The last time I rented a car a month ago, the car I booked wasn’t what they gave Me when I got there even after I showed them the class of car I rented. I showed them the order. They said they don’t know why they list that SUV, they never have it. I said then that really doesn’t help Me right now. This isn’t the first time and not the same company. If I weren’t being emergently deployed, I’d never use this again ….

There is no way to describe this idiotism! Two times booked a car in two days and they just keep canceling me and sending me sorry emails how they’re busy or don’t have that car. Dear sir/madam/team behind this horrible idea - if you don’t have anything available why are you letting me select and book??? Just show no availability and let’s call it a day. You keep taking giving me hope I can rent a car and pulling me by the nose and wasting my vacation. I repeat: worst rental car app ever. If someone is reading this: do yourself a favor and skip this service/app as they’re clueless and have nothing to offer. Thank you and never see you again

Stay away, The rental company try to charge me more money above the money I paid on Rentalcars so I decided to not take the car. I contact the Rentalcars to get a refund and I told them about what the rental company tried to do, but they told me they won’t refund me. Please stay away!

I returned my car 2 days early but because I used Rentalcars.com and not Thrifty Rental they would not give me back credit. I Also had to pay the full city taxes which in Baltimore is about 50% of rental rate. Cost me about 80 bucks total.

We rented a car from RentalCars while in Iceland and purchased insurance for said car through RentalCars for the duration of our trip. When we picked up the car from EuroCars, it was heavily snowing and windy making it difficult to see, as well as there being about 4 inches of snow accumulation on the ground and car. These factors made it difficult to properly assess the car but EuroCars assured us there would be no issue. We were EXTREMELY careful while driving the car and parking the car in any locations. We did not hit, bump or damage the car in any way. Upon returning the car to EuroCars, they stated there was a very small, approximately 1 inch scuff mark on the front bumper. This was very minor and I know that we did not put that scuff mark there however it was not noted during the original assessment of the car due to the tumultuous weather. That scuff could have been easily overlooked due to the blizzard that was occurring during that time. EuroCars stated we needed to pay $600 for that 1 inch scuff mark because it was considered damage. We purchased insurance through RentalCars as I mentioned. So we immediately called them once we were being charged a large amount of money for damage we did not cause. The representative at RentalCars stated we needed to pay the $600 but once we submitted the claim to RentalCars, we would be fully reimbursed. With that said, we trusted RentalCars, paid the $600 and left. Upon returning home and submitting the claim, RentalCars has now stated they will not reimburse us anything. They stated we need to go through EuroCars (the company who we physically rented the car from, even though everything was set up via RentalCars, rental and insurance). We were lied to and misled by RentalCars who gave us false information. We purchased insurance through RentalCars to cover things like this. We did not cause any damage but are being blamed for it anyway. And this is what the insurance should be covering. RentalCars has not been helpful, they are merely pushing the blame to an outside company. RentalCars was misleading and blatantly lied to us to get their money. I do not recommend RentalCars to anyone and suggest everyone beware of this money hungry company. Book through someone else.

Used this app 3 times this year to rent cars during my travels. 1st time everything went well. 2nd time there wasn’t a car waiting for me at the airport. I received email from Rentalcars while I was in flight that there was no reservation. 3rd time I rented a car for 4 weeks but returned it after 2 weeks of rental because of changes in my traveling plans. I was told bu Hertz that they can’t return my money for two weeks bacause reservation was through Rentalcars and that I need to contact them for refund. When i contacted Rentalcars they just told me that it is in their Terms & Conditions that they do not give refunds for unused days. If i rented a car directly from Hertz I would get a refund. I will never use this app again.

Once I got here the story changed. I can’t use my debit card because my credit score is less than 600. None of this was ever discussed before they stole my money and then refused to rent me a car then said they are keeping 3 days worth of my rental fee. Its been 9 hours of phone, text, face to face and they still refuse to refund my money in which I paid in advance and I still have no car. I will NEVER use Rentalcars.com again in life!!!

I need to push back my pick up time and for the life of me can’t get it to successfully change. The app and website keep telling me an error occurred and I’ve tried calling the number and had to hang up because they couldn’t hear me.

Reserved a Mercedes Benz A-class. Which is a compact luxury sedan. “Or similar”. What do you understand by “similar?”. Sure, a BMW 3-series would be ok. An Audi A4. I’d take a say, Acura too. I get to the rental counter.. what do I get? A Renaulr Kadjar, which is: - Not a sedan, it’s an SUV - Not compact, it’s big - Not luxury, rather low-end So there; you book something… they’ll give you whatever it is they want. They don’t care. It’s false advertising at best. It’s outright fraud at worst.

Great app and easy to use. However when I am about to finish, it tells me the payment doesnt work and wants me to call the rental to fix, So i start again and same happens, only to find out I now have double booked, so now I have booked and paid fot two cars amd need to cancel one, which is ok but takes too many days to get a refund.

You may not realize it, but Hertz has gone out of business! When I arrived at the Appleton Airport last week, the Hertz counter was demolished. None of the other vendors had cars available. Neither you nor Hertz advised me of this situation. Needless to say, I won’t be using your services in the future! Dales

Both the Rentalcar.com and the Budget Rental car phone numbers are invalid.the only valid phone number on this reservation is mine. It says you can make changes to your reservation. I just tried to shift pick up and drop off times from both being 15:00 to both being 20:00 same days as reservation and the price goes up €100??? Long time ago I swore I’d never use Rentalcars.com again, now I remember why!

Could not get ahold of anybody on the day before my vacation. Left on hold for an hour waiting for service, emailed with no reply. Avis would not honor my deal. 4 kids disappointed. My vacation is ruined thanks a lot. Would give 0 stars if I could. Now I’m out 650.00 thanks a lot!

1. the search for cars to rent in the App and Website give different results, 2. the App should have detailed addresses and maps (or link to googles maps) for all locations, my last experience required a walk on a roadway to an unmarked rental office. 3. the App shows inconsistent and incorrect currency conversions…and they were different when going to the website.

I had all kinds of issues with making my initial payment. Between Rentalcars telling me my payment was unsuccessful, but that the booking had been Confirmed, and Capital One indicating the payment had been processed; I was, and am not sure, I have a reservation at all.

I rented a car through the app, to my amazement not only did I not get my vehicle, but I was being charged a cancellation fee (red the fine print) of 3 days worth. No vehicle, cancellation fee on excess of $300 dollars....No help, rip off and headache. To be fair Dollar had no vehicles and had me call to cancel the reservation...Neverrr Againnnn!!!

Rentalcars advertise unlimited miles, but it’s not true. I just pick up a vehicle from Europcar in Santa Cruz Bolivia, and they honor the unlimited miles. I showed my contract to Europcar, and they don’t do that, that I have to contact Rentalcars so they can fix it. Can someone at Rentalcars contact me.

I can’t get the app to work! It says that I need to connect to a network, but I’m on WiFi that works for other things. It doesn’t work on LTE either, again when everything else does. Disappointed.

Delta changed my flight and arrival time. The app wouldn’t let me change it (useless), and when I called customer service, they doubled my price to move the time 5 hours which wasn’t even my fault. Cancelled!

Downloaded this app. Tried to use it for a while and everytime I tried to search rentals this red bar popped up saying “make sure return is at least 1 hour away” I had no idea what this meant. Did not show me how to use it. I tried doing multiple different adjustments. Got frustrated and deleted the app. Much rather use google search to find rentals nearby rather then trying to figure out this absurdly complicated app.

I used this app for several bookings with success. Then came the time I rented with one of the recommended companies, Fox Rental Cars, and it was a bad experience, especially regarding an early drop off. Fox could not be contacted, so I reached out to Rental Car, and they also had no way to contact Fox or assist with one of their curated choices. I see no reason to work with an agent that curates and takes a percentage from their recommendations but then can’t apply some help or pressure when one of their customers needs assistance.

Customer service is nearly non-existent. The car I booked wasn’t even available when I went to pick it up. I called them and was on hold for an hour. I was eventually told to get a more expensive car, which was available, and the difference would be refunded to my account. It’s been four months without any word from them and no refund. I would have had better luck not booking through these people and going straight to the rental companies. Don’t use this app.

I prepaid my car rental online, but at Hertz no one received the money. I paid the full amount at Hertz as well. At Rentalcars, they refused to give any refund, and moreover they will merely ignore you and your problem. Do not ever trust this company!

This company completely STOLE every penny of my money and left me stranded at an airport with no car and a family. Luckily, I was able to find a non scam company-BUT AVOID AT ALL COSTS. 100% SCAM. They are literally thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I tried to call, I was hung up on multiple times and then they wouldn’t answer the phone until it was hours AFTER my reservation time so they could say “ oh, the reservation must be canceled in advance” SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

Hello I wanted to write a word of warning about Rentalcars.com. I booked a car with them in Luxembourg. On the reservation I stated that I'd arrive at 7pm and I added my flight number. My flight actually arrived at 9.30pm so I was a bit later than what I'd stated. On arrival at the rental company counter - InterRent in this case - I found that it was already closed. Apparently they close at 8pm. For all the other customers, they leave a key with the parking garage attendants and it works just fine. But there was no key for me. Apparently they either thought I was a no show (even though they had my flight number and arrival time) or they did not have enough information about me when they closed (e.g. they didn't have a copy of my voucher from Rentalcars.com). When I explained all this very politely to both InterRent and to Rentalcars.com, each one pointed at the other and told me that because of the mismatch between my stated arrival time and the flight number, it was my fault. No refund. No apology. Nothing. Needless to say I think it's frankly a bit ridiculous to take my money when I haven't even seen let alone driven the rental car and given that they had all the information required to leave me a key. But if they want to lose a customer for life so be it ...

Used this app 1 time before and no one could touch their rate. They offer a free, no hassle cancellation policy. A must during Covid. Couldn’t get that with Priceline. Will use this app even after Covid it was so easy .

The vehicle was not Available at the location after confirming multiple times. Upon arrival, the rental company asked for payment, I asserted payment was already made to Rentalcars.com. His response was that he did not see it and pointed towards another car rental company. I was not able to cancel the rental car via app due to cancellation charges for 75% of the amount and I was not able to get ahold of anyone to provide genuine assistance. All I got was deferrememts and the run around. So I was out of a car, money that was pulled in advance and no pipeline to recover funds. I am currently working with the BBB and US Navy attorneys to reimburse funds. Heed my words: stay away from such unethical companies! Thank You

I do not recommend. Never pay in advance and if you do make sure to put in the exact hour you will arrive. I booked an automatic car in advance and didn’t know what time i would arrive so I just filled in the flight number so I put that in the booking so that the rental company could see what time I would arrive to have the car ready for me, and left the default arrival information of 12pm on the form and paid in advance. The booking was for dollar car rentals. Well my flight arrived at 6pm and they didn’t have my car reserved for me and said that they never had any automatic cars for the model I reserved only manual. I don’t know how to drive manual and to upgrade to a higher tier automatic car I would have to pay almost twice as much. So they said I could pay the higher price or ask for a refund from the reservation site which is Rentalcars. I didn’t want to pay twice as much for a rental so I just went on my way without a rental car. Well I sent in my request for a refund and of course was denied because the booking was the default 12pm and I arrived at 6pm. And in this case they had no obligation to give me a car or a refund for arriving ‘late.’ Why do you even give the option to fill in the flight number if you don’t bother to see when it will arrive? And why would you charge someone for services never used? I can understand charging a fee for processing and costumer service but 0% refund is extremely harsh. Definitely never using Rentalcars again.

My flight got switch due to mechanical problems so I wasn’t able to pick up my rental car to drive it to my family emergency. I simply asked if I could move the reservation to the new airport and they said they can’t and I will STILL be charged for the car that I never picked up. They said no refund will be administered either. I had a family emergency during a A PANDEMIC to where I flew to the whole other side of the county and they weren’t willing to work with me.

Asks for reference number. When you don’t know what it is, they offer to retrieve an email it to you. 1.) if it’s been retrieved why email it to me? 2.) they don’t really email it to you. So you go back and forth trying to find it. Spam? Updates? Primary? Nope none of them. It never comes. So what’s the point? Do you want me to rent a car from your service or not? Apparently not.

FIRST Read their RENTAL terms - upon booking or prepaying they DO NOT GUARENTEE. A rental car to be available. In such case you have to call their customer support from your car rental desk, which is in the U.K. If they cannot get you a car then you have to cancel the booking. BTW minimum cancellation fee is 3 days of car rental. So pretty much you lose all your booking fee. WHAT A SCAM. 3 or less days of rental you can pretty much forget about your money. These guys need to be CLASS ACTION SUED THEIR A** off. They do business in the US and violating ALL consumer laws. Especially in CA state all laws are violated. Shocked that they even got backing from booking.com. I had cancelled my car for Disney during the Virus as Disney has closed in L.A. They Said NO REFUNDS AND ITS AN INTERNAL U.S MATTER and cannot be resolved by a U.K company. Don't fall for the sweet European accent by their agents.

预订时候搜索车辆,会告诉你没有其他额外费用,我租了一辆经济型小车两天,在线支付了不到70欧元,本来觉得价格还可以,结果在取车时被赫兹强行要求还要支付72欧元的location fee,我说租车平台说过没有其他费用,赫兹说不管,这家租车平台不包含location fee,他们遇过好几次了,让我跟平台联系。万般无奈为了不影响行程,只能先提了车,当天开始一直跟平台联系,开始有回复说会帮申请退款,然后就再也无人理会了。垃圾骗子平台,穷疯了,72欧给你们买药吃。 看到很多人有同样的遭遇,大家应该联系起来一起起诉这家公司,或者向他们归属国的主管部门投诉。这个垃圾APP也应该向APP store投诉下架

After getting the best price for a car, I decide to give this app a try. WRONG IDEA, after paying, they send you and email with thinks you should know before you pick up the car, $2000. DOLLARS RENTAL DEPOSIT. So after calling them about it they were willing to give me the money back but of course with a cancelation fee. I don’t recommend this app, it’s a scam.

When I arrived with my family after a 17 hour trip, the rental car company did not accept my valid US driver’s license saying that I needed an international license because these were the terms of my rental. I had read the terms multiple times and the only thing on them was that I needed a valid drivers license and a cc. I still have all emails and terms. After calling Rentalcars.com on the spot, the company’s agent said that it was a system’s mistake and that I should cancel this reservation and make a new one at the same rate. Well, no car company would accept this for a new, last minute rental and so I got a rate double what I had booked. Having an infant with me I thought that rentalcars.com would honor what they told me about the original rate. Well on the contrary... Rentalcars.com could not handle my multiple emails and calls because they wrote to me that I needed to exhaust the original resevation’s dates before I could file a complaint!! Yes. You are reading it right!! It seems unbelievable but I have it in an email. To make a long story short, a month later they still haven’t responded on my request for a refund for the additional rate I paid in order to get the car I had originally booked. I am NEVER going to use them again and I will make sure that nobody in my company does.

This was my first time with this app and it was horrible. I have booked cars with Many other travel apps and never been denied the rental due to an Artificial time window. With varying travel times one expects that there would be delays on pick ups but not these folks. When delayed in my pick up time they pointed to a note at the bottom of the terms and conditions that states if you aren’t there at the reserved time then it is deemed a “no show” and the voucher won’t be honored. I have NEVER had that experience with any other app or rental company and I did “show” on the date in question albeit not at the exact time. They offered to charge my again for the same rental I already paid for! Gee- thanks/no thanks. Go with the names you can trust. This is a sham. I will never use again. Deleting this app.

The price they tell you is not the price you pay. Once you get to the rental company they start asking for separate charges. Secondary driver, drop off at a separate location which is something obviously specified during reservation, drop location surcharge. Will never use again.

I reserved a car but when I arrived at the agency to pick it up they did not have any cars. I had to rent a car elsewhere on a walk-in basis. Rentalcars.com said they would consider reimbursing the difference, but then refused to accept the documentation from the other agency. Rentalcars.com reservations are treated like dirt and their customer service is a run-around. Better to book direct from yellowpages or Google Maps search.

I’ve been going round in circles trying to find how change or cancel my booking and I still haven’t found! I guess I’m just gonna have to book it with the wrong pick up/drop off times! Ridiculous. Besides, when I sign in the app they send you an email for you to confirm your email. And that doesn’t work either! Terrible. I guess the price makes up for all this trouble

Awful customer service. I reserved the car on line. I was charged twice. Can’t get anyone to resolve the issue. When I picked up the rental car, the charge was less than what I was billed. Rentals.com added fees to the cost of the car but did not disclose those fees when reserving the car. A very bad experience. I do not recommend them. Since No one has reached out to me, I am disputing it with my credit card company.

If you’re in the help chat and operator asks you to double-check booking or do search or anything out of chat window, the chat window is closed, you’re transferred to next operator and start explaining from the beginning and so on in the loop. But, it helps them say ‘time is over’ which happened to me. It basically is a useless piece if software that inside acts like a browser window. I had to run them both side by side to avoid being kicked out of chat, so I’ve seen that. Avoid at all costs!

I rarely write reviews. I hardly ever return anything to a store. I just learn lessons and move along. However, every so often a company will deserve solid praise - or another company will warrant a warning to those approaching them after me. Please take heed from my experience, as well as others who have written here before me. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR VACATION MONEY. I paid for 3 weeks rental for my trip to Sweden many months ahead of time. When I got to the Hertz counter, I ended up spending nearly an hour there. And I was the only one there! Short version: they had only a record of my paying for half of the total owed, when I prepaid 100% months ahead of time. Back and forth between the guy at the counter and his superiors in another location - with the guy reading to his superior from my iPhone conformation page. Final verdict: I owed an additional $275 dollars. Half of this was a change to leave the car in a different location from pickup. I already paid this additional fee when booking. Coming here after the fact I see my experience is not an isolated incident. I WILL BE GOING FAR OUT OF MY WAY TO WARN AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SNAFU COMPANY!!!

After placing my first ever “booking” with this company through this app today, i called the rental car office to confirm rental and find out about hours. i was told they had no cars in stock this afternoon, depsite the app advertising several cars available for today’s date. i am glad that i did not drive all the way there (rental office) before finding this out. I thought it may be the fault of Avis/Budget and their inventory not being updated, but after seeing another possible rental available at an Enterprise location, i called their location to confirm availability; i received the same response “sorry, no we do not have any cars in stock today, but we have a pickup truck!” There were again multiple different classes of cars advertised on this app as being available for pickup this afternoon at a specific time. i sincerely hope that this app is not a means of obtaining personal information of individuals under false pretenses and having that informarion used for any orher purpose. Can anyone refer me to whether the company is authorized to sell the personal info submitted into its app/website to third parties? I certainly hope this is not the case, as i do no recall accepting any such agreement when placing a “reservation”. Wonder how their app store score is so high?

Used this app 3 times this year to rent cars during my travels. 1st time everything went well. 2nd time there wasn’t a car waiting for me at the airport. I received email from Rentalcars while I was in flight that there was no reservation. 3rd time I rented a car for 4 weeks but returned it after 2 weeks of rental because of changes in my traveling plans. I was told bu Hertz that they can’t return my money for two weeks bacause reservation was through Rentalcars and that I need to contact them for refund. When i contacted Rentalcars they just told me that it is in their Terms & Conditions that they do not give refunds for unused days. If i rented a car directly from Hertz I would get a refund. I will never use this app again.
Cannot view voucher without network support

The app is fine in general but, importantly, it did not allow me to view the rental voucher without a network connection (I was sure to access the voucher in the app before I left home). I was traveling internationally and did not have a mobile data plan at my destination, so the rental agent had to search for the reservation through their system. In the end there was no reason to download the app as it failed to accomplish the one thing I installed it for. It would be even better would be if we could add the voucher to Apple Wallet and not use the Rentalcars app for redemption at all.

Returned car returned Sept 1 Ank Am airport stepped away from car two men drove off with our $700 binoculars on the passenger floor side of the car. We stepped inside the airport entrance and remembered them and went right back to these men they said sorry they didn’t see them That’s employee stealing that’s a huge customer service problem I have filed a theft report with the customer service online as after going straight to the front desk to address this issue with a manager they were not helpful or we couldn’t connect immediately by phone to any other representative operator or other for the rest of that several hour time span . Never use Avis can’t trust their employees !!!!!!

Booked online and once we were trying to pick up our car downloaded the app which had no recollection of our account. We then went to try to get to the car rental which said they dispatched a shuttle for us but took the better part of an hour to show up and once we finally got to the office stood in line for the better part of an hour and a literally Did not move a foot. We finally had to cancel over the phone while still in line, Uber back to the airport and pay over twice as much at another car rental place. I’ve been had to contest the booking fee through my credit card. Will never use this again holy crap

I booked a car rental through this app and the entire process was easy and as advertised. I was weary after reading the comments, but I took a risk anyway. I was able to find a low cost rental from a company open on Sunday in Europe (rare). I booked then immediately called the corporate line and they already had my reservation in the queue and confirmed they were open on Sunday. Overall, great experience.

I am a resident of the United States, and after securing my rental car in another US city for a 10-day vacation, I was attempting to amend company through which I would rent. The App would not allow me, instructing me to call for assistance. After contacting their only office in the UK, I was told by the Operator that they were incapable of amending my reservation “due to federal regulations in the US”. I was then instructed to attempt the amendments through their website, not their app; again I was given an error message instructing me that amendments could only be completed via their telephone contact. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this “service” if traveling within the United States.

The service attendant who showed me how to work the GPS was excellent . I didn’t expect my pre payment three months before pickup to be the total since I wanted GPS which I handled at pickup time , but there were taxes and other charges . These I would have liked to have seen when I made the reservation. - what I really liked was the company covered liability insurance .

I booked a car through this app and paid $239 for deposit online at the end of June, last week I rent the car and the app shows I successfully rent it too. However it didn’t return the deposit even the car hiring company confirmed everything is okay and I paid the bill. I called several times to the Rentalcars however they always ask me to wait for no reason. I ask CS why they won’t return my deposit but no one can answer and tell me to wait for their calls. But no one contact me in the end. Good Job Rentalcars, for ruin my day.

It took me a couple of tries to get a handle of how the reservations worked and, except for one or two glitches (I amended a reservation but the booking still shows up as existing, for instance) in comparing their prices with the ones I found on other travel and car hire apps, Rentalcars gave me the best price per car type, every time. This will be my go-to application for car rentals from now on.

1. the search for cars to rent in the App and Website give different results, 2. the App should have detailed addresses and maps (or link to googles maps) for all locations, my last experience required a walk on a roadway to an unmarked rental office. 3. the App shows inconsistent and incorrect currency conversions…and they were different when going to the website.

If you’re thinking about renting a car, do not do it with this guys. They denied my credit car twice, and then when l decided to book it directly through the local rent a car, they took my money and accepted the booking where they denied at the first attempt without any authorization from me. I’ve talk with someone, from customers service and they weren’t able to fix this issue from their system. I completely feel stolen by this rental. I’ll never gonna use this website/app again.

Customer service is nearly non-existent. The car I booked wasn’t even available when I went to pick it up. I called them and was on hold for an hour. I was eventually told to get a more expensive car, which was available, and the difference would be refunded to my account. It’s been four months without any word from them and no refund. I would have had better luck not booking through these people and going straight to the rental companies. Don’t use this app.

I used this app for several bookings with success. Then came the time I rented with one of the recommended companies, Fox Rental Cars, and it was a bad experience, especially regarding an early drop off. Fox could not be contacted, so I reached out to Rental Car, and they also had no way to contact Fox or assist with one of their curated choices. I see no reason to work with an agent that curates and takes a percentage from their recommendations but then can’t apply some help or pressure when one of their customers needs assistance.

I paid for a car rental months before my trip. The money came out of my bank account and weeks later I found out my reservations were canceled. I checked with my bank and I was never reimbursed. I called the actual car rental in my city and they couldn’t help since I went through a third party. When I called the Rentalcars number I realize it was based out of the United Kingdom. I was not able to get anyone on the phone. I was then charged with overseas phone charges. Overall worst experience. It’s a scam! Run while you can.

It is friendly and easy to use and select options. *** However I am really concerned with this company commitment towards free cancellations claims or refunds payment (since they use your credit card once you book a car. But when you cancel there is no guarantee that you get your money back.

The app and the website are screwed up! After I doubled checked the return day and time when I made the reservation on the website, but the email with the final reservation had me returning the car 12 hrs earlier, then I went to the app to revise it and I triple checked the return before checking out and then my confirmation email said I was to return the car 8 days later! Huh? Called them and wouldn’t even honor the original price. So paying more because they would charge me a cancellation fee! It’s a scam!!!

The last time I rented a car a month ago, the car I booked wasn’t what they gave Me when I got there even after I showed them the class of car I rented. I showed them the order. They said they don’t know why they list that SUV, they never have it. I said then that really doesn’t help Me right now. This isn’t the first time and not the same company. My flight got switch due to mechanical problems so I wasn’t able to pick up my rental car to drive it to my family emergency. I simply asked if I could move the reservation to the new airport and they said they can’t and I will STILL be charged for the car that I never picked up. They said no refund will be administered either. I had a family emergency during a A PANDEMIC to where I flew to the whole other side of the county and they weren’t willing to work with me.

Great app and easy to use. However when I am about to finish, it tells me the payment doesnt work and wants me to call the rental to fix, So i start again and same happens, only to find out I now have double booked, so now I have booked and paid fot two cars amd need to cancel one, which is ok but takes too many days to get a refund.

I’m writing in regards to the completely terrible app that this company uses. I’ve tried several times to change my time of pick up for a car rental and every time I save it, I go back and it has completely changed the times and dates on my order from what I saved! Very frustrating and .... of course... there is no one to talk to on the phone. It directs you to their website which ironically decides not to load when you save your changes. Very frustrating. Very nerve racking. Ridiculous.

I rented a car from Tangier to Marrakech for 3 days. This app said it would be $20/day all in. Less than $60 prepaid. When I drop the car off in Marrakech they charge me 130 Euros for a drop off fee!! If you page down on the purchase 4 paragraphs of small print you see there “may” be a drop off charge. To not put this front and center is a crime. We could have flown to Marrakech cheaper, especially when you count gas, tolls, parking etc. They leave this info out so they can sucker you into the purchase, with a low price. Will never use them again and you should definitely rethink doing so yourself. I am fortunate to actually be able to afford this scam, other people may not be so fortunate and then they have to come up with cash!! At the airport.

Downloaded this app. Tried to use it for a while and everytime I tried to search rentals this red bar popped up saying “make sure return is at least 1 hour away” I had no idea what this meant. Did not show me how to use it. I tried doing multiple different adjustments. Got frustrated and deleted the app. Much rather use google search to find rentals nearby rather then trying to figure out this absurdly complicated app.

So we booked a rental car 4 months ago, a smaller compact car as I know the channel Island roads are pretty tight and narrow. We booked an automatic Corsa or similar. On arrival we were presented with a Tivoli SUV, certainly no way compact ! When questioning this saying it was supposed to be a compact we were told this was all they had in their fleet! When I called Rental Cars I was told I needed to call the sun contracted rental company myself and figure it out..really outrageous customer service....first and LAST time using this AWFUL Company

20 minutes ago, I made a reservation to pick a vehicle in two days. I decided to cancel when I saw the outrageous amount for deposit they were requesting while the real rental company just withhold just half of what the contract asks for. I decided to cancel and now here comes the moneymaker for them. They kept the entire rent amount! No reimbursement whatsoever. After my cancellation, I decided to close my 25 minutes old account and remove the app. DON’T FALL IN THIS COMPANY’s TRAP!!!

I rented a car and noticed my name was misspelled in electronic record I notified Rentalcars twice and spoke to a supervisor as well. I was told I could make the change at pickup. Alamo refused and airport manager said if record did not match 100% they would not be paid. I paid $130 for weekend and never got car. I paid $160 for replacement. NEVER GOT REFUND AS THESE PEOPLE ARE IN EUROPE. SPENT HOURS TRYING TO GET REFUND AND GAVE UP. This was my second and time and my recommendation is to STAY AWAY. ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

Used this app 1 time before and no one could touch their rate. They offer a free, no hassle cancellation policy. A must during Covid. Couldn’t get that with Priceline. Will use this app even after Covid it was so easy .
Payment Issues

I had all kinds of issues with making my initial payment. Between Rentalcars telling me my payment was unsuccessful, but that the booking had been Confirmed, and Capital One indicating the payment had been processed; I was, and am not sure, I have a reservation at all.

Tried several times unsuccessfully to submit a new card for payment but the system would not take the new card.

Could not link up booking on app. Need to print out paper. Then they partner with companies that are not even open when flight arrives. Rude customer service. Long phone hold. When you call their partner company easirent you get a voice mail that says the mailbox is full and then it hangs up. Had to go to a reputable company at airport and book another car. I guess you get what you pay for....

This company completely STOLE every penny of my money and left me stranded at an airport with no car and a family. Luckily, I was able to find a non scam company-BUT AVOID AT ALL COSTS. 100% SCAM. They are literally thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I tried to call, I was hung up on multiple times and then they wouldn’t answer the phone until it was hours AFTER my reservation time so they could say “ oh, the reservation must be canceled in advance” SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

At first I was charged the fee they had told me and then I was charged a separate fee. I have been emailing with them for a few days and it is still unresolved. They told me they didn’t see they charged me that. I ended up having to cancel my rental and when speaking with customer service they were very rude. I will not be using them again. Very disappointed.
