Description
Want to see what you really look like?
A regular mirror flips your image, so you're not really seeing what everyone else does.
With Truth Mirror, a true mirror, the image you see, is what the rest of the world sees when they look at you!
If you use the built in IOS camera app it shows a mirror image while previewing and then flips it to true when you take your pic, so you can't really see what your picture will look like.
Now with Truth Mirror! You can preview your TRUE image and pose for self portraits and take a picture of the actual preview.
Then you can add captions, goodies, and frames to your pic and share it via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, etc….
After over a MILLION downloads we have done a full rebuild with some new features!

So I got the app, the app itself is good... but it still doesn’t help me figure out what I actually look like. Compared to the mirror the app shows me looking significantly different. So then I tested my regular camera and I looked even more different, so at this point I’m getting three different views and I just want to find out the truth. I think this app is fine but it definitely doesn’t display what you actually look like.

I'm really glad this app exists since it helped me become confident in taking photos/selfies of myself. I've always been really insecure about taking pictures of myself, since my face in pictures looked really different from the one I see in the mirror.
For anyone who felt insecure after using this app: I realized that my face in the mirror is actually the same as the one on camera, and that it's really just an optical illusion that my brain failed to initially recognize. The more I used this app, the more I've realized that my flipped face is actually almost the exact same as the one I see in the mirror. I think if others look at this more regularly and compare it alongside their mirror reflection, they'll probably see something similar.

They say a mirror flips your face right? Why doesn’t it flip the letters on your shirt than too? The letters on my shirt look backwards, but if you look at your shirt and then up at the mirror reflects exactly what it sees. I asked my family members and they said they saw me how I look in the mirror I don’t know for sure, but I think the mirror actually shows an accurate depiction of you

I did this because I wanted to stop running from the truth of what I actually look like, and while at first it made me feel really bad like everyone else for the most part, I learned it’s kind of deceiving. Don’t hold the camera all the way up to your face like a selfie, hold it away and it’s a much better look. Also take a screenshot, and go to edit the photo, click on the crop and it will straighten the photo, eliminating the crooked look the app gives you. The app work but the filters need to be tweaked slightly

The problem with this is its such a close up so all of your features are right out in the open anyways. With selfies, we are used to a certain image and my seeing the reverse it’s going to look terrible to anybody. No, this is not what you really look like. What i suggest is taking a video of yourself using the forward facing camera on your phone. Then nothing is reversed and you will come to see that you look almost identical to how you look in a real mirror. So save yourself the time and the stress and trust your mirror.

This app has boosted up my self-esteem. The camera on my phone and/or other applications make me feel like I look really bad. I’m glad I found this app because it helped me boost my confidence up by a lot. I feel like I now see what others see or it might be just my brain tricking me into thinking this is 100% accurate but either way I’m happy I found it for my self-esteem! Thank you.

This app does show your image reversed yes, but in a completely unflattering way. For one your phone can never show what you really look like. when you see yourself in the camera you are looking at the 2D version of you, and through a filter your phones camera puts on.

I took pictures with it flipped and not flipped, and then asked people which one was a more accurate depiction of me. To my surprise they said neither and that my selfies on snap was more accurate. Plus the camera on this takes in light weird and zooms in. The only reason I got this app was to see if my face was noticeably asymmetrical lol

The app is okay, but still it’s a phone camera. I asked my my mom and a friend if it looks the same as what they see, and they said not really, look better in person. So keep in mind that it’s not 100% accurate.

I was curious to how I looked to others and found this app. I knew it was going to look a little weird, but when I first used the camera , I looked pretty decent. Then I stared for a little longer, and everything changed. Is this seriously what I look like? I went from average to below average! 3 stars since the app does what it says it would do, but I wish there were warnings on this thing beforehand. I feel like actual trash. -💩🗑

No camera will ever be as high tech or advanced as the human eye. You’re going to already think you may look bad in this app anyways because you’re so used to seeing yourself in reverse whenever you look in a mirror. Reverse looks no different to you than what you actually look like to others. If you go in the mirror and think you look good today, than so will others. It’s a matter of what you’re used to, it doesn’t make any sense to look like Jesus in a mirror but absolute trash irl.

I as a person am super insecure with myself. I am obsessive to the point where I need to make sure both eyebrows are filled in the exact same, my hair is parted correctly, etc. This app is super misleading. For one the camera is zoomed in a lot which is un attractive for anyone. You're beautiful and you don't need a flaky camera app to tell you that. It morphs your face a ton and you obviously aren't going to look the best being that you are unsure of what to do with your face since you're not used to the camera moving that way. Do not download it is a waste of your time and not a boost to the confidence either.

This is dumb, but the reviews seemed too funny- I couldn't help it, so I downloaded. It's confusing. I get it's an inverted image of an inverted image, but why do people think they are so ugly when there's no difference..... ohhh right that's cause millennial's always use filters and Snapchat fanciful effect- you fools forgot what you looked like?! Lol. It's literally no different, but then again the "dress" was always blue and black to me, maybe this is one of those times. Or maybe it's cause I'm a chef and dietitian and don't eat all that processed junk..... also I never particularly liked my looks enough to delude myself hahahaha. If you really want sad, all these reviewers are likely going to age into even worse looks👀 bah-hahahaha. This app isn't accurate. Since it is a camera it's only in 2D meaning it is missing some angles therefore it's not showing you how you actually look like. Also a phone camera is pixelated and it also makes your face look distorted so if you think you look ugly don't worry.

Before trying this I was scared that I was going to face a horrible reality -- and that I might be hideous and just not even know it lol! But I actually look pretty much the same. If you want your insecurities to sky rocket and your self-conscious to fall down a well, this a app for you. On the bright side if you sit there and stare you ugly face for a couple days you will get used to how horrible you look and stunt on basic hoes who use regular mirrors.

I did this because I wanted to stop running from the truth of what I actually look like, and while at first it made me feel really bad like everyone else for the most part, I learned it’s kind of deceiving. Don’t hold the camera all the way up to your face like a selfie, hold it away and it’s a much better look. Also take a screenshot, and go to edit the photo, click on the crop and it will straighten the photo, eliminating the crooked look the app gives you. The app work but the filters need to be tweaked slightly

Improved My Confidence in Taking Photos

I'm really glad this app exists since it helped me become confident in taking photos/selfies of myself. I've always been really insecure about taking pictures of myself, since my face in pictures looked really different from the one I see in the mirror.
For anyone who felt insecure after using this app: I realized that my face in the mirror is actually the same as the one on camera, and that it's really just an optical illusion that my brain failed to initially recognize. The more I used this app, the more I've realized that my flipped face is actually almost the exact same as the one I see in the mirror. I think if others look at this more regularly and compare it alongside their mirror reflection, they'll probably see something similar.

This is dumb, but the reviews seemed too funny- I couldn't help it, so I downloaded. It's confusing. I get it's an inverted image of an inverted image, but why do people think they are so ugly when there's no difference..... ohhh right that's cause millennial's always use filters and Snapchat fanciful effect- you fools forgot what you looked like?! Lol. It's literally no different, but then again the "dress" was always blue and black to me, maybe this is one of those times. Or maybe it's cause I'm a chef and dietitian and don't eat all that processed junk..... also I never particularly liked my looks enough to delude myself hahahaha. If you really want sad, all these reviewers are likely going to age into even worse looks👀 bah-hahahaha. Anyway it's nothing worth downloading or getting weirdly suicidal over... it's a nonsense app that is as useless as it seems, here I was waiting for the punchline that never came. I was curious to how I looked to others and found this app. I knew it was going to look a little weird, but when I first used the camera , I looked pretty decent. Then I stared for a little longer, and everything changed. Is this seriously what I look like? I went from average to below average! 3 stars since the app does what it says it would do, but I wish there were warnings on this thing beforehand. I feel like actual trash. -💩🗑

I downloaded a bunch of mirror apps and tried them all. Tis one has the best set of features and nothing else. Great job! The one request I have is this: would it be possible to allow me to shift the center point that I zoom in on? Web you zoom in you still have to shift your face. It would be great if you could either pick a point to zoom in on or zoom and then slide the image around your face.

I as a person am super insecure with myself. I am obsessive to the point where I need to make sure both eyebrows are filled in the exact same, my hair is parted correctly, etc. This app is super misleading. For one the camera is zoomed in a lot which is un attractive for anyone. You're beautiful and you don't need a flaky camera app to tell you that. It morphs your face a ton and you obviously aren't going to look the best being that you are unsure of what to do with your face since you're not used to the camera moving that way. Do not download it is a waste of your time and not a boost to the confidence either.

This app has boosted up my self-esteem. The camera on my phone and/or other applications make me feel like I look really bad. I’m glad I found this app because it helped me boost my confidence up by a lot. so for a couple of weeks I was wondering what I looked like to other people,then I found this app and at first I thought I looked ugly cause I wasn’t used to seeing my actual self but a couple of weeks later I think I look better in real life than in the mirror..it’s far more accurate than a mirror because you can see how other people see you.

The problem with this is its such a close up so all of your features are right out in the open anyways. With selfies, we are used to a certain image and my seeing the reverse it’s going to look terrible to anybody. No, this is not what you really look like. What i suggest is taking a video of yourself using the forward facing camera on your phone. Then nothing is reversed and you will come to see that you look almost identical to how you look in a real mirror. So save yourself the time and the stress and trust your mirror.

The app is okay, but still it’s a phone camera. I asked my my mom and a friend if it looks the same as what they see, and they said not really, look better in person. So keep in mind that it’s not 100% accurate.

SUGGESTIONS:
After using the app awhile the only things that I would like is a way to undo a recent change to the photo (undo button), and a way to import photos from your photo album to apply the silly effects to old photos.

I have unfortunately encountered some problems with the app. One of the stickers doesn't work at all and one of them gets squished when you click on them. Also it's very challenging having to tap on stickers because they are often unresponsive to touch. I've decided to make this 4 stars because of this.

They say a mirror flips your face right? Why doesn’t it flip the letters on your shirt than too? The letters on my shirt look backwards, but if you look at your shirt and then up at the mirror reflects exactly what it sees. I asked my family members and they said they saw me how I look in the mirror I don’t know for sure, but I think the mirror actually shows an accurate depiction of you

No camera will ever be as high tech or advanced as the human eye. You’re going to already think you may look bad in this app anyways because you’re so used to seeing yourself in reverse whenever you look in a mirror. Reverse looks no different to you than what you actually look like to others. If you go in the mirror and think you look good today, than so will others. It’s a matter of what you’re used to, it doesn’t make any sense to look like Jesus in a mirror but absolute trash irl.

It is kind of slow and too sensitive if the screen is touched. After pic is taken, and one tries to go back to the live image, it takes like 5 seconds to go back. Overall, the app fulfills its purpose, it is a True Mirror and not an inverted image like most mirror app falsely advertise. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the slowless.

I took pictures with it flipped and not flipped, and then asked people which one was a more accurate depiction of me. To my surprise they said neither and that my selfies on snap was more accurate. Plus the camera on this takes in light weird and zooms in. The only reason I got this app was to see if my face was noticeably asymmetrical lol

I'm really glad this app exists since it helped me become confident in taking photos/selfies of myself. I've always been really insecure about taking pictures of myself, since my face in pictures looked really different from the one I see in the mirror.
For anyone who felt insecure after using this app: I realized that my face in the mirror is actually the same as the one on camera, and that it's really just an optical illusion that my brain failed to initially recognize. The more I used this app, the more I've realized that my flipped face is actually almost the exact same as the one I see in the mirror. I think if others look at this more regularly and compare it alongside their mirror reflection, they'll probably see something similar.

This isn’t your truth self . It doesn’t really reverse the image , to where you see your true self . Theirs a true mirror , on the market for 200 dollars , I highly recommend it , when this pandemic is over .

They say a mirror flips your face right? Why doesn’t it flip the letters on your shirt than too? The letters on my shirt look backwards, but if you look at your shirt and then up at the mirror reflects exactly what it sees. I asked my family members and they said they saw me how I look in the mirror I don’t know for sure, but I think the mirror actually shows an accurate depiction of you

I did this because I wanted to stop running from the truth of what I actually look like, and while at first it made me feel really bad like everyone else for the most part, I learned it’s kind of deceiving. Don’t hold the camera all the way up to your face like a selfie, hold it away and it’s a much better look. Also take a screenshot, and go to edit the photo, click on the crop and it will straighten the photo, eliminating the crooked look the app gives you. The app work but the filters need to be tweaked slightly

The problem with this is its such a close up so all of your features are right out in the open anyways. With selfies, we are used to a certain image and my seeing the reverse it’s going to look terrible to anybody. No, this is not what you really look like. What i suggest is taking a video of yourself using the forward facing camera on your phone. Then nothing is reversed and you will come to see that you look almost identical to how you look in a real mirror. So save yourself the time and the stress and trust your mirror.

This app has boosted up my self-esteem. The camera on my phone and/or other applications make me feel like I look really bad. I’m glad I found this app because it helped me boost my confidence up by a lot. I feel like I now see what others see or it might be just my brain tricking me into thinking this is 100% accurate but either way I’m happy I found it for my self-esteem! Thank you.

so for a couple of weeks I was wondering what I looked like to other people,then I found this app and at first I thought I looked ugly cause I wasn’t used to seeing my actual self but a couple of weeks later I think I look better in real life than in the mirror..it’s far more accurate than a mirror because you can see how other people see you.

This app does show your image reversed yes, but in a completely unflattering way. For one your phone can never show what you really look like. when you see yourself in the camera you are looking at the 2D version of you, and through a filter your phones camera puts on.

I took pictures with it flipped and not flipped, and then asked people which one was a more accurate depiction of me. To my surprise they said neither and that my selfies on snap was more accurate. Plus the camera on this takes in light weird and zooms in. The only reason I got this app was to see if my face was noticeably asymmetrical lol

I’m not exactly a selfie expert, but it does let me take a better one since I can see how it will look without my phone mirroring it after I snap the pic. It’s a reverse mirror, what more do you want?

Then I stared for a little longer, and everything changed. Is this seriously what I look like? No camera will ever be as high tech or advanced as the human eye. You’re going to already think you may look bad in this app anyways because you’re so used to seeing yourself in reverse whenever you look in a mirror. Reverse looks no different to you than what you actually look like to others. If you go in the mirror and think you look good today, than so will others. It’s a matter of what you’re used to, it doesn’t make any sense to look like Jesus in a mirror but absolute trash irl.

I as a person am super insecure with myself. I am obsessive to the point where I need to make sure both eyebrows are filled in the exact same, my hair is parted correctly, etc. This app is super misleading. For one the camera is zoomed in a lot which is un attractive for anyone. You're beautiful and you don't need a flaky camera app to tell you that. It morphs your face a ton and you obviously aren't going to look the best being that you are unsure of what to do with your face since you're not used to the camera moving that way. Do not download it is a waste of your time and not a boost to the confidence either.

This app isn't accurate. Since it is a camera it's only in 2D meaning it is missing some angles therefore it's not showing you how you actually look like. Also a phone camera is pixelated and it also makes your face look distorted so if you think you look ugly don't worry.

So I got the app, the app itself is good... but it still doesn’t help me figure out what I actually look like. Compared to the mirror the app shows me looking significantly different. So then I tested my regular camera and I looked even more different, so at this point I’m getting three different views and I just want to find out the truth. I think this app is fine but it definitely doesn’t display what you actually look like.

I downloaded a bunch of mirror apps and tried them all. Tis one has the best set of features and nothing else. Great job! The one request I have is this: would it be possible to allow me to shift the center point that I zoom in on? Web you zoom in you still have to shift your face. It would be great if you could either pick a point to zoom in on or zoom and then slide the image around your face.

Mirrors have been lying to me my whole life. This app is awesome. Got the full version and omg can't wait for more things xD
SUGGESTIONS:
After using the app awhile the only things that I would like is a way to undo a recent change to the photo (undo button), and a way to import photos from your photo album to apply the silly effects to old photos.

I have unfortunately encountered some problems with the app. One of the stickers doesn't work at all and one of them gets squished when you click on them. Also it's very challenging having to tap on stickers because they are often unresponsive to touch. I've decided to make this 4 stars because of this.

They say a mirror flips your face right? Why doesn’t it flip the letters on your shirt than too? The letters on my shirt look backwards, but if you look at your shirt and then up at the mirror reflects exactly what it sees. I asked my family members and they said they saw me how I look in the mirror I don’t know for sure, but I think the mirror actually shows an accurate depiction of you

Before trying this I was scared that I was going to face a horrible reality -- and that I might be hideous and just not even know it lol! But I actually look pretty much the same. I discovered that my teeth aren't quite as straight as I thought they were so that's a bummer. Nothing I'll lose any sleep over . Cool app! 👍

No camera will ever be as high tech or advanced as the human eye. You’re going to already think you may look bad in this app anyways because you’re so used to seeing yourself in reverse whenever you look in a mirror. Reverse looks no different to you than what you actually look like to others. If you go in the mirror and think you look good today, than so will others. It’s a matter of what you’re used to, it doesn’t make any sense to look like Jesus in a mirror but absolute trash irl.
Kind of slow

It is kind of slow and too sensitive if the screen is touched. After pic is taken, and one tries to go back to the live image, it takes like 5 seconds to go back. Overall, the app fulfills its purpose, it is a True Mirror and not an inverted image like most mirror app falsely advertise. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the slowless.

After watching the Vsauce video that described mirrors and their tricks, I had to download this app! It's pretty cool because it actually shows your flipped image in real time instead of having to take a picture every time you want to see how you look with the camera app. Awesome!

This app is accurate! I know because my friend parts her hair the same as mine and when I flip the image to what I look like in real life, it's on the same side as my friends hair when I look at her!! Regular cameras make me look ugly and I'm glad I don't really look like that

People's brains get trained to think the pictures of themselves in the mirror are beautiful. That's why when you look at the actual pictures of yourself, they look so ugly.

I was scared to open the app for fear I might look worse in the mirror but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the only difference was that I look a little prettier! 🙂 I got to see what other people see and it was a nice experience.

I was using a regular mirror all of my life and I would think to myself "okay yeah I'm not that bad looking" but now that I've seen what I really look like... Let's just say I have a bottle of bleach sitting next to me and I'm on a one way ticket to deaths doorstep. But hey, at least I know now!

If you want your insecurities to sky rocket and your self-conscious to fall down a well, this a app for you. On the bright side if you sit there and stare you ugly face for a couple days you will get used to how horrible you look and stunt on basic hoes who use regular mirrors.

This isn’t your truth self . It doesn’t really reverse the image , to where you see your true self . Theirs a true mirror , on the market for 200 dollars , I highly recommend it , when this pandemic is over .

I can see what they were trying to achieve but I don’t think they realized that camera lens stretch your face shape and such. So ummmm......you know, you might not actually look like how it shows you.

I'm mainly confused because not only does it look like it slants you're face but for it flips you're image but so does it when you for example take a video of yourself. So would seeing yourself on video be the same thing?

I’m not exactly a selfie expert, but it does let me take a better one since I can see how it will look without my phone mirroring it after I snap the pic. It’s a reverse mirror, what more do you want?

I bought the in app purchase to remove ads and went to restore it, but there was no way to do so that I could find after spending the most frustrating amount of time I could listening to ad after ad pop up. All while simply looking for a restore purchase button!

I usually don't write reviews but this app was so frustrating I just had to write one. It has one simple function yet it's so overrun with ads that you can't even use that simple function without having to wait 1 minute for a pointless ad to end. Do not download, is a waste of time.

I took pictures with it flipped and not flipped, and then asked people which one was a more accurate depiction of me. To my surprise they said neither and that my selfies on snap was more accurate. Plus the camera on this takes in light weird and zooms in. The only reason I got this app was to see if my face was noticeably asymmetrical lol
