I LOVE IT but you barely get more,ten gems and you can only play for so long because you need more gems to unlock more levels and I don’t think you will have enough gems when you finish the first levels lets get to talking about the fun stuff ok 👍

I’ve had this game in the cloud because I got so far that I had to start making purchases which I can’t afford to do. I watch all the ads, a pain, but I know this helps you. You don’t give nearly enough credits to continue playing after you reach the high levels.

This is a very good game and I can’t think of anything that is bad about this game. It’s a good game and the only thing I would change I would make is you could make your own puzzles and trivia. But other than that, I wouldn’t change anything. I highly recommend you download this game. It’s free and it’s really fun. This game is great. It has little to no ads. I would rate it 5 stars, but this game relies on you to pay its currency, gems, to advance in it. If you ask me, there are enough purchases you can make in this game with gems; so please, don’t make it so p2w. And if you still can’t do THAT, at least lower the price of gems to advance!

Downloaded this after playing Word Stack. It’s a nice variation, but too easy. Got bored of it and went back to purchase all the packs in Word Stack.

I love this word game, it is by far my favorite! I just wish we wouldn't have to purchase higher levels. :( You can only get so many gems.. and having to purchase them to continue to play the game, not really fair.. I wouldn't go that far honestly, so I'll play until I can't play anymore I guess. Please make it where you don't have to purchase higher levels, the game would be so much better! You should be able to finish a level of how many are in the category round, and open more! That would be so much better! I highly suggest making it where you can win the level and open the next one, otherwise there's really no point in downloading it, to only be able to play one level. No one wants to watch a million videos to get gems or have to spend money. Please fix that! I would give it 5 stars otherwise..

I am thoroughly enjoying this game - that’s coming from someone who doesn’t play games on their phone. This is probably the third game in ten years. I especially love the one having to do with Romantic movies! I’m very much a Movie Junkie and a “Hollywoodie”! Nevertheless, I agree with a couple of the other reviews I read - I don’t like having to do the “gem” thing! I wish there was an in-app option to pay a one time price! Other than that....no problems!

I have a brain injury from meningitis and this is challenging. Sometimes my first match is wrong because the game has a different aspect of the word. Or because a word may have two matches. I wish the finished puzzle didn’t disappear as soon as it is completed to give me time to review it

New update has issues

I love this game and played it all the time before the new update. The 2 issues that I have a problem with are:
1. The game is playable in portrait layout only on my iPad Pro. I have everything on my iPad in landscape layout, as I did with the previous version of this game. But this new version can’t be rotated and I find that having to hold the iPad Pro up like a book gets heavy in the hand.
2. Secondly, there is a popup of some other game that appears from time to time that is truly annoying! You’ve made it difficult to get rid of by delaying the appearance of the tiny X in the upper right hand corner that closes it. It seems to me that you could at least offer an in-app purchase that would prevent this intrusive ‘other’ game popping up!
If not for these 2 issues, I would have rated the game 5 stars.

You have to have gems to get puzzles. That’s fine if there is a way to earn them..you can watch videos for five gems. You start the game with one hundred gems that unlocks some to play as you play OTHER games you earn things to help you move forward in the game. Not this one beat all the levels earned nothing went to play other levels what do they want 30 minutes after download money to get gems to move forward. Not happening. Don’t get me wrong I spend money on in app purchases, but these people nothing but greedy. I am deleting this app. Zero stars if I could.

This is a very fun but challenging game. I enjoyed the free levels but am super disappointed that past those, you have to purchase gems to unlock higher levels (you have the choice to unlock all the levels but it’s quite expensive for a word game app). Would love to keep playing but stopped because of this.

I love this game. It is hard to put down. This makes me feel smart, not the highfalutin kind of smart, but more of a snaughty kind of smart. The kind of snaughty feeling you get when you are the only kid with a candy bar. I like this game. It makes me feel candy bar smart.

I LOVE this gam! and like the previous reviewer, I hate to have to pay to continue to use it. However, it was a lot of work to develop these puzzles and the creators deserve to be compensated. The first time I played I was thinking it would be a nice diversion for a little while. Next thing I knew 3 hours had passed. The game is mentally stimulating as well as tons of fun. And if you have problems, Howard works really fast to resolve them. I say download and have fun!

This is super specific but for mega pack 2, pack 5, number 35 the word "hand" doesn't match with any of the words on the other side. Pretty sure it's supposed to match with "cuff" but it doesn't match with that or anything else. Please fix. :) THANKS!

I like the game it challenges you in many ways. I do not like the fact that you play the game without earning at least 100 gems to enter the next level. You must purchase your gems in order to continue on each level. Well I will delete it today because I don’t feel the need to purchase another level when the app itself doesn’t share gems.

One suggestion - when someone wins again, give us about two seconds before you switch to the new game. Sometimes I would like to review the connections when I complete the game.

The game itself was really fun, but there are only 40 free games. That took about an hour. Then you have to pay to unlock more games. Supposedly you can use free “gems” earned by watching videos, but you can only watch a few a day, and you’d need to watch almost 100 videos to unlock any games. It makes me angry. Just have a paid version and cut this crap out.

I looked at the first set of words and thought this would be intended for children, but I was quickly straightened out. It is the reason I keep playing word games. I really love this silly language.

This game was fun, but you have to either purchase gems or watch several videos (and there is a limit) in order to continue in the game. I understand having to purchase boosters and such, but to have to pay to continue in the game when there are SO MANY free games out there is silly. Nice concept, but I’ll be deleting the app because I’m not paying over and over to open the themed packs. Shame because this had potential.

This game is kind of fun but it has many problems. First of all, it has way too many ads. It is just annoying. Second, when you are done with the 40 puzzles they give you for free, they make you pay for the rest of them. Third, this game doesn’t have a lot to it. Sometimes the puzzles can be frustrating and not fun. Please fix this.....

Although I've done well, I get anxious if my initial pairing of words is not totally correct. I am a fast test taker, and always did well with this sort of thing in college and grad school. I guess it's because I'm not as sharp 30 years later.

I’ve made no purchases, so I’ve only played the “free” game. I didn’t like the ads. Although I got past the following, there were a few examples that made no sense to me. Right now I just chalk this up to age and continue on.

This is a really fun game and a great exercise for your brain! The pairs of words are not always very obvious, so sometimes you have to really think about which ones work together the best. I love this game and would highly recommend this to everyone!

I previously purchased the entire game. I didn’t play often, but liked to come back every now and again. I was working on some of the last paks first. The redesign caused me to lose all progress and everything is locked. When I lose progress in a game it loses it’s charm for me.

You only get a handful of free games/levels. Once those are done, you have to pay for more. Would rather they just charge for the app and give me free game play (or use an unlocking level system). I love playing this game. But...
1) it costs money to play more than 100 games, which might seem like a large number, but it takes very little time
2) I did pay $10 for the entire pack, but it still only works on my iPad, not my phone! This is the most I have ever spent for a game and i am just seething that it doesn’t automatically go on the cloud, like all my other apps.

The further you get into the game the harder it becomes and you really have to think. I enjoy this game, but looks like I’m going to have to pay to play more, so I guess when I finish this section I’m done. It would be a 5 star game otherwise.

This game is great. It has little to no ads. I would rate it 5 stars, but this game relies on you to pay its currency, gems, to advance in it. If you ask me, there are enough purchases you can make in this game with gems; so please, don’t make it so p2w. And if you still can’t do THAT, at least lower the price of gems to advance!

I’ve had this game in the cloud because I got so far that I had to start making purchases which I can’t afford to do. I watch all the ads, a pain, but I know this helps you. You don’t give nearly enough credits to continue playing after you reach the high levels.

This is a very good game and I can’t think of anything that is bad about this game. It’s a good game and the only thing I would change I would make is you could make your own puzzles and trivia. But other than that, I wouldn’t change anything. I highly recommend you download this game. It’s free and it’s really fun. Downloaded this after playing Word Stack. It’s a nice variation, but too easy. Got bored of it and went back to purchase all the packs in Word Stack.

This game is fun but you can only get so many gems before you have to buy. After the the 2 free levels, you also have to buy the other levels in order to play them. It's not worth it to be honest.

This is a very good game and I can’t think of anything that is bad about this game. It’s a good game and the only thing I would change I would make is you could make your own puzzles and trivia. But other than that, I wouldn’t change anything. I highly recommend you download this game. It’s free and it’s really fun. And if you do download this game it would be really helpful to give this game 5 stars and give a really good review for this game. I would give this game 10 stars if I could. I love this word game, it is by far my favorite! I just wish we wouldn't have to purchase higher levels. :( You can only get so many gems.. and having to purchase them to continue to play the game, not really fair.. I wouldn't go that far honestly, so I'll play until I can't play anymore I guess. Please make it where you don't have to purchase higher levels, the game would be so much better! You should be able to finish a level of how many are in the category round, and open more! That would be so much better! I highly suggest making it where you can win the level and open the next one, otherwise there's really no point in downloading it, to only be able to play one level. No one wants to watch a million videos to get gems or have to spend money. Please fix that! I would give it 5 stars otherwise..

I am thoroughly enjoying this game - that’s coming from someone who doesn’t play games on their phone. This is probably the third game in ten years. I especially love the one having to do with Romantic movies! I’m very much a Movie Junkie and a “Hollywoodie”! Nevertheless, I agree with a couple of the other reviews I read - I don’t like having to do the “gem” thing! I wish there was an in-app option to pay a one time price! Other than that....no problems!

I have a brain injury from meningitis and this is challenging. Sometimes my first match is wrong because the game has a different aspect of the word. Or because a word may have two matches. I wish the finished puzzle didn’t disappear as soon as it is completed to give me time to review it

I LOVE IT but you barely get more,ten gems and you can only play for so long because you need more gems to unlock more levels and I don’t think you will have enough gems when you finish the first levels lets get to talking about the fun stuff ok 👍

New update has issues

I love this game and played it all the time before the new update. The 2 issues that I have a problem with are:
1. The game is playable in portrait layout only on my iPad Pro. I have everything on my iPad in landscape layout, as I did with the previous version of this game. But this new version can’t be rotated and I find that having to hold the iPad Pro up like a book gets heavy in the hand.
2. Secondly, there is a popup of some other game that appears from time to time that is truly annoying! You’ve made it difficult to get rid of by delaying the appearance of the tiny X in the upper right hand corner that closes it. It seems to me that you could at least offer an in-app purchase that would prevent this intrusive ‘other’ game popping up!
If not for these 2 issues, I would have rated the game 5 stars.
Terrible app greedy

You have to have gems to get puzzles. That’s fine if there is a way to earn them..you can watch videos for five gems. You start the game with one hundred gems that unlocks some to play as you play OTHER games you earn things to help you move forward in the game. Not this one beat all the levels earned nothing went to play other levels what do they want 30 minutes after download money to get gems to move forward. Not happening. Don’t get me wrong I spend money on in app purchases, but these people nothing but greedy. I am deleting this app. Zero stars if I could.

Downloaded this after playing Word Stack. It’s a nice variation, but too easy. Got bored of it and went back to purchase all the packs in Word Stack.
To all the people complaining about having to pay for more content... Seriously. Go get a job and stop reading fake news on Facebook, it takes time and resources (aka, money) to create quality content.

This is a very fun but challenging game. I enjoyed the free levels but am super disappointed that past those, you have to purchase gems to unlock higher levels (you have the choice to unlock all the levels but it’s quite expensive for a word game app). Would love to keep playing but stopped because of this.

I’ve had this game in the cloud because I got so far that I had to start making purchases which I can’t afford to do. I watch all the ads, a pain, but I know this helps you. You don’t give nearly enough credits to continue playing after you reach the high levels.

I have been playing this game on and off for years. I love the fact that you have to think how the words are being associated from game to game. I am glad the developers keep updating it to accommodate the new iOS programs.

Good game makes you think to reach potential answers. Other alternatives in this game ask for opposites instead of related or similar. Well conceived word association game. Helps you build your vocabulary while you answer to the best of your ability.

The first time I played I was thinking it would be a nice diversion for a little while. Next thing I knew 3 hours had passed. The game is mentally stimulating as well as tons of fun. And if you have problems, Howard works really fast to resolve them. I say download and have fun!

This is super specific but for mega pack 2, pack 5, number 35 the word "hand" doesn't match with any of the words on the other side. Pretty sure it's supposed to match with "cuff" but it doesn't match with that or anything else. Please fix. :) THANKS!

It really challenges you. I'm always looking for things to exercise my mind. I feel word to word really puts it out there in more ways then I've seen so far. It gives you a better understanding of words too.

I like the game it challenges you in many ways. I do not like the fact that you play the game without earning at least 100 gems to enter the next level. You must purchase your gems in order to continue on each level. Well I will delete it today because I don’t feel the need to purchase another level when the app itself doesn’t share gems.

One suggestion - when someone wins again, give us about two seconds before you switch to the new game. Sometimes I would like to review the connections when I complete the game.

The game itself was really fun, but there are only 40 free games. That took about an hour. Then you have to pay to unlock more games. Supposedly you can use free “gems” earned by watching videos, but you can only watch a few a day, and you’d need to watch almost 100 videos to unlock any games. It makes me angry. Just have a paid version and cut this crap out.

This game was fun, but you have to either purchase gems or watch several videos (and there is a limit) in order to continue in the game. I understand having to purchase boosters and such, but to have to pay to continue in the game when there are SO MANY free games out there is silly. Nice concept, but I’ll be deleting the app because I’m not paying over and over to open the themed packs. Shame because this had potential.

This game is kind of fun but it has many problems. First of all, it has way too many ads. It is just annoying. Second, when you are done with the 40 puzzles they give you for free, they make you pay for the rest of them. Third, this game doesn’t have a lot to it. Sometimes the puzzles can be frustrating and not fun. Please fix this.....

Although I've done well, I get anxious if my initial pairing of words is not totally correct. I am a fast test taker, and always did well with this sort of thing in college and grad school. I guess it's because I'm not as sharp 30 years later.

I’ve made no purchases, so I’ve only played the “free” game. I didn’t like the ads. Although I got past the following, there were a few examples that made no sense to me. Right now I just chalk this up to age and continue on.

This is a really fun game and a great exercise for your brain! The pairs of words are not always very obvious, so sometimes you have to really think about which ones work together the best. I love this game and would highly recommend this to everyone!

Lost ability to just play and enjoy

I previously purchased the entire game. I didn’t play often, but liked to come back every now and again. I was working on some of the last paks first. The redesign caused me to lose all progress and everything is locked. When I lose progress in a game it loses it’s charm for me.

You only get a handful of free games/levels. Once those are done, you have to pay for more. Would rather they just charge for the app and give me free game play (or use an unlocking level system). I love playing this game. But...
1) it costs money to play more than 100 games, which might seem like a large number, but it takes very little time
2) I did pay $10 for the entire pack, but it still only works on my iPad, not my phone! This is the most I have ever spent for a game and i am just seething that it doesn’t automatically go on the cloud, like all my other apps.

The further you get into the game the harder it becomes and you really have to think. I enjoy this game, but looks like I’m going to have to pay to play more, so I guess when I finish this section I’m done. It would be a 5 star game otherwise.

This game is great. It has little to no ads. I would rate it 5 stars, but this game relies on you to pay its currency, gems, to advance in it. If you ask me, there are enough purchases you can make in this game with gems; so please, don’t make it so p2w. And if you still can’t do THAT, at least lower the price of gems to advance!
