If you’re interested in receiving a daily dosage of knowledge, Brilliance is for YOU! This app ranges from analytical science to applied mathematics. Great way to spend idle time. Those who have a love for learning and keeping their “wits” about them will thoroughly enjoy what this app has to offer.
Fun and challenging yet pricey.
by Eitan Feldman on 2019/11/28 16:52
The exercises are engaging, well explained and well thought out. Unfortunately, it’s $120 for a year, which is prohibitive for many.
Serious fun - forget crossword puzzles
by plant notes on 2019/11/26 11:20
If you like short, daily challenges that are more math, science, logic oriented, Brilliant is analogous to daily crosswords. Moreover, for those that need sharpening via byte-sized practice on a daily basis, this is it. My only wish would be links to explanatory content from individual problems for principles in Khan Academy or other sources such as, "Stuck? Need ideas? Check out these resources."

Price entry is exclusionary
by K. Duffy Jr on 2019/11/21 15:42
Product looks great and from the the trail is great. The elitist pricing options not very good. If the pricing changed to be easier to try out for a few months be for buying a $100 membership that would make this product more inviting... It is to hard pony up $25 a month to try it out when the year membership is just over a hundred and a week is not a long enough trial period... Instead of a week trial they should do a introductory 3 or 6 months membership.

Can't get enough
by Ann94832 on 2019/11/06 05:24
I absolutely love this app. It reignited my passion for math and the world of numbers. It teaches in a wonderful fashion that lets you figure it out at your own speed and learn nonchalantly, as some learning should be. It integrates math and science into my daily routine of social media and texting, hopefully one day replacing the latter two completely! Unfortunately I am heartbroken by the price. I would pay it in a millisecond but I simply am a self sufficient student and I don't have extra funds. Despite this, I would recommend this app to anyone with a burning curiosity pertaining to the wonders of the universe and its intricacies :)

by AloPlata on 2019/11/05 15:09
This App is my favorite app on my phone. It makes complicated topics simple to understand. I had to learn about Quantum Computing for work and all of the resources were overwhelming. Brilliant broke it down in a way that made me look like an expert to my peers in a matter of days! The challenges are fun and I can’t wait to see some of the courses that are coming soon. The meaningful time spent on this app outweighs all of time wasted on social media and games.
Really great!

Rushed to market
by evanman321 on 2019/10/16 22:28
Many of the explanations for their problems are incomplete, and are clearly rushed through (and checked over) by people who already have a thorough understanding of the subject. This leaves the hopeful learner often stuck- wondering how to get from a->b. It’s discouraging, because the app is a great idea overall and it does eventually work. With the help of intense googling the explanations make sense in the end. However, because of this- it’s just not a finished product yet. It shouldn’t be on the market, at least for paying customers, when so much must be supplemented elsewhere due to a lack of due diligence on the part of the devs. The devs should focus more on testing their product to make sure it’s able to teach people and less on advertising all over the universe. Good products sell themselves. This is not yet a good product and they clearly lean into over advertising to compensate.
Very neat app
by bw2356 on 2019/10/14 00:04
I love this app. I’m doing the logic lessons and they’re fun. A couple issues: sometimes I have to click buttons twice for them to work. Also I find the navigation disorienting sometimes. When I go to “show explanation” and then hit close I end up somewhere else than I thought I would go. And when I leave the app and come back it’s hard to find where I left off.

Good Way to Continue Learning
by HughAckerman on 2019/10/09 06:13
The app presents some interesting scenarios and problems that I would not have encountered otherwise. I’d like to see a physical book of these problems at some point, a la Logitica (If you enjoy this app, check that out for some more puzzles and problems). While the app is good, and I may well be in the minority, I think I retain information better when it doesn’t come from a phone.

Good but not great and definitely not worth paying for
by calvinbrodice on 2019/10/03 14:58
Good but not great and definitely not worth paying for. Too much bait and switch. For me to pay for something like this, the content better be perfect. This is far from perfect. Too much is assumed about the learner. Additionally, they app and web site are well design and look pretty but after using the product on and off for two years I can say with confidence that pretty/slick design does nothing to enhance learning. I guess what I mean is this app is basically Wikipedia in condensed form, with a layer of sugar on top to make it go down easier.

I’ve only used the product for a few days so far and I already love it. But I I chose the yearly plan instead of the monthly plan. And I don’t have that type of money. Great explanations
by Super gameee on 2019/01/20 17:46
I downloaded this app mainly out of curiosity. I’m already well versed in quantum mechanics and I was simply curious to see how well they expressed the subject’s nature and quirks. They explained many subjects with astonishing perspective and accuracy. I can only imagine how well they explain the other courses such as calculus and logic. If you lack a sufficiently competent professor, this app will help you out in a pinch. Even if you’re already familiar on things like mathematics and physics, there is always something new to learn on this app. The memberships are set at a great price and the visuals pop and express perfectly the matter at hand. I just wish there was an offline version for whenever I’m on a plane or such. Cheers!
Great learning platform, limited variety of learning methods
by That one guy on the Internet on 2019/04/15 13:08
I personally am more fond of listening to lectures than reading a lesson on my own, and because of this I sometimes can find myself mindlessly grazing over a lesson without truly learning it (yeah yeah, I’m in a minority I get it)... But unfortunately, for the week or so I’ve had the app I haven’t found a lesson which has an auditory option or something that fashion. I fully understand how insignificant this problem may seem, but with a $100 annual payment I would expect my money to be going to a learning platform which can cater to my specific learning style, perhaps with a 10 minute in-depth explanation on a topic or even a whole lesson if I my attention is divided (for example if I wanted to listen to a lesson on my way to work). Other than this minor problem I’ve experienced with the app, I have enjoyed the engaging lessons and in-depth explanations. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, especially if the visual examples and written lessons are the way you personally prefer to learn. Although for those of us who prefer an auditory method of learning it can be difficult to fully take in the information in an easily digestible way. 4/5, needs more lessons in my opinion (more are coming so it’s not a terrible problem) and a way to keep learners of all styles engaged in every lesson. Great app :)
Fallacies Discovered in First Two Minutes
by Brock Zekany on 2018/12/25 07:05
App claimed the International Space Station (ISS) is ‘weightless.’ This is a slightly erroneous term but usually a forgivable mistake, if uttered by a layperson. However, as this is an educational app, I believe it should be held to higher standards and user proper rhetoric. Honestly, I am greatly disappointed because I was excited to learn some new trivia! It is a great injustice that this app is propagating slightly skewed information. I would find it a better exercise to fully explain the idea rather than hastily throw out a common misnomer, which even further normalizes this incorrect sentiment. Knowing that people who are not already well-verses in physics would probably not recognize this mistake makes it an even more egregious error! I am fed up with the educational system opting out of truly explaining difficult subjects. There is this trend of substituting them with slightly incorrect, water-downed, and much easier to explain versions of the true problem statement. The responsibility should lie within the institution to face this challenges comprehensively, so that we can build a model for the general public that cohesively explains such difficult subject matter.
Good, but not upfront
by Fatima baji on 2019/03/18 16:26
I really enjoyed the mini quizzes, though I didn’t understand some of the material I still gained a lot of information in some of the explanations. My *only* complaints are: try not to be so vague on some founding principles if at the beginning of the course if it says “Not to worry! You’ll learn about it in chapter so and so...’’ but then don’t explain the fundamentals if the course is for absolutely beginners? 🙄🙄🙄 Secondly, let us know we have to pay for the course before hand! Please let that be included at least in the introductory section, gave an option to buy the full package. Really took me by surprise, I’m sure others as well. Otherwise I really enjoy the app. I’m going to buy it only because I have no doubt it would greatly improve my understanding and comprehension of material. Thank you all for developing and writing the content of this app.
Definetly worth getting
by TBuber on 2019/03/20 03:20
I would definitely recommend this app (great job on the appearance of the app by the way. I like how simple it is.), because I love this style of learning. I have been using it for a few weeks now to understand Algebra concepts better, and it’s been working pretty well. I love how fun and interactive the quizzes are, and I love how you can just jump around and look at a whole load of different subjects without having to level up or something too. Now, I have given this review 4 stars though, because I find some of the explanations too complicated or lacking in clarity. Overall though, it’s a great learning tool, but for some of the subjects I feel it’s better to learn it the old fashioned way and then use Brilliant to really clarify your understanding and anchor down your skills once and for all!!!

That should be the real tag line, "Math and physical and computer science only" because apparently the developer either knew nothing about biological and chemical science or they didn't have any friends to help them with this part of the app. There is no mention of chemistry, organic chemistry (which I argue is harder than many of the courses in there now), molecular biology, or any of the myriad of advanced or beginner subject that may fall under those broad headings. I downloaded the app hoping to use it for some study help worth some masters courses in molecular biology but, nope...computational biology is as close as it gets and that is really just a programmer course for people that can speak Python or some other language. If they can get some of these subjects added I will definitely be back, I like the look and feel of the app. So, good luck and let's hop to boys, let's get those subjects added and the future biochemist learning!!
Bravo to brilliant’s self-serving UX and bad customer support
by CicyChen2018 on 2018/11/02 19:33
Update: I received the refund. Thanks! I wish the process would be much easier. Modifying the rating from one to three. Original: I signed up for a monthly subscription since there is only a few courses I’m interested in. After I finished the course, I set a schedule to cancel the subscription before it renewed. I thought I canceled it because it asked me why I canceled and I selected my reason. I thought that’s it. To my surprise, they charged again. I went in and realized that the subscription is not cancelled because they hide the cancellation button at the very bottom of the page after you selected the reason so I didn’t successfully cancel it Lol. Well, I get it — you want to retain your user. But if a user does not want to use your product anymore, what’s the point of making the cancelation process so difficult. It felt like I was tricked. And customer support refused to refund due to internal policy even though I wasn’t using it at all - check your statistics please. So for those of you who only find a few courses interesting, make sure when you cancel, scroll to the bottom of every single page. Otherwise, they will say it’s users fault.
Great resource - Room for improvement
by csmithstack on 2018/12/29 13:04
These courses are very helpful. That said, the usefulness of the app (and even its fuller-featured web version) would be greatly improved with a few added features. In particular, I often find myself wishing I had the ability to “bookmark” difficult problems in a quiz so that I could easily track which concepts I need to work on and return to them at a later date to do so. This could go hand-in-hand with an improved dashboard page that gave a more granular view of my progress through the various courses. (As is, it just displays a progress bar for each category, with no further breakdown.) Beyond that, I’ve been quite happy with the app.
Nice app, yet lean on learning
by Gamerrz247n on 2018/11/14 21:52
I subscribed to this service to refresh my memory on some fundamental concepts while also exposing myself to new areas of knowledge. Needless to say, this app is well-designed and flashy. The illustrations and user-interface are intuitive and engaging. However, this app lacks a lot with regards to pedagogy. While the brief lessons allow for quick consumption on-the-go, I think the superficiality of the explanations, examples, and exercises leads to shallow learning. If there were a practice/review tool that utilized a spaced-repetition learning model, I might feel more satisfied with my learning progress. In short, don’t expect the same learning outcomes from this app as you would from a more intensive course.
Well done, not worth the money for me
by Willtheawesome on 2019/07/18 02:16
I really liked the lessons that I did. Sometimes with things like this it is difficult to strike a balance between childishly easy and face desk hard. However this kept me engaged and I was able to learn to think through the problems for myself. However to me it is not worth paying $120 a year, especially as this is just a thing I do in a five minute break. I would rather do Khan Academy for five minutes and that’s also free. I would definitely use this app if there was a full version driven by ad revenue that didn’t require payment. Ads are annoying to most people but I don’t mind if the product provides value to my life.
Puzzles, Learning, & Fun
by micah@jtrumpower on 2019/06/09 12:48
These puzzles are amazing! The app starts you off with small, simple exercises and puzzles. But not so diminutive that they’re boring. Then, you progress to more exciting and intricate puzzles; all the while learning, and immediately exercising what you just learned. And the most awesome part, if you don’t understand why something is the way it is, there’s a down to earth explanation - complete with descriptions, pictures, and gifs. You can’t help but learn, and the fun makes you never want to stop learning. If you are a lifelong learner, you will love this app!!!
Amazing App (For those with time and interest)
by Ljvvvb on 2019/05/09 16:59
This app has amazing courses, some of the courses have a better explanation than others. For example, the logic course is amazing and very useful, in the other hand calculus done right needs a little improvement because the way they explain some key concepts are rushed and fussy. However, you will enjoy it and learn from it. I would recommend it to those who are into math, science and want to improve their knowledge on the matters. Don’t buy if you don’t have time, I bought the year subscription but I’ve only used it for the time gaps that I have between college terms, so consider time!
DO NOT BUY MORE THAN A MONTH
by mateomoore on 2018/09/21 21:43
Don’t sign up for a year before you try the paid content! I found that the content was VERY poor in some places, including outright errors in the paid content. For example, I was given an explanation to a puzzle where all dragons had red eyes (as opposed to blue eyes) and the solution said one of them has blue eyes. The solution was also worded so poorly I had to read it four times to understand what they meant even. For reference, I am an experienced attorney - logic problems and reading do not come hard for me. I signed up for the yearly program with the expectation from the free content that what was in the paid content would be on par, but it was majorly inferior. Additionally, the mobile experience was poorly conceived and functioned intermittently. A complete disappointment. I asked to cancel after a couple of hours into the monthly/1 year signup and they refused, asking me to find a way to enjoy the next 364 more days of this horrible app. F- for customer service. Shameful. So try it if you like, but don’t sign up for more than a month until you get to see the app for the below-standard work that it is... or at least to know you like it.
Brilliant is AWESOME!!!🤓😜🤓
by Nerdy Daniel on 2019/06/24 17:14
It’s really worth downloading!!! So many subjects, explanations, information, and more!!! Best app for smart people and nerds🤓 (not that nerds are bad. It’s actually 😎 being one!!!). The only 2 things that I would like added and changed is something about biology and have all subjects being usable. But that will never happen because I know app makers need money. Really worth downloading!!! I’m 11 years old and it’s summer vacation right now. If you’re a nerd like me and enjoy learning about cool, new stuff, then download this app and spend a part of the day getting ready for middle school and learning new stuff!!! ❤️ this app!!!
Neat I guess but not even a little bit worth the subscription costs
by C1!2@ on 2019/06/02 22:27
I get it, it’s in the small print. A good app shouldn’t have to rely on a “gotcha” that someone’s *technically* agreed to, to maintain a user base. A good app should motivate the users to renew voluntarily. If you’ve got a good app that people like, you won’t have to worry about it. Cancelling the Premium account requires what felt like 10 confirmation pages, which is frankly pathetic and petty. There aren’t really lessons, just exercises pretending to be lessons. They’re difficult but not impossible, and genuinely interesting. But it ends there - they’re just “interesting.” The lessons are ultimately cursory explorations of each topic with no real goal for mastering the material. It was enriching, but not practically useful. Enriching is good, enriching is its own good. But simply “enriching” isn’t worth $120 every year, and it certainly isn’t worth $25 every month. There’s better, more in-depth materials out there that’re either cheaper or free. Why pay so much to just know things about things, instead of actually *knowing* the things? If you can afford $600 for the lifetime subscription literally just go [back to] college.
What I always wanted
by Narriaga on 2019/02/09 16:28
I love the math and logic games. I didn’t have great math training growing up but math intrigued me. Over the years learned I am a very logical person. Then I started to improve my math skills with Khan academy etc. I like to play games very much but certain games like chess or simcity buildit. Then I opened this app the other day and was blown aways. The lessons here are soo interesting and mentally stimulating. It is like going on a mental adventure, readying a mystery novel, and playing an exciting and relaxing games. I can apply these skills to my life. My mind feels woke now. Thank you.
Great For All Ages/Levels
by Sedesy on 2017/12/31 20:35
Brilliant is a wonderful app that promotes deeper understanding of both simple and complex subjects. As a college STEM student, there isn't enough time to spend on fundamentally understanding every concept and learning the practical applications at the same time. Often, more emphasis is put on practical applications, which results in a lack of fundamental understanding later in life as I've experienced. Supplementing a STEM education with Brilliant has been an awesome experience and I always look forward to the weekly challenge problems!
Why so expensive?
by juszplayiin on 2019/07/24 00:43
I do love the app. However, the premium version is way too expensive and it’s unnecessary. Why put education out of people’s reach? As for what you get for free—I give 5 five stars because its; fun, educational and entertaining. But, I want to use the site for learning whole subjects from the bottom up, I’m too old and have too much student debt to go back to college. I wish it were more accesible to people like me who look for things like this because it’s fun and structured and is public knowledge anyways... I’m just saying we aren’t all capable of the prices we’d pay if we could. Please consider lower premium prices.
Problem Solving with a Great Community
by A Studious Student on 2018/04/11 00:06
Brilliant means “an inspired idea,” and that’s exactly what Brilliant is. The whole point of the app is to learn how to solve problems; using principles of science, math, and logic, you’ll be guided through lessons on all sorts of fascinating concepts. Grasp probability! Learn about the cosmos! Solve the weekly problem set! Best of all, Brilliant has a community full of brilliant minds who will help you understand solutions and why they work. If an answer doesn’t make sense, discuss the solution and see why it’s true. You never know what you’re going to learn!
Promoting questions and deeper thought
by 2kEdgy on 2018/07/12 19:02
This app does a great job at keeping your STEM thinking skills active. The questions of the day really challenge thoughts and the fact that there’s a community behind these gives it a more competitive yet friendly feel to it. The mini subjects that you can learn are also very engaging. I thought the premium membership price was too much but once I budgeted to pay for it I thanked myself later. Don’t sleep on this app if you want to keep exercising your mind!
Great brain exercise
by DonnaInMN on 2018/05/06 18:13
Now retired from a profession that generally used only basic math, I haven’t had to utilize higher level mathematical reasoning in many years. I am absolutely enjoying Brilliant’s problem-solving quizzes, even though it sometimes takes me a while to figure them out and I make mistakes. The challenges are fun — if a bit frustrating — and more gratifying than some mindless activity. I definitely recommend Brilliant to anyone who wants to keep her/his mind active... especially retirees!
Fun and useful
by Wheb11 on 2019/06/11 21:14
Haven’t always enjoyed these types of subjects but aspired to understand them. The hundreds of games/questions are short, organized and fairly diverse. The solution explanations are consistently simple and clear. I bought the lifetime subscription and can tell I’m improving by just playing around a few minutes a day waiting for the train. Plus I appreciate the multiple places to give optional feedback in-app; thanks for continuing to improve your product!
Excellent App, though not enough CS contents
by Jazon Jiao on 2019/01/08 18:20
I’ve been using Brilliant for exactly a year now, and have solved more than 8000 problems by now. Brilliant really changed the way I learn math, and many courses are particularly well-written. I also like that they’re supporting many science YouTubers. However, I sometimes complain that the CS courses here are relatively shallow, and new courses have been slow to develop (the advanced algorithms course and the Python course, for example). Also, the app seems to take up a lot of memory on my phone and occasionally causes it to black out.
Brilliant.. nuff said
by EEhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy on 2018/11/05 18:06
Brilliant is well.. brilliant. It’s structured so well. I love the way the app works. I love learning and this app is convenient and very effective! Plethora of interesting and helpful subjects. If I had the time, I’d take every course. The community is great. Problems are entertaining and highly effective at teaching. I’ve had no issues with answers or questions being hard to understand. Seriously, keep it up brilliant. Your writers and quality control are doing great. Please continue being awesome.
For Curious Minds and Lifelong learners
by AloPlata on 2019/11/05 15:09
This App is my favorite app on my phone.
So far so good!
by 0uroboro on 2019/03/30 18:50
I’m a few days in but this app has been very enjoyable! The daily quizzes provide new lessons and information in a fun and easy to understand way. The explanations are to the point. The user interaction is excellent and detailed. I would very much recommend this app for anyone wanting to learn a little bit more about the world around them and who want to exercise their brain more! And the daily quizzes are great for on the go learners!
A better resource for review
by App ReviewOr on 2019/06/14 10:49
I feel like this platform provides an education out of order. Each Course is a series of quizzes. While it does offer content AFTER each question there is no obvious way to review the content you are being tested on before the questions. The Practice section allows you to navigate to a Wiki section that seemingly covers the material in each course; however, I feel like that is what the course should be? This format backs each lesson into the content; I feel like the Wiki content should precede the quizzes? I’d compare the meat of this app to purchasing test questions with an answer key. Sure you can learn the content that way but then why go to class? There is also no easy way to review the material you were just quizzed on without retaking the quiz. Brilliant is more attuned for reviewing material you have already been exposed to. I was hoping for more.
Fun but activities are not that challenging
by JohnIsCoolAndHasFriends on 2018/09/22 20:40
The activities are fun and require active learning instead of passive learning (active learning is the only learning imo). The problem is that the content is shallow and does not go beyond what is given in the quizzes. I’d recommend asking harder questions that take some time to solve so that the learner thinks more deeply about what they are learning. With that said, it is a useful experience and I’d recommend it as a first stop for anyone looking to learn a subject that is covered in the app.
Micro-learning made easy
by Heatpapi on 2019/07/10 05:57
Your knowledge is constantly checked with immediate feedback which is very detailed but not extraneous. As a college-level aircraft maintenance math and physics instructor, I find the format and content detail to be just right. I also appreciate the discussion function which allows great minds to offer their own solution explanations which help if the original author’s explanation goes over your head.
Love math
by Nicknamezzzzzzzzzzzzzzz on 2018/03/15 01:06
I’m in eighth grade and I’m pretty new to this, but I’m trying to learn more complex math and this is really interesting and fun. I hope more kids get and enjoy this, even if it doesn’t seem to be the type of things normal children would enjoy. There is so much stuff and I’m exited to get the premium, but take this review with a grain of salt as I’m sure you can find a better review from someone who does have the premium.
Great App
by gomezdan15 on 2018/05/09 15:40
Initially i had an issue because i was charged for the entire year thinking it was a month to month payment option. I reached out to apple and they helped me out. Also, represtatives got back to me and explained the cause of the issue. The app is amazing and i catch myself on it for hour at times due to the variety of courses. Great app guys. I would love to see interactive functions in the future.
Amazing learning tool
by regrh on 2018/06/29 19:14
This tool is amazing for self-taught learners and students that want to enhance their critical thinking or mathematical ability, and supplement their academic course work. It’s amazing a resource like this available. The learning content is great people that designed the course work really put thought into every problem. Most problems are fun challenging and interesting. There should be more apps like this.
Big jumps in complexity
by Jdhshakkfhzshsjs on 2018/11/30 13:44
I’m terrible at math and know nothing about algebra, so I got this in the hopes of learning some algebra from the ground up. The problem is, the exercises immediately jump from really simple to so complex that even the explanations do nothing to help me understand the question. I think it must be geared more towards people who are already good with math and need a brush up. I dabbled into the computer science exercises and they were the same way. In short, a little more middle ground is needed for beginners like me.
Charged Twice (No response)
by benjamin-morales-perez on 2019/02/25 15:31
I was charged twice and have contacted support, I haven’t received a response(I checked my email and when I click sent it shows that I didn’t even send brilliant an email even though I did) . I paid for the annual subscription (which totaled to 102$ when I bought on a 20% discount). The app/website was still offering me premium which meant it didn’t go through(I assumed that it didn’t charge me). I bought it again without the discount(totaled to 120$) it went through this time but when I checked my bank account I realized I was charged twice( 102$ and 120$). Need my money back.
Big problem...
by ÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜÜ on 2018/07/02 06:32
I downloaded this app thinking that I could keep my brain going through summer vacation but there’s a big problem that other people haven’t mentioned in their reviews. This app doesn’t really teach you anything. For example: I wanted to learn more about astronomy so I chose that course. But when start the introduction thinking that it’ll teach me the basics, the app just assumes I know all of these equations and vocabulary words. I know this probably won’t get fixed anywhere in the near future or at all because it would mean adding in ALOT more stuff but, I just wanted to warn other people. <:)
A great experience.
by Eh11111 on 2019/10/01 11:56
I enjoy this app, I have been looking for a great source to learn math at my own pace and brilliant has been a great resource to pique my interest and expand my depth of knowledge of math, science, and the world around me. I am grateful to be apart of this community and recommend it to those who desire to have a platform that supports curiosity and the commitment to a higher level of learning in a self taught experience.
Be extremely careful about the subscription
by Prostgogogo on 2018/11/02 01:35
update: I received a refund from brilliant today. They can do this in the first place. I purchased this app for less than 1 month and cancel the subscription. But somehow their system doesn’t reflect. I didn’t realize this until found out they charge again. I contact them immediately, but it took so long for them to reply and they just refuse to refund. Customer service is very poor and won’t help at all.
Some of the descriptions could be better
by ChaseWindu on 2018/08/30 11:35
Been brushing up on CS fundamentals. I really like the course. Very easy to learn and understand. The illustrations for some of the algorithms, such as insertion sort, really made it easier to grasp the concepts at hand. It would be helpful for a lot more of the taught algorithms. One that comes to mind is the frog hop Fibonacci question in the recursion section. Some sort of illustration would definitely help illustrate how the described problem is a Fibonacci sequence
Great source of knowledge!
by Calliopean on 2018/08/15 17:03
I’m a high school student who loves to learn. Though I’ve found that my school does not teach everything I want to learn. However, this app does! Even if it’s not a course, they have wiki pages on just about anything. This app even helps me review for classes at school (and, ironically enough, is way better at explaining things than some of my teachers). Highly recommend!
It’s a phenomenal application!
by AmazonianMP on 2019/01/24 16:24
I’ve already recommended it to several friends and family members. I enjoy learning about these concepts some would claim to difficult to find entertaining. However, it does a great job breaking everything down into small bites of information and explaining them in layman’s terms. For a free app, this is truly a must have on any device.
Love this app
by Fvehjubde on 2019/05/28 14:36
The app is extremely polished and works like a charm, no Bugs or glitches to speak of, and the content itself is great. I love having interesting problems with well done and helpful explanations delivered to my phone daily at all times. Even without the paid subscription I highly recommend to everyone I know that likes puzzles and learning.
Fenomenal
by The Blue Coat on 2018/05/24 11:15
I usually don’t write reviews, but this game / logic based app has blown my mind. I may not play it everyday, but when I do play it, I never have difficulties finding what puzzle / problem I want to solve. The puzzles are in-depth (for some) and some of the problems have math to back it up. This is the best logic game / app I have seen yet! Thank you developers for making such an amazing game!!!
Amazing app, but at a price
by ac707 on 2018/07/05 16:19
Amazing app for learning and staying sharp on my knowledge. I have a BS in Physics and I really enjoy the weekly problems and ‘courses’ offered here. They refresh my studies and keep me sharp. Unfortunately the subscription price is high, but the product is great so it is justified. I have not yet signed on for premium but I still might. I would happily pay a one time price of $100 for it, but i am not yet sold to pay annually

This a very effective app for people wishing to understand the science and mathematics of the world. It explains scary complicated problems into intuitive step-by-step examples; highly recommended!!
Very informative game!

This is not yet a good product and they clearly lean into over advertising to compensate.

by bw2356 on 2019/10/14 00:04
I love this app.

Math and physical and computer science
by Doodlebear90 on 2019/04/03 02:07
That should be the real tag line, "Math and physical and computer science only" because apparently the developer either knew nothing about biological and chemical science or they didn't have any friends to help them with this part of the app.

Fenomenal
by The Blue Coat on 2018/05/24 11:15
I usually don’t write reviews, but this game / logic based app has blown my mind. I may not play it everyday, but when I do play it, I never have difficulties finding what puzzle / problem I want to solve. The puzzles are in-depth (for some) and some of the problems have math to back it up. This is the best logic game / app I have seen yet! Thank you developers for making such an amazing game!!!
