I have continuously used Corporate codes for better deals. And the fact that I have to search for specific rooms to achieve credit for my overnight stays and accumulation of points is a complete and utter disappointment and joke. The only one that benefits from this is you. Not a fan since I have been a rewards member of Marriott for several years. I can also take advantage of the hotels offerings such as concierge for a much lower price than what you provide for half the luxury at twice the price. Complete disappointment. Not pleased with your fares or your service.

The only issue is you can’t see the entire drop down reason for booking that particular flight. I didn’t know which to pick because I couldn’t see the entire sentence. On another note, I can’t send this without choosing a nickname which is ridiculous because anything I put in is already taken.

Booked flights that show up on site many different times then get email back after all approvals that flight is no longer available. Shouldn’t show up as option if not available. I would not recommend this travel site to anyone

My company switched to this and we use to use TripIt. This app is extremely disappointing. I have to do so many things manually that used to be automatic. It has built in add (or integration) for uber only. It has a bunch of errors.

It’s certainly not the cheapest rooms, nor does it show you true availability. It is also slower than booking directly through other apps. I only use this app because my company gets a deal... and the people that get the deal don’t actually to the traveling.

Terrible service. It took multiple tries to book my flight. I could easily search on google or bing to get better flight options, cheaper prices and faster booking. It even took multiple tries and more wanted time to write a review because numerous nicknames have been taken. Ridiculous!
App shows flight not approved

I’ve had this issue for some time now, the app always shows that my flight has not been approved and is awaiting approval although the flight has been approved by my manager. I’d always have to go to the website to book my flight after approval. Hope you guys can get this fixed. It’s not easy to select seats on the website using a small screen.

You have to use black magic to clear your notification badge, and can’t at all if signed out. It’s overall slow and isn’t at feature parity with the website.

Every time I try to log in it neither accepts my login through SSO or with traditional username/password info. I have to reset password every time I want to use the app; An unwanted task at 70MPH.

Multi-City functionality does not work well. The flights I need do not come up in the search. But when I do One-Way search for each segment, the flights come up. So I have to book one at time just to get the flights I need, or book directly in the Airlines website because Multi-City works and shows the flights I need.

App locks up. Or doesn’t work at all. Then a day later it seems ok. Customer support not able to determine problem. On two occasions I’ve sat 45-60 minutes trying to get a hotel booked. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Easy and quick bookings. -No car booking, -After midnight date changes, cant book for the same night. Hotel check in 3pm and check is next day 11am. Systeytime should be matching with hotel checkin and checkout times!

As a frequent business traveler, Egencia has become quite frustrating for me. My Marriott Bonvoy number is never listed for stays at Marriott properties. In addition, I am seldom awarded with loyalty points. Unimpressed.

I use Egencia to book all of my travel and hotel for work. It’s super easy to navigate and convenient for me to use. This is probably the easiest travel app I’ve ever use. 5 stars in my book!
Stuck in Portrait Mode on iPad

Developers: an iPad, especially a 12.9” iPad with a keyboard should not have an app stuck in portrait mode. Not usable. 12.9” ipad is for all intents and purposes a laptop. This app is useless until landscape mode is enabled.

This could be a great app, but it requires too much thought and doesn’t have a simple path to book a flight within company policy. The newest update introduced new hurdles that were supposed to make things easier, but are actually necessary for biz. For example, no longer do you need to have your flights approved. Wait, what? Somehow though now ppl have to approve hotels more than a non-refundable flight. It’s ridiculous. I’m surprised a company like Expedia would think this is acceptable. If you’re a small business that enjoys spending your time with Egencia customer support so that they can charge you $24 for operator assistance, by all means embrace Egencia with open arms. If you’re normal and sane, explain to your execs that the $ saved isn’t worth the aggravation and nickel and dime fees to switch to this online option.

The fields that require all numbers brings up the entire keyboard and time phone number fields do not jump to the next while typing. Furthermore, my credit card expires in the 21st century and don’t feel I should be required to type in the 20 in 20xx.

Each place i have to select from a list of choices for hotel rewards, airline rewards, reasons for selecting flights and payment ALL take me making the same selection numerous times before it will record. Also on iPad the app will not change orientation to landscape which is necessary since i use an attached keyboard. Simple things that have been ongoing issues.

While on a trip with little data connection, when I needed to rely on this app most, I was consistently logged out and unable to authorize back in with very little in terms of error reporting. There was no readily apparent way to contact support when I couldn’t log in either. I had to search out WiFi to log into their website to see my trip details. Due to this, I’ll never be able to rely fully on this app, which is too bad.

The challenge I have not with the Apple with the system itself is when you book a flight while you’re waiting approval the flight goes from $370-$998 I know you know may not be able to control that but the system definitely needs to be fixed so that we are not spending all of our time booking flights rebooking flights rebooking flights again because of price changes within 24 hours

This app is difficult to use when searching for round trips on airlines and the mobile version makes it hard to book rental cars. How would it be to save my rental car company preferences? Validation for airport city is awkward also. I am forced to use this app for travel approval.

Easy booking in my opinion. However beware when room States loyalty points will be given on room, half the time incorrect. I put my hotel rewards number in system profile and picked the one stating price includes loyalty points and at check in front desk states no points will be given or 3 days later points not given. I travel a lot and probably missed out on 20+ booked nights not given to my acct. that is just plain wrong! Try it you’ll see be warned though it’s a roll if the dice, lol.

In the early 80’s a travel agent / agency was great, the mid to late 80’s the internet was in its infancy stages, the 90’s came along and more internet options became available, now its 2018 and better options and prices can be found without a third party company. There are certainly lower priced options, why does someone think or can prove this to be a more cost effective means of business? Do I think a reply to this message is in order? Yes, should I expect one? Most likely not! I’ll be waiting for an explanation on why the current policy that is proven to NOT save money or time??? I’ll wait for the day to listen

Back button takes me to login screen every time. They also modify the confirmation code so it’s not the same one the airlines uses. Why? That’s very strange. They never show all of the available seats and more than half the time, my frequent flyer number isn’t on the record.

This field should have some sort of a date format requirement. If you put in the wrong date it does not error out. It shows no issues it just looks as though it does not work and does not process your request.

This app does it all from managing travel for all of my employees....to finding the nicer hotels in each city. Star ratings and hotel reviews display to reduce research time. Booking rental cars and flights is fast and easy. If you need help it’s just a phone call away. It’s like having a VIP travel planner working for me. Great value.
Login is so painful

SSO is painful, not finger print support. Takes several minutes when out of the US for log in loading screen to populate and then fails SSO with multiple retries required. I would use and rate the app highly, but I can’t get access to it. Very frustrating when travel plans are messed up and your trying to use the app on the fly

Hmm...if an app sends me an alert saying it’s time to check in (which I appreciate), that should be an easy task to accomplish—instead, “check in” buried down in the flight details and when I did click on it, the app dumps me into the Alaska Airlines site with no flight number or conf code...info that the app definitely has. Never mind—I’ll just go check in with the Alaska app.
Difficult to use

App is not intuitive. I can’t tell when I add a hotel of its creating a new reservation. Can’t book rental car, gives all the 1 & 2 star hotel that are not corporate standard, can’t figure out how to book two 1 way tickets under 1 reservation, can’t figure out how to delete and itinerary that is not booked. Concur app does all these easily.

Doesn’t allow cancelling hotel reservations from within the mobile app. Always have to go to full site to cancel a reservation made within the app!. Why create that frustration for users? Also, why can’t we modify the number of nights in the reservation to extend a stay prior to the trip starting. You Force us to cancel the standing reservation and make a new reservation with the added days. Also inconvenient

We use this app for our company bookings. I was finding since it 3rd parties with Expedia I was arriving at the hotels and not getting points. Once I realized this I found an easy workaround. I have found that when I scroll down under the rooms section (usually it says more in a blue letters) that I can find rooms with hotel loyalty points, many times at the same rate, and if I use my AAA card, better than the Expedia rate. I like the functionality of searches for hotels and flights/trains.
Too many mistakes

Used Egencia app for a couple years. Hoped they’d fix the errors. I receive conflicting notices from Egencia and the airlines. For example, my flight is delayed today. I’m at the gate and see the real-time changes. Egencia sends me a message saying my flight time changed and is back to the original time. If I wasn’t sitting at the gate and didn’t know there is still a 40 minute delay, the Egencia notice would have caused me to panic a bit and leave the restaurant, lounge, etc earlier than necessary. I awarded 3 stars since Egencia is a good place to keep all my travel arrangements (flight, hotel, rental car, etc) in one location. Otherwise, I haven’t found the hotel prices to be less than competitors or direct booking with hotels. Since I’m forced to use Egencia for work, I’m disappointed I have to miss out on staying at nicer hotels because they aren’t listed in the app. I go through special approval, which is a hassle, to stay at some Hilton hotels that give a less expensive rate when I book directly through the hotel than when I book with Egencia. Overall, I’d love to see this app and website improved. Here’s hoping!

Glitchy app. The “add to wallet” function no longer works, so now I have to print boarding passes. Also, the app sometimes provides alerts about flights I’m not booked on, which is very concerning. Does that mean the app double books passengers from time to time? Also, there needs to be a seamless transition between the app and website so that when we need to switch between them, we don’t need to enter login and password credentials. That should happen automatically. Also, there is no way to register TSA Precheck credentials..please make this possible so for those of us who have these credentials may register our TSA traveler number for flights booked with your app!

It is much better than the 2 yrs ago when we were transitioned from a travel agency that pampered us but 2 things that continue to be a real challenge and seem to be money makers so no hurry to change is the inability to cancel hotel rooms on the app as well as adding or deleting stops or stays, rental cars, etc as things change in the business world of catastrophe response and that flexibility is not found on Egencia app or site in general in these 2 cases.

I use Engencia for work travel. It is quick and easy to use. Graphics are high quality. I enjoy using it for my travel needs. I wish I could rent cars through the app but that may be a limitation our company instituted. But i can easily move from the app to the website to rent a car when needed.

Easy booking in my opinion. However beware when room States loyalty points will be given on room, half the time incorrect. I put my hotel rewards number in system profile and picked the one stating price includes loyalty points and at check in front desk states no points will be given or 3 days later points not given. I travel a lot and probably missed out on 20+ booked nights not given to my acct. that is just plain wrong! Try it you’ll see be warned though it’s a roll if the dice, lol.

I have continuously used Corporate codes for better deals. And the fact that I have to search for specific rooms to achieve credit for my overnight stays and accumulation of points is a complete and utter disappointment and joke. The only one that benefits from this is you. Not a fan since I have been a rewards member of Marriott for several years. I can also take advantage of the hotels offerings such as concierge for a much lower price than what you provide for half the luxury at twice the price. Complete disappointment. Not pleased with your fares or your service.

This app does it all from managing travel for all of my employees....to finding the nicer hotels in each city. Star ratings and hotel reviews display to reduce research time. Booking rental cars and flights is fast and easy. If you need help it’s just a phone call away. It’s like having a VIP travel planner working for me. Great value.

Doesn’t allow cancelling hotel reservations from within the mobile app. Always have to go to full site to cancel a reservation made within the app!. Why create that frustration for users? Also, why can’t we modify the number of nights in the reservation to extend a stay prior to the trip starting. You Force us to cancel the standing reservation and make a new reservation with the added days. Also inconvenient

App works seamlessly and is accurate and easy to use. My company requires that we use Egencia and if I can’t talk to an agent, I use the app and it has performed flawlessly. In fact, last time I used it I was talking to an agent while using the app and I was finding info faster than the fellow helping me could.

Use this for quite a bit of work travel, and since it’s work related I often have to cancel reservations and change plans. Canceling a reservation is not a feature available in the app... have to use a computer and go to their website. Please add this functionality next release!!

I’ve had this issue for some time now, the app always shows that my flight has not been approved and is awaiting approval although the flight has been approved by my manager. I’d always have to go to the website to book my flight after approval. Hope you guys can get this fixed. It’s not easy to select seats on the website using a small screen.

Multi-City functionality does not work well. The flights I need do not come up in the search. But when I do One-Way search for each segment, the flights come up. So I have to book one at time just to get the flights I need, or book directly in the Airlines website because Multi-City works and shows the flights I need.

The challenge I have not with the Apple with the system itself is when you book a flight while you’re waiting approval the flight goes from $370-$998 I know you know may not be able to control that but the system definitely needs to be fixed so that we are not spending all of our time booking flights rebooking flights rebooking flights again because of price changes within 24 hours

While on a trip with little data connection, when I needed to rely on this app most, I was consistently logged out and unable to authorize back in with very little in terms of error reporting. There was no readily apparent way to contact support when I couldn’t log in either. I had to search out WiFi to log into their website to see my trip details. Due to this, I’ll never be able to rely fully on this app, which is too bad.

Hmm...if an app sends me an alert saying it’s time to check in (which I appreciate), that should be an easy task to accomplish—instead, “check in” buried down in the flight details and when I did click on it, the app dumps me into the Alaska Airlines site with no flight number or conf code...info that the app definitely has. Never mind—I’ll just go check in with the Alaska app.

Each place i have to select from a list of choices for hotel rewards, airline rewards, reasons for selecting flights and payment ALL take me making the same selection numerous times before it will record. Also on iPad the app will not change orientation to landscape which is necessary since i use an attached keyboard. Simple things that have been ongoing issues.

SSO login with 2F is slow, takes a ton of clicks, and you’re auto logged out too quickly. That adds to the other major frustration that anything other than a simple itinerary requires one or more phone calls. I really want to use this mobile app, but it’s so much effort that i end up waiting til I’m in front of a laptop again.

The app is very easy to use, and it’s come a long way from a couple of years ago. The filters I use most for flight and hotel searches have been added, it’s getting almost as easy as using Egencia online.

Can’t book rental car, gives all the 1 & 2 star hotel that are not corporate standard, can’t figure out how to book two 1 way tickets under 1 reservation, can’t figure out how to delete and itinerary that is not booked. Concur app does all these easily.

This app is probably one of the worst travel apps I’ve ever used. It constantly adds my hotel to a different itinerary. I don’t need to book a train, I need to book a car, no car rental option. It hangs at the end of booking air fare and you’re not sure if it confirmed or not, then you have three or four bookings for the same flight. Call em up to fix it...? That’ll be $25.

The call me option that was removed and the option to book flights were the only thing that was worth about this app. They are both gone now. When we travel we can't spend 20 minutes on hold, we usually have mobile devices and are in the go. Now you can only book hotels and call Egencia.

SSO is painful, not finger print support. Takes several minutes when out of the US for log in loading screen to populate and then fails SSO with multiple retries required. I would use and rate the app highly, but I can’t get access to it. Very frustrating when travel plans are messed up and your trying to use the app on the fly

The only issue is you can’t see the entire drop down reason for booking that particular flight. I didn’t know which to pick because I couldn’t see the entire sentence. On another note, I can’t send this without choosing a nickname which is ridiculous because anything I put in is already taken.

This could be a great app, but it requires too much thought and doesn’t have a simple path to book a flight within company policy. The newest update introduced new hurdles that were supposed to make things easier, but are actually necessary for biz. For example, no longer do you need to have your flights approved. Wait, what? Somehow though now ppl have to approve hotels more than a non-refundable flight. It’s ridiculous. I’m surprised a company like Expedia would think this is acceptable. If you’re a small business that enjoys spending your time with Egencia customer support so that they can charge you $24 for operator assistance, by all means embrace Egencia with open arms. If you’re normal and sane, explain to your execs that the $ saved isn’t worth the aggravation and nickel and dime fees to switch to this online option.

The fields that require all numbers brings up the entire keyboard and time phone number fields do not jump to the next while typing. Furthermore, my credit card expires in the 21st century and don’t feel I should be required to type in the 20 in 20xx.

Each place i have to select from a list of choices for hotel rewards, airline rewards, reasons for selecting flights and payment ALL take me making the same selection numerous times before it will record. Also on iPad the app will not change orientation to landscape which is necessary since i use an attached keyboard. Simple things that have been ongoing issues.

While on a trip with little data connection, when I needed to rely on this app most, I was consistently logged out and unable to authorize back in with very little in terms of error reporting. There was no readily apparent way to contact support when I couldn’t log in either. I had to search out WiFi to log into their website to see my trip details. Due to this, I’ll never be able to rely fully on this app, which is too bad.

The challenge I have not with the Apple with the system itself is when you book a flight while you’re waiting approval the flight goes from $370-$998 I know you know may not be able to control that but the system definitely needs to be fixed so that we are not spending all of our time booking flights rebooking flights rebooking flights again because of price changes within 24 hours

This app is difficult to use when searching for round trips on airlines and the mobile version makes it hard to book rental cars. How would it be to save my rental car company preferences? Validation for airport city is awkward also. I am forced to use this app for travel approval.

Easy booking in my opinion. However beware when room States loyalty points will be given on room, half the time incorrect. I put my hotel rewards number in system profile and picked the one stating price includes loyalty points and at check in front desk states no points will be given or 3 days later points not given. I travel a lot and probably missed out on 20+ booked nights not given to my acct. that is just plain wrong! Try it you’ll see be warned though it’s a roll if the dice, lol.

In the early 80’s a travel agent / agency was great, the mid to late 80’s the internet was in its infancy stages, the 90’s came along and more internet options became available, now its 2018 and better options and prices can be found without a third party company. There are certainly lower priced options, why does someone think or can prove this to be a more cost effective means of business? Do I think a reply to this message is in order? Yes, should I expect one? Most likely not! I’ll be waiting for an explanation on why the current policy that is proven to NOT save money or time??? I’ll wait for the day to listen

Back button takes me to login screen every time. They also modify the confirmation code so it’s not the same one the airlines uses. Why? That’s very strange. They never show all of the available seats and more than half the time, my frequent flyer number isn’t on the record.

SSO is painful, not finger print support. Takes several minutes when out of the US for log in loading screen to populate and then fails SSO with multiple retries required. I would use and rate the app highly, but I can’t get access to it. Very frustrating when travel plans are messed up and your trying to use the app on the fly

Hmm...if an app sends me an alert saying it’s time to check in (which I appreciate), that should be an easy task to accomplish—instead, “check in” buried down in the flight details and when I did click on it, the app dumps me into the Alaska Airlines site with no flight number or conf code...info that the app definitely has. Never mind—I’ll just go check in with the Alaska app.

Can’t book rental car, gives all the 1 & 2 star hotel that are not corporate standard, can’t figure out how to book two 1 way tickets under 1 reservation, can’t figure out how to delete and itinerary that is not booked. We use this app for our company bookings. I was finding since it 3rd parties with Expedia I was arriving at the hotels and not getting points. Once I realized this I found an easy workaround. I have found that when I scroll down under the rooms section (usually it says more in a blue letters) that I can find rooms with hotel loyalty points, many times at the same rate, and if I use my AAA card, better than the Expedia rate. I like the functionality of searches for hotels and flights/trains.

Used Egencia app for a couple years. Hoped they’d fix the errors. I receive conflicting notices from Egencia and the airlines. For example, my flight is delayed today. I’m at the gate and see the real-time changes. Egencia sends me a message saying my flight time changed and is back to the original time. If I wasn’t sitting at the gate and didn’t know there is still a 40 minute delay, the Egencia notice would have caused me to panic a bit and leave the restaurant, lounge, etc earlier than necessary. I awarded 3 stars since Egencia is a good place to keep all my travel arrangements (flight, hotel, rental car, etc) in one location. Otherwise, I haven’t found the hotel prices to be less than competitors or direct booking with hotels. Since I’m forced to use Egencia for work, I’m disappointed I have to miss out on staying at nicer hotels because they aren’t listed in the app. I go through special approval, which is a hassle, to stay at some Hilton hotels that give a less expensive rate when I book directly through the hotel than when I book with Egencia. Overall, I’d love to see this app and website improved. Here’s hoping!

This could be a great app, but it requires too much thought and doesn’t have a simple path to book a flight within company policy. The newest update introduced new hurdles that were supposed to make things easier, but are actually necessary for biz. For example, no longer do you need to have your flights approved. Wait, what? Somehow though now ppl have to approve hotels more than a non-refundable flight. It’s ridiculous. I’m surprised a company like Expedia would think this is acceptable. If you’re a small business that enjoys spending your time with Egencia customer support so that they can charge you $24 for operator assistance, by all means embrace Egencia with open arms. If you’re normal and sane, explain to your execs that the $ saved isn’t worth the aggravation and nickel and dime fees to switch to this online option.

Glitchy app. The “add to wallet” function no longer works, so now I have to print boarding passes. Also, the app sometimes provides alerts about flights I’m not booked on, which is very concerning. Does that mean the app double books passengers from time to time? Also, there needs to be a seamless transition between the app and website so that when we need to switch between them, we don’t need to enter login and password credentials. That should happen automatically. Also, there is no way to register TSA Precheck credentials..please make this possible so for those of us who have these credentials may register our TSA traveler number for flights booked with your app!

It is much better than the 2 yrs ago when we were transitioned from a travel agency that pampered us but 2 things that continue to be a real challenge and seem to be money makers so no hurry to change is the inability to cancel hotel rooms on the app as well as adding or deleting stops or stays, rental cars, etc as things change in the business world of catastrophe response and that flexibility is not found on Egencia app or site in general in these 2 cases.

I use Engencia for work travel. It is quick and easy to use. Graphics are high quality. I enjoy using it for my travel needs. I wish I could rent cars through the app but that may be a limitation our company instituted. But i can easily move from the app to the website to rent a car when needed.

I have continuously used Corporate codes for better deals. And the fact that I have to search for specific rooms to achieve credit for my overnight stays and accumulation of points is a complete and utter disappointment and joke. The only one that benefits from this is you. Not a fan since I have been a rewards member of Marriott for several years. I can also take advantage of the hotels offerings such as concierge for a much lower price than what you provide for half the luxury at twice the price. Complete disappointment. Not pleased with your fares or your service.

In fact, last time I used it I was talking to an agent while using the app and I was finding info faster than the fellow helping me could.

Use this for quite a bit of work travel, and since it’s work related I often have to cancel reservations and change plans. Canceling a reservation is not a feature available in the app... have to use a computer and go to their website. Please add this functionality next release!!

I’ve had this issue for some time now, the app always shows that my flight has not been approved and is awaiting approval although the flight has been approved by my manager. I’d always have to go to the website to book my flight after approval. Hope you guys can get this fixed. It’s not easy to select seats on the website using a small screen.

Multi-City functionality does not work well. The flights I need do not come up in the search. But when I do One-Way search for each segment, the flights come up. So I have to book one at time just to get the flights I need, or book directly in the Airlines website because Multi-City works and shows the flights I need.

SSO login with 2F is slow, takes a ton of clicks, and you’re auto logged out too quickly. That adds to the other major frustration that anything other than a simple itinerary requires one or more phone calls. I really want to use this mobile app, but it’s so much effort that i end up waiting til I’m in front of a laptop again.

The app is very easy to use, and it’s come a long way from a couple of years ago. The filters I use most for flight and hotel searches have been added, it’s getting almost as easy as using Egencia online.

This app is probably one of the worst travel apps I’ve ever used. It constantly adds my hotel to a different itinerary. I don’t need to book a train, I need to book a car, no car rental option. It hangs at the end of booking air fare and you’re not sure if it confirmed or not, then you have three or four bookings for the same flight. Call em up to fix it...? That’ll be $25.

The call me option that was removed and the option to book flights were the only thing that was worth about this app. They are both gone now. When we travel we can't spend 20 minutes on hold, we usually have mobile devices and are in the go. Now you can only book hotels and call Egencia.

They don’t honor reward points from hotels even tho when you book it says it does. I have been even excuse after excuse. They say,” read the fine print.” I do then call them out on it. They say, “take a screen shot.” I do and call them out on it. I am right again. Last excuse I got was it’s people in the back office who makes the final call. Kinda of a joke.

Latest version 5.6 appears to just load the web version into the app as if it were a browser. Is this what Egencia thinks its customers want? I have lots of browsers already.. And SSO support stinks - can’t save my credentials to do autologin. If you hit back button I end up on SSO login again. It needs so much work!

Terrible service. It took multiple tries to book my flight. I could easily search on google or bing to get better flight options, cheaper prices and faster booking. It even took multiple tries and more wanted time to write a review because numerous nicknames have been taken. Ridiculous!
