My main complaint is zoho’s mail servers block incoming email without sending a bounce or even placing it in your spam folder. The app is smooth flowing and works great. I really wish they would at least place blocked emails in spam, though. I’ve now been google free for a year.

I have been an MSN user for 20 years and was fed up with all my SPAM. I searched for a new email app to use. Zoho was rated high in my search as a free email. I have been well pleased. I had a couple of tech questions when were answered promptly and accurately. I did find that rather than merge my MSN to Zoho I have a forward rule on important messages. After using Zoho for 90 days have yet to receive my first SPAM. I also like the Newsletter feature which auto separates my subscriptions.

I’m using the free version, and I am very satisfied with this app and Zoho mail in general. There are a few more things I could use if I went with the paid version, but I can’t say anything bad about the experience I’ve had so far. A couple years in

I use Zoho for business so when I have to text people back to see if they received my emails and they tell me they did reply but it’s no where to be found, it makes for a very bad system to correspond through.

It seems I just have to look at a link in my email and it opens my default browser or app without me asking it too. I really hate this , its very interruptive. Is there a way to turn this off?

Worst email I have ever used. Could never get any answers out of customer service. And all I ever heard was there was another email that existed under my company that would allow me to upgrade. Giving me examples of emails that don’t exist. While I’m the owner and that’s not the answer. So I would definitely not recommend this for a business email.

If you turn your phone so you can see a larger version of your email it forces a right side menu in you so you’re stuck with the same tiny writing. It also never resets your email badge so most of the time it looks like I have dozens of new emails when I don’t have any.
Calendar is flawed

While I love Zohomail and it’s calendar feature on my MacBook and iPhone, I do not like it on my iPad. It simply will not keep Sunday as the first day of the week on my calendar. Even after I delete and reload the app, it only keeps it correct for a few days. I’ve contacted Zohomail and told them of my problem. They provided instructions to try and correct the issue but to no avail. I’m getting frustrated with what should be a simple fix. Hence the poor rating. Let’s get this figured out Zoho!!!

I have Gmail, outlook, Zoho and iCloud mail apps on my iPhone an Zoho is by far the best mobile app. It actually made me prefer the iPhone over the Galaxy. I don’t miss emails with Zoho.

No way to save attachment to files

Overall the app is good but I used to be able to attach files from the cloud when it was zoho docs. Now that it’s al merging to WorkDrive, the option to attach from that cloud based platform doesn’t exist. Hope you can fix that soon! It used to be a life saver to be able to easily function from my mobile device.

Also only deletes email with app open if you delete 5 emails swiping left and choosing delete one at a time then close the app the emails are still there when you open app like it has no ability to background function. Dont experience this issue with apple mail or outlook performing same functions.

Works but needs improvements

For the most part the app works well, fairly basic and fits my needs. I have only been using it for a few days and these are two items that need fix or improvement: 1. When an email body is long, like a newsletter, it’s truncated with a “see more” link at bottom. However, when clicking this link to read the rest of the email, the resulting text is so tiny it’s impossible to read. 2. In the Inbox (or other) list view, instead of saying “Me” it should show my name or nickname. I have several email addresses coming into the same inbox and always seeing “Me” doesn’t help distinguish which “me.”

This is a huge overlook. When signing up for email, you put in your telephone number. When you hit next it’s asking for the OTP code from an email account…except you only provided a telephone and you’re trying create a new email. I can’t believe the team overlooked something as simple as actually making sure the sign up process works correctly, and doesn’t ask for email verification…when you’re trying to create an email…

Disastrous Gross incompliance with App Store requirements

We have been a corporate user for over 5 years patiently waiting and I personally was understanding with the a non-Google size enterprise suite developer. The iPhone, when founder and many times CEO Steve Jobs was among us, was focused on one hand operations: Reach every corner by the thumb. In those days, simply ignoring the fact that iOS uses a swipe back feature from within an email in email clients, would be excusable. Taking some time to adapt to the new reality that the back-one-page virtual button is no longer in reach, needs a secondary “pointer” and is small and without outlined borders creates use-anxiety for mistaps, is also excusable. Having a buggy implementation for the swipe back when it is done is also excusable. But having the implementation done since we started with Zoho Mail 5 years ago, and not fixing the swipe back feature ever since in an enterprise product is simply unacceptable. To this day, you have to gamble to hit the back button, or get lucky and somehow trigger the back swipe from the left edge partly across towards the right edge to go back and see other emails. It’s so frustrating. I hate using the app. I absolutely hate it. It’s a fundamental UX feature in all half-decent iOS apps, and I am going to go up the food chain to have Apple step in, apps should not enter the App Store with fundamental bugs. Moving from iPhone 4 to 5 and further meant moving from an everything-within-reach concept to the back button not being in reach anymore. Apps since then, more than ever, have to be compliant with Apple’s guidelines on iOS apps with special attention to such UX fundamentals. I will wait another 90 days to see if an update and a bug fix will finally propagate for the app, if still no luck, the app will be reported to Apple with developers and an attorney in house properly pleading the Apple guidelines so that they will be enforced. Such fundamental failures in following UX guidelines and distributing apps with basic bugs is not acceptable in the App Store.

I’ve used Zoho for years; I appreciate the services; I choose it over other services. I’ve even read before that Zoho data collection is lower than others (obviously Google...!) But here on iOS you collect ALL the things and link it to the user. This just isn’t necessary; and as many people are learning is anti-consumer. I’m not leaving yet, but I’ll be studying and researching alternatives. UPDATE: Thanks, Developer(s) for the response and for the link to your Privacy Policy. I’ve read the entire thing now and it doesn’t answer my questions and concerns. Ultimately, my question is how will your Privacy Policy, practices, and data collection keep you competitive with the likes of Protonmail, Tutanota, Edison Mail, or even the default Apple Mail? They all collect MUCH less data than you, leading me to believe you’re collecting more than is actually needed to run a decent email app. Again, I do enjoy Zoho products and services. And I’ve been glad I chose it over Google however many years ago. The industry is moving and I’m hoping Zoho is able to move with it.
Soooo many bugs with attachments

The app has sooooo many bugs when you start dealing with adding attachments. I’ve typed up so many emails before. Even saved them to drafts to make sure they’re still in tact. But whenever I add an attachment it kills everything. My last email showed the entire body. And when I send the email, it send an empty email and just the attachment. This is not good for business. Very upsetting.

It’s good except contacts that you add doesn’t show up on the app like it does on a computer only those show up in app who emailed you or you emailed them. The contact button below in the app should take the user to the dedicated Address Book not just people who email you the most. It’s annoying as I will have to go on a computer anytime I’d want to retrieve a phone number or any other info I’ve saved

Zoho tech support helped fix a problem when a third party vendor corrupted their spam filter, introducing censorship based on political bias. This is now a big problem with many e-mail providers, so make sure your other e-mail services are also eliminating the censorship problem.

Zoho Mail has the following fairly basic bugs: 1. Double-sends the same email sometimes 2. Doesn’t send some emails at all 3. Cannot go to the right next email after you read and delete one (it should go to the one that arrived after the current one, not the one that arrived before this one) 4. Photo picker is broken if you decline photos access the first time you use it And many more. For an app that has been around for so many years these are very unfortunate issues.

I don’t think that the developers have spent much time debugging the website or apps. It seems like zoho has the makings of a nice email package, but it is very difficult to make any changes in settings. The only way to get changes to show up in the app is to delete it and download it again. The admin app just doesn’t seem to work at all. If you want to do anything you have to go back to the web. And then the results that show up in the email app are pretty random. I was really hoping for something much better.

This email is not user friendly. Wont load very well if at all without WiFi. Things need to be changed on it. It does not load pictures fast. If several pictures are added to an email it gets locked up. For some reason the Unread or All Emails Disappeared, gone! My outlook express email was so fast and simple. Easy and productive. I need something like that for my business. I’m hoping this gets better on sending emails from my phone.

Zoho said they would look into the errors I was receiving. They replied in emails I could not read. Every single email said (error 101). It was never fixed. I was forced to delete all Zoho MX records and redirect them. I’ve never seen such incompetence from any email. I do not recommend.

I hate how it randomly logs you out of all your accounts. I have about 20 emails and it’s takes forever to RE-login to everything. It happens maybe every 4 months... Otherwise, great app.

Been going downhill lately. Started having email issues. Decided to move from Zoho mail. When I did Zoho deleted my @Zoho.com email address which I’ve been using for years without warning. Support refused to re activate. Had to spend 4 hours changing the email for the accounts associated with the @zoho.com email.

If you planned on having a trustworthy professional business email for your business, don’t use Zoho, you cannot even have your profile picture show up when contacting people outside of zoho mail. Checked everywhere and this has been a huge issue for 7 years, with no plans of then fixing it, having no picture makes all emails look like spam and scam emails, thank you for wasting all of our time zoho. Disappointed

The app is great allowing you to log into multiple accounts something I haven’t been able to do on a desktop without logging out of one account into the other. It’s frustrating when you have a personal account and a general business account to monitor. Zoho do offer a lot of great apps within its platform which is great to integrate in your business. The downside is the minimum storage for emails & cost to increase the capacity which isn’t an issue with the likes of competitors. Also, the annual cost to add additional emails addresses gets costly. Minus those inconveniences there’s a lot to like when running a business.

I really dislike how emails are grouped together. No clear view of separate messages. Some emails don’t show in my inbox but are notifications. I have missed a lot of information due to this.

Have been using the email app for a while and it has been working very well. But when I updated to iOS 14.0-14.1 it doesn’t show when I move my email from inbox to another section. I have to reset it by pulling down and reloading it. Then it shows up. I hope this bug gets worked out soon.

I was a Gmail user from 2004 until now that I dare to switch and left behind Gmail for Zoho mail, what a difference, now I don’t receive spam emails, my inbox is clean and I switched all my accounts and notifications to Zoho mail. I am amazed with the product and the most important everything that I need is easy to do and configure, I can find any setup on the Zoho help or web site. Thank you Zoho Team.

Ive downloaded this app a few times over the years and always delete it. It just doesn't work and it would take 20 minutes to type out all the issues. I will go to the trouble of mentioning one though, not being able to add non-zoho email addresses is puzzling.

Overall fan of Zoho Mail, but recently have had issues: I will receive push notifications for emails, tap them to navigate to a given email, then once I am navigated into the app, the email does not populate in any inbox/newsletter/notification etc. This requires me to login to the web client on my laptop, which defeats the purpose of the app altogether. I have multiple email addresses so I am not clear when I receive an email which specific address it was delivered to. This adds time for me as I often have to search for an email within each individual email address as the “Search All Inboxes” function doesn’t work in-app either.. Hopefully this processing will get cleaned up. This happens when phone is connected to WiFi or not.
Fails in so many ways..

Sending with attachments is exasperating. Either it doesn’t bother to send the mail...or does and doesn’t record the sent email leaving me guessing did it or didn’t it, so I resend...then eventually go to another mail client asking the recipient if they received my emails, (so very smooth and professional). OR, and this is beyond irritating to both me for the amount of time I waste, and the recipients who end up with a pile of emails to wade thru....Zoho refuses to send emails with attachments in either the order attached, or duplicates an attachment during the sending while leaving off one, yet it is clear on my copy that I sent what I needed to send and Zoho Mail was the one who screwed up. So, in the end, when two emails would have sufficed for nine attachments, by the time I monkeyed around trying to figure out just how much this program could handle sending, three - no, two - no, ah, it must be one. S#1t, each attachment must be sent alone with the description. Lovely. For a long time this mail client has been an exercise in frustration for me, both in the difficulty in using as well as attempting to follow the online “help”. When initially setting up several years ago I needed to ask my son who has two degrees from MIT in Computers and is a successful software engineer. Even he found the whole setup convoluted and confusing.

I’ve used Zoho for years; I appreciate the services; I choose it over other services. I’ve even read before that Zoho data collection is lower than others (obviously Google...!) But here on iOS you collect ALL the things and link it to the user. This just isn’t necessary; and as many people are learning is anti-consumer. I’m not leaving yet, but I’ll be studying and researching alternatives. UPDATE: Thanks, Developer(s) for the response and for the link to your Privacy Policy. I’ve read the entire thing now and it doesn’t answer my questions and concerns. Ultimately, my question is how will your Privacy Policy, practices, and data collection keep you competitive with the likes of Protonmail, Tutanota, Edison Mail, or even the default Apple Mail? They all collect MUCH less data than you, leading me to believe you’re collecting more than is actually needed to run a decent email app. Again, I do enjoy Zoho products and services. And I’ve been glad I chose it over Google however many years ago. The industry is moving and I’m hoping Zoho is able to move with it.
Zoho Mail and Campaign Apps Not Connecting

Update: Zoho support responded but haven’t fixed issue. Going on 18 hours, now, of not being able to do anything with this app. Tomorrow I’m looking for a new provider if this issue isn’t fixed by then. Up til now, I’ve been pretty happy with Zoho but this is unacceptable! If you want to use Zoho for private email, it may not be an issue. But, to run a business and rely on Zoho? Better look at all options before deciding. In the past week, there are at least 2 others who wrote reviews here about this same problem. Something is up with Zoho! Have been using Zoho Mail for my business for several months without any issue. For the past 8 hours, I have not been able to sign on to Zoho Mail or Zoho Campaigns using the phone apps. Reinstalling the app did not resolve the problem. My account can be accessed using the phone’s Safari browser. No other apps on my phone are having problems. The issue appears to be with Zoho Accounts login process for the apps. I reported this problem several hours ago & have not gotten a response from Zoho support. This needs to be fixed ASAP or I will have to investigate moving my domain to a new email provider.
Calendar Invites - Need Notification in Email to Approve

The email folders are great and love that there are so many features. I just started using ZoHo and it has been one day so hope to post more reviews as I learn more. The calendar invites show as a feed in your chat. However, there is no email notification that prompts you to accept or decline the invite. Having invites automatically go into your calendar to accept or decline does not prompt you that there’s a new event. Please fix this feature to notify you in you inbox that a calendar event is created and needs your response to help identify new calendar invites versus your own agenda.

I had the same Yahoo small business (read: paid) email account for over 14 years and resisted switching for years. I finally did and wish I’d done it much, much sooner... Yahoo was impossible to deal with at the end. I was paying over $20 monthly and they began piling ads into my email list which was infuriating... ya know, since I was already paying. And when things weren’t working, it was virtually impossible to ever get ahold of any sort of customer service. With Zoho, they wrote me back in 24 hours. I now pay $7 a month for the top of the line pro account and, guess what, no ads! Side note: I downloaded all my old emails to a hard drive using Thunderbird. Look into it if you need to escape but are worried about losing your backlog of emails.
Responsive customer service

I have to say my experience with customer service has been phenomenal and refreshing. I had an issue with the app restarting when I was working on drafts and when I tried to reply to emails. When I notified customer service I expected an auto generated response. Instead, I received an acknowledgement of the issues, updates that it was being worked on, and a final email advising that the issue had been identified and the app had been updated. I was utterly shocked! I had no idea that this level of customer service still existed. I can honestly say I’ll be a lifetime customer.
Cannot send multiple BCC emails

This app works great except for one thing. I want to send the same email to a number of email addresses—not as a “group” where people join or unsubscribe, but simply to send individual emails to a lot of people at once. So I copy all the emails in proper format and paste them in the BCC. When I use the full Zoho website from a computer they are sent with no problem. But when I do the same thing using the Zoho iOS app, it says all these emails are an “invalid email address”. So I have to wait until I get to a computer to send emails with multiple BCC addresses. Please enable the app to do the same thing.

I’ve used two free email accounts, one for several years and the other for about two. During the past several months the older one has received notices of someone other than myself logging in even though I change the strong password frequently. The newer one sends duplicate mails and can’t log in to Apple Mail properly nor on my BlackBerry. Though the newer account would log in here, it would not send nor receive properly sometimes and archived mail could not be found. Hence I’m migrating all contacts out of those accounts in order to move on, and this app was the last straw. The webmail works fine except for the strange notices, but zoho has changed their privacy policy to one less user friendly in the past year or two so I’m outta here.

Best email service ever. I have yahoo and google there’s so much spam/junk ads from things I am not even remotely familiar or interested in. It’s mostly gmail. I spend more time unsubscribing to things i have no clue about than getting an actual email I care to or need to see. Not anymore with Zoho it’s only things I have given permission or my email to. Zoho’s my go to email service the rest are basically linking Facebook accounts etc.. my google has over 8,000 emails from the last 2-3 months. I’m rambling but zoho will keep u safe from all sorts of unwanted crap!
Works but needs improvements

For the most part the app works well, fairly basic and fits my needs. I have only been using it for a few days and these are two items that need fix or improvement: 1. When an email body is long, like a newsletter, it’s truncated with a “see more” link at bottom. However, when clicking this link to read the rest of the email, the resulting text is so tiny it’s impossible to read. 2. In the Inbox (or other) list view, instead of saying “Me” it should show my name or nickname. I have several email addresses coming into the same inbox and always seeing “Me” doesn’t help distinguish which “me.”

Zoho has a lot going for them and their users. Like many have said, Zoho is a better service for businesses than other competitors. Like any tech service you will run into problems and bugs, but Zoho has been very responsive and quick to help me through the issues that have arisen. The App still has a couple tiny issues here and there, but it’s functional. It does what it’s supposed to. I’ve used Zoho for a couple years or more now and I have no plans of changing that for years to come (hoping)! Keep up the good work, Zoho.

The app is great allowing you to log into multiple accounts something I haven’t been able to do on a desktop without logging out of one account into the other. It’s frustrating when you have a personal account and a general business account to monitor. Zoho do offer a lot of great apps within its platform which is great to integrate in your business. The downside is the minimum storage for emails & cost to increase the capacity which isn’t an issue with the likes of competitors. Also, the annual cost to add additional emails addresses gets costly. Minus those inconveniences there’s a lot to like when running a business.

Zoho is an overall great platform but the pesky detail where I can open an email on my computer, or another device and the notification doesn’t clear on apps is very annoying. As a person who clears notifications and promptly responds to emails I find myself constantly thinking I’ve missed an email only to open the app and find the emails open and cleared. Engineers please sync across platforms!!

I have been an MSN user for 20 years and was fed up with all my SPAM. I searched for a new email app to use. Zoho was rated high in my search as a free email. I have been well pleased. I had a couple of tech questions when were answered promptly and accurately. I did find that rather than merge my MSN to Zoho I have a forward rule on important messages. After using Zoho for 90 days have yet to receive my first SPAM. I also like the Newsletter feature which auto separates my subscriptions.

Since I can’t seem to get my zoho account working via the iOS email widget, I’ve had to resort to this awful app. The entire screen jitters as you type a message and is infuriating. When I copy an email address into the address bar that already has another address, it tells me that the address isn’t valid. When you switch to another app or, heaven forbid, answer a call while writing an email, forget about it. It’s gone. When you switch back it goes back to your inbox without even saving a draft. It’s 2019. An email app should be able to keep itself running in the background. On top of all that it’s quite sluggish. To the point that just deleting emails is a chore.

I have been using Zoho services for over 2years now and the value they bring is unbelievable. I begin as a true startup and now we are growing as a company and they provide the tools needed. Although there are A LOT of different services offered, at first it feels overbearing for a new guy. But believe me you become grateful overtime. What really brought me here is to provide my feedback on the Zoho mail app, simply phenomenal! I just hope Zoho does not become complacent. But as of now, the best system and app for ANY business person.

I’ve used many email clients over the years on many platforms. This is one of the best I have seen in terms of cohesion, usability, stability and functionality. I actually only use the email portions of the software and it has me thinking I should check out the other features. I just don’t really need them. But based just on the email, I’d imagine the rest of the system is just as good. This is a well done app the developers should be proud of.

Constantly shows deleted emails from last session; support is handled by bots andnot humans; whenever you get through to support you can tell machines are parsing the email because if you use college-level phrasing you get replies that make no sense, therefore, either it is AI doing the suport or third graders in some foreign country. Avoid this product for secure email; it has more holes than Swiss cheese and the interface is clunky and cumbersome in a Fisher Price kind of way. Read the developer responses; almost none of them address the issues. Fake tech support from another generic Big Tech company. The last dev response said something about my photos being safe - I SAID NOTHING ABOUT PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!

Very visually appealing interface but just fails in lots of big ways. Send an email with two attachments and chances are only one of them will deliver, maybe neither. This has made me look stupid more than a few times. Next is the randomness of disappearing emails. I get a notification about a new email and I open up the app to read the email and it’s not in my inbox???? This almost cost me a job offer because the company had an issue and needed my immediate response. Well that email came through and for some reason went to the notification folder. I had no idea it was there. Luckily I found it just in time to clear things up. Really important emails are being sent to folders that I didn’t want them to. Not good when I don’t have the time to dig through random folders and toggle different views just to pull up an unread email. Then to top it all off the app will just freeze up and crash. Update: Now the app is not displaying the number of new emails on the icon.

Zoho Email Service is top notch, I’ve been using it for over a year and it works great. The Zoho Mail Client is good and works fine as a client. The only issue I Have found so far is on the iPad when deleting an email. After viewing the email and deleting it you are left still viewing the deleted email. You have to manually select the next email to view. Seems like a small gripe but it bugs me to no end, so much so that I fund myself using the app less and less. Fix this one issue and I’ll be back to using it full time.

This app use to work just as you would expect an email app to work; customizable workspace, sleek and straightforward design, etc. However, since I have updated to the latest version of iOS, I can’t reply to any emails. The emails come into the appropriate Inbox, I can read them, but as soon as I hit Reply or Forward, I can not type into the body of the email. The keyboard is there, but it just stalls and freezes. I have re-downloaded the app, but I still have the same issue.

I was a Gmail user from 2004 until now that I dare to switch and left behind Gmail for Zoho mail, what a difference, now I don’t receive spam emails, my inbox is clean and I switched all my accounts and notifications to Zoho mail. I am amazed with the product and the most important everything that I need is easy to do and configure, I can find any setup on the Zoho help or web site. Thank you Zoho Team.
The mobile app is confusing

It’s good except contacts that you add doesn’t show up on the app like it does on a computer only those show up in app who emailed you or you emailed them. The contact button below in the app should take the user to the dedicated Address Book not just people who email you the most. It’s annoying as I will have to go on a computer anytime I’d want to retrieve a phone number or any other info I’ve saved

I’ve been using Zoho mail for about two years and love it. What initially attracted me was it’s ability to work with custom domains, and that it has Apple Watch support. There are some annoying bugs (such as mails not always deleting right away or the notification badge not going away) however. UI seems clean and performance is good, plus mobile works great with numerous Zoho mail accounts.

I don’t think that the developers have spent much time debugging the website or apps. It seems like zoho has the makings of a nice email package, but it is very difficult to make any changes in settings. The only way to get changes to show up in the app is to delete it and download it again. The admin app just doesn’t seem to work at all. If you want to do anything you have to go back to the web. And then the results that show up in the email app are pretty random. I was really hoping for something much better.

The app itself is not bad. I get my email there. However, after I read new emails the notification number stays on about half the time. I’m one of those people who clears all notifications - so this bugs me. I have to log out of the app and log back in. Also, the app put emails in strange folders like Notifications and Newsletters, but it wasn’t really accurate. It’s probably better to let the user decide (and I had to go on the desktop to adjust those folders).

Lots and lots of issues running the apps vs using the desktop version. App will crash EVERY song time you schedule an even in a team calendar. App also does not give you access to all of your calendars when you want to schedule an event in a particular calendar forcing you to go back to the web browser version. The obvious fix for this was to use Google Calendars instead.....except Zoho blocks all of the emails that would allow you to do so. Gave it 2 stars simply out of generosity. Don’t even get me started on Cliq.
Great app - but streams isn’t working

Really love using the app as opposed to native iOS mail app. Allows me to switch seamlessly between different accounts. Will upgrade to five stars once the streams function on mobile (iPhone and iPad app) works the same as desktop. Currently I am only showing one very old posting to the stream instead of the newest streams that have been added.

I had an issue regarding marking complete folder as and developers were quick to respond and suggested me a way to resolve this issue. This app definitely deserve 5 stars because of its simplicity, stability and support. I have issues in filtering spam with zoho. Since I am a gmail user which automatically filter spam so if zoho could provide any comparable automatic filter then zoho can easily beat gmail.

This app is not very user friendly. I regret changing over to it for some of my needs. Like how do I set up folders to file emails in? I tried something and ended up removing an email receipt, don’t know what happened to it. A lot of emails which are not spam go into the spam folder. Others go into a folder called notifications, still others go into one called newsletter, a real pain to check all these folders and hardly none go to the “inbox” folder. There’s no way to move emails around, either only delete them.

I checked out the Zoho Mail app. I love it when it has protection before you view the image. One problem is that I want to store some of the emails in folder but I'm unable to create one so that I can go back to review emails. I do not want archive because it felt like they're being ignored. Will you be able to add 'Create Folder' feature? Thanks.
Great Idea but app needs work

When typing on iPhone X, the keyboard lags if you type any faster than one letter per second; crashes when using voice dictation. Also, the search could be improved. A useful feature would be to be able to have people’s name show up when you write them in the ‘To’ section. This feature inconsistently works and I have to switch to my phone contacts to copy the email address.

I have been using Zoho and Zoho Mail for nearly 2 years and have loved every second. I find the app great and I can personalize as I feel fit. Only recommendation in my opinion is to simplify the appearance a little bit, there are so many features it’s sometimes a bit confusing the understand and use them all.

Going from 3 stars to 1. I’ve used Zoho for a few years now and I’ve never had an issue with scammy emails. Well recently, I’ve been getting phishing emails from either Rediff and AOL email address. These emails always have my real name, or the name I used for the account, and the city I live in. Reporting the emails as spam does nothing because when I end up getting another one of these emails, it goes straight to my inbox. The weirder thing is, I only get these emails on my Zoho. I don’t get them on my other email accounts just my Zoho account.

This app crashes on me at least once a day. I’ve even rebooted my phone to see if it gets fixed. Annoying to say the least. Update: the support staff for zoho is exceptional and for that I’m changing my review from 2 to 4 stars. Will change to 5 stars when the calendar app has easier sharing options and more view options. Thanks for your great customer support!

This is literally the best email app I’ve ever used. Better than gmail, yahoo, iCloud, this is just the best. It’s the best looking app, the most functional, the fastest, and overall just wonderful. My church has been using Zoho for over a year now with no problems. I highly recommend this app, and this service to any new or starting businesses. Thank you Zoho!

My main complaint is zoho’s mail servers block incoming email without sending a bounce or even placing it in your spam folder. The app is smooth flowing and works great. I really wish they would at least place blocked emails in spam, though. I’ve now been google free for a year.

I had previous experience with Zoho before a family emergency struck and I needed to close down blogging accounts and their associated Zoho emails. I am back again and very dedicated to this company and their great customer service and very clear tutorials. I would highly recommend the Zoho company and their apps.

Good, but problems under iOS 11

Zoho is a good alternative to other email providers and apps. In fact, I prefer the app to their web interface. However, since updating to iOS 11 and the latest version of Zoho Mail, the app crashes almost every time I try to open it. It’s pretty much unusable at this point. Frustrating since I’m also having problems syncing with Zoho Mail on my Mac. Fixes? Solutions? So, a very good app when it works.

Zoho tech support helped fix a problem when a third party vendor corrupted their spam filter, introducing censorship based on political bias. This is now a big problem with many e-mail providers, so make sure your other e-mail services are also eliminating the censorship problem.

Zohomail is great. It’s safe and works the way it should. You don’t have to worry about your data being sold to the highest bidder, nor adds popping up while your composing an email. I recommend this email service to friends and family.

Very nicely done. Well organized. I have no qualms with functionality except for a minor detail... when adding attachments from my Google Drive, all my files seem randomly listed instead of in the existing Drive folders. But no big deal.

I've been using the service for about 2 months now and so far I'm loving this email. I needed to create an email for professional needs and this is the perfect one. With the app, I'm just missing the notes. There's a separate app for that but I don't think I want another note taking app
Calendar is flawed

While I love Zohomail and it’s calendar feature on my MacBook and iPhone, I do not like it on my iPad. It simply will not keep Sunday as the first day of the week on my calendar. Even after I delete and reload the app, it only keeps it correct for a few days. I’ve contacted Zohomail and told them of my problem. They provided instructions to try and correct the issue but to no avail. I’m getting frustrated with what should be a simple fix. Hence the poor rating. Let’s get this figured out Zoho!!!

Have had a couple minor hiccups after IOS updates, but Zoho always has a fix within days. Told by several “experts” that they are more secure than Gmail, Yahoo, etc.. Blends seamlessly with Office365 and Outlook. Simply the best service out there. (I do use the $30 a year, not the free version.)

My main complaint is zoho’s mail servers block incoming email without sending a bounce or even placing it in your spam folder. The app is smooth flowing and works great. I really wish they would at least place blocked emails in spam, though. I’ve now been google free for a year.

I have been an MSN user for 20 years and was fed up with all my SPAM. I searched for a new email app to use. Zoho was rated high in my search as a free email. I have been well pleased. I had a couple of tech questions when were answered promptly and accurately. I did find that rather than merge my MSN to Zoho I have a forward rule on important messages. After using Zoho for 90 days have yet to receive my first SPAM. I also like the Newsletter feature which auto separates my subscriptions.

Worst email I have ever used. Could never get any answers out of customer service. And all I ever heard was there was another email that existed under my company that would allow me to upgrade. Giving me examples of emails that don’t exist. While I’m the owner and that’s not the answer. So I would definitely not recommend this for a business email.

If you turn your phone so you can see a larger version of your email it forces a right side menu in you so you’re stuck with the same tiny writing. It also never resets your email badge so most of the time it looks like I have dozens of new emails when I don’t have any.
Calendar is flawed

While I love Zohomail and it’s calendar feature on my MacBook and iPhone, I do not like it on my iPad. It simply will not keep Sunday as the first day of the week on my calendar. Even after I delete and reload the app, it only keeps it correct for a few days. I’ve contacted Zohomail and told them of my problem. They provided instructions to try and correct the issue but to no avail. I’m getting frustrated with what should be a simple fix. Hence the poor rating. Let’s get this figured out Zoho!!!

Overall the app is good but I used to be able to attach files from the cloud when it was zoho docs. Now that it’s al merging to WorkDrive, the option to attach from that cloud based platform doesn’t exist. Hope you can fix that soon! It used to be a life saver to be able to easily function from my mobile device.

For the most part the app works well, fairly basic and fits my needs. I have only been using it for a few days and these are two items that need fix or improvement: 1. When an email body is long, like a newsletter, it’s truncated with a “see more” link at bottom. However, when clicking this link to read the rest of the email, the resulting text is so tiny it’s impossible to read. 2. In the Inbox (or other) list view, instead of saying “Me” it should show my name or nickname. I have several email addresses coming into the same inbox and always seeing “Me” doesn’t help distinguish which “me.”

This is a huge overlook. When signing up for email, you put in your telephone number. When you hit next it’s asking for the OTP code from an email account…except you only provided a telephone and you’re trying create a new email. I can’t believe the team overlooked something as simple as actually making sure the sign up process works correctly, and doesn’t ask for email verification…when you’re trying to create an email…

Disastrous Gross incompliance with App Store requirements

We have been a corporate user for over 5 years patiently waiting and I personally was understanding with the a non-Google size enterprise suite developer. The iPhone, when founder and many times CEO Steve Jobs was among us, was focused on one hand operations: Reach every corner by the thumb. In those days, simply ignoring the fact that iOS uses a swipe back feature from within an email in email clients, would be excusable. Taking some time to adapt to the new reality that the back-one-page virtual button is no longer in reach, needs a secondary “pointer” and is small and without outlined borders creates use-anxiety for mistaps, is also excusable. Having a buggy implementation for the swipe back when it is done is also excusable. But having the implementation done since we started with Zoho Mail 5 years ago, and not fixing the swipe back feature ever since in an enterprise product is simply unacceptable. To this day, you have to gamble to hit the back button, or get lucky and somehow trigger the back swipe from the left edge partly across towards the right edge to go back and see other emails. It’s so frustrating. I hate using the app. I absolutely hate it. It’s a fundamental UX feature in all half-decent iOS apps, and I am going to go up the food chain to have Apple step in, apps should not enter the App Store with fundamental bugs. Moving from iPhone 4 to 5 and further meant moving from an everything-within-reach concept to the back button not being in reach anymore. Apps since then, more than ever, have to be compliant with Apple’s guidelines on iOS apps with special attention to such UX fundamentals. I will wait another 90 days to see if an update and a bug fix will finally propagate for the app, if still no luck, the app will be reported to Apple with developers and an attorney in house properly pleading the Apple guidelines so that they will be enforced. Such fundamental failures in following UX guidelines and distributing apps with basic bugs is not acceptable in the App Store.

I’ve used Zoho for years; I appreciate the services; I choose it over other services. I’ve even read before that Zoho data collection is lower than others (obviously Google...!) But here on iOS you collect ALL the things and link it to the user. This just isn’t necessary; and as many people are learning is anti-consumer. I’m not leaving yet, but I’ll be studying and researching alternatives. UPDATE: Thanks, Developer(s) for the response and for the link to your Privacy Policy. I’ve read the entire thing now and it doesn’t answer my questions and concerns. Ultimately, my question is how will your Privacy Policy, practices, and data collection keep you competitive with the likes of Protonmail, Tutanota, Edison Mail, or even the default Apple Mail? They all collect MUCH less data than you, leading me to believe you’re collecting more than is actually needed to run a decent email app. Again, I do enjoy Zoho products and services. And I’ve been glad I chose it over Google however many years ago. The industry is moving and I’m hoping Zoho is able to move with it.

The app has sooooo many bugs when you start dealing with adding attachments. I’ve typed up so many emails before. Even saved them to drafts to make sure they’re still in tact. But whenever I add an attachment it kills everything. My last email showed the entire body. And when I send the email, it send an empty email and just the attachment. This is not good for business. Very upsetting.

It’s good except contacts that you add doesn’t show up on the app like it does on a computer only those show up in app who emailed you or you emailed them. The contact button below in the app should take the user to the dedicated Address Book not just people who email you the most. It’s annoying as I will have to go on a computer anytime I’d want to retrieve a phone number or any other info I’ve saved

Zoho tech support helped fix a problem when a third party vendor corrupted their spam filter, introducing censorship based on political bias. This is now a big problem with many e-mail providers, so make sure your other e-mail services are also eliminating the censorship problem.

Zoho Mail has the following fairly basic bugs: 1. Double-sends the same email sometimes 2. Doesn’t send some emails at all 3. Cannot go to the right next email after you read and delete one (it should go to the one that arrived after the current one, not the one that arrived before this one) 4. Photo picker is broken if you decline photos access the first time you use it And many more. For an app that has been around for so many years these are very unfortunate issues.

I don’t think that the developers have spent much time debugging the website or apps. It seems like zoho has the makings of a nice email package, but it is very difficult to make any changes in settings. The only way to get changes to show up in the app is to delete it and download it again. The admin app just doesn’t seem to work at all. If you want to do anything you have to go back to the web. And then the results that show up in the email app are pretty random. I was really hoping for something much better.

This email is not user friendly. Wont load very well if at all without WiFi. Things need to be changed on it. It does not load pictures fast. If several pictures are added to an email it gets locked up. For some reason the Unread or All Emails Disappeared, gone! My outlook express email was so fast and simple. Easy and productive. I need something like that for my business. I’m hoping this gets better on sending emails from my phone.

Zoho said they would look into the errors I was receiving. They replied in emails I could not read. Every single email said (error 101). It was never fixed. I was forced to delete all Zoho MX records and redirect them. I’ve never seen such incompetence from any email. I do not recommend.

Been going downhill lately. Started having email issues. Decided to move from Zoho mail. When I did Zoho deleted my @Zoho.com email address which I’ve been using for years without warning. Support refused to re activate. Had to spend 4 hours changing the email for the accounts associated with the @zoho.com email.

The app is great allowing you to log into multiple accounts something I haven’t been able to do on a desktop without logging out of one account into the other. It’s frustrating when you have a personal account and a general business account to monitor. Zoho do offer a lot of great apps within its platform which is great to integrate in your business. The downside is the minimum storage for emails & cost to increase the capacity which isn’t an issue with the likes of competitors. Also, the annual cost to add additional emails addresses gets costly. Minus those inconveniences there’s a lot to like when running a business.

Have been using the email app for a while and it has been working very well. But when I updated to iOS 14.0-14.1 it doesn’t show when I move my email from inbox to another section. I have to reset it by pulling down and reloading it. Then it shows up. I hope this bug gets worked out soon.

I was a Gmail user from 2004 until now that I dare to switch and left behind Gmail for Zoho mail, what a difference, now I don’t receive spam emails, my inbox is clean and I switched all my accounts and notifications to Zoho mail. I am amazed with the product and the most important everything that I need is easy to do and configure, I can find any setup on the Zoho help or web site. Thank you Zoho Team.

Overall fan of Zoho Mail, but recently have had issues: I will receive push notifications for emails, tap them to navigate to a given email, then once I am navigated into the app, the email does not populate in any inbox/newsletter/notification etc. This requires me to login to the web client on my laptop, which defeats the purpose of the app altogether. I have multiple email addresses so I am not clear when I receive an email which specific address it was delivered to. This adds time for me as I often have to search for an email within each individual email address as the “Search All Inboxes” function doesn’t work in-app either.. Hopefully this processing will get cleaned up. This happens when phone is connected to WiFi or not.

Either it doesn’t bother to send the mail...or does and doesn’t record the sent email leaving me guessing did it or didn’t it, so I resend...then eventually go to another mail client asking the recipient if they received my emails, (so very smooth and professional). OR, and this is beyond irritating to both me for the amount of time I waste, and the recipients who end up with a pile of emails to wade thru....Zoho refuses to send emails with attachments in either the order attached, or duplicates an attachment during the sending while leaving off one, yet it is clear on my copy that I sent what I needed to send and Zoho Mail was the one who screwed up. So, in the end, when two emails would have sufficed for nine attachments, by the time I monkeyed around trying to figure out just how much this program could handle sending, three - no, two - no, ah, it must be one. S#1t, each attachment must be sent alone with the description. Lovely. For a long time this mail client has been an exercise in frustration for me, both in the difficulty in using as well as attempting to follow the online “help”. When initially setting up several years ago I needed to ask my son who has two degrees from MIT in Computers and is a successful software engineer. Even he found the whole setup convoluted and confusing.

I’ve used Zoho for years; I appreciate the services; I choose it over other services. I’ve even read before that Zoho data collection is lower than others (obviously Google...!) But here on iOS you collect ALL the things and link it to the user. This just isn’t necessary; and as many people are learning is anti-consumer. I’m not leaving yet, but I’ll be studying and researching alternatives. UPDATE: Thanks, Developer(s) for the response and for the link to your Privacy Policy. I’ve read the entire thing now and it doesn’t answer my questions and concerns. Ultimately, my question is how will your Privacy Policy, practices, and data collection keep you competitive with the likes of Protonmail, Tutanota, Edison Mail, or even the default Apple Mail? They all collect MUCH less data than you, leading me to believe you’re collecting more than is actually needed to run a decent email app. Again, I do enjoy Zoho products and services. And I’ve been glad I chose it over Google however many years ago. The industry is moving and I’m hoping Zoho is able to move with it.
Zoho Mail and Campaign Apps Not Connecting

Update: Zoho support responded but haven’t fixed issue. Going on 18 hours, now, of not being able to do anything with this app. Tomorrow I’m looking for a new provider if this issue isn’t fixed by then. Up til now, I’ve been pretty happy with Zoho but this is unacceptable! If you want to use Zoho for private email, it may not be an issue. But, to run a business and rely on Zoho? Better look at all options before deciding. In the past week, there are at least 2 others who wrote reviews here about this same problem. Something is up with Zoho! Have been using Zoho Mail for my business for several months without any issue. For the past 8 hours, I have not been able to sign on to Zoho Mail or Zoho Campaigns using the phone apps. Reinstalling the app did not resolve the problem. My account can be accessed using the phone’s Safari browser. No other apps on my phone are having problems. The issue appears to be with Zoho Accounts login process for the apps. I reported this problem several hours ago & have not gotten a response from Zoho support. This needs to be fixed ASAP or I will have to investigate moving my domain to a new email provider.
Calendar Invites - Need Notification in Email to Approve

The email folders are great and love that there are so many features. I just started using ZoHo and it has been one day so hope to post more reviews as I learn more. The calendar invites show as a feed in your chat. However, there is no email notification that prompts you to accept or decline the invite. Having invites automatically go into your calendar to accept or decline does not prompt you that there’s a new event. Please fix this feature to notify you in you inbox that a calendar event is created and needs your response to help identify new calendar invites versus your own agenda.

I had the same Yahoo small business (read: paid) email account for over 14 years and resisted switching for years. I finally did and wish I’d done it much, much sooner... Yahoo was impossible to deal with at the end. I was paying over $20 monthly and they began piling ads into my email list which was infuriating... ya know, since I was already paying. And when things weren’t working, it was virtually impossible to ever get ahold of any sort of customer service. With Zoho, they wrote me back in 24 hours. I now pay $7 a month for the top of the line pro account and, guess what, no ads! Side note: I downloaded all my old emails to a hard drive using Thunderbird. Look into it if you need to escape but are worried about losing your backlog of emails.
Responsive customer service

I have to say my experience with customer service has been phenomenal and refreshing. I had an issue with the app restarting when I was working on drafts and when I tried to reply to emails. When I notified customer service I expected an auto generated response. Instead, I received an acknowledgement of the issues, updates that it was being worked on, and a final email advising that the issue had been identified and the app had been updated. I was utterly shocked! I had no idea that this level of customer service still existed. I can honestly say I’ll be a lifetime customer.
Cannot send multiple BCC emails

This app works great except for one thing. I want to send the same email to a number of email addresses—not as a “group” where people join or unsubscribe, but simply to send individual emails to a lot of people at once. So I copy all the emails in proper format and paste them in the BCC. When I use the full Zoho website from a computer they are sent with no problem. But when I do the same thing using the Zoho iOS app, it says all these emails are an “invalid email address”. So I have to wait until I get to a computer to send emails with multiple BCC addresses. Please enable the app to do the same thing.

I’ve used two free email accounts, one for several years and the other for about two. During the past several months the older one has received notices of someone other than myself logging in even though I change the strong password frequently. The newer one sends duplicate mails and can’t log in to Apple Mail properly nor on my BlackBerry. Though the newer account would log in here, it would not send nor receive properly sometimes and archived mail could not be found. Hence I’m migrating all contacts out of those accounts in order to move on, and this app was the last straw. The webmail works fine except for the strange notices, but zoho has changed their privacy policy to one less user friendly in the past year or two so I’m outta here.

Best email service ever. I have yahoo and google there’s so much spam/junk ads from things I am not even remotely familiar or interested in. It’s mostly gmail. I spend more time unsubscribing to things i have no clue about than getting an actual email I care to or need to see. Not anymore with Zoho it’s only things I have given permission or my email to. Zoho’s my go to email service the rest are basically linking Facebook accounts etc.. my google has over 8,000 emails from the last 2-3 months. I’m rambling but zoho will keep u safe from all sorts of unwanted crap!
Works but needs improvements

For the most part the app works well, fairly basic and fits my needs. I have only been using it for a few days and these are two items that need fix or improvement: 1. When an email body is long, like a newsletter, it’s truncated with a “see more” link at bottom. However, when clicking this link to read the rest of the email, the resulting text is so tiny it’s impossible to read. 2. In the Inbox (or other) list view, instead of saying “Me” it should show my name or nickname. I have several email addresses coming into the same inbox and always seeing “Me” doesn’t help distinguish which “me.”

Zoho has a lot going for them and their users. Like many have said, Zoho is a better service for businesses than other competitors. Like any tech service you will run into problems and bugs, but Zoho has been very responsive and quick to help me through the issues that have arisen. The App still has a couple tiny issues here and there, but it’s functional. It does what it’s supposed to. I’ve used Zoho for a couple years or more now and I have no plans of changing that for years to come (hoping)! Keep up the good work, Zoho.

The app is great allowing you to log into multiple accounts something I haven’t been able to do on a desktop without logging out of one account into the other. It’s frustrating when you have a personal account and a general business account to monitor. Zoho do offer a lot of great apps within its platform which is great to integrate in your business. The downside is the minimum storage for emails & cost to increase the capacity which isn’t an issue with the likes of competitors. Also, the annual cost to add additional emails addresses gets costly. Minus those inconveniences there’s a lot to like when running a business.

Zoho is an overall great platform but the pesky detail where I can open an email on my computer, or another device and the notification doesn’t clear on apps is very annoying. As a person who clears notifications and promptly responds to emails I find myself constantly thinking I’ve missed an email only to open the app and find the emails open and cleared. Engineers please sync across platforms!!

I have been an MSN user for 20 years and was fed up with all my SPAM. I searched for a new email app to use. Zoho was rated high in my search as a free email. I have been well pleased. I had a couple of tech questions when were answered promptly and accurately. I did find that rather than merge my MSN to Zoho I have a forward rule on important messages. After using Zoho for 90 days have yet to receive my first SPAM. I also like the Newsletter feature which auto separates my subscriptions.

Since I can’t seem to get my zoho account working via the iOS email widget, I’ve had to resort to this awful app. The entire screen jitters as you type a message and is infuriating. When I copy an email address into the address bar that already has another address, it tells me that the address isn’t valid. When you switch to another app or, heaven forbid, answer a call while writing an email, forget about it. It’s gone. When you switch back it goes back to your inbox without even saving a draft. It’s 2019. An email app should be able to keep itself running in the background. On top of all that it’s quite sluggish. To the point that just deleting emails is a chore.

I have been using Zoho services for over 2years now and the value they bring is unbelievable. I begin as a true startup and now we are growing as a company and they provide the tools needed. Although there are A LOT of different services offered, at first it feels overbearing for a new guy. But believe me you become grateful overtime. What really brought me here is to provide my feedback on the Zoho mail app, simply phenomenal! I just hope Zoho does not become complacent. But as of now, the best system and app for ANY business person.

I’ve used many email clients over the years on many platforms. This is one of the best I have seen in terms of cohesion, usability, stability and functionality. I actually only use the email portions of the software and it has me thinking I should check out the other features. I just don’t really need them. But based just on the email, I’d imagine the rest of the system is just as good. This is a well done app the developers should be proud of.

Constantly shows deleted emails from last session; support is handled by bots andnot humans; whenever you get through to support you can tell machines are parsing the email because if you use college-level phrasing you get replies that make no sense, therefore, either it is AI doing the suport or third graders in some foreign country. Avoid this product for secure email; it has more holes than Swiss cheese and the interface is clunky and cumbersome in a Fisher Price kind of way. Read the developer responses; almost none of them address the issues. Fake tech support from another generic Big Tech company. The last dev response said something about my photos being safe - I SAID NOTHING ABOUT PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!

Very visually appealing interface but just fails in lots of big ways. Send an email with two attachments and chances are only one of them will deliver, maybe neither. This has made me look stupid more than a few times. Next is the randomness of disappearing emails. I get a notification about a new email and I open up the app to read the email and it’s not in my inbox???? This almost cost me a job offer because the company had an issue and needed my immediate response. Well that email came through and for some reason went to the notification folder. I had no idea it was there. Luckily I found it just in time to clear things up. Really important emails are being sent to folders that I didn’t want them to. Not good when I don’t have the time to dig through random folders and toggle different views just to pull up an unread email. Then to top it all off the app will just freeze up and crash. Update: Now the app is not displaying the number of new emails on the icon.
Decent email client

Zoho Email Service is top notch, I’ve been using it for over a year and it works great. The Zoho Mail Client is good and works fine as a client. The only issue I Have found so far is on the iPad when deleting an email. After viewing the email and deleting it you are left still viewing the deleted email. You have to manually select the next email to view. Seems like a small gripe but it bugs me to no end, so much so that I fund myself using the app less and less. Fix this one issue and I’ll be back to using it full time.

This app use to work just as you would expect an email app to work; customizable workspace, sleek and straightforward design, etc. However, since I have updated to the latest version of iOS, I can’t reply to any emails. The emails come into the appropriate Inbox, I can read them, but as soon as I hit Reply or Forward, I can not type into the body of the email. The keyboard is there, but it just stalls and freezes. I have re-downloaded the app, but I still have the same issue.

I was a Gmail user from 2004 until now that I dare to switch and left behind Gmail for Zoho mail, what a difference, now I don’t receive spam emails, my inbox is clean and I switched all my accounts and notifications to Zoho mail. I am amazed with the product and the most important everything that I need is easy to do and configure, I can find any setup on the Zoho help or web site. Thank you Zoho Team.
The mobile app is confusing

It’s good except contacts that you add doesn’t show up on the app like it does on a computer only those show up in app who emailed you or you emailed them. The contact button below in the app should take the user to the dedicated Address Book not just people who email you the most. It’s annoying as I will have to go on a computer anytime I’d want to retrieve a phone number or any other info I’ve saved

I’ve been using Zoho mail for about two years and love it. What initially attracted me was it’s ability to work with custom domains, and that it has Apple Watch support. There are some annoying bugs (such as mails not always deleting right away or the notification badge not going away) however. UI seems clean and performance is good, plus mobile works great with numerous Zoho mail accounts.

I don’t think that the developers have spent much time debugging the website or apps. It seems like zoho has the makings of a nice email package, but it is very difficult to make any changes in settings. The only way to get changes to show up in the app is to delete it and download it again. The admin app just doesn’t seem to work at all. If you want to do anything you have to go back to the web. And then the results that show up in the email app are pretty random. I was really hoping for something much better.

The app itself is not bad. I get my email there. However, after I read new emails the notification number stays on about half the time. I’m one of those people who clears all notifications - so this bugs me. I have to log out of the app and log back in. Also, the app put emails in strange folders like Notifications and Newsletters, but it wasn’t really accurate. It’s probably better to let the user decide (and I had to go on the desktop to adjust those folders).
Mail and Calendar

Lots and lots of issues running the apps vs using the desktop version. App will crash EVERY song time you schedule an even in a team calendar. App also does not give you access to all of your calendars when you want to schedule an event in a particular calendar forcing you to go back to the web browser version. The obvious fix for this was to use Google Calendars instead.....except Zoho blocks all of the emails that would allow you to do so. Gave it 2 stars simply out of generosity. Don’t even get me started on Cliq.
Great app - but streams isn’t working

Really love using the app as opposed to native iOS mail app. Allows me to switch seamlessly between different accounts. Will upgrade to five stars once the streams function on mobile (iPhone and iPad app) works the same as desktop. Currently I am only showing one very old posting to the stream instead of the newest streams that have been added.

I had an issue regarding marking complete folder as and developers were quick to respond and suggested me a way to resolve this issue. This app definitely deserve 5 stars because of its simplicity, stability and support. I have issues in filtering spam with zoho. Since I am a gmail user which automatically filter spam so if zoho could provide any comparable automatic filter then zoho can easily beat gmail.

This app is not very user friendly. I regret changing over to it for some of my needs. Like how do I set up folders to file emails in? I tried something and ended up removing an email receipt, don’t know what happened to it. A lot of emails which are not spam go into the spam folder. Others go into a folder called notifications, still others go into one called newsletter, a real pain to check all these folders and hardly none go to the “inbox” folder. There’s no way to move emails around, either only delete them.

I checked out the Zoho Mail app. I love it when it has protection before you view the image. One problem is that I want to store some of the emails in folder but I'm unable to create one so that I can go back to review emails. I do not want archive because it felt like they're being ignored. Will you be able to add 'Create Folder' feature? Thanks.
Great Idea but app needs work

When typing on iPhone X, the keyboard lags if you type any faster than one letter per second; crashes when using voice dictation. Also, the search could be improved. A useful feature would be to be able to have people’s name show up when you write them in the ‘To’ section. This feature inconsistently works and I have to switch to my phone contacts to copy the email address.

I have been using Zoho and Zoho Mail for nearly 2 years and have loved every second. I find the app great and I can personalize as I feel fit. Only recommendation in my opinion is to simplify the appearance a little bit, there are so many features it’s sometimes a bit confusing the understand and use them all.

Going from 3 stars to 1. I’ve used Zoho for a few years now and I’ve never had an issue with scammy emails. Well recently, I’ve been getting phishing emails from either Rediff and AOL email address. These emails always have my real name, or the name I used for the account, and the city I live in. Reporting the emails as spam does nothing because when I end up getting another one of these emails, it goes straight to my inbox. The weirder thing is, I only get these emails on my Zoho. I don’t get them on my other email accounts just my Zoho account.

This app crashes on me at least once a day. I’ve even rebooted my phone to see if it gets fixed. Annoying to say the least. Update: the support staff for zoho is exceptional and for that I’m changing my review from 2 to 4 stars. Will change to 5 stars when the calendar app has easier sharing options and more view options. Thanks for your great customer support!

This is literally the best email app I’ve ever used. Better than gmail, yahoo, iCloud, this is just the best. It’s the best looking app, the most functional, the fastest, and overall just wonderful. My church has been using Zoho for over a year now with no problems. I highly recommend this app, and this service to any new or starting businesses. Thank you Zoho!

My main complaint is zoho’s mail servers block incoming email without sending a bounce or even placing it in your spam folder. The app is smooth flowing and works great. I really wish they would at least place blocked emails in spam, though. I’ve now been google free for a year.

I recommend Zoho mail to anyone who wants a straightforward and easy to use application for email. There does not appear to be any tracking of my email contents both sent and received. Many Other email applications track and sell your information. I plan to use some other Zoho application soon

Recently my app stopped working, it would just keep loading with a blank white background. So i deleted and reinstalled the app- now it works perfect! I have been with Zoho for 4 years and really love it! It has helped me expand my business in many ways. I highly recommend.

I had previous experience with Zoho before a family emergency struck and I needed to close down blogging accounts and their associated Zoho emails. I am back again and very dedicated to this company and their great customer service and very clear tutorials. I would highly recommend the Zoho company and their apps.

Good, but problems under iOS 11

Zoho is a good alternative to other email providers and apps. In fact, I prefer the app to their web interface. However, since updating to iOS 11 and the latest version of Zoho Mail, the app crashes almost every time I try to open it. It’s pretty much unusable at this point. Frustrating since I’m also having problems syncing with Zoho Mail on my Mac. Fixes? Solutions? So, a very good app when it works.

Zoho tech support helped fix a problem when a third party vendor corrupted their spam filter, introducing censorship based on political bias. This is now a big problem with many e-mail providers, so make sure your other e-mail services are also eliminating the censorship problem.

Zohomail is great. It’s safe and works the way it should. You don’t have to worry about your data being sold to the highest bidder, nor adds popping up while your composing an email. I recommend this email service to friends and family.

Very nicely done. Well organized. I have no qualms with functionality except for a minor detail... when adding attachments from my Google Drive, all my files seem randomly listed instead of in the existing Drive folders. But no big deal.

I've been using the service for about 2 months now and so far I'm loving this email. I needed to create an email for professional needs and this is the perfect one. With the app, I'm just missing the notes. There's a separate app for that but I don't think I want another note taking app
Calendar is flawed

While I love Zohomail and it’s calendar feature on my MacBook and iPhone, I do not like it on my iPad. It simply will not keep Sunday as the first day of the week on my calendar. Even after I delete and reload the app, it only keeps it correct for a few days. I’ve contacted Zohomail and told them of my problem. They provided instructions to try and correct the issue but to no avail. I’m getting frustrated with what should be a simple fix. Hence the poor rating. Let’s get this figured out Zoho!!!

Have had a couple minor hiccups after IOS updates, but Zoho always has a fix within days. Told by several “experts” that they are more secure than Gmail, Yahoo, etc.. Blends seamlessly with Office365 and Outlook. Simply the best service out there. (I do use the $30 a year, not the free version.)
