Terrible
by Jungadin on 2020/05/09 18:22
The stitching is absolutely terrible. Waste of money. I used to use Photosynth years ago and it was great until discontinued. Why can’t any app these days do as well?
Unusable content
by jonbarbee on 2020/04/21 18:32
The content is not usable on any platform outside of SM.
This used to be great, but now literally nothing lines up
by trebory6 on 2020/04/07 17:28
No part of the panorama lines up with each other and everything has a double. It’s useless at this point.
Terrible stitching for indoor use
by SugimotoKoitsu on 2020/04/03 14:06
Tried several times to make a useable 360 panorama of my living room. The results are not acceptable for me. Stitching in app produced many doubled objects and lune breaks, no matter how careful I was to rotate around the iPhone 7’s lens axis. I’m trying to make a virtual tour of my apartment to give to our real estate agent, and this app simply doesn’t cut the mustard. It’s unprofessional.
Don’t waste your money
by Lala loo on 2020/01/17 02:37
This does a terrible job of splicing photos together. I started with a simple 360 of my bedroom. I stood in the same position and captured all angles. The image had overlapping spliced images and was extremely blurry. Can’t believe I honestly just spent money on this.
Needs update
by Audible Chocolate on 2020/01/07 03:57
Needs a renewed look.
grateful for this imperfect app
by Dominicvine on 2019/12/27 06:00
when this app first came out i loved showing it to people as an example of what the iphone could do it’s still very impressive and the imperfections of this mode of 360° photography is quaint because it is no longer necessary. it’s not “the best” algorithm out there . . . but it’s imperfection allows you to exploit it in uniquely creative ways. . . layering people’s faces all over the sphere, cutting up the scene, causing people to float in whatever context you place them. it’s great fun to be able to be creative. . . or just capture a moment: i’ve been using this almost a decade. . . I've got about 300 captures with it that are in my account here. i love it. try it out and play with it. there is a lot you can do with it beyond the obvious. thanks creative team!
No longer uploads on iOS 13.2... waiting for an update to fix
by PolacMac on 2019/11/26 13:49
So don’t update if you need 360 to work.
Crashes when trying to share to camera
by mDevereaux on 2019/11/01 18:47
Cool app but app now crashes on iPhone 6 s when trying to share / save to camera.
They own your photos
by Sanfog on 2019/10/29 02:19
It seems impossible to get your 360 photos out of the app to anything but their servers. I want to be able to view, save, and export my pictures taken with this app not share some advertisements with friends. Avoid this company.
Low quality
by Tydence on 2019/10/05 14:23
It worked well years ago. But, the quality hasn’t kept up with the iPhone cameras. It looks like it was shot with a 3g.
First version from years ago was perfect
by joe joe 1957 on 2019/09/10 20:18
It has steadily grown worse with each improvement. All the images are splotchy.
Don’t buy
by manigeo1989 on 2019/08/29 06:54
Worst application and not worth at all and a waste of time
It’s Okay
by DaKanakAttack on 2019/08/26 04:54
This app works okay. For some reason it constantly loses track of where it is in space and drifts the panorama slightly no matter how well you hold the camera in its location. The bigger issue is trying to get photos loaded to Twitter or Facebook. I’ve yet to be able to do it because the upload always fails immediately. I’ve tried to contact the developer to no avail. Also if you go about it in the longer way by saving it to your Photos on your phone then trying to upload it to Facebook, it still doesn’t work. The app messes up the EXIF data so Facebook doesn’t recognize it as a 360 photo. Basically you can take cool 360 panoramas but can’t do anything with them...
Accelerometer Alone = Not Good
by FiveOneEcho on 2019/08/18 10:13
This app would be cool if it didn’t lose track of where the pano was in physical space. For some reason it drifts ever so slightly, causing tearing. The only solution is to move the phone, but introduce parallax, which is not really a good solution. Not sure why it doesn’t align based off of the accelerometer AND camera feed. Just take what the camera sees when it’s on an already photographed part of the grid and double check occasionally. I find even using the technique I use for shooting manually-stitched panoramas do not work with this for a full sphere. It’s not useless for hemispheres, though. Never had accelerometer issues with this phone: it’s fairly new, and the few AR apps I’ve run work very well with no graphics drift.
Stuck
by Loquetus66 on 2019/08/17 18:35
I’ve always liked this app, but the truth is... They need to have variable lighting, to sense exposure as each snapshot is taken, to make it flow. When they work this out, the 360 will be beautiful, but until then, each capture moves with the original captures light exposure, creating lines of lighting differences throughout the 360 image. Another issue I have, is that there is no direct customer support, as usual, making it impossible for me to resolve my 360 app, not being able to upload to Facebook, or have more than one (LOCKED IN) account of Facebook! Done everything, including removing and clearing my Cache, but the info won’t “FIX IT,” as it asks me to do, every time I try to upload to Facebook. It’s never gotten resolved... Still an issue...
Doesn’t work
by wwmarron on 2019/08/17 17:25
Got this app because my FB app never convert my panoramics into 360, this app makes the 360 easily, but the “Sharing” to FB or Twitter doesnt work at all. Have tried for the 100th time and different ways, just doesn’t work.
Awful app
by bunnywithrose on 2019/08/02 14:52
Don’t buy it. I bought it, used once and deleted it. It’s better to use the free Google Street View app. Can I get refund?
Cant delete my account

Dont respect the gdpr, need to delete my account from this Service
Don’t obtain this app.
by bmbelko on 2019/07/13 22:34
I bought this some years ago and it worked great. Over time, the quality of images went down. Now and then they would answer my emails. Eventually, they stopped. The quality of the images went down further. The app began not creating them at all, or would not download to my account, or would download an entirely white or black image. Stitching has always been a problem. Finally, I deleted the app from my phone and went to reinstall it. They wanted me to pay again. I decided to take a chance...it’s worse than ever. It’s frankly become a rip off. You could do better just taking iPhone panos, and pasting them together in Paint.
AMAZING BUY!!!
by CrazyChicken980 on 2019/07/07 21:34
Absolutely worth the two dollars! This app turns your expensive, taken-for-granted iPhone camera and turns it into a real 360 degree panoramic camera! Of course it just splices (Seamlessly and flawlessly, might I add) together multiple pictures and although this application provides no physical enhancements to your camera, but it allows you access to leading Artificial Intelligence for one three-hundredth of the price! If there was anything I could change, I would change absolutely nothing! Well, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want it to be free. But who doesn't! I’ve tried every SINGLE free 360 pano app, and even a few even more expensive ones, though none of them are even CLOSE to the easy navigable interface, smart stitching system, and overall smoothness of 360 Panorama! I Recommend!
Won’t let me upload to Facebook
by beardedmongoose on 2019/06/16 02:35
I tried plenty of times to upload to Facebook but it says it expired and I’ll log into Facebook and try to upload it and again it says it expired

Sharing to facebook 360 keep giving me error message...if u cant share an interactive 360 view. What good is the image created?
Essential, used for 10 years!
by Howardcov on 2019/05/27 23:01
I’ve relied on this app for over 10 years, and it has never let me down. Highly recommend!
by Dispatcher7 on 2019/05/21 13:44
I’ve tried numerous times. Changed every set for I can find and still can’t share to Facebook. Every time I try the app says my connection to the Facebook account has expired. I go through the process to reconnect. Follow the share process and the app says it couldn’t complete the share. It’s an endless loop. I have tried restarting the phone too.
Unbelievable
by Zanesworld1 on 2019/04/16 03:15
Why did I never know about this app and the amazing results it produces? It seems like anyone who EVER wants to take a picture of ANYTHING would have to have this tool on stand by! I create videos and take pics of everything and had my go-to apps down to 3- now I have 4. Could be one of the most amazing photography tools of our time. Astonishing- absolutely jaw dropping! Hats off to the developers and your team!
Not worth it
by Terminalance on 2019/01/24 04:18
This application does not work very well. When I move from left to right, the app seems to think I’m starting to aim my camera down and subsequently ruins the entire panorama. I tried using a tripod so I would have perfect movements and still had the same problem. If they can fix this it might be worth it, until then don’t buy.
Pretty good
by Poco Lolo on 2019/01/12 02:40
Take a BUTT LOAD of practice, but still delivers what it advertises. What would Totally be MEGA AWSOME was if you could make it compatible with a VR headset. Just sayin.
Don’t buy
by fearlesspapi on 2019/01/10 16:20
Don’t buy this app unless they make some major updates. I pay $3.99 I believe or $1.99 I don’t remember. The point is that the app is horrible coordinated, I try to get in touch with the developers but wasn’t able to.
Can’t share to Facebook please fix

DON’T BOTHER. Worked Good For A While, Then.....
by Stefan Urquelle on 2019/01/05 03:56
Great captures, easy to use, and was able to upload to social media. But then, after a while, what happens when you want to upload these same pics to Facebook using the same Facebook account you just used to upload on the 360 site? You get stuck in an endless loop of authentication glitches where the app doesn’t recognize your account. This renders the 360 app utterly & frustratingly useless because now you can never show the 360 feature to anyone unless you have your phone handy. If you save it to your camera roll it will look like a frozen nightmare, so again, what’s the sense of having this app if you’re the only audience exclusively on only your phone?
Unusable images
by energ8t on 2018/11/22 15:53
The very first image low like it was stitched by a 10 year old with one eye. Not worth it even if it was free. Feel ripped off. The Google plus camera I used was so much better.
Horrible
by An11secmustang on 2018/11/20 20:52
What a waste of money. The objects are doubled and tripled, literally the worst camera I’ve ever used.
No support. Feeble Facebook integration.
by the nards on 2018/11/19 19:49
Lame. No mobile website!? Seriously. What is wrong with this company?
Terrible
by Dead Papa on 2018/11/16 17:23
I rarely take the time to leave reviews but this needs to be posted. This app is not worth the money. It wouldn’t even be worth downloading if it was free. I used a tripod to try getting a good 360 photo. This app works terribly. You are better off using the panoramic setting on your phone.
Stands the test of time!
by splaquetdesigns on 2018/10/28 13:51
I've used this app for... wow, 10 or so years now? I originally grabbed it for capturing better 'environmental' photos. We used the 360 photos to show folks who couldn't be with us during a visit to a work site. I still use the app, but it's missing a key feature in my opinion. ...a way to export a single image that's compatible with today's 360 implementations. Such as: - Google Street view (this app is better than Google's single lens 360 capture, but the end result is stuck in the custom software) - single image upload to Facebook (they can currently be shared to FB, but not as a flat image) ... and now, most important to me, - they cannot be uploaded into 3rd party, 360 virtual tour software. As a web developer, I need an easy way to export images out of the app and custom software/website. I really need maximum compatibility if I'm going to continue using the app.
Works fine until I try to export
by Milo, on 2018/10/25 02:47
It won’t let me upload to Facebook despite being logged in and reauthorizing multiple times. I’ve contacted support and will update this once I’ve heard back. Holding there is something I’m doing wrong on my end
Great App, definitely worth it.
by Blue_6 on 2018/09/26 01:18
The panoramic on the base phone is pretty good, but this one can almost place you in the scene you take a picture of. I love it. And the stereo graphic mode is amazing. But I do feel like the UI could be better and it could have a few more features to mess around with. And it also seems like the resolution is lost a tiny bit but hey, it’s a smartphone camera after all. Overall great app and very fun to use but again, there’s still more potential.
Don’t waste your money
by BDSanchez on 2018/08/31 21:07
I know it didn’t cost much, but I saw a good review and for me I was hoping to use it for a presentation...lol I guess I’m just super optimistic
Works great!
by Etrac man on 2018/08/29 23:41
Originally uploaded it and it wouldnt work but thankfully the developers were listening and quickly put out an update for the iPhone 6 Plus. I love taking outdoor shots with this app now!!
Worthwhile!
by Yikesx3 on 2018/08/16 15:16
Enjoyable app for assembling panoramas...it’s nice to remember what it was really like to be in a certain place.
Lost years of photos
by Dude0u812 on 2018/08/13 15:15
(Updated review) This uses a proprietary document format, and the ONLY way to backup data is through their proprietary cloud NOT iTunes. Not a fan of signing up for more proprietary clouds as I don’t have a lawyer on retainer to read all the Terms and Conditions for each. Often there are privacy implications and digital contracts are radically changed without any notice. Just offer an iCloud sync and be done with it. As for the program, it’s awesome, has gotten a lot quicker over the years. Only wish I had all the pictures I took and have now lost due to the backup issue.

Excellent repair for the sudden exit of the application, 🙏
Used this for years. Worth the price. Requires technique.
by D3M4NNU on 2018/07/24 16:30
I’ve been using 360 for years. I wish the developers would update the interface or send out a survey to users so we can help them release a new version or just keep updating this one. I have a ton of ideas for features, and continue to use this app because I’m usually happy or impressed with the final result. I like using this more for landscapes, but when there is enough light and less glare, I can take clean 360s with minimal blending issues. Under poor light, the software tends to automatically adjust to raise exposure and I feel it kills the importance of the moment. Are there ways the community can share, rate, or vote for pictures? Challenges? Prizes? I still use this frequently and I’d like to learn how to improve my technique. Is there a forum available? Thanks for the updates!
FINALLY WORKS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ pls read till end of review
by ZonaryOrange on 2018/07/24 01:50
The most recent update finally fixed the bug issue with the iPhone 6 versions and now i can see my 360° panoramas, thank you for fixing it i love this app. Also here is a mighty fine suggestion, this app drew me in after i purchased a Virtual Reality mount for my phone and i really wanted to view 360° photos with it and then i wanted to make my own and i found this app, but it doesn’t have vr compatibility...yet 😉... and i have to have some other app from another developer (and it barely even works) to view the 360° panoramas made in this app, it would be the cherry on top of the ice cream if you had a way to view panoramas in vr right then and there in this app, if you read it all thank you i appreciate it, keep up your good work 👍
Fixed it this time

Needs an update
by Speak4Truth on 2018/07/21 04:40
App was great when it came out, and still is very cool and unique. Unfortunately it does not take advantage of the newer iPhone's camera and resolution, also it doesn't auto adjust well to different lighting. PLEASE UPDATE app for better resolution, better stiching, etc. Would happily pay money for a worthwhile update!! AND PLEASE update app to support iPhone X!

Crap
by Leomajor88 on 2018/07/17 18:52
The software needs some serious work. I remember using a similar app 5 years ago that stitched photos together flawlessly. This app doesn’t do that. Photos look like crap, no matter how slow and steady my hand is. Don’t buy.
Crashes Instantly
by PanoPainter on 2018/07/15 21:02
This was a great photo app till it started crashing instantly. My iOS is up to date. My phone is not old. I guess they stop supporting this app. I’m very disappointed.
Is this joke ?
by Mustafa7ya on 2018/07/14 00:21
Don’t even download it save ur money and time they are scammers and I can’t get my money back just not right when you take pics try to match them and hard to match because this app it’s bs not professional there is to mods in it when u choose the one supposedly ones upload it will improve but what ? No it’s not same pic you take will be same as online 🤔 is this how u make it think it’s good deal ? No Sorry I have deleted it and will report it

Best pano app—hands down!
by JMATH5000 on 2018/07/12 13:22
I got this app before taking a trip to Iceland and I’m so glad I did! Regular photos don’t do the landscapes justice. Reviewing my 360 panos back home is like teleporting back to my favorite spots. Big thanks to the makers of this app for helping me capture the epic beauty of nature! ❤️🏔🇸🇪

Mediocre downgraded to worthless
by Elko Kid on 2018/06/18 15:59
Suddenly the app’s certificate expired and browsers go nuts about it being untreated. Also, I can’t download any panos from the phone to the site. On the website the latest pano is simply a white box. Now the server is down again. Lost all the panos on my phone. I’m done with this useless app.
Disappointed
by ScottAmes on 2018/05/30 01:40
It takes wonderful 360° panoramic shots including the floor and ceiling. The problem is I can’t share them or upload them at all. It keeps failing and Telling me there’s a problem. I can’t link Facebook or Twitter. I’ve logged in, I’ve logged out, I’ve tried everything I can think of including resetting passwords. Nothing works. The only thing I can do is save the panoramas to my photos. I even tried to send them via email and I get the email but the link does not work. Pretty much worthless if I can’t use them
Highly disappointed
by The Kizza on 2018/05/28 20:19
Started out decent enough, seemed like it had real potential. Then I just couldn’t find a way to “outsmart” the app’s behavior. Once it seemed to lose tracking of the scene, it would never be able to recover and the whole image would be a throw-away. I spent a half hour twisting my back to capture a room, and nothing looked great beyond one wall. So I went to create an account to upload my work and see if it could get optimized. I got the email verification message, clicked the link, and the link was broken. Yay. Apparently I supported a company that can’t keep their account verification working. Waste of $2, oh well, Maybe your mileage will vary, but I hardly see much value beyond the built in iOS camera.
DO NOT BUY - unusable!!
by CFlex on 2018/05/26 12:41
I purchased this app with high hopes. While the app did let me take a sweet pano, I am unable to do anything with it because you need to upload it to their servers to share it, and to do that they want you to create an account with them. Okay, no big deal. But there is something wrong with the account creation process! It doesn’t work. When I was asked to verify my email, it just tells me that the email account can not be verified or had been verified before and if I suspect that this error is wrong I should contact their support. Well I KNOW I have never verified my email with them so I of course tried multiple times, and then I even tried multiple different emails. All of them returning the same error. So I reached out TWO WEEKS AGO to their support and have followed up three more times and still have only received an automated response telling me they’ll review my email and get back to me. This developer doesn’t really value customers and I bought an app that I can’t use. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Hope this helps someone else.
Update request.
by Fannar on 2018/05/18 21:06
By far one of my favourite apps the past few years. Sadly this app hasn’t reveived the care it deserves from its developers for the past 2 years. Great app, love the complete 360 panorama, but an update might fully utilize the new iphone models camera capabilities and image quality. Here’s to hoping...
Don’t buy it!
by Sperezjulio on 2018/05/05 20:13

by Husky Robusto on 2018/04/07 22:00
I just wish I had the option to re-expose on each image. For instance, I'm sitting in my garage with the garage door open. I want to to be able to properly expose to the sunny outdoors while being able to properly expose to the interior of the garage. Can't be that hard to implement as a feature...right?
I need instructions
by Paddletheboard on 2018/01/19 17:16

Fail 7+
by SurfjunkieJustin on 2017/12/26 17:42
Doesn't function for me on my iPhone 7+. As soon as I get to the third or fourth image the app loses orientation and the horizon goes crooked making it impossible for the images to continue being stitched. Running iOS 11.2.1 I've tried all the basics like restarting phone and app. No dice, simply doesn't work. This is my first and last iPhone experience. Just one more reason I miss my Samsung devices that have capabilities like 360 camera built in, but it actually works.

Recent hardware/software incompatibility?
by Miko from across the street on 2017/10/04 01:31
I have been using this app for multiple years and just bought it again when i switched to a new App Store account. I am attempting to run this app on ios 11 with an iphone 8 Plus and when I try to take a panorama the image jitters around and gets lost in tracking with the gyro. I notice that this app hasn’t been updated for two years, is there no support for the most recent hardware? Severely disappointed

This is soooo not user friendly. Kept hoping I was missing something, played around hoping for some revaluation as to what the trick was. Nope, stitching is horrible, just stick with the camera feature already on the phone.

I love this app. Easy to use. And it really adds the " wow " factor on people's pages! It has crashed a couple times. But I'm sure it's just my dinosaur IPHONE 5s Yeah. Get the app. It's so cheap you have to get it.
Another Disappointing App
by OhManIt'sHimAgain on 2017/08/24 19:31
The app runs slightly sluggish and feels rough around the edges. However, that's not what's important here. The actual activity of capturing a panoramic shot easy if you're interested in sub par images with oblivious stitching issues or tearing. If you're a perfectionist stay far away or invest in something else. Or simply stick with the panoramic mode on the iPhone which executes panoramic shots flawlessly and with minimal effort. No repeated redos required. However if you're willing to expend a serious block of time perfect using this app then by all means it's perfect. For the others who don't I suggest looking elsewhere.

Tripod mount?
by CJfoto on 2017/05/18 16:44
I also love this app. But I have a question. Some times the stitching doesn't connect all the edges correctly. That is because the center of phone camera lens does not pivot around it's self. So each image is taken at a different angle. Using a tripod would be better, but the phone's camera lens is not centered over the center of the tripod. Do you recommend a tripod mount the corrects this problem? Thanks
Been Creating 360° Panoramas Since 2014
by joebeebee on 2017/05/01 02:23
Anytime I've wanted to capture the feel of a place I've used 360° Panorama to do that for me. It's not perfect, but it's gotten the job done for me. A lot of memories are being stored via my 360° images.
Crap resolution, horrible stitching.
by N0GREY on 2017/04/30 05:34
Every time I use it I'm disappointed. Resolution is terrible. Stitching is terrible, overall resolution and quality of finished product: Terrible. I've had it. For 3 years now and it never fails to disappoint.
Very decent app
by RyTheGuy-er on 2017/04/25 01:11
Although this app is not perfect, there isn't much to complain about. The pictures sometimes come out a little messed up, but the overall outcome is pretty good. I also have just started using this app, and might have to experiment with it more first. One thing that would be nice is if it was compatible with the google cardboard. I had to spend an extra 99¢ for a separate app to view them in VR. If that was added, this probably would be a 5🌟 app, for its price.
Someone Update This PLEASE
by pleaseporfavor on 2017/04/21 05:04
It's such a good app but sadly it's been forgotten. All this needs is minor tweaks to be awesome. Maybe they were ahead of their time when they developed it but now is the time to make it great.
Pretty good
by east coast spaz on 2017/04/19 10:58
I find this app to be pretty darn good. I mean it does what it says it's gonna do and does it in an easy enough fashion that doesn't leave you confused or wondering how to do it. I like it for that and the photos it has stitched together for me. Thank you!!!!
Simple to use, great results.

Lacking In Important Areas
by Spyeder on 2017/04/13 12:15
On the plus side, the accelerometer-based panorama viewing is fantastic. It helps you really feel like you are in the environment. The downside is that it does a poor job of stitching images, always making enormous errors. As this is the actual point of a panorama app, and Apple's own camera does a better job, I have to say it is less than average quality.

Don't buy many apps, this was worth it
by lauragirl88 on 2017/04/05 06:35
As the title says, I'm almost strictly a free app girl but this one struck me as worth the risk. While vacationing in Paris, I wanted a way to create full 360 images that could capture the sky, ground, and 360 of where I stood. My idea was to share this on Facebook with family back in the states and use Facebook's 360 feature to show them Paris through my eyes. The app is not perfect but it does so exactly what I wanted it to do. You need to move slowly and start in the area you want the light to be correct in as it doesn't auto adjust very well. Again, move slowly. It took a 2-3 trial and error shots to get the movement right. You'll also want to use the social upload feature built in, it isn't perfect but you'll get the 360 feature perfectly every time. There is a save to film room feature but those photos don't appear to upload correctly as 360s when done that way. The app created itself a folder on Facebook to dump the photos which was perfect for me as I didn't want me feed clogged with them.

The best 360/sphere app
by Lego Damashii on 2017/03/27 17:45
This app is really great. It works intuitively, stitches nicely, and lets you upload panoramas to a website, so anyone can can view them on any computer. Viewing a 360 panorama in an iPad with the gyro turned on really gives you a great sense of the space. It feels like a window into another place. Impress your friends! (Google Cardboard support would be a great addition!)
Poor Stitching/Unsable
by TheRealFisky on 2017/03/26 15:52
The stitching of images gathered from trying to create a panorama in this app are awful to say the very least. 10 minutes in Photoshop with the standard Camera app that comes installed with your iOS device yields far better results. I've spent longer trying to coax this app to do what it's supposed to do than I did in Photoshop with a bunch of images in my Photos reel - that's not a good sign. If you want to play in a developer's sandbox and make subpar, often difficult to comprehend images, this is the app for you. If you want to make quality, 360-degree panoramas, you'd best look elsewhere.

The most recent update finally fixed the bug issue with the iPhone 6 versions and now i can see my 360° panoramas, thank you for fixing it i love this app. Also here is a mighty fine suggestion, this app drew me in after i purchased a Virtual Reality mount for my phone and i really wanted to view 360° photos with it and then i wanted to make my own and i found this app, but it doesn’t have vr compatibility...yet 😉... and i have to have some other app from another developer (and it barely even works) to view the 360° panoramas made in this app, it would be the cherry on top of the ice cream if you had a way to view panoramas in vr right then and there in this app, if you read it all thank you i appreciate it, keep up your good work 👍
Takes 360 Pic - But Saving & Sharing is a Disappointment
by Mark48185 on 2016/09/07 12:43
After a little practice, I was successful taking a complete 360 image of my fenced back yard, capturing all of the plants and flowers, lawn swing, gazebo, patio, ground and sky. Viewing the image while using the 360 Panorama app was okay, but sharing it to Facebook resulted in a major disappointment as it only provides a link to a website. The image at the website only offers a horizontal panoramic view which can only be moved by swiping with your finger, not by moving the phone. The vertical option is completely lost. When saved to the iPhone Camera roll, the image is nothing more than a panoramic photo, which iPhone already offers. I can step into my back yard and look around without using a phone. I could have saved $1.99. Perhaps it would be more appreciated when looking back on vacation 360 Panorama photos, (i.e,, The Grand Canyon, etc...).
FUN!
by TLeeNichols on 2016/10/28 22:13
There seem to be two basic types of people in the world. One requires instructions on how to tie the laces on a new pair of shoes no matter how many they have owned. The second type decides to try an app and half the fun is discovering all the things it will do without reading a manual (often written in broken English making no sense). I've had this app for several months now and I haven't found one I like any more than this one. I'm amazed at how relatively seamless my 360 degree shots turn out. It's more fun than a barrel of lesser primates. Try it and if you already know how to tie your own sneakers you will love it. I give it 5 stars. That doesn't happen often. Enjoy!
It’s Okay
by DaKanakAttack on 2019/08/26 04:54
This app works okay.
Exactly what I hoped for
by JonPCole on 2016/07/26 14:51
The results of using this yield exactly what I wanted: an interactive image that accurately recreates my view in every direction. One can even grab the sky and ground to laterally capture everything visible. Advice: practice a couple of times to get used to the process. It is simple, though. Press the onscreen button and let it grab the first image, then rotate slightly and pause. You'll see the app grab additional images. Continue the process until you have rotated in a complete circle.
Stands the test of time!

Excellent. Timely updates. Useful even for pros.
by AJLFX on 2016/05/20 20:06
This app is simply, the best there is for this on iOS. I have high-end tools for stitching stills and video, but when I need to run and gun, this is my go-to app on iPhone and iPad. It is that good. Now, if they could only offer a version that can also do stereo, or even photogrammetry, so I could get textured models in FBX or OBJ formats, that would be incredible, and worth paying for another app, provided the quality remains the same, or better! Hint, hint, wink, wink! 😉
You could do better just taking iPhone panos, and pasting them together in Paint.

by jaymz32 on 2016/04/30 14:46
I first bought this app several iPhones ago. It started out mind-blowing, but as the hardware got better, so did the app. This is one of the few apps that I have kept on my phone long-term that Apple has not eventually made a better version of or otherwise incorporated the same level of functionality into their ecosystem. Bravo to the developers for never resting on your laurels.

Now I'm only dreaming here but it would be nice if this app can capture various exposures at the same time for maximum light and detail data. But that a bit of a stretch. Or is it? All in all, it's my go to app when I see an environment I'd like to take home to use in a 3D Program. Nice going people. Best 360 pano app out there.
grateful for this imperfect app
by Dominicvine on 2019/12/27 06:00
when this app first came out i loved showing it to people as an example of what the iphone could do it’s still very impressive and the imperfections of this mode of 360° photography is quaint because it is no longer necessary. it’s not “the best” algorithm out there . . . but it’s imperfection allows you to exploit it in uniquely creative ways. . . layering people’s faces all over the sphere, cutting up the scene, causing people to float in whatever context you place them. it’s great fun to be able to be creative. . . or just capture a moment: i’ve been using this almost a decade. . . I've got about 300 captures with it that are in my account here. i love it. try it out and play with it. there is a lot you can do with it beyond the obvious. thanks creative team!

I can’t link Facebook or Twitter. I’ve logged in, I’ve logged out, I’ve tried everything I can think of including resetting passwords. Nothing works. The only thing I can do is save the panoramas to my photos. I even tried to send them via email and I get the email but the link does not work. Pretty much worthless if I can’t use them
Lost years of photos
by Dude0u812 on 2018/08/13 15:15
(Updated review) This uses a proprietary document format, and the ONLY way to backup data is through their proprietary cloud NOT iTunes.
Similar to but better than Google Street View
by Pfy42 on 2017/03/19 13:17
This captures a full photosphere - not just a 360 panorama, but up to the ceiling and down to your feet as well. This allows you to use it with other tools to create a full VR-like photo experience Stitching isn't perfect, especially in small rooms where it gets tricky, but it seems to be much faster and better than Google Street View in my experience so far.
No Instructions is Inexcusable
by Msduvall on 2016/10/10 20:52
As far as I know, this app works...but I'm not sure, because there is no help, no support, nor is there a tutorial. For example, this app is supposed to be capable of making stereoscopic views--which is why I bought this app-but I have not a clue as to how to go about doing so. Once in a while, I see the menu with stereoscopic option, but it NEVER works...again, I'm guessing. Many apps used to be guilty of this sort of laziness, but recently, I've seen a definite improvement--most apps are now providing detailed instructions. So...join the quality apps and give users some basic idea how to use the other options.
I’d like to know soon so I can refund this app and migrate to a more up to date software if this is the case. Quite a bummer because i really loved this app and talked highly of it to many people.

I love this app. It is absolutely amazing. Everyone knows that other people's vacation photos are incredibly boring. Except when you use this app. It allows your friends to feel like they were with you on vacation especially if you use the iPad version. Anyone who doesn't give this five stars is nuts. Just make sure you use the gyroscope option
Well done

After reading some other comments I was skeptical but this is actually a really cool app. I can see how some minor feature changes, as described by others here, would make it even better; but seriously for $1 I wasn't at all disappointed and will definitely get some use out of this when the snow starts falling soon.
The best & most fun Panoramic App

I remember when Sony Ericsson phones were perhaps the only camera phones that had panoramic abilities; and then the iPhone came out 2007 and the developers at Occipital came out with ClearCam and more recently this wonderful Panoramic app. This app is so easy to use on the iPhone 6S+. Please don't change the features. The only suggestion I have is to add free style cropping in the app.
Thank you for this
by LuckyM12 on 2016/04/18 08:34
So glad this app exists. I love picstitch type apps and ever since photosynth punked out and deleted itself off of my phone. I've been fairly bummed I didn't have a 360 pic taker and angry stupid Microsoft deleted photosynth in the first place, it was a good similar app as well. Regardless, this app works better and is available. So thank you, and great app. I recommend it and you'll love it.
Thanks
Not perfect but still...wow.
by Islandsinger on 2016/06/20 22:20
I stumbled across this app while looking for VR content and, after reading mostly positive reviews, decided to gamble $1.99. I am very glad I did! It does not do spotless panoramas, so only 4 stars but for spinning around with an iPhone 6 plus for about a minute or so, the results are most impressive. Yeah, you'll get some mismatches here and there but, hey, you paid $2. Worth the price of admission if you ask me.
Stuck
by Loquetus66 on 2019/08/17 18:35
I’ve always liked this app, but the truth is...
Needs updating
by mikey186 on 2016/12/31 06:08
It's been over a year since the app is never updated. Needs ios 10 support, and needs improving on the engine. When I tried to take pictures, some of the parts especially when the camera changes focus especially the lightning, the photo doesn't come out perfect. Please fix it
Fast but incompatible
by MrFricano on 2016/06/20 00:15
I love this app because it allows you to take a 360 really quick (compared to the Google Street View app). However, when you export the images to your camera roll and try to use them in other apps, the images are incompatible. I think this is because of the resolution size that it uses, which doesn't seem to be the standard that everyone else uses. Would give this 5 stars if this was fixed.
Amazing app, way ahead of its time.
by MikiMilano on 2016/03/16 20:02
I rarely write reviews but this app deserves it! I have been able to capture mini worlds with single camera, interpolated together like a seamless environment, works really great. I hope the team behind this app is getting the right amount of credit, it deserves success and praise.
Easy to use
by 1DNH on 2016/04/13 17:59
This is a great app. It is easy to use and get great 360 panoramas. There was a short learning curve while I figured out how to best hold the phone and how fast to pan. But I was getting good shots the 3rd or 4th time I tried. I wish I had this app on some of my recent travels. I can't wait to use it on my next trip.
Finally
by Buckey420 on 2016/02/16 13:16
I finally found an app that does what I was looking for one to do , correctly! The only thing I would add (this is minor) is the option to load a saved picture in the actual direction you were facing when the picture was taken in.
by Dispatcher7 on 2019/05/21 13:44
I’ve tried numerous times. Changed every set for I can find and still can’t share to Facebook. Every time I try the app says my connection to the Facebook account has expired. I go through the process to reconnect. Follow the share process and the app says it couldn’t complete the share. It’s an endless loop. I have tried restarting the phone too.
Love the app. Just disappointed it hasn't progressed over the years
by Aaron Boggs on 2016/05/13 16:02
I've used this app for years and love it. I'm an engineer that deals with a lot of construction management in remote areas and this helps me revisit areas that I have saved in 3D. However I have never seen any updates or new features for app. Geotagging of photo would be great.
Not that great
by Metricwrench on 2016/08/27 01:51
It just doesn't work that well. The stitching is off, and the coloring is no good. You need to be outside in a wide open space or it won't even come close to working. I can't imagine what practical use it would be for anything other than playing around. I never even could figure out how to get the images off of my phone because there would have been no point anyway.
Great app, functional
by Nerd133526 on 2016/01/12 20:18
This app works great and it takes acceptable 360 degree panoramas It's not just one of those apps that just take a horizontal only 360 panorama this app adds the Y-axis into play also It's functionality is great but my only request is that it would update to a more modern look as it hasn't been updated in a while
Awesome!
by Cory0x01 on 2016/04/05 15:44
Unlike other apps, you don't have to click multiple times; you just pan the camera around. Some edges don't quite line up making some objects look ghosty. But other than that, I can't see much room for improvement.
Mostly great...
by Husky Robusto on 2018/04/07 22:00
I just wish I had the option to re-expose on each image. For instance, I'm sitting in my garage with the garage door open. I want to to be able to properly expose to the sunny outdoors while being able to properly expose to the interior of the garage. Can't be that hard to implement as a feature...right?
Powerful Panorama
by kwikfile on 2016/09/02 01:08
This app is cool. Very easy to use, take your time and capture up and down by your feet and above your head. This little app can do it! The finished Panorama is amazing! Note: be aware when people are moving about they will be chopped... But sometimes that is a cool effect.
Not Great
by Metricwrench on 2016/06/17 04:04
I don't understand all of the good ratings. The stitching is not even close to accurate unless you are capturing a 360 view with a 100 yard radius or more. If you try to capture a view in a room with an 8 or 10 foot radius, you run out of space before you even turn a full 360. When you see a spot that is not accurately stitched, there is no way to go back and redo. Coloring is not that good either. Don't pay money for this app.

Terrible
by Jungadin on 2020/05/09 18:22
The stitching is absolutely terrible.
Can’t believe I honestly just spent money on this.

grateful for this imperfect app
by Dominicvine on 2019/12/27 06:00
when this app first came out i loved showing it to people as an example of what the iphone could do it’s still very impressive and the imperfections of this mode of 360° photography is quaint because it is no longer necessary. it’s not “the best” algorithm out there . . . but it’s imperfection allows you to exploit it in uniquely creative ways. . . layering people’s faces all over the sphere, cutting up the scene, causing people to float in whatever context you place them. it’s great fun to be able to be creative. . . or just capture a moment: i’ve been using this almost a decade. . . I've got about 300 captures with it that are in my account here. i love it. try it out and play with it. there is a lot you can do with it beyond the obvious. thanks creative team!
No longer uploads on iOS 13.2... waiting for an update to fix

Crashes when trying to share to camera

They own your photos
by Sanfog on 2019/10/29 02:19
It seems impossible to get your 360 photos out of the app to anything but their servers. I want to be able to view, save, and export my pictures taken with this app not share some advertisements with friends. Avoid this company.
Low quality
by Tydence on 2019/10/05 14:23
It worked well years ago. But, the quality hasn’t kept up with the iPhone cameras. It looks like it was shot with a 3g.
First version from years ago was perfect
by joe joe 1957 on 2019/09/10 20:18
It has steadily grown worse with each improvement. All the images are splotchy.

Never had accelerometer issues with this phone: it’s fairly new, and the few AR apps I’ve run work very well with no graphics drift.

by wwmarron on 2019/08/17 17:25
Got this app because my FB app never convert my panoramics into 360, this app makes the 360 easily, but the “Sharing” to FB or Twitter doesnt work at all. Have tried for the 100th time and different ways, just doesn’t work.
Awful app

Horrible
by An11secmustang on 2018/11/20 20:52

by Dead Papa on 2018/11/16 17:23
I rarely take the time to leave reviews but this needs to be posted.

Works great!
by Etrac man on 2018/08/29 23:41

AND PLEASE update app to support iPhone X!

by Leomajor88 on 2018/07/17 18:52
The software needs some serious work. I remember using a similar app 5 years ago that stitched photos together flawlessly. This app doesn’t do that. Photos look like crap, no matter how slow and steady my hand is. Don’t buy.

This was a great photo app till it started crashing instantly. My iOS is up to date. My phone is not old. I guess they stop supporting this app. I’m very disappointed.

I just wish I had the option to re-expose on each image. For instance, I'm sitting in my garage with the garage door open. I want to to be able to properly expose to the sunny outdoors while being able to properly expose to the interior of the garage. Can't be that hard to implement as a feature...right?

Fail 7+
by SurfjunkieJustin on 2017/12/26 17:42
Doesn't function for me on my iPhone 7+.

I’d like to know soon so I can refund this app and migrate to a more up to date software if this is the case. Quite a bummer because i really loved this app and talked highly of it to many people.

by Snowdogfather on 2017/09/30 15:15

Enjoy!

It’s Okay
by DaKanakAttack on 2019/08/26 04:54
This app works okay.

I love this app and it keeps getting better
by jaymz32 on 2016/04/30 14:46
I first bought this app several iPhones ago.

Awesome App - Love it!!!
by P1izm on 2015/11/27 18:23
This little app is a Giant! Works better and better with every upgrade. Saves me a ton of work with stitching multiple pics.
Pretty much worthless if I can’t use them
Lost years of photos
by Dude0u812 on 2018/08/13 15:15
(Updated review) This uses a proprietary document format, and the ONLY way to backup data is through their proprietary cloud NOT iTunes.
I’d like to know soon so I can refund this app and migrate to a more up to date software if this is the case. Quite a bummer because i really loved this app and talked highly of it to many people.
Amazing!
by Sean194874892 on 2017/03/04 18:03
I love this app.
Well done
by gatsby101 on 2015/12/13 18:42
After reading some other comments I was skeptical but this is actually a really cool app. I can see how some minor feature changes, as described by others here, would make it even better; but seriously for $1 I wasn't at all disappointed and will definitely get some use out of this when the snow starts falling soon.
The best & most fun Panoramic App
by Stefanos Gatdoulos on 2016/11/07 04:55
I remember when Sony Ericsson phones were perhaps the only camera phones that had panoramic abilities; and then the iPhone came out 2007 and the developers at Occipital came out with ClearCam and more recently this wonderful Panoramic app.
