It’s a scam
by OriginalWarthog on 2019/11/17 07:35
Like the first guy who reviewed this said... it’s set-up to try and fool you into buying the app. Just put a price on it and if it’s any good someone will buy it and if it works they will give you a great review and then more people will buy it. Using links that try to trick you in to buying it is just plain stupid.
No good
by JonMast on 2019/11/03 10:16
This developer should almost be punished for false advertising, IMO. They let you download it for free, but then there is no way to get past the pop-up screen offering a 50% discount on buying the premium version. I can’t even get into the supposedly free app to use it. If you need people to pay for the app before they use it then put a price on it in the App Store. Be honest, instead of trying to sneak a price in the back door, so to speak. Response: Maybe you need to look into that. There was no button or link for me to select. Or maybe it was just a fluke that only happened with my device.

Crazy annoying ads

Super aggressive ads, super annoying, will drive you crazy at the moment you open app
Not convenient, save time and use different app.
by Alone/ on 2018/01/26 09:18
Takes about 15 seconds to start the app. Then plays a 30 second ad. 2 minutes into actually using the app, another 30 second ad. Uninstalled and downloading a different one.
Aggressive Ads
by Paisleyfrog on 2018/01/24 02:40
Can’t really tell about the relative usefulness of the app, as two full-video ads popped up within the first two minutes of (trying) to use it. Ten dollars to go ad free? Delete. It’s pretty, though, which is why it’s not 1 star.
Crazy loud ads and inaccurate meter

In a very loud room and the app showed the room to be 35-50 DB It ran a lot of ads that were crazy loud. Delete
Noise Meter
by Rickd248 on 2016/09/21 01:37
This is a complete ripoff. You can't do anything for all the ads popping up. Getting rid of the ads costs $10 and switching to a digital meter is another $10. It's not worth it.
Worthless

Can not get a reading over 5db
Wrong value
by Taken too on 2015/10/17 21:05
Shows unreasonably low noise level of 5 db when other meters give 50.
Worthless junk
by sniffelz on 2015/06/02 01:37
Compared head on against two other free meters on the App Store. -Inaccurate by 20db -No way to save tests except screenshot -No way to calibrate -Ads up the wazoo!
Handy in a "Productive" way..
by FPPMEDIA on 2015/05/23 22:19
I use it to average out ambient/environmental sounds when I film video outdoor cooking shows and the speaker's voice needs to be very prominent in the final recording, so I manage my input mix using this app on an IPad Air 2. I am not a scientist so I don't know how accurate it is.. But it is very useful in a real way.
