Flight inaccurately indicates canceled

Since two app updates ago, a flight purchased several months ago shows canceled. I should also add the flight also indicates canceled on my laptop. Customer service says it is not. Each rep has very nicely directed the problem to my end in their “bless your heart” voice. For example, restart my phone or clear the cache on my computer. I’m not computer illiterate. I use two every day 8 to 12 hours a day. I also tried querying for the confirmation without logging in on both my laptop and cell. Very frustrating..... I’m tired of these updates that add more “features” than making your customers lives a bit easier with travel planning.

Recent trip. For over 2 weeks cannot view or access boarding passes on the app. Get a “ bummer, somethings not working at this time” message. For 2 weeks? Not much use without passes really
Travel nightmare

Traveled from LAX to JFK and then Rochester to celebrate a very special birthday and my son’s fiancé’s bridal shower. Left hotel at 5 AM for a 7 AM flight. Was notified by Jet Blue on the ride to airport of 4 hour delay, but informed I still needed to arrive at the earlier scheduled time “just in case” they solved the issue. Ended up actually boarding 5 hours later, then towed back to gate for another hour of maintenance work. So, basically spent my entire day in the airport and missed the bridal shower! Ground staff, phone customer service, and flight crew were extremely unsympathetic or helpful. No compensation or apologizes offered. This is the third trip in one year with huge flight delays, and one cancelled flight (unrelated to weather). I’m done with flying Jet Blue. Their customer service has really gone downhill.

JetBlue has been extremely helpful in a very difficult time. I traveled abroad to spend a week with my family and a family member passed away. I missed my flight back home and stayed grieving with them for one more week. JetBlue aided me with travel credit so l could take my flight back home although the funds for that flight had been depleted. Thank you.

Instead of fixing anything, this new update made the app very slow and it keeps freezing. I absolutely HATE it. FIX IT or put it back the way it was before.

I travel with my 9 and 1 yr old sons on a father and sons trip to Jamaica and the baby was so fussy #first time# the flight attendant actually take him and take a seat to comfort him which was super awesome. I wanna say thank you for the service I will always fly JET BLUE/TRUE BLUE.

This APP doesn’t have multi city options like Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. Need to fix it... lots of Apple users out here and Safari does not work with multi city options.

Have been using this app for all my travel needs. I have an upcoming trip and my flight info and points are not there! Tried customer service and they find my flight info but it’s not on the app. Extremely disappointed because I’m traveling with my autistic child and I like to have all my travel info u to date to avoid stress for her. Please fix the app.

I think some work can be done as far as changing and getting seats assigned before your flight checkin period on the app. Other airlines have better app experience. Really like jetblue flight experience overall but app can use some improvements to catch up to others.

I have been using the app since December with no issues. Now I can’t even log into my account. I have reached out to JetBlue many times and it doesn’t seem like anything is getting done. This is very disappointing for such a customer oriented company.

I love the seats you have and the chairs that recline, please keep it that way. I used to love United Airlines because of the same thing. When the new CEO took over he promised a lot of things but he did not come they. He changed the comfort of the seats and passenger comfort was no longer a priority.

First problem: After I book online or through the app, then use the app to checkin or look at my upcoming flight status, it always says I have no upcoming flights. Major bug that needs fixing. The only way I can find out about my upcoming itineraries is if I manually add them to the app. And yes, I’m logged in. Second problem: When my flight had to take off from a different airport I sometimes got notified by the JetBlue app and other times not. People around me were getting notified sooner using 3rd party flight trackers than I was using the JetBlue app. And yes, I have notifications turned ON. 3rd problem: There is no option to print a boarding pass for non technical people traveling with me. I have to take a photo of it and print it out from Photos app. 4th problem: When I get an email to Checkin to my upcoming flight, I click on the link and am not given the option to open in the JetBlue app. So, I Checkin at jetblue.com. However, jetblue.com always tells me there was a problem with my checkin when I click on the option to get boarding passes (final step of the Checkin process). I then have to open the JetBlue app and am able to get my boarding passes. Overall very unhappy with the the app and don’t use it anymore unless I have to complete the JetBlue.com checkin process which fails every time.

The simplest thing to do is to create an account so that I can purchase a flight. While on Wi-Fi, I get an error message saying oops there was an error try again when I tried creating an account. Shouldn’t someone have troubleshooted this when creating the app???

I flew on JetBlue today, and the app just wasn’t cooperating for some reason. I just got a new phone last week, and my phone is perfectly fine besides this app, so I don’t know if the problem is the app or my phone. So I had to go on the browser on my phone to see everything today. I will be flying on a return flight next week, so I hope the problem is fixed by then.

A month ago I got to Logan airport and ask if there were some available seats in the earlier flight. I was told that I could get in for a $75 fee . This is gouging a good paying customer. Very disappointed with JB . I fly quite often between West Palm Beach and Boston .
Can’t get boarding pass

This latest update is broken. I can see my trips and check in, but can’t get an electronic boarding pass. I get the message “Bummer. There was an error creating your mobile boarding pass. Please try again later.” I have flown 3 JetBlue flights in the past 2 weeks since the app update and I get this error every time, no matter how many times or how much “later” I try. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times, logged out and back in again, and even updated the iOS to 12.2 (and deleted/reinstalled and logged out/in the app again after). THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED! There are a lot of other features JetBlue really should add to be competitive with other airlines that other reviewers have noted, and I agree. But at the very least you need to have reliable access to mobile boarding pass, this is an expectation of any traveler today to bypass checkin or kiosks.

The “add a trip” option is not locating my itinerary, however, when upon right scroll, it does appear despite a pop up stating “oops, we could not locate your itinerary” although nothing is editable. Also, is it normal to have an existing itinerary for a flight December 29, 2020 that I never booked? Please fix this bug.

It constantly crashes, so I can not look at my trips or check in. I have to check on the web ( their website still works) and email the boarding. This has been going on for a few days now and no fix in sight.

I’ve used the app many times to book flights and can tell you of numerous incidents I’ve had with nearly each booking. First, after Purchasing a seat with more leg room, I was unable to move my seat in the ‘assign seat’ part of the checkin in process as there was allegedly an unprocessed payment. The app directed me to all 1-800-JetBlue. They told me they couldn’t help and that I’d have to see the gate attendants to remedy the problem. There was no pending payment and this was fixed. Until the next time I flew and it happened again. Literally the same problem, because the app or the system showed that I hadn’t paid fully. Most recently, my flight reservation was cancelled because the app didn’t accept my payment. I was directed by the app to call 1-800-JetBlue. They told me they could not help and I’d had to rebook my arrangements, which I did at a greater cost. Not only did I have to pay more money, I was told, ‘well we sent you an email,’ yet, to this day I still do not see where I was sent a notification email of this cancellation.

If you’re looking for an airline that won’t give you credit for TrueBlue miles you’ve earned, then this is the app for you. If you want an airline that actually cares and addresses problems you report, then I suggest you keep looking. My first experience being denied points occurred March 22, 2017. I booked a round trip fare for travel between Boston/Denver leaving July 9, 2017 and returning July 15. While booking the trip I was offered the opportunity to sign up for TruBlue and have this trip count toward loyalty program rewards. It wasn’t until long after the trip I discovered that JetBlue never fulfilled their promise. I never received a TruBlue membership nor credit for the mileage flown. So sorry – too bad. Not the end of the world. So, I signed up for a second TruBlue membership. I attempted to accumulate my first mileage credits in December 2018. I booked a trip for travel between Boston and Turks & Caicos. The trip to the Caribbean involved a layover in Ft. Lauderdale. The layer was direct. This was a vacation package booked through JetBlue so mileage credits should also have been awarded for the hotel stay. Initially no points were awarded despite several calls to customer service. Finally, 3 months later I got a measly 569 points, which does not accurately reflect the mileage earned. Even the customer service rep admitted I should receive more. She escalated it but nothing ever became on it. Additionally, on this trip the Ft. Lauderdale to Turks & Caicos segment I was supposed to receive an email offering a $75 credit on a future flight. Of course, it was never received despite complaints to customer service. The final experience came earlier this year. For business I travelled to Chicago. The return trip was on JetBlue. Again. no mileage credits. So, after a round trip Boston/Denver, round trip Boston/Providenciales including JetBlue booked hotel and $75 future credit and finally one-way Chicago to Boston I have a pitiful 569 points to show for it. Today is April 1 and I had planned to book another Turks vacation through JetBlue, since that is the date, I was informed they are first publicized for sale. But it isn’t worth the effort trying to unsuccessfully get what I have rightfully earned from Jet Blue. Until someone from Jet Blue corrects their mistakes, I will no longer fly JetBlue. But I won’t hold my breath and am changing plans to travel on competitors that actually award the mileage credits they offer. You may wish to consider the same.

This app did not allow me to sign up for trueblue rewards (I had to do it through the web browser). It did not let me add my current booking (I had to do it through the web browser). I couldn’t add a photo to my profile either—not like that is important, but still goes to show the incapabilities of the app.

I love their app. It is so easy to navigate and find the best fares. I get the best deals here compared to Expedia, Kayak and other apps. They never have the deals the Jet Blue app has. Of course you have to fly to a city they serve. We fly often to Washington DC from Hartford to visit my daughter. We have gotten fares as low as $34 per person. Cheaper than driving or taking the train! Of course you have to be flexible with the times they offer and the return trip is a higher fare usually but they still are pretty cheap. And also we have never had a problem with their flights from Hartford or Reagan and the planes are clean and comfortable and flight attendants and other staff are always very helpful and courteous. It’s our first choice for an Airline! Keep up the good work Jet Blue!
The nightmare of Irma

During hurricane Irma I had the misfortune that I had to fly to California from Fort Lauderdale and it was quite a crazy day that day and Jet Blue took me out we got to where I was supposed to go they only problem was I paid a fortune for my fair is over thousand dollars and I called them up a couple days later explained how it happened that I was charge so much money and they refunded me all at the $99 fare they were offering me similar thing happened on American airlines my husband got a flight on that airline and they did not take off he had to go home and come back to the airport and I called them and I had to send and I had to send a letter and they refused they said they will not refund me the 900 and some dollars so you fly JetBlue if you’re smart.

My experience with JetBlue has always been relatively good. On my flight in July from FLL-Newark we were delayed 3 hours and there was not even a “sorry” for the in convenience... I missed dinner with my family and it ruined that entire evening. The most recent flight I was on was on time etc... BUTTTTTT what is going on with all the animals being allowed without carriers on board????? Besides the 4 or 5 small lap dogs that were on the flight there was a Labrador 3 Seats in front of me- I could not believe it! I am so allergic to dogs and if this dog was sitting in the seat next to me I would have had a huge issue. Dogs , cats etc need to be in carriers if they are going to fly. He was allowed to sit on the seat and then peak over to the sit in front and back- just ridiculous.

I love Jet Blue !!! Staff flight attendants and pilots are all so friendly even when it’s crazy and flight delayed due to weather or any reason . They brought drinks and snacks to gate where we where waiting . Kept making sure everyone was informed updated and always smiling .that was my last trip . The staff at the desk go all out . Jaun saw I was having trouble standing got me wheelchair , escorted me down to gate told me about extra room seats . He always takes care of us and knows us when ever he sees us anywhere in airport . I fly back and forth for medical reasons . Each time he says Lori is their anything else we can do to make your trip easier . The Boston staff is also amazing . Keep hiring people who care . I tried this app for the convenience factor but there is non. First thing that bothers me was ,when you try to and your personal info, they ask for your birthday and a scroll with the month day and year pops up. Cool, wrong NOT COOLl! It won’t let you change the month unless you change the year or days first. Really??? Took me a few mins to figure that out. I was ok with that, but then after I entered all of this information in and agreed to the agreement, BOOM it won’t let me sign up. It says check your connection. So I turned the WiFi off and went straight to LTE, put all of the good ol info in the right places and. DOUBLE BOOM, (sign in failed, check your connection) Fooled me once shame on you, fooled me twice shame on me, you won’t get me again! Uninstalling...

When I fly it’s always JetBlue if they are a carrier where I’m going. It is the easiest process ever to make reservations, get to the airport & get where I am going without stress. I had my first ever horrible experience where I got held up in TSA. I hear customer service calling my name. 3xs they called me with the final call being the gates are closing. I can’t go to the gate. I missed my plane. I finally get to the gate. I explain my situation to Dominic, the JetBlue representative. He was sorry for my distress. He asks if I’d like to fly with another carrier. I said “No, JetBlue is the Best!” He gave me excellent customer service, rescheduled me for the next day’s flight & I was on my way. All JetBlue needs to do for me now is fly into New Orleans! 😜
Can’t get boarding pass

This latest update is broken. I can see my trips and check in, but can’t get an electronic boarding pass. I get the message “Bummer. There was an error creating your mobile boarding pass. Please try again later.” I have flown 3 JetBlue flights in the past 2 weeks since the app update and I get this error every time, no matter how many times or how much “later” I try. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times, logged out and back in again, and even updated the iOS to 12.2 (and deleted/reinstalled and logged out/in the app again after). THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED! There are a lot of other features JetBlue really should add to be competitive with other airlines that other reviewers have noted, and I agree. But at the very least you need to have reliable access to mobile boarding pass, this is an expectation of any traveler today to bypass checkin or kiosks.

I can say that I haven’t flown with JetBlue in over a decade and since I stopped working for them when they stopped flights to ONT, so returning to the airline I was part of after so long had truly shown how much JetBlue has evolved in service, equipment and culture! The service has gotten better, the free extra perks are still free (minus the checked bag allowances), they evolved their A321 cabin and introduced a premium product called Mint and broke from the core cabin layout that they were known for having, and they tacked on some extra fees for priority seating, priority boarding and the premium snacks and beverages. Some of the old JetBlue is in there, just under a new shiny cabin and all still while keeping to the shades of Blue that first flew on the first flight! The App is always updated to be functional and still hip and trendy. Having all the features you do want and none of the features that clutter up an App. Any issues they’re just a tweet or phone call away and always are helpful and quick in addressing any issues or concerns!

We only fly JetBlue. There is only one item we disagree with- and that is the raised price for bringing a pet in a carrier under the seat. Cost to jetblue is zero- I could pay for the seat next to me cheaper than the $125 for the pet fee. Ours is an older well behaved cat. He bothers no one- he seems to enjoy his carrier and sleeps in it at home. My thought is that if a pet becomes a “known traveler” and is consistently well behaved- offer frequent flyer discounts. Fly twice, third is free or something. We will continue to always fly jetblue because we enjoy the jetblue experience- we recommend jetblue to everyone. We would just like to bring Dumbby more often.
Lacks frequent flier practicality

I only recently started flying JetBlue consistently in the last year and while the flying experience is palatable - their mobile app is near useless. I started to write this review prior to the latest update and even after the update previously it had extremely limited functionality for a major airline. The latest update was comparable to putting lipstick on a pig. Cosmetic not functional. The biggest issue is the inability to change seats through the app, view a real-time seat map and view standby/upgrade list. To me, those are the 3 most important features of any airline app. Also it does not show TrueBlue activity only your point balance. The update seems to have improved the freezing and crashing but the app lacks frequent flier practicality of which would be expected for one of the top 4 US airlines. A ways to go.

JetBlue if it were possible for me to give everyone in your company a big hug I would!! You have come through for me so big with last minute travel plans at an affordable price. I am so appreciative of your services. Your flight attendants are super nice and treat everyone like the whole plane is first class. I 90% of the time I book online and it's faster and easier than ordering at Starbucks. The 10% of the time I have to speak with a representative because I have some complicated change that needs to be done same day of travel I always feel like I'm talking to one of my friend's. Can’t get past the sign in screen

I just downloaded this app today and haven’t been able to get past the sign in screen. I tried going through the google browser with the exact same sign in method (touch id) and it’s working just fine. People down load apps for convenience, things available at your finger tips to make check in, boarding passes and all things travel move along smoother. Which would make this app perfect, if only it worked. I see there were just bug fixes performed with a new update yesterday so maybe I’ll delete and download at a later date. Not a good look though also because this was my first experiencing Jet Blue at all per my fiancé’s flying experience with them. He spoke so highly and although my only complaint thus far is the performance of the Jet Blue app...We’re off to a rocky start!!

My dad was traveling September 24 from Fort Lauderdale airport to Quito-Ecuador. He gave his carry on bags to the lady in the counter in Fort Lauderdale Airport Before the flight, when He remembered he has left his new iPhone 8 Plus with the box and everything inside his backpack. He went back to the lady at the counter asked for his bag if is still there to get his phone and the lady told him the bags are inside the plane already. When he got home to search for his new phone the phone wasn’t there. They gave us a phone number in Ecuador that nobody answers, and we asked for help here, and they just told us to call that number. Do you think that people that work there will be honest? and wouldn’t steal stuff inside our bag? And if they do take anything shouldn’t the company be responsible for the stolen items and pay back the customer?

There should be more options of direct flight from FLL to SDQ. That flight being at 5:50 am is way too early!! There should be a flight at 10 am at least!! Also, it would be great if there was a flight from PBI to SDQ, there are so many Dominicans that have to drive down to FLL in order to be able to catch that flight. If someone lives in Port St. Lucie and needs to be 3 hours before their flight to the Dominican Republic ( 3am ) they would have to start driving between 1:00 am - 1:30 am so they can catch that 5:50 am flight. But PBI would be great for all of us that live in Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties!!

JetBlue is literally the only airline I have ever flown consistently and am always satisfied with. I have even had some rough travel experiences using JetBlue and they have ALWAYS made up for any short-comings, above and beyond as well as extremely promptly including putting me up in a 4 star hotel near airport, paying for dinner and breakfast, and changing flight times and dates at no extra charge. I truly swear by JetBlue through and through and I honestly haven’t flown any other airline besides them in the past 5 years. Love em’ and their blue chips and Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. 👌🏼😍💙
Impossible to book through the app

I love JetBlue but it is literally impossible to book a flight through the app. There are two many amateurish bugs throughout. Like in one spot the "phone number" field (required) gets populated by a drop down list of countries, with no way to put in an actual number. In another phone number field, dashes are required but the keyboard that gets displayed doesn't have a dash button. Also, don't tap any of the "info" buttons to see the difference between the different plans - there's no Close button. The only way to close it is to shut down the entire reservation process and start over. All in all just a terrible terrible experience. I tried twice, wasted half an hour, and was never able to book my flight.

The app can be very frustrating when you book a flight. No problem searching for flights and comparing priced based on days. But when you actually book, it gets stuck. Today it got stuck after I entered additional passengers(in the system as part of my family plan). Then I noticed that that TSA pre-check numbers were not automatically entered, although they are attached to our accounts. Great way to prevent a customer from making a purchase! I’ll have to go back and find the numbers on the TSA paperwork or make the reservation by phone, which reduces my points. The app got stuck over the summer when I was making reservations, too. Thought they would have cleaned up the app by now.

Looked for a support / feedback email or form. Didnt find anything on the app itself and the app store link "app support" is useless, so i guess this is the only place I can contact jetblue developers to let them know they need to do better debugging / testing. I have the latest iPad / ios / jetblue app. Got stuck before i could select the seats. Had to go and start all over from my iphone. On the phone once I hit submit on the last step, it refreshed and the submit button was green again, as if I still had to submit it again, it didn't give me a completed confirmation, even though I did receive a confirmation email. So both apps have bugs, they need more testing.

I keep trying to Check in for my connection flights in Boston and New York. my first flight from Detroit to Boston is all set got my boarding pass and everything. but I’m trying to check in for my 5am flight to New York 917 and then my 9am flight to my final Destination St. Maarten 787 to get my boarding passes & the stupid jetBlue app says “we are having trouble processing your request check your connection and try again” EVEN THOUGH MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS WORKING FAST!!!!!! jetBlue you need to be on your A Game when it comes down to situations like this. This is the last time I’m flying jetBlue. I’m never flying jetBlue Again after I return from this trip. I’ve had a bad experience with jetBlue before and it’s happening again the first time was a long delayed flight and now this

I use airline apps all the time to check status, gates, electronic boarding passes. I haven’t traveled with JetBlue for a long time and was optimistic seeing their shiny new app. But sadly it is mostly just frustrating. It’s been years since I have had to use a paper boarding pass. But I have had to do that for 6/6 flights on this trip. Im already checked in, on my last legs of the rerun trip, and the app won’t let me get the electronic boarding pass. Sometimes it says I have to wait until 24 hours ahead to check in (I’m sitting at the gate!) and other times it says that electronic boarding passes are not available for this departure airport (JFK!?!). I’m so disappointed with this app.

JetBlue has always been my favorite airline.I always have comfortable seats good movies to watch and great service. This very last flight I had enough true blue miles to buy my husband’s ticket, so he flew free. Can’t get better than that. I only wish we had the same confirmation number, but I guess that’s not possible when you get a free flight. As a result of different confirmation numbers, I ended up getting TSA approved and he did not. I guess it’s a small price to pay for free flight. I will continue to be a true blue member. Jet blue is the best
Travel nightmare

Traveled from LAX to JFK and then Rochester to celebrate a very special birthday and my son’s fiancé’s bridal shower. Left hotel at 5 AM for a 7 AM flight. Was notified by Jet Blue on the ride to airport of 4 hour delay, but informed I still needed to arrive at the earlier scheduled time “just in case” they solved the issue. Ended up actually boarding 5 hours later, then towed back to gate for another hour of maintenance work. So, basically spent my entire day in the airport and missed the bridal shower! Ground staff, phone customer service, and flight crew were extremely unsympathetic or helpful. No compensation or apologizes offered. This is the third trip in one year with huge flight delays, and one cancelled flight (unrelated to weather). I’m done with flying Jet Blue. Their customer service has really gone downhill.

Have been using the app for a fairly long time but since the most recent update constantly crashes on login. Also if not logged in but adding my upcoming flight confirmation number. App support link just takes you to the mobile site, and contact us links and numbers there doesn’t seem to offer app support. I've tried... reinstalling, updating ios, flushing data, along with all the usual stuff. App works until I either login or not logged in will crash after adding flight confirmation Please help me either obtain prior version or resolve issue.

We have been treated as if we were in first class and we were economy. It started our trip off with smiles and happy thoughts of our vacation and I was traveling with a teenager. So that tells you. How things could have gone! Then I applied for the jet blue credit card on my way here and when money started to get tight I called to see what they could do and they sent the card fed x to my hotel. I still can not believe how well I have been treated. From now on Jet Blue is the only way to travel for my family. Thank You Jet Blue!!

I always use True Blue to fly back and forward from NY to Florida and other places within its locations. I had to recently AA to fly from lga to Miami. I have never been so scared, uncomfortable and disrespected on a flight. I travel internationally as well and this was the worst experience. Firstly the way they board is ridiculous. Hugs pile ups in isle of plane. Didn’t carry many choices of soft drinks. Also to pay a ridiculous price for checked in bagweighing only 40lb. I could go on. But I won’t. Jet Blue I love you. You are the best of the rest.

I always receive excellent service with JetBlue. Today is no exception. My dad has been moved to hospice and we are told he will pass in the next 24 hours likely. I’ve been flying back and forth to help etc., but now my scheduled trip for next week needs to change. I spoke with Dave and he refunded the trip I had scheduled for next week and comped me tickets for my disabled daughter and myself for tomorrow. I’m shocked and so grateful Thank you so much for the kindness you showed my family during this insanely difficult time.

My husband and I have switched from Virgin to Mint since they started service from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles in March. It keeps getting better and better. After my first flight, I sent and answer from a JetBlue survey they emailed me. I spelled out a few things I thought it was missing... socks, priority boarding before all guests, internet... To my surprise, they have implemented them all! I was stunned when I opened my little bag to find socks!!! JetBlue, you are awesome, thanks for listening. Thanks for keeping the minty lip balm too!

Usually this app is great and I never have a issue. I fly very often and always use JetBlue.. but this time the app will not let me do anything at all. I try checking into my flight and it’s saying there’s a issue, I can’t login or make a account because it says there’s a error or something. This is not good, my flight is tomorrow and I always use this app to be prepared and ready because it’s so much easier then going to the counter at the airport.. please fix this!!
Problem with Latest Update

In the latest version (4.1.1), once you checked in for the outbound portion of a reservation, the “My Trips” section doesn’t seem to provide a way to look up the return portion of the reservation (like if you want to tell someone you’re visiting what time you’ll be leaving). Seems like a bad functionality to lose, since now I have to go back and find my original reservation info, either on the JetBlue web site or in my email.

The Jet Blue app is the most intuitive and easiest airline app I’ve used. The only issue I have is Ive attempted to use three different sets of my initials as my nickname for sending this review each time it tells me it’s already being used. So far the only thing I haven’t seen is the digital boarding passes after checking in. I didn’t look after continuing through the app. My hope is my airline flying experience is as good as using the app to check in.
Buggy alerts

I have experienced several false alerts coming from this app that have caused minor confusion at a minimum, and at times full on panic. The latest false alert informed me that my flight’s departure time had been moved up by 1 hour and 40 minutes. I live 35 minutes from the airport so I rushed out of the house and drove as fast as I could through the rain, only to run into the airport at what I thought was 5 minutes late for my new departure time. While I was waiting in TSA, panicking that I had missed my flight, I was informed by a fellow passenger that the alert was bogus, and that the flight was scheduled to leave at its normal time. The JetBlue staff could not explain what had happened. Not only was this frustrating, it was dangerous. I foolishly took chances try to get to the airport that were unnecessary. All other functions in the app seem to work fine, if not a bit clunky. Until JetBlue fixes whatever is wrong with their alerting I would not trust anything this app tells you.

I called a few weeks ago in regards to a $15 voucher I received from JetBlue. After speaking with the agent I was informed that it can only be used towards flights and no inflight service. Bummer. However, the agent then said well “let me see if I can get you some good seats”. She gave me great seats all because of a voucher I couldn’t use. Honestly I wasn’t upset about it, I figured that was the case but thought I’d ask. The agent was friendly and joking around with me! I love JetBlue!!

Edit: rating changed with recent update, my previous comments are no longer valid as most recent update has remedied the problems I was experiencing. Using new iOS11 and app is completely useless. Once opened, it immediately crashes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, logged in and again, immediate crash. I’m unable to do mobile check in or obtain my mobile boarding pass, such a hassle to not be able to use mobile boarding pass in the airport.

It’s an useful app for Jet blue flyers. With online check in to Apple wallet support, to scheduling flight and current status, gate and terminal number and most important things is the rewards system, everything is just awesome. I like the features most that shows the airport map. As a new flyer to a totally new airport it’s so much helpful to have a primary idea. You can even select drop and pickup service using Lyft with this app. Highly recommended 👍
Every time I try to update "my trips" it crashes

This is majorly inconvenient and needs to be fixed. After I attempt to update "my trips" it crashes and doesn't even open until I delete the app and re download it. Please fix (Update signing in first and going "my trips" is what triggers the crash. Strangely if you go to my trips first then sign in then it won't crash. This is still an issue that needs to be fixed.)

Of course I like the convenience of checking in, but buying seats was odd. I tried on different occasions to buy seats for the second leg of my trip, but it wouldn’t let me. The system seemed to treat the second leg as if it were not separate from the first flight, I don’t know. Anyway, I had to wait until check in and as I’d expected most of the good options were gone. I’m glad I was able to do it, but why couldn’t I do it before check in? Of course I should have done it when I purchased the tickets, but I was on the fence at the time. I can’t understand why it had to be so difficult.

Long story short, my flight got canceled and was stuck (for what I thought) another 2 days. Consulted JetBlue via live chat and by the grace of god was able to find a flight only 1 day later...with complimentary upgraded seats...which was still enough time to make it back to work. For my first time ever flying JetBlue they’ve set the bar HIGH when it comes to customer service. Found my new “go to” airline

1) Why can’t i check seat assignments, and change if available? I can do it online. Paying for extra leg room (what used to be ordinary economy space), and my party is stuck in center seats in different rows, i want to keep checking if other seats become available. I should be able to do in the app and not boot my computer. 2) i can print from my phone to my printer. Why am i not given the ability to both print my boarding pass and save to my apple wallet? I have to go to my computer for such a mundane action.

I have been flying this year more than I usually do. So I have used Spirt Airline and I would never use them again. JetBlue has 6 less seats than Spirt. The flight attendants were so happy and it made me feel like they love there job and always wanted to help me in anyway. It is the first airline that I look for when me or my family has to fly. I am committed with loyalty to Jet Blue company because: 1-they have always help me with fly arrangements to accommodate my family needs. 2-they have the compasión and sensitivity during times of distress such as hurricane Irma and Maria. 3-they launches their Humanitarian flights and we’re doing anything in their power to assist the island and their employees. I was at New York for the electric holiday festival and a hurracaine was heading to Puerto Rico the same day I have to go back to the island. I call to the costumer service area and explain the situation to a representative and she helps me to change my flight so easy and fast! That's efficiency and an example of excellent costumer service, I will definitely travel again with this airline. Now I am to my way to my beautiful island 🌴 to take care of the ones I love ❤️. Doesn’t refresh or notify

I thought I checked my flight status but really the app just wasn’t refreshing. It’s not obvious that you need to pull down to refresh, since it looked like the app was thinking. As a result, I got to the airport way too early given the massive delay. Also, even when you do explicitly refresh, it takes forever to update. I have notifications enabled so it’s ridiculous that I even had to check manually in the first place. I finally received a notification two hours later, but by that time, the information was stale (flight time had been revised further). This is too bad because there have been times when the AA app saved me when my flight got cancelled. Since I had the app, I was one of the first to rebook. Those precious minutes can be the difference between getting home the same day versus waiting a day. PS - couldn’t find a place to submit feedback privately in the app so I have to shame you publicly. Maybe you should add a feedback feature

After the “enhancements and bug fixes” update, I tried to book a flight and pick an exit row. I get the pop up of standard safety stuff and the fact that it’s going to cost me an extra billion dollars, along w a close button and cancel button...no agree/continue button. So basically there’s no way to chose the seat I want. While we’re on the subject, when showing your seating chart, why would you have 2 close buttons and one of them complete cancel your navigation and make you start over? You’re not a discount airline anymore, get rid of the tech that makes you seem like one.

The ground crews and flight crews are so great! I usually can get what I need online. I have a flight tomorrow, just checked in...seamless. A little problem with booking another flight next week...I think the poor website was tired and was having trouble with arrival in one city and departing from another over 100 miles away. I’ll resolve today, if not talk to the great ground crew at PBI at 5AM...everyone is on top of their game that early😎😎✈️

This rating is for the APP- the airline and service get 5 stars. But I find app design cumbersome to use. Some times you scroll down and check a box other times you have to look up top to move forward. Would like it if you made moving around the APP consistent. This is not a super big deal but the whole purpose of using an app is to be able to get though the process quicker and if you searching the APP trying to figure out how to maneuver around that will slow you down.

I have been trying to get to PR for about a week. I have a home in Vieques PR and want to help my neighbors, check my home etc. it had been difficult with cancellations and rebooking several times. But throughout the agents have been kind, helpful and understanding. I appreciate their assistance and patience. They have made the frustrating situation less stressful. Thanks to all of them! Since two app updates ago, a flight purchased several months ago shows canceled. I should also add the flight also indicates canceled on my laptop. Customer service says it is not. Each rep has very nicely directed the problem to my end in their “bless your heart” voice. For example, restart my phone or clear the cache on my computer. I’m not computer illiterate. I use two every day 8 to 12 hours a day. I also tried querying for the confirmation without logging in on both my laptop and cell. Very frustrating..... I’m tired of these updates that add more “features” than making your customers lives a bit easier with travel planning.

Travel nightmare

Traveled from LAX to JFK and then Rochester to celebrate a very special birthday and my son’s fiancé’s bridal shower. Left hotel at 5 AM for a 7 AM flight. Was notified by Jet Blue on the ride to airport of 4 hour delay, but informed I still needed to arrive at the earlier scheduled time “just in case” they solved the issue. Ended up actually boarding 5 hours later, then towed back to gate for another hour of maintenance work. So, basically spent my entire day in the airport and missed the bridal shower! Ground staff, phone customer service, and flight crew were extremely unsympathetic or helpful. No compensation or apologizes offered. This is the third trip in one year with huge flight delays, and one cancelled flight (unrelated to weather). I’m done with flying Jet Blue. Their customer service has really gone downhill.

JetBlue has been extremely helpful in a very difficult time. I traveled abroad to spend a week with my family and a family member passed away. I missed my flight back home and stayed grieving with them for one more week. JetBlue aided me with travel credit so l could take my flight back home although the funds for that flight had been depleted. Thank you.

First problem: After I book online or through the app, then use the app to checkin or look at my upcoming flight status, it always says I have no upcoming flights. Major bug that needs fixing. The only way I can find out about my upcoming itineraries is if I manually add them to the app. And yes, I’m logged in. Second problem: When my flight had to take off from a different airport I sometimes got notified by the JetBlue app and other times not. People around me were getting notified sooner using 3rd party flight trackers than I was using the JetBlue app. And yes, I have notifications turned ON. 3rd problem: There is no option to print a boarding pass for non technical people traveling with me. I have to take a photo of it and print it out from Photos app. 4th problem: When I get an email to Checkin to my upcoming flight, I click on the link and am not given the option to open in the JetBlue app. So, I Checkin at jetblue.com. However, jetblue.com always tells me there was a problem with my checkin when I click on the option to get boarding passes (final step of the Checkin process). I then have to open the JetBlue app and am able to get my boarding passes. Overall very unhappy with the the app and don’t use it anymore unless I have to complete the JetBlue.com checkin process which fails every time.

I just got a new phone last week, and my phone is perfectly fine besides this app, so I don’t know if the problem is the app or my phone. This latest update is broken. I can see my trips and check in, but can’t get an electronic boarding pass. I get the message “Bummer. There was an error creating your mobile boarding pass. Please try again later.” I have flown 3 JetBlue flights in the past 2 weeks since the app update and I get this error every time, no matter how many times or how much “later” I try. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times, logged out and back in again, and even updated the iOS to 12.2 (and deleted/reinstalled and logged out/in the app again after). THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED! There are a lot of other features JetBlue really should add to be competitive with other airlines that other reviewers have noted, and I agree. But at the very least you need to have reliable access to mobile boarding pass, this is an expectation of any traveler today to bypass checkin or kiosks.

First, after Purchasing a seat with more leg room, I was unable to move my seat in the ‘assign seat’ part of the checkin in process as there was allegedly an unprocessed payment. The app directed me to all 1-800-JetBlue. They told me they couldn’t help and that I’d have to see the gate attendants to remedy the problem. There was no pending payment and this was fixed. Until the next time I flew and it happened again. Literally the same problem, because the app or the system showed that I hadn’t paid fully. Most recently, my flight reservation was cancelled because the app didn’t accept my payment. I was directed by the app to call 1-800-JetBlue. They told me they could not help and I’d had to rebook my arrangements, which I did at a greater cost. Not only did I have to pay more money, I was told, ‘well we sent you an email,’ yet, to this day I still do not see where I was sent a notification email of this cancellation.

If you’re looking for an airline that won’t give you credit for TrueBlue miles you’ve earned, then this is the app for you. If you want an airline that actually cares and addresses problems you report, then I suggest you keep looking. My first experience being denied points occurred March 22, 2017. I booked a round trip fare for travel between Boston/Denver leaving July 9, 2017 and returning July 15. While booking the trip I was offered the opportunity to sign up for TruBlue and have this trip count toward loyalty program rewards. It wasn’t until long after the trip I discovered that JetBlue never fulfilled their promise. I never received a TruBlue membership nor credit for the mileage flown. So sorry – too bad. Not the end of the world. So, I signed up for a second TruBlue membership. I attempted to accumulate my first mileage credits in December 2018. I booked a trip for travel between Boston and Turks & Caicos. The trip to the Caribbean involved a layover in Ft. Lauderdale. The layer was direct. This was a vacation package booked through JetBlue so mileage credits should also have been awarded for the hotel stay. Initially no points were awarded despite several calls to customer service. Finally, 3 months later I got a measly 569 points, which does not accurately reflect the mileage earned. Even the customer service rep admitted I should receive more. She escalated it but nothing ever became on it. Additionally, on this trip the Ft. Lauderdale to Turks & Caicos segment I was supposed to receive an email offering a $75 credit on a future flight. Of course, it was never received despite complaints to customer service. The final experience came earlier this year. For business I travelled to Chicago. The return trip was on JetBlue. Again. no mileage credits. So, after a round trip Boston/Denver, round trip Boston/Providenciales including JetBlue booked hotel and $75 future credit and finally one-way Chicago to Boston I have a pitiful 569 points to show for it. Today is April 1 and I had planned to book another Turks vacation through JetBlue, since that is the date, I was informed they are first publicized for sale. But it isn’t worth the effort trying to unsuccessfully get what I have rightfully earned from Jet Blue. Until someone from Jet Blue corrects their mistakes, I will no longer fly JetBlue. But I won’t hold my breath and am changing plans to travel on competitors that actually award the mileage credits they offer. You may wish to consider the same.

I love their app. It is so easy to navigate and find the best fares. I get the best deals here compared to Expedia, Kayak and other apps. They never have the deals the Jet Blue app has. Of course you have to fly to a city they serve. We fly often to Washington DC from Hartford to visit my daughter. We have gotten fares as low as $34 per person. Cheaper than driving or taking the train! Of course you have to be flexible with the times they offer and the return trip is a higher fare usually but they still are pretty cheap. And also we have never had a problem with their flights from Hartford or Reagan and the planes are clean and comfortable and flight attendants and other staff are always very helpful and courteous. It’s our first choice for an Airline! Keep up the good work Jet Blue!

During hurricane Irma I had the misfortune that I had to fly to California from Fort Lauderdale and it was quite a crazy day that day and Jet Blue took me out we got to where I was supposed to go they only problem was I paid a fortune for my fair is over thousand dollars and I called them up a couple days later explained how it happened that I was charge so much money and they refunded me all at the $99 fare they were offering me similar thing happened on American airlines my husband got a flight on that airline and they did not take off he had to go home and come back to the airport and I called them and I had to send and I had to send a letter and they refused they said they will not refund me the 900 and some dollars so you fly JetBlue if you’re smart.

My experience with JetBlue has always been relatively good. On my flight in July from FLL-Newark we were delayed 3 hours and there was not even a “sorry” for the in convenience... I missed dinner with my family and it ruined that entire evening. The most recent flight I was on was on time etc... BUTTTTTT what is going on with all the animals being allowed without carriers on board????? Besides the 4 or 5 small lap dogs that were on the flight there was a Labrador 3 Seats in front of me- I could not believe it! I am so allergic to dogs and if this dog was sitting in the seat next to me I would have had a huge issue. Dogs , cats etc need to be in carriers if they are going to fly. He was allowed to sit on the seat and then peak over to the sit in front and back- just ridiculous.

I love Jet Blue !!! Staff flight attendants and pilots are all so friendly even when it’s crazy and flight delayed due to weather or any reason . They brought drinks and snacks to gate where we where waiting . Kept making sure everyone was informed updated and always smiling .that was my last trip . The staff at the desk go all out . Jaun saw I was having trouble standing got me wheelchair , escorted me down to gate told me about extra room seats . He always takes care of us and knows us when ever he sees us anywhere in airport . I fly back and forth for medical reasons . Each time he says Lori is their anything else we can do to make your trip easier . The Boston staff is also amazing . Keep hiring people who care . I tried this app for the convenience factor but there is non. First thing that bothers me was ,when you try to and your personal info, they ask for your birthday and a scroll with the month day and year pops up. Cool, wrong NOT COOLl! It won’t let you change the month unless you change the year or days first. Really??? Took me a few mins to figure that out. I was ok with that, but then after I entered all of this information in and agreed to the agreement, BOOM it won’t let me sign up. It says check your connection. So I turned the WiFi off and went straight to LTE, put all of the good ol info in the right places and. DOUBLE BOOM, (sign in failed, check your connection) Fooled me once shame on you, fooled me twice shame on me, you won’t get me again! Uninstalling...

When I fly it’s always JetBlue if they are a carrier where I’m going. It is the easiest process ever to make reservations, get to the airport & get where I am going without stress. I had my first ever horrible experience where I got held up in TSA. I hear customer service calling my name. 3xs they called me with the final call being the gates are closing. I can’t go to the gate. I missed my plane. I finally get to the gate. I explain my situation to Dominic, the JetBlue representative. He was sorry for my distress. He asks if I’d like to fly with another carrier. I said “No, JetBlue is the Best!” He gave me excellent customer service, rescheduled me for the next day’s flight & I was on my way. All JetBlue needs to do for me now is fly into New Orleans! 😜
Can’t get boarding pass

This latest update is broken. I can see my trips and check in, but can’t get an electronic boarding pass. I get the message “Bummer. There was an error creating your mobile boarding pass. Please try again later.” I have flown 3 JetBlue flights in the past 2 weeks since the app update and I get this error every time, no matter how many times or how much “later” I try. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times, logged out and back in again, and even updated the iOS to 12.2 (and deleted/reinstalled and logged out/in the app again after). THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED! There are a lot of other features JetBlue really should add to be competitive with other airlines that other reviewers have noted, and I agree. But at the very least you need to have reliable access to mobile boarding pass, this is an expectation of any traveler today to bypass checkin or kiosks.

I can say that I haven’t flown with JetBlue in over a decade and since I stopped working for them when they stopped flights to ONT, so returning to the airline I was part of after so long had truly shown how much JetBlue has evolved in service, equipment and culture! The service has gotten better, the free extra perks are still free (minus the checked bag allowances), they evolved their A321 cabin and introduced a premium product called Mint and broke from the core cabin layout that they were known for having, and they tacked on some extra fees for priority seating, priority boarding and the premium snacks and beverages. Some of the old JetBlue is in there, just under a new shiny cabin and all still while keeping to the shades of Blue that first flew on the first flight! The App is always updated to be functional and still hip and trendy. Having all the features you do want and none of the features that clutter up an App. Any issues they’re just a tweet or phone call away and always are helpful and quick in addressing any issues or concerns!

We only fly JetBlue. There is only one item we disagree with- and that is the raised price for bringing a pet in a carrier under the seat. Cost to jetblue is zero- I could pay for the seat next to me cheaper than the $125 for the pet fee. Ours is an older well behaved cat. He bothers no one- he seems to enjoy his carrier and sleeps in it at home. My thought is that if a pet becomes a “known traveler” and is consistently well behaved- offer frequent flyer discounts. Fly twice, third is free or something. We will continue to always fly jetblue because we enjoy the jetblue experience- we recommend jetblue to everyone. We would just like to bring Dumbby more often.

I only recently started flying JetBlue consistently in the last year and while the flying experience is palatable - their mobile app is near useless. I started to write this review prior to the latest update and even after the update previously it had extremely limited functionality for a major airline. The latest update was comparable to putting lipstick on a pig. Cosmetic not functional. The biggest issue is the inability to change seats through the app, view a real-time seat map and view standby/upgrade list. To me, those are the 3 most important features of any airline app. Also it does not show TrueBlue activity only your point balance. The update seems to have improved the freezing and crashing but the app lacks frequent flier practicality of which would be expected for one of the top 4 US airlines. A ways to go.

I am so appreciative of your services. Your flight attendants are super nice and treat everyone like the whole plane is first class. I 90% of the time I book online and it's faster and easier than ordering at Starbucks. The 10% of the time I have to speak with a representative because I have some complicated change that needs to be done same day of travel I always feel like I'm talking to one of my friend's. Can’t get past the sign in screen

I just downloaded this app today and haven’t been able to get past the sign in screen. I tried going through the google browser with the exact same sign in method (touch id) and it’s working just fine. People down load apps for convenience, things available at your finger tips to make check in, boarding passes and all things travel move along smoother. Which would make this app perfect, if only it worked. I see there were just bug fixes performed with a new update yesterday so maybe I’ll delete and download at a later date. Not a good look though also because this was my first experiencing Jet Blue at all per my fiancé’s flying experience with them. He spoke so highly and although my only complaint thus far is the performance of the Jet Blue app...We’re off to a rocky start!!

My dad was traveling September 24 from Fort Lauderdale airport to Quito-Ecuador. He gave his carry on bags to the lady in the counter in Fort Lauderdale Airport Before the flight, when He remembered he has left his new iPhone 8 Plus with the box and everything inside his backpack. He went back to the lady at the counter asked for his bag if is still there to get his phone and the lady told him the bags are inside the plane already. When he got home to search for his new phone the phone wasn’t there. They gave us a phone number in Ecuador that nobody answers, and we asked for help here, and they just told us to call that number. Do you think that people that work there will be honest? and wouldn’t steal stuff inside our bag? And if they do take anything shouldn’t the company be responsible for the stolen items and pay back the customer?

There should be more options of direct flight from FLL to SDQ. That flight being at 5:50 am is way too early!! There should be a flight at 10 am at least!! Also, it would be great if there was a flight from PBI to SDQ, there are so many Dominicans that have to drive down to FLL in order to be able to catch that flight. If someone lives in Port St. Lucie and needs to be 3 hours before their flight to the Dominican Republic ( 3am ) they would have to start driving between 1:00 am - 1:30 am so they can catch that 5:50 am flight. But PBI would be great for all of us that live in Palm Beach and St. Lucie Counties!!

JetBlue is literally the only airline I have ever flown consistently and am always satisfied with. I have even had some rough travel experiences using JetBlue and they have ALWAYS made up for any short-comings, above and beyond as well as extremely promptly including putting me up in a 4 star hotel near airport, paying for dinner and breakfast, and changing flight times and dates at no extra charge. I truly swear by JetBlue through and through and I honestly haven’t flown any other airline besides them in the past 5 years. Love em’ and their blue chips and Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. 👌🏼😍💙
Impossible to book through the app

I love JetBlue but it is literally impossible to book a flight through the app. There are two many amateurish bugs throughout. Like in one spot the "phone number" field (required) gets populated by a drop down list of countries, with no way to put in an actual number. In another phone number field, dashes are required but the keyboard that gets displayed doesn't have a dash button. Also, don't tap any of the "info" buttons to see the difference between the different plans - there's no Close button. The only way to close it is to shut down the entire reservation process and start over. All in all just a terrible terrible experience. I tried twice, wasted half an hour, and was never able to book my flight.

The app can be very frustrating when you book a flight. No problem searching for flights and comparing priced based on days. But when you actually book, it gets stuck. Today it got stuck after I entered additional passengers(in the system as part of my family plan). Then I noticed that that TSA pre-check numbers were not automatically entered, although they are attached to our accounts. Great way to prevent a customer from making a purchase! I’ll have to go back and find the numbers on the TSA paperwork or make the reservation by phone, which reduces my points. The app got stuck over the summer when I was making reservations, too. Thought they would have cleaned up the app by now.

Looked for a support / feedback email or form. Didnt find anything on the app itself and the app store link "app support" is useless, so i guess this is the only place I can contact jetblue developers to let them know they need to do better debugging / testing. I have the latest iPad / ios / jetblue app. Got stuck before i could select the seats. Had to go and start all over from my iphone. On the phone once I hit submit on the last step, it refreshed and the submit button was green again, as if I still had to submit it again, it didn't give me a completed confirmation, even though I did receive a confirmation email. So both apps have bugs, they need more testing.

I keep trying to Check in for my connection flights in Boston and New York. my first flight from Detroit to Boston is all set got my boarding pass and everything. but I’m trying to check in for my 5am flight to New York 917 and then my 9am flight to my final Destination St. Maarten 787 to get my boarding passes & the stupid jetBlue app says “we are having trouble processing your request check your connection and try again” EVEN THOUGH MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS WORKING FAST!!!!!! jetBlue you need to be on your A Game when it comes down to situations like this. This is the last time I’m flying jetBlue. I’m never flying jetBlue Again after I return from this trip. I’ve had a bad experience with jetBlue before and it’s happening again the first time was a long delayed flight and now this

I use airline apps all the time to check status, gates, electronic boarding passes. I haven’t traveled with JetBlue for a long time and was optimistic seeing their shiny new app. But sadly it is mostly just frustrating. It’s been years since I have had to use a paper boarding pass. But I have had to do that for 6/6 flights on this trip. Im already checked in, on my last legs of the rerun trip, and the app won’t let me get the electronic boarding pass. Sometimes it says I have to wait until 24 hours ahead to check in (I’m sitting at the gate!) and other times it says that electronic boarding passes are not available for this departure airport (JFK!?!). I’m so disappointed with this app.

JetBlue has always been my favorite airline.I always have comfortable seats good movies to watch and great service. This very last flight I had enough true blue miles to buy my husband’s ticket, so he flew free. Can’t get better than that. I only wish we had the same confirmation number, but I guess that’s not possible when you get a free flight. As a result of different confirmation numbers, I ended up getting TSA approved and he did not. I guess it’s a small price to pay for free flight. I will continue to be a true blue member. Travel nightmare

Traveled from LAX to JFK and then Rochester to celebrate a very special birthday and my son’s fiancé’s bridal shower. Left hotel at 5 AM for a 7 AM flight. Was notified by Jet Blue on the ride to airport of 4 hour delay, but informed I still needed to arrive at the earlier scheduled time “just in case” they solved the issue. Ended up actually boarding 5 hours later, then towed back to gate for another hour of maintenance work. So, basically spent my entire day in the airport and missed the bridal shower! Ground staff, phone customer service, and flight crew were extremely unsympathetic or helpful. No compensation or apologizes offered. This is the third trip in one year with huge flight delays, and one cancelled flight (unrelated to weather). I’m done with flying Jet Blue. Their customer service has really gone downhill.

Have been using the app for a fairly long time but since the most recent update constantly crashes on login. Also if not logged in but adding my upcoming flight confirmation number. App support link just takes you to the mobile site, and contact us links and numbers there doesn’t seem to offer app support. I've tried... reinstalling, updating ios, flushing data, along with all the usual stuff. App works until I either login or not logged in will crash after adding flight confirmation Please help me either obtain prior version or resolve issue.

We have been treated as if we were in first class and we were economy. It started our trip off with smiles and happy thoughts of our vacation and I was traveling with a teenager. So that tells you. How things could have gone! Then I applied for the jet blue credit card on my way here and when money started to get tight I called to see what they could do and they sent the card fed x to my hotel. I still can not believe how well I have been treated. From now on Jet Blue is the only way to travel for my family. Thank You Jet Blue!!

I always use True Blue to fly back and forward from NY to Florida and other places within its locations. I had to recently AA to fly from lga to Miami. I have never been so scared, uncomfortable and disrespected on a flight. I travel internationally as well and this was the worst experience. Firstly the way they board is ridiculous. Hugs pile ups in isle of plane. Didn’t carry many choices of soft drinks. Also to pay a ridiculous price for checked in bagweighing only 40lb. I could go on. But I won’t. Jet Blue I love you. You are the best of the rest.

I always receive excellent service with JetBlue. Today is no exception. My dad has been moved to hospice and we are told he will pass in the next 24 hours likely. I’ve been flying back and forth to help etc., but now my scheduled trip for next week needs to change. I spoke with Dave and he refunded the trip I had scheduled for next week and comped me tickets for my disabled daughter and myself for tomorrow. I’m shocked and so grateful Thank you so much for the kindness you showed my family during this insanely difficult time.

My husband and I have switched from Virgin to Mint since they started service from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles in March. It keeps getting better and better. After my first flight, I sent and answer from a JetBlue survey they emailed me. I spelled out a few things I thought it was missing... socks, priority boarding before all guests, internet... To my surprise, they have implemented them all! I was stunned when I opened my little bag to find socks!!! JetBlue, you are awesome, thanks for listening. Thanks for keeping the minty lip balm too!

Usually this app is great and I never have a issue. I fly very often and always use JetBlue.. but this time the app will not let me do anything at all. I try checking into my flight and it’s saying there’s a issue, I can’t login or make a account because it says there’s a error or something. This is not good, my flight is tomorrow and I always use this app to be prepared and ready because it’s so much easier then going to the counter at the airport.. please fix this!!
Problem with Latest Update

In the latest version (4.1.1), once you checked in for the outbound portion of a reservation, the “My Trips” section doesn’t seem to provide a way to look up the return portion of the reservation (like if you want to tell someone you’re visiting what time you’ll be leaving). Seems like a bad functionality to lose, since now I have to go back and find my original reservation info, either on the JetBlue web site or in my email.

The Jet Blue app is the most intuitive and easiest airline app I’ve used. The only issue I have is Ive attempted to use three different sets of my initials as my nickname for sending this review each time it tells me it’s already being used. So far the only thing I haven’t seen is the digital boarding passes after checking in. I didn’t look after continuing through the app. My hope is my airline flying experience is as good as using the app to check in.
Buggy alerts

I have experienced several false alerts coming from this app that have caused minor confusion at a minimum, and at times full on panic. The latest false alert informed me that my flight’s departure time had been moved up by 1 hour and 40 minutes. I live 35 minutes from the airport so I rushed out of the house and drove as fast as I could through the rain, only to run into the airport at what I thought was 5 minutes late for my new departure time. While I was waiting in TSA, panicking that I had missed my flight, I was informed by a fellow passenger that the alert was bogus, and that the flight was scheduled to leave at its normal time. The JetBlue staff could not explain what had happened. Not only was this frustrating, it was dangerous. I foolishly took chances try to get to the airport that were unnecessary. All other functions in the app seem to work fine, if not a bit clunky. Until JetBlue fixes whatever is wrong with their alerting I would not trust anything this app tells you.

I called a few weeks ago in regards to a $15 voucher I received from JetBlue. After speaking with the agent I was informed that it can only be used towards flights and no inflight service. Bummer. However, the agent then said well “let me see if I can get you some good seats”. She gave me great seats all because of a voucher I couldn’t use. Honestly I wasn’t upset about it, I figured that was the case but thought I’d ask. The agent was friendly and joking around with me! I love JetBlue!!

Edit: rating changed with recent update, my previous comments are no longer valid as most recent update has remedied the problems I was experiencing. Using new iOS11 and app is completely useless. Once opened, it immediately crashes. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, logged in and again, immediate crash. I’m unable to do mobile check in or obtain my mobile boarding pass, such a hassle to not be able to use mobile boarding pass in the airport.

It’s an useful app for Jet blue flyers. With online check in to Apple wallet support, to scheduling flight and current status, gate and terminal number and most important things is the rewards system, everything is just awesome. I like the features most that shows the airport map. As a new flyer to a totally new airport it’s so much helpful to have a primary idea. You can even select drop and pickup service using Lyft with this app. Highly recommended 👍

This is majorly inconvenient and needs to be fixed. After I attempt to update "my trips" it crashes and doesn't even open until I delete the app and re download it. Please fix (Update signing in first and going "my trips" is what triggers the crash. Strangely if you go to my trips first then sign in then it won't crash. This is still an issue that needs to be fixed.)

Of course I like the convenience of checking in, but buying seats was odd. I tried on different occasions to buy seats for the second leg of my trip, but it wouldn’t let me. The system seemed to treat the second leg as if it were not separate from the first flight, I don’t know. Anyway, I had to wait until check in and as I’d expected most of the good options were gone. I’m glad I was able to do it, but why couldn’t I do it before check in? Of course I should have done it when I purchased the tickets, but I was on the fence at the time. I can’t understand why it had to be so difficult.

Long story short, my flight got canceled and was stuck (for what I thought) another 2 days. Consulted JetBlue via live chat and by the grace of god was able to find a flight only 1 day later...with complimentary upgraded seats...which was still enough time to make it back to work. 1) Why can’t i check seat assignments, and change if available? I can do it online. Paying for extra leg room (what used to be ordinary economy space), and my party is stuck in center seats in different rows, i want to keep checking if other seats become available. I should be able to do in the app and not boot my computer. 2) i can print from my phone to my printer. Why am i not given the ability to both print my boarding pass and save to my apple wallet? I have to go to my computer for such a mundane action.

I have been flying this year more than I usually do. So I have used Spirt Airline and I would never use them again. JetBlue has 6 less seats than Spirt. The flight attendants were so happy and it made me feel like they love there job and always wanted to help me in anyway. It is the first airline that I look for when me or my family has to fly. I was at New York for the electric holiday festival and a hurracaine was heading to Puerto Rico the same day I have to go back to the island. I call to the costumer service area and explain the situation to a representative and she helps me to change my flight so easy and fast! That's efficiency and an example of excellent costumer service, I will definitely travel again with this airline. Now I am to my way to my beautiful island 🌴 to take care of the ones I love ❤️. Doesn’t refresh or notify

I thought I checked my flight status but really the app just wasn’t refreshing. It’s not obvious that you need to pull down to refresh, since it looked like the app was thinking. As a result, I got to the airport way too early given the massive delay. Also, even when you do explicitly refresh, it takes forever to update. I have notifications enabled so it’s ridiculous that I even had to check manually in the first place. I finally received a notification two hours later, but by that time, the information was stale (flight time had been revised further). This is too bad because there have been times when the AA app saved me when my flight got cancelled. Since I had the app, I was one of the first to rebook. Those precious minutes can be the difference between getting home the same day versus waiting a day. Why can’t they get this right?

After the “enhancements and bug fixes” update, I tried to book a flight and pick an exit row. I get the pop up of standard safety stuff and the fact that it’s going to cost me an extra billion dollars, along w a close button and cancel button...no agree/continue button. So basically there’s no way to chose the seat I want. While we’re on the subject, when showing your seating chart, why would you have 2 close buttons and one of them complete cancel your navigation and make you start over? You’re not a discount airline anymore, get rid of the tech that makes you seem like one.

The ground crews and flight crews are so great! I usually can get what I need online. I have a flight tomorrow, just checked in...seamless. A little problem with booking another flight next week...I think the poor website was tired and was having trouble with arrival in one city and departing from another over 100 miles away. I’ll resolve today, if not talk to the great ground crew at PBI at 5AM...everyone is on top of their game that early😎😎✈️
Love JetBlue - APP is cumbersome

This rating is for the APP- the airline and service get 5 stars. But I find app design cumbersome to use. Some times you scroll down and check a box other times you have to look up top to move forward. Would like it if you made moving around the APP consistent. This is not a super big deal but the whole purpose of using an app is to be able to get though the process quicker and if you searching the APP trying to figure out how to maneuver around that will slow you down.
Difficult times made better

I have been trying to get to PR for about a week. I have a home in Vieques PR and want to help my neighbors, check my home etc. it had been difficult with cancellations and rebooking several times. But throughout the agents have been kind, helpful and understanding. I appreciate their assistance and patience. They have made the frustrating situation less stressful. Thanks to all of them!
