Lost SoundCloud Compatibility?
by Binwy on 2019/09/13 10:52
This app used to give the option to post your creations to soundcloud. No longer. I’m not sure if it’s this app or changes to SoundCloud itself, but i would love to have a way to easily store and listen to songs in case everything gets erased!

I have to sign in now?
by swingster on 2019/09/02 19:36
Loved this app, until one of the updates forces me to create a sign-in account to use it. Not crazy about that part. Drops from 4 to 3 stars.
Great freebie
by w33t on 2019/09/02 17:35
What an awesome app. Scratches my music composition app very well. Dunno if I have not discovered the feature yet or not, but would love a way to export. 10/10 will use again.
Why do you need to log in?

Fun but could be fixed
by Mr.FlutterDash on 2019/08/28 05:08
Sometimes when I try to make a song, it glitches and the circle indicating my finger pressed the screen appears in recording mode, but it makes no sound. Has been getting worse. Also, there is no way that I know of to transfer your songs from an old device to a new one and there is no 3 beat per bar mode
F**k yeah!!!

Lots of potential with this one. Good job.
Good app but lost all my music

All my work gone
by Critical Guy on 2019/07/31 11:56
In the original app, I wrote a lot of music. Then the app was removed, Allihoopa shutdown, and all that work was lost. Now the app is back, but my work is not. Seems a losing bet.
it’s a really cool app

I love Figure.
by bethomatik on 2019/07/28 05:02
I’ve been using Figure since it first released, and I still using it on a daily basis. Why use journals when you can say how you feel through easy to make melodies? I’ll still go back to old songs and either fine tune them or remix them entirely. I have no musical experience, mind you. I know nothing of song keys or structure. Choose a key, you’ve got eight bars, make something nice in a matter of a few minutes once you have it down. Devs, I would absolutely love to see the ability to two things: 1) Volume automation. Similar to how I can record the tweaks of different pieces of the song, I would like to be able to crescendo certain parts of the songs. 2) This one is a stretch, but I want the ability to send my song files to other friends with the app. Back when Propellerhead had the ability to share songs online, I’d share, have a friend download, then they remix it, then I download, then remix it... very lengthy process. Let me share my songs easily!
Figure Rocks!

Omg. This app is amazing! Creating great beats that sound amazing on this app is a daily, problem-less thing with this awesome app. 5 stars! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I recommend this app to all who love beats!
love app HATE PROGRAMER’S HEAVY HAND
by MADD WRITER on 2019/07/23 11:52
need 16 bars and more instruments. more fx options. could build market for these and make bank. app < business < market forcing interaction create hate. take your star out of the app and happiness goes up. this app has so much potential, if you would stop forcing interaction.

Hands down best app for iOS
by caseofdesign on 2019/07/17 00:55
I love this app. Simple, clean, sounds great, infinite possibilities. I had a android device for a bit. Had to go back to apple just for this. I use ableton at home, this is a great starter for almost all of my compositions. I would give it 10 stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My favorite app
by Hb5h35dr9821 on 2019/07/14 08:58
I love this app because of it's simplicity. It's default sound quality and mix are excellent. Just wish the instruments were quicker to browse so I can easily switch to my favorite instruments. Also really needs a "bounce tracks to wav/aiff" feature so we can continue the arrangement process. Still love the app though. Edit: looks like you can double tap the patch name to bring up the full list! Request: please include the song photo inside the exported audio file, if there is one. It would be nice to see that photo when sharing the audio file with friends.
Mandatory Accounts
by Bran321 on 2019/07/11 22:45
Looks like they’ve locked everyone out and now require sign up and an account. Before, this app didn’t need an account to make and save songs and cool music. Do not need more sign ins for social features no one asked for.

Hate new forced log-in and account creation
by ___HG___ on 2019/06/29 22:22
This software cannot be used anymore without an account. It is absolutely NOT needed for this app to be functional. I hate it when developer do this. Apple, you shouldn’t allow this. Or at least you should warn users of this kind of app-locking changes. I should be able to choose NOT to update.
Fun music toy/tool
by dysamoria on 2019/06/29 14:38
I admit I misjudged Figure. I gave it a second try a while back and it finally clicked for me. Maybe it was the inclusion of the "intro" in the current version, which wasn't present in earlier versions (and needs a switch to enable after it’s been dismissed!). Because Figure is simplistic, it was easy to misunderstand. This isn't a professional musician's tool. You cannot edit the patches, and exporting stems for a DAW is probably clumsy (no automatic multitrack export, but I bet soloing a track and repeatedly exporting works ok). Still, there's no reason why Figure can't be used as a starter for a professional project or as inspiration. It certainly is fun to play with, and you can double the available tracks (or jam with a friend) by synchronizing two iOS devices (if you have access to another device). I must apologize to Propellerhead for my earlier bad reviews. I get it now.

Added Forced Account Creation.
by BottleRocket_ on 2019/06/29 01:35
What is with the forced account creation. This isn’t and shouldn’t be acceptable. Also, I just checked other reviews and saw the responses from the developer. They’re condescending. What a bunch of scumbags.

Account needed
by Liquidsmk on 2019/06/19 22:10
Stick em up! This app didn’t used to require an account to use it. Why does it now. I’ve had this app for a long time and suddenly now I can’t use it without creating yet another account. Super lame and I will not be creating an account. I will be deleting this app and it’s such a shame because I enjoyed using it. But not enough to support data mining.
This is a great app!
by Jumpingwater on 2019/06/19 21:38
Awesome!
Hopefully Propellerhead Revisits This App
by Nutshelldj on 2019/06/12 23:35
This app has so much potential, hopefully the new CEO will make this more functional for the producer on the go.
Figure is freaky
by Azirophale on 2019/06/12 07:26
Figure is kind of weird and unusual but very cool. Makes you think about music in a different and more fluid way. Takes a little getting used to, but well worth the effort. Try it!!!
Awesome and Solid
by AudioFella on 2019/06/12 05:41
This is a great free app for music creativity. This is a must have. It keeps surprising you with how much you can do. I still haven’t fully figured out how to bounce this to Reason but it provides a good song base of ideas really quickly.
Doesn’t Get Better Than This
by Sophicx on 2019/06/08 00:19
If you want to make a song in less than 5-10 minutes, Figure is the app for you. Once you get the controls down, you can make all the songs you could dream of making! I wish you could interact between two different tunes in one song, but I would still give this app 5/5 stars. Please download this app and give it a try. Good for all ages, at anytime, and anywhere!

by Ghorn70 on 2019/05/30 18:33

👍
Easily one of the best iOS music making apps available.
by Superdave126 on 2019/05/28 13:47
I use this app every week to create quick beats for a TV series I edit. It’s super easy to create something on the go and export. Please add iCloud support (to sync song files between devices), higher quality audio exports (it only does 44.1kHz right now - reason compact does 48kHz at least) and a pattern editor to fix note hitting issues instead of having to delete and overwrite. Thanks again!
Crushin’ Em
by The Organist on 2019/05/27 23:33
The developer and programmers of Figure nailed it. This is truly created by people that understand music creation. Figure is the best implementation for compositional ease on a mobile device. Midi export would make this an essential tool for every musician.

Fututus et mori in igni.
by Sh!tlord Imperator on 2019/05/23 17:58
Why do I need to make an account to use an app? (rhetorical question, obviously). It would be one thing if it was always this way — I would know that was a requirement and I could take it or leave it — but changing it after using it for years so I can’t access my old files? Futue te ipsum! This kind of junk ruined the Take app and now this one too. I don’t want to give you my email. Ede faecum.
Fantastic mobile music instrument app
by T.j.V. on 2019/05/23 17:14
Of all the apps available for mobile devices, Figure is by far the easiest to get your head around and start making music immediately. However, there are limitations that I would love to see addressed in future releases. 1. MIDI out - there isn’t any. The method of input in Figure is really fun, smooth and elegant. I would really like to use Figure as a MIDI device for other apps and hardware devices. 2. Song length - 8 bars max. Many apps available in iOS offer multiple scenes for each track. Figure could certainly benefit from the addition of something like Live’s scenes. 3. Sampler instrument - missing. Figure has a fantastic immediacy that would benefit from a built-in sampler that works in harmony with the rest of Figure’s feature set. 4. AU3 - I hope I hope I hope! Multiple instances of Figure in AUM or apeMatrix would be so cool!!!

by alipop101 on 2019/05/14 23:51
had this app for years. after the update, they force users to create an account in order to use it. deleting now.
Now requires acct just to use the app!
by Eriptron on 2019/05/14 23:24
Update: The v3.0 update now “requires” an account with your email address or to create a Propellerhead account and to log into it just to use the app! Why?? 5 stars to 1 star for Propellerhead’s apparent direction with Figure. Yeah, they got it back. Big whoop, as all Propellerhead ‘appears’ to be focusing on is pulling it into Reason, which is puzzling since Figure supposedly was the synth engine out of Reason. Anyway, for us Figure owners that either have no desire to use big, complicated DAWs or simple can’t afford $400 for Reason, this is a huge disappointment. What Figure needs is the ability to import/export files so Figure owners can remix their friend’s pieces. (What really should have happened IMO was for Apple to buy Allihoopa but Tim Cook wasn’t that smart. In essence, Music saved Apple once! What will Now?) ——- You’ll still be able to use Figure but not with the social music sharing, remixing, etc. Too bad as Allihoopa is the best out there. None of the other sites (like Bandlab) just aren’t as good nor fun/easy to use. —— In the little more than 9 months that I've been using Figure, and it can be maddening at times, it also never ceases to amaze me from time to time! Does it have a boatload of features? No. But what it does, it does very well! You can be as manual or as automated as you like in your music production. My suggesting? Get it. What do you have to lose? Well, time, basically. Hours can go by in seemingly minutes but it is so much fun❣️ And the Allihoopa experience is, well, one of the very best experiences in my life❣️
32 bar limitation
by BrockLowstetter on 2019/05/11 04:55
Love this app, everything about it. Except for the ability to only build songs up to 32 bars which is very annoying and limiting.

by 7zonneikan on 2019/05/04 12:59

Account now required
by PettyEvil on 2019/04/28 21:13
This was a good app that didn’t require an account. Now there’s an account requirement to use it. If it was a free app I’d expect it, but I had paid for it long ago. Devs, if you want to monetize data collection spin off a ver 2 and cease support on the perfectly functional no-account required version.
Way Too Much Fun⚡︎
by aaronjonestown on 2019/04/26 07:11
This app sounds and feels so much better than it ought to! Despite an interface that seems a bit constrained, it is incredibly easy to churn out really catchy stuff. The percussion and synths sound excellent. My only complaint is that one can't make full songs with it; it is more or less limited to less than a minute- long loops.
Easy and fun
by Stewy on 2019/04/26 05:19
Figure is so much fun. Sometimes I bring it out at kickbacks and make sometimes great, sometimes terrible beats with friends. I can also make music while getting around or show off tracks over Bluetooth anywhere. It’s a definitely a gateway drug to making music :). My main criticism is that it needs to support multiple sequences per synth group, ie multiple drum sequences from different drum synths. And more synths would be great too.
Fun And Functional
by ReviewerOne on 2019/04/26 01:54
This is my favorite (beat creation) App! I didn’t want to delete my original because it’s loaded with beats and photos for each that capture a moment in time. I’m so glad it’s being actively developed again. I find this so much more fun to play with than anything else in the App Store. Thank you! SM
locked out of content because they want marketing data
by sir john pierce on 2019/04/26 00:24
this app was amazing with a great interface. however, the latest update locks users out of the data on the phone and forces registration. i’ve just lost all my catalog (hundreds of creations that i never exported, years worth of data) because they want more marketing data and want to send me spam. i will not use this app again and will turn to other tools for my needs.

Horizontal mode on iPad?
by FunkTion29 on 2019/04/25 05:39
Always loved this app, and glad its being updated again. Would love to see a horizontal version though. I use my iPad Pro with the keyboard, which props it up and allows the use of both hands, but Figure’s vertical only mode requires removing the keyboard and then I have to hold it upright wasting 1 hand, or hunch over to use 2. I actually thought I was using the iPhone version, but they’re both vertical only I guess.

Play in background
by Bretwags on 2019/04/22 15:01
Love this app for teaching music! However, for the purpose of teaching, it would be nice if the app played in the background when using other apps. I have background audio turned on, but it isn’t doing this. Also, when I run it through garageband, it runs a feedback static loop instead of playing properly. Hope these two bugs can be addressed!
Audiobus problems
by WavyLayz on 2019/04/22 05:54
It turns out songs are crashing lately. If this doesnt work with Audiobus running Groovebox and Reason Compact then why bring it back. Support this please. Please, please. I want it to work. I have too much riding on my next song.

One star for forcing users to create account.
What’s up with the new login?
by AR nord on 2019/04/20 18:31
Can’t believe that you now require to login, many of us bought the app. Still for many years you put just few updates when the potential of this app is limitless. What about give us the option to: Save midi for each loop part Use the app inside a DAW like cubase Build a song pattern mode Export each part consists wav midi Make it plugin app for Mac or windows Please remove the login as it pointless, your marketing group can do much better with out it.
Great fun! Quick beats

Quick fun app with great controls. Wish there were in easier way to share with other Figure users.
Fantastic!
by Hipst3rMusic on 2019/04/19 03:03
As far as musical sketch pads go, Figure has no rival. I’ve been using this app for years, and even when I tried using other apps I always found myself coming back to this one. Cannot recommend enough. That said, I’d love to be able to pick and choose specific elements from multiple drum kits, like the kick from Code and the percussion from Old School. I also hope that there are other new features in the works too.
No access until logging in now? Why?
by upset_folder on 2019/04/19 02:38
Already bought and paid for this years ago, updated it and now there’s no access until an account is created. Entirely sh!tty behavior. No choice but to delete an app that’s been with me as long as I’ve had an iPad.

by MakeShftProtocol on 2019/04/18 22:31

Mandatory login for no reason

I paid for a stand-alone app without a login requirement. There is no reason to introduce one. This change has rendered the app not fit for purpose.
Can u add figure to take
by ghost skull on 2019/04/12 11:08
I would gladly if u can add figure to take so that way if someone to make music that’s a good beat have them transferred it to take so they can save through their save library and sing over it thank u for the response I would love to hear from you guys what’s your opinion on that
Could be so much more
by squintr on 2019/04/12 03:18
Glad this is back with Propellerhead. From my old Allihoopa review, but still applies: A lot of the sounds are great, but trying to write a real song in this is difficult, and even if you do come up with a good germ of an idea that you could potentially massage into a full song on a computer, good luck getting all the sounds from Figure onto the computer in any easy fashion. This app should have been more of a controller and instrument for Reason. What a relief! By far the funnest and easiest musical app; my favorite out of many great ones. A couple things would be good to see. The first is to fix background audio. It stops playing when I switch to another app, which makes it tough to play along using ableton link. It would also be very cool to see an expanded workflow including the ability to automate every editable parameter, including key changes, the slice wheels, and everything in the mixer. You could also allow for volume adjustment for the separate drum sounds, maybe even mix and match between different drum sets. A nice feature would be the ability to export .fig files for back up purposes. I have hundreds of loops that I can't remove from the phone and save as an editable file; if I could just export .fig, I could keep things tidy. Maybe alphabetical folders would be nice in the songs panel, so one could organize large numbers of songs more easily. Such an excellent app, back in its original hands.

Updated without researching because I trust propellerhead. Figure now requires an account. That was an act of bad faith, propeller head. I deleted it immediately. I am angry because now I don’t have the old app I can use, and you want me to hand my email info to a third-party. *Updated after developer response: you didn’t need my email before, you don’t need it now. I didn’t need an account before, why should I need one now? Your explanation only tells us that you want us to open accounts, it doesn’t give a reason why we should.

Great app with even greater potential
by Dan with the Plan on 2017/12/03 11:31
I have used this beat making app for years now, before and after Alihoopa came along. Figure has never disappointed me when it comes to sheer ease of composition. Ideas are easy to generate and if you know your scales and modes, you can have a lot of fun here. This DAW only allows for one kind of meter, so nothing beyond duple. No 3/4 or 6/8 which is a glaring omission. Other apps share this dissapointing limitation, but Propellerhead can do better. I love their onscreen controls. The ribbon-style synth control is great, with the root notes darker on the control surface. The drum sequencer is remarkable. My only want is for MIDI control as well. I could spend all my time using this app if only I could play their excellent sounds using my 88-key controller. I can do this with other apps like Groovebox and Gadget , which is why I am prone to using those more often than Figure. Of course, Figure is great on the train 🚃 where it may be difficult to use a midi controller. I just think it could be great for both home and mobile use. Thanks for reading!
Relieved!!!!

Glad it’s back in the right hands! Would love to see the new integration with Reason! I hope there is a way to transfer Thor patches into figure. I think that’s the engine Figure is based off of. That would be a game changer for me. Also a batch export function to get figure’s individual instrument wavs/aiffs and.... midi data (omg plz) quickly into Reason. Or hopefully you’re adding live midi out from figure into reason to control reason rack synths with figures wonderful sequencer. On a side note, it would be nice if the Reason compact app (not this app) could match the same scales and swing as figure songs. This is my one main gripe with RC.... that and the auto save. Dear heavenly synth father, please get rid of auto save in reason compact. Love you guys

/This comment was deleted. I repost it. And I will until it stays forever. Like it or not; this is unacceptable. I kept it in my notes, ready to be copypasted, this time. Have a good time, buddies./ The software cannot be used anymore without an account. Yesterday's update brings a useless login screen which prevents one to access the app without logging in. I will not make an account to use something that can be used without any account like it was before, neither with my email, nor with my phone number, nor with anything. This is unacceptable, especially considering that I paid twice for this, the first time on a former iTunes Store account when Figure was released. Hopefully, I still have the file of the previous version to revert to it with iTunes. I will not delete tis comment until this online account nonsense is removed or optional.
Great app, but needs this.
by Djouffyo on 2018/08/09 23:32
I would have given a 5 stars if the export capabilities of this app was up to date. I’ve been using the app for years now and although the Soundcloud feature was removed for whatever reason, I still don’t understand why the button still appears as an option. What I’d really like to see is an export of each individual channel (drum, bass, lead) into wherever. Otherwise, can we at least get the option of transferring our beats between iOS devices? I’m always inspired and use my phone to create, yet I have to go numerous steps to transfer Beats to iPad. Dev team, please, limitless creativity!🤷‍♂️
So glad it’s back

What a glorious day we live in! Propellerhead continues to deliver in their promise of giving us tools that inspire creativity, while reducing those moments of frustration caused when you lose a great idea because you couldn’t bring it into existence. Okay, stop reading reviews; just tap GET, create a Propellerhead account if you don’t have one (it’s a low hurdle and what’s the big deal- if your in the App Store your pleas for privacy fall on deaf ears, you leech) it put a smile on your face as you enjoy fulfilling your purpose in life: creative expression of your uniqueness. Otherwise, you validate Eminem’s rant about c
The easiest to use and most fun music app out there.

I love love love this app! When you’re needing some new tunes in your life, figure is the way to go. You can whip this app out and start making some tunes anytime, anywhere. I’ve made a bunch of sounds and produced a couple songs with the help of this app. I’ve also DJ’d a little bit at places using it. Figure is so simple and easy to use. The sounds to choose from all sound cool and the effects you are able to do to them is even more more fun. Always looking forward to new sounds to be added.
Theres a problem with the delay...
by Sirintey on 2017/12/31 01:12
Sometimes when i press the screen it wont sense my finger or while im in the middle of playing a tune with my fingers the sensory gives out and it will abruptly stop making sound even while im still pressing the screen... it halts for like 3 full seconds and then its fine, its really annoying... (sorry to bother you guys with more fixing right after the big update you guys just put out a week ago, the delay is just really getting on my nerves)
Good but could use improvements!
by D_P12 on 2018/07/16 20:43
I would give a 5 star review but I feel that the app is great and has lots of potential although, it gets boring at times because there’s nothing to spice it up like more loops and beats and different types of sounds. Like you should create more beat types for rappers and singers and make more hardcore type beats and presets as well. Then maybe if you listen to my advice I would rate you 5 stars. Just trying to improve the app for other people. Thanks!👤
It Figures... Reason finally prevailed

Hey Hanna & Co, we and a whole lot of others are super thrilled at the reemergence of Figure and sister apps under your ecosystem. Back to a clear path from hobbyist tool to the professional studio . We’re “Ernstly” looking forward to “Discover” what’s in store ;-). Just a new bug crept in ... what’s up now with the playback levels and Mute? Was there a change to the pump algorithm? Our files we have stored in the app pre-update aren’t playing right. Love, SONUTION Crew
UPDATE
by anickt on 2019/04/08 15:15
Glad to see Figure back. Logged in with Propellerheads account that I’ve had for years. No big deal. Certainly not worth having a stroke over! I always get great stuff out of Figure! As far as I'm concerned this comes very close to blowing iKaossilator out of the water. If it had a save and audio export function it would. Add those two things and the ability to update the sound palette and you've done it.
Finally, something free!
by Drum and Bum on 2019/04/08 20:29
Neat “little” monster app with lots of potential. You get a bunch of things to use and I have to explore all the sounds! Only flaw is that it’s over 100 megabytes and if you don’t have an account like me, you might not get to monster around with this. And the best part, no in-app purchases!!! Definitely a recommendation for Reason fans and monsters in general!
Super awesome app that throws you straight into creativity right away
by Floating Door on 2019/04/07 05:13
I really really enjoy this app. The only things things I would like to see added would be more fluid way of thumbing throw patches and also wish there was a 4th channel for another instrument. Possibly something that lets you choose either of three already existing instruments. Anyway, thanks for developing this app!

The Figure and her face is set up in such a way that you could have a good time and really feel different parameters of the sounds in the beads and tweak the volume’s really quickly to end up with the freaky funky fun song. I realize that last sentence was really long and probably should be taken out and shot.
Love this app but... Meaningful Updates?
by Decalex00 on 2018/05/26 10:18
Can you tell us what the improvements are?I used to love this app more than anything. But it seems Alihoopa is not interested at all in meaningfully updating it - only pushing their social aspect of the app which personally I have no interest in. I wish they’d focus on improving the actual app because it has tremendous potential. If they did that I’d be much more willing to try out the other stuff.
Bought this the week it came out.
by slicedawg on 2018/11/22 20:00
But i’ve always wanted the note name on the keys. I feel like that would be helpful and not so difficult? It’s one thing when I have the full 7 scale steps but when I move to fewer it takes a bit to figure out which notes remain!
Can u add figure to take
by ghost skull on 2019/04/12 11:08
I would gladly if u can add figure to take so that way if someone to make music that’s a good beat have them transferred it to take so they can save through their save library and sing over it thank u for the response I would love to hear from you guys what’s your opinion on that
Fun And Functional

This is my favorite (beat creation) App! I didn’t want to delete my original because it’s loaded with beats and photos for each that capture a moment in time. I’m so glad it’s being actively developed again. I find this so much more fun to play with than anything else in the App Store. Thank you! SM

Sometimes when I try to make a song, it glitches and the circle indicating my finger pressed the screen appears in recording mode, but it makes no sound. Has been getting worse. Also, there is no way that I know of to transfer your songs from an old device to a new one and there is no 3 beat per bar mode
Thanks propeller head
by Next//Page on 2019/04/06 10:08
This is one of the most unique and easiest way to make music. Add some beats, bass and melody and made yourself a new loop! There are various sounds and effects so easy to get inspired. May not be your next ableton but this may be a good way to start from scratch. Thanks propeller head for reviving a cool app :)
You can make really expressive stuff in this app, and if you could use this as an instrument in Reason it would really be great. Stop trying to write songs on your phones people.

by AudioFella on 2019/06/12 05:41
This is a great free app for music creativity. This is a must have. It keeps surprising you with how much you can do. I still haven’t fully figured out how to bounce this to Reason but it provides a good song base of ideas really quickly.

things have been smooth for the majority of the time ive had the app, though not too long ago ive noticed some beats have gone under some change with the leads. they sound harsher, more noisy - if i have the beat play, browse my others, play another, and then go back to the messed up one, it sounds fine again. but when i hit open or cancel, the lead gets all wonky. i also cannot hit record without the beat immediately going; i have been able to press play at my own leisure for a while, but am having difficulty with this too.
Super glad it’s back.
by sartorius denver on 2019/05/02 19:11

Played around with this little app for a few minutes and my initial impressions are positive. I use Reason 10, so I am interested in how these little sketches can be imported into the software. Interface is great..though a bit too big on an iPad pro which also forces portrait view (very awkward for a 12.9” display). To the guy who rated 1 star for requiring an account- I’ve never seen so much salt over a few bucks. Professional troll right there.

I don’t know why you would do that cause no one uses this allihoopa app. Plus you guys get my hopes up because you didn’t even take the SoundCloud button away. Pretty disappointed.

It would be nice to see that photo when sharing the audio file with friends.

by ___HG___ on 2019/06/29 22:22
This software cannot be used anymore without an account.

Thanks again!

by The Organist on 2019/05/27 23:33
The developer and programmers of Figure nailed it. This is truly created by people that understand music creation. Figure is the best implementation for compositional ease on a mobile device. Midi export would make this an essential tool for every musician.

Hours can go by in seemingly minutes but it is so much fun❣️ And the Allihoopa experience is, well, one of the very best experiences in my life❣️

by PettyEvil on 2019/04/28 21:13
This was a good app that didn’t require an account.

What’s up with the new login?
by AR nord on 2019/04/20 18:31
Can’t believe that you now require to login, many of us bought the app. Still for many years you put just few updates when the potential of this app is limitless. What about give us the option to: Save midi for each loop part Use the app inside a DAW like cubase Build a song pattern mode Export each part consists wav midi Make it plugin app for Mac or windows Please remove the login as it pointless, your marketing group can do much better with out it.

by Hipst3rMusic on 2019/04/19 03:03
As far as musical sketch pads go, Figure has no rival.
Why?

You can make really expressive stuff in this app, and if you could use this as an instrument in Reason it would really be great. Stop trying to write songs on your phones people.
Awesome!!!!!

So glad it’s back
by PC Sketcher on 2019/04/11 12:58
What a relief!
I’m done
by steveboy on 2019/04/11 02:55
Updated without researching because I trust propellerhead. Your explanation only tells us that you want us to open accounts, it doesn’t give a reason why we should.

by Dan with the Plan on 2017/12/03 11:31
I have used this beat making app for years now, before and after Alihoopa came along.

An account is now required since version 3.0

So glad it’s back
by PC Sketcher on 2019/04/11 12:58
What a relief!

The easiest to use and most fun music app out there.
by Garrydason on 2017/12/22 16:04
I love love love this app!
Thanks!👤
It Figures... Reason finally prevailed
by Dextyrio on 2019/04/10 13:31
Hey Hanna & Co, we and a whole lot of others are super thrilled at the reemergence of Figure and sister apps under your ecosystem.
I’m done
by steveboy on 2019/04/11 02:55
Updated without researching because I trust propellerhead.
Fun Interface
by Joe Solo Producer on 2018/07/07 14:09
The Figure and her face is set up in such a way that you could have a good time and really feel different parameters of the sounds in the beads and tweak the volume’s really quickly to end up with the freaky funky fun song.
Can u add figure to take
by ghost skull on 2019/04/12 11:08
I would gladly if u can add figure to take so that way if someone to make music that’s a good beat have them transferred it to take so they can save through their save library and sing over it thank u for the response I would love to hear from you guys what’s your opinion on that
Fun And Functional
by ReviewerOne on 2019/04/26 01:54
This is my favorite (beat creation) App! I didn’t want to delete my original because it’s loaded with beats and photos for each that capture a moment in time. I’m so glad it’s being actively developed again. I find this so much more fun to play with than anything else in the App Store. Thank you! SM
Great for passing time
by Z3BRA9 on 2018/10/27 10:08
I very much enjoy messing around with this application on my way to work everyday. Browsing the vast collection of music that others have created is also quite entertaining; it can be awe inspiring at times to see how much people are able to squeeze out of this app.
Hands down the best and easiest music app ever!
by Acidisgood on 2017/11/06 12:36
I love this app ,if you ever had a thought about making music this app is for you. I was able to show the 3 year old how to use app, it took her about 3 minutes to learn how to navigate this. Can’t say enough good things about, have fun make music
You can make really expressive stuff in this app, and if you could use this as an instrument in Reason it would really be great. Stop trying to write songs on your phones people.
Awesome and Solid
by AudioFella on 2019/06/12 05:41
This is a great free app for music creativity. This is a must have. It keeps surprising you with how much you can do. I still haven’t fully figured out how to bounce this to Reason but it provides a good song base of ideas really quickly.
Is an awesome sketch pad with one feature missing
by emrlabs on 2017/08/17 00:55
This app is great for making a quick idea come to life. It limits you to be more creative by keeping it simple. I just wish I could export the midi or data-to-midi directly to Reason. Please make this happen!
Broken?
by mskobayashi on 2018/06/22 06:32
A little bit of a long time user of this app, for some reason it now won’t save certain songs? I worked on a 75 bpm, 8 bar song for a while and it’s gone for no reason.
Amazing!
by rivellette on 2019/04/14 11:16
I’ve been working with Figure for years and I’ve learned so much! I have discovered many beats, music techniques, and tunes. I feel as if I’ve finally mastered Figure! I will always love making music on Figure and whoever invented it was a genius!
Wow, what a great app
by too coo on 2018/12/23 06:28
Honesty this is one of the coolest, most creative, and easy to use music making app I’ve seen- one of the best apps period. It’s a hit-making machine- you’ll feel like Max Martin with how many hits you’ll write. And you can trust me, I’m legitimate!
Figure is my favorite
by Figurative Guy on 2017/08/24 16:18
It's an amazing starter app for people like me who want to get into music and it already has all of the cool noises from other music machines like Abelton and the Octotrack and also a Synthesizer, and this is part of why I rate figure five stars.
recently deteriorated
by Hjfjhfvhvfjhjchjdchkdc on 2019/01/10 05:34
things have been smooth for the majority of the time ive had the app, though not too long ago ive noticed some beats have gone under some change with the leads. they sound harsher, more noisy - if i have the beat play, browse my others, play another, and then go back to the messed up one, it sounds fine again. but when i hit open or cancel, the lead gets all wonky. i also cannot hit record without the beat immediately going; i have been able to press play at my own leisure for a while, but am having difficulty with this too.
Super glad it’s back.
by sartorius denver on 2019/05/02 19:11
Killer app! Super intuitive and easy to play with. Can also go really into depth. I Would love to see a mute button in each drum track sound. Would vastly improve the live play.
Fun and inspirational
by I own the pc version on 2019/04/08 11:48
Played around with this little app for a few minutes and my initial impressions are positive.
Crushin’ Em
by The Organist on 2019/05/27 23:33
The developer and programmers of Figure nailed it. This is truly created by people that understand music creation. Figure is the best implementation for compositional ease on a mobile device. Midi export would make this an essential tool for every musician.
I love this app, please add more sound layers
by Astrosurf on 2018/11/17 18:06
I love this app, I use it a lot. I feel like the only thing this needs is the ability to layer multiple lead tracks over each other.
Works Great!!
by Hurvdawggy on 2019/04/15 21:51
This is a really fun ap to allow you to create music on your phone. I haven’t had the chance to put this on my computer yet, but I will today!!
Great app! Suggestions...
by Hoarsey on 2017/12/18 01:38
Could you add a longer recording time, so that we can make longer songs? And add new instruments, though the ones you have are amazing. Thanks

by CrispyDragon18 on 2017/09/03 21:48

Soundcloud
by DTSavage on 2017/09/30 18:24
Would be a great app if the delay on pressing the notes wasn’t there and way better if you guys didn’t take exporting to soundcloud away. I don’t know why you would do that cause no one uses this allihoopa app. Plus you guys get my hopes up because you didn’t even take the SoundCloud button away. Pretty disappointed.
