Text verification code hasn’t been received, and when I request a phone call instead, it keeps telling me my code has expired. Now I can’t even get a text or call to verify my number. I give up.

So my friend booked the other day and noticed that an “OLA AMSTERDAM” ride was taken out of her account shortly after. She is not in Amsterdam & they took her details to book a ride on another account and also booked a hotel. The story was so far fetched that I didn’t believe it - but today I didn’t even book a ride , I just checked the price and almost completed Apple Pay (my card details aren’t stored in the app) , someone got my details and booked a ride on another Ola account in the same place (Amsterdam). Please delete this app!
Unreliable, long wait times and inaccurate rates

Don’t bother with this app, just book an Uber. I ordered an Ola only to see him drive past me and keep driving 15 minutes to the next suburb where he made a 5 minute stop and then drove back to come get me. I tried calling him and asking him to cancel as I did not want to pay the cancellation fee while he ran his little “errand”. He did not respond so I waited and arrived at my destination almost an hour past when I wanted to be there. Whenever I get charged at the end, it always more than the original fare (ends up being more than the Uber rate as well). I’ve had so many drivers cancel. It’s just a very unprofessional service that must not teach its drivers to do their own things on their own times and not while they are working. Another driver was parked for 10 minutes before he started driving to my location and when I called him, he had his voicemail set up as “hello? Hello?.....hello? I cannot hear you right now”. How dodgey is that? I’m reading past reviews and a lot are saying what bad service they have and how it’s not worth your time but they are still giving them a 5 star rating? Seems fishy to me but either way book an Uber.

When booking cap from abroad for someone in India . I noticed that when do a scheduled reservation the time entered is the time I require the cab in india but when I finish my reservation the cab is reserved for an entirely different time. You might wanna look into it . Oh by the way , I am unable to call love cabs everytime I do that I get an error “technical error occurred “ . Not sure if service is down or the app is down . And it’s so tough to contact customer care . Can’t find the number on the app .

Referral code discounts don’t work, their own frequently-sent “winter is here, take 15% off” discounts don’t work, customer service is impossible to deal with, and the service is way more expensive than competitors. Deleting the app.

App is not secure and account was compromised. It’s been over six weeks of dealing with customer service for being charged for a ride I didn’t take. They reply with the same excuse over and over saying they will refund charges, but don’t, then saying they can’t refund one way back and forth with no resolution. Customer service is simply the worst I’ve ever experienced. Awful.

My sister is 9 month pregnant we booked a ola cab. Then driver says I can’t come to a hospital and we are not going ride for an emergency case . And he said only 2 people should travel and there are no instructions which are mentioned like that in the app

App never worked. Stuck on an error page and was unable to access support. I had to contact them via twitter since in app support was not functional. They were very unhelpful and after 3 weeks just deleted the app. Don’t bother.

Took a ride to the airport. Inexperienced driver deliberately drove below limit while there was no traffic on the road and had never been to the airport before. Driver ended the ride several mins after we exited the vehicle. Customer service was useless. Refund of .75p. Thanks Ola.

Ola services have frequently accepted the Customer trip but fail to provide service. Yet it charges for cancellation , even as customer keeps requesting for service and driver refuses the service after first accepting. In such cases Ola does not communicates. The last such case was on 14/03/2020.

They charged me £6 in London after I canceled the order, Why I canceled?! Because the driver was stop didn’t move in somewhere far!! I wait long time while he still there stop not driving. I am receiving push notification ads despite the fact that the “Promotional messages Stay informed of the latest discounts, offers and news from Ola.” setting is disabled. Uninstalling and sticking with Uber. At least they are honest about pricing and respect my privacy

Couple of bad experiences . Both times , I cancelled in time . You charged me RS 50 once and 250 another time . I stopped using ola though as Indian I want to encourage indian businesses . Using u for the simple reason , u hv ola rental and Uber does not have .

It is A very funny app.They are operated by Indians thus you should know what it will be. Google shows a 24 7 customer call number, when you call it , invalid. They mailed me to pay due before 24 feb, but they block my account on 21 feb. No wonder Indians achieved nothing. They deserve 0 star.

I booked Ola cab for a ride later on two different occasions. Both times the cab failed to arrive and there was no intimidation from Ola that it would not arrive. Put me to great inconvenience as I was almost going to miss my flights.

This was my first ride so I will not comment. But it seems like OLA rerouted for the same location for a new passenger because of share ride. I would request if driver left the location then it’s better if you receive any passenger on the same route not too far from the actual location

In app travel rent for 8 hrs/ 80 km showing as 2414 but I ended up paying 4410, almost double the amount for 6 hours with delay in cab & also vehicle got puncture mid way on return. It’s a complete cheating. Driver say due to express way this bill while extra I paid 300 for toll plaza & 100 for lunch for driver. Horrible. You people are looting customer like anything.

Average experience + ve has many options of rides including auto rickshaw at cheaper rates Ride price differences are not much of you don’t use the app. (Local fares) Has average accuracy of gps given poor gps system in india and lacking accuracy but double verifications synchronized with ur mobile number to avoid misuses Agree has drivers misuse the app with cancellation for invalid reasons and to make more money other means some of which are inevitable ( May need stronger rules for canceling a ride from drivers)

I have been using Ola for the past 5 years and today I have deleted my Ola account and installed UBER right away. Previously before introducing Ola postpaid when there is no enough money in my Ola wallet, i used to pay the remaining in cash to the driver. Recently about three months back i used ola and there was no enough money in my wallet and hence i paid the entire amount in cash to the driver which costed Rs. 310. (Also to add on many drivers in ola will not accept our ride if we tell them we are paying money through ola wallet). After few days i kept getting call for ola due. When i checked my ola app i came to know that the money is debited from postpaid as well. I called customer care and reported this issue, but its of no use. They asked me to pay the due. And now i paid extra 310+100 late fee which i did not even owe ola... This is cheating.. Such a bad customer service.. I dont know why the people in customer service department are working if they cant help their customers. I spoke with them for more than half and hour but its of no use.If you guys kept on cheating your customers like this soon you will end up with nothing.. Whose-ever is reading this review.. !!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM OLA!!!!!!!!!!!

I stopped using Ola for this. I can support while analysing the root cause. One booking costs minimum 15% battery. Repayment of Ola postpaid costs 5% battery. Other Apps are as expected including Rapido.

I cancelled the ride as the driver was too late and didn’t respond when I call him multiple times. But the cancellation charges applied. This is not fare. And also the Enroute to the cab in the app is not showing exact location of the cab. This happening all the times. The location of the vehicle is keep rotating around the initial location and my pickup location. This confuses the customer to know the location of vehicles.

I was visiting India from USA fo a medical emergency. Considering, it was Indian in original and local I started using Ola, though their response time was faster than Ubar locally. But the had very bad response at the Airports or when latency of commuted/ displayed time as compared to actual Time of pickup. Sometimes I had to wait almost 45 minutes when time committed time was 17 minutes. Secondly the conditions of the car are worse both outside and inside. Battered outside dirty and torn seats even when I always ordered premier Sedans. Lastly on premier cars the drivers refused or reluctantly turned the AC, I had to explain to the most of the time it run on Battery and does not effect your fuel consumption unless you are speeding when the AC is on. Surprisingly I never had any such issues with UBER only problem was was the availability. But given it is better to wait that get than all the uncertainty of OLO. Thanks I hope you will make the improvements.

I’m New Yorker and I’m advising you to welcome to NY app base company. Here a little difficult to get the market but I’m pretty sure the way you running in India. If you do so here, you can beat Uber. TL&C is your best way to build your base. Just give them some water.

Reactivating my ola money wallet

I have money in my wallet which is deactivated due to less usage. When I tried to reactivate it I was asked to complete KYC. I have uploaded all the documents and final verification is pending. I am directed to do it with the driver but he doesn’t know what to do. Then I requested for a visit but you didn’t have that facility in my city. My money is still with you and you are reminding me of invalidation. Is it justice? Do whatever is possible from your end to solve the issue.

On Dec. 26, 2019 I booked Ola cab around 8am. An ola driver accepted but never arrived even after half an hour. He wouldn’t cancel and I couldn’t book again unless I cancelled and I would be charged a penalty. This is the 2nd time this has happened. First time, the company charged me Rs. 57 for no fault of mine and again the same thing happened on 26th. On previous rides with ola I have had unpleasant experience with ola drivers. Only couple of drivers have been good. In my opinion, ola is totally undependable.

Extremely frustrated with this app. I left an item in the car on a ride, entirely my fault. There’s a button to submit a “left item in car” issue. The app tells me that I missed a call from the driver, but I had the phone open in my hand the whole time and it never rang. I checked that my number is correct. I submitted a help ticket, and nobody has gotten back to me in days. When I call, it tells me to submit a help ticket and then hangs up on me. It’s now been four days and nobody has even told me if they found the item or not. They clearly don’t care.

Hi I have traveled from Richmond circle to hebbal.Actually it takes 35 min ride, but the ride went around 85 minutes to drop the location. If you thought about traffic it wound take 60 minutes. Your have guys improve the app in such way that way the you have to drop the customer as soon as possible they is flaw in your application.You have to improve a lot.I won’t recommend old ride share

I like the easy search in the app. I think it can be improved to help users that are not proficient in English. I feel like having a drop off pin point would be helpful for users to book a ride. As of now, there is a green pin that can moved around to set the pick up location. Similarly a different pin (may be red) can be used to set the destination location. At the end it will easy for the users to understand I.e. green is where you start and red is the location you will reach.

If I could give zero stars I would. I never leave reviews like this but I have been trying to use ola off and on for the last 2 months. It is the glitchiest app I have ever tried to use. They finally fixed the issue where you could not contact the driver but now on multiple occasions I have booked a ride waited 10-15 minutes only to contact the driver and have them tell me my ride is not showing up on their phone. They instruct me to cancel my ride and start over only when I do the price goes up from around $20 to $50 or higher. Today was the last straw I am now over 15 minutes late to work, deleting ola and only using Uber.

I booked the cab thru ola..it was showing wait time for 10 mins..driver called me multiple times asking destination and fare details and every time he confirmed he will be coming in 5 mins..but after 25 mins he cancelled and on top of that OLA charged 50 rs as a fine on me..

Please reconsider and use another shared ride app. Terrible service from start to finish plus we were charged a huge bill because the driver got lost! We had to help find the way to the airport and we were tourists. Save yourself the headaches and use another ride share.

The app asks to clear pending balance(cancellation fee) before proceeding to book ride. That’s totally fine but, the iPhone app doesn’t have card payment ability... and it’s preselecting “cash”. Now, how do I pay ola in cash ? Thereby, unable to proceed. This is a clear oversight from your product team. Disappointed!

On a recent cash ride, the app would not give an estimate of fare prior to ride, and driver had no idea of final fare either. Even though fare was fair and reasonable, this was a little uncomfortable for me.

This app is horrible. I was traveling internationally in AUS and used my paypal to link my payments. Everything was fine until the day I left where I did 2 rides and I got an email like normal about the charge but then also the following day about the same amount being taken out AGAIN. I reached out to customer service and they asked for information which I gave to which they responded they still need the information and they closed to ticket. They charged me twice for two different rides and did absolutely nothing to solve it. All they want is money and their customer support is shady.

This morning I scheduled a pickup from hotel to airport at 4:00 am for my 6:30 flight. The driver was assigned 10 mins before the scheduled pickup and the driver was insistent in calling me to find out where I was going and just 2 mins before the scheduled time he cancelled because he was going to the airport. The fare was 700 The app was supposed to reassign and send someone in the scheduled time but to my surprise the app cancelled the full trip and rebook I had to rebook another cab luckily unlike in Bangalore waiting time usually is 30 min this time I got a cab within 10 min. The fare I got was 737 inclusive of everything The driver started from my hotel with in 2 mins he said he had a flat tire and will take 5 mins to fix but then I realised he did not have the necessary jack to fix the puncture tire At 4:20 in the morning there were no one and used archaic way of lining up stones and fixing the tire When I reached the airport I was in for a surprise to find my fare was 200 more than what I booked and the driver drove pretty rashly to get to the airport Overall nightmare hope Ola take action

Don’t bother with this app, just book an Uber. I ordered an Ola only to see him drive past me and keep driving 15 minutes to the next suburb where he made a 5 minute stop and then drove back to come get me. I tried calling him and asking him to cancel as I did not want to pay the cancellation fee while he ran his little “errand”. He did not respond so I waited and arrived at my destination almost an hour past when I wanted to be there. Whenever I get charged at the end, it always more than the original fare (ends up being more than the Uber rate as well). I’ve had so many drivers cancel. It’s just a very unprofessional service that must not teach its drivers to do their own things on their own times and not while they are working. Another driver was parked for 10 minutes before he started driving to my location and when I called him, he had his voicemail set up as “hello? Hello?.....hello? I cannot hear you right now”. How dodgey is that? I’m reading past reviews and a lot are saying what bad service they have and how it’s not worth your time but they are still giving them a 5 star rating? Seems fishy to me but either way book an Uber.

I use travel between states, choosen olacab for local rides , my experience overall out 6 cases 4 cases were not good. 1. Driver asked for extra money to take me right destination as driver says gps shows dropping point but for me that’s not correct dropping point. Need more accuracy on GPS locating within the cites like Chennai.. 2. Driver not interested to take me destination due to heavy traffic expected and driver wants me pay in advance don’t know why.. 3. Again GPS pickup location showing inaccurate to driver but I keep calling to driver to come to a location I wanted as i am not familiar with stations to go the location driver wanted.. 4. Driver asked me give 5 start without giving me satisfactory ride which is not right ask. Overall it really needs grooming wrt drivers, Ola gps location accuracy, customer delightment. Otherwise this is great service spreading fast within cities and hope it gets spread wider in India..

I was visiting India from USA fo a medical emergency. Considering, it was Indian in original and local I started using Ola, though their response time was faster than Ubar locally. But the had very bad response at the Airports or when latency of commuted/ displayed time as compared to actual Time of pickup. Sometimes I had to wait almost 45 minutes when time committed time was 17 minutes. Secondly the conditions of the car are worse both outside and inside. Battered outside dirty and torn seats even when I always ordered premier Sedans. Lastly on premier cars the drivers refused or reluctantly turned the AC, I had to explain to the most of the time it run on Battery and does not effect your fuel consumption unless you are speeding when the AC is on. Surprisingly I never had any such issues with UBER only problem was was the availability. But given it is better to wait that get than all the uncertainty of OLO. Thanks I hope you will make the improvements.

I’ve been using this app in India and drivers can take you the long way to bump up the cost of the fare. The fare the app shows at the beginning of the ride is just an estimate and then the app recalculates at the end. I just had one very bad experience where my driver 1) admitted to me that he hadn’t had his driver license for the one year required by Ola so he was driving a car registered under a friend who did, 2) made me pay 50 rupees extra on the spot for the airport parking but when I got the emailed receipt, that should have been included in the total fare, and 3) the driver asked me (solo female) all kinds of uncomfortable questions about my personal life (like whether I had sex with my boyfriend and then made comments about how beautiful I was) and no matter how I tried to change the subject, kept returning the topic to sex. I felt so uncomfortable that I unbuckled my seatbelt in case I needed to jump out of the car.

Took 1.5 rides with Ola in Australia — from Sydney airport, and back. But on the way back it logged me out if my account and wouldn’t let me log back in. I just kept getting a pop-up to contact support. Well, once I still couldn’t log on upon landing in Melbourne, I did. I got a response asking for my IMEI number, gave it, and ... silence. After a few days I emailed again to open a new ticket, including the IMEI up front this time, and ... silence. Did the same and opened a third ticket ... silence. Finally started tweeting at them, super responsive until I actually gave them my info to look up my account/tickets, at which point they just tell you to please give their “concerned team” a bit more time and then just leave you on read. Followed up on the emailed tickets again last night and finally got a response ... asking for my IMEI number. Yes, for real. I’m leaving Australia tomorrow so at this point wish they would just delete all my data. Thank god I could at least unlink Ola from my payment source on PayPal’s side or I wpuld have been really screwed. Wish I read the reviews on Trustpilot too and not just here, before getting into this mess. They tell the honest story. It’s the kind of cluster that gives us Indians a bad name — it’s why, as an Indian American, if I had known this was an Indian co, I’d have known to avoid in the first place.

Many a times got canceled after assuring it will come in few minutes. If we cancel as it is very much delayed you change cancellation charges but when you do why you do not give credit to our money paid as cancellation charges. Besides no response recd for my complaint made few weeks back about rude behaviour of driver. This upsets everyone & now in two minds why I should use OLA? Hope you will respond at least for this.

I love the Ola app. I’m an Indian American (NRI). I use this app when I come to India every year. It’s cheap, convenient, and safe. This year when I came to New Delhi India in 2019, I tried to book an Ola to get to my hotel, but the driver said that they weren’t allowed to go to the airport and said that I will have to walk all the way to the “Ola stand” which I had no clue where was. I didn’t want to step outside the airport because once I walk out then I won’t be able to go back in and would have to stand out in the heat. Finally, I had to cancel the ride and book a local taxi which was quite unfortunate. Other than the Airport pickup I highly recommend the Ola App because the drivers are nice, polite and they know their way around the cities.

Recently I travelled to India and thought of trying Ola instead of Uber as many suggested that you have more options in Ola. So booked the trip from MUMBAI to Shirdi for full size SUV. Got text with driver details and PIn. Driver called me and somehow while calling he cancelled the trip. He pretended that some app issue caused it and then suggested that he can still take me directly and I can pay him the same fare which was quoted by Ola. Understood the trick of the cab driver to save on Ol commission. For safety reason I refused the offer. Now what Ola applies 150 INR as cancellation fee and when I try to contest it through support, app just displays the last ride and doesn’t give me any option to contest this fee ( compared to Uber which keeps it simple) After that I tried again to book Ola for a long trip from Banglore to Mysuru but Ola app returned error because ask for previous 150 INR to be paid and didn’t give any option to contest or pay this amount. So through my trip, I booked over 20 long trips using Uber which was seamless. This was all loss to Ola because of poor app interface and some sort of collusion with drivers to pay them cancellation fee even if they cancel the trip. So I am done with Ola and removing it from my phone.
OLA Outstation - Would not recommend

I made a day outstation trip to Pondicherry in which the driver was driving erratically, over speed limit and frequently going a bit too far to the wrong side of the road. We felt like we are going to hit the incoming traffic on a divided highway and were sitting scared. As expected, we hit an oncoming bus and only alive and writing this due to God’s Grace. The driver dumped us in the middle of nowhere and fled. We took the help of locals to find another ride. And to our surprise we found the driver waiting near our hotel demanding his cash due. Talking to OLA, I was even surprised that they justified the speed and driving on the wrong side. They said there will be an investigation but so far no follow ups ! Thanking God again for the fact that we were saved. Based on the driving and response time of the driver we suspect he was not sober.

The cab service is nice on a normal day. But on a weekend or a festival day it is very tough to get the service and price becomes very high. Also price varies depending on the traffic. Sometimes the estimated price and the bill amount are not the same, and is slightly higher than the estimated one. Some drivers surpass the toll. Some drivers cancel it by themselves and put the blame on the customers. The Ola map route is sometimes not the shortest route, and gets delayed because of that. It is always better to check the price for all the cab services like auto, mini, etc since sometimes based on the demand for the cab service, the price is less for prime and more for micro.

This is my first App review! I am writing one because I am so frustrated with the Ola app. I live in the US, I am visiting India. I decided to install the App as a back up to Uber. I recently bought an iPhone X. The app asked me for my phone number which I entered. There is no place to enter Login and password!! The next screen is OTP. I received and entered the OTP no problem. The next screen is full name and email. I get an error message stating the email is already in use. I may have used the app when I was in India 5 years ago! But there is no login option. Each OTP message costs 35 cents on the international at&t plan. After multiple tries by multiple people - none of us can figure out how to make the login option appear! Looks like a bug in the software. Ola app such a waste of time...
Crisis Nightmare, Glitchy App, Terrible Customer Service and No Accountability

I have had several terrible experiences with the technological insufficiency of this app and associated employees of the company, but it reached a true impetus today when the app did not end my trip well after I was dropped off. The driver, who I contacted, was also unable to end the trip and sadly unable to pick up further customers. Upon reaching out to customer service several times to no avail, I was being charged hundreds of dollars per hour and left helpless with no tangible solution. Six hours into my desperation I was answered with a generic response blaming the driver of all people and no apology. Suffice it to say, I will never use this app again and do not feel comfortable even knowing that they have had my financial information at any point.

I like the easy search in the app. I think it can be improved to help users that are not proficient in English. I feel like having a drop off pin point would be helpful for users to book a ride. As of now, there is a green pin that can moved around to set the pick up location. Similarly a different pin (may be red) can be used to set the destination location. At the end it will easy for the users to understand I.e. green is where you start and red is the location you will reach.

I was extremely satisfied with OLA in the past. In the recent times drivers are calling and asking destination and canceling the bookings. Appreciate if drivers are also informed of the destination and only after their consent the booking is shared with customer. Else it is upsetting schedules and cancellations are happening even after waiting. This inconvenience is happening even for scheduled trips. After duly waiting I am forced to check alternate options

If I could give zero stars I would. I never leave reviews like this but I have been trying to use ola off and on for the last 2 months. It is the glitchiest app I have ever tried to use. They finally fixed the issue where you could not contact the driver but now on multiple occasions I have booked a ride waited 10-15 minutes only to contact the driver and have them tell me my ride is not showing up on their phone. They instruct me to cancel my ride and start over only when I do the price goes up from around $20 to $50 or higher. Today was the last straw I am now over 15 minutes late to work, deleting ola and only using Uber.

The app often hangs on my iPhone 7+. It shows 1 min when I open the app however after booking, the cab takes ages to reach me. Even after selecting the pick up point multiple times, when I book, the pick up point is sometimes taken as something else altogether! I cancel it and try to rebook, the app hangs! When I have some important appointment, Ola is not at all the app to trust and depend upon!

Better than dealing with independent auto drivers, BUT lots of issues lately especially wrong drivers showing up for the ride. Just the past two weeks I have experienced at least 8 wrong drivers showing up. When speaking with support they are giving suggestions that do not work. They also avoid giving an answer for why the problem of wrong drivers is happening. Still, it’s better than dealing with the cheats who charge foreigners double. Grateful for a set price.

We may get into issues with early morning airport rides. Often drivers can’t show up and can cancel the rides as per their whims and fancy. Or they can call you after an hour and blame it on you. Bikers not providing helmets for the passengers especially in Hyderabad. On the flip side some drivers are really nice and some others get scared to receive a poor rating or compliant. So ola seems to have control on their drivers. All in all a good service with reasonable pricing.

Ola services are definitely appreciable and it is very easy to get a Cab without any trouble or wasting time. But regular customers like me showing extra charges like 1.25 times to 1.50 times to actual charge during needy times is a very unhappy thing and not correct . Apart from giving some offers and encouragement to the users like us , creating difficulty showing high fare should be avoided. This is my sincere request.

Only one drawback is. It’s more costly than Uber. If I see Split fare. There are many bad charges. You Must just charge 10 rupee per km flat. Traffic is not in control of customer ok so you have to consider it if you want to run on road. So no extra charges will make your business much better. When it comes to charges Uber is most of time Cheaper. Still I Love Ola. Many thanks and Appreciate awesome service.

I took my first trip with Ola. Because it was my first trip it gave me a discount and the final payment was 20 AUD but when I checked my bank account another 14 AUD was on pending alongside the other $20 which had already been deducted!!! Moreover, I was really disappointed by the hidden fees they had applied on the bill. Another thing was that I decided to change the destination during the trip. It changed without any problem but it didn’t show me how much more would be added to my bill and this is ridiculous!!!maybe I go back on my decision if I see it isn’t worth it.

When booking cap from abroad for someone in India . I noticed that when do a scheduled reservation the time entered is the time I require the cab in india but when I finish my reservation the cab is reserved for an entirely different time. You might wanna look into it . Oh by the way , I am unable to call love cabs everytime I do that I get an error “technical error occurred “ . Not sure if service is down or the app is down . And it’s so tough to contact customer care . Can’t find the number on the app .

Extremely frustrated with this app. I left an item in the car on a ride, entirely my fault. There’s a button to submit a “left item in car” issue. The app tells me that I missed a call from the driver, but I had the phone open in my hand the whole time and it never rang. I checked that my number is correct. I submitted a help ticket, and nobody has gotten back to me in days. When I call, it tells me to submit a help ticket and then hangs up on me. It’s now been four days and nobody has even told me if they found the item or not. They clearly don’t care.

Some times I get Ola drivers who drive in night and also take booking of 8 - 12 hours booking next day morning and are exhausted with pain often stop by to take medicine which becomes dangerous for passengers and other drivers in road, some kinds of checking is needed to ensure safety.

In general I find Ola to be below average product in terms of drivers, professionalism, comfort, and most importantly reliability. While making a booking, the app always shows availability of cab within next two three minutes, but I always end up waiting more than 10 minutes. Many times, drivers are either completely rude with no manner of talking, or would cancel the booking without even giving a justification. I normally use Ola for share rides. Despite giving accurate pick and drop points, I am never dropped at my company gate which is on the main road - Ola’s logic is since it is shared drive, I will have to take some pain of not hiring a full fledged car. This is one of the lamest thing a company can do to its customers and one of the major reason why I prefer Uber over Ola. My two stars are for the convenience this app has provided despite being a substandard product.

So my friend booked the other day and noticed that an “OLA AMSTERDAM” ride was taken out of her account shortly after. She is not in Amsterdam & they took her details to book a ride on another account and also booked a hotel. The story was so far fetched that I didn’t believe it - but today I didn’t even book a ride , I just checked the price and almost completed Apple Pay (my card details aren’t stored in the app) , someone got my details and booked a ride on another Ola account in the same place (Amsterdam). Please delete this app!

My phone was a total disaster and I had no way of using Uber or Lyft and I was a little worried about the touts outside of Chennai Airport. I stepped out thinking of booking a Taxi and getting mentally ready to haggle. Then I saw OLA cabs desk out there and it was as a very simple transaction with very reasonable price with good cab ride. I am now a permanent customer of Ola.

Ola always charges me for cancellation fee even if driver denied to come or due to their technical error. Many a times for me trip will be scheduled but driver will deny or trip will be cancelled. In that as a customer we are supposed to get additional support but rather we end up in paying cancellation fee. Worst design !!

1. Location accuracy needs immense improvement. ( when I am in some new place where I don’t know the local streets, the ola Map doesn’t pick up the phone location correctly) 2. The Ola GPS is not updated with the road signals. (There are some roads where right turn left turns are prohibited since last 7/8 years but Ola GPS always confuses the driver on wheels) 3. Ola cabs numbers are not sufficient to meet the demand, sometimes the waiting goes up-to 15 min.

Twice I have wanted to contact ola regards a ride. And not to complain. But I can find no way to do so and wonder what would happen if I did have a complaint. This is typical of the gig community, get your money/ clicks/ eyeballs but don’t provide real customer service. And oh, if you just arrived in India and don’t have an Indian phone # yet, forget about using ola. Just had that problem and even the helpful ola rep at BLR couldn’t help me. So I took a very satisfactory traditional cab.

someone have multiple tasks so in the destination spaces if customers want it should be filled by cab drivers as we want to visit multiple places in one ride if in destination column customer by mistake fill same place as pickup and destination then you should warn customers and that should not be considered as paid ride

I cancelled the ride as the driver was too late and didn’t respond when I call him multiple times. But the cancellation charges applied. This is not fare. And also the Enroute to the cab in the app is not showing exact location of the cab. This happening all the times. The location of the vehicle is keep rotating around the initial location and my pickup location. This confuses the customer to know the location of vehicles.

This was my first ride so I will not comment. But it seems like OLA rerouted for the same location for a new passenger because of share ride. I would request if driver left the location then it’s better if you receive any passenger on the same route not too far from the actual location

If I could give it lower than a one star rating.. I would, I literally got through setting it up and it said it was unable to connect to service right off the bat. Then I tried logging in the next day after refreshing all of my networks, and it said my app was blocked because this device was thought to be fraudulent. The people who designed this application really need to do some intense work, I’m a software developer myself and this entire application is unacceptable.

Ola has consistently provided unreliable drivers and zero support. There have been three instances now where a driver has called me, refused to come to my pickup location, made me walk 10+ minutes to find them, and then cancelled. When I attempt to report this on the app, it always fails. I’d love to use an app other than uber but honestly I’d rather pay twice the amount for a ride I know will arrive than continue to use this service. Not worth it.

On Dec. 26, 2019 I booked Ola cab around 8am. An ola driver accepted but never arrived even after half an hour. He wouldn’t cancel and I couldn’t book again unless I cancelled and I would be charged a penalty. This is the 2nd time this has happened. First time, the company charged me Rs. 57 for no fault of mine and again the same thing happened on 26th. On previous rides with ola I have had unpleasant experience with ola drivers. Only couple of drivers have been good. In my opinion, ola is totally undependable.

Driver came on location (Hadapsar, Pune) and denied to go after he confirmed on the drop location(Kharadi) telling that he is not going that way. He was rude, taken pic of driver and his car. Need to know what action have been taken on him. He was very impolite. I called support and they told me that complaint is registered. Need to know what actions taken for him.
Solid app

The Ola app is solid. Suggestion: Add the ability to enter multiple destinations. Comments: (1) Every now and then the app briefly shows my location in Bengaluru, India. I am located in Perth, Australia; (2) I have experienced several Ola bookings where drivers drive in the wrong direction and then cancel trips after 5-10 minutes.
Poorly supported

The app is hard to navigate and poorly supported- I could not contact Ola through it after an issue and was incorrectly charged a fee. The help/ support section leads to error notifications. The drivers seem to have trouble closing/ ending the rides on the app. I used the app for one day!- and had so many issues with it that I’ve decided to stick to uber instead which is more customer friendly and has better tech support
Overseas Credit Cards Not Accepted in Australia

I was all signed up, everything looked fine until I tried to book a car. Accepted by booking and I was told there was a problem with my credit card: there wasn’t. Anyway, I changed to another credit card, with the same result. Caught another ride share instead, with no credit card problem. Went to dinner, used the second credit card- again, no problem. Unreliable.
Lousy app lousy service

Used app to schedule an outstation cab a day in advance. Was told that ride was scheduled and would get ride details an hour prior departure. The ride never showed up. There was no notification that the ride may be canceled. No email or text or notification even after the ride never showed up. No contact number provided for questions or customer service. Links to FAQs non functional. Maybe it works better for local services.
TERRIBLE customer support for their mistake

I was charged an additional $38 because my driver failed to stop the riding time for a 20 minute ride and made it nearly a 2 hour ride. I’m not mad about that (mistakes happen), but the Ola app does NOT let you use any dispute claim (contrary to what they advertise), you can’t even call their customer support number listed on the website, and when I emailed them outlining the problem, they refunded me THREE dollars. DON’T use this app, it’s trash and I’m done with it.

2 days I tried to book a cab and the driver canceled it day one I wanted to go to mall the cab was selected after waiting for 20 min the ride was canceled this happened twice had to take an auto. Day two wanted to travel to airport though should give a try again and booked an xl drive same two of them canceled after making me wait for half hour then download Uber and 10 Min awesome the cab was there very humble and professional. Ola should change the name to l*w ola
