Use the Crowdsignal app to collect survey data and do quizzes in the field — no need for an internet connection.
Important notes:
This app allows you to sync surveys and quizzes created at crowdsignal.com to collect data from your customers in person at trade shows and other events.
The app supports surveys and quizzes only. Polls and ratings are not supported.
Offline Survey Response Gathering
Just fire up the Crowdsignal app on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch and enter your Crowdsignal account information (Crowdsignal account required). Once you’re logged in, select the surveys from your Crowdsignal account you’d like to make available for iPad, and the app will download all of the questions information to the device. You can now take this survey out into the world and collect offline responses and when you’re back on the internet, you can sync those responses back to crowdsignal.com where you can do all of the analysis and decision-making you’ve come to rely on.

I don’t recall ever installing this app, but the App Store is giving me the option to update it? I’ve tried searching my phone so I can delete this app I supposedly installed, but I can’t find it anywhere on my phone...

It's awfully nice that this app will basically play back a survey that you want someone else to fill out. But really, I'm going to point people to a URL to do that, not hand them my iPhone or my iPad.
What I would like to do is get some work done, so design and craft surveys. That takes a lot of time, and having it in the palm of my hand, offline, for me to work on, build, and test... THAT would be really useful!
Seriously - collecting surveys offline just seems like a really niche use for this app.

It took me a little while to get my account settings right, but even after that I wasn't able to view any of my polls that had been made from my computer. Also, there was no option to create a new poll. The app is a complete waste of time but I will hope for a crucial update.

If you use polldaddy on your computer don't bother with this app. It does not pull your account data, nor does it allow you to create surveys. This is a broken app.

A team of interns at my work have to issue marketing surveys at every show and this app has made a world of difference in getting thing s done quickly and efficiently. From answering questions to being able to add emails to our marketing newsletter quickly. Thumbs way up.

Great concept, but seems to need a update. I cannot sync my offline surveys. When clicking on a survey, I get a black box...no options to sync App also freezes when pushing the button in the righthand corner with the arrow.

We needed to survey people on the streets. We created a survey online (computer), and then took to the streets with our iPhone and app and got the results. Them you just sync to the cloud and get results on computer. This app just lets you survey in the field. Works great for that. People complaining about the stupidest shtuff.

I already made an account online, but I can't sign in to my Polldaddy account. Someone please fix this soon, as the only reason I got an account was for tablet use!

This is a good app with a nice, clean design, but the problem is that you can do hardly anything on the app. There was no problem with logging in on my iPad mini, unlike what others said.
The app would be better if I were able to create a survey right in the app.

Good iPhone survey app

This worked great for me. I created a quick survey online then it sent it to the app. Only 4 stars because the site wasn't designed for mobile devices. Did a survey insure and it worked great.

Simply put, it doesn't work….at least on iOS devices.
They have a very nice customer service person and a tremendous computer interface, but when push comes to shove, the content doesn't go on your device. It was an absolute waste of time.

Not nearly feature parity with the website. Would like polls please, since that is primarily what I subscribed and paid so much money for. Promising, but waiting for some mondo updates.
Powerful, but misses the basic

It's always wierd when you see something doing advanced stuff but missing out on the basic level. Imagine if you downloaded a Twitter client that could manage lists, geotag stuff, see media inline... but couldn't show you your replies timeline. That's how I felt trying out this app just now.
Polls are in the very name of the app, but you can't do a simple poll on it. It's just about surveys. I can go on the website and craft a whole series of single and multiple questions, along with some text-based opinion forms and sync them over the air with my iPad to let people take them on the street. But I can't create a simple yes or no question right on the app. That's just....... it baffled me. And I'm not easily baffled.
I think should either add this BASIC feature to the app or just rename it to Surveydaddy.

After prompting me to sign in, it shows me a blank screen asking if I want to save my settings. It doesn't show any of my polls, so until they fix this, it's hard to give this a favorable review.

I think the direction the app is going looks promising. The web based dashboard if feature packed and easy to use. The app needs more features for the admin side and better security to keep results private. Also needs a way to share right from the iPad - email and/or print.
-There's no way to keep survey takers from seeing everyone else's data on the iPad.
-Needs a setting so that each person can be restricted to take the survey only 1 time, for example the same email address should not be able to be used twice by different survey takers. The only options are to allow 1 responser per machine or multiple responses. This needs some further options to say 1 responser per email address, etc.
-Needs a way for the survey taker to check a box so they can get a copy emailed to them.
-Print support would be great.
I'm sure their next version will have more features that will make this an app worth using more frequently.
The web based product would get a 4 star rating. But since this is about the App it's only a 3.
