Frustrated
by pookie050 on 2021/01/12 07:10
This app used to work. Once it opens NONE OF THE FUNCTIONS WORK!! You cant change instrument to solo it, you cant go to menu, you cant go to the home or main page NOTHING WORKS!!
App I’ve been looking for
by mindy-g on 2021/01/09 18:38
I’ve been trying to teach myself drums and have struggled to find good apps like this. Pros -long list of modern songs to play along to -ability to slow tempo is a huge bonus -solo mode Cons - frequent random bugs like switching to old notation without a way to get back, notations getting cut off on right side of screen Address some of these annoying behaviors and improve stability and I’d happily pay more for this!
In my personal opinion stick to the site
by rzkti on 2021/01/09 02:14
The website is great because it’s not hidden behind a paywall the app seems like a lot of time has been put into it based on the 5 seconds of a song you see
Quality control
by also do had do do sg on 2021/01/05 14:32
Some of these tabs need to be reviewed. And revised. You’ve got parts arranged incorrectly lyrics all jumbled together. Some of these tabs are a complete mess.
Subscription
by Cavin04 on 2021/01/04 03:45
I like the site, so I got this because I had $5 on my phone from Christmas, and I looked at the subscription page and it seems like it has different 4 different choices all the same price $4.99. There’s the regular, but then there’s one with “(NT)” after one has “(1WT)” after it and the last one has “(WT)” after it it’d be great if someone could explain the difference and/or reasons for multiple subscriptions. Thank you. (The four stars is because it doesn’t carry over to PC)
Love it

One of the best apps
Was better before last update
by ami2loud on 2020/12/28 02:28
Not sure why they switched to straight sheet music versus labeled tabs. As a beginner drummer was much easier to try to play along the way the music tabs used to be labeled.

More metal than country
by samuelious on 2020/12/27 23:49
Very good helps me a lot but there are some country songs that arent on there
Too Expensive

$5.99 a month for some tabs. Ridiculous!

Family sharing doesn’t work
by Owens187 on 2020/12/09 20:48
The app says family sharing is available, but no matter what I do I cannot get it to work on more than one family device(the original) without paying for a second account.

Loved you guys on my android phone and was nervous I wouldn’t find the app here. Super happy to see y’all!!! 😊😊😊
Great app!

Has almost every song I search for and it’s very accurate!
Waste of money
by Villa do Santo Antonio on 2020/12/07 07:55
The app only displays a preview of the first view bars. Then to see the rest you have to sign up for a paid monthly subscription. Why pay for a subscription to use their app when their website is 100% free?
Terrible marketing
by Khentimentu666 on 2020/12/06 04:43
On my friends phone the premium comes at a flat lifetime rate of $35. No monthly plan or anything. But in the App Store on apple it makes me pay $5 a month every month I want the app. How is that fair? And it is literally the same company. How come I have to pay albeit a lower price but more? And continuously at that, while she gets to drop $35 once and never have to pay for it again?
My go to performance music

Use this with a iPad and you have music to play when you need it
Awesome app
by Avatard#1 on 2020/12/01 14:58
For the mass majority everything is accurate a few here and there is pretty god considering there are millions of songs on here the ability to slow it down and build up to the speed is amazing not just for beginners but for advanced playing as well All in all perfect app to learn songs fast
So glad I found this but..
by not a opinion a fact on 2020/11/22 06:57
I just want to say this is the best guitar lesson app I’ve EVER came across. Ever. Well... on computer only lol. I downloaded this on my phone and I have to pay, but on my computer I don’t. How come? It doesn’t effect me that much because I only really use it on my computer but that was very annoying to see. But when it comes to my computer I love the app. The rest of these guitar apps cost money and are very expensive even when the lessons aren’t even good. I found this app on my computer desperately trying to figure out how to play this one song on my guitar and found this gem. I’m genuinely scared for people to even find it because you guys might make it cost money on computer too!!! Lol. No but I gotta say man... your team is really a fricking lifesaver. I loved this app on my computer so much it took everything in me not to run and make a great review on it. Good job guys! Maybe you can make changes with the phone situation? If not I’m cool!
Not the best selection

Unsubscribe
by Pangeous on 2020/11/14 18:07
FOR GOS SAKE! How do you UNSUBSCRIBE TO THIS APP? And the answer I am told is ,to.go ask Apple. Trapped for eternity! And no I will not change this review until SOMEBODY unsubscribes me. Apple app center is not an answer, as their confuse the issue on an on so resolution. NEW Apple and these Developers of this app still get money from me because they REFUSE unsubscribe me from this app. I’ve been offered discounts, refunds , anything and everything but the option to end this app subscription nightmare. If they can do it to me they are doing this to others to get their multiple $4.99 from us . If you have problems like this report it to you credit card company or the Better Business Bureaus this is a CON.
Great source for music
by sa--er on 2020/11/03 21:26
This is a great site. I learned the fret board wide selection of finger style music tabs. The only thing I think the site needs is a wider selection of banjo tabs.
cant find "free" songs to learn so this was a waste of data to downlaod
by djjsjjsjj on 2020/10/27 23:39
waste of data.... have found full free versions of songs elsewhere but not here! total waste of time. just look up bass tabs on youtube.
Average
by the chosen1 on 2020/10/26 18:21
So I have had Songsterr now for a day and I noticed a few things. 1. The side scroll is a little difficult to follow especially when you are trying to learn a song. I’d like to be able to view it as a whole piece of sheet music. 2. The sound and the actual notes are not in Unison. Maybe it sounds a little better when playing slower stuff but at full speed for a song at 180bpm there is a very noticeable lag the sound plays after the note passes the green bar not exactly on time. This makes it very difficult to learn new stuff Overall I have this 3 stars because for $4.99/month this app should have these wrinkles ironed out by now. The timing is inexcusable because most people are learning how to play a song for the first time and it throws everything off.
Nothing is free
by lol # puppies101 on 2020/10/23 02:14
Every single song that I want to play stops you at a certain point. I get you have to make money somehow but pls can you just make some if not most of the song free. I think you would get a lot more downloads and more people that would spend their money on this. Idk if you guys make money by getting downloads and people subscribing but if you make money from downloads I think you would make a lot more if you made about half of the songs free. Thank you so much and I hope you take this into consideration. ❤️❤️❤️
Really?

Crashes Immediately
by Gorak104 on 2020/10/10 17:52
Will not open. Crashes immediately on iPhone X running latest version of iOS.
Amazingly useful
by MarcArqShark on 2020/10/07 13:16
My only quarrel is that there are some tabs that aren’t timed correctly. Although the vast VAST majority are incredibly accurate, it seems as though the less mainstream songs aren’t tabbed well enough. Also, there are a lot of non mainstream bands that aren’t tabbed. Music is infinite so I understand why but either way, this app is as good as it gets.

Poor portability between devices
by Bass nOOb on 2020/09/09 16:19
I bought this app for $35 for ‘lifetime’ on my android phone. I was very disappointed that it won’t work on my iPad. I gets lots of annoying pop ups to pay more and monthly. Why market a lifetime membership and monthly subscription? When I tried to log in with my google email used to purchase the app, it says no such account. Why are there two radically different pay models and how can you not support cross platform account support? Disappointed. Not a great app for learning to play, good if you take crowd requests and need a quick tab. Terrible account management and cross device support.
Great app but.
by Dani-B08 on 2020/09/06 20:30
I wish it was more obvious which guitar was lead and rhythm. All I see is like overdrive guitar twice on here for a lot of song. Thank you actuate tabs though.
Great place to learn

Your app was good until the monthly
by joes right nut on 2020/08/22 08:06
If it wasn’t for this app I would not be where I am today at drumming it’s just so disappointing that this app just prioritized money making and I am just really sad that this happens well I do have the one time payment on android but I’m an iPhone user now and it’s also disappointing that you have to pay even more monthly to be able to quote “cross play” it would make my day if you can find better ways to make money and put the app back to normal 🥺 and it’s also sad that this is prolly the best thing for learning drums compared to any app out there for me and it just faded away and got overtaken by ea if you know what I mean
Subscription downfall
by ᛒᛖᚨᚱ on 2020/08/12 16:47
Was great until they made it a monthly subscription. Learn all your tabs before they take away the website viewing. Once they do that it’s pay to play 24/7.

This is a wonderful app but it won’t open on my new iPhone.
Very helpful but one minor issue
by beatles fan 8 on 2020/07/28 23:05
Everything about the app is great. The only thing that bugs me is that I can’t zoom the tabs out. I can’t view everything at once so it’s annoying trying to find out where I was at last. I give it 4.5/5 but I can’t do that so I gave it a 5.
Inconsistent transcription quality
by Jeanne-d-Arc on 2020/07/27 14:08
I was disappointed to find an atrociously wrong transcription of a Seals and Crofts song I wanted to play just now. I no longer presume everything is going to be done well at this app. —— Also as I have explained before to Songsterr, I do not normally do monthly payments to any place. At most I would consider annual payments but I prefer a one time payment option for everything. If they want to make it ridiculously high then make it high but let me be done with this paying after one payment. Even some groups have lifetime memberships for a large fee. I would like a lifetime membership option to pay with one payment. I use a virtual credit card and it’s too hard to make the card work with these monthly payments that it wants. My virtual cards expire every 12 months and require me to create new ones, and they are better for one time purchases. This company has lost out on a payment (and income) from me by trying to force a monthly plan on me with no other option. I should be able to pay a large fee if they are that focused on getting large fees out of people. If someone pays a lifetime membership fee it’s up to Songsterr to budget the money in a way that gives them money every month. They don’t give me any options and I continue to wait for them to make it possible for me to use it. My guitar teacher bought it when it cost nearly nothing. It’s a shame I can’t use it with him.

Broke my previous record!!!!...
by Neutrinotank on 2020/07/22 05:47
...of how little time elapsed between installing an app and deleting that app. It went like this; 1.) Search App Store for “songsterr” 2.) Install songsterr app. 3.) Search for “embedded” 4.) find and play! 5.) hit paywall after three seconds. 6.) Delete app. How do you spell “garbage”? Oh. That’s how.

My go-to for bass tabs.
by The Garth Vader on 2020/06/13 23:13
I learned how to play the bass using this app. Very simple interface that displays tabs in real time that you can slow down, mute other instruments, 3 count, metronome- my only complaint is that there are a few repeat tabs and a few that are obviously wrong, but overall it’s an excellent app with a very extensive library and it’s simple to read and use. It also provides tabs on the fly in case you forgot a part and just need to see it. 5 stars all day.
The best!

by Cre1mem1 on 2020/05/13 19:49
Bought the one time on Android, but doesn’t translate here. I’d be more than willing to buy it again for iOS, but the subscription is horrible. Just make the app 20 bucks or something.

Love the app but it’s better on android and pc
by C.S-C on 2020/05/07 23:42
This has helped me a lot with learning some of my favorite songs on guitar, and while I have no issues with the way it works and it’s selection of music, the apple store is the only place where I have seen this app make you pay to learn tabs it cuts off the song and says to subscribe to get access to the tabs, again this is only on the apple store which I don’t understand and I think it’s incredibly annoying, I will continue to use it on my other devices but in case you’re looking at using it I recommend it for the computer in case an android device is not available.
Best app ever.
by Lee lapeyrouse on 2020/05/07 01:15
Can’t get over how helpful and convenient this app has been. It literally walks you through every note of the song you are learning, and the database is pretty impressive . Five stars.
Misleading app.
by SCAM be careful!! on 2020/05/03 16:59

Bass tabs with music and optional solo and speed change. So worth it. So useful.
Good enough, but...
by Hfjfbdsj on 2020/04/26 22:10
I’ve had a subscription for this app for 6 months, and it’s fine, but some features seem sorely lacking that are either already present on the web version, or that similar services offer. 1.) Why can I only see one measure at a time? When I want to practice a song, I have to keep scrolling through constantly, as you can only see one measure at a time. Shouldn’t there be some sort of slider for the size of the text? 2.) Why can’t I upload tabs? Yes, you only support .gp5 files, but why can’t I upload those to my phone via iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc and upload them from my phone? I’ve uploaded 4-5 tabs to this site from desktop, and I’d like to at least have the option to do so for mobile, even if I don’t use it 3.) Why can’t I download tabs? On the desktop version, you can simply go to revisions and download the latest revision, but no such option exists here. 4.) Why do my favorites get deleted after I try and fail to sign in with a Songsterr account? Learned about this first hand and lost the 30+ tabs I had on my favorites. 5.) On the topic of downloading tabs, why can’t I download old revisions of tabs, on desktop or on mobile? They’re still there, you can view them on the desktop version, but you can’t download them. Why is that the case? Overall, just some kinks that need to be worked out to make this a stellar app, but until those are worked out I simply can’t give this 5 stars. Do I recommend this app? If you don’t have a laptop, absolutely, but if you do, stick to the desktop version. It’s worked great for me, you can view full tabs for free, and you can upload or download tabs in .gp5 file format for usage offline.
Have to pay

One-time payment?
by Jimmy Beezly on 2020/04/23 20:42
Is this a one-time payment program a subscription service? If it’s a subscription, I’m not paying for it and deleting the app. Why is there not a one-time payment option??
What happened?
by Zeppo57 on 2020/04/23 20:30
This app used to be great. There was a free version that had limited features, but now, it’s a monthly subscription? That’s insane! Thankfully, a while back I purchased the one-time payment so I don’t have to ever pay again. But I’ve got a students, friends, family, coworkers, and customers that want the app but don’t want to pay the monthly fee. They’d happily pay for one-time charge, though. Bring that feature back please! The creators are LOSING MONEY by taking away this feature. I think it could even be a one-time payment of $50 and it would still be a great deal for both the purchaser and the company. Bring the one-time payment feature back ASAP please!!

by DeGonzalezz on 2020/04/17 06:31

I use this app to practice guitar and learn new songs. I find that songs I’d like to play are frequently missing. More often than not they’re missing. The songs that are present are great, though. The mute function also seems broken, but everything else about this app works fantastically.
MAKES YOU PAY FOR EVERYTHING
by Topbridge on 2020/04/13 04:36
All the songs require you to pay a monthly subscription fee. Don’t waste your time. If they cared about people earnestly trying to learn how to play they wouldn’t be after your money. Sad how it’s become like this, all the music and tabs are already there, but out of selfish greed they choose to block access, making people pay to view instead of just giving it to guitarists so they can enjoy their passion.

Don’t have to pay on Android
by OvenToaster877 on 2020/04/10 22:13
What really gets me is that you have to pay to get the rest of the tab you want. I had an Android before this phone and I had this app on it. The thing is, you don’t have to pay for the entire tab on Android. So I am not going to be using this app anymore. The only good thing about this app is the way the tabs are laid out.
Drum Tabs are Weird
by W3dd1e on 2020/04/09 18:34
It’s very hard to follow drum tabs when learning a new song because each note shows up on a random line. So you’re following snare on one line then you miss it because suddenly it jumps to the below line.
Better on android
by jerry raypiszd on 2020/03/31 23:24
I recently switched to an iPhone and the app now forces you to get a subscription to play. On android it was free but on iPhone it isn’t? The app is incredible but the subscription really is the downfall for anyone who can’t afford anything.

In this era of lessening freedoms and corporate corruption of governing bodies and tyranny that accompanies it where things truly valuable and good are sure to be come less and less available but cost more and more, its things like this app that folks might one day stop and say “hey remember the good old days when it was OK to be free and play guitar and quality was essential ?” Sadly many will surely say “no i wasnt born when people had freedom and quality” . Credit Where Deserved
by Bdogg82 on 2018/10/06 17:34
I’m not going to lie I was not happy when the latest update rendered the app unusable for old users who purchased the app before it was a subscription service. The developer once aware of the issue was proactive to fix the issue and it now works again as promised. I honestly feel with as much as I’ve paid in monthly subscription fees to use the web browser based version across all platforms that I should at least get to keep the app version that I bought long ago for a one time fee. The app itself is excellent and a vital teaching tool for me.
Wish we had the option to mute the part we’re practicing
by Joshman0013 on 2018/09/23 21:43
Honestly for a company smart enough to develop an app like this, it somewhat astounds me that they developed the option to mute all other instruments except for the part you’re practicing, without developing the option to mute just yours. What’s in there is useless! How does that help develop your ear at all? The app currently functions somewhat like training wheels on a a bike. You can walk through complex pieces from at variable speeds, while it plays all the instruments for you. But eventually, you need to work on you’re ability to play it alone to maximize your tone; yet you have no way of removing just the instrument you’re playing. It would be great if we could keep the accompanying instruments, the tab, the speed control, but then mute the track it’s showing for the tab. As it stands I’m being forced to mute the phone entirely which is really stupid. I may cancel my subscription over this, because I feel like I’ve hit a plateau with songsterr and there’s better alternatives out there. Vote with your wallet!
It’s cool but
by brianrw43 on 2018/07/09 17:26
I like the side scroll but I wish I could also look at it like a normal piece of sheet music like on the website as well, the audio almost never works on the website, it’ll sometimes work once but then I’m forced to reload it if I wanna hear it again, and count in, solo, and loop don’t work at all on the website even though I pay a subscription. The app itself works great, never had issues but the guitar hero style is kinda hard if your trying to play a song for the first time, I like that more after I’ve played a couple times and I’m still working on rhythm and memorizing it. Also for solo mode, it’s cool but I wish you could also make it so you can hear all instruments except for the part I wanna play, that way I can have the drums, bass, vocals and maybe rhythm guitar going while I play lead guitar over it
Average
by the chosen1 on 2020/10/26 18:21
So I have had Songsterr now for a day and I noticed a few things.
The Subscription
by jdj521 on 2019/01/17 01:04
I use this app on my phone because it is easier to move around with and I can hear the music coming from the notes. That’s something you can’t do on computer. On computer you get all of the tabs on whatever song you wish to learn but you cant listen to the notes unless you subscribe to them. On phone you can hear the notes but it only gives you between 5 and 20 seconds of the song. Sometimes you don’t even get the notes. This rating is mainly for the Mobil app and how much of the tabs you get. It’s as if they are trying to get you to only use the computer website and play the song over it with you phone. Just use Guitar Tabs app. Incase you don’t know what it looks like, it a orange “O” with horns along with a black background. You don’t hear notes but you get the whole song without having to pay 5 bucks.
Best TABS app by far.
by PageistheGOAT on 2018/11/30 22:02
I’ve had other TABS apps, never paid for any of them though. My friend pays for this one and it’s AWESOME if you pay for the full version. I don’t pay for the full version because I’m broke and would rather spend money on equipment. My favorite part about this app is that is has almost every song and it is SUPER easy to read, unlike other apps. I had zero questions about how to read these TABS. Also, I love that this app tells you how to strum (up or down). It’s the best TABS app to get an accurate sound. Gotta love it.

I downloaded this to print drum tabs. I am very new to drumming so it was a bit over my head (at this time) but I do appreciate that this is a great app and reasonably priced if you print a lot of tab sheets. When I have had questions or concerns, my emails were answered promptly by Denis, who was very kind and helpful in guiding me through any issues. I will likely use the app again after I’ve improved. Note: I was not aware that auto-renewal may occur through the App Store, so be sure you pay attention.
Best Option for Tabs, Hands Down.
by John_Volt on 2017/09/20 09:25
I've been subscribing to Songsterr for years. They are the ONLY place I consistently find perfect transcriptions to any obscure song I can think of. For me this app is one of those examples of how our lives are better today than they were 10, 20 years ago. Update: I've been using other apps to slow music down but the slow to 15% speed feature is here and practice just got simpler. Nice job.
Great value ! The only app I pay for .
by Todd the builder on 2020/02/25 20:12
This app helped me learn how to play the drums including some of my favorite songs in just 2 years! I’m now taking lessons which is great, but I’m soo glad I started here. I started playing at 48 and now at 50, I can play Comfortably Numb, and Shine on 1-7 both while reading this app! What I do is play the real song in my headphones and follow along on the screen. I don’t use the green cursor so I can get used to reading along in time.
Great Tool For Learning
by ModernDayCliche on 2019/06/03 20:54
I’ve been using Songsterr for many years now and You May find songs not tabbed out perfect but it get you close and trying to figure out the part yourself only makes your ear better. I have nothing to complain about songsterr cause I remember when nothing was like this when I started learning songs !! Thank you songsterr for making songs easier to figure out 🤘🏻
Best App For Tabs Out There
by Ayyyyyy a lamao on 2018/07/06 06:10
I love all of the features that come with the monthly subscription. The feature that allows you to slow down the tab helps a lot but I do wish there was a little more percentages to choose from because on certain songs, the ten percentage gap feels like playing a simple riff to a full on solo. Best purchase I’ve made despite the minor complaint!
Worth it!
by Soul Sista 1005ab on 2017/11/27 23:40
I would give it 5 stars if there were bass tabs for all of the songs I look up but I doubt any app would have that. Most are on here however. Sometimes the tabs aren't completely accurate but close which still helps decipher the notes. It’s good to get an ear for the notes anyway. And it’s computerized and sounds like it so you’ll want to eventually play with the actual music once you’ve learned the song on here.
Major flaw
by BB10023 on 2019/05/02 16:25
Every time I open the app to review the tabs for a particular song you have to type into the search bar the name of the song. No option to save a song as a “favorite” or even show a history of prior searches to quickly and easily go back to the same song.
I don’t understand the purpose of me paying
by FrostFireX2001 on 2019/09/05 17:24
It’s a great app. Love using it. I get if I were paying for the mobile and all, but I typically just go on the internet via a laptop to use the website. My main gripe is I have to pay for the website version in order to just have a song slowed down. Five dollars a month as well. I would be fine paying five dollars a month if it was only a mobile app, but it’s not. I’d essentially pay five dollars a month to slow the song down. It makes no sense. Offer a one dollar version for that feature alone.
Buy the pc version
by OMGitsJohnny5 on 2018/08/03 11:44
This app is fantastic. I’ve cleaned up my playing on several songs and learned many new ones as well. I love the tempo and isolation features. I recommend subscribing on their website for the pc version and using that login for app access. If you subscribe through the app then you can only use it on iOS devices.
Where in the ...
by T. Browning on 2018/10/10 07:31
... hell have you been all of my life! First guitar lesson in 1976. I learned to play but had to rely heavily on ear. Now, just about every song i can think of is available here in guitar TAB, and it’s descent TAB! I’m finally able to clean up my chops a bit. If anyone has any desire to play, you can no longer blame it on not finding any guitar TAB. Thank you!!!
Unable to see more than one line at a time
by J Keith D on 2018/05/13 18:11
The app is awesome. I’m amazed at how much music is available. The playback remains very tinny and painful to listen to, however, and more importantly I hate that I am unable to see more than one line of the tab at a time. I know that I can play it forward very slowly if I want but when first learning a song it must be still. I am forced to transcribe everything into a book. This is far and away the biggest problem.
Bug fixes
by chord junky on 2018/10/07 14:02
After using the app for years, the developer made an app mod that resulted in the app not showing chords or tabs unless one subscribed to the service. Once they were notified (by myself and I assume others), they fixed the problem within about 24 hours. This is a great app and the developers response was equally great.
So far, so good.
by Basement Bassman on 2018/10/10 00:12
Edit update: This app is about as comprehensive and flexible a learning tool as you’ll find anywhere. The ability to slow it down in increments is extremely useful, and the song list seems to be growing constantly. Original review: I purchased this app with some skepticism after reading some not-so-flattering reviews, but within months, the reviews got better so I grabbed it. I used to go to a website called Bassmasta, but for some reason, I wasn't able to on my iPad. I'm new to bass guitar after a pretty bad injury forced me away from drums. This app is an excellent learning tool and I have yet to find any obviously incorrectly tabbed songs. It's pretty good. Well worth the $5 or whatever I spent on it. No retreat here!
Why you should make just the tabs free.
by xxCrunchY on 2018/07/19 08:17
Hey. I've been using your programs online on my phone and I wanted to use the mobile version for an easier browsing experience. However, when I downloaded the app I have only a preview of the song and I have to pay for Pro for the rest of the tabs. Why can't you make just the tabs free and things like solo and countdown paid?
NOT a free app.
by Grafs on 2020/01/12 03:33
Says free, costs a fiver a month. I only pay a little more than that for Netflix. Ridiculous as tabs are widely available for free on the internet. I downloaded the app, searched a song I wanted to learn, and was given a “preview” of the song (basically the first bar) and asked to pay 5$ a month to see the rest. Are you FLIPPING kidding me. Went and found the same song for free on Chordify, instantly deleted this garbage. Great app for people who dont understand the internet. It was recommended to me by my 70 yr old father in law. I will be informing him there are better options.

I bought this app years ago and all of a sudden it wanted to purchase again, I contacted them and they quickly resolved the issue. Thank you again. This app is good. My only suggestion is that some tabs on here are badly illustrated and should be revised. Other than that it’s great!

Awesome app
by Avatard#1 on 2020/12/01 14:58
For the mass majority everything is accurate a few here and there is pretty god considering there are millions of songs on here the ability to slow it down and build up to the speed is amazing not just for beginners but for advanced playing as well All in all perfect app to learn songs fast
Love and have used this app for years...
by jharris018 on 2020/03/06 23:09
I have a big issue with the latest update though, specifically with the tuner feature. When you have a song pulled up and go to the tuner it used to show the tuning of the song while you tune your instrument so you don’t have to go back and forth from the tablature screen, but now the app doesn’t show the song’s tuning and just says “current tuning”. It’s very inconvenient.
Great for any level
by Pelkahol on 2019/09/14 23:22
There are some songs I hear, play them but maybe miss an eighth note or a ghost. The reason I give this 4 stars because the cursor that plays with any song is delayed. Would also like if there was an option for reading actual sheet music instead of S, OH, FR. Anyways, great tool to have in your pocket. Pick a random song and jam. Probably the best app I have bought

by ETR2005 on 2019/09/07 16:12
This app is worth the money, if you’re just getting started on a guitar or bass this app is perfect with all the songs you listen to. A small suggestion I think would help the app a lot would be to add difficulty levels to songs to get an idea of how hard it is but overall great app.
Great app, keeps getting better!
by Satch boogie on 2018/03/09 20:34
I use this app all the time. The database is being updated constantly and is chock full of great tunes. The MIDI playback has great tones and is easy to watch as the tabs scroll by. I like learning a tune and then using the drum tabs ( if available) on solo for timekeeping. Would recommend to a friend for sure :)
Worth it
by 80's metal music on 2018/08/09 03:45
The tabs sometimes aren’t perfectly accurate but they’re accurate enough to get you close. If you have a sense of rhythm and a decent ear you can figure out where it might fall short. Overall, it’s a good app and worth the money. I’ve been a subscriber now for about 2 years.
Instruments minus 1
by CatHerderJ on 2018/10/14 13:22
If you want to hear everything except your own instrument, switch instruments in the app to something else, then turn off the one that you actually play. This way you can improve your technique and develop an ensemble sound using all the other excellent features of this app. Thanks to Joshman0013 for raising this issue.
Not always right
by Old4x4 on 2019/05/06 00:09
Since they use user submitted stuff that’s never checked, there are errors all over the place. Most songs are fine, though. I wish it was a one time fee instead of monthly. Be careful. (Eg. Jolene by Dolly Parton isn’t even close of bass). Just one very glaring example. Use this app cautiously.

Great tool, enhancement consideration
by Ogenats on 2019/11/22 23:00
I’ve been a subscriber for a few years. This is a great tool and ez to use. One suggested enhancement would be a an option which provides a single linear path so on guitar can play song without having to flip parts when multiple guitar parts are invilved
Great app
by EvanSimons on 2019/04/17 01:13
Pro guitarist, teacher, and player. I can tab most things by ear. But the things I can’t hear, this app is great. It’s done by a computer from what I can tell, so all the notes are accurate. The only thing it can’t get is what fret the notes are being played on, since you can find the same note multiple places on the fingerboard.
So, so, good. but awful marketing
by Fdfggsgxtg on 2018/03/06 07:08
Don’t get me wrong– When it comes to the world of tabs it gets exactly 0 better than this. But with the requirement of a subscription instead of a one time purchase (like it is on every other platform) for premium, its useless. For anyone that isn't rolling in the dough it makes 10 times the sense to just learn to read sheet. And that’s exactly what I did. Some times I come back to this app and yern for what could have been.
Buggy, fixes are promised for more than a month now
by Artem H. on 2017/12/03 05:25
The “mono” mode resets on every song, goes out of sync with the button state and has to be toggled back to work again. Song playback stops randomly and has to be started again many times per song. Customer Support has been promising fixes for more than a month now, which is kind of ridiculous.

This app has helped me a lot! Playing with people and having songs thrown at me for studio work. I can find the songs quick and get to work on them. The app has a good selection too! For the most part , tabs are accurate, Good enough to get the job done.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
