GPlayer - video player
Description
You wish you could play any video file on your iPhone/iPad, no matter its format? that's why we made GPlayer. @ZDNET: GPlayer fills the iOS void left by VLC! * Follow our Twitter @GinkgoTech to get the free code when new version released. * GPlayer was honored as "app of the Week" in the Appcast. * Supported File Format Extension - AVI(without packet-b frame), WMV, RMVB, ASF, H264, MKV, TS, M2TS... most of all movie file formats. - MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, FLAC... most of all audio file formats. - SMI, ASS, SUB, SRT, TXT... most of all subtitle file formats. [build in subtitle is also supported] * Extra Features - USB Sync: Use itunes to fast sync movies to GPlayer. - WIFI Upload: Upload movie even you don't have the cable. - File Management: Support New/Rename/Cut/Paste/Delete. - Movie Thumbnail: Easy to find the movie you want to view. - Different Play Mode: Support Loop off/Loop One/Loop all. - Screen Lock: View your movie even on the bed. - Dynamically Menu: Dynamically choose audio/subtitle channel and encoding method. - Gesture support: Easier way to do seek while playing the movie. - Resume Function: Don't worry about closing your application suddenly. - TV Out: Both cable TV out and AirPlay are supported. - iTunes Backup: By default, we will not backup media data when you do iTunes sync or iCloud backup, and you can't see the files in iTunes, you can enable it in the settings page to backup your media data. * FAQ - How do I put files into GPlayer? To add files to your GPlayer app, you have to go to iTunes, and select the “Apps” tab. At the bottom of this page, there’s a “File sharing” section – just select GPlayer in the list, and add files from there. Note that you don’t have to sync your iPhone or iPad to iTunes to add movies. Just drop files in the “File sharing” tab, and they’ll be uploaded immediately. You can even use a friend’s iTunes to add videos to your own iPhone. Also, adding files over WiFi is supported. Indeed, WiFi is significantly slower than USB, and ruins the battery life. - What kind of streams does GPlayer play? GPlayer is able to play RTSP and MMS streams. For now those can’t be added to the media library, but you can click an RTSP or MMS url in Safari or Mail for example. If you want to use GPlayer to open HTTP/FTP streaming, add "gplayer:" prefix in the URL. - I want to explicitely open an attachment with GPlayer? If you want to watch an attachment in GPlayer(from Mail for example), just do a long press on the attachment. A menu will pop-up that will let you pick GPlayer as a player. - iTunes won’t let me install GPlayer on my iPhone or iPod Touch? Unfortunately, we had to drop support for older iOS devices such as the iPhone 3G or the first two versions of iPods. Indeed, after some testing, we realized those weren’t fast enough to provide a pleasant experience. - Why HD MKV movies don’t play smoothly? Currently, only iPad 2 supports 720p MKV file, that’s to be expected. The other iDevices have limited computing power, and cannot handle the complex task of decoding HD movies in real time. - The audio and the video is not in sync? That is because the CPU is not power enough to do video decoding, you can try to enable "Skip Frame" in the settings page. - Is there a TV-out support? Yep, supports iPod gen4, iPhone4, iPhone4S and iPad 1/2. * Contact us Mail: gplayersupport@hotmail.com Website: gplayersupport.wordpress.com * If you want to help to translate GPlayer to your mother language, just drop a mail to gplayersupport@hotmail.com, that will help people in your country enjoy this software, and we will put your name in thanks page!
Best video viewing app
by HHH3993 on 2020/01/18 12:37
Of all the different apps I’ve tried to watch my downloaded videos on, this has been the easiest and most hassle free to use, you can set up increasing the play speed which is my favorite and what I really needed. The only downside is that the files don’t get arranged how you’d like them to be, like there’s no option for alphabetical or numerical order, and since I’m watching board review videos, not having this can get pretty annoying when I have to search where the next video out of 100 will be
Bad bug
by Sneefle on 2019/08/29 04:47
iOS 12 iPhone XS - most of the time, rotating the screen, which triggers the video player to change orientation, will crash the app and you will lose your playback progress, etc. very frustrating. Sometimes doesn’t happen, but often does. Seems more prone to crash after watching several videos in a row. Memory leak? iOS 12 iPhone 8 Plus - had downloaded many videos by using "open in" and choosing GPlayer. That adds them to the folder "inbox" on the iPhone. Today I tapped the button "use iTunes backup" or maybe it's called just "iTunes Backup" on the app, on my iphone, and it instantly deleted the entire inbox. iPhone storage info shows GPlayer using only app space (around 45MB) and no documents/data. Very upset. Used GPlayer for years, since I think iPhone 3G.
Good Basic Video Player.
by ESCaisey on 2019/01/03 21:06
I use this often to watch videos, no complaints, but I do have a few suggestions that would be very helpful. 1. Can you integrate a way to loop a section of a video, and adjust the playback speed. I mainly use this for instructional videos it would be great to have the ability to loop a section and slow it down to assist with learning. 2. It would be neat to integrate a video playlist feature where a selection of videos could be played one after the other. Add those 2 features and it would make the app that much powerful Thanks
New IPad Pro Support
by zaayeb on 2018/12/27 09:41
Hi Guys, This is really an amazing app and I have been using this for several years now. I bought a new iPad Pro but however this app is not supported for that. Hoping you will push the update for this very soon. So I can continue to enjoy this app and support the app.
It works. I love it
by MaxPlanc on 2018/11/18 15:58
That's all folks
Need to fix the bug ASAP.
by wxk win on 2018/02/22 06:25
Second time rating this app. First I have to say it’s still my favorite app. It supports importing a folder directly from my Mac, which means I don’t need to spend time managing all the pics and vids into a neat order. Much more convenient compared to VLC since it doesn’t support viewing pics. However, there’re something I need to complain. First, some avi video cannot be played, which I believe it not the issue of copyright or something since they were captured by my own camera and I compressed them. VLC could decode them and play them, so I’m not sure if it’s a problem. But it’s just annoying. Secondly, all the files are in a seemingly random order. I’ve arranged all the files on my Mac in the alphabetical order, and they’re “perfectly” disarranged when I import them into GPlayer regardless of the file size, name or anything. I’m totally confused and it’s a HUGE problem for me since I need to scroll through all the files to locate the one I wanna pick up. That’s terrible. Really need to fix it developers. My devices: iPhoneX and iPad Pro 10.5 2nd gen both run IOS 11.2.5. Love your work. Please make it better after all these years.

Works ok with one annoying bug
by gradyward on 2017/05/15 20:59
Seems to work ok, especially if I convert everything to MP4 format. The setting that selects "play where I left off" doesn't work. If I switch to another app and come back, it always starts at the beginning

Ease of use, unclear icon interface.
by Sid Vaga on 2017/02/05 20:34
I use the app to view video clips that don't work the iPhone's built in video player. It requires very few extra steps to be able to watch a clip. The menu icons are less intuitive when it comes to knowing how to selecting individual clips for sorting and deletion, and require some trial and error to understand.
Codecs for sound
by Stephen Holland on 2017/01/18 04:43
I hate to say it, but I've moved to nPlayer. I can always hear my files because they pay to use the codecs.

Great App
Has always worked perfectly for me!
by Oragami Master on 2016/07/09 23:51
I have had this App for several years and it has always done exactly what I need it to! Being able to wirelessly transfer video content to my device is very convenient, and the in app video functions such as the 15 second swipe gesture is great! I think my only complaint is that when you leave the app for any reason it seems to open and refresh and will not save your place in a video. That however has never been a huge problem for me personally, being that it only takes a second to scroll to where I left off. Overall, you get a lot of functionality and options for media transfer and playback, easily a five star rating in my book!

Nice App
by BrownBeezy on 2016/06/25 07:10
Been using GPlayer for a while now. Functionality is good. My only issue is I haven't found a way to export file strait to email or link text msg. Other than that, I use it regularly.
Best I've found.
by Nets_Nets on 2016/06/23 03:42
It doesn't crash as long as you just watch straight one video after another and don't go back to the files screen or navigate too much. It's also suffering the video codecs copyright changes in certain kind of files, so you can watch video but not sound, or viceversa, depending the case. It is not perfect but still I think it's the best I've tried.
I love it until May 30th
by PhilipeCaldas on 2016/06/02 10:14
After divx problems, it does not show subtitles anymore! Aka srt files!

by Valheru Steed on 2016/04/21 01:40
Great app for storing .mpg/.avi/.mp4 files on your apple product! Rarely hangs up, allows for renaming files on your device, and allows for viewing of your saved music videos or porn... Yes, I said porn, because we all know that's what most guys will use something like this for, myself included... It does have a tendency to delay or hang on the audio aspect for files on the iPad, while it does fine on the smaller devices... It may be due to the processor trying to put all the video onto the larger screen that messes with it...
Solid app.. Thanks for the updates
by brandonglennt on 2016/04/14 00:06
I noticed quite a few reviewers were quick to leave one star and express dissatisfaction for the last update that had issues with iOS 9.3.1 (which is fair), but after it was PROMPTLY fixed, those reviewers are nowhere to be found. I suppose that just comes with the territory. Anyway, thank you for a solid app. That said, I would like to see a more robust share sheet extension and an ability to import/export videos & photos in-app. Even so, that still doesn't take away from a very useful media player. Thanks again! Word to all reviewers: if an app is causing problems, sure - express your concerns... BUT when an app's issues are resolved......................... It's about decency people.
Great, but...
by wasp604 on 2016/04/13 13:55
1. There is no "open in" feature that I know of, which can get annoying when you want to send a video/sound clip to someone via iMessage or another app. 2. There is no inter-app audio. If there were, I could listen to movies through the Mimi Music app, which enhances dialogue greatly. 3. No developer contact information.
On iPad, app passcode is small
by Ditmark on 2016/04/11 03:46
When protecting the content inside the app on iPhone, content can't be watched because the app prompts passcode validation, this is NOT working as it should on the iPad because this prompt is too small and media thumbnails and titles can be seen. I wish it could get fixed please.

This is one of the five only apps I keep on my phone at all times. It works really well without much work on my end. I can transfer my shows, mainly in MKV format, and play them without any trouble. No tedious converting like the old days. I do wish it was a little more stable when playing high quality videos but that's understandable. Also streaming videos from a UPnP server is very unstable and leggy. And I know it's not solely my internet connection. Otherwise it's a great app that I never get rid of.
Great!
by Zaphire Borghi on 2014/09/24 17:56
I've been using this mostly to watch seasons of shows I like on my phone. It's nice to have them downloaded on my phone so I don't waste data trying to watch on netflix or YouTube. I really love this app. I like being able to keep private movies in this app where I can password lock. I also am happy that I no longer have to convert AVI files to iTunes friendly formats. Now I can watch all my downloaded content here :)

Bad bug
by Sneefle on 2019/08/29 04:47
iOS 12 iPhone XS - most of the time, rotating the screen, which triggers the video player to change orientation, will crash the app and you will lose your playback progress, etc. very frustrating.
Best video viewing app
by HHH3993 on 2020/01/18 12:37
Of all the different apps I’ve tried to watch my downloaded videos on, this has been the easiest and most hassle free to use, you can set up increasing the play speed which is my favorite and what I really needed. The only downside is that the files don’t get arranged how you’d like them to be, like there’s no option for alphabetical or numerical order, and since I’m watching board review videos, not having this can get pretty annoying when I have to search where the next video out of 100 will be
Works ok with one annoying bug
by gradyward on 2017/05/15 20:59
Seems to work ok, especially if I convert everything to MP4 format. The setting that selects "play where I left off" doesn't work. If I switch to another app and come back, it always starts at the beginning
New IPad Pro Support

Hi Guys, This is really an amazing app and I have been using this for several years now. I bought a new iPad Pro but however this app is not supported for that. Hoping you will push the update for this very soon. So I can continue to enjoy this app and support the app.
Nice App

Been using GPlayer for a while now. Functionality is good. My only issue is I haven't found a way to export file strait to email or link text msg. Other than that, I use it regularly.

Great until the last update.

Worked great until the last update. Now none of my files will show video all I get is sound. Looks like I will be moving on to another player.

Gesture can be more flexible
by CashVo on 2013/06/12 07:05
Hi dev... I like this app so far , it can play streaming video and music from my NAS very well. I have a feature request but you don't have a way for me to email you so I hope you are reading this. While using the gestures during playback of both music and video, I feel you can make it even more intuitive then just incremental swiping. For example, instead of having to swipe up several to increase the volume, why not track my swipe distance to determine the percentage of volume to increase? Same for fast forwarding or reversing. I should be able to drag my fingers across the screen an choose how far forward or backward I want to go, once I release then continue from there. Also, instead of single tap to show/hide the timer and controls, I rather single tap on the screen to play/pause because its too much effort to try and hit the play button from the pop put control if I want to pause... You can find these features in the CarTune and the iMeadiaShare app....take a look at them too see what I mean. Also, why don't you show the file name or title of the video or music being played? It's difficult to tell which song is currently playing because its not displayed. Plus, while playing music from a folder, it would be nice to be able to browse ahead to other songs too... Oh, and I like that it can play in background mode. I look forward to seeing these improvements in future updates...
This Is What Should Be Expected In An App
by EnergyColors on 2012/02/10 03:12
The slimline design of this app makes it run smoothly, and quickly. I found when viewing HD video (1280x720) it is best to use Hardware Decoding. If that doesn’t allow the video to run correctly – I had a problem with the audio syncing with the video frames – the support team recommend enabling the Skip Frame setting. I’ve tried three video players, including the default Apple Video app, which needs major improvements, and GPlayer is by far the greatest I’ve used. In Gplayer, all videos are added via iTunes File Sharing, which is faster than my available Wi-Fi, and that’s when the app begins to lighten up. Note: You must add videos before you will have access to all available features like, settings, etc. I’d like to thank the team of professionals that created such an excellent, and enjoyable app.
Title display!!!
by GeoMaru on 2014/06/14 16:39
This an update from my original review. The truncated titles are fixed! Now I can see the full title at least when in landscape. Would be nice there was an option to scroll the tile for a selected file so you could see it in full from portrait view. This goes for the iPad as well, would be great if there was an option for the current large thumbnails or a list view so that you can see the full title. For iPad everything is truncated and can't tell which episode is which. Otherwise great app, can't live without it. It also plays flac audio files too! WOULD GIVE IT 5 STARS IF FULL FILE NAMES WERE VISIBLE OR THERE WAS AN OPTION TO MAKE THEM VISIBLE! Just updated to this newest version and first thing I noticed...I can't see medium to long titles anymore! Extremely annoying because now I can't see what title or episode # the file is even in landscape where you have the space but still truncates it. PLEASE UPDATE THIS ASAP! then I will update this review.
Great app if you watch anime
by rensira on 2012/02/22 03:43
This seems to be the only app that plays anime mkvs correctly especially the current 10p releases. Though artifacts occur sometimes its actually pretty rare and probably actually less than pre 2.0 vlc on the pc. Surprisingly high action scenes are rendered relatively smoothly for an iphone player. The only major issue with the player is when multiple subtitles appear onscreen it tries to display both on the same line which usually results in it being difficult to read. Considering how this seems to be the only app that plays 10p anime releases properly though i still give it a 5. All of my experience is based off the iphone 4s though so i dont know how it runs otherwise
Mostly Brilliant
by H4WKE on 2013/02/04 10:15
This app is very good for video playback. It offers several ways to upload files onto your device, plays most video files of many different formats flawlessly, and has many options. Also, at the time of posting it is free, so I can't complain much. Unfortunately, due to the current developer acknowledged lack of a functional AC3 audio codec, some videos which are encoded with AC3 audio will not play audio. This can be easily remedied however by using VLC player on your computer to re-encode the audio of such videos to MP3 and then videos will play fine. So there's your temporary workaround folks. Hopefully a functional AC3 codec will be added soon. This is the only problem I have encountered so far.
This worked pretty good for me so far
by darth aduro93 on 2012/05/11 07:52
I have some .mkv files that I was having trouble converting so I thought what the heck and bought the app. I haven't had an issue at all. Wether hooked up to my computer or uploading via wifi the files looked great when I have watched them. But I'm only giving 4 stars for a few reasons. First there isn't an indicator on the iPad that shows you are uploading anything via wifi. Add something spinning to it or a status bar so users know that the iPad is receiving the file. This shouldn't be a deal breaker because the web browser does show something to that effect. Second, if GPlayer is minimized or the pop up window is closed, It stops uploading. No warning is given at all. Last, there isn't a picture from some part of the episode for the file so visual clue is shown what the file is. All in all I'm very pleased with the app and what I mentioned isn't a deal breaker.
Missing some key features
by thagreatest on 2013/01/02 21:55
Does not support AC3 audio format (I.e. it will play the video but with no sound). I read up on some message boards online and it looks like this has been an issue for some time now and has not yet been fixed). The only solution is to download converter tools and convert the audio to another format which is supported and THEN export it to GPlayer. Also AirPlay video playback only works if you turn on mirroring which means the resolution won't be as good and the framerate will be choppy. You guys need to at least mention these limitations and workarounds in the product description so people aren't surprised when they pay for your software without knowing these drawbacks. Other than that its a good app. 5 stars if/after you fix these issues.
Very good app
by Valheru Steed on 2016/04/21 01:40
Great app for storing .mpg/.avi/.mp4 files on your apple product!
Excellent player
by Pierrot L on 2012/04/20 03:33
Got this app as a simple, free solution to listen to FLAC on my iPod. Thus far, works with no problems whatsoever. Install the app, share files with it, and you're good to go! Most menu options are fairly intuitive, and the few that aren't really don't matter much unless you're doing something special. Sounds clean, and the only thing noticeable is an occasional gap in playback when locking the screen or switching/entering/exiting apps, although this is minor, to be expected, and not really a con. Great job, Ginkgo Tech!
Great player!
by Wcreviewer on 2014/05/02 14:37
Thanks for bringing the vast world of video formats to the finger tips of us video junkies. It's a worth while app to have for many video formats (avi, divx, mpg...) and far easier than Apple apps to backup or load on handheld as well. I took off one star for one thing. Maybe it exist, but I didn't find. When I pause some movies and go to another app or sleep the device (movies where I am asked about software or hardware coding), I have to remember where I paused because the player doesn't start in that spot when I start uthe app again.
It crashes ...
by ChhRithy on 2013/04/02 10:21
I've been with GPlayer since I upgraded from iPhone 4 to iPhone 4S two years ago. It's a very good video player till I used it in my iPad 4 about 5 months ago. The app crashes each and every time at the end of each and every movie or video clip I watch. The only way I can do to prevent it from crashing is that I manually forward it to the next clip a few seconds before the movie end :-( It's a pain. I've been waiting so long enough hoping that the developers could push an update to fix this bug yet nothing prevails. I hope once again this review will be heard by the developers. Hope I can update my rating to 5 stars once again when this annoying glitch is fixed :-)
Don't update
by Zornhead on 2012/10/31 03:55
The new update will remove ac3 codec, rendering this app worthless. Otherwise I like the app fine. BTW, for an developer to charge money for an app and then not pay for proper development of the app is the developer's issue. This app costs five bucks, much more than other apps that provide similar services. The developer is responsible for foreseeing price increases and reacting accordingly to ensure that his app is still valuable. The developer has failed to adhere to this basic business strategy.
titles truncated, no search
by slmrksmork on 2014/05/06 14:16
As far as a multiformat playback goes, this is a decent player. but I have to strongly agree with GeoMaru’s earlier complaint - I can’t differentiate between different episodes of tv series because the titles are very limited in length. So there is even a danger of spoilers from watching episodes out of order. A search function would also be very nice as with over 100 files loaded on my iPad, things can be hard to find, and aren’t even necessarily in alphabetic order. please fix these issues and get a 4-5 star review.
Love the redesign!
by A GUY 111388831 on 2014/04/05 15:01
I love the new color scheme, it really stands out as opposed to the old black and silver. To any and all, this is the VLC player of the iPad. It is truly the Swiss Army knife of video playback, and is a must download for anybody who works with/uses different kinds of video formats,or downloads a lot of videos from the internet and they are a wide range of formats. The player is nice, although I wish that subtitles had a black outline. Still, this is an essential app.
Almost Flawless implementation
by King-Afro on 2014/09/25 21:34
This is one of the five only apps I keep on my phone at all times.
Best video player
by (o)v(o) on 2012/05/29 22:29
This is the best video player for iOS. I hope they will make also "simple password" option so you can access private files using only 4 digits. And when I tried to use password protection (which I turned off quickly because it is not simple) I could have glance on a list of password protected files and their thumbnails before screen with password field appears over private files list.
10bit MKV Problem on IPhone4S after update.
by Prisma-D on 2012/05/09 05:12
This is once a great 10bit 720p MKV player I ever tried, sacrifice some quality to get a smooth playback even on IPhone4S with only skip loop filter enabled. However, after this last update, it has the same problem as AcePlayer when playing 10bit 720p MKV on IPhone4S, high quality picture but very lag playback. Is it possible to add an option to select between high performance mode and high quality mode?
New color theme is awful!
by Alexcom666 on 2014/04/08 06:22
I use your player exclusively for upnp and dreadful yellow you chose makes me really think about buying another upnp capable player. Guys, the person responsible for this color choice has no design skills and no taste! Also network servers menu doesn't close when i select upnp option like it used to do before you moved it to opposite corner. You have my four stars.
Just what I needed!
by digameJH on 2013/03/07 15:02
I was looking for a way to try out new music before adding it to my iTunes library, and this app lets me do that! The built-in library management is great, with folders, cut/paste functionality and previous/next buttons. The fact that it supports video (and many formats at that) is just the icing on the cake! Well worth the money!
Ok it's great again!
by MaxNIC on 2013/01/25 19:08
The reviewer had gotten back to me within hours of my support issue, this is a problem with the way Apple updated their app permissions. I needed to enable iTunes backup in the GPlayer settings, and all my issues fixed themselves, able to play vids from other apps and can see my folders from my computer again.
I'm confused by loss of UPnP
by thewebbix on 2013/09/01 15:04
I had an issue with my iPad 3 (original) that required me to restore from backup. Just before that my Gplayer app could access mediashare server via UPnP from the menu in lower left corner. I'm sure I had the latest update but after restoring and set up this Gplayer app only supports wifi transfer and iTunes transfer. Something doesn't make sense. Great video player but needs better sorting options (by name, date, size, etc). Want UPnP back!
Wonderful
by Loaffan on 2013/12/12 05:58
I'd like to give this 4.5 stars but don't know how to give 1/2 a star. It plays nearly everything I've thrown at it. The only reason I have to deduct 1/2 a star would be a bug/oversight in it. I cannot play from my shares on my network storage, unless I make an empty folder in the program. Then the network icon is available, and then it works wonderfully.
Bad app
by Tiago Rafael on 2012/09/16 20:54
It's a bad app. Two star: the first is for having tv-out option (in software decoding mode only) and the second star, for having support to several formats. And that's all. The app freezes very often. Audio consistenly goes faster than video. Frame-skip doesn't work properly. They say that audio and video get assyncronous because the iphone doesn't have enough processing power. That's funny because my TEN YEARS OLD Palm T5 can keep up audio and video and my 4S can't (obviously the same video file).
Great
by 277654 on 2012/02/25 02:19
Ok first off don't listen to all of these other people. This app is amazing work perfect for me. If any one is having problems it is a user error not software. One thing that needs fixed is u can't drag the progress bar into a certain spot. But other than that this app is a must have if u don't have the time to waist converting videos .
Great app needs a new feature
by Faizer123 on 2014/10/22 21:33
The app is great, really don't know what else to say. I can't see my phone without it. The old update before the color change expanded the file names when the player orientation changed. Unfortunately it was removed with the UI update and it would be great if it made a comeback.
Audio Problems
by UniversalAxis on 2013/03/14 07:05
This is generally a good app with a great feature set, but when I stream media files to my device from my computer, there is often no audio. I believe this to be the result of either deficient or no AC3 audio codec support within the player. Sometimes it does fine, audio and all; but many of my files have unsupported audio. Close, but only 3 stars until this compatibility issue is resolved.
It Works
by Hera4y7 on 2011/06/09 09:18
Played my Mkv and rmvb files decently. I'd like it better if there was an option to transfer videos from other apps into it (without the need to use itunes) and be able to erase what's transferred. As of now, when I transfer a video from another app it doesn't work, and cannot be erased from the Gplayers inbox even through iTunes. But it plays the files better than any of the other players I tried.

Hi Guys, This is really an amazing app and I have been using this for several years now. I bought a new iPad Pro but however this app is not supported for that. Hoping you will push the update for this very soon. So I can continue to enjoy this app and support the app.

Ease of use, unclear icon interface.
by Sid Vaga on 2017/02/05 20:34
I use the app to view video clips that don't work the iPhone's built in video player. It requires very few extra steps to be able to watch a clip. The menu icons are less intuitive when it comes to knowing how to selecting individual clips for sorting and deletion, and require some trial and error to understand.

by Oragami Master on 2016/07/09 23:51
I have had this App for several years and it has always done exactly what I need it to!

Almost Flawless implementation
by King-Afro on 2014/09/25 21:34
This is one of the five only apps I keep on my phone at all times.

Bad bug
by Sneefle on 2019/08/29 04:47
iOS 12 iPhone XS - most of the time, rotating the screen, which triggers the video player to change orientation, will crash the app and you will lose your playback progress, etc. very frustrating.

I mainly use this for instructional videos it would be great to have the ability to loop a section and slow it down to assist with learning. 2. It would be neat to integrate a video playlist feature where a selection of videos could be played one after the other. Add those 2 features and it would make the app that much powerful Thanks

Great App
