I really want to try this game out I download it then the log in won’t work

I have played a lot of these empire building games and I must say this one is set apart from the rest. The graphics are unparalleled, and I love the customization available for building placement, and terrain. This game is not like all the other pay to play empire games, it truly is free to play and is much more immersive and detailed. It’s also nice that you don’t have to wait increasing amounts of time just to construct buildings. This game reminds me much of Age of Empires III. A game I’ve longed to come to iOS. However, it has some disappointing caveats in it. For one, gameplay is incredibly slow. It takes a long time to build up the resources you need to progress. This is contrary to the initial tutorial where everything moves quickly. I was disappointed to learn that the walls you can build around your castle pretty much serve no purpose. I was hoping to have to defend the castle from attacks as is suggested in the tutorial. Not so. The walls are for looks pretty much. The tutorial is wack when it comes to battles. There’s so much I don’t understand about how battles work and again it takes forever to build up the resources to upgrade your troops. You can gather resources faster by battling but again it’s hard to learn how to get good at battling. I played for a few days and then got bored with it. It could be a really great game if they would spend some more time on it, adding more tutorials, making it easier to collect resources, or making castle upgrades not have so many requirements, adding some castle defense functionality, and making the map bigger.

Cannot get game to get past the new game screen. Very rarely does it make it to that point itself, :/

Amazing game

When I got this game I had my doubts but when got to playing the game it was wonderful. It’s not like other games and I think it’s got a lot of potential. The models for the soldiers could look better and they should add more slots for soldiers but overall this game is great I also think they should make another version of this game that takes place in a different time period. I recommend this game to all people who like strategy games combined with a bit of kingdom management.

I spent over a week gathering resources and taking the time to craft some knights, only to have the efforts thrown down the drain for “scrap metal.” This was a cruel waste of my time and it’s obvious that the developers want you to buy gold to purchase units, rather than crafting. Absolutely shameful.

At first I quite enjoyed playing this game, enough to even spend some money in the store, however once I payed for the gold pack it instantly charged me for it and I never received a single thing, afterwards the game doesn’t even seem to work properly anymore, constantly lagging and buttons don’t work when pressed, I want either what I payed for or my money back!

It just I don’t like this wait game but the battles was kind of weird so I will not a Want you to wast 1.1 gb

Overall a decent game, but it is hard to learn how to play. The advisor shows up in the very beginning and you are on your own. The duel system match is horrible. Also it is almost impossible to get gold if you don’t pay and gold is the only way to buy advanced troops. You will stuck with level 1 units without gold and it is impossible to even finish quests. So if you don’t want to pay, you may play fine for a few days then have to give up like me. Too bad

The only things I think could be approved are the amounts of resources that are received per collection and there is a pretty rough lag issue when dueling PVP but all In all a fun game

I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years and it worked nicely and it was fun but recently it won’t let me into the game, it freezes on a loading screen before I even get into the game. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I’m still having issues, please see if there is anything you can do, if not it’s ok but I enjoyed this game when I was able to play it.

Not Happy Since Last 1.4 and 1.4.1 Updates. They keep stating that they fixed bugs and optimizations but AGAIN the “fixes” are just as bad as before or worse than before and my “Order” Cathedral Church that I had made 9 Pledges too is STILL reduced back to the original design structure, so that was not fixed either. Again, I want my Cathedral returned. The game STILL looks Too Bright or the Opacity still looks too Light and what used to look like a Green Spring Season now looks like a Yellow Summer and the Fall Season looks the same as the Yellow Summer. Before the 1.4 and 1.4.1 Update the Seasons looked perfect, but now everything looks Pale Yellow except Winter looks like a Glaring White instead of an Icy White. Also this game has not had an update in several years and they still brought absolutely NOTHING new to the game at all. No new portraits - No new armor - No new armies and STILL No New Content! Come On Sega!!! Get it together will ya? They just keep making the game look worse or no better than it did before and still nothing new to the table. I made lots of Whale Purchases into this game because I just happen to like the Total War Series plus I am a competitor in the PVP mode. But now after this continuous & DISASTROUS Updates, the game is just not desirable to play anymore to me. No use emailing the developers anymore ‘cause all I get is the automated response, so here I am AGAIN with no choice but to warn new players what they’re going to experience when they download this game. Here’s a tip for the devs: Before releasing any more updates: “Test The Update” ok? And bring some new content to the game and some compensation rewards for all this frustration. *Devs are welcome to contact me anytime. I have already sent them Before & After Screenshots which they didnt bother to reply but I will be more than happy to send them again if they care to fix this issue at all. While I am downloading the game, I whould like to know if I can get attacked when i am offline. I give 5 stars because some of the reviews are decent. Also, can u even get attacked? If so, would it be by real people? And how do you attack other real people? ( I have downloaded the game now) I am still editing this review.

The dueling system should take into account the troop level for each player, and pitch armies of similar strength against each other. There’s a lot of XP at stake, and weaker armies are unfairly turned into sparring partners for stronger armies who end up racking up the XP and increasing their dueling status at the expense of the weaker rivals.

I was going to buy some gold, it kicked me out and now it does not launch. I have re installed and all, but no luck.

There’s potential but suffers from terrible balancing issues and is simply pay to win. Where’s the fun in that.

Buyer beware: looks like it’s glitchy when processing payments. I’m out $20 and got none of the gold I purchased. Serves me right for in-app purchasing.

The game is too slow. It takes 2 to 5 days to gather enough materials to craft a weapon, and another 12hrs to craft a weapon, only to find out it is scrap metal, and you need to craft again to up level it to usefulness. There are multiple levels to a weapon, so it’s probably 3 months before i can up level the weapon to max. Not to mention that each unit can have a weapon, a shield, armor, plus it looks like you can have three accessories. So to fully equip one unit at max item level, you’re looking at 12-18 months of work for one unit of the 9 units you can field. I keep coming back to the game though...I even spent money on it. I’d rather pay $40 for a full game instead of the pay to play garbage.

I am a giant total war fan, having most of the franchise since Shogun 2, so a Mobile version of these games was an amazing idea. I like the way you can really transform your realm and customize your leader and your banner. This game is a definite must-have. I only have one problem, that after the most recent update, some buttons were very slow to respond, and a couple times I had to quit and come back to the game. If you could fix this, I would rate this game 6 stars!

Don’t listen to the people saying pay to play! If you have 10-15 minutes of patience you will never need real money as I have never paid a penny. Plus you get gold every day just from clicking on your castle. I’ve saved up 85 gold bars so far and only 4 required to get perks. That is if you even need the perks. Don’t get mad at Sega because you’re bad at the game 🤷‍♂️ So I’ve been playing total war games since Shogun total war debuted on pc and this is the PERFECT version for iPhone. The play style isn’t stressful and I don’t have to worry about other players or alliances and stuff that’s usually just a general headache. In my experience on iPhone apps, (and multiplayer games in general) other players just ruin the game for me. That’s not to say you can’t battle with random people online because you still have that as an OPTION which is good. The play style is challenging but not impossible and the newest update really brings the game to life graphically. I also don’t have to wait hours for my units to be able to battle again. If a unit is wiped out, it takes 20 minutes max to heal after the battle is over. During that time I can just substitute and experiment with some of the many other units available in my roster. This allows for a diverse gameplay experience and gives me incentive to upgrade all of my units which is a fun objective to keep me going. The only thing I hope for is that total war can make other versions of this game so I can play as other factions! Great job on this one guys keep it up!!!

I have been playing many mobile games. This is the worst game I ever played. I play TW on PC and expected more from it. 3 days is all I could stomach. Worst mobile game I have ever played.

Like the title says the game was great then you updated the user agreement the day before I wrote this and now the screen looks like you messed up the gamma settings and I play only on my phone I don’t have a laptop for this dull game. So I have no way of changing the settings half the stuff on the screen is now whites out or unable to see it, you can’t see symbols on buttons and it looks like the Sahara desert sun is blazing the land, I have submitted a ticket to SEGA but don’t count on getting a reply. I wonder who owns SEGA it was pretty sneaking seeming to update the user agreement I read it and your just selling our information to 3rd parties for marketing. That’s continued disgusting behavior. I’ve spent a good deal of time on this game especially since COVID has us not able to do much. Now I’m convinced something dishonorable is up as you have jacked up the whole experience. I’m awaiting a reply from SEGA if any and of course will amend this review if you fix the problems you caused that never existed the entire time I’ve been playing.

It’s a very fun game! The game is realistic it involves realistic and controllable battles. the attention to detail is impressive for a mobile game and they try to make it as real as possible which is what I like in a game.

Overall amazing game. Battle mechanics are nice, no OP players to camp near your base and loot the living heck out of your base. Just one thing.. The LAG! It’s horrible! My game freezes every time I try to upgrade a unit! Please fix and this will become 5 stars.

Fun concept, from what I can tell. However, the game can only remain open for 5-10 seconds before crashing or being disconnected from servers and being forced to restart the app. Don’t waste your time till the issues are resolved.

This could be a great great game! The only problem is you cannot continually expand. You only get 4 castles, that’s it? There is a huge opportunity for this game to grow$$$ you need to create new lands to conquer and settle and it would be fantastic.

Man, on a Friday, I was just bored and watching Pixelated Apollo, as one does. Total war is my favorite, so I wanted to play a game similar. So I pulled out my IPad and found this 10/10 would reccomend

The gameplay has great graphics, and easy controls. The city building is fun and easy to develop, plus it’s impossible to become broke of money. The combat battles needs a major overhaul. It’s very unbalanced and difficult to manage the units. The computer AI units are always overpowered compared to yours. It’s easy to fight on easy mode except when you’re facing 4 waves of units (12 units total) compared to your maxed out army of 7 units. medium difficulty should be labeled hard, and hard should be labeled impossible. Overall the game is slow so have patience, and the battles are frustrating.

This game is amazing but the only thing is pvp because for me its slow for my charges but the rest is extremely good

It’s a simple game easy to play and manage. There is how ever one thing that needs fixing. The opposing army may have more then 9 units of men, and on the screen that shows those men there is a small arrow that should allow u to see who you are fighting next but doesn’t scroll over to see those men your up against.

Only think I noticed and really dislike, even when your not playing or if you stop playing, the DUEL LEVEL goes back to 17!!! I was at level 13 in 2 different occasions and both times it puts me back at 17 after a day or 2 of not playing!!! Very stressful when trying to complete a mission and get to Duel level 12 to unlock something.

The game is amazing the fighting is awesome but the one thing that is isn’t great is the gold coins. I understand that they want you use real money to buy gold but using gold coins to heal hours troops is a little absurd but at the same time the money to heal your troops should come out of the economy of silver coins not gold. Also if you do want to use gold coins for most of the things in the game then put some missions in their that will be able to give you some coins that’s all I have to say.

I love this game and the developers made it the best free mobile game I’ve played. I think they should implement siege battle into the game. It would be amazing if you could have a field battle and hen whoever wins that attacks the castle. And I think you could have siege equipment and your goal would be to take the center. I know it’s a stretch but if the devs get back to me I will describe it more in detail

It’s been 3 years since the last update. Battles are automatically lost. Troops are sent but not dead and can’t go on missions. Server is unsupported. Might as well remove this game off the store.

I’m level 17 and have to get Wedgeford to advance but there is no way I can get what I need to pay tribute and the duels are not winnable if you don’t have like a rank three army so I’m screwed. Other than that it is a pretty good game.

You can do in this game without spending a lot of money and it doesn't cost a lot if you do want to do a few upgrades with money it really just comes down to the player and what do you want to put into it but you can easily do this for you to play while doing something else and coming back to this it's very enjoyable in my opinion.

This game allows you to build at your own speed, which is nice. Battles are simple and definitely not the reason to play. It is definitely not true to the Total Wars PC games of old, but I find it very enjoyable and highly recommend if you enjoy the building aspect of the war games.

I got into this game when I was looking for something to keep coming back to, I have enjoyed the battles and strategy within them, as well as, a satisfying progression throughout the game with challenges posed as well. The only reason this rating is not a five star, would be due to my feeling that this game would be better with even more multiplayer aspects, aside from the duels mode and friendly duels. Overall a great game that I would recommend!

Huge fan of Total War series, but this one is designed to waste your time and/or money. I spent a good amount of hours on it to make sure I know what I’m talking about. The Map: *Progress is excruciatingly slow, super hard to get gold unless you spend real $$$ and that won’t get you too far. Nothing special strategy wise, mostly mindless screen tapping. *Bug gets you randomly kicked out of your account *Viking outposts are a chance to battle on economics strategy with other people, except that AFTER SPENDING TENS OF HOURS TO MAKE #1 YOUR SCORE IS GONE AND ALL PROGRESS IS LOST! The Battles: *Battles are VERY basic compared to the original game, but that wouldn’t be too bad if you didn’t *GET KICKED OUT OF THE BATTLE due to BUG and lose without being able to take part in it, which makes Duels even more frustrating. *Super hard to win a duel or Battle Quests without buying advanced units (or crafting, which takes so much time and resources that you might die of old age by the time that’s done) and then you’re not out of the woods yet because you have to build Xp, which is another long and arduous journey. Conclusion: This game is just a scam banking on the original Total War nostalgia. Don’t waste your time and money on it, instead of entertainment you get frustration!

Most of these types of games are boring to me, but this one doesn’t take fifteen days to build a rock. The combat is pretty fun too. But building my castles up, upgrading my units, and actually making a lot of progress fairly quick, is what keeps me playing this game.

This game is great, and I thought I wouldn’t have problems. But then there was a duel that was frozen and I couldn’t do anything, I tried to shut down the app and nothing happened, please fix this problem.

I love this game it’s amazing. I’ve been playing this game for a few months and I’m level 34. I think that this game’s perfection can be raised even higher by; doing a online 2 v 2 battle and you can invite your friends to join you in duels menu or something and attack another duo. You guys should also start people off for free with some gold about 200 gold; because I know from my experience that gold is pretty hard to get if you can’t buy it especially with ten year olds like me who don’t have a credit card or gift cards on a iPad or a phone. This is seriously the best game by far on the App Store

Great game, except the server crashes during the most inopportune time, like when you are crawling and scraping for a level 9 dual rank, your playing an inferior force, and the server delays and you get your butt kicked. This is a tough game when dueling with other Lords...

The game starts out pretty fun, but there’s a very obvious pay to win aspect throughout the rest of the game. I have no idea how the matchmaking works for the duel system they have, but it’s very obviously not fair for when you unlock it. I played 3 duels and played against people who were much higher leveled then me. They have full armies while I still was missing two slots. The RNG element in battles becomes kind of infuriating when my group of 12 Viking spearman couldn’t kill one guy? One enemy spearman cleared out my entire unit and I lost the duel because of it. Besides that, the way stone and silver are gathered in the game put an extreme limit on how much you can play. Blacksmiths make 10 silver every 15 minutes and with a building limit in each castle you can really only have 3 barracks in a castle. With buildings costing hundreds of silver, it seems pretty unrealistic without paying some money to the game to get enough silver to make it worth while. Stone works the same way, the restriction on where you can place quarries and how they work make it extremely difficult to gather stone. It takes about 25 minutes to gather 10 stone. One wall (of which you can have 50 of in each castle) costs 20 stone, basic buildings cost over a hundred stone making the rate at which you gather restrict how much you can play the game but to gather more, you have to get back on the game and collect it or it won’t start the next sequence of gathering. Each stone deposit has about 1300 stone in it but you can only get 10 every 25 minutes making it miserably long to gather any amount of stone. To unlock new regions of the map you can either pay tribute which is astronomically priced, or use your renown by completing some mission. To unlock the third region you have to obtain a dueling rank of 18 or pay 2000 of all resources. If you can’t see the problem here, both of these mechanics in the game seem to be broken, the matchmaking made it impossible to win duels and it would take weeks of farming and not expanding my castles or upgrading anything to unlock it through renown. Wood isn’t a problem for some reason, and if you get enough farms down, food can be okay also, but for whatever reason they used a different mechanic with quarries which makes them take up so much room and gather so little resources. Silver there’s nothing more really you can do to make more. It was a fun game at first while you had the starting resources, but those quickly run out and with them so does the enjoyment of the game. Re: I’ve now played 10 duels and still have not won a single one of them. Also have yet to play against and opponent who didn’t have better units, and more of them then I can have. Garbage matchmaking. Might be the deciding factor in my uninstalling

Overall a decent game, but it is hard to learn how to play. The advisor shows up in the very beginning and you are on your own. The duel system match is horrible. Also it is almost impossible to get gold if you don’t pay and gold is the only way to buy advanced troops. You will stuck with level 1 units without gold and it is impossible to even finish quests. So if you don’t want to pay, you may play fine for a few days then have to give up like me. Too bad

Waste of time. Really disappointing for a total war game. Do two seconds of stuff then wait forever to do more. Do yourself a favor and get the old total war rome app.

I’m not quite sure yet. I guess you’ll have to decide for yourself. It seems very difficult to get ahead in the game without spending. $$$$$$$$

The only things I think could be approved are the amounts of resources that are received per collection and there is a pretty rough lag issue when dueling PVP but all In all a fun game

I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years and it worked nicely and it was fun but recently it won’t let me into the game, it freezes on a loading screen before I even get into the game. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I’m still having issues, please see if there is anything you can do, if not it’s ok but I enjoyed this game when I was able to play it.

Not Happy Since Last 1.4 and 1.4.1 Updates. They keep stating that they fixed bugs and optimizations but AGAIN the “fixes” are just as bad as before or worse than before and my “Order” Cathedral Church that I had made 9 Pledges too is STILL reduced back to the original design structure, so that was not fixed either. Again, I want my Cathedral returned. The game STILL looks Too Bright or the Opacity still looks too Light and what used to look like a Green Spring Season now looks like a Yellow Summer and the Fall Season looks the same as the Yellow Summer. Before the 1.4 and 1.4.1 Update the Seasons looked perfect, but now everything looks Pale Yellow except Winter looks like a Glaring White instead of an Icy White. Also this game has not had an update in several years and they still brought absolutely NOTHING new to the game at all. No new portraits - No new armor - No new armies and STILL No New Content! Come On Sega!!! Get it together will ya? They just keep making the game look worse or no better than it did before and still nothing new to the table. I made lots of Whale Purchases into this game because I just happen to like the Total War Series plus I am a competitor in the PVP mode. But now after this continuous & DISASTROUS Updates, the game is just not desirable to play anymore to me. No use emailing the developers anymore ‘cause all I get is the automated response, so here I am AGAIN with no choice but to warn new players what they’re going to experience when they download this game. Here’s a tip for the devs: Before releasing any more updates: “Test The Update” ok? And bring some new content to the game and some compensation rewards for all this frustration. *Devs are welcome to contact me anytime. I have already sent them Before & After Screenshots which they didnt bother to reply but I will be more than happy to send them again if they care to fix this issue at all. Sad - this game has the potential to be a 4.7 instead of a miserable 4.4 😕👎🏻

While I am downloading the game, I whould like to know if I can get attacked when i am offline. I give 5 stars because some of the reviews are decent. Also, can u even get attacked? If so, would it be by real people? And how do you attack other real people? ( I have downloaded the game now) I am still editing this review.

The dueling system should take into account the troop level for each player, and pitch armies of similar strength against each other. There’s a lot of XP at stake, and weaker armies are unfairly turned into sparring partners for stronger armies who end up racking up the XP and increasing their dueling status at the expense of the weaker rivals.

I was going to buy some gold, it kicked me out and now it does not launch. I have re installed and all, but no luck.

There’s potential but suffers from terrible balancing issues and is simply pay to win. Where’s the fun in that.

Buyer beware: looks like it’s glitchy when processing payments. I’m out $20 and got none of the gold I purchased. Serves me right for in-app purchasing.

The game is too slow. It takes 2 to 5 days to gather enough materials to craft a weapon, and another 12hrs to craft a weapon, only to find out it is scrap metal, and you need to craft again to up level it to usefulness. There are multiple levels to a weapon, so it’s probably 3 months before i can up level the weapon to max. Not to mention that each unit can have a weapon, a shield, armor, plus it looks like you can have three accessories. So to fully equip one unit at max item level, you’re looking at 12-18 months of work for one unit of the 9 units you can field. I keep coming back to the game though...I even spent money on it. I’d rather pay $40 for a full game instead of the pay to play garbage.

I am a giant total war fan, having most of the franchise since Shogun 2, so a Mobile version of these games was an amazing idea. I like the way you can really transform your realm and customize your leader and your banner. This game is a definite must-have. I only have one problem, that after the most recent update, some buttons were very slow to respond, and a couple times I had to quit and come back to the game. If you could fix this, I would rate this game 6 stars!

Has potential. Not very easy to control. Way to many steps to get things going. Needs more simplicity to be more appealing. Not trying to add another job to my life.

Don’t listen to the people saying pay to play! If you have 10-15 minutes of patience you will never need real money as I have never paid a penny. Plus you get gold every day just from clicking on your castle. I’ve saved up 85 gold bars so far and only 4 required to get perks. That is if you even need the perks. Don’t get mad at Sega because you’re bad at the game 🤷‍♂️ So I’ve been playing total war games since Shogun total war debuted on pc and this is the PERFECT version for iPhone. The play style isn’t stressful and I don’t have to worry about other players or alliances and stuff that’s usually just a general headache. In my experience on iPhone apps, (and multiplayer games in general) other players just ruin the game for me. That’s not to say you can’t battle with random people online because you still have that as an OPTION which is good. The play style is challenging but not impossible and the newest update really brings the game to life graphically. I also don’t have to wait hours for my units to be able to battle again. If a unit is wiped out, it takes 20 minutes max to heal after the battle is over. During that time I can just substitute and experiment with some of the many other units available in my roster. This allows for a diverse gameplay experience and gives me incentive to upgrade all of my units which is a fun objective to keep me going. The only thing I hope for is that total war can make other versions of this game so I can play as other factions! Great job on this one guys keep it up!!!

I have been playing many mobile games. This is the worst game I ever played. I play TW on PC and expected more from it. 3 days is all I could stomach. Worst mobile game I have ever played.

Like the title says the game was great then you updated the user agreement the day before I wrote this and now the screen looks like you messed up the gamma settings and I play only on my phone I don’t have a laptop for this dull game. So I have no way of changing the settings half the stuff on the screen is now whites out or unable to see it, you can’t see symbols on buttons and it looks like the Sahara desert sun is blazing the land, I have submitted a ticket to SEGA but don’t count on getting a reply. I wonder who owns SEGA it was pretty sneaking seeming to update the user agreement I read it and your just selling our information to 3rd parties for marketing. That’s continued disgusting behavior. I’ve spent a good deal of time on this game especially since COVID has us not able to do much. Now I’m convinced something dishonorable is up as you have jacked up the whole experience. I’m awaiting a reply from SEGA if any and of course will amend this review if you fix the problems you caused that never existed the entire time I’ve been playing.

It’s a very fun game! The game is realistic it involves realistic and controllable battles. the attention to detail is impressive for a mobile game and they try to make it as real as possible which is what I like in a game.

Overall amazing game. Battle mechanics are nice, no OP players to camp near your base and loot the living heck out of your base. Just one thing.. The LAG! It’s horrible! My game freezes every time I try to upgrade a unit! Please fix and this will become 5 stars.

Yeah just what’s in the title. I found this game to be garbage.

Fun concept, from what I can tell. However, the game can only remain open for 5-10 seconds before crashing or being disconnected from servers and being forced to restart the app. Don’t waste your time till the issues are resolved.

This could be a great great game! The only problem is you cannot continually expand. You only get 4 castles, that’s it? There is a huge opportunity for this game to grow$$$ you need to create new lands to conquer and settle and it would be fantastic.

Man, on a Friday, I was just bored and watching Pixelated Apollo, as one does. Total war is my favorite, so I wanted to play a game similar. So I pulled out my IPad and found this 10/10 would reccomend

The gameplay has great graphics, and easy controls. The city building is fun and easy to develop, plus it’s impossible to become broke of money. The combat battles needs a major overhaul. It’s very unbalanced and difficult to manage the units. The computer AI units are always overpowered compared to yours. It’s easy to fight on easy mode except when you’re facing 4 waves of units (12 units total) compared to your maxed out army of 7 units. medium difficulty should be labeled hard, and hard should be labeled impossible. Overall the game is slow so have patience, and the battles are frustrating.

This game is amazing but the only thing is pvp because for me its slow for my charges but the rest is extremely good

I played years ago when this first came out and was great and had no major update or upgrades in the game in over 3+ years. That not way to keep a loyal fan base.

It’s a simple game easy to play and manage. There is how ever one thing that needs fixing. The opposing army may have more then 9 units of men, and on the screen that shows those men there is a small arrow that should allow u to see who you are fighting next but doesn’t scroll over to see those men your up against.

Only think I noticed and really dislike, even when your not playing or if you stop playing, the DUEL LEVEL goes back to 17!!! I was at level 13 in 2 different occasions and both times it puts me back at 17 after a day or 2 of not playing!!! Very stressful when trying to complete a mission and get to Duel level 12 to unlock something.

The game is amazing the fighting is awesome but the one thing that is isn’t great is the gold coins. I understand that they want you use real money to buy gold but using gold coins to heal hours troops is a little absurd but at the same time the money to heal your troops should come out of the economy of silver coins not gold. Also if you do want to use gold coins for most of the things in the game then put some missions in their that will be able to give you some coins that’s all I have to say.

So on of my buildings got flooded and I built a dam but it stopped my wheat fields and when I tried to fix it the water didn’t go on the terrain and my wheat fields don’t work anymore plz fix it

I love this game and the developers made it the best free mobile game I’ve played. I think they should implement siege battle into the game. It would be amazing if you could have a field battle and hen whoever wins that attacks the castle. And I think you could have siege equipment and your goal would be to take the center. I know it’s a stretch but if the devs get back to me I will describe it more in detail

It’s been 3 years since the last update. Battles are automatically lost. Troops are sent but not dead and can’t go on missions. Server is unsupported. Might as well remove this game off the store.

I’m level 17 and have to get Wedgeford to advance but there is no way I can get what I need to pay tribute and the duels are not winnable if you don’t have like a rank three army so I’m screwed. Other than that it is a pretty good game.

You can do in this game without spending a lot of money and it doesn't cost a lot if you do want to do a few upgrades with money it really just comes down to the player and what do you want to put into it but you can easily do this for you to play while doing something else and coming back to this it's very enjoyable in my opinion.

This game allows you to build at your own speed, which is nice. Battles are simple and definitely not the reason to play. It is definitely not true to the Total Wars PC games of old, but I find it very enjoyable and highly recommend if you enjoy the building aspect of the war games.

The game is Great just wish u could put like protection like a catapult and I also wish there was like siege battles but all in all it’s a Great game

I got into this game when I was looking for something to keep coming back to, I have enjoyed the battles and strategy within them, as well as, a satisfying progression throughout the game with challenges posed as well. The only reason this rating is not a five star, would be due to my feeling that this game would be better with even more multiplayer aspects, aside from the duels mode and friendly duels. Overall a great game that I would recommend!

This game is really,really good. I believe you could make some more amazing games like this! Sure,all you may do is build a kingdom and fight. But there is much more to this game then you think. There may be bugs,but the game is awesome. In conclusion,I think more games like this should be made.

I love the game and the graphics of it but it come with your network that gives you full bars to end up getting kicked for low connection. I’m the one who had full bars playing this game and every time I play this game it will not work or play. I get kicked off the game for having low connection even though I’m next to my WiFi like 1 foot away from it and I still have low connection. Please fix this network problem it’s really killing the game.

Huge fan of Total War series, but this one is designed to waste your time and/or money. I spent a good amount of hours on it to make sure I know what I’m talking about. The Map: *Progress is excruciatingly slow, super hard to get gold unless you spend real $$$ and that won’t get you too far. Nothing special strategy wise, mostly mindless screen tapping. *Bug gets you randomly kicked out of your account *Viking outposts are a chance to battle on economics strategy with other people, except that AFTER SPENDING TENS OF HOURS TO MAKE #1 YOUR SCORE IS GONE AND ALL PROGRESS IS LOST! The Battles: *Battles are VERY basic compared to the original game, but that wouldn’t be too bad if you didn’t *GET KICKED OUT OF THE BATTLE due to BUG and lose without being able to take part in it, which makes Duels even more frustrating. *Super hard to win a duel or Battle Quests without buying advanced units (or crafting, which takes so much time and resources that you might die of old age by the time that’s done) and then you’re not out of the woods yet because you have to build Xp, which is another long and arduous journey. Conclusion: This game is just a scam banking on the original Total War nostalgia. Don’t waste your time and money on it, instead of entertainment you get frustration!

I think you guys have just done a great job of a game as it is really good the graphics are great but it could be expanded on graphics. I also like how I can make a kingdom in my own custom way and I think it can still be worked on but great job!

Most of these types of games are boring to me, but this one doesn’t take fifteen days to build a rock. The combat is pretty fun too. But building my castles up, upgrading my units, and actually making a lot of progress fairly quick, is what keeps me playing this game.

This game is great, and I thought I wouldn’t have problems. But then there was a duel that was frozen and I couldn’t do anything, I tried to shut down the app and nothing happened, please fix this problem.

This games battle system is full of glitches and the makers make in difficult and confusing to report them for players.

I love this game it’s amazing. I’ve been playing this game for a few months and I’m level 34. I think that this game’s perfection can be raised even higher by; doing a online 2 v 2 battle and you can invite your friends to join you in duels menu or something and attack another duo. You guys should also start people off for free with some gold about 200 gold; because I know from my experience that gold is pretty hard to get if you can’t buy it especially with ten year olds like me who don’t have a credit card or gift cards on a iPad or a phone. Great game, except the server crashes during the most inopportune time, like when you are crawling and scraping for a level 9 dual rank, your playing an inferior force, and the server delays and you get your butt kicked. This is a tough game when dueling with other Lords...

The game starts out pretty fun, but there’s a very obvious pay to win aspect throughout the rest of the game. I have no idea how the matchmaking works for the duel system they have, but it’s very obviously not fair for when you unlock it. I played 3 duels and played against people who were much higher leveled then me. They have full armies while I still was missing two slots. The RNG element in battles becomes kind of infuriating when my group of 12 Viking spearman couldn’t kill one guy? One enemy spearman cleared out my entire unit and I lost the duel because of it. Besides that, the way stone and silver are gathered in the game put an extreme limit on how much you can play. Blacksmiths make 10 silver every 15 minutes and with a building limit in each castle you can really only have 3 barracks in a castle. With buildings costing hundreds of silver, it seems pretty unrealistic without paying some money to the game to get enough silver to make it worth while. Stone works the same way, the restriction on where you can place quarries and how they work make it extremely difficult to gather stone. It takes about 25 minutes to gather 10 stone. One wall (of which you can have 50 of in each castle) costs 20 stone, basic buildings cost over a hundred stone making the rate at which you gather restrict how much you can play the game but to gather more, you have to get back on the game and collect it or it won’t start the next sequence of gathering. Each stone deposit has about 1300 stone in it but you can only get 10 every 25 minutes making it miserably long to gather any amount of stone. To unlock new regions of the map you can either pay tribute which is astronomically priced, or use your renown by completing some mission. To unlock the third region you have to obtain a dueling rank of 18 or pay 2000 of all resources. If you can’t see the problem here, both of these mechanics in the game seem to be broken, the matchmaking made it impossible to win duels and it would take weeks of farming and not expanding my castles or upgrading anything to unlock it through renown. Wood isn’t a problem for some reason, and if you get enough farms down, food can be okay also, but for whatever reason they used a different mechanic with quarries which makes them take up so much room and gather so little resources. Silver there’s nothing more really you can do to make more. It was a fun game at first while you had the starting resources, but those quickly run out and with them so does the enjoyment of the game. Re: I’ve now played 10 duels and still have not won a single one of them. Also have yet to play against and opponent who didn’t have better units, and more of them then I can have. Garbage matchmaking. Might be the deciding factor in my uninstalling
