Chord Visualization needed

Would be awesome if we could get a chord visualizer as a keyboard representation or something. I’ve played piano for years, and did a little music theory in high school. However, I’ve never really learned all the notes that make up chord notations. As I experiment with songwriting having a visual representation of the chords would help so much. So I can take what sounds like a nice chord progression, and turn it into something that better fits my musical expression. Anyways, super cool app, and all the controls are really intuitive. Easy to use, and definitely worth spending the $ if you write your own music regularly.
Simply the best

Thanks, this is the best app for making backing tracks, I searched a lot to find it

Prior to an update months ago, this was a useful product I considered buying. Unfortunately, the updated version crashes every ten minuets and the project disappears. It WAS useful, until the update made it keep crashing on my 4s and 5s. Of course, the solution would probably be to buy an iphone 7 or the soon to be 8, but I don't have a thousand dollars to spend.

If this app had MIDI out I'd pay 3x the price and rate it 5 stars.

If you are a jazz musician, or just want to practice improvisation, this application is a necessity. I can't imagine what the full version has--this is already so good.
Very cool

These are the changes I want to add: 1. A REAL MUST-HAVE: Different styles should be allowed in every section. 2. The chord numbers and the sections should be dragabble. It saves lots of time when you mess it up. When you click the chord number and select play, it should start FROM THAT NUMBER, not just anywhere! Please fix this bug. It always bothers me. Take note that this review is for the pro version. I wasn't able to write a review about it so I posted it here.
Perfect!!

This would be better if it was a 'free version', not a demo.* at least it dont have 'full screen' ads that appeat each 2 minutes, like most other demos, actually i dont seen any ads, only when you try to use a full version only feature, it says "buy the full version". *If you think demo and 'free version' are the same thing, you're wrong, demo is something free and very limited, it's only function is to make the user know what he will buy in the full version. free version is just a free complete app, and full version is a paid more than complete app, with aditional features.

Very nice little app. Easy to work with. I'd like to see a voice recorder. It would make it a much better songwriting tool. Alternate bass notes would be great too. The ability to change chords on the 8th note positions would be helpful too. However, out of all the little free and cheaper apps I've got, I know this is the one I'll actually use. Keep going!
Wonderful!
by ShadowManJoe on 2011/04/28 01:21
I'm a high school jazz student and this is perfect for practicing solos over! Plug chords in and you have a basic structure to practice over. Simple and easy to use! Won't complain much because it's free.
Exactly the app I've been looking for
by JKF_alone on 2011/01/11 20:20
Only 2 things would make this app better; 1. A tap tempo metronome 2. Allow music to play at the same time (for on the go transcription)
Good!!

This app is almost what I was looking for. I wish this app could be dotted note rhythm edit, some other inversions (wish I could choose, sometimes sounds funny) and other structures (4th voicing, tensions, etc...). Anyway, it's free version and simple to use. I really like this app. Thank you.
Amazing!
