Description
The wonder weeks worldwide bestselling baby app is a personalized weekly calendar of your baby’s mental development that will keep you informed about the leaps and bounds and the fussy phases of your baby. THE BEST APP AROUND THE GLOBE ============================= • Awarded Coolest App for Moms • Awarded by Apple as top 10 ‘Best of the year 2016’ in Australia, UK, Netherlands, and a great number of other countries. • Consumer Choice & Gold Award by MumIi • AppRx Awards Top 10 Children’s Health App • NHS (UK) – Best App for parents listing. • Best App Ever Wards 2013 & 2014 (Health & Fitness) • Top 25 App in health & fitness is most countries around the world. KEY FEATURES ============================= Keep track of your baby’s mental development Learn all about the leaps and bounds and the fussy phases of your baby Read the bestselling wonder weeks book here in this app Take notes about a range of topics Think of it as a portable, at-a-glance version of the calendar leap chart in The wonder weeks. Where the book describes in-depth and easy-to-understand terms the incredible developmental changes your baby goes through, the app is the perfect leap calendar companion to track your baby’s mental development (during the first 20 months).
By knowing what is going on inside the head of your baby, you can help him to make the leap more easily and stimulate his development. The wonder weeks app helps new parents by:

 - Calendar Showing when your baby makes a leap in his mental development
 - What your baby can understand & learn after this mental leap
 - What your baby can do after this leap
 - What you can do to help your baby

This app is also a handy reminder for new parents when their baby’s brain is changing, or “leaping,” the baby is making a significant advance in mental development, and with each step forward comes a drastic change in the way your baby sees the world around him. Because these leaps come so quickly, the “new world” and new abilities can sometimes be scary, and the development can initially manifest in poor sleep, bad appetite, crying, clinging and crankiness – exhausting and frustrating mom and dad.
International experts on The wonder weeks:
“This is a very practical and entertaining window into the baby’s first year and a half. van de Rijt and Plooij have observed and found the vulnerable times in an infant’s development that I independently came to in my book Touchpoints (Perseus Books Group). The authors’ observations and practical suggestions are wonderful.”
-T. Berry Brazelton, M.D., professor emeritus, Harvard Medical School

"Anyone who deals with infants and young children will want to read The wonder weeks. This book will open parents' eyes to aspects of their children's growth, development, changing behavior, and emotional responsiveness that they might otherwise not notice or find puzzling and distressing."
-Catherine Snow, Ph.D., Shattuck Professor of Education, Harvard Graduate School of Education

Won’t update
by my2pirates on 2019/02/13 10:53
There is a new version that wants you to pay more money and now this app will not update. Not happy at all. I paid for an app that won’t work now.
Don’t bother - read book instead
by mama_dre on 2019/02/11 05:14
App is full of summaries - not worth $3 in my option. Let the full book instead.
Confusing and poorly written.
by Rachelle D5000 on 2019/02/09 17:29
I regret spending money on it. I think that if the developers spent more time making it more user friendly, and also not having these giant chunks of information rather than having easier to read, short paragraphs, it would be greatly improved .
Was awesome until recent update
by Rockywind14 on 2019/02/07 12:57
Like most other reviews, I LOVED this app until the last update which requires you to pay for full summaries. These full summaries used to be included with the price of the app; however, now the developers seemed to change it to find ways to make more money by asking you to buy the ebook or audiobook for the full summary. I used to give it 5 stars, but now I want my money back after this change. :( Update - the developers have replied to my request denying any changes occurred even after I provided them evidence of paid content previously being removed. Poor customer service.
An Essential Baby App
by Rater4 on 2019/01/25 04:41
Especially when the child is your first, like ours, this little app is like having a pocket manual for your baby. It is especially useful when little one becomes inexplicably fussier. Why? Well, according to the Wonder Weeks (which is based on evidence-based medical science), this is usually because your child is going through one of the many ‘leaps’ of childhood. The app was incredibly accurate in predicting when (indicated by a rain cloud icon) our sweet one suddenly because much more sour. Knowing this was itself helpful since parents armed with this knowledge can fortify their emotional defenses in preparation. While some baby apps are fun - but do little in the way of informing parents - The Wonder Weeks stands out as the rare outlier which both satisfies our curiosity while respecting that our time for doing so is quite limited after baby’s arrival. I highly recommend it.
Not worth it
by LS763 on 2019/01/22 08:48
The only thing you will use in this app is the calendar and you can make one yourself if you really want to. The home page information is confusing because it tells you briefly about the upcoming leap but somehow by the end of the blurb you realize it’s talking about the last leap. You have to go into the “all leaps” section each time to read about the one that’s coming but even that is annoying because they are labeled by the number of weeks your kid will be at he end of it. I just want to read about the 5th leap not the Leap of the 26th week. Besides my kid is not going through these on time anyway so it’s not even relevant. Oh yeah and the videos don’t work.
Hidden Costs
by Moostng on 2019/01/14 13:33
You buy the app for the information but then have to buy the chapters too. Same the money - and just buy the book if interested. Kind of an expensive app for additional purchases. There is some interesting information but I’d rather put my $2.99 towards a fuller information source.
Makes parenting so much easier!
by Erin Coster on 2019/01/13 19:35
It’s so much easier for me to handle my fussy baby when I know why he’s fussy. There’s not always a lot that I can do about it, but it gives me a little added patience knowing he’s going through a huge chunk of development and that’s the reason for his behavior. I can’t say enough good things about this app!
Good App, pointless if reading the book
by princesskiersten on 2019/01/02 05:17
The app itself is pretty good, but it lacked a lot of information. I found that I don’t use it and don’t get any new info out of it since I have the book. If I didn’t have the book the app would be fine. I wish the info in the app was either additional info to the book or more practical. I feel like I wasted my money on the app.
Don’t get this app
by mom osebest on 2018/12/25 15:56
This app is very generic. I would like more information about the phases. But then again every child is so different and subject to variable behaviors depending on teeth, illness, etc. I regret buying it.
Spot on!
by Starlett06 on 2018/12/18 22:04
This app helps SO MUCH when your baby is growing! They have tips and tricks and tell you when the stormy periods are coming. It helps me have a better understanding of what my baby needs.
SO helpful
by one huge fan on 2018/12/17 18:05
This is 1000% worth it. Helping us understand better what our littles ones need and love on them!
LOVE!
by Dj8710563 on 2018/12/17 04:17
I am so glad I got this app. This is my first baby and I have no idea what to expect and what is normal. This app prepares me and gives me so much information on what to expect before it happens so that I can understand my baby and care for her appropriately according to what she’s feeling. I love it! It definitely helps me feel like a better mama!
Best app ever
by Jesolgat on 2018/12/16 01:58
All parents need this app!! It helps you navigate through the fussy times & makes you really understand what’s going on with your little one. Love this app, 100000% recommend for everyone!

This app helped my wife and I get a better understanding of what was happening and what to expect! They were spot on every time !
Definitely not worth it
by Alizajs on 2018/12/10 12:05
You can find the information this app gives you on free ones just the same. The “fussy periods” are estimated and in general, off. I just wouldn’t waste the money. Not worth it for what you get. There’s also nowhere to chart things. Definitely needs improvement. I hate that I bought it because now I don’t want to delete it from my phone...
Amazing
by lululove143 on 2018/12/09 22:43
The wonderweeks is SPOT ON!
Great guide to parenting
by Glens with on 2018/12/09 14:20
It might sound strange, but this app helps us understand just how to love our kids best. We used it with our first and were sad when there were no more leap/development overviews and tips after 18 months. We currently have a newborn and are glad to have this as a guide to best care for our new baby. LOVE!
Great for first time moms!
by Iwishicouldfindagoodfontapp on 2018/12/07 02:25
I love being able to read about the development of my little one and knowing what to expect when she’s going through mental changes. It really helps me cater to her needs more.
Great!
by kennedyblair on 2018/12/04 17:26
My baby is 5 months and we’ve had this app since about 2 months and it has been right on track just about every time with my little one! Great insight.
Self fulfilling prophecy
by Bguggles on 2018/12/03 02:08
Dates didn’t match to fussy times at all and nobody has ever been able to scientifically replicate the fussy stages at the same times. The app also doesn’t let you rate it anything but 5 stars. The fact that I had to go through the App Store to leave an honest review lost them another star. The only semi reliable information is understanding what your child may be learning next and I did enjoy that part.
On point
by Seriously❓ on 2018/12/02 19:00
My daughter has hit every fussy stage almost to the day. It makes me feel so much better since she’s my first that I don’t have to rush her to the doctors every time she’s cranky because the app explains that it’s her cognitive leaps or learning separation anxiety or just moodiness so it’s such a weight off and I can see when it ends too! It gives me a light at the end of the tunnel. This app has been absolutely wonderful. I’m just sad I didn’t have it from the day I brought her home!
Doesn’t work
by tinky865 on 2018/12/01 18:36
This app is interesting but just after my sons 4th leap, he is more fussy. It’s completely inaccurate.
Great App for New Parents
by kaschmitt15 on 2018/12/01 12:23
I have followed the Wonder Weeks (book and app) for both of my kiddos. It has been really helpful in letting me know what skills they are working on and activities/games to help engage them. The leap alarm has also been a handy feature. The Wonder Weeks give awesome insight about baby brain development, skill acquisition, and the not so fun behavior that accompanies each. I would recommend purchasing the book, as it has a lot of extra information that the app does not.
Wow
by ndiyahakes on 2018/11/28 03:23
Eerily accurate!!
Not accurate for my little one
by rvnpuffjmprn on 2018/11/26 17:26
App was disappointing for me as my little one doesn’t follow this leap pattern. I put in his due date not birthdate as instructed. He is 6 1/2 weeks old and per the description of leaps has already completed the first three leaps, which the third leap states is at 11 1/2 - 12 1/2 weeks. This app was a waste of $ for me. Babies are all unique and develop differently so don’t treat this app has the true and final say of how your baby should be progressing. Wish it was accurate would’ve been nice to predict his “fussy” periods.
Only until 24 months
by vanyainr on 2018/11/23 01:30
I bought the app believing the descriptions that it includes up to 36months, with disappointment I found out it is only until 24months - information I don’t need.
Not so helpful.
by Sagitta1211 on 2018/11/22 05:36
On my third child, I hoped to be able to see more fussy periods before they came but this app didn’t help with that. My baby wasn’t a preemie and after six months, I never seemed to have any good information from this app that helped me with my baby. A few tips for playing games at age appropriate stages was helpful so I gave a star for that. The app works, for the exception of not getting the notifications despite settings. Too bad. I wanted it to be helpful.

Repetitive info
by mgm817mgm on 2018/11/15 01:33
The info repeats itself. Not as helpful as I’d like.
Spot on!
by spazzkajazz on 2018/11/09 19:26
I love that the app let’s you know about various stages of development from a scientific viewpoint. It alerts you to times when your child will experience ‘sensitivity’ to the changes around them due to brain development that potentially will cause fussiness.
Very vague...
by kamalina (;* on 2018/11/09 14:12
This app is very vague and so simple yet complicated. It doesn’t explain how to use it, let alone how to read the calendar. And I’m able to understand in depth you have to purchase the book. Personally I would say it wasn’t worth the $2.99 to download.
Lifesaver
by Lilliana's Mama on 2018/11/08 18:45
Every time i feel like i do not understand my baby it what is going on with her, i open wonder weeks. And it is always when she is near or in a leap. So much insight! I love it. This is a very helpful tool for understanding my baby, and what is changing in her world.
Videos are on YouTube
by nlovexo on 2018/11/06 17:55
Beware: the videos available to view on this app are the same videos on YouTube - The wonder weeks. I’m pretty disappointed as I was eager to gain more information. Spare your $3 and just look on the YouTube app.
Very helpful
by Jenacorrine23 on 2018/11/06 06:34
This app is pretty great. And has been very accurate with the calendar and also development. Well worth the 2.99$.
Love this app!
by KS8181 on 2018/11/05 17:09
This app is a total game changer!! I love this app! So far it has been spot on with everything. It makes it a little easier to deal with the cranky/fussy times when you can read the reasoning behind it. Definitely a must for any mom!!
Saved my life and sanity
by air418 on 2018/11/02 18:11
This app wonder years recommend to all moms first or second child .... it helps you understand child gives you heads up for every phase/ leap so you won’t go insane when baby is fussy screaming and inconsolable at certain times. I found it around 4 months and wish I know about it from birth. ! The apps is better than any class for birth and baby classes could ever teach you !!! I wish someone would have given me this at my baby shower !! So so valuable. Don’t waste another minute and download it even if still pregnant it will save your sanity. !!!
The most accurate I have found!!
by Tina-Louise Wallace on 2018/11/02 00:28
I have to say, I rarely will spend anything for an app and this one was referred to me by a child specialist. So I purchased it after I had my last daughter. It was so accurate with mood changes, etc. it was unbelievable!! I also bought the book but I have to admit I haven’t read it yet. Now we had a boy and it is truly amazing, we were just saying how our son is looking at us differently, today was his first real smile and then I open the app and sure enough, he’s in his first leap!! He was premature so I do go by his due date, and I couldn’t be more pleased!! Thank you!!
Very accurate
by bellsjax daisy on 2018/10/29 00:58
The stages the baby will go through is very accurate. We used this app with our first baby, she is 3 now. I just added our new baby’s profile and love this app.
Not accurate
by motherofmoons on 2018/10/27 20:45
This app was such a waste of money! It is not accurate at all.
Not For Me
by Bethb525 on 2018/10/27 11:16
Eh, I’m sure this app is great for parents whose babies were born on or around their due date, but my daughter was born 7 weeks early. The app says to still use her due date to calculate the leaps, but she is far beyond leap one (which she should technically be in now), but I don’t feel that she is quite to leap 4 yet either (which is where she should be based on her birth date). Due to this, this app isn’t very helpful to me.

This is awesome. The information is helping me be more empathetic with my little one.
Great!
by NKS821 on 2018/10/25 18:19
We used this app with our son back in 2015 and now use it again with our newborn. We recommend it to everyone we know as it’s been SO helpful and spot on (although we typically find our kids go by birthdate not due date). It’s always reassuring to know that there is a reason for the fussiness and, most importantly, that this too shall pass!
Spot on!
by kristen trean on 2018/10/25 16:14
This app is so spot on! I recommend it to every new mom. Totally worth paying for!
Run of the mill
by Jangdan on 2018/10/23 10:39
I find this app just ok after people raves about it! Just generic info that puts all babies in one category and not accurate. Babies are not one size fits all.... not worth $2.99
Thumbs up!
by lavishglavish on 2018/10/22 19:38
Love this app! As a first time mom, it helps me know what is going on with my baby. If he is acting fussy or seems not like himself, I know this app will give me all the information to calm me down and let me get a vibe of what he is going through and what to expect. Worth the money!
Wonder App!
by Jilstur on 2018/10/22 08:49
I am so glad I spent the $3 on this app. It helps you understand what your baby is going through at certain weeks and days which I believe has made me more patient.
Love it

So on point with everything that’s happening to my little one!
Love this app!

This has been so accurate and helpful. My baby is 12 weeks and this has been a lifesaver!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
by Lauren C E on 2018/10/20 08:06
We found it very informative as to when our daughter would be going through fussy stages. The App outlines new leaps babies go through and the comparable guide to cognitive and physical abilities that are a part of the stage. So far, it’s spot on with our little one! Great app. I would highly recommend to anyone with a newborn. My sis in law recommended my husband and me to buy!
Disappointed
by Brit-nic on 2018/10/19 16:09
When I first had my daughter everyone raved about this app so I gave in and got it. I followed the directions and went off babies due date and not birthday. Well so far every single leap has been off. We have been through 3 leaps so far and every time she has had them at the time that would line up with her birthdate and NOT her due date. The more I have spoken with other moms of early babies they have told me their little ones didn’t match up either. I still keep the app to see what the next leap includes but I take the predictions on cloudy and sunny days with a huge grain of salt.
Couldn’t do without it!
by mountain_mama on 2018/10/19 16:01
My son was born premature and this app has been so helpful and exactly spot on with his dev based upon his due date versus his birth date.
Amazing
by KittySmalls1988 on 2018/10/16 15:03
It is amazing how accurate this is. This is my second kid and was a little skeptical because I didn’t notice these things before. Now I know what to look for and it is spot on! I am much more prepared.
Very accurate
by CAyed on 2018/10/15 23:10
I like how when my child is extra fussy I check the app, and he’s definitely going through a leap. As he grew I could tell when he was going though one but this app has helped me know the differences!
Great info, bad app
by green_and_pink on 2018/10/15 17:53
The Wonder Weeks is great and I was loving that the app is more accessible than the book. However, the app keeps crashing and often it won’t open at all. Disappointed since the redesign
Exceptional info
by Pinkraeja on 2018/10/12 02:35
The wonder weeks app has been incredible when we are feeling like terrible parents. It has been so reassuring that we are doing things fine and our little Man is just growing. The info has been spot on as the weeks have gone on! I’ll definitely be using this for the next little one!
Great app for busy Moms
by JewelsBrake on 2018/10/11 14:13
This is a great app but if I had one complaint it would be that there is not enough reading material on each leap.
so helpful!

so so helpful!
Finally!
by Kellyserena81 on 2018/10/09 06:25

SO accurate!
by HB294 on 2018/10/08 14:09
This app is freaky accurate! It’s been so helpful in understanding my little guy and what he’s going through at a particular time. Thank you Wonder Weeks!
Don’t waste your money!
by 250711 on 2018/10/03 02:55
Purchased this app desperate to see why my baby is so fussy. I’ve been using it for seven months now and Haven’t read anything that would help me. It says the same things through each leap basically in different wording. According to this app, your baby is always in a “stormy” period. It really doesn’t explain to you how your baby is changing or the skills they’re mastering clearly. I regret paying for this app.
Helpful
by postmatessucks2018 on 2018/09/30 22:35
Helpful with my now toddler who is 4 now. And new baby who is 6 weeks. I forgot everything in 4 years so this made me feel less crazy remembering that there are so many stages that affect baby behavior
Very helpful!
by Jag509 on 2018/09/29 00:18
This app is very helpful when you’re trying to figure out what’s wrong with your kid. And it’s cool to learn what they’re going through developmentally.
Pretty on point
by Ceelovie on 2018/09/28 01:34
Every leap has been on point for my baby. It’s helpful and encouraging as a new Mom.
Not v useful for adoptive parents
by JDMAM818 on 2018/09/26 12:23
Purchased this app on a friend’s recommendation only to find it stresses the due date and conception as the key dates for tracking development. I don’t have access to this info as an adoptive patent of an infant, so don’t feel like this app is helpful to me.
Great reminders
by J-Bird415 on 2018/09/26 05:46
Love the reminder that when my baby is fussy, she is probably doing so much growing that I’m not even really aware of. We used this app with our first and I’m so excited to be using it with our second.
This app doesn’t have help me at all
by Amy Brannock on 2018/09/23 00:18
Unfortunately, this was a waste of money. The information is useless and does not align with my child at all.
Meh
by EndymionNomad on 2018/09/22 03:12
I mean, I could’ve gotten all this app has to offer in an e-book. Really don’t see what the fuss is about. A LOT more apps out there have daily value. Pretty disappointed.
MUST HAVE! Great baby shower gift!
by Sunshine1111 on 2018/09/21 20:06
If you don’t yet have the Wonder Weeks app, I cannot recommend it enough. I used it for our 21mo, and it was so nice to know ahead of time when I could expect her to be fussy, grumpy, or clingy. I’m only 25 weeks, but I’ve already programmed baby’s due date (WW works off of due date, not birth date, which the app explains why), and the app has programmed baby’s leaps into my calendar. Normally I cringe at the thought of spending money on an app, but this did prove to be valuable enough, and worth the small expense. App works great, communicates with iPhone calendar, and even has instructional videos that are so helpful.
Not good for preemies
by Ranman21 on 2018/09/18 03:39
So the app specifically states to use due date because that is when baby will leap, and not when they were actually born in the case of preemies. This is wrong by my own observation with my preemie. It says she won’t have first leap for a little bit yet (she is 9 weeks tomorrow and came exactly 5 weeks early) but she has already gone through second leap. She plays with her hands by wringing them together. She waves her arms intentionally. She is making noises like “ah” and others. She is leaping at her age not her gestational age.
Pretty spot on
by Connorsauras on 2018/09/12 16:38
This app is pretty spot on with milestones and leaps. I wish the count down to the next leap provided more information. i.e #of days until the next, # of days since the beginning, and the # of days left in current. Currently there is only one count.
It Works! It’s True!
by Jenthebeliever on 2018/09/12 14:58
Have found this app sooo helpful in understanding my daughter! It’s been spot on!
Must have for new parents
by LilMonkeyXs2 on 2018/09/08 21:04
The book is great but the app is even better. The calendar chart is very helpful. I was amazed, the first time around, at how spot on the fussy phases are and it’s the same with the second baby now. A little less stress when you know when the storm is coming in.
Completely in sync with my baby
by LaurKess on 2018/09/08 14:34
I love this app because it helps explain what’s going on with my baby week by week, the good and the bad. It makes me more relaxed realizing that most of his behavior is typical of a baby at his age. Sometimes it’s freakishly on point with what my baby is doing that week. I highly recommend this to any anxious new parent like me!!
So Great!
by BriHer422 on 2018/09/07 03:19
Always pretty on point and gives me great insight into what is really going on in DD’s little head.
Useless
by TiredMomOf6 on 2018/09/06 18:56
All babies are different, and I should have known better than to buy an app that supposedly applies to all babies. The leaps might be skills that all babies learn, but there is no way of knowing WHEN your specific baby will develop those abilities, let alone when your baby will be fussy or go through a “stormy” period. It’s pretty absurd that the book and the app claim to give these predictive abilities to parents with a calendar. The “leaps” didn’t coincide at all with my baby. I followed the rules and went by my child’s due date, instead of birthdate, but still the calendar/chart was SO off base. My baby would have fussy growth spurts, and sleep regressions, during projected “happy” periods. And my child would master skills months sooner or later than was stated. This app is useless. I shouldn’t have wasted my money.
Wasn’t accurate
by aroundthaglobe on 2018/09/05 17:49
I’m surprised how many people had good luck with this app, but for my baby this app wasn’t accurate. He doesn’t seem to follow the schedule lol. For example, right now it’s a fussy period supposedly and has the little storm symbol over these particular days, and he is actually having a very sunny period, one of his better weeks! He has been a delight this week and waking up happy playing in his crib and has even let me go shopping a couple times without instantly complaining. Happy others liked the app though.
Absolute must have!!!
by M3James on 2018/09/04 19:53
I’ve used this app for all 3 of my children. It has always helped me knowing why they were extra fussy and what milestones they will be hitting soon.
Sanity saver!
by NansMom on 2018/09/04 17:01
Timing has been really spot on and it really helps save my sanity knowing why my little one has become so cranky and when to expect it! It’s been great to know what changes are happening in her development and what I can do to help guide her!
Good info but
by Collibeth on 2018/09/03 13:34
Good info, but I could have gotten it for free at the library in the book. I was under the impression I could tailor this to my baby (born 3 weeks before due date and did leap 1 1.5 weeks before app), but I can’t put in that info. So I have to extrapolate myself, which I can do with the book. Videos not working right now either.
Cranky baby? Might be a leap!
by Boo to spam on 2018/09/03 12:08
I may not reference the app regularly, but if the little one has been a crankster for a few days, I’ll take a look and more often than not, it’s a leap. The descriptions of what the kiddos are learning and experiencing is typically spot on. Great app for first time and veteran parents alike!
Beneficial
by mai_admiral on 2018/09/01 20:37
I love how it takes into account the baby due date. I wish the app talks more about multiples.
WORTH THE BUY!
by rowenamarie0117 on 2018/08/30 04:09
This app has always been beyond accurate with both of my sons! Always helped me understand why my kids were so fussy at a period of time & I love that I knew exactly when his first sleep regression started & when it ended.
Recommend to all my pregnant friends!
by nbow22 on 2018/08/29 21:45
I feel like it’s super accurate! I plan a ton around this app. My first baby and his app has helped a ton putting my mind to ease with what is considered normal. Great ideas to help her development along. Highly recommend!!
Informative
by sebastides on 2018/08/26 02:29
Informative and interesting. Could provide a few more techniques and tips for parents to help manage baby through the various leaps.
Boring
by thereyahaveit on 2018/08/25 21:04
This app is super boring—- you can find all of this info through a google search without paying for a lack luster, ugly boring app. There’s no color and the writing doesn’t grab or hold the readers attention. I regret buying this app.
Spot on
by EMarieSmi on 2018/08/23 17:11
A friend just recommended this app after hearing my worries as to why my 8 week old isn’t sleeping all of the sudden. The chart is so accurate it’s eerie! They say there’s not a manual for babies, but this is pretty darn close! Very impressed! Helps understand what your little one is going through.
Wonderful app
by Kerry333333 on 2018/08/22 02:04
I love this app, not just for all of the information about my baby’s development but also, I can predict when he will be crabby, frustrated, or his sleep schedule will change because the leap calendar is pretty spot on. It also gives really great ideas for how to encourage developing skills in the leap.
Love the content
by thelifeofsyn on 2018/08/21 07:28
Love the content and simplicity of this app! The information about leaps is so vital when you have a baby who is very easily frustrated at the beginning of each leap. I can almost count it down to the day.
Best guide for the unexplained fussiness
by Junebug9284738910 on 2018/08/19 13:27
Using it for my second after it helped with my first. It really was like clockwork and you can track the new advancements with each leap.
Must Have Parenting App!
by JediJenn90 on 2018/08/18 00:39
This app was a life-saver during the first 1.5 year of my baby’s life! When she was fussy for apparently no reason, we had something to turn to. It’s so hard seeing your baby be cranky! But not knowing what’s going on or how you can help makes it so much worse! This app will let you know when your child will be going through mental leaps based on their age. Leaps in development can also mean fussier periods. It’s also super fun to look out for and notice the changes that the app says should be happening! This app was spot on for my kid and I’m so glad I had it!
Definitely a smart app to have
by AshlynnsMommy on 2018/08/15 04:01
I was suggested this app from a lovely mom friend I have who swore by it and i can’t even tell you how accurate it is and how relieving it is to be wondering about what’s going on with my child and see that’s it’s normal! Very much so worth the money to get this and wish I had/knew about it with my first!
Best newborn parenting app!
by Beautiful Design on 2018/08/13 18:49
The Wonder Weeks app is so easy to use, gives reassurance during Baby’s fussy phases and it’s fun to see what Baby is learning right now. If you haven’t read the book, it’s a fun read, but this is easier for new parents for sure!
Great tool
by LeezerRN on 2018/08/11 12:52
New parents! You need this app. It’s worth the $3. Reading up on why your kiddo gets irritable or fussy helps you understand what’s going on in their brains, therefore making these stages less exhausting and frustrating! Well set up with bullet points, videos etc that all help make this info easy to digest when sleep deprived and busy with a little one. Love the alerts that connect to your phone so you know when they’re about to enter a new leap!
Not all it’s cracked up to be
by FlyingAnnie on 2018/08/07 18:57
Worst $2.99 I’ve spent. It only gives you about 5 sentences on why your baby will cry in the next 3-5 weeks and how to soothe them. That’s about it. Not user friendly and you can’t read future leaps. Our baby seems one leap ahead of what the app says but we can’t view the next one in advance. We adopted our baby and mom didn’t receive prenatal care so we don’t know when due date actually was. So it’s a pretty useless app for us. Not sure why so many people love this app so much.
Worth the money
by Rkcmommy on 2018/08/07 13:11
I was hesitant to purchase this app at first, but finally did after several friends swore by it. So far it has been spot on with my son and his fussy periods. It helps keep you sane as a parent because you know when to expect a fussier/clingier baby & it offers helpful suggestions and insight. With my first, I always thought it was something I was doing wrong. Now I know that these are leaps that all babies go through! Love this app!
Love loveeee this app!
by DeDe812 on 2018/08/07 07:40
Absolutely love this app! It has helped me so much with not one but both of my babies. One is 18 months old and my other is 1.5 months old.. highly recommend this app to everybody who has babies or toddlers!!!
You will love this app
by Pam1055 on 2018/05/29 13:49
Believe me you will use this app and be so glad you have it. When your child is fussy you can see her chart and say oh she’s in a stormy period until whatever date her stormy time goes to on her calendar. You’ll also see what you should expect your child to be doing at different levels of development. And please know that your child is able to learn things about her world from day one. No they won’t be able to do a lot of things until their bodies are able, but in there mines they can. All they need is your time to teach them. And they will only do what you expect them to do. If you don’t think your little one can know the difference between a few stuffed animals way before they are a year old, let me tell you that you are so wrong! They can get the one you asked them for at 6-9 months old. Yes I did say 6-9 MONTHS. Try it and see. They can start way before you may have thought. So expect them to learn as much as you can teach them and they will. They do have to wait to show you what they know on some things because of their body, it has to catch-up to their brain and they have to get control over their arms legs and all the rest to show you what they have known for months. Keep teaching and you’ll have one smart little child and they will be amazing.
Great-Makes you want more
by HealthyMamaLA on 2018/03/16 14:13
This app if great. I first purchased the book and ready parts of it. The book has more information, but most of it is parents’ experiences. While those are important, I feel that the most value giving by The Wonder Weeks is that provided by the chart. Those small little clouds can help you keep you sanity. Knowing that a leap is approaching or that you’re in the middle of one, helps you stay calm as a mother as it justifies the madness. The app provides the timing for the leap: by week and by dates. Also, the new feature adds it to your calendar which is GREAT! There is some information as of what to expect behavior wise. A bit more info about what each leap means for them and what to expect them to do. I recommend this app to all my mommy friends. It’s a great tool for a mom with one or 5 kids. I would have liked to see also an indication of growth spurts in the chart. Also, the chart ends at around 2 years I believe. While it is very beneficial to until that point, the kids still have major developmental leaps after (as I have witnessed with my own child). So, it would be great to add any information for after that. That just stays there and does nothing after... seems very close ended. Overall: it is great for when you need it, and you will need it for your own peace of mind when you don’t know why they keep crying and nursing.
Every mom needs this app!
by mommakc16 on 2018/08/01 18:07
As a first time mom there were so many times my baby was having a rough week and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong when suddenly I remembered this app and decided to check if we were in a leap. Each time I would find that we were, in fact, just entering one or right smack in the middle of a stormy week. Having that knowledge gave me the reassurance I need to know that I wasn’t doing anything wrong but also let me know that there was more I could be doing to help my baby through the current leap! It has made each leap so much easier for both of us! I also love that you can add more than one baby and I look forward to using it for any future children I have!
Best kept secret

This App and book changed our lives. We thought something was wrong when our son was going through a leap. I found the app about 3 months into his development. After the app I knew we were just going through the growing stages of life. Now with our second child, our daughter, it is amazing to be able to remember back the different leaps and compare. Before the app, we felt like WE were bad parents. It was a game changer. Like a light switch. You literally were able to take the pressure off of yourself and give yourself a break. And the book is even better. Highly recommend!!
So much support
by JulieandNoah on 2018/03/10 04:36
I’m writing this as a first-time parent. I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, and above all completely terrified I’m going to do the wrong thing and miss critical opportunities to facilitate my son’s development. This app provides timely and useful information that is imparted in manageable and easy to understand chunks. As much as I would love to be able to read all the well-researched books I can find, I don’t have the time. This app gives me information that I would find in those books as it applies to my son in relation to his stage of development and what I can do to support him. I use it almost daily and I can’t imagine parenting without it.
Thank you!!
Wish I’d had this for my kids!
by "Mim" on 2018/03/08 16:03
As a new and jubilant grandma, this takes all the guess work out of raising this little 8-month-old! At least so far the baby has exactly paralleled what the book said was occurring. It has taken the mystery out of why a child seems to back step a formerly achieved behavior. I expect it, understand it, and know it will change. And now that I understand what enormous changes the baby is going through, I don’t feel guilty indulging in extra pampering... just as I would with a sick child. Thank you and I have recommended your book and site to all parents I know!!

Amazing

This app has been very helpful. I recommend the book too! I will read each chapter as the leap nears. Feeling educated about what to expect has helped me maintain my cool. These fussy phases can be challenging but knowing it will come and go helps you relate and empathize with your child, and yourself. It also helps you recognize their new skills. At the end you feel a sense of accomplishment and it truly is bewildering to watch your baby master their skills. Keep in mind it is a guide, not a concrete timeline. My child has gone through a leap early by a few days here or there. Happy reading!
Useless
by TiredMomOf6 on 2018/09/06 18:56
All babies are different, and I should have known better than to buy an app that supposedly applies to all babies.
You’re doing great momma!
by ZizzyLouc on 2018/03/02 21:42
This app helps me to give myself a little grace in this whole mom-ing thing! Sometimes, during a particularly rough time in my baby’s development I feel like I’m spinning my wheels trying to figure out what more I can do to make things easier. Then I check my wonder weeks app and see that we’re in the middle of a leap, and I just feel a sense of release. It’s nothing I’m doing wrong, it’s just a leap, and totally normal. As moms we are so hard on ourselves, and this app has helped me give myself a little break!
So helpful!
by Kayliewayliewea on 2018/01/22 16:56
For me, hearing “sometimes they just cry for no reason!” isn’t good enough for me. I want to know why! This app really has helped me to understand and sympathize with my baby when he is going through something life changing that I otherwise wouldn’t know he was experiencing. On harder days, it’s much easier to give my little one extra grace when I know that he isn’t just “crying because babies cry!” But Instead because he is going through a major developmental leap. This app helps to explain that!
So good!
by ShannanES on 2018/07/29 11:25
This app gives me so much insight into what my little one is experiencing down to the T! I read through information about each leap with a smile because each time it is spot on. I love the suggestions of activities and games to help support her development and the heads up about new mental and emotional leaps that may come with more fussiness or clinginess. It’s a great tool for new moms looking for in depth information and some direction for helping their little ones grow into creative and well adjusted people!
Not so sure
by shainehmaidela on 2017/10/12 20:48
I've heard a lot about this app and my friends seem to rely on it a lot. They all said it was extremely accurate. I hate paying for apps which is why I was hesitant to buy it but I gave in because my son, who is 10 weeks, has been super fussy lately, eating all the time and not sleeping well at all and I wanted to see if this app would go along with what he's experiencing. Well it shows that he's currently going through a "sunny" phase but I completely disagree with that. I'll keep with the app for a few weeks to see how "accurate" it is but right now I'm not finding it that great. Please note that I did use my due date, not my son's birthday.
Highly Recommend!
by RHeidelman on 2018/07/02 02:49
Our daughter is 5 months old and so far every time she has been fussier than normal or just not acting herself I’ll open up this app and find out she is in a “storm” period. Learning about all the different leaps is so interesting. Let’s be honest, a crying baby is hard- especially when they are inconsolable- but knowing she is in a “storm” period helps keep everything in perspective that this is just a season and will pass soon. Highly recommend this app!
I recommend this to every parent I meet
by Obsessed365 on 2018/05/24 00:26
I know I should be reading the book from cover to cover. And I did purchase it and the digital version, but since giving birth finding time is rare. So I am so thankful that they thought to create this app which gives me a quick rundown. I can check back and read it quickly anytime to refresh myself on what Leap my Baby is going through and help us better understand some of the things she might be dealing with.
On point
by Seriously❓ on 2018/12/02 19:00
My daughter has hit every fussy stage almost to the day.

I love the book, but it can be difficult to grab hold of it when the little one falls asleep in your arms, while reaching the phone in your pocket is so much easier. It was incredibly helpful to learn about my child’s development and it was even more delightful to watch her grow after I had this knowledge. This app also helped me expose her to appropriate play and learning opportunities. Can’t recommend enough.

One of the best things ever
by Tayh53 on 2018/03/06 00:25
There were times when I was pulling my hair out trying to find out what was wrong with my twins & why they were so fussy. Then, I would check the app & have this ‘Ohhhh’ moment. I can always track when there will be more fussy periods for them. We’re coming up on the 10th & final leap & this app has been right there with us the whole time. I recommend it to all of my new parent friends
Don’t recommend!
by Pharm-FPGEE on 2018/06/28 05:04
If this app had a free trial I wouldn’t have bought it. I bought it in a moment of frustration because I can’t understand why my baby is so fussy. The language is not easy in this app. They use technical terms which they didn’t provide explanation for. The app is poorly organized and difficult to navigate through. My baby has been fussy for a few days and the app says he’s starting his leap in two days! The app deals with babies as if they are all the same, have the same development rate and achieve milestones on a specific day which is completely untrue.
Gift of insight
by Janell Schwake on 2018/04/23 13:02
This app has given me the gift of insight into my 2 little ones and their world. The understanding has been amazing when it feels like what was settled becomes crazy, what we had established is undone, and we work through a stormy time. I love knowing what is being learned at each stage so I can be sensitive to it and their development needs. I highly recommend this app as an awesome bite-size, amazing gift of insight into my baby’s world.
So helpful!
by janikut on 2018/01/26 22:58
It’s a paid app, but in my opinion, it’s well worth it. It lets the user know when each leap in development is happening, and describes in depth the signs, the moods, and the new abilities. It even suggests games to play with your baby that are appropriate for each development phase. It has really helped me identify when my baby is approaching or actively going through something, and prepare for behavioral and mood changes that accompany it.
Must have app
by MasterM+ on 2018/03/28 00:30
I highly recommend this app. I waited to buy it based on a few negative reviews, and finally bought it after a number of word-of-mouth recommendations. I wish I had it sooner. It has great advice for each stage babies go through. The “fussy phases” timelines are also a huge help. This app is a must have to better understand the cognitive development of your child day-by-day and week-by-week.
Don’t totally agree...
by sr9117 on 2018/05/05 18:35
I don’t think my kid has his leaps according to due date at all, but it’s dead on for his birth date. Great to know what he’s working on and when and why he’s grumpy!! It would get 5 stars if I (and several friends) found it accurate to their insistence of due date. I just created a second profile for him with his birth date and that’s how I discovered his schedule is more accurate with birth date. So if you feel like it’s off a bit, try that!
Incredibly helpful app
by jenavive2 on 2018/04/19 00:08
It has been so helpful knowing when my baby is going through a leap, the new skills she is learning, and how I can best support and encourage her. Having a chart showing anticipated leap dates has helped me plan some quieter times during her “stormy” days. It also helps me keep in perspective that her fussing has a purpose and it will pass. Thanks for helping me parent a little better, Wonder Weeks!
Definitely a must-have app for new parents
by Ontheflyshutter on 2017/12/14 02:04
As first-time parents, we really appreciated the great insights this app had as we navigated the first few months of our baby. Moreover, it gave us plenty of peace of mind knowing that all of this has bona fide research to back it up. This is very important given all of the unscientific research, articles and books that “advise” you to do things that will have lasting negative consequences on your kid.
Best app ever!
by Kait Myers on 2018/06/06 13:37
Love this app! It has helped us to know what to expect for our baby. Parenting is exhausting enough, but when your baby is fussy and you don't know why it can be very stressful. Especially if nursing, you start to think you are doing something wrong! This app shows you why they are fussy and even gives you ways to help them through those fussy times. It's like an angel sent from God! 😂🙌🏻
Helpful for getting through tough periods
by Angler fish on 2018/03/12 04:39
It was very helpful to hear about all the changes my child was going through to help understand how to be helpful, but almost more so was the charting of the “stormy” periods and “sunny” periods where you could expect to see mood changes in your child. That helped me understand the fussy times much more and not become overly worried when they arrived.
A must for first time moms!

This app is SO great! Very informative for a first time mom who often feels clueless. It explains when a “leap” occurs and what to expect in depth. These babies are constantly going through changes to their cognitive development and it’s so reassuring that their difficult behavior is just a temporary phase as they are adjusting to the real world. I recommend this to all my mommy friends, especially first time mommies!
Important!
by StaStets on 2018/03/05 04:52
This app is so important. Not only because it allows you to be in tune with what your child is going through but also because it validates how you feel as a mom. It allows you a minute to sit down and put into words what you and your child are going through and how to get through it. It teaches and reassures and allows for a happy relationship.
Amazing
by Kktravers on 2018/03/03 17:28
This is always 100% on point! I love how I get a heads up before a leap so I can better adjust for her, give her the little things to help with the leap she is going through. We’re on our 3rd leap and I can truly see her shining through this one. Smooth transitions, so we’re feeling different textures and objects and making different sounds! I love this! A must have for any parent!!
Better than the app you have to pay for
by Rweldon23 on 2018/05/31 23:22
This app is amazing! All the bits and pieces of information I really care to know about. And you don’t have to pay a dollar or get promoted to pay for sections of the book. So much cheaper to just borrow the book from the library and then to put it back into rotation. Anyway, this app is great. I highly recommend it!
Helpful

I teach teachers. I feel as if I should know these things. Maybe I did hear these ideas in theory years ago. I find this a helpful reminder. Worth the investment and something my husband (not an early childhood preschool specialist) and I can read in tandem to learn about our child together. I wish it discussed each leap’s impact on sleep routines a tad bit more. Or how my consistency in maintaining routines, or maybe my lack there of, impacts my child.
Great!
by NKS821 on 2018/10/25 18:19
We used this app with our son back in 2015 and now use it again with our newborn. We recommend it to everyone we know as it’s been SO helpful and spot on (although we typically find our kids go by birthdate not due date). It’s always reassuring to know that there is a reason for the fussiness and, most importantly, that this too shall pass!
Great to know
by User:Alex on 2018/06/05 03:01
I’ve learned so many things from this app!! Like a leap is not a bad thing - it’s your baby going through developmental growth. I use this app to make myself feel better when I can’t figure out what’s wrong. I also use to remind myself that my daughter needs love and comfort, not being left to self soothe as she deals with this scary new world!
Glitchy, freezes a lot
by c.niko on 2018/05/24 00:15
I used to love this app with my first child. It was easy to navigate, gave me notifications on my calendar, and had lots of great information. This time around I’ve been super disappointed. Same great information but the app has so many technical problems. It freezes all the time and won’t open to the calendar that I want to check. It’s like flipping a coin whether or not I can even open the app. Purchase with caution.
Wish I had this for baby one!
by Dmoneymarie on 2018/01/13 15:43
Seriously this app and the books, have made understanding baby #2 so much easier! I love the fact that it gives me ideas to entertain baby for the current state of development- and to know when the “hard” times are on the brink of being calm for a while ! I recommend this to all moms new and pros ;)

Spot on!

This app helps SO MUCH when your baby is growing! They have tips and tricks and tell you when the stormy periods are coming. It helps me have a better understanding of what my baby needs.

Great guide to parenting

It might sound strange, but this app helps us understand just how to love our kids best. We used it with our first and were sad when there were no more leap/development overviews and tips after 18 months. We currently have a newborn and are glad to have this as a guide to best care for our new baby. LOVE!
Great for first time moms!

Great!
by kennedyblair on 2018/12/04 17:26
My baby is 5 months and we’ve had this app since about 2 months and it has been right on track just about every time with my little one!
Wow

Spot on!
by spazzkajazz on 2018/11/09 19:26
I love that the app let’s you know about various stages of development from a scientific viewpoint.

Saved my life and sanity

Not For Me
by Bethb525 on 2018/10/27 11:16
Eh, I’m sure this app is great for parents whose babies were born on or around their due date, but my daughter was born 7 weeks early. The app says to still use her due date to calculate the leaps, but she is far beyond leap one (which she should technically be in now), but I don’t feel that she is quite to leap 4 yet either (which is where she should be based on her birth date). Due to this, this app isn’t very helpful to me.

So good!
by ShannanES on 2018/07/29 11:25
This app gives me so much insight into what my little one is experiencing down to the T!

I know I should be reading the book from cover to cover. And I did purchase it and the digital version, but since giving birth finding time is rare. So I am so thankful that they thought to create this app which gives me a quick rundown. I can check back and read it quickly anytime to refresh myself on what Leap my Baby is going through and help us better understand some of the things she might be dealing with.
On point
by Seriously❓ on 2018/12/02 19:00
My daughter has hit every fussy stage almost to the day.
Great tool

I love the book, but it can be difficult to grab hold of it when the little one falls asleep in your arms, while reaching the phone in your pocket is so much easier. It was incredibly helpful to learn about my child’s development and it was even more delightful to watch her grow after I had this knowledge. This app also helped me expose her to appropriate play and learning opportunities. Can’t recommend enough.
A must for first time moms!
by kjcatlin on 2018/05/18 16:59
This app is SO great!
Amazing
by Kktravers on 2018/03/03 17:28
This is always 100% on point!
Helpful
by DurkinMF on 2018/04/15 08:39
I teach teachers.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
by Lauren C E on 2018/10/20 08:06
We found it very informative as to when our daughter would be going through fussy stages. The App outlines new leaps babies go through and the comparable guide to cognitive and physical abilities that are a part of the stage. So far, it’s spot on with our little one! Great app. I would highly recommend to anyone with a newborn. My sis in law recommended my husband and me to buy!
