Can't color the labels
by IamrobinB on 2019/11/17 22:41
I am trying to add different colors to the labels on the pro version but the screen won't let me. The reason I upgraded to pro was for the label colors
Terrible app. Was charged for nothing. Who would pay $60 for a calendar
by Roselindemann on 2019/11/17 20:18
Terrible app. I cancelled the subscription and was still charged $60. This is a useless app to me. I want my money back ASAP. I have no way of getting a hold of these people. 🙄 please contact me immediately
Doesn’t remind me
by Hailey@1234 on 2019/11/16 19:26
Have checked in all places on phone. This app is not reminding me of important things. I rely on it heavily. Can you HELP
No longer syncs with Alexa
by sbr517 on 2019/11/16 17:57
I’ve been using this app for a couple years. I accidentally deleted my grocery list and now cannot for the life of me get it to sync a new list. Even after updating BOTH apps, even though it says it is synced, when I actually ask Alexa to add something to the supposedly synced list, it doesn’t show up in Any.do. Please fix!!
Just add month view and I’ll give it 5 stars.
by oWoboros on 2019/11/09 06:29
I need a month view calendar, please.
The App Store makes it look like this app doesn’t have any in store purchases
by >':( $ on 2019/11/04 21:38
But it does and after you sign in with your Apple ID you need to delete your account within 7 days of having the app before you start getting automatically charged for it and it’s hard to delete
a couple tweaks needed to an otherwise perfect app
by Michayla18 on 2019/11/02 13:19
This is so close to being the ideal calendar/to-do app. No other app that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot) has done as well at integrating to do lists and a calendar. There are a couple things that would make this absolutely perfect, though. I really like having the monthly view with the dots showing which days have events, but I *really* wish the agenda view below it would scroll. It’s more difficult than it should be to move between dates in that view, especially when I’m trying to find time for an appointment far in the future. And this seems like a hard thing to do, so I’m not docking any stars for it, is being able to say or type, “meet Mom for dinner at 7 PM at restaurant,” and then having the app put all that information where it needs to be. Instead, the user has to type all of that in the individual date, time, location, and description fields. I’ve tried other apps that have this feature, and it is so convenient. But I’m guessing the tech behind it is pretty complex.
Lost me
by AWiZZLE5 on 2019/10/31 00:47
I have loved any.do for a long long time. Frequent premium member. However, there are severe stability issues. Location based reminders fail to notify me. I’ve been using TickTick and it’s been surprisingly amazing. But I certainly miss the any.do look and feel.
Last update took away a feature I loved
by Lovesdom on 2019/10/29 17:07
The update in September was perfect for me with calendar integration and most importantly the ability to go back and see tasks completed on previous days. It’s a reference for me to see when I worked on a project and how long it took me to complete. Now, with the new update they have all disappeared and I have an area that says 850 overdue tasks at the beginning of my day view. When I click on it the app freezes. Bring back being able to view completed tasks in the calendar view. It was the only reason I kept the app and told my friends about it.
Great functionality, superior tech support.
by rioazur on 2019/10/27 18:44
I love the functionality of this phone and web app. But when I ran into a bug, I was super impressed by the responsiveness of tech support—same day. Follow up to check on me the following day. I’m sold!
Won’t share lists
by tiny019 on 2019/10/27 12:57
Which is pretty much the entire point of the app and it won’t function.
Love how easy it is to quickly write an idea
by BonoboCousin on 2019/10/26 19:23
Love this app. Can you make it so I can make my own preset reminder times. I use “tomorrow” and “later today” a lot. Would love to be able to make “Monday at 9am” or something else depending on my usual schedule. I’ll think of things to do at work for the next week and I set them for Monday at 9am so I get in and can log the to do list.
Beware: they do not honor refund policy!
by Edsmith500 on 2019/10/26 12:52
I purchased an annual subscription because the FAQ clearly stated there is a 14-day grace period for requesting a refund. Requested a refund after 4 days of unsuccessfully trying to make this work for my workflows (beautiful design but lacking key features, and trying to implement them with zapier is prohibitively expensive). Took 5 days for support to respond (even though FAQ says premium customers get a response in 48 hours) and my refund request was at refused but after I sent them the text from Any.do’s FAQ, I received an email documenting that my CC would be refunded. Upgrading to 3 stars because the UI is beautiful and Any.do Moment is great
i thought this app was great
by *•Soph•* on 2019/10/25 19:35
It was great at first, it synced with my Alexa and I could add things to my list that were at the top of my head. However, yesterday i created the most in-depth, detailed list of VERY important items i needed to complete. i had dates, times, addresses and everything in this list. however, when i went into the app today, that whole list is mysteriously missing. Absolutely no where to be found. this is immensely frustrating and infuriating. If i can’t trust this app to keep my lists and reminders, i don’t want it. deleting now.
Calendar still buggy
by ahtigers10 on 2019/10/24 20:42
Despite many updates since the problem started, the calendar is still buggy. The problem is the name of the month at the top bugs out when you swipe between months. Many times, it will display the wrong month name altogether. This has caused me to enter calendar events and appointments into the wrong month SEVERAL times. PLEASE fix this! Also, for some reason I can’t set my Alexa synced grocery list as the default list? It’s not even listed as an option when I go to the default preferences. That’s the list I’m using 9 times out of 10, so this is a nuisance. Also it would be great if it didn’t default to the “All Tasks” list every time I click on the lists tab. The number of taps required to get from the calendar to the desired list is very cumbersome.
Keeps crashing!
by @KanyeMix on 2019/10/24 01:28
I have an iPhone X and the application crashes nearly every single time I open it and try to cross something off my list. I’ve deleted and redownloaded 3 times! No way I will pay for the full version if I can’t even keep the app open.
Full day event
by gr8gizmoguru on 2019/10/23 03:43
How do i set the reminder time for full day event?
Support is slow
by robbeaumont on 2019/10/21 13:11
If a refund is required, support takes several days to respond. Their response was to take the refund up with Apple. However, because of the time lapse apple then says too much time past to issue a refund. Its a nice scam to make sure the developer keeps your money. I suppose they needed the 59.99 (plus tax) more than I did.
10/20/19 update
by YAKE the GREAT on 2019/10/20 04:55
Thank you so much for this stability update. For a while this app was a little glitchy and some strange things would happen. But the devs work hard and I love this app. It helps me in daily life and in the long term :) Suggestions: Label fonts; Correctly-sorted-by-date “deleted items”; and perhaps a more fluid “reoccurring tasks”
Apple Watch
by Taniiiique on 2019/10/18 22:10
I’ve been having issues with opening this app on my Apple Watch. I finally got it to open today but none of my tasks were visible.
I don’t need Facebook!
by DethEngine on 2019/10/18 13:47
All I wanted is a nice, clean to do list. I don’t want to “sync with my family” or any of that other bulls**t! You just want my email address so you can spam me or sell it to other businesses. Well you can keep it because I’m deleting it.
I like it..but
by iwi fresh on 2019/10/10 12:24
It’s an ok app.. I like the layout got the task list. But it’s limited.. you can’t sync tasks with google Calendar. You can’t color code your list. Etc...
Not happy
by Valdaree99 on 2019/10/10 09:08
When I downloaded this morning, I decided to try the premium. It said $3.00/ month so I thought I was paying $3.00/month. Not the $35.99 that came out of my account. I cancelled immediately.
Gets the job done.
by K. Seales on 2019/10/02 23:54
I do really like this app. I’d only change a few things. The new calendar layout is hard to navigate and doesn’t always update with the correct month. It starts off with showing the week by default. I liked it better when it used to be the entire month. The second thing is since I got an iPhone 11 pro, whenever I’m editing a task, there isn’t enough padding in between the top of the screen and the bottom shade so it’s hard to close out of the task your editing in. Small things but it would make my life way easier if they were fixed. Thanks!
Can’t cancel subscription
by VERYFRUSTATEDdddddddtttttddddd on 2019/09/30 20:23
I have spent HOURS over the past few days trying to cancel my premium subscription. I got a free (15 day?) trial and simply can’t afford any extra expenses or subscriptions in my life. The website makes it VERY CLEAR that I must cancel from the app I purchased from, but I CANNOT figure that out from the Applications app, the Any.Do app and every time I reset my password, it tells me the new password is invalid. PLEASE HELP! The website is also very clear they are unable to reimburse payments that went through but there is NO WAY to contact anyone for support! HELP!
Awkward UI
by gerryp122 on 2019/09/30 13:48
I’d love to love this app, but the UI is poorly designed. Examples (1) when you add/edit a task you have to swipe down instead of button close (1b update) when you sort by Date, Upcoming Tasks are not sorted by date - huh? (2) you can’t select and move multiple tasks (3) search icon should be on main page (4) when you delete a task you have to delete it again with a clear, just more work (5) on iphone11 the slightest side touch on a task deletes it, over sensitive. There are some great things, like speed of cloud sync, but overall the company needs a UI/UX focus study to improve. Forget all the AI/ML talk for now, get the basics down.
Crashes at welcome screen
by Teraphosa-Leblondi on 2019/09/30 13:21
I’ve been using the app for a long time, generally OK. But the latest version crashes my phone (iOS 12.4.2) when I try to move from the welcome screen (asking me to grant access to my calendar, which I have no use for) to the task list. This doesn’t happen every time - maybe every 2nd or 3rd time I start the app.
False advertising
by Gorium on 2019/09/29 22:45
Is it free or not???
Syncing does not work!!!
by fasdfasdfas on 2019/09/29 18:56
Huge problem in the fact that it doesn’t auto sync, and if you manually refresh, it doesn’t populate either. Super inconvenient and unhelpful, especially since syncing is a core feature of a to do list app. Switching to different app if not fixed soon.
Widget bug
by ywesf93 on 2019/09/29 05:40
The widget after the latest update is not working properly, it sometimes doesnt show the tasks I have.
Don’t get it for the Grocery List
by Andrew0002 on 2019/09/29 04:35
Trying to use this between the phone app and the watch app is totally infuriating. If you add an item in the phone app and it isn’t one of their stock items, you can set a custom category on the phone, but it just comes over to the watch as “Other” category. Even if that gets fixed, you can’t reorganize the categories. So if you want the “Frozen Food”category to be the last thing on the list, you’re out of luck because the categories are sorted alphabetically. It may be great for the other stuff it does, but the grocery list is just an afterthought - they haven’t really thought it through.
LOVE NEW UPDATE
by 😡😡✋✋✋✋✋ on 2019/09/28 05:48
YESSS! Thank you! Love the new update!!! I’ve been waiting for the feature for my calendar to sync from my iPhone into the Any.do app!! Awesome, great new features! Can’t wait to use this more since I will now have all of my calendar events in this app!!
I like the app, but...
by Starsigma on 2019/09/27 11:32
I have recently downloaded this application and I like the interface and the overall usefulness of the app itself. However what I find to be frustrating is I like a reminder app which gives me location based reminders. Most apps you can simply type in a name of a location such as Kroger's for example. You do not have to put in the address and it will simply remind you whenever you get near or at a location with that same name without having to put in a specific address. In this case you have to put in the exact address in order to get a location based reminder, most places you don't have an address unless it's a place you go regularly. The app doesn't give the option to show a map and look up a location however when you find what you're looking for it does not give you the option to select the location on the map and have the address automatically imported . Hopefully this is something they will correct in the future because this action would make the app easier to use in the end. Also the app automatically connects to Amazon Alexa. Which would be fine except for example it copies over my grocery list. Then shows for my tasks over 50 items due today because my groceries have been added to it. Even though my groceries have not been given a due date just items needed. So every day when it asks you to create your day. It will ask about every single grocery item and when I plan to buy them. Got old real fast. I have looked and do not see an option to stop this from occurring. Plus the option in setting to sync with Alexa...doesn’t allow you to edit it to choose what you would or would not sync. I for one have my grocery list synced to another app and wouldn’t even include it with this one. Also every single time a reminder/task comes up on your screen and you go and mark it complete. It automatically opens the full application for you to go in and mark complete. Very annoying. What is the point of having the app show up on your watch or pop up on your screen if you have to go in and manually mark complete anyways. I don't know if I'll be keeping the app do to these issues. I am not willing to pay $9 a month with these types of issues in place. Maybe I will check it out again if they make changes.
Great App But Mossing 1 Key Feature
by iphoneappreviewsn on 2019/09/26 03:55
I love Any.do. My favorite part about it is the “Plan my day feature.” I don’t know about other people, but my todo list priority order frequently changes. The plan my day feature is a great way to re-prioritize as well as view all your tasks so nothing slides through the cracks. It’s seriously a great feature you have to try to see the benefit. Other aspects of Any.do are also pretty good. Nice interface, pretty stable, looks nice. Now the missing feature: Natural Language Input. Half the time I’m entering a task, I’m trying to do it in a hurry and I almost always need to set a reminder. With other apps, Todoist and Tick Tick for example, you can add a todo by typing “turn on the sprinklers at 8am” and they parse the input to create a reminder for you. Any.do doesn’t do this (as far as I can tell). There seems the best a pretty popular feature request on their website, but it’s quite old (+1 year). This one missing feature is having me considering switching back to todoist or trying tick tick. Please added this feature! (Or show me how to use it if it already exists :)
DO NOT UPGRADE!!!!!
by Ashford K. on 2019/09/25 21:31
DO NOT UPGRADE!!!! It is totally useless and garbage now - long loading time for a calendar !?, can't turn off "Assistant", and many terrible "new features."
Task fails
by Drken48 on 2019/09/24 20:49
Every time I add a task in Task View, the app crashes after the first task is added. This happens in my iPad, my iPhone and in both of the new iOS versions. The app is the problem!
Good until last few updates (September 2019)
by Jasminboston on 2019/09/22 23:55
We used to love the app, and particularly the connection to Amazon Alexa. I could tell Alexa to add something to a grocery list and that would show up in my any.do list on my phone. The sync was instantaneous. This functionality is broken! New Alexa lists don’t show up in the app and the old ones stopped syncing entirely. This integration is what was setting this app apart, and now it’s just another list app :(
Crashes too much for a Reminders alternative
by Spiritwave2000 on 2019/09/22 23:42
I was looking forward to using this app to manage my university course work as I accidentally upgraded my Apple Reminders app and cannot sync between my iPhone and Mac, but the app cannot load on the iPhone. I have tried multiple times to use it, but it crashes every time. I was hoping this would be a viable alternative to what Apple made a mistake with in terms of syncing, but I will have to look elsewhere.
Good but crashes frequently
by TaylorPlayer on 2019/09/21 13:20
App freezes solid on adding an attachment I am trying to attach an image to a task and the app freezes and must be force quit. This is on an iPhone 6s with ios13.
App force closes
by One4eddy on 2019/09/21 01:22
iPhone 11, app is force closing every time I open the settings and it’s not linking to the iWatch at all. 😒 I even paid for the pro version.
Amazing until new update
by Ks519 on 2019/09/19 14:38
I absolutely loved the usefulness of this app until the new update. I don’t like how I can’t easily see my task list with my calendar anymore (because it’s too bulky and I can’t look at the entire month and scroll through my to-do list at the same time. I can only scroll while looking at the week). I’ve also been missing things on my to-do list because the new version puts the top of the screen at whatever is your most current task based on the time you set and keeps “missed” tasks on their missed day, causing me to miss them completely.
Back Again! Here’s my feature request...
by KrisspyKreme on 2019/09/16 16:08
I first tried Any.Do a few years ago and it was a little too “feature rich” for me at that time. But the business of my life has accelerated and now I need all the features that Any.Do offers (and I’d like to request even more features). My one feature request: the ability to filter out tasks that I’ve delegated to other people. It would help “unclutter” my list and give me a focused view of my own tasks.
Crashes majority of the time!
by mmmarinaaaaaa12345 on 2019/09/15 13:49
I bought this app after trying a bunch of productivity and planning apps. It’s a little frustrating that after paying $35, I find that it crashes upon opening 80% of the time. Other than that, I find it useful, clean-looking, and pretty intuitive (I’m not sure that 100% love the flow to create a new task...I also which there was easier way to bulk rollover the tasks I didn’t finish one day to the next).
Crashes
by Lperry6 on 2019/09/10 18:53
The app on the Apple Watch crash. You can Only use it on your iPhone. So what’s the point of this being an Apple Watch application if it doesn’t even work.
Unfortunate that have to pay subscription
by Oddessi on 2019/09/09 10:28
I was very intrigued by the new Focus mode that was added so decided to download the app. First thing I saw before even completing the sign up was that most the features I had interest in you had to buy a subscription to utilize. Didn’t even bother completing the sign up since I wasn’t going to pay for a subscription just to see if I liked those features or not.
I like it BUT...
by jodyash on 2019/09/09 00:10
I have a premium account and am really liking this app. It’s on my iPhone, iPads, and MacBook Pro. I have not seen any problems with syncing. HOWEVER, there is one major annoyance. Since I am retired, I am not working with a team and do not need an assistant, and the ad/reminder that I should get one is quite distracting, especially with the changing faces. As I won’t be getting an assistant, I am not looking forward to this distraction being permanent. Is there a way to make it go away?
Awesome New Views
by scorprol on 2019/09/08 17:22
The new calendar views are a great improvement for the app, wish they could be in android too; 5 star it after that!
Update is a problem
by Pnorc24 on 2019/09/07 19:06
Since the update on 9/2/19 the app is so slow or won't retrieve my information at all. Please fix since we are paying for this.
Bad updates
by JimiVfoundation on 2019/09/05 18:28
Starting about a month ago the app has become laggy to the point that it is unusable. There has been two updates since and isn’t fixed. About to call it quits and ask for my money back. Yes I am on the most recent iOS.
Crashes on Apple Watch
by LarrySellsHomes on 2019/09/02 13:42
I love the new calendar view with the tasks listed along with the events. The problem I have is that every time I try to open the app on my Apple Watch it crashes. I really would like to renew my subscription but will not at this point if any.do will not work on my watch.
Issues with app
by Slimwooly on 2019/08/31 19:36
I really wanted to like this app. I know it works for a lot of people. It somehow found unfinished tasks I had from 7 - yes 7 years ago, and listed them in the app. This was disturbing because it asked me to call a dead relative, pick up dinner for an ex-boyfriend and visit a friend with cancer. All things I could have done without seeing today. I checked them off in the app as completed, went to try and find them in my iPhone reminders program to permanently delete them - and they are not there. I went back into Any.do and even though I had checked off calling my dead relative, etc. and closed the item by hitting the x - there they all were again, back as if I never checked them off 2 minutes before. I appreciate the tenacity of it reminding me, but I could do without the added trauma. If I didn’t do something 7 years ago, it’s kind of pointless to remind me now. And, just for the record, I called my dead relative and visited my friend with cancer 7 years ago!! Thank you for the response, however if you actually read what I wrote above, they are either NOT in the reminders program any more or long checked off as completed. I will take you up on the advice to contact the support and open a ticket. Many thanks.
Great app but have a question! HELP!!
by tip all the way! on 2019/08/31 18:02
When editing a birthday, I’m unable to save my alerts because it says “Calender is read only.” Thanks for getting back to me! I have just emailed the screenshot.
Crashes upon opening immediately upon download
by W0nd3rFULL on 2019/08/31 03:42
I paid $35 dollars for this app, and it immediately stopped working. I updated iOS, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone - and it still doesn’t work. I will say their customer service is great - I’m just so sad that the app is unusable on my phone.
Hate this app since last update
by Ann from Marshfield on 2019/08/29 02:30
I do not like the changes that were made recently to this app. I use it to set my schedule for each day with recurring tasks each week. Now I cannot change the date or delete a task for a week like I could before. I will cancel this paid app as soon as I move my info to another app that will better suit my needs.
Slow slow slow. Lags. Crashes. How is this app getting all 5 stars?

Bought premium. I like it a lot, when it works. My app crashes all the time. It freezes and takes forever to load (even after its already open in my tray.) I don’t leave many reviews so I’m obviously annoyed by the fact that such a seemingly popular app isn’t able to load a simple reminder list (less than 50 todos) instantly like any other task app. Mediocre so far. I hope they fix the bugs.
Really unhappy and marked my iOS reminder as completed without my permission.

Latest update format is not an improvement
by ladfour on 2019/08/23 16:51
I’m not one to complain about app updates, because usually it’s just a matter of time to get used to the new format, so this is a first. A few years ago I searched for a simple calendar app because Apple’s calendar was getting so cluttered. Was excited to find any.do, loving the simple presentation, and the combination of events and tasks was a bonus. However, the latest update is functioning just like Apples calendar, trying to do too much on one screen with colors etc. I want to see the full month calendar at open (not a rolling week), and see days events/tasks listed below simply as before. The color blocks are distracting. Also want empty days to show as empty, not skipped. The one function I’ve been hoping for, a “Today“ button, has never been developed. If the old presentation format was available as a setting then I would stay with your app. If you’re sticking with with current format going forward then unfortunately I’m on the hunt for a new calendar app.
Update: Terrible customer service
by asdfdsasdf on 2019/08/20 15:59
Update: customer service reached out to me and resolved the issue quickly. I still can’t personally justify the price for any.do premium, but at least cs is good. An above average to do list app, however definitely doesn’t justify the 27 dollars a year. However the worst is the customer service. Supposedly they have a refund policy that allows you to get a complete refund within seven days of canceling your subscription. I have now emailed them three times without a single response.
Okay
by Kahz1775 on 2019/08/20 05:05
The calendar keeps reverting back to the previous year. This has already caused one missed meeting.
Worst update
by teeeeeee21 on 2019/08/19 14:06
I really hate this new update as it no longer has the option of the monthly view. I already purchased a year plan for this calendar and am now stuck with something that’s not better than my free calendars on my phone. Please bring back the monthly view!
Poor sync with Alexa
by Crazyvet on 2019/08/15 14:08
Used to work well. Now when I create a list on Alexa and ask any.do not to sync that list - it will delete the entire list on Alexa! Contacted any.do - told they're working on it but not fixed yet. Will update review if problem is addressed
There are no instructions.
by whateverxxxxxxxxcxcc on 2019/08/14 23:20
I got such great reviews I signed up for the premium service only to discover there is an a single straightforward one-size-fits-all video that explains to you how to use the app. It’s large, unwieldy and confusing. There is also no way to reach a support person. Unless I’m crazy, I don’t understand what I just bought.
Charges without notice
by Rob Montiero on 2019/08/14 19:21
Be aware this company charges without any notification .. I only knew because I was reconciling my credit card and there was a charge sitting there (3 weeks ago) for an annual charge . I had deleted my account thinking that would be it .. I reached out to company they said I only have two weeks to cancel once they charge but of course they don’t send any notifications that they are charging .. #SCAM . They would NOT REFUND .. This is bad business practice .
Doesn’t really flow.

I downloaded this app for one reason only. It works with Alexa. Ok, I said, ill give it a try, so I got it and signed up for a month of premium ($5.99) The rest of my morning was spent trying to figure the app out. After the first three crashes, it smoothed out. The UI is simple, white back ground- no Dark Mode. You have the ability to change the font color. The screen that allows you to show all of your calendar and to dos is a scrolling clunky mess. You can get this view from any app on the market. On the To Do side, adding them is simple- not by keyboard shortcuts, unfortunately (like CMD-N) Adding repeating events is very clumsy (this feature is only available with premium) The repeat automatically defaults to the present time with no way to edit this and you cannot go into a task and edit it to repeat- this has to be done during the initial task set up. On the to do page, it gets worse. In one view (on iPad) on the left is a list of My Lists- which cannot be edited- cannot remove a list..I turned off Apple Reminders, yet there is still a box there, unused, that I can’t get rid of. There is another tab for Tags, which are color coded. Nice, but when you add a tag to a To-Do, you only get the color- not the label for the tag in the To Do view. So, this is about as far as I got with this app. I’m not happy with all of the little “quirks” and weirdness of it. Deleted it.
Very Useful!
by retired-n-happy on 2019/08/08 12:14
I used to use todoist app, but any.do is far better in my opinion. The free version of this app is very useful and has excellent features. Sub tasks, notes, alerts, all things I was looking for in tasks are here.
Please separate the reminders from the calendar.
by KingPaca1 on 2019/08/08 04:46
I really like this app, but I just don’t like the fact that the task (reminders) are shown on the calendar. I suggest that developers of this app they separate the tasks (reminders) from the calendar (agenda). Because when I go to the calendar I expect to see only my agendas (appointments) and not my tasks.

by Someone who fits the nick name on 2019/08/07 02:06
I really like this to do list and calendar combo, what I don’t like is that eve though I wanted to sync with one calendar it synced with all of my calendars its one big cluster. I only wanted my personal calendar. Im glad I didn’t buy it.
Lackluster support
by cheenukan on 2019/08/06 04:18
The promise a 2 days turn around for premium users however they take more than a week to respond and that too in an extremely casual and unprofessional communication. Below is the response for 2 issues raises weeks apart with detailed explaination I am very sorry for the delay in response! What issues are you experiencing with Sharing a task? Which task are you trying to share? Regarding Siri and Apple reminders, what exactly is the issue?
Any.do is Great!! 🙂
by 5316-User on 2019/08/05 16:30
Been using Any.do alongside Informant planner app. Find the Any.do interface layout is better and Any.do provides all the functions of Informant. Will continue ‘parallel’ use but pretty sure I will switch to Any.do as my planner app.
I miss the old view
by AdamT44 on 2019/08/05 04:11
Is there anyway to bring back the view from the last version? I looked everywhere for an app that used the to do list and calendar and thus was the best by far but I loved the old view. The one I’m talking about had the monthly calendar up top and the daily to do list at the bottom. 5 stars if you can bring back the older view. It was the best! Now it’s not as easy to see tasks and events together.
Unreliable
by JamoGB on 2019/08/01 18:26
Unfortunately your app is really unreliable. It doesn’t remind me most of the time, when it’s meant to.
If I pay for premium, can I finally delete the }%{*}%?! “Grocery” list?
by **Joe** on 2019/07/31 00:45
I use the app daily and generally enjoy it. My biggest pet peeve is that every time I delete the “grocery” list it reappears. If I wanted a grocery list, I would create one myself!
Looks Great But...
by Angelyon on 2019/07/29 05:30
It runs so slowly on my XS Max. None of my screen touches register and when they it's delayed. As of this review 28Jul2019, the app was just updated yesterday. Hoping this is a big so I truly try this app out. Will hold off on subscription until this gets fixed.
This app could be great...Apple watch users beware
by vero432 on 2019/07/28 21:26
I really like the ease of using this app on my iPhone and how you can separate tasks for that day or the future. However.... on the Apple Watch there’s about a 10 percent success rate in using the app. The other 90 percent of the time that I try to use the app it automatically closes out.
Just starting...
by UncleJSag1981 on 2019/07/24 16:14

Location based reminders don’t work
by shazadtr on 2019/07/20 10:02
There are countless reminder apps. I bought this for its location based feature. I have it 1 star because I pay for this, it does not work and the support is slower than the United States postal service. 2 days to tell me to reinstall the app and send screen shots. 3 days of silence. Wasted time and effort!
Cannot get past pricing
by Think Peace on 2019/07/20 05:36
Opened app, checked premium, had one set of prices. Closed app, within a few minutes opened app again, and prices shot up a few bucks a month and no more annual option. Checked dev website, different pricing than within app. Checked description on apples app page here, different pricing (says 50% off annual... but where do you buy and again, different annual pricing than other places). :-(
A lot of problems
by Aaron Da Misfit on 2019/07/20 04:10
So much ingenuity with this app, but the issues I had with reminders forced me to delete. I have repeat reminders that live in the apple reminders app and Any.do would frequently change the due times to midnight, 3:45am and 8:45pm. Not sure why it chose those times, but it was infuriating. The other issue I had was that it didn’t allow me to “unsubscribe” from certain reminder lists in apple reminders app. Maybe the app works best if used exclusively, but I’ve had perfect syncing with my calendar app for years, so I’m used to that functionality.

Really though; for me, feature set is everything. I want tools and I want them to all play together under the same umbrella/ecosystem. - W/ the addition of Focus mode just recently, we now have an app that offers most if not all of the useful task tracking features present usually only across separate apps - AND the ability to choose one, hunker down and get it done in a guided way within the app. I won’t dock a star for it, but I do wonder if the “Forest growing” method for focus tracking is actually more useful to the mind than more traditional pomodoro. - I recently switched from using an app like this focus mode - “stay on task, grow trees, grow a focus forest” to using a more simple pomodoro, but I’m definitely excited for ANY style of focus feature because let’s face it, that is the HARDEST part about task management. No other app has taken this into consideration to my knowledge and this is a big step I think for the standards of productivity apps.
Mostly good but some frustrating parts
by norcal185785 on 2019/07/08 13:54
There are a lot of features that should be able to covert back and forth between formats. For example I want to create a grocery list and was trying to figure out the app so I clicked on something and it put the grocery list in my to-do list instead of keeping it in the grocery list section where it separates it into food categories for you. There is no way to fix it so I am stuck with a messed up format that I should be able to easily change back. There are a few other things where once you switched it to see what it does, you can’t switch it back. Be careful
Why bother pretending it’s a free app?
by Gen_Italia on 2019/07/06 02:26
The features that were actually useful were all paywalled, so we ended up immediately deleting the app.

Been using this app for 5+ years now - it’s awesome and keeps me organized. The only feature not available on iOS is “missed calls” reminder, which was on Android when I did have a Samsung....but I’m sure that’s purely Apple’s doing... Besides that, the app works great on both platforms....love it!!!!
Much better than I expected
by Plushbear3 on 2019/06/25 23:41
I usually don’t get that thrilled about to-do apps. They usually don’t give me a very satisfactory way of handling my priorities. Any.do gives me much of the flexibility that I only would have if use pen and paper, which I tend to lose all the time. I also have ADHD, so it’s a must have to put down routines that people often take for granted as something you would just do without thinking about it.
Can’t Even Get Started
by LittleMonsterLove on 2019/06/24 12:00
When I attempt to creat an account (using any of the methods provided) I just get looped back to the start screen again and the button I used will then not work - even after restarting the app. Not a promising start.
Unaware Being automatically charged
by electrofan07 on 2019/06/23 11:16
The app was ok. I went back to writing down my lists. The most frustrating thing is how easy it is for them to renew your payment and charge you whatever they like. If you are not on top of things, they will quietly charge your credit card. I am not sure what I paid but they signed me up until January 2020! That is complete bs. I officially canceled through the manage your subscription interface. I am stuck paying until January 2020. I contacted them in the past and they said you have to contact apple and basically try and make a case to get a refund. Users beware and really stay on top of your subscriptions.
Sounds great but…
by HoustonGay on 2019/06/23 00:09
I came across a really good review of this app so I downloaded it today. I am very disappointed because I cannot test everything because it is not voiceover accessible. Most of the buttons are not labeled properly. Although, the purchase buttons are clearly labeled. It’s unfortunate because it seems as though this app does do a lot… Not for the blind though… SMH

by McWetty on 2019/06/22 05:49
I just moved over to Any.Do from AnyList and I'm pretty happy. The smart grocery list is 90% perfect. A few suggestions for the developers: 1.) Make recurring tasks free. It's such a basic thing. Seems silly to lock it behind premium. 2.) Let us resize (or choose the matrix of columns and rows) for the tasks page. All that white space... 3.) Allow us to select which iCloud lists we are syncing. I have 3 lists, but only 1 on any.do? 4.) I'd love to support the developers, but $6/mo? No. $10/yr is more than enough from my wallet. Other than that, keep it up!
You have this app already...
by Fitzy131378 on 2019/06/21 12:59
If you have the native calendar app you have this app. No need to download it. I’m looking for a calendar app to keep track of one thing and one thing only but every single calendar app demands to sync with your current calendar app or you can’t use it. I just want a calendar that doesn’t have everyone’s birthday and holiday and everything thing else. To difficult I guess. They probably make more money selling our info this way.

Terrible
by LittleMissMeow on 2018/03/05 03:21
I use to really like this app until the recent update. I can’t get my activities to go to the designated place like I use. I am on the hunt for something else. I don’t know why developers mess with a good thing! Support contacted me but I can’t put anything back like it was. Very aggravating! The new update really messed up a good thing! 🤬Until this is fixed I won’t rate this anymore than a one. To the developer - Please stop trying to contact me. I have been in touch with your people trying to see how my issue can be fixed. It should be simple. It takes forever for anyone to get back to me. I shouldn’t have to pay to have someone help me faster. If the people who help with this app responded as fast as they do to people posting reviews things would be great! I haven’t heard from anyone in two days on the issue I would like fixed. Apparently I have angered someone. I get a response every time I edit this review. These people keep sending me the same response daily. Too bad they don’t contact me to help me the issue I have! I have been waiting and all I get is this response to my review. Forget this app and get one that the developer will assist in helping if you need it. It’s March 4th and still nothing worth noting from this app developer. That should show anyone what their users mean to them. Find a better app with people that actually want to help their customers.
Convenient, Easy 2 Use, Siri & Alexa
by bauch.k on 2018/05/28 15:47
I’m not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Well, obviously they feel they had a bad experience, I just don’t agree & haven’t had their problems. I received an Echo Spot & tried this app when I saw it listed as working with Alexa. I like that the app made connecting with Alexa, Calendar, Reminders, etc very easy. I have had no problems. It works with both Alexa & Siri, nice clean interface, always sends my reminders, integrates my calendar no matter where I enter my event/reminder (through Alexa, Siri, Reminders, or Calendar), sub tasks works great, & I haven’t had any lagging. I love the ‘plan your day’ thing, very easy, intuitive, & useful! I’m not running this on a new iPhone either, a very full 6s+, & I have not bought a subscription. It does sometimes open slow, but only when I have a bunch of apps open so it is my phone not the app. This hasn’t completely replaced Things app since nothing (for me) does projects like it, but I no longer use Things for everything, pretty much just business projects. So far this has been a very useful, easy to setup, & easy to use app that does what it advertises, also working with both Siri & Alexa.
a couple tweaks needed to an otherwise perfect app
by Michayla18 on 2019/11/02 13:19
This is so close to being the ideal calendar/to-do app.
Great planner app!
by HuskyGirl0416 on 2018/02/27 01:14
I really like this app, it helps a lot! I got it going into high school because I’ve always been terrible at writing in a physical planner, and saw it suggested in a story I’m subscribed to on snapchat. One problem, though... I feel like you have to pay for too many features. I know the developers need to make money, but I think they should maybe make some more features available for those who don’t want to us money on the app. I really like how simple it is and easy to use. Anything that needs explaining is covered when you first open the app! 😄 I use this a lot. It helps me remember what I need to do for homework and it also helps me not procrastinate because it reminds me to do things I need/want to do. It also helps that I have a visual to-do list. If you have problems remembering things you need to do, if you’re a procrastinator or if you want a planner, but don’t like having to buy one every year, I highly suggest this app.
Best planner app out there
by Chisaray on 2017/11/09 02:45
I've tried so many apps to manage my life, and this by far is the best I've found to help maintain my long to do lists and crazy calendar! Some suggestions for future releases: 1) a button on the calendar that brings you back to "today" quickly. I've found that the only way I can get back to the current date when I'm adding tasks far out is to re scroll through the entire calendar again. 2) in the all tasks section, have the upcoming tasks ordered automatically by date instead of by order of when you added the task. It makes it hard to manage to do's via. that list when it's all out of order. Both minor, but would be immensely helpful in my daily use! Keep up the great work :)
Efficient Way to Organize my To-Do Lists
by anomelie on 2018/10/31 18:29
I use this for my To-Do list every day. I used to keep paper lists that I’d have to scribble on and re-write when they got messy. This app keeps everything organized, and if I don’t plan to do something until later, I can put it out of my mind until then, because I get a reminder on the specific day of the task. I can have less on my mind, knowing that everything is accounted for & that it’ll come up on my list as it needs to. The only down side is not being able to adjust to a custom date when using “Plan My Day.” (“Someday” is not a helpful category because I’ll just forget to do it without a reminder, so I end up choosing “next week “ even if what I want is “in ten days,” then in a week I have to choose “two days from now” and then in two days choose “tomorrow” if I’ve forgotten to go in and adjust it from the other screen.)
Drag to sort is my favorite feature
by Savychoosyshopper on 2018/09/25 18:25
It’s why I chose this app out of many choices. This responsive dragging feature does not appear to be an option in the new designated Grocery list. Here’s why it’s useful to me: suppose I need carrots, onions, lettuce, eggs, brown sugar, bread and cereal—and I’m thinking there will be time to go to Costco and Trader Joe’s. So, I drag-sort into grocery sections by likely stores, as I’ll probably get carrots, onions, maybe bread etc at TJ’s or I’ll end up with too much food to get through before spoiling. But I want the entire list in view as might run out of time and just get that 5 lb bag of carrots at Costco, make soup or juice with the excess. And, I can sort the grocery items by area of that produce department (ie apples, pears, citrus found together as are onions, potatoes, garlic, shallots, etc) so I’m not zipping into that chilly (Costco cooler room!) area more than once. Please preserve this lovely feature.
Great app but missing some stuff
by reviewed in detail on 2018/01/16 07:58
It’s 5 stars for how easy it is to use and yet how satisfying and helpful however it’s missing something unless I just cant find it. It’s the only thing keeping it from being perfect and its the fact that your lists while they technically are “checklists” I feel much more accomplished when I have it set to have a checkmark beside it rather than a line scratching through the tasks. There are many apps out there that let you switch between swiping out a task or having a checkmark beside it and its a small gripe but when I’m a subscribed member this is something that bothers me as it’s show on the app display pictures but isnt in app.

I really find it beyond frustrating!
by I. M. B. R. on 2017/10/17 04:37
I am looking for a ToDo app & it's like a big secret what the prices are for each app. If it's out of my price range why do I have to read all the info & reviews & still don't know the cost of it. If you are not ashamed of the price put it upfront so users can decide whether they want to spend the time on reading about it. I am a very direct person-sometimes too direct. I apologize for taking my frustrations out on you. I finally figured out how to find the prices...I still think it would be much more helpful to those of us looking for the right app to suit our needs to see the price right up front. It's so time consuming to search thru so many apps. But back to my apology. I saw that you are the best kind of app designer who answers anyone who has a question & promptly. Just the kind I wish I was dealing with now. I have experienced dealing with the opposite kind & its very frustrating. Some never answer you ! Kudos to you!
Best to do app, but...
by Mirrah Le Great on 2018/12/04 22:46
I upgraded to pro just because I do use this app all the time and want to help the developers keep being able to develop the app. I like this app the best out of the few major apps I tried out before. Other than supporting developers, the upgrade is pretty pointless. I thought at least being able to take pics as attachments could be useful to me, but the attachment function is terrible! It forces you to fit pictures into a square, and if you zoom in in the picture you can’t move to either side of the image. It just stays static. I want to use this to take pictures of handwritten notes or anything, really, but the cropping constraints render it almost totally useless!! Please update this! Honestly I’d update this rating to four or five stars and recommend the upgrade if this attachments issue were fixed.
It’s ok

The best thing about the app is it’s connection to Alexa and Siri so I can add to my reminders and lists in one place and on the go. However, the bells and whistles stop there. I paid for the “premium” version with the misunderstanding that it would have a more robust calendar function. It doesn’t. The only difference with the calendar is that you can change colors in the premium version and that is hardly worth the money. I need to have tasks and the calendar in a single app, and while it does this, there are much better apps for such integration. Not being able to see a day at a time or have alternative calendar views is the greatest weakness in this app for someone looking for an integrated task/calendar organization system. It would seem like an easy fix for an app with so much potential. I will not be buying the premium edition if I continue to use it at all.
Can’t log in. Can’t reset password. Useless!
by Lkuosbgtfjebwustvrvdkuc on 2018/04/21 15:17
I added this app as a skill for my Alexa Dot, and wanted to be able to use it across platforms so added the app to my phone. I was very excited that I would have something simple to add things my ADHD brain would have difficulty remembering. Too bad I can’t even log in! I use my phone’s password generator and with all of the security and privacy issues lately with Facebook I refuse to even consider using that to authenticate an account. When I try to come to the app to log in it tells me my email address and password do not match. So I tried resetting my password. It emails me a link that literally takes me to the login page! I tried it twice. Same thing happened. Can’t reset the password. Can’t log in. Completely and totally useless. I will continue my quest for an app and skill that can be used across both platforms because clearly this is not it.
May finally be giving up on this app
by Lyss87 on 2018/04/03 13:08
I really want to love this app. I keep it because I see such potential. However, the bugs that never really get fixed drive me insane. When I click on something I have to re-click because it doesn’t usually work the first time. When I move the order of the lists, a second later they are back to the original order. When I try to click to turn off the alarm notification I have to click multiple times before it takes and it usually causes another action that I didn’t want to happen. I considered it may be that I have the free version but other reviewers with the paid version have the same issues based on reviews. So I for sure am not going to risk losing money for the same issues to keep happening. I regret that I may have to start all over with another app which is a hassle since I spent so much time curating my lists onto this one. 🤦🏽‍♀️
This app keeps me organized when all other apps failed!
by TXbusyMOM5 on 2018/07/07 15:59
I am a mom with 5 kids and have to stay organized. I use my Apple calendar along with my entire family so I need something that will sync with it. I have tried every todo/task list available and there is always something that is so disappointing it leaves me searching for another app. However, with this app, I haven’t had that problem so far. I have been using it for about a month now and I am happy so far. There are some additional features I would like, which they do offer in there monthly subscription. Overall I am very satisfied with this app which keeps me organized when all other apps failed and syncs beautifully with my Apple calendar.
I could successfully delete this app free of subscription!
by AR9516 on 2018/01/13 11:20
1- If you want to choose different colors for tasks in the calendar, you should have to pay a lifetime monthly subscription! 2- The app imported all my tasks in reminder app and put them all in Today's category. And I had to delete more than 100 unwanted ones by sliding one by one as done tasks. No way to select and delete them together were found. 3- I don't know why app developers follow the fashioned way of asking for such subscriptions instead of selling them (when you can purchase a software/app there's no logical need for lifetime payment without any continuous particular service. Same as shopping a Microsoft Office software and use it forever). 4- With such circumstances I should appreciate it for letting me feel free to delete this app less than 10 minutes after installation and without having to pay subscription.
Frustrated loyal customer
by joyfulnoise82857 on 2018/10/08 12:20
This has been my to-do list app for the last year and a half. I have created/deleted/shared many lists. But within the past 2 months the syncing issues are getting in the way of my love for the app. I’ll be using my phone for days at a time- only to log onto my desktop version and find 15-20 undone tasks that I completed days beforehand. Lists shared between family members aren’t syncing anymore either. The only fix is to uninstall and reinstall. Every time. The grocery list needs work. I want to be able to drag and drop my groceries into other aisles. Again, more sync issues here too. If you have someone you share your grocery list with, be prepared for sync issues and for you both to come home with groceries you thought the other person hadn’t bought yet, since your any do lists didn’t sync 😐 For the record, our grocery lists synced for the past year, these issues aren’t connectivity based on our end. We have never had a problem with this until the past couple of months. I will say that developer support is decent and you will get a response if you submit a ticket. I’m holding out hope for a sync fix because I love this app- but it is a frustrating issue for sure.
Review update:
by fuzzy ears on 2018/11/17 19:09
Super happy with this app. It has become much more intuitive to set tasks and change dates/times when needed. THANK YOU! Old Review:I am really upset about the recent update, which removed the ability of the Plan My Day feature to utilize a daily/hourly calendar with plenty or options to organize and move tasks around and defer to specific calendar dates. It has instead reverted to the old, basic, dot progression, which allows for moving tasks only to “tomorrow”, “two days”, “next week”, and “someday”. I will not be renewing my Premium subscription when it expires if nothing is changed.
The More Things “Change”
by SongsAboutMusic on 2019/02/11 22:35
Yet another update in a tiny window of time (seems to be around once or twice a week) with the same standard cookie cutter iOS 11 explanation (“Sweeeet”) .... I’m all but positive these devs are mining data; they’re definitely on some BS, this app isn’t worth anywhere near a subscription at all, much less one so expensive. Don’t believe the hype. Don’t support this rapacious and predatory business model (cue dev misleading reply about “service“). The only reason it’s still on my iPhone (already been bounced from the other devices) is because I haven’t had a chance to transfer my data (been using this app for years, which should speak for its trajectory) to the other (just as useful if not more so) app(s) with more reasonable developers (sure, it’s been harvested several times over at this point but I don’t think they plan on being very forthcoming with/about it).
Misleading Calendar Integration
by IntensityTX on 2018/08/13 05:03
The app integrates with the calendar on your device, not directly to an email account on Outlook or Gmail. So I had to add the family email and calendar I setup to my iPhone calendar when I primarily use the Outlook app. Despite feature requests for this, the developer has closed those requests on their site stating the feature is complete when what has been added is not what most were actually requesting. On the positive side, the Alexa integration is fantastic. Would like to see more integration with Cortana. Lastly, if there is a way to add a to-do without having a due date or reminder set automatically I haven’t figured that out. I’m not finding it ideal that every grocery item has a reminder assigned to it. Would be nice if there was a way to set a general item list vs a to do list.
Missing a couple things + bug
by BuycottTrump on 2018/01/23 16:55
I LOVE the “moment” feature so I keep coming back to Anydo to see if the missing features I need have been added. 1. There needs to be a way to see if a task has subtasks, notes, etc WITHOUT having to click on the task. Things get missed because I don’t know more info is associated with the task. 2. Moment needs to cycle through every single task. It seems to skip a lot of them. I end up doing the moment process multiple times to see everything. Also there may be a bug... I could not get the app to open today after I updated it. -1 for bug and -1 for missing features. Will update when fixed. If these two things were added and bug fixed this would be a 5 star app!!
Used to mostly work, now unusable
by tsnix on 2018/12/17 07:50
I’ve used the app for a few years now. I learned early on not to rely on its reminder notifications, because most of the time they don’t work (especially on repeating tasks). However, other than that, it was pretty useful. In the last couple weeks, though, it has become so buggy, it’s completely unusable. When I mark a task as done, it crosses out like it should, but then it just stays in place instead of moving to bottom of the list. When I press the X to remove it, nothing happens. I have to either switch to a different screen (say, the settings) or force-close the app and reopen it before it will update the list. When I added some new tasks recently, it took a couple tries before it actually saved them. And now I just realized that some of my tasks have disappeared entirely. I have about a half-dozen tasks that repeat every Monday. They were all there last week, but, as of today, all but one is completely gone. I hate to think what I might have put in there a while ago that might be gone now and I won’t even realize it until it’s too late. I don’t need an app that forgets the things it’s supposed to remind me to do. I can forget to do things all on my own.
Don’t buy this app!
by MandaBerger7 on 2018/04/09 20:57
I made the mistake of purchasing a year subscription of this app and I am so mad at myself for doing so. I need something that works seamlessly between my phone and my laptop to keep tasks in order for work and it has been insanely frustrating trying to make that happen. The browser app deletes my reoccurring tasks EVERY TIME I complete it for a day. Some tasks just give themselves a new due date that I definitely did not assign them, and I can’t tag or share tasks with my team without those disappearing as well. I’ve emailed support numerous times and the same person responds days later with no solution. I don’t even think they are understanding the issue at all. Horrible customer service and horrible waste of money. I wish I could get my money back as well as the hours of frustration caused by the inadequacy of this app.
So excited to find this app!
by TennisMomma on 2019/03/11 01:58
Such cool features! Especially love the list order can be based on which grocery store I’m in!!! Also sharing with the family helpful when one of us in a store - they know what’s needed. When we shop together, it makes dividing and conquering the list so much easier since we see what each other has scratched off the list! Uploading recipes is a fun feature and being able to add ingredients to grocery list from recipe is handy. And again..easy to share with the family. No more excuse...”I wasn’t sure what to do tonight” 😉
Room For Improvement
by Maddie Brignac on 2019/06/13 18:27
This app is great! I currently use the free version, but might even upgrade to premium. The only thing I have to say is it is somewhat difficult to pinpoint the day you want the event on. This would be an easy fix though. Simply just allowing the user to set a date for the event and a separate reminder. Multiple reminders would also be very helpful. Also, in calendar view, the dates are a day off. For example, in the calendar Fathers Day is on Sunday June 16, 2019, but on the list below it has it as June 15th. But even if you click on the event, it’s still listed for the right date. Once again, a simple fix. Other than that, this app is great!
Not bad, much better than vanilla Reminders
by I'm ashamed on 2018/08/02 21:32
I am seeing some bad reviews by people that say the latest version has issues. Since I just installed it a few days ago and sharing it with family devices, we think it’s great. It’s a much more elegant Interface with much more functionality than just your vanilla reminders app that comes with iOS. Yes, with a combination of the Calendar app and the Reminders app you get much of the same functionality, but not all. Plus the interface is significantly better. Great for families. I am only giving it four stars the moment because we’ve only used it for a few days, but I think we’ve touched all the functionality and I will upgrade or downgrade as needed.
I miss some old features, but I really like the new color-coded tagging system
by SomeGirl1999 on 2018/08/30 03:27
I really miss the old “moment” feature where you could drag and drop tasks onto a time chart. You could resize the blocks for how much time they would take. This feature used to really help me realistically plan how much I could get done in one day. They canceled the feature and now the “moment” feature works differently. I really miss how it used to be. I hope they can add it back someday. However, one new feature that I really like is the tagging system feature so you can add your own color-coded tags onto your tasks and define what each tag means to you. For example: you can have a tag (red tag) that means to you “this takes 3 hours or longer to complete.” So you know not to plan a lot of stuff that’s tagged red. I personally also added: (yellow tag) = “this task takes 30 minutes - 2 hours to complete” (Green tag) = “this task takes 15 minutes or less to complete.” You can also tag stuff like (blue) = “social” Or (grey) = math projects for college.
Great app but premium needs more features
by Mistersexy on 2019/04/25 02:50
I absolutely love this app and use it everyday to keep myself organized. I would love to pay for the app in order support the project but unfortunately even the lowest price tier of $3/mo seems like way too much for a todo app, and the extra set of features (themes, labels, etc) are not worth paying for. The only thing that’s interesting in the paid plan is the location reminder but I can’t justify paying $40+ a year for that single feature. Either reduce the prices or make the features in the premium plan worth paying for!!!
Exactly what I needed
by mrs.mattis on 2018/08/10 15:40
Calendar events and daily tasks conveniently together in one place. I use this app everyday. I lost my daily chores and other things I need to get done with tasks and it syncs my events from my calendar. I LOVE that is carries over tasks that didn’t get done. I wish there were a way to delete tasks without checking them off though. I also love the simplicity of it, so please keep it that way. I have tried countless calendar and productivity apps, but this is exactly what I need! Thank you!
Switching back to Wunderlist
by Drej08 on 2018/01/09 15:35
As much as it pains me to write this, I have to switch back to Wunderlist ONLY because I've had so many issues syncing tasks across platforms. I love the fxnality of the app, but what good is a task list app that doesn't at it's core track your tasks no matter the device. I just had an instance where my tasks weren't synced between my phone and MacBook. Signed out on my phone, then signed back in. The app showed the tasks that I have on my MacBook but then deleted the tasks I had only on my phone. If they can solve this issue I'd be likely to switch back. Might even sign up for premium. If you're a user with only one device, this might be the app for you.
Thanks!
Be careful
Make sure it has what you need before you pay
by skyfranks on 2018/02/21 16:05
The free version doesn’t let you do much so I went ahead and paid for the subscription. However, I found out shortly after paying that a key feature I’ve used in task managers for a long time was missing from this application. That feature is to schedule a recurring task out a certain number of days upon completion of that task and not by the original date it was due. This was a dealbreaker for me so I ended up going with Things 3 which offers that feature, instead. So just to be sure to ask up front if the features you really need are available before paying.
Small issue: Capitalization Of List Titles
by Mutabi77 on 2018/09/22 19:39
Why is it when I create a list speaking to Alexa does it not Capitalize the first letter of the list title? I then manually go into my Alexa App as instructed to do on the Any Do App to change a list title, change the list title to Caps, & when I save the list title, it returns back to a lower case letter??? I also noticed when capitalizing within the Any Do App itself, for list items, it will revert my Caps back to lower case??? Do you guys have anything against capital letters or something??? 😁 LET THE PEOPLE HAVE CAPS! (Sorry, OCD about how my list titles and list items look 👀 within my AMAZING any do App!
Getting worse
by jed again on 2019/01/05 17:43
This has been my go-to app for years, used more than any other app. With recent updates, problems have arrived. All my devices have different lists. Repeated syncs and evaluations of lists aren’t helping. Items reappear after being moved. Repeating items are now difficult to change, and once changed still stay in current day lists. This has been going on now for weeks. I have started downloading other apps to look for a replacement. Conversations with developers has not resolved anything as they point to upcoming updates that haven’t yet fixed anything. I’m not looking for new fancy bells and whistles, just that it works consistently without fail.
Awkward UI
by gerryp122 on 2019/09/30 13:48
I’d love to love this app, but the UI is poorly designed.
After using for years I deleted it. Finally!
by JGplanes on 2019/05/25 04:39
I’ve used this app for a long time, and I like the interface and syncing. However, I recently had it both delete all my sub tasks for a very important project and also delete a high priority list, even though I pressed cancel. The only possible way to recover was to go to my iPad and disable the connection and take screenshots before it had a chance to sync. If syncing happens first it’s lost for good and there are zero, again zero, recovery options. Not sure what’s going on here, but I can’t keep using an app that has no backup, export, or recovery options. Also, it’s too easy to swipe and complete a task accidentally. I wish it would work, but I’m moving on. Looking for something better.
Disappointed in the premium version
by ChaseDuke on 2018/08/06 18:05
I used this app a couple of years ago and really like most aspects about it. I switched to wunderlist because it offered more festures like file upload, comments on each task, sub-tasks, and more... what i have missed and the reason i switched back to anydo AND purchased the premium service was to get the great reminders and the ability to snooze with detailed options. Since switching i have been disappointed in the reminders not being as flexible as I’d like and there is no option to change the tones. In addition, since i purchased the app through the apple app store, i HAD to go through apple to cancel my service.
Small text
by plking on 2018/10/06 12:57
Hate the newest update. I appreciate having categories, but I’d like the be able to have the option to Turn the categories off my shopping lists. Also the text now on the new update is HORRIBLE. It is SO small and hard to read. Another think I hate is you can no longer click and hold to change the order of the tasks. I also find thing in the wrong categories so I’m constantly deleting categories and trying to rearrange the list to not much success. Go back to the larger bolder text and lose the categories. It was perfect before.. now just irritating to use.
Unique To Do List App
by AndargachewD on 2018/02/13 23:29
I really like the interface, and how it combines my to do list with my calendar in a user-friendly way. My appointments to-do list is in the same area! Feedback I’d give is to have a way I’d be able to prioritize tasks. For example, you can have your big three tasks bolder, in a different color, or with a noticeable star next to them. Definitely have them on the top of the list for that day. Your other tasks would have the standard appearance in font).
Best To Do List app ever
by Skandalmom on 2017/10/06 12:22
Best to do list app out there! I have used a few but this one has flexibility, ease-of-use and is pretty much idiot proof. I love that it is a chrome extension, and I can access it anywhere I go. I love being able to share items on my to do list with my assistants and to check their status without having to nag them. My favorite part is that I can add things to my list directly from Gmail with a reminder if needed. Definitely worth downloading!
Great app!
by Nathan_Dahlberg on 2017/09/23 19:05
I really like the Plan My Day feature. One thing I’d love to see in a future update: When starting a todo item from scratch, the available preset options for selecting a reminder date are way better than those offered when deferring an item in the Plan My Day section. It would be really nice to at least have a ‘custom date’ option at the Plan screen, instead of just the today, tomorrow, two day, and someday options.
Helpful place to keep track of tasks but reminders need work
by Reliability Matters on 2018/06/24 18:03
If you just want a place to keep track of all the things you keep forgetting to do this is for you. However if you want something that will 100% remind you to do a certain task on time, make sure you have a back up reminder set on a different app. Somehow I’ll have a reminder set for a certain time and day with the sound on and the volume up on my phone and no reminder will go off at that set time. Sometimes it works, and it’s awesome, but the so-so reliability hurts my opinion of the app as a whole.
Makes me VERY PRODUCTIVE
by Lolz on 2018/01/15 23:19
Adding this app to my daily routine has helped me stay very organized with my business personal life and even my shopping list. The best part about this app is that I can share a lot of these features with my family members to allow them to also be able to take advantage of this amazing to do list application. I recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their life and become on top of everything that you need organized.
Still a good app
by JoyR81 on 2018/11/27 22:34
The newest update provides a grocery list feature that auto-sorts some items by department. The department categories would be quite helpful if I could manually sort the remaining items into them— for example, yogurt was auto-sorted into “dairy,” but butter is left in “other.” The ability to re-order regular lists is also eliminated with the recent update it seems. I’m partial to moving things around as I plan them, and I very much miss the drag-to-move feature. For me, this downgrades the app a bit, but it is still solid in all other areas.

Any.do: To do list & Reminders

Can't color the labels

I am trying to add different colors to the labels on the pro version but the screen won't let me. The reason I upgraded to pro was for the label colors
Terrible app. Was charged for nothing. Who would pay $60 for a calendar
by Roselindemann on 2019/11/17 20:18
Terrible app. I cancelled the subscription and was still charged $60. This is a useless app to me. I want my money back ASAP. I have no way of getting a hold of these people. 🙄 please contact me immediately
Doesn’t remind me

App force closes

iPhone 11, app is force closing every time I open the settings and it’s not linking to the iWatch at all.

Crashes on Apple Watch

Lags. Crashes. How is this app getting all 5 stars?
by J-Note on 2019/08/27 01:59
Bought premium.

Just starting...
by UncleJSag1981 on 2019/07/24 16:14
Got the app today, and it’s just what I was looking for! I love how it works with my calendars. Can I share my tasks with family members who have the app?
Love this app
by DyannD on 2019/07/21 14:00

It’s ok
by jsrichmond5 on 2019/04/14 15:32
The best thing about the app is it’s connection to Alexa and Siri so I can add to my reminders and lists in one place and on the go.
Thanks!
Small text
by plking on 2018/10/06 12:57
Hate the newest update.
