Make the text size interactive with Accessibility features is my only complaint. Very hard to read the very small text which is absolutely impossible in any lighted environment.

I bought this app expecting little, and I am flabbergasted that it took me this long to buy it. For $2 I can fix that ONE little thing that messes up a photo. And it is nearly freaking seamless and idiot proof.
I first used it to remove a spigot from the bottom corner of a photo at a local art studio photo wall. It really made the photo look so much more professional and neat without jeopardizing the quality of the photo too much.

I loved the app and it is great but it really doesn’t erase humans out of images. It only erases small objects or small people (far away) but it should be able to remove someone whose close.

there was a thin streak of long hair that was blown on the face by wind.
The app doesn‘t work at all for this scenario. Tried to send feedback inside the app in the email, but that feature doesn’t work either.
And app crashes multiple times. the ui looks very nice. but functional-wise failed so bad.

It’s so much easier than using Lightroom phone app for object removals and line segments.
The sharing feature is also great since I can just send that photo straight from LR into this app in full size.
I don’t know if it looses some quality in the transfer, so far photos are great, especially for social media and on the Go. Of course if you’re on the desktop using LR just keep using it, but for on the go, this hands down much user friendly and works awesome.

I use this app constantly but the pencil size does not get small enough. When I take it to the smallest size, it still gets bigger when I use it. Wish you would fix this.

Simply blown away by the quality and ease of use. Was quite skeptical because I'd been using other apps such as Snapseed to do powerline and blemish removal. Was worried about keeping full resolution output as well. This app blows everything else away.

Even better than anticipated, I removed a power line pole ruining a forest photo with trees just behind it, it perfectly removed the pole without altering the trees behind it as well as the power lines that I didn't even select saving an additional step, love this app!

I tried this and Adobe Photoshop Fix. After comparing the two, I wish I didn’t buy this app and could get a refund. Adobe Photoshop fix offers retouch capabilities and much more all for free. I also think Photoshop Fix does a better job at removing unwanted things from photos. Unless you really need the feature that easily removes lines from photos, I would advise trying Photoshop Fix.

UPDATE: after reviewing this app years ago, it’s only right that I tell you that it is every bit as magical today as it was then. The addition of line and segment removals simply cements it as a must-have app for anyone who is serious about making their scans/photos look as good as they possibly can be. I still marvel at how I can do this on a smartphone!
TouchRetouch only does a few things. It removes objects, clones, and repairs. The thing is, it does them really, really well. I would be lost without this app, which has repaired/ fixed MANY damaged old photos, some which I never would have thought were repairable. If you deal with scanned photos, it’s absolutely essential!

I have been a photographer for over 30 years. From film to digital. I started using photoshop for some of my event photos (you know, if one baby is looking the wrong way in a group of 20 people, or if Grandma at the table was eating mid-capture etc). I don’t like to use any photo editing software for my work now, over the last 5 years despite owning super expensive products like Photoshop CS or Illustrator that used to cost me at least $700-1100 each program!

Need space around object being removed

It took me a while but I figured out that the removal is being down by covering object to be removed with what is next to it. So removing objects with things around it will resulted in what looks like a repetition of the near by object. So objects being removed from the sky will look great while removing something with a lots of other things around it, not good!

Why are there two versions of this application? One is for iPhone the other is for iPad. I have never seen two apps that are identical, but one for iPhone and the other iPad. Normally I would purchase the app and have access to it on both my iPad and iPhone. Because of this, when searching for the app I was not given the correct version. I was taken to the iPhone app which is not what I wanted. I had to spend 15 minutes figuring out how to request a refund. I did eventually find the correct version for iPad.

I used this app on my LG phone, and was so happy to see it for iPhone. I only have one request, please let us lock the clone tool. It would really help make editing easier. I remember it used to lock, and I didn’t have to back track so much. Thank you.

Dude I've never rated an app before. But I took my butt to the app store and found the app again because this app is INCREDIBLE!! It's so easy and I'm axed with the results. I don't have to put in the 10-20 minutes it takes to get rid of thing in my pictures. This app does it PERFECTLY in less than a second. I am so amazed. I would pay more for this app.

Not specific enough. Circle of color to clone is too big even when adjusted to its smaller size. Constantly bumping into other color edges and then cloning wrong colors. Very frustrating. I’m going to look for another app.

I wish I could write a better review or this product. I was looking for an app that lets me crop out parts of pictures and keep on their own and while reading this app supposedly states it offers that, it does not. And that I literally all I was buying it for! And I cannot get my money back or even get into my emails to contact anyone because it never sent one to me! I would appreciate it if someone would contact me so I can get this dumb matter dealt with!

I got this app as a way to remove leashes in my pets photos as they’ve become an eyesore but as he’s a fox he cannot walk without a leash. Now I can post amazing photos on his Instagram Tod_the_foxx without a leash or other objects in the photos and it looks like they were never there!!!!! Worth the money! Best out there!!!

Remove a window in a brick bldg. no problem you can even blow up the image and other than a couple of wavy bricks you can’t tell

Wall sockets? Gone. Ugly doorknobs? Gone. Porta-potty ruining an otherwise great shot? Gone. Very easily mind you. This isn’t just a “blemish remover” kind of deal, but rather a really effective object remover, and not an iffy one either. Finished image edits are actually really impressive quality. Edits where objects once were are, say, 99% unnoticeable. It’s very user friendly and quick to use as well. This app is phenomenal and will make the shots I take 1) Look better and 2) Much less time consuming to edit. Definitely worth the download! Thank you!

‘Surprised I’ve not yet written a review. ‘Been using TouchRetouch for a month or so and couldn’t be happier. This is the kind of app you don’t need often but when there’s a need to remove an unwanted defect in a photo or a small distraction Retouch does an amazing job. Really. I find it is easier and perhaps more effective to do something like remove a small lens flare artifact right on the phone with Retouch rather than work with the image on the desktop. Usage is very straightforward and the results are excellent.

I cannot even express the amazing differences are with this app. Wow! If there are one or 2 people in the background of your photo, with this app, you can remove them. I’ve stood in front of my sliding door and removed the lines to make it look like I’m standing in front of a blank wall. This app is fantastic!! So worth it!

Although it works well for SMALL lines it’s much harder to remove larger objects as easily as it portrays! A FREE APP IS COMPARABLE. Not satisfied with spending even the small amount of 1.99. To remove an object of 5-10% of the image took close to 30 minutes to make the blend non apparent. The blemish remover removes all detail so forget using it over brick or other like objects. This app could much fine tuning.

When I decided to play ‘Let’s pretend an iPad can replace my Mac’, I had to try out tons of goofy apps just to be able to do the simplest things I could do before.
If I were turning that story around and was trying to replace my iPhone or iPad with a Mac, I’d be looking all over to find something to replace Retouch. Even Photoshop didn’t have the ease of use and predictability of success I get with this app on my phone.
Super intuitive and accurate, with some unique features that do what you’re hoping they’ll do. Use it right in Photos for a super slick, fast fix.

I NEVER buy apps! I repeat- I NEVER buy apps! I was like another reviewer and assumed there’s no way this could work... I wish I could show you the AMAZING photos I have achieved with this app! I can now take photos and just know I’ll remove something out of it, instead of just not taking the photo I wanted. Sometimes you have to retouch something you’ve removed to make the photo to your liking but I have not regret this purchase one time & even have friends who have bought it after seeing why I can do with it!

Don’t waste your money on this app. I trusted the video and images and paid for it, only to quickly find out its lack of skill. All this app is, is a EXTREMELY poor blur tool and won’t remove anything like the dev implies. Seriously, I’ve tried it on everything possible and it can’t process one image without a noticeable and very obvious smudge.

I took a awesome photo of the sunset but I had someone’s head in the picture so I tried the app and it actually was able to remove the head with no kinda blemish in the photo! I mean maybe if you look really hard and zoom in you might notice a lil something but this app is really amazing

I was skeptical about the reviews because it isn't difficult to mass produce positive comments to make it seem like everyone in the entire world (and Canada) loves something. Sadly, this is true for so many things anymore but I didn't find that here. I am not someone who writes a lot of reviews because I don't find very many things that really live up to all of the hype of the "FakeBook" crowd.
TouchRetouch IS an amazingly powerful, smart, indispensable and FAST photo enhancement suite of tools that you will be using almost as often as your camera itself. This is money well spent.

I needed this to remove some watermarks off of pictures of my dog. I found it very easy to use and I absolutely know nothing about editing pictures. You’ll have to play around a bit if you don’t know a lot about editing but it’s totally worth it easier to do from my phone. The pictures are beautiful and you can’t ever tell that there was something there

This app is simply terrific. It does a great job at removing unwanted items almost magically. I have never been good at using Photoshop or Lightroom to remove telephone lines. This app allows me to do it with ease. I almost never review apps, but I am so appreciative of this one that I had to send some kudos. Much thanks for a splendid photographic editing tool.

UPDATE: after reviewing this app years ago, it’s only right that I tell you that it is every bit as magical today as it was then. The addition of line and segment removals simply cements it as a must-have app for anyone who is serious about making their scans/photos look as good as they possibly can be. I still marvel at how I can do this on a smartphone!
TouchRetouch only does a few things. It removes objects, clones, and repairs. The thing is, it does them really, really well. I would be lost without this app, which has repaired/ fixed MANY damaged old photos, some which I never would have thought were repairable. If you deal with scanned photos, it’s absolutely essential!

I decided to purchase this app based largely on the reviews. And it is totally worth the cost! Object removal is just as good as using Photoshop. It’s easy to enlarge the area to work on, which produces a much better result. There may be some objects it will have difficulty removing, but that’s not any different when working with Photoshop. I am extremely happy with your app. Thank you!!
... I’ve now been using this app for a few months. And I love it even more!! To get the best results, you have to zoom in heavily to the spot you want to alter, then highlight it. It won’t work on a small piece if you don’t zoom in. It works wonderfully!!

I was dubious about this app as I didn't much like the idea of messing with my pictures especially as I am clumsy. That was about three years ago...
I think I'm into the third update of Touch Retouch and they keep improving it.
It's easy - really - and unobtrusive and it encourages me to take risks with my photo compositions. For instance if there is an obtrusive sign or wire I just don't care. I know how to get rid of it in seconds.
The latest version makes everything easier and better integrated into your photo files than previously.
Use with confidence. Can't recommend this app enough

When I decided to play ‘Let’s pretend an iPad can replace my Mac’, I had to try out tons of goofy apps just to be able to do the simplest things I could do before.
If I were turning that story around and was trying to replace my iPhone or iPad with a Mac, I’d be looking all over to find something to replace Retouch. Even Photoshop didn’t have the ease of use and predictability of success I get with this app on my phone.
Super intuitive and accurate, with some unique features that do what you’re hoping they’ll do. Use it right in Photos for a super slick, fast fix.

I was skeptical about the reviews because it isn't difficult to mass produce positive comments to make it seem like everyone in the entire world (and Canada) loves something. Sadly, this is true for so many things anymore but I didn't find that here. I am not someone who writes a lot of reviews because I don't find very many things that really live up to all of the hype of the "FakeBook" crowd.
TouchRetouch IS an amazingly powerful, smart, indispensable and FAST photo enhancement suite of tools that you will be using almost as often as your camera itself. This is money well spent.

I NEVER buy apps! I repeat- I NEVER buy apps! I was like another reviewer and assumed there’s no way this could work... I wish I could show you the AMAZING photos I have achieved with this app! I can now take photos and just know I’ll remove something out of it, instead of just not taking the photo I wanted. Sometimes you have to retouch something you’ve removed to make the photo to your liking but I have not regret this purchase one time & even have friends who have bought it after seeing why I can do with it!

Wall sockets? Gone. Ugly doorknobs? Gone. Porta-potty ruining an otherwise great shot? Gone. Very easily mind you. This isn’t just a “blemish remover” kind of deal, but rather a really effective object remover, and not an iffy one either. Finished image edits are actually really impressive quality. Edits where objects once were are, say, 99% unnoticeable. It’s very user friendly and quick to use as well. This app is phenomenal and will make the shots I take 1) Look better and 2) Much less time consuming to edit. Definitely worth the download! Thank you!

For the couple bucks that I paid for this app, it is MORE than worth it. I’m only just beginning to play with it but it has already saved several photos of my kids that I’ll now get to cherish forever (without the weird random man in the background, or the vacuum we forgot to put away, or the ugly road cone at the park, etc etc). Very easy to use right off the bat and I’m sure the more I work with it the more impressed I’ll be. None of my other photo apps work this precisely or this easily. Thumbs up!

I’m super skeptical. Whenever I see sooooo many 5 star reviews, I automatically think: FAKE REVIEWS. Y’know, the app just seemed too good to be true. I love taking photos with my phone. I’d get super frustrated when I couldn’t edit them correctly or when I did, that it took far too long to get from point A to point B. So, I took a chance & spent the $1.99. I’M SO HAPPY I DID!!!! After using the app for about 5-10 minutes, I was able to easily beautify my photos. GET. THIS. APP. !!!!!! You won’t regret spending the money ;-).

‘Surprised I’ve not yet written a review. ‘Been using TouchRetouch for a month or so and couldn’t be happier. This is the kind of app you don’t need often but when there’s a need to remove an unwanted defect in a photo or a small distraction Retouch does an amazing job. Really. I find it is easier and perhaps more effective to do something like remove a small lens flare artifact right on the phone with Retouch rather than work with the image on the desktop. Usage is very straightforward and the results are excellent.

It’s so much easier than using Lightroom phone app for object removals and line segments.
The sharing feature is also great since I can just send that photo straight from LR into this app in full size.
I don’t know if it looses some quality in the transfer, so far photos are great, especially for social media and on the Go. Of course if you’re on the desktop using LR just keep using it, but for on the go, this hands down much user friendly and works awesome.

A former software developer. I download more photo apps than you can imagine. This app is clean and specific. It loads your photos instantly. It does what you want instantly. They constant improve it/making it my go to editing app. These developers understand how uses interact with software. Want to get rid of telephone wires in your photo? No problem. Person standing behind the person you photographed? If I could I partner with these guys.

Photography is a huge part of my online store. When I take a picture of a product that I’m selling on a whim, in most cases, I’ll love the pic, but the background kills it. I’ve been using it for a few months now & I don’t know how I ever got along without it!! Get it, take some pics. Play around with it. Stretch it to the limits...
You’ll be happy, AND be able to edit out the stuff you’ve needed to edit from the beginning of your digital photo taking life!!

After reading such glowing reviews I thought this would be a fabulous app for quickly removing random junk from my pictures. I suppose it is...if you have a very very very steady hand and a lot of patience. Oh, and if you don’t mind having a photo that looks like a puppy went wild with a cloning tool. I get better results using clone on any free app or program. I tried ten different pictures ranging from complicated objects to super simple lines, and they all looked awful. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but this app just doesn’t work for me. If you are looking for a quick and easy fix, save your $2. Sorry.

I am a professional photographer who is a heavy Photoshop user. I have acquired dozens of iPhone apps to try to retouch on my phone and have it look good. I bough the Handy app from this company and although I like it, the reason I got this app too is specifically for the line removal tool. It is great for annoying things like power lines and the remove object option can remove power poles and other things very well.

This App is like having a magic wand on-hand as you edit ... to those reviewers stating their photos were ruined by this application, I only wish to say; the application is a tool. And in the hands of one who knows how to use the tool properly great things can be accomplished. Then there are those who do not take the time to learn and practice so they might use the tool properly. I guess what I'm trying to say is you made your bed now lie in it.
Do not curse the tool, curse the one who wields it as a fool.
To the developer, thank you for the update - perhaps in the future avoiding a lengthy gap in between updates would please your customers a bit more.

I bought this app expecting little, and I am flabbergasted that it took me this long to buy it. For $2 I can fix that ONE little thing that messes up a photo. And it is nearly freaking seamless and idiot proof.
I first used it to remove a spigot from the bottom corner of a photo at a local art studio photo wall. It really made the photo look so much more professional and neat without jeopardizing the quality of the photo too much.

If you are looking for an app that works seamlessly in the iOS photos app to remove unwanted objects from pictures, this is it. The app does so easily and incredibly effectively. Obviously not quite up to photo shop level, but great for most situations and super easy. There maybe other apps that do this well, but I haven’t found one that’s easy and quick for everyday situations.

I have to say I was skeptical when I purchased this app because I’ve never had an editing software that can edit away lines and objects perfectly. With TouchRetouch I have edited several photos with unwanted items and they vanished smoothly. I am very impressed with this app and hope to see even better, crazier updates in the future.

Once I got used to it, it works pretty well and is fun to use, though it does take some practice and patience. (I’m the type who enjoys sweeping the porch—so satisfying!) Helpful hint: If you need to work on the edges, you need to launch the app first, then select the photo from your album, then you will be able to work on the entire image. I’d be lost without this app. Makes for an easy workflow!

I took a awesome photo of the sunset but I had someone’s head in the picture so I tried the app and it actually was able to remove the head with no kinda blemish in the photo! I mean maybe if you look really hard and zoom in you might notice a lil something but this app is really amazing

Two versions

Why are there two versions of this application? One is for iPhone the other is for iPad. I have never seen two apps that are identical, but one for iPhone and the other iPad. Normally I would purchase the app and have access to it on both my iPad and iPhone. Because of this, when searching for the app I was not given the correct version. I was taken to the iPhone app which is not what I wanted. I had to spend 15 minutes figuring out how to request a refund. I did eventually find the correct version for iPad.

I cannot even express the amazing differences are with this app. Wow! If there are one or 2 people in the background of your photo, with this app, you can remove them. I’ve stood in front of my sliding door and removed the lines to make it look like I’m standing in front of a blank wall. This app is fantastic!! So worth it!

I love this app and have been using it for about a year now. Lately, whenever I go into the app, and select a photo to edit, the app crashes. I have made sure it's updated as well as deleted and re-downloaded the app. I wish the glitch would be fixed because I love Retouch and need it for editing!

Love this app... have had it for years. Good clone functionality and nice auto features.
Only complaint is that the app only recognizes 360 photos that are native to the camera roll. I tried using 360 photos imported from google photos and the app did not recognize them as 360 images.

I really bought this app as a toy to play with.
I never thought it would be so fun and easy.
Remove a window in a brick bldg. no problem you can even blow up the image and other than a couple of wavy bricks you can’t tell
I am still exploring features but have truly enjoyed the app

Love that you can save over the original image, less clutter. Only suggestion would be for there to be a way not to destroy the depth map of the image when saving back over the original? Otherwise having a good ol Time removing blemishes and odd objects from photos. Thanks!

I'm a graphic designer by trade and a hobbyist photographer in my spare time, and I've used a number of object removal apps for both iOS and desktop (Mac), as both standalone apps and PS/LR/Aperture plugins. None of them can hold a candle to the consistent accuracy of TouchRetouch. It's blazing fast, rugged, and reproducible. Can't ask for much more than that! Thanks, Devs! 😍

I tried this and Adobe Photoshop Fix. After comparing the two, I wish I didn’t buy this app and could get a refund. Adobe Photoshop fix offers retouch capabilities and much more all for free. I also think Photoshop Fix does a better job at removing unwanted things from photos. Unless you really need the feature that easily removes lines from photos, I would advise trying Photoshop Fix.

I’m blown away by all the flawless reviews. I kept trying to remove objects from my photos and it simply borrows image parts from outside of my selection and puts them in place of the object I’m trying to remove. You’re charging people money for that? It ruins my photos. Please don’t reply to my review with a “Sorry to hear this, please contact our team for support” because there is no support they can offer to ensure the app does what it promises. I’d like my money back, honestly. Deleting this app.

I got this app as a way to remove leashes in my pets photos as they’ve become an eyesore but as he’s a fox he cannot walk without a leash. Now I can post amazing photos on his Instagram Tod_the_foxx without a leash or other objects in the photos and it looks like they were never there!!!!! Worth the money! Best out there!!!

Need space around object being removed

It took me a while but I figured out that the removal is being down by covering object to be removed with what is next to it. So removing objects with things around it will resulted in what looks like a repetition of the near by object. So objects being removed from the sky will look great while removing something with a lots of other things around it, not good!

Well the reason why i am giving it four stars is that whenever i try to remove the object it doesn’t actually remove it. the remover still leaves the object there and it just mess up the whole picture so i hope you can fix it for sure as soon as possible. thank you.

I have never used a tool that does the job better, be it on a phone, tablet, or computer. I’ve been doing digital photography/editing since 2000, what once took me hours to achieve realistic results is now achieved in seconds.

I was looking for an app to get rid of a glare and the reviews for this app were glowing. I think everyone can relate to having a picture you love but something is ruining it so you have to scrap it. I was so excited to use this for my pictures. Sadly, this app is just like every other photo editing app, except this one will cost you! It replaces the objects with things nearby and it just looks weird. Save your money, don’t buy this app. I would be less upset if I didn’t waste $1.99.

Even better than anticipated, I removed a power line pole ruining a forest photo with trees just behind it, it perfectly removed the pole without altering the trees behind it as well as the power lines that I didn't even select saving an additional step, love this app!

I wish I could write a better review or this product. I was looking for an app that lets me crop out parts of pictures and keep on their own and while reading this app supposedly states it offers that, it does not. And that I literally all I was buying it for! And I cannot get my money back or even get into my emails to contact anyone because it never sent one to me! I would appreciate it if someone would contact me so I can get this dumb matter dealt with!

I am used to edit with Photoshop, but when I accepted an invitation to hold a workshop on photo editing with smartphones I dived into that world. I found several great apps, but Touchretouch is the simplest and most intuitive by far. I recommend this app.

I've gotten some amazing results with this app. Excellent when the background is fairly uniform. I've easily vaporized people sitting on the beach and on grass at a park. It also did an amazing job removing bridge cable that obscured one of my shots. Fun and easy to use!

Simply blown away by the quality and ease of use. Was quite skeptical because I'd been using other apps such as Snapseed to do powerline and blemish removal. Was worried about keeping full resolution output as well. This app blows everything else away.
