Pages was just fine the way it was. Every change you have made so far has be horrible. I literally can’t get messages. They show up in my notifications then I tap on them and nothing is there. Really frustrating. I just have to text people call me. Please just go back to the way it was originally.

It is AWFUL!!! Super hard to navigate. It’s the opposite of “User-friendly” I thought my business page was hard to set up before the change. Now it takes me hours to do small things. Now I can't see my clients reviews, my “done” folder is now not accessible, I can't invite people that like/follow to events unless they are a friend, ........ 🙄😡🙁 Is there a negative star area?

I’m having problem in my login dashboard. When ever I try to login with my Facebook details he always tell me ‘The operation could not be completed getaddrinfo failure nodename nor servname provided, or not known’ Please what can I do solve this. This new layout is not user friendly. It over complicated simple tasks. And notifications don’t work. I have to open the app to see if I have a message or comment. Which leads to slow responses. I have to now remember to open the app every 30 minutes just to make sure I’m not missing a customer’s inquiry.

Literally the worst version of this crap since inception. Years of Facebook developers that have zero clue how to do anything that works. Zero clue what businesses actually care about. Zero clue how to make messaging work. It’s all about pushing businesses to spend money. Pop ups, tips, etc all the time begging for money to advertise. Last FB campaign that I ran got 1% click rate over 10 months 😂🤣

Connectivity issues and slow refresh rate. The analytic numbers shown in the app don’t reflect the updated numbers when viewing the actual page on Facebook. I like the simultaneous posting to FB and IG though.

This used to be a great app to use for a business, but now with all of the updates it’s hard to use! I can’t even look at messages I know I have anymore. That page is completely blank! So I have to go on to a laptop which defeats the purpose of having this on my phone.

I used Page Manager everyday for my pages, Business Suite is not for me. It’s such a bad fit for how I want to use it, I don’t use this app at all. It’s a waste of space on my phone. I generally love the upgrade changes with FB, but this change is no upgrade. Disappointed.

Just the absolute worst app ever. So now, in addition to having to pay out the nose for getting ANY information out for my small (tiny) business to my community, these developers decided to take MORE of my time (which = money) by not allowing the app to sync well and needing to close it out then open it again to see updates. It’s the most frustrating garbage app I have to have on my phone. The very least FB could do is improve this app, which is used by thousands, if not millions, of small business owners, if they require us to pay for any kind of reach. Instead, they provide us with the biggest crap app the internet has to offer. I wish I could delete this waste of space but I need it for my business.

Leave stuff alone that works. Pages manager was fine and did it’s job. With this app I have to delete it every month and reinstall just to answer messages from customers. I get a notification that I have a message but then in messages it won’t show up because it’s CONSTANTLY ‘trying to reconnect’. Horrible horrible app. Hire some professionals to fix this

I wrote a review yesterday not understanding the breadth of how this app has devolved into an unusable mess. It now seems impossible to veiw my pages feed — I’m given the option to redirect to Facebook?? To check a post because I can’t see the whole text in this locked up preview mode?? How is that efficient or helpful for the user? The other option is to use desktop but it looks like that got ruined to. I do not recomend if you use this app for buisness. looking for an alternative.

This app is terribly buggy and unreliable as a business tool. Every time I get or send a message, I get a “Waiting to reconnect” error. Funny thing is I get the notifications and can read at least part of the message through my phone notification preview, but when using the app to actually retrieve the message, it’s not loaded and I get the error. For as long as this has been happening and as many others I’ve seen post about it, one would think they’d attempt a fix.

Really don’t like this new app, it’s a nightmare to use. Not intuitive at all. I now do most of my biz work from the FB app instead because I do not have the time to play around with an app that has function issues and is too hard to find the proper workaround to do what I need it to do. Waste of time. I won’t use it. Period.

What a waste of time. This app is terrible. Going through the regular Facebook app is easier to post things to my business page, even that is annoying anymore. Quit with the ads already. I don’t want to follow other businesses on my business page, I don’t want to waste my money paying for your ads that don’t even reach my area for my actual customer base. I don’t want all this extra crap! Just let me make post! Quit whoring yourself out for ads Facebook!

Edit 6/7/21 Just wanted to come back and say that as the owner of 4 restaurants, I find Facebook business suite to be one of the biggest annoyances of my day. Literally. Just wanted to go out of my way to say how terrible this app is. I hate the concept of having two (three including messenger) separate apps for facebook. It makes it painfully slow vs how it was w/ one app. Navigating the business app is a pain because I have to open a new app and go through 5-6 clicks just to find and get rid of a notification that says someone likes my page, when I already have seen this notification on regular FB app. I feel that is has poor ease of use and it ends up frustrating me and others who use this for our businesses. I really think FB has hit a wall and I don't think it will be around much longer. It's just become a place for people to post dumb videos. Business apps should be allowed to tag people too. Step it up fb.

It is convenient to post Instagram & Facebook simultaneously, but difficlut to do the hashtags as it is two extra clicks for every hashtag since it is not in the keyboard like on Instagram. Posts only go to 1% of people that have chosen to follow my page, and for even my friends to see things I have to share to my personal page. It’s all about the money to FB. What is the point of having people like something if one of the options is to boost a post and the audience be the people that already like my page. Add in that if you speak of reality flaws, you stand the risk of being censored just like they have censored people and news articles they do not like. They seem to be more about censoring and deciding for us what we want to see as opposed to being a platform that can truly be useful. They have become publishers, as a business you have to pay them to be seen and as an individual, Facebook jail is an most likely a definite if you don’t tow their desired line. It’s interesting how they chose to censor things about the Wuhan lab, and low and behold they were wrong. Let people read and decide for themselves instead of being similar to state run media..... because you also punish the businesses of the people that disagree with you. When I have over 1200 people like my small business page and it only is seen by 50 or so people over a 48 hour time window, something is wrong with the algorithm.... oh, but you don’t care.

It’s nice to have everything in one place with the business suite, but it seems like it takes forever to load and appointments can not be synched with my regular calendar which is very frustrating. I have a life outside of this part-time business and it would be nice not to have to manually enter appointments into my iPhone Microsoft outlook calendar.

we are running million dollar businesses in 2021 and is the only way to lead by example with clients is to be mobile with iphone or iPad not a laptop or desktop - stats show its growing and will not stop only go up in mobile use - with that being said its only natural to have all the features the business facebook has and more. Hope to see more features - I gave it a 5 just because it is so releasing to use the source and not outsource for scheduling with metrics thank you

If I could give zero stars, I would. This app has been nothing but problems since the day they switched it over from Pages. The private messages is the issue that makes me the most frustrated and irritated. When I try to open a new message, it spins forever and tells me that it’s reconnecting. Sometimes it will take days for the private message to show up. It’s absolutely unacceptable when you have potential clients trying to reach out. I can’t be the only one who has this issue so you’d think they would have it fixed by now.

I have had nothing but issues with the app since it’s transition from Pages. I constantly have to log in due to session expiration. I don’t receive alerts through app, so I miss messages and notifications. I get kicked out during the log in process due to an HTTPS connection fail.

For the last 5 days cannot even share a visitor post to the main page…. its AWFUL! It bewilders me that a company like Facebook is unable to provide a stable app to manage pages. I constantly have to force close the app in order to see new comment notifications and messages. I have deleted and downloaded this app so many times hoping it would reset but no such luck. It tells me I have unread messages and comments but I check my inbox and posts and nothing. Then I realized it’s not just the app it’s the entire “business suite” that is bugged. I miss the Pages app all this extra stuff that’s been added is pointless and glitchy

Ever since I downloaded this app from the Facebook pages app my reviews and ratings have disappeared. I am not 100% sure if they are connected or if it’s just a coincidence but customer support wasn’t any help and basically just told me they don’t know what happened or when/if it will get fixed. This is very frustrating as it’s caused my customers to no longer be able to leave or view reviews and I believe it is negatively effecting my business. I guess it’s time to switch to my website and stop using Facebook.

I was getting confused through the whole messaging thing on my Facebook business page so I downloaded this app. It’s so much more simple and easier to understand for me, you can see stats and messages and everything. One problem: I can’t write new messages to people, I can only respond to what people have messaged me. If I want to start a new message, I am shown as my personal account, not my business page. There may be a way to do it on the Facebook app but I don’t know how. Adding a button to write to new people on this app would make it perfect.

Again the app is still garbage, always has been. Takes three days and 20 attempts to upload any videos. Always get to 70-80% and the app just stops, freezes and you have to close it and start over. No matter how many updates they’ve released, it never get any better. It’s also overly complicated, yet I still get notifications on Facebook app.

The scheduler turns itself in and off- but not at the scheduled times!!! The app says I have a number of notifications-. When I don’t - then an hour later I see the comment or message!!! I can edit scheduled posts but I cannot ADD another photo. Please go back to “Pages.” The more bells & whistles you add to this the worse it functions.

Six months it’s been now that this worthless app randomly freezes and I have to repeatedly force quit and open it. Sometimes I have to restart my phone because when I click on the icon, it opens the app then immediately closes it, and does this until I reset. I’m not convinced the developers are doing literally anything with this app aside from changing things and adding things that are completely unnecessary.

It’s perfect, except for the fact it doesn’t have a draft feature. I cannot tell you how many times I have written out a post, switched over to another app like my texts for example, come back to the app and POOF, everything I wrote is GONE. Literally so many times I’m working on a post, and poof, the app resets as soon as I reopen it and all the hard work I put into writing the post is gone. Both insta and Facebook have a feature where it will save your work as a draft, or give you the option to. App developers... PLEASE, for the love of indecisive people everywhere, add a draft feature. So many will thank you!

I’ve reached the point to where I hate using my Facebook Business page because it’s not user friendly. I cannot simply see my page from what the clients are seeing without jumping through 40 hoops. It used to let me send the automated response to Instagram as well and it used to notify me if someone messaged. Now it’s stuck and it thinks I have an unread message when I don’t for the Instagram and it won’t show the automated message on Instagram anymore. I don’t understand what happened.

And give me room to add more than twenty or thirty pages to manage. I’m a budding empire and I have always tried to utilize Facebook for my aspirations. But I think a lot of the innovations are getting in the way of good old fashioned social networking. Aside that I love the new button look and that’s it. I don’t know if I can edit my page settings there or not. To manage my admins, I have gotten a notice that says there are new privacy rules coming.. I’m not there often but when I do come back something is always changed and it’s begining to not be fun anymore. Thank you

I’ve had more problems with the Business Manager than I ever did with Pages. The layout is too “clean” in the sense that everything has the same white/grey color scheme. I can’t share Event Invites/ links to my page’s timeline from the app, which is a problem because I’m a musician. I’d like to “Schedule” my posts about reminders for shows with links to their appropriate Events, but I can’t. I have to go to my actual Facebook app and share them from there (and don’t even get me started on THAT update) and set alarms on my phone for when they need to be posted because I can’t schedule them. I’ve also had a bunch of problems with bugs/glitches, not receiving some notifications, receiving some notifications multiple times, and poor access the server to post on my timeline (it takes a long time, times out, or disconnects completely. I usually have to close out the app completely and relaunch it). Overall, I feel like Business Manager has just taken important features for some of us away (the reality) versus giving us a user-friendly app to handle everything in one place (the intention). It’s great that I can post to Instagram simultaneously, but it’s still missing A LOT of the features and convenience that was a part of Pages. Stop “fixing” things that don’t need to be fixed. Stop changing the layout. Give us back the features we actually use and need.

There are several bugs with this app. It’s not even a functioning app anymore. It used to run great before they changed their name from Facebook pages to business suite. Ever since day light savings change, they have been sending reminders to my clients one hour off from their actual appointment times (you can see how this is bad for business). Also, you can not edit appointment times easily anymore. The pop up box to edit is over top of other buttons on the screen that makes it very difficult. My customers no longer get an appointment confirmation after I confirm their booking, when clients request a book now appointment. So to the client it is as if their appointment is not confirmed. Clients don’t get confirmation when I manually add an appointment either. This app just keeps going down hill. It started out with a few thing once they changed to business suite and it keeps getting worse and worse. I appreciate this app for my business, it really is a great feature to business FB pages, I hope they can start making improvements. At this point even just going back to how it used to be would be awesome. Edit: yike! This app keeps getting worse! Now I am getting appointments request and it does not notify me, nor does it let me message the client after approving the appointment. PLEASE PLEASE, get this 🙏🏻. Customers don’t understand when we don’t get back to them. I have zero way to contact my client because of this.

I’m normally a patient and understanding person. I think about things in shades of gray and from all sides. That said, this app and the website, bring forth a fiery rage I never knew I had. I’ve written many vitriolic reviews in my head. For a billion dollar company, it’s incredible to watch an app be so completely glitchy, buggy, and downright impossible to use. I’d expect it from a teenager in middle school with their midterm project on app creation to be made of. If turtles were in someone’s basement running this app, it would work better. Come on Facebook! I won’t even list the issues because I’d get carpal tunnel in the time it would take for me to type them all. I’ve started a drinking game for every time a new update comes out with “bug fixes” and doesn’t fix the bugs but adds new ones. I’m very close to alcohol poisoning at this point. I send reports of issues BEGGING for someone to address a major issue. Crickets. They’ve made it so you can’t do business without the app but then make it impossible to use. I’m stuck in some twisted episode of The Twilight Zone and no way out. I have saved replies to send my customers saying “sorry _x_ is there, it’s a bug. Just ignore it.” I spend my days teetering between madness and sanity when I open it. I’m pretty sure this is how comic book villains are made.

I actually haven’t updated off of fb manager version because I am not a fan of most of the updates, so this is a review regarding the app in general. If there were a negative star rating, I would be using it! Fb should remember K.I.S.S. And I will do the same. Simply put, if you don’t bother to show my posts to the people that have “liked” my business’ page, meaning that they want to see my posts, then none of these other things matter! We are a small service based business and we have 1200+ people that have liked our page but rarely are our posts shown to more than 150 of those people(according to your insights). Why is that? If I were to “boost” a post, it would be shown to a bunch of people but still not the people that have asked to see it and that are the targets of our posts. So, that is my biggest issue with this platform. There are countless more (like not being able to post a single picture as the header, now it is a slideshow, telling me I haven’t posted in a while when I post almost every day, no longer being able to write details about pictures when posting multiple at a time, etc.) but again, if you don’t show it to the people that have asked to see it, none of that matters!

I used this app to reply to a message from Instagram. Since Instagram has a character limit the message created in Business Suite was too long, but Facebook doesn’t have a character limit. On my end, it went through. There was no notification that the message was too long. I didn’t understand why my potential new client wasn’t responding because she had been very responsive before. A few days later, I ended up going to Instagram DM’s and looked at our message thread and there was no reply from me. Went back to Business Suite and the reply was there. This looked like negligence on my part. I had to copy my message to notes and break it up to send through Insta. Now I only reply to Instagram DMs in Instagram. I also get double the notifications for Instagram because they don’t update in the biz suite when you check them in Insta. I can’t turn my notifications off in Instagram because this app is not reliable. I would rather have the Pages app (or an equivalent) back and compartmentalize my comments and DMs. This app does not save me more time when I have to double and triple check everything. 👎🏼

If it ain’t broke, DON’T fix it. Why oh why would Facebook do this? Firstly the notifications don’t work so I have to keep checking to see if customers have messaged or commented. Before it was so much easier to invite people who liked your post to like your page too. You could have clearly seen who needs to be invited in bold blue with a raised button. Now the button is flat and looks like every button for people who already like your page or who you’ve already invited. Also the messaging is the worst! It looks like a webpage interface from the 1990’s with no, yeh, get this NO saved message responses. So now I have to use my Facebook app, then click on pages then access my Pages where Facebook conveniently toggles between me personally responding and me responding as my page. And the best part in business Suite I have different page names for the same business but guess what? Facebook gave all of them the SAME name. So now I never know which page I’m on. Can you all just reinstall the Pages app please and forget about this Business Suite thing until you get it right.

YOUR NAME IS ON THIS HEAP OF BURNING CRAP. I hate call caps. I do. I really seriously hate it because it’s overused and 99% of the time it’s unnecessary. But this time, it’s necessary. This time, it’s the only way I can get my message across strenuously enough. First off, this is a “free” app. Knowing that makes it marginally easier to understand why MZ has abandoned any urgency in fixing its issues. However, as many other reviews have stated clearly enough for my 3 year old niece to understand,... THIS. APP. DOESN’T. WORK. Since I “upgraded” from pages manager, it has told me that I have two unread messages in my inbox, and I don’t. I’ve refreshed, force quit and restarted the app, signed out and signed back in, and deleted and reinstalled this app to no avail. It still says I have two unread messages. Problem is, I can’t turn app badges off because I run a business on Instagram and FB. I’d miss commissions. So Zucky, who are you lying to this time? Those suckers who download this app hoping to use the features you purport to be available to them or those of us who “upgraded” from Pages based on your claims of it being easier to use and reliable?

I love having an outlet for my small business that’s not on Etsy. Much of the features are useful but it needs quite a bit of work. First, I wish I could post both a picture & a video at the same time. I like to showcase my items in still photos & a video. But currently, you cannot post both at the same time. It’s annoying and doesn’t allow me to display my items. Second, I cannot tag my clients in my posts. I would love to be able to tag a client in a post when I’m showcasing their custom item. Third, PLEASE STOP making recommendations in messenger. QUIT asking if I want to “book an appointment” or telling me “orders now get reported in ads manager”. These stupid boxes pop up in random private messages & it WILL NOT GO AWAY! They’re annoying and when I click “Not now” the box disappears but then comes right back when I enter back into that private message. Please make it stop! I’m sure there’s more feedback I could give, but this would be a great start! Thank you! 🤩

This app is frustrating. There are some nice features and I like having everything in once place but there are so many more issues. The messaging and comment section is clunky and not user friendly and I found it was much easier to just use Instagram to post and share from there to my Facebook page. The final straw was that I’ve had an “unread message” for weeks that I can’t clear. I’ve tried everything including deleting the app and redownloading. When the notification popped up again I was done. I searched for some fixes and found years old posts with the same issue that hasn’t been addressed. I deleted it after that. The business options for Facebook are so annoying anyway I’m considering removing my whole page so it wasn’t worth keeping the app that they clearly don’t fix or listen to problems that need to be addressed. A fantom notification doesn’t seem like that bit of a deal but it’s actually incredibly frustrating to think you’re missing someone’s message.

It is convenient to post Instagram & Facebook simultaneously, but difficlut to do the hashtags as it is two extra clicks for every hashtag since it is not in the keyboard like on Instagram. Posts only go to 1% of people that have chosen to follow my page, and for even my friends to see things I have to share to my personal page. It’s all about the money to FB. What is the point of having people like something if one of the options is to boost a post and the audience be the people that already like my page. Add in that if you speak of reality flaws, you stand the risk of being censored just like they have censored people and news articles they do not like. They seem to be more about censoring and deciding for us what we want to see as opposed to being a platform that can truly be useful. They have become publishers, as a business you have to pay them to be seen and as an individual, Facebook jail is an most likely a definite if you don’t tow their desired line. It’s interesting how they chose to censor things about the Wuhan lab, and low and behold they were wrong. Let people read and decide for themselves instead of being similar to state run media..... because you also punish the businesses of the people that disagree with you. When I have over 1200 people like my small business page and it only is seen by 50 or so people over a 48 hour time window, something is wrong with the algorithm.... oh, but you don’t care.

I was actually picked as a consumer and small business owner to be apart of a Facebook Survey in which I was able to answer questions about how I liked the accessibility of the Business Suites App. I like it a lot. I even got a Visa gift card out of the deal, but that’s beside the point. I wasn’t scammed. My ideas were taken into consideration and my voice felt heard. This probably sounds strange coming from a Facebook review, as a lot of people aren’t the biggest fans. I do enjoy the Business Suites app a lot overall, and my ability to streamline posts between FB & Insta in one fell swoop is very convenient. Thanks for helping me help you, Facebook. Also, thanks for all the assistance in making progress in learning the best marketing tools and techniques through your app. I also do a lot of advertisements through Facebook as well, and that has really increased my business’s likeness in my community.

I absolutely loved pages, I have a business page which is my primary business with over 160,000 followers, and I did A LOT of business with this app. I was delighted when I saw that this was converting to the sweets, however after updating it it no longer recognizes my primary business page. The frustrating thing is that it lists pages I created over the last 10 yearsI never use. It lists those with no problem. But my primary, Maine, page it just will not see and I have no idea how to fix it. Of course there’s no one actually accountable that I can contact, so in the end I’ve had to just go back to my PC. I am so frustrated with us, and believe me I’ve googled it, I’ve submitted a ticket via Facebook, I just don’t know where to go. If you are currently a pages user, try to get as much life as you can out of that app before converting, because if you have the problem that I do, there is no way to fix it.I am only too happy to be contacted directly by the developers should they read this message, however I am not holding my breath.

Trying to update my business profile in the Facebook Business Suite doesn’t function properly 99% of the time. When I attempt to update my business description message or update or add a new logo or cover photo it doesn't save it (the circle keeps spinning as though it’s processing my request, but never does- I have to log into my laptop and log in to submit these changes. I experienced the same issues when I used to use the Facebook Business Manager. Both APPS need a lot of work and for business owners to run our businesses proficiently from these FB APPS, these glitches needs to be rectified. The only two things the FB Business Suite and FB Business Manager APPS allow me to do seamlessly are post to my timeline and pay for sponsored ads. How convenient for Facebook. Overall, I’m not pleased with either APP so will be deleting both from my device. I’ll update and post from my laptop. You would think as big as this company is their APPS would function seamlessly.

This app replaced the Pages app and it’s much worse than that app. I wish I could get that app back. 1. The “invite”, “liked”, and “invited” buttons are all the same color. So hard to figure out who needs to be invited to like our page. The “invite” function is very important to Business pages, please make it easier. 2. I’m on the IPhone XR. I’ve had to leave the app to get back to the home page. Some comments never loaded at the bottom of my screen. I had to use my computer to see them. 3. The only benefit I see to this app is better integration with Instagram, but at what cost. I would prefer having to use two great apps vs one terrible app. Maybe Instagram and Facebook aren’t meant to be managed from the same app. 4. The new posts interface is very clunky, it’s hard to interact with customers who leave comments and likes on our posts. It takes me to my personal Facebook account and I end up accidentally commenting as myself instead of my page. 5. There is NOWHERE to see page check-ins and page recommendations. These are two important ways that we interact with customers. Why has it been made so hard? The only way I can currently see them is if i catch them in real time, right when posted. This app has made it hard to manage our page and our big ad campaign. The ad performed great at a reasonable price. The follow up was made complicated by the challenges of this app.

They completely ruined the app when they switched from pages to business suite. Definitely a ploy to only allow businesses to interact with their customers if they are paying Facebook‘s overpriced advertisement fees. The app is now so glitchy even if you do manage to make a post a lot of times it gets screwed up and you have to take it down and change it to repost it. They’re playing some sort of silly game where you have to give them access to your entire photo library or you’re not allowed to select and use photos. Facebook has overstepped many boundaries for privacy and this one is no different forcing the user to allow access to their library to post a picture is ignorant and definitely unethical. I will never spend a penny for advertisement on Facebook. I like to make educated decisions and not be forced into doing things that the company demands so they can get into your life and sell more pieces of you. Horrible app., Facebook‘s days are numbered.
Glitches and poor improvements

It went from glitchy to even more glitchy - from showing tons of notifications when there were none to not showing them at all. The new update is awful. It didn’t fix anything and made several things much worse. Moving the area where you select which page you want to the bottom, when do you have to click at the top to get there, is counterintuitive. Making the words liked, invite and invited tiny and all the same when you look at page likes to invite new people is horrible design, before you could tell easily who had not liked your page yet, but now it is much harder to see. And when are they going to update the app enough so that it can see Facebook fundraisers on posts? Update: The updates just keep getting worse and worse. This new format is awful. I can’t even see our posts anymore. They took a good app, then had to add way too many features and completely ruined it.

Facebook isn’t known for being good and this app is no exception. The only reason anyone is using it, is because Facebook just has a large, captive audience. Even now, in the app’s review panel, I can’t see the words I’m typing. On the iPad, the app constantly switches to vertical mode. Being able to post to Instagram is useless since to add a first comment or bio link, you have to go to Instagram anyways. Facebook tags don’t work at all and when you are able to tag a business, it’s 50/50 if the business even shows up. At least that works somewhat better on the browser. What does work? Facebook’s ability to take your money. Their transaction portion works well. Not sure if this review makes sense, again, the app’s review panel doesn’t show text. Horrible, laughable, and typical Facebook—only used by marketers and promoters to reach an audience hopelessly stuck on the platform until something better comes along or Facebook finally (and hopefully) fails.

It’s perfect, except for the fact it doesn’t have a draft feature. I cannot tell you how many times I have written out a post, switched over to another app like my texts for example, come back to the app and POOF, everything I wrote is GONE. Literally so many times I’m working on a post, and poof, the app resets as soon as I reopen it and all the hard work I put into writing the post is gone. Both insta and Facebook have a feature where it will save your work as a draft, or give you the option to. App developers... PLEASE, for the love of indecisive people everywhere, add a draft feature. So many will thank you!

Edit 6/7/21 Just wanted to come back and say that as the owner of 4 restaurants, I find Facebook business suite to be one of the biggest annoyances of my day. Literally. Just wanted to go out of my way to say how terrible this app is. I hate the concept of having two (three including messenger) separate apps for facebook. It makes it painfully slow vs how it was w/ one app. Navigating the business app is a pain because I have to open a new app and go through 5-6 clicks just to find and get rid of a notification that says someone likes my page, when I already have seen this notification on regular FB app. I feel that is has poor ease of use and it ends up frustrating me and others who use this for our businesses. I really think FB has hit a wall and I don't think it will be around much longer. It's just become a place for people to post dumb videos. Business apps should be allowed to tag people too. Step it up fb.
Fixed landscape, but...

Well, they fixed landscape mode, but that's just one problem. Now, the calendar will not update to show new appointments as they come in. The message with the appointment will come through, but it won't appear on the calendar until much later or after closing and reopening the app. This causes problems with my business because I don't know about appointments that have been made. Another issue is that the microscopic dot below the message icon is nearly impossible to see. Fix this app so I can run my business properly. Oh, and another thing. I have it set up for 30 minute appointments on the hour and half hour, but this stupid app will show available appointments on the quarter hour which seriously screws up my schedule. It’s usually on Thursday or Friday and I can’t figure out how to fix it.

I have 22,000 followers on my page snd I can’t communicate with them. If I send a message with multiple pictures and info with each pic, it is scrambling everything. It keeps saying connecting. I’ve never had this problem before. I am on wifi. That’s not the problem. The customer can respond but I can’t see unless I leave business suite and go to my regular business page. I liked my pages app so so much. Once you changed to business suite , it has been one bug after another. I’m trying to run a business and am trying to respond to my customers but it’s not working. It won’t connect and send the message. The regular business page, the comment line is too small and not business savvy. I hate the appointment pop up. I have reported it a dozen times about my message problem. No messages big or small are working. Can someone please help me. My page is The Bead Hive in Virginia. I’m desperate

I do not like this new format at all. I don’t know what the thought process was behind these changes, but this is nothing but ridiculous. I use to be able to post anything, anytime, anywhere without a problem. Now it’s a real process! If you manage more than one page, all your photos from all the pages get dumped into one place. Same with forms of payment. If I want to place an ad, I have to be very careful which card I choose to make payment. I also have to worry about other admins having access to these forms of payment that may have nothing to do with the page they’re helping to manage. I realize these business pages are free but Facebook could be doing a much better job of laying these pages out and making them more user friendly for the people who rely on them. The older format was 100% better!!!

As usual in typical Facebook fashion they’ve found a way to inconvenience their customers. Facebook is a truly awful company with the worlds absolutely worst customer service but they found a way to sink lower. I use to engage with my fans a lot using polls and since Facebook took that way a lot of my page fans have become quite upset. Next they took away being able to be post backgrounds for our post. Smh. It’s watered down junk now. They made the UI a tiny better but took away everything else. Update: Business sweet is ok. Not great. It needs to have the ability to share products from your shop to the page. All you can do is edit 2021 update: Once again Facebook has proved why they are worst platform in all creation. They removed the option to tag products in post. Something that made it convenient for customers to buy from a post. So sick of them

I just got the iPhone 12....I was super confused when I transferred everything my FB Pages app would not work at all. Finally I deleted it and went to reinstall when to my horror I realized it’s been taken away and now it is FB Business Suite. I downloaded it aaaaand now all I get is a white screen. Deleted, redownloaded.....white screen. So now I have zero access to my business page from my phone! I think it’s crazy that things with FB Business Pages are not handled well seeing as we are the ones that pay them. Not the other trillions of people on FB. Smooth sailing free for them. US, who PAY to have people that WE worked so hard for to get to like our page. We have to pay to even show our followers what we are doing. I would totally boycott if FB didn’t run the world. But can we just even get some access to run our business pages. No worries, we will even PAY you after you fix things.

It’s hard to even know where to start, many of us completely run our biz on our FB page, using this app with ANY APPLE DEVICE has always been difficult, even the old “Pages” app had hundreds of glitches & issues, but the latest version of this app has put my biz at a standstill! U can’t upload pics, u can’t ban scammers during a live, u can’t search anything, I can’t even find my groups at all, the PM section either pops up on a message thread wanting me to “mark paíd” or “schedule appointment”(features ive never used) & makes it impossible to read & reply to messages, my followers say they never know when I’m live even tho they have notifications on, and virtually overnight I went from 500 live viewers to less than 100! These r just a few of the thousands of problems from my MacBook laptop, IPhone, & IPad-Get your crap together FB, you are ruining businesses!

Update: things have gotten worse if you can believe that. Can’t add any ads now. Can’t use custom audiences. This app is almost useless. Whoever works on this app should hire some QA that will institute proper QA processes. Maybe I’m more concerned over QA issues because it was my field, but the bottom line is the app has some serious, obvious bugs that should have been easily found in QA. The bugs that appear after simple updates are absurd. People are trying to run their business from this thing. I’d pay money to make it better, for real. Here’s an example of the ridiculousness: Latest update - the landscape mode on iPad is gone - Can’t use a keyboard attached to your iPad anymore unless you want to break your neck. Also sorting comments doesn’t work. And sorting to “unread, follow up, etc” hasn’t worked for WEEKS and submitting bug reports does nothing. Can’t view sub comments. (Won’t expand). Can’t scroll down “scroll down to see more comments” never goes away / doesn’t let you scroll to see more comments. You’re one of the biggest tech companies in the world, your app has serious issues. Why is this? These breaking bugs (landscape is mandatory. Workers cannot use their iPads now. Using the mobile site or app to answer messages is a horrendous user experience.
Lots of glitches

Basically, I’m okay with the set up if it worked. I’m notified that I have x number of Messages, but they cannot be found. Comments are sometimes listed, but I frequently have to go to my Facebook Page to actually see them. Sometimes, it will not allow me to message videos to my Customers and if it does, I’m only allowed 30 seconds for the video length. This is definitely not enough time when trying to show a Customer more details about an item. I find that I constantly have to flip back and forth from the app to my actual Facebook Page. To me, it feels like it costs me more time, than saving time. It would be helpful if it allowed me to see my Facebook Page Photo Albums, so that I can answer Customers questions without having to go to my Facebook Page to see what the Customer is talking about. Bottom line is the App needs a lot of work
Ruined my Instagram

Nomad soon as I downloaded this app, my notifications completely STOPPED coming through Instagram and I no longer get them. For me, this app is not user friendly and I don’t need it for what I currently do on Instagram for business, yet when I deleted it, my Instagram notifications did not start coming again. There are no settings to decide where you prefer to get notifications from any social media platform. I’ve reached out to Facebook and Instagram in every possible way and to no avail. How can this be a useful business tool if it completely screws up the way you run business with no solution how to change back!! Totally frustrated and hopeless over here. Why do all notifications need to be funneled through this? All my notification settings are turned to on, yet nothing is coming through. Unhappy customer.
iPhone 12 screen size support issue

I received my iPhone 12 and I use this app for my job. Unfortunately the app is not compatible with the screen size of this phone. When I choose an image to share I cannot because the cancel and done buttons are layered behind the battery, signal, and time layer of the top of the phone. It makes this more complicated trying to post. Even on the original Facebook pages app even when I revert back it is the same issue. So now I can currently only post within my own Facebook personal app. Doing this now does not allow me to immediately post to Instagram either. Please fix the screen size issue with this app or unless it’s a bug. I did not have this issue with iOS 14 on my iPhone 11 Pro. My job depends on this app daily. Thank you.
Going from bad to worse rapidly

I use this app for my Facebook page business The messaging function, the most important part, is extremely broken It does not notify me of messages coming in (even though all permissions are turned on) and it takes 2-3 minutes at best to send a single message. It’s constantly flashing a bar that says “waiting to reconnect” “connected!” “Waiting to reconnect” no matter where I am, on or off WiFi. It is not my area because everything else works perfectly fine with the internet. While it may not seem like a long time it means everything takes forever and I can’t do anything else when talking with a client. Not to mention the app is basically broken in every other way Plus the integration between Facebook and Instagram is terrible and I wish I never linked my two accounts, it only makes for a giant confusing mess. Please stop hurting small businesses and make your app work at a basic level Edit: Now I have a never ending notification saying I have a message. This problem persists even when I open my computer to deal with the issue I also often do not receive messages from my clients, they only appear after I check them on the computer. The Instagram chats bug out like crazy.

How this app has 4.4 rating at the time of writing this review I don’t know. It is by far one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Facebook truly does not care about small businesses by moving everyone over to a junk app like this, poorly thought through, terrible user interface, and simply does not work for so many small business page management tasks. Even eight months after forcing small business owners onto this stupid “business suite“ concept in the middle of a pandemic (as if we didn’t have enough difficulty deal with!) many of the initial major bugs are still not fixed. What on earth are all the billions in revenue being spent on, if small businesses are the number one revenue stream? I believe Zuckerberg truly does not have his eye on the ball if he is not making this app his number one priority, which it absolutely should be.

I waited before writing my review. I’ve had this app ever since they replaced the FB Page with this app and it still needs improvement! For 1: Please bring back the option to Add to Your Story. It makes no sense to ONLY be able to do this via Facebook, especially if you don’t use your personal page or you’re trying to use it less and be more active on your business account! It’s both cases for me. 2: Isn’t there a way to see all the features we need without having to switch back and forth between Suite and Page. It gets confusing. I miss the simplicity when it was just Facebook page. 3: Notifications. Has this been fixed because I still don’t receive a notification sound whenever I receive a comment on my posts or messages from Instagram. Speaking of which, why when I’ve read a message on Instagram, it still shows up as UNREAD on the Suite? I dislike reading on one platform but it doesn’t connect thru the other, even tho it’s connected. 4: Logo: Will you be updating the icon? It’s very bland and doesn’t seen to represent what the app is supposed to do. It kinda looks like something was just thrown together quickly.

Significant bugs, loss of updated “messages” and comments (now four days old) despite thousands that should be there since.... no notification panel anymore... persistent warning about facebook’s limitations in accessing user data for their marketing... sorting does not work properly when trying to see current comment threads on posts... i’ve been forced to bounce between checking manually from my personal facebook account by business pages to see updates and even that does not work properly. Also, if you are used yo inviting people to like your page after liking your content, good luck - its now barely noticeable as you scroll to find members to invite. Even using a mobile browser to log in for page management setup is better than this app. BEWARE!
Bad update

Before i did the update it was fine. Since the update (1) the screen now stays sideways.... it no longer tilts so ic an view it normal on my iPad Pro. And (2) if i do use it... sideways on my iPad Pro - i now have to disconnect the iPad front he keyboard dock so i can time sideways on the ipad - but when i set it back on the keyboard dock the keyboard no longer works. It’s a lot of hoops and jumps to connect and disconnect and close out windows just to make it work again. So like everyone else - i wonder wheat was actually fixed and when the stuff that broke will be fixed again. Or.... is there a magical trick to do the screen rotation.... a simple feature - yet i can no longer use this anymore. And... i do not wish to connect this to instagram - yet it seems like it wants to or automatically will.... why??? Insta and fb bus page is way different.

When I log into this app, it loads a white screen. There are no words, buttons, nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have changed my password to force a logout. I have rebooted the phone. I have it on two phones and it does the same thing on both phones. I also can’t see my business page on Messenger like I could at some point, so I am entirely unable to message with my customers on Facebook on either iPhone. The phones are running different operating systems. I am quite sick of Facebook’s lack of support for business customers like myself. I run ads periodically and have decided that it is idiotic to give money to a company that doesn’t care about its customers. They will not be receiving any more of my money until they create actual support. FAQs are not support.

This is one of the worst apps on the planet. If the other app wasn’t broke why try and fix it. And if you were going to change it, you should make sure it’s better than the once you replaced it with. I no longer get notifications that a client comments or booked an appointment. I can’t see my photos like before. So if a client ask for a picture I have no way of getting to them. This app is garbage and should be thrown in the dumpster. This app is costing me to lose customers. Also some stuff I actually have to log into Facebook to do on my own page. Had this crazy feeling like I should be able to do this from the app. But guess what you can’t. I’m sick of this mess. Go back to the drawing board and try again. And until you figure out the issue. Give us back Page Manager.

So I am having so many issues now.... I have tried reinstalling the app. It just doesn’t work right sense one of the last updates. I cannot CANNOT book appointments for my clients. The way the app tries to open the portion of the window on my iPhone 11 it cannot open the screen correctly for you to impute and save the time and dates of the appointments. So I let them request the appointments and of course that doesn’t work either. It won’t let me click the confirm button to accept their request. Also it still says I have unread messages which I do not. I went through them all in all inboxes individually. There ARE NO UNREAD MESSAGES. I understand this is a free app. However. IM WILLING TO PAY IF THE APP WOULD WORK CORRECTLY. I will be soon moving a large portion of my business to go through other means of communication for my client base. That says a lot considering I own a tattoo shop and social media is a huge help in marketing and communication for current and new clients.

I really like this app to keep all my messages from Facebook and Instagram organized and so I can post at both places at the same time! The only thing I don’t like is that it’s hard to find comments that are new on a particular picture, especially if there are a lot of comments already. If I get a notification that someone has commented on a picture, it only takes me to the picture and not their specific comment, so I have to scroll through and find them to be able to reply. But this app has served me well otherwise!

If you have multiple business pages to manage this is nice it keeps everything in one spot. Sometimes it doesn’t let me know when someone has messaged me. It also takes a while to catch up that I have read a comment. The newer update allows you to switch from page to page easily. I don’t like that if you are in “list” mode (which it puts you there automatically) that it won’t let me click to see what I’ve posted. I need to back to switch it to FB feed mode every time. Also, depending on other people’s privacy settings it won’t show you who has shared your content. Which I also don’t like. But it’s an okay app that keeps things a little more organized.

I am not satisfied with this app at all. The old version of this app was called Facebook Pages, and I loved it! It was easy to use, and great for my business side of Facebook! Since the update to Business Suite, NONE of my messages will load from my customers. I will get a notification that I have received a message, but I can not open the message, read the message, or respond to the message. It’s awful. It completely defeats the purpose of having a second app besides messenger for Facebook. I know this is not a glitch on my phone, but the apps glitch due to the fact that 2 other people besides myself are all logged on the same app and our messages will not load on their phones either. Please fix this or give us business pages back!

I love having all my messages and comments in one place but it needs to have better functionality when responding to comments, I’d like to be able to like the comment without having to go to the app to do so. Also my notifications are messed up. I have an unread message and when I filter to the unread messages it displays no unread messages. No matter what I do I can’t get rid of that 1 on my messages. The idea is there but I think there’s more that can be done to make it more efficient. But I am thankful for it right now 😄

This app crashes and freezes my iPhone. This app appeared on my phone without my downloading it. When I open it a message pops up that I can win a bunch of money if I click okay. There is no way to close that window which I’m sure is spam and was not there before this app appeared on my phone. App does not have a good flow to it when I have been able to use it which has been about two minutes before the spam giveaway letter pops up. Why did you do away with the old Pages Manager? It was much better than this one. Does the developer tests new FB apps before giving them to the public? You should not use the public as your testers!!! This app stinks.

Latest update turned on a pretty crappy and inhuman auto response in the background which also muted message notifications - I ended up almost losing a customer as a result. It’s obviously great that you provide this service for free! At the same time, if you want us to continue to rely on it to manage our businesses, can you please send an automated message to us in advance letting us know what’s changing in the new version so we’re not caught off guard? That would be really nice thank you!

They slapped a fancy interface and logo on it abs call it a suite. I have tried every possible way to get notification alerts turned on for messenger and no matter what it will not happen. I have to open either this app or messenger to see if I have messages, I do not receive any sort of alert to when I receive new messages and to say this is seriously damaging the flow of my business is an incredible understatement. I’m sincerely so considering closing my fb page and just using my website and google. It is a simple thing, if someone sends me a message I want it to pop up on my phone and ding just like it does when someone sends my personal fb a message. It is amazing to me that you have failed to produce this simple request, I’ve been complaining for MONTHS about it.
Instagram Scheduler Way Too Buggy

I manage a few pages as part of my job. I was really excited when Facebook finally introduced an Instagram scheduling tool, because that meant I would no longer have to sit on my phone and wait until exactly a specific time to try and push out posts across all accounts. Well, it’d be nice if this feature actually worked. It seems like 90% of the time, when the scheduled post is supposed to go out, this app just deletes it instead without giving any notice. This is super frustrating, and if apps like Hootsuite and Later can figure out a non-buggy way to schedule posts, you’d think the owners of Instagram would be able to as well.

Previous version was good but the new look, updates and layout are terrible! I have used this and have grown my business and want to keep using it but it doesn’t work! In order to get my messages to a customer I have to constantly close the app and open it up again so 1 message will go thru! I usually just go to my computer and message from there. The Event Calendar is soo jumbled, it used to put in for personal events which is what I use most with names and dates. Now it just personal event. No names or preview. Just personal event and a date. GARBAGE! Just a few things that this app just doesn’t do well anymore. But add you Instagram account... oh yeah that what I want to do with this jumbled mess!

You know that little red circle on an iPhone that tells you you have a notification for a particular app... well it won’t go away. I clear all my notifications because I hate seeing that and this is the only app it won’t clear on. It says I have 1 unread message but when I go to the unread message section it says I have no unread messages. I try to stay on top of things but since it won’t go away, I don’t know if I need to be checking it or not. I do like the ease of posting to both FB and IG simultaneously and for that I would give the app 5 stars... if they fix this bug and keep it fixed this time, I will change my rating.

Business Suite is the latest update circa Oct 2020; Also the biggest FAIL EVER - it fails to launch and it causes my ipad to freeze on black screen and I must power down everything to escape this update that behaves like a malicious virus - DO NOT INSTALL the latest update. I generate a lot of original content and I also promote commercial traffic by re-posting - and this latest updat has made your app such a piece of crApp! Losing links, re-posting well crafted content with dropped reference link - I give up - do you idiots test AT ALL ?!? This app is needed if u want to manage your business pages on FB but its so poorly implemented that its a huge deterrent to business customers - and FB tries to charge for promoting posts and throttles communications - big FAIL for this app

Pages was just fine the way it was. Every change you have made so far has be horrible. I literally can’t get messages. They show up in my notifications then I tap on them and nothing is there. Really frustrating. I just have to text people call me. Please just go back to the way it was originally.

It is AWFUL!!! Super hard to navigate. It’s the opposite of “User-friendly” I thought my business page was hard to set up before the change. Now it takes me hours to do small things. This new layout is not user friendly. It over complicated simple tasks. And notifications don’t work. I have to open the app to see if I have a message or comment. Which leads to slow responses. I have to now remember to open the app every 30 minutes just to make sure I’m not missing a customer’s inquiry.

Connectivity issues and slow refresh rate. The analytic numbers shown in the app don’t reflect the updated numbers when viewing the actual page on Facebook. I like the simultaneous posting to FB and IG though.

I used Page Manager everyday for my pages, Business Suite is not for me. It’s such a bad fit for how I want to use it, I don’t use this app at all. It’s a waste of space on my phone. I generally love the upgrade changes with FB, but this change is no upgrade. Disappointed.

Just the absolute worst app ever. So now, in addition to having to pay out the nose for getting ANY information out for my small (tiny) business to my community, these developers decided to take MORE of my time (which = money) by not allowing the app to sync well and needing to close it out then open it again to see updates. It’s the most frustrating garbage app I have to have on my phone. The very least FB could do is improve this app, which is used by thousands, if not millions, of small business owners, if they require us to pay for any kind of reach. Instead, they provide us with the biggest crap app the internet has to offer. I wish I could delete this waste of space but I need it for my business.

Leave stuff alone that works. Pages manager was fine and did it’s job. With this app I have to delete it every month and reinstall just to answer messages from customers. I wrote a review yesterday not understanding the breadth of how this app has devolved into an unusable mess. It now seems impossible to veiw my pages feed — I’m given the option to redirect to Facebook?? To check a post because I can’t see the whole text in this locked up preview mode?? How is that efficient or helpful for the user? The other option is to use desktop but it looks like that got ruined to. I do not recomend if you use this app for buisness. looking for an alternative.

This app is terribly buggy and unreliable as a business tool. Every time I get or send a message, I get a “Waiting to reconnect” error. Funny thing is I get the notifications and can read at least part of the message through my phone notification preview, but when using the app to actually retrieve the message, it’s not loaded and I get the error. For as long as this has been happening and as many others I’ve seen post about it, one would think they’d attempt a fix.

I now do most of my biz work from the FB app instead because I do not have the time to play around with an app that has function issues and is too hard to find the proper workaround to do what I need it to do. What a waste of time. This app is terrible. Going through the regular Facebook app is easier to post things to my business page, even that is annoying anymore. Quit with the ads already. I don’t want to follow other businesses on my business page, I don’t want to waste my money paying for your ads that don’t even reach my area for my actual customer base. Edit 6/7/21 Just wanted to come back and say that as the owner of 4 restaurants, I find Facebook business suite to be one of the biggest annoyances of my day. Literally. Just wanted to go out of my way to say how terrible this app is. I hate the concept of having two (three including messenger) separate apps for facebook. It makes it painfully slow vs how it was w/ one app. Navigating the business app is a pain because I have to open a new app and go through 5-6 clicks just to find and get rid of a notification that says someone likes my page, when I already have seen this notification on regular FB app. I feel that is has poor ease of use and it ends up frustrating me and others who use this for our businesses. I really think FB has hit a wall and I don't think it will be around much longer. It's just become a place for people to post dumb videos. Business apps should be allowed to tag people too. Step it up fb.

It is convenient to post Instagram & Facebook simultaneously, but difficlut to do the hashtags as it is two extra clicks for every hashtag since it is not in the keyboard like on Instagram. Posts only go to 1% of people that have chosen to follow my page, and for even my friends to see things I have to share to my personal page. It’s all about the money to FB. What is the point of having people like something if one of the options is to boost a post and the audience be the people that already like my page. Add in that if you speak of reality flaws, you stand the risk of being censored just like they have censored people and news articles they do not like. They seem to be more about censoring and deciding for us what we want to see as opposed to being a platform that can truly be useful. They have become publishers, as a business you have to pay them to be seen and as an individual, Facebook jail is an most likely a definite if you don’t tow their desired line. It’s interesting how they chose to censor things about the Wuhan lab, and low and behold they were wrong. Let people read and decide for themselves instead of being similar to state run media..... because you also punish the businesses of the people that disagree with you. When I have over 1200 people like my small business page and it only is seen by 50 or so people over a 48 hour time window, something is wrong with the algorithm.... oh, but you don’t care.

It’s nice to have everything in one place with the business suite, but it seems like it takes forever to load and appointments can not be synched with my regular calendar which is very frustrating. I have a life outside of this part-time business and it would be nice not to have to manually enter appointments into my iPhone Microsoft outlook calendar.

we are running million dollar businesses in 2021 and is the only way to lead by example with clients is to be mobile with iphone or iPad not a laptop or desktop - stats show its growing and will not stop only go up in mobile use - with that being said its only natural to have all the features the business facebook has and more. Hope to see more features - I gave it a 5 just because it is so releasing to use the source and not outsource for scheduling with metrics thank you

If I could give zero stars, I would. This app has been nothing but problems since the day they switched it over from Pages. The private messages is the issue that makes me the most frustrated and irritated. When I try to open a new message, it spins forever and tells me that it’s reconnecting. Sometimes it will take days for the private message to show up. It’s absolutely unacceptable when you have potential clients trying to reach out. I can’t be the only one who has this issue so you’d think they would have it fixed by now.

I have had nothing but issues with the app since it’s transition from Pages. I constantly have to log in due to session expiration. I don’t receive alerts through app, so I miss messages and notifications. I get kicked out during the log in process due to an HTTPS connection fail.

For the last 5 days cannot even share a visitor post to the main page…. its AWFUL! I really don’t like this ap. There is no way to permanently delete old messages. I have to move them to a done folder but now have tons on there. I just want to be able to permanently delete the ones I don’t need any more. I liked it better when I just had messenger.

It bewilders me that a company like Facebook is unable to provide a stable app to manage pages. I constantly have to force close the app in order to see new comment notifications and messages. I have deleted and downloaded this app so many times hoping it would reset but no such luck. It tells me I have unread messages and comments but I check my inbox and posts and nothing. Then I realized it’s not just the app it’s the entire “business suite” that is bugged. I miss the Pages app all this extra stuff that’s been added is pointless and glitchy

Ever since I downloaded this app from the Facebook pages app my reviews and ratings have disappeared. I am not 100% sure if they are connected or if it’s just a coincidence but customer support wasn’t any help and basically just told me they don’t know what happened or when/if it will get fixed. This is very frustrating as it’s caused my customers to no longer be able to leave or view reviews and I believe it is negatively effecting my business. I guess it’s time to switch to my website and stop using Facebook.

I was getting confused through the whole messaging thing on my Facebook business page so I downloaded this app. It’s so much more simple and easier to understand for me, you can see stats and messages and everything. One problem: I can’t write new messages to people, I can only respond to what people have messaged me. If I want to start a new message, I am shown as my personal account, not my business page. There may be a way to do it on the Facebook app but I don’t know how. Adding a button to write to new people on this app would make it perfect.

Again the app is still garbage, always has been. Takes three days and 20 attempts to upload any videos. Always get to 70-80% and the app just stops, freezes and you have to close it and start over. No matter how many updates they’ve released, it never get any better. It’s also overly complicated, yet I still get notifications on Facebook app.

The scheduler turns itself in and off- but not at the scheduled times!!! The app says I have a number of notifications-. When I don’t - then an hour later I see the comment or message!!! Six months it’s been now that this worthless app randomly freezes and I have to repeatedly force quit and open it. Sometimes I have to restart my phone because when I click on the icon, it opens the app then immediately closes it, and does this until I reset. I’m not convinced the developers are doing literally anything with this app aside from changing things and adding things that are completely unnecessary.

It’s perfect, except for the fact it doesn’t have a draft feature. I cannot tell you how many times I have written out a post, switched over to another app like my texts for example, come back to the app and POOF, everything I wrote is GONE. Literally so many times I’m working on a post, and poof, the app resets as soon as I reopen it and all the hard work I put into writing the post is gone. Both insta and Facebook have a feature where it will save your work as a draft, or give you the option to. App developers... PLEASE, for the love of indecisive people everywhere, add a draft feature. So many will thank you!

It used to let me send the automated response to Instagram as well and it used to notify me if someone messaged. Now it’s stuck and it thinks I have an unread message when I don’t for the Instagram and it won’t show the automated message on Instagram anymore. I don’t understand what happened.

I wasn’t a big fan of pages, but at least I could jump between accounts and manage everything quickly and add pages as I went along. If you could give me that back I’d be happy. And give me room to add more than twenty or thirty pages to manage. I’m a budding empire and I have always tried to utilize Facebook for my aspirations. But I think a lot of the innovations are getting in the way of good old fashioned social networking. Aside that I love the new button look and that’s it. I don’t know if I can edit my page settings there or not. To manage my admins, I have gotten a notice that says there are new privacy rules coming.. I’m not there often but when I do come back something is always changed and it’s begining to not be fun anymore. Thank you

I’ve had more problems with the Business Manager than I ever did with Pages. The layout is too “clean” in the sense that everything has the same white/grey color scheme. I can’t share Event Invites/ links to my page’s timeline from the app, which is a problem because I’m a musician. I’d like to “Schedule” my posts about reminders for shows with links to their appropriate Events, but I can’t. I have to go to my actual Facebook app and share them from there (and don’t even get me started on THAT update) and set alarms on my phone for when they need to be posted because I can’t schedule them. I’ve also had a bunch of problems with bugs/glitches, not receiving some notifications, receiving some notifications multiple times, and poor access the server to post on my timeline (it takes a long time, times out, or disconnects completely. I usually have to close out the app completely and relaunch it). Overall, I feel like Business Manager has just taken important features for some of us away (the reality) versus giving us a user-friendly app to handle everything in one place (the intention). It’s great that I can post to Instagram simultaneously, but it’s still missing A LOT of the features and convenience that was a part of Pages. Stop “fixing” things that don’t need to be fixed. Stop changing the layout. Give us back the features we actually use and need.

There are several bugs with this app. It’s not even a functioning app anymore. It used to run great before they changed their name from Facebook pages to business suite. Ever since day light savings change, they have been sending reminders to my clients one hour off from their actual appointment times (you can see how this is bad for business). Also, you can not edit appointment times easily anymore. The pop up box to edit is over top of other buttons on the screen that makes it very difficult. My customers no longer get an appointment confirmation after I confirm their booking, when clients request a book now appointment. So to the client it is as if their appointment is not confirmed. Clients don’t get confirmation when I manually add an appointment either. This app just keeps going down hill. It started out with a few thing once they changed to business suite and it keeps getting worse and worse. I appreciate this app for my business, it really is a great feature to business FB pages, I hope they can start making improvements. At this point even just going back to how it used to be would be awesome. Edit: yike! This app keeps getting worse! Now I am getting appointments request and it does not notify me, nor does it let me message the client after approving the appointment. PLEASE PLEASE, get this 🙏🏻. Customers don’t understand when we don’t get back to them. I have zero way to contact my client because of this.

I’m normally a patient and understanding person. I think about things in shades of gray and from all sides. That said, this app and the website, bring forth a fiery rage I never knew I had. I’ve written many vitriolic reviews in my head. For a billion dollar company, it’s incredible to watch an app be so completely glitchy, buggy, and downright impossible to use. I’d expect it from a teenager in middle school with their midterm project on app creation to be made of. If turtles were in someone’s basement running this app, it would work better. Come on Facebook! I won’t even list the issues because I’d get carpal tunnel in the time it would take for me to type them all. I’ve started a drinking game for every time a new update comes out with “bug fixes” and doesn’t fix the bugs but adds new ones. I’m very close to alcohol poisoning at this point. I send reports of issues BEGGING for someone to address a major issue. Crickets. They’ve made it so you can’t do business without the app but then make it impossible to use. I’m stuck in some twisted episode of The Twilight Zone and no way out. I have saved replies to send my customers saying “sorry _x_ is there, it’s a bug. Just ignore it.” I spend my days teetering between madness and sanity when I open it. I’m pretty sure this is how comic book villains are made.

I actually haven’t updated off of fb manager version because I am not a fan of most of the updates, so this is a review regarding the app in general. If there were a negative star rating, I would be using it! Fb should remember K.I.S.S. And I will do the same. Simply put, if you don’t bother to show my posts to the people that have “liked” my business’ page, meaning that they want to see my posts, then none of these other things matter! We are a small service based business and we have 1200+ people that have liked our page but rarely are our posts shown to more than 150 of those people(according to your insights). Why is that? If I were to “boost” a post, it would be shown to a bunch of people but still not the people that have asked to see it and that are the targets of our posts. So, that is my biggest issue with this platform. There are countless more (like not being able to post a single picture as the header, now it is a slideshow, telling me I haven’t posted in a while when I post almost every day, no longer being able to write details about pictures when posting multiple at a time, etc.) but again, if you don’t show it to the people that have asked to see it, none of that matters!

I used this app to reply to a message from Instagram. Since Instagram has a character limit the message created in Business Suite was too long, but Facebook doesn’t have a character limit. On my end, it went through. There was no notification that the message was too long. I didn’t understand why my potential new client wasn’t responding because she had been very responsive before. A few days later, I ended up going to Instagram DM’s and looked at our message thread and there was no reply from me. Went back to Business Suite and the reply was there. This looked like negligence on my part. I had to copy my message to notes and break it up to send through Insta. Now I only reply to Instagram DMs in Instagram. I also get double the notifications for Instagram because they don’t update in the biz suite when you check them in Insta. I can’t turn my notifications off in Instagram because this app is not reliable. I would rather have the Pages app (or an equivalent) back and compartmentalize my comments and DMs. This app does not save me more time when I have to double and triple check everything. 👎🏼
Major Downgrade from the Pages App

If it ain’t broke, DON’T fix it. Why oh why would Facebook do this? Firstly the notifications don’t work so I have to keep checking to see if customers have messaged or commented. Before it was so much easier to invite people who liked your post to like your page too. You could have clearly seen who needs to be invited in bold blue with a raised button. Now the button is flat and looks like every button for people who already like your page or who you’ve already invited. Also the messaging is the worst! It looks like a webpage interface from the 1990’s with no, yeh, get this NO saved message responses. So now I have to use my Facebook app, then click on pages then access my Pages where Facebook conveniently toggles between me personally responding and me responding as my page. And the best part in business Suite I have different page names for the same business but guess what? Facebook gave all of them the SAME name. So now I never know which page I’m on. Can you all just reinstall the Pages app please and forget about this Business Suite thing until you get it right.

YOUR NAME IS ON THIS HEAP OF BURNING CRAP. I hate call caps. I do. I really seriously hate it because it’s overused and 99% of the time it’s unnecessary. But this time, it’s necessary. This time, it’s the only way I can get my message across strenuously enough. First off, this is a “free” app. Knowing that makes it marginally easier to understand why MZ has abandoned any urgency in fixing its issues. However, as many other reviews have stated clearly enough for my 3 year old niece to understand,... THIS. APP. DOESN’T. WORK. Since I “upgraded” from pages manager, it has told me that I have two unread messages in my inbox, and I don’t. I’ve refreshed, force quit and restarted the app, signed out and signed back in, and deleted and reinstalled this app to no avail. It still says I have two unread messages. Problem is, I can’t turn app badges off because I run a business on Instagram and FB. I’d miss commissions. So Zucky, who are you lying to this time? Those suckers who download this app hoping to use the features you purport to be available to them or those of us who “upgraded” from Pages based on your claims of it being easier to use and reliable?

I love having an outlet for my small business that’s not on Etsy. Much of the features are useful but it needs quite a bit of work. First, I wish I could post both a picture & a video at the same time. I like to showcase my items in still photos & a video. But currently, you cannot post both at the same time. It’s annoying and doesn’t allow me to display my items. Second, I cannot tag my clients in my posts. I would love to be able to tag a client in a post when I’m showcasing their custom item. Third, PLEASE STOP making recommendations in messenger. QUIT asking if I want to “book an appointment” or telling me “orders now get reported in ads manager”. These stupid boxes pop up in random private messages & it WILL NOT GO AWAY! They’re annoying and when I click “Not now” the box disappears but then comes right back when I enter back into that private message. Please make it stop! I’m sure there’s more feedback I could give, but this would be a great start! Thank you! 🤩

This app is frustrating. There are some nice features and I like having everything in once place but there are so many more issues. The messaging and comment section is clunky and not user friendly and I found it was much easier to just use Instagram to post and share from there to my Facebook page. The final straw was that I’ve had an “unread message” for weeks that I can’t clear. I’ve tried everything including deleting the app and redownloading. When the notification popped up again I was done. I searched for some fixes and found years old posts with the same issue that hasn’t been addressed. I deleted it after that. The business options for Facebook are so annoying anyway I’m considering removing my whole page so it wasn’t worth keeping the app that they clearly don’t fix or listen to problems that need to be addressed. A fantom notification doesn’t seem like that bit of a deal but it’s actually incredibly frustrating to think you’re missing someone’s message.

It is convenient to post Instagram & Facebook simultaneously, but difficlut to do the hashtags as it is two extra clicks for every hashtag since it is not in the keyboard like on Instagram. Posts only go to 1% of people that have chosen to follow my page, and for even my friends to see things I have to share to my personal page. It’s all about the money to FB. What is the point of having people like something if one of the options is to boost a post and the audience be the people that already like my page. Add in that if you speak of reality flaws, you stand the risk of being censored just like they have censored people and news articles they do not like. They seem to be more about censoring and deciding for us what we want to see as opposed to being a platform that can truly be useful. They have become publishers, as a business you have to pay them to be seen and as an individual, Facebook jail is an most likely a definite if you don’t tow their desired line. It’s interesting how they chose to censor things about the Wuhan lab, and low and behold they were wrong. Let people read and decide for themselves instead of being similar to state run media..... because you also punish the businesses of the people that disagree with you. When I have over 1200 people like my small business page and it only is seen by 50 or so people over a 48 hour time window, something is wrong with the algorithm.... oh, but you don’t care.

I was actually picked as a consumer and small business owner to be apart of a Facebook Survey in which I was able to answer questions about how I liked the accessibility of the Business Suites App. I like it a lot. I even got a Visa gift card out of the deal, but that’s beside the point. I wasn’t scammed. My ideas were taken into consideration and my voice felt heard. This probably sounds strange coming from a Facebook review, as a lot of people aren’t the biggest fans. I do enjoy the Business Suites app a lot overall, and my ability to streamline posts between FB & Insta in one fell swoop is very convenient. Thanks for helping me help you, Facebook. Also, thanks for all the assistance in making progress in learning the best marketing tools and techniques through your app. I also do a lot of advertisements through Facebook as well, and that has really increased my business’s likeness in my community.

I absolutely loved pages, I have a business page which is my primary business with over 160,000 followers, and I did A LOT of business with this app. I was delighted when I saw that this was converting to the sweets, however after updating it it no longer recognizes my primary business page. The frustrating thing is that it lists pages I created over the last 10 yearsI never use. It lists those with no problem. But my primary, Maine, page it just will not see and I have no idea how to fix it. Of course there’s no one actually accountable that I can contact, so in the end I’ve had to just go back to my PC. I am so frustrated with us, and believe me I’ve googled it, I’ve submitted a ticket via Facebook, I just don’t know where to go. If you are currently a pages user, try to get as much life as you can out of that app before converting, because if you have the problem that I do, there is no way to fix it.I am only too happy to be contacted directly by the developers should they read this message, however I am not holding my breath.

Trying to update my business profile in the Facebook Business Suite doesn’t function properly 99% of the time. When I attempt to update my business description message or update or add a new logo or cover photo it doesn't save it (the circle keeps spinning as though it’s processing my request, but never does- I have to log into my laptop and log in to submit these changes. I experienced the same issues when I used to use the Facebook Business Manager. Both APPS need a lot of work and for business owners to run our businesses proficiently from these FB APPS, these glitches needs to be rectified. The only two things the FB Business Suite and FB Business Manager APPS allow me to do seamlessly are post to my timeline and pay for sponsored ads. How convenient for Facebook. Overall, I’m not pleased with either APP so will be deleting both from my device. I’ll update and post from my laptop. You would think as big as this company is their APPS would function seamlessly.

This app replaced the Pages app and it’s much worse than that app. I wish I could get that app back. 1. The “invite”, “liked”, and “invited” buttons are all the same color. So hard to figure out who needs to be invited to like our page. The “invite” function is very important to Business pages, please make it easier. 2. I’m on the IPhone XR. I’ve had to leave the app to get back to the home page. Some comments never loaded at the bottom of my screen. I had to use my computer to see them. 3. The only benefit I see to this app is better integration with Instagram, but at what cost. I would prefer having to use two great apps vs one terrible app. Maybe Instagram and Facebook aren’t meant to be managed from the same app. 4. The new posts interface is very clunky, it’s hard to interact with customers who leave comments and likes on our posts. It takes me to my personal Facebook account and I end up accidentally commenting as myself instead of my page. 5. There is NOWHERE to see page check-ins and page recommendations. These are two important ways that we interact with customers. Why has it been made so hard? The only way I can currently see them is if i catch them in real time, right when posted. This app has made it hard to manage our page and our big ad campaign. The ad performed great at a reasonable price. The follow up was made complicated by the challenges of this app.

They completely ruined the app when they switched from pages to business suite. Definitely a ploy to only allow businesses to interact with their customers if they are paying Facebook‘s overpriced advertisement fees. The app is now so glitchy even if you do manage to make a post a lot of times it gets screwed up and you have to take it down and change it to repost it. They’re playing some sort of silly game where you have to give them access to your entire photo library or you’re not allowed to select and use photos. Facebook has overstepped many boundaries for privacy and this one is no different forcing the user to allow access to their library to post a picture is ignorant and definitely unethical. I will never spend a penny for advertisement on Facebook. I like to make educated decisions and not be forced into doing things that the company demands so they can get into your life and sell more pieces of you. Horrible app., Facebook‘s days are numbered.
Glitches and poor improvements

It went from glitchy to even more glitchy - from showing tons of notifications when there were none to not showing them at all. The new update is awful. It didn’t fix anything and made several things much worse. Moving the area where you select which page you want to the bottom, when do you have to click at the top to get there, is counterintuitive. Making the words liked, invite and invited tiny and all the same when you look at page likes to invite new people is horrible design, before you could tell easily who had not liked your page yet, but now it is much harder to see. And when are they going to update the app enough so that it can see Facebook fundraisers on posts? Update: The updates just keep getting worse and worse. This new format is awful. I can’t even see our posts anymore. They took a good app, then had to add way too many features and completely ruined it.

Facebook isn’t known for being good and this app is no exception. The only reason anyone is using it, is because Facebook just has a large, captive audience. Even now, in the app’s review panel, I can’t see the words I’m typing. On the iPad, the app constantly switches to vertical mode. Being able to post to Instagram is useless since to add a first comment or bio link, you have to go to Instagram anyways. Facebook tags don’t work at all and when you are able to tag a business, it’s 50/50 if the business even shows up. At least that works somewhat better on the browser. What does work? Facebook’s ability to take your money. Their transaction portion works well. Not sure if this review makes sense, again, the app’s review panel doesn’t show text. Horrible, laughable, and typical Facebook—only used by marketers and promoters to reach an audience hopelessly stuck on the platform until something better comes along or Facebook finally (and hopefully) fails.

It’s perfect, except for the fact it doesn’t have a draft feature. I cannot tell you how many times I have written out a post, switched over to another app like my texts for example, come back to the app and POOF, everything I wrote is GONE. Literally so many times I’m working on a post, and poof, the app resets as soon as I reopen it and all the hard work I put into writing the post is gone. Both insta and Facebook have a feature where it will save your work as a draft, or give you the option to. App developers... PLEASE, for the love of indecisive people everywhere, add a draft feature. So many will thank you!

Edit 6/7/21 Just wanted to come back and say that as the owner of 4 restaurants, I find Facebook business suite to be one of the biggest annoyances of my day. Literally. Just wanted to go out of my way to say how terrible this app is. I hate the concept of having two (three including messenger) separate apps for facebook. It makes it painfully slow vs how it was w/ one app. Navigating the business app is a pain because I have to open a new app and go through 5-6 clicks just to find and get rid of a notification that says someone likes my page, when I already have seen this notification on regular FB app. I feel that is has poor ease of use and it ends up frustrating me and others who use this for our businesses. I really think FB has hit a wall and I don't think it will be around much longer. It's just become a place for people to post dumb videos. Business apps should be allowed to tag people too. Step it up fb.
Fixed landscape, but...

Well, they fixed landscape mode, but that's just one problem. Now, the calendar will not update to show new appointments as they come in. The message with the appointment will come through, but it won't appear on the calendar until much later or after closing and reopening the app. This causes problems with my business because I don't know about appointments that have been made. Another issue is that the microscopic dot below the message icon is nearly impossible to see. Fix this app so I can run my business properly. Oh, and another thing. I have it set up for 30 minute appointments on the hour and half hour, but this stupid app will show available appointments on the quarter hour which seriously screws up my schedule. It’s usually on Thursday or Friday and I can’t figure out how to fix it.

I have 22,000 followers on my page snd I can’t communicate with them. If I send a message with multiple pictures and info with each pic, it is scrambling everything. It keeps saying connecting. I’ve never had this problem before. I am on wifi. That’s not the problem. The customer can respond but I can’t see unless I leave business suite and go to my regular business page. I liked my pages app so so much. Once you changed to business suite , it has been one bug after another. I’m trying to run a business and am trying to respond to my customers but it’s not working. It won’t connect and send the message. The regular business page, the comment line is too small and not business savvy. I hate the appointment pop up. I have reported it a dozen times about my message problem. No messages big or small are working. Can someone please help me. My page is The Bead Hive in Virginia. I’m desperate

I do not like this new format at all. I don’t know what the thought process was behind these changes, but this is nothing but ridiculous. I use to be able to post anything, anytime, anywhere without a problem. Now it’s a real process! If you manage more than one page, all your photos from all the pages get dumped into one place. Same with forms of payment. If I want to place an ad, I have to be very careful which card I choose to make payment. I also have to worry about other admins having access to these forms of payment that may have nothing to do with the page they’re helping to manage. I realize these business pages are free but Facebook could be doing a much better job of laying these pages out and making them more user friendly for the people who rely on them. The older format was 100% better!!!

As usual in typical Facebook fashion they’ve found a way to inconvenience their customers. Facebook is a truly awful company with the worlds absolutely worst customer service but they found a way to sink lower. I use to engage with my fans a lot using polls and since Facebook took that way a lot of my page fans have become quite upset. Next they took away being able to be post backgrounds for our post. Smh. It’s watered down junk now. They made the UI a tiny better but took away everything else. Update: Business sweet is ok. Not great. It needs to have the ability to share products from your shop to the page. All you can do is edit 2021 update: Once again Facebook has proved why they are worst platform in all creation. They removed the option to tag products in post. Something that made it convenient for customers to buy from a post. So sick of them

I just got the iPhone 12....I was super confused when I transferred everything my FB Pages app would not work at all. Finally I deleted it and went to reinstall when to my horror I realized it’s been taken away and now it is FB Business Suite. I downloaded it aaaaand now all I get is a white screen. Deleted, redownloaded.....white screen. So now I have zero access to my business page from my phone! I think it’s crazy that things with FB Business Pages are not handled well seeing as we are the ones that pay them. Not the other trillions of people on FB. Smooth sailing free for them. US, who PAY to have people that WE worked so hard for to get to like our page. We have to pay to even show our followers what we are doing. I would totally boycott if FB didn’t run the world. But can we just even get some access to run our business pages. No worries, we will even PAY you after you fix things.

It’s hard to even know where to start, many of us completely run our biz on our FB page, using this app with ANY APPLE DEVICE has always been difficult, even the old “Pages” app had hundreds of glitches & issues, but the latest version of this app has put my biz at a standstill! U can’t upload pics, u can’t ban scammers during a live, u can’t search anything, I can’t even find my groups at all, the PM section either pops up on a message thread wanting me to “mark paíd” or “schedule appointment”(features ive never used) & makes it impossible to read & reply to messages, my followers say they never know when I’m live even tho they have notifications on, and virtually overnight I went from 500 live viewers to less than 100! These r just a few of the thousands of problems from my MacBook laptop, IPhone, & IPad-Get your crap together FB, you are ruining businesses!

Update: things have gotten worse if you can believe that. Can’t add any ads now. Can’t use custom audiences. This app is almost useless. Whoever works on this app should hire some QA that will institute proper QA processes. Maybe I’m more concerned over QA issues because it was my field, but the bottom line is the app has some serious, obvious bugs that should have been easily found in QA. The bugs that appear after simple updates are absurd. People are trying to run their business from this thing. I’d pay money to make it better, for real. Here’s an example of the ridiculousness: Latest update - the landscape mode on iPad is gone - Can’t use a keyboard attached to your iPad anymore unless you want to break your neck. Also sorting comments doesn’t work. And sorting to “unread, follow up, etc” hasn’t worked for WEEKS and submitting bug reports does nothing. Can’t view sub comments. (Won’t expand). Can’t scroll down “scroll down to see more comments” never goes away / doesn’t let you scroll to see more comments. You’re one of the biggest tech companies in the world, your app has serious issues. Why is this? These breaking bugs (landscape is mandatory. Workers cannot use their iPads now. Using the mobile site or app to answer messages is a horrendous user experience.
Lots of glitches

Basically, I’m okay with the set up if it worked. I’m notified that I have x number of Messages, but they cannot be found. Comments are sometimes listed, but I frequently have to go to my Facebook Page to actually see them. Sometimes, it will not allow me to message videos to my Customers and if it does, I’m only allowed 30 seconds for the video length. This is definitely not enough time when trying to show a Customer more details about an item. I find that I constantly have to flip back and forth from the app to my actual Facebook Page. To me, it feels like it costs me more time, than saving time. It would be helpful if it allowed me to see my Facebook Page Photo Albums, so that I can answer Customers questions without having to go to my Facebook Page to see what the Customer is talking about. Bottom line is the App needs a lot of work
Ruined my Instagram

Nomad soon as I downloaded this app, my notifications completely STOPPED coming through Instagram and I no longer get them. For me, this app is not user friendly and I don’t need it for what I currently do on Instagram for business, yet when I deleted it, my Instagram notifications did not start coming again. There are no settings to decide where you prefer to get notifications from any social media platform. I’ve reached out to Facebook and Instagram in every possible way and to no avail. How can this be a useful business tool if it completely screws up the way you run business with no solution how to change back!! Totally frustrated and hopeless over here. Why do all notifications need to be funneled through this? All my notification settings are turned to on, yet nothing is coming through. Unhappy customer.
iPhone 12 screen size support issue

I received my iPhone 12 and I use this app for my job. Unfortunately the app is not compatible with the screen size of this phone. When I choose an image to share I cannot because the cancel and done buttons are layered behind the battery, signal, and time layer of the top of the phone. It makes this more complicated trying to post. Even on the original Facebook pages app even when I revert back it is the same issue. So now I can currently only post within my own Facebook personal app. Doing this now does not allow me to immediately post to Instagram either. Please fix the screen size issue with this app or unless it’s a bug. I did not have this issue with iOS 14 on my iPhone 11 Pro. My job depends on this app daily. Thank you.
Going from bad to worse rapidly

I use this app for my Facebook page business The messaging function, the most important part, is extremely broken It does not notify me of messages coming in (even though all permissions are turned on) and it takes 2-3 minutes at best to send a single message. It’s constantly flashing a bar that says “waiting to reconnect” “connected!” “Waiting to reconnect” no matter where I am, on or off WiFi. It is not my area because everything else works perfectly fine with the internet. While it may not seem like a long time it means everything takes forever and I can’t do anything else when talking with a client. Not to mention the app is basically broken in every other way Plus the integration between Facebook and Instagram is terrible and I wish I never linked my two accounts, it only makes for a giant confusing mess. Please stop hurting small businesses and make your app work at a basic level Edit: Now I have a never ending notification saying I have a message. This problem persists even when I open my computer to deal with the issue I also often do not receive messages from my clients, they only appear after I check them on the computer. The Instagram chats bug out like crazy.

How this app has 4.4 rating at the time of writing this review I don’t know. It is by far one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Facebook truly does not care about small businesses by moving everyone over to a junk app like this, poorly thought through, terrible user interface, and simply does not work for so many small business page management tasks. Even eight months after forcing small business owners onto this stupid “business suite“ concept in the middle of a pandemic (as if we didn’t have enough difficulty deal with!) many of the initial major bugs are still not fixed. What on earth are all the billions in revenue being spent on, if small businesses are the number one revenue stream? I believe Zuckerberg truly does not have his eye on the ball if he is not making this app his number one priority, which it absolutely should be.

I waited before writing my review. I’ve had this app ever since they replaced the FB Page with this app and it still needs improvement! For 1: Please bring back the option to Add to Your Story. It makes no sense to ONLY be able to do this via Facebook, especially if you don’t use your personal page or you’re trying to use it less and be more active on your business account! It’s both cases for me. 2: Isn’t there a way to see all the features we need without having to switch back and forth between Suite and Page. It gets confusing. I miss the simplicity when it was just Facebook page. 3: Notifications. Has this been fixed because I still don’t receive a notification sound whenever I receive a comment on my posts or messages from Instagram. Speaking of which, why when I’ve read a message on Instagram, it still shows up as UNREAD on the Suite? I dislike reading on one platform but it doesn’t connect thru the other, even tho it’s connected. 4: Logo: Will you be updating the icon? It’s very bland and doesn’t seen to represent what the app is supposed to do. It kinda looks like something was just thrown together quickly.

Significant bugs, loss of updated “messages” and comments (now four days old) despite thousands that should be there since.... no notification panel anymore... persistent warning about facebook’s limitations in accessing user data for their marketing... sorting does not work properly when trying to see current comment threads on posts... i’ve been forced to bounce between checking manually from my personal facebook account by business pages to see updates and even that does not work properly. Also, if you are used yo inviting people to like your page after liking your content, good luck - its now barely noticeable as you scroll to find members to invite. Even using a mobile browser to log in for page management setup is better than this app. BEWARE!
Bad update

Before i did the update it was fine. Since the update (1) the screen now stays sideways.... it no longer tilts so ic an view it normal on my iPad Pro. And (2) if i do use it... sideways on my iPad Pro - i now have to disconnect the iPad front he keyboard dock so i can time sideways on the ipad - but when i set it back on the keyboard dock the keyboard no longer works. It’s a lot of hoops and jumps to connect and disconnect and close out windows just to make it work again. So like everyone else - i wonder wheat was actually fixed and when the stuff that broke will be fixed again. Or.... is there a magical trick to do the screen rotation.... a simple feature - yet i can no longer use this anymore. And... i do not wish to connect this to instagram - yet it seems like it wants to or automatically will.... why??? Insta and fb bus page is way different.
Just doesn’t work

When I log into this app, it loads a white screen. There are no words, buttons, nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have changed my password to force a logout. I have rebooted the phone. I have it on two phones and it does the same thing on both phones. I also can’t see my business page on Messenger like I could at some point, so I am entirely unable to message with my customers on Facebook on either iPhone. The phones are running different operating systems. I am quite sick of Facebook’s lack of support for business customers like myself. I run ads periodically and have decided that it is idiotic to give money to a company that doesn’t care about its customers. They will not be receiving any more of my money until they create actual support. FAQs are not support.

This is one of the worst apps on the planet. If the other app wasn’t broke why try and fix it. And if you were going to change it, you should make sure it’s better than the once you replaced it with. I no longer get notifications that a client comments or booked an appointment. I can’t see my photos like before. So if a client ask for a picture I have no way of getting to them. This app is garbage and should be thrown in the dumpster. This app is costing me to lose customers. Also some stuff I actually have to log into Facebook to do on my own page. Had this crazy feeling like I should be able to do this from the app. But guess what you can’t. I’m sick of this mess. Go back to the drawing board and try again. And until you figure out the issue. Give us back Page Manager.

So I am having so many issues now.... I have tried reinstalling the app. It just doesn’t work right sense one of the last updates. I cannot CANNOT book appointments for my clients. The way the app tries to open the portion of the window on my iPhone 11 it cannot open the screen correctly for you to impute and save the time and dates of the appointments. So I let them request the appointments and of course that doesn’t work either. It won’t let me click the confirm button to accept their request. Also it still says I have unread messages which I do not. I went through them all in all inboxes individually. There ARE NO UNREAD MESSAGES. I understand this is a free app. However. IM WILLING TO PAY IF THE APP WOULD WORK CORRECTLY. I will be soon moving a large portion of my business to go through other means of communication for my client base. That says a lot considering I own a tattoo shop and social media is a huge help in marketing and communication for current and new clients.
Great for organizing your messages and comments all in one place

I really like this app to keep all my messages from Facebook and Instagram organized and so I can post at both places at the same time! The only thing I don’t like is that it’s hard to find comments that are new on a particular picture, especially if there are a lot of comments already. If I get a notification that someone has commented on a picture, it only takes me to the picture and not their specific comment, so I have to scroll through and find them to be able to reply. But this app has served me well otherwise!

If you have multiple business pages to manage this is nice it keeps everything in one spot. Sometimes it doesn’t let me know when someone has messaged me. It also takes a while to catch up that I have read a comment. The newer update allows you to switch from page to page easily. I don’t like that if you are in “list” mode (which it puts you there automatically) that it won’t let me click to see what I’ve posted. I need to back to switch it to FB feed mode every time. Also, depending on other people’s privacy settings it won’t show you who has shared your content. Which I also don’t like. But it’s an okay app that keeps things a little more organized.

I am not satisfied with this app at all. The old version of this app was called Facebook Pages, and I loved it! It was easy to use, and great for my business side of Facebook! Since the update to Business Suite, NONE of my messages will load from my customers. I will get a notification that I have received a message, but I can not open the message, read the message, or respond to the message. It’s awful. It completely defeats the purpose of having a second app besides messenger for Facebook. I know this is not a glitch on my phone, but the apps glitch due to the fact that 2 other people besides myself are all logged on the same app and our messages will not load on their phones either. Please fix this or give us business pages back!

I love having all my messages and comments in one place but it needs to have better functionality when responding to comments, I’d like to be able to like the comment without having to go to the app to do so. Also my notifications are messed up. I have an unread message and when I filter to the unread messages it displays no unread messages. No matter what I do I can’t get rid of that 1 on my messages. The idea is there but I think there’s more that can be done to make it more efficient. But I am thankful for it right now 😄
Worthless app

This app crashes and freezes my iPhone. This app appeared on my phone without my downloading it. When I open it a message pops up that I can win a bunch of money if I click okay. There is no way to close that window which I’m sure is spam and was not there before this app appeared on my phone. App does not have a good flow to it when I have been able to use it which has been about two minutes before the spam giveaway letter pops up. Why did you do away with the old Pages Manager? It was much better than this one. Does the developer tests new FB apps before giving them to the public? You should not use the public as your testers!!! This app stinks.

Latest update turned on a pretty crappy and inhuman auto response in the background which also muted message notifications - I ended up almost losing a customer as a result. It’s obviously great that you provide this service for free! At the same time, if you want us to continue to rely on it to manage our businesses, can you please send an automated message to us in advance letting us know what’s changing in the new version so we’re not caught off guard? That would be really nice thank you!

They slapped a fancy interface and logo on it abs call it a suite. I have tried every possible way to get notification alerts turned on for messenger and no matter what it will not happen. I have to open either this app or messenger to see if I have messages, I do not receive any sort of alert to when I receive new messages and to say this is seriously damaging the flow of my business is an incredible understatement. I’m sincerely so considering closing my fb page and just using my website and google. It is a simple thing, if someone sends me a message I want it to pop up on my phone and ding just like it does when someone sends my personal fb a message. It is amazing to me that you have failed to produce this simple request, I’ve been complaining for MONTHS about it.
Instagram Scheduler Way Too Buggy

I manage a few pages as part of my job. I was really excited when Facebook finally introduced an Instagram scheduling tool, because that meant I would no longer have to sit on my phone and wait until exactly a specific time to try and push out posts across all accounts. Well, it’d be nice if this feature actually worked. It seems like 90% of the time, when the scheduled post is supposed to go out, this app just deletes it instead without giving any notice. This is super frustrating, and if apps like Hootsuite and Later can figure out a non-buggy way to schedule posts, you’d think the owners of Instagram would be able to as well.

Previous version was good but the new look, updates and layout are terrible! I have used this and have grown my business and want to keep using it but it doesn’t work! In order to get my messages to a customer I have to constantly close the app and open it up again so 1 message will go thru! I usually just go to my computer and message from there. The Event Calendar is soo jumbled, it used to put in for personal events which is what I use most with names and dates. Now it just personal event. No names or preview. Just personal event and a date. GARBAGE! Just a few things that this app just doesn’t do well anymore. But add you Instagram account... oh yeah that what I want to do with this jumbled mess!
Annoying Notice

You know that little red circle on an iPhone that tells you you have a notification for a particular app... well it won’t go away. I clear all my notifications because I hate seeing that and this is the only app it won’t clear on. It says I have 1 unread message but when I go to the unread message section it says I have no unread messages. I try to stay on top of things but since it won’t go away, I don’t know if I need to be checking it or not. I do like the ease of posting to both FB and IG simultaneously and for that I would give the app 5 stars... if they fix this bug and keep it fixed this time, I will change my rating.

Business Suite is the latest update circa Oct 2020; Also the biggest FAIL EVER - it fails to launch and it causes my ipad to freeze on black screen and I must power down everything to escape this update that behaves like a malicious virus - DO NOT INSTALL the latest update. I generate a lot of original content and I also promote commercial traffic by re-posting - and this latest updat has made your app such a piece of crApp! Losing links, re-posting well crafted content with dropped reference link - I give up - do you idiots test AT ALL ?!? This app is needed if u want to manage your business pages on FB but its so poorly implemented that its a huge deterrent to business customers - and FB tries to charge for promoting posts and throttles communications - big FAIL for this app
