Lose the ads!

I’ve been a consistent Two Dots player for years, and I’ve never had a forced ad until today. I’ll probably stop playing if they keep coming.
...and beautiful, too
by dots good on 2020/01/17 02:38
Speaking from level 1554, not enough has been said about the beautiful, clever, graphic design of Two Dots. Many games out there are a garish assault on the eyes; not so with TD...its journey through worlds of cut-paper style illustration and use of an ever changing assortment of cleverly animated dots is as soothing and amusing as it is challenging.
You can only save levels if you have Facebook
by Theyana on 2020/01/17 01:28
This game seemed fun until I realized that to save your progress you have to have a Facebook account which I don’t have! They need to make their own login ! Sad sad....
Highly addictive in a good way

I love this game and can’t stop playing it. Only downside is I spend way too much money on coins, but I can’t help it! 💸💸💸

Excellent strategic mind game for relaxing!
by Utahswoosh on 2020/01/16 21:56
I’ve come to enjoy Two Dots not as a lucky move game, but one that takes a bit of thought and strategy. The extra bit is that is not stressful, but relaxing mind exercise. No pressure, just a thought provoking game that allows for relaxing while keeping the mind active. Nicely designed, and simple strategic play.

Love the game, but last update causes it to crash repeatedly.
My therapy
by AutyChanel on 2020/01/16 21:39
I absolutely love Two Dots. It’s one of my forms of therapy. If I am having a rough day & want to come home from work to relax, I cozy on the couch & play Two Dots. It instantly comes my mind. I believe it’s made my mind sharper as well!
Another game designed to frustrate you into spending money... 🤬
by TheDrumBubba on 2020/01/16 19:57
I am so disappointed in the state of mobile gaming these days. This game, like many, is designed to carefully frustration you and annoy the player into purchasing coined to get power ups. The power ups are what make the game fun and enjoyable. Without them there are “normal difficulty” levels scattered throughout the game that will suddenly become almost impossible to pass without grinding for days, or using power ups. It’s not that the game can’t be played without the power ups. It just has incredibly frustrating moments without them. My recommendation, play a game from a company with better ethics. Stop giving money to these types of unethical business practices.
Continuous fun
by Simplyamazing247 on 2020/01/16 12:51
A friend of mine told me about this game a few months ago and ever since I began playing I haven’t been able to put the game down. I love the difficulty the games gives the player. I also love the extra side games that pop up from time to time, seasonal or other wise.

More Scavenger Hunt please!
by Addicted!!  on 2020/01/15 20:09
To be honest I only like playing the Scavenger Hunt portion of the game. So please add more scavenger hunt levels. The rest of the game is boring and tedious. And it’s annoying that there are multiple side or mini games. With the exception to Scavenger Hunt, the rest seem the same.

Not the game I saw on the instagram ad
by sonewart on 2020/01/15 16:37
I downloaded this game bcz Instagram showed me an ad for two dots. Showing me I can connect the dots without overlapping the lines to create an image. Image like a boat or house, etc. But I am only connecting dots only here. I’ve played dots games before didn’t really want this concept. Does the image part come later? Or was it false advertisement?
Best game ever
by JGML72713 on 2020/01/15 04:47
I love this game. I escape until for land and play this for hours before bed at night. It’s so addicting!!
Love it! Especially the Scavenger Hunt
by agratz90 on 2020/01/15 04:05
Such a great app. Simple yet addicting. The limited release game within a game scavenger hunt might be the best part. PLEASE make a separate app with just the scavenger hunt!
Little Village

I am obsessed with the bonus game of finding objects in the little village. I wish that game was ALL the time. I play Dots when I can’t play the other. Please Dot maker, make a village game by itself!!!

Fun game but takes a while
by lilchilisf on 2020/01/14 04:12
I love this game I think I’ve played it for over 5 years now. The only critiques I would make are for when you finally meet all of the goals/ tasks for the level and still have moves left the lotuses take so long for you to move on. The same can be said for after you’ve made a move and lotuses come in and it takes a while for you to actually play. Yes they may be helpful with the level but sometimes now it’s as if you’re half playing and the game is playing for you. It just takes longer now and I’d rather be the one making moves than for waiting for the game to be done with the lotuses that activate gems that activate bombs etc. I think it’d be great if that process was sped up like times ten so the player can really enjoy the game instead of watching it being played for them.

Levels are unbeatable without $$$
by mimi1284949 on 2020/01/13 23:57
Uninstalling on the low level of 71 because it has already become abundantly clear that certain levels are unbeatable without watching a zillion ads (if/when they’re available to watch) OR buying items (such as booster boxes) on an ongoing basis.
Great game

Great game.
by Trois Lee Cat on 2020/01/13 01:40
I’ve really enjoyed this game except for one thing... every other time I choose to watch a video for a free life or booster box it freezes up and I have to close and reopen the app again. Super annoying.
Getting worse
by 8 lbs on 2020/01/13 01:38
I loved this game for a challenging, clever puzzle, but the win streak updates have taken out much of the fun. So well crafted and witty, but it’s getting a little too Vegas.
Money money money
by SimonInCA on 2020/01/13 01:09
I quickly got hooked by this game, but the constant asking for buying finally got to me. I could see how the developers were guiding the game so you would eventually have to pay money to win. Too bad. Deleted.
Love Love Love (except the Evil Fireballs)
by Cocopari on 2020/01/13 00:47
Love it. Great strategy and luck mix - even if some levels are almost impossible without some booster. But now with the doors and videos, it's getting easier to get boosters. Also, I hate the fire balls with all my heart!! Thankfully Two Dots provided a fire extinguisher and I bought it - totally worth the money. Also, I was up to level 360, but I hadn't backed it up. So when my phone died, I had to start over at level 280! 😖 **Update 2019: Still completely in love with my Two Dots. I’m up to the 800 level, but it seems my journey will never end because the evil masterminds keep adding more levels.♥️

Enjoy this. But of course it eats up time. Especially like the “Search Puzzles”. Also like the different varieties of games. Can move to a shorter version to take a break from a hard level. I like the incentives of piñatas etc.

Tons of bugs right now. Almost every time I get an opportunity to get a booster box my screen goes black and I have to power off my phone and turn it back on. This seems like it's happening more now than ever before. Will it get fixed? Other than that I think the game is brilliant and the graphics are beautiful.
Win Streaks - ugh
by ::V:: on 2020/01/11 22:15
I used to love this game but the Win Streak bonuses have ruined it by making it too easy. I just powered through the last 100+ levels in a week (finishing all 2525 levels) because the win streak bonuses make it nearly impossible to not beat a level. I’m sure some people like this, but for me it took away the challenge that I used to enjoy. I would like an option to turn off the Win Streak bonuses.
Just gets better
by Postlakebound on 2020/01/11 17:42

I’ve just recently become acquainted with TwoDots and it’s wonderful. Many different puzzles keep the quest interesting....whomever put this together has to be a genius ! It’s nearly impossible not to become addicted. 👍. I continue to think Two Dots is wonderful, great fun ! I continue to have great fun with TD’s ......have shared this wonderful game with friends and they are loving it , as well !
A unique blend
by warmer-part-of-winter on 2020/01/11 06:29
This little puppy starts out fairly simplistic, however, it slowly develops into an increasingly challenging strategy. This is the part no one seems to mention, this is not a free game. It becomes expensive without really seeming that way. In a very short period of time, this game cost me 3000.00. So, fair warning, there’s nothing cheap going on here.
Used to be better...
by olivia399 on 2020/01/11 05:11
I really enjoyed this game initially. But they are adding WAY too many components it’s too busy. There are too many options of levels to complete. They overloaded the app with too many updates.
Ditch the winning streaks!
by Vjm56 on 2020/01/11 04:34
I’ve been playing this game for a long time, but these new winning streaks make it way too easy. And there’s no way to opt out except to sacrifice a game to get out of the stupid streak. Hate it.
Puzzle game… high level GREED
by Pgmaawh on 2020/01/11 04:01
This is a fun puzzle game. I give it 2-stars because it is fun and challenging. However, with every win, you earn coins YOU CANNOT USE!!!! How do you use them??? You have to BUY the PRIVILEGE to use the coins YOU EARN BY WINNING!!!!! FED UP with the excessive greed of game developers and producers!!
Squares don’t clear
by lucyintheskywithrubies on 2020/01/11 03:57
I loved this game until squares stopped clearing their respective colored dots. You work hard to get squares to line up, match the square, and ONLY the square clears. You go through so many lives when you shouldn’t need to. Very frustrating glitch.
Fun
by jaack731 on 2020/01/11 02:21
Fun game and interesting mechanics! getting three stars is definitely too easy, though; stricter move restrictions would make it more fun and challenging!

Not What Was Advertised
by Shanwing on 2020/01/10 22:58
How do these apps get away with advertising something completely different than the game?! Saw an ad on Facebook, thought the “complete the picture without retracing or lifting your finger” game looked fun... well that’s not what I got. This game is fun, but not what was advertised as.

Issues with coins
by jmp24446889 on 2020/01/10 12:43
Let me start by saying I love this game. It’s fun, challenging, and a good way to pass time. However, I am thoroughly ticked about the coin and “mine” situation. This game forces you to make in-app purchases in order to collect coins to buy things to help you in the tougher levels such as booster boxes, color blasters, etc. The “mine” only fills up to fifty coins and then you can’t collect any more coins until you spend $3 of your own money. I attempted to use some of my coins and see if I could then collect more without making the purchase but sadly you can’t. Once the mine is “full” there’s no way to empty it or get any more coins unless you make that three dollar purchase. I conceded once and made the purchase just to see what would happen and sure enough, I had coins for all of about ten seconds before my mine was full and again would’ve had to spend $3 more dollars for more coins. This game is GREAT! This particular issue makes it not great. If it wasn’t for that I would’ve given it five stars. I’ve played this game in the past and it wasn’t like this so idk who thought to make it the way it is now but it was a terrible decision. One star!
Fun Game That Makes You Think
by Russetmom on 2020/01/10 12:32
While at times you progress due to luck, the more you advance, the more you have to develop a strategy. I enjoy the challenge of overcoming new obstacles and playing a game at the same time.
Fun Game, But Not Worth the BS
by Triska on 2020/01/10 11:46
Honestly the game is fun and challenging, but the most exhausting part of using Two Dots is trying to navigate INTO the playing arena. Between multiple, annoying pop-ups and forced clicks into random “new features or rewards,” it is an intentionally frustrating design that feels wholeheartedly focused on ads and revenue. Maybe that’s smart for the company, but also a major downside for users.
Love this app
by Mj Assassin on 2020/01/10 05:29
This app is pretty neat. I have all the apps by my dot co and they’re all addicting I wish they’d come out with a solo hidden objects app. They did a really great job on that feature. Highly recommend especially if you’re bored and need something to occupy your time.
Black screen?
by Eowyn's bard on 2020/01/10 00:39
I enjoy this game, but lately I’ve noticed it crashing into a black screen when I am moving on to a new screen or game. It is now happening often enough that I’m hoping the developers will see this and fix the problem.
I like it!
by SaintsMom on 2020/01/09 19:17

Great for a while
by jayronron on 2020/01/09 16:44
The game was great up until a point. Good mix of difficult and easy/fun. Then it just got ridiculous. It wasn’t even really playable. It wasn’t difficult, it was just impossible. Pretty sure it’s described as free but if you play it free for too long they force you into a “pay to play” position.
streak awards have ruined this game
by Jeff....... on 2020/01/09 06:23
i have stopped playing this game. will check back after next update to see if they’ve addressed. i don’t want additional help on future levels because i have a winning streak. this ruins the integrity of the game. we need an option to turn this off. i want to figure out the puzzles myself, i don’t want hints and help.

Increasingly infuriating app
by palamur on 2020/01/09 01:09
Ok. I am addicted to this game. I love it! It’s simple, fun, with just the right amount of difficulty. But my god, it’s like the developers are seeing how annoying they can make this app until I’ll quit. I was fine when they added purchases. I was fine with the daily updates. I was fine when they added “mines” after each level that are just there to get you to buy stuff. But now they have added “win streaks” that force you to use powerups even if you don’t want to, the effect being all the levels become too easy. It’s be great if the streaks were optional but...no. This game is just getting flashier and busier with every update, pretty soon it will be unplayable.

by NotVapid on 2020/01/08 22:34

Unique
by bridget9865 on 2020/01/08 17:52
You know when you need to pass time? Play this game. It’s perfect for when you’re feeling bored. Not only that, but it’s so unique. It’s different from any other apps I’ve had and with so many different levels, it keeps me occupied when there is nothing else to do. My favorite thing about this game is the holiday scavenger hunts. The only thing that would make Two Dots better is if they had a new scavenger hunt every few weeks.
Win Streak makes it boring
by snapfro on 2020/01/08 07:19
I love this game, but the win streak bonus is kind of ruining it for me—it’s not challenging enough with getting all the power ups automatically. If there were a way to turn this off or opt out of it, I’d give 5 stars for sure.
Love it but too many micro transactions
by Walnugget on 2020/01/08 04:33
I discovered this game a while ago (about 3 years ago) and when I started playing, there were fewer micro transactions - now there are so many the game is almost unplayable. I hate how you have to pay money to access the entire object search maps and to access coins you earn in game. The game is so beautifully designed, but omg, the micro transactions are such blatantly obnoxious cash grabs - so much so (and it kind of pains me to say this) that I want to delete the app just because it isn’t enjoyable anymore. It would be one thing if I could just pay $12 for he game and get all its features instead literally infinite money to keep accessing things. It’s so disappointing to see a game I once valued as beautiful and relaxing actually become stressful for all of the reasons a game shouldn’t be stressful. A game should be stressful because it’s challenging or intense, not because I’m constantly bothered by requests for money for this features or that feature, or because I’m barred from a WHOLE SECTION of the game because I don’t want to keep paying more money
It’s a fun distraction
by mimamommy on 2020/01/08 04:22
I started this game just for the fun of it, playing when I feel like it. It’s tricky and makes you think... kinda like chess-ish. Good fun!
Warning: Don’t Spend Your Money!
by Justin N Osos on 2020/01/08 01:24
I’ve been playing since it’s introduction and am currently at level 2500 waiting for the update to give me new levels. So, my one star review might seem hypocritical, but my problem is not with the gameplay or design. They’re top rate. My one star review is because of how they run the business end of things. You can earn crates by watching ads, or you can get the through purchases. 1/3 of the time the ad never starts and you lose the life you were about to play. The rewards in the crates can be just as frustrating. Often times, whatever little advantage you’ve earned through watching ads or paid cash for can be eaten up by the gameplay. For example, here’s three dots that will remove all the other dots of that color when you use them. Oh wait sorry they just gotten blown up and are gone now before you can make your first move. You paid for those things and the game just ate them. You’re not purchasing crates. You’re gambling money or time that you’ll be able to use them. Kind of a rip off, or, at best, thoughtless design.

I discovered Two Dots quite a while ago, and I have come to love this game. Unlike other games of the same genre, it’s not pure luck. As you play the game and advance levels, you learn how to strategize. One of my favorite parts about Two Dots’ setup is that boosters and cheats are easily obtained for free. If you need a little help on one of the harder levels, you can use a cheat without worrying about consuming your one-time allowance. The design is clean, sleek, and easy to navigate. I love that they don’t automatically give in-depth tutorials on new dots and what they do. It’s interesting to play around with it and discover the mechanics for yourself. For those of you left confused and needing more of an explanation, there’s a tutorials tab that gives you more of an idea what you’re dealing with. The game has different sections, which is an attractive concept considering I didn’t really like the monster dot section. The sections after that have been much more enjoyable to play, and I haven’t encountered a demonic dot since. 😈 The game developers provide updates with new content every week, which both squashes annoying bugs and gives players new material. Tom sum it up, I’m addicted.
Latest couple updates reducing minimalist charm
by Erinnium on 2019/12/16 15:18
I’ve been playing TwoDots for 4 years now and I love the game. It’s minimalist, very relaxing, and I play it almost every night as I’m falling asleep. However, the last couple updates have been pretty terrible. There are more and more popups asking you to purchase coins, making it so that every time you open the app or finish a level you have to close out 3 different windows before actually getting to the game or home screen. The latest annoyance, the “win streak”, offers terrible power-ups that often prevent you from getting squares from the start of a level and thus make it unwinnable. When asked “Are you sure you want to give up? You will lose your win streak!” I often am grateful to lose it because the power ups have cost me so many games. The more popups and attachments and bells and whistles you add to the game the more charm it loses since one of the biggest draws is how minimalist it is. The past year has seen update after update challenge this minimalism, making the game less relaxing and more stressful. Because of this, it has become harder to play before bed and I have been using the app much less than in the past. If you don’t want to lose long-time players I would advise minimizing the in-game popups and ditching the win streaks altogether. I don’t need a “piñata party” every time I play and I definitely don’t need a “win streak” meter.
So fun!
by hanniemichaust on 2019/10/12 15:05
I’ve been playing this game for a few years because it is so addicting and fun! Each update and addition has only improved the game and made it more enjoyable. I love that you can choose when to watch an ad, and that for the main game play you don’t have to purchase anything to continue. I only have two critiques. The first is that the levels have gotten significantly harder somewhere around level 1500, where even introductory levels to new dots are difficult to win in the first couple tries, as well as the levels that aren’t labeled as hard or ultra hard. They should be much simpler and easier to win. Being stuck on a level for a month or more is discouraging and sometimes makes me take a break from the game for a while. The other critique I have is that I would love to see the hidden objects mini game turn into its own game. I like it SO MUCH better than any other hidden objects games I’ve found on the App Store, but when it shows up in Two Dots I beat the levels quickly and have to pay to play past level 2. I’d love to see this as it’s own game. Aside from those two things this game is the best in the market!
Most Important Tip: Keep Trying
by Ratskul on 2018/07/03 18:53
When I first started playing this game, around when it first came out, some of the levels seemed impassible, and eventually I got frustrated and deleted it. I started playing again a few months ago and it seems different in a better way. I feel like the levels are more randomized and aren’t exactly the same each time you play the same one. On some of them it might take dozens of attempts, but I feel like if I play a level long enough, eventually I’ll get a random free booster or something will happen that will finally let me beat it. I’ve learned to just keep trying, even on the ultra hard levels, and eventually I’ll pass it. My girlfriend is in the high 800s of this game now (I’m only on 178) so I know I just gotta keep trying! One suggestion for the makers though - I think it would be cool if you could buy the “infinite lives” perk and be able to activate it at a later time so you could wait for that perfect moment when you actually have a bunch of time to kill like on a long flight or something.
Used to be F2P with ads. Now it's unlimited pay-for play.
by Eric W. Stone on 2017/10/11 06:51
I'm a long-suffering TwoDots player, and I've more or less accepted that booster boxes are required to beat certain levels. So I watched to watch ads. Every time I the game decided I was allowed to, I'd watch an ad. I watched ads for extra lives. I watched ads for booster boxes. I watched ads to open a second daily bonus door. I would've watched several minutes of ads for 10 booster boxes if I could. Now the ads are gone. I don't have $5 or $10 a month to sink into this game. I just play less. I've been playing since day one. I might delete this app. One additional complaint: on some levels (anchor-based ones in particular), the computer decides when to spawn anchors, and it leaves you with a lot of very frustrating near-misses. Success depends on luck. Randomness is introduced into what is purportedly a game of skill. It makes me want to tear my hair out. I don't, of course, this is a silly phone game. But you get the picture. I love this game. I've watched more TwoDots ads than TV commercials in the last year. I think I might speak for a lot of people: We don't have money, but we have eyeballs. Eyeballs you can keep selling to the good folks at Twix and Panda Pop and The Air Force. I don't know how much money this current squeeze has made you, but it's close to costing you my eyeballs and I think a lot more eyeballs.
This new update has messed up everything
by Frustrating 2456 on 2018/01/24 06:19
I used to LOVE this game and spend hours upon hours every tuesday over-completing expeditions to get lucky chests and basecamps. Now, however, the basecamp system has gone haywire. Instead of the expected rewards from each camp. Certain camps will give 6 tickets??? 6 tickets won't even fit on the ledger for extra tickets in an expedition so 3 of those are completely gone to waste. Also, basecamps give out keys now?? I am sorry but keys are completely useless, especially since they give only booster boxes and no other power up. And NOW the booster boxes they give aren't even permanent. Im sorry but if daily doors (which are also overrun with keys) and lucky chests (which only appear by chance during a weekly 48hr window) are the only ways to get useful powerups now, then I'm done with this game. It was scarce enough already as a free to play player, now its just ridiculous. And another complaint. Why are previous powerups not saved when you uninstall the app, but your progress is saved? I think the items I work hard for should be stored when my phone crashes or gets lost. I had 15 of each powerup that i had saved over months, and when my phone was stolen it was all gone. I love this game but these changes are so disheartening so I will be uninstalling until a patch is made.
Well designed, compelling game
by c4hfam on 2019/05/19 21:13
I’ve been playing this game for years, and for the most part I like how they update it. I like that they add new level features and combine them with old features. I like that I’m limited to five lives (three for rewind games) to prevent me from playing for too long. I like that there are new challenges three times a week since I stay caught up on the levels at 3 stars so I wouldn’t otherwise get new content most weeks. I don’t like the bonuses that apply only to playing new levels since staying caught up means I often have no new levels available to earn the bonuses before they expire. If any educators are reading this, this game demonstrates lots of great features to gamify learning. In early levels, you get rewarded for things that are required as a matter of course in later levels, like learning to count before you add and learning to add before you multiply. It’s also intrinsically compelling and it includes extrinsic rewards to keep you pushing forward. Well done, developers!
Heartbroken
by Creophoto on 2018/11/17 22:14
This app is the ultimate lesson in economics. What was once a beautiful, calming, and well designed piece of art is now nothing more than a thinly vailed money grab. I have been here since the beginning. Before Two Dots there was just Dots, and I can remember how stoked I was to get a 700+ score in the timed mode of that game. That was, sheesh, probably 5 years ago. That they’ve kept me on the hook for so long with a 2D phone game is nothing short of brilliant. When they put TwoDots out, I was floored. I was continually amazed by the frequent, creative expansions on the same basic principle. Slowly but surely however, I began to notice a trend. Victory could only be had after a certain number of ads were seen. I would be kept one move away from victory until I was on my very last life. If I did use a booster, and was on track to win, I would suddenly be given an impossible field to play (must sink 10 anchors, but even after 5 moves no new anchors appear). If I hadn’t used a booster box or seen an ad in some time, I could not win. Those are just a few examples. Somewhere along the way the investors and finance department took control of this team. And it became less about making a fun game anymore about creating insidious ways to coerce micro transactions. You have been warned.
Coins cost way too much as do boosts etc
by Katinkalink on 2019/12/07 13:34
I’m definitely in the addictive stage of this game however, from the gecko I felt that the game charges way too much for the different boosts, yet, the rewards a meager. I have spent way more money on this game that I normally do on games I like, so your objective worked with me. But with that said, it also means I will stop playing at some point because of the monies. It doesn’t sit well with me that I am earning coins and building baskets with the boosts and what not that I had to pay for then have to pay for the coin basket I’ve built.. That’s! I rip off!! And you know it. You must be laughing when deciding what your going to make us pay for. You do give us small daily perks but it’s small compared to the monies you ask for the accessories to beat the levels... For the longest time I have tried not to use any boosts , but it is nearly impossible. Let’s talk about how if I want just 5 extra tries for 9 coins? How bout making it equal, 1 coin for 1 try. Most of the time I only need one more move to beat the game, but I’m sure you know that. Other than the money aspect... I enjoy the game you have built!
New 5th Anniversary Gamemode Bug
by TylerHLS on 2019/06/03 21:31
After fully completing 1 bingo sheet and being about halfway done with all of the bingo levels, after completing a level in the 4th year sheet, my game was stuck and wouldn’t actually complete the level, despite me completing all of the requirements. My game then crashed and now all of my data in the gamemode was gone. I really liked this new gamemode too because I was able to play with new mechanics and listen to new music because I haven’t gotten that far in the main game. Now I’m most likely not going to restart and that gamemode was pretty much the only thing that kept having me come back to the game. It’s pretty irritating to have spent powerups to beat those ultra-hard levels only to have the data over a bug. This is as close to a “major” update that we’ve had in a looong time that benefits ALL players and it’s not even correctly implemented. It even took away the trophy for year 2 that I got. This is a pretty big problem considering they are LIMITED-EDITION
Fun game, shameless pay-to-win
by Derp8104 on 2018/02/02 08:37
Title pretty much says it. Two dots is a great game with a very simple premise complicated by different types of challenges. I'm all for game developers getting theirs, but some levels are downright impossible unless you're incredibly lucky or buy (essentially game breaking) power ups. I mean...some levels will present you with a unique challenge--say "circuit boards"--, then they'll offer to sell you a "circuit breaker" that pretty much wins the level for you. Like I said, shameless pay to win. Also, I’d like to point out that some of their level design is so blatantly geared towards making you use (i.e purchase) power ups. Just painfully obvious. It’s like they design a level, ask themselves “what’s a well balanced number of moves?”, and then subtract 5 from that number. It’s their game, I’m just playing it, they can do whatever they want. But one would hope they’d be a little more sophisticated about it. By the way, I haven’t paid a dime to play this game or use any boosters, but I’d haves paid a one time $4.99 or so to buy a well balanced version. That would not make for a very good revenue stream or business model, would it? Can’t catch any whales that way.
Appreciative / Bug problem on bottom of review
by Ummmmmskaks on 2019/08/12 19:19
I know I’ve left some angry reviews before on this game but at the end of the day I really do appreciate the whole thing. I’ve had this game since I was about 13, and I still play it 8 years later. The way it’s improved over the years is unbelievable. The sounds, objectives, different game options as far as running out of lives and being able to go play something else like expedition. I love how you guys add different features for a limited time so we can experience something different. The item hunts are one of my favorites. And you guys have made it to a point where you reward us with power ups in so many ways, I barely get frustrated if I keep losing lives. Thank you Bug problem: Recently been experiencing some issues when you go back to the games home screen. The loading screen gets stuck and doesn’t change so I have to keep force closing the app to get it to go back to the home screen
What happened??
by Songbyrd911 on 2018/04/01 16:54
I agree with all the other loyal players who are disappointed in the evolution of this game. I’ve been playing Two Dots for over two years and always loved it. It has always been a fun, relaxing, aesthetically pleasing game that’s just challenging enough to not be frustrating. It also allowed the opportunity to earn rewards and boosts without basically requiring you to purchase your way through difficult levels. Now it seems to have been made much more difficult and took away the boosts! The key system really doesn’t do me any good as it takes way longer to earn anything useful, and all the extra tickets and unlimited life stuff really doesn’t help as I tend to play when I get a few minutes free here and there throughout the day and not sit playing for hours at a time. (Unless trying to power through an expedition on a Wednesday night before it ended, which now seems to be an impossible goal as well) Please go back to how it was before, no fun now :( The latest update also seems to have some kind of bug that takes away the sound while playing. Ads still have sound, game randomly decides to go silent.
Great game, wish there would be more free options
by AlejaWeasleyGranger on 2019/07/14 11:42
I really like this game, it’s challenging and has many different game modes so you won’t ever get bored if you have finished all the levels (which I haven’t, haha). However, I wish more of the free options that were there before would come agan. Example: before you could watch a video ad to get a free box at the beginning of the game. They took that feature away and noq you can only watch a video to get an extra life. I’d much rather have the same number of lives and more boxes! Something else that bothers me is the key vs. gold feature. I hate that you can only obtain gold by buying it. And keys only allow you to have one of three different things, that the game changes every now and then. And they are never power ups, only boxes and lives. Even worse, their summer hunt is blocked in levels 3 and 4 unless you unblock them with gold, which is really unfair. I wish they would allow us to buy gold with keys, so that the people who don’t want to buy gold with money can have access to the same parts of the game than those who do.
I absolutely love this game!
by why do you wand a nickname on 2019/10/16 03:56
This game is challenging, fun, addicting and of course frustrating when you get stuck on a level. I discovered this app 3 or 4 years and have been playing it since. I’m still far behind in levels, but I mean the app updates and adds more levels like every single day! I can’t keep up! I love the new mini game. The Halloween soirée (I think that’s what it was called). Please please make a Christmas version or do another Halloween version or general version ASAP!! I loved it because it reminded me of “I Spy”and I loved those books when I was a kid. One thing I don’t like is that you can only play the mini game by unlocking it with the gold coins. I really don’t think that’s fair especially when you have to actually purchase the gold coins if you don’t have any already. I had to buy more gold coins because I didn’t have enough. But I guess that’s Apple stealing more money from consumers. Go figure, capitalism at its finest. Still love the game though.
LOVE IT! Simple, fun, addicting
by jusztina15 on 2018/07/02 05:06
I have been playing this game for the long haul! It’s so great! Clean user face, simple concept, and very creative. I have seen this game go through many updates, and a lot of them have been for the better. It’s such a simple and fun way to play a game for the few minutes you’re able to play games during the day. While I love the simplicity and fun of the game, I’ve seen the updates recently decrease in functionality. Usually the updates are great, but recently, they seem to be rather buggy. Nothing major, but I’m seeing many of the updates not fixing the issue of freezing or force closing. Another issue is the INSANE battery usage of this game. The only reason I do not give it 5 Stars is because of ridiculous amount of battery drainage even from just a level or two. Literally I’ll lose 20-40% battery within a few lives. It HAS to be fixed, please I beg you! And also the start screen bugs and little lag bugs that are seriously making it impossible to enjoy the game.
Imaginative, consistent game exploring new ideas
by The DLF on 2018/12/24 08:41
First off, I have been a die-hard for this game for years. I am (only) around level 800 or so but I was hooked back in the day and would impatiently check for the next updates. This game might actually become the oldest app on your phone because it’s very easy to put it down and pick it up as opposed to a game you get addicted to and then delete a month later. Their creativity is forward-thinking and sometimes their game mechanics are not fully developed. I definitely have less favorite features of the game - like most reviewers, I don’t care for the “keys” function. And as many other people said, I’ll definitely get stuck on a level or bored with a theme (150 levels or so per theme... some are better than others 🙃) and get frustrated enough to stop playing for a month or so. But, they’re often coming up with new ideas, mechanics, and mini games (I LOVE the scavenger hunts!!) to keep it interesting and inspiring. Some people complain that the mechanics try to force you to purchase items to advance in the game. It can be frustratingly challenging sometimes for sure, but for crying out loud, the artists and devs have got to make a living somehow. Also, the ads are optional, which I really prefer to uninvited pop-ups. Overall, you’ll love it, you’ll hate it, it’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cry. And it’s impossible not to adore the quality artwork and soothing soundtracks.

I’m generally loathe to review, but after years of phones and apps downloaded and uninstalled Two Dots has been my one constant. If something is addicting and it consumes my life, it gets deleted. Two Dots is an ideal balance of “I’m obsessed” and “it doesn’t rule my life.” It’s just mindless enough that I can play when I have insomnia and it doesn’t keep me from sleeping eventually, but it challenges me to think differently than I might normally. You get rated out of three stars for each level and I haven’t gone as far as I could have because I like to go back and replay until I get three stars. It’s a fun, frustrating challenge with some of them, but so satisfying once I figure it out! It’s pretty easy to get boosters for free, unless I’m busy I try to watch the ads because a lot of work is put into this app and I think that deserves to be monetized, BUT! You don’t have to watch the ads, unlike a lot of apps. There are also side quests, which is great for when you’re stuck on a level and can’t look at it anymore but you still want to play. Even when I’m not playing, I love watching the app logo change with the seasons. I’m on level 181, which is unimpressive for someone who says they’re obsessed, but c’est la vie! I hope this serves as both encouragement for someone perusing apps AND for the developers. I couldn’t develop something so sleek and engaging, but then again, I was a communications major haha! Kudos.
Money grubbing ruins the experience
by Squintstopher on 2019/12/06 23:26
I love the aesthetics and basic concept of the game. Unfortunately, as so many others have mentioned, eventually most players will hit a point where they will have to spend money to continue playing or beat certain levels (either by buying extra lives or purchasing boosters). This recently happened to me so I decided to delete the game. There are plenty of other freemium games out there where in-game purchases are helpful but not necessary. If I could spend 5 dollars once to be able to keep all the coins I earn, I would, but it doesn’t look like that’s an option. The game is also pretty bloated and cluttered with special offers, time-limited side quests, and worthless prizes. Plus, why do I need to watch dots explode when I beat a level if it’s not doing anything for my score? My suggestion to developers: slim things down, get rid of unnecessary bells and whistles, offer a one-time purchase option for keeping the coins you earn, and make sure that the option to watch an ad for an extra life actually works.
My favorite game for four years now
by JeniJee on 2018/11/20 08:23
I’ve been playing this game for four years, since my daughter was a newborn. It kept me company in the long exhausting nights and its minimalist cute design is so calming. I’ve read reviews that say it’s too hard and you are forced to purchase items that it is being taken over by ads. That is not my experience. If I play a level enough times and use items I’ve acquired along the way I can eventually always beat it. I won’t say I never get frustrated, though! But that’s the fun of the challenge. I have always appreciated the video ad options to gain extra lives and items, to keep the game free. At least there’s no flashing banner the whole time or something. The only thing I miss is that you used to be able to watch a video to get free booster boxes and now it is only to get extra lives. Also I got a kick out of the birthday search and find game, so cute. Long live two dots! ❤️
One star!
Modern classic.
by tiruvenkadu on 2018/12/17 02:20
In 5 years or so, I have tried a lot of games. I have seen a few truly beautiful, thoughtful games - ones that take time and investment - and I have seen all too many cheap, crappy, thrown-together money-grab games. This game is neither, but I hold it in closer esteem to the beautiful games. It has in-app purchases available, but it does not have ads - that alone is unique. But what really keeps me coming back - always, always coming back - is simple, beautiful design, engaging gameplay, clever/intriguing mechanics, and continually evolving levels that build on earlier mechanics. It’s not timed; you always have time to consider the next move. It’s not entirely a logic game; there’s an element of randomness in every level that always makes the outcome variable. And the music… I have purchased most of the collections when they become available. Some of the songs are mesmerizing. Of all the games on the App Store, this is the one, singular game that has always been on my phone, and likely will be. The developers clearly care, and have fun creating the game. It is well-balanced, not buggy, has clean design, and has the option of purchasing “boosters” (minor cheats, really), if you don’t have the patience to keep hammering away at the occasional tough level. It may not be for everyone, but it’s as close to that as you’re going to find for whiling away the time.
really disappointing. deleting.
by hipster staircase on 2018/07/20 09:44
first of all i think this app only has good reviews because people play it for a little give it a good review and never touch it again. i’ve been playing this game for three years. religiously. the first 800 levels are great but anything after that well.... i know it’s supposed to be more difficult the more you play but it shouldn’t take me days to complete one puzzle. it literally ruins all of the fun. i dont even play anymore because it’s more annoying than entertaining. after level 800 it’s literally all up to chance on if you can finish the puzzles because if you don’t have a perfect set of dots from the beginning you literally have no moves to make. and it’s impossible to get a shuffle. just a giant waste of time. there’s no technique that could possibly win these levels based on pure skill. the creators of the new levels it honestly seems like all they care about is getting people to buy boxes because the levels are set up in such a way where you can’t win without them. ANNOYING. take my advice delete this game or don’t even install it and get risk instead. MUCH better games can be found.
Built to Spend Money
by Idon'tcry86 on 2019/11/11 19:06
Alright. I’ve played this game before, deleted it because it was so frustrating, and a year or more later have downloaded it again. This game is so frustrating. You earn keys but can’t buy useful items with them. Your gold mine is full but you can never access it unless you spend more money to “store it”. Levels are very hard and can’t be beat without using a booster box or earned items like the eraser or blasting one color. BUT you can’t buy any of the tools, blasting colors, bulls eyes, erasers, shuffler, unless you spend the $$$ to keep gold in the mine. Why do you earn keys? What’s the point if you can’t use them to actually buy things to help you move up levels? You have daily prizes, but unless you stop playing and just open the app for daily prizes, which you save instead of use, there is no point. You get 20 keys, or 1 shuffle or color blaster. It’s built to make you frustrated and spend money because the game doesn’t want you to pass levels or succeed. So. Frustrating.
GOAT Mobile Game

I am in love with this game, 10/10. I played this app in spurts for a while and liked it since it first came out, but for the last 4 months this app has been exclusively the game I play and I don’t see that changing any time soon. I’ve never rated an app on the App Store, but I love this one so much I feel obligated to thank and repay the makers of this app and the great work they do. This game is the perfect combination of strategy, skill, and chance. It keeps my mind active, while still being a great way to destress as a study break or just when you’re bored. You really don’t need to pay to get far. You can get power ups without paying which is great, but really you don’t even need to use them at all. I’ve made it to level 465 and have never intentionally used a power up (I pressed the buttons accidentally once or twice, but it didn’t really give me much of a boost).
Love it, but... (+colourblind mode)
by Rian Sygh on 2018/07/12 17:48
I’ve been playing 2Dots for a long long time, it’s been my favourite go-to game for years and I play it almost everyday. I’ve mainly really enjoyed the little tweaks and updates but I’m disappointed with the new Key currency. The power ups are a big part of the gameplay and now they feel too precious to use since keys can only really buy you booster boxes. I’m hopeful that if enough people dislike the new currency system they’ll roll it back. I won’t stop playing the game over it, but it makes me way less motivated to actually spend my real-world dollars on something that is frustrating me more often. Also, I play almost exclusively in colourblind mode- which is great, definitely one of the better CB modes I’ve experienced (adding the little symbols to the dots helps SO much)! If any devs are looking through reviews please make a dark Background toggle for colourblind mode! It would help me out a lot when playing at night.
Fun but in-app purchases so beware!

This used to be completely free. I’ve played this for years. There are several ways to collect Booster items, but they all used to be free once you collected enough points. Now you collect keys and the only thing they can purchase are Booster Boxes and extra lives. There’s the daily “choose a door,” but they used to give you an extra try. Now you get one chance to win some Booster items. And finally, they have you collect coins after you win a round. With the coins you are able to cash them in, literally, for $2.99 for 50 coins. That $2.99 only buys you so much. And I’ve found that the higher I go, the more necessary it is to have a lot of extras like the eraser or the target, etc. In order to gain enough extras to win Ultra Hard rounds, it’ll cost you about $6 sometimes. I miss the olden days, not so long ago, when I could easily collect, for free, enough of those extras just by completing an Expedition!
Great app, brain stimulating, definitely an A++

I love this game. It is totally addictive but in a good way. You only can play until you loose all of your lives and then must wait for them to be restored before being able to continue. Of course you can purchase items as in app purchases to help you move faster throughout the different levels but I have found that it is unnecessary. This way you can pace yourself and not to overwhelmed or consumed by the game. There are ads if you choose to watch that allow you gain additional lives or boosts but they are optional. I sometimes watch these ads but it is on my terms not determined by the app developers. I would highly recommend this app. It keeps your mind stimulated and it is possible to move on to the next levels without having to spend a penny on upgrades. I’ve made it to level 63 so far. Great app. Thanks
I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!😃😃😃

This game is SOOOO AMAZING!!!! Developers, don’t listen to the bad reviews they don’t know what they’re talking about!! I love this game so much it’s awesome, satisfying, and addicting!!! I discovered this game through their original game, Dots. (I also LOVE that app it’s FANTASTIC!!!) I highly recommend both apps!!!! I found out about the Dots series of games through my best friend!! (She recommends lots of GREAT apps to me)!! I love both games sooo much!! The only thing I have to say is that after you finish a level and are about to do another one a window will pop up, sometimes causing you to accidentally click on it and get redirected to a different part of the game. It isn’t an ad. It’s part of the game. And it doesn’t even bother me, just thought I’d put that out there!! Anyway, I love this game and if you’re reading this you should get it!!!!!😃😃😃❤️❤️❤️😄😄😄😁😁😁
So addictive.....🥰
by Haruka~San on 2018/12/13 12:34
I am in love with this game. It cools off my mind. First i thought it would be only connecting dots and do nothing but since i was bored and had nothing to do, i just downloaded it to pass my time. But when i got in higher levels the game got so amazing!! 🥳 I am in love with this game it is pretty fun. I have many other games too in my Mobile (iOS) but this is the most best game ever. This was my comment when u downloaded it in another mobile. But then that time i had to delete for less space. I totally forgot about this game for like almost a year! But suddenly i just saw this game in my recommendations and i was like “I MISS THIS GAME!!”. But there is a problem with the game... sometimes app gets too slow. I dont know but it happens to me sometimes. But i hope one day it will get better. HOPEFULLY! 😁. Thanks to the developer/seller for making this game!! It is so much fun and addictive! 🥳Thanks for reading!!🥳
So long two dots. It was fun.
by Sandaimei on 2018/02/14 18:27
I’ve been playing two dots for awhile now. I can accept the fact that the system limits what you can do when you don’t spend money as far progression goes. I can understand that this games ultimate purpose is to make money. But I enjoyed the game more when you actually could grind and get your power ups to progress through the level. But over the months I’ve noticed the various update that seem to just throw the grinders to the side. The introduction of the keys. You get keys now for going through the expeditions now when you get to each base camp instead of power ups. The main reason I use to go through the expedition. But now you get keys. I could understand using the keys to then purchase powers but you cant. You can only use them to get booster boxes. So essentially now you only have a random chance of getting powers ups. The game is no where near as rewarding as it use to be. Guess I’m going to have to call it quits here. Wonderful game but now it just feels like a cash grab to me.
Very little not to like
by JustMy2Senses on 2019/07/30 09:20
But some... I have poor vision, so some of the features are difficult to see (playing on iPhone—small screen). I tried the color blind feature since I sometimes have difficulty distinguishing the colors (mainly the pink & gold) but I really cannot distinguish the patterns. The new “find the object” puzzles are fun, especially since I figured out I could enlarge portions of the screen, but I’m really irritated that you need coins to unlock the top levels, and I haven’t discovered any way to get coins short of paying for them. It wouldn’t be so bad if I could only dismiss the alert. As it is, to remove the alert that there’s another level, it appears I must turn off all alerts. I really like that you can get free boosters, maybe add the coins in there? I really like the side games, expedition and rewind, partly because that’s where you can get free boosters but also because there’s variety.
Long time player
by Fun and awesome 5 on 2019/01/03 02:57
I have been playing this game for the last two years and am slowly losing my love for it. You use to be able to gain a nice amount of boost boxes through the daily doors and ads but this has decreased dramatically over time. Then you could win those boost through special chest on expeditions but yet again those have disappeared as well. The keys are completely worthless as they don’t allow you to purchase the boost you need. New levels absolutely require you to use boost just to win which defeats the point of this being a game of skill. Also some levels won’t drop the needed mechanic (like anchors) even after 5 moves which is ridiculous. The new version that just came out flashes the squares at you which might be nice for beginners but I find it frankly annoying and wish it could be turned off. Hopefully the developers are reading these reviews but I think this game is going like most others and becoming a money grab.
While the game itself is fun....
by Medzfortmz on 2019/07/19 18:01
The constant barrage to purchase in app currency is ridiculous. You can go about 29-30 levels before you just happen to be forced to use the shuffles, etc. by then they hope you’re addicted. Then they push “get this package for only 2.99,” oh what’s three dollars? Sure why not? And by the end you’re 3, 5, 10, 30, 50, 100 dollars in the hole and so addicted you’ll keep spending. On top of that, while moving through the easier levels it pushes a “gold mine” on you. It looks like it’s apart of the game and you get a little “!” Icon by it. You go to check it out, oh it’s a feature alright, but you gotta spend money to make imaginary money. Don’t get me wrong, the game is definitely fun! But, I definitely deleted it. I’m all for supporting developers and spending some money here or there to help them develop. But when it’s a constant nag, a constant push, it just comes off as money hungry. Making an addictive game and then preying in them. If I wanted to waste my money I’d go to Vegas.
Fun at first
by TrendaLee on 2019/01/19 21:41
Two Dots started out as a really cute and addictive game! Different levels with different themes, certain events like treasure hunt and “going back in time”. It’s all good and fun, in the beginning. Then you reach levels that have these little anchors in them. The objective is to get them to fall to the floor before you’re out of moves. Simple enough yeah? But there are (a LOT of) times where you can go a full five to ten moves and no anchors spawn. You’ve gotten 5 out of 14 and now you only have four moves left to get the rest to fall to the floor. This happens more than it should, and after spending up all of your special moves and “boosts”, the only way to earn more is to either pay for them or just hope you’re lucky the next day to only get one new boost or just a useless key. Concept is great, lovely scenes, terrible pay to win/luck base system rather than the “calm strategy game” the many many ads you’ll see of this game depict it as.
I love this game, but....
by Kym Bray on 2019/03/25 00:13
I love this game, have had it for years. I love that it is constantly being updated and evolving. With that said some of the updates are kind of aggravating, for example the hard and super hard levels, some are CRAZY hard. I was stuck on level 456 (I believe) for a year or more because I didn’t want to spend $ on perks. I finally cleared it yesterday. Now there’s a new update where you can collect gold coins in a mine. It said it was full and you have to pay to increase the storage. I did it thinking I’d be able to hold coins there indefinitely. UH NO! What a rip off, why would I continue to pay $3 for coin storage? That’s kind of crazy. If I pay $3 for increased mine storage it should Just be that. It holds 50, you can use them and refill an unlimited amount of times as you Collect coins up to 50. That’s crazy that you can only hold 50 coins if you pay every time.
Fun game, good challenge
by Shell.renee on 2018/10/01 04:59
I’ve been playing long enough to be in the mid 200’s levels. Haven’t made any purchases and haven’t needed to. Yeah, I’ve gotten stuck for a day or so on a few levels, but nothing bad so far. Maybe that changes further up, but for a free game, I would say you’d get plenty of enjoyment out of it without having to pay a dime. I like the treasure hunts and the expeditions. I think the amount of time you have to play is fine, though I wish the expedition didn’t run at the same time as the rewind. I think the treasure hunt and expedition should run at the same time and then let the rewind run on its own. Other than that, great game. Challenging enough to keep you interested but not impossible. I rarely even use any of the extras like shuffles or removing dots. I just haven’t found them to be necessary.
Found a bug in the game I love
by Mopo100 on 2019/07/03 16:43
I discovered this game sometime ago and love it. However, within the last couple of days, I have experienced 2 instances that would appear to be issues. First, over the weekend, I received a notice that I had just purchased a gold mine however I was not playing the game. Sometime later when I was playing, I noticed that I had not received the benefits of the purchase. The purchased showed up on my Apple purchases summary and my account was hit. The second issues is within the rewind and has happened at least twice in the last 2 days. In this case, I start a level that allows 25 moves and after the second move, it says I am out of moves. I was smart enough the last time to capture a screenshot that clearly saws 24 moves remaining and the out of moves notice over it but I cannot figure out how to get it into this document.
Too bad. I really liked this game at first
by MissMelidy on 2018/03/26 11:42
What a beautiful game. Great graphics, good concept. But, I am only at level 150 out of hundreds of levels and already I’m stuck. The last three levels have taken over a week to get past. The repetition of playing the same level for days and days is frustrating and boring as hell. Why create a game that’s so hard to progress that people give up on even playing it. I think I have reached the point where I’m either forced to buy my way through (not happening!!) or give up and delete the game. It’s really too bad too, because somebody went to a lot of work to make this a beautiful game with lots of beautifully designed levels that I will never get to see because I am not going to pay you to play your game. I hope that someday you game designers will decide to make games that are fun to play instead of mind numbing and sadistic. I’m just really disappointed because I thought I found a game we could play for a while.
Love the game but it’s causing issues!
by JessInAtlanta on 2017/09/28 22:24
This is a fantastic game and I would love to give it five stars if the following issue is fixed. After updating to 10.3.3, 11.0.0 and 11.0.1, this app is consistently causing keyboard issues when left open in the background. It also drains your battery extremely quickly if playing for any length of time (beyond five minutes). Just with the app installed on my phone, my keyboard lagged horribly prior to the 11.0.1 update. I’ve done troubleshooting with multiple apps and identified this (heavily used) app to be the issue. The 11.0.1 update fixed some of the issues. Now when I close the app, the keyboard lag disappears. Before, it was constant and I was convinced it was a hardware issue. I ruled that out when I upgraded to iPhone 8 and started fresh with a new phone. I downloaded a handful of apps, systematically for the one causing the issue. Love the game, but it made my phone borderline unusable for a few months before I figured out the issue. Would love to update this for five stars after the issues have been fixed.
Suspicious Scoring
by O-Joy on 2018/10/25 13:57
I used to love this game, and played to relax for a few minutes every day. But as you progress through the levels, I have noticed some hinky “mistakes” or more likely intentional programming that fails to credit you for clearing the required items for that level. Example: if a level is requiring you to clear two dozen ladybugs, and you have several categories of tools in the level, such as exploding dots, or you’re using large squares, the game doesn’t always credit the ladybugs (or other required items) that you clear by using the tools of the game. Keep in mind, these tools are part of regular play. When they do not work, selectively, on higher levels, or when you’re on your last life, that kind of programmed cheating by the developers to coerce you to BUY advantages that you wouldn’t have needed if only the programmers were ETHICAL sours one from continuing to play this rigged game. I will NOT spend money on this game. But if I were inclined to spend money, playing a rigged game would change my mind about that.
One of a kind!
by Katieexxox on 2018/02/19 23:18
Wow!! I LOVE the simplicity of the game, the music is relaxing, the graphics are easy on the eyes, and the puzzles are just enough challenging! I play this game often, when I wake up, a few times during the day and when I go to sleep. It’s relaxing. I’ll take a break from studying my school work to play this game and I love how it makes your brain think but it’s t blinding with bright overbearing colors and “game like” music. It’s almost a break from the real world. I love how fast the lives regenerate and you almost always gives you to option to watch an AD for an extra life or a bonus box. But it never MAKES you watch an ad. That is a 5 star from me. Thank you guys for making a game that temporarily pulls you from the world we live in to a world that only consists of calming music, beautiful colors and dots. ❤️
My Favorite!
by fadedsnapshot on 2018/01/14 20:50
I love this game. More than any other phone game, easily. I’ve been playing since close to the beginning if I’m not mistaken. Yes, sometimes it can be frustrating and I will wish the game would play a little nicer, but it wouldn’t be all that fun if that was the case. Even hundreds of levels in, there are easier levels that are just plain fun. The look and sounds are pleasing as well. My only complaint is that sometimes they will choose dot colors that are very similar which can make playing in low light frustrating. I do sometimes watch commercials for extra plays, but I don’t find it necessary to pay anything. The ads are by choice and unobtrusive and this is truly one of the best things about it. Can an iOS game be classy? If so, that’s what I would call Two Dots.
Pop up or bust
by Owentastic on 2017/09/23 00:49
Star for music and star for graphics. Postcards are cool. But at level 490 you can't pass a level without using at least one power up at the start by watching an ad and then another one in game. It wasn't like this at the beginnning. Too bad most games do it now. It's not fun anymore when it is that hard. I'm not going to pay for a set amount of power up that is required for every level. For example, When the magnets are separated you must use a scramble. Just way too randomly placed too with few chance of squares unless you use power up. That 15 will be used up in 5 levels. Just not cool. There is the expedition to earn a few power ups but it's basically making squares as nauseum to collect chests again and again. The problem there is the power ups only stay within the expedition instead of going to he main game stash. It was a fun game when it came out two years ago until developers got too greedy and made it pay to win.
Stuck on advertisement
by lalalololke on 2018/05/06 18:34
I love this game and have been playing for quite a while now. First game I’ve ever played consistently. I’ve watched many advertisements. Many of them are excruciating because I watch them over and over and over. But that’s OK as I am the one who chooses to do it based on how bad I want to keep playing at the time And it’s usually just a few seconds 15-30. Today when I clicked to watch the advertisement that’s not even what it was. It was an actual how to project! It was for 205 seconds! And then once the time ticked down it was still for another 10 or 15 seconds until it was really over. If this starts to happen I will quit playing. I wish there was an option to quit watching and just not earn the free turn. Unfortunately, once you say you’ll watch it you’re stuck. Even if you close out of the game and come back later you have to finish watching the advertisement.
Winter Scavenger Hunt
by Zanmos Moore on 2019/12/10 08:49
The review is just for the scavenger hunt. I absolutely love the scavenger hunt concept, I would totally be willing to spend a little money to continue to play maps like that. I enjoy gaining what I spend back and would spend only a little more to go a little farther each time, which luckily it has been progressive without being ridiculously outrageous and unattainable. If two dots was considering making a team just to work on the minute details and sounds and hidden Easter eggs of the hunts and made them a regular event, even it’s own game, I would download it on the spot! I would fully support that and am interested to see where that creativity and inspiration goes! The main game (main journey, expeditions, rewind, bingo card-like levels, and treasure hunts) is wonderful, although I’m not very far!
Fun but paying $ to save coins is not
by Fuzzy1dr on 2019/03/11 21:56
So this game is really a bunch of fun and challenging, until you hit your coin saving limit. Then you have to pay$2.99 to buy your gold mine, which allows you to save More of your gold that you win during game play. If you don’t buy the gold mine, all of the coins you earn during the game bounce off of the top of your pile, and you have to pay another $2.99 to save coins up to another level. When that gets full, you guessed it...shell out more money if you actually want to keep your winnings so you can recycle them through the game. So...it is actually possible to have coins you have earned in the game, but you can’t use them unless you paid to have them stored. Free game play is true up to a point, but you can spend a pretty penny if you don’t keep track of how many times you say to yourself well, it’s only $2.99. I hate this game for that feature alone.

Love it! Especially the Scavenger Hunt
by agratz90 on 2020/01/15 04:05
Such a great app. Simple yet addicting. The limited release game within a game scavenger hunt might be the best part. PLEASE make a separate app with just the scavenger hunt!

Win Streaks - ugh
by ::V:: on 2020/01/11 22:15
I used to love this game but the Win Streak bonuses have ruined it by making it too easy.

It is now happening often enough that I’m hoping the developers will see this and fix the problem.

by jayronron on 2020/01/09 16:44
The game was great up until a point.

This game is just getting flashier and busier with every update, pretty soon it will be unplayable.

by bridget9865 on 2020/01/08 17:52
You know when you need to pass time?

Top Rate

GOAT Mobile Game
by oddffstfffstsuxo ixjx on 2018/08/06 03:39
I am in love with this game, 10/10.
Fun but in-app purchases so beware!
by go33-33 on 2019/09/20 21:28
This used to be completely free.

So addictive.....🥰
