Works
by Hod Hasharon on 2015/03/28 04:23
I've tried many todo apps. None kept me using them like Todoist. It's simple , works well cross platform and doesn't confuse me with features that I don't need.
So close but yet so far
by ejhines on 2015/03/27 20:04
It works like a champ on my iPhone 6 plus and iPad Air 2, but alas no joy on my windows and MacBook Pro, it simply won't let me login, freezing and doing nothing at the login screen
Great extension
by TimberTumbler on 2015/03/27 17:19
Love he integration between computers and iPhone. Simple and intuitive.
Really good
by therickaustin on 2015/03/27 14:29
Most impressive is the platform coverage. Your to do list can be available anywhere you are (computer, tablet, phone and it even works on some smart watches).
Slick App, but will not buy premium
by Caramel54Twix on 2015/03/27 02:04
Smooth, easy to use, premium features as overpriced, should be standard
One of the best task managers I've found
by Stever777 on 2015/03/27 01:26
TODOist is simply one of the best task managers I've found. Though it's simple and clean, it packs a lot of power. My staff uses it to collaborate on shared projects, hand off tasks between team members, and work from anywhere -- desktop, iDevice, or web. When I've needed support, the response has been immediate, courteous, and effective. A top-notch product and top-notch company.
Not real integration with Outlook
by Depcot on 2015/03/27 01:12
This might be a great app, but it doesn't have real syncing with Outlook tasks.
Great App
by jmtaylo7 on 2015/03/26 21:47
Good task management app. By far the best one I have found.
Not particularly easy to use
by Pj Phillips on 2015/03/26 21:38
I found todoist not particularly user friendly. It must be better than I think it is 'cause otherwise it's really poor. I don't understand the internal logical flow of it.
Works great!! Be consistent with it!
by Migman1992 on 2015/03/26 17:37
This app does exactly what it is supposed to plus so much more. If you're going to use it my suggestion is this: -Try it with the intention of using the premium version if you like it. That's where the magic really happens. - Take the time to learn all the features. It is really an investment. You will navigate this thing easily and take real advantage of everything it offers - Incorporate it into your routine. Like all good things, you only get out of it, what you put in. The payout is unmeasurable Enjoy
Best To-do app I have ever used
by Jefferydperry on 2015/03/26 01:23
I have tried everything and this app is well worth the pro premium price and does literally everything you can think of and works with nearly every device!
Great so far.
by Hayduke8 on 2015/03/25 22:33
Liking it so far.
Terrific To-Do App
by ES Principal MD on 2015/03/25 22:31
Available on all devices: phone, tablet, computer. SMS messages reminders work perfectly. Simple, clean interface. An outstanding app to support productivity. Money well spent!
Excellent App
by Real Google Guy on 2015/03/25 22:28
interface and productivity = perfect
Excellent for motivation
by MStephens1234 on 2015/03/25 19:57
I'm slowly having my palm pilot pried out my hands and this app is helping with that. Things I love: - the ability to focus just on today's tasks - the ability to add labels and view all tasks with those labels - the ability to create separate projects and include (or not) those in with main tasks - the extreme flexibility of how due dates can be input. It can be simple, or It can get pretty complicated. (That's almost like programming) - the tracking of completed tasks. They don't just disappear forever, they go to a karma done list where I can sit and exult over all I got done. - the ability to reorder tasks by dragging them to reflect the order I anticipate doing them. - the ability to create three levels of sub tasks in projects. Things I don't care for: - setting priority on a task makes it rise to the top and stay there. I understand why, but I'd still like to be able to move it around. - i can't see tasks I've set for days farther ahead than 7. I can easily forget I put them in and put them in multiple times. - I can't see how to add notes to tasks. As you can see, these are small quibbles, so I'm mostly quite satisfied with this app. If my productivity for the year matches my productivity over the first three days I've had it, it will $28 well spent.

Fantastic!! You won't find a better to do app.
First and Last App I Touch Daily
by Bruce and Donna on 2015/03/24 17:34
With an unbelievably intense schedule, subject to daily chaos and intense pressure, ToDoist has become my guide, scout, consultant and therapist, providing me peace of mind that I'm involving myself where I should, when I should, while reducing an amazing amount of stress that used to exist due to my attempting to manage to-do lists with my limited sets of tools, i.e., note pads and Outlook calendar. I recommended ToDoist to every professional I cross paths with, and in conjunction with Evernote, TaskClone, Gmail and Google calendar, I've been able to recapture personal time in my life while increasing me effectiveness of results of the time that I devote to my work. Thank you ToDoist!!!
Very Useful
by Lziris on 2015/03/24 16:16
Handy. Keeps me on track.
Very impressed
by Aerographer on 2015/03/24 11:17
Just started using this app a few days ago and I am already liking it head and shoulders above others I have tried. I love the fact that I can link it with my calendars and I love the fact that I get daily reminders in my email about upcoming tasks I have set so that I can keep better track of my a, b and c priorities... Thanks todoist, I know you must continue to improve in order to remain competitive but please be cautious when making changes to the core functionality of the app.
Fantastic
by VintijAdorned.com on 2015/03/24 04:47
Really a great app. I capture ideas and to-dos on the run and can have access to them anywhere. Combined with the "get things done" productivity model, it's very helpful and a powerful organizational tool.
Better if linked with Calendar, day and specific time slot for action
by Sicchellokitty on 2015/03/24 01:30
It would be much more helpful if it can coordinate and sync directly into periods when a specific To Do action can be taken
Great app
by Thejeepgeek on 2015/03/23 15:31
Great app for people with adhd to keep in task
Great app - needs a few more features / emphasis on improvements
by Sonicflight on 2015/03/23 01:09
Great app for organizing tasks with different devices. Would like to see printing options, calendar view and better detail tracking. Not sure it's worth the $29/year uplift cost they want for an upgrade.?!?! Additionally, looking at their version history, seems like no real emphasis on improving the app, instead almost all updates over the past year has been 'bug fixes'. Very disappointed in that.
Competent To Do App With Good Cross-Platform Support
by Jeff Garretson on 2015/03/22 16:27
I had been using OmniFocus and love it in many ways, but it's Apple-only and that just doesn't fit my life. Todoist has the cross-platform support I need (including Outlook integration), so +1 star for that. Unfortunately it's missing the deferred tasks, visibility control, and periodic review features that make OmniFocus so good, so -2 stars because giving up those features really hurts. That said, I have switched over to Todoist, and overall I'm glad I did. Net: 4 stars.
Nudge
by Finallyaxel on 2015/03/22 15:20
I have tried multiple task management apps and love this one. I use it to nudge me to complete tasks and track small and big commitments I make. I like that I can assign times to do the tasks and that it shows up on my calendar so I can see if I may be trying to get too much done in one day than is reasonable. I believe I now have a sustained growth in my productivity and a more reasonable plan for what I can get done in a day so that I feel accomplished.
Excelente task manager
by who808 on 2015/03/22 01:43
Really like the outlook and gmail integration
Best Multi Platform Task Manager
by tknofetish on 2015/03/21 23:51
Works on my phone, my iPad, my MacBook, my windows PC and probably a ton of other platforms too. Never realized how critical that was until I tried it...
Best Todo List out there- use with Sunrise!
by Ematton on 2015/03/21 19:47
I've loved Todoist for a few months, but due to software issues on my old phone couldn't get it on my mobile app for awhile. Since upgrading my phone, I've gotten to see just how wonderful todoist is as I have my phone on me all the time. I integrated it with my Sunrise app (the best calendar app out there) which shows you your to do's in a calendar view along with your events. Very handy! Only comment is that I wish there was an easier way to drag and drop or reorder tasks as sub tasks etc. It's possible to do the su tasks on the mobile app, but is far less user friendly and seamless as online. Great app! Worth the premium yearly charge!
5 stars
by all_nd on 2015/03/21 11:17
I have been few a few different to-do lists and this is by far the best he best. Nice blend of simplicity and high end features.

I use it everyday, a free and quality product.
Super for managing projects and tasks
by Jericho68 on 2015/03/18 23:55
Great for keeping track of many tasks on many projects. syncing across devices and platforms works perfectly-without having to use Dropbox like other apps. A monthly calendar view would be a great upgrade.

Great for the busy college student!
by areyn258 on 2015/03/17 17:01
I have an insane schedule between my college classes, my sorority, my 3 jobs, and my other extracurriculars. Having ToDoist makes my life so much easier. It lays out everything from all of my calendars in an easy to access and understandable manner. It's so great. And that's just the free version!
iPhone app needs tweaks
by TonezRHard on 2015/03/17 13:22
Good list app, but iPhone version needs a couple changes: allow projects with sub-projects to be collapsed in list view (like on web site), and on re-opening, default to same last view; right now when it opens I have to tap several times just to get back to the same project to add a new task, which gets old.
Great app
by dahef34 on 2015/03/17 04:32
This has to be the best todo app on the market. I do wish there was a calendar view so I could see events weeks or months out but I didn't take off a star for it because it is so useful.
Everything I Want in a Task Manager
by GodDamnItFrank on 2015/03/17 03:44
Love the api.
4 stars and climbing
by Barry S. Novick on 2015/03/17 03:20
Like you, I have so many things to do and not enough time to get to them. So many calls to make, emails to send, files to review, birthday cards to buy, dry cleaning to pick up, all on top of more important tasks like going to work, picking up the kids, doing the laundry and show up on time for the dentist. I finally have found one place to list them all and easy enough to whip out my iPhone or iPad or my Mac. So easy to enter it only takes a minute or two. I hope to find a reason to upgrade but have to learn to use some of the other features included in the free edition.
One missing element
by LiL Scrammy on 2015/03/17 02:53
Admittedly I may be unaware but the key feature I am missing is the ability to sync with a calendar.
Great time and sleep saver
by Dwm1034 on 2015/03/16 20:39
I have been using this app for roughly a month and really like it. I've used pen and paper; excel; and outlook/tasks - and this beats them all hands down. Love how it sits on top of outlook and let's me move mail into the lists...
Great app
by MrMayor on 2015/03/16 12:36
This is just what I've been looking for.
Well done!

Excellent
by Adagio47 on 2015/03/15 21:15

Learning GTD by using it
by Peter Nazucki on 2015/03/15 18:16
Beginning to learn gtd methods and this app works for as much as I know so far.
Great task manager!
by Entwil on 2015/03/15 17:21
This is by far the best app I've used for time/task management. Everyone should be using it!
Good but basic
by Eggroll88 on 2015/03/15 15:15
Needs ability to add attachments etc... Subscription/in-app is expensive for value it provides.
Good app
by nickgronow on 2015/03/15 13:06

Fantastic!
by Srthomas622 on 2015/03/15 11:09

Perfeito e eficiente
by Valnier on 2015/03/15 02:22
Filters Don't Work Yet
by Juergs on 2015/03/14 22:07
Not if you use projects Filters in the iOS don't work yet.
Great
by Schmoo253566 on 2015/03/14 19:04
Only thing I would change would be not only to put them in order by priority but in order within there also. Maybe I just haven't figured out how to do it. Best app I've found for what I need.
Best in class
by sem70 on 2015/03/14 16:27
I've tried a lot of different products in this genre. This is hands-down the best I've worked with.
Great tool, multi platform is seamless
by GabeIsCoding on 2015/03/13 23:46
I use this on my phone, Mac and with the outlook integration on my work desktop.
I am now productive
by Rye789ipi on 2015/03/13 21:27
This app has become my assistant. Using it with GTD principles.
Best todo app
by Ondutie on 2015/03/13 16:32
In my experience, this is a great app that keeps your priorities in order!
Great, with room for improvement.
by jaktheking on 2015/03/12 17:38
I'm finally getting things done at a reasonable pace and efficiency. It's a bit of a chore to train others to use a task manager, but I think there's promise. Room for improvement. I find myself wishing that it had calendar integration. I wish I could add tasks to my calendar, and I wish that I could see my calendar. Also, I wish my contacts where better integrated. In my notes/comments etc, I wish I could use the "@" to pull up contacts and their info. That would be HUGE. Other than those two things, I think the app is pretty dang good and worth the money.
Fantastic!!
by ValDelValle on 2015/03/12 17:17
I use it every day for my work and personal life. I also use the extension offered through Chrome on my desktop, which makes it super convenient.
Awesome
by Deeehn on 2015/03/12 16:44
I use daily
A little disappointed...
by AAIGH on 2015/03/12 10:44
Pretty good app, but why should I have to pay so much to get a reminder?? I can't believe that the reminders are not free, as on other apps.
very handy tool
by Kyle Pettit on 2015/03/11 04:03
Very useful for staying organized and reminders.
I depend on this thing
by Uncrunchable on 2015/03/10 21:06
It's really good
Good task manager
by Turdsparkler on 2015/03/09 11:37
As the app has updated it has improved usability and functionality (less buggy, more responsive). The karma function might work well for those who like measurable goals and rewards, but I appreciate that users are able to dismiss this function.
Best app ever
by Jmusicboy on 2015/03/09 05:50
Use this app daily to manage literally 4 diff companies with 50+ employees. Works perfectly. I make all my employees buy it
Excellent product all around
by Scottcol on 2015/03/08 04:35
Like this product a lot - the great execution on all platforms is a huge help. Would like to see faster path to inbox - I have captio wired up to inbox for that purpose.
Excellent task manager!
by Ron-R1 on 2015/03/07 21:15
Love the ease of use and portability. Only gripe is the need to go into a side bar to access the projects versus having them on the front page.
Nice, but flawed
by HolyDuck on 2015/03/07 20:56
I really like the clean design and the fact that the service is very cross platform, and the is a nice implementation of GTD. But many shortcuts work inconsistently and the handling of projects, tasks and especially subtasks is decidedly baffling...
Great app
by Bleupoynt on 2015/03/07 16:44
Works fantastic as both a web and smartphone app!
simply the best 👑
by koalakoala on 2015/03/06 15:55

Glaring gaps
by Neerajc77 on 2015/03/06 02:02
Good simple powerful set of capabilities - but has some glaring gaps even after you pay $28 for it! - indenting / outline of tasks works on desktop but not in iOS. Wow. Why? - if subtasks as outline are created in desktop, the sub tasks don't move along as a group when you slide the parent task up or down in iOS. - why can't one collapse a group of subtasks in iOS? -
Simple with complex options under the surface.
by Throbbert The Oppressor on 2015/03/05 20:55
I primarily use the iPhone app and website for this review. I just transferred almost all iOS Reminders to Todoist and I'm continually pleased by the new options I'm finding. From the widget display to the intuitive (swipes) AND standard methods of completing tasks. The task colors even make it feel like I'm playing a video game. ToDoist is simple on the surface with all the complex options easily learnable through the constant links (found on the website version of Todoist. Not sure about other versions.) I suggest that if you use an iPhone with Siri to input items Grocery, Shopping, and a general to-do list, you keep those in iOS Reminders. You can then use "IFFT" (another priceless and free app.) To automate the process of carrying over your iOS reminders to their matching lists, or the inbox, of To-Doist. I spent a great deal of time comparing and contrasting the different productivity apps like ToDoist, Wunderlist, Evernote, OneNote, and Workflowy. Todoist beats them in robustness. Evernote might tie it or be a close second (I prefer the simplicity of iOS Notes) but Evernote is $15 more a year. Nope, ToDoist Premium is perfect for me at $29.99... ...with one exception! Todoist has a version on every platform, but it misbehaved for me when I had the website version and the Chrome extension version at the same time! You may notice this if you start a project and it disappears on you instantly. Once I disabled the Chrome extension and made sure the app was closed on my phone, I had no problems. Since this does not effect my work, it does not chip off the coveted fifth-star.
Excellent
by Alex Alexzander on 2015/03/05 16:10
Pretty darn good. Not perfect but so very close.
Easy, Effective To Do List
by tkofford on 2015/03/05 12:42
I've tried a lot of " To Do" lists and this one is simply one of the best I've found. The fact that it's really easy to use but also works & syncs on all my devices make it a no brainer decision.
Fantastic
by jaggyg3 on 2015/03/05 06:46
Update - March 2015: loads of elegant new features and quiet improvements. Still no bloat. Simple and powerful. In my top 3 most used and loved apps year in year out (and I have 100s of apps). June, 2013: I've been using the web-based Todoist since I first stumbled across it in 2008. It was the cleanest, most nimble, feature packed task manager back then - in a word: elegant. A task manager perfectly suited to the GTD set. I was thrilled earlier this year to discover the iPhone version. Full featured and as gorgeous to look at and interact with as anything the most talented Apple engineers would design as core functionality. Now a beautiful iPad app joins the ranks, and well worth the wait! I've bought and used Todo, Action Lists, Remember The Milk, and countless others. This is the one you'll stick with. Best of all, through all of Todoist's growth, they have managed to avoid feature bloat. It is as nimble to use now as it was 5 years ago. Keep up the great work keeping it simple guys! Premium subscription is worth every penny. Nothing will keep you more productive than a copy of Getting Things Done and Todoist on each of your devices. A solid 5 stars.

Almost too good to be free, but it is
by TheOneCalledChris on 2015/03/05 04:41

Fantastic Productivity Aid
by Tinman2112 on 2015/03/05 02:42
I have never worked with a more intuitive app for getting things done. Simply put- It just works.
Great Task Manager
by Lynchrx on 2015/03/04 19:46
This is a great task management app. Powerful feature of being able to define labels and filters. 4 stars because the label view is poorly conceived. Sorts by number of tasks for that label, and no other sorting option is available.
Amazing app
by Princeofnevada on 2015/03/04 16:02
I couldn't find the completed tasks. May be I wasn't looking in the right place. Overall an amazing app.
Multiple Platforms and Outlook integration Are the Differentiators For Me
by redbug61 on 2015/03/04 11:40
I've tried just about every highly rated task manager that has come along. In addition to this review's title words, I also think Todoist comes closest to combining the dual needs of task and project management.
Good app but way too expensive for what it is
by CJRCKCRWLR on 2015/03/04 05:27
I really like the app but the cost for the premium version is too much. It's just not worth it for what you get.
Great app!
by J_Muller on 2015/03/04 02:24
I was using Things as my GTD app, and recently made the switch. Totally worth it. Love how it works cross-platform and integrates with other apps.

We enjoy the shared lists. The variety of solutions across platforms is a great bonus.
Simple - and therefore great
by twistedTightly on 2015/03/02 16:36
I am a bit of a productivity junkie - I love to do apps! But I needed one that fit my workflow best. After doing lots of research, Todoist came out on top. That was over a year ago, and I haven't looked back. It's simple to use and free. No bells or whistles. Love the filtering of tasks by due date, that it's cross platform, and the stats tracking. I use the Mac app frequently. Clean UI.
Perfect

All the features I need and amazing cross-platform support.

No calendar view, but easy to use on many devices
by Surfer806 on 2015/03/02 08:17
My biggest gripe with this is that there isn't a full calendar view. It would be really nice to have a month-long or week-long view to visualize what I have due when. Also REALLY wish there was a "schedule for later" feature so tasks that aren't due immediately would just disappear until later and my to do lists would be less cluttered. I'm an executive assistant so I have 8 million pending tasks at all times and not all are immediate. The main reason I do like and use this app every day is that I can seamlessly use it on my iPad, iPhone, and on the web from anywhere. Super super helpful and love that they don't charge for each device like some other apps do. Also upgrading for the reminders and notes was really worth it for me
Exactly What I Have Been Looking For

Reminders cost money?
by Lily-Pearl on 2015/03/02 05:07
Not bothering with this. What's the point of an electronic to do list without reminders. When I like an app I'm willing to pay - but not letting me try the reminder feature is uncool. Looks like I will try another app - thanks but no thanks.
Robust options, easy interface, synching not great
by Jesse Lee in Boulder on 2014/07/12 16:48
I've been using this app for a little over two weeks. Prior to that, I used Daylite for almost 5 years to manage my tasks, contacts, projects and calendar. I shopped around, reading articles for about a month. I definitely wanted an app that would work on my iPhone and laptop. This app isn't perfect but I love the fact that you can share tasks with other users, have repeating tasks and make sub-tasks. Also the user interface is super easy to use. However, I do agree with the other reviews that the synching is a little buggy. It always pushes things from the desktop to the phone completely and reliably. But things entered on the phone, don't always make it to the desktop and, if they do, any note attachments don't. I've also found that completing a task on my phone means I won't be able to find it on the desktop. So, I try to enter things from the desktop app as much as possible. I'm not too upset because I've found it's not uncommon for apps that involve a calendar and a mobile/laptop synching element, to have similar bugs. On a minor note, I do wish that it automatically ordered tasks by date (soonest to most distant, with no due date coming last) in each project. It does so on the "today" and "this week" home screen but would be great if system-wide. Overall I'm happy with ToDoist and don't even mind paying the $30 per year for a premium subscription, so long as the developers continue to work out the bugs.
Great task manager but lacking in a few areas
by sflomenb on 2015/01/19 00:15
I have tried many task managing apps, and I think this app is the one for me. It has all of the essential features of a todo list app, such as multiple lists. For me, it is absolutely necessary to have all of my todos everywhere I am, on all of my devices. Not only does Todosit support the devices I have (Mac, iPhone and iPad) but 10 other platforms/applications as well. Todosit supports labels (or contexts, in other apps) and filters, so you can view exactly the right todos for the right time, place or any thing else you can think of. With a premium subscription of $28/year, you get notifications (either for time or by location), automatic backups, and notes/file attachment. Additionally, Todoist has an excellent collaboration system, allowing you to invite others to view your projects, and assign specific tasks to yourself or to others. There are a few lacking features. I love how it has a Today Widget and interactive notifications (new iOS 8 features). I would really like to see Handoff support between my iOS devices and Mac. Also, a big big missing feature is end dates for repeating tasks. Otherwise, the app is good. Everyone should try it, it’s free.
Perhaps the best list manager for IOS
by aCanuckintheUSA on 2013/09/15 17:55
I don't normally bother with writing reviews as I am usually too busy to take the time, however I felt that I had to offer a review as this app has exceeded my expectations. I have tried at least seven other "to do" apps including Wunderlist, To do, Tasks, etc- and this app has replaced them all. The best list manager is the one that you actually use- and for me, that breaks down to how easy is it to add an item quickly when you are on the go, the graphic interface, will it update and sync to all my devices (instead of separate lists on separate machines), and Todoist does all of that elegantly. I wish the app shared the same kind of robust interface as an actually application on my laptop (although the web interface is just as good as the IOS version), hence the 4 star rating. This is also one of the very, very few apps that I have actually paid a yearly subscription to because it is so absolutely essential in keeping me on track. Give this app a try- I will be surprised if you are dissapointed.
Excellent and Best of All
by uwabs on 2013/09/28 08:18
I had spent so much money on Task Management Apps ranging from Omnifous to Things and to the bottom of them all but never found any satisfaction in these Apps despite huge sums of money spent on them. They failed to meet what I would consider as the essential requirements expected of a helpful Task Management App in our modern day busy environment. Then when I was about giving up I ran into Todoist in the course of searching for better Task Management App that really meets the need. I bought it and began to check it out. Within minutes and with great delight I subscribed to the Premium Upgrade. I do not think I will ever remember or use the hundreds of Task Management Apps I had earlier purchased from the Itunes Store. This App is excellent and feature rich. The Support is great. I am just simply overwhelmed and can't wait to tell everyone I know to purchase the App without delay. Todoist is the best of them all and may remain the very best for a very long time!!!!
Great iPhone app and interface with other apps
by Jules42888 on 2014/02/01 05:43
The Todoist apps (I use iPhone and PC/windows app) keep getting better. I spent many hours doing research and testing out various productivity / to-do list systems and I think this one is the clear winner. For me cross-platform usage was key since I need to be able to enter stuff on the go on my iPhone but easier to modify stuff in detail on my PC. This does this fantastically and allows me to set a variety of parameters (priority, due date, project, adding files to tasks) easily. Two tips on this: --Give yourself a little bit of time to try it out before you make the final judgment -- it takes a bit of getting used to but is very fast once you've had a bit of time on it (this is the case for most of the to-do apps). --Upgrade to the premium version. For most of us, the impact of a good productivity app. is so much greater than the cost that it's worth trying it out with all the features.
Best task app ever, especially for ADHD
by twseal77 on 2014/08/31 16:01
I have ADD and I have been through a lot of apps and methods for trying to stay on task and remember stuff. This is by far the best app I have ever used... In fact so good that I normally don't write reviews, this is the first. It is very simple and quick to use, you van use it online on the web page on your PC with PC/mac app and on iPhone and iPad. I like the simplicity and ease of use. I like that I can add notes, attach files and keep categories for different things, like school, work, etc. So many apps and methods out there for ADD require a bunch of steps and processes and 'remember to remember' methods that don't work. If I could remember in the first place or keep my attention span long enough that might be ok, but I can't. This is the only app I have found that is simple and quick enough that I can pay attention and quickly add, update, and keep my life organized without being over complicated.
Works great, shareable, multi-platform, easy
by Kirk032167 on 2014/11/11 22:20
I have an iPad and an iPhone 6+. I'm not sure why everyone is complaining about this app. It works great. It syncs quickly. I can see it fine on my new phone. I find it easier to add items from my iPad, but that is because of the iPhone keyboard (which is certainly not the fault of this app). I can share my personal list with my spouse, and business todos with my business partner. We can assign tasks to one another. I add items from my iPad, then take my phone with me to the store if I am running errands. All synced and ready to complete. I also like the user rating. The more tasks you complete, the more experience your rating goes to (currently I'm a novice, but I am desperately seeking todos to increase my level :D). It does exactly what it advertises, which is help me keep track of and organize my todo lists. Great app. I would recommend it, and do.
Replaced so many other tools & Apps
by Dave Seville on 2014/11/20 04:44
After starting out as a trial customer for a short time I have been a premium customer for two years now. Your creativity is the only limitation as to what this program can do for you. This has replaced so many other apps and programs and paper methods that I was using I can't begin to list them all out. Just start using it right away on a simple basis then take some time in setting up how you want to use it and you'll be amazed what it can do. I have sections for business and personal and it's amazing how much more I get done and keep organized by using one premium app like this. I love that it is cross platformed and I can use it on my iPad, computer and iPhone and everything stays in sync. One of the best features I like is that I can have it email and or text me at certain times for tasks that I designate.
A flexible and feature-rich To Do app
by sloppyjack on 2013/09/06 00:44
I have recently come back to Todoist, after the recent updates. I love it. I left Remember the Milk. Why? There are a few things I need from a todo app: 1. Syncs with a good website 2. Simple 3. Flexible 4. Doesn't require a lot of thought to maintain Todoist ticks those requirements, with a pleasant to use experience. The website is great- it presents the most crucial information to you, adding tasks is a cinch, as is keeping as few or as many projects as you'd like. You can also add nifty colors to cue you. I have found that - even while applying GTD principles- I need to change my system occasionally to match my workload. Sometimes I have many folders to segregate tasks (and thinking) by project. Other times, I just want to keep my todos from getting forgotten. Todoist accommodates either. Easily. And, with a variety of views, the app and site allow you to keep the most important actionable info on front of you, when you need it. There is nothing over complicated here- no stars or next actions or whatnot. That means you can create you own system and it will work. And on the web you can drag and drop tasks and projects to reorder them (great) and set your own front page view (mind is P1 + next 7 days due). That could come to the app but I don't miss it.
Locks up after several updates
by To do list fanatic on 2014/07/28 09:45
I often need to reschedule tasks that I was unable to complete the previous day. As I go down the list reviewing each task and updating the due date the app will lock up. It is often making my changes but tasks don't visually move until I force the app the restart. It could be that this has been a long time issue but it is getting worse as we build up more list items. It has recently started to being unresponsive to any screen taps. It occasionally continues even after forcing the app to restart. If this continues we will need to look for a different solution. With that said it works great for keeping track of our family's very complex list of to do's. My husband, daughter, and I all use the app. One complaint with sharing projects is that it doesn't display them on the new shared user's screen the same. When it could be critical that the new invited user realize what project it is a part of.
No privacy, worthless offline
by GaryQual on 2014/04/28 02:15
As near as I can tell, all of your data is stored in the cloud on third-party serves, not even owned by the developer. The mere fact that the privacy policy is totally silent on the security of this data suggests that not only isn't it secure, so that both they and the unnamed third party can read your files, but the developer doesn't even appreciate the importance of maintaining the security of user data. Before any app can share data, it first has to create it on your own mobile device, so that you can use it. Simple, right? But if you install this app on an iPad without cellular, then get on the bus or subway to work, you're hosed. You can't even get started without logging in, and no network, no login. And what happens to your data if they go out of business? Backup to the close, and sharing with users are both great features. But for an app whose focus is personal data, if it doesn't first work reliably standalone, with no account creation required, it isn't worth trusting the developer with an e-mail address just to get started.
Great Desktop, Mobile is lacking
by neblotr on 2014/06/07 19:32
Kind of ridiculous as far as layout on the mobile app goes atm. It’s essentially a gigantic outline. No collapsing folders, nothing. As far as layout is concerned, Everyday app does a job orders better than this one, and they’re not even due to come out of beta till next week. I think the problem comes from the fact that they’re currently developing their application for 13 platforms. More or less stretched thin so to speak on development when you do that, or so it seems. Jack of all trades, master of none, as it were. Really needs some serious UI developments for the iOS platform. I’d venture to guess that a majority of the people that use this application do so from an iOS device and abhor the idea of being tethered to their laptop/desktop just because the mobile version is such an incredibly clunky P.O.S. It’s truly only good for a “mirror” of what you’ve entered elsewhere. This I say because: while you can enter tasks in this mobile version, it’s not at all fluid and certainly not enjoyable to enter subtasks for a large project of any real detail. I’m seriously hoping they fix these issues soon, because dollar for dollar, it’s actually cheaper to buy the full omnifocus suite (omnifocus 1 went for 3 years before “2”) than it is to pay for 3 years of todoist premium. They need to stop honing their app for business and start focusing on the individual, as I’m sure they make up the bulk of TD users.
Great Task Manager
by Richard Garcia on 2014/12/10 00:26
I have been searching for an app that can manage all of my tasks and projects, and this task manager gets the job done. It is the one app that can be integrated with other platforms very well such as gmail or sunrise calendar. It works great on my Mac and iPhone and all of my tasks are in my Todoist no matter what device I use. Ever wish to take an email that you would need to get back to (perhaps because of a lengthy research or response needed,) well in Gmail, there is a button that you can add to your browser which can save your emails as tasks. How about that???!!! It is truly a great task manager and would recommend it for anyone who has a lot of stuff on their plates and wants to quickly and easily jot down a to-do or reminder that they can circle back to when completed.
Love this todo app!
by ahaef on 2014/05/25 21:19
Full disclosure: I did end up subscribing to the premium service, but that's also probably the best endorsement I can give. Love the clean, simple interface for using the lists and checking things off, but still with tons of options when creating or editing a task. It can be as straightforward or complex as you want to make it. The daily email snapshot with reminders of how many things you did, how many you have to do that day, and how many points you have will either keep you hooked or annoy you; if it's the latter, they're easily turned off. Sync is super-fast (one of my complaints with other todo apps) and has never lost one of my tasks. No shared lists and no location-based due dates means this isn't my only todo app, but it's the one I use for all of my tasks!
Great For Collaborative Task Lists
by Edawg83 on 2014/07/12 02:59
I am a firm supporter as Todoist has really helped me get on track with list building. It will require an Internet connection to stay up to date, but it is meant for folks always on the go. At first, I maintained my own lists, and over time I have had to evolve and move them around. This has been very easy and quick to do, which I appreciate. I have expanded my list to incorporate my wife and colleagues at work. It has been a great resource to use collaboratively, and access to my list on my phone, desktop, or laptop have made it a huge plus. The additional features would be nice to haves, but the subscription process seems a bit steep unless more unique value is added. I think Todoist should survey their users to get a better idea of what they would pay for - just my two cents.
I've tried them all...
by Dougstump on 2014/12/12 03:57
For an early adopter of productivity apps, the one category in which I've struggled is to-do-list apps. They haven't satisfied my need for simplicity and depth, so I've remained a Franklin-Covey paper planner guy (ironic for someone who relies on his electronic devices to get everything else done). After a week of using this free version, I think I've found the right tool and plan on upgrading to the paid version to get more functionality. Right off the bat, I found the prioritization, categories and flexibility to create tasks and due dates (love how I can key in "every other day" in the browser version for repeat events) highly intuitive. And synchronization between devices is a snap--no waiting around like some other apps. I highly recommend.
Also upgrading for the reminders and notes was really worth it for me
Finally found it a great "To Do" organizer
by Rafamendes on 2015/01/03 13:43
I have been searching for an app to help me to organize my "to dos" for a long time. I used the tasks from outlook what was easy to link to emails, but very poor for all other things (project organization, search tools, etc). I liked todoist very much, it is easy to use, cloud and works perfectly on my laptop, iPhone and iPad, giving me efficiency to execute and organize my activities. I only didn't give 5 star because there is no link to outlook or Google mail yet, it would save lot of time if I could mark an email as "follow up" in todoist, also it is complicate to send files. That should create something that I could copy a file from email or or drive and paste in todoist. Other than these items, I like very much the app and are helping me a lot.
Just Right? Maybe so.
by pcborup on 2014/07/16 23:27
For a long time I have floated in between Omni Focus, Things, and a couple of other apps for task management. Each have their strengths but also sufficient weaknesses that I felt a bit like the three bears story (i.e. this one is too much...this one is too little...) Todoist may be that "just right" middle ground. It is taking some getting used to but one large plus is that it is very consistent experience across all platforms that I am trying. That includes all Apple platforms as well as Web and Windows. That in itself is a big positive as one of my complaints about other apps has been inconsistent experience. Also need to note that the sync between all devices is lightning fast! So while my rating is still a work in process my initial feedback is 4 out of 5.
Fantastic
by jaggyg3 on 2015/03/05 06:46
Update - March 2015: loads of elegant new features and quiet improvements.
Mostly Excellent
by Type1Runner on 2014/10/01 18:30
I really like this app a lot! It provides lots of ways to organize a group tasks. Prioritization is a possibility. Setting due dates is great. Just takes a little bit of time to figure out how to set your dates, especially recurring ones. My one really big complaint is that I paid for the premium version so that I could get push reminders on my phone, and that part of the app is not working. I'm frustrated about that part. If that gets changed and fixed I can change this review. But for now, I'm changing the app I use for task management. I need to push notifications, or I will miss important tasks. I will mention that I contacted the developers for technical support, and they are aware of and are working on the issue. As of today, it still wasn't fixed. So they issued me a refund. I really appreciate that.
Excellent cross platform app
by Dana Piwinski on 2014/12/24 15:17
I've been using for about a year and half. A very solid todo list manager that works equally well on my windows PC Chrome or IE browser, and on my iOS 8 devices. I have many small projects to manage concurrently, with some larger ones going at the same time. This app helps me organize all my projects with project folders and subtasks. It's easy to go through and prioritize tasks daily. I also use the Inbox to just quickly throw in a task that I later file under the appropriate project, and my iPhone lets me do that by just speaking and having that converted into the text for the task. Nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the calendar integration, which is being improved. I would like to be able to assign a date range to a task (and subtasks), and have that show up graphically on a calendar. If it could do that, I wouldn't need other tools to do a project work breakdown structure. I paid for the premium version, both for the additional features, but especially to encourage this company to keep working on what I believe is a solid product with even more potential. If you like it, you might do the same.
Well implemented task manager
by Brianthreedee on 2015/01/25 14:44
Being new to the use of task management, I have tried several different apps. My requirements are based on my work force needs, multi platform support, ease of work flow integration, which also means ease of use, and collaboration tools. I've found that most of my needs have been met, but I'm not won over by the outlook integration. My complaint stems from two issues, I am unable to have the calendar sit either below, or atop the plug in, but only to the side. This takes up precious real estate. The second, is that I have to run the plugin, instead of using outlooks task feature. Admittedly my issues might be my own limited understanding and if so I'll gladly change my rating to five stars, but till proven otherwise I'll leave it at four stars.
A sufferer of ADD lands the perfect app...⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
by Lakahata on 2014/12/08 08:20
...at least that's what the title of my review should be! I've searched high and low for a To-Do app that works with how I work. I've bought, what feels like, every single app you can imagine to help organize my life. From the free ones to the paid ones, all of them grabbed my attention for a few days but we're either too simple, too difficult or just didn't have the necessary components for my lifestyle. Todoist gives me the cross-browser, web-based, app platform I need to keep me from losing my job. 😉😉 That's why I went ahead and upgraded to premium which was never my intent when I bought the app. Thank you Todoist for an incredible tool as well as a great blog!
Very good tool. Works great.
by Paper solutions on 2013/08/10 18:45
I moved to this app from wonderlist which was really bad. So far I am very impressed. Love the time date stamp that is automatically input when you save the note. Wish it would open the attached emails on the phone app. That only works on the computer with outlook. Everything has been very good on this. Also on my iPad now. Really great. The latest update also corrected several thing. Mostly the way you view notes and the calendar option is so much better to move your to dos to the dates you want. Great app only getting better. One more item needed is to highlight the importance level color a little more. You can hardly see it. Thanks.
Simplicity conquers the world
by justDelmar on 2014/12/27 14:23
Todoist is a simple and easy to use task management app that really helps me conquer the world around me. I've tried just about all of the popular task management apps out there and I've stuck with this app the longest. It's intuitive, simple and functional without being overbearing. The app is flexible enough to let you manage your task the way you want and not by a particular process. However, it does support GTD for those that follow that methodology. I also love the integration with other apps and services especially the CloudMagic email app. Right now this is my goto task management app until another comes along to unseat the king. Now go out and be productive!
Finally found a system that works for me
by Furblong on 2013/08/12 15:46
Love this app, I made a project for my appointments so it replaces my calendar too. I now have all my info in one simple, searchable place. I like the addition of the Inbox for quick notes, then I go back after the meeting and assign times, projects and priorities. I don't know if it is new, but I also like seeing all my completed work under the Karma tab. I use this online with Chrome for Mac and PC and on an iPhone. I haven't had any of the sync problems other reviewers are writing about. Sometimes something seems missing but I search completed tasks and it is there, I had unintentionally checked the project.
Best todo service!
by Rjzmml on 2014/02/09 16:27
After trying many task lists, Todoist is my favorite by far. It is both minimalist so that you don't get to mired in organizing tasks, and flexible so that you can group tasks within other tasks, and now projects within projects if you choose. New features have been appearing, though I hope it also becomes possible to turn more of them off. "Karma" was introduced about a year ago, but I found it incredibly distracting until we were allowed to optionally turn it off a few months later. I hope the same happens with things like screen real estate being dedicated to congratulating me on having nothing due today!
Terrific little system
by Arthurbb on 2014/10/12 14:10
Works quite well for me; coordinating many little projects with 3-5 people and 5-10 tasks within each. What I like: - sharing with others in a project basis - ability to include documents and notes in a comment section under tasks. - syncing across every computing platform allows me to include anyone--no matter what platform they have. - ease at moving tasks from one project to another - interface to move deadlines from one date to another. -easy learning curve and UI layout of features works pretty logically and intuitively. Others willing to use it per my request. -very good syncing across platforms and subscription to ICal works well (task deleted takes item off calendar-okay for me) Dislike: Syntax for setting up repetitive and recurring tasks is way too complex, cryptic and unclear. Need better manual for this or improved implementation. Too many entry errors when using this UI for iOS8 is too different from OSX Mac version so that there is a learning curve (not too steep) for each and increases entry errors.
Poor UI design
by Value_Arb on 2014/10/29 17:08
Not as bad as Mac App, which is horrible/confusing & borderline unusable, the ioS version focuses on pretty over usable. Always multiple steps for adding anything, always confusing about how to do things or whether they are active or not. When you create a task you can't add notes unless you save it, return to your list, find it, and then open it in notes editing "mode". super confusing whether you've created recurring tasks or not. Accidently drag left? you just competed a task, watch carefully for tiny notification where you aren't looking, bottom of screen, to give you fleeting chance to undo. Developers don't understand how iOS apps should work, when to use gestures and how to use them, when to ask for confirmation, when to make it a 2 step process so important changes are clear to user before they allow them to commit, etc

Extremely Helpful & Great for Collaboration
by cr8907 on 2014/10/04 20:00
I'm the type of person who needs to be organized or my life gets hectic and I get anxious. This app helps me stay on track at work and at home. My boyfriend and I collaborate on our Errands project list and I love the "assigning tasks" feature so we can remind each other to do things and let each other know when we do something. It's really great for prioritizing tasks at work. The morning updates for what is on my to-do list for the day is great to keep me going. And I love that it syncs with google cal and that I can use the website or chrome app while at work. Download now! Free features are worth it!
Repeated reminders?
by Albert Song on 2014/10/22 15:35
I am a new user to this app. Am getting accustomed to it and like the simple look and limitless tags and projects you can add. The option of receiving multiple reminders for a task is also quite helpful as I often do not get to it the first time around. Sometimes I have tasks that need to get done each day, week, or month. It would be nice to be also have repeated reminders available as well. Also some of the options seem a bit too complicated, like the priority levels and sub-projects, etc. But perhaps that is just my own preference to keep things simpler. Overall, I am pleased with the app and find it worth the investment for my daily organizing needs.
Pros & cons
by hasnain22 on 2014/06/14 12:57
Pros: it's a great to-do & task app. Simple, pretty intuitive and boldly minimal. it does what it says it does. Cons: please understand that this is NOT an app to manage your projects - unless you have very few or simple ones. It's too limited for that. For example, it doesn't have categories (work, personal, home, side business...) to group several projects based on context. It also doesn't allow you to focus on tasks that are due today, by the project. Instead, you see all tasks that are due today (personal mixed with work mixed with home mixed with side business). This is frustrating, and at times infuriating, when you have a lot of things to work on across several projects for work. That's just a couple examples that this is not a project mgt app. I bought this app instead of Omnifocus because of Omnifocus' larger price. Now I regret it. And bear in mind, you have to keep paying yearly for Todoist to use simple features like sync. So to sum it up, this is a great task app for simple groups of lists, not an app to stay on top of several projects across the different parts of your life.
Clean and functional
by StoryDelver on 2013/06/22 18:33
The interface is pure Apple in its simplicity. Complexity is there, but hidden. Superb. Too many task manager tools try to do too much and clutter thief interface into I usability. Todoist has avoided this trap so far. Please create on iPad! The iPhone version simply does not utilize the screen real estate if the iPad optimally. In terms of functionality, the main weakness is task entry workflow. I suggest taking a page from brainstorming apps. In Todoist entering a new task takes two touches each. I come from the world of mind-map apps where it only takes a single touch to enter a new item. Hitting done sets you up to enter the next one. Only the first item takes two touches. When entering task/listitems your brain is much faster than your fingers. Remembering all the things you need to do or get is essentially a brainstorming exercise. Things come fast. Two touches per item becomes a pain right away. I did a test and found that creating a list of things todo in Mindmapper is three times as fast. That said, I use Todoist for its other features that mind-maps don't have.
Oh what todo, what todo
by NateHolder on 2014/09/12 11:47
I have downloaded at least 10 "to-do" list apps and nothing comes close to Todoist. I needed somewhere between a project manager and a To-do list, but I didn't need something that was made for three people to manage and have a team of engineers to set up. With its ability to be on anything I am on, even gmail, it gives me a way to get stuff done. Along with its ability to group things into projects the different spheres of my life are handled. Plus it encourages you daily, if you set it up, by giving you points so you even feel more productive when you are being productive. Love Todoist thanks developers! -Nate
Locking up as I reschedule!
by coolcatteacher on 2014/09/05 09:53
I agree totally with the review posted by list fanatic. I love this app because it integrates with Toggl and Gmail beautifully and is awesome on my PC-- but the iPhone app is buggy! I look at the list to reschedule and review and after three or so moves to another day--- bam-- I am locked up and have to restart. Sometimes it even loses what I have done. The iPhone app needs help ASAP- this is a huge problem! I have looked and looked and finally found the tool that meets every need but I also need the iPhone app to work. Please have your developers fix this! Today all of the words of my lists disappeared. About to restart and will likely be back but really- doesn't this show up in your own testing. I have screenshots - please fix!
Ubiquitous Task Management that's easy to use
by Galahadz on 2014/07/21 13:03
I had been searching for a task app prior to starting a new job in a new industry and my research led me to Todoist. I began using it and quickly jumped to the paid version, having a need for email and calendar integration. What I like about it the most is the ease of capture...there is very little fuss involved in adding a task. I never fully got GTD until I had used this for a few weeks. I was capturing everything that needed my attention and forgetting about it until I was notified. My stress level plunged and my productivity rose. Did I mention it's everywhere? iPhone, iPad, browser, and PC and Mac. Get it.
Best To Do List On The Market
by Roadrunner2013 on 2014/12/27 03:28
I have tried for years to find a program that would sync with my Mac and my iPhone that was easy to use and time efficient. Many other apps I tried using required too much time, too much data entry, and I was spending more time updating the data entry than I was actually doing what was on the list. This app is fast, easy to do, and it updates in real time via the cloud. It also can be synced so that your to do list is visible in the Mac calendar. I absolutely love this app. I highly recommend it. It's because of this app that I have finally committed to using a digital calendar.
Best
by drbenmd on 2014/04/11 15:48
I will just reiterate everyone else on here. While Im not a fan of the subscription price tag for a to do app, it synchronizes so well with Apple products and the tech world we live in. The sms text reminders was key for me, as I text people all the time so I always get my texts whereas I dont always see the push notifications. Also it has the easiest and quickest method for adding tasks. Adding tasks on my mac is just a breeze. Lastly I like being able to add tasks to diff projects easily, but still see them on a seven day schedule. This is a feature the Apple Reminders app glaringly lacks. Overall worth the price for me.
Great app
by eazyrooster on 2014/10/24 07:27
Fantastic to do/productivity app. It's very flexible for simple or even complicated GTD systems. It isn't the best. But it is close to Things or Omnifocus and adds the ability to be used on any platform. Mac, Windows, iOS, Linux, Chrome... Anything goes. That moves it to the top. The latest "bug fix" update is still pretty buggy. Lots of crashes. Widget doesn't really work like other widgets. You can't check things off from it like you can with other todo/task widgets. It freezes up often if you try to open the app from the widget. Swiping in the app has gotten very stiff. It's not a fluid motion anymore. Basically, they don't seem to be able to get it right for iOS 8.
A great app with room for improvement
by Johnolphnt on 2014/12/13 15:02
Todoist is perhaps the best task management app I have tried. It really excels in its flexibility across platforms because it's available for everything. Its web-app is great. I love that I can add tasks from my Windows laptop, iPhone, and iPad. I'm a premium use, so I think that makes syncing better It also handles repeating tasks well. It needs more options for end dates to repeating tasks. I haven't seen details for doing that in its documentation. It's biggest weakness is its poor implementation of sub tasks. They appear twice in your list of tasks. It's now clear which task they are appended to sometimes. I much prefer Wunderlist's system for sub tasks.
This is it! The BEST, SIMPLE yet VERSATILE
by Kinj84 on 2014/12/05 06:15
I spent money on several apps and softwares including omnifocus...and after spending so much time trying out the rest---this is THE best out there! I use it on my iPhone, MAC and my work Windows PC. It's super simple to use yet powerful... from reminders of your appointments to karma to keep you motivated! Paying for premium is super worth it. I manage my home/car's todos, family commitment, work todos and self health goals with it! Get things done, collaborate and reach your goals --- super productive! And on a side note, I am obsessed with getting things done and being organized- so if I love this app, so will you!
Love the Todoist app!
by jul22 on 2013/02/02 22:49
This app is awesome — easy to use and elegant! Todoist is my favorite task management system on the computer. Glad I upgraded to Premium a while back. My one hope is that they'll integrate sound alerts for push notifications soon — fortunately, the support staff are very responsive and told me they're currently working on it. Mobile push notifications work, but in the meantime I've decided to use email or SMS alerts and I have my iPhone set to do push notifications and sound alerts for those. That's working great for me so far. Wonderful that Todoist is so flexible in terms of reminders. Thanks Todoist team!
Simple and powerful
by Richard Radcliffe on 2013/12/19 18:38
I've used many apps for this purpose and todoist beats them all by a long shot. It is very sinple to use, it works across basically all platforms (very important for me), the ability to email new projects/tasks from anywhere is simple, the ability to add an email as a task to deal with later is simple and very useful, and, finally, $29/year is trivial. C'mon, that comes out to about $2.50/month. Trivial. My only complaint at this point is that I can't get the app to work on an older XP machine. No matter though. The website version is fully functional and looks and behaves just like the app.
Just what I wanted
by Missing deposits on 2014/01/17 01:33
I wanted a simple to do list that I could check off items on as I completed them. I didn't need it to sync with anything (though this will sync with the iPad's calendar.) I wanted it to do more than a single list (by days) and I wanted it to be easy to use, without requiring me to register somewhere. And I wanted it not to crash like Reminders does when I try to use it. Todoit fits all those things. My only complaint is that adding an item is not quite as simple as starting to type- you have to click on a + first. Other than that, it's very intuitive and easy.
Excellent To-do App
by Pelean on 2014/04/11 17:29
This is the app I've been waiting for to easily organize my tasks without being overly complicated. The Gmail integration is perfect to make emails into tasks I can see on the go. The iOS app admittedly has less functions without the Premium account, but is still useful. I rarely upgrade to Premium/ Paid subscriptions, but I purchased one for Todoist. It was totally worth the cost for the extra functions. Update: I love the added functions to the mobile app. It makes creating, finding, and making reminders of tasks much easier. Definitely an app I rely on every day.

Works
by Hod Hasharon on 2015/03/28 04:23
I've tried many todo apps.

Liking it so far.
Terrific To-Do App

interface and productivity = perfect

Great app

Best Multi Platform Task Manager

Great app! Worth the premium yearly charge!

by areyn258 on 2015/03/17 17:01
I have an insane schedule between my college classes, my sorority, my 3 jobs, and my other extracurriculars.

Admittedly I may be unaware but the key feature I am missing is the ability to sync with a calendar.
Great time and sleep saver

I have been using this app for roughly a month and really like it. I've used pen and paper; excel; and outlook/tasks - and this beats them all hands down. Love how it sits on top of outlook and let's me move mail into the lists...

Fantastic!!

by Ron-R1 on 2015/03/07 21:15

Nice, but flawed
by HolyDuck on 2015/03/07 20:56
I really like the clean design and the fact that the service is very cross platform, and the is a nice implementation of GTD. But many shortcuts work inconsistently and the handling of projects, tasks and especially subtasks is decidedly baffling...

Excellent

Great Task Manager
by Lynchrx on 2015/03/04 19:46
This is a great task management app. Powerful feature of being able to define labels and filters. 4 stars because the label view is poorly conceived. Sorts by number of tasks for that label, and no other sorting option is available.

Multiple Platforms and Outlook integration Are the Differentiators For Me
by redbug61 on 2015/03/04 11:40

I am a bit of a productivity junkie - I love to do apps! But I needed one that fit my workflow best. After doing lots of research, Todoist came out on top. That was over a year ago, and I haven't looked back. It's simple to use and free. No bells or whistles. Love the filtering of tasks by due date, that it's cross platform, and the stats tracking. I use the Mac app frequently. Clean UI.

Also upgrading for the reminders and notes was really worth it for me
Finally found it a great "To Do" organizer
by Rafamendes on 2015/01/03 13:43
I have been searching for an app to help me to organize my "to dos" for a long time.
Thanks.
