Update: 2019 This app used to be great. The creators must have died or they totally forgot about it this is so bad now. All the features are there and it makes a beautiful cover photo but it will no longer save to photos, Facebook or email. So basically useless. I even paid to upgrade to pro. Deserves less than 1 star.

2016: I’ve been using this for my personal and business Facebook covers for over 6 years. It's great knowing exactly what the background will look like before you upload and that your profile photo won't cover any critical parts. Could use a current update but that doesn't subtract from the face that this is a very useful app. Wish they also made an app for Linkedin banners.

Took forever to adjust text on photo bc it disappears when resizing & if u forget to change anything ((font, color etc)) u cant go back, u must delete & do over....after all that nonsense, i couldnt even use it bc it was appearing way too big to fit in the cropping space facebook provides. Such a waste of time & money - very disappointed....

I don't usually review items that are workable, but I do speak up when things are bunk. I created a couple of banners. Posted them to FB. Had to go to FB to change my photo. Text does not fit in the same place as the templet. For a paid app, this is not a good thing. Save your money on this one. There are better options.

Thought this was a great idea, but I soon found out that it crops my pics on the ends.
I also think that can ad stickers for holidays or predesigned holiday frames for people who have bought this app and have been disappointed & to be competitive.

Great concept, but needs a lot of work!
I even purchased the Pro!😖 Didn't know there was a free app.
I tried to save in my iPhone 5s camera roll & it chopped of the pic at the end.
I have several apps that creates long horizontal & vertical pix that I've used & it never chops of any of the pix created.
I tried the upload to FB........well this upload option took so long & at the end it never did upload to FB😩
Nice try guys, but can I get my $$ back?!

ERROR: This endpoint has been deprecated. To temporarily reenable it, you may disable the "august_2012" platform migration. It will be disabled permanently on August 1, 2012.
Either way... I've removed to Facebook app for this program and added it back and I still get this message! I have the pro version too! Would like this fixed. :-( not happy = 1 stars until fixed

There are roundabout ways to post to Facebook. But, why even have the option of uploading to FB if it doesn't work?!?! Isn't that kind of the point of the app?!? Of course, the Facebook app itself doesn't allow you to change cover photos anymore, so, I shouldn't really be surprised it doesn't do what it's supposed to. This currently is no better than any other framing app out there.

Since iPhones new Facebook update I'm no longer to change the cover photo from the app. You can do this from the mobile version however, when trying to upload to fb straight from the cover maker app, it doesn't work. Please fix then it'll be 4 stars again. Right now it's useless.

For the most part, this app is great; but recently, the cover photos I upload don't look sized evenly when viewing FB from my phone. It's fine on a desk/laptop, but...since its a phone app, shouldn't the cover photo look perfect from the phone too, instead of oversized??? Yes. It should.

I take a lot of photos with my iPhone, so this seemed like a perfect solution for making awesome FB covers. But like everyone says, it crashes frequently. Even more annoying are the random hang ups. I spent way too much time mashing my fingers on the screen to get the app to respond. Also, please update the profile picture size on the template - every photo on the left ends up in the wrong place since FB made profile images larger.

But the image quality of this app is terrible. The dev said the newest update improves image quality, but I see no difference between this version and the first version. Images are incredibly fuzzy and full of jpeg artifacts. not something I would use for my Facebook image (especially because I'm a pro photographer).
Also, it crashes a lot when using the text feature and sometimes just randomly.
Once this is fixed, I will re-review this app.

I thought it would be worth the try for $.99, but I was wrong. I tried a dozen times to work with it, and if I got the cover design set up, then when I tried to click "FINISH" it crashed. When I go back in to the program, the designs are gone.

Finally, a cover photo app! I had to previously use "Imikimi", & when I used the finished product for my cover photo, it was quite difficult to line it up, & there was a lot of white space.
It was buggy the first time I used it, giving me an error message that my photo couldn't be posted, but I just emailed it to myself and changed the cover photo on my computer.
My only recommendation would be that there be a dermarcation where the profile pic goes, so you make sure nothing important gets cut off.

Should be thankful for apps that keep their word. The effects, different layouts & ability to add text with subtle opacity makes this a major win. It was a little difficult to squeeze images within smaller frames (I got fat fingers) on the iPhone so I moved the party over to my iPad and had a rocking timeline cover under 5 mins! Thankyou!

I don't usually review items that are workable, but I do speak up when things are bunk. I created a couple of banners. Posted them to FB. Had to go to FB to change my photo. Text does not fit in the same place as the templet. For a paid app, this is not a good thing. Save your money on this one. There are better options.

Since iPhones new Facebook update I'm no longer to change the cover photo from the app. You can do this from the mobile version however, when trying to upload to fb straight from the cover maker app, it doesn't work. Please fix then it'll be 4 stars again. Right now it's useless.

I thought it would be worth the try for $.99, but I was wrong. I tried a dozen times to work with it, and if I got the cover design set up, then when I tried to click "FINISH" it crashed. When I go back in to the program, the designs are gone.

Great concept, but needs a lot of work!
I even purchased the Pro!😖 Didn't know there was a free app.
I tried to save in my iPhone 5s camera roll & it chopped of the pic at the end.
I have several apps that creates long horizontal & vertical pix that I've used & it never chops of any of the pix created.
I tried the upload to FB........well this upload option took so long & at the end it never did upload to FB😩

Update: 2019 This app used to be great. The creators must have died or they totally forgot about it this is so bad now. All the features are there and it makes a beautiful cover photo but it will no longer save to photos, Facebook or email. So basically useless. I even paid to upgrade to pro. Deserves less than 1 star.

2016: I’ve been using this for my personal and business Facebook covers for over 6 years. It's great knowing exactly what the background will look like before you upload and that your profile photo won't cover any critical parts. Could use a current update but that doesn't subtract from the face that this is a very useful app. Wish they also made an app for Linkedin banners.

Took forever to adjust text on photo bc it disappears when resizing & if u forget to change anything ((font, color etc)) u cant go back, u must delete & do over....after all that nonsense, i couldnt even use it bc it was appearing way too big to fit in the cropping space facebook provides. Such a waste of time & money - very disappointed....

Thought this was a great idea, but I soon found out that it crops my pics on the ends.
I also think that can ad stickers for holidays or predesigned holiday frames for people who have bought this app and have been disappointed & to be competitive.

ERROR: This endpoint has been deprecated. To temporarily reenable it, you may disable the "august_2012" platform migration. It will be disabled permanently on August 1, 2012.
Either way... I've removed to Facebook app for this program and added it back and I still get this message! I have the pro version too! Would like this fixed. :-( not happy = 1 stars until fixed

There are roundabout ways to post to Facebook. But, why even have the option of uploading to FB if it doesn't work?!?! Isn't that kind of the point of the app?!? Of course, the Facebook app itself doesn't allow you to change cover photos anymore, so, I shouldn't really be surprised it doesn't do what it's supposed to. This currently is no better than any other framing app out there.

Sizing issues

For the most part, this app is great; but recently, the cover photos I upload don't look sized evenly when viewing FB from my phone. It's fine on a desk/laptop, but...since its a phone app, shouldn't the cover photo look perfect from the phone too, instead of oversized??? Yes. It should.

I take a lot of photos with my iPhone, so this seemed like a perfect solution for making awesome FB covers. But like everyone says, it crashes frequently. Even more annoying are the random hang ups. I spent way too much time mashing my fingers on the screen to get the app to respond. Also, please update the profile picture size on the template - every photo on the left ends up in the wrong place since FB made profile images larger.

But the image quality of this app is terrible. The dev said the newest update improves image quality, but I see no difference between this version and the first version. Images are incredibly fuzzy and full of jpeg artifacts. not something I would use for my Facebook image (especially because I'm a pro photographer).
Also, it crashes a lot when using the text feature and sometimes just randomly.
Once this is fixed, I will re-review this app.

I thought it would be worth the try for $.99, but I was wrong. I tried a dozen times to work with it, and if I got the cover design set up, then when I tried to click "FINISH" it crashed. When I go back in to the program, the designs are gone.

Finally, a cover photo app! I had to previously use "Imikimi", & when I used the finished product for my cover photo, it was quite difficult to line it up, & there was a lot of white space.
It was buggy the first time I used it, giving me an error message that my photo couldn't be posted, but I just emailed it to myself and changed the cover photo on my computer.
My only recommendation would be that there be a dermarcation where the profile pic goes, so you make sure nothing important gets cut off.

Should be thankful for apps that keep their word. The effects, different layouts & ability to add text with subtle opacity makes this a major win. It was a little difficult to squeeze images within smaller frames (I got fat fingers) on the iPhone so I moved the party over to my iPad and had a rocking timeline cover under 5 mins! Thankyou!

But the image quality of this app is terrible. The dev said the newest update improves image quality, but I see no difference between this version and the first version. Images are incredibly fuzzy and full of jpeg artifacts. not something I would use for my Facebook image (especially because I'm a pro photographer).
Also, it crashes a lot when using the text feature and sometimes just randomly.
Once this is fixed, I will re-review this app.

Update: 2019 This app used to be great. The creators must have died or they totally forgot about it this is so bad now. All the features are there and it makes a beautiful cover photo but it will no longer save to photos, Facebook or email. So basically useless. I even paid to upgrade to pro. Deserves less than 1 star.

2016: I’ve been using this for my personal and business Facebook covers for over 6 years. It's great knowing exactly what the background will look like before you upload and that your profile photo won't cover any critical parts. Could use a current update but that doesn't subtract from the face that this is a very useful app. Wish they also made an app for Linkedin banners.

There are roundabout ways to post to Facebook. But, why even have the option of uploading to FB if it doesn't work?!?! Isn't that kind of the point of the app?!? Of course, the Facebook app itself doesn't allow you to change cover photos anymore, so, I shouldn't really be surprised it doesn't do what it's supposed to. This currently is no better than any other framing app out there.

Thought this was a great idea, but I soon found out that it crops my pics on the ends.
I also think that can ad stickers for holidays or predesigned holiday frames for people who have bought this app and have been disappointed & to be competitive.

Buggy, frustrating and nearly useless

I take a lot of photos with my iPhone, so this seemed like a perfect solution for making awesome FB covers. But like everyone says, it crashes frequently. Even more annoying are the random hang ups. I spent way too much time mashing my fingers on the screen to get the app to respond. Also, please update the profile picture size on the template - every photo on the left ends up in the wrong place since FB made profile images larger.

ERROR: This endpoint has been deprecated. To temporarily reenable it, you may disable the "august_2012" platform migration. It will be disabled permanently on August 1, 2012.
Either way... I've removed to Facebook app for this program and added it back and I still get this message! I have the pro version too! Would like this fixed. :-( not happy = 1 stars until fixed
Sizing issues

For the most part, this app is great; but recently, the cover photos I upload don't look sized evenly when viewing FB from my phone. It's fine on a desk/laptop, but...since its a phone app, shouldn't the cover photo look perfect from the phone too, instead of oversized??? Yes. It should.

I have a boutique and this app made it so easy to change our cover photo! I didn't even have to deal with photo shop! I LOVED this app and used to ALL the time UNTIL it crashed! Now I can't add any pictures! Please fix their are no apps like this one!!!!!

Took forever to adjust text on photo bc it disappears when resizing & if u forget to change anything ((font, color etc)) u cant go back, u must delete & do over....after all that nonsense, i couldnt even use it bc it was appearing way too big to fit in the cropping space facebook provides. Such a waste of time & money - very disappointed....

I don't usually review items that are workable, but I do speak up when things are bunk. I created a couple of banners. Posted them to FB. Had to go to FB to change my photo. Text does not fit in the same place as the templet. For a paid app, this is not a good thing. Save your money on this one. There are better options.

Since iPhones new Facebook update I'm no longer to change the cover photo from the app. You can do this from the mobile version however, when trying to upload to fb straight from the cover maker app, it doesn't work. Please fix then it'll be 4 stars again. Right now it's useless.

Great concept, but needs a lot of work!
I even purchased the Pro!😖 Didn't know there was a free app.
I tried to save in my iPhone 5s camera roll & it chopped of the pic at the end.
I have several apps that creates long horizontal & vertical pix that I've used & it never chops of any of the pix created.
I tried the upload to FB........well this upload option took so long & at the end it never did upload to FB😩
