Best Assistant Ever
by Too Busy Today on 2019/02/21 14:52
I juggle multiple jobs and hats and Wunderlist enables all the madness. It’s integration allows specific tasks and appointments in disparate systems yet keeps them altogether here. 👍.
The best list-making app there is
by AmaliKF93 on 2019/02/21 14:41
This app helps keep my life super organized and my mind clutter-free! I love it :)
Percect for me
by chuchin.net on 2019/02/21 14:32
The app has been so far a great tool for me! With it I have been able to map several areas of thought and things to accomplish and the best part it’s not only linkable to the app on the computer! It’s FREE! Thank you Wunderlist!
Used to be good
by ctomao on 2019/02/21 13:51
I used to use this app years ago and enjoyed it. Got a new phone and decided to download it again, but now I need a Microsoft account or I can’t even get into the app?? Why? So cumbersome and annoying, I don’t want a Microsoft account.
Very practical
by AMEreviewed on 2019/02/20 23:34
Been using for a year or so now, and is very functional. It’s simple and not too customizable, but the list sharing is great (grocery list shared with my spouse is always up to date and accessible for both of us). Also love the ability to create categories of lists. I use it for to-do lists of all sorts, to remember who I’ve lent things to or what I’ve borrowed from others, lists of big ideas when they come to me, people I need to send thank you to, packing lists, and much more.
Does NOT sync as advertised
by ed97531 on 2019/02/20 15:24
I’ve used this for about 6-7 months. I like the simplicity. However, the sync across devices is haphazard. Once again this morning it said it was syncing when I opened the app on my iPad but tasks I rearranged on my laptop yesterday have not changed. This happens daily and I have to re-enter them. I went to the Wunderlist support page and they recommend a slew of workarounds, with the heart being that you have to do a manual comparison and re-input every time you login because it only syncs if the app is open? That’s exactly what’s happening to me, thus the app is useless to me and I will be looking at another option.
Wonderful app
by giberish1 on 2019/02/20 01:03
I use this app as a to do list, a grocery list, and a bill pay list. It works great

Hello please bring back Apple Watch support
Personal email can’t be used to create account.
by dogo54 on 2019/02/18 18:39
I tried to setup an account using my personal email and it flags it as a work or school account which it is NOT. Apparently no way around this. Good app but Microsoft is messing it up. Deleting it from all my devices.
Spent a long time looking, this is the one
by Sandwoman64 on 2019/02/18 08:16
I have looked for years for the best list-type app for my many lists that I keep. I like that the lists can be categorized, made into check-offs, and maintained as a lists of lists. There is much more that cam be done with this app, but this is what I was looking for!

Absolutely love grocery shopping list that everyone can see so whoever stops gets all that we need. Appointments too are fantastic to help keep each day’s important events out in front so everyone is on the same page.
Disappointed

It is great to use this App. Sharing tasks, repeating tasks is one of the options I use a lot. The today view is very helpful to have everything together.
Super functional app
by ozzyug on 2019/02/17 03:46
Easy to use and with lots of flexibility. Love the option to put notes and reminders
Love Wunderlist!
by als0429 on 2019/02/17 01:17
I use this app for all my lists. Grocery list, Christmas list, etc. Love how it syncs between my iPhone and iPad. I can add to my list in one and it updates in the other. It’s great.
Good grocery list keeper
by Blablabkabls on 2019/02/16 21:47
I use this app for my grocery lists by store that I go to. I like that I can check off items when I shop and then re-add items the next time I build a list. Only thing that would make it better is if I could order items (such as in alphabetical order) in the “completed to-dos” to make it easier to find them when building the next shopping list.
Use it!
by waldo275 on 2019/02/16 19:08
This has become a hugely helpful app for me. I use it for all kinds of lists and especially for meal planning/groceries. Works great and helps me stay organized. However, this is another app that makes me use a nickname to post a review, & every one I try is taken. Seems like this one won’t post either! I’ll try one more time & then forget it!
Categories = Productivity
by Texas Girl ! on 2019/02/16 18:33
This is great for my OCD brain. It lays out all my thoughts, projects and to do list in a nice clean format. In addition, my husband and I share a list, keeping us on the same page.
Love the app
by ben-n-mel on 2019/02/16 18:29
My husband and I use this app regularly. I love that it syncs across all devices immediately. We create use it to help us with daily tasks, lists of what not to forget to bring/pack, and grocery lists. When grocery shopping we can walk around the store in separate directions and check off each item and see what the other person has grabbed. Or my husband can add items to the list while I’m on my way to the store and it’s instantly available. This is by far one of my favorite apps. Something I wish could be different: I wish the subtasks could be shown on the main list possibly indented underneath (instead of having to click on individual items) along with a checkoff button there too. For some examples: I create a daily to do list. Main task- clean house, but I can use several subtasks to show what individual tasks fall under that category. Also can be useful when creating a meal plan (then subtasks could be which ingredients I need for each meal) or when when making a list of what to pack (it helps group items together and keep it organized and it’s not as overwhelming). As of right now we never use the subtasks mainly because if I did we’d forget to click the individual item.
Please don’t go, Wunderlist..
by LGJ J on 2019/02/16 13:56
I’m not sure Microsoft will be able to recreate the wonderful seamless functionality and appeal of this app. I know I’ll eventually be left with no choice but to go elsewhere, but for now I’ll be using Wunderlist.
Looks great after version up
by darkrsw on 2019/02/16 09:11
Many useful features are getting better.
Wunderlist vs Microsoft To Do
by Drewsterritz on 2019/02/16 03:57
Wunderlist is great! Please make sure you have fixed all the problems with Microsoft To Do and make sure to add all the features Wunderlist has to it before shutting down Wunderlist.
This deserves this rating
by litle thoughts that are needed on 2019/02/16 01:31
I hate this app it’s makes u go through all this stupid personal stuff just so u can use a to do list!!! I’d use a piece of paper if I was u!! Not trying to be rude, just honest
Love this app but have suggestions
by Maereeeeeyginfs on 2019/02/15 18:08
Hands down my favorite to do list manager. I would like to be able to switch between 2 accounts easily without signing out though as I use this for work and personal life. I would also love to upload my own background/colors. Great app though, one of my very favorites and I use it everyday.
Great app
by zimmortal on 2019/02/15 16:40
Why isn’t it working on Apple Watch anymore?
Great for my at-home practice
by ~ailuros~ on 2019/02/15 12:54
I mainly use Wunderlist for my at-home massage practice. I have two lists, one for prepping for a client and one for after the appointment. What really drew me to Wunderlist is that I can easily rearrange the items in my lists (which comes in handy if you’re putting a list together that needs to have a certain order to it), and I can check and uncheck items, effectively using the same lists continually. Being able to change the background image is a nice perk as well.
Best life and project organizer
by ThiagoBrazil2013 on 2019/02/15 11:27
I use it mainly for everything. From grocery list, to university projects and also for preparing my bag for short trips.
Sign in fails
by bluehippo77 on 2019/02/15 06:28
I’ve used Wunderlist for years. I used to love it but quality has been going downhill. After the latest update, I was automatically signed out and now I’m unable to log in. The buttons on the “do you want to save your password” screen don’t work (you can’t get past the screen). When I close and reopen the app to try again, it immediately errors out telling me my organization doesn’t let me use Wunderlist (not true as it was working before). I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times and it still doesn’t work. I’m fed up with it, but need to access my lists. (FWIW, I’m using a msft work account.)
It’s OK. Can improve
by Alisaviews on 2019/02/15 03:10
I use Wunderlist but can’t say it’s 100% user friendly. But it’s free and ad free. So won’t complain ❤️
Love it love it
by Ajax1949 on 2019/02/14 20:13
Getting a lot more done. Very user friendly.
Please don’t kill it
by Guy from WY on 2019/02/14 16:57
I understand MS has bought them and are going to phase it out, but my hope is that they can be convinced to let it continue. Integrating into Outlook would be great, but losing the functionality we have all come to enjoy would sad indeed. The last time I looked at ms To-Do, it paled in comparison.
So thankful for this app
by Daaaaaannnnnniiiiiiii on 2019/02/14 07:17
Honestly, it’s so life changing. You think of something, you jot it down and you never forget things ever again. Just download the app. You won’t regret it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

by computergran on 2019/02/13 23:24
Love this app!! I see people in stores and want to tell them to get rid of their paper lists. This is so much better. I also use it for my to do lists and they are actually getting done! Many thanks to the genius who came up with this idea!
Could not sign in
by Galatea on 2019/02/13 21:36
It said my email already existed, but won't let me sign in even after resetting the password.
Helpful, easy to use
by pmblz on 2019/02/13 18:39
I use it for everything, and I’m so glad I found it. I use the individual topic, for example, Grocery store, then I list each item I need from the store under Subtasks. And delete/remove them as I put them in my cart.
No more “Herding Cats” for me!
by Suerondi on 2019/02/13 16:39
Wife, two young kids, 4K sqft house on two acres, VP of sales for a major hospitality company and various other projects translates to “herding cats” in trying to keep on track. I tried a dozen different list programs to help me stay organized but everyone of them had some glitch that forced me back to my pad and pen. Maybe it is the weed from college or I’m getting old, but even my pad and pen was failing me. Someone recommended Wunderlist to me and I reluctantly tried it....WOW. Simply put, it is the best I have ever had and I am using it for every aspect of my life. The service is awesome too; I screwed something up really bad and needed things reset w/o losing my lists. Kiron in customer service was instrumental in getting me back to normal very quickly and could not have been nicer fixing a problem that I caused. I highly recommend Wunderlist!
So so
by lamewebsiteapp on 2019/02/13 14:54
It grabbed everyone in my contact list and I can’t get them off. Now everyone gets my shopping lists. 🤬🤬
Never forget groceries again!
by MrTheEdgeSTB on 2019/02/13 14:48
We love this app! Originally got it to keep in synch on groceries (my wife discovered the app). We both update it all the time, for regular grocery trips, Costco, and specialty trips. We then expanded usage to things like meals, films, packing (for trips) and even shared it out with the kids for input on travel and vacation meals/restaurant ideas. It does have some UI quirks, but nothing that could convince me not to use this. For our use case, Wunderlist fits the bill and gets used almost daily. The only time I come home from the store without something now, is if one of us forgot to put it on the list! 🙂
Awesome
by nekev707 on 2019/02/13 13:56
Excellent! I needed it in my life! One of the best apps ever
Will not let me login unless I give the app access to contacts and other items.
by Penguindad on 2019/02/13 13:38
No. I don’t want to give this app access to my private information. You can’t login if you tell it no.

good, but...
by BigPapaP on 2019/02/13 04:59
This is a great app and i use it regularly, BUT, it has frequent freeze ups and other odd problems. If these were to be fixed (one seems to happen often when switching from airplane mode to wifi mode), then this review would give 5 stars without hesitation. But, until then it must have 2 stars only because this problem has begun disrupting my workflows and is at this time quite a nuisance.

Simple functionality that is intuitive. Hallelujah! I LOVE that you can move your todos up the list depending on importance and that it keeps the completed items just in case you forget.
How to save my lists to iCloud?
by alpha root! on 2019/02/13 03:01
I like the app and find it very useful. The only major complaint I have about the Wunderlist app. is that I cannot get my iPhone 7 Plus list of to-do items to sync with my 12.9” iPad Pro gen ll. Nor vice-versa. I haven’t figured out how to get my Wunderlist to save to iCloud. Am I missing something?
Doesn’t work

Great App!! Needs a few updates
by Mandreger on 2019/02/11 18:30
All in all this is a fantastic app. It would be nice if reminders that are past due and still incomplete would stay at the top of page and provide the option in settings to give additional alerts reminding these are past due

Awesomest!
by ruggedjetta on 2019/02/11 14:36
I’ve been using Wunderlist for at least six years now. As a frequent traveler, I’ve been able to refine my packing list, an thru the years, I like how my lists are automatically transferred from device to device as they get upgraded. Awesome app made “awesomer” by being free :)
Can’t create account/login (error 422)
by reweiveReviewer on 2019/02/11 03:43
Just wasted about 20 min trying to create an account and login, getting the login prompt over a dozen times and cycling through the same process until I started getting error 422 repeatedly. Restarted the app and kept having the same issue. Was using the right Microsoft Live account and password and verified. I’ll adjust my score once this issue is resolved. I recommend defaulting to Google based login rather than Microsoft Live. Sorting by Most Recent reviews, I noticed several others have reported the same issue.
My life organized!
by verap on 2019/02/11 02:22
Love this app! It’s the only thing (so far) that helps me stay organized. It keeps all my to-do lists in one place and I am able to access from different devices as needed. The lists stay up today across all devices with sync feature. I have some of my co-workers hooked on it too!
Great App, but....
by raillanza on 2019/02/11 01:43
Needs search function. Also, should be able to sort list items at an time.
Just perfect
by Blessed3 on 2019/02/10 20:27
I use this always so I don't forget anything when I go to the store. I can add categories too!
A small category
by Triglyph on 2019/02/10 19:19
There are for me very few apps that fit into the “absolutely essential” category but Wonderlist is one of them. For me, it’s at the top of that list.
Very useful app!
by Frankinchobee on 2019/02/10 18:39
I use this app even more than my email or calendar apps. It's simple to use and really makes it easy for me to organize my daily routine of tasks. If you're looking for a solution to organizing your day, look no further than this amazing app. I've tried other similar apps and I always come back to this one. Thanks to the developers who created and maintain this app, it really does make my life easier.
Most useful app
by CSD review on 2019/02/10 12:47
My husband and I both love Wunderlist and use it daily. We keep shopping lists, a to do list, a list of restaurants and things we like or do not like from each and even a list of foods our cats like or refuse to eat. It is very easy to share lists or to keep them private. I consider Wunderlist as one of my top most useful apps.

BEST organization app I’ve EVER used!
by ShakiraShakiraYo on 2019/02/08 04:23
My whole life needs be organized with lists so this app is a godsend! I can have different folders and lists to keep notes on all aspects of my life (work, school, chores, etc.). I love that you can view your completed to-do’s (they’re not just deleted), how easy it is to move to-do’s from list to list, and the way you can edit, set time-based reminders, and add comments to each to-do. I especially love that you can use the application on both your laptop and phone, making it extremely accessible at all times. The app makes checking off a completed task so satisfying, especially with the cute sound it makes when you tap the “check” box. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a simple path to good organizational skills!
Great app, few flaws holding it back
by BillyBraunk on 2019/02/07 23:29
Love the app, I have used it for several years for both my personal and family task management. My biggest issue with the app is that it freezes about once every day or two and requires me to shut down the app, wait about 20 seconds, then reopen it. Also, if badge notifications could show up without having to first load the application that would be extremely helpful for repeated reminders.
Best To Do App
by Christina.SCF on 2019/02/07 19:57
I love it. I love the flexibility. You can have one simple list, or lists in folders and share them with friends, family, co-workers. One of my top 5 favorite apps.

Great
by Kronoxide on 2019/02/07 01:37
My girlfriend and I love it. What a great way to keep track of groceries and chores and all sorts of things. We make special lists when we’re on vacation, and it has helped us organize our lives much better than we were able to do on our own. I love seeing technology being able to make life easier and more functional.
Account tethering broke it
by McNorris1776 on 2019/02/06 19:27
I’ve been a very happy user of Wunderlist for the last year. However, I just installed the app on my new iPad, and at first I couldn’t find an option to sign in without using Microsoft credentials. Since I already have an account not attached to my Microsoft credentials, I was flummoxed. It took quite a bit of work to find my way to the appropriate sign-in page. (It required selecting “Create new account” and then selecting “Sign in with existing account” on the subsequent page.) So one star removed for making sign-in so obtuse.
Legit the best to do list app
by aiiiiimee on 2019/02/06 18:51
I LOVE this app and would be lost without it. You can set it up to send you email reminders and share lists with people, it’s dope. Just wish you could add your own background instead of the photos/colors they offer.

Love it! Especially great for grocery lists...
by Wunder fan on 2019/02/06 13:09
I use this for many things and especially for making grocery lists. The ability to reorder the items (which I do to group according to location in store) is great and to be able to check items off list & clear from screen is so much easier than pen & paper. Displaying only the items left on list as you check each item keeps me from missing them :).
Great tool for organizing a multi faceted project
by Too many Penguins on 2019/02/06 13:04
Moved to a new house with acreage and am planning many different gardens. I am able to have several categories with lists and sub-lists. Items can be moved based on priority. I do wish there was a feature to choose whether to keep a completed item or completely erase it. Overall, this app does much more than I expected a free app to do.

I’ve used Wunderlist for six or seven years now, and now for my job I’ve introduced it to my team. We use it to share extremely valuable tool for our daily workflow. I love this app even though it can sometimes be a little glitchy.
Works very well; Wife & I have used for years
by Henry the Navigator on 2019/02/05 16:43
Great for coordinated shopping in giant stores (e.g. warehouses, super stores). Usually it provides timely, shared updates so we don’t get the same items. Auto debit/ACH bills and address change lists work well here. Though you can sort lists & sublists, WISH: 1. Departments could be added & grouped for simplified shopping. Work-around is adding abbreviated department at beginning of each item…tedious, so my wife does not do, nor does she think that way. 2. Track frequent purchases, allow them to be sorted first…if desired.
Best app!

Extremely glitchy and impossible to sign in
by Dissapointed1_5 on 2019/02/05 10:57
I used to have this app on my old phone and really liked it but I tried to use it on a new phone and the sign in process is horrendous, I had to create a new account and every time I go to sign in it says ok you’re signed in you can close this window and then redirects me right back to sign in again or says my email doesn’t exist. Very frustrating, tried for over 10 minutes to sign in and nothing worked.

Wunderlist is my favorite list app

Wunderlist lets you rearrange the tasks by select and slide. It lets you chose whether new tasks go to the top or bottom of your list. I can share lists, print list, add to my calendar or assign tasks to my partner. I can use it on my desktop and it syncs quickly to my phone. I was an early adopter of Wunderlist. It’s added new features without compromising the simplicity.

This is about the handiest gadget a person could ever have. It really cuts down on confusion and increases my productivity! Easy to organize many tasks!

One of the most useful apps I have found. The share feature allows the user the to update the list items or tasks on the fly while it simultaneously updates everyone in the shared list. The developer was very responsive to my questions and quickly provided me answers.
Simple, clean, full featured

I would maybe add calendar integration, but otherwise, I like it a lot.
Rearranging list items is extremely frustrating
by Evan Keal on 2019/02/04 12:05
Just go ahead and try rearranging items on a list. It’s the most ridiculous experience. It’s a supposed to be a “long tap” to activate the ability to rearrange items on a list, but if you don’t do the right kind of “long tap” all these stupid useless windows (cards) show up.
Need to bring back iWatch support
by MURF5TER on 2019/02/04 09:26
The whole reason I picked this app over any other was because it had iWatch support on it and in one of the the updates they removed it. Wouldn’t recommend to iWatch users until that returns. But other that that I work great for what I need it for. It’s just a pain to have to get my phone out all the time when I am grocery shopping.

Great to-do list app!

I LOVE this app! I am able create different lists and I love checking them off once done. Very rewarding.
Love it

I use this app to create all kinds of lists and I can go back and retrieve old list items I have already completed. I even use this to track my gym work out when I lift. It’s perfect for my needs.
More options?

Functional, needs a few fixes
by Brenn456 on 2018/05/29 17:32
This app is the first to-do list app I've tried, and it's fine. It's obviously better than just making a list in my phone notes, but there are a couple of simple flaws that consistently bother me when I use it, which is often. First, an interface flaw: the app is extremely particular about where you have to tap in order to check off an item. On the main list this is not so bad, but the issue comes when I am checking items off a subtask list- if I tap too far in the direction of the item name, nothing happens, but if I tap too far to the edge of the screen I am flung back to the parent list. Intuitively, this function should only activate if I swipe right, not if I just tap too far to the left. It's a small thing, but I really use those sub-lists and it's a real pain to constantly have to be going back into the sub-list that I never intentionally left. Second, an easy feature that I'd like to see that maybe is available in a paid upgrade (I haven't checked): I use the same few lists repeatedly (e.g. a packing list), and once I have checked all items off a list, I have to manually and individually mark each item as incomplete in order to use the list again. It seems like there should be some kind of "mark all" feature. So maybe my needs are just really particular, but those two things would make this app pretty much perfect for me. Thanks, Wunderlist!
Best free To-Do list manager
by kevmartian on 2017/03/10 01:55
Update March 2017: I still think this is the best free to do list manager, but I have been considering switching to todoist because the updates to this app are few and far between. There still are not location-based reminders, and since iOS 10, there is a problem where background sync isn't working. I reported it months ago, Wunderlist replied that they were aware and working on a fix, but it is still an issue. I want to support this app and I really appreciate the strong free version; however, I wish they would give the iOS app a bit more love. Original review: This is a great to-do list manager. The free version is functional enough to use for most people, as opposed to todoist's very limited free version. I appreciate all the platforms Wunderlist is compatible with. The OSX app is good and the I use the chrome extension at work and it is reliable and well designed. I wish subtasks showed separate from the main task and that I could swipe a task to mark it complete. From the lock screen, it would be nice to have options for snoozing a notification instead of just marking complete. Those are three very small gripes for a great free app though. I would consider purchasing the pro version if it was a bit cheaper and it had location based reminders. I also enjoy the nice backgrounds. Thanks for the great work.
Room For Improvement
by Book Fan 7 on 2017/07/08 22:10
This is certainly among the elite productivity apps out there. I've tried my share of free and paid task list apps and I found it so useful that I subscribed to the pro version. It works perfectly most of the time. However, there are two functionality issues. The first issue is the occasional lag in background synch, which leaves my lists not fully updated after changes, so I have to wait or log in again. The second issue is the "problem with our servers" message when I go to sign in. This forces me to have enter my info a second, third, or fourth time until I can get into the app. Admittedly, these two issues do not occur very often. Unfortunately, though, often enough to be irritating when I want to log info quickly. I'm not sure whether this is an issue because I have iOS 10 software or whether the same happens to any of you other users out there using other platforms. One more critique involves the backgrounds. It would be a good compliment to the app to have new backgrounds added in with the next update. The existing ones can become rather stale, and the appearance of this app is just as important as its practical use. The wallpapers set it apart from boring one color background to do apps. These changes would certainly merit a five star rating in my opinion. 👌🏻
Best Task Manager.
by ilovenotetakingapps on 2018/02/26 01:06
If you’re looking for the best, this is it. The only issue I have with this app is that the original owners and app designers from Germany sold this software to Microsoft (as I understand it anyway). I really don’t care who owns it as long as it keeps being Wunderlist. No other app even compares. It’s pleasant to use. The aesthetics are amazing. You must love the look and feel of your productivity apps. One of the more important aspects of todo lists are quick summaries. Wunderlist does this very well, especially when it comes to subtasks. Wunderlist is one of the only app that gives you a settle progress bar. So as you check off subtasks you know how far you are advancing in your main task. It probably is one of my favorite features. I also love pressing the star to mark the tasks I want to focus on for the day, week, month whatever you want to label it. I use it for tasks I want to tackle for the week. Everything about Wunderlist is amazing. I have used all of the other task management applications and haven’t found anything close. While I don’t like that it was sold, I can certainly live with it as long as it doesn’t change too much by taking any of the top features that cause me to love it oh so very much!!! <3
Organizing My Life
by Mister13ub on 2017/06/28 15:09
I am one of those people that can't seem to keep anything straight, whether it's picking something up from the store, remembering what to pack for a trip, or completing a specific task at work. Wunderlist allows me to enter both personal and professional "To-Do's", complete with due dates, as well as the ability to add reminders to each task if need be. Additionally, there is a very good free app for both Windows and macOS, which automatically sync with your phone, so whether you're adding things or checking them off from your laptop, desktop, phone, or tablet, everything stays up to date. And the computer applications allow you to print out hard copies of your lists in case you're better about keeping track of outstanding items on paper. Lastly, you can create "To-Do's" for others, and get notifications when they check those items off. So if you have someone working under you and they have specific tasks to complete, you can use this program as a way to keep track of what they have outstanding. I'm not sure how I kept track of everything before Wunderlist, but I'm really glad I don't have to do that, whatever it was, anymore.
Suggestions! :)9
by susiewonder on 2019/01/24 14:06
Hi Wunderlist, I enjoy your list app and would like to keep using it regularly, but I just wish there were a few adjustments. One is I like the “plus sign” add feature on the main page, but it seems to only be a shortcut to add a single list item. It would be great if it also gave you the option to add new folder, add new list with that same add button, not just a single item. I know there is a “create list” option at the bottom of the user’s lists but the plus sign is so much more intuitive, and I have a lot of lists to scroll down :). There are a couple preferences I personally would super appreciate too. For list items: to show the user’s whole title of the list item instead of restricting it to a single line. For sub-tasks: to show these on the main list, indented in, as opposed to only when you open up that single list item. I think it makes sense to make the subtasks restricted to a single line on the main view. It just makes it so much easier for me to see exactly what I have to do, and what items require a little more portioning out / time management. Thank you!! I enjoy using your app! I have tried a few different list apps and tend to come back to yours.
I love Wunderlist
by Atlanta45879 on 2017/02/26 14:21
Now I'm able to capture all the big and little tasks and ideas that flash to mind at inconvenient moments and either preserve them for later consideration or schedule them to an appropriate time. This app helps me focus on goals, the necessary next steps to reach them, and schedule actions to appropriate times so I make rapid progress to completion. I use some long repeating lists of tasks to help me not forget some critical steps on days when I feel overwhelmed and my mind starts to fog. I cut and paste items I read about for shopping lists that I can refer to when in appropriate store. I started with a general Mind Dump list and gradually refined it into categories and folders of lists. I love that I can go through the huge list(s), schedule dates for specific needed actions, and then look at today or this week and only see what I need to focus on now and the near future. My life feels more coherent with the help of Wunderlist . Calls get made, needed components purchased, bills paid, desired habits strengthened, small but critical actions completed to help me move toward important goals.
My shrink recommended this!
by Geofred49 on 2017/08/31 18:17
I am 66 years old and am developing noticeable memory problems. Amongst the practical recommendations (Including things like taking a photo of where I parked my car at the mall) my shrink suggested using a synchronized to-do app with my wife, coworkers, and close friends. She recommended specifically Wunderlist and after using it for a while I can see why. Other than some annoying and awkwardly editable dictation translation errors… it is flawless. Grocery and ToDo lists are defaults but you can add any other projects and track them separately. Any specific person is invited to share and complete items in any of your lists. They can't see the others. My memory problems are said to be "age-appropriate". Wanderlust (dictation error! 😄) has helped save me from those little embarrassing problems of forgetfulness. Hey developers, how about it… Particularly for the grocery list, I would love to be able to copy several "completed" grocery items and paste them back into the list rather than having to type/dictate each one back in manually.
The right balance! My External Brain!
by Leylee22 on 2017/02/22 01:14
I love Wunderlist and use it as my external brain! Tracking to-dos is merely a way of remembering what to do and that is not really helpful when you intent to complete those to-dos and have multiple action items along the way with no real end date in concrete. That's where the others get it wrong as they all seem to be geared towards the annoying today, tomorrow, and calendar way of tracking. But with wunderlist I am able to track the task, what I want the outcome to be, and all the action items that come up along the way. Plus little notes, reminders, and yes deadlines when I need them. Basically this has helped me manage my personal and professional life. But like anyone geared towards reducing stress and owning their lives, interactions, projects, tasks, and promises you have to commit to it. Check Wunderlist regularly and and focus on the use of it to maintain you external brain so you can finally get some of this open loop task geared annoyances out of your brain and focus on what is in front of you. TLDR - seriously good app if you commit
You get out what you put in!

I love this app and have been using it for many years. This has saved me from using several other apps since it has so many functions. Personal goals, grocery lists, big and large projects, school, work, so many uses for Wunderlist! The ability to add subtasks, due dates, reminders, priority, and even notes have come in handy for everything (including our home remodel!) I have used the app for work as well where I could add items and tasks in real time on a shared list for my expeditor, this saved him from having to answer phone calls or write notes down, simply check the app when he stops. Being able to sync your list over multiple devices has been an invaluable help also. On your desktop-it’s there, on your phone-it’s there. Easy for those of us who like to pretend our to-do lists don’t exist. If you can add the items and remember to check it on a regular basis (frequency depending on your lists and what you are trying to accomplish) you will get everything out you put in and so much more!
You need this app!
by selinson on 2018/11/11 16:50
I use this app every day and I love it. I keep lists for projects I’m working on with step by step instructions with the sub-list function. I love that I can use this on the internet to copy and paste items to my list and then it syncs to my phone to use on-the-go. I keep lists of restaurants I want to try, books to buy, music to buy, garden chores, etc. I create lists to remember campsites I like so I know which one to reserve in the future. I keep a packing list for cold weather vacations, warm weather vacations and music festivals so I don’t have to figure out what to bring each time and I now never forget to pack that all important jacket or extra batteries. I keep a list of what I’d like to cook next week so I know what recipes to check when I make my grocery list. I have a lists to help me remember what to buy next time I’m at a hardware store, Target, Costco, Office store, etc. I love this tool so much I’ve turned several of my friends into Wunderlist disciples now and they all love it as well!
Abandoned app! Don’t download!
by ButMadNNW on 2018/04/23 22:06
I’ve used Wunderlist exclusively for all my task organization needs since 2011. I credit this app with helping me survive graduate school, it keeps me organized as a freelancer, my family uses it for shared lists, and I have recommended it to so many people over the past seven years. It’s been the most useful organization tool in my arsenal. Today, I was experiencing trouble getting my tasks to sync between my iPhone and MacBook apps, so went online looking to see if there was a reported server issue. What I found instead is the news that at some indeterminate point in the future Wunderlist is going to be abandoned because the company, which was bought out by Microsoft several years ago, is focusing everything on a new Microsoft-branded app. I knew at the time that Microsoft buying them out was bad news, but I never thought this would happen. I never thought they’d abandon the incredible app that brought them the success to be noticed by Microsoft and abandon all the loyal users of that app. In fact, I’m pretty sure they promised at the time that this wouldn’t happen. Now I have to hunt for a suitable replacement before they shut down Wunderlist and I lose my task lists. Not at all happy.
Must Have App
by Silvrwood on 2017/09/10 17:32
I have reviewed this app before and continue to love it but just want to add a few wish list items: 1. Completed sub-task items should auto-sort to the bottom or be hidden when the overall option to show completed items is not checked. 2. There should be an option for lefties that moves the check boxes to the left. When my son uses the app and tries to check off a sub-task, he ends up hitting the pane to the left, which closes the sub-task view. He then tries to re-open the window, but ends up hitting the checkbox for the task, marking it as complete. Then when I mark it as incomplete, all my sub-task statuses are set back to incomplete, and I have to go back through and figure out which ones I still need to do. 3. There should be an option to set the master device for syncing, or to disable it. I had to uninstall the app from another device because every time I turned it on, it synced the app and overwrote the statuses on my main device, instead of overwriting the statuses on the freshly powered up device.
Organizes every element of life!
by SDinLA on 2017/07/08 17:12
I am always seeking great tools to organize both my work and personal lives. But nothing ever gave me an all-in-one. Old-school organizers are clunky and have to be carried. The task list app never was robust enough and making notes gets lost. I tried a zillion apps until Wunderlist came into my life. With the ability to not just create lists...but overall categories. The categories can then be placed into folders. Each list you create has the ability for sub-lists. You can add notes. Attachments. Photos. You can assign deadlines and get reminders (or not just as easily). You can share lists with others and collaborate. And best of all? It syncs across every device. So I have it on my iPhone, iPad, and it even has a great desktop platform I keep open while at work. So as you travel or wherever you go - you have your life organized at your fingertips. It's changed my life. And it's nice and slick looking too. I highly recommend this app!
Best of the options
by Lexifin1717 on 2017/12/06 02:45
Edit: I stand corrected! The Apple Watch does have an option to view all lists! This is OFFICIALLY the best option out there (and I tried a lot out looking for this kind of tri-platform functionality)! Siri functionality and location based reminders would still be great, but that’s just being picky! Original review:This app used to be my life, but I eventually moved away because phone sync lagged and my phone notifications lagged along with it. Now I’m back and happy to see the issues seem to be mostly resolved. The app is extremely helpful in terms of organizing tasks, setting reminders, and is available for all your platforms. I use it on my Mac, iPhone, and Apple Watch One thing I will say though, the Apple Watch app could be improved. I was in need of an app that would sync across my platforms and give me a Watch alert when on the go, which Wanderlist does and I’m eternally thankful, but the app itself on the watch could be more user friendly. It exclusively shows the “Today” or inbox/assigned lists with no option to view further in the week or organize by other lists, which would make the world of a difference. I’ve tried changing some of the settings so if it is possible, it isn’t syncing properly to actually carry out. Now if a location service was introduced, the app would be unbeatable! But for now it’s definitely the best of the options I’ve come across!
All in all, a great app
by sillygirl99 on 2019/01/17 14:33
Yes, there are a few quirks to Wunderlist, but for a free app like this? I’ll still give it 5 stars because it has more features than most apps of this type, you don’t get interrupted by ads all the time while using it & Wunderlist has more functionality than most “free” apps of this type on the App Store. Yes, it can get a tiny bit persnickety when you tap the wrong item in the app, some people complained about this in other apps, but...isn’t this how ALL apps act? If you you choose the wrong action you have you go back to the beginning? Yes, they are. I think what the others are referring to is if you forget where you need to start a list, it’s easy to get caught up in a place you didn’t intend to go in Wunderlist. BUT, it’s just as easy to get back to where you need to be. Wunderlist is great for shopping lists, I LOVED it & used it often this last Christmas season! And I use it for groceries all the time. If you’re looking for an app that helps you to create & organize a list? This is a great choice! I love it. Just take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with it & you’ll be fine, the interface is intuitive & easy to navigate...if anything, the vast array of features on Wunderlist might be what is causing the confusion...it’s so much more than just a “shopping list” app. I’ve recommended this app to other iPhone users & they’ve loved it as well.
Great app
by SliktsKakis on 2018/10/29 05:55
I have been using Wunderlist for good 3 years now and have never wanted to switch to any other to-do list app. This app meets meets my needs completely, and I love that it’s free. I appreciate the simple yet elegant interface, and being able to create folders to group lists is definitely a bonus. I certainly appreciate the ability to repeat certain tasks, as I use this all the time to remind me to do routine things around the house, bills and birthdays coming up etc. I most frequently use this app for a shopping list, and it’s such a life saver! I have had no issues with app ever crashing, and it syncs among all my devices with no issues. One major, major area of improvement that has been neglected at least over the years I’ve used the app is definitely wallpapers/ backgrounds... nothing new has popped up, come on you guys? Please add some new wallpapers to keep things fresh. That is the only reason I am rating the app at 4 stars! Thank youuu
A great tool but needs certain features/functionality
by RaulLucky on 2018/07/05 15:40
I recently switched to Wunderlist since Appigo decided to stop further development on the ToDo app which sync’d with iCloud. Likes: Ease of use, easily syncs between desktop and other mobile devices. I look forward to trying out the shared list feature with my kids. Multiple lists. Clean interface. Some areas I think would make the app better: 1. When selecting dates for a task, why not use a month-at-a-glance view instead of the date selector? I like to plan some due dates based on the day of the week so it would be nice to look at a month view calendar and select the day/date. 2. One nice feature I liked about Appigo’s ToDo was the ability to force touch (on iPhone) or touch and hold (iPad) a task and quickly move the due date to: -today -tomorrow -next week -no due date This saves several steps when rescheduling tasks as I don’t always get to complete everything on my todo lists. 3. Ability to set hi/med/low priority for tasks. 4. Ability to move a subtask between parent tasks or even make the subtask “into” a parent task. 5. Why not have the option to sync with iCloud? Just having features 1, 2 and 3 would be extremely helpful. Having features 4 would take Wunderlist onto another level. Function 5 is more of a nice-to-have. I look forward to the new updates and keep up the great work!
Good so far for a free list app!
by Sam941bklyn on 2019/01/05 00:59
I had been using Todoist for the longest time, but recently gave it up because I was sick of paying for features that should come free *ahem* push notifications. Wunderlist is robust with features for FREE, and I’m loving it. I appreciate how quick it is to add subtasks and they don’t get somehow stuck under other parent tasks. Plus the smart lists to show my upcoming tasks due or see all my tasks in one view are great. The ONE thing so far that’s missing that I would love to see is a calendar view that shows when setting a task due date. Sometimes I just know that something needs to be done “next Monday” but I don’t know what date that is. So then I have to count out the days between now and when that next Monday is. Not as quick for due date entry as I would appreciate when I have to flip to my Google Cal app to see what the upcoming dates for days of the week are.
Makes my day!

Don’t have to run to the store all the time. Especially around dinner time when I’m cooking. Just put it on the list which lets my son know he has to stop on the way home. Have two grocery lists, one for him for after work and another one for my regular list of groceries. This one is for things I’m out of that we all add too when we notice we are short on it or out of. I check before doing my shopping to make sure there are no doubles and off we go. I also separate it into two lists so that our shopping goes faster. My son and my grandson take one list I take the other. Goes much faster takes less time. Love this app. Also list our movies that we want to buy or the ones we want to go to the theater to see. Have a separate list for my sewing and hobbies. Also one for my books if they are in a series.
Good
by Dre Fordham on 2017/09/05 00:20
I just got this and they are asking me to rate it because I have opened it twice. So far I like this and can see that it will work well. I have not seen any notifications pop up yet because it is too soon but looking forward to using this in a longer capacity. Edit: 6 years later. I love this app so much. It can never be taken away, I'll be lost. I forgot about updating my review, I pulled this up to show a friend and saw my long ago review. So I guess I've used it in a "longer capacity" now. LOL Being able to connect with my family about what needs to be done is what really brings this home for me. It's visually nice to look at, which seems silly to mention, but it makes planning and organizing fun. And all of us checking off tasks feels good. I'll be at work and see something is done and it feels so nice!
Really good but not 5 stars
by KyleG83 on 2017/02/24 18:52
Update 2017: I'm still a Wunderlist user but I have been shopping a lot. Since I last wrote a review (below) they still have not updated the repeat functionality. It's been 4 years. Nor have they updated mac or iOS for at least 2 years if not longer. Wunderlist, don't forget your apple users. Ever since Microsoft bought Wunderlist the apple customers have received ZERO updates or feedback. This is unacceptable. If you are in the fence like me. Look at todoist or Remember the milk. Previous review: There are great things about wunderlist that everyone has mentioned and I agree but the one function that is more limited than it needs to be is the repeats. For some reason you cannot repeat on every "Tuesday and Thursday" or weekdays only or weekends only. I know there is a work around on this of making multiple different tasks with repeats, but this is a hassle. My other complaint that drops this down to a 4 is a few times I have lost lists when leaving a shared list. This was a huge hassle and has happened more than once. I would love to see in an update the addition of better repeat functionality and due dates for sub tasks. With due dates on sub tasks and the ability to assign these to others, you would truly have business version of the app.
GOOD but not GREAT
by AndrewP MD on 2018/11/02 12:45
I really appreciate integration with the Outlook app and Google calendar, but I have a couple minor gripes: 1. Within a list there is both an ‘Edit’ button at the top right and if you click ‘More’ in the lower right there is an additional ‘Edit List’ option. This is redundant and confusing since they allow the user to perform different actions. Rename one or find a way to combine them. 2. When I check off a daily recurring task it remains within the list, but only says ‘tomorrow’ rather than ‘today’ this makes it difficult to tell which tasks I have actually completed and often results in accidentally checking off tomorrow’s reminders today. 3. Notifications remain in the activity tab even after the associated to-do has been checked off. This means I get badge notifications on the Wunderlist app even when I have a no active to-dos. Otherwise... really useful app! Just a couple quirks.
Most Effective and User Friendly Action/To-Do App
by SLRymer on 2018/12/18 11:56
I have tried a LOT of Action Tracker Apps and To-Do lists. This is by far the most effective easy to use one. Very easy to organize lists in folders and has a good sharing function with multiple users. I use it for both Home and Work. I love the comment function that is tied to each action so that if you are using it as a shared list with others at work, the owner can update it with comments and others can see the updates so that if they are representing in meetings, can see the changes and report out on status changes. It also has a good reminder system and also a repetitive task option which has helped me setup items around the house that need to get done that I Always forget about (air filters, water filters, etc)
Best list App

Love Wunderlist! My husband and I have been using it for like 3 years now! It has sharing capabilities and so we both put things on our shopping list and whoever happens to go shopping knows what to get. It syncs through the internet so my hubby can be at the store and I can put things on the list and he will get them. You can make as many lists as you want too! Because we travel a lot, another list we share is a packing list. That way I can pack everything except certain things he wants to pack so we can be ready to go without saying one word except, "did you put everything you need on Wunderlist?" Then I have a list for me for baby names, books recommended to me, movies, etc. it's a great App and I highly recommend it and I have told many of my friends about it!
Bring back the old Search function and it will be the best app ever
by Luke from chicago on 2018/02/28 15:19
I’ve used this app for business prospect tracking for the last 4 years. When I first got the app I loved it and tracked every single sales call on it and checked it off when I was done. However, the recent updates have eliminated one of my favorite features of the application. Previously you were able to search any word that was in the variety of lists and it would bring up every list that had that word in it. This feature made this app the best one on the market. But once they got rid of that, the saving and syncing aspect of it has gone down in quality and some lists have been completely erased with no option to recover... If history repeats itself like they say it does, this app has potential to come back to the top of the best organizational apps ever, but until then, it’s harder to use and to trust.
Use it all the time, but needs to be updated
by Mon&Bon on 2018/12/21 15:42
My wife and I use the app all the time. Love the features like list sharing and the ability to add items real time. This is helpful when you’re at the store and the spouse remembers something else needed. Just add to the list and sync. Love the ability to creat a list with sub lists. I use this for travel, hunting and fishing checklists. I wish the program had the ability to sort and search checked off items. Once you use the program for a while your grocery list will get quite extensive and scrolling through trying to find the items causes duplicates to be added to the list. The ability to sort A-Z and a search option on both checked and unchecked items would make the app even better.
Good App
by Paxer3 on 2018/07/07 17:43
I’ve been using this app for a few months now, and I like it a lot. I like the organizational capability, and the syncing between my iOS devices happens much more accurately than the previous app that I used. I would really like to see a tweaking of the alphabetize feature so that it works on the completed list as well as the active list. There are several lists that I re-use often (grocery list, travel packing list, etc.), and I check each item off as I take care of it. But when I want to uncheck several items and move them from the completed list to the active list, I have to scroll down manually to find each one I want. If the alphabetize feature could work on the completed list as well as the active list, that would make re-using the list more efficient and much less frustrating.
Love this app!
by jus joshin' round on 2018/08/29 07:12
I use this app every day for scheduling and planning. It works for remembering all items on my to-do list, from daily tasks to long-term goals to grocery lists. If I make a grocery list and share with my spouse, the list automatically updates on all devices, so if I go shopping, everyone that has access to this app can see grocery shopping is finished as soon as I mark it as complete. It also has the capability of sending email alerts when tasks are due, which is great for staying on track when life gets super busy! I heard Microsoft is planning to discontinue support for this app, but as long as it is available, I will continue to use it! Several friends and family I know also use this app. I hope this app remains usable! It is a must have!
Simple, intuitive, pretty, and very useful
by iDon7977 on 2018/01/21 16:08
I’ve been using this app for about a week and I love it so far. The biggest sell in the beginning was the ability to break down big tasks into sub tasks, but I’ve also been enjoying the simple, clean looking interface and other small features. Like the sections that let you write notes and attach files, and the reminder system has helped me remember stuff when I needed it most, and prevented me from having to manage another separate productivity up for alarms. Some other nice touches are the progress bar, which appears as a slightly darker overlay on the task in the list, which gives me a visual sense of my progress at a glance. I also like that can toggle it to show completed items, so I can review and feel accomplished at the things I’ve completed over time. I tend to stay busy and overwhelmed with ideas and to-do’s. Between my day job researching software and technical products, and my dozens of hobbies outside work, I feel grateful to have found a useful and comprehensive organizer for to-do items. Definitely worth a download. I don’t feel like I need the pro version, but I’ll probably buy it anyway just to support this good software.
Not for me
by Al Havemann on 2018/03/05 14:05
I appreciate that nearly everyone in the world is on line all the time. However, I’m not everyone. In fact I only have the absolute minimum amount of data in my plan just to get my phone to work as a phone. I have 1gb of data and I never use it because I disable cellular, Bluetooth and WiFi on my phone. If I need to go online for something I do it at home using WiFi and my iPad. I needed a reminder only because the one that came with the iPhone is nearly unusable for its intended purpose.i installed Wunderlist since it has good reviews and I didn’t have to buy it just to try it. Mind you, I’m more than willing to pay for apps but if I can’t try them out first then I won’t bother. The cost of an app is never an issue at all if it serves my need. So when the very first thing I see after installing the app is a login/create an account requirement. There’s no way to bypass it, I have to do that just to see what the app provides. I immediately deleted it because the very last thing I want is to have to have another account out there somewhere, another password to remember, another annoyance. Any app I have needs to save the data locally, on the device, nowhere else. Period. I’m sure this is a good app, it gets good reviews, but being forced to use it only online is a non-starter for me.
Pretty great!
by spritelywench on 2018/08/27 23:40
This app is something my wife and I are trying to keep each other up to date on things, and for my wife to clarify and keep straight for herself the things she needs to take care of in a timely manner. Her ADHD makes it harder for her to remember to do a thing and then follow through on it. By making these lists she has one place she can store everything she’s thinking about in the moment she’s thinking of it, a way to check it off when it’s done, and a way to set an alarm for a timed event. Plus, we can share lists and assign tasks with each other so collectively we get important things done as well. So far, really enjoying it! I do wish it would have location based reminders, and a couple more customizable settings where notifications are concerned, but overall works great!
Best to-do app (sad they're facing it out)
by jderailed on 2017/10/23 04:36
Wunderlist is vastly superior to the novel Microsoft To-Do. Why is Microsoft facing it out? We probably know the answer, but they're gonna leave us with a far inferior app. Wunderlist has everything, from flexibility to integration with other software and apps. For one, I can mark articles I find on twitter as to-dos. I can do the same when navigating on chrome (although they haven't fixed the bug that makes the lists crash yet) or explorer. It's so much lighter an efficient than the evernote add-ins, that makes using the latter a total waste of time. MTD still doesn't offer any of these valuable features as they keep focusing on the color schemes. I'll keep using W in the foreseeable future, at least until MS faces it out.
If you're a list keeper, it's excellent!
by Tharfo on 2017/07/12 17:33
Because of how busy I get (full time job, wife, two kids, full time school course load) and the details all that entails, the only way I can reasonably keep track of everything I need to remember is by keeping countless lists. For this, Wunderlist is perfect. I date my coursework so it shows me when things are due, and I prioritize to track what needs to be done first. I keep a grocery list, shared with my wife, so we can both add things to it or mark them off if we pick something up individually. I have categories for household projects that keep slipping my mind, vehicle maintenance due date, and the like. I hate catch phrases like "it helped me organize my life", but it really has.
Great app! Could use small tweaks
by Halligator12 on 2018/11/21 22:44
Great app! I share lists with my husband, my boss, and my mom, and I have some that are just for me. For example: Groceries, To Pack for Vacation, To Do Around the House, and Errands. One small improvement that would be huge would be to add a way to duplicate a list. That way, lists that I use frequently could be easily repeated. It might also be helpful to have a way of color-coding items on a list or some other way of marking them out. To explain: I’m planning Thanksgiving right now, and either of these improvements would make it easier to show both the foods I have bought and the foods I have prepared...without having to make a new list from scratch.
Not as reliable as I had hoped
by CorsicanWolf on 2018/05/20 20:34
The app is functional- that is to say, it does not crash when I am using it, and the notifications work fine. It is an okay place to keep track of reminders that aren’t tied to a specific time/place (but then again, so is Apple’s bare-bones Reminders app). The Problem is this: When it comes to recurring reminders, I will mark an item as complete, but instead of it moving the due date out for the next time, Wunderlist sometimes deletes that task entirely. So in two weeks or a months’ time, when the task is due again, it will not be there and I will not be reminded. This is a failure on the most basic level, as the entire point of the app is to reliably give people the important reminders that they need. I have had to resort to a paper calendar as a backup, because I never know when Wunderlist will delete a repeated event. :(
Best app hands down
by Trevor Sean4 on 2017/04/11 20:47
Honestly, this is the most used app that I have for my phone and for my computer. I use this app for so much including organizing todos, putting together plans for events and even logging my thoughts and inspiration. Whenever I have an idea that comes to mind, so easy to create a thought or todo through Wunderlist and save it for when I can spend more time on it. Just by downloading this app, I've been more productive and so much less stressed by having this be my catch all and allowing me to keep track of everything. From doing simple easy tasks to keeping track of ideas and planning more in depth things in my life, this is hands down my favorite app
Almost perfect for me
by No ads preferred on 2018/08/25 01:13
This app meets almost all my requirements. But...it needs to be able to either set a due time or the ability to set the reminder field without a reminder alarm. I need to have my daily tasks sequenced by time due but I don’t want to have my day interrupted by frequent alarms. This could be done simply by being able to turn sounds entirely off for the app. Even better would be the ability to turn sounds off as a default but be able to turn the reminder sound on for really important items. The other major suggestion I have is to provide a priority field of none, low, medium, or high. Lastly, a more graphical interface similar that provided by the “Errands” app would be welcome. I really like the ability to work with this app both on my iPhone and my PC.
I didn't like this app UNTIL
by GinnyB94 on 2017/07/23 13:29
I loaded this app years ago to help me with my tasks for my business and my personal life. Initially, I tried it but didn't really take the time to learn it. I was stuck in tune mindset of what I was already using. I did the same thing with Evernote. Once I took the time to learn both, they have saved me sooo much frustration. I couldn't be without either. They both function flawlessly on my iPad Pro, Mac & iPhone. Why didn't I do this years ago? I am only giving it 4stars not because it isn't wonderful as is. The only thing I feel would make this complete is location reminders and label colors. These things could just about put me over the moon! Thanks for an incredible app and making free.
I couldn’t survive without it

I am a student at a college preparatory; therefore, I get so much homework it’s crazy. It makes things so easy to make a homework folder and make individual lists for each class inside so I can make sure I’ve done 100% of it. Also the function of adding due dates not only lets me know when my homework is due, but it also opens “week” and “today” lists that let me know what’s due when all in one place. Also the subtasks let me write down parts of anything I need done and I can also add notes to something to make sure I do it correctly when I go back to it. All in all, this app is necessary to staying organized, end of discussion.
Free and syncs iPhone and Windows pc
by sapienite on 2017/07/11 23:53
This is a free to-do list that has a free desktop client for Windows 10, is immediate to set up, does not require maintaining a folder structure to start using, does not require manually deleting/archiving old tasks you want completely out of the way, does not require shaking your phone to undo an accidentally checked item, automatically groups tasks by "today" versus "this week", reports all times associated to reminders in one place, and can email you at the time of a reminder. In combination with note-taking software thats also syncs (OneNote) and calendar that also syncs (gmail set up in Outlook), this is exactly what I need to get through a day.

I love this app so much! I use it all the time to plan out my days and write down reminders. The performance of this app is amazing and it is super easy to use. There is just one thing that would be nice if you would add. On the page that shows all of your lists I feel you should add a color option so that it isn’t just plain white. I’m more of a color oriented person and if there were more colors throughout the app it would motivate people to finish their tasks more. Also it would be great if there were a way to change the color of your lists on the home page so that you can color coat which list matter most. But otherwise this app is perfect and I would recommend it to anyone.
UI works well for new users, has lots of room to improve for active users
by KBapp on 2017/08/06 13:54
Hasn't improved much lately. I haven't been using it as much because it's hard to use when you have a lot of lists. When I create a new list to keep organized, it pops up alll the way at the end and dragging it to the top is painful. I don't want to delete the older lists (I may need them again), but don't use most of the lists on regular basis and they are in my way and the UI doesn't help with it. To retain users, would help to have new lists pop up at the top and create ability to "archive" lists into a separate place that can be accessed when needed, keeping only the relevant lists in front of you.
Highly functional
by n8-98 on 2018/10/05 06:17
My favorite TO-DO list app because it’s very simple to use and features are understated (but available for use if you seek them out). I can also sync this with all my devices (and even some apps), a must have. That being said, there’s a (significant) issue that’s been bothering me for years now, and frankly I’m mind-boggled that it hasn’t been fixed: NOTIFICATION SYNCING. I still get notifications for tasks I’ve already completed on other devices, and checking off a task doesn’t clear the notification for this task. Very annoying to deal with this. Will give 5 stars if they fix this feature (a feature that pretty much any multi-device synced app has, even email apps).
GET THIS APP!
by lovin’ da’ shapes on 2017/11/03 22:44
This app is very helpful because it helps me schedule and keep track of what I have to do and how long I have to do something. I used to write the homework that I had to do in my notes on my computer but that began piling over time and was so cluttered that I had a hard time selecting what I had to do that day and it was very unorganized. Now I can easily just find things without even hesitating. I especially love that there is a section that allows you to star things on your to-do list because that helps me organize it further. I highly recommend you to use this because you will definitely not regret it!
This has organized my emails, paperwork, and projects
by LatteReader on 2017/07/18 16:18
The lists are so helpful! I love this! I forward my emails to print to a print me list, my emails for reply to a reply list and and my emails for action to a to do list. Then i can prioritize them and set reminders. This has cut the paper clutter in my kitchen 90%. For projects, like work, school, or home organizing- I set up a lists. I send relevant website and related emails to each lists. It takes 5 seconds to title the item and select the correct list from my phone. So it's all filed away and accessible on my phone any time, especially when I get my plans ready each week.
I love this app
by fashza on 2017/09/19 15:27
This is a great app to have The sharing of lists makes life easier because the wife and I no longer have to use a paper list for groceries. All we need to do is look on Wunderlist in the groceries to buy and we know what we need. If we find we are out of something, we can just add it to the list and it shows up on both of our phones, and whoever goes to the store knows just what to buy. And there is the priority feature to make stuff more important than other items. Works great I would recommend it to anyone who has problems with memory or remembering what they have to do that day.

Hands down my favorite to do list manager. I would like to be able to switch between 2 accounts easily without signing out though as I use this for work and personal life. I would also love to upload my own background/colors. Great app though, one of my very favorites and I use it everyday.
Great app

Love this app!! I see people in stores and want to tell them to get rid of their paper lists. This is so much better. I also use it for my to do lists and they are actually getting done! Many thanks to the genius who came up with this idea!

So so

Awesome

good, but...
by BigPapaP on 2019/02/13 04:59
This is a great app and i use it regularly, BUT, it has frequent freeze ups and other odd problems. If these were to be fixed (one seems to happen often when switching from airplane mode to wifi mode), then this review would give 5 stars without hesitation. But, until then it must have 2 stars only because this problem has begun disrupting my workflows and is at this time quite a nuisance.

Moved to a new house with acreage and am planning many different gardens. I am able to have several categories with lists and sub-lists. Items can be moved based on priority. I do wish there was a feature to choose whether to keep a completed item or completely erase it. Overall, this app does much more than I expected a free app to do.

2. Track frequent purchases, allow them to be sorted first…if desired.

by Dissapointed1_5 on 2019/02/05 10:57
I used to have this app on my old phone and really liked it but I tried to use it on a new phone and the sign in process is horrendous, I had to create a new account and every time I go to sign in it says ok you’re signed in you can close this window and then redirects me right back to sign in again or says my email doesn’t exist. Very frustrating, tried for over 10 minutes to sign in and nothing worked.

Wunderlist is my favorite list app
by tidbiter on 2019/02/04 16:23
Wunderlist lets you rearrange the tasks by select and slide.

Suggestions! :)9

Best list App
by Tc435 on 2017/03/17 14:55
Love Wunderlist!

This is a great app to have The sharing of lists makes life easier because the wife and I no longer have to use a paper list for groceries. All we need to do is look on Wunderlist in the groceries to buy and we know what we need. If we find we are out of something, we can just add it to the list and it shows up on both of our phones, and whoever goes to the store knows just what to buy. And there is the priority feature to make stuff more important than other items. Works great I would recommend it to anyone who has problems with memory or remembering what they have to do that day.
