Made a booking, paid, confirmed time slot and received confirmation via app. When we arrived at vendor (go-carting) they had no knowledge of our booking and stated they had never heard of this app. Selecting a time slot also turned out to be meaningless and we ended up waiting 4 hours to get our rides done

I bought two tickets to the Met Museum in NYC. It was only after I bought them that I learned they would not in fact grant me entry, and that a time slot also had to be reserved. They would not refund a single bit of my $50 reservation, even though they provided no value to me at all. Will never use again. The name of the ticket is for “entry”. I was cautious of this, even going through to read the “full description” tab. Nowhere on the “full description” of the reservations I purchased, did it state that a time slot must be chosen. I would understand if you were unable to refund me because my reservation kept others from going to the museum, but it didn’t. Maybe $50 isn’t a lot to most of your world traveling customers but it is a lot to me.

Get your guide sold me 4 tickets for the Museum of natural history-NYC for the 11/26,Thanksgiving. I thought a little probable that the museum could be open but they sold them anyway and as I live in Florida I thought that they know what they Are doing. No, they didn’t. I lost my time, my visit with my sons, I lost money with Uber. It’s not everyday you can visit NYC. I don’t recommend!!! How could a trip advisor website sell tickets in a day off ???? Amateurs!!! When you go on a trip you pay for people do their job!!!Because you are on vacation!!!!

The app charged me but I never got a ticket. I called customer service twice and never got my voucher. Finally, I was told that there was no ticket for me. The agent offered to book me again, but I decided to go with a different app.

Booked a night cruise. Had night planned around it. Showed up and no boats going out night we booked. Had to call a number and disputed this was not a cancellation (no refund), standing in front of boat, not allowed to board. Really bad experience. My advice is to book directly with vendors.

Pretty much ruined our whole day in Moab. No communication with their partners. They let us book a tour and was canceled a couple hours before we were set to go because we didn’t have enough people to fill the tour. Refund will take up to a week.

Doesn’t offer any good places to go besides the zoo and aquarium in Atlanta. I have two small kids I went through this booking app to get tickets for my son to go the zoo on his birthday and ended up wasting 200.00 because he got sick and they said it was no refund on vouchers purchase through this app.

I am so disappointed that there was nothing on this purchase that advise temporarily closed. False advertising is what that is called. To allow someone to continue to checkout and send confirmation on day, time and location meet up and nothing is wrong. I want a full refund just as fast as your company took my money. I had booked a tour using the Get Your Guide app and didn’t realize until too late, that I booked the wrong tour time. Not only had the free refund cancellation window closed, but the missed tour had also already taken place! I used the chat function on the app to contact them just to see if refund was even possible. The customer service agent was very understanding and helpful. They followed up with me through the process of contacting the company, kept me informed of every step, and was able to get me the full refund! Long story short— the app is easy to use and has incredible customer service!

Booked 2 Adventures through this App. BOTH bookings should have never been advertised or accepted since both Facilities are CLOSED in Hawaii due to COVID-19!! I was booked on two events that were never going to take place AND they took my $$! When i called to get a refund I was told that they couldn’t get a hold of their “partner” so they would have to get back to me. I personally called the Facility in Hawaii and was told that they had emailed Get your Guide several times to update their site because they were not Open. I’m still trying to get my refund!

The app has great activities and good prices. Because of The pandemic this year I had to cancel three separate trips. Get your Guide was easy to cancel and refund. I can’t wait to reschedule in the future!! I highly recommend GYG!!

I booked an ATM Cave full day tour online for my family for our Belize trip. The online booking was through “Get Your Guide” which I didn’t realize until after, but convinced myself it would be safe and easy to use. The App is user friendly, but nonetheless, it is a third party online business, that cares little about the customer themself. My family drove over an hour the morning of the tour to get to the meeting site, only to be informed by a very rude woman at the Tour business site, that the tour was cancelled. I asked her about refunding our money spent on the tour, $180 each person, she said that she would not refund the money, I would need to contact the 3rd party, GetYourGuide” to request a refund. I asked her send them an email to let them know they cancelled the tour the day of, not me. She said no she would not do that. I asked how I was suppose to tell Get Your Guide? She told me she didn’t know, that wasn’t her job. Get your guide could contact them to ask if they wanted to. I asked for written proof that ATM cancelled the tour so I would have in writing to submit to ATM. The lady again told me that was not her job. When I got home, I contacted Get Your Guide. I was told by them that it was past the “cancellation and rescheduling deadline”! I told them I did not cancel the tour, the company ATM cancelled the tour. I should never have been charged! I was informed I would need to submit a complaint and it would be looked into. No refund of the charges on my credit card! Bottom line— very poor customer service, poor communication with their “partner” tour companies, and possible scam.

Five stars! Our guide Nabeel was amazing! He went out of his way to make sure everyone in our group was comfortable and having a great time, he also told us about attractions & sites along the way. Drop off & pick was extremely easy. My son & I had a magnificent experience & highly recommended.

Unfortunately we had a very bad trip yesterday, First of all your description for the trip is completely wrong, it’s mentioned that the trip duration on the cruise is 3 hours while it’s less than 2, it’s mentioned that there is live music and there wasn’t, we were picked up very late & went there late that all the inside deck was complete, there was no place to sit and there was no option we had to sit on the roof and it’s not even shaded ( although their pictures for the cruise is shaded) we ate while raining!!!!!!!! Besides that the food was too cold. Really not trusted at all and unworthy the money.
App charged me but no tour booked

On Jan 20 I tried to book a tour. After completing the booking the app stated that something went wrong but not to worry, they’re working on it. I contacted them after noticing my credit card had been charged, but GetYourGuide stated they had no record of me booking that tour. I was asked to send a screenshot of my charge from my bank. Nothing could get resolved as they still had nothing showing that I’d booked that tour. I then had to contact my bank, who then filed a dispute resolution claim. I’m giving the app 3 stars because I had booked another tour that went through just fine about a month ago. Customer service was also quick to respond. However, I’m reluctant to book another tour with this app as I don’t want to go through this again and possibly lose more money. UPDATE: Victor from GetYourGuide responded promptly and has taken care of the issue. I am giving them 5 stars due to their excellent customer service!
Don’t buy Innsbruck cars through this company

I read an article about Innsbruck, which recommended I buy an Innsbruck Card. The card is a way to get around Innsbruck and includes admission into multiple tourist attractions. I clicked on the link to buy the card and it brought me to this company. I assume this company sponsored the article but I could be wrong. I bought the Innsbruck card through this company because it touted instant mobile ticket vouchers. We got our ticket vouchers instantly as stated and headed off to our first attraction. When we got there the mobile tickets didn’t work. After much ado with the ticket office we discovered that we didn’t actually have the Innsbruck card, but instead just ticket vouchers. Not only could we not enter the attraction but we‘d have to travel 30 minutes away to exchange the mobile vouchers for the actual Innsbruck Card tickets at a specific location. We could have just bought the Innsbruck card where we were but we’d be out an extra 68 euro. So we went to the tourist center 30 minutes away to exchange our electronic “voucher” for our paper Innsbruck Card. There we waited for an hour in line to get our Innsbruck Card. Only then were we on our way...what a waste of 2 hours. This company offered no convenience. We could have just bought the card anywhere in Innsbruck for the same price and without the hassle. This company offered nothing but inconvenience.

Do not book on this site! They are horrible! 2/3 of our events we showed up to with NO tickets even though I had proof of purchase AND so called “mobile tickets”! The. When you call to get help you get constantly hung up on! Tour operators say they have a lot of problems with this company! STAY AWAY! The worst is I rented a car to get to one of our events...that we had NO tickets for and they were sold out!!! These people should be ashamed!

There’s seems to be no limit to the number of ‘skip the line’ tickets they sell... so it’s a really long wait (when I decided not to join the line the people at the front had waited 1.5hrs in the ‘skip the line’ line. Really disappointed.. and out a lot of money!

The fact that you force me to download your app to get my mobile pass rather than just generating a QR code in a browser window is pretty pathetic. Edit, worse is that there IS a scan code they just make zero mention of it because they want you to download their app. Just generate the code for me like an airline would, I immediately uninstalled the app after grabbing screenshots of the nice large barcodes that could’ve been easily rendered in a browser window. I and people like me won’t give the app a chance, and hey it’s probably a spiffy app, because your marketing teams create all this upfront BS and make me hate the process even before I get the chance to evaluate your hard dev work.
We used this in Spain for all of our tours. Great tour company!

I just downloaded after buying a voucher and I can’t create an account from the app from googl, FB or even a new account. Shoot. How am I going to get in to my tour without the mobile voucher. Which you could link to the Wallet feature on the phone after buying on your website.

Josephine led our tour of the Louvre today, covering some highlights. This was second time through the Lourve, and this was far superior than the first time, which I did on my own. I liked the more focused exploration of the art. Josephine was engaging, funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions. The 1.5 hours was just the right amount of time. This was far better an any audio. I would highly recommend it, and with Josephine.

Ever since I changed phones to an iPhone 11, the app constantly crashes. I can’t even get the at to actually open. The app freaks out, shuts down. I tried updating it, and it just crashes faster. Nice. But, the website has great deals and you can still use that. The app that supports the website is unreliable.

While visiting Lisbon Portugal we wanted to go to the Pena Castle in Sintra. Reading a bit on the park itself, I saw an ad for ‘skip the line’ ticketing thru Get Your Guide. I ordered the tickets, took an Uber to the park entrance and walked thru after showing my virtual tickets- all painless and rapid. We are now in Athens, and I have gotten my City Sightseeing (hop-on hop-off) tickets through GYG and again it was easy, smooth and quick. The search function is very good, requiring only a few keywords or parts of description to deliver results. All in all a very useful and useable application.

This app was very helpful on my trip. All of my vouchers were quickly accessible. Although, I did also print off all of my vouchers, it helped to have the digital as a backup. Easy to book events right in the app, very convenient.

This app is easy to use & full of information; the vouchers showed up on my phone w no problems. I had to change a booking right after making it, & the process was simple with no penalties. I just used the first tour booked for my trip in Italy-the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica. The tour was well planned, our guide Jennifer was wonderful and it was clear being led by her was a far better choice than our original plan of going on our own. Kudos all round!

My wife and I booked tours of the museum in Florence where they keep Michaelangelo’s David. The website did not work well and it took a while to get the two tickets. When we arrived at the appointed place 15 minutes early we encountered rude and abusive representatives who tried to deny us entry because they did not have the proper information notwithstanding that I had email confirmation of both tickets and copies of both tickets in my Apple wallet. They tried to tell me that one ticket was for a different date, notwithstanding that the email and the tickets in my wallet both had the same date of September 5, 2019 ( the date we were there). We finally got in and there was no guide and, as far as we know, no tour as promised and paid for. Due to my complaints, I received a call from another representative who had no idea what was going on. She said she would check and call me right back. That was over an hour ago and there has been no follow up call. I told her we wanted the tour or our money back and have received neither. I will report the transactions to the credit card issuer and ask they they be charged back. I would only recommend this company to someone I disliked. I have no intention of ever dealing with it again. If you choose to, good luck. I gave it a one star rating because the system won’t accept negative ratings. I would have preferred to give it the minus 5 I think it deserves.

I paid for a tour that was $140 (16,351 nepal rupees) and I was charged $230. The tour was cancelled, so I should get a refund, but I checked and noticed the price was WAY higher than it should have been.

Without talking about the user experience and the app appearance, they offered us a terrible deal at the last minutes. The travel agency is Paris Business And Travel. I spent 138 euros to wait the French tour guide for 20 minutes outside the Museum of Louvre. She went out and declared that our tour was cancelled at 5:00PM, without owning the mistake as a representative of the company that was too lazy to send notification to client since they received the news at noon. Also the fact that she was super late and unreachable through phones made the matter worse. It is frustrating and unpleasant to deal with this kind incident which can be avoided simple by efficient communication.

This is a HORRIBLE COMPANY. I am currently on my honeymoon and they sold me a ticket to a tour that did not exist because it was already sold out. When I discovered the tour was not real, they refused to refund my money without “confirming with a local vendor” and did not offer any replacement tour. They kept my on hold for about 30 minutes and told me it was “company policy” not to allow customers to speak to supervisors. So now I have had to adjust our entire honeymoon schedule due to the lost time. SHAME ON YOU, Get Your Guide. The best part of the whole experience? That tour is still listed as available on their website. So they’re still selling tickets to a sold out tour. And it’s posted under three separate listings! So you can’t tell which tours are real and which ones are fake.

Misguided information

Information in emails were incorrect. First email stated one point to meet while the second email provided another meeting point. I assumed the second email along with the directions in the app were correct. Second email contained the vouchers and app but it wasn’t congruent with the tour. Didn’t get what my family paid for and was a very frustrating experience.

Horrible experience in Florence — AVOID THIS APP

Arrived early for a Duomo tour and found exactly the entrance for our meeting point (thanks to GPS coordinates) but was sent away by museum staff and told we needed paper tickets not a mobile voucher and to get these from “Entrance 7”. Finally found “Entrance 7” around the corner and across the street, where we attempted to use a kiosk to exchange our mobile vouchers. Of course the machine couldn’t read our vouchers and the “local contact” was an answering machine so the only option was to wait in exactly the half hour line to get tickets we had paid to skip! And by then of course our tour guide would be long gone. Why couldn’t the tour guide have met us outside?? Would have been better off showing up early without a GYG Tour and visited the Duomo on our own. Avoid this app!

Took forever to find where my voucher was. It was a month long use when you want ticket, and after the start date listed it went into the history and couldn’t be found easily. I only downloaded the app after the date and it was a bit annoying trying to find where my ticket was.

Boattrip, El Peñol and Guatapé

Boattrip was very relaxing with great views. The view on top of the peñol was breath taking(not included). Guatape is a well precerved authentic little town. Our tourguide Gladys had extensive knowledge and shared this throuout the route, and Sergio the driver was very safe, and both were very friendly. Finally all aspects of the tour starting from breakfast to finalizing the tour was well worth the money.

Bought tickets on line, had to download their ap, fill out a bunch of info, set up an account, went round and round for links. Standing at the entrance we bought tickets for, 15 minutes later we were finally able to pull up the barcode so we could enter. I’m deleting this ap don’t waist your time
London walking tour

We booked a 5-hour walking tour to see and learn about 20 top spots in London and it went above our expectations. Our tour guide Yannick was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and fun. Loved it! We would book again in the future. I also appreciated that the group wasn’t huge so it was more intimate.

I bought tickets to the Cathedral of Sevilla while at lunch using the WiFi in the restaurant. After I purchased the tickets for an entrance that was less than an hour away, I received a receipt and a notice that my confirmation and ticket would be emailed with 48 hours. If that’s the case, why allow me to purchase with such a short window? The email was delivered two hours later, too late to be able to use it for the specified time. Further, I don’t understand the pricing. I was charged 36€ for two adult tickets (no audio guide, no tour), while the cathedral sells tickets for 9€ for adults and 4€ for students. There was no student pricing available online. What value is being added here? Why would I ever buy a ticket with this app?

Told the tour was four hours. It was two. Expected an informed guide. We do not know if she was informed because her English was very limited (we were told to expect an English-speaking guide). We were told that we were getting a tour on a glass bottomed boat. We were send out to scuba off of a small motor boat in the harbor. Snorkeling was fun and the guide was a nice person, but it was NOT what we paid for.

I posted a less than stellar review, and I can’t find it in the 52 that are submitted... I tried to covey salient points for prospective clients, but perhaps valid critiques are not good business. I can only conclude that this App seems to engineer what to display (only 5-star or positive reviews). Specifically for this App, I score it as 3 stars, because it is a good app, but based on what I’ve found, it’s seems deliberately skewed to omit less than positive remarks... which could make the user choose poorly.

DO NOT purchase your tickets from this site. It’s a scam! I purchased tickets for Alhambra in Spain. You can get the same ticket for a lot less at the official site https:///tickets.alhambra-patronato.es. This site will sell you a 7€ entrance ticket and the 6€ audioguide (a 13€ value) for 35€! The ticket doesn’t include access to the most important part of the La Alhambra, the Palacios Nazaríes. The description of the tickets is misleading, as it appears to include the entire complex (a 14€ ticket at the official site). There is no value added by purchasing from this company. They are only reselling tickets with a significant markup. Read the reviews, others were also surprised the ticket doesn’t include the palaces, yet the description has not been revised to be more clear. Go to the official site!

I booked three activities in Italy. The first was for a food and wine tour in Rome. When we arrived, our guide said that we two reservations for two people, and told me let the Get Your Guide people know what happened and get a refund. They refused my refund because I didn’t cancel it 24 hours in advance, even though I didn’t find out about the double booking until the night of the event. Beware of this scam!! After I appealed the decision not to refund my money for the double booking, Get Your Guide reviewed my case, and gave me a full refund. Thank you, Get Your Guide.

Bought the Chicago Explorer Pass with 5 activities included. Once activated the app couldn’t find it anymore, besides in booking history. So I couldn’t book anything in advance, rendering the pass close to useless.

My first experience with is site was some kind of scam. We ordered a boat tour and brewery tour. The site accepted our reservation, then directed us to a walking distance meetup with the boat at it’s dock. We arrived to find the boat and brewery across the street from each other. However, we were not permitted to board. It was explained to us, that we had not booked the tour, but had booked third party vouchers for this tour. The captain explained that we would have to go to the third party travel office( across town) to obtain the correct pass. Although we arrived before departure, we could not board. After investigating the fine print, we needed to board a different boat at a different dock miles from the meeting location. Scam!

Another email was never sent even though I tried to contact this company numerous times. We then decided to try to meet like planned, but our pick-up never showed. Don’t recommend this company at all.

I read an article about Innsbruck, which recommended I buy an Innsbruck Card. The card is a way to get around Innsbruck and includes admission into multiple tourist attractions. I clicked on the link to buy the card and it brought me to this company. I assume this company sponsored the article but I could be wrong. I bought the Innsbruck card through this company because it touted instant mobile ticket vouchers. We got our ticket vouchers instantly as stated and headed off to our first attraction. When we got there the mobile tickets didn’t work. After much ado with the ticket office we discovered that we didn’t actually have the Innsbruck card, but instead just ticket vouchers. Not only could we not enter the attraction but we‘d have to travel 30 minutes away to exchange the mobile vouchers for the actual Innsbruck Card tickets at a specific location. We could have just bought the Innsbruck card where we were but we’d be out an extra 68 euro. So we went to the tourist center 30 minutes away to exchange our electronic “voucher” for our paper Innsbruck Card. There we waited for an hour in line to get our Innsbruck Card. Only then were we on our way...what a waste of 2 hours. This company offered no convenience. We could have just bought the card anywhere in Innsbruck for the same price and without the hassle. This company offered nothing but inconvenience.

On Jan 20 I tried to book a tour. After completing the booking the app stated that something went wrong but not to worry, they’re working on it. I contacted them after noticing my credit card had been charged, but GetYourGuide stated they had no record of me booking that tour. I was asked to send a screenshot of my charge from my bank. Nothing could get resolved as they still had nothing showing that I’d booked that tour. I then had to contact my bank, who then filed a dispute resolution claim. I’m giving the app 3 stars because I had booked another tour that went through just fine about a month ago. Customer service was also quick to respond. However, I’m reluctant to book another tour with this app as I don’t want to go through this again and possibly lose more money. UPDATE: Victor from GetYourGuide responded promptly and has taken care of the issue. I am giving them 5 stars due to their excellent customer service!

I have used GetYourGuide twice now and both times were flawless. The friendly guides pick you up on time, and they are knowledgeable about their tour. I went to the DMZ in South Korea and the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary In Phuket, Thailand. Both times I booked the tour alone because no one in my group wanted to go. I was a little worried about being a young female and doing excursions alone, but I felt safe the entire time. The guides offered to take pictures for me since I wasn’t with anyone. They are really flexible too. I needed to make a last minute change in my pickup location, the night before, and being in a foreign country I had no access to call anyone, but I had WiFi. Thank goodness GetYourGuide has a WhatsApp account that allowed me to communicate with company to make the switch. I can’t say enough good things about this company. They are safe, reliable, and punctual!

My wife and I booked tours of the museum in Florence where they keep Michaelangelo’s David. The website did not work well and it took a while to get the two tickets. When we arrived at the appointed place 15 minutes early we encountered rude and abusive representatives who tried to deny us entry because they did not have the proper information notwithstanding that I had email confirmation of both tickets and copies of both tickets in my Apple wallet. They tried to tell me that one ticket was for a different date, notwithstanding that the email and the tickets in my wallet both had the same date of September 5, 2019 ( the date we were there). We finally got in and there was no guide and, as far as we know, no tour as promised and paid for. Due to my complaints, I received a call from another representative who had no idea what was going on. She said she would check and call me right back. That was over an hour ago and there has been no follow up call. I told her we wanted the tour or our money back and have received neither. I will report the transactions to the credit card issuer and ask they they be charged back. I would only recommend this company to someone I disliked. I have no intention of ever dealing with it again. If you choose to, good luck. I gave it a one star rating because the system won’t accept negative ratings. I would have preferred to give it the minus 5 I think it deserves.

The pocket wifi is the BEST thing you should have when in Tokyo... the connection is very strong, it’s handy and battery charge lasts for more than a day! I ordered for. 7-day service. The unit was delivered to my hotel before I arrived. From Tokyo, Inwent to Shibuya, Shinkuku, and back to Ginza.... I brought and I used the pocket wifi only and my celln phone to navigate my way! Then with the self-address and stamped mail envelope that was provided by the pocket wifi company, I just dropped off the unit at the post box in Narita 2, 3rf floor on the right corner before the Immigration check gate... So convenient! Thank you for the excellent service and the way you do business!

I had booked a tour using the Get Your Guide app and didn’t realize until too late, that I booked the wrong tour time. Not only had the free refund cancellation window closed, but the missed tour had also already taken place! I used the chat function on the app to contact them just to see if refund was even possible. The customer service agent was very understanding and helpful. They followed up with me through the process of contacting the company, kept me informed of every step, and was able to get me the full refund! Long story short— the app is easy to use and has incredible customer service!

I was on a cruise ship headed to Palma de Mallorca which had to turn around to search for an overboard passenger. I emailed customer service to let them know that our ship would not be making it to port and they promptly responded. They checked with the local vendor in Mallorca and he refused to refund our money for our excursion, but under the circumstances, get your guide stepped up and refunded my money out of their own pocket. It’s so great to see a company that has such good ethics and treats its customers so well. I will continue to use them for all of our trips. Integrity is rare in businesses these days.

I bought two tickets to the Met Museum in NYC. It was only after I bought them that I learned they would not in fact grant me entry, and that a time slot also had to be reserved. They would not refund a single bit of my $50 reservation, even though they provided no value to me at all. Will never use again. The name of the ticket is for “entry”. I was cautious of this, even going through to read the “full description” tab. Nowhere on the “full description” of the reservations I purchased, did it state that a time slot must be chosen. I would understand if you were unable to refund me because my reservation kept others from going to the museum, but it didn’t. Maybe $50 isn’t a lot to most of your world traveling customers but it is a lot to me.

Arrived early for a Duomo tour and found exactly the entrance for our meeting point (thanks to GPS coordinates) but was sent away by museum staff and told we needed paper tickets not a mobile voucher and to get these from “Entrance 7”. Finally found “Entrance 7” around the corner and across the street, where we attempted to use a kiosk to exchange our mobile vouchers. Of course the machine couldn’t read our vouchers and the “local contact” was an answering machine so the only option was to wait in exactly the half hour line to get tickets we had paid to skip! And by then of course our tour guide would be long gone. Why couldn’t the tour guide have met us outside?? Would have been better off showing up early without a GYG Tour and visited the Duomo on our own. Avoid this app!

While visiting Lisbon Portugal we wanted to go to the Pena Castle in Sintra. Reading a bit on the park itself, I saw an ad for ‘skip the line’ ticketing thru Get Your Guide. I ordered the tickets, took an Uber to the park entrance and walked thru after showing my virtual tickets- all painless and rapid. We are now in Athens, and I have gotten my City Sightseeing (hop-on hop-off) tickets through GYG and again it was easy, smooth and quick. The search function is very good, requiring only a few keywords or parts of description to deliver results. All in all a very useful and useable application.

I found the app surprisingly not user friendly and poorly integrated with web. I had to reset password multiple times for no obvious reason, and it is not at all obvious how to save a reservation in your wallet. I gradually figured it out, but it is not a favorite app Worse is customer support. I had a sick kid a few hours before departure and saw at least three different numbers to call. I finally found the right one and am pretty sure I was hung up. I called back and was told to send an email asking for a refund. Why do I not expect a response? I don’t love Viator, but I wish I had used them instead of trying this operation. Maybe customer support will surprise me!

As a foreign visitor trying to book excursions “on the fly” we booked an Eiffel tower dinner through this company after multiple attempts due to poor cell coverage, while in Italy. Received confirmation email with confirmation number and reservation number only to find out in Paris that though this company took our money they never booked the dinner! The confirmation #’s had been canceled & it was too late to re-book or even get tickets to go up the tower!! Also even though booked via google you need their app on mobile device to get mobile pass (which was very difficult with poor cellular coverage while traveling) though they send email confirmation. Very disappointing!!! Still have not got money back as promised! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

This is a HORRIBLE COMPANY. I am currently on my honeymoon and they sold me a ticket to a tour that did not exist because it was already sold out. When I discovered the tour was not real, they refused to refund my money without “confirming with a local vendor” and did not offer any replacement tour. They kept my on hold for about 30 minutes and told me it was “company policy” not to allow customers to speak to supervisors. So now I have had to adjust our entire honeymoon schedule due to the lost time. SHAME ON YOU, Get Your Guide. The best part of the whole experience? That tour is still listed as available on their website. So they’re still selling tickets to a sold out tour. And it’s posted under three separate listings! So you can’t tell which tours are real and which ones are fake.

We used this app in our two weeks vacation in Russia & Turkey. Not only their tours were great tours with the tour guides, but their 24 hrs customer service was awsome. Their responds to every question and concern was second to none. Everything we booked through them, including our last minute booking worked like a clock work. A huge thank to them for our many tours we took and enjoyed. This app is a must to have in your phone, and is less expensive than your hotel’s tour.

I’m very disappointed with the website, I search for things to do here in Perth Australia, and this web offer different options like this water park but the web never shows or give directions, about how far away is this park. This web just says not transportation, no meals. Before I book and the web charged me the visit to the water park; I searched really hard to fin the real address, And is when I found out that is 22 miles from the city of Perth Australia, and every one needs to own o rent a vehicle to be able to get this park. Since I’m a tourist and I tried to get there by Uber, but that’s 3 times more expensive that the ticket to get into the water park. So I’m reporting to my bank this web package fraud.

Citywide tour with Josephine

Josephine led our tour of the Louvre today, covering some highlights. This was second time through the Lourve, and this was far superior than the first time, which I did on my own. I liked the more focused exploration of the art. Josephine was engaging, funny, friendly and very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions. The 1.5 hours was just the right amount of time. This was far better an any audio. I would highly recommend it, and with Josephine.

This app is easy to use & full of information; the vouchers showed up on my phone w no problems. I had to change a booking right after making it, & the process was simple with no penalties. I just used the first tour booked for my trip in Italy-the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica. The tour was well planned, our guide Jennifer was wonderful and it was clear being led by her was a far better choice than our original plan of going on our own. Kudos all round!

The app allows tourists to be connected with local events/classes/transportation in most major cities. If you’ve already downloaded this app, I would take the suggested events they offer and find them through another more direct source. This app requires you to travel an absurd amount through major cities to “voucher exchange points”. We missed a tour to a soccer stadium in Barcelona because the mobile tickets with barcodes were not enough to enter the stadium. We also needed the voucher exchange ticket from the voucher exchange point (located 30 minutes away from the stadium by public transport). We also needed to go to the voucher exchange point to prove we bought public transit tickets for 5 days, but we spent the equivalent in one days worth of transit costs just to get the the voucher exchange office which was another 30 minute trek from our AirBnB. Very disappointed in this apps convoluted strategies. Like I said I would look at the events this app has to offer and pursue them with a different vendor.

Without talking about the user experience and the app appearance, they offered us a terrible deal at the last minutes. The travel agency is Paris Business And Travel. I spent 138 euros to wait the French tour guide for 20 minutes outside the Museum of Louvre. She went out and declared that our tour was cancelled at 5:00PM, without owning the mistake as a representative of the company that was too lazy to send notification to client since they received the news at noon. Also the fact that she was super late and unreachable through phones made the matter worse. It is frustrating and unpleasant to deal with this kind incident which can be avoided simple by efficient communication.

I really wish I had read the reviews before I booked. The tour description was inaccurate, History Group advertised that the lift to the top was included, but when we got there, we were required to pay an extra 10 Euros each to get to the summit. I am extremely disappointed because of the false advertisement and feel ripped off by the company. I would not recommend History group fir the tour unless you do not want to go to the summit. I would like a refund of the 20 Euros. On a positive note. The app is very easy to use and the tour guide was excellent.

My boyfriend and I decided to travel around Europe, and were excited about visiting so many different cities. The only problem was that we didn’t know what to do in every city...somehow, I stumbled upon GetYourGuide and we have loved it! It provides wonderful ideas and excursions and we’ve noticed that the prices are typically cheaper on GetYourGuide than through the vendor or hotel! I am keeping this app for good.

Bad customer service!! We booked a private tour for 5 people one week in advance. We received the eVouchers as well as confirmation emails, including one the day before. We showed up 30 minutes early and our guide did not show. We called the number provided and after an hour and several phone calls, they cancelled our tour and offered no alternatives. We are guessing they did not have tickets to get in. They could have let us know in advance so we didn’t have to get up early, stand in the cold, and waste time on our vacation. Very poor customer service!!

Unfortunately we had a very bad trip yesterday, First of all your description for the trip is completely wrong, it’s mentioned that the trip duration on the cruise is 3 hours while it’s less than 2, it’s mentioned that there is live music and there wasn’t, we were picked up very late & went there late that all the inside deck was complete, there was no place to sit and there was no option we had to sit on the roof and it’s not even shaded ( although their pictures for the cruise is shaded) we ate while raining!!!!!!!! Besides that the food was too cold. Really not trusted at all and unworthy the money.

REALLY BAD SERVICE! Booked the Harry Potter/ WB Studios Tour in London with private transfers (£199). Got to the meeting point 10min early but there was construction on the street so waited on the other side. Called customer support 2x to confirm where I should wait and what to look for (they told me to look for a car with a Get Your Guide sticker on the side). After 30min of waiting (they told me it’s normal the car will be a bit late), finally found the coordinator (didn’t even know I’m supposed to look for a person) and then he mouthed off and talked down on me for being on the wrong side and scolded me for being late. Totally uncalled for to get that kind of treatment on a supposedly fun day, especially bec I didn’t even make a big deal about waiting for so long. The coordinator was a big *sshole!!! Do yourself a favour and don’t book your trip here. You will experience lots of unnecessary stress and headache. NOT WORTH IT especially for the prize.
Skewed positivity

I posted a less than stellar review, and I can’t find it in the 52 that are submitted... I tried to covey salient points for prospective clients, but perhaps valid critiques are not good business. I can only conclude that this App seems to engineer what to display (only 5-star or positive reviews). Specifically for this App, I score it as 3 stars, because it is a good app, but based on what I’ve found, it’s seems deliberately skewed to omit less than positive remarks... which could make the user choose poorly.
Very Disappointed

Booked 2 Adventures through this App. BOTH bookings should have never been advertised or accepted since both Facilities are CLOSED in Hawaii due to COVID-19!! I was booked on two events that were never going to take place AND they took my $$! When i called to get a refund I was told that they couldn’t get a hold of their “partner” so they would have to get back to me. I personally called the Facility in Hawaii and was told that they had emailed Get your Guide several times to update their site because they were not Open. I’m still trying to get my refund!

Five stars! Our guide Nabeel was amazing! He went out of his way to make sure everyone in our group was comfortable and having a great time, he also told us about attractions & sites along the way. Drop off & pick was extremely easy. My son & I had a magnificent experience & highly recommended.

Get your guide sold me 4 tickets for the Museum of natural history-NYC for the 11/26,Thanksgiving. I thought a little probable that the museum could be open but they sold them anyway and as I live in Florida I thought that they know what they Are doing. No, they didn’t. I lost my time, my visit with my sons, I lost money with Uber. It’s not everyday you can visit NYC. I don’t recommend!!! How could a trip advisor website sell tickets in a day off ???? Amateurs!!! When you go on a trip you pay for people do their job!!!Because you are on vacation!!!!
Boattrip, El Peñol and Guatapé

Boattrip was very relaxing with great views. The view on top of the peñol was breath taking(not included). Guatape is a well precerved authentic little town. Our tourguide Gladys had extensive knowledge and shared this throuout the route, and Sergio the driver was very safe, and both were very friendly. Finally all aspects of the tour starting from breakfast to finalizing the tour was well worth the money.

Get your guide reimbursed funds after additional research. I wish we had a better experience with the NYC supplier but I am happy they made things right. I have heard great things about this app, just be careful of the supplier they use, every city is different. Get your guide thank you!
London walking tour

We booked a 5-hour walking tour to see and learn about 20 top spots in London and it went above our expectations. Our tour guide Yannick was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and fun. Loved it! We would book again in the future. I also appreciated that the group wasn’t huge so it was more intimate.
Guide tour to Alhambra Spain

My husband and I had an excelente experience going to Alhambra with a private guide His name was Andy and he was the best. Inteligente , polite, very involved with our interests and we had the best pictures of our vacation because of his help. I booked several excursions through GET YOUR GUIDE For Switzerland Spain and Italy and they were all PERFECT!!! No surprises and everything the way it was described. I strongly recommend this application. It even works without internet service abroad ahhhh and the guides were all professional and courteous . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

This app was very helpful on my trip. All of my vouchers were quickly accessible. Although, I did also print off all of my vouchers, it helped to have the digital as a backup. Easy to book events right in the app, very convenient.

Flooded with ads

They get 2 stars because the app does work and is easy to use. What I don’t like is since I’ve downloaded it for my e-tickets I am flood with these super long ads promoting other attractions that are hooked up with the app. So after I go to thé museum I’ll be deleting this app right away away so I can review the news with needing to scroll through tons of app related junk ads. Chill out with the aggressiveness please!

This app has been great in helping us book tours for our trip to Germany. The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to email the vouchers and itinerary from with in the app. Will use this app many times over.

Loved this on our European trip. Until we had a call to change our scheduled time on an activity and then couldn’t book a tour because the app and website wouldn’t take our payments. Customer service is poor. Won’t take payment over phone. Due to the last incident, they lost my business. 😕
SCAM

FRAUD on my second day of booking trips with this app. Absolutely dissapointing and very difficult to manage as I was traveling internationally when the fraud happened. Still waiting for my refund of tickets/tours that were booked halfway around the world by who knows whom!

Very easy to use and find things to do when went to Prague, Paris, Italy.. I love you can sort by evening times as well. So easy to find after-work activities if travel for business.
Ease of use and cancelation

The app has great activities and good prices. Because of The pandemic this year I had to cancel three separate trips. Get your Guide was easy to cancel and refund. I can’t wait to reschedule in the future!! I highly recommend GYG!!
Excessive Commissions

I understand that get your guide should make some money for the convenience but when you find out that they take US$25 out of a US$50 tour, I find it unacceptable. People who booked the same tour through the hotel I was staying paid half the price we were on same bus picked up by same agency. GetYourGuide should be a lot more transparent in its pricing and maybe change its model. Nothing worse than feeling as if you have been cheated.
Confusing

Took forever to find where my voucher was. It was a month long use when you want ticket, and after the start date listed it went into the history and couldn’t be found easily. I only downloaded the app after the date and it was a bit annoying trying to find where my ticket was.

Do not book on this site! They are horrible! 2/3 of our events we showed up to with NO tickets even though I had proof of purchase AND so called “mobile tickets”! The. When you call to get help you get constantly hung up on! Tour operators say they have a lot of problems with this company! STAY AWAY! The worst is I rented a car to get to one of our events...that we had NO tickets for and they were sold out!!! These people should be ashamed!
Not quite what we expected

Told the tour was four hours. It was two. Expected an informed guide. We do not know if she was informed because her English was very limited (we were told to expect an English-speaking guide). We were told that we were getting a tour on a glass bottomed boat. We were send out to scuba off of a small motor boat in the harbor. Snorkeling was fun and the guide was a nice person, but it was NOT what we paid for.
