Good luck trying to cancel a booking through this app...it doesn’t let you. You have to email a form. Welcome to 2020, AF... All other airlines allow you to cancel online and/or through the app. Typical Air France user unfriendliness.
Bad app

This app needs to be improved. I book a lot through Delta and their app is amazing. When I travel to France and book through Delta but the airline I’m flying on is their affiliate Air France, I have to check in on the Delta app then log onto Air France app which does not pull up your booking confirmation. I have to find my flight confirmation # and add the Delta flight # and takes forever to pull up. Then I have to add my checked bags on the site. Horrible. Wish they would spend some money like Delta on their app.

I like the app in general but it’s too buggy. Latest issue : Cant get the boarding passes anymore from the app Information on flights is incorrect (my plane is gone 20 minutes ago and I am in fact at the gate waiting for boarding !!!) Platinum card is not updated. Very annoying. More work to be done.

Doesn’t Allow Changes

The App just doesn’t allow you to make simple changes to things like your passport information. Every time I take a photo of my passport it says the image is not good enough - whatever I do. If I try to change the expiry date of my passport it always reverts to the old date.
Can’t save bookings made elsewhere

This is a general problem with Air France’s database, not just the app (at least they are consistent!). Even though I was able to find a booking (made via another internet travel site), it wouldn’t be saved into my bookings, which means I have to search for it each time I use the app. (I have an account) . It probably also means that it won’t notify me if there are changes etc regarding the flight, even though I made sure to add that information. This doesn’t happen with, say, JetBlue. grrr...

Terrible booking platform of ALL times

Not only did Air France wipe out all my PAST record, I can not book any flight on their app this year. The special pricing disappears during “rebooting” and changes rapidly during booking. Sad because the flying experience is great. They lost my booming to Expedia, with price differential being over 50%. The WORST experience of airline booking ever.

Major issues with this app: 1. You can’t view seating or upgrade 2. Check-in won’t allow you to check in until you re-enter all your contact and document details. 3. After entering and saving details, the app continually loops back to the same page when trying to continue to the final check-in process 4. Personal profile details can be updated and entered but not saved. Upon saving, the app gives an error. 5. Trying to enter and pay for baggage, the app allows details then errors when trying to save I really expected much better from Air France :(

Warning : if you travel with an infant, you will be unable to book a ticket online. You’ll have to do it over the phone. If you do it over the phone in the US, then the ticket will be a DELTA ticket, operated by Air France. Should it change anything ? Not in my opinion, especially when you pay a total of 3000 €. Does it ? Dramatically. When you book your ticket over the phone, then you won’t be able to - change your seat, meal plan, check in, book extra luggage, (Online or over the phone, even when you’ve paid extra money specifically to be able to change your seat). Also, checking in at the airport will be an absolute nightmare - I’ve been told that my ticket it not valid, then that it is but the ticket number is not (whatever that means?), that I have to check in for myself at the airfrance counter but for my infant son at Deltas’, and then after more than an hour waiting at the counter that the only way I could embark with my infant son is if I purchase an infant safety car seat which is mandatory, as per mentioned on their website, but of course was never mentioned to me over the phone when I purchased the ticket. As a mother traveling alone with my 22 months toddler, at that stage i gave up, stopped complaining at the counter and bought the car seat so my son would stop yelling and we could eventually get into that plane. Once inside the plane I got told my the flight attendant that they had never seen such a seat and had no idea how to install it. My kid eventually had to travel on my lap And I had to leave the car seat I purchased in the plane because I could not logistically carry my son, a bag pack, a suitcase, and a car seat I never planned to have. Guess what happened on the return flight? The same. I’d like to say this is the last time that I am traveling with Air France, but I have no other choice since it is the only direct flight between Houston and Paris.

Impossible to stay loggged. The app systematically log you out when you close it. You have to always input your code when you open it. Really annoying. At least use Face ID!
Lowered the quality from previous App

The latest update lowered the quality of services that we used to have before on the same App. There is no multi destinations option, I was not able to pick a seat and pricing were different from the website. Usually updates provide improvement but in the case of this App it went on the opposite direction.
Not Updating Flight Status

My flight has been delayed over an hour and the app has yet to update it. I didn’t get any notifications about the delay. Also, it didn’t allow me to check in or choose my seat before the flight. Frankly, it seems like it’s just frozen.

The app used to be good. Several updates later, it doesn’t keep you log-in which is a pain travelling abroad when there is a need to access your boarding pass quickly, the cool statistics features no longer work (error connecting verified on several users and phones). IT of Air france needs to step up its game.

Not enough space to write how awful an airline app this is. I’ll just point out that KLM’s app has a rating of 4.0, while yours has 2.7. Why not choose to be humble and replicate your sister airline’s app? 99% of app publishers wouldn’t hesitate one second if they could improve their app score by 1.3 overnight

Delta is my standard for airline apps. AF is pretty good, but buggy for a few reasons. I will start with a note that I prefer the app experience over the website experience for managing existing bookings. - The app logs you out after every session. You need to re log in each time. - Several critical features (seat & meal selection for example) are web based experiences that appear to be I-framed into the app. So they don’t work seamlessly in the overall experience It’s a mandatory for AF fliers in my opinion, and it works - but it could be better.

With all the bad reviews I hope I’ll get to France on my booked ticket. Now Air France asks me to scan my passport. Why? It says scan your passport now but the app doesn’t get me anywhere to scan it. During check-in they check the passport anyways why do they stress us on top of the stress I booked my flight on-line. Now I cannot even send my rating! Now any nickname I choose is taken.

Save yourself very much trouble indeed and immediately delete this app. Zero stars. App broken. Demands phone numbers but will not accept them. FUBAR. One of the worst airline apps ever. If this is version 8, I tremble to imagine earlier versions. Junior high school students in educationally disadvantaged countries such as the United States write better code than this. Save yourself a big headache and do not even try to use this app to check in. On iPad, the app overrides portrait mode, hijacks you into landscape mode, and churns forever while accomplishing nothing. Do French people actually use this app? If so, I am very surprised and wowed by their patience and determination.

Does Airfrance have a technical team or a CIO or anything around that? The app wouldn’t pass a QA test. You can’t delete your passport information, and if you modify it, it adds a new passport on top of the older one. If you add any frequent flyer information, it won’t be saved. It says it’s saved, but it won’t save it. You can’t modify your credit card info even though you can try multiple times. Just a waste of time and energy and really disrespectful to anyone flying your airline. Take some lessons from Emirates or Qatar airlines. Even Delta app is way better.

J’ai du me rendre à un point de vente Air France pour m’entendre dire qu’ils n’avaient accès qu’au site internet et qu’il leur était impossible de modifier les places qui nous étaient attribuées et qui étaient loin d’être optimales. Arrivés à l’enregistrement, nous nous sommes entendu dire que l’avion était plein et que rien ne pouvait plus être fait. Copie à revoir et rapidement.

French citiZen, green card. cannot check in online to US (used to, and am Flying Blue Platinum, have done this about once a month for years). error is “you need an esta” - i dont, and i have entered greencard info. btw, at airport checkin, they need to delete all the info and start over to make it work. if i cannot check in online, AF, you’re toast: i’ll use Delta and BON VOYAGE. fix your app!

I added my Passport by scaning it and have to edit expiration date, so I did. Then after plying with this app I went back to check my Passport and the expiration date was wrong again. So I fixed it. But then the date vent back again. Is this app a joke?

Have not written a review in years but this Air France app deserves a special mention as it is so bad. After entering my ticket number, passport information and all they requested, i have yet to be able to get a boarding pass on my phone. Instead I get some offer to email my boarding pass, which I ultimately accepted out of frustration but have yet to receive 2 hours later. As for getting the boarding pass on my cell i keep getting some stupid error message, which makes no sense. Air france, please pay your pilots less and spend more on your programmers!

It is driving me crazy that each time i want to check-in using the app, they ask me again for my citizenship, passport info, etc!! People don’t change citizenship or passport every other week!!! I uninstalled/reinstalled the app, yet i always have the same issue. PLEASE FIX IT
Frequent Flyer number glitch

I’ve tried for the past 6 months on my flights to add my Skymiles frequent flyer number in the app but was unable to do so. Technical support was not helpful nor was customer service with this issue and I have alerted them every time. They are French so never seem to be working or available and unfriendly.

It took me 2 hours to reset my password and get it to work. I finally booked my ticket then I get a conformation email then another confrontation email. My ticket was booked twice. I called the support line, I was told the system is down, and they asked me to call back after 2 hours. I called back the second time, their system is till down. The third time I called an employe answered me, I told her what happened and she started to laugh. I am not sure what was funny about my horrible experience. I got upset and hang up, and called back again, this time I was able to speak to a supervisor. She then voided one ticket and now I have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the refund. I could choice a different airline but I have always traveled with AirFrance, however it’s a big disappointment this time, this is has to be the last time I travel with them. Customer service is what makes a company or break it. When I choice a company, I choice them for their Belief as company and their customer service. You guys are a big disappointment, and this will be the last time I will travel with you. I hope you technically improve your website/ app and so as your customer service skills... most of client pay extra money to be treated good or at lest right. BTW this the first time that that I review an app or a service ! You can only imagine how horrible my experience was.

The forst use pf an app is for ticket availibility. The Air France app isn’t able to propose the ticket in the app for an ununderstandable reason. The database is probably unconnected. You need to get tour ticket into your emails. Very bad result.

Passenger Info Screen Not Functioning

Even when I am logged in, the passenger info screen that pops up when I try to book flights includes none of my personal data and won’t even let me add my Flying Blue number (All other SkyTeam partners are presented as options in the drop down list.) Weirdly, Flying Blue IS an option for “Passenger 2.” (But there is no way to access my profile’s “travel companions.” I used to use this app frequently and never had this problem until recently. Until this glitch is fixed, I’ll book with other airlines.

Booking painful

Everytime you try to book a ticket the app selects the day before... if you dont pay attention you end up flying on the wrong day. Carte jeune is not clearly mentionned as mandatory when buying jeune tickets... and when you try to change a jeune ticket it gives a wrong price... lot of work to do to make it a good app

Please fix the important settings on the app. (Profile management/flying blue account/ regulatory introduction information) I love this app so much because of how simple and easy it is to use but this glitch is frustrating and irritating me so much! I keep getting emails from Air France to update my passport information and to finish all mandatory regulations/update my profile in order to make my flight simple and easier for check in. I used the “scan documents option” on all my important documents on this app but it saved my birthdate and expiration dates on my passport/ID all wrong!! every time I try to confirm and save my information it doesn’t update it. So I manually typed in my documents and it doesn’t update at all. I contacted airfrance customer support to see if they can update my information and they said they have already done so but every time I login to see my information is not saved or updated at all. It remains at 70% completed. Sometimes I have a struck of luck and it saves my settings but it deletes everything else!!!! 😑 so my profile then says 30% completed!! 😒 I have constantly been trying to fix this at all times of the day for a whole week but to no prevail! This is my last resolution and I hope I can be helped. My flying blue account is a mess and I seriously hope this doesn’t affect my experience with airfrance just because of a technical app issue. This is turning into such a huge headache!!! Please help me by fixing this issue. I will give an update and change my rating if I can get any help! Please my flight leaves in 5 days. I don’t want to have any problems with my documents

If you agree with the title of this review, then this app is for you! Every time I viewed an option but decided not to pursue, I had to start over the checkin process. Including looking up my flight by flight number. Annoying. Trying to buy an upgrade? I hope you have miles because apparently paying with actual money is not allowed. Terrible app. At leas I was finally able to checkin. Well.... I think. :/

I have flown many airlines and used many related apps. I really enjoy the ease of use, access to all my information and fantastic notifications. I am not usually interested in the gamification side of these apps but I enjoy how Air France implemented it (time spent in the air, weight of luggage, cities visited, distance covered - I did not know I have nearly reached the moon!).

Me and my wife had flown to Tahiti through Air France and it was the worst experience. We both requested specific vegan meals prior to the flights, just to get on the plane and see that we had to starve the whole flight as it was not put on even though it was confirmed beforehand. On the way back they did the same exact thing. And when we emailed to let them know we got no reply back. Horrible experience!

Worst airline app I have. Even Adria Air (Slovenia) has a better app. I think perhaps the developers were on strike when they coded it.

It took me 2 hours to reset my password and get it to work. I finally booked my ticket then I get a conformation email then another confrontation email. My ticket was booked twice. I called the support line, I was told the system is down, and they asked me to call back after 2 hours. I called back the second time, their system is till down. The third time I called an employe answered me, I told her what happened and she started to laugh. I am not sure what was funny about my horrible experience. I got upset and hang up, and called back again, this time I was able to speak to a supervisor. She then voided one ticket and now I have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the refund. I could choice a different airline but I have always traveled with AirFrance, however it’s a big disappointment this time, this is has to be the last time I travel with them. Customer service is what makes a company or break it. When I choice a company, I choice them for their Belief as company and their customer service. You guys are a big disappointment, and this will be the last time I will travel with you. I hope you technically improve your website/ app and so as your customer service skills... most of client pay extra money to be treated good or at lest right. BTW this the first time that that I review an app or a service ! You can only imagine how horrible my experience was.

Does Airfrance have a technical team or a CIO or anything around that? The app wouldn’t pass a QA test. You can’t delete your passport information, and if you modify it, it adds a new passport on top of the older one. If you add any frequent flyer information, it won’t be saved. It says it’s saved, but it won’t save it. You can’t modify your credit card info even though you can try multiple times. Just a waste of time and energy and really disrespectful to anyone flying your airline. Take some lessons from Emirates or Qatar airlines. Even Delta app is way better.

Have not written a review in years but this Air France app deserves a special mention as it is so bad. After entering my ticket number, passport information and all they requested, i have yet to be able to get a boarding pass on my phone. Instead I get some offer to email my boarding pass, which I ultimately accepted out of frustration but have yet to receive 2 hours later. As for getting the boarding pass on my cell i keep getting some stupid error message, which makes no sense. Air france, please pay your pilots less and spend more on your programmers!
Passenger Info Screen Not Functioning

Even when I am logged in, the passenger info screen that pops up when I try to book flights includes none of my personal data and won’t even let me add my Flying Blue number (All other SkyTeam partners are presented as options in the drop down list.) Weirdly, Flying Blue IS an option for “Passenger 2.” (But there is no way to access my profile’s “travel companions.” I used to use this app frequently and never had this problem until recently. Until this glitch is fixed, I’ll book with other airlines.
Can’t save bookings made elsewhere

This is a general problem with Air France’s database, not just the app (at least they are consistent!). Even though I was able to find a booking (made via another internet travel site), it wouldn’t be saved into my bookings, which means I have to search for it each time I use the app. (I have an account) . It probably also means that it won’t notify me if there are changes etc regarding the flight, even though I made sure to add that information. This doesn’t happen with, say, JetBlue. grrr...

This app needs to be improved. I book a lot through Delta and their app is amazing. When I travel to France and book through Delta but the airline I’m flying on is their affiliate Air France, I have to check in on the Delta app then log onto Air France app which does not pull up your booking confirmation. I have to find my flight confirmation # and add the Delta flight # and takes forever to pull up. Then I have to add my checked bags on the site. Horrible. Wish they would spend some money like Delta on their app.

If you agree with the title of this review, then this app is for you! Every time I viewed an option but decided not to pursue, I had to start over the checkin process. Including looking up my flight by flight number. Annoying. Trying to buy an upgrade? I hope you have miles because apparently paying with actual money is not allowed. Terrible app. At leas I was finally able to checkin. Well.... I think. :/

Confusion

With all the bad reviews I hope I’ll get to France on my booked ticket. Now Air France asks me to scan my passport. Why? It says scan your passport now but the app doesn’t get me anywhere to scan it. During check-in they check the passport anyways why do they stress us on top of the stress I booked my flight on-line. Now I cannot even send my rating! Now any nickname I choose is taken.

Delta is my standard for airline apps. AF is pretty good, but buggy for a few reasons. I will start with a note that I prefer the app experience over the website experience for managing existing bookings. - The app logs you out after every session. You need to re log in each time. - Several critical features (seat & meal selection for example) are web based experiences that appear to be I-framed into the app. So they don’t work seamlessly in the overall experience It’s a mandatory for AF fliers in my opinion, and it works - but it could be better.

The latest update lowered the quality of services that we used to have before on the same App. There is no multi destinations option, I was not able to pick a seat and pricing were different from the website. Usually updates provide improvement but in the case of this App it went on the opposite direction.

French citiZen, green card. cannot check in online to US (used to, and am Flying Blue Platinum, have done this about once a month for years). error is “you need an esta” - i dont, and i have entered greencard info. btw, at airport checkin, they need to delete all the info and start over to make it work. if i cannot check in online, AF, you’re toast: i’ll use Delta and BON VOYAGE. fix your app!

My flight has been delayed over an hour and the app has yet to update it. I didn’t get any notifications about the delay. Also, it didn’t allow me to check in or choose my seat before the flight. Frankly, it seems like it’s just frozen.

The app used to be good. Several updates later, it doesn’t keep you log-in which is a pain travelling abroad when there is a need to access your boarding pass quickly, the cool statistics features no longer work (error connecting verified on several users and phones). IT of Air france needs to step up its game.
Passport issue

I added my Passport by scaning it and have to edit expiration date, so I did. Then after plying with this app I went back to check my Passport and the expiration date was wrong again. So I fixed it. But then the date vent back again. Is this app a joke?
Worst Airline App

Major issues with this app: 1. You can’t view seating or upgrade 2. Check-in won’t allow you to check in until you re-enter all your contact and document details. 3. After entering and saving details, the app continually loops back to the same page when trying to continue to the final check-in process 4. Personal profile details can be updated and entered but not saved. Upon saving, the app gives an error. 5. Trying to enter and pay for baggage, the app allows details then errors when trying to save I really expected much better from Air France :(
Frequent Flyer number glitch

I’ve tried for the past 6 months on my flights to add my Skymiles frequent flyer number in the app but was unable to do so. Technical support was not helpful nor was customer service with this issue and I have alerted them every time. They are French so never seem to be working or available and unfriendly.

Not only did Air France wipe out all my PAST record, I can not book any flight on their app this year. The special pricing disappears during “rebooting” and changes rapidly during booking. Sad because the flying experience is great. They lost my booming to Expedia, with price differential being over 50%. The WORST experience of airline booking ever.

Everytime you try to book a ticket the app selects the day before... if you dont pay attention you end up flying on the wrong day. Carte jeune is not clearly mentionned as mandatory when buying jeune tickets... and when you try to change a jeune ticket it gives a wrong price... lot of work to do to make it a good app
Doesn’t Allow Changes

The App just doesn’t allow you to make simple changes to things like your passport information. Every time I take a photo of my passport it says the image is not good enough - whatever I do. If I try to change the expiry date of my passport it always reverts to the old date.

This app is so glitchy and has been for years! As an example, when searching for flights using miles, I constantly receive error and no flights found messages but when I go to the full website, the flight results come right up! Come on guys, get your act together!

Why not choose to be humble and replicate your sister airline’s app? 99% of app publishers wouldn’t hesitate one second if they could improve their app score by 1.3 overnight

After the new 8.0 which was supposed to be great all my flights are gone. Logging out and in. No Results. Is anyone even testing these apps before they are being deployed? I’m a platinum level flyer so I fly a lot and have no time for these stupid errors.

I like the app in general but it’s too buggy. Latest issue : Cant get the boarding passes anymore from the app Information on flights is incorrect (my plane is gone 20 minutes ago and I am in fact at the gate waiting for boarding !!!) Platinum card is not updated. Very annoying. More work to be done.

Warning : if you travel with an infant, you will be unable to book a ticket online. You’ll have to do it over the phone. If you do it over the phone in the US, then the ticket will be a DELTA ticket, operated by Air France. Should it change anything ? Not in my opinion, especially when you pay a total of 3000 €. Does it ? Dramatically. When you book your ticket over the phone, then you won’t be able to - change your seat, meal plan, check in, book extra luggage, (Online or over the phone, even when you’ve paid extra money specifically to be able to change your seat). Also, checking in at the airport will be an absolute nightmare - I’ve been told that my ticket it not valid, then that it is but the ticket number is not (whatever that means?), that I have to check in for myself at the airfrance counter but for my infant son at Deltas’, and then after more than an hour waiting at the counter that the only way I could embark with my infant son is if I purchase an infant safety car seat which is mandatory, as per mentioned on their website, but of course was never mentioned to me over the phone when I purchased the ticket. As a mother traveling alone with my 22 months toddler, at that stage i gave up, stopped complaining at the counter and bought the car seat so my son would stop yelling and we could eventually get into that plane. Once inside the plane I got told my the flight attendant that they had never seen such a seat and had no idea how to install it. My kid eventually had to travel on my lap And I had to leave the car seat I purchased in the plane because I could not logistically carry my son, a bag pack, a suitcase, and a car seat I never planned to have. Guess what happened on the return flight? The same. I’d like to say this is the last time that I am traveling with Air France, but I have no other choice since it is the only direct flight between Houston and Paris.

Impossible to stay loggged. The app systematically log you out when you close it. You have to always input your code when you open it. Really annoying. At least use Face ID!

Delta is my standard for airline apps. AF is pretty good, but buggy for a few reasons. I will start with a note that I prefer the app experience over the website experience for managing existing bookings. - The app logs you out after every session. You need to re log in each time. - Several critical features (seat & meal selection for example) are web based experiences that appear to be I-framed into the app. So they don’t work seamlessly in the overall experience It’s a mandatory for AF fliers in my opinion, and it works - but it could be better.

With all the bad reviews I hope I’ll get to France on my booked ticket. Now Air France asks me to scan my passport. Why? It says scan your passport now but the app doesn’t get me anywhere to scan it. During check-in they check the passport anyways why do they stress us on top of the stress I booked my flight on-line. Now I cannot even send my rating! Now any nickname I choose is taken.

Save yourself very much trouble indeed and immediately delete this app. Zero stars. App broken. Demands phone numbers but will not accept them. FUBAR. One of the worst airline apps ever. If this is version 8, I tremble to imagine earlier versions. Junior high school students in educationally disadvantaged countries such as the United States write better code than this. Save yourself a big headache and do not even try to use this app to check in. On iPad, the app overrides portrait mode, hijacks you into landscape mode, and churns forever while accomplishing nothing. Do French people actually use this app? If so, I am very surprised and wowed by their patience and determination.

Does Airfrance have a technical team or a CIO or anything around that? The app wouldn’t pass a QA test. You can’t delete your passport information, and if you modify it, it adds a new passport on top of the older one. If you add any frequent flyer information, it won’t be saved. It says it’s saved, but it won’t save it. You can’t modify your credit card info even though you can try multiple times. Just a waste of time and energy and really disrespectful to anyone flying your airline. Take some lessons from Emirates or Qatar airlines. Even Delta app is way better.

J’ai du me rendre à un point de vente Air France pour m’entendre dire qu’ils n’avaient accès qu’au site internet et qu’il leur était impossible de modifier les places qui nous étaient attribuées et qui étaient loin d’être optimales. Arrivés à l’enregistrement, nous nous sommes entendu dire que l’avion était plein et que rien ne pouvait plus être fait. Copie à revoir et rapidement.

Have not written a review in years but this Air France app deserves a special mention as it is so bad. After entering my ticket number, passport information and all they requested, i have yet to be able to get a boarding pass on my phone. Instead I get some offer to email my boarding pass, which I ultimately accepted out of frustration but have yet to receive 2 hours later. As for getting the boarding pass on my cell i keep getting some stupid error message, which makes no sense. Air france, please pay your pilots less and spend more on your programmers!

Frequent Flyer number glitch

I’ve tried for the past 6 months on my flights to add my Skymiles frequent flyer number in the app but was unable to do so. Technical support was not helpful nor was customer service with this issue and I have alerted them every time. They are French so never seem to be working or available and unfriendly.

It took me 2 hours to reset my password and get it to work. I finally booked my ticket then I get a conformation email then another confrontation email. My ticket was booked twice. I called the support line, I was told the system is down, and they asked me to call back after 2 hours. I called back the second time, their system is till down. The third time I called an employe answered me, I told her what happened and she started to laugh. I am not sure what was funny about my horrible experience. I got upset and hang up, and called back again, this time I was able to speak to a supervisor. She then voided one ticket and now I have to wait 24 to 48 hours for the refund. I could choice a different airline but I have always traveled with AirFrance, however it’s a big disappointment this time, this is has to be the last time I travel with them. Customer service is what makes a company or break it. When I choice a company, I choice them for their Belief as company and their customer service. You guys are a big disappointment, and this will be the last time I will travel with you. I hope you technically improve your website/ app and so as your customer service skills... most of client pay extra money to be treated good or at lest right. BTW this the first time that that I review an app or a service ! You can only imagine how horrible my experience was.

The forst use pf an app is for ticket availibility. The Air France app isn’t able to propose the ticket in the app for an ununderstandable reason. The database is probably unconnected. You need to get tour ticket into your emails. Very bad result.

Even when I am logged in, the passenger info screen that pops up when I try to book flights includes none of my personal data and won’t even let me add my Flying Blue number (All other SkyTeam partners are presented as options in the drop down list.) Weirdly, Flying Blue IS an option for “Passenger 2.” (But there is no way to access my profile’s “travel companions.” I used to use this app frequently and never had this problem until recently. Until this glitch is fixed, I’ll book with other airlines.

Everytime you try to book a ticket the app selects the day before... if you dont pay attention you end up flying on the wrong day. Carte jeune is not clearly mentionned as mandatory when buying jeune tickets... and when you try to change a jeune ticket it gives a wrong price... lot of work to do to make it a good app

Please fix the important settings on the app. (Profile management/flying blue account/ regulatory introduction information) I love this app so much because of how simple and easy it is to use but this glitch is frustrating and irritating me so much! I keep getting emails from Air France to update my passport information and to finish all mandatory regulations/update my profile in order to make my flight simple and easier for check in. I used the “scan documents option” on all my important documents on this app but it saved my birthdate and expiration dates on my passport/ID all wrong!! every time I try to confirm and save my information it doesn’t update it. So I manually typed in my documents and it doesn’t update at all. I contacted airfrance customer support to see if they can update my information and they said they have already done so but every time I login to see my information is not saved or updated at all. It remains at 70% completed. Sometimes I have a struck of luck and it saves my settings but it deletes everything else!!!! 😑 so my profile then says 30% completed!! 😒 I have constantly been trying to fix this at all times of the day for a whole week but to no prevail! This is my last resolution and I hope I can be helped. My flying blue account is a mess and I seriously hope this doesn’t affect my experience with airfrance just because of a technical app issue. This is turning into such a huge headache!!! Please help me by fixing this issue. I will give an update and change my rating if I can get any help! Please my flight leaves in 5 days. I don’t want to have any problems with my documents

I have flown many airlines and used many related apps. I really enjoy the ease of use, access to all my information and fantastic notifications. I am not usually interested in the gamification side of these apps but I enjoy how Air France implemented it (time spent in the air, weight of luggage, cities visited, distance covered - I did not know I have nearly reached the moon!).

Me and my wife had flown to Tahiti through Air France and it was the worst experience. We both requested specific vegan meals prior to the flights, just to get on the plane and see that we had to starve the whole flight as it was not put on even though it was confirmed beforehand. On the way back they did the same exact thing. And when we emailed to let them know we got no reply back. Horrible experience!

Can’t save bookings made elsewhere

This is a general problem with Air France’s database, not just the app (at least they are consistent!). Even though I was able to find a booking (made via another internet travel site), it wouldn’t be saved into my bookings, which means I have to search for it each time I use the app. (I have an account) . It probably also means that it won’t notify me if there are changes etc regarding the flight, even though I made sure to add that information. This doesn’t happen with, say, JetBlue. grrr...

This app needs to be improved. I book a lot through Delta and their app is amazing. When I travel to France and book through Delta but the airline I’m flying on is their affiliate Air France, I have to check in on the Delta app then log onto Air France app which does not pull up your booking confirmation. I have to find my flight confirmation # and add the Delta flight # and takes forever to pull up. Then I have to add my checked bags on the site. Horrible. Wish they would spend some money like Delta on their app.

Lowered the quality from previous App

The latest update lowered the quality of services that we used to have before on the same App. There is no multi destinations option, I was not able to pick a seat and pricing were different from the website. Usually updates provide improvement but in the case of this App it went on the opposite direction.

My flight has been delayed over an hour and the app has yet to update it. I didn’t get any notifications about the delay. Also, it didn’t allow me to check in or choose my seat before the flight. Frankly, it seems like it’s just frozen.

The app used to be good. Several updates later, it doesn’t keep you log-in which is a pain travelling abroad when there is a need to access your boarding pass quickly, the cool statistics features no longer work (error connecting verified on several users and phones). IT of Air france needs to step up its game.
Passport issue

I added my Passport by scaning it and have to edit expiration date, so I did. Then after plying with this app I went back to check my Passport and the expiration date was wrong again. So I fixed it. But then the date vent back again. Is this app a joke?
Worst Airline App

Major issues with this app: 1. You can’t view seating or upgrade 2. Check-in won’t allow you to check in until you re-enter all your contact and document details. 3. After entering and saving details, the app continually loops back to the same page when trying to continue to the final check-in process 4. Personal profile details can be updated and entered but not saved. Upon saving, the app gives an error. 5. Trying to enter and pay for baggage, the app allows details then errors when trying to save I really expected much better from Air France :(
Frequent Flyer number glitch

I’ve tried for the past 6 months on my flights to add my Skymiles frequent flyer number in the app but was unable to do so. Technical support was not helpful nor was customer service with this issue and I have alerted them every time. They are French so never seem to be working or available and unfriendly.

Terrible booking platform of ALL times

Not only did Air France wipe out all my PAST record, I can not book any flight on their app this year. The special pricing disappears during “rebooting” and changes rapidly during booking. Sad because the flying experience is great. They lost my booming to Expedia, with price differential being over 50%. The WORST experience of airline booking ever.
Booking painful

Everytime you try to book a ticket the app selects the day before... if you dont pay attention you end up flying on the wrong day. Carte jeune is not clearly mentionned as mandatory when buying jeune tickets... and when you try to change a jeune ticket it gives a wrong price... lot of work to do to make it a good app
Doesn’t Allow Changes

The App just doesn’t allow you to make simple changes to things like your passport information. Every time I take a photo of my passport it says the image is not good enough - whatever I do. If I try to change the expiry date of my passport it always reverts to the old date.

This app is so glitchy and has been for years! As an example, when searching for flights using miles, I constantly receive error and no flights found messages but when I go to the full website, the flight results come right up! Come on guys, get your act together!

It is driving me crazy that each time i want to check-in using the app, they ask me again for my citizenship, passport info, etc!! People don’t change citizenship or passport every other week!!! I uninstalled/reinstalled the app, yet i always have the same issue. PLEASE FIX IT

Not enough space to write how awful an airline app this is. I’ll just point out that KLM’s app has a rating of 4.0, while yours has 2.7. Why not choose to be humble and replicate your sister airline’s app? 99% of app publishers wouldn’t hesitate one second if they could improve their app score by 1.3 overnight

Spent 2 hrs trying to log in to my acc via app - tried to change passwords, etc. Still it continuously shows an error when trying to log in, though via regular site it’s ok. The sad thing is that airfrance does not even try to fix the app. Worst Mobile App Ever..

After the new 8.0 which was supposed to be great all my flights are gone. Logging out and in. No Results. Is anyone even testing these apps before they are being deployed? I’m a platinum level flyer so I fly a lot and have no time for these stupid errors.

Glad I’m not traveling right now. The latest update 7.9.0 opens up and immediately closes down, on my iPhone X. Not nice!

Fire you’re computer team and hire someone competent. You’re app and especially you’re website are from the past. With unpredictive behavior, bugs, and malfunctions.

App is a downgraded version of delta app but worse. Does not work half the time. Errors out every few minutes. Can not see many of the functions. Will recommend my company drop this airline as preferred. One star.

There is always bugs that prevent me from completing my booking. Iam using iphone max pro ios 13. This problem doesn’t exist on my other iphone max with same ios 13.

Good luck trying to cancel a booking through this app...it doesn’t let you. You have to email a form. Welcome to 2020, AF... All other airlines allow you to cancel online and/or through the app. Typical Air France user unfriendliness.

Try to add passport, frequent flyer numbers etc. says it updates but when you go back all the info is missing. The app is terrible if you want to do anything but look at your reservation.

Worst airline app. Can’t get my boarding pass. Can’t add luggage. Can’t receive my boarding pass via email. Just horrible. Next time I’ll just travel with another airline and it’s gonna be cheaper anyway.

To log in to an airfrance account the app loads an in app safari browser that doesn’t work. Makes it impossible to log in to an airfrance account on the app.

After using Alaska Air and Delta apps, it makes the Air France look like entry level coding and functionality. Can't even complete my profile. Getting errors.

Accessing some of the menu takes long time for instance Options and Preferences require at least 5 seconds (and I’m on a WiFi with behind a fiber to the home link at 100Mbps).

Latest update killed the app. App no longer even opens on both iPhone and iPad.!, it is now useless, used to be a good app before. Can’t believe they didn’t test it before releasing the update.
