When writing comments, and then editing those comments for spelling issues or arrangement. Youtude obviously wants its viewers to ALWAYs SEE its advertisements instead of what you’re trying to do in the comment field. The comment field is literally 1 inch tall with tiny fonts. The keyboard is huge & The screen viewing area - even while focused on the comment section is still Enormous and takes up most of the screen. The comment field is literally the smallest area of the screen while trying to type a comment. It is completely moronic. I would suggest using your desktop PC or Mac if you’re planning on doing ANY commenting. The app makes commenting extremely frustrating. Thanks for reading

I love the app, but I hate that every time I leave the app I can't continue listening to the video I had playing. Personally I like listening to music with my phone off, so that I'm not wasting battery for a song on this app.

I’ve learned my lesson: if I need to search for ANY video, I now do it via a search engine, NOT YouTube. Because if I look up a ~single~ oddball video on YouTube, then every other video in my feed will be comprised of instances of that single video. Way to mess up a (formerly) great app. But, there’s a bright side - I don’t have to bother downloading the Bethel TV app on my iPhone. Because my feed is almost TOTALLY comprised of Bethel TV videos, with a few other like-minded individuals thrown in.

Ok so youtube has been great and never crashes, but I just updated it recently and the second I try to play a video the entire app crashes. I've refreshed the app and my phone multiple times and it's still not fixed. When I open the app back up again after it crashes, it says "youtube crashed" and then gives me a little box to click to go back to my video. When I hit the box, the app crashes again.

amazing app amazing content no fault there. but there are all lot of bugs concerning when i’m watching a video in landscape mode and when i try to tap the screen the controls won’t show and the video will stop playing but the audio keeps going. happens all lot especially when i watch a video back to back. besides that love the app!!

Using the mobile web version is much better: What if I want to watch more than one video from the suggested videos? On web I could just open a new tab, or even watch one video and then go back - but I can't do that with the app! If I see two videos I want to watch in the suggestion list, well, too bad for the second video, won't find it again - I have a more enjoyable time using a web browser

I’ve had issues where my videos will speed up and I have no way of slowing them down. I’ve tried lowering the quality but it still maintains the same speed. The videos will start alright and then like 2 mins into it, if that, it will speed up and become inaudible.

YouTube is popular to those around. I think the computer version is better than the mobile ones, but I am posting this through my tablet. I still own a computer, though. I loved to watch those videos and listen to cool songs. I usually watches the videos when I get bored. By the way, the only way that annoys me is the long loading screens. I think it is because of low Internet or slow connection. I still liked to watch stuff by my favorite youtubers or about my loved games.

I love this app so much and I am pretty much on it 24/7 but there are some things that need fixed. The most annoying of the problems in my opinion is that when I’m watching a video that is half an hour or more, about halfway through the video keeps playing but the audio restarts. It just does it by its self even if I don’t touch it or anything. To make it worse no matter how many times I restart the video or forward it to the end and then restart or even exit out of the app IT CONTINUES TO DO IT IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT. It’s suuuuuuper and I wanna know if anyone else has this problem because so far everyone that I know hasn’t.

I love YouTube don’t get me wrong but right now the app won’t show on my home page and I can’t open it at all through the App Store or through the YouTube web sight. This is really frustrating because YouTube is one of my favorite apps and now I can’t even get on it. I don’t know what happened. The videos tend to stop and the audio goes out of sync (unless you rewind it). As of today, I’ve noticed the audio slowing down or speeding up far past the visual end!!!

Hi. Most of the time that I am on my phone is spent in the YouTube app. Recently, however, there was a stability update, which has (ironically) made the app crash all the time. I would experience a crash once every month, if not less often. But ever since the most recent update, the app will crash every five minutes. Loading an ad - crash. Loading auto play - crash. Loading the next video in a playlist - crash. Loading a YouTube Red popup - crash. It's very annoying and I wish I hadn't updated. I'm using older hardware (specifically the cyan iPod 5) but it's still within the app's requirements. Needless to say, I am eagerly awaiting the next update.

Added recommendations on the page you’re watching a video is unnecessary. You already have recommendations on the landing page. The new shrinking the video size after the video stops is also annoying when you are using a big phone and have to reach so far up to shrink the video. Recent updates seem unnecessary and make the experience poor

When I click on a video to watch it, the video starts normally but the audio plays twice and make it all out of sync. I need to rewind the video a couples seconds to make time audio sync with the video. This bug is in most of the videos and I don’t experience this in the browser version of YouTube.

It’s a great app overall only a few things I’d change and they’re mostly just annoying petty things like the pull down menu and the layout. It’s a way better alternative to going to the website on safari and I would definitely recommend it!

Videos pause every time I get notifications. Really annoying when I’m enjoying a video or song and the video pauses. A cool feature to add would be an “up next” feature so we can add videos to it and they can automatically play but only if we put them in the “up next” queue. Sometimes I want to watch a video but then I see another one I want to watch after it and another one too, so this feature would help out so I can watch all the videos I wanted to see and not forget about them.

One of the recent updates made it so you can't shuffle playlists from within a video anymore, and if you shuffle from the playlist's page, it doesn't continue shuffling after the first song. It's really annoying if you listen to music on youtube regularly, especially since the website still does this right.

I love YouTube and I use it a lot! It’s amazing, but recently ONLY after the newest update, it’s been doing a glitch where when I turn my phone/tablet sideways to watch, or back to its normal right side up position, it will stop the video. Yet another update that doesn’t address audio/video sync issues with Bluetooth headphones. Other apps solved this problem YEARS ago. But Google would rather spend their time and resources removing functional third party YouTube apps from the App Store than fixing their own app.

I love this app, but there is one horrible bug that is causing me to only rate it 3 stars. I have to delete and re-download this app every day, or every time i exit out of the app. No video will load if I don’t reinstall it. I’ve dealt with this bug for 4 or 5 months now, but it’s really starting to annoy me. It’s just a pain deleting and reinstalling the app every time i want to watch a video. Please fix this!

Hello. I have a little problem here... I absolutely love this app, and I've never had a problem using it. But, after update 13.01, the app immediately crashes a split second after I click on a video, going black and redirected me to the home screen. It's never done this before. Every once in a while Youtube will decide that it doesn’t want to work and can take upwards of 10 minutes loading a video. Of course no one is that patient so they might be disappointed to know that this loading time can actually freeze the phone too. Very annoying.

So youtube is great I use it to watch music videos aphmau and WWF wrestling of stone cold it’s amazing to go back if you miss something captions are a life saver and go forward if people talk to much auto go so like if there’s a part 2 you can turn it on to auto play or like channels like react and ellen and there are also some great other people but in all honesty GET THIS APP -from sasa

YouTube, I don't know how common this is, but I am on iOS and every time I click on a video it crashes. If I delete the app and re download it, it works until I close out of the app. The next time I get back in the app, it will crash when I click on a video.

Not a bad app by any means. I think that $10 a month for the red subscription is not worth it. That is a service that should be about $5. It’s still annoying that the app doesn’t have a landscape mode built into the UI.

I have an IPhone 7 and every time I open up YouTube and select ANYTHING, vids, featured videos, history, and so on and so forth, the app crashes. The only thing I can do is uninstall and reinstall and just pray that it doesn't crash until I've finished what I'm doing. THIS RUINS THE APP, PLEASE FIX IMMEDIATELY. Seriously, fix this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 6 times now.

I see ‘issues’ that some complain about regarding bugs, etc. This app is the best despite a few glitches - it works perfect 90% of the time- and it’s magic wasn’t even around a decade or so ago! If people are saddened by the few minor ‘glitches’, maybe they should go back to MTV and VH1. But seriously, $13.00 a month for unlimited viewing and the ability to work on other apps- or just turn the screen off and keep music playing to conserve battery life- is priceless - despite the occasional ‘bug’.

I use this app all the time and for the most part it works really well! The videos load up fairly quickly and they can be watched without any trouble when watching in a high resolution. And in its simplest form, that’s it! It works well! However, there are some bugs and some flaws that need to be fixed. While the videos are watchable, at times it will freeze and the app will just crash. This can get really annoying when you’re watching something and then all of a sudden it just crashes on you. Thankfully, once you head back into the app, it will let you start off from where you were. But there is one last flaw that really should be fixed, connecting to the TV. While videos do work well on the TV, half of the time I’ll be watching a video, and then all of a sudden I may accidentally tap the icon to connect to the TV and then it will just connect. You can exit out of it, but sometimes I won’t notice and it will connect to my TV without me even knowing. And I feel like when you tap on the icon, it should say “Are you sure that you want to connect to this TV?” And then you could either tap Yes or No, instead of it just automatically connecting with very little time to cancel the operation. Other than these though, the app isn’t all that bad and I would recommend it, as long as the flaws don’t mess with your time watching videos, then it is a passable app.

I think I MIGHT have watched a gaming livestream ONCE. Now YouTube's algorithms seem to think that gaming livestreams are my favorite thing in the world. It doesn't matter how many times I click "not interested" to remove them from my feed, every time I refresh I have 10-12 new GTA V, World of Warcraft, and other random gaming livestreams in my feed. If I click the "tell us why" option, I have three options: already watched the video; don't like the video; not interested in the channel. Any of those options only seem to suggest to the algorithm that I just want to watch gaming livestreams from a DIFFERENT channel. No. I. Do. Not. Want. To. Watch. ANY. Gaming. Livestreams. If I ever decide that I do, I know how to type, "please show me a gaming livestream from some random person I don't care about" in the search bar. The video feed is already weak and biased towards view numbers on this app. But the constant livestreams in my feed that I couldn't possibly care less about have found a way to make it even worse. How about putting some content from channels I actually subscribe to in my feed? Crazy, I know. I mean, literally every other video in my feed is a GTA V livestream. I don't see how it benefits your business model to constantly "suggest" videos I have absolutely NO intention of watching or generating ad revenue for.

Alright, I'm giving this four stars I would've put five but these two bugs have bin going on for awhile and it's annoying me. 1.when I'm watching I video I want to get out of full screen and all of a sudden it switches me back into full screen and it wouldn't let me leave it this has been going far to long and it's getting annoying 2.Now this one hasn't been going for a long time but this is getting in my nerves when I type a comment on a video and then I think to myself *nah I shouldn't type that* so I tap the screen to get out of the comment and it shows the keyboard this is confusing the way I'm typing this but let me explain for people reading, for iPhones, iPads and tablets you have to tap on your screen to get out of your comment but of course people may have done that by mistake and then they have to type it all again so it tells *do you want discard your comment or keep typing* simple but NOW when I want to get out of the comment the thing shows BUT MY KEYBOARD DOESNT DISAPPEAR AMD IT BLOCKS THE *do you want to discard the comment or keep typing* SO THEM I HAVE TO GET OUT OF THE APP SO I CAN WATCH A DIFFERENT VIDEO THIS IS SUPER ANNOYING

When sorting/filtering search results, the check mark doesn’t show up so it doesn’t work!! Been like this for weeks. WHY DOESN'T THE IPAD APP SUPPORT PICTURE IN PICTURE MODE?! Although I wouldn't be able to live without YouYube, this update has made everything you do take longer and harder and be more complex. First, the comments have not been improved whatsoever (that was my #1 complaint from last time). They still haven't given back any of the functionality we had a few months ago. Next, the entire app seems pretty laggy, but espicially the comments section, which takes FOREVER for animations to occur and load. My last few complaints include (1) the speed of the previews of the videos loading on the home page. When you are scroll down, even if it's very slowly, you will notice that the videos don't load until you see them, so they'll be gray for the first .5-1 sec. It is very annoying for your eyes to see this, but you'll have to experience it in person to feel the full effect of frustration. (2) they've taken away the ability to slide between your home, hot, and subscriptions pages and they've put them all at the bottom. 👎👎 (3) The ram management is still terrible. (4) The entire UI is just clunky and gross and a major downdate, if you will, from last time... So... DO NOT UPDATE!

I love watching family vloggers and even listening to music! But there are some issues I’m running into here’s #1. The videos load ok at times at other times videos will stop and buffer, sometimes sit and buffer for 2 minuets and then continue playing. #2. At times videos keep switching different quality and won’t stay locked on to the default quality setting which is 1080p but it keeps switching between 144p to 360p then back to 1080p. #3 the app crashes and when it occurs it even causes my whole phone to crash and lock up and not do anything so I press the home button 3 times to gain access to my phone again to close the app completely out and restart it but it doesn’t crash every often it happens maybe every 3 or 4 times I open the app to watch the family vloggers! So all in all, all of these things are annoying and if these things can be fixed I would find it to be better then before! Some will say no it’s your internet, I say explain to me why I’m having these issues with the app and internet if my internet speed is 1 gig per minute!

Years ago i would be able to see 4-5 video thumbnails on my subscription feed. Long ago they’ve blown every thumbnail up and added useless clutter that takes up little space individually but a lot of space together. Now i only see 2-1/2 sub thumbnails every page. At least give us an option to view our sub videos in a list/grid form that isn’t completely cluttered. The bottom bar with “home” “tending” “subs” etc used to be in a slide-from-the-left menu to save screen real estate. Now it’s a near-useless permanent 1cm bar at the bottom of the app. at least the top bar goes into a hidden mode while scrolling down. it seems like every update makes small increments on making the app WORSE. We used to be able to play videos in the background, now you have to pay ~$10 a month for that feature. I also dislike how the “up next”/“related videos” take up about 3 pages under every video meaning you have to scroll far down to get to the comment section. allowing this to be collapsible would help. It’s mind blowing how a company this powerful can’t hire competent developers that can make an app quicker to use rather than having to scroll 3 pages to get to the comments.

Hi lol I’m always writing new reviews bc I just have so many cool ideas in the middle of the night xD Anyways yeah YT is a great app :) so here’s my request: I really think u should make a gimmick of copying and pasting comments :) Because there’s some comments in Spanish and I just want to go to Google Translate and Translate the comment to English to understand what they’re saying plus I’m learning Spanish at this time so this would be a helpful gimmick. Thank you. Edit: ok so the frozen comment section bug hasn’t been happening for a while so I’m guessing they fixed it so ty :) I have a new suggestion that I would LOVE if you’d add. So you know when you reply to a comment it says the name for which person you’re talking to? Well I think you should make the reply name have a kind of “bold” letter because sometimes people have weird usernames and I might get confused with their comment. For the most part, this app works really well, but sometimes after a video ends while I have it on full screen, it freezes and stays black for a few seconds, which is a little odd. The only other problem I have is that when I pause a video to read something and have to tap the vid to get the white pause symbols out of the way, it glitches if I tap it twice too fast and the symbols freeze for a few seconds, which is aggravating and has been happening for a few months now. I’d really appreciate it if you guys could fix these two small issues. Other then that, everything else is great. Update: It doesn’t seem like any of the problems I mentioned have been fixed, as they’re still happening. Please fix those issues. Also, for some reason, this app just now closed on me and my phone turned off and immediately turned back on. I’m assuming it has something to do with the app itself. If so, please fix that problem.

I use this app probably more than any other app on my iPhone. For the most part it’s really great, but not without flaws. Most of the videos displayed in the Home screen no longer show the video length timestamp in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail which is really irritating. It looks like all other views in the app show the timestamp, so hopefully it’s a bug that’s fixed ASAP. A couple random videos in the Home list show the timestamp while the other 95% do not, which makes no sense. Sometimes the video rotation gets stuck in landscape and will not revert back to portrait view, only the opposite landscape view. This has been a problem for a few months now, and the only way to fix it is to force quit the app. This is quite irritating. Finally, a good addition but extremely overdue feature is the ability to sort the Watch Later playlist. FINALLY this utterly BASIC feature exists. I have no idea why the Watch Later playlist worked so differently than regular playlists for so long, but that’s fixed now. The best addition from a few months ago was the feature of double-tapping to rewind and fast forward. Every video player needs this. It’s incredibly user friendly. It’s way better than the rudimentary 15-second skip buttons that many players now have.

The newest update of 2017 December. The video keeps switching to random videos during a video is going on. I cant watch ten seconds of video without it switching to another. So please fix this bug. Also fix your skip button. It’s showing up less and less. And when it does show up it’s for a 15 second video and not a thirty second video. I don’t know how many people have these problems, but it’s important to consider the viewers when you put a video in the link and can’t watch the video they want. I have many other problems to say, but that’s up to the media to explain not mine. ————————————————— This is a day after my complaint. The new new update to fix the switching the video to another video decreased of chance to another video. I don’t know if your still fixing the problem, but don’t rush to fix the problem. I know you do want to keep us satisfied, but rushing to fix problem is going to make it worse. So please fix the problem correctly by not rushing to conclusion of being fixed and being done.

I’ll be watching a video while charging my phone, so I have to turn my phone a specific way to watch in full screen. I’ll turn my phone and it will be UPSIDE DOWN! I try to fix it by exiting the app completely but then it happens again it is extremely irritating because my iPhone needs to charge so if you want me to use your app more often then you need to fix that so I don’t have to take an hour pause to let my phone charge. Other than that I love the app I wish it wouldn’t randomly quit on me mid video also, stop flagging random YouTubers they Are the only reason you are where you are today check if what you are striking then think why you are taking a innocent video down for doing absolutely nothing. This application is absolutely horrible. Even when no videos are displayed on the device, rather the app is used another device such as Roku or Chromecast this app drains the battery like no other! Even with this constant operation, draining the battery, the app often loses the sync with the controlled device. Battery drain continues even if app disconnects from the controller device. Furthermore, when there is a new release with supposedly bug fixes - the description of the fixes is typically an insult to users intelligence, with statements like “make world a better place” or such. Which barely passes as amusing once but is extremely annoying when repeated time after time in different forms. Had the app been developed by anyone smaller than Google (or one of the big 5), it would’ve been kicked out of the App Store. The development team’s level is very poor. But then, being a monopoly Google can get away with anything. Even Apple is afraid to put this substandard and sloppy team in place.

Google's software quality is amazingly bad. For a company that has literally innovated the Internet up to where it is today, they really drop the ball on simple things. Like proper handling of screen rotation. (Has anyone even had this problem in ANY other mobile app? I haven't. Yet it has plagued YT for years.) Or that one bug where video would restart from the beginning while audio kept going. (Thankfully that seems to be fixed now, but it was a problem for way too long.) With the latest update, YT is now able to turn my phone into a hand warmer. 30 min of video drained a quarter of my battery life. Well that's new. I've got to learn not to update this app anymore when I finally run across a version that works. Or, more accurately, when the bugs it has don't affect me enough to care. Get your $@!# together, Google. "It compiles" is not QA.

I like the app it just has a few glitches that need to be fixed. When I start watching a video it takes forever to load than when it starts playing it stops about 10 seconds into the video and it says it’s loading when it’s not. I restart the video a few times and it stops at the same place so I close out of the video and try again. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t so I have to repeat the process multiple times. Another thing is that when there is an add it takes a really long time to load or it doesn’t load. I’m the middle of a video I close out then I have to repeat the process I do at the beginning. Than when it finally starts working correctly I have to find my place and that takes even longer to load. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but that doesn’t fix the problem.

Can you please switch to the old card view when you pull down videos to search for others? It used to just fill the bottom right, but now it fills the entire bottom as an elongated card instead of just the video, and it even makes the video part smaller and chops off some of the top and bottom of the video which I dislike. I don’t need to have the whole title down there. Go back to the old style and make the card of variable size depending on the video. I noticed that videos are actually 4:3 or of other lengths when viewing them in portrait mode now, instead of always showing in a 16:9 area with letterboxing. I absolutely love that change and it would be super amazing if you could implement the old pull-down card version with that addition. I really prefer swiping to the left to dismiss those video cards instead of down with the new style as well.

Update causes app to no longer recognize Apple lightening digital a/v adapter. Now my phone will only do screen mirroring (it used to automatically switch it to AirPlay mode), which I personally would not mind, except that for some reason, i can no longer play a playlist if I am using my adapter. The app will play one video and then stop, even though I am supposed to be playing a playlist. I am not talking about auto play. I am referring to a playlist. And auto play does not work with playlists — because it is a playlist. I used to be able to plug in my adapter, shuffle a playlist and go on about my day with my phone playing video after video. Now, I use my adapter and then have to run back to my phone every time a video ends. Not good —not happy. This is not an IOS issue because it was doing this before I updated. In fact, I updated my phone because I thought it would resolve the problem. I keep trying to find solutions, but nothing has corrected something that was not an issue until now.

When I play a video after a few seconds it says “Something went wrong please try again" and that really annoys me because the video starts for the beginning again so if you have any answers please let me know! Over all AMAZING!❤️❤️❤️ Edit: okay there are a lot of bugs in the latest update it keeps saying “something went wrong please try again" and I can't play any video because of that HUGE ANNOYING BUG! The videos don't “stay" I mean that when I leave the page open for a few minutes it just goes away! These bugs really annoy me and I would like you to fix them please...I can't watch my daily videos and it's just annoying! It gets so annoying that I quit watching videos and play boring games! I watched two vine compilations and ONE AlbertsStuff video. Now, my recommendations are piled with dead vines and Roblox videos. There’s not even videos from my subscriptions, which is just dumb, I should say. I always click “I am uninterested” but they never get deleted. Do you people even listen to the reviews? You still have horrible reviews from two years ago. You keep adding new, unnecessary stuff, yet you guys don’t fix the vital issues that were probably there from 2 years ago. I hate to support this app but this is the only video app I prefer to watch from, because it’s the most popular, unfortunately. Don’t expect me to buy any apps or merch from this company until you get more satisfied customers. I only gave you two stars because I feel bad for all of you and your incompetence. Once you fix these stupid bugs I will gladly give you 5 stars. Stop adding unneeded features and LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT GIVE YOU MONEY.

I don’t write reviews much, but I am extremely upset that the smaller video layout has been changed. You used to be able to swipe down on a video and watch it in a little box while browsing for your next selection. If you didn’t want to watch that video anymore you could just swipe it away. Now you can still swipe down, but the video is about 50% smaller and the rest of the space is taken up by the title of the video (unnecessary because I’m already watching it, I know what it’s called), a play/pause button and an “x”. Instead of allowing the users to just swipe away the video, the developers have decided to take away space from the size of the video to put an “x” that you have to click if you want to exit the video. It’s a waste of space and moved in the wrong direction. I would love it if that was fixed.

You could watch everything that you want to watch on here but there is one thing I want y'all to do I want y'all to make a video for season one two and three of the flash it would be cool if someone could make a video one the seasons of flash I am still trying to catch up on the season I am going to be honest I haven't even finished the second season a true flash fan would be done with the second season but I started watching it about a month ago and I am still not done with the second season but I am on S2 E19 I really need to finish the second season and the third season before they come out with the fourth season or if that is the end of the movie and if a creator of flash is watching this don't stop making flash seasons PLEASE

This app overall is a great app but for some reason whenever I go on the app for the first time in a day the sound on every video either is non existent or it's just a buzzing sound, but it's only for the actual video. The ads before the videos still have their regular sound. I've asked my friends if they have the same problem but no one else has a problem with the sound. I have the most recent update of the app and my phone has IOS 10.2 so not the most recent update with my phone but it's done that since before IOS 11.0.1 came out. I don't know if it has to do with my phone or the app because restarting my phone will fix the problem but it's just annoying to have to do it everyday whenever I first get on the app.

I’ve been using this app for years and never really had a problem, other than that they won’t let you play music while your phone isn’t on. But one thing has really been ticking me off, when a video is playing, even when in windowed mode in the corner. It will change the video without you pressing or using the autoplay feature! It really annoying when I’m watching a video when in the middle of a suspenseful part of the video, it will change with no matter what you do! I’ve tried restarting my phone, I’ve tried un and reinstalling, I’ve even thought that my glass screen protector pressing it for me, but It changes when the video is playing at the bottom left of the screen. This app is the best in the App Store, but because of the video problems I can’t give it a full rating...

Let me say this up front, I skip ads and hate products that are in the commercials that WILL play when the content you want to see doesn’t. I actively skip over THE TOILET PAPER(won’t even say the name) IN COMMERCIALS AND ON THE SHELF. I can’t complain about this app on apple products enough. There has always been issues after long play backs over airplay/Apple TV. Now the issues are with every video. If there is a commercial or, if it switches to a new video the connectivity is shaky and will revert the visual back to the device. You then must go and “unsend” from airplay then resend. I usually use it as background noise to get some news while I do projects. The back and forth is ridiculous. The commercials always load on all devices. The companies may think that is good but it really just makes me skip and hate the products, I can’t steer this enough.

Since ios 8 came out, I've only seen one patch from you guys. What are your employees doing all day? Here are a few immediate issues that need fixed asap: 1) When commenting on a vid and the vid ends prior to comment completion, the comment box shrinks up and you have to start all over again. 2) Why is there no edit button once comments are posted from smart phone? 3) The channel switches over to the google account by itself which is an issue all its own but the main frustration is that you can't switch back in the options without having to sign out all together. So either your QC team is filling their time with something other than work, or you allow it and don't care since working on mergers is more important than assuring a quality product. Being so filthy flippin' rich, there is no excuse. Hire Terry Tate and straighten out your office! What are you sitting around for? Get back to work!!
App freezes

I enjoy the experience of being able to watch videos well on my new iPhone, however, there is one drawback that persists to agonize me. This happens to me only when I have the video in landscape. When I pause the video for some time, the app itself will freeze the phone, whereas I must click my power button to make it sleep. I have to press after a certain amount of time after turning off the screen in order for it to pop back up to the way it was. This especially happened when a video ended and autoplay is set to on. I don’t know if it continues when it is off, but it is an annoying bug for me. Just earlier, my phone crashed entirely because of it. Please find a solution, thank you.

I have an iPhone 6plus, and while I get that my device is a bit old and I shouldn't be expecting buttery smooth performance, at the very least I expect the app to be usable, quite frankly the way it is now, it borderline isn't. The scrolling is incredibly bad, and it gets even worse when I have the video window in the corner. I've given up on the comment section because the lag and again terrible scrolling. I literally cannot complete a single task without a stutter or two. And from time to time the app freezes completely forcing me to relaunch it. The quality switcher has become incredibly obnoxious. I have to go and tap the desired quality multiple times just for it to change, Sometimes I just give up and leave it on auto resolution. This is simply not acceptable Ever since YT had a major design change, things have been constantly going down hill with every update, and this was just the cherry on top. At this point your application has no redeeming factors period. These type of problems really have me wondering if your dev team even demo devices before releasing updates. I know I may sound obnoxious, but if this wasn't such an essential app I wouldn't be complaining. YT is easily the worst app I currently have on my phone. Please, please, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaase fix it!

well, I hate to say it but this is my attic complaints… I experience some of the same issues everyone else is talking about in one way or another, the main issue I have though is when I type in a search after all the videos pop up when I try to touch and start the video does not register! It only happens when I type in a search, I thought maybe it was because of the voiceover accessibility because I am slowly visually impaired… But that is not the case because it works the same way all my other devices and I have five of them! Even after turning off the voiceover accessibility I still have the same problem with the search engine! I am experiencing these issues with my iPad Pro 12. Nine first generation, please fix ASAP!

I’ve been having a fine experience with this app as it far surpasses watching videos on safari however, in the past few days of use I’ve found a very annoying persistent bug. I’ll start watching a video and a couple seconds after turning to landscape mode the video will freeze while the audio keeps playing and will soft lock my phone. Only after reorienting back to portrait mode and pressing the home button multiple times am I able to find myself on the home screen of iOS. I can then go back into the app and continue watching where I left off with the video playback remaining fine. I’m not sure what has changed as I’ve never experienced this before but now it seems that every video I watch I need to go through this process to enjoy my content. Very disappointing.

I don’t know if this is just my phone, granted it’s a brand new iPhone 8, but every time I go in to my playlist of the music I listen to something gets messed up. I open up the playlist and all but three videos say they may be inappropriate and removes them from the over view when you first open the playlist. Then I go into the playlist to listen to it and I can see the spots where the videos would be but it just says “this video may be inappropriate”, I can listen to it and see the video but it won’t function as a normal playlist. This has happened to all my playlists and it is really bothering me. The songs aren’t even bad songs, some are by Pentatonix and there is one by Charlie Puth and two by Gabbie Hanna and one by Sam Smith. Please fix this URGENTLY.
Search filters don’t work

Generally pretty good, but I think there’s a problem with the search filters...I’ll click on the search window, then type what I’m searching for, hit search....then realize that I want to search for videos of a certain criteria(ie longer than 20 minutes). So I go to the little filter button and click on the long duration option and then there’s no confirm button...so I’ll click off of the filter menu(making it go away) and then hit search again but the same results show up...the search filter functionality is either broken or I’m doing something wrong. If I’m doing something wrong, then I think the app is not set up in a clear manner. Otherwise it’s great!

The app is complete garbage as of now and you're making updates to remove videos in the playlist through swiping them? Are you completely oblivious to what is happening in your app? The quality select is terrible because when I want to select the best quality, I have to click on it a couple of times before I get the quality that I want. Then there is the comment section which instead of crashing the app, it now freezes the screen to where you can't pause the video or exit the comments that you're looking at so then I have to reload the video or exit the app. Next time, you need to focus on fixing the problems with your application instead of creating unnecessary features that add nothing to app. These problems should have at least been addressed and you should get on top of fixing it immediately!

I practically live on this app, though I only watch other people and I’m cheap, sorry. Lol. Anyway, lately everything on the app is taking long to load, like a good five-ten minutes. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and than didn’t work. I thought it was my wi-fi at first, but it showed sometimes turning that off wouldn’t help either, if it was at all the times that I tried. This also happened on my iPad when I tried there. Maybe it’s just the day, hour, weather, my location, idk, forgive me for not knowing the technicalities of how an app works or if an area effects it’s performance. It hardly ever did this before though. Hopefully you guys can figure it out. Thanks.

This app spent 21.1 of the last 24 hours doing some kind of mysterious “background activity” that drained most of my battery. This is a regular occurrence for it. I’m not sure how it did this or what the 🤬 it was doing since I disallowed background app refresh and it doesn’t even let anything play in the background if you want it to. Plus, no picture in picture support? A nonstandard interface where the video controls block you from seeing the video and you can’t control the volume on the screen? No ability to specify that you always want 1080p and not the blocky 240 it defaults to? No handoff support so I can continue watching a video on a different device? Seriously? Weak. The worst thing is that you’re pretty much forced to use this app because they actively block you from making videos full screen on their web interface specifically on iPads.

I love the app and have been using it ever since I got my iPhone 7 plus and I've had no issues. Until now. After doing the update yesterday, for some reason it's making it very harder for me to watch a video. Say for instance I just started a music video, it will play for about 10-30 seconds, before it magically turns to the next video on my upcoming. This has been happening with every video and live steam I've been trying to watch. It's actually getting very inconvenient for my viewing. I would then have to open and reopen the video at least 3 times before I cab watch the entire thing. With adds in between. I still really enjoy the app, but I hope this will be fixed soon.

I absolutely love using the app, it’s probably one of my most used ones. However, after the latest update for the different generations of IPads, I noticed that sometimes I couldn’t switch from one video to another after it finishes, or even before. Usually what happens is the app just freezes and leaves only the video running, but when you try to stop it, you find you don’t have the option to do that, either, because the screen is frozen, so you have to constantly restart the app after watching one or two videos. If this issue could be addressed and taken care of in a later update, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for reading!

Two updates ago it was working perfectly, now I can't comment or it messes everything up and the keyboard stays during the video, some videos don't play at all, and the major I have with the new update is now when I speed up a video (no matter what times 1.25, 1.5, or 2.0) it buffers like there's no tomorrow. When I used to speed it up it was perfect and so graceful now this app has turned into a mess. I love this app it's the main one I use please fix these errors, your people aren't happy with your app and if people aren't happy they won't use it and you won't earn money, that seems to be what all you guys care about. Please fix it, (but when you guys are fixing it please don't mess something else up) (please focus on fixing the speed up one, it's the most important in my opinion)

Hi, I use this app pretty much all the time and I very much like the improvements they’ve made over the last few years like the double tap to scroll back and forth and the ability to search for more content while a video continues. But as of right now my app was recently updated and it’s horrible. When I search things I am not able to see ANY results as videos. They’re just blocks of color and nothing else. I’m playing a guessing game as to what I’m about to watch. Also, when an ad interrupts a video; which I obviously already don’t like but I get that it’s needed to make money and that’s fine, it will straight up switch to a different video after it’s over. LIKE WHAT THE HECK!! Idk y’all gotta fix this

The app works well, but I have a glitch on my phone that is seriously annoying. Whenever I watch a video, within two minutes, the image freezes but the audio continues in the background. This happened for a while and I tried everything to fix it. At first I just closed the app and restarted and it started working, but the problem came up again. It happened like once every 2-3 videos. Now it happens EVERY single video. Sometimes, even if I click a new video, the previously frozen image shows but with the new video’s audio. It’s ridiculously annoying. I thought my phone might’ve been slowing down so I cleared up the RAM. I deleted and reinstalled the app. I tried everything and it still happens. I would really appreciate a patch for this soon.

I’ve come to terms with a lot of things, but I think that this one is just a little too weird for me personally. Whenever I open the app for the first time, it goes smoothly, but once I exit it and remove it from running in the background, and get back into it; it has a different UI when it comes to minimizing videos and watching videos on playlist. I know this is probably a cosmetic thing, but I prefer the usually look, and the problem is I don’t know how to do it. The only way I can turn it back to normal is by deleting and reinstalling the app, which takes too much time. Please get back to me. That’s the only problem I’ve had, personally.

Update: Way to go! If you comment, now the X button to close out of a comment refreshes the comments and wont let you out so you have to close the video to get back to the comments section. I swear literally every time there's an update for this app, they fix something, but then they add another problem. I just got a brand new phone so I know it wasn't my old phone as the issue for sure on this one. When I lock my phone, all of a sudden the video will be at the correct time , but yet it will be playing either a part earlier or later in the video. Why is it so hard to make this app decent? If the scripting is that bad, then rebuild it from the ground up.

I can’t remember when it first started, but, when I am watching a video and tap on it, it sometimes has this translucent image of the play or pause buttons and it completely freezes my phone. I try to hit the home button, the screen stays the same. I hit the power button it did the same thing. However, I am able to click on things while the screen is frozen. For example, if I paused the video and the screen froze, I could then click where the play button for the video should be and it would start to play the video but you couldn’t see what was going on. The issue usually resolves itself within in 30 seconds, but, it is a real inconvenience.

I love this app and use it almost everyday. One problem I’ve come across is that my video randomly pauses or crashes. This happens especially when I get notifications from other apps. It gets very annoying if your friends are blowing up your phone 24/7 and you are just trying to watch how to get that perfect French braid. Please fix this ASAP I’ve been dealing with this for probably almost two weeks and since it’s the holiday season, my friends keep blowing up my phone when I’m just trying to watch some asmr to relax. For some reason after the newest update of December, there have been a lot of bugs lately. First of all when you exit the full screen, it doesn’t work and you have to quit the app to fix it. Next, if you exit to the recommendations list while playing the video, the tiny screen ends up in the middle of the screen, obviously not where it’s supposed to be since you could see a tiny white strip in the middle of the screen. Next, if you try to change the quality of the video, the choices somehow switch to the opposite side of where it’s supposed to be. Finally, there are just way too many crashes happening randomly. I don’t know if it’s because my phone can’t handle the new update or if I need to upgrade my phone but it is a real pain.

The app is nice to have but misses a lot of features, like viewing options, the ability to go back sometimes, community tab, and critical features like being able to actually use search results - you can see them but can’t watch them. I love that you can go forward or back in 10 second intervals by tapping the left or right sides of the video, but if you accidentally tap forward or back (next or previous video) you get an ad right away and then another when you go back to the video you were watching. There are way more ads on the mobile app than on desktop browser viewing. Just use chrome instead of the app.
Crackling sound

So this problem just started occurring about 2 days ago. But every time I watch a video there’s a crackling sound, like my speakers pop.. it doesn’t do it during the ads. Just the video. It’s not my speakers on my phone because when I play other audio out of my phone it sounds fine.. I tried restarting my phone, deleting the app, and everything else I can think of. But it still has a popping sound when I watch videos. I don’t know if this is YouTube’s fault or not, but I have a iPhone 8+ so I don’t think it’s my phone. So please fix this issue as it only happens when I play the audio out of my speakers and not through headphones.

I’ve had no problems with buffering recently however I find that the screen has become sensitive in respond to scrolling and always clicks on a video when I’m trying to go down my time line. Also whenever I exit a video and go back to the one I was watching because of this incident happening, the video restarts although I’m not even halfway through it. It’d be nice to pick up where I left instead of having to go through the entire thing to find the time stamp. When I minimize a video it no longer shows the screen but the screen with the title added and makes it harder to exit the video because you have to press the X rather than just swiping it off the screen. I’d prefer just the compressed video rather than the added title...

This app is horrible😡. It always kicks me out of the app. And then it freezes and it shows up random ads... then when I didn’t even click on a video it brings me there. Then it shows inappropriate and creepy ads and I am ten. Then the quality of the video is great but then I randomly starts pixelating. When I make the video bigger then when I want to make it smaller (hard to explain) but it doesn’t let me make it smaller or when I want to get out of the video it just doesn’t let me get out of it. Also when you put it on auto play it just show the video and you have to press the play button it doesn’t automatically do it for you. If you made it to the end... This new update is garbage man the app crashes every few hours and sometimes won't play any videos consistently saying that something went wrong or when you click on a video sometimes it will play but the sound will glitch and sound like a mash of on constant noise. Leaving the app doesn't fix it and completely shutting it down doesn't ether something really needs to be done or something because this is ridiculous, it's always something with each new update I mean seriously has google ever heard of the term "if it ain't broke don't fix it" well now you broke it so please fix it properly and then don't fix again unless it absolutely needs it like it does now or at least do some extensive testing before releasing it. Thank you

So I’ve been using this app for a long time now and my experience has been pretty well. But the TV connection thing is the feature that I’ve never liked due to some *embarrassing* experiences. Please do something about it, like: 1. Once you click it, can you make an “are you sure?” thing, like you have 10 seconds before it streams on the TV 2. Move it somewhere else that it would be impossible to accidentally click it, like settings Please do something about this. I’m tired of accidentally clicking it and me getting these terrible experiences. I hope you understand.

When writing comments, and then editing those comments for spelling issues or arrangement. Youtude obviously wants its viewers to ALWAYs SEE its advertisements instead of what you’re trying to do in the comment field. The comment field is literally 1 inch tall with tiny fonts. The keyboard is huge & The screen viewing area - even while focused on the comment section is still Enormous and takes up most of the screen. The comment field is literally the smallest area of the screen while trying to type a comment. It is completely moronic. I would suggest using your desktop PC or Mac if you’re planning on doing ANY commenting. The app makes commenting extremely frustrating. Thanks for reading

I’ve learned my lesson: if I need to search for ANY video, I now do it via a search engine, NOT YouTube. Because if I look up a ~single~ oddball video on YouTube, then every other video in my feed will be comprised of instances of that single video. Way to mess up a (formerly) great app. But, there’s a bright side - I don’t have to bother downloading the Bethel TV app on my iPhone. Because my feed is almost TOTALLY comprised of Bethel TV videos, with a few other like-minded individuals thrown in.

Ok so youtube has been great and never crashes, but I just updated it recently and the second I try to play a video the entire app crashes. I've refreshed the app and my phone multiple times and it's still not fixed. When I open the app back up again after it crashes, it says "youtube crashed" and then gives me a little box to click to go back to my video. When I hit the box, the app crashes again.

Using the mobile web version is much better: What if I want to watch more than one video from the suggested videos? On web I could just open a new tab, or even watch one video and then go back - but I can't do that with the app! If I see two videos I want to watch in the suggestion list, well, too bad for the second video, won't find it again - I have a more enjoyable time using a web browser

I’ve had issues where my videos will speed up and I have no way of slowing them down. I’ve tried lowering the quality but it still maintains the same speed. The videos will start alright and then like 2 mins into it, if that, it will speed up and become inaudible.

YouTube is popular to those around. I think the computer version is better than the mobile ones, but I am posting this through my tablet. I still own a computer, though. I loved to watch those videos and listen to cool songs. I usually watches the videos when I get bored. By the way, the only way that annoys me is the long loading screens. I think it is because of low Internet or slow connection. I still liked to watch stuff by my favorite youtubers or about my loved games.

I love this app so much and I am pretty much on it 24/7 but there are some things that need fixed. The most annoying of the problems in my opinion is that when I’m watching a video that is half an hour or more, about halfway through the video keeps playing but the audio restarts. It just does it by its self even if I don’t touch it or anything. To make it worse no matter how many times I restart the video or forward it to the end and then restart or even exit out of the app IT CONTINUES TO DO IT IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT. It’s suuuuuuper and I wanna know if anyone else has this problem because so far everyone that I know hasn’t.

Hi. Most of the time that I am on my phone is spent in the YouTube app. Recently, however, there was a stability update, which has (ironically) made the app crash all the time. I would experience a crash once every month, if not less often. But ever since the most recent update, the app will crash every five minutes. Loading an ad - crash. Loading auto play - crash. Loading the next video in a playlist - crash. Loading a YouTube Red popup - crash. It's very annoying and I wish I hadn't updated. I'm using older hardware (specifically the cyan iPod 5) but it's still within the app's requirements. Needless to say, I am eagerly awaiting the next update.

Added recommendations on the page you’re watching a video is unnecessary. You already have recommendations on the landing page. The new shrinking the video size after the video stops is also annoying when you are using a big phone and have to reach so far up to shrink the video. Recent updates seem unnecessary and make the experience poor

When I click on a video to watch it, the video starts normally but the audio plays twice and make it all out of sync. I need to rewind the video a couples seconds to make time audio sync with the video. This bug is in most of the videos and I don’t experience this in the browser version of YouTube.

It’s a great app overall only a few things I’d change and they’re mostly just annoying petty things like the pull down menu and the layout. It’s a way better alternative to going to the website on safari and I would definitely recommend it!

Videos pause every time I get notifications. Really annoying when I’m enjoying a video or song and the video pauses. A cool feature to add would be an “up next” feature so we can add videos to it and they can automatically play but only if we put them in the “up next” queue. Sometimes I want to watch a video but then I see another one I want to watch after it and another one too, so this feature would help out so I can watch all the videos I wanted to see and not forget about them.

One of the recent updates made it so you can't shuffle playlists from within a video anymore, and if you shuffle from the playlist's page, it doesn't continue shuffling after the first song. It's really annoying if you listen to music on youtube regularly, especially since the website still does this right.

I love YouTube and I use it a lot! It’s amazing, but recently ONLY after the newest update, it’s been doing a glitch where when I turn my phone/tablet sideways to watch, or back to its normal right side up position, it will stop the video. It’s not that big of a problem, but it’s a little annoying. Please fix soon! Thanks!

I love this app, but there is one horrible bug that is causing me to only rate it 3 stars. I have to delete and re-download this app every day, or every time i exit out of the app. No video will load if I don’t reinstall it. I’ve dealt with this bug for 4 or 5 months now, but it’s really starting to annoy me. It’s just a pain deleting and reinstalling the app every time i want to watch a video. Please fix this!

Hello. I have a little problem here... I absolutely love this app, and I've never had a problem using it. But, after update 13.01, the app immediately crashes a split second after I click on a video, going black and redirected me to the home screen. It's never done this before. Every once in a while Youtube will decide that it doesn’t want to work and can take upwards of 10 minutes loading a video. Of course no one is that patient so they might be disappointed to know that this loading time can actually freeze the phone too. Very annoying.

YouTube, I don't know how common this is, but I am on iOS and every time I click on a video it crashes. If I delete the app and re download it, it works until I close out of the app. The next time I get back in the app, it will crash when I click on a video.

Not a bad app by any means. I think that $10 a month for the red subscription is not worth it. That is a service that should be about $5. It’s still annoying that the app doesn’t have a landscape mode built into the UI.

I have an IPhone 7 and every time I open up YouTube and select ANYTHING, vids, featured videos, history, and so on and so forth, the app crashes. The only thing I can do is uninstall and reinstall and just pray that it doesn't crash until I've finished what I'm doing. THIS RUINS THE APP, PLEASE FIX IMMEDIATELY. Seriously, fix this. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 6 times now.

I see ‘issues’ that some complain about regarding bugs, etc. This app is the best despite a few glitches - it works perfect 90% of the time- and it’s magic wasn’t even around a decade or so ago! If people are saddened by the few minor ‘glitches’, maybe they should go back to MTV and VH1. But seriously, $13.00 a month for unlimited viewing and the ability to work on other apps- or just turn the screen off and keep music playing to conserve battery life- is priceless - despite the occasional ‘bug’.

I use this app all the time and for the most part it works really well! The videos load up fairly quickly and they can be watched without any trouble when watching in a high resolution. And in its simplest form, that’s it! It works well! However, there are some bugs and some flaws that need to be fixed. While the videos are watchable, at times it will freeze and the app will just crash. This can get really annoying when you’re watching something and then all of a sudden it just crashes on you. Thankfully, once you head back into the app, it will let you start off from where you were. But there is one last flaw that really should be fixed, connecting to the TV. While videos do work well on the TV, half of the time I’ll be watching a video, and then all of a sudden I may accidentally tap the icon to connect to the TV and then it will just connect. You can exit out of it, but sometimes I won’t notice and it will connect to my TV without me even knowing. And I feel like when you tap on the icon, it should say “Are you sure that you want to connect to this TV?” And then you could either tap Yes or No, instead of it just automatically connecting with very little time to cancel the operation. Other than these though, the app isn’t all that bad and I would recommend it, as long as the flaws don’t mess with your time watching videos, then it is a passable app.

I think I MIGHT have watched a gaming livestream ONCE. Now YouTube's algorithms seem to think that gaming livestreams are my favorite thing in the world. It doesn't matter how many times I click "not interested" to remove them from my feed, every time I refresh I have 10-12 new GTA V, World of Warcraft, and other random gaming livestreams in my feed. If I click the "tell us why" option, I have three options: already watched the video; don't like the video; not interested in the channel. Any of those options only seem to suggest to the algorithm that I just want to watch gaming livestreams from a DIFFERENT channel. No. I. Do. Not. Want. To. Watch. ANY. Gaming. Livestreams. If I ever decide that I do, I know how to type, "please show me a gaming livestream from some random person I don't care about" in the search bar. The video feed is already weak and biased towards view numbers on this app. But the constant livestreams in my feed that I couldn't possibly care less about have found a way to make it even worse. How about putting some content from channels I actually subscribe to in my feed? Crazy, I know. I mean, literally every other video in my feed is a GTA V livestream. I don't see how it benefits your business model to constantly "suggest" videos I have absolutely NO intention of watching or generating ad revenue for.

Alright, I'm giving this four stars I would've put five but these two bugs have bin going on for awhile and it's annoying me. 1.when I'm watching I video I want to get out of full screen and all of a sudden it switches me back into full screen and it wouldn't let me leave it this has been going far to long and it's getting annoying 2.Now this one hasn't been going for a long time but this is getting in my nerves when I type a comment on a video and then I think to myself *nah I shouldn't type that* so I tap the screen to get out of the comment and it shows the keyboard this is confusing the way I'm typing this but let me explain for people reading, for iPhones, iPads and tablets you have to tap on your screen to get out of your comment but of course people may have done that by mistake and then they have to type it all again so it tells *do you want discard your comment or keep typing* simple but NOW when I want to get out of the comment the thing shows BUT MY KEYBOARD DOESNT DISAPPEAR AMD IT BLOCKS THE *do you want to discard the comment or keep typing* SO THEM I HAVE TO GET OUT OF THE APP SO I CAN WATCH A DIFFERENT VIDEO THIS IS SUPER ANNOYING

When sorting/filtering search results, the check mark doesn’t show up so it doesn’t work!! Been like this for weeks. WHY DOESN'T THE IPAD APP SUPPORT PICTURE IN PICTURE MODE?! Although I wouldn't be able to live without YouYube, this update has made everything you do take longer and harder and be more complex. First, the comments have not been improved whatsoever (that was my #1 complaint from last time). They still haven't given back any of the functionality we had a few months ago. Next, the entire app seems pretty laggy, but espicially the comments section, which takes FOREVER for animations to occur and load. My last few complaints include (1) the speed of the previews of the videos loading on the home page. When you are scroll down, even if it's very slowly, you will notice that the videos don't load until you see them, so they'll be gray for the first .5-1 sec. It is very annoying for your eyes to see this, but you'll have to experience it in person to feel the full effect of frustration. (2) they've taken away the ability to slide between your home, hot, and subscriptions pages and they've put them all at the bottom. 👎👎 (3) The ram management is still terrible. (4) The entire UI is just clunky and gross and a major downdate, if you will, from last time... So... DO NOT UPDATE!

I love watching family vloggers and even listening to music! But there are some issues I’m running into here’s #1. The videos load ok at times at other times videos will stop and buffer, sometimes sit and buffer for 2 minuets and then continue playing. #2. At times videos keep switching different quality and won’t stay locked on to the default quality setting which is 1080p but it keeps switching between 144p to 360p then back to 1080p. #3 the app crashes and when it occurs it even causes my whole phone to crash and lock up and not do anything so I press the home button 3 times to gain access to my phone again to close the app completely out and restart it but it doesn’t crash every often it happens maybe every 3 or 4 times I open the app to watch the family vloggers! So all in all, all of these things are annoying and if these things can be fixed I would find it to be better then before! Some will say no it’s your internet, I say explain to me why I’m having these issues with the app and internet if my internet speed is 1 gig per minute!

Years ago i would be able to see 4-5 video thumbnails on my subscription feed. Long ago they’ve blown every thumbnail up and added useless clutter that takes up little space individually but a lot of space together. Now i only see 2-1/2 sub thumbnails every page. At least give us an option to view our sub videos in a list/grid form that isn’t completely cluttered. The bottom bar with “home” “tending” “subs” etc used to be in a slide-from-the-left menu to save screen real estate. Now it’s a near-useless permanent 1cm bar at the bottom of the app. at least the top bar goes into a hidden mode while scrolling down. it seems like every update makes small increments on making the app WORSE. We used to be able to play videos in the background, now you have to pay ~$10 a month for that feature. I also dislike how the “up next”/“related videos” take up about 3 pages under every video meaning you have to scroll far down to get to the comment section. allowing this to be collapsible would help. It’s mind blowing how a company this powerful can’t hire competent developers that can make an app quicker to use rather than having to scroll 3 pages to get to the comments.

Hi lol I’m always writing new reviews bc I just have so many cool ideas in the middle of the night xD Anyways yeah YT is a great app :) so here’s my request: I really think u should make a gimmick of copying and pasting comments :) Because there’s some comments in Spanish and I just want to go to Google Translate and Translate the comment to English to understand what they’re saying plus I’m learning Spanish at this time so this would be a helpful gimmick. Thank you. Edit: ok so the frozen comment section bug hasn’t been happening for a while so I’m guessing they fixed it so ty :) I have a new suggestion that I would LOVE if you’d add. So you know when you reply to a comment it says the name for which person you’re talking to? Well I think you should make the reply name have a kind of “bold” letter because sometimes people have weird usernames and I might get confused with their comment. For the most part, this app works really well, but sometimes after a video ends while I have it on full screen, it freezes and stays black for a few seconds, which is a little odd. The only other problem I have is that when I pause a video to read something and have to tap the vid to get the white pause symbols out of the way, it glitches if I tap it twice too fast and the symbols freeze for a few seconds, which is aggravating and has been happening for a few months now. I’d really appreciate it if you guys could fix these two small issues. Other then that, everything else is great. Update: It doesn’t seem like any of the problems I mentioned have been fixed, as they’re still happening. Please fix those issues. Also, for some reason, this app just now closed on me and my phone turned off and immediately turned back on. I’m assuming it has something to do with the app itself. If so, please fix that problem.

I use this app probably more than any other app on my iPhone. For the most part it’s really great, but not without flaws. Most of the videos displayed in the Home screen no longer show the video length timestamp in the bottom right corner of the thumbnail which is really irritating. It looks like all other views in the app show the timestamp, so hopefully it’s a bug that’s fixed ASAP. A couple random videos in the Home list show the timestamp while the other 95% do not, which makes no sense. Sometimes the video rotation gets stuck in landscape and will not revert back to portrait view, only the opposite landscape view. This has been a problem for a few months now, and the only way to fix it is to force quit the app. This is quite irritating. Finally, a good addition but extremely overdue feature is the ability to sort the Watch Later playlist. FINALLY this utterly BASIC feature exists. I have no idea why the Watch Later playlist worked so differently than regular playlists for so long, but that’s fixed now. The best addition from a few months ago was the feature of double-tapping to rewind and fast forward. Every video player needs this. It’s incredibly user friendly. It’s way better than the rudimentary 15-second skip buttons that many players now have.

The newest update of 2017 December. The video keeps switching to random videos during a video is going on. I cant watch ten seconds of video without it switching to another. So please fix this bug. Also fix your skip button. It’s showing up less and less. And when it does show up it’s for a 15 second video and not a thirty second video. I don’t know how many people have these problems, but it’s important to consider the viewers when you put a video in the link and can’t watch the video they want. I have many other problems to say, but that’s up to the media to explain not mine. ————————————————— This is a day after my complaint. The new new update to fix the switching the video to another video decreased of chance to another video. I don’t know if your still fixing the problem, but don’t rush to fix the problem. I know you do want to keep us satisfied, but rushing to fix problem is going to make it worse. So please fix the problem correctly by not rushing to conclusion of being fixed and being done.

I’ll be watching a video while charging my phone, so I have to turn my phone a specific way to watch in full screen. I’ll turn my phone and it will be UPSIDE DOWN! I try to fix it by exiting the app completely but then it happens again it is extremely irritating because my iPhone needs to charge so if you want me to use your app more often then you need to fix that so I don’t have to take an hour pause to let my phone charge. Other than that I love the app I wish it wouldn’t randomly quit on me mid video also, stop flagging random YouTubers they Are the only reason you are where you are today check if what you are striking then think why you are taking a innocent video down for doing absolutely nothing. This application is absolutely horrible. Even when no videos are displayed on the device, rather the app is used another device such as Roku or Chromecast this app drains the battery like no other! Even with this constant operation, draining the battery, the app often loses the sync with the controlled device. Battery drain continues even if app disconnects from the controller device. Furthermore, when there is a new release with supposedly bug fixes - the description of the fixes is typically an insult to users intelligence, with statements like “make world a better place” or such. Which barely passes as amusing once but is extremely annoying when repeated time after time in different forms. Had the app been developed by anyone smaller than Google (or one of the big 5), it would’ve been kicked out of the App Store. The development team’s level is very poor. But then, being a monopoly Google can get away with anything. Even Apple is afraid to put this substandard and sloppy team in place.

Google's software quality is amazingly bad. For a company that has literally innovated the Internet up to where it is today, they really drop the ball on simple things. Like proper handling of screen rotation. (Has anyone even had this problem in ANY other mobile app? I haven't. Yet it has plagued YT for years.) Or that one bug where video would restart from the beginning while audio kept going. (Thankfully that seems to be fixed now, but it was a problem for way too long.) With the latest update, YT is now able to turn my phone into a hand warmer. 30 min of video drained a quarter of my battery life. Well that's new. I've got to learn not to update this app anymore when I finally run across a version that works. Or, more accurately, when the bugs it has don't affect me enough to care. Get your $@!# together, Google. "It compiles" is not QA.

I like the app it just has a few glitches that need to be fixed. When I start watching a video it takes forever to load than when it starts playing it stops about 10 seconds into the video and it says it’s loading when it’s not. I restart the video a few times and it stops at the same place so I close out of the video and try again. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t so I have to repeat the process multiple times. Another thing is that when there is an add it takes a really long time to load or it doesn’t load. I’m the middle of a video I close out then I have to repeat the process I do at the beginning. Than when it finally starts working correctly I have to find my place and that takes even longer to load. I’ve tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but that doesn’t fix the problem.

Can you please switch to the old card view when you pull down videos to search for others? It used to just fill the bottom right, but now it fills the entire bottom as an elongated card instead of just the video, and it even makes the video part smaller and chops off some of the top and bottom of the video which I dislike. I don’t need to have the whole title down there. Go back to the old style and make the card of variable size depending on the video. I noticed that videos are actually 4:3 or of other lengths when viewing them in portrait mode now, instead of always showing in a 16:9 area with letterboxing. I absolutely love that change and it would be super amazing if you could implement the old pull-down card version with that addition. I really prefer swiping to the left to dismiss those video cards instead of down with the new style as well.

Update causes app to no longer recognize Apple lightening digital a/v adapter. Now my phone will only do screen mirroring (it used to automatically switch it to AirPlay mode), which I personally would not mind, except that for some reason, i can no longer play a playlist if I am using my adapter. The app will play one video and then stop, even though I am supposed to be playing a playlist. I am not talking about auto play. I am referring to a playlist. And auto play does not work with playlists — because it is a playlist. I used to be able to plug in my adapter, shuffle a playlist and go on about my day with my phone playing video after video. Now, I use my adapter and then have to run back to my phone every time a video ends. Not good —not happy. This is not an IOS issue because it was doing this before I updated. In fact, I updated my phone because I thought it would resolve the problem. I keep trying to find solutions, but nothing has corrected something that was not an issue until now.

When I play a video after a few seconds it says “Something went wrong please try again" and that really annoys me because the video starts for the beginning again so if you have any answers please let me know! Over all AMAZING!❤️❤️❤️ Edit: okay there are a lot of bugs in the latest update it keeps saying “something went wrong please try again" and I can't play any video because of that HUGE ANNOYING BUG! The videos don't “stay" I mean that when I leave the page open for a few minutes it just goes away! These bugs really annoy me and I would like you to fix them please...I can't watch my daily videos and it's just annoying! It gets so annoying that I quit watching videos and play boring games! I watched two vine compilations and ONE AlbertsStuff video. Now, my recommendations are piled with dead vines and Roblox videos. There’s not even videos from my subscriptions, which is just dumb, I should say. I always click “I am uninterested” but they never get deleted. Do you people even listen to the reviews? You still have horrible reviews from two years ago. You keep adding new, unnecessary stuff, yet you guys don’t fix the vital issues that were probably there from 2 years ago. I hate to support this app but this is the only video app I prefer to watch from, because it’s the most popular, unfortunately. Don’t expect me to buy any apps or merch from this company until you get more satisfied customers. I only gave you two stars because I feel bad for all of you and your incompetence. Once you fix these stupid bugs I will gladly give you 5 stars. Stop adding unneeded features and LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT GIVE YOU MONEY.
One annoying problem

I don’t write reviews much, but I am extremely upset that the smaller video layout has been changed. You used to be able to swipe down on a video and watch it in a little box while browsing for your next selection. If you didn’t want to watch that video anymore you could just swipe it away. Now you can still swipe down, but the video is about 50% smaller and the rest of the space is taken up by the title of the video (unnecessary because I’m already watching it, I know what it’s called), a play/pause button and an “x”. Instead of allowing the users to just swipe away the video, the developers have decided to take away space from the size of the video to put an “x” that you have to click if you want to exit the video. It’s a waste of space and moved in the wrong direction. I would love it if that was fixed.

You could watch everything that you want to watch on here but there is one thing I want y'all to do I want y'all to make a video for season one two and three of the flash it would be cool if someone could make a video one the seasons of flash I am still trying to catch up on the season I am going to be honest I haven't even finished the second season a true flash fan would be done with the second season but I started watching it about a month ago and I am still not done with the second season but I am on S2 E19 I really need to finish the second season and the third season before they come out with the fourth season or if that is the end of the movie and if a creator of flash is watching this don't stop making flash seasons PLEASE
Great app but problem with sound...

This app overall is a great app but for some reason whenever I go on the app for the first time in a day the sound on every video either is non existent or it's just a buzzing sound, but it's only for the actual video. The ads before the videos still have their regular sound. I've asked my friends if they have the same problem but no one else has a problem with the sound. I have the most recent update of the app and my phone has IOS 10.2 so not the most recent update with my phone but it's done that since before IOS 11.0.1 came out. I don't know if it has to do with my phone or the app because restarting my phone will fix the problem but it's just annoying to have to do it everyday whenever I first get on the app.

I’ve been using this app for years and never really had a problem, other than that they won’t let you play music while your phone isn’t on. But one thing has really been ticking me off, when a video is playing, even when in windowed mode in the corner. It will change the video without you pressing or using the autoplay feature! It really annoying when I’m watching a video when in the middle of a suspenseful part of the video, it will change with no matter what you do! I’ve tried restarting my phone, I’ve tried un and reinstalling, I’ve even thought that my glass screen protector pressing it for me, but It changes when the video is playing at the bottom left of the screen. This app is the best in the App Store, but because of the video problems I can’t give it a full rating...

Let me say this up front, I skip ads and hate products that are in the commercials that WILL play when the content you want to see doesn’t. I actively skip over THE TOILET PAPER(won’t even say the name) IN COMMERCIALS AND ON THE SHELF. I can’t complain about this app on apple products enough. There has always been issues after long play backs over airplay/Apple TV. Now the issues are with every video. If there is a commercial or, if it switches to a new video the connectivity is shaky and will revert the visual back to the device. You then must go and “unsend” from airplay then resend. I usually use it as background noise to get some news while I do projects. The back and forth is ridiculous. The commercials always load on all devices. The companies may think that is good but it really just makes me skip and hate the products, I can’t steer this enough.

Since ios 8 came out, I've only seen one patch from you guys. What are your employees doing all day? Here are a few immediate issues that need fixed asap: 1) When commenting on a vid and the vid ends prior to comment completion, the comment box shrinks up and you have to start all over again. 2) Why is there no edit button once comments are posted from smart phone? 3) The channel switches over to the google account by itself which is an issue all its own but the main frustration is that you can't switch back in the options without having to sign out all together. So either your QC team is filling their time with something other than work, or you allow it and don't care since working on mergers is more important than assuring a quality product. Being so filthy flippin' rich, there is no excuse. Hire Terry Tate and straighten out your office! What are you sitting around for? Get back to work!!
App freezes

I enjoy the experience of being able to watch videos well on my new iPhone, however, there is one drawback that persists to agonize me. This happens to me only when I have the video in landscape. When I pause the video for some time, the app itself will freeze the phone, whereas I must click my power button to make it sleep. I have to press after a certain amount of time after turning off the screen in order for it to pop back up to the way it was. This especially happened when a video ended and autoplay is set to on. I don’t know if it continues when it is off, but it is an annoying bug for me. Just earlier, my phone crashed entirely because of it. Please find a solution, thank you.

I have an iPhone 6plus, and while I get that my device is a bit old and I shouldn't be expecting buttery smooth performance, at the very least I expect the app to be usable, quite frankly the way it is now, it borderline isn't. The scrolling is incredibly bad, and it gets even worse when I have the video window in the corner. I've given up on the comment section because the lag and again terrible scrolling. I literally cannot complete a single task without a stutter or two. And from time to time the app freezes completely forcing me to relaunch it. The quality switcher has become incredibly obnoxious. I have to go and tap the desired quality multiple times just for it to change, Sometimes I just give up and leave it on auto resolution. This is simply not acceptable Ever since YT had a major design change, things have been constantly going down hill with every update, and this was just the cherry on top. At this point your application has no redeeming factors period. These type of problems really have me wondering if your dev team even demo devices before releasing updates. I know I may sound obnoxious, but if this wasn't such an essential app I wouldn't be complaining. YT is easily the worst app I currently have on my phone. Please, please, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaase fix it!

well, I hate to say it but this is my attic complaints… I experience some of the same issues everyone else is talking about in one way or another, the main issue I have though is when I type in a search after all the videos pop up when I try to touch and start the video does not register! It only happens when I type in a search, I thought maybe it was because of the voiceover accessibility because I am slowly visually impaired… But that is not the case because it works the same way all my other devices and I have five of them! Even after turning off the voiceover accessibility I still have the same problem with the search engine! I am experiencing these issues with my iPad Pro 12. Nine first generation, please fix ASAP!

I’ve been having a fine experience with this app as it far surpasses watching videos on safari however, in the past few days of use I’ve found a very annoying persistent bug. I’ll start watching a video and a couple seconds after turning to landscape mode the video will freeze while the audio keeps playing and will soft lock my phone. Only after reorienting back to portrait mode and pressing the home button multiple times am I able to find myself on the home screen of iOS. I can then go back into the app and continue watching where I left off with the video playback remaining fine. I’m not sure what has changed as I’ve never experienced this before but now it seems that every video I watch I need to go through this process to enjoy my content. Very disappointing.

I don’t know if this is just my phone, granted it’s a brand new iPhone 8, but every time I go in to my playlist of the music I listen to something gets messed up. I open up the playlist and all but three videos say they may be inappropriate and removes them from the over view when you first open the playlist. Then I go into the playlist to listen to it and I can see the spots where the videos would be but it just says “this video may be inappropriate”, I can listen to it and see the video but it won’t function as a normal playlist. This has happened to all my playlists and it is really bothering me. The songs aren’t even bad songs, some are by Pentatonix and there is one by Charlie Puth and two by Gabbie Hanna and one by Sam Smith. Please fix this URGENTLY.
Search filters don’t work

Generally pretty good, but I think there’s a problem with the search filters...I’ll click on the search window, then type what I’m searching for, hit search....then realize that I want to search for videos of a certain criteria(ie longer than 20 minutes). So I go to the little filter button and click on the long duration option and then there’s no confirm button...so I’ll click off of the filter menu(making it go away) and then hit search again but the same results show up...the search filter functionality is either broken or I’m doing something wrong. If I’m doing something wrong, then I think the app is not set up in a clear manner. Otherwise it’s great!

The app is complete garbage as of now and you're making updates to remove videos in the playlist through swiping them? Are you completely oblivious to what is happening in your app? The quality select is terrible because when I want to select the best quality, I have to click on it a couple of times before I get the quality that I want. Then there is the comment section which instead of crashing the app, it now freezes the screen to where you can't pause the video or exit the comments that you're looking at so then I have to reload the video or exit the app. Next time, you need to focus on fixing the problems with your application instead of creating unnecessary features that add nothing to app. These problems should have at least been addressed and you should get on top of fixing it immediately!

I practically live on this app, though I only watch other people and I’m cheap, sorry. Lol. Anyway, lately everything on the app is taking long to load, like a good five-ten minutes. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and than didn’t work. I thought it was my wi-fi at first, but it showed sometimes turning that off wouldn’t help either, if it was at all the times that I tried. This also happened on my iPad when I tried there. Maybe it’s just the day, hour, weather, my location, idk, forgive me for not knowing the technicalities of how an app works or if an area effects it’s performance. It hardly ever did this before though. Hopefully you guys can figure it out. Thanks.
Battery hog

This app spent 21.1 of the last 24 hours doing some kind of mysterious “background activity” that drained most of my battery. This is a regular occurrence for it. I’m not sure how it did this or what the 🤬 it was doing since I disallowed background app refresh and it doesn’t even let anything play in the background if you want it to. Plus, no picture in picture support? A nonstandard interface where the video controls block you from seeing the video and you can’t control the volume on the screen? No ability to specify that you always want 1080p and not the blocky 240 it defaults to? No handoff support so I can continue watching a video on a different device? Seriously? Weak. The worst thing is that you’re pretty much forced to use this app because they actively block you from making videos full screen on their web interface specifically on iPads.

I love the app and have been using it ever since I got my iPhone 7 plus and I've had no issues. Until now. After doing the update yesterday, for some reason it's making it very harder for me to watch a video. Say for instance I just started a music video, it will play for about 10-30 seconds, before it magically turns to the next video on my upcoming. This has been happening with every video and live steam I've been trying to watch. It's actually getting very inconvenient for my viewing. I would then have to open and reopen the video at least 3 times before I cab watch the entire thing. With adds in between. I still really enjoy the app, but I hope this will be fixed soon.
Love the App, But Here’s An Issue

I absolutely love using the app, it’s probably one of my most used ones. However, after the latest update for the different generations of IPads, I noticed that sometimes I couldn’t switch from one video to another after it finishes, or even before. Usually what happens is the app just freezes and leaves only the video running, but when you try to stop it, you find you don’t have the option to do that, either, because the screen is frozen, so you have to constantly restart the app after watching one or two videos. If this issue could be addressed and taken care of in a later update, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for reading!

Two updates ago it was working perfectly, now I can't comment or it messes everything up and the keyboard stays during the video, some videos don't play at all, and the major I have with the new update is now when I speed up a video (no matter what times 1.25, 1.5, or 2.0) it buffers like there's no tomorrow. When I used to speed it up it was perfect and so graceful now this app has turned into a mess. I love this app it's the main one I use please fix these errors, your people aren't happy with your app and if people aren't happy they won't use it and you won't earn money, that seems to be what all you guys care about. Please fix it, (but when you guys are fixing it please don't mess something else up) (please focus on fixing the speed up one, it's the most important in my opinion)

Hi, I use this app pretty much all the time and I very much like the improvements they’ve made over the last few years like the double tap to scroll back and forth and the ability to search for more content while a video continues. But as of right now my app was recently updated and it’s horrible. When I search things I am not able to see ANY results as videos. They’re just blocks of color and nothing else. I’m playing a guessing game as to what I’m about to watch. Also, when an ad interrupts a video; which I obviously already don’t like but I get that it’s needed to make money and that’s fine, it will straight up switch to a different video after it’s over. LIKE WHAT THE HECK!! Idk y’all gotta fix this

The app works well, but I have a glitch on my phone that is seriously annoying. Whenever I watch a video, within two minutes, the image freezes but the audio continues in the background. This happened for a while and I tried everything to fix it. At first I just closed the app and restarted and it started working, but the problem came up again. It happened like once every 2-3 videos. Now it happens EVERY single video. Sometimes, even if I click a new video, the previously frozen image shows but with the new video’s audio. It’s ridiculously annoying. I thought my phone might’ve been slowing down so I cleared up the RAM. I deleted and reinstalled the app. I tried everything and it still happens. I would really appreciate a patch for this soon.

I’ve come to terms with a lot of things, but I think that this one is just a little too weird for me personally. Whenever I open the app for the first time, it goes smoothly, but once I exit it and remove it from running in the background, and get back into it; it has a different UI when it comes to minimizing videos and watching videos on playlist. I know this is probably a cosmetic thing, but I prefer the usually look, and the problem is I don’t know how to do it. The only way I can turn it back to normal is by deleting and reinstalling the app, which takes too much time. Please get back to me. That’s the only problem I’ve had, personally.

Update: Way to go! If you comment, now the X button to close out of a comment refreshes the comments and wont let you out so you have to close the video to get back to the comments section. I swear literally every time there's an update for this app, they fix something, but then they add another problem. I just got a brand new phone so I know it wasn't my old phone as the issue for sure on this one. When I lock my phone, all of a sudden the video will be at the correct time , but yet it will be playing either a part earlier or later in the video. Why is it so hard to make this app decent? If the scripting is that bad, then rebuild it from the ground up.
Issue with tapping on a video

I can’t remember when it first started, but, when I am watching a video and tap on it, it sometimes has this translucent image of the play or pause buttons and it completely freezes my phone. I try to hit the home button, the screen stays the same. I hit the power button it did the same thing. However, I am able to click on things while the screen is frozen. For example, if I paused the video and the screen froze, I could then click where the play button for the video should be and it would start to play the video but you couldn’t see what was going on. The issue usually resolves itself within in 30 seconds, but, it is a real inconvenience.

I love this app and use it almost everyday. One problem I’ve come across is that my video randomly pauses or crashes. This happens especially when I get notifications from other apps. It gets very annoying if your friends are blowing up your phone 24/7 and you are just trying to watch how to get that perfect French braid. Please fix this ASAP I’ve been dealing with this for probably almost two weeks and since it’s the holiday season, my friends keep blowing up my phone when I’m just trying to watch some asmr to relax. For some reason after the newest update of December, there have been a lot of bugs lately. First of all when you exit the full screen, it doesn’t work and you have to quit the app to fix it. Next, if you exit to the recommendations list while playing the video, the tiny screen ends up in the middle of the screen, obviously not where it’s supposed to be since you could see a tiny white strip in the middle of the screen. Next, if you try to change the quality of the video, the choices somehow switch to the opposite side of where it’s supposed to be. Finally, there are just way too many crashes happening randomly. I don’t know if it’s because my phone can’t handle the new update or if I need to upgrade my phone but it is a real pain.
Can’t click on Search Results and can’t see community tab

The app is nice to have but misses a lot of features, like viewing options, the ability to go back sometimes, community tab, and critical features like being able to actually use search results - you can see them but can’t watch them. I love that you can go forward or back in 10 second intervals by tapping the left or right sides of the video, but if you accidentally tap forward or back (next or previous video) you get an ad right away and then another when you go back to the video you were watching. There are way more ads on the mobile app than on desktop browser viewing. Just use chrome instead of the app.
Crackling sound

So this problem just started occurring about 2 days ago. But every time I watch a video there’s a crackling sound, like my speakers pop.. it doesn’t do it during the ads. Just the video. It’s not my speakers on my phone because when I play other audio out of my phone it sounds fine.. I tried restarting my phone, deleting the app, and everything else I can think of. But it still has a popping sound when I watch videos. I don’t know if this is YouTube’s fault or not, but I have a iPhone 8+ so I don’t think it’s my phone. So please fix this issue as it only happens when I play the audio out of my speakers and not through headphones.

I’ve had no problems with buffering recently however I find that the screen has become sensitive in respond to scrolling and always clicks on a video when I’m trying to go down my time line. Also whenever I exit a video and go back to the one I was watching because of this incident happening, the video restarts although I’m not even halfway through it. It’d be nice to pick up where I left instead of having to go through the entire thing to find the time stamp. When I minimize a video it no longer shows the screen but the screen with the title added and makes it harder to exit the video because you have to press the X rather than just swiping it off the screen. I’d prefer just the compressed video rather than the added title...

This app is horrible😡. It always kicks me out of the app. And then it freezes and it shows up random ads... then when I didn’t even click on a video it brings me there. Then it shows inappropriate and creepy ads and I am ten. Then the quality of the video is great but then I randomly starts pixelating. When I make the video bigger then when I want to make it smaller (hard to explain) but it doesn’t let me make it smaller or when I want to get out of the video it just doesn’t let me get out of it. Also when you put it on auto play it just show the video and you have to press the play button it doesn’t automatically do it for you. If you made it to the end... This new update is garbage man the app crashes every few hours and sometimes won't play any videos consistently saying that something went wrong or when you click on a video sometimes it will play but the sound will glitch and sound like a mash of on constant noise. Leaving the app doesn't fix it and completely shutting it down doesn't ether something really needs to be done or something because this is ridiculous, it's always something with each new update I mean seriously has google ever heard of the term "if it ain't broke don't fix it" well now you broke it so please fix it properly and then don't fix again unless it absolutely needs it like it does now or at least do some extensive testing before releasing it. Thank you

So I’ve been using this app for a long time now and my experience has been pretty well. But the TV connection thing is the feature that I’ve never liked due to some *embarrassing* experiences. Please do something about it, like: 1. Once you click it, can you make an “are you sure?” thing, like you have 10 seconds before it streams on the TV 2. Move it somewhere else that it would be impossible to accidentally click it, like settings Please do something about this. I’m tired of accidentally clicking it and me getting these terrible experiences. I hope you understand.
