Log in and sync complications

I can no longer log in with my android device. It reads the device as offline all the time. Their helpdesk wasn’t helpful. They only changed my password and that didn’t work. The app hasn’t synced on my iphone in a week. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and the content rolled back a year. The movies on the app had become stale and unimaginative anyway. I’ve had a recurring annual subscription for almost ten years, i canceled it today. There are more reliable options with better content available. Irokotv chose to rest on its past laurels. Big mistake.

If you are getting this it is good to watch on your laptop. This apple does not work well with Apple TV. After downloading the app on Apple TV, and pausing a movie, you are stuck on a black screen. In order to continue the movie or even exit out, you have to delete the app from Apple TV and then re-download the app, and start from scratch.

The appletv app is getting annoying. We paused, you get resume play until one close the app and relaunch and have to start from the beginning. The closes at every push of the menu button. This need to be fixed.

Can’t fast forward on Apple TV

Since the last apple update I have not been able to use the fast forward option on my Apple TV... it gets stuck each time I try and is only released when I restart my Apple TV I can watch the movie as long as i don’t try to fast forward or rewind All other devices everything works fine Would appreciate this being resolved soon Thanks

My login details don’t even save automatically to my phone and I have to retype. It’s not cool. Pls fix the app for iPhones. I am unable to access the movies and keep getting a funny error message stating that my subscription has been applied towards something else. I am being given the run around by the chat service. I’m having issues with my app, it’s really frustrating now!! Please admin what’s going on?? It’s either my downloaded movies are not playing at all or when I watch with my data(after downloading) it goes blank but movie audio continues playing, I deleted and downloaded again severely, but same issue!!! I’ve had this subscription for a while and keep hoping it will get better but it’s only getting worse. In the past 2 months, I’ve deleted and redone loaded the app but haven’t been able to watch anything. The app loads to the shoutouts page and nothing else can be done from there. I’ve tried on all my devices and nothing works. It’s become a waste. Either give me my money back or fix it. This is ridiculous.

I’m not sure what’s been the issue with the app lately, I haven’t been able to watch a movie for over a month now. App keeps freezing, can’t click on anything, I’ve repeatedly terminated and reran the app to no avail. Also, the casting feature seems to have been removed, I can’t watch on my iPad or cast it to my tv which are basically the 2 ways I watch movies on the app. Extremely disappointed that this has carried on for over a month, can’t even utilize my subscription.

It’s 2020 and African movies have improved way beyond what it was 17yrs ago. They’re very entertaining and dramatic, but what the film makers are lacking is time placement. They wait till the last 8mins or so, towards the end, to solve all the issues. They stretch the entire thing out and within 10mins of closing or 5mins rather, that’s when things are being found out (whatever the movie is focused on, like a cheating wife or finding the truth out about something) it’s not realistic. 20-30mins should be the basis of when issues are solved and the truth is spoken. All I do is get frustrated. Please stop doing this!!!!

Don't waste your time on this app. I pay for three months Subscription and within my second month, it repeatedly said that I'm not subscribed and that I needed to be subscribed to watch movies. The sad part is that I only watched one movie since I pay for the app. All the movies I have seen online and wanted to watch they did not have them. Is like all the movie were so far back. The few that I wanted to watch the app was acting up. I wrote the support team more than once but never got any response.

I sent a message on instagram which was ignored about requesting for the cast to tv icon which is usually enabled with the use of a chrome cast, I have mentioned this too before but as usual it’s being ignored. I bet they can’t be bothered about finishing. They feel the app is available so nothing else should matter. But little things matter most. SceneOne tv came right after IROKOtv and they have the icon for easier viewing . Decided no more IROKOtv after this subscription.

The ability to be able to pick up where you left off, rewind without the movie pausing, unsubscribe from the app, actually add a pic of yourself, and get a movie description are just a few things that would make this app better. I'm afraid too, that I will watch everything on here before my three months are up. The movies are crisp and clear. More movie selections would be great. Update 1/20/19: Autoplay functionality STILL DOESN’T WORK without some type of interference from me! (i.e. I have to touch ff or rew button or 15-sec during playback)... and app still doesn’t pick up show from where it left off when I close and reopen. I mean, this is basic functionality for streaming services at this point, and IROKOtv has been around long enough to get its act together; honestly, what is the point of the app updates if you can’t get simple playback features right?? Deleting and canceling my subscription, I’m over it. Update: Autoplay still doesn't work- tried force restart, deleting from device and iCloud and reinstalling the app, signed out and back in... but nothing has fixed it, I still have to touch fast forward or rewind buttons once the episode starts for it to automatically go onto the next one when it ends. Please fix, and add broadcast capabilities... as well, the app should "remember" where you've left off watching, so that whenever you open it, it takes you back to the episode or point in the movie where you stopped... would really improve the app and put it close to par with the other streaming powerhouses out there. There have been quite a few improvements over the last year to the app, so we know you are listening- thank you. However, the inability to broadcast from the iPad without a physical connection is still a big challenge- particularly because the Autoplay functionality for the TV episodes does not seem to work, I have to touch either the fast forward or rewind button for it to autoplay the next episode. Please fix for us, so that we can better manage our viewing experience; at the very least, please fix the Autoplay functionality.

Immediately after I pitched IROKOtv to my coworkers they all subscribed. Now 3+me that’s 4, but guess what, we haven’t been able to access the app for about a week now. The customer service agent told us to uninstall and reinstall but it only got worse because now we can’t login.

I used to enjoy this service but recently, it has gone bad. In fact, it is horrible if you intend to watch on the road or when traveling. Two main issues they need to address: 1. After downloading the movies, you still need Internet to watch because the system checks for subscription before you can watch downloaded movies. I was on a 12 hour flight and have hoped to watch my downloaded movies but I could not!!!. The rubbish system was checking my subscription which requires internet connection. Totally defeats the purpose. 2. The system get hung checking for subscription license. I have deleted the app and reinstall three times but issues remain the same. License checking status is still in a loop even after their recent update in March 2018. All the downloaded movies are grayed out and I can't click to watch. However I am able to stream other movies that have not been downloaded without any issues. I tried chatting with their customer rep and got no response after many attempts .

Poor customer support team who do not have any idea of what they are doing. Market women and men talking to you, very rude and extremely unprofessional. I had one tell me I could go die can you imagine..... till today my issue isn’t resolved yet I am still unable to login in with my iPad. Issue are not resolved no one to talk to or call very pathetic. The excuse of support agent names I spoke with that couldn’t resolve my issue and told me to die is Ejiro. Funmi and Sam where equally as miserable as she was. Till tomorrow I am still waiting to receive an email or sms saying my issue is resolved. Typical Nigerian owned poor business

Why wasn’t there any response to the questions asked on December 1 and on December 22? I am having the same issues right now. Why can’t I view movies or even access the app at all when I’m paying? This message would also not go through unless I rate this app more than one star. This is ridiculous!!.

I’m not sure what’s been the issue with the app lately, I haven’t been able to watch a movie for over a month now. App keeps freezing, can’t click on anything, I’ve repeatedly terminated and reran the app to no avail. Also, the casting feature seems to have been removed, I can’t watch on my iPad or cast it to my tv which are basically the 2 ways I watch movies on the app. Extremely disappointed that this has carried on for over a month, can’t even utilize my subscription.

I’ve had this subscription for a while and keep hoping it will get better but it’s only getting worse. In the past 2 months, I’ve deleted and redone loaded the app but haven’t been able to watch anything. The app loads to the shoutouts page and nothing else can be done from there. I’ve tried on all my devices and nothing works. It’s become a waste. Either give me my money back or fix it. This is ridiculous.

If you are getting this it is good to watch on your laptop. This apple does not work well with Apple TV. After downloading the app on Apple TV, and pausing a movie, you are stuck on a black screen. In order to continue the movie or even exit out, you have to delete the app from Apple TV and then re-download the app, and start from scratch.

I sent a message on instagram which was ignored about requesting for the cast to tv icon which is usually enabled with the use of a chrome cast, I have mentioned this too before but as usual it’s being ignored. I bet they can’t be bothered about finishing. They feel the app is available so nothing else should matter. But little things matter most. SceneOne tv came right after IROKOtv and they have the icon for easier viewing . Decided no more IROKOtv after this subscription.

I am so disappointed by this apps download feature, l downloaded my movies to watch on my long trip only to try and then it keeps trying to validate my subscription and then it needs the internet which defeats the purpose of downloading to watch later. Won’t even let you log in. Not really user-friendly either. Downloads can’t be viewed offline (what’s the point then, IROKOtv?). You can improve your service by hiring developers who actually know what they are doing. Let viewers be able to continue from where they left off ( er, look at Netflix, for instance). Improve, we’re paying money for this garbage.

I can no longer log in with my android device. It reads the device as offline all the time. Their helpdesk wasn’t helpful. They only changed my password and that didn’t work. The app hasn’t synced on my iphone in a week. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and the content rolled back a year. The movies on the app had become stale and unimaginative anyway. I’ve had a recurring annual subscription for almost ten years, i canceled it today. There are more reliable options with better content available. Irokotv chose to rest on its past laurels. Big mistake.

Before you purchase wait until all the bugs are updated. The app was working great until they added the shout-out section a few days ago, now it glitches etc. if this continue I may have to cancel the subscription. Hope they get this issue resolved soon.

It’s 2020 and African movies have improved way beyond what it was 17yrs ago. They’re very entertaining and dramatic, but what the film makers are lacking is time placement. They wait till the last 8mins or so, towards the end, to solve all the issues. They stretch the entire thing out and within 10mins of closing or 5mins rather, that’s when things are being found out (whatever the movie is focused on, like a cheating wife or finding the truth out about something) it’s not realistic. 20-30mins should be the basis of when issues are solved and the truth is spoken. All I do is get frustrated. Please stop doing this!!!!

Don't waste your time on this app. I pay for three months Subscription and within my second month, it repeatedly said that I'm not subscribed and that I needed to be subscribed to watch movies. The sad part is that I only watched one movie since I pay for the app. All the movies I have seen online and wanted to watch they did not have them. Is like all the movie were so far back. The few that I wanted to watch the app was acting up. I wrote the support team more than once but never got any response.

I sent a message on instagram which was ignored about requesting for the cast to tv icon which is usually enabled with the use of a chrome cast, I have mentioned this too before but as usual it’s being ignored. I bet they can’t be bothered about finishing. They feel the app is available so nothing else should matter. But little things matter most. SceneOne tv came right after IROKOtv and they have the icon for easier viewing . Decided no more IROKOtv after this subscription.

The ability to be able to pick up where you left off, rewind without the movie pausing, unsubscribe from the app, actually add a pic of yourself, and get a movie description are just a few things that would make this app better. I'm afraid too, that I will watch everything on here before my three months are up. The movies are crisp and clear. More movie selections would be great. I'm happy with the price and that there is a app like this. I know that in time it will improve😁

Update 1/20/19: Autoplay functionality STILL DOESN’T WORK without some type of interference from me! (i.e. I have to touch ff or rew button or 15-sec during playback)... and app still doesn’t pick up show from where it left off when I close and reopen. I mean, this is basic functionality for streaming services at this point, and IROKOtv has been around long enough to get its act together; honestly, what is the point of the app updates if you can’t get simple playback features right?? Deleting and canceling my subscription, I’m over it. Update: Autoplay still doesn't work- tried force restart, deleting from device and iCloud and reinstalling the app, signed out and back in... but nothing has fixed it, I still have to touch fast forward or rewind buttons once the episode starts for it to automatically go onto the next one when it ends. Please fix, and add broadcast capabilities... as well, the app should "remember" where you've left off watching, so that whenever you open it, it takes you back to the episode or point in the movie where you stopped... would really improve the app and put it close to par with the other streaming powerhouses out there. There have been quite a few improvements over the last year to the app, so we know you are listening- thank you. However, the inability to broadcast from the iPad without a physical connection is still a big challenge- particularly because the Autoplay functionality for the TV episodes does not seem to work, I have to touch either the fast forward or rewind button for it to autoplay the next episode. Please fix for us, so that we can better manage our viewing experience; at the very least, please fix the Autoplay functionality.

I used to enjoy this service but recently, it has gone bad. In fact, it is horrible if you intend to watch on the road or when traveling. Two main issues they need to address: 1. After downloading the movies, you still need Internet to watch because the system checks for subscription before you can watch downloaded movies. I was on a 12 hour flight and have hoped to watch my downloaded movies but I could not!!!. The rubbish system was checking my subscription which requires internet connection. Totally defeats the purpose. 2. The system get hung checking for subscription license. I have deleted the app and reinstall three times but issues remain the same. License checking status is still in a loop even after their recent update in March 2018. All the downloaded movies are grayed out and I can't click to watch. However I am able to stream other movies that have not been downloaded without any issues. I tried chatting with their customer rep and got no response after many attempts .

Poor customer support team who do not have any idea of what they are doing. Market women and men talking to you, very rude and extremely unprofessional. I had one tell me I could go die can you imagine..... till today my issue isn’t resolved yet I am still unable to login in with my iPad. Issue are not resolved no one to talk to or call very pathetic. The excuse of support agent names I spoke with that couldn’t resolve my issue and told me to die is Ejiro. I’m not sure what’s been the issue with the app lately, I haven’t been able to watch a movie for over a month now. App keeps freezing, can’t click on anything, I’ve repeatedly terminated and reran the app to no avail. Also, the casting feature seems to have been removed, I can’t watch on my iPad or cast it to my tv which are basically the 2 ways I watch movies on the app. Extremely disappointed that this has carried on for over a month, can’t even utilize my subscription.

I’ve had this subscription for a while and keep hoping it will get better but it’s only getting worse. In the past 2 months, I’ve deleted and redone loaded the app but haven’t been able to watch anything. The app loads to the shoutouts page and nothing else can be done from there. I’ve tried on all my devices and nothing works. It’s become a waste. Either give me my money back or fix it. This is ridiculous.

If you are getting this it is good to watch on your laptop. This apple does not work well with Apple TV. After downloading the app on Apple TV, and pausing a movie, you are stuck on a black screen. In order to continue the movie or even exit out, you have to delete the app from Apple TV and then re-download the app, and start from scratch.

Won’t even let you log in. Not really user-friendly either. Downloads can’t be viewed offline (what’s the point then, IROKOtv?). You can improve your service by hiring developers who actually know what they are doing. Let viewers be able to continue from where they left off ( er, look at Netflix, for instance). Improve, we’re paying money for this garbage.
