One of the wrost app I have ever seen or used for hotel booking.I request everyone who is seeing before downloading this app please do not book on this app it’s an request from me . 7 days before I have booked and lodge in Karimnagar and paid online through this app.while booking it was clearly mentioned that their is parking for vechile and all after visiting their no parking was available. So their was no place to park an car so I canceled the booking the hotel manager said that refund will be initiated in 7days still not got the refund and they even don’t give response to our calls and messages just everyone is fake in this oyo please guys don’t trust this app and people’s if they help me after seeing this I promise surely I will let you know through review.😡😡🤬

I would have given 0 review if I can. I booked a room for my family in India from US and it doesn’t even show up in my bookings list on oyo app. I tried calling Indian customer service to cancel the room for one day but was not able to reach them from USA. When I called the US customer service, they asked me to call Indian customer service. Worst service I have ever seen. I chatted with them a lot of times, and no one resolved my issue. If you guys are not able to cancel the bookings that are booked from USA, then you shouldn’t allow a user to book a room from other countries too.

i booked room and it showed charges as 700 , i paid it in full and when i reached tarrif showed as 2200 and they asked me 1500 more and then property manager cancelled booking from my device by saying it will be refunded . now oyo is now refunding money and also manager took 1500 from me. such fraud

This app is HORRIBLE!! Theres no way to even search for a room on it, its like 1/2 the app doesn’t even show up on screen. No way to modify anything on it. I installed it 3 different times thinking there was a glitch downloading app but it still doesn’t seem to be working. Total waste of time.

On the august 17th me and my friend rented the room and it was spectacular! We decided to extend until the 20th because of all the hotels trinity in Texarkana is the best!! Room was very clean, the bed was to die for, I literally slept like a baby!! I will book again as im sure they will fix my room and act accordingly to getting us into a new room.I’m having some problems with room 220 and condensation of the of air conditioner no phone and toilet doesn’t flush properly at all which I addressed yesterday around 3pm when we checked in through the oyo app. but other than this time which I’m sure they will fix, I will then give another five star rating

I made a booking with OYO and I paid through the OYO app $79 for two days. When I got to the hotel they required a $100 deposit. I went and I explain to the front desk that I don’t have it additional hundred dollars to give them. The manager said well you’re going to have to go ahead and cancel your reservation not giving me a chance to say how soon can you get the deposit to me cancel your reservation sir. What he didn’t tell me was when I canceled the reservation I would not be refunded the $79. It’s been two days of back-and-forth with the OYO customer service people. they got my money they don’t care. Telling me their policy’s what it is and they have to stand by it. So they have taken my money and refuse to listen to reason

Booked a hotel room for July 4th in Branson. Unfortunately this app/company over booked rooms. I spent most of the day trying to find out where I was staying because they kept forwarding my reservation to a different hotel that also had no rooms. I was told someone from Costa Rica would call me to let me know what hotel I’d be staying at... I ended up calling back multiple times because no one called me! At 9pm on the night of check in I still have zero idea where I’d be staying. I was told wrong multi times & alot of time just trying to get through to someone (call center not in US). A 11:00pm a room was finally found for me BUT it would be an up charge.. are you kidding me?? I ended up wasting a whole day trying to figure out where my room was to not actually have one. Had to sleep in my car. Garbage service!! Will never use again.

If it weren’t for the night crew consisting of the two girls that work the front desk at night and the young ladies that clean up the rooms this place would have been my worst customer service experience. The hot water is a first come first serve and that alone will ruin the end of your day alone. The facility is getting a face lift and the price of the room is discounted for that reason and was well understood before purchasing the room but the horrible customer service I just don’t get. Refacing or remodeling a business is always a bold step and is a good move to keep up your quality and maintain a good customer base which throws me a huge curve as to why you would employ anyone with no customer service experience or better yet make the only employees that had any work the night shift and clean the rooms. They need to be running your business.

I decided to download this app. I looked at places I would need a room while traveling. Couldn’t fine a single room!!! I also had a few friends that said I could refer my family and friends and get an amazon giftcard for putting out the word. I referred ppl and they didn’t send me the amazon giftcard. So i got ahold of support and it took WEEKS for them to tell me that I wasn’t “eligible” for the reward. I DID EVERYTHING REQUIRED AND I EVEN READ T&C. You guys are a rip off and a total SCAM!!! I talked to everyone ive referred and had them uninstall the app. WORTHLESS APP!

I referred all my family and friends in December for their referral program but never got all my vouchers. It said I was supposed to get 4 total I got the first 2 but not the rest. I even got a call from them about booking a hotel but nothing else. I’m missing my $50 and $100 amazon vouchers. Please don’t fall for this company’s tricks. I regret even telling my family and friends about it.

I had booked a room in Grand Apple for 4 nights in Ahmedabad. It was a late check in, around 11 pm, after entering the room I was shocked to see the filthy condition of the room. I immediately contacted their customer support who asked me to share the pics of the room so they can call me back after seeing the pics and arrange alternate accommodation. I shared the pics immediately but did not get any call back, I waited for couple of hours and sent a reminder email but still did not get any call. So i had to spend the night in that filthy room. Next morning i called them back at 7 am and I had to explain everything over again and the executive said I need to call after 9am when their ground agents are available so they can verify the situation. I called back after 9 am too and had to explain everything again, they said they cannot issue full refund as I had already spent a night there and will refund full amount for the remaining 3 nights to which I did not agree to this as I had immediately informed oyo about the condition of the room and was forced to stay for the night because oyo had not called me back and had not made any alternative arrangement for my accommodation. I checked out of that filth at 10.41 am and called oyo to inform about the same and to check the status of my complaint and I was informed that I will get full refund for the 3 nights and 20% for the night spend to which i hesitantly agreed as i did not want waste more of my time in talking with them. After 4 nights I received email from oyo mentioning that I have checked out after 4 nights And I have been charged for the full period. I called them immediately, this time they said they will charge me full for the night spent and will refund only 80% of the 3 nights. Why oyo? You guys made a basic promise of clean and hygienic rooms and you failed to deliver the same, even after informing about the condition of the room you did not call back, now why should I pay for the period which did not even stay and why should I pay for the period which you forced me to stay in a filthy room?

Never trust the reviews for hotels and worst customer service. Please avoid OYO as much as possible. Got into a 3-star hotel and they had serious hygiene issues. Bloody sheets, smelly rooms, dirty toilets just chaos. I checked out immediately and haven’t received my 9742 rupees of my refund. Called customer service 5-6 times and got escalated 4 times. Provide alternate contact numbers they are not calling me or processing the refund. PLEASE AVOID OYO AT ALL COST. Suing them for all inconvenience caused. This is not acceptable service.

First of all the app was great which I used to book an OYO room few days prior to my arrival at my destination city. I requested for an early morning checkin as I was landing early and when I landed I opened the app to get the directions and it mentioned that my booking was cancelled. It was cancelled without my knowledge and I didn’t receive any notification or an email regarding this. I don’t know who cancelled the booking is it the hotel or the OYO service but I was stranded in a new city without a place to go. So I tried my luck again and used OYO app to check if there were any hotels available for an early morning checkin and the OYO app showed me that the very hotel which I booked earlier is available for checkin and this time I made sure I paid and I received the confirmation email and the app showed that my booking was confirmed as well. I felt relieved and booked a cab to the hotel and upon my arrival when I showed my booking confirmation the hotel representative told me that they are 100% booked and he can’t accommodate me. Then why the HELL OYO app allowed me book it in the first place. Then after a long battle with the OYO customer care I was given another booking with another OYO hotel which was 10 mins away. As I was alone and young it wasn’t a big deal for me to go to another hotel and stay there. But for people who arrive with their families or for older people it would have been quite difficult for them to go through this hassle. Not using this app service again!!

I stayed in a Knight’s Inn that was bought by OYO. The hotel was nice so I downloaded the app. I tried to use the app the book a room the next night. The app said $29 but they were going to charge me $79 for the room! Plus, I’ve had the app for 3 days and have gotten 12 notifications about irrelevant “offers” and when you close the app after clearing the notifications they send you another one so there will ALWAYS be a notification showing for the app. This is a very shady app and I am deleting it.

After completing the referral part they only paid out the first 3. But not for the $100 voucher! And upon contacting them they say you only completed a certain amount but I have pictures I’ve sent them proving that on the app it said congratulations you completed $100 Amazon voucher! I’m not the only one this has happened to many of my 62k plus followers on social media have been dealing with this issue! Do not fall into their scams!

Read the reviews! People are paying for hotels and then not allowed to stay in them. My issue is with their referral system and customer service. They won't send you your Amazon Referrals which amount to over $100 and they send responses for the public too see, but those are fake to. I connected them per their response so that they can fix my issue but instead of replying they marked my case closed and didn't respond. Keep clear from this company!

A couple WEEKS ago I referred more than 15 people and it said that I would get a $50 amazon gift card voucher and when I waited over 1 month I NEVER got it!! I emailed them saying I never got it and they said they only gave me a $5 amazon gift card which I wanted a $50 amazon gift card but never gave me it!! Scammers do not trust this app because I never received it.

I had reached out to customer service and they claimed they were looking into my issue over a week ago, no luck. I have had so many referrals and never received any gift cards. I’m leaving one star just to write the review but the customer service is terrible and you are promised rewards that you will not receive. They lure you in with promotions and coupons and referral bonuses that you literally are forbidden from using. Cyber monday deal was “book a room under $25 and get a $25 amazon gift card,” which would be great except that the only property they have with rooms that cheap says “that coupon is not valid with given coupon group” no matter what you do, and their help line employees literally hang up on you the second you call and ask about it. You will not find worse hotels than oyo, they are the dirtiest motels in town and in a state of disrepair so laughable that i am shocked that they have not been condemned yet. The awning for the pool fell on to the deck, it’s just chilling as a pile of rubble. Someone broke into the pool chemicals room and they never fixed the door, the laundry room has the windows smashed out, and there are homeless drug dealers doing business out of the ice machine room. Avoid this sham foreign company at all costs.

every time i try to sign up, it asks for my phone number so it’ll send an OTP to verify (which is normal), but every time i put in my number i have to wait 2 hours for the code to actually come to my phone. i’ve even tried doing it on my laptop, that way i wouldn’t lose my sign up page.. still didn’t work :( please help!

On the august 17th me and my friend rented the room and it was spectacular! We decided to extend until the 20th because of all the hotels trinity in Texarkana is the best!! Room was very clean, the bed was to die for, I literally slept like a baby!! I will book again as im sure they will fix my room and act accordingly to getting us into a new room.I’m having some problems with room 220 and condensation of the of air conditioner no phone and toilet doesn’t flush properly at all which I addressed yesterday around 3pm when we checked in through the oyo app. but other than this time which I’m sure they will fix, I will then give another five star rating

I booked 3rooms in OYO hotel in Bijāpur, Karnataka, India (Oyo capital Meridian)for my parents and family. Booking was confirmed and everything was paid online. After my parents reaching the hotel they were told they won’t get rooms since we have paid it online. Then i talked to OYO customer service and they suggested me to move to different property (Oyo Basava Residency) and we accepted it. After my parents reached the other property, same issue here also. Here also property owner denied to give rooms. He asked us to pay the amount in the hotel and then we will get the rooms. Again they asked us the price 25% more than what we booked for. I called to customer service and they told they will refund the amount which I paid but it will take around 7 to 14 working days. Is this the experience you guys provide? I booked 3rooms for family and I was not traveling with them. Aged parents were waiting outside the hotel without getting the rooms. I spent one whole day talking with your customer service team. There is no way to talk to higher authorities. Even Though i booked the rooms and got confirmation I didn’t get rooms and now I need to wait for 7 to 14 days to get back my money. I lost my time &amp; peace of mind. Who will bear this loss? I would like to thank Oyo for all this loss and nightmare experience. I’ll never again book any rooms through Oyo.

If it weren’t for the night crew consisting of the two girls that work the front desk at night and the young ladies that clean up the rooms this place would have been my worst customer service experience. The hot water is a first come first serve and that alone will ruin the end of your day alone. The facility is getting a face lift and the price of the room is discounted for that reason and was well understood before purchasing the room but the horrible customer service I just don’t get. Refacing or remodeling a business is always a bold step and is a good move to keep up your quality and maintain a good customer base which throws me a huge curve as to why you would employ anyone with no customer service experience or better yet make the only employees that had any work the night shift and clean the rooms. They need to be running your business.

Booked a hotel room for July 4th in Branson. Unfortunately this app/company over booked rooms. I spent most of the day trying to find out where I was staying because they kept forwarding my reservation to a different hotel that also had no rooms. I was told someone from Costa Rica would call me to let me know what hotel I’d be staying at... I ended up calling back multiple times because no one called me! At 9pm on the night of check in I still have zero idea where I’d be staying. I was told wrong multi times &amp; alot of time just trying to get through to someone (call center not in US). A 11:00pm a room was finally found for me BUT it would be an up charge.. are you kidding me?? I ended up wasting a whole day trying to figure out where my room was to not actually have one. Had to sleep in my car. Garbage service!! Will never use again.

I would have given 0 review if I can. I booked a room for my family in India from US and it doesn’t even show up in my bookings list on oyo app. I tried calling Indian customer service to cancel the room for one day but was not able to reach them from USA. When I called the US customer service, they asked me to call Indian customer service. Worst service I have ever seen. I chatted with them a lot of times, and no one resolved my issue. If you guys are not able to cancel the bookings that are booked from USA, then you shouldn’t allow a user to book a room from other countries too.

Expect a six hour delay between making your payment and the booking coming through on your room. Get ready to pay a second time for the same night. The staff is exceptionally but they can do nothing to fix it. Your only recourse is to call India where an unpleasant experience awaits you. I like the people here so I’ve endured this hassle multiple times. I can’t imagine making a booking while coming to the hotel late at night and being told that your booking does not show up. Ick!

I stayed in a Knight’s Inn that was bought by OYO. The hotel was nice so I downloaded the app. I tried to use the app the book a room the next night. The app said $29 but they were going to charge me $79 for the room! Plus, I’ve had the app for 3 days and have gotten 12 notifications about irrelevant “offers” and when you close the app after clearing the notifications they send you another one so there will ALWAYS be a notification showing for the app. This is a very shady app and I am deleting it.

I had reached out to customer service and they claimed they were looking into my issue over a week ago, no luck. I have had so many referrals and never received any gift cards. I’m leaving one star just to write the review but the customer service is terrible and you are promised rewards that you will not receive. I wasted too much time referring others and I feel like my rewards now expired due to the lack of customer service response. I do not recommend this company.

1. Booked a hotel in Agra, but they did not accept our booking because we paid online. Their excuse was that “OYO has not paid them past amount.” 2. Their initial sign up OYO money is scam. They have very clever terms and conditions because of which we cannot use OYO money to book hotel. 3. If you book through OYO app just because you got great deal and want to take risk of being denied by hotels, I suggest pay at the hotel rather than paying through OYO app.

I am an OYO user since 3 years and their service was too good. Since 6 months I am facing a lot of trouble whenever I book hotel with them, the property owner always denies check-in or I have to pay extra money. Recently I made payment to oyo and I didn’t get the room and I am facing a lot of trouble for the refund of 1660 rupees. I have registered grievances and will go to court if necessary. Do not use this app always book with goibibo.

I booked a room at Guruvayur(Kerala) using OYO, and I got confirmation from OYO as well. But When I reached there by 10pm with family including 2 children, the hotel receptionist told that we won’t get rooms as they have stopped accepting bookings with OYO, as they haven’t received multiple payments from this. The hotel management asked double payment for new room booking. This was terrific. We managed to get another room in an another hotel. I won’t advice anyone to use OYO for booking hotels

I made a booking with OYO and I paid through the OYO app $79 for two days. When I got to the hotel they required a $100 deposit. I went and I explain to the front desk that I don’t have it additional hundred dollars to give them. The manager said well you’re going to have to go ahead and cancel your reservation not giving me a chance to say how soon can you get the deposit to me cancel your reservation sir. What he didn’t tell me was when I canceled the reservation I would not be refunded the $79. It’s been two days of back-and-forth with the OYO customer service people. they got my money they don’t care. Telling me their policy’s what it is and they have to stand by it. So they have taken my money and refuse to listen to reason

Never trust the reviews for hotels and worst customer service. Please avoid OYO as much as possible. Got into a 3-star hotel and they had serious hygiene issues. Bloody sheets, smelly rooms, dirty toilets just chaos. I checked out immediately and haven’t received my 9742 rupees of my refund. Called customer service 5-6 times and got escalated 4 times. Provide alternate contact numbers they are not calling me or processing the refund. PLEASE AVOID OYO AT ALL COST. Suing them for all inconvenience caused. This is not acceptable service.

I download their company app per the suggestion of one of their employees. I went on the app today and saw that they had rooms available for $29. I reserved it and the hotel at 3100 Cloverfield Pkwy said that they will have to charge me at least $49. That is bad advertising and unacceptable because unfortunately I did not have the additional money. Shame on yall!!!

I booked a room through OYO and paid before check-in, but the hotel denied the check in saying OYO is not paying the hotel, i tried to call the customer support but tgey put me on hold for almost 15 minutes saying all the executives are busy. I lost my money and i also I had to search for another hotel.

Was once a pretty good app, now it’s full of fleabag hotels with zero customer support. My last trip was a week ago, I paid in advance only to find a filthy room with no internet. No response from multiple attempts to contact customer service. Too big too fast. Don’t use this app unless you’re fond of roach infested rat holes.

This app is HORRIBLE!! Theres no way to even search for a room on it, its like 1/2 the app doesn’t even show up on screen. No way to modify anything on it. I installed it 3 different times thinking there was a glitch downloading app but it still doesn’t seem to be working. Total waste of time.

Rooms are quite dirty with unresponsive and ignorant staff and support people. Some of Oyos don’t allow international guests to stay at their accommodation. But this is not at all mentioned in the app when you book the room. It’s basically, and literally, only BED which is quite dirty with stains all over the bed sheet and pillow. Not recommended at all.
