Why are we not able to tag people in our photos?
Can't switch between profiles
by Chi Chi Gonzales on 2015/09/03 14:53
Probably the biggest beef I have with Pages Manager app is the inability to switch between my personal FB profile and the Page profile when posting/liking, etc. Sometimes we want to make post from ourself and not the entire entity. FB on a "real" computer offers to choice to decide who you are posting/comment/liking as. Why not the app?
Lame
by letsworshipizeit on 2015/09/03 03:04
Pretty pointless. Also can't share a post to this from my personal page. Lame.
There could be a couple changes
by Mastiffs Rule on 2015/09/02 14:05
There could be a couple changes. The first I'd recommend is, letting the messages from pages actually give an alert when they come in. Second, better arrangements for photos. Third, a search feature.
Seriously?
by Demandao on 2015/09/02 05:43
I really need another app to manage my business page? No, for real. Because as a small business owner I don't have enough things to deal with. Thanks.

It's not enough
Great fixes... Need more I'm addicted!
by nkg on 2015/09/01 14:19
Please add the ability to search albums keywords and photos!! Ability to edit albums from iPhone. And search by month no Facebook or messenger app has search... Add tags for words to make searching easier. Example I post recipes would be nice for Someone to search all recipes or chicken recipes etc Still need more capabilities via phone .....Would be amazing if you could add a CMS capability to blog through here and add pictures throughout the story.. Can you tell use this app a lot!
Lack of functionality...
by TravisTheMavis on 2015/08/31 15:01
A lot of functionality that you get on the desktop is missing from this app, including "hiding" comments on photos that I instead have to delete to get the job done away from a computer. Please fix!
App crashes all the time
by foundfaithfull on 2015/08/31 11:45
Loved it until the app crashes all the time. Too many updates for this to be happening. Please help us fit this.
Just bad
by Vet Abdullah on 2015/08/30 19:18
I can't open comments on main post and even sometimes comments on photos. I can't edit the posts. Simply the notifications are just useless as most of the times don't go to the comment directly. I have to use safari to successfully react to the audience. 👎👎👎
pretty good
by Kwame Lord Currency on 2015/08/30 19:08
i donoe watsap with all the negative comments??! it almst made me not consider downloading but its been really good since i started using.. loads pretty fast. i like it
Bad behavior
by Raed zidat on 2015/08/30 15:07
Two serious Bugs 1-can't send images without text , send button is disabled . 2- when searching for message from page fan you can't open the message to read very bad one please fix soon Waiting for next update

What is going one? Messaging has so many issues, and why are the post disappearing from my timeline? Can work with this!
Nothing but issues
by photo_mama_ca on 2015/08/30 00:56
I've been having nothing but issues with this app when it comes to notifications and messages. I downloaded the app for convenience to my business and for people to contact me without giving out my personal information. It does not stay current and continuously says connecting, because it somehow lost the connection?! And I'm not even getting all my notifications. If it wasn't a bigger hassle just to use the computer I would delete the app, although I'm seriously considering it anyway.
PISS OFF.
by Magma1020101 on 2015/08/29 12:38
STOP FORCING IT ON ME!!!!! I HATE YOUR APP AND ITS POINTLESS AND IS MORE OF A WASTE OF SPACE ON MY PHONE. PISS OFF YA PRICKS'
Hmm...
by Kairiko Liona on 2015/08/29 01:43
Messages still don't work correctly. Even if you get a notification for messages, you must force close the app and reopen in order for it to appear. Pages messages should work just as simply as facebook messenger...
Awful
by kawolfe11 on 2015/08/28 12:49
I am having trouble viewing comments on all of my posts and pictures. Can you please fix this Adam
Stop pushing out updates just for the hell of it.
by AppleJunk81083 on 2015/08/26 17:56
This app seems to get worse every time they update it. Latest update has the app freezing constantly and has rendered it almost useless. Once upon a time links populated when you pasted them to post, though that was broken months ago and doesn't appear to be coming back. I'm just about ready to delete this app. At one point this was something I used heavily for my work's page, now I'm finding myself just going through my phone's browser because the latest updates keep screwing the app up.
Not impressed
by Steelegirl0660 on 2015/08/24 04:46
I hate that you can't see who likes your page or who views your posts! I am sick of seeing a stupid chart every time I go to look at the activity! This app doesn't do anything different or special from what Facebook does!
No notifications
by Gloaming1974 on 2015/08/23 12:50
With this new update I no longer receive notifications. I've triple-checked all settings, and they're fine. Notifications are essential for a business page. Why aren't they working????
Check-in
by sergiogr on 2015/08/22 19:13
Should be able to see people who checked in.
What happened?
by Oceanfreak0401 on 2015/08/21 03:14
I used to be able to post multiple pics as the main post. Now it only allows you to select 1 picture for a post. All the rest have to be added as a new post or in the comments. Totally not cool. Basic FB feature - to add multiple pics in a single post. Fix this please!!!
Handcrafted originals
by Handcrafted Originals by Tammy on 2015/08/21 01:21
When this app first came out, it was great, but now there seems to be lots of issues! When your trying to conduct business, it's very inconvenient! Lots of bugs, and things that aren't working properly...I've sent several complaints/issues, but they don't seem to be fixed :-(
Owner Nonna's Cakes
by Di Xxx on 2015/08/20 22:20
I keep getting a pop up notification to turn on notifications- it IS turned on yet I don't get the notifications. I get them on my regular FB app so why not here. I also want to be notified when I have a new like or lose a like - AND I want to know who! How can I know what's wrong with my sales/postings if I do t know when and who left or came on?
Used to love it
by Shawnie D on 2015/08/20 16:27
As an owner of multiple pages and an admin on several others, I LOVED the app. But, lately, the app won't even load. It comes on for a second then blanks out. The only way to post and run my pages are directly through Facebook but that's difficult to go back and forth to share pages and it won't let me repo d to fans comments.
Eh, not bad, not great.
by JessT0143 on 2015/08/20 15:42
Messaging is super slow. Don't get notifications from some customers. And today..... I can't post photos to my page! Super frustrating!!! So many problems with this app. Cannot attach photos!!!! Horrible :(
Nearly worthless
by MAttadrianne on 2015/08/20 14:40
Nearly worthless if you can't view your pages newsfeed! Don't waste your time.

There is absolutely no reason for this app to exist.
by ZachMatthews on 2015/08/18 13:27
This app merely duplicates functionality Facebook already had. Complete bloat ware.
Not happy no sound!!!
by Darlingnichi on 2015/08/18 01:27
In the last two days I have tried to upload videos straight from the app and there is no sound. I have checked my settings and used other apps that have and record sound and they work, but my page manager does not!!!
Not the best
by vtsara on 2015/08/17 13:39
This app is sort of disappointing. Really want the ability to see the news feed of things your page has liked + interact that way. But I do like being able to schedule posts and see stats in a bit more detail. Just need the news feed to make it complete.
Useless. Barely let's you do anything.
by Kentucky Oyster on 2015/08/17 09:20
Why can't Facebook make this app work the way the normal Facebook app works? Pages is pointless. Why even MAKE this app? Why limit functionality in apps? Please allow us to see the normal newsfeed!
Good app
by Uvanzastenje on 2015/08/16 22:04

Add this Feature
by flavorchaser on 2015/08/16 15:31
We should be able to search other pages to like and add a messaging ability. So if I am using the page app I would like to be able to search for pages to like using that page. And I would love to be able to message other pages from that page. This would be an awesome feature...
Crash...
by DannyBarto on 2015/08/16 12:05
Atleast it's consistent. Consistently crashes each time I try to open it.
Show entire friends list
by TheCueOne on 2015/08/14 11:20
Should be able to see all your friends list on the app ( that would be better ) not just the few that's always there should the whole list
Easy to use, still missing features
by AML95 on 2015/08/14 06:59
I use this app often to check on the status of my group page's posts, compose posts with the appropriate tags & hashtags, & communicate with followers. These functions are easy to use on a mobile device & have made updating my page convenient most of the time. I am unable though to view my newsfeed through this app under my page's profile. This makes it difficult to share posts, having to open links in Safari & then go back to open up Pages to paste the link & write a description, when it's so much more convenient to do it with the ease of the share button & picking my page on the computer.
Seriously?
by Freshfromthedelu on 2015/08/13 23:50
It was bad enough when I had to download a new app for Facebook messenger. Now I have to get a new one for Pages? Can't wait until I have to get a separate app to make posts. Thanks Facebook.
App crash?
by Babba fats on 2015/08/13 21:32
Seems like my app updates on its own now it won't work unless I update my iOS. Not happening - so I guess I will go without this - old version was fine. Oh well
Hello? What about fixing the error on no uploading videos
by Bloody $24 on 2015/08/13 20:22
Hello? Are you even listening to me? You released an update and you STILL don't fix the error on not uploading videos. This app is just pathetic...just like you...
The Need to CREATE New Photo Albums
by MsLyt on 2015/08/13 12:14
You do not seem to be interested in responding, more importantly, acting upon review issues since many I've read still are active concerns. I might as well add one more, it's bad enough I can't access Albums from the Facebook App, let along add photos into created albums; this Pages app will only show me existing Albums, not the ability to Create a NEW Album of events on any of my Pages. Many like their photos grouped by events, this should be an easy enough quick fix for you to ADD CREATE ALBUM feature to your Apps. Thank you. I agree with some of the other issues as well such as not being able to read someone's comment on your post from a notification that there is one.
Horrible
by zeldakix17 on 2015/08/13 07:28

Poor navigation
by Unwarygiraffe on 2015/08/13 06:12

Tone Death As Always
by Derp McHerp on 2015/08/10 17:50
I wish there was a viable alternative social network like those halcyon days of the great migration from MySpace to FaceBook. Alas, I must put up with yet another nugget in the toilet bowl of obnoxiousness. Today's idiocy has me trying and failing to tag followers in photo albums. Before, I could just switch to my page and add individuals and organizations. Facebook pls. Stahp.
Meh
by Chyort68 on 2015/08/09 11:56
I would probably like it more if it had a "hide" function like regular FB has.

Constantly crashes and won't let me view posts I'm tagged in
by Cscribe2180 on 2015/08/07 19:22
Every time I try to view or share a post my page is tagged in, the app either won't let me, or it crashes. If I try to schedule a post, it freezes. There is no point to this app if you can't do these most basic of things.
This app is crap
by Leelue1982 on 2015/08/07 14:07
I admin 5 groups though this app would be great to use but once I loaded it to my iPhone 6 and logged in it says I have no groups and the help center is a joke please stop wasting everyone's time if your going to have a app make sure it works
Ugh
by <AleuMarx3 on 2015/08/06 04:32
Love this app to death. BUT posting on other pages and commenting has become very difficult. Seems like pages is having an identity issue. Problem is I keep posting as the admin, and not the page. And I'm not the only one having this issue. A bunch of my friends are having this issue and it's rather bothersome... If someone could fix this and make it available to turn it off or stop it, that would the the best!
The point of Facebook is to interact.
by Dodici12 on 2015/08/04 13:36
Which this app does not let you do. As stated by the previous review, you can not see/interact with anyone you have previously liked. So, you ONLY see YOUR feed, nothing else anyone posts. What's the point of this? Oh yeah, to 'boost your post' so Facebook makes more money. Delete.
No News Feed

Broken: Posts Made since Friday 7/31/15 Don't Show Up
by tsd707 on 2015/08/03 12:50
Facebook has not only broken Pages, they also broke the main Facebook app when it comes to showing pages you manage: no posts made after Friday, 7/31/2015, appear on the page's feed. You have to go to the browser to see your own page posts made since that date. Facebook insists on repeatedly changing these apps, but can't be bothered to do adequate testing before releasing to ensure mobile app behavior is still working. Who knows what else they've broken that I haven't discovered yet.
It's fine for me
by Dcs1771 on 2015/08/03 04:00
Not sure what the expectations are but it works exactly as advertised for me and I manage more than 10 pages.

So many dumb little flaws
by Christofer Williams on 2015/08/02 19:30
This app is okay. But it has so many minor irritating flaws that it cancels out all usefulness. - It's always months behind the main Facebook app in terms of features… and the main Facebook app isn't exactly a shining beacon of user-friendly stable operation. - It doesn't reliably notify you of messages or page activity, but there's no way to turn off the obnoxious and frequent reminders to DROP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND UPDATE YOUR PAGE RIGHT NOW OR YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR FOLLOWERS OMG THE SKY IS FALLING.

by Cr3ate on 2015/08/02 19:06

No feed view of subscribed pages
by Guns-N-Chocolates on 2015/08/02 14:28
Since the main FB app doesn't do it, I had high hopes and expectations that this app would let me see the feed of what my page had liked/subscribed to. Alas, no, only lets me see my own page's wall. Guess I'll have to just use the desktop browser interface to do my perusing and aggregating of other feeds. Disappointed.

Such an amazing app.
Good overall but needs one HUGE addition
by JHUD30 on 2015/07/28 02:00
Pretty much love everything about the app and it helps manage many pages BUT, this app desperately needs the option to ban ppl from the message screen. Because it allows ppl to harass you in message and not be able to ban them unless the post or comment on something. That's a huge pitfall because most harassment happens in private message. Please make this option a reality in your next update!
needs a few tweaks
by babiejennx3 on 2015/07/26 01:45
I'm not sure if this is the app's issue or Facebook, but there needs to be a way to upload photos on IG and my professional like page at the same time.. not to my personal page.
This app is no good
by LogsLincoln on 2015/07/25 21:16
You really need to change your user agreements. An. Your add guidelines. I have been trying to boost a post and messaging Facebook about it. To no resolve. There is in no way that me post is breaking in rules. But for some reason your program thinks other wise. Fix you programming.
Could be way better
by Pursuholiness on 2015/07/25 16:40

My Best FB App!
by My Appy1 on 2015/07/23 10:32
I enjoy using this app because it works with how I operate while keeping things light I also keep things fun while managing my pages and checking on gamers interactions couldn't be more innovative, I download codes on CSS and create New ones all in the same page of the user so they can feel my contributions towards their work and ends up working out for the best especially me! Winners every time! My Ads are important to users so what better way to monitor their usage than popping in to let them know i appreciate their hard work.
Its very handy

DOES NOT SUPPORT LINKS
by Big_Soon on 2015/07/22 16:09
This app has potential, but needs a lot of improvements. Number one is the fact that when you copy and paste a link, it does just that...pastes the link. A link preview does not show up, which is just counterproductive when trying to attract people to your page.

Manager
by ChemikerPaulus on 2015/07/21 10:02
DO NOT start a post on Facebook Pages Manager and not close it out; your iPad will not go into sleep mode and the battery will drain to 0%, killing your device. I just downloaded the iPhone App. It looks like it's good for my purposes of answering messages. Nice and clean until I get my iPad working again. Note to Pages Manager for Facebook: got my iPad working again. It was a boot up issue and not a zero battery problem. According to the Apple Store. 😀
Should not have updated.
by MissMausie on 2015/07/21 00:57
I have been unable to get this update to finish installing since the 17th. Today is the 20th. Have deleted, tried again, shut of phone, closed apps. Nothing will help it finish installing. To update or not to update should not be a crapshoot decision.

by MegaFartDick on 2015/07/21 00:10

Posting links? Don't use this app
by Cat B Lou on 2015/07/18 14:31
If you post a lot of links, this app won't help you much. It won't post a preview image, just the URL itself, which of course, isn't going to catch many people's interest at all. Other functions are ok, but I have to post enough links that I'm better off with a desktop PC than using this app
When I post
by TruZilla on 2015/07/18 10:42

by Court_2times on 2015/07/18 07:52

Where is the newsfeed access

I can not access the news feed from this IPhone page managers APP. When is this problem going to be fix . With out the news feed to access I'm unable to share articles to the page. Very disappointing.
Needs improvement.
by xHoranx on 2015/07/14 16:44
As someone who uses Page Manager every day to run a hefty page, efficiency is greatly needed. The messages to the page need to have quick responses available like they are on desktop. Scheduling needs to be made easier. A more efficient layout would make things easier as well.
Barely useful
by Petitbleu88 on 2015/07/14 04:16
It would be nice to see posts on other pages when someone mentions you in their post. It would be nice to check your pages feed and comment on posts of other pages through the app. Basically all this does is allow you to see how many likes and comments you get--it's pretty janky even trying to respond to comments on things you post as the app won't let you tag people. I wouldn't even bother with the app unless Facebook forced it.
Pretty useless
by Me120586 on 2015/07/14 03:20
I feel like there's absolutely nothing I can do on this app that makes sense. I am unable to schedule a post, share others mentions correctly, tag business pages, etc. the reason "Pages" is available is for people managing pages on the go who don't sit in front of their computer all day. If anything, you should be able to do at least THE SAME amount of functions with the mobile app, if not more! Come on guys, get it together. This app is pitiful. And I handle 6 business pages, it's so useless doing it with Pages.
No video uploads

As of the latest version, you can no longer upload videos. But you sure can pay to promote your page more easily!
Awesome Biz Tool
by SpiffyBethy on 2013/08/28 12:33
I use this app daily and love it! I like that you can now see the number of scheduled posts at the top of the page and that it's easier to access. I also love the ability to toggle between the different biz pages you're admin of. Although, there are a few things that could use some tweaking. The ability to tag my friends from my personal page would be very beneficial and also I don't always get notifications of messages which causes me to reply late to inquiries sent through the FB page. Fix please :) I also HATE the way the comments feature has been changed to display the most recent comments first unless they came as a "reply" to one of your comments. In theory, this sounds like a great idea but it bugs the crap out of me. Most people don't click the "reply" button on a comment, they just comment beneath yours and when FB moves it to the top of the comments section it has the potential to mess up the whole conversation (especially when your comment was made as a reply and stays in the appropriate place) and then people get confused by the order things show up in. This is why I stuck with FB instead of moving to Twitter - it drives me crazy. Just put it back the way it was please!! Overall, this is a great app though & despite the few things I don't like its been a valuable tool that I will continue to use.
Average at best...
by BNKKXU on 2013/02/02 18:06
MEH... Before the last update, I liked it much better! Like everyone else, I hate the logging in the way they have it now, it slow, buggy, and crash happy because it has to open your regular Facebook app! I wish it was more independent and actually save the login information like before! Aside from that, this app is VERY basic. You can make posts, check comments on posts you made, see basic info and that's it! What would make this five stars for me is if it were like the normal facebook app, but as you page! For my type of page, I NEED to see my pages' newsfeeds and more in depth antilictics, look at other pages, be able to share other pages, and easily see posts on my pages' timelines! Now you can sort of see the posts made by others on my timeline, you have to click on the notification, but when I wake up in the morning and have 60 notifications it's REALLY hard to go though them and find the ones I want to see. All in all it's an okay app, but very basic and lacks key features for me to run my pages on the road or away from my computer! Though I like to interact with the people that like my pages, so if you are a business using this for promotions only, or a large company etc, then the basic version of the app will work for you, but as a fan page/fledgling small online business, it's too cold and impersonal and I'm starting to get too many likes to do what I want to do with my pages!
Pay to Play
by v2Crystals on 2013/05/02 21:59
No mi gusta! Now fans have to manually select for your Page to be in their timelines / news feed updates. Getting this new task accomplished with strangers is even harder than inviting your friends to be a fan of your Page. It's so difficult to get friends to click one link to become a fan, way less than half of them are fans. Another roadblock to Page traffic is you can only invite friends once in your lifetime to support your Page. Most friends are unaware where the Page invite is posted on their timeline, so the invite remains invisible and unopened. I wrote a timeline Page update and waited a couple of days. Organically, 23 fans were reached. When I payed to play, after a couple of days posting a Page status update, 530 people were reached. How can I trust this number? There's no way of tracking who saw my promoted Page update. If I knew the facts I could improve my brand based on user data. Robots could be clicking on my page link for all we know. Can a home based business like mine pay to play the same game corporations are playing? I think not- and I'm upset people need to opt-in to have a chance at seeing my Page updates. I'm paying the same rates as huge companies are, so sadly, I will have to spend my Facebook ad dollars somewhere else where I have a chance of being visible while gaining brand loyalty, statistics, and reports that won't bankrupt my business.
Facebook Page App
by Snl7 on 2013/07/12 07:37
I love having a separate app just for my page! It makes this so much easier. I like being able to see the people who have liked my app, because I can't do that through my page on Facebook. Also I would like to see a Share link button on the posts I make. It would make it easier to prompt my business in multiple ways through multiple venues without having to copy and paste the status individually over and over again on the multiple venues. It will also allow my fans as well as other pages to share any important statuses on their page as well. And I would also like to see a way to add more photos into my albums like I can when I am on my page through a computer instead of Page App. It would make it easier since I and so many others have smartphones and use our phones to take pictures. By adding this feature it will allow me to upload the pictures straight from my phone to my Page using the Page App where the pictures are already on my phone. Instead of having to download the pictures from our phones to a computer then uploading the pictures to or page. It would eliminate having to go through so many steps just to upload pictures on our page.
Hope this update fixes my problems
by revsjh on 2013/04/12 15:47
So far my biggest complaint with this app is that if I have the regular Facebook app open and the pages app open, going to the regular one bounces me back to this one. it is a little bit of a pain, as I update both my personal and my fan page sometimes multiple times a day (I am a photographer). Glad to have landscape mode. I never work in portrait mode. Hopefully here is good things to come, as I use my iPad more and more. My laptop has become for heavy video editing only. ----------------- Update April 12, 2013 - recent updates work great and fixed my problems. Still supports my first generation ipad. Still my only complaint with the ipad /iphone facebook apps is no sharing. I need to share my posts to my business facebook page on my personal page as not all my friends liked my business page at this time. I also need to share to the groups I belong to and need the post to come from my business page. It is a pain to remember to copy all i typed before hitting post. Also, on the road, i mostly have my ipad not my laptop (laptop allows sharing). It is much easier to use the app than to open a web browser when using mobile devices.
Better, but still needs some help
by jwilson294 on 2013/05/15 14:19
Allowing the separation from the personal page is nice, but the ability to post on the page I manage using my personal page as the narrator would be helpful as well. I currently manage two pages for my business- one for the customers and one I'd like to keep private for my employees. We have created work arounds by inviting all employees as administrators and simply keeping the page unpublished. The option to have a private page would be better. We would prefer the page over the group option since it could allow us some measurability as to what kind of posts out staff care about and how they interact, but keeping it unpublished keeps us from gaining those benefits. Private page pls? Also the complications with the photo albums is a bit of a headache- trying to post things from the cell phone and create cute updates with pictures has become more difficult. We have one element to our business that has updates every other week or so. I would like a comprehensive album of all the activities captured in it for customers to view our past activities, while still offering me the option of easily featuring current activity pictures on the page. This is currently difficult on the page via the cell as well as the computer.
Messaging truly is dismal, notifications are terrible.
by Jetetaquine on 2015/02/16 21:38
When a customer messages us, we get a notification. When we reply, the message takes a very long time to send. The app helpfully tries to inform us of this, with a notification that says "Your message is taking a long time to send." Instead of coding that message, why not fix the issue so messages don't take a long time to send, huh? When the message finally sends and the customer replies, their reply doesn't show up until we back out of the message string, back out of messages, and go back in. Notifications about comments and likes are essentially unusable. The other day we had a troll posting some truly offensive comments, and we'd get a notification that he commented, but clicking the notification does not take us directly to the comment, just to the comments section of the post. So, we have to scroll through hundreds of comments and reply threads, manually looking for offensive material. Please make one notification per comment, and make clicking that notification take us to that specific comment! This would save me hours. As it is, I'm reluctant to continue advertising on Facebook because it isn't worth my time to police the increased comment traffic using this inefficient system.
Needs lots of improvement! ASAP!
by Bakinbaconwithmacon on 2013/10/27 02:22
First off the app is useable, but I have many issues with it. If you try to like sponsor pages as your page, the app instantly crashes, and you don't even like the page anyways. That's junk. Second, you cannot view followers personal pages from the page app, and that's kind of dumb too. If I am getting likes on my page, I would like to be able to check out a couple things about the people who are following rather than switch to the fb app, funnel through my pages and groups section, find the person from there, and proceed onward. 3rd, the message sending as a page is filled with bugs. Very slow, and sometimes it will send 2-3 copies of a message too. 4th from time to time, the insights for the amount of people your posts have reached will just up and vanish. Sometimes for a few hours, other times for a few days! Please update this app to be more compatible with the new iOS versions of iPhone/iPod/iPad and make life a little easier for those of us that use the page on a day to day basis! Too many bugs, glitches, and limitations. At this point, I'd rather just use the computer!
Poor Function, Good Concept
by Preshus30 on 2013/03/19 05:13
This app has too many flaws to list, many of them involve consistent freezing. One of the biggest ones I can see is when you try to go to the sidebar you have to go back through every page or event you've loaded before you can open the sidebar menu, this is really inconvenient! Facebook is set high standards for themselves and for everybody who uses their programs. Facebook needs to reanalyze it and almost completely rebuild it. As much as it would be nice to have to look of Facebook and the functionality something more practical is in order. We are page users and business owners as much as we like to use Facebook personally, something for businesses and other pages can be more cut and dry. Just so we can have the speed and access to the important information we need as page owners to keep up with member demands. Facebook has a good concept going, they just really need to work with it a bit more. I think the more they work with it and the more they tweak it, the better it will become and before long will be the most masterful tool for editing your page, it may even come close to a website editing tool.
Great idea, still needs some work
by Bdasselin on 2014/09/17 18:14
This is a great idea for those of us actually managing a Facebook page, or even better if managing multiple pages. The app is great for checking some things and getting notifications. However, the app doesn't work the same as the web interface. For example, when adding an event, you cannot simply enter the name of a place like through the web interface, you need to "find" a place and turn on location services. This needs to change and it does not work for me at all on the app so I have to use the web. Similar issue with approving posts. The app doesn't let me do this at all, only gives me the option to hide posts from others when they are hidden by default and need to be approved in order to become public. This is something I was really expecting to be able to do with the app. Great idea and still useful as it is, but needs some work before I can give it more than an average rating and I am hoping the changes/fixes come because I really want this app to do everything I need to do to manage pages.
Typical Facebook Garbage
by Holesinozone on 2012/06/10 22:06
From the braindead burnout that brought you the basically unusable Facebook Mobile app comes this hunk of crap. Billed as a way to "manage your Facebook pages on the fly", in reality this app only really allows you to post on your own page's wall as yourself. That's literally it! That's all! You cannot add or edit pictures in your galleries. You cannot view or respond to messages sent to your page. You cannot comment on other pages or even navigate to other Facebook pages with this app. Also in typical Facebook fashion this app is riddled with glitches and bugs. Other peoples posts on your page appear and disappear at random. Notifications are sketchy at best. Sometimes it says you have notifications but won't refresh to allow you to view them. And sometimes the notifications get lost somewhere along the line before they even reach you. Although not nearly as buggy as Facebook Mobile, this app is a profound frustration right in line with much of the half-assed garbage Zuckerberg has crapped out in recent years. If he's at all curious as to why his company's stock is in free fall, maybe he should ask whatever moron programmer he has developing these horrible applications.
Very Limited.
by zZDeadRiseZz on 2012/12/21 23:50
The app itself is jam-packed with bugs in it. There are problems with posting statuses, scheduling them, and even deleting them. The very same goes for uploading images; every time I try to upload something, it always returns with a “Sorry, due to technical difficulties, etc. etc., please try again later.” message. On top of that, the app itself is insanely limited in its amount of features. These restrictions to the user include, but are not limited to the following: adding/editing Admins and their permissions, editing the page description, changing the cover photo of the timeline, it's ability to navigate other pages on Facebook while under the identity of the page, and not being able to create a new page from within the application. Personally, I would rather purchase a desktop and use Facebook on the desktop site to edit my pages. Honestly, this app has really wasted my time and patience. The Facebook mobile app can manage your pages better than the app built specifically to do it! If you can fix these issues, then I would recommend this; otherwise, don't even waste your time downloading it. It's not even worth the memory it consumes.
Great app! Still some limited functionality
by Tarramisu on 2013/02/28 15:26
This app is continually improving! However still has some limited admin functionality. The photo bugs seem to have been ironed out! However the only current admin function i really wish was available would be to be able to share photos. I can only use this functionality from my home base mac. Id be able to do my business from my ios iphone if this was available. i share products from my page daily! Please help & bring this functionality. confident that with all the positive criticism this app will forge forward & continue to make this app better! Just need more behind the scene admin functionality! Also, when responding to a customers comment, i'd like to use the customers name specifically like in Facebook so i know they'll see it! Other than that, this app is amazing & was created for the right reason just not fully there yet! It'll happen!!! :) thanks guys!
Non-Social Social Networking App? Why?
by DMDG MUSIC on 2013/10/04 06:58
I have to agree with others, There's nothing this app does in addition to the existing app that makes it worthwhile. The missing functionality that would be required for the page makes it completely unnecessary. The whole point of social networking, especially in the case of a page, is the chance for page managers to interact with fans interested in who they are or their product. In this case the inability to do such a simple thing as mentioning someone in a comment response does a lot to cripple a page manager's ability to make use of this app for successful management of a Facebook page. The features are out there on the desktop browser version, so Facebook obviously knows it's important. Why the missing functionality at such a basic level? The list goes on in regards to missing functionality with this application. My suggestion… Don't waste your time releasing a nap that doesn't provide basic needs when it is already available from a mobile browser, and definitely don't waste your time downloading an app that hasn't fulfilled such simple requirements.
It is supposed to be better than the FB app right?
by darthkat on 2012/07/09 05:26
Too much missing. Neither FB app has share options, you can't tag people in posts (except as "with" and that isn't how I want it) can't tag other pages for cross marketing and other uses, can't edit albums, important for retail info, can't click posts from other people to see their pages or profiles to post on their pages, when I can click a link, it takes me out of the app, so I can't post as my page, it posts as my profile, or when I like, it is as my profile, not my page which is what I want to do. Yes all things can be done on the computer, but many of us spend a lot of time mobile, as I was this weekend and this weekend it was important to share and network, to help generate more likes, and I couldn't so it was pretty useless. For people who take their pages seriously, why give them an even more stripped down second app? I can do a tiny bit more in the FB app, like post as my page. It's just not helpful if all you have is insights, oh and you can't even see the list of who likes your page.
Pretty good
by Loren Molloy on 2014/12/24 15:47
I have said this before and I'm asking again Please allow the app to see and utilize the phones multiple photo folders. I have different folders of pictures for different projects and to have all of them lumped into one folder is horrendous. That one folder causes it to become a nightmare to find one particular photo. Also I should be able to comment as myself personally instead of only being able to comment as the page Im using & tagging others needs work as does the ability to repost something with what you wrote being also reposted. As it is right now if I choose to repost a status from someone else (ex. Quote from Steve Jobs) and I choose to write a caption of my own to be included The person who likes my caption and chooses to repost it Can not (as of right now) have my caption included only the reposted status(example:quote from Steve jobs only) Those things being fixed would be greatly appreciated!
Only Somewhat Helpful
by Mawk3 on 2013/09/08 16:18
Perhaps I am missing things, but I think our analytics/notifications could use some work. These are also some complaints I have for the Facebook app itself. We never get notified when someone shares our photos, we cannot see who likes our page unless we're logged in as ourselves in which case I can only see who on MY friends list likes the page. Probably for privacy issues but we would like to offer incentives to those who do like our page being that our business is just starting up. It does help to have this handy on my phone, but I find myself running up to my desktop to fix things. Especially if I made a status update on my phone, but it had a typo in it. An edit post feature would be great to have on the app. If its already there, then ignore this, but I don't know how to fix a typo or other error other than deleting my post and then rewriting/uploading everything all over again just to fix a simple mistake, which is very cumbersome in my opinion. Because of that I use the computer to make posts and only have the app to track things.
It's a start... I guess.
by alexevans917 on 2012/06/05 03:16
I was really psyched when I saw this app. A separate app to manage Facebook pages. Awesome. The regular Facebook app is appallingly bad for managing pages (displays that you have notifications for the page but you can't see them...), so this must be designed to let you take advantage of all the cool page features that are not available to mobile users. No. Not quite. Notifications are sparse. No way to read or even be aware of messages to your page. Glitchy updating, so it's faster to look at the page in the normal app and guess what the notification is than to wait for the Pages app to update. There's also still no way of accessing different tabs within your page, other than photos and about and a cut down and less helpful version of the Likes page where you can see who's viewing your page, etc. The fact that there is still no mobile support at all for any of the apps that are on Facebook pages is ridiculous and I was really hoping this app would fix it. I hope that the next update addresses some, if not all of the problems above. I shall hold out for that.
Facebook is doomed...
by WarMaster Photos on 2013/01/17 07:03
...for many reasons, a big one being their apps are worthless. They work, I guess, but the amount of things you CAN'T do with them is astounding. You have to login every time you open this one. Insights are limited. You can't view event pages. (That seems pretty important.) You are informed if someone posted on your wall...but you're given no option to click it and see what they said. You can't invite anyone to events (you can with the other FB app...by SEARCHING THEIR NAME). Ugh, I could go on for years. Facebook apps are a ludicrous, insulting joke. I know they're free and Facebook doesn't owe us anything... but the entire experience, at this point, is awful. They've never made the slightest attempt to make their services better or less painful for page owners (meaning half the waking world). Nowadays you have to pay Facebook money to get your posts seen by anybody anyway. It's time to move on, people. Facebook is for grandmas now. In 2013, Google+ and Tumblr are going to take over. By 2014, Facebook will be dead and gone and we'll think of it like the crappy haircut we had in middle school.
Why???
by HeatherJ.H. on 2013/06/02 16:04
I feel like every update takes away functions that were helpful. Why can I not change the cover photo from my ap? The point of having the band page is to have a way to keep our fans engaged and communicate with them. I feel like Facebook makes this as difficult as possible. Even with promoted posts, we get so many comments from fans who say "you were in my town? If I'd known I would have come to the show." This is incredibly frustrating. Why on EARTH do we not have the capability it message our fans? If they "liked" our page, it's obvious that they want to hear from us. And why can we not create events from our fan page and send out to all of our fans? This isn't like harassing an entire friend list from one's profile page. I feel like the band pages are a different thing and should be treated differently. If Facebook does not become more helpful to the band community, it's only a matter of time until someone creates a platform that is, and there will be a mass exodus from Facebook, just as there was from MySpace TO Facebook a few years back.
Needs much more improvement
by Jonathon.P on 2013/04/21 18:03
I love the fact that I can create a page and draw in audiences of like-minded individuals but this app is so limited.. I would like more customizable settings, photo albums, I think it would be a great idea for Facebook to finally add hash tags to further merge together conversation and topics ESPECIALLY WITH PAGES.. It would be nice to have groups, add documents or PDFs for posting bulletins or Events for PAGES, and a more intricate system to draw more people to "Like" your personalized page.. The people at Facebook are really doing a great job innovating the FB app we all know and love today, but why have we forgotten about pages? Here's an idea: How about we put PAGES and the FB app together, just like they tried to have a Camera app and Messaging app separate it has proved to be more effective to keep everything in one place, much more convenient and seamless.. Facebook is a part of everyone's life, serves as a Living Breathing Life Newspaper and we would love the Folks at FB to create that experience seamless through one app ! PS - Instagram on FB? #Facebookneedshashtagsandpagesinoneapp :) - nycnewera
Half-functional
by Bham-Hill on 2013/01/04 13:27
While it's cool to have a dedicated app to administer pages, the app falls short of even the current features available in the regular facebook. The "positives" of this app are all things one would expect from it, so only the glaring negatives are mentioned here: Status updates are limited/truncated; the app does not allow landscape mode; you cannot add/remove members from groups; you cannot remove likes; you cannot manage your ads; page statistics do not update frequently and are not as detailed as on the computer; you cannot select profile or cover pictures from existing fb albums but at forced to take a new one or upload from phone (thus if you want to switch back to a previous photo via mobile, you have do download it to your phone then re-upload it anew). In all, this falls far short of my expectations from a reputedly crack team of developers at a publicly traded company. Come on guys...y'all aren't in Mark's basement anymore.
Needs improvement
by SavagePatchKids on 2013/06/16 22:01
There is no way to see the newsfeed at all- which you cannot share pictures or posts from. There are very limited benefits of using this application over the regular Facebook manager- even the insights are difficult to find and less thorough now. In fact, I can't think of one feature offhand that the regular FB app doesn't take care of. The only reason I haven't uninstalled it is because I am hoping for some EXTREME updates, especially in pertinence to access to one's own photos, editing & sharing. Also, I would like to able to pin posts to the top of my page and have tagging abilities (especially given the new hashtag capabilities on the desktop site) in both status updates and in photos from the Pages application. Added the scheduled post option to every sharing feature would be great, as well- it only comes up currently when copying and pasting links. I really hope to see these (or even better) upgrades in the future. Thank you for your time.
Glitchy and crappy
by Lorandrea on 2014/08/17 17:43
I'm forced to use this app because I have to manage my business page on the go, but I have to say it's very poorly designed. If you hold your finger down too long – which is a necessity on an iPhone if you're trying to place your cursor accurately – it just posts what you're writing right in the middle of what you're doing. It also doesn't give you the option to edit nine times out of 10 – I have no idea why sometimes the edit option appears but the rest of the time it doesn't, but it's a piece of garbage and they really need to fix it. I don't know if this was designed by Facebook, or if this is an independent app, but it's typical of everything associated with Facebook – poor design, poor execution, lousy interface. Another complaint – you can't cruise other pages in order to share posts. I have to go through all sorts of contortions with my other Facebook app to make that happen. And you don't even want to hear about the problems that thing gives me.
Great App! Only minor downfalls
by Squid_Baby on 2012/09/29 06:25
Love this App, helps me stay on top of all my comments, questions & inquires about my paintings. The only thing I would change is being able to see who is "talking about" my page or the ability to change my pages name, even after it has over 200 "likes". I would also like to be able to see who all my fans are, by clicking the, "total likes". It would also be cool if I could sell my paintings from my page, I'm not sure if that's possible or not, but if it is, I'm unaware of it. Basically, I would like to have more guidance in showing me how to utilize my page better. I feel like there's not enough explanation or guidance provided & feel like I've had to do a lot of trail & error with a lot of the features. I know that sounds like a lot of things need to be improved but overall, I love this app & love being able to access my page so quickly. 🎨
Add a feature please!
by midnightrealm on 2014/11/18 22:16
I don't really do reviews. But in this case I will because I use this app a lot. First of all I have no complaints except maybe just adding some features to it. My biggest one would be a way to see photos tagged to you because throughout the day, away from my computer, I would like the ability to repost some of the photos tagged to me. Also the other thing is being able to view photo albums and such. We have no way to get into our pictures unless it's recent on our newsfeed. So that would be nice. Especially as a photographer who wants to use fb as a portfolio. The app is smooth and fast (used on an iPhone 5) if it's slow for you then it's most likely your phone and/or operating system. So please make these things happen. It would be awesome. Looking foreword to Facebook at Work.
Needs improvement to be a successful media tool
by Chicago Flaneur on 2012/12/29 15:58
As a social-media manager for a luxury hotel and a top U.S. restaurant, I use Facebook Pages daily. While the updates continue to improve the app, Facebook needs to understand that businesses using this app must be have the same functionality as the website. I can't "pin" a post to the top. I can't "edit" a post once it is posted. None of this matters much for my personal page, where the stakes are low and I can wait, but if Facebook wants to continue to be taken seriously as a media platform for businesses large and small, then it simply must make this functionality available in the app--or if not in the app, at least in the tablet version of Facebook on the browser. I currently have three ways to access Facebook on my iPad--browser, Facebook app, Pages app--and none of them allow me to edit or pin posts. And so once again I find myself making a 45-minute trip to my laptop to make a minor but important function on my browser.
Way Too Many Bugs. Wish I Had The Older Version
by OutdoorEyes on 2013/08/22 11:07
Tremendous amount of bugs: 1. Can't view all your new members. 2. Took away the ability to edit your scheduled posts. I use it all the time and now I have to go to my computer to do all my changes. I can't even edit the text if I go to the website on my phone. 3. Now the regular Facebook App doesn't list the newest comments and members. 4. The list more button to see additional posts does not work. You can only see a few posts and older posts can not be viewed. 5. If you promote an older post with the computer, you can not continue to promote it because you can't view it. 6. Can't see my calendar posting, 7. Many of the side buttons don't work, 8. Moved the scheduled listing button to a stupid place on the screen for when you scroll down to view your posts, you now have to scroll all the way up again to view your scheduled posts when before, the button was always on top. 9. Now you have to use the Facebook App, Pages App and your computer to make all the changes and addition, when before you had to rarely use your computer. 10. The statistic numbers for a single post never match on the Facebook App, Pages and the computer. You have to always look at all 3 places to figure out the right statistics. 11. Too many more bugs and I am tired of writing them... This was not an upgrade, it was a downgrade. And why hasn't a reply to a comment been fixed/added. It does not post the reply to the comment.

I enjoy the pages feature! Kudos~ I would give 5 stars if the write post side also had the ability to upload other forms of media such as video, photos, etc. I also recommend the ability to like as your own name on Facebook when clicking the page from your linked account. Most importantly, when posting more text- the see more feature takes you to another page to type more but when attempting to tab down after pasting information it is very hard to verify what you have typed or to even correct it as it toggles between done and see more not allowing you to do anything but click back. That needs to be expanded for editing because on the iPhone you can only view it vertically and once the text display pops you can only see so much of the space to type. Please fix that. Thanks!
If it ever loads...
by Tinadino3677 on 2015/03/30 19:14
I like that i can work with my page separately through this app....but its a pain to use at times. I dont always get notified when i have new notifications. I dont get the sound or the little badge icon even though they are set up that way. When i do get them, it takes forever to update and actually tell me my new notifications and messages. I see the new notification icons but when clicking them the icons go away and nothing is new. Close the app, open, new notifications but they don't load. Takes a few tries. Also, when someone shares one of my posts, it tells me but never shows me. It just sends me back to my page. This app needs a lot of work. Again this app is horrible. Update after update but it doesn't fix old problems and I really don't see any improvements. Still does NOT show me a badge icon for new notifications ONLY for messages. Never for new likes, comments, or shares. I shouldn't have to open an app to get new notifications to show up. Now my problem is the opposite of before!! Now I constantly have a badge notification and there is nothing in the app! I click and open and refresh everything I can and it takes forever for the badge notification to go away and I usually never can tell what I did to remove it! Seriously your guys in tech are a joke. And now the pictures in the messages won't load. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I DONT PAY TO BOOST MY POSTS!! Why would I pay for a service that never works?!
Useful, but still flaky
by Paul Braun on 2012/12/24 16:26
Every new revision seems to fix one thing and break two more. There are still a lot of things you can't manage on your page with the app. And when you share photos, you are severely limited as to the length of caption, while no such limitation exists on the web version. Once you manage to get a photo posted, and fans comment on it, you do not have the ability to either "like" or delete comments. The iOS version also lacks the ability to share a video clip, something that should be natural for an app that runs on essentially a video camera. As other reviewers have mentioned, it does still crash a lot. I manage a couple of fan pages for musicians, and I often get frustrated enough to just go to those pages in the regular app (which has plenty of its own quirks and limitations). One of the other frustrating things is that the iPhone and iPod versions behave quite a bit differently. Maybe one of these days, Facebook will actually take these apps seriously and do a thorough rebuild/testing/functionality cycle. Social media is, by nature, a mobile thing. Not giving you full functions in the mobile app shows a lack of understanding that. Also, the most recent update broke the login mechanism so I have to log in every freakin' time I launch the app. Not a useful "feature".
Profiles
by Slyami59 on 2014/05/09 12:16
I do love our dogs "Cause" Page. A few suggestions. If we could tap on other peoples profile picture and be able to go to their page like we can on regular Facebook. And if you could slide in another "Pin to top" selection so we can have 2 things that are important to keep up top. Can there be a follow button to follow someone on causes or community pages? It would be nice to actually see who is a follower on one list. I'd like to be able to tap on someone's profile picture as we can do on personal page to go to their page. Also, hardly anyone sees my page without paying money so more people see it. On a Cause page one would think it would be accessible for everyone to see. And last but not least why can't we "edit" a post after it goes up like on our personal page? At least have the same features as regular personal pages.
Well, it's better than nothing.
by HSyren on 2012/11/27 18:22
It doesn't always send notifications. You can't save your own photos to your phone, something that is helpful when you need to tumblr a post. No zooming in on photos, helpful when a partner posts. When inside app, sometimes it tells you on the page menu if there is a notification, sometimes you have to go to the page to find out. Super annoying when you have four pages to manage. I think it should be more cohesive in actions as the FB app. Lots of stuff that is counter intuitive because it functions differently than said app. Update: Still not enough like original FBook app and now, since the update, it is SLOWER. Ugh. Update II: ok. Just fix this already. Take the original fb app and change it *just enough* to apply to pages. I can't check on posts by others. The photos are all weird and I can't zoom in. It's slow. Sometimes I don't get an update for days. Please. Make it better already.
Needs A LOT of work
by rgtwma on 2013/01/25 15:56
It's decent for quick status updates, but I'd really like to be able to: A) Update Page information (about, location, etc) - just make sure it asks for a password before making those changes; B) Tag people and other businesses in posts; C) See my Page's newsfeed (as opposed to my own); D) Queue posts with images for future posts (This issue is particularly frustrating to me because I can queue regular posts and ones with links, but the queuing option disappears when I add an image.); and E) When posting a link, show the preview so I can delete the full URL from the post itself. Basically, I want more full-experience editing and updating options as the normal laptop browser. As a small start-up, we are often on-the-go, and we are usually carrying only our iPhones or iPads with us. It would also be nice to have a pin security option before submitting posts. They're easy enough to delete - if, for example, your child manages to get into your app while using your phone as a racecar - but you could have the option to turn it on or off if you didn't have such potential issues. Finally, why does it have to log in every time I open the app now? It didn't used to do this. What's worse is that now it only loads about 50% of the time. I used to be opposed to third party apps for FB, but now something else might be worth it.
Broken now in my opinion
by PoeDiddley on 2014/06/24 16:54
My biggest gripe about this new update is the placement of messages. It is now a two step process to read messages. Before it had its own button, but now you have to click on the lightning bolt (whoever chose that to be a button should be shot), and then click on messages. This seems counter intuitive, as messages are by far the most used section, so why make it more cumbersome to get to them? I'm also not impressed by the addition of identifying who created the post. Can this be turned off? If so give us a button. This update may have added a few somewhat desired options, but at the cost of making the interface less intuitive. Fix the messages so I don't have to click on two buttons to get to it and that will be a healthy start to making me more happy with it. I use this app every day, so I feel like I have a right to complain. Fix it and I will give a higher rating.
Issues
by David Birkholz on 2015/01/23 15:22
I use in on my iPad and my phone. When viewing comments from my iPad it does not show comments in order of when they were posted. It groups all comments that the page responds too and then all comments followers post. It is super confusing when trying to respond to people who comment on the page looking for info. It never use to do that before all these bi weekly updates. Please fix. Also I want to be able to tag followers easier. Anyone who likes the page should be able to be tagged in a post. I cannot do that unless I am friends with them on my personal Facebook page. I am not going to add over 800 people to my personal page just so I can tag them. Also I cannot update a header from the iPad for a event. You can only do that on a personal computer. Please address these issues soon. So it is easier to reach my followers!
Glad it exists. Would like to have more capabilities
by Mris417 on 2013/04/09 18:56
I like being able to post status & photos, but I agree with some reviewers that when you write a long post on iPhone (don't know if its same for other phones), it is difficult to edit because you need to scroll down. Sometimes when I need to scroll down, it won't let me & as another reviewer mentioned, I need to type blindly. One trick I discovered for scrolling is keeping my finger on the text as if I was going to select text to cut/copy/paste & then let go where I want to continue typing. But then again, I'm still typing blindly. Frustrating! I, too, would like to post from my Pages onto my personal FB page. I would also like to comment/endorse on other pages as my business, but I can't figure out how to do it via iPhone. I could only do it when I am in Pages on my computer. :(
A good start
by Bloodhound1974 on 2012/12/06 07:58
Pages is a good start for Facebook users with a business page. I have had multiple versions and am happy to see the Facebook folks taking it more seriously. I wish it loaded faster, and offered more features on the mobile app to compliment what you can do from a PC/Mac. The graphs are interesting, but they look like something you can click on to get more detailed information, but not the case. The information collected is somewhat valuable, but lower level sourcing of the insights info would be more interesting for my small business. Also, I want more control over posting and sharing links as my business to my page. Most of the time these links default to my personal Facebook identity, from which I can't then promote within the app. They have some growth, but the platform is there. Lets hope they develop it further.
Needs a lot of work
by Breanna Ellis on 2013/05/30 06:05
I'm a very positive and lenient person when it comes to reviews. However, I sent a message to the help link that was provided 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back. At the time it was one issue, but after using the app more I found other frustrations. I can't edit photos, such as move them to a different album. Also, I don't want to have to share my page every time I want to invite someone to like the page. I hope in the future I can invite friends to my page on a consistent basis verses every now and then it allows me to. I wish I could edit my page itself like the "about me" portion of a profile page, but more geared towards the page's purpose. When I initially made the page there was a chance for me to add that portion in, but now I can't figure out on my iPhone 5 with full service and a great wifi signal how to edit it on pages, fb app or safari. Blaaaa. I hope this can be improved or explained in the help page.
Superb ^_^ !!!!!!!!!!
by RustiiAqua on 2012/12/30 18:12
This app is great... ^_^ it really captures a large majority of those needs one has when managing a page... It makes it really easy to share statuses, pictures videos etc easily directly to the page and place them into its respective album or grouping...this app seem much easier to me than other page managing apps and will definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for such an application ^_^ most marvelously I particularly love the speed of providing notifications and likes on the page etc... ^_^ However reason being for not giving not giving 5 stars, honestly it's minor but should be noted the unfortunate inability to tag... I kind of do a lot of tagging so it's issue for me not one that can't be resolved otherwise but it still is until further notice ^_^
Too little functionality
by Exavior on 2013/09/24 06:14
As a business owner managing my company page, I need to schedule posts and batches of images for release at appropriate times. This app has very little functionality to offer. I feel better off trying to use the Facebook website on my iPhone in desktop mode (as mobile mode has crippled functionality much like this app) Ask page owners what functionality they need to successfully manage a page from a mobile device, and set that as your success metric. This app clearly does not meet our needs. After many updates this app is still feature starved. I still can not schedule a post with a picture. I can post a picture or schedule a post, but not both. And I still can not browse my company page's feed to see updates by the community of pages my page has liked. FIX IT!!!!!!!! Or at least fix you POS mobile site to match the desktop site functionality. Responsive? Honestly your lack of updates to address the most basic feature requests an glaring issues makes me wish there were a rating option less than one star. The app alone has not failed. By neglecting to update it you have failed. The whole point of apps is to offer MORE FUNCTIONALITY than a mobile site can, and you have somehow found a way to offer less functionality than you lackluster mobile site. You should be ashamed.
Works well but... Why no events?
by bigswell on 2012/12/03 00:56
This app is pretty handy. It is definitely easier and more efficient to use Facebook's Pages app to upload photos, post a status, and respond to interaction on your Facebook page, then it is to navigate the Facebook app for that purpose. For one thing, use Pages and you won't get time sucked by personal chatter and/or the Newsfeed. I have been able to use the Pages app to post photos, status updates, and respond to messages, comments and posts from others on our page. I don't really have the need to switch between various pages, but it does allow you to do that if you have multiple ventures you are promoting on Facebook. I have not found a way to post an event on this app. To me, this seems like a major omission, and one that demotes the app couple of stars. When I started using Pages, it would give me a handy counter on the app's icon to let me know when I had interactions to respond to. It seems to have stopped working.?.. So, a few bugs to work out, but if you spend any time at all updating a Facebook page and long to untether yourself from your desktop computer, this might offer you some freedom. Incidentally, it seems odd that this app and Apple's own page layout app have the same name.
One step forward, two back
by Mdjlevy on 2013/01/07 00:15
I think its a very good idea to make a separate app specifically to handle tasks associated with the pages in facebook. That said, this App should be a standalone app meaning: All features available on a computer should be available on this app, and things that are improved upon should not be removed as more updates come out. - I cannot update my cover photo (Why can't this be an option on all posted photos or an option to add to an album) - I cannot create photo albums anymore (if so not easy to find) and the mass upload feature (ability to select group of photos and place in a album) is no longer available or not easy to find. - Cannot share posts from the page on other peoples or more importantly on my own facebook wall. I run a detailing business that relies heavily on facebook advertising, and PICTURES. I have lost a lot of flexibility to work from my iPad. Overall, good potential. However, when you make an update make sure that you are not making other features worse as you are improving other areas. If these things are fixed I jump to 4 stars, and if the app becomes more of a page manager as opposed to a page viewer which is what it is now (I even prefer the interface in the regular facebook app to the pages app) then easy 5 stars
Good. But it could be better.
by Zomenomie on 2013/01/16 07:20
I like the app for what it provided, but it could provide more, and there's really no reason it shouldn't. This is coming from someone who has dabbled in design and programming. I'm on an iPhone 4S, 32GB. iOS 6.0.1 For starters, having to "login" every time you open the app (unless you're checking it every few minutes). Also, I'd like to be able to check my feed and see feed posts from other pages that I've liked through my page. I'd also like to be able to search for, like, and comment on other pages. The standard Facebook app allows one to do this, so there's no reason it shouldn't be available on this one. Managing admins wouldn't be a bad feature either. Being able to add and remove them at any time. As for now, these are the only flaws I can see. Everything else seems to run perfectly. Statuses and photos upload just fine. I can like and reply to comments with no issues at all. My suggestion to you guys would be to just take the regular Facebook app, and build this one from that one. Login and features work just the same, but it logs you into your pages instead. I'm posting this with best intentions. I know how important product feedback is, and I hope it helps you guys! Thank you! ~Z~
Not easy to use.
by MrHappy4Life on 2013/02/07 14:56
For one, I hate that I can't just use the real Facebook app to switch to act as my page on the iPad and start searching and liking other people's pages. That said, it's also not an option for this app. You can not look at Facebook from this app, you can only manage things on your page. I also have found a bug that when you have it sideways and want to write a long story, since sideways has the large keyboard to type more, it does not make a larger area to see what you are typing or have the ability to scroll down. I had to type the last half of my post totally not seeing what I was typing. I totally hate this app and think they should improve the real Facebook app so it has the ability to post as your page from it. But since they are all about making money from you buying their ads to promote your page, don't think they will.

I got the new iPhone to manage my page while out and about. The app is great and I love it but there are two things I would like to see fixed/added. Number one; when I exit out of the app in the middle of a post to check a website for info on said post sometimes when I switch back over it will delete the post. Not a huge deal as I can obviously type it over but would be much more convenient if I didn't have to do this. Number two; I don't see my notes section anywhere. This section is actually a very vital part to my page as I have dates listed conveniently for my viewers. If it is there, I can't see it and I apologize but maybe making it more visible would help. If it is not then I would love for this feature to be added. Thanks!
Does the job!
by No bible? No breakfast! on 2013/04/03 15:20
I was looking for an app that enables posting/photo updates on the go, and Pages does that. My recommended improvement is to fix a bug that makes longer text postings difficult. Longer texts become covered up with the keyboard and make it difficult to add/edit to bottom portions of long text postings - and scroll function won't move text up to make bottom portion tapable. For example if I cut-and-paste a long text, it will go I to the draft text box, but then when I tap in the box to make final edit, only the first few lines are visible while rest is covered with keyboard. Only workaround is to blindly tap on lower text and hope new typing enters where you were aiming. Fixing this would improve functionality for verbose users, thanks!
Multiple Pictures at once
by Erniepav on 2013/05/16 19:33
It's alright, I've had this app since about January and have had to delete it and re-install it a few times due to bugs. What I really wish is that you could add multiple pictures at once and not have to add them one by one.. Sometimes I will add a picture and write something and it says "picture not shared" or something and I have to rewrite everything! So I just copy it now... But adding multiple pictures at once would make it so much easier! I have a page for my Pug and she's pretty interesting so I take a lot of pictures of her and it takes a long time to upload them one by one and I think people would enjoy it more if they could go through a slideshow of the pictures and not have to look at them one at a time.. If you did that I will definitely add a star or two!
Depleted excitement
by Threeboyz2girls on 2013/09/06 14:40
Just echoing what most others have said here. *sigh* I was SO excited when I saw there was going to be a pages app, but that soon fizzled after seeing the elementary of it all. Ugh. Yes, it's nice to be able to post on the go, but I'd love to have all the ability of the regular fb app. I mean why not? The technology is obviously there, why not just apply it to this app? I want to be able to post as my page!!! Gr! Id like to be able to see other pages and share onto mu page too! Also, PLEASE give the ability to copy & paste! Not sure if that's an iPhone thing or what, since I also can't do so on the regular fb app, but that's one thing in general that makes me want to throw my newly purchased phone in the trash. Please please update this app and make my life easier!! :)

Lame

Pretty pointless. Also can't share a post to this from my personal page. Lame.
There could be a couple changes
by Mastiffs Rule on 2015/09/02 14:05
There could be a couple changes. The first I'd recommend is, letting the messages from pages actually give an alert when they come in. Second, better arrangements for photos. Third, a search feature.
Seriously?

Add tags for words to make searching easier. Example I post recipes would be nice for Someone to search all recipes or chicken recipes etc Still need more capabilities via phone .....Would be amazing if you could add a CMS capability to blog through here and add pictures throughout the story.. Can you tell use this app a lot!
Lack of functionality...
by TravisTheMavis on 2015/08/31 15:01

Nothing but issues
by photo_mama_ca on 2015/08/30 00:56
I've been having nothing but issues with this app when it comes to notifications and messages. I downloaded the app for convenience to my business and for people to contact me without giving out my personal information. It does not stay current and continuously says connecting, because it somehow lost the connection?! And I'm not even getting all my notifications. If it wasn't a bigger hassle just to use the computer I would delete the app, although I'm seriously considering it anyway.

I used to be able to post multiple pics as the main post. Now it only allows you to select 1 picture for a post. All the rest have to be added as a new post or in the comments. Totally not cool. Basic FB feature - to add multiple pics in a single post. Fix this please!!!

Good app

Add this Feature
by flavorchaser on 2015/08/16 15:31
We should be able to search other pages to like and add a messaging ability. So if I am using the page app I would like to be able to search for pages to like using that page. And I would love to be able to message other pages from that page. This would be an awesome feature...
Crash...

Thank you. I agree with some of the other issues as well such as not being able to read someone's comment on your post from a notification that there is one.

by Derp McHerp on 2015/08/10 17:50
I wish there was a viable alternative social network like those halcyon days of the great migration from MySpace to FaceBook. Alas, I must put up with yet another nugget in the toilet bowl of obnoxiousness. Today's idiocy has me trying and failing to tag followers in photo albums. Before, I could just switch to my page and add individuals and organizations. Facebook pls. Stahp.

Ugh
by <AleuMarx3 on 2015/08/06 04:32
Love this app to death.
Delete.

- It doesn't reliably notify you of messages or page activity, but there's no way to turn off the obnoxious and frequent reminders to DROP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND UPDATE YOUR PAGE RIGHT NOW OR YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR FOLLOWERS OMG THE SKY IS FALLING.

by Guns-N-Chocolates on 2015/08/02 14:28
Since the main FB app doesn't do it, I had high hopes and expectations that this app would let me see the feed of what my page had liked/subscribed to. Alas, no, only lets me see my own page's wall. Guess I'll have to just use the desktop browser interface to do my perusing and aggregating of other feeds. Disappointed.

Please make this option a reality in your next update!

by My Appy1 on 2015/07/23 10:32
I enjoy using this app because it works with how I operate while keeping things light I also keep things fun while managing my pages and checking on gamers interactions couldn't be more innovative, I download codes on CSS and create New ones all in the same page of the user so they can feel my contributions towards their work and ends up working out for the best especially me! Winners every time! My Ads are important to users so what better way to monitor their usage than popping in to let them know i appreciate their hard work.

Posting links? Don't use this app
by Cat B Lou on 2015/07/18 14:31
If you post a lot of links, this app won't help you much. It won't post a preview image, just the URL itself, which of course, isn't going to catch many people's interest at all. Other functions are ok, but I have to post enough links that I'm better off with a desktop PC than using this app

by xHoranx on 2015/07/14 16:44
As someone who uses Page Manager every day to run a hefty page, efficiency is greatly needed.
No video uploads
by Vedni on 2015/07/14 01:09
As of the latest version, you can no longer upload videos.
ASAP!

😎Great Group Tool
by Kshalaa on 2013/03/08 21:19
I enjoy the pages feature!
