This app is very helpful as I can order food anytime. But, when the food delivered is bad or missing some, Grab doesn't assist to get things right from their resto tie-ups. Not fair.

Drivers keep on cancelling order - restaurant cancel orders - it takes on average 5 attempts to get a driver who most probably will cancel half way anyway. Not recommended !

I ordered my food on Grabfood and waited for 1.5 hours. Then, they told me there is no driver to pick up, and they don’t allow me to cancel the order. I tried an other restaurant on Grab. Same thing happened. Both orders couldn’t find driver to pick up. I checked my bank activities, it shown I have been charged for both orders, but I didn’t get any of the orders after waiting for 2 hours!
Suspended my account for no reason

I’ve been a long time user of grab. I use daily to get coffee and food delivered. They randomly suspended my account, I’ve reached out multiple times and haven’t received any information on the reasoning. It’s been over a month and still no access to my account.

I haven’t been able to use grab because while setting up a pin, it never shows a green bar with submit. It only shows boxes for me to enter a pin. Therefore, I’m stuck. I’ve had to use Comfort Delgado now for weeks

Tính năng gọi điện giữa lái xe và khách gần như không dùng được. Gọi 20 lần may ra mới được 1 lần khách nghe được tiếng lái xe bên kia nói. Thế mà app cứ bắt khách và lái xe gọi nhau qua số này. Đề nghị cho tính năng gọi thẳng qua số điện thoại là mặc định!
Grab is losing to competitors

I live in Bangkok and would use grab once to three times a week to order food delivery. I’ve noticed over the past two weeks that my favorite restaurants are no longer available to deliver in my area. I’ve found a way around this by discovering other apps that WILL deliver to me for about the same price. These include: -Get (Gojek) -Robinhood -Foodpanda -Lineman I’ve been a customer of Grab for about 5 years. But it’s decreasing availability of restaurants and drivers means that I can’t eat at my favorite restaurants then I will definitely switch to a competitor.

The only delivery app that allows the driver to cancel on you for no reason. Lol why? So much time in my life wasted on this “feature”. And believe the hype about customer service being the worst at best. If you’re in northern Thailand use TUK or even Food Panda. AND ALSO...DRIVERS CAN TAKE TWO ORDERS AT ONCE. So you’re paying to have your food cold. All while THE DRIVER can cancel on you at any time. Absolute garbage. Grab is the R Kelly Doo Doo Butter of delivery apps. It’s like if you were hungry but also wanted to get angry and disappointed also. Update: Yup. Still the same. Today I had the restaurant call me 2 times to tell me to reorder cuz the driver. Lol. And then when I reordered the drivers would cancel. Over and over. 😅😂 Restaurant cooked my food but I ended to ordering food from FOOD PANDA. The restaurant said “not your fault. I will contact Grab.” Shame. Use a service that DOESN’T ALLOW DRIVERS TO CANCEL FOR NO REASON. Grab has probably the worst customer service of all the delivery services. Honestly, I really have no one but myself to blame for giving this another try. Don’t be me. Spending money on food shouldn’t be this hard. UPDATE: nothing has changed. This app is not user friendly. Unfortunately there’s no Uber service otherwise I would use them instead. There’s no way for a user to contact a support team via phone call or message. The system to report an issue is long and not helpful. There should be a chat tab or number you can call for assistance. My main issue is when using my card to pay for services they charge you even if grab has not completed the service. I picked a two stop grab ride and my driver only took me to one after saying he completed the ride, which was a lie. Grab should have a system in place where the rider also confirms the driver has took you to both stops before saying the ride is complete. But this app doesn’t seem to help or service the rider who is actually paying for the service. It only benefits the drivers since they can directly contact grab via a phone number and choose when the ride is completed. I wish there was another ride app I could use because I would. But I’ll stick to taxis and motorbikes from the main road from now on.

First of all, expect annoying popup offers pushed in your face endlessly. They assume you are a coupon cutting loser even if you have never used a discount or promotion once. No respect for the customer. After you spend a ton of money on the app and get Platinum whats it get you? Better service? 😂 No! It’s worse; they will keep combining your orders so you get cold food. Easier access to customer support? God No! Allow you to turn off spam popups? Nope. Just more stupid coupons! 🥴 In Summary; If you rely on this app, you must suffer.
Canceled all the time

Drivers, restaurants routinely cancel orders or don’t have what you ordered. You pretty much have to wait by your phone for 30 minutes hoping that your order will arrive which really defeats the purpose of ordering by app. On top of that Grab makes you pay first even if the restaurant doesn’t deliver.

Grab was really convenient right now, because of the pandemic it really helps a lot. But to protect riders for scamming i suggest that you allow 5k and up for online payment for anti-bogus or fake booking, it will helps alot to the riders. I saw alot of post in social media's that theres a lot of rider was been scammed by fake booking and cost a lot of money!. So please grab philippines let's work it out and make things convenient to everyone.

I can order food and pay with my American credit card about 40% of the time. It will say , payment rejected. When it doesn’t work, I have to login to the Android version with the same account and credit card just to place my order because the iPhone version doesn’t work. It’s ridiculous. How can it always work on Android but less than half the time on iPhone? Fix your garbage app. And don’t tell me to contact customer support. You tell them. I have better things to do than wait on the phone. You tell them. It’s a serious problem.

Their customer service rep would promise one thing to get you off their back and not follow through. I had to follow up with multiple phone calls but multiple reps ended up giving me conflicting information and not fulfilling their promise (in writing). When it works, it’s fine. But when you have an issue, you are on your own!

Hassle enough when someone use your phone and replace their particulars with yours on Grab, ridiculously more hassle to find a way to call and talk to a real person on Grab’s hotline to resolve the issue. The previous credit was gone, and the app service never fully reinstates. Grab shall have service centres in all cities just like what the telcos do.

Given how much money Grab has raised, one would hope the app user experience would be better. These are small things that continue to go unresolved after a long time. One, why does the iOS app have to reload entirely with forced authentication any time you temporarily switch apps? How many times have you been annoyed when you have to check an email for a location and then have to re-authenticate a second time? Two, why can’t they just send SMS confirmations when making Moca transactions instead of a voice call with poor audio? You’re supposed to pick up the phone call and put in the code within 30 seconds? There are more elegant and user friendly solutions.

Upgraded my phone in January, app wouldn’t load my account history. Put in a trouble ticket then my account was suspended on the 25th of Jan. Today is 02 March 2021. I have emailed and submitted at least 50 emails for help to no avail. No response, nada. You can’t even call grab “customer service” because that function is only a available through the app. There’s no phone number. I was a platinum member for 3 years...taking my money elsewhere.

I have been wanting to change payment method for months (to a new card, because I no longer use the old card). I’m getting tired of always having to pay cash for Grab. However, changing a simple payment method is extremely difficult. It seems like there are about 30 things I have to do to simply change the card, and when I do everything it still doesn’t activate. Trying to resolve this issue with customer service was mostly confusing, until the very end when they finally explained a different (confusing) way to change the payment. However, I now have to wait 24 hours because I’ve tried to enter the information too many times. It’s exasperating.

Update: Grab does not have voice support but only chat support which is a pain because the the chat support agents are not very responsive and not knowledgeable of their own service. The app keeps crashing when I try to upload documents for verification purposes. It doesn’t seem to work well for iOS or iPhone users.

Grab booking is the most terrible and most horrid app I use just to book a car. The amount of time wasted looking for a car is the stupidest thing I have experience. Why do I have to wait until the time for peak period for someone to take my booking. I have to keep waiting till the rate goes higher then a driver pick up, that is the most ridiculous and greedy thing I have experience with this system. I would like to point out that waiting 15-20 minutes for a grab is quite unreasonable as I understand the driver also have to make a living but, I have an designated appointment! Again I would like to point out how grab takes advantage of the customer as it takes away there time for waiting for booking and money as it make you wait to a point where it reaches peak period.

App works but there have been several times when arrival time is not correct. For example, when n it shows taxi is coming in certain time and i don’t want to wait that amount time, the taxi arrives already. It could confuse people and may end up canceling the ride.

I’ve been in Hanoi for three months. The app works great, rides are easy to arrange. I’ve used the app and service in several other cities in Vietnam, works great in all of them. But I can only use cash. If I add a card, I can’t get a ride. And I know this is a common problem, at least for Americans living in Hanoi. Fix that and it will be 5 stars.

This is probably the worst app I’ve ever used. Features like adding a card to pay with work and then stop working for no reason. The GPS portion of the app occasionally sends drivers to the wrong location and then they’re poised off at you. Adding to the problem is that a fairly high percentage grab drivers do not use the app or know how to use the app. All in all it’s a terrible service.

How could I know that My account will be suspended for when I change the phone number in the same phone and log in to grab 2. After the violation the solution is not acceptable. I echo the statements of others that customer service is really bad. They’re not rude or anything, just bad at what they do. Most recently, I submitted a comment through the app and received an email for follow up. The representative emailing me said to reply to the message to resolve my issue. When I did, I got an automatic reply stating that the email did not work for issues and that I had to use the app The problem is, when I use the app, I can only initiate the complaint but I cannot give any specific feedback. Thus there is no way to provide responses for follow up with the issue because there is no way to respond via email It creates a situation where it’s impossible to get any resolution

I ordered grab food and it went canceled from driver. So I ordered again and then driver asked me to cancel that order cuz he is far from the place. I just said okay and tried to cancel my order but it can’t cancel because of “restaurant is preparing”. So I called to the driver and told about that “can’t cancel”. He told me to place new order then the old one will replace automatically. So I did as he says. After placing new order , driver called me and said his order didn’t canceled , so I told him “can u cancel then?” When he made cancel, order went to the other driver. In that case I have a question, why my first Order didn’t go find the new driver and just show the Notification of driver canceled ? And why this time it went to the other driver automatically? Whatever... So I called to the new driver and explained that it was being two orders and I want one to cancel. Driver gave me a number to contact customer service for it. When I call customer service center, they told me one order can cancel but they called me again and said can’t cancel cuz both of the orders are on the way to deliver. I said I can’t take both orders ,I can take only one order. I explained everything what happened But They told me take both orders or they will close my account. What kind of customer service is that? It was delivery’s fault. Why don’t they cancel themselves and asking customers to do it for them. They are doing what they want and don’t take responsibility for it. Finally, I’m in trouble like that. I was using grab for a long time and it was useful for transportation. But for grab food? CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. If u can’t solve that kind of small inconvenience problem, why r u doing customer service center? I’m so disappointed in both of that food delivery men and grab food’s customer service. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. 2 most annoying problem with the app 1. Often initiating chat to driver not working. Keep clicking the chat button and it gives error message. The trick is either keep trying or wait for the driver to chat me first, and click on the iphone notification 2. Driver calls, I pickup and then can’t hear any voice from the driver after the call is connected

Every time I book a ride and the driver attempts to call me via the app, the call doesn’t go through. We go through an endless loop trying to figure out where we are. It’s such a primitive feature to implement yet Grab still doesn’t get it right. Update: it’s still garbage.

The Grab app itself is shiny and well-packaged with a fairly easy to navigate interface. One can access drivers, couriers and food delivery service all in one place. I can dig that. HOWEVER the customer service for missing items is garbage. At least here in Thailand. When I found that my order was missing an item I thought it would be a simple matter of reporting it. Luckily, I took pictures because I was excited about the haul and wanted to share it. (Always take pictures!!) I later learned that I would need them to prove that my item was missing—both pics of the bags they came in and the food collectively. About 10 emails later over the course of a month—and they would repeat, cut-n-paste style, what they had written on their first email or simply ignore my emails altogether until I sent a new one—here’s the summary of the response: We are SO sincerely sorry that we basically stole 60 baht, so HERE, have a 40 baht voucher and two 10 baht ones so that you have to spend 400 - 600 baht over 3 occasions to get the equivalent of what we stole. And BTW you can only have one voucher per order so those 10 baht vouchers just replace the 10 baht delivery vouchers you always have. It’s basically worthless! Have a nice day :) I wasn’t happy. I explained it at length. I told them if they didn’t remedy this by sending another 40 baht voucher, at least, I’d delete my account. Voila! Here I am enjoying Food Panda. ***UPDATED to 1 star. Developer template response 👎🏼 After all the hassle and deferral your company has given me, and the effort I applied to get it resolved, now you’re telling me to do MORE?? I don’t work for your company.. YOU do. Get off your butt and communicate with the appropriate departments. 🙄🙄 I’m sticking with Food Panda or ANY company other than yours.

Unable to add a second destination

After switching to an IPhone 11 I cannot add a second destination. Due to some glitch the app lacks the +sign that should be located next to the first destination that when clicked opens the field to add a second one. Which means that when I reach the first destination the trip is marked as finished. Then I have to rebook another trip and pay again for the base fair. I normally just pay cash to the driver off the App to take me to the second location which makes feel unsafe since there’s no record of the ride. I could get off the car and request a second driver through the app but due to the heavy Manila traffic it takes a long time until another available driver can be found.

I don’t want to use Sign in with Facebook. I hate Facebook and want nothing to do with them. I want to use Sign In with Apple, but Grab won’t let me. Also, practically speaking, what is a user supposed to do if they’ve deleted their Facebook account? Can they never use Grab again until they’ve changed their phone number? In short, this seems like either a.) a bug that is resulting in poor UI/UX, or b.) a sneaky attempt to force users to allow Sign In with Facebook, and all the tracking and data harvesting that this entails. Per Apple’s policies, any app that offers Sign in with Facebook HAS TO offer Sign In with Apple, so this seems like a clear violation of the official requirements for iOS developers. Maybe just a bug? If so, fix it please. If not, shame on you. I am reporting this to Apple.

If you want your food delivered cold because it’s been on a trip around town to deliver someone else’s order first then this is the service for you. These decisions that ignore what’s good for the customer while thinking of only the bottom line will be detrimental to consumers. Hopefully no merger will go through with Get and competition remains strong or they will continue to let greed rule at the expense of customers and riders. I can’t even complain in the app because then the driver is penalized for corporate greed.

During certain time you cannot use your bank card / credit card as payment like usual. They will say there’s not driver available while there are many around me. I contacted customers support and it was the worst customer service with no protocols. They just closed my issue with a generic reply. It’s unfair that there’s no other services to use when something like this happens since they monopolize the South East Asia market.

I ordered food through the app. The order was confirmed and said “restaurant is preparing your order,” “expected delivery 5:50-6:05pm” at 6:05 I checked the app to see where the driver was, is saw “your order has been cancelled as we don’t have an available driver. Try to place your order again.” No message, no email, no nothing. Just a change in the status when I went to check on my (previously confirmed and in process) order. When I went to try to place my order again, the restaurant I ordered from was unavailable. I called “customer service” and was told I “could try to call the restaurant and place an order and then take a grab to go pick it up.” I asked for help placing my order from the restaurant, help getting other food delivered, help with anything at all that could improve the situation. I was told that they don’t have the ability to assist with orders (I was told this from the customer service number on the app that I ordered from.) I (used to) use grab literally every single day for transport and very frequently for food delivery. I will no longer be using them.

Grab car needs workers that drive before 9am. I have tried to hail different vehicles more than 5 occasions. It is not a fluke nor are they busy. They are not available in my area: car, trike, & taxi in the morning.

I don’t even know where to start with this app. The service is awful. For the food delivery service, when you place an order and want to modify it 2 seconds after placing it, it does not let you do it in the app, and forces you to call them. But the call center takes a very long time to reach and they recently made it even harder to reach them by making you enter an “automatically generated pin” which expires in 5 minutes. As you navigate their extensive call center menu, by the time they ask you to put in the pin it has expired already, so you have to go back to the app and generated another one, which you have to memorize and put dial into the calling pad in your phone app, which also expires in 5 minutes, and so on and so forth... Many of the drivers in the app are not trained and are unprofessional. When I tell them to use the express way, some of them refuse even though I am paying for the toll fee. Sometimes they ask me to cancel the ride because they are eating and don’t want to come, but they accepted the job anyways. Some of them will press on their app that they have arrived when they have not arrived yet, which means you have to get in the car within 10 minutes or incur a cost (according to Grab policy), but you can’t find them because they didn’t arrive at your location. Other drivers have navigation issues and get lost or go in the opposite direction. If you’re not constantly watching the GPS, they may just waste 30 minutes to 1 hour of your time getting lost and stuck in Bangkok traffic. Use any other app whenever possible.

Half the time I can’t choose my pickup location, just somewhere close by. The app itself is a pile of marketing trash masquerading as a transport app and half the drivers can’t read a map so don’t know where to collect you from nor where to drop you off. You are better walking.

•Honestly I am really impressed by this app with multiple tasks in it. •I love to take grab taxi instead of random one for its security and service. • Yet some locations especially my home can’t be pin-pointed to show exactly where I am and this often leads me to more talking with taxi driver. Sometimes this is annoying cuz he waits for me at somewhere I have to walk far from my home to save my own time. • I’d be more excited to see the live movement of taxi with much less delay on the map in the app. • I’d be very happy to order Grab food if the app includes more restaurants and better results for the food/ restaurant search. This app is not user friendly. Unfortunately there’s no Uber service otherwise I would use them instead. There’s no way for a user to contact a support team via phone call or message. The system to report an issue is long and not helpful. There should be a chat tab or number you can call for assistance. My main issue is when using my card to pay for services they charge you even if grab has not completed the service. I picked a two stop grab ride and my driver only took me to one after saying he completed the ride, which was a lie. Grab should have a system in place where the rider also confirms the driver has took you to both stops before saying the ride is complete. But this app doesn’t seem to help or service the rider who is actually paying for the service. It only benefits the drivers since they can directly contact grab via a phone number and choose when the ride is completed. I wish there was another ride app I could use because I would. But I’ll stick to taxis and motorbikes from the main road from now on.

I’ve been using Grab for 4+ years and have passed a lot of money through their ecosystem, however I’ve decided on principle that I can’t support this company any longer as their customer service is absolutely terrible. As of late I’ve had a few orders in a row that were wrong, whether they were the restaurant or the drivers fault depends on the different orders, however after writing detailed explanations including photos, Grab support didn’t even bother getting back to me at all, let alone compensating me for my lost money and time. On top of what I’ve heard from the drivers (here in Southeast Asia a few years ago there was competition between Uber and Grab, and Uber took much better care of the drivers). Clearly this company does not have the customers nor the employees best interest in mind, they’re just out to take your money and get away with compensating you as little as possible. Look elsewhere. There’s lots of competitors who are hungry to satisfy their customers should there be any issues.

The app works fine when it works but building a ride share app is not hard. When things aren’t working, it takes 20-30 interactions with customer service AT A MINIMUM to get this fixed. The first order team has the technological knowledge of my grandmother (they know what an app and email is but not much more) and getting to somebody knowledgeable is near impossible. Also, when I call in I don’t want to hear “fill out an online form” to then get into email correspondence and then get told “call us” which has literally happened on every interaction with customer service for me. It’s disappointing because I joined hearing the customer service is better but frankly Go-Jek is cheaper and in Singapore, taxi drivers are great from a service perspective and readily available.

Grab booking is the most terrible and most horrid app I use just to book a car. The amount of time wasted looking for a car is the stupidest thing I have experience. Why do I have to wait until the time for peak period for someone to take my booking. I have to keep waiting till the rate goes higher then a driver pick up, that is the most ridiculous and greedy thing I have experience with this system. I would like to point out that waiting 15-20 minutes for a grab is quite unreasonable as I understand the driver also have to make a living but, I have an designated appointment! Again I would like to point out how grab takes advantage of the customer as it takes away there time for waiting for booking and money as it make you wait to a point where it reaches peak period.

I have been wanting to change payment method for months (to a new card, because I no longer use the old card). I’m getting tired of always having to pay cash for Grab. However, changing a simple payment method is extremely difficult. It seems like there are about 30 things I have to do to simply change the card, and when I do everything it still doesn’t activate. Trying to resolve this issue with customer service was mostly confusing, until the very end when they finally explained a different (confusing) way to change the payment. However, I now have to wait 24 hours because I’ve tried to enter the information too many times. It’s exasperating.

I echo the statements of others that customer service is really bad. They’re not rude or anything, just bad at what they do. Most recently, I submitted a comment through the app and received an email for follow up. The representative emailing me said to reply to the message to resolve my issue. When I did, I got an automatic reply stating that the email did not work for issues and that I had to use the app The problem is, when I use the app, I can only initiate the complaint but I cannot give any specific feedback. Thus there is no way to provide responses for follow up with the issue because there is no way to respond via email It creates a situation where it’s impossible to get any resolution

When the new pandemic happened, I haven’t been using Grab since March till now. I thought of using it for when the time comes to reuse the application again, but your rotten crusty skin like beings have to deduct my Grabpoints solely because I haven’t been using my Grab app at all??!!? This is unfair for us Grab users! I would love to save up my points for something later in the coming months and in hopes that nothing can go wrong, but you exist you greedy gold digging pigs. From Grab CS: “Please be informed that from 31 July 2020, GrabRewards Points will only be awarded for payments made with GrabPay Wallet.” Why didn’t you post this to all customers through the app?!? There is NOTHING in the Help Centre regarding this major policy change. When did you plan on announcing it? As if to add insult to injury, GrabPay Wallet can’t be topped up anymore, even from local banks! I have lost out on hundreds of points!!! Recently, my account was blocked for 24hrs for cancellations I never made! Drivers in Malaysia are using a hacked version of the app that snipes (steals) calls! Last night our new, untrained driver mesmerized by the app and GPS came to a full stop on the freeway. A 10 minute ride took 45 minutes. The night before that, a driver tapped “Picked Up” then no-showed, effectively disabling the app. Took an hour to sort out. While we have a 8 month old baby in tow. Grab is in the chaotic end stages of startup group think. They have monopoly status. Employees neither know nor care what anyone else is doing. They are way past giving a f@#k.

Grab was really convenient right now, because of the pandemic it really helps a lot. But to protect riders for scamming i suggest that you allow 5k and up for online payment for anti-bogus or fake booking, it will helps alot to the riders. I saw alot of post in social media's that theres a lot of rider was been scammed by fake booking and cost a lot of money!. 5 stars for service. Had an issue with a delivery, and when I called I got a person on the phone immediately. Such a change from what I’m used to these days. The customer service rep actually called the driver and had it all resolved within 10 min. True test is how companies respond to issues, and Grab nailed it.
Completely unsecure app with no respect for user privacy

Despite months of back and forth with Grab Support there is some random person who was able to take over my account by getting my recycled mobile number. This gave them access to my email address, as well as my ride and order history, and is s privacy violation. I also lost all rewards and points I had accumulated. Support is refusing to wipe my data from the other persons account and restore it to mine. This happened because the app ties everything to your phone number. Beware this app.

I’ve been in Hanoi for three months. The app works great, rides are easy to arrange. I’ve used the app and service in several other cities in Vietnam, works great in all of them. But I can only use cash. If I add a card, I can’t get a ride. And I know this is a common problem, at least for Americans living in Hanoi. Fix that and it will be 5 stars.

The Grab app, and the Grab service, are almost indispensable when I’m in SE Asia. It’s easy to book a ride, including selecting the type of car one needs. Being able to track the driver is a great feature. The option to pay from within the app in nice, although I haven’t used it. Highly recommended.
Having issues with paying with credit cards

I have been using credit cards for payment for the past 6 months. One day, I ordered grab food and the driver cancelled the order. Ever since that day, my credit card doesn’t work. I called my credit card company and they said they didn’t do anything and this is coming from grab. I tried to delete and add card (both same cards and different ones) again and it doesn’t work. This is inconvenient.

App works but there have been several times when arrival time is not correct. For example, when n it shows taxi is coming in certain time and i don’t want to wait that amount time, the taxi arrives already. It could confuse people and may end up canceling the ride.

I have to say that the most recent app update is no better. The food delivery fee is now at least 20k vnd, that extra 5k for every delivery is going to cost a lot within a month (or at least for someone like me who order Grabfood constantly throughout throughout the day). I haven’t try grabike on the new update just yet, but I will update this review later on after using it. In conclusion, nothing in particularly about this update that wow me about, pretty disappointed, thinking about witching to Baemin and Foody instead.

First of all, expect annoying popup offers pushed in your face endlessly. They assume you are a coupon cutting loser even if you have never used a discount or promotion once. No respect for the customer. After you spend a ton of money on the app and get Platinum whats it get you? Better service? 😂 No! It’s worse; they will keep combining your orders so you get cold food. Easier access to customer support? God No! Allow you to turn off spam popups? Nope. Just more stupid coupons! 🥴 In Summary; If you rely on this app, you must suffer.

2 most annoying problem with the app 1. Often initiating chat to driver not working. Keep clicking the chat button and it gives error message. The trick is either keep trying or wait for the driver to chat me first, and click on the iphone notification 2. Driver calls, I pickup and then can’t hear any voice from the driver after the call is connected

Upgraded my phone in January, app wouldn’t load my account history. Put in a trouble ticket then my account was suspended on the 25th of Jan. Today is 02 March 2021. I have emailed and submitted at least 50 emails for help to no avail. No response, nada. You can’t even call grab “customer service” because that function is only a available through the app. There’s no phone number. I was a platinum member for 3 years...taking my money elsewhere.

I just arrived in country and had no groceries and no card to use. I found my address and downloaded grab. Within 30 minutes, hot food delivered to my door by a professional and courteous driver. Excellent service.

Overall, I find grab to be helpful both in transportation and food delivery. I rely on it quite a bit. Lately though I keep getting slammed with late fees (4 times) because drivers check in before they have arrived. It adds up and it is frustrating.

I ordered my food on Grabfood and waited for 1.5 hours. Then, they told me there is no driver to pick up, and they don’t allow me to cancel the order. I tried an other restaurant on Grab. Same thing happened. Both orders couldn’t find driver to pick up. I checked my bank activities, it shown I have been charged for both orders, but I didn’t get any of the orders after waiting for 2 hours!
Application keeps crashing when using iOS devices

Update: Grab does not have voice support but only chat support which is a pain because the the chat support agents are not very responsive and not knowledgeable of their own service. The app keeps crashing when I try to upload documents for verification purposes. It doesn’t seem to work well for iOS or iPhone users.

This is probably the worst app I’ve ever used. Features like adding a card to pay with work and then stop working for no reason. The GPS portion of the app occasionally sends drivers to the wrong location and then they’re poised off at you. Adding to the problem is that a fairly high percentage grab drivers do not use the app or know how to use the app. All in all it’s a terrible service.
Canceled all the time

Drivers, restaurants routinely cancel orders or don’t have what you ordered. You pretty much have to wait by your phone for 30 minutes hoping that your order will arrive which really defeats the purpose of ordering by app. On top of that Grab makes you pay first even if the restaurant doesn’t deliver.
Cannot setup on new phone

App does not work. Old user’s data automatically populates when using a new phone number. No way to delete old information. Terrible.

Worthless Customer Support

When delivery drivers forget food orders, customer support does nothing. Wasted money. Corporate policies for fixing the issue are redundant and inefficient and usually lead to nothing being fixed or refunded. Leaves you only able to review the delivery driver, which isn’t fair since the problems are mostly corporate’s fault on how they handle cases. Use another app, this company is sh**.
Suspended my account for no reason

I’ve been a long time user of grab. I use daily to get coffee and food delivered. They randomly suspended my account, I’ve reached out multiple times and haven’t received any information on the reasoning. It’s been over a month and still no access to my account.
Just want to grab a taxi

Too many categories in the app and the update is way too large with those in it. Some ppl only want to use grab for a taxi so should think make a sub-app for other categories. (Now I want to call a cab asap but have to wait for the update to finish.)

Grab car needs workers that drive before 9am. I have tried to hail different vehicles more than 5 occasions. It is not a fluke nor are they busy. They are not available in my area: car, trike, & taxi in the morning.

When you’re in the city it’s always a reliable option for delivery, food, and transportation, and it is inexpensive. I prefer Grab to western apps like Uber and Lyft overseas.

Half the time I can’t choose my pickup location, just somewhere close by. The app itself is a pile of marketing trash masquerading as a transport app and half the drivers can’t read a map so don’t know where to collect you from nor where to drop you off. You are better walking.

The most insane violation policy ever. Both of my phone number was suspended and the solution is I need to change new number. 1. How could I know that My account will be suspended for when I change the phone number in the same phone and log in to grab 2. After the violation the solution is not acceptable. Thanks u Grab for introducing me to other riding service. Updated I’ve already reach out to vie Facebook but as I said above the respond from your team was to change phone number.
