I like to park

Parking is fun. This app works
Easy Peasy
by Danimorin. on 2019/10/23 16:04
So easy to use this app. Love how it allows me to see how much time remaining on meter.
O P Parking
by Rusco11 on 2019/10/23 15:56
So, in the village of Oak Park this ap can save you bundles. For one, OP doesn’t allow overnight parking unless you get passes from the village hall or have the Passport ap. Also, the ap never overcharges, for instance when a pay-zoned parking area requires payment til 6, it’ll only let you pay until 6. It gets rid of confusion as regulations in this town are very confusing. It is convenient and when you run out of quarters, it’s vital!
Cheaters.
by *Sandy girl on 2019/10/23 14:43
I use this app in West Virginia and was charged for a meter in Florida just a few months ago. When I call to have my money returned, your employee give me another number to call, then another, ten wrong department. I can’t wait to rid myself of this headache. I would not use it if I didn’t have to park so far from the payment meter!
Scam
by carolm1801 on 2019/10/22 04:18
Used the app on my bf’s phone came back to the car and it had a boot on it!!!
Major frustration
by Battery sponge on 2019/10/21 05:08
Parked my car for an appointment. Had to deal with download and signup... mildly irritating but no big deal. Luckily I was a little early. The problem came when I needed to add more time... it stopped working while I was at my appointment. The error kept saying network error although my internet was fine. I tried several times and got the same error. Needless to say I had to leave my appointment and repark my car... very inconvenient
Reset for no reason
by Lowell Parking on 2019/10/18 15:24
I typically love this app but today it made me reset for no reason, couldn’t remember my pin and when you reset your pin it wipes out your payment options. I had minimal time and this was a huge inconvenience. I ended up paying at the kiosk. I heads up would of been nice. No when you have 5 minutes to pay and be somewhere.
Didn't work
by Lane O. on 2019/10/18 14:31
Trying to get started, it asks for my "four digit pin". My pin is not four digits. I can't get past that step!
Words too small to read
by JSRon on 2019/10/18 14:12
Words are too small to read. I cannot see the words to use this app with any amount of confidence. I do not like the changes made to this app. Used to be much easier to use.
Session times
by Little p#1 on 2019/10/18 14:11
Why can’t I pay for small incriments of time with the big update. I want to be able to pay for 10-25 minutes of parking. Not a full hour
Junk!!!
by FNIP4 on 2019/10/17 20:51
Yet another example of a company changing an app that worked perfectly fine. lets change the entire interface so one has to re-learn where all the buttons are. In addition what are these developers thinking, why cant we paste CC information in? i mean where do you think that information is coming from? its in another app on the mobile device. was late to an appointment, having to fiddle with the redesigned app to update a CC. what a dissappointment.
Switches payment type every day
by spspespy on 2019/10/16 12:52
I have 2 payment types on my app and one of them is a work account. This app changes to the wrong payment type every day and now and then I’ll pay with the wrong account. It’s an annoying step to change this when the app is laggy while downtown
Garbage
by 4826385 on 2019/10/15 22:05
This app used to be great. But apparently they had back-end issues with billing customers - and now their platform is constantly charging me for post-dated parking. Problem: they have charged my card WAY more than I have ever parked using the app. And their customer service is completely, utterly unresponsive.
One star for awful customer service alone
by getthisbabyouttame on 2019/10/15 20:14
I tried to reach them for six hours. I emailed twice and called at least eight times during office hours. There was no answer. They called me back for about 1/2 a ring, then hung up before I could even press “accept.” If it weren’t for this, I’d doubt they even have customer service. They could replace the entire customer service team with a single person who would bang their head repeatedly against a keyboard all day instead. I’m sure they’d have better results.
More expensive parking cost shown first
by LifeofBrian2 on 2019/10/15 12:31
While this app is convenient I dislike how it defaults to the more expensive overnight parking fee instead of cheaper daily
Passport app functionality
by durkint2 on 2019/10/12 15:02
Great idea - bad execution. I like the option for paying via the app instead of Cash. But on October 4th, and I got a ticket as the Credit did not move to the Village from my account. Also, your email receipt function does Not work. Although it says email sent successfully. I never get the email as a receipt. Also you need to offer more payment options than just card- please add Zelle as a payment option. Plus, I am still waiting to hear from you on your contact us page.
Doesn’t allow pasting card details
by DigiSage on 2019/10/12 01:31
This very poorly designed app will not let you paste your credit card details in from e.g. 1Password, unlike literally every other app in the App Store, including Parking Kitty, which is a million times better than this clunker.
License plate # needed to add extended time
by 28Ali on 2019/10/12 00:21
Did not know my license plate number was going to be needed to add extended time - will be receiving parking ticket because I didn’t know it by memory :(
Annoying
by steve12635 on 2019/10/10 18:06
Randomly adds hours to my parking fee. Customer service says to call the city.
Why no QR??
by Altrepublic on 2019/10/09 15:38
Great app and sure beats hunting for change to feed the meter, but why not put a QR code on the sticker to enter the zone and stall number? Seems like one of the actual great uses for QR.
Credit Card Entry
by TB Fox on 2019/10/07 15:55
The app should have the ability to copy and paste a credit card number. I use an app to store those numbers and the current parking app does not allow that functionality.
Drops payments
by buf grove parker on 2019/10/04 22:43
Drops payments submitted earlier. Must check every time you use it even after confirmation screen shows success.
No Apple Pay support? Difficult user experience
by Tony.T on 2019/10/03 13:16
Signing up as a as new user was super hard. First you have to endure an email address. Then check your email for a code. You cannot copy and paste the code into the app. You must type it manually. There’s no magic link to automatically open the app and enter the code. Then you must create a 4 digit PIN to protect your account. But if you Login to another device you must go through the same email code process and then re-enter your PIN. Why have a pin if you need to use email to verify your login? When checking out you cannot use Apple Pay and have to manually enter a credit card. Again you cannot copy and paste your 16-digit credit card number. You have to type in all 16 digits manually. It doesn’t support camera for scanning your credit card number and info. Once you enter a credit card and go back to the checkout screen it won’t let you checkout because you forgot to tap and select the credit card you just manually entered. Why didn’t the app automatically select the one and only credit card you just painstakingly entered? Another screen that could be improved is the zone and parking space entry screen. It’s not clear after you enter the zone that the app has accepted it and is now asking you to enter a zone. Consider adding a clear label to each entered number to indicate that it is a zone or space.
An App you can like
by MarcLWalker on 2019/10/02 19:53
Look, nobody WANTS to pay for parking. But this app is comically easy to use and very intuitive. Just add license plate info for your vehicles and a credit card info and boom, it works. No coins. No swiping a meter. No swiping a kiosk and returning to your car for a slip to put on your dash. It’s only fault is NOT yet having an Apple Watch app.
Great app - awful customer support
by thelinziest on 2019/10/01 19:23
App is great but I made a flub and paid using my plates, but actually had a rental that day. Tried for over a week to contact and see if they could redact the charge (since my car was in fact not parked in the area) and they’ve gone completely silent. Pretty disappointing - so my advice is not to make a flub or you will literally pay for it.
I still received a fine
by Rick G on 2019/10/01 13:13
I paid a parking meter fee through the App in Cambridge/Boston, Massachusetts, however, I still received a parking ticket. The app developer would not explain why this happened and was not willing to make any refund available. Even their “Connivence” Fee is non-refundable when you get a ticket. The level of assistance from the App Help desk was cursory and worthless. Be ready for the extra hassle of receiving parking tickets when using this app and then spending time calling the State Ticket office/court trying to get the ticket dismissed. It is a major waste of time.
No Customer Support Service!
by Christine S.. on 2019/09/30 15:44
I’ve been using this app problem free for around 6 months. I haven’t had any problems until a week ago. I tried paying for parking but received an error message that stated the payment did not go through. I added a different card and the same error message occurred. Later that day they charged me 26 times...that totaled to around $400!!! I tried contacting them through the app and website/email and received no response. Don’t download this app unless you are ok with taking chances on being charged multiple times with no available customer service support.
Badly Implemented, Scams You!
by Starman6 on 2019/09/27 05:54
Used this app to pay for parking in Asheville NC. Waited 5 minutes but meter wouldn’t register payment. Ended up swiping CC on meter. Then see I’ve also been charged by this app. Email to get refund and am told that not all meters register payment but I should just have faith it’s been applied. I was also told that this is stated in the FAQs. To get there, you have to first go to Support, then faqs, then General and finally scroll down to find this vital information! Why can’t this be up in bold print when you pay? And, No, I won’t get a refund either. Well, they can just keep the 3 bucks, they need it more than I do! I’m not going to risk getting a fine because the App is poorly implemented. Far easier to just delete it and use a credit card.
Does not work with Apple Pay
by Armypilot111 on 2019/09/26 17:04
Why would you have an app on the App Store that would not work with Apple Pay? Get with the times!!
Expiration Honk...where did it go?
by frogonaharley on 2019/09/24 20:46
I updated the app and it no longer sounds a horn when it’s close to expiration. I’ve checked my settings and all notifications are “on“ how can I get that honk back?
Frustrating!
by J&CK79 on 2019/09/18 14:22
You cannot reduce the amount of time or get a refund once a parking session has been submitted. Please contact the local parking operator for additional information.
Widget
by El Geevso on 2019/09/14 20:01
The app is great. Need to fix the widget part. Widget not showing up after I add it. iPhone XS Max iOS 12.4.1
DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!
by Aunthollo on 2019/09/13 21:52
You’re better off using quarters. Even when you enter a validation code you will be charged for parking and there is no way to get a refund. I have been given many phone numbers and email addresses to try to get this taken care of and NONE OF THEM WORK!!! This company takes your money and the money of those offering your validation codes and they are not helpful or responsive at all! They have been reported to the BBB. Zero stars!
Hello confusion
by Asgtjsnfnaidn on 2019/09/13 12:42
I used to use this app every day for my daily parking. The lot I used to park in had a nice daily rate that would last until midnight, which didn’t really matter because I was usually gone by 5; however, one evening I had a work event that lasted until 9. As I walked to my car I saw a ticket waving at me from my windshield. Apparently, the time expired at 6. I checked the app for the rules of the lot that said $6, which I paid, would last through midnight. I’ve tried contacting support several times, but received no response. I’d recommend saving the $0.35 convenience fee and walking to the terminal to pay instead of using this app.
New Version = Downgrade
by Fqtrvlr on 2019/09/12 12:16
Guys- you said the new version would be better, but unfortunately it’s not. Still 250 taps to park in a spot. No way to save favorites. The first time I used the new version I parked in a lot I’ve only been to that one time and now it’s the only one that comes up on the home screen under quick park. No way to change it or get rid of it. Whoever you paid to re-dev this app you should ask them for your money back. 🤢
Network
by TNT no more on 2019/09/06 11:49
After the lasers update, why must I turn on cellular to get a connection. WiFi was working before. It’s almost easier to pay with cash.
App DOES NOT work!!
by Demetrie707 on 2019/09/05 13:23
Literally every time I try to authorize a payment the app declines my card. And yes I have money in my account. I’ve went to customer service about this and they told me to delete the app, my card information, restart my phone and install the app again. I did exactly that and the “card declined” still exists. My profile is updated, I have my card information right. Can SOMEONE help me? If not then I just won’t use this service anymore.
This app is garbage
by Jason1138 on 2019/09/04 18:13
Waste of time and effort. Lincoln Ne, update your meters to use cards and quit charging convince fees to use this crap app.
Generally good but with an annoying time bug
by David02140 on 2019/08/31 21:53
The app works for me, mostly does what it says it will do, and is certainly easier than carrying around a lot of quarters. It does come with one annoying bug that the company is refusing to acknowledge: no matter how quickly you enter the information, you will never get the full amount of time on the timer. I understand their rationale for knocking off a few seconds (you pay from the time you start deciding how long to stay), although I don’t like it, but frequently, including twice in the last two days, I have been given a full minute less time than I paid for. Either that, or the timer has been incorrect. One way or another, there is a bug that I have been unable to convince the company exists.
Upgrade Fail
by NNnotacceoted on 2019/08/31 16:11
Following the interface change the app has become near useless. The verification code is not accepted nor is the pin accepted. It does work on occasion but if I was a first time user it would be deleted quickly. Hopefully this is remedied soon.
Payments don’t work anymore
by rt7085 on 2019/08/31 14:35
App seems to have gotten a New logo. So stuff changed. Completely different look. And now payment from CC cards do not go through. Extremely annoying. They fixed what was not broken to begin with. Terrible. Waiting for the fix now.....
Can’t login
by Simbono on 2019/08/31 12:56
It says both my phone number and email are invalid. I’ve had both for 15 years, so not is not true.
Great app but change logo back
by Mikeyy926 on 2019/08/29 03:21
I recently saw they updated the app and they changed the logo to just say passport. When I opened it up, it asked to confirm my email. I was really confused what this app was, since it used to say passport parking. I figured I maybe have downloaded a passport app to use for travel in the past, I almost deleted the app which would have been terrible cause I have credits on my account and sometimes I’m in a rush to park and pay.
Broken
by VegasHangover on 2019/08/27 12:07
Never had a problem with old app. Now I’m constantly getting a network error message. Repeatedly tapping continue eventually goes thru. Zone 731.
Love the app
by Suzieqzieee on 2019/08/24 12:36
I’ve been using this app for years and love the ease of use and ability to pay for parking anywhere instead of standing outside at a kiosk. Only complaint is with this last update all of my data was swiped clean. I had to start from scratch and renter my car and payment info. This was a nuisance so please keep that in mind with future updates.
Can’t extend parking “network error”
by Fahmies on 2019/08/23 00:26
New app is riddled with bugs. I can’t extend parking. Will have to contest ticket because app is broken.
Design trumps function
by BobR52 on 2019/08/19 23:48
I loves this app and used it often. Now new design is very buggy and has failed 2 out of 3 times to deliver on its function. Once could not complete payment (no “submit” option after selecting time. ) Once could not extend. (Extend button non functional). Take me back to your simple interface!!! Or at least make this one work. (I’m on iPhone XR)
Can’t start a new session if the current one lapses
by Copymannathan on 2019/08/19 23:05
I parked in a two hour parking spot, and bought one hours worth of parking through the app. The app used to notify me when I was getting close to expiration so I could extend it if needed, but that has stopped working so the session ended after only one hour. I tried to start a new session and was told I could not start a new session because of restrictions even though I could’ve parked there for almost another whole hour. It’s also pricey: tacks on an extra .50 cents for each session.
Double/triple charged
by Thaadius on 2019/08/19 10:37
Beware of network errors. I’ve been double, even triple charged for parking because of them. And paying a $0.20 convenience fee to park somewhere you can ONLY use this app to pay for parking isn’t convenient. Not being able to pay for a “parking session” before parking times is a kinda downer too. What if I forgot my phone? What if I’m an elderly person that doesn’t carry a smart phone?
Doesn’t work. I got a ticket. Not cool.
by Wowkid.. on 2019/08/17 15:55
I can’t set the time on the app and it makes the app not work.
Unimpressed
by Alphaolove on 2019/08/16 17:29
Have been using this for the past year and today I used it for the first time since the update. I was unable to get past the area where you pick your vehicle. I added my vehicle again then went in again and it still wouldn’t show up. I ended up having to go back outside and use my credit card in the machine instead. Very unimpressed with the new update.
Changes without notification!
by winehouseamy on 2019/08/15 18:33
I’ve been using the Passport app for a few years. The design changed I didn’t recognize it and deleted it. Reinstalled when I needed it, it forced me to fund $10 wallet instead of allowing me to pay as needed. This app is only good in one neighborhood in my city and it will take me months to use $10 in parking. So frustrating that it was not clearly communicated.
App update took away my funds
by b-diddy-247 on 2019/08/15 11:36
I just updated to the new version and now my funds that I had after topping up are gone. My card information is also missing and it is like my old account was deleted, yet I was able to log in the same. Tried reaching out to support and have gone 24 hours without a response now.
Not a fan
by DocZeller on 2019/08/14 18:05
Have had two pricey tickets based on using this system in Pasadena California. I pay at meter instead wherever possible
Convenient app
by Greenhouse76 on 2019/08/14 14:15
Very convenient app. The only real issue I have is that when I park in a 3 hour zone and start with less than 3 hours, it gets glitchy when I extend my time. It would also be nice if the app could tell me if I had a parking ticket, but I don’t know how difficult it would be to do that.
Redesign needs rethink
by Bootmad on 2019/08/14 13:41
Redesign is counterintuitive and confusing - in a hurry, had to resort to coins instead!
Very glitchy
by camulou on 2019/08/14 10:13
Time extensions can malfunction and app charges you for time past what had been authorized. Unresponsive customer service. If you don’t like being overcharged, it is worth it to walk to the kiosk and pay manually using cash or credit card.
Randomly stopped working. Customer support non-existent.
by AliciaVellante on 2019/08/13 21:23
I have to use this app for parking and today it randomly stopped accepting my credit card (that I have been using for every transaction). There is nothing wrong with my card and the info. is all correct. Customer service will not reply to my messages. Horrible and lazy service.
No apple pay support

11 day charge for a 2 hour max lot!
by M3randalynn on 2019/08/12 16:35
Ive used this app many times and in the same lot. And I was horrified to see that my card was charged $44.35 for what should have been $2/$3 two hour stay! Lot 3188 has always shown as a two hour max and flags you if you try more so what the heck happened this time?! I’ve used the chat to contact support and that was over a day ago. No answer. Sent a message through their contact us portal and have even sent a direct email. Crickets.
No more audible beeping
by ajstewart747 on 2019/08/10 18:20
Bummer. It was the beeping that was unmistakable parking warning. New app does not have it. Why not give a choice to people to use the beep or not. I can’t hear the text I’m busy places like I could with a beeping.
Slow
by Uwidinh on 2019/08/10 18:08
So slow. I have to delete this app for it to work each time. I hate it compared to the Minneapolis parking app
Fixed
by Mattyice5656 on 2019/08/10 17:49
Had issue with app in Saint Paul where the zone code would not work. They seem to have fixed it. 4 stars because it’s an easy app to use and is otherwise great. Minus a star for it taking a month so that I’d be able to use the app in Saint Paul
Simple
by .bw. on 2019/08/08 17:44
Easy to use and right next to work. Prices are great and you can’t beat the 18 hr parking.
Surcharges aren’t mentioned
by Mike from Seattle on 2019/08/07 17:17
Until you’ve installed the app, put in your personal and payment information, and are about to pay. Very underhanded, will never use this app again.
Would be better if you could pay in advance
by y6953485734986774654376547 on 2019/08/06 02:33
App is good but it would be nice if I could pay in advance rather than have to wait until exactly 8am when paid parking opens in order to pay. I usually park at 7:30am and then have to set an alarm for 8 so I can go on the app and pay. If I could pay for a whole day the day before that would be great.
High fees
by Troj1963 on 2019/08/03 16:11
I surely missed the fine print but 17% convenient fee !? That’s ridiculous. I’m deleting the app off the phone.

Horrible privacy policy
by Fox13579 on 2019/08/01 18:37
Anyone who takes time to read their privacy policy and the data the user is consenting for them to collect and share, should never be using this app. Deleted without creating an account.
Absolute garbage
by paullegrand on 2019/08/01 17:27

Terrible redesign
by inlincoln on 2019/07/30 19:38
The recent update (2019) is a HUGE step backwards from the previous version. The user interface is confusing and not intuitive at all, whereas the last version was very easy to use and understand. Please consider returning to the old UI design.
Why fix a wheel that is not broken?
by n2nutrition on 2019/07/29 19:08
OMG it’s terrible the new update. Easier my butt!!!! Before, to set time, easy easy. Numbers on a wheel. Easy to tap 1 hour 15 minutes. Now? It is a miniature teeny tiny slider scale that is IMPOSSIBLE to read it is so so so SMALL and you can’t choose your stay. Now, you have to have this finger dexterity to slide that teeeny tiny bar to get your time. I want 1 hour 15 minutes!!! I can get 1 hour 17 minutes really really really disappointed!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr🤬 And if this wasn’t enough for you, you have to tap to start a session (as opposed to what?), then tap to choose the z one, then tap, tap, tap, then find the teeny tiny green check mark and tap that, but you aren’t done tapping - no, that would be too EASY, you still have 3 more taps. In the old version, there were 3, zone, enter space, pay. And have I mentioned the size of everything in the app? How small teeny tiny ? Impossible to see in the bright light of a parking lot.
Works but annoying.
by jbt76 on 2019/07/28 17:07
No Apple Pay. 0% trust my cc is safe. Confusing signs in parking lot. Having to put on spot number is annoying. Why not use plate like other apps.
Awful redesign
by 🎾🏀🏈🏉⚽︎⚽🏐⚾️-er on 2019/07/28 15:04
Redesign wiped all account information! New credit card input form collapses and is unusable. Doesn’t integrate with 1Password or Safari Keychain. Can tell this app is build by a company with no competition that customers are forced to use in order to park in Breckenridge, CO. Just awful and lazy design.
Finally!!

Horrible redesign
by ceebee99 on 2019/07/25 23:10

You will get a citation...
by Attempted Energy Saver on 2019/07/24 11:58
I used the app once and paid for a full day of parking. I got a citation. It seems the app doesn’t work or the operator of the parking establishment doesn’t know how to use it. Here’s what you should expect. 1. Use the app. 2. Pay an upcharge for the convenience. 3. Get a citation immediately. 4. Spend your valuable time appealing said citation. 5. Say “that was convenient - for someone”.
Paid and was still ticketed!

I paid on the app for 4 hours worth of parking and still received a parking ticket! Even double checked the zone and all the necessary details...
Useless
by schoolp3 on 2019/07/22 18:31
Tried this app today in downtown San Jose California today, and it was horrible. First, it asked for my zone. There are no signs with zones on them here. The app I think I supposed to use GPS to find the zones you’re in. But it only gave one a couple blocks away. Not much though out into the designed of the UI or user experience. Maybe I’m comparing it to the one I used a lot in Seattle which was well marked and much more useful. Could be the city management’s considering Bay Area, ironically, has the worst managed cities in the USA anyway. Poor Dems... :)

by Big Ben 1985 on 2019/07/21 22:28
I got a ticket even tho I paid on the app. I now have to fight the ticket. This has happened to a ton of people, look it up. Just use quarters and don’t give this horrible app your information.
Update
by LStive on 2019/07/20 18:32
I love this App. However I don’t like the update (so far). I am sure it’s my lack of knowledge, but do not see the choose time option. I had to pay for 3 hours when all I needed was one. Frustrating when an update seems more difficult to use. Will think twice before I use this again.
Why no Apple Pay?
by NickofSpades on 2019/07/19 22:49
How on earth do they not have Apple Pay on this? I have serious doubts that this is a PCI compliant company, so I basically have to be ok with potentially losing my card to fraud just to pay for parking. What a shame.
New update doesn’t work

Especially helpful if you park in the same area repeatedly.
Ripoff

A 15 cent “convenience fee” on a 25 cent meter charge? Absurd.
App Doesn’t Let you Pay via License Plate
by mpg6376 on 2019/07/17 14:14
While the signs highlight paying vis the app (which I always prefer) it doesn’t state that you cannot pay by License Plate number, which you are able to do at the station. For a busy station like Beacon I do not recommend using the app if you need to pay by license plate number.
Scam for parking police
by hilmmmm on 2019/07/14 00:49
This app notifies cops and they lurk with their finger on the ticket printer. I got a ticket in the 5 seconds it took to add time to the meter. I’m using coins from now on. Delete this app.
Used to be good...
by Kandicimo on 2019/07/11 19:14
This app used to be good. I used it at least once every week or two to pay for parking in a big lot where the machines are far from where I park (and when I’m hauling my kid around, it’s nice not to have to go back and forth twice). But since the most recent update I get nothing but a network error when I try to pay! So annoying! This app is now completely useless for me.
New version adds complexity
by Mac-n-Apples on 2019/07/11 17:23
Old app worked and was simple to use. Appears developers tried to create a slick new interface complete with sliding scale for choosing your time. It’s awful. I’ve returned to carrying loose change in my car, only using app when absolutely necessary.
Stopped working after the latest update
by unsatisfied parker on 2019/07/11 12:00
The app stopped working after the last update. Every time attempt to use the is a “Network Error”, even with strong connection.
Simple and convenient
by Dspke36 on 2019/07/10 18:58
I do like being able to pay for parking from my phone and using prefilled vehicle information. Very handy and prevents having to track down a space number or put a ticket on my dash. I wish Apple Pay was supported though, I do not like having my credit card information stored on this app.
Latest update steals wallet balances
by Mike jello on 2019/07/10 17:43
The latest update of this app doesn’t use Facebook SSO so I had to start a new account meaning my old wallet balance is stuck in my old account which is inaccessible. So I guess you just were going to steal all those balances from your FB signon users? What’s the plan? As of now my money, though just a couple dollars is inaccessible to me and you didn’t migrate my payment or car info either so their is no way to manage my active credit card accounts with you either. I should file a complaint with the CFPB and the FTC. If you’re going to take users money you have to be way more responsible with updates and account continuity. Also, don’t lose features when you update!
Outdated
by shareef777 on 2019/07/10 12:11
No updates. Read the reviews. Needs modern updates like location awareness, Apple Pay support, CarPlay support. Also, would be nice if there wasn’t a 37% fee! That’s outrageously high. Developer response is always to email them, only to have the emails ignored. Sad part is that an email isn’t necessary in the first place! Read the actual review people put instead of putting up that canned response. Another issue, had to go to a different station today because of timing. Turns out I need to load a separate $20 wallet for each station. That’s ridiculous since I go to this station less then once a year! One wallet for the entire app is all that should be expected. The developers of this app truly have no clue! Edit: they got ONE item done, location awareness. No wait, I’m in IL and the app thinks I’m in Washington!
No Apple Pay

Harder to use than coins
by RoYoMi on 2019/07/10 01:08
I occasionally park where this app would be useful, and even then it’s usually just for lunch. I don’t need to remotely renew the meter. Therefore i’ve found it’s so much easier to use coins than to fiddle with the app, log in, type in the 6 or 7 digit meter number, and hope it activates the correct parking spot.
Dumped History!
by FaithisKey on 2019/07/10 00:16
I used this app for 4 years... then the update happened and it dumped every bit of data and history attached to the app! License Plates, payments, etc.. like I never existed.. ugggghhhh!
Payment mechanist is faulty
by Traingamer on 2019/07/09 13:09
This app works via pre-funded Wallets to pay for parking. This would be fine if it didn’t create a new one each time it hit zero and reload the old one. I now have three and there is no way on the app to close them or merge them that is intuitive. Their chat bot left me hanging when I asked this question hence this review. Unfortunately municipalities use them exclusively so no other option but they should have a responsibility to fix the app.
Convenient
by The Wiz of Oddz on 2019/02/20 17:09
I’m self-employed and going back to college at an older age. I travel for my business and have to frequently use public parking. Most of the places in the area I service use pay stations. My college also has pay stations but also offers the option to use this app to pay for the parking. I love the convenience of paying for my parking in the app: getting to pick the length of time, alerts for when you’re running close to the end of the meter, and also not having to get out of my car to find a pay station then return to my car to put the paid ticket in the window. I park, plug in my zone, pick my hours, and I’m off to class with no problems.
Unexplained Charges
by tdcavenagh on 2019/06/10 14:35
My last bank statement showed two charges from Passport for $74 and $86 dollars respectively. I have exchanged email with Passport over nearly two weeks and with two different customer service (I use that term guardedly) representatives. Neither can tell me anything about the charges other than that they are “probably” parking tickets, but that they cannot “locate the source of the charges in their system.” So, they’ve collected $160 dollars, cannot explain why or for whom they did so, and they have now simply said it isn’t their problem. I’ve had no tickets placed on the car I use Passport in conjunction with, I received no notice from any town that they ticketed the car, so the money has apparently vanished into the Passport bank account. Anyone thinking of using this app ought to ask him or herself what stops Passport from randomly and without any cause adding charges to accounts given this approach. And, if charges ever did result from a ticket, how a user would know they have been paid, when Passport cannot trace money they have collected, but about which they have no further information.
Definite scam app
by dan7362zie on 2018/10/17 11:27
I was in a Richmond VA parking lot yesterday and on every poll had a sign for this app so I figured if here it must be part of the lot. It was a pay yourself at kiosk lot. I downloaded the app and setup account. It didn’t give me a lot of options and I was told to pick a zone which only gave me a single option for a zone and I was told to give the parking spot number. I finalized and at that time i was told the zone I was in was for Nebraska. So I am in VA parking in a zone in NE. I then clocked a button with a head shearing a headset assuming g that would take me to customer service and to my surprise it took me to the page showing me what I paid. I clicked through the menu and with the exception of the faq everything took me to the total paid page. In FAQ section they have listed in response to someone’s question about cancelling and they respond with letting the time run out. This is lovely. They give no option to fix or stop this. How are they allowed to have an app like this that steals money. I’m disputing today with my CC
How this app can be improved
by cheese deluxe on 2018/07/23 15:53
• Change the session expiration sound to a more typical smartphone alert sound. We get it, it’s a parking app and the alert sounds like a car horn. It’s annoying. Even better, give us the ability to customize the alert sound to any of those available on our phones. • When the session expiration alert goes off (10-minutes before expiration) have both a Dismiss and a Snooze button. Sometimes we’re too busy when the first alert goes off to add time. It would be great to have a reminder occur at actual expiration, as well. • When the app knows that a parking area has a maximum time limit and that I’ve reached it, why still show me “Extend” button during my session – and at the end? It’s misleading. I think I can add more time but I can’t. Change that message “Max time reached” or something.
Warning: no Apple Pay or Apple wallet support because...reasons?
by FrenchPoliSci on 2019/05/03 14:15
In this day and age, if an app cannot use my Apple wallet or Apple Pay or charge me through iTunes, I argue that the app is extremely dated. After all, I can go to almost any store or restaurant and pay using Apple Pay, all my apps that don’t charge through iTunes charge through Apple Pay, in short, you can use the Apple Pay platform most places. Thus, when an app doesn’t access my wallet or use Apple Pay, it appears dated and stuck in the past. Much of the convenience of the app (install and quickly pay) is negated by this over sight. This is one such app. Considering I ran out the door without my credit card and needed to catch a train, it was far less than convenient and, in my opinion, an app whose purpose (convenience to the consumer in order to increase compliance) is negated.
App to scam $
by tbtstr on 2018/08/27 23:10
This app is designed to scam customers for the first time use, at least. Why would it default to a 8 hours Max to scam $25? Why can't it leave it as 0 hour and force users to select the hours? What is the purpose of having the "Max 8 hours" button twice as big compare to "Stay" button? And why "Stay"? Can it be like "Select Hours"? If it is not intended to scam and what is the purpose? I parked 1 hour and had to pay 8 hours. Even I called the service right at the parking spot and no refund and no justice served. The guy said that how the app worked. You booked you're death. I thought max is 8 hours so you start your time and end your time and pay the duration when your done, just like you regularly park anywhere. I'm an app developer guy and got trapped, think about old folks with no tech skills. Change your app with my free consultation. May others forgive your sin???!!! It is not the $25, it is the feeling of being scammed.
My first and last time using this app
by Reichuber on 2019/04/30 00:10
A brutal digital experience. A few suggestions for the devs: (1) When a session is about to expire, give me the number of my last parking space and ask if I would like to extend my time in the current space instead of asking me to start over and remember the space number. (2) If I want to pay for someone’s parking after I have have paid for my own spot, don’t give me an alert that says “Invalid Number” when it’s not an invalid number, just tell me I can’t open a new session once I’ve started my first session, or let people open more than one session since you provide the option to do so. (3) Allow the users device to use geo location instead of force them to walk down the block searching for a sign that may or may not contain the arbitrary zone number assigned to the area the parking spot is located, you’ll likely have way fewer customer complaints and more completed sessions.
Very Misleading APP
by GrandmaHFMP on 2019/03/27 14:48
What this APP does for you is not much! You will find in the fine print of the Terms & Conditions a statement that says it does not reserve you a parking spot. No where else does it say that. It doesn’t find you parking! You have to know where the parking zones are. So what you get is a way to pay and a notice if your time is running out. Both can be easily done without this APP. Your phone has an alarm that you can set to notify you your time is running out. And there is a parking kiosk that you can pay at without having to put money in a meter! The developer should make it clear that you are not guaranteed a parking spot until you get there and find it yourself!! There should be a FAQ for this as well. I’m sure I was not the first person who wanted an answer to this question. They should make it clear that if you need a refund, you can’t get it through the APP!!!!! This APP is a waste of time and effort!!
New interface
by Long Stay Fan on 2019/06/17 14:54
I love the Passport app, but much prefer the older interface, because using it for stays of more than a few hours (either when establishing a session or reviewing when the session expires) is not a simple matter. The new interface seems better suiting for parking in a city for a few hours than parking in a train station parking lot for several days or a week. I would prefer to select the number of days, not push a ruler until I get at a cost that corresponds to an estimated number of days. Is there an option to make the interface “less intuitive”?
IMPORTANT!!
by AlexB3103 on 2019/06/11 14:22
I got this app two months ago. Used it for a two dollar parking and then never used it again. Two weeks later I found two separate charges of 27.7$/each on my Bank of America account(this is the one that I linked to the app) under the Passport Parking app name. I disputed each of them and got my money back. Afterwards I changed the primary account to a Citi Bank card. Today I went over the statement and I found yet another two charges of the same amount + a third one of 67$ finalized on 4th of June. I mention that I never used the app again since the initial issues. Now, I suggest developers to look into this as soon as possible and EVERYONE that already uses it to check their bank statements from the time they first got the app. The charges that show up on the bank statements aren’t listed in the app under the “Parker History”
Still not fixed!
by PhantomPhan on 2019/02/23 18:48
It’s been months and months of bad reviews telling you that the app just freezes on opening and requires being deleted and reinstalled to work every single time! You’ve done nothing to fix it! It’s less work to pay at the machine! It’s really inexcusable that it’s still doing this. I had an iPhone 6S and just got a brand new iPhone X and it’s the same thing on both. My brother is an app developer working for a large national company and he would lose his job if he ever put out such a shabby product without a fix for many months. Update: THEY STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN OFF THEIR LAZY BUTTS TO FIX THE APP. CONTACT YOUR CITY AND ASK THEM TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO HANDLE THEIR METERS. OTHER COMPANIES DO A BETTER JOB. Update: No change at all despite knowing of the issues for over a year. I still have to delete and reinstall the app every time I use it unless I’ve used it very recently.
Has personally costs me over 50$ in fines by not working this week alone.
by Joejoeshabadu on 2018/06/14 15:33
I have a brand new iPhone 8 and this app has not been able to load once within the last month. I have tried all possibly fixes on my end (restarting my phone, making sure the app is up to date) and it still just won’t load.I will always use change if necessary from the constant spotty issues it has. When forced to park in an app only parking spot I basically have to park knowing I’ll accrue a fine. I’ve waited around to mention it to a meter maid and they seem to just say “yea lots of people are having problems with it.” But if you’re not there to tell them your problem you’ll just receive a ticket. If I’m being forced to use this stupid app please at least fix it to make sure it’s doing it’s only job because currently it doesn’t.
So Convenient!
by Myriah M on 2018/11/14 16:38
Passport parking has been so convenient for 3 reasons. First one: when I’m running late, I can just park and pay as soon as I sit down in class or for work. Second: it’s been snowing in Denver and it’s nice that I don’t have to stand outside waiting at the pay station, especially if there is a line! Third: it’s safer for me. I get to school and work when it’s still dark out (6:30/7am) and nobody is around. I like that I don’t have to scramble for cash or for my card in the dark, alone. I do pay $0.30 more for using the app, but you really cannot put a price on convenience, warmth and safety! 😁
Totally Recommend!
by T-Colbs on 2018/08/07 19:08
This app is very handy for those who live/work in a city; especially one that has a strict parking policy. Being able to replenish your parking time from your mobile device changes the game, and gives you more control. Weather you are stuck at work, or on a date, or just want to sleep in an extra hour ( if that’s even possible for us busy folk) then this app is right for you. There is a small convenience fee for each transaction, however, this a small price to pay for the alternative of getting soaked in the rain. Happy parking.
Stole my $ and blamed it on me
by Mr.Phil_B on 2018/03/31 13:23
I paid for a parking session using this app. After my session was going I checked the app and realized my session didn’t appear to be active. I tried to re-pay for the parking spot but received a pop up about a lockout period for that particular spot. So I had to rush out of the building I was in and move my car. Later, I received an invoice for the spot so I contacted passport support for a refund. They told me it was my fault and that I shouldn’t have tried to pay for the spot twice. How was I supposed to know this when your app is telling me different? Then, the number they gave me to call for a refund was not a working number... Thanks to this app for ruining my morning the other day, blaming it on me, stealing my money, and wasting my time having me call out of service numbers. Get you act together passport!
I’m in Michigan. It parked me in Rhode Island.
by Cheshire348 on 2018/11/07 19:56
The part where it asked me for my zone, then my parking space was confusing and not clear enough at all. I’m in UX—this app does a bad job with clarity and keeping the user informed via feedback to their actions. I had no idea I was paying for a spot in Rhode Island until it was done. When I went to the icon with the headset in the upper right corner, I assumed, rightly so, that it would take me to Help or Contact. It merely let me know I’d paid. What? That makes no sense. I checked the sidebar, the same icon was there. I clicked it. It took me to a page with 2 options: an FAQ, and sending a bug report. The FAQ said to contact support for wrong parking spaces. There was no indication where this support was. I scoured the app—no phone number, no email, no chat support, nothing. No way to talk to a human. I ended up sending a bug report, which is ridiculous. I’m now paying for a spot in Providence, Rhode Island, which, by the way, auto-set the duration for me, so I didn’t even get a screen asking me how long I’d like to park. Just: would you like to park? Yes? Okay the time has been set and you’ve already paid now. Thanks.
Works great for cops and parkers! :-/
by gatherswool on 2019/01/26 14:53
See review by Korupted. Pros: better than fishing for quarters, plus it’s a nice stable app. No technical complaints. Cons: nice convenient way for the local constabulary to monitor parking and jump on the meter 1min after your time is up. Be aware that a lot of meters/spaces are also monitored remotely so they DO know that the car hasn’t moved from the spot—without so much as getting out of the meter maid mobile. Big brother monitoring of parking may be an overall civic good, but parkers should be aware that using this app means being rigorously on top of your meter time.
Still got parking ticket
by Biznasty2015 on 2019/02/24 04:31
I paid for my parking via this app and still received a parking ticket during my paid time. I entered all info correctly and paid he parking appropriately. It was a regular space with no restrictions. Now I have an outstanding parking ticket that neither this app nor the city care to rectify even though I have proof of valid payment at the time of the citation. So now I have to go through the lengthy process of contesting it with the city. The app is no help in this regard and does not give you an option to report such matters. In the fine print it also tells you it is not responsible for any tickets you receive even if the app is functioning properly and says you paid LOL. Maybe don’t release this app unless you’ve actually worked the system out with parking enforcement beforehand?
Dated and badly in need to updating
by Angry Elf123 on 2018/02/20 01:18
The app is showing its age. While once upon a time it was acceptable not to build-in location awareness, CarPlay functionality, or even calendar based reminders for folks who have commuter schedules the lack of these things are more painfully evident everytime it costs me money with a missed parking fee, slows me down fumbling with my phone when my CarPlay vehicle should have the app, or I have to dig out the snow from physical signage to determine zone that GPS would know... No doubt the sales team that got municipalities to adopt this app does not worry too much that a competitor with a better app will displace them but maybe the developers should just make the improvements out of pride or a desire to leave for greener pastures on a high note...
Works as expected with no issues
by Longtimeplayerofsims on 2018/03/02 13:25
That says it all. It does what it’s supposed to do, and I haven’t had any issues. It even lets you put in multiple cars and cards and saves the information as well as the lots you park in (up to 3), so if you don’t always park in the same one it’s convenient. I frequently park then forget to pay while I’m with my car so like, 5 minutes later I remember but of course I’m not by the lot or my car so it’s nice to have that info already saved in the app.
Latest Updates
by LED$mbv on 2019/06/20 23:16
Overall the app has been convenient and presents no issues. I do have the following three comments: Like other users, it would be helpful if I could put in time against a meter spot at least 1/2 hour earlier then when meters start. For example, my gym opens at 7:30 am, yet meter starts at 8:00 am. I realize I can do it remotely, however it is not always convenient having to remember to pull phone out wherever I am at 8:00 am to put in time, location and payment. Secondly, I am not a huge fan of the intuitive upgrade? It seems more complicated and I preferred the simplicity of scrolling and picking the time needed. Lastly, Light Grey font on a White background is very hard to see when out in the daylight, especially on a sunny day. I have to shade the phone in order to see the screen; with the new update. Please provide better contrast in fonts and backgrounds. The version before this latest update was easier to read.
Option to cancel/end session early
by yzombie23 on 2019/04/18 18:09
There was a recent update in which they removed the option to end a parking session early. The faq now claims that “there is no reason to end a session,” but there is. What if I need to park but don’t know how long I will need, and I won’t have access to my phone to “extend” the parking period. This option was really important to me, and it’s just a scummy move, since I now have to pay more for each session since I have to give an estimate of how long I will be there, which is always slightly more than I need so that I don’t get ticketed. The app itself isn’t that great, it’s often slow and sometimes freezes, but it was bearable. Without the option to end sessions early I’m debating whether I will continue using this app at all.
Poor App, Poorer Support (TL;DR included)
by xXganjafagitXx on 2019/06/13 04:11
This poorly worded app tells ask you “Spaces:” which I took as purchasing multiple spaces, to which I selected 1. Come to find out it correlates to the number, which makes sense. Simple misunderstanding, I go to cancel/request a refund... but you can’t. Go to the FAQ, it will tell you to use the “Contact Us” option to submit a ticket. I make one explaining the situation. I wait 5+ hours stating they can’t do anything, contrary to their own Support documentation and tell me to reach out to the operator. Nice, you want me to ask for a refund 5 hours after purchasing a parking spot? Pretty smart stuff there. TL;DR, the added fees to use the app, poor support, poor documentation, and poor UI are enough reasons for me to wait in line for a kiosk for 5 minutes.
App freezes - doesn't work
by jenelfarrell on 2017/10/23 18:51
I followed other user’s instructions, deleted the app and reloaded after the version upgrade and it’s worked fine since. It’s a little clickie in the payment area and too easy to click the all-day default option, but otherwise a good app. Thanks for the fixes. ———————- This app worked once, just after I downloaded it the first time, but has not worked since. When I try to open it, it freezes and never opens. I've tried closing the app, rebooting my phone, deleting the app & re-downloading, but to no avail. It freezes as it's opening and has to be closed just to get it to go away. I always end up paying at the meter. I've had the same experience with the app dozens of times and am taking my complaints to the City of St Paul and recommending they switch to the app Minneapolis uses, Parkmobile, as it's much more reliable. I've success used Parkmobile hundreds of times with no issue.
Really convenient
by Anon runner on 2019/02/02 13:04
But two caveats: make sure to type in your license number correctly! Even one digit off will make a ticket happen ... Also, it would be nice if the app would let you start charging the meter a few minutes ahead of time in the mornings. For example, if the meter hours don’t start until 8:00 am, allow users to do the transaction at 7:45 am . The local meters do this by quarters but not by app. Yes you can fill it by remote, but you can always forget.
Space number?
by Coveredwithcatfur on 2019/06/29 18:10
You can’t find the parking space number unless you email yourself a receipt after your session ends. So if you can’t remember where you parked - which happens to me sometimes because I park at meters A LOT - you’re screwed! Also, if you accidentally don’t extend and it runs out, you won’t know your space number to start a new session. How stupid is that?! I also think the scrolling $ charge is harder to use. It would be easier to just tap 15 minute intervals. Also, a “snooze” option would be nice when you get the notification that you’re running out. Sometimes I’m in a meeting and don’t want to stop to extend. Just give me a couple minutes!
PATHETIC SCAM
by AlexiaVendeza on 2017/11/30 15:30
Since I’m in college, I got the bundle to save money for parking. For some reason, they still charge extra for using their app. In reality, you pay waaay more for parking if you use this joke of an app. I tried to pay for parking through this today, and it suddenly wouldn’t work! Kept telling me it’s my “network connectivity” when I had full bars for wifi and strong LTE. Tried to delete and install again, also tried online. Both ways were unaccessible!!!! So I had to run a couple miles back to where I parked, and because of this stupid app, I got fined!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I’m out $20! Customer service is pathetic and nonexistent. This company is a scam. Don’t pay through them if ya’ll care about saving your hard earned money!
So handy!

This app has made it much easier to pay for parking then trying to walk to the kiosks all the time. I wish there was a way it would alert you if paying for parking was unnecessary though, so that you don’t spend $2 just to later find out it was a free day, or parking doesn’t cost after a certain time of day or in certain off seasons (I.e. summer). That would definitely be a great improvement to the app but otherwise I love it.
Broken app icon badge and account login!!!
by JHoffmann117 on 2019/06/19 12:30
Ever since the last update, this app icon has been stuck with an angry red badge “1”. I’ve searched through every section of the app to find whatever notification is apparently pending, but there’s nothing in there. I even tried removing the app from my phone entirely and then reinstalling. Same issue. But now it’s even worse because I lost my parking history. I guess the account login feature is also broken because it seems as if it created a new account even though I used my same email address. I like the new UI as it looks much cleaner. But none of that matters if the underlying app is broken. Will be waiting until the next update fixes this!
App Opens Less Than 10% of the Time (Fixed)
by Payvideo on 2018/06/14 23:43
EDIT: the problem seems to have since been resolved. The app never launches when I most need it to. Have tried to use it to pay for parking ever since my town introduced it weeks ago. Have only successfully used it once since it has been introduced. From other reviews here it seems to be an issue with the app, not with your device. Faulty and unreliable until it’s fixed, which I’m surprised hasn’t happened yet. That’s some bad dev work, sadly.
Passport beats ParkMobile
by grateful NY commuter on 2018/12/26 15:01
I used ParkMobile at my local train station and I’m so glad Laz Parking switched to Passport. When I jumped on the train and passed poor data connections I would have to call ParkMobile several times because their phone app was drop and very long and simply not commuter user friendly designed for the busy person. By the time you entered all the yes and nos , your call would be dropped at least three times. If you were lucky not to get a ticket , before you were able to properly enter all their questions . Bi have to think the municipalities that keep ParkMobile as their approved parking app, like croton harmon , New York , is because they want your call to drop so they can give s nice hefty parking ticket! Passport on the hand is 1,2,3 done! Get it , it’s convenient and fast! Thank you Passport! Grateful commuter
Quick and easy
by Meowptmeow on 2019/01/30 18:21
Definitely love being able to jump out and not worry about having spare change in for a meter! It’s nice where it saves your info also. I have a free lot I park in so I was running late and said screw it and parked a few roads down to get to work on time. I’ve been about 5 mins late on my meter and I’m curious to see if I will have a ticket since I had to renew late. You’ll see if my response changes when work is over.
Rip off
by GadjitMonger on 2019/05/14 12:02
How does this app get a 4.6 rating? Most of the recent reviews are terrible. Parking apps are the biggest scam of the cellphone age. Used to be I would welcome having an app to manage a mundane process such as paying for parking, but now, every time you park somewhere, instead of dropping a few quarters into the meter, you have to download an app, put in all your personal info including license plate and credit card then get charged a .$50 “convenience” fee to cover a $2 parking charge. And lest you think you’ll take your chances on just letting it ride, it seems they spend most of the profit on large threatening signs with warnings about your car being towed and impounded. These companies are parasites.
Easy But Change Alert Options
by PHENICUS on 2019/04/26 14:42
The setup and daily use of this app are great. The only thing that needs changed is the alert sound. The horn seems like a cute idea but it is annoying and potentially dangerous. Twice I have been in traffic when the horn alert went off making me believe there was a hazard in traffic. Please make it so you can keep your horn sound or choose an alert of the user’s choice. Thanks
Horrible App
by Sweets504 on 2018/12/08 10:56
This app notify you 2 minutes before expiration which doesn’t give you enough time to renew parking if an extension is needed. The minute your parking expire the boot company is there to place a $75 boot on your vehicle. The app doesn’t function like the ParkMobile app which alerts you until you acknowledge your parking is expiring. The Passport Parking app alerts you 2 minutes prior to expiration with a vibrate once so if missed the app will not alert you again. My suggestion to anyone parking with this app is to set your own alarm for 10 minutes prior to alert you when your parking is expiring to prevent fees. Your alarm will keep alerting until you acknowledge it unlike Passport Parking.
Good, could be better
by Kristina53 on 2018/01/29 19:56
Good app, well designed, could use more clear instructions when setting up. Also needs to have an option to select how far in advance you want a reminder about expired parking, and that reminder needs to have vibration and sound options - and not just when the app is open. Also would be good to know how long you are locked out of a parking zone (a ridiculous restriction, IMO, but I’m guessing that’s a city thing not an app thing. Space #’s would be good too, but I’m guessing that’s also a city thing, not an app issue).
Best App Ever
by thehives695 on 2019/06/11 19:01
Passport is the most convenient and useful app I’ve ever downloaded. Paying for parking is unbelievably easy and takes less than 30 seconds. I’ll never get a parking ticket again!!! I absolutely hate spending time at the slow, annoying meters and passport takes all of that away. It’s easy, beyond helpful and to top it off- affordable. If you pay for parking and aren’t using passport, you’re not living your best life.
Processing fee
by Nessandra on 2018/01/24 14:15
Used app a couple of times, works fine, has a handy feature so that you are notified when your time at the meter is almost up. I am annoyed at the $0.30 convenience fee because there’s no way of knowing about it before using the app for the first time. The stickers on the meters directing customers to the app have no indication of this being the case. Not faulting the company for having a service fee, faulting the company for being sly about having a service fee.
Helpful App
by Cariwojo on 2019/06/13 11:15
I often forget to carry coin. I rarely even carry cash. This app has made it so much easier to park for work. I love that it allows you to pre-pay before metering starts and that doesn’t count as paid time, something putting coins in doesn’t allow you to do. I was surprised to see people had trouble with this app because I’ve been using it for a year and have not had any issues yet.
Simple and worked great!
by GeoNeoFletchin on 2017/10/16 18:32
I pulled into visitor parking lot at University of Michigan and found out it was a paid lot. Had no change and the app was quick to download and easy to use. Could add time if needed without going back to car, so didn't need to overspend for parking just to make sure I wouldn't get a ticket because I couldn't just run back to put more time on the meter. Worked great and just as designed. Very simple!!
Easy but some flaws
by Caitycatcat66 on 2017/12/30 16:29
I love the ease of this app but there’s been a couple times where not all of the payment options are available on the app that are available for the lot. An example is today I wanted to use it but ended up going to the machine because there were only 2 payment options available on the app (both were over $20) when there are hourly options and weekend options at the machine. Weekend is only $5. If all the options showed up on the app it would definitely be 5 stars!
Simple App, but meters are hit or miss
by MsLazertron on 2019/04/17 22:56
The App is straight forward and the parking system is much better than coins or credit card machines. The only issue I’ve come across is that the meters are not marked consistently- some have numbers that are written in marker that’s wearing off and others have the number sticker scratched off or damaged. Need a better implementation system on the ground that’s more permanent OR a way to find the correct space via the App. Still pretty great, tho.
Extra charges
by pete saa on 2019/06/18 13:11
The app is a great idea, the developers need to work out the bugs tho.i payed with the meter then downloaded the app, entered my card information then charged me twice.i wanted to give it another chance the following week and I wanted to pay for the spot for 4 hours, it only let me pay for 3 then I picked a new session to add hours and it charged me the max time,so I had two different sessions going on at the same time!! I wrote numerous text to the contact/help center and no response! So I had to cancel charges with my credit card company. The developer of this app needs to prevent getting double charges for the same parking spot...
Terrible App -
by Kswizzle on 2018/02/02 00:34
App looks extremely outdated. The UI needs extensive work. The UX is almost based off a responsive website rather than a native app. The search parking aspect doesn’t auto populate suggestions. I had to search a location only to it not move the map at all however when I clicked search then my suggested locations populated. The interface is clunky. I travel a lot and love the ease of mobile payments but must say this is one of the worse ones. Also when signing up the “easy” way via Facebook it was anything but easy. App froze and crashed a few times before it would create a profile.
Decent but needs tweaks
by CaliDucki on 2018/02/27 13:49
Save users clicks and decisions. I want to save my parking space number and confirm payment, that’s it. Use last zone or GPS for closest zone, and have parking space on the first screen, that saves a decision/click. Have confirmation for payment be confirming the last or default payment and the no is to change it. I don’t need wallet or card as payment screen 1, then selecting payment as screen 2, then confirming payment screen 3. I’m trying to get to an appt or make a train and there are too many clicks. Thx
Waste of time
by TheDaltron on 2018/02/21 21:27
Update: This app is still garbage. It still doesn’t work!! Don’t waste your time! If your local government is considering a parking app warn them before your stuck with this junk!!! Just as other reviews have stated this app will only work the first time. Have tried multiple times to use the app the past two months to no avail. Had to use the passport website instead. I wish our municipal government had chosen a more reliable mobile platform. Update: still the worst app in the business. When will I and my municipality learn...Got a ticket with ACTIVE time left on the meter. Urge your government not to use!!!

Easy Peasy

Scam

Far easier to just delete it and use a credit card.

by frogonaharley on 2019/09/24 20:46

Frustrating!
by J&CK79 on 2019/09/18 14:22
You cannot reduce the amount of time or get a refund once a parking session has been submitted. Please contact the local parking operator for additional information.

Zero stars!

One way or another, there is a bug that I have been unable to convince the company exists.

by NNnotacceoted on 2019/08/31 16:11
Following the interface change the app has become near useless. The verification code is not accepted nor is the pin accepted. It does work on occasion but if I was a first time user it would be deleted quickly. Hopefully this is remedied soon.
Payments don’t work anymore
by rt7085 on 2019/08/31 14:35
App seems to have gotten a New logo. So stuff changed. Completely different look. And now payment from CC cards do not go through. Extremely annoying. They fixed what was not broken to begin with. Terrible. Waiting for the fix now.....
Can’t login
by Simbono on 2019/08/31 12:56

Paid and was still ticketed!
by toshadoll on 2019/07/23 22:51

Useless
by schoolp3 on 2019/07/22 18:31
Tried this app today in downtown San Jose California today, and it was horrible. :)

Update
by LStive on 2019/07/20 18:32
I love this App.

IMPORTANT!!
by AlexB3103 on 2019/06/11 14:22
I got this app two months ago.

So handy!
by Jadaforsting13 on 2019/06/24 23:53
This app has made it much easier to pay for parking then trying to walk to the kiosks all the time.
