Launcher with Multiple Widgets
Description
Launcher is the original app launching widget -- and still the best! Now with version 4.0, Launcher has far and away the most powerful widgets on the App Store. When you install it, you get up to 6 widgets (with in-app purchase) which can be added to Notification Center on your iPhone or iPad so that they're just one swipe away! Top 10 Productivity App in over 80 countries and counting! "It belongs on everyone’s iDevice for one-swipe access to favorites" - AppAdvice.com "One of the most flexible widgets out there." - Gizmodo.com "It will speed up your iOS usage in a real way." - Tidbits.com "One of the best time-saving apps out there." - BusinessInsider.com Why worry about what apps to put in your dock or your home screen when you can put dozens of app, web, music and contact launchers in your Launcher widgets? Unlike the dock or home screen, Notification Center can always be accessed with one swipe even if you're in an app, an app folder or even the lock screen. With just one tap in the Notification Center you can: - Call, message, email, and facetime the people you contact the most. - Get directions home or search for nearby restaurants, coffee shops, or whatever you're looking for at your current location. - Quickly access your favorite web sites. - Perform actions within a number of apps. Run Workflows, load a specific page on Facebook, fire off a canned email or message, tweet, and more. - See current weather conditions and forecasts, Uber time estimates, driving or transit time estimates, world clocks, and network, disk, and battery status with dynamically updating magic launchers! (Pro Version only) - Start playing your favorite music immediately with music launchers. - Launch your most frequently used apps. FEATURES: - Shortcut Launchers bring even more power to Launcher. Utilize the power of the Shortcuts app easily without the complexity. - Launch every app on your device. No more limits. - Settings shortcut launchers have the ability to launch to most screens in the Settings app. - One tap launchers for turning Wifi, Bluetooth, Low Power Mode, DND, Cellular Data, and Airplane Mode on and off. - Option to open Web Launchers in Google Chrome, Firefox, or DuckDuckGo. - Folders. Save space and keep your launchers more organized by grouping them into folders. - Launcher for Apple Watch: Initiate calls, messages, map directions and music from your wrist. - Launcher triggers: Get a notification to launch an app at set times or locations. - Backup and restore launchers to and from iCloud. - Innovative auto-setup of launchers which will set up contact launchers for the people most important to you and your most frequently used apps. - Incredibly easy setup and editing of launchers. Just a few taps and you're done. - Ability to create custom launchers for apps and actions that aren't yet supported. - Pro Version users get the ability to change the icon sizes and hide labels to make widget more compact. - Great accessibility for the sight-impaired. - Siri Shortcut support. Run launchers with your voice. All of this is available for free! Unlock up to 6 total widgets (with an in-app purchase) for more space for launchers, better organization, and the ability to show or hide widgets based on day, time and/or location. Set up specific widgets for morning, weekends, home, work, the gym, etc. and always have relevant launchers just a swipe away. Multiple widgets not available on iPhone 4S. Upgrade to the Pro Version (with an in-app purchase) to enable more rows of launchers and customize the size of each widget by changing the size of the icons and/or hiding the labels. Please support further development on the app by unlocking Multiple Widgets or the Pro Version today. Thanks!

One of the best iOS apps.
AMAZING!!!
by jayc910 on 2020/04/18 04:28
Because that’s what this app is!!! It’s my favorite!! I can’t remember how long I’ve had this app for but it’s been some time. I’ve had it since the days where you could add Settings buttons to it. The app does what it should. I bought the premium version and I absolutely love it!! Worth the money!! I’ve never had any issues with the app not working on my phone.
This app is amazing
by AmyB8484 on 2020/04/14 14:00
I’ve tried other similar launch apps, and usually they’ll only have launchers for some of your apps but not all the ones you want, which kind of defeats the purpose of the launcher. This one is able to launch almost every single app, and if they don’t have the url scheme to launch it directly, they can do it through the Shortcuts app 99% of the time, and it sets the shortcut up for you automatically so you don’t have to know anything about shortcuts. Also, in the rare instance you can’t launch a certain app, you can request it, and their development team is super nice and responds quickly. The buttons are fast and responsive. No bugs. At one point I thought the buttons were slow to respond, but it turned out it was only like that on my old iPhone 6, which was slow on everything, so it wasn’t the app’s fault. On a more updated model of a phone or iPad, it’s super fast. It also can do tons of actions beyond just launching apps. For instance, in another launch app I tried, I had tried to set up a launch button to go to a particular page in Settings (Keyboards), and a message popped up saying Apple didn’t allow that and they could only launch the settings app itself. But Launcher somehow lets you go to whatever page you want in settings, so apparently it is possible for them. Great quality app, and definitely worth the upgrade.
This is the one!

Are use it access my monitoring devices on a VPN network so I don’t have to peck in an IP address. Not only that I have a pic of the device to make it easier to spot on the screen. Get the full version! It’s well worth it. Good job developer!!
Great app

Love using this. A little tricky at start up but it is the missing link for iPhones in my opinion.
The original & still awesome

Have been using this since it was banned and allowed it back on the App Store years ago. Don’t be fooled, all others are imitations of this.
Dont get this app unless you can’t use shortcuts
by Squeezyguy on 2020/03/07 00:40
Shortcuts is so much better than this trash app. You can use as many shortcuts as you want compared to launcher’s default 7 launchers, and you have to pay literally “only” $3.99 for 5 more widgets. On shortcuts, there obviously isn’t any ads either that take up launcher space. And actually helpful glitch when you first download the app, is that you get 8/7 launchers, instead of just 7. This app is just focused more on profit, instead of on what you actually need.
Absolutely Essential!

Love Launcher!
by TS 2019 03 09 on 2019/12/09 18:35
This app works perfectly. Launcher makes it extremely easy to launch my critical apps easily. Launcher is also easy and intuitive to learn. Also noteworthy is that Launcher staff are timely and responsive to email questions when occasional problems occur. I love this app and highly recommend it. There is top notch code behind this app.
Really sweet!
by BennSKirk on 2019/11/02 15:33
Still awesome! The latest update re-enables getting directly to specific places in the Settings app by using Shortcuts. Works really well! I put Launcher in the bottom (sticky) row of apps, and use 3D touch to get to 7 apps quickly. Really sweet! And Cromulent is responsive and helpful. Just get it!
Was Great, Then a Dumpster Fire Update
by EliotJ2 on 2019/10/30 17:49
The most recent update is a trash heap. It doesn't launch apps with Shortcuts. I followed the directions and enabled untrusted shortcuts. Not a single launcher worked. Also, the search feature for launchable apps doesn't work. All around, a dumpster fire.
Must Have!

Beautifully Functional App-Great Customer Service
by Rich9454a on 2019/10/01 15:40
This app has a very clean and intuitive UI. I have been using Launcher with Shortcuts to create Home Screen icons that will launch individual Google Sheets and Docs pages for a group of non-techies with one easy click. Launcher is working flawlessly. It works so much better than opening a Safari bookmark and then being prompted every time to install the Google Sheets app (even though it’s already installed) I had some problems initially when I tried using a tinyurl address instead of the Google url. Greg At Cromulent Labs was very quick to respond to my inquiry and the issue was resolved. I tried two other launcher type apps. One was very buggy and the other had a lot of options that were in some cases not obvious what their purpose was without buying and trying. Nice to have a very functional and clean app with a responsive developer.

This app promises to launch every app, and if it doesn’t launch an app, they’ll contact the app developer to see if they’ll support launching. What really happens? If you ask them to add an app to their list, they send you a form letter saying “feel free to contact the developer...” What a crock. I feel completely cheated.
Love the launcher but...
by Shelllatte on 2019/07/20 20:12
I love the concept of launcher but I give it 3 stars until a glitch is resolved. I upgraded to get the extra launchers but launchers come & go. They just disappear randomly (on an up to date iPad mini 4). Swipe & everything is fine, swipe again & extra launchers are gone. Stick with the free version. I'll update to 5 stars once this is resolved in a future update.
Insanely Useful!!
by 2matt on 2019/07/16 18:23
So happy I found this app! It has a ton of functionality that makes life easier on iOS. The main thing I use it for is music shortcuts. The way you can integrate Apple Music shortcuts into it is wonderful. I also use it for Spotify shortcuts. I’ve also found the geofencing to work absolutely perfectly. This is great for surfacing things when and where I need them. This lets the widget serve as a kind of second homepage that is dynamic. Great work and highly recommended. Tons of functionality!!!
Must have app
by QNetSo on 2019/07/13 19:12
This app makes the iPhone way more usable. I originally got it on my iPad and thought it was very good. But now that I have an iPhone I don't know how you can not have this app! It allows me to leave all apps in alphabetical order in the built in launcher. And then organize them how I want in this app. Why would I do that? I like my apps grouped by function. This often means I need an app in multiple groups. Something you can't do in the built in launcher. I'm also coming from windows phone. Where all apps where in an alphabetical list as well as in groups I created. In short for a windows phone user this app makes the iPhone a lot more tolerable. The app owner also responds very quickly.

by WTF_Actual on 2019/07/01 17:40
more or less an easy to use app. the icons don’t display properly sometimes IF i add them with the green plus + arrow, but do fine if i click on the app (like i’m going to edit it) and choose the check box when finished. 3 stars for that and the ugly “Launcher, Launcher 2, Launcher 3 title bars in the widget. would be 4.9 stars if i could get rid of that or replace the widget title bars with the widget’s explicit name.

I am very pleased with what apps I’m able to add to Launcher. The convenience of being able to have a shortcut for my main apps from the locked screen without having to go into my phone and find them, is wonderful... This is an app purchase I do not regret.
Functionality that increases your productivity

Apple can’t seem to grasp the integration of structure and fuction into an intuitive usable app. Kudos to Launcher for getting it right in all respects.
Changing my review
by Vampaliciousss on 2019/04/09 01:05
Ok. So I’m updating my review because I do see potential here. Convenient for messaging apps. Quick notes. It would be great for a calculator, etc. I haven’t purchased it. And the fifth star, well. It’s still a launcher. I’d love for it to have some widget functionality. Like instead of launching the messenger app, allowing you to view and answer messages right there. But it says it’s a launcher and it does what it says. Can’t complain about that.
Multiple In App Purchases Makes This Difficult To Rate More Highly
by musiccity1 on 2019/04/06 16:16
I’ve used this App for several years across multiple iPhones and iPads. As I tried to move widgets across platforms yesterday I was reminded of some shortcomings. I have purchased the app and paid for one upgrade only to be met with a second in app purchase to unlock the functionality I really need. I certainly don’t mind paying for apps (I’ve been doing this since day one of the first iPhone release), but an app like this shouldn’t have a multi tiered purchase in my opinon. This is all the more true as there are now totally free options which provide most of the functionality found here. Also, there are any number of new apps not formally supported by Launcher. This also makes this app less useful to me. If I could, I would give this two and a half stars at this point, but that isn’t an option. It certainly does provide some much needed convenience which Apple could incorporate into a native iOS release but never has bother to do so. Shortcuts isn’t remotely a competitor here. If you decide to buy, be aware of what you do, and don’t get with each tiered purchase. I suspect many will need to plunk down multiple purchases to get the real use out of Launcher.....
iOS 12, still no dark background for widgets
by Just_Me_Too56657 on 2019/04/01 09:18
I know that Appe (ugh...), forces developers to change great features to become unusable ones, just like the CPU and memory ones in this app. Having to change them to a white background makes them... Well - useless!!! Unless you want to have HUGE widgets - which I don't! Too bad they arbitrarily, allow other launchers, to use black background. (I'm using another Launcher app, just for that reason, which consumes more battery, and takes a lot of precious real estate, thanks to... Apple again, for making Widgets sizes great only for people with bad eyes. A note for the developers : please try to ask Apple to allow dark backgrounds, so you can have some of your features useable again. I hope they listen, it's ios 12, and they already (more correctly - Finally), adopting Dark Mode, themselves.

Great app to group your favorite contacts and apps together!!
by sho2k on 2019/01/04 21:28
This is an excellent app to allow you to put your favorite contacts (family, co workers, etc) and apps that you use most often in the same place. Now instead of finding where my apps are or punch my screen several times before I can call my wife, I can now do all those using the first screen!!! Genius idea!! It also has so many apps that are already built in or for you to choose so you can launch them from the first screen, so you should be very well covered!! Highly recommended!!

Apple's current way of getting things done work but isn't the most efficient way. I'm finding that Launcher helps overcome some of these problems and makes doing daily things easier and faster. I especially like the time and location based triggers. And the recent Siri triggers are great, pity Apple has worked hard to ensure they don't operate without user Face confirmations.
Google Maps destinations not working
by insyzygy on 2018/11/04 22:00
I have Google Maps destinations set up in Launcher, but when I select a particular destination in the widget section, Google Maps no longer takes me to that destination; it just opens up Google Maps. Any idea what’s going on? It’s my most-used Launcher configuration.

Is it possible add an option “ every weekday” in time trigger?
Adds widgets like promised, but poor options and buggy
by Ktmmm1 on 2018/11/01 21:07
I purchased the app for full access to all functions, but regretting it now. For one, you can’t add basic apps like Calculator, Settings, and Google. Like, how are these not available options to add into a widget?! Also, if you want to add the Phone app to a widget, it MUST be to a specific contact: You can’t just simply add a function to open the Phone app by itself. Seriously, who designed the UX for this app? I’m not a programmer so I’m not aware if there are some programming limitations, but it’s ridiculous that I can’t just open up my Phone app, or even add a simple way to open up my Settings app. Also, when I go to reorder my widget locations, the icon images get flipped around too. For example, my Spotify app appears as my Safari app because they switched places, but it’s still technically Spotify. For a paid app, this app is stupidly buggy and has many limitations you’d think wouldn’t exist for an app that touts customizability. But, if you need widgets, then this will get the job done albeit poorly. I’d suggest trying out a different Launcher app.

Fabulous utility now even better with Siri Shortcuts
by bobsilver1 on 2018/10/18 18:31
I’ve been a longtime user of Launcher. It’s been one of the most useful apps I’ve ever bought. There are few developers that put the time and love into improving their apps that Cromulent does. And it shows. If you are looking for a way to speed up access to apps and a variety of other shortcuts Launcher is the way to go.
Decent but frustrating.
by iPhone6DK on 2018/10/08 13:02
3 stars. Decent functionality. Usually reliable (has only frozen/locked up twice). Probably the best solution for bringing Android organization to Apple. A couple frustrations though: (1) Why aren’t all Apple stock apps available to use in Launcher? For example, we can add “News” but not “Stocks”. Even though Stocks are now technically part of News, the ONLY way to access it is through the “Stocks” app. Please fix this ASAP. (2) Why are Launchers auto names Launcher 1, Launcher 2, etc.? This is redundant and wastes valuable real estate on my phone’s screen. Instead, let us name them ourselves or skip the name entirely, as we obviously know what the app is called if we have installed and customized it.
Business model could use work!
by Psychor on 2018/10/01 04:22
When it was launched a “Pro” option was offered. Then they started to add paid features outside of this package. Why not continue to upgrade the “Pro” option and if necessary increase the price?
Cash grab
by Macnsal on 2018/09/29 23:06
It’s an annoying app with all paid features shown in a free version. You can click anything you want within the app but 90% of the options spring a pop up reminding you to buy the pro version to do anything useful. The only thing you can do for free can easily be done with built in apple software with less confusion. I would recommend to the creator to offer a separate free version with no constant cash grab reminder. (Keep ads if need be but don’t show paid features) Also, offer a free trial for the paid app. Most features are not even explained what they do. Offer the trial so we can see what it does versus guessing if it’s a needed feature.
Very useful app!

Works well still
by drjwr on 2018/09/16 04:26
In my general effort to support developers, I bought the app’s advanced options. The app works fine, but has issues that make it not worth the money for me since the four launches I need most are problematic. (As a side comment, because the watch and phone don’t run through the iPad, the app works better for me there than on the phone.) The developer has made clear that these issues are because of Apple (1-3) or Amazon (4): (1) The Apple Watch launcher annoyingly opens up the App Store for the watch, not My Watch. (2) Also, there’s a problem with the phone launcher: All I want to do is open the phone app, not telephone a particular person, and (so far as I can see) there’s no way to add a launcher to do that. (3) The same for FaceTime. (4) Launching Amazon crashes the Amazon webpage. To sum, the app does all that it can; I wish Apple and Amazon were different here; and I’m glad to support a forthright developer with my modest purchase. (Note to some other end-users: Why kvetch over a cost that is less than what your Starbucks costs, paid to a developer who scratches out an income? Get over it.)
Love it

*Update #2* 2 times now I’ve contacted the developer through the suggestion link, and within about a week my suggested app was actually added! Fantastic customer support and reply times! Overall very handy app with few bugs and if your favorite app can not be launched, just email them with the suggestion to add and if they can they will!

by macmomma1 on 2018/08/11 18:10
As a former android user the launcher makes the transition over to Apple easier, so I bought the full version. However it’s not working in the family share; it shows I have it, but when my husband tries to download it it only does the free.
Indispensable
by docwindsor on 2018/08/06 17:50
Just one example of how you can use this app: I love the Siri suggestions for apps, but find it changes often. With Launcher I can have my own, permanent version in my today widget view. Gives me quick and easy access to infrequent but important apps like Friends and Family and also estimated drive times for home and work. I use this app every day!
Good staff. Know what you’re getting
by MaybeTinEar on 2018/08/06 16:25
Apple has made life hard for developers. Somehow, I think they are proud of that. It is a fault, and it hinders adoption of Apple products, though they suppose otherwise (it is not a theory they have tested out). The implication here is that you can only launch 3rd party apps that are free to install. That’s because, since apps can’t just search for apps, because apple locked it down, the developers have to manually create a link. Don’t get me started about apple not enabling mouse support, or refusing to add hdmi...

Excellent app for automating messages if you have a multitude of messages and lots of contacts. Also automates other activities in other apps quite easily!
My 2nd most favorite app
by dugnino on 2018/07/06 20:55
I recommend the pro version which has 35 launchable apps on notification widget screen. Using Launcher, I can quickly startup any of my Pythonista scripts from the iOS notification widget screen without first having to start the Pythonista app. Launcher saves me valuable time and allows me to be more productive.

I can’t add my favorite app..
by bulluck.s on 2018/07/02 16:47
It will not let you add any knitting/crocheting row counting apps, so apps that you can add to it are limited. I’m still working things out, figuring things out but it is a very useful app. I didn’t hesitate paying to unlock everything..
Love it!

Best launcher app I’ve used
by NattyKnucks on 2018/05/10 22:34
I’ve used Magic Launcher Pro, Launch Center Pro, and Launcher and this app is far-and-away the best. The pro versions are well worth the price and gives the app “essential” status on both my iPhone and iPad. Can’t recommend enough!

Great App. So helpful for compartmentalizing.
by Imbrock on 2018/04/18 20:59
Really appreciate the app. My least favorite things are: 1)The interface, but that is just personal preference. I use the app for its functionality. 2) The Apple Watch Functions. Right now, there are just to options (call a specific number or text a specific number). I am confident the options will expand as the app continues to improve, but for now you have to look to apps like IFTTT and Workflow until more advanced launcher tasks are developed. This app packs a punch, though. Really useful one to have in your productivity quiver.

Previously Purchased Features Must Be Paid For to Unlock
by aalexan1 on 2018/03/28 06:48
What the hell? Features that I previously paid for to unlock, specifically multiple widgets, now must be purchased again to unlock. That's BS! Looking for a comparable app. This is ridiculous!
Special Launcher Does Not Work
by uteasip on 2018/03/10 22:57
Using the free version I drove around several hours trying to create launchers to take me back to a previously visited location (at each of which I had created a Special Launcher which I thought would have saved the GPS coordinates of that location so I could later activate the Launcher from my Notifications and be presented with a map and verbal directions to return me to the spot. I tried both GoogleMaps and Waze. When I would leave a location where I had created a Launcher and try to get directions back to that location the app would just give me a map and directions to my current location. The concept is good and the function would be very useful to me IF it worked but it does not work and I could find no instructions to help determine if I was doing something wrong. I’d give a zero rating if that were possible because apps that don’t work just don’t belong in the App Store!

by Busterbob59 on 2018/02/12 10:38
I like this Launcher Widget. I’m a die-hard Android user and am learning iOS simply because I have purchased the iPad Pro 12 Inch for digital design work. Honestly, I am also a techie and find I am freaking out because of the inability to customize my iPad with a look and feel I love (Such a wonderful feature of Android). THIS APP PROVIDES A ‘SOLUTION’, But sadly it is NOT the same experience you will find on every Android device. Hopefully, I will be awed with the design capability to my iPad Pro and become a lover of everything iOS, But so far this app is the only thing I’ve found that allows anything close to android. Thanks for creating this and allowing iOS users an option for some customization. Blessings to all.
Almost there
by Rahabib on 2018/02/12 02:28
I have two issues, one being the app, the other is just Apple. First, I can't add any app that is installed. My main bookmark manager app can't be added. I am not sure why. You would figure that any app that is installed could be added with just basic launch capabilities. Second, Apple makes it so widgets have to be swiped right from main notification screen to seen. I know there is nothing the developer can do, but it make the launcher a bit less convenient to use. I am a forced Android convert and I was going this would get me close to some of the customization I could do on it. Unfortunately, it falls a bit short. Not entirely the fault of the developer, it's Just the limitation of iOS.

My absolute favorite app
by R25s on 2017/11/05 03:50
I try a lot of apps. I'll get really excited about an app I saw on the App Store or heard about from a friend or podcast and try it. And I usually use it for a few days or even a few weeks before I lose interest because it only does a couple useful things or I realize it doesn't really do what I need. But Launcher has been my absolute favorite app from the moment I downloaded it a couple years ago. And it continues to add features that make it so much easier to do the most important things I need to do on my phone. With one swipe, I have everything I need just a click away. I can call my husband, get directions home, text my favorite people, go right to a specific web page, turn on/off my lights, Shazam a song I hear on the radio or in a store, or check Facebook instantaneously. I can set up separate launchers for work vs home. I can even set them up based on time of day so I can quickly do the things I need to do when I wake up, go to bed, and all day in between. There have been a couple times when I had trouble adding a launcher, so I contacted the developer, and he was super responsive in adding access to the app I was looking for, and every time there's an update, I find even cooler ways I can shortcut my workflows. It is so rare to find an app that exceeds my expectations. But Launcher does that every day. And it saves me a TON of time, which is invaluable.
Thank you! To the genius developer who came up with these amazing time savers
by DJSKIP2010 on 2017/12/11 16:45
Wow! Is all the comes to mind when tried a few years ago. My iPhone broke without a warranty, And could not replace with new one for a year and a half. Decided to reinstall and try out pro version and my Wows! Are tripled at not how much smoother and quick it is, but am amazed at the large number of new and more efficient things you guys have added; especially for the magic launcher for timer. Now if my watch is dead and want to set a timer, I don’t have to double click the home button, find the app The timer is on, then daouble click to go back to my apple nusuc, Facebook, etc., I can just slide down, then left and shows timer; of which is still counting time and showing it counting inside the widget. Amazing! Thank you for saving me lots of time throughout the day, and keeping my accidents on a bike down dramatically cuz of me trying to check msgs or mess with phone more than I should be when riding on-the-go.
Great app for minimization
by pkondo on 2017/11/13 21:14
I bought this app awhile back. I had used Launch Center Pro but I have to admit that was way too confusing for me. I wanted something very simple that I could use to start an app or start a group text message. I recently bought an iPad Pro (using ios11) to replace my laptop for 90% of my needs. However, I also made the conscious decision to minimize my Homescreen as I hate clutter. I’d rather do a search for apps than fish through multiple home screens. I just set up multiple Launcher actions that help significantly with my issues. I have multiple widgets so I can quickly send both single and group text messages. No more going to the Message app and doing a search or scrolling down. I also have actions to access common items like TuneIn radio and Pocket which I would never want to put in my dock even though I use them frequently. I want my dock to be filled with mission critical apps. I love having multiple widgets which helps me organize all my actions. With this app, I’m actually able to have a 1 (just 1) Homescreen with no apps on it. All apps are either in my dock and anything else can be searched for or it’s one swipe to get to the widgets. Lastly, I also have to be honest here. I mainly wrote this review because one of the first reviews I just read panned the app based on not even trying it.
Fast Access to Important Apps
by Brad Isaac on 2017/11/17 00:37
I was hesitant at first to buy because I thought it would just be a way to tap to open an app. But I eventually found my way. And glad I did. This will offer to launch an app at a specific location or specific time. It will hide apps from the today screen based on the time or your location. For example, I was always forgetting to launch my timekeeper app when I arrived at a client's with Launcher, it now happens automatically. Forget to launch your task list for a review? Set it to launch for a noon review every day. In addition, excellent support. I emailed developer about a problem app that crashed on launch. He got back to me within 1 day with a workaround that got the app to launch!

Very useful. Stable.
by DrBan3 on 2017/09/21 15:52
I’ve spoken with the dev about this previously, and he has said that keeping the Setting App in the stable was more up to the dev team at Apple. Okay... I can understand that. Though it was weird that at one point it was working on the iPad but not phone. Aaanyway, I really like the app and it keeps my home screen looking clean. If there’s one thing I’d really like to see the app dev do, is remove the redundant names of the launchers on their UI. We don’t need to see “launcher 1” “launcher 2” at the top. What would be better, instead, would be the names that the user chooses, which is placed below that particular widget. Putting that on the top would look cleaner, save space and be more useful.
Highly recommended!!
the power of launch center pro but updated often!
by kolbyk on 2017/06/27 02:40
Update June 2017: Launcher continues to amaze me. It has now surpassed and outpaced it's competitors. More so, the developer is quick to respond to issues and takes suggestions seriously. A few months ago I suggested adding location/time based alerts and guess what? He added them! This app saves me crazy amounts of time every day. It's tight integration with Workflow and other apps allows me to create a new hub for my daily work. ---- It does pretty much everything launch center pro does but is updated often.
I absolutely love Launcher
by Blakejp on 2017/06/23 23:04
It has continued to grow and grow in functionality, and it freed me to arrange my home screen in the most aesthetically pleasing way. I don't need to worry about what's on the front page because every app I could possibly want to use on a moments notice is available at a swipe. Super interesting use cases from a workflow point of view keep popping up as well. Very happy to support this developer with his more than fair in app purchases. Just a supremely satisfying app - thank you!
I love it! But except for one thing...
by CCLG041994 on 2017/12/11 03:26
I tried the free version first and I must say that I love it. No app can do what this app can do. To add on top of it, it's easy to use. However, one suggestion I would put out is the ability to put the widget name where the LAUNCHER label is, maybe have some color coding too? Don't get me wrong, I love it, but in my opinion, I'd rather see the titles on top. Thank you for hearing me out! PS, I wouldn't mind paying to see that extra layer customization added of this already awesome launcher!
Life saver!
by bradtwotrees on 2017/12/28 15:50
Absolutely an essential app, this is a must-have. Even the free version is loaded with enough features to make life SO much easier. Developer quickly responds to bug reports and requests to enable an app to be Launch-able. I upgraded to the Pro version for what I feel is a very small price and am extremely satisfied. As one who has 270 apps on my iPhone, this is one of the best implemented and well behaved apps I have. Get it!
Great app and it keeps getting better!
by Mhobizal on 2017/09/16 22:59
I'm surprised at the people that are complaining to have to pay to upgrade. I do not paying for quality! I've used Launcher for almost 2 years. I love it! I just found the Apple Watch functionality today and love that too! I've only paid once so far and look forward to upgrading to multiple widgets when I need it. And yes I'm willing to pay for this!
It saves time
by ThaiUser on 2018/11/08 07:56
Apple's current way of getting things done work but isn't the most efficient way. I'm finding that Launcher helps overcome some of these problems and makes doing daily things easier and faster. I especially like the time and location based triggers. And the recent Siri triggers are great, pity Apple has worked hard to ensure they don't operate without user Face confirmations.
iOS 12, still no dark background for widgets
by Just_Me_Too56657 on 2019/04/01 09:18
I know that Appe (ugh...), forces developers to change great features to become unusable ones, just like the CPU and memory ones in this app.
Love it
by Floyd1327 on 2018/09/08 14:37

Fabulous utility now even better with Siri Shortcuts
by bobsilver1 on 2018/10/18 18:31
I’ve been a longtime user of Launcher. It’s been one of the most useful apps I’ve ever bought. There are few developers that put the time and love into improving their apps that Cromulent does. And it shows. If you are looking for a way to speed up access to apps and a variety of other shortcuts Launcher is the way to go.
Favorite launcher

I’ve used a lot of launchers from the App Store but none have been as responsive as this app. The support team quickly respond to issues and questions. I appreciate all the ways I can customize icons in the app’s widget and how many apps are supported in this launcher. Other launchers don’t support as many apps as this one does.

I use Launcher as a shortcut to make calls and send texts from Google Voice, which has no favorites integration, using GV Connect which is a launchable app. It also works great with my Apple Watch enabling me to create shortcuts for calls and launching Apple Music playlist. Setup is simple and it works flawlessly. I highly recommend it

Love it, keeps getting better, listens to customers
by utrph77004 on 2017/06/18 20:47
Have to say I have paid for Pro a while back, and also given the developer more than 1 tip because he keeps updating, adding new features, and actually listens to his customers. (The time based App reminders in particular.) There are "copy cat" apps on the App Store. Don't go for them. This one is absolutely the best and keeps getting better. The "cheap" whiners on here have no idea how to support app developers. Many bigger companies have switched to subscription models, while this one has not. Kudos to the developer. This app puts Launch Center Pro to shame.
Junk
by massolteron on 2017/06/24 06:00
As with everything else Apple Watch related, this app is junk. As others have pointed out, the pricing is ridiculous and the developer should heed the comments from their stakeholders. Every response from this specific developer is a retort of defensiveness rather than listening, and appreciating. It's called quality standards; no, actually it's called customer service and if you're not ready to Open yourself up to critique forward momentum slows. Read a book on business practice and learn a few things.
Awesome customer service
by PI3141596 on 2018/09/16 21:01
I had an issue with version 3.1.5 and not being able to load a widget with music launchers. I sent an email to support (on a Sunday afternoon!) and heard back from Greg within 10 minutes with a work-around and the news of a new version fixing this problem. Customer support like this is priceless.
This app is phenomenal!!!
by RyBread22 on 2019/02/23 19:43
I have only had this app for a day, but it has seriously increased my productivity ten fold!! On top of the fact that the customer support responds to your questions very quickly and efficiently. I don’t even know how I have been even using my phone prior to this app!!
Best App Purchase...
by cmtopaz on 2019/06/11 00:59
I am very pleased with what apps I’m able to add to Launcher. The convenience of being able to have a shortcut for my main apps from the locked screen without having to go into my phone and find them, is wonderful... This is an app purchase I do not regret.
Really sweet!
by BennSKirk on 2019/11/02 15:33
Still awesome! The latest update re-enables getting directly to specific places in the Settings app by using Shortcuts. Works really well! I put Launcher in the bottom (sticky) row of apps, and use 3D touch to get to 7 apps quickly. Really sweet! And Cromulent is responsive and helpful. Just get it!
I'll update to 5 stars once this is resolved in a future update.

more or less an easy to use app. the icons don’t display properly sometimes IF i add them with the green plus + arrow, but do fine if i click on the app (like i’m going to edit it) and choose the check box when finished. 3 stars for that and the ugly “Launcher, Launcher 2, Launcher 3 title bars in the widget. would be 4.9 stars if i could get rid of that or replace the widget title bars with the widget’s explicit name.

Apple Watch launcher call return to app.
by Hemmy!! on 2018/08/14 18:21
For the Apple Watch launcher quick call function, is there a way after call out from launcher remain in the call screen instead back to launcher? I could like to easily to end call once I dial out from launcher. It’s is very good app anyway, thanks a lot.

Doesn’t launch setting apps
by NajiDahi on 2017/12/09 19:18
I was on 10.3.2 and this app used to launch functions within settings. I was able to launch auto-lock directly and change the time it took to turn the screen off. I updated to 11.2 and launcher doesn’t do that anymore. In fact, it doesn’t launch any function within settings. It only launches phone calls. This app has become worthless to me.
Quick Messages

Excellent app for automating messages if you have a multitude of messages and lots of contacts. Also automates other activities in other apps quite easily!
Functionality is good but the UI could use some work
by Xboxgamer7120 on 2018/11/20 18:57
The app works well and does its job; its very helpful, but the user interface of the app seems a bit dry and lackluster. Also, individual launcher complications for functions could be helpful

For those of you questioning for not working on iOS 10...it works great. Although miss the direct dial. Now I have to choose call shortcut and also tap the pop up to call. Before iOS 10 never had the pop up.

Thanks!

AMAZING!!!

I hope they listen, it's ios 12, and they already (more correctly - Finally), adopting Dark Mode, themselves.

by sho2k on 2019/01/04 21:28
This is an excellent app to allow you to put your favorite contacts (family, co workers, etc) and apps that you use most often in the same place.

I had an issue with version 3.1.5 and not being able to load a widget with music launchers. I sent an email to support (on a Sunday afternoon!) and heard back from Greg within 10 minutes with a work-around and the news of a new version fixing this problem. Customer support like this is priceless.

Love the app itself
by macmomma1 on 2018/08/11 18:10
As a former android user the launcher makes the transition over to Apple easier, so I bought the full version. However it’s not working in the family share; it shows I have it, but when my husband tries to download it it only does the free.

Gives me quick and easy access to infrequent but important apps like Friends and Family and also estimated drive times for home and work. I use this app every day!

Highly recommended!!
the power of launch center pro but updated often!
by kolbyk on 2017/06/27 02:40
Update June 2017: Launcher continues to amaze me.
Nice to have a very functional and clean app with a responsive developer.

by Blakejp on 2017/06/23 23:04
It has continued to grow and grow in functionality, and it freed me to arrange my home screen in the most aesthetically pleasing way.

Get it!

I appreciate all the ways I can customize icons in the app’s widget and how many apps are supported in this launcher. Other launchers don’t support as many apps as this one does.
My most used app
by RunJer on 2017/11/07 03:43
I use Launcher as a shortcut to make calls and send texts from Google Voice, which has no favorites integration, using GV Connect which is a launchable app. It also works great with my Apple Watch enabling me to create shortcuts for calls and launching Apple Music playlist. Setup is simple and it works flawlessly. I highly recommend it
My 2nd most favorite app
by dugnino on 2018/07/06 20:55
I recommend the pro version which has 35 launchable apps on notification widget screen. Using Launcher, I can quickly startup any of my Pythonista scripts from the iOS notification widget screen without first having to start the Pythonista app. Launcher saves me valuable time and allows me to be more productive.
I'll update to 5 stars once this is resolved in a future update.
wonderful...
by WTF_Actual on 2019/07/01 17:40
more or less an easy to use app. the icons don’t display properly sometimes IF i add them with the green plus + arrow, but do fine if i click on the app (like i’m going to edit it) and choose the check box when finished. 3 stars for that and the ugly “Launcher, Launcher 2, Launcher 3 title bars in the widget. would be 4.9 stars if i could get rid of that or replace the widget title bars with the widget’s explicit name.
This is the one!
by Ken4863 on 2020/04/08 03:27
Are use it access my monitoring devices on a VPN network so I don’t have to peck in an IP address. Not only that I have a pic of the device to make it easier to spot on the screen. Get the full version! It’s well worth it. Good job developer!!
Must Have!
by Kening on 2019/10/05 21:00
There is no other app (..and I have a lot), that has been used more or has been more useful overall than Launcher. Put all those apps you need at your fingertips. Easy to see, easy
Quick Messages
by Catbrain1951 on 2018/07/11 18:51
Excellent app for automating messages if you have a multitude of messages and lots of contacts.
Works Great
by Cook_L on 2017/10/11 03:57
For those of you questioning for not working on iOS 10...it works great. Although miss the direct dial. Now I have to choose call shortcut and also tap the pop up to call. Before iOS 10 never had the pop up.
Some apps in list don't open.
by Zuwapa on 2017/09/05 03:50
Some apps in the list of available apps for the launcher don't function, or launch. *** Update. All apps appear to be working as they should. Thank you!
Very pleased!
by ffemtp4039 on 2017/11/08 15:52
This app is a wonderful option. It is constantly updated and works great! I have used it for years and would certainly recommend it.
