I can’t buy animals, fish food, or anvils. Not even songs!
by nigerhen on 2021/01/04 21:17
Where is the store? The coins will pile up without some “bug fix”! Update: I made this 5 stars, and also gave you a 5-star rating. You asked for it. 😀
Kids got bored after a few uses!
by abMomOf3Girls77 on 2021/01/04 14:42
My kids liked exploring the app at first, but after a few uses, my kids no longer liked it. It didn’t hold their attention. They don’t like the hippo that pops up. The app is now a “chore” and I require them to do it from time-to-time because I paid for it .... but they don’t choose to do it. (When purchasing it I had hoped the kids would have fun and would enjoy practicing their math. That is not the case.)
No sound, no customer service
by Venno on 2020/12/31 13:57
Every app, even that free annoying one you accidentally downloaded that’s loaded with ads has reliable sound. This one- for $89.99 apparently has major sound issues and non-responsive customer service. 95% of the time the sound doesn't work. Sometimes it randomly appears and then disappears as quick. FAQs mention sound issues but that doesn't help. Sent 3 requests for help over 1 week trial period with no response. Even with the sporadic sound and me vocalizing the rest, this game is my kids least preferred game- and they aren't very demanding- Actually they prefer to sit and make puzzles vs play this game. Why? A reward of a fish or some food for a fish is really nothing fun or exciting. The exercises are repetitive and not very creative. For 89.99 i would expect more

Mostly great App
by shebull9876 on 2020/12/09 22:22
We absolutely love this app. Our son has used it for two years and his math skills are two grades ahead of his peers. My only gripe is the weird updates to the app. Out of the blue we could not access the old version was splash math only. So we started using splash learn. we were stuck without some of the games and additional skill levels that were available in splash math. Then 3-4 days ago we log in and have the newest version of splash learn which has the new reading component. Again, truly loved this feature and a pleasant surprise. I logged out for a brief moment as my payment was updating and when I logged back it looks like we are back in the old splash math platform with out the new reading component which we really wanted to use. It’s so frustrating
Customer service unresponsive, changes took away features we used
by sjcountrygirl on 2020/12/09 00:22
I am a paying monthly subscriber & have used splash math for years. Recently, the app updated and is now called splash learn. All of the organization is different than it was before and I can’t find the modules I need or see any of the reports I used to easily access. On top of that, I have contacted customer service and received NO response AT ALL. I am beyond irritated that an amazing product was ruined by the latest update & is now useless without support, which this company is not willing to provide! Move on and find another learning app. This one is not worth investing in any more!!

Help needed
by donutsat7 on 2020/11/04 14:00
I’m having a hard time getting information. Each time I go to another link it is another answer, but none of the links I went to answered my questions. My child loves this program. The teacher is helping him with math through your program. I saw that you also have a reading part, as well. I’d like for him to use that too. He loves the math part. I’m hoping the reading part will go well too. I have a coupon for 20% but it keeps taking me to the math only. I want the yearly membership to reading and math. Also, somehow he has 3 or 4 different accounts. One is through his teacher which is connected to his class, but I want to have his own account that I pay for linked to a parent account to see his progress. Any help would be appreciated Thank you

These developers are using the detested business model of free for 7 days then $10 a month sign up. No thanks! I get it you need your money to produce them, just be upfront and honest.

NEW Update REQUIRES SUBSCRIPTION
by 1bhfmom on 2020/10/10 01:55
So, I purchased this app K-5 math when my child was in kindergarten. Every year, she has completed all the assignments, repeating some until she has proven (to me) that she is proficient in the skill. Now she is in 5th grade. And it stopped opening up for us. It just crashes immediately. Because. It now REQUIRES A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. One of the things I respected about this app was that it did NOT require a monthly fee that I can’t afford. And I felt it was thorough. We had always gotten through new math skills here before she had to know it in school, so she always felt a level of success, and confidence when she already understood and could explain it to her classmates. If they want to move to a monthly subscription, the people who already have it in good faith, should NOT have to pay EVEN MORE than they agreed to originally. This is CRAP. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
It is boring
by Feng Ch on 2020/10/05 15:47
Can you make it fun

by Californiashayola on 2020/10/04 16:51

This is a very nice app, great review and practice for the kids. While the teaching style is different than our curriculum, we had to cancel but the customer service was excellent! Would definitely recommend splash math!

IPAD APP ONLY WORKS ON A FEW TABLETS
by AnOrangePeel on 2020/09/22 00:20
The app is getting stuck on a parent only screen when I’m trying to log into the class code section. The app keeps telling me to give them money. I’ve sent 4 emails and I only get an automated response telling me to go to a forum that don’t help me with my problem. Please fix your app or help solve this problem.

No parent access online
by Auriala on 2020/09/16 22:01
Apparently after having a student account, even after a teacher deletes the student and the company even sends an email saying it will change to a parent account, it won’t. And so far Customer service by email was no gelp, the rep on the phone reset my password for no reason and apparently had no idea that when I told him the options he was telling me to choose were not there, really were not there. I will probably change to a different math app after this subscription runs out. Toooooo pricey to have no one able to help or provide a correct answer.
Misleading
by Bilingual Learners on 2020/09/09 22:31
I downloaded this because it says that it is available in both English and Spanish but there is nowhere on the app to change the language.
Boring and poorly designed
by CPSParent on 2020/09/08 16:58
My kinder aged child finds this app boring. Our school district pays for us to have access to this app. However, we are constantly being asked to pay to have access. Even my child gets asked to upgrade. There is no way for a child to move classrooms in the app. Every year, we have to delete our account and create a new one. We cannot see year over year progress. This app is an example of lazy Ed tech design.
Great program
by Oaktis on 2020/09/08 15:37
We enjoy that it tracks and is able to climb levels with repetitious achievement!!
Cannot switch to reading
by Maggie483 on 2020/09/07 03:27
Been doing math program for months but then added reading and now cannot for the life of me figure out how to toggle between reading and math for my child though now I’ve already been charged for both (subscriptions).
Interactive Tutoring?
by I feel foolish! on 2020/09/03 16:58
I have received an email offering interactive tutoring. Is this real? Dear Parent, Hope you are doing well. I am Ted, an online teacher with SplashLearn Courses. Earlier this week, we had reached out to you with live online courses that can help your child meet math goals from the safety of your home. Because we didn't hear back, I thought of following up with this one question - What kept you from enrolling? Feel free to reply to this email. Your response will help us understand your needs better. Here is the list of live interactive math courses for your child. Have a great day. Regards, Team SplashLearn
Poor customer service
by Smithyn22 on 2020/08/29 11:39
Terrible customer service. We paid for one year of this app in January and could never log in. It is now almost September and we have not yet logged in. When we try to set up our child, it says we need to use the all levels app. We go to the all levels app and can’t sign in because that is not the app we have a subscription to, and it wants us to pay again. We’ve been getting the runaround for one year, never had access and are out nearly $100. This app may work fine if you have no customer service needs but our experience with customer service earlier in the year suggests this company is a scam.

Nice sequencing, a bit boring and bugs
by TM$Lu on 2020/08/12 15:33
The content is good. The exercises get really boring compared to other apps like Math Tango. There are also weird bugs with the “rewards” the kids get at the end of every day. There is an aquarium and a jungle. Nearly every day my daughter gets a squid or food for her aquarium. The food feeds fish, but she has never gotten any fish. Her aquarium is packed with squids and nothing else. It’s silly but these rewards are a big part of the incentive and they are really bad. Again, I highly recommend math tango for better math puzzles and much, much better rewards.
Can’t login with one email for multiple kids and versions
by MaxDraco00000 on 2020/08/10 19:01
I signed up for Splash Kindergarten and now can’t login or use the regular splash learn app. Also can’t register a second kid and use the same email for my other kids. The login process just errors out saying already registered and for a different version.
I don’t like it
by rolt bolt on 2020/07/31 21:46

It’s good
by Josh and Trisha on 2020/06/30 08:44
Splash math is well it’s fun and nice it should have more mini games because it’s boring without many mini games and it should have more levels and make it over fifth grade when someone gets to sixth grade someone can’t play but what happens when you get all the animals in the mini games because it could get boring and some people have to do 30 min or more math on splash math but it’s a good game.

Bad experience
by Ed with high standards on 2020/06/19 16:44
I signed up for 2nd grade math. The app is entertaining enough, but here are my problems: 1) The difficulty is not appropriate. One of the 2nd grade math exercises had you drag peppers to hungry animals by just matching numbers (for example, match the 3 to the 3). This is pre-school stuff, not 2nd grade math. 2) After completing 10 minutes of the app, we were blocked by a paywall asking to sign up for a paid subscription before completing the final level to get a reward. 3) Then I received an email asking to signup, and the email did not have a “unsubscribe” to all, and I actually had to email them to delete my account.

Reading?
by Mother of a first grader on 2020/06/15 05:38

by niclebl on 2020/06/08 17:25
We love SplashMath! I have a daughter who is in the 2nd grade and a son who is in Kindergarten at the time of the Covid happenings and this app has been such a blessing. It makes it fun so they love doing it and I love how it lets the parent keep track of their progress and what they might need to work on a bit more. Definitely worth the money spent and would 100% recommend.

This is a great educational tool and really helps your kids learn, however it seems that every time there is an update it stops working for us on our iPad and we are forced to resort to using and iPhone for a day or so. The iPad is always up to date and only a year old so it should not have these kinds of issues.

Has Potential.
by HopeSlegers on 2020/05/28 17:01
This app has potential to be great. However, there are better options out there that are free. This app’s “free” portion isn’t worth it to me. It only allows you to answer 10 questions before having to purchase more use.
Crashing and Confusing
by Evie Harris on 2020/05/26 17:18
I just chose this app for one year subscription and typed my apple passcode to pay. Now i tried to change the grade level and the app only lets us play 4 trial period games then it’s asking me to sign up for another annual payment. Also tried on iPad first but it keeps crashing and in the phone you can’t see the full main screen. App definitely needs work, but the games look fun and educational, I can see it’ll teach quick mental math skills.

by Saosyhant on 2020/05/11 15:45
I downloaded this for my three and a half year old twins to help them learn numbers. The app has been quite good in that regard. The stages are generally well done for pre-k and the production quality is good. But the app locks up on a regular basis, requiring either restart of app. Very frustrating for my children. I hope the developers can figure out the problem as the subscription fee is not cheap.
Used briefly, canceled, they keep charging me

Can’t figure out how to get them to stop. I’ve canceled the subscription, and even Apple is telling me they don’t know how to make them stop. What the heck?! Avoid, avoid, avoid. If anyone can help me get these people to stop charging me, I’d most appreciate it.

Amazing Game
THIS APP IS THE WORST!!
by Kwaynni on 2020/05/04 19:17
Ok, this is coming from a person who had to play this game, no, it’s not a game, ITS TORTURE!! Splash math is sooo boring, the music and hippo guy is so annoying! He is so FAT! He keeps popping up going like good job! Or OOPS YOU GOT IT WRONG!! Not even a try again! As I play, they don’t even explain how to do the math, they just give you the word problem, or one word like evaluate, expecting you to know this stuff, EXCUSE ME?! We got this app so we can LEARN how to do it, NOT TO REVIEW IT THINK THAT WE KNOW EVERYTHING!! The games are sooo lame, a stupid fish tank and zoo. I bought every single animal and nothing changes. It is soooo boring!! It's not fun at all! People who are looking for an app find this and splash math brags of all the awards they’ve received, and how many people like their dumb game. I bet they wrote the parent reviews THEMSELVES,to make it look like their game is cool. To my conclusion, THIS GAME IS TORTUE, NOT FUN, BORING, DUMB, AND STUPID!!!!! If you want a very fun learning game for you’re child for ages 3-7, get ABCmouse.com, and for kids 8-13, get Adventure Academy, both are wayyyyy more fun. -anonymous. Edit:umm, what kind of a response IS THAT!? I already deleted the game. SORRY, I'm NOT getting this back.
Cool

WARNING!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We are all looking for ways to help our children continue their education in these unprescendented times. “SplashMath is now SplashLearn” looked promising. However, I have been nothing but frustrated in my attempt to navigate their pricing structure and their nonexistent customer support! Here’s my story. First I signed up for the free trial. They asked for credit card information, otherwise you could not start the “free trial.” I added the first child’s name and then tried to add a second child, but the free trial and the account I had signed up for did not permit a second child. Here, they said, you need to sign up for this other account which will let you add a second child. So I did that. However, I NEVER got a free trial and my credit card was charged $59.99 for the first account and $99.00 for the second one. I “chatted” with their online customer support, who could not help me, but gave me a phone number to call. No one answered the phone (no surprise) but I left a message, and their eventual response was to cancel the “free trial!” What?!? I tried to cancel the account with only one child, but they will only cancel it at the end of ONE YEAR!!! The worst part of all is that the app itself does not appeal to the children...that’s what the free trial would have shown me! I want my hard-earned money back!
Good in theory, needs improvements.

I love that there are math assessments for various levels and the program can be used by teachers and parents with reports given out. I also like that correct answers are provided when wrong answers are given. Unfortunately, correct answers are often computer as wrong answers, and those questions may be repeated multiple times after that, exactly the same. My biggest pet peeve is how many questions there are in each activity, and no way of knowing if there are two questions left or 10. It’s exhausting, and I’m an adult.
I love this game.

Help needed
by donutsat7 on 2020/11/04 14:00
I’m having a hard time getting information. Any help would be appreciated Thank you
Splash Math
by JohnDan13 on 2019/06/13 12:04
My son who is 5 years old love Splash Math. Both parents here love everything about this app. This is a great game. The animation and the graphics are super fun, rich and vibrant. All the characters in the app are cute and charming. To do all of this with keeping learning as the primary focus is not and east thing. This reminds me old school learning tools and the likes. My son needed help with number recognition and through the apps algorithm, it gave more repetitive ways to learn and master the skills. The system know what question should be the next so its perfect. The progress report dashboard also helps us to know how the child is doing and tailor the program accordingly The pricing kept us unsure but after checking them out and watching our son counting numbers and doing addition, we were sure that it will be totally worth it and encouraged us to purchase. We wish we’d gotten to learn math like this. The characters are super fun and the fast mini games that secretly teach math foundations. It covers from kindergarten to grade 5 and we are super sure it will be a great program for our son. Recommending to all our friends 👫
Highlight Instructions?
by ConcernedSis02 on 2020/01/07 17:19
I know this app is great for kids as it provides a fun and interactive way for them to learn early math concepts. However, I wish the app would highlight words when the “speaker” reads the instructions. Example: ABC Mouse app when they read books and highlight the words in the sentence as the speaker speaks. I believe this might help set kids up when having to go to school and do homework or tests with instructions! Just another thing they can improve on and add to the app. I’ve learned with my younger brother that he never reads instructions and uses the way the problem is set up to figure out what he needs to do; however, I want to improve my little sister’s reading. So, I’m taking my time to teach her about reading math instructions even though she’s a Kindergartener.
There are other much better alternatives
by Dr.DODO2 on 2019/02/25 03:48
In preparation for our son entering Kindergarten, I tried this based on the high review score. Our son quickly finished up many levels for the trial and seemed to like it. So I just let trial covert to paid subscription. However, within few weeks he has completed all the levels and got to the word problems. Since he could not read the questions, he quickly lost interest. Also the UI is not made well for 3-5 years old kids with a limited hands-eye coordination skill with small icons. The questions also tends to get rather repetitive. After our son entered kindergarten, we were provided with Mathseeds, which has much better UI, more engaging and diverse question sets that are dynamic. It was provided free as a part of the curriculum but I would been happy to pay. I contacted support to request refund for the portion not used but was told In-App purchase cannot be refunded. So I reluctantly kept it for a year.
Indescribable
by fg hfhtf hgftftf on 2018/11/09 12:59
This app is the best!!!!!! All the other school apps I’ve had are just tests but this app is so coooool!!!!! I highly recommend this app. The jungle and aquarium games are so much fun even for grade 5. You child will learn so much like me! In the beginning of the app when you first get it it will ask if your child is a boy or girl, then it’ll ask what grade your child is in and then play away! The app even sends reports to tell you if your child got better or just not doing it enough. Ggfykejgyfkuefyfgfy those are excited thoughts! And that’s what I think when I’m playing this app! You learn so much and you have so much fun. Fun learning! That my favorite kind of learning! Enjoy the app!
best learning program for 4 to 10 years old
by Parv1301 on 2019/06/10 11:54
One of the best learning app in the app store. it have all the major elements a child need to learn math. the app is fun, engaging, motivational and also rewarding. the games in the app are well thought and well executed which makes the learning fun. the characters are super cute and lovely. my child has even given them a name. the app is super friendly for my child and gives a corrective answers with detailed explanation when she is not able to figure out the right answer. the reporting part and weekly reminders are also well executed which gives a pretty good idea about how the child is progressing. my second child who is of higher age wished the app should also be made available for higher grades and for more subjects. we are always on a look out for educational apps and really appreciate when a single brand covers all the topics. I am now a very big fan of splash math and going to share it with my child’s school when it opens after the summer. will also be recommending to my friends 👫 and family.
We love it
by BlackSeaDolphins on 2019/03/05 13:48
My child recently turned 4 years old, and he loves this app. I had to purchase it for him. He is almost done with Kindergarten level. But he is also advanced: he reads and adds numbers. This app just supports the work I do with him outside this app. I really like us having only educational apps on the iPhone/iPad he uses. So I opened this app to see if there are more such apps to support English and Science standards as this app does for math.
Frustrated
by ClaraHorn on 2019/05/30 01:42
So I downloaded and paid for this app cause my child loves learning thought it would be a great app. My child has worked very hard at this app earning many coins and when trying reward her letting her spend what she has earned and that I paid my hard earn money on the app doesn’t work like it is supposed to. I have been going back and forth with the company for a week now and they still have not resolved the issue they say I have to go the website, did that still doesn’t work so then they say well we will have to talk over the phone to fix the issue. BS it’s your app fix the problem you don’t need me on the phone to do your job nor do you need on my computer. I paid for a product and it should be delivered but keep getting the run around. Not worth the money as far as I’m concerned and cancelled my subscription and don’t recommend it to anyone.
Want to love it...but...it freezes constantly!
by Behr_on_a_Clif on 2020/01/30 14:32
This is a REALLY great app! My 5 yr old daughter loves math, and loves the games as well as excels at the material. I’m happy with how it presents new concepts to her. It IS a bit repetitive, but I guess that’s how some people learn! We both want to love this app but she also ends up CONSTANTLY FRUSTRATED with it. It freezes every 5-10 minutes and even if you try to “resume” after it reloads by pressing that option, I almost always have to force restart the game. I won’t subscribe to something that doesn’t work. Sorry! Another issue I have with it is that because she can’t read yet, I have to sit with her while she works on the material. I wish that it would have a “closed-captioning” option for kids who can’t read, where it would read the entire problem to them, not just part of it. I wish also that you could more easily change the grade of the material. While my daughter is going to be in kindergarten, she does understand some 1st grade concepts and I would love to challenge her with some higher -level games and material! But I can’t figure out how to change the level. I’ll gladly change my review if the freezing issue can be resolved!
Honest non sponsored review from a teacher/parent
by Genevievecoco123 on 2020/03/24 03:55
I write this review as a teacher and a mother. I bought this app at the full price, which was not cheap. The pros of this are if your child is already learning a concept or skill and they have a good handle on it, this app will reinforce what they already know. However, if your child struggles with math concepts this app does nothing to teach the concept or skill. There is no lesson or what we (teachers) call the “I do” portion. It’s a series of multiple choice questions. You will eventually guess correctly or you won’t but there is no actual lesson taught. If you didn’t understand something you will not leave understanding it. Please do your research. I know a lot of parents are desperate but do your research first. There are cheaper more informative apps available.
Don’t give them your email!!!
by Ujjddkg on 2018/11/09 16:35
They give a one week “taste” of their program and initially ask for your email (you know, to check on your kid’s “progress”). Once they have that you can unsubscribe or undo your mistake until you contact them because you ACTUALLY signed up an account. Everyone else has a cancelation button on their website, except for companies that put you through the wringer to try last minute sales pitches to keep you to stay, and even then, who knows if your account won’t be recharged or your info isn’t used by partners (read fine print). It’s best to just stay away from Splash Math. AND NO, You are not sorry to hear about this, no, I do not wish to contact you again and again regarding this!!!

Rip Off
by Deestuff on 2017/12/16 17:16
Purchased the year subscription to this but am still in trial mode. After I purchased it, I did cancel my subscription but verified that it's still active until December 2018 (I didn't want it auto-renewing). Along with this one I also purchased 5th Grade Math Games, also by Study Pad. Completely different artwork for both, and nothing in this version tells me that 5th Grade Math Games is part of this bundle in any way. So we go to sign in to 5th grade math games only to get a message that tells us that since we bought the bundle we have to sign on to that instead. So I paid $14 for that app, $60 for this one, and can't use either one. Disappointed and frustrated.
To Expensive 😐
by Lsofia on 2018/12/07 02:02
Soo, it costs a lot of money to buy stuff for a while. I just want you guys to change that because it really gets me. You know what I mean right? Nobody knows what I mean. But maybe u should make things a bit more cheaper. My mother can’t just keep wasting money for this! I’m in 4th grade and I know how to write a review with the correct punctuation, capitalization, and grammar and also, stuff like periods, explanation marks, question marks, semi colons, and more. Sooo if u mind, could u please respond to this? It would be an honor.
Good app to begin with but lacks difficult levels
by Pr*t!k on 2017/10/04 22:42
I use this app for my two daughters' math practice at home. I notice that topics covered in each grade covers school curriculum. App also does a good job at providing aesthetically pleasing experience unlike other popular apps like IXL. I realize that IXL difficult to use and navigate. This is good app to start with. However, I feel that this app could do much better by adapting to student and challenging them by increasing difficulty level. Also, this app lacks word problems!
Great App
by George Bernt on 2017/08/19 17:11
I got this app for my kids to keep up with math during the summery. They really enjoyed it. My biggest complaint is that the fee only includes three kids. I have four kids and didn’t want to pay double for one more seat. When I tried to contact them, I didn’t get any response. Which was frustrating. Fortunately, I have twins who were the same age so I just let them use the same account name. Not ideal. But it worked…and they only fought about it a little bit.

Dissatisfied
by Fduhcd on 2018/11/08 16:33
I downloaded this app because my sons class uses this for homework. At first it was fine and he was doing it on my phone which is easier then pulling out a laptop and setting it all up. I updated all my apps, and when I did that and tried to use this app it said it was now only available on an iPad! iPad, iPhone they are the same exact thing! So, now we cannot do his math homework because I don’t have a Mac or an iPad. I just think this is absolutely ridiculous and wish I would have never done the update to begin with. Extremely Disappointed!!!!!!!!!
Love it
by CGogu on 2018/02/17 20:42
My 6 year old is so happy with this app. We just purchased the app for the year. She is practicing 3 times a week for 45 minuets. I love to see her so excited and eager to play this game and create her jungle and aquarium. We just downloaded the parent app. I was wondering if there is a way my husband can get her updates and progress as well. Can we add a second email on the account ?
No parent access online
by Auriala on 2020/09/16 22:01
Apparently after having a student account, even after a teacher deletes the student and the company even sends an email saying it will change to a parent account, it won’t. And so far Customer service by email was no gelp, the rep on the phone reset my password for no reason and apparently had no idea that when I told him the options he was telling me to choose were not there, really were not there. I will probably change to a different math app after this subscription runs out. Toooooo pricey to have no one able to help or provide a correct answer.
Definitely need more plan options
by Keone Reene on 2019/03/26 23:35
I feel forced to purchase a $100 game when I’m not certain my children will use it the whole year around! I rather do a monthly plan to be sure I’m not wasting money but I have two daughters and I want to be able to use the app properly by tracking their progress. Then if I was to purchase the plan up to three children I’ll have a whole account wasted it’s only them two and I’m just not sure it’s worth it! Plus why is the online trial only 30 minutes that’s not enough time to know if my children will actually use this a lot! But the little time we did have with it we all enjoyed together! I’m just not sure if they enjoyed it because it’s new or because it’s actually fun! Just too risky sorry!
Been a user for over a year now
by Mandy11768 on 2019/06/25 03:53
As a parent, I have really liked how this app is set up although I have found it helpful to combine the app with a math book. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the word based math problems where inappropriate for kindergarten and first graders who have not learned how to read yet. And the app can be glitchy where problems or levels won’t load properly.
Be very careful before you start your trial!
by Tom Muas on 2019/02/28 07:52
So my nephew came over and I decided to have him try out the trial version to keep him busy for the day. Before I know it, a week later I’m charged $60 dollars for a yearly subscription. I emailed their support team for a refund and got the classic response that there’s nothing they can do and to have it resolved with iTunes. Well iTunes was no help either stating my purchase did not meet their refund policy. I guess I’ll just have to do some math in between my breaks at work to get the most from it. Disappointing support from their team.
Watch out! Great App BUT...
by tinknola on 2018/04/29 23:51
App is good but you will get NO warning or notification emails when it's time to re-enroll and up your kids grade level annually. The only emails you will get will be ads to buy other products or features. I paid for two extra yrs of non usage and searched all emails for any kind of warning or notice-only ads! You must unsubscribe officially to stop an annual payment without notification.
Great, easy to use
by Momma bird7 on 2017/10/25 11:54
Initially got this app because my daughter was struggling with a lesson in kindergarten. I never expected her to fall in love with the app and want to play with it for hours on end (I’m not kidding). I was able to download it and sign in on multiple devices and they email you on your child’s progress. It’s a great app and I hope she continues to enjoy it.
Crashes and doesn’t load
by Alysiabug on 2020/03/23 19:40
This app has the potential to be great, however it won’t load or open half of the games and crashes constantly. We open a game and the app crashes, we select a different game and the whole screen just goes black and we have to start over. It’s super frustrating because my little guy loves math and this app! But he’s gone through the stuff that loads and works, and can’t ever access the other content. Wish there was an update and better functionality
Excellent K-5 Math App
by needscrnz on 2019/01/03 14:23
SplashMath is way better than the apps our school system uses. It introduces concepts in an easy visual way. My main complaint is the lack of variety in presentation and rewards. 5th graders need something different after 6 years. Starfall has a brilliant variety of ways to present content, but only goes up to basic multiplication. I wish Splashmath would incorporate more variety and expand to middle school.
Buying stuff
by !$;$.&.5 on 2019/04/09 05:35
SO UM why do we have to buy the most there to learn math at my school we have to pay zero cents to learn and I thought this would be good with help me learn but nope because I have to pay for most of the stuff and it could be a better app it’s good but you have to buy most of the stuff which is sad and I’m kind hoping could get something free to learn my little brother is going to be playing this app I’m going to play this app but nothing is for free😢
It’s good
by Josh and Trisha on 2020/06/30 08:44
Splash math is well it’s fun and nice it should have more mini games because it’s boring without many mini games and it should have more levels and make it over fifth grade when someone gets to sixth grade someone can’t play but what happens when you get all the animals in the mini games because it could get boring and some people have to do 30 min or more math on splash math but it’s a good game.
Love!
by niclebl on 2020/06/08 17:25
We love SplashMath!
Good app, lousy support.
by WillCrockett on 2019/01/04 22:02
I really like the progress functions for both the student and the parents trying to help those students. Simple and easy to learn interface that encourages use. WHAT AWFUL, DISCOURAGING SUPPORT. I’m not sure why the email support team cannot answer simple questions like “how do I pay for a subscription for this app on my granddaughters phone” but they can’t. Despite this difficulty, the app is a good tool to get kids connected with solid math skills.
Don’t even start the trial...trust me!
by lovemath! on 2018/12/01 08:26
Thought this looked like a great learning tool! But after the trial is over you are charged for the full year...didn’t even give me time to see if my kids would like it—which they hate it! It’s horrible only common core, which if you know anything about math, takes math out of math class & is not common sense mathematics based. As a math minded individual my kids are taught that logic and hate to use this app when I’ve tried to force them to play, because I was charged for a year of use. And currently can’t cancel! Someone help!!!!
Great for self paced learning
by A Marathon Nerd on 2020/04/23 21:12
My 7 year old loves it. He progresses so much more quickly than he would just following along in class. He loves that he can explore tougher problems at higher grade levels without worrying about getting everything right immediately. There is a bug though - the Money section of Grade 3 is broken. The questions are missing numbers.

Ricky Davis was an amazing help walking me through all of the aspects of signing up for the family plan. He was patient and made sure I had everything done on my computer , IPad and also on my phone. Thanks so much Ricky! I am so excited to use this with my homeschool students this year!
So mad. Needs work
by StephTriGirl on 2020/03/17 13:57
This app needs work. It will not allow me to add it to a second device and continue on the same path. It starts all over again. I also had issues signing in, even after I see it in my subscriptions that I’m being charged monthly. Plus, there is no way to add more than one child? I have 4 kids, at 4 different levels & only one can play? In the app itself, I chose kindergarten for the level, but my preK child was so bored with it. Not challenging at all. I ended up canceling my subscription. So sad.
The students love splash math
by cooper268 on 2019/02/12 16:14
This is a great tool for my math class I always have good grades for them I hope they always love it parents and teachers your children are going to love this app I have been teaching for 12 years and I have never seen a app like splash math every word I say they first learned from splash math it's amazing!
Fantastic
by Annan616 on 2018/12/02 00:39
This is such a great app for kids who need a little extra help. The format is very user friendly and the problems are very applicable to grades. The only issue is my 4th grader does not like the hippo as she thinks it’s too babyish so it would be great to be able to change it or get rid of it.
I like it !!but I have a problem ?
by mecpie22 on 2019/01/02 05:17
So I like the app ok and I am having the worst time of my life because I have to learn multiplication now so I thought this app will work sooooo I got it and after I was done doing some of math I got to go to the next unit in Multiplication but it turns out I have to pay to go to the next out and I just want the stuff on the app to be free cause fourth grade is hard for me and I struggle at math 😢cause I always get embarrassed when I don’t know a multiplication problem do I just want it to be free now and that’s all I ask😢😢😢😭
Great but some issues
by mymonstersaresoawesomeDUDUDUD on 2019/09/30 21:15
It is great for preparation and just plane learning. It has nice graphics no bugs or anything. But there are some issues. You can just press the done button without answering the question, and also you still get a higher percentage on weekly goal even when you cheat or don’t get answers correct.
Good but buggy
by Saosyhant on 2020/05/11 15:45
I downloaded this for my three and a half year old twins to help them learn numbers. The app has been quite good in that regard. The stages are generally well done for pre-k and the production quality is good. But the app locks up on a regular basis, requiring either restart of app. Very frustrating for my children. I hope the developers can figure out the problem as the subscription fee is not cheap.

Great program
by Oaktis on 2020/09/08 15:37

by Maggie483 on 2020/09/07 03:27

It’s good
by Josh and Trisha on 2020/06/30 08:44
Splash math is well it’s fun and nice it should have more mini games because it’s boring without many mini games and it should have more levels and make it over fifth grade when someone gets to sixth grade someone can’t play but what happens when you get all the animals in the mini games because it could get boring and some people have to do 30 min or more math on splash math but it’s a good game.

Reading?
by Mother of a first grader on 2020/06/15 05:38
I got this app because it said that it would reinforce reading and math, but so far, my son only has access to the math. Not the reading. Maybe I am doing something wrong? I already updated my app as well.

Crashes all the time after latest update
by Titan1234 on 2020/06/09 20:35
Splash math has been crashing all the time after the latest update. I am using it on an old iPad Air. Could you please fix that ASAP? It’s not usable as it it.
Love!

Can’t figure out how to get them to stop. I’ve canceled the subscription, and even Apple is telling me they don’t know how to make them stop. What the heck?! Avoid, avoid, avoid. If anyone can help me get these people to stop charging me, I’d most appreciate it.

Help needed
by donutsat7 on 2020/11/04 14:00
I’m having a hard time getting information. Any help would be appreciated Thank you
Splash Math
by JohnDan13 on 2019/06/13 12:04
My son who is 5 years old love Splash Math.

Soo, it costs a lot of money to buy stuff for a while. I just want you guys to change that because it really gets me. You know what I mean right? Nobody knows what I mean. But maybe u should make things a bit more cheaper. My mother can’t just keep wasting money for this! I’m in 4th grade and I know how to write a review with the correct punctuation, capitalization, and grammar and also, stuff like periods, explanation marks, question marks, semi colons, and more. Sooo if u mind, could u please respond to this? It would be an honor.

Love it

Signed In Today
by high rock rocks! on 2018/09/19 20:55
Ricky Davis was an amazing help walking me through all of the aspects of signing up for the family plan.
