Any.Do is The Best Way to Prioritize My Work
by Eric in Franklin TN on 2021/01/15 13:06
I have been using any.do now for over six years. I have tried many other applications to help me organize my to do list and set priorities. Any.do allows me to quickly move items from category to category and up and down within categories so that I can organize my daily tasks around high priorities. This allows me to stay focused on my most important priorities and related tasks so that I do not get distracted into activities that are less effective. We all have a temptation to check items off our list for the satisfaction that brings. Checking the right tasks off the list, even if fewer tasks get done, is much more important than the volume of tasks. Any doubt do allows me to sortAnd shuffle multiple times a day to keep me focused. I fact that any.do syncs with my email account, my slack account, and my calendar, and can be used on my phone and laptop, makes it a tool I can take and use anywhere. I highly recommend any doubt do to anyone who wants to get things done.
Great for keeping list, not so great at reminders
by eacoeytaux on 2021/01/11 23:06
UI is great and I love this app for keeping various lists of things long term. However, it constantly fails to remind me of events and requires I open it on a daily basis or else the notification numbers simply disappear, which is how I know when I have something coming up. I'll keep using it as a list keeper, and I wish I could use it as a general todo app but unfortunately I need an additional app that can reliable notify me of scheduled events.
Excellent, BUT....
by skyhaus on 2021/01/11 16:28
Love this app. Especially the daily review process. However, I now need repeating projects (or at least repeating lists - as they would be "projects" in this app). SO, I must go (to Things3) until you have repeating lists or projects implemented (if ever?). Also, would be awesome to be able to delineate tasks or sub tasks within lists into labeled sections. And pie in the sky wish -- move the notes area up to sit under the title of the task or list. Notes describe what the list or task is. They should be further up. UPDATE: I know there are recurring tasks. But that does not help when you need an entire list (project) with multiple tasks (preferably grouped into sections) to repeat weekly or monthly.
Amazing Application and even better Customer Support...
by TuckRiles on 2021/01/11 02:13
This application does every single thing you will need to plan your day, week, and month. However the customer support will go to extreme lengths to assist with any errors or technological issues. I can’t thank Tali enough for the correction of the mistake Apple themselves made...
Great for Organization!
by User 92728 on 2021/01/10 15:17
Love this app! It is a very simple format and uses notifications to remind you of undone tasks. You can turn off push notifications, but the notifications on your Home Screen are very helpful.
This is very well made
by bk_oh2309 on 2021/01/08 14:51
I really like the feature where any.do asks you to cut down tasks for the day. I can tell the devs that made this wanted to inspire good behavior and this has helped me immensely. There is a lot of features and it’s almost too much at first. But that adds versatility to this app. Very well done.

Great app. Great customer service
by Husky leopard on 2020/12/24 05:13
I’ve been using this app as my main to do app for 2+ years. It has everything I need to plan and stay on top of my tasks. UI is simple and intuitive. Customer service was great when I contacted them with a Google login permissions issue. They followed up with me when I took a while to respond to their questions, and helped me to resolve the issue.
Repeating tasks don’t remind and they disappear
by JanuaryOyster on 2020/12/13 14:35
Reminders for repeating tasks stopped even though they showed that they were supposed to when I opened to look at the details. I tried resetting each of them again and the times showed up next to them in the main list view but after marking them done for the day, they all stayed marked out and did not appear on the next day’s list. This morning, my day is completely blank even though the details of each item show that they should repeat and there is no end date. I got this app to replace Apple’s Reminders app because tasks I’d mark out would continuously reappear and now I have the opposite problem. I also had an issue where marking repeating tasks completed on one device didn’t mark them complete on any other. This app at least solved that problem but obviously, I’m not going to keep creating the same tasks day after day.
Great app!
by Igsteff on 2020/12/01 02:25
I love everything about this app. I have all my list and things to do organized. They have made it simple to keep track of everything even stuff you need to do a year from now. It has everything I need! I thought when I did the update it had deleted everything, gave me a small heart attack by the way. I had clicked on restore transactions and nothing happened, but then , I closed the app and tried it again and in finally worked. So no harm done. Thank you for such a great app.
No enough info
by Rachel Colorado on 2020/11/30 15:25
I cannot justify the cost unless: the event create inputs are more similar to Google cal with multiple reminders including a reminder via email, and much more intuitive and helpful input for event. Also, i cannot easily find info on website that tells where my data is stored! and privacy issues. I want to store my own data locally, not your cloud. The description says it doesn’t support Family Sharing but then below in App Store it says it does. For this price, you should reward longer time users by each year cutting the cost further.
Couldn’t get past front pages
by Humblecashier54 on 2020/11/25 13:28
I downloaded the app to try it out. After I signed in I could not get past the screen that has the paid offers. It would not let me hit “No Thanks.”

List title

I’ve just changed to iPhone, how do I make the title of the tasks go above the tasks when I sort it as list instead of time? This way it can divide the tasks?.

So close to being everything you need, but just isn’t yet
by Aaron Bedolla on 2020/11/15 19:42
The most recent update adding dark mode is a huge plus, and it’s a great app that just seems like you’re missing a few things. It integrates with a bunch of other apps but only through Zapier which is disappointing. The desktop version is OK. It does get the job done, and it has the potential to be the best “to-do” app, but lacks in some areas. 4 stars for me because it does get the job done.
missing features
by JPY on 2020/10/30 10:44
a recent update now hides a lot of previously free features behind premium paywall. A reminder for a notification came up, i went to snooze it but all the preset options required me to have premium purchased. I’ve since migrated my lists & to dos elsewhere & no longer have the app installed.
I love this app
by go handy Andy on 2020/10/27 15:13
It’s really simple and easy to use, what I need to know is front and center.I enjoy how easy it is to say it to my calendar and make alarms. The note function helps as well.
AMAZING

About to lose my mind, so the app keeps me on track
by nobodyhas this name on 2020/10/25 05:56
I use the app for lists like what oil each of the cars use, recruiting prospects, etc. I want notifications for some of my tasks but not all. All in all, the app is pretty easy to use and good for most recurring tasks. I had the “moment” notification on. Once the developer indicated how to Turn that feature off, I was happy. The moment feature reminds you to use the app each day.
Crashes occasionally
by Jimthgetv on 2020/10/22 05:00
Has been crashing while changing list items. Not every time but enough to be annoying and cause me to worry about losing stuff. It also does not integrate with Alexa no matter what I try. Not sure if that’s an issue with this app or Alexa but also frustrating. It does integrate well with the app for windows pc and my Apple Watch. One thing I’d change about the watch app: while using it as a complication on the watch face screen it would be great to show how many tasks you have remaining for a specific list, like just your work list or your personal list. You could still have the default everything list as one of the options. It would help people to compartmentalize being able to work on one list at a time instead of feeling overwhelmed with everything from various lists. Fix the bugs and integration issues that you have control over and I’d gladly give it five stars. The change to the watch app would be a major bonus and so helpful!
Advertises premium even after you pay for it
by Nathan_Dahlberg on 2020/10/20 15:41
I cannot delete the ‘Upgrade to Premium’ task under the Today list. Every time I close and reopened the app it reappears. I already pay for premium and would like to remove this task permanently.
Todoist is way better
by bigdaddy920 on 2020/10/20 06:24
App is less bloated, more powerful features
widget update
by Dryermage on 2020/10/19 19:28
You guys used to know how to keep up to date. The old widget used to be better. You were able to have a Calendar in the widget center with all your tasks and events compiled into one widget. Now it is just 7 widgets non of which are the original calendar widget.
Used to Enjoy it
by WisAnnie on 2020/10/19 19:01
Somehow, every time you improve it, the app gets worse. Stop it! You’re making it harder to use. KISS method - keep it simple, sweetie - will get you much better usage, in my opinion.
Didn’t work for me..
by Murclan on 2020/10/19 14:17
Sometimes the app would tell me a task but not always so I missed things often. Also I hate not having to be able to set a reminder after I see the initial task. I just deleted the app when it freaked out and kept giving me a notification to look up the tasks today (didn’t have any) but the notifications came every 10 seconds until I deleted it. Wish I switched to a different app a long time ago!
Nothing special for big price tag!
by Fabiano74 on 2020/10/17 16:46
The basic version does what any other app will do. To pay $5 plus is insane.
just *one* thing
by clairelyu on 2020/10/14 16:26
I honestly love this app, I’ve been using it over a year and it seriously helps me keep my life straight. The *only* thing I would really like to see is some representation of the Tags on tasks when in the calendar/checklist view. Since the tags are color-coded, it would be really cool to maybe just have colored dots next to each checklist task or something like that. Implementing more obvious representation of the Tags would immediately take this app to a solid 5 stars for me.
Great app, syncs everything well, definitely recommend
by Dausman007fan on 2020/10/11 20:22
I’ve had a premium account with Any.do for a while now. It syncs all my calendars and my reminders together in one place, love it! Had an issue with my recurring reminders last month, and they found a bug in their app and were able to fix the bug. Very pleased!

Waste of money.
by JW58! on 2020/10/08 23:31
Alerts for recurring reminders don’t always go off. Occasionally they disappear and have to be set up again. Nothing works during the day until you open the app up. Locks up when you try to integrate with Apple reminders. Contacted customer service, no response. I wasted my money on this one.
Widget woops
by rene.flores on 2020/10/08 17:51
The new widget is unresponsive, does not sync with lists in the app. I went through their trouble shooting steps and nothing fixed it. Wait to download app until they fix these bugs.

by ashjohnson103 on 2020/09/24 01:01
Tried a bunch of different to-do apps before using any.do and the user interface definitely worked for me. Would recommend to give this a try.
Much faster now
by Mistersexy on 2020/09/18 18:01
Thank you for fixing the calendar! I remember when I first downloaded version 5.0 the calendar portion was so slow the entire app was pretty much unusable and I had to turn off the calendar permissions. It is now working very smoothly and I may switch over to using any.do’s calendar instead of the apple cal (I love the agenda view!)
Canceling
by rkoehk12 on 2020/09/17 23:35
I am upset because I purchased the premium to connect to a friend and son regarding tasks. The app will not allow me to invite anyone? I had no problems when I purchase the app in the past. I let go of my subscription because I didn’t need to connect with others, but I do now. If this can’t be fixed, i would like a refund.
No sorting by time
by macpatrick22 on 2020/09/17 01:41
If I add time stamps and then view by time it won’t sort. That’s not acceptable. If it does have that functionality then it’s hidden.
Easy, simple but with good integrations

Great app. Use it every day
by AstroJoe on 2020/09/11 20:07
Support team at any.do is great. Issues with sync between iPhone and iWatch apps now working great! Great app for keeping organized on the go and syncing across all devices. >>>> Issues below from review last year all addressed. Sync between iPhone and iPad now works well. Great job! >>>> Good features but current version has a bug. Sliding tasks to re-order them becomes very slow. Closing and re-starting the app temporarily cures this. A fix for this issue in the next version would be great. An HD version of the app for the iPad and also one an app for the PC would be awesome.
Love this app, Watch app doesn’t work properly
by John Fogelman on 2020/09/11 11:31
The complication for the Apple Watch says all done and a task underneath it. It’s also very slow to update.

Needs a Snooze option
by Big Dyce on 2020/09/07 15:07
Love this app, but I really need a snooze option. Sometimes I have task reminders pop up that J can’t get to right away. Would be great to have the option to push the reminder back an hour or two or three or even a whole day. I can do this with the Due app. Guess I’ll stick with that until Any.Do get this feature.
Easy logic to use and interface with.
by edgy14u on 2020/09/07 02:06

Google Calendar doesn’t sync
by GuydReview on 2020/09/06 22:34
The app is very intuitive which I really love, however after going through all of the menus and settings I couldn’t find anywhere to sync my Gmail calendar. Which for me is going to be a nonstarter
Buggy lately
by Chuck DT on 2020/09/05 11:46
I don’t like the look of the new update. Also recurring reminders aren’t working correctly. I’ll set them but the next day the reminder is gone. Can’t read calendar without a magnifying glass. Wish they could improve on that instead of changing around the list on the task page. I pay a subscription for this but thinking to cancel it now.
So far so good
by Rfarley77 on 2020/09/04 22:46
I’ve only been using it for a few weeks and I just upgraded to a premium account. I would have given a 4 star rating but I feel like the app could have & do more. It does a lot of the things that I already get with the ”Reminders” app that comes as part of the Iphone’s IOS (Internet Operating System). I like the app. I just wish it would set itself apart from the other reminder/calander apps. Otherwise it's a very solid and reliable app.
So many bugs

So many bugs with setting recurring reminders. Missed a credit card payment thanks to this. Deleting.
Infuriating unusable UI
by AIHReview on 2020/09/03 00:44
Yes the UI is pretty, but there’s so much white space on it that it’s virtually unusable. On your phone a list shows only eight or so items and lots and lots and lots of blank space. It’s very difficult to sort items as a consequence because you can’t see the whole list. Unfortunately, the online interface is just as bad. I love the fact that it integrates to Alexa, but for things like grocery lists, the app is worthless

Didn’t Work
by Jgilbert4444 on 2020/08/31 14:30
So I wish I could write a review but unfortunately it crashes on load. I just downloaded to ‘give it a shot’, checked if it would work which it says it does for iOS version 11 and above. I downloaded, tried opening, nothing. I restarted my phone and try to second time still the same result. Went to their support and literally the only guidance it provides is uninstall and reinstall. OK. I’ll give it a whirl. Still nothing. Tried a second and third time, nothing. However, loads fine on my iPad but I’m hesitant to proceed in supplying my information (login) when I can’t get it on the device I use most.
No longer syncs w Alexa
by redl0tus on 2020/08/30 13:51
I’ve had this for over two years and I would give Alexa voice commands which would add things to my Any.do list. It no longer works. Before you ask me to submit a bug report or contact support you need to go view the awful reviews with this same issue posted in the Any.do skill in the Alexa app. It no longer works this is not an isolated issue. Fix it.
Subscription-based Rip-off
by mburr03 on 2020/08/29 16:01
The app is clearly designed to lure you into a trial subscription which they intentionally make difficult to cancel. Customer Service becomes unresponsive or directs you to portals that aren’t accessible from your phone. Never mind that the service has limited functionality to begin with. There are much better options available that don’t lose information (a rather important quality for a to-do app), endure long periods of downtime, and have inconsistent user experiences across platforms.
Apple Reminders Broken Integration
by JDavis227 on 2020/08/27 13:53
Been using this app and started to make it my primary calendar and to-do app. But then all the sudden it absorbed all my Apple Reminders and they are no longer on the Apple Reminders app. I need those back as there were catalogued to-do’s that are very important for me to have. How do I get those back?

Does not connect to Amazon Alexa
by EndUser#1 on 2020/08/23 16:01
I have been testing ToDoist and Any.Do. Both similar, except Any.do does not connect to Alexa voice commands. I’ve contacts both Amazon and Any.do but neither companies knows how to fix. It’s an ok app on its own but, for me, Todoist wins given its integration with Amazon voice commands.

by marriotjm5 on 2020/08/06 15:18
Seems like a great app, but it won’t even let me sign up for premium. Hopefully the app is not super buggy. I click on “continue with premium” and nothing happens. I’m open to trying it, but I’m skeptical if they can’t fix something as simple as that. Also, I’ve tried to contact support (and they’ve even asked me to reach out because of this review), but their response time is 4 whole days! That feels like a long time. It may be longer than usual right now, but I’m surprised they can’t prioritize a request. Or get a response in 24 hours.
Used to be my go to
by Kennyfletcherjr on 2020/08/04 13:28

Bring full view calendar
by RoxLuna15 on 2020/07/29 21:36
I love the modern look but the most important feature I need is a full view monthly calendar and not just the dots in place for events. I’d like to see what I have written and not just in drop down view!
Why the update???
by 2slow2bi-curious on 2020/07/29 13:19
This *was* a good app. However, the update rearranged things and made it not as user friendly. I can’t move through the lists easily. Too many useless options. I’m deleting the app and finding a different, simple to-do app.

Crashed twice in a month. Could not access anything. It’s a little Expensive for premium and it took me an hour to figure out how to cancel. It’s very well hidden. Good luck finding it if you don’t want your cc charged automatically
LOVE THE SMART Filters in July 2020 update

I can now give Any.do 5 brilliant stars with the addition of “the next 7 days” Smart Filters & listing tasks by time. Thank you!
Recent Update
by CI3PH3R on 2020/07/18 02:59
I do not like this recent update to the interface. My lists which used to be visible are now hidden in a sidebar. The ability to drag and drop tasks to these lists is no longer possible. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to continue using this app.
Don’t mess with what’s working
by Martin.USA on 2020/07/17 21:56
This app was fulfilling how I manage my todos and lists. As of the recent update the user interface does not group items by their lists. You can only see either 1 list at the time or if you click on all items, you will get all items without any grouping so it’s just a ramble list of stuff. I can’t believe how you can make a change like this. It clearly indicates that you do not appreciate how important details are and gives me very low confidence that this will ever get right. There is a reason why big companies like Microsoft push little companies out. Not because their product is better, but because they understand not to deprecate features or important matters without some other way of offering it back. I will cancel my premium subscription as I have no faith in the company behind Any.do
I replaced Wunderlist
by zzipper0005 on 2020/07/17 21:55
I replaced Wunderlist with this app and it’s terrible. It’s not intuitive and assumes how I want to organize my lists incorrectly.
sharing failed
by steph620 on 2020/07/13 19:12
was excited about this app after seeing glowing reviews. just installed this app last week and was mainly planning to use it to share a grocery list with my husband. not only could he not view the list after accepting the invite to view the list from his email, but each time i tried to share it with him, the app duplicated each and every item in my list! i tried to share the list at least 5x and even attempted it while having his phone and my phone side by side. not sure i can waste any more time on it after the app failed us on such a simple thing as sharing a list.
I love this app!!!

Any.do uses the Facebook SDK to presumably track its users
by grantavery on 2020/07/11 19:05
What the heck! I’m glad you’re disclosing this now (via notification on 7/10/20) so we can all know why the app crashes, but there is no good reason for you to be using Facebook’s SDK. UPDATE: I’m glad Any.do doesn’t use the Facebook SDK for analytics, but I still wouldn’t recommend using FB’s system for any part of your infrastructure. Their motto is literally “move fast and break things”.
Reliable and minimalist

I’ve been using this app for 8 years and love it. The updates are great and the platform is very intuitive. Would definitely recommend as a reminder/calendar app

App keeps closing after 5 seconds

Don’t waste your time
by JessOrt on 2020/07/10 11:32
I downloaded this App two days ago, and it was working great. I spent the time updating my tasks and adding my calendar. Now, the app keeps crashing. I re-installed it on my phone, and no go. Def not worth the time and effort. I now have to cobble my tasks for the days from random scraps of paper. Thank you Any.do for the headache.
Can’t delete this crap
by big time regret on 2020/07/08 19:42
I downloaded it and tried to delete it. Now it keeps coming back every time I restart my phone. I can’t get rid of it. It’s like a corrupt file. Beware. UPDATE: I read the developer response. I can not delete it. It keeps coming back. I know how to delete “any other app” that’s not a virus. This icon keeps reappearing every time I turn my phone off and on.
HATE the Auto-full Date Feature!
by dzigndiva on 2020/07/07 00:51
This new Autofill date feature when I spell out a day ie) Tues or Fri - it removes from my description is TERRIBLE! I like seeing the DAY before my list item & it just wont let me do it anymore... PLEASE FIX THIS so there is an option to KEEP the words!! PREVIOUS REVIEW: Love this app because it's so easy to update! Whatever u don't cross out today becomes today the next day so you never have to redo your list & items just move with swipe down & cross off with swipe right... Simple as that!!!

Very good integration with IOS
by FuzzyUsh on 2020/06/29 21:39
It looks like the app has been getting lots of negative reviews lately, but I’m pretty happy with it so far (I have a very specific use for it though). I pretty much use it for integration with the IOS Reminders app. I love that any.do syncs with my IOS Calendars (which IOS Reminders does not-UGH!) and I can see and check off my tasks from the any.do calendar. So far, it’s been working seamlessly with the Reminders app. This app provides me with everything that’s missing from IOS. Thanks!! PS For what it’s worth, I appreciate that they respond to reviews. Makes me think they’re actually listening to their customers.
Committed to pay-for product and now sad I did
by skisnkeys on 2020/06/27 22:18
I was following the overall rating of this product and moved to it from another task/calendar product. I am at a loss as to why this product would get such high marks. - Calendar functionality is meager - Unsophisticated UI design for simple things like modification of information (once you add a task the only way you can change it to repeating is to delete and re-add it. REALLY?!) - Task organization is puzzling. Upcoming is sorted in no particular order which makes it difficult to plan out beyond two days. In addition, this company is subtly misrepresenting it’s web-based product by posting on its website what looks like a fully functional calendar with a very subtle “coming soon”. Come on guys, who are you kidding?
Misleading calendar support
by Ancillas on 2020/06/25 03:36
This app does not directly support Gmail or Outlook calendars. Instead it relies on the iOS calendar integration. This is significant because to connect iOS to a work Exchange or Outlook 365 account, you must accept their security and remote device management policies. Allowing these often means certain settings on your phone are disabled (like disabling the lock timer on your phone, which I use when cooking). It also grants your company’s agents the ability to remotely wipe your personal phone which puts your data, like personal photos, at risk. In my opinion, Any.do should directly support common calendar API’s using a custom sync engine and remove all reliance on the iOS calendar system. Also, when editing a task, the font size is ridiculously huge. I can’t believe I have to scroll left, and arduously long task in iOS, to edit a single sentence todo. Shrink the font size so I can drag and drop the cursor at the place I wish to insert an edit. Edit: The developer responded and I appreciate that. I do still think the landing page at any.do/calendar is a bit misrepresentative. It displays prominent images for Google Calendar, iCloud, and Exchange and includes this language, “Always know what’s coming next on your agenda. Any.do works perfectly with other calendars such as Google Calendar, iCloud, Outlook, and more. It’s the best calendar app to help you regain control over your busy life.” There’s no asterisks or disclaimers stating that a phone is required to use this functionality. I think that potential customers should be aware of this before they make a purchase.

The best planner by a mile @_@
by Juno Gold on 2019/07/09 12:59
Really though; for me, feature set is everything. I want tools and I want them to all play together under the same umbrella/ecosystem. - W/ the addition of Focus mode just recently, we now have an app that offers most if not all of the useful task tracking features present usually only across separate apps - AND the ability to choose one, hunker down and get it done in a guided way within the app. I won’t dock a star for it, but I do wonder if the “Forest growing” method for focus tracking is actually more useful to the mind than more traditional pomodoro. - I recently switched from using an app like this focus mode - “stay on task, grow trees, grow a focus forest” to using a more simple pomodoro, but I’m definitely excited for ANY style of focus feature because let’s face it, that is the HARDEST part about task management. No other app has taken this into consideration to my knowledge and this is a big step I think for the standards of productivity apps.
Terrible
by LittleMissMeow on 2018/03/05 03:21
I use to really like this app until the recent update. I can’t get my activities to go to the designated place like I use. I am on the hunt for something else. I don’t know why developers mess with a good thing! Support contacted me but I can’t put anything back like it was. Very aggravating! The new update really messed up a good thing! 🤬Until this is fixed I won’t rate this anymore than a one. To the developer - Please stop trying to contact me. I have been in touch with your people trying to see how my issue can be fixed. It should be simple. It takes forever for anyone to get back to me. I shouldn’t have to pay to have someone help me faster. If the people who help with this app responded as fast as they do to people posting reviews things would be great! I haven’t heard from anyone in two days on the issue I would like fixed. Apparently I have angered someone. I get a response every time I edit this review. These people keep sending me the same response daily. Too bad they don’t contact me to help me the issue I have! I have been waiting and all I get is this response to my review. Forget this app and get one that the developer will assist in helping if you need it. It’s March 4th and still nothing worth noting from this app developer. That should show anyone what their users mean to them. Find a better app with people that actually want to help their customers.
Convenient, Easy 2 Use, Siri & Alexa
by tonguetwizted on 2018/05/28 15:47
I’m not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Well, obviously they feel they had a bad experience, I just don’t agree & haven’t had their problems. I received an Echo Spot & tried this app when I saw it listed as working with Alexa. I like that the app made connecting with Alexa, Calendar, Reminders, etc very easy. I have had no problems. It works with both Alexa & Siri, nice clean interface, always sends my reminders, integrates my calendar no matter where I enter my event/reminder (through Alexa, Siri, Reminders, or Calendar), sub tasks works great, & I haven’t had any lagging. I love the ‘plan your day’ thing, very easy, intuitive, & useful! I’m not running this on a new iPhone either, a very full 6s+, & I have not bought a subscription. It does sometimes open slow, but only when I have a bunch of apps open so it is my phone not the app. This hasn’t completely replaced Things app since nothing (for me) does projects like it, but I no longer use Things for everything, pretty much just business projects. So far this has been a very useful, easy to setup, & easy to use app that does what it advertises, also working with both Siri & Alexa.
a couple tweaks needed to an otherwise perfect app
by Michayla18 on 2019/11/02 13:19
This is so close to being the ideal calendar/to-do app. No other app that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot) has done as well at integrating to do lists and a calendar. There are a couple things that would make this absolutely perfect, though. I really like having the monthly view with the dots showing which days have events, but I *really* wish the agenda view below it would scroll. It’s more difficult than it should be to move between dates in that view, especially when I’m trying to find time for an appointment far in the future. And this seems like a hard thing to do, so I’m not docking any stars for it, is being able to say or type, “meet Mom for dinner at 7 PM at restaurant,” and then having the app put all that information where it needs to be. Instead, the user has to type all of that in the individual date, time, location, and description fields. I’ve tried other apps that have this feature, and it is so convenient. But I’m guessing the tech behind it is pretty complex.
Great planner app!
by HuskyGirl0416 on 2018/02/27 01:14
I really like this app, it helps a lot! I got it going into high school because I’ve always been terrible at writing in a physical planner, and saw it suggested in a story I’m subscribed to on snapchat. One problem, though... I feel like you have to pay for too many features. I know the developers need to make money, but I think they should maybe make some more features available for those who don’t want to us money on the app. I really like how simple it is and easy to use. Anything that needs explaining is covered when you first open the app! 😄 I use this a lot. It helps me remember what I need to do for homework and it also helps me not procrastinate because it reminds me to do things I need/want to do. It also helps that I have a visual to-do list. If you have problems remembering things you need to do, if you’re a procrastinator or if you want a planner, but don’t like having to buy one every year, I highly suggest this app.
A must-have app! LIFESAVER!
by LisaxCummings on 2020/04/10 13:05
This app has made my job far less confusing, chaotic, and frustrating! I am an organized person naturally, and I write everything down! But notebooks make me crazy because they are hard to keep organized without a bunch of things crossed out and arrows pointing everywhere! This app allows me to write down what needs to be done, organize it by project, make priority levels, etc. It also works as a calendar to alert me when certain things are due. And I LOVE that I can mark something as complete, and it goes to the bottom so I can track my progress! And maybe the best part is that it’s online-based, so whatever I add to my list through my phone gets added to my list on my computer! So I don’t have a hundred sticky notes and scrap pieces of paper with notes written on them all over my desk. I always have my phone on me, so I can pull up the all and add stuff in a second! This is the app that I have always wanted!
Not working - now fixed
by XChris32 on 2020/04/26 16:19
I downloaded this yesterday, paid for the version with the bells and whistles and spent time inputting my tasks and meetings. It looks great. Unfortunately, by the end of the day, it had frozen and now it will not open. It freezes while trying to open and then just shuts down. I’ll give it a couple days to see if the programming can but fixed, but otherwise I’m cancelling quickly to avoid losing money. It’s a shame, the format (for the first 4 hours) was fantastic. Update to my prior review: IT reached out and has been very responsive over the last week or so in trying to fix the crashing issue. They updated the software and the crashing problem is resolved! I have this app on my iPhone and iPad. The goal is to get rid of my paper planner, and this 100% has me on my way. Truly a great app to stay organized with tasks and calendar. Thanks for the help, IT!
Great app except for the task list glitch
by MarianneNL on 2020/01/26 20:45
My sister and I love this app. We mainly use it for the shared task list for when we do grocery shopping. She can add to the list, and I’ll get a notification for it. And she’ll get a notification for when I check off something. However, there’s been this weird glitch. I would try to add things to the list, but it won’t always show up. It may show up on her end, but not mine and vice versa. Or she’ll check something off on her end but it’s still on my list and vice versa. There was also a glitch where she sent me an invite to a list but it wouldn’t show up on the app. And I kept getting notifications and emails about this invite for a couple of days before it finally showed up in the app and I was able to join. I’ve been having more problems than she has. I finally got fed up and deleted the app and reinstalled. I’m hoping this will fix the error. Other than that I really like this app.
Best planner app out there
by Chisaray on 2017/11/09 02:45
I've tried so many apps to manage my life, and this by far is the best I've found to help maintain my long to do lists and crazy calendar! Some suggestions for future releases: 1) a button on the calendar that brings you back to "today" quickly. I've found that the only way I can get back to the current date when I'm adding tasks far out is to re scroll through the entire calendar again. 2) in the all tasks section, have the upcoming tasks ordered automatically by date instead of by order of when you added the task. It makes it hard to manage to do's via. that list when it's all out of order. Both minor, but would be immensely helpful in my daily use! Keep up the great work :)
This used to be great—now overly complicated
by Angry Uber Customer on 2020/01/20 20:07
This used to be awesome—by far the most streamlined way to share different to-do lists with different people and have everything checked off in real-time. Simple, foolproof as long as you had an internet connection or cell signal. They have since added so many additional layers of “functionality” and ways of organizing things that my husband and I now struggle to be sure we are actually looking at the same grocery list. I nearly threw my phone across the room in frustration just now because the same grocery list we have been using for years in the app now looks entirely different for each of us and no longer seems synched, so we spent a bunch of time texting to make sure he was able to pick up everything we need while I was at work(so, I am having to text extensively while at work when I already put a lot of time into the list earlier today). It’s a real shame, but I will probably have to move on to find another solution.
Efficient Way to Organize my To-Do Lists
by anomelie on 2018/10/31 18:29
I use this for my To-Do list every day. I used to keep paper lists that I’d have to scribble on and re-write when they got messy. This app keeps everything organized, and if I don’t plan to do something until later, I can put it out of my mind until then, because I get a reminder on the specific day of the task. I can have less on my mind, knowing that everything is accounted for & that it’ll come up on my list as it needs to. The only down side is not being able to adjust to a custom date when using “Plan My Day.” (“Someday” is not a helpful category because I’ll just forget to do it without a reminder, so I end up choosing “next week “ even if what I want is “in ten days,” then in a week I have to choose “two days from now” and then in two days choose “tomorrow” if I’ve forgotten to go in and adjust it from the other screen.)
Drag to sort is my favorite feature
by Savychoosyshopper on 2018/09/25 18:25
It’s why I chose this app out of many choices. This responsive dragging feature does not appear to be an option in the new designated Grocery list. Here’s why it’s useful to me: suppose I need carrots, onions, lettuce, eggs, brown sugar, bread and cereal—and I’m thinking there will be time to go to Costco and Trader Joe’s. So, I drag-sort into grocery sections by likely stores, as I’ll probably get carrots, onions, maybe bread etc at TJ’s or I’ll end up with too much food to get through before spoiling. But I want the entire list in view as might run out of time and just get that 5 lb bag of carrots at Costco, make soup or juice with the excess. And, I can sort the grocery items by area of that produce department (ie apples, pears, citrus found together as are onions, potatoes, garlic, shallots, etc) so I’m not zipping into that chilly (Costco cooler room!) area more than once. Please preserve this lovely feature.
Strange todo app
by Quark Gluon Plasma on 2020/04/03 03:02
This app has opinions. It thinks integration with everything is good, especially if it’s an app or service of dubious utility, or run by data pirates after plunder. It thinks grocery lists are by far the most important lists, and you should be able to get to them quickly from any screen. It has lots of features, but I’m not sure what they do. There’s a tag feature, but you only get one tag without paying $36 a year, and I can’t figure out how to filter with it anyway. Help is no help. There’s a focus mode but that’s premium too, so I don’t know anything about that. There’s icons all around the periphery of the screen, and some of them do things. You can look at your todo’s sorted by date or by project. There’s a panel on the left-hand side which lists projects (and grocery lists!) in big rectangles. It’s probably no fun if you have more than 6-10 projects. Oh, Projects may be lists. Or maybe some lists are projects. It’s all so hard. And pricey.
Great UX, DON’T BUY Daily Planner”
by Ryancccccc on 2020/01/10 05:53
PSA: This is a thoughtful review, both potential users and the app’s team should note it. Before anything bad, I’d like to say their organization and interface is awesome, it’s clean and logical, at least to how I think about task doing. BUT they try to fool you into subscribing to their “Daily Planner”... please do NOT do this. Once you use it once on the free version, you’ll notice that it doesn’t do ANY planning for you, it has you pick the time for the task manually (although it has some preset options)... so.. you’ve entered in the task, you’ve manually set it’s time.. why are you paying $5 a month ?? @ Developers, what should have been done here was use the same preset options: Morning, Noon, etc. then take those preferences and use them to organize the tasks into time slots. May not fit into user’s preferences perfectly but it could be really good. You were literally so close to making something awesome and worth real money but what you made was literally pointless and actually a burden to anyone who clicks a preset option for more than 1 calendar event because they need to go in and change that. BTW, is that not false advertising? I mean it is NOT a daily planner, you provide all of the planning information. In summary, great app if you’re not paying. App devs, hop on an AI tool to do the planning.
Best to do app, but...
by mimimamomo on 2018/12/04 22:46
I upgraded to pro just because I do use this app all the time and want to help the developers keep being able to develop the app. I like this app the best out of the few major apps I tried out before. Other than supporting developers, the upgrade is pretty pointless. I thought at least being able to take pics as attachments could be useful to me, but the attachment function is terrible! It forces you to fit pictures into a square, and if you zoom in in the picture you can’t move to either side of the image. It just stays static. I want to use this to take pictures of handwritten notes or anything, really, but the cropping constraints render it almost totally useless!! Please update this! Honestly I’d update this rating to four or five stars and recommend the upgrade if this attachments issue were fixed.
I cannot get things done in life without this app.
by StuartIgherighe on 2020/04/17 08:34
Terribly efficient, all-in-one solution for my productivity needs - love it! I just love this app. Your phone is always right there so this a convenient way to keep all those thoughts about things you have to do moving out of your head to a place you can capture it, my calendar meetings are easily accessible so I always know what's coming next. This app is the best way to keep it all organized. Then when you want to print things or organize it differently than you can do it on your phone, just move to your desktop! I also love the way to move tasks back and forth on your phone, just move with your finger. You have to give this app a try.
Doesn’t really flow.
by Chefclean on 2019/08/09 13:17
I downloaded this app for one reason only. It works with Alexa. Ok, I said, ill give it a try, so I got it and signed up for a month of premium ($5.99) The rest of my morning was spent trying to figure the app out. After the first three crashes, it smoothed out. The UI is simple, white back ground- no Dark Mode. You have the ability to change the font color. The screen that allows you to show all of your calendar and to dos is a scrolling clunky mess. You can get this view from any app on the market. On the To Do side, adding them is simple- not by keyboard shortcuts, unfortunately (like CMD-N) Adding repeating events is very clumsy (this feature is only available with premium) The repeat automatically defaults to the present time with no way to edit this and you cannot go into a task and edit it to repeat- this has to be done during the initial task set up. On the to do page, it gets worse. In one view (on iPad) on the left is a list of My Lists- which cannot be edited- cannot remove a list..I turned off Apple Reminders, yet there is still a box there, unused, that I can’t get rid of. There is another tab for Tags, which are color coded. Nice, but when you add a tag to a To-Do, you only get the color- not the label for the tag in the To Do view. So, this is about as far as I got with this app. I’m not happy with all of the little “quirks” and weirdness of it. Deleted it.
I really find it beyond frustrating!
by I. M. B. R. on 2017/10/17 04:37
I am looking for a ToDo app & it's like a big secret what the prices are for each app. If it's out of my price range why do I have to read all the info & reviews & still don't know the cost of it. If you are not ashamed of the price put it upfront so users can decide whether they want to spend the time on reading about it. I am a very direct person-sometimes too direct. I apologize for taking my frustrations out on you. I finally figured out how to find the prices...I still think it would be much more helpful to those of us looking for the right app to suit our needs to see the price right up front. It's so time consuming to search thru so many apps. But back to my apology. I saw that you are the best kind of app designer who answers anyone who has a question & promptly. Just the kind I wish I was dealing with now. I have experienced dealing with the opposite kind & its very frustrating. Some never answer you ! Kudos to you!
I cannot get things done in life without this app.
by ZuhiraxMakari on 2020/04/10 13:10
The speed & simplicity has made it so easy to add & track tasks from moving across the country to delivery times for food at work events. Repeating tasks are more flexible in this app than any other I’ve tried, and the natural language input makes it a breeze to create new tasks. Over the years I’ve used this app, it’s seen continuous improvement and added every feature an old review I left had listed as reasons I relied on multiple apps. The premium features are worth every reasonably-priced penny & the Apple Watch app is top-notch. It continues to be one of my most-launched apps!
It’s ok
by jsrichmond5 on 2019/04/14 15:32
The best thing about the app is it’s connection to Alexa and Siri so I can add to my reminders and lists in one place and on the go. However, the bells and whistles stop there. I paid for the “premium” version with the misunderstanding that it would have a more robust calendar function. It doesn’t. The only difference with the calendar is that you can change colors in the premium version and that is hardly worth the money. I need to have tasks and the calendar in a single app, and while it does this, there are much better apps for such integration. Not being able to see a day at a time or have alternative calendar views is the greatest weakness in this app for someone looking for an integrated task/calendar organization system. It would seem like an easy fix for an app with so much potential. I will not be buying the premium edition if I continue to use it at all.
May finally be giving up on this app
by Lyss87 on 2018/04/03 13:08
I really want to love this app. I keep it because I see such potential. However, the bugs that never really get fixed drive me insane. When I click on something I have to re-click because it doesn’t usually work the first time. When I move the order of the lists, a second later they are back to the original order. When I try to click to turn off the alarm notification I have to click multiple times before it takes and it usually causes another action that I didn’t want to happen. I considered it may be that I have the free version but other reviewers with the paid version have the same issues based on reviews. So I for sure am not going to risk losing money for the same issues to keep happening. I regret that I may have to start all over with another app which is a hassle since I spent so much time curating my lists onto this one. 🤦🏽‍♀️
Can’t log in. Can’t reset password. Useless!
by Lkuosbgtfjebwustvrvdkuc on 2018/04/21 15:17
I added this app as a skill for my Alexa Dot, and wanted to be able to use it across platforms so added the app to my phone. I was very excited that I would have something simple to add things my ADHD brain would have difficulty remembering. Too bad I can’t even log in! I use my phone’s password generator and with all of the security and privacy issues lately with Facebook I refuse to even consider using that to authenticate an account. When I try to come to the app to log in it tells me my email address and password do not match. So I tried resetting my password. It emails me a link that literally takes me to the login page! I tried it twice. Same thing happened. Can’t reset the password. Can’t log in. Completely and totally useless. I will continue my quest for an app and skill that can be used across both platforms because clearly this is not it.
This app keeps me organized when all other apps failed!
by TXbusyMOM5 on 2018/07/07 15:59
I am a mom with 5 kids and have to stay organized. I use my Apple calendar along with my entire family so I need something that will sync with it. I have tried every todo/task list available and there is always something that is so disappointing it leaves me searching for another app. However, with this app, I haven’t had that problem so far. I have been using it for about a month now and I am happy so far. There are some additional features I would like, which they do offer in there monthly subscription. Overall I am very satisfied with this app which keeps me organized when all other apps failed and syncs beautifully with my Apple calendar.
Frustrated loyal customer
by joyfulnoise82857 on 2018/10/08 12:20
This has been my to-do list app for the last year and a half. I have created/deleted/shared many lists. But within the past 2 months the syncing issues are getting in the way of my love for the app. I’ll be using my phone for days at a time- only to log onto my desktop version and find 15-20 undone tasks that I completed days beforehand. Lists shared between family members aren’t syncing anymore either. The only fix is to uninstall and reinstall. Every time. The grocery list needs work. I want to be able to drag and drop my groceries into other aisles. Again, more sync issues here too. If you have someone you share your grocery list with, be prepared for sync issues and for you both to come home with groceries you thought the other person hadn’t bought yet, since your any do lists didn’t sync 😐 For the record, our grocery lists synced for the past year, these issues aren’t connectivity based on our end. We have never had a problem with this until the past couple of months. I will say that developer support is decent and you will get a response if you submit a ticket. I’m holding out hope for a sync fix because I love this app- but it is a frustrating issue for sure.
Misleading Calendar Integration
by IntensityTX on 2018/08/13 05:03
The app integrates with the calendar on your device, not directly to an email account on Outlook or Gmail. So I had to add the family email and calendar I setup to my iPhone calendar when I primarily use the Outlook app. Despite feature requests for this, the developer has closed those requests on their site stating the feature is complete when what has been added is not what most were actually requesting. On the positive side, the Alexa integration is fantastic. Would like to see more integration with Cortana. Lastly, if there is a way to add a to-do without having a due date or reminder set automatically I haven’t figured that out. I’m not finding it ideal that every grocery item has a reminder assigned to it. Would be nice if there was a way to set a general item list vs a to do list.
I could successfully delete this app free of subscription!
by AR9516 on 2018/01/13 11:20
1- If you want to choose different colors for tasks in the calendar, you should have to pay a lifetime monthly subscription! 2- The app imported all my tasks in reminder app and put them all in Today's category. And I had to delete more than 100 unwanted ones by sliding one by one as done tasks. No way to select and delete them together were found. 3- I don't know why app developers follow the fashioned way of asking for such subscriptions instead of selling them (when you can purchase a software/app there's no logical need for lifetime payment without any continuous particular service. Same as shopping a Microsoft Office software and use it forever). 4- With such circumstances I should appreciate it for letting me feel free to delete this app less than 10 minutes after installation and without having to pay subscription.
Great app but missing some stuff
by reviewed in detail on 2018/01/16 07:58
It’s 5 stars for how easy it is to use and yet how satisfying and helpful however it’s missing something unless I just cant find it. It’s the only thing keeping it from being perfect and its the fact that your lists while they technically are “checklists” I feel much more accomplished when I have it set to have a checkmark beside it rather than a line scratching through the tasks. There are many apps out there that let you switch between swiping out a task or having a checkmark beside it and its a small gripe but when I’m a subscribed member this is something that bothers me as it’s show on the app display pictures but isnt in app.
Just started but I know it’s gonna work
by LOLZ<3LMAO on 2019/12/25 17:29
I’m just getting started because I want to be more organized for 2020. I already like how it is a planner, calendar and has reminders all in one + Siri and verbal notes I can leave myself. Unlike others using apps like this, I have been using three separate apps as calendar, reminders and tasks to do for years. I just never thought to use one app with all of it together. Now I am starting about 3 businesses online and still working 8-5 until the businesses actually are profitable enough to leave the 8-5. This definitely what I need.
The More Things “Change”
by SongsAboutMusic on 2019/02/11 22:35
Yet another update in a tiny window of time (seems to be around once or twice a week) with the same standard cookie cutter iOS 11 explanation (“Sweeeet”) .... I’m all but positive these devs are mining data; they’re definitely on some BS, this app isn’t worth anywhere near a subscription at all, much less one so expensive. Don’t believe the hype. Don’t support this rapacious and predatory business model (cue dev misleading reply about “service“). The only reason it’s still on my iPhone (already been bounced from the other devices) is because I haven’t had a chance to transfer my data (been using this app for years, which should speak for its trajectory) to the other (just as useful if not more so) app(s) with more reasonable developers (sure, it’s been harvested several times over at this point but I don’t think they plan on being very forthcoming with/about it).
Missing a couple things + bug
by BuycottTrump on 2018/01/23 16:55
I LOVE the “moment” feature so I keep coming back to Anydo to see if the missing features I need have been added. 1. There needs to be a way to see if a task has subtasks, notes, etc WITHOUT having to click on the task. Things get missed because I don’t know more info is associated with the task. 2. Moment needs to cycle through every single task. It seems to skip a lot of them. I end up doing the moment process multiple times to see everything. Also there may be a bug... I could not get the app to open today after I updated it. -1 for bug and -1 for missing features. Will update when fixed. If these two things were added and bug fixed this would be a 5 star app!!
Unreasonable Customer Service
by Accafan7 on 2020/04/23 15:39
I paid for the pro subscription because I thought it would do (simply) what I needed. It did not, and therefor I never used the app. When I reached out to cancel and have the amount refunded (during the pandemic mind you), I explained I never used the tool and that it did not do what I’d hoped. Here is the only response I received - “Per our TOS and as stated on our Help Center, we can only issue refunds for subscription payments that occur within 48 hours of your payment being processed.” Basically, they aren’t willing to do anything to help me (even though I’m certain they could). I prefer to work with companies that are willing to have a human approach to these situations, not companies that want to hide behind their terms of service as an excuse to take me money for nothing. I will never be recommending this company to clients again.
Has a few quirks, but overall is very useful
by Assisi Capri on 2020/06/08 18:40
For some reason, every Friday at midnight, it puts quite a few of my tasks from Upcoming to Tomorrow and I have to drag them back to where they go. Also when grabbing and dragging a task down, it will get stuck and stop moving the task. Then I have to find where the task got stuck and start dragging it again. Then it gets stuck again. It does this several times and is worse when dragging down than when dragging up. Other than that, it’s great. Easy to use for keeping organized and keeping track of tasks. It has a list mode and a calendar mode which is helpful. Even with the quirks, I’d recommend it.
Not bad, not perfect
by BRWinter on 2020/01/02 01:47
I like this app. I use it daily. But the interface on the iPad version gives me fits - trying to set a recurring task there is a nightmare. The “daily-weekly-monthly-etc” buttons take up so much of the screen that you can’t see the other options to set them. I get that this is mostly designed for use on a phone, but a lot of the time I’d rather do my organizing on a tablet where I have a keyboard. (Yes, there’s a version for the Mac. I’ve long since given up on using it.) Not sure I see the point of porting something to other devices if you can’t use it properly. That said: if you’re just using it for a to-do list on your phone, it’s a very good app for that.
Don’t buy this app!
by MandaBerger7 on 2018/04/09 20:57
I made the mistake of purchasing a year subscription of this app and I am so mad at myself for doing so. I need something that works seamlessly between my phone and my laptop to keep tasks in order for work and it has been insanely frustrating trying to make that happen. The browser app deletes my reoccurring tasks EVERY TIME I complete it for a day. Some tasks just give themselves a new due date that I definitely did not assign them, and I can’t tag or share tasks with my team without those disappearing as well. I’ve emailed support numerous times and the same person responds days later with no solution. I don’t even think they are understanding the issue at all. Horrible customer service and horrible waste of money. I wish I could get my money back as well as the hours of frustration caused by the inadequacy of this app.
Used to mostly work, now unusable
by tsnix on 2018/12/17 07:50
I’ve used the app for a few years now. I learned early on not to rely on its reminder notifications, because most of the time they don’t work (especially on repeating tasks). However, other than that, it was pretty useful. In the last couple weeks, though, it has become so buggy, it’s completely unusable. When I mark a task as done, it crosses out like it should, but then it just stays in place instead of moving to bottom of the list. When I press the X to remove it, nothing happens. I have to either switch to a different screen (say, the settings) or force-close the app and reopen it before it will update the list. When I added some new tasks recently, it took a couple tries before it actually saved them. And now I just realized that some of my tasks have disappeared entirely. I have about a half-dozen tasks that repeat every Monday. They were all there last week, but, as of today, all but one is completely gone. I hate to think what I might have put in there a while ago that might be gone now and I won’t even realize it until it’s too late. I don’t need an app that forgets the things it’s supposed to remind me to do. I can forget to do things all on my own.
Room For Improvement
by Maddie Brignac on 2019/06/13 18:27
This app is great! I currently use the free version, but might even upgrade to premium. The only thing I have to say is it is somewhat difficult to pinpoint the day you want the event on. This would be an easy fix though. Simply just allowing the user to set a date for the event and a separate reminder. Multiple reminders would also be very helpful. Also, in calendar view, the dates are a day off. For example, in the calendar Fathers Day is on Sunday June 16, 2019, but on the list below it has it as June 15th. But even if you click on the event, it’s still listed for the right date. Once again, a simple fix. Other than that, this app is great!
Not bad, much better than vanilla Reminders
by I'm ashamed on 2018/08/02 21:32
I am seeing some bad reviews by people that say the latest version has issues. Since I just installed it a few days ago and sharing it with family devices, we think it’s great. It’s a much more elegant Interface with much more functionality than just your vanilla reminders app that comes with iOS. Yes, with a combination of the Calendar app and the Reminders app you get much of the same functionality, but not all. Plus the interface is significantly better. Great for families. I am only giving it four stars the moment because we’ve only used it for a few days, but I think we’ve touched all the functionality and I will upgrade or downgrade as needed.
One of the Best Calendar Apps
by gkennedy125 on 2019/11/25 03:19
This app seamlessly combines calendar events with to do lists. It combines Apple calendar, google calendar, Apple reminders, and many others in one covinent place! I love this for college, I can make assignments as tasks and pick what day they are due well in advance while having blocks for class time kept in my calendar. I also love that you can “check off” items! My only critique is that once you have marked tasks as completed and the day has past you can’t see the tasks anymore...I would love to be able to scroll backwards and see when I submitted past assignments for reference in the calendar view! Overall pretty happy!
I miss some old features, but I really like the new color-coded tagging system
by SomeGirl1999 on 2018/08/30 03:27
I really miss the old “moment” feature where you could drag and drop tasks onto a time chart. You could resize the blocks for how much time they would take. This feature used to really help me realistically plan how much I could get done in one day. They canceled the feature and now the “moment” feature works differently. I really miss how it used to be. I hope they can add it back someday. However, one new feature that I really like is the tagging system feature so you can add your own color-coded tags onto your tasks and define what each tag means to you. For example: you can have a tag (red tag) that means to you “this takes 3 hours or longer to complete.” So you know not to plan a lot of stuff that’s tagged red. I personally also added: (yellow tag) = “this task takes 30 minutes - 2 hours to complete” (Green tag) = “this task takes 15 minutes or less to complete.” You can also tag stuff like (blue) = “social” Or (grey) = math projects for college.
So excited to find this app!
by TennisMomma on 2019/03/11 01:58
Such cool features! Especially love the list order can be based on which grocery store I’m in!!! Also sharing with the family helpful when one of us in a store - they know what’s needed. When we shop together, it makes dividing and conquering the list so much easier since we see what each other has scratched off the list! Uploading recipes is a fun feature and being able to add ingredients to grocery list from recipe is handy. And again..easy to share with the family. No more excuse...”I wasn’t sure what to do tonight” 😉
Constant discrepancies between shared lists
by JacksonRahl on 2020/01/11 14:32
My wife and I both downloaded this as it works with Alexa for making a shopping list and the list is nicely broken up by category. I unfortunately we’ve had nothing but annoying issues for the past 6+ months keep hoping an update would eventually fix the problems we’re having as I really wanted to like this. Unfortunately there are CONSTANT sync problems and discrepancies with the list. Things added via Alexa randomly don’t show up, or something added and visible on the computer won’t show up on the list when looking at it on the phone or my wife will add something I don’t see. Disappointed. Might come back if they ever get the sync function to work but after 6+ months of use, the headaches are just plain not worth it.
Great app!
by Igsteff on 2020/12/01 02:25
I love everything about this app.
Review update:
by fuzzy ears on 2018/11/17 19:09
Super happy with this app. It has become much more intuitive to set tasks and change dates/times when needed. THANK YOU! Old Review:I am really upset about the recent update, which removed the ability of the Plan My Day feature to utilize a daily/hourly calendar with plenty or options to organize and move tasks around and defer to specific calendar dates. It has instead reverted to the old, basic, dot progression, which allows for moving tasks only to “tomorrow”, “two days”, “next week”, and “someday”. I will not be renewing my Premium subscription when it expires if nothing is changed.
Switching back to Wunderlist
by Drej08 on 2018/01/09 15:35
As much as it pains me to write this, I have to switch back to Wunderlist ONLY because I've had so many issues syncing tasks across platforms. I love the fxnality of the app, but what good is a task list app that doesn't at it's core track your tasks no matter the device. I just had an instance where my tasks weren't synced between my phone and MacBook. Signed out on my phone, then signed back in. The app showed the tasks that I have on my MacBook but then deleted the tasks I had only on my phone. If they can solve this issue I'd be likely to switch back. Might even sign up for premium. If you're a user with only one device, this might be the app for you.
Gets the job done.
by K. Seales on 2019/10/02 23:54
I do really like this app. I’d only change a few things. The new calendar layout is hard to navigate and doesn’t always update with the correct month. It starts off with showing the week by default. I liked it better when it used to be the entire month. The second thing is since I got an iPhone 11 pro, whenever I’m editing a task, there isn’t enough padding in between the top of the screen and the bottom shade so it’s hard to close out of the task your editing in. Small things but it would make my life way easier if they were fixed. Thanks!
Mostly good but some frustrating parts
by norcal185785 on 2019/07/08 13:54
There are a lot of features that should be able to covert back and forth between formats. For example I want to create a grocery list and was trying to figure out the app so I clicked on something and it put the grocery list in my to-do list instead of keeping it in the grocery list section where it separates it into food categories for you. There is no way to fix it so I am stuck with a messed up format that I should be able to easily change back. There are a few other things where once you switched it to see what it does, you can’t switch it back. Be careful
Make sure it has what you need before you pay
by skyfranks on 2018/02/21 16:05
The free version doesn’t let you do much so I went ahead and paid for the subscription. However, I found out shortly after paying that a key feature I’ve used in task managers for a long time was missing from this application. That feature is to schedule a recurring task out a certain number of days upon completion of that task and not by the original date it was due. This was a dealbreaker for me so I ended up going with Things 3 which offers that feature, instead. So just to be sure to ask up front if the features you really need are available before paying.
Glitchy
by llktech on 2020/02/23 10:31
This app has tons of potential but glitches with iPhone 11. Consistently auto enables alarms and sometimes won’t let you rearrange your lists. I tried to let them have enough time to fix it, but I’m moving on to something better. *update for developers : Auto alarms cannot be disabled, if they can it’s glitched and auto enables anyway. The real issue is that when you try to turn the alarm off, half of the time it doesn’t go through and you have to resubmit it multiple times - occasionally you can’t turn it off at all. The list rearranging bug I experienced yesterday WOULD NOT LET ME REARRANGE A TASK AS I NEEDED. The alarm removal glitch accompanying issues rearranging tasks is enough for me to use a different app. I have this months and it still has issues!!!

Advertises premium even after you pay for it
by Nathan_Dahlberg on 2020/10/20 15:41

widget update
by Dryermage on 2020/10/19 19:28
You guys used to know how to keep up to date.
Implementing more obvious representation of the Tags would immediately take this app to a solid 5 stars for me.

by JW58! on 2020/10/08 23:31
Alerts for recurring reminders don’t always go off. Occasionally they disappear and have to be set up again. Nothing works during the day until you open the app up. Locks up when you try to integrate with Apple reminders. Contacted customer service, no response. I wasted my money on this one.

I am upset because I purchased the premium to connect to a friend and son regarding tasks. The app will not allow me to invite anyone? I had no problems when I purchase the app in the past. I let go of my subscription because I didn’t need to connect with others, but I do now. If this can’t be fixed, i would like a refund.

by AstroJoe on 2020/09/11 20:07
Support team at any.do is great.

Guess I’ll stick with that until Any.Do get this feature.

by Chuck DT on 2020/09/05 11:46
I don’t like the look of the new update.

I have been testing ToDoist and Any.Do. Both similar, except Any.do does not connect to Alexa voice commands. I’ve contacts both Amazon and Any.do but neither companies knows how to fix. It’s an ok app on its own but, for me, Todoist wins given its integration with Amazon voice commands.

Recent Update
by CI3PH3R on 2020/07/18 02:59

I will cancel my premium subscription as I have no faith in the company behind Any.do

sharing failed
by steph620 on 2020/07/13 19:12
was excited about this app after seeing glowing reviews. just installed this app last week and was mainly planning to use it to share a grocery list with my husband. not only could he not view the list after accepting the invite to view the list from his email, but each time i tried to share it with him, the app duplicated each and every item in my list! i tried to share the list at least 5x and even attempted it while having his phone and my phone side by side. not sure i can waste any more time on it after the app failed us on such a simple thing as sharing a list.

Awesome App!!
