Option to transfer only a portion of purchased tickets (to my friends) has been removed. Now you can only transfer ALL of the tickets in an order at once. It worked fine last MLB and NFL seasons last year; but now that functionality is gone. As less and less venues accept .pdf hard copy printed tickets, congratulations on making things even more difficult.

Purchase tickets to a show in February the show was postponed. I called for refund or exchange they told me no. I ordered the tickets according to my work schedule, who knows when the next show will be available. It’s almost June that’s 4 months, like people can just waste money like that in a poor economy Better Business Bureau should be notified of this rip off

I bought a ticket last minute. I received an email, but when I went to get the ticket I could not access it. There is no contact phone number in the email nor on the website or app. I tried for 30 minutes, the ticket sales Person at the theater tried to help It should not be this difficult to to access your ticket you just bought?? I had to make a last minute decision and buy another ticket at the ticket booth as the play had already started!! When I finally found a chat service later to to get a refund , the chat person said the seller fulfilled the order and that I should have called to get help. No refund. Seriously!!? With what phone number ??? I had to seriously search for it for 15 minutes! Such a SCAM and very poor customer service.

Stubhub sold me tickets that clearly had an obstructed view, but after discussing with the agent, he said they were not required to list obstructions unless the facility listed them as obstructions. He saw the pictures I sent and agreed the view was bad. I would have thought ticket owners, in this case, STH, would at least be contacted to discuss the issue. He said they don’t do that. Now moving to Vivid resellers to see if they are any improvement over Stubhub as they now have endorsements from Mike Golic.

I used the app for the first time and was never sent any email in regards to printing the tickets or gaining access to the tickets. So I had no way of knowing they needed to be printed beforehand. As a result we ended up missing an hour of the event. When I asked for any compensation from StubHub they refused, stating they sent the email needed even though I have no proof they ever sent it. One supervisor went as far as to call me unbelievable. As someone who has worked in customer relations for years I have never said that to anyone, nor have I ever been called that before. Two out of the three service reps I spoke with were completely rude. Beware, spend your money elsewhere.

The company doesn't own any of the tickets, it's owned by Ebay. I've been sent the wrong tickets and they would not refund my purchase, they told me I would have to resell them on their site of course. I will never buy anything from this company or Ebay again, app for both companies deleted. A friend of mine works at eBay and employees are told to leave good app reviews, scam!

App is great, map is the best amongst any of the ticket sales apps by a lot. Wish I could set certain default preferences with my login. Specifically showing prices with fees included, sort tickets by price, and selecting a specific section or zone to display for a favorite venue. Define by venue should let you search for the venue rather than display a huge list based on location. Otherwise, great app.

Took me 1 hour to unsuccessfully change expiration date with the ap, my phone, and web site. Eventually had to call customer service (the number of which is not anywhere on the website). Service rep was very helpful but i am tired of this service many glitches and problems. Should have better service for the fees they charge

I love what stub hub has done in the past. They were much more transparent and reasonable with their prices. Things have clearly changed over the last year or so and I will be looking for a company that isn’t trying to pillage it’s users. I’m shopping for shark playoff tickets for game 7 right now. A pair of tickets that cost about 200 a piece, stub hub is trying to take an additional $75 per ticket!!!! What the actual $&@$? So instead of being about $400, the price would be over $550. $150 commission for two tickets to go to an already expensive game? I did not purchase any tickets to tomorrow nights game 7 from stub hub for my dad and I based on the principle of the matter. How can stub hub justify that commission??? That doesn’t take into consideration the fee, whatever that is, that they are charging the seller. Talk about double dipping and up charging for a simple but cool service, no thanks! I’ve used stub hub for years. Looking for something else that’s not trying to pillage and rip off it’s long time users, not to mention anyone joining now that doesn’t know better. Very disappointing and I truest hope they provide their great service at a much more reasonable price. Very disappointed with this most recent experience.

I downloaded this app only out of necessity. It adds a surcharge to tickets worthy of Ticketmaster but with half the connivence. I don’t need to be bombarded with ads for shows and events I’m not interested in. All I wanted was my tickets but they can’t be added to Wallet like with other services. I’d advise any venue using this service to reconsider and go with eventbright or brown paper bag tickets. They let you print from home.

Took a risk to buy tickets to a tennis match a few hours before the schedule was announced in hopes to see my favourite player Federer. Got lucky and he was slotted for when my tickets were for. Stubhub then decided to cancel my tickets and give me a refund. Does it have anything to do with the fact that those tickets were now worth 5x as much since Federer was playing? What a shill of a company. Never again. Their “Guarantee” is meaningless and they didn’t try to find me similar tickets at all - said the others are too expensive now. Shocker. Hope someone with more money brings a class action suit against these scammers.

I was trying to resell two tickets on this app and it would not let me upload the two tickets together or individually. It would only let me upload one ticket and then said that there was an error when I uploaded the second ticket as an individual sale(because it would not give me the option to upload two tickets at a time). There are so many fees when the ticket is listed that you have to up the price to get the amount back you want. The customer service email does not work and there was a wait over the phone. The only way to get a hold of customer service with this company is by their live chat. I’m not sure what the issue even was because customer service was not even helpful with providing solutions or answers.

I don’t know how or why people don’t mind paying these types of fees. A 10% fee is realistic, but paying $30 in fees for tickets that total $100 is just outrageous. Companies like this & Ticketmaster are the reason I rarely go to concerts or events anymore. My complaint with this app is that it should show the complete total price of the ticket upfront not after during checkout.

My tickets have not been selling over last month even though prices are below normal. I don’t think they are appearing for others to see. Normally they would sell within one hour of being posted. I purchased tickets to a Miami Heat game and I’ve used StubHub in the past for concerts and ice shows. It’s such a well known brand, you would think they are very accommodating and reliable when you spend hundreds of dollars on their application or website. You would be mistaken. I made an order and realized on the confirmation email that the tickets would not be delivered until two days prior to the event. Typically when you put the option of online delivery, you receive the e-mail with the tickets. Simple process and you have obtained already what you’ve purchased. That wasn’t the case here. I would have to wait from January all the way to April to receive my tickets, 48 hours before the game I’m attending. I called on the same day that I purchased to tickets to request a refund and the online service agent told me the “date of the delivery” was shown three times prior to confirming the purchase, and therefore they could not give me a refund. If this was months later after the purchase was made, I would understand. But I was able to notice it within minutes of the confirmation e-mail. I called my credit card company and once the charge is confirmed (it’s still pending), then I’ll have to go through the hassle to dispute it. What a hassle and a scam. You’ve been warned.

On-the-go usability of this app is infuriating. Customer service amounts to, "Awww, I'm so sorry to hear that you don't like being screwed out of your hard earned money but we would be happy to do nothing about it." When the app fails to tell you that it needs to be updated and instead just says that your email and password don't match (despite resetting the password), you'll end up having to get on a mobile browser. The mobile browser experience is also awful. A new tab opens at every press and when the new tab opens you will be right where you were on the last tab. If you do finally make a purchase and realize instantly that you've just purchased the wrong seats because your fingers are too big and the words on the screen too small, so sorry; you are SOL. If you are trying to set up a way to receive money from selling your tickets, you will have to get on the browser too as you cannot use a card already saved to the app and this information cannot be added on the app. I hope you have PayPal. If not, you will need a check to enter your account and routing numbers. (I always carry a check with me.) I sincerely hope I have convinced you not to install this app. If not, good luck.
Delisted my Tickets!

I will never use StubHub again! I purchased 4 tickets for a Cubs game. I was concerned about the seats right away, and had multiple conversations over several weeks with them about my concerns. I was assured the seats were together (even despite there being a listing from another sale, in the same section, with seats between mine!) I eventually relisted the seats, using the "realist tickets" option on the StubHub website, and purchased other tickets elsewhere for peace of mind. The week of the event I was notified that I listed my seats incorrectly. I was told I would have to delete my Listing, and list my tickets as sets if two, and I would need to enter the ticket SKUs. I explained that I purchased 4 tickets, together, and it seemed shady I couldnt sell them together as a set of 4. I did delete my listing, and entered all the SKUs (despite being a resale), and relisted my tickets. I was then notified the DAY OF THE GAME, as I was on my way to the game, that StubHub had deactivated my listing. They stated I needed to re-enter everything again. I explained that is not an option, since I was currently traveling. Needless to say, I did not end up selling my tickets. StubHub is a complete joke.

I purchased Blake Shelton tickets for tonight's concert and still haven't gotten my tickets. The sellers received my money and were suppose to download the tickets yesterday. I have called StubHub for the last two days and now the best they are offering is to stand up or a refund bc the only available seats left cost more than the tickets I paid for. It's not my fault..I wanted the tickets I paid for. They need to charge the seller for the cost of upgrading my tickets. I for one can't stand and my daughter's present is ruined if they don't make this right. We are suppose to leave in an hour and I still don't have tickets and I'm out a few hundreds of dollars. And one soon to be disappointed daughter when she finds out we dont have the tickets. This was a gift for her and also something she's looking forward to after taking her SAT test all morning. Way to go StubHub for not caring about your customers who have no control over what available tickets are left a few hours before the event. Guess you rather have empty seats than to make this right. TicketMaster will be my go to from now on. This was suppose to be a fun mother/daughter night.

I am not inclined to write reviews but have been very disappointed with Stub Hub. The major issue is with updating prices in the app. When I type in an updated price it does not update my new price after I save it. It does work when I use the bar to adjust the price but when I want to go above their suggested range the bar selection is not useful. Use a Desktop to manage your prices. I’d also find it useful to have a countdown to event time- when i have unused tickets it would be helpful to get a notification so I can drop the price more dramatically to get a sale. It is also good to know that when an event’s official start time begins the listing is removed. Is this necessary? Sometimes people will pay to see part of an event. The final issue is that reposting the same tickets you need to be careful- they will not allow you to do this without a “review process” which takes an unspecified amount of time. This happened when I had 4 tickets listed and wished to give one away, reposted the remaining 3 tickets within 24 hours of game time. Don’t do it. That being said I like stub hub overall- just beware of its limitations.

This is my first experience with using your app to try and resale tickets that I am stuck with. I am not happy with how your company is taxing me and the buyer for every purchase. Y’all get us at buy and at the sale. That’s called double dipping and frankly it’s just not good business. I have very little faith that by using your app I will resale these tickets I got stuck with. I feel that your sliding scale is in place so your company can sale your tickets first and not give your clients a fair opportunity to sell there’s. I don’t like how your company puts a best deal sliding scale on each ticket being sold directing the potential buyer to avoid a purchase. I can go on and on. I think you need to hire me to come in a re organize this much needed money pit you call a company. I’m on the outside looking in and from what my experience has been and from what I see i can tell you that I will never purchase another ticket from this company again. Oh and one more thing. I don’t come cheap. So be prepared to pay for my Creative ideas when you decide to hire me on to fix this broken machine you call a company. Thank you Douglas J Abshire Jr

I was trying to buy concert tickets from stubhub. The first time for some reason under my own account my debit wasent able to go through when it has no problems or information wrong. The next day tryed to buy the tickets with my credit card, 4 times putting the cards information and personal information in (each separate time) they denied my credit card. Calling customer service, then to have the employee UNLOCK my card that had no problems to then see if, for the 5th time, purchasing the concert tickets. He apologized for my experience and then said he would transfer me over to the buying department to make sure I was able to get the tickets. My call was then dropped from Stubhub somehow getting transferred. Calling back Customer service again as I tryed to purchase the tickets. I was then finally able to buy the tickets the 6 time entering my information, with no help from the customer service employee. Very disappointed in my experience as I have used Stub Hub before with no problems. Very unprofessional and hassling this whole process was.

Back in August, I was looking for ticket sell applications for a concert that was taking place at the end of October, and I ran into StubHub. With lots of reviews and a great rating, I didn’t think twice and started the order. Everything worked perfect, got two tickets for a good price....well, it was still very high, but Ticketmaster would sell exactly the same seating position twice as expensive, so I was very happy I closed the deal. Then I started reading reviews from customers and was shocked at how many bad reviews there were, so I started freaking out, thinking what if I don’t get the tickets, what if they are doubles, what if they aren’t legit and will not scan. So I lived with this anxiety those 2 months until the concert took place. Happily, everything went great, we had a great time at the concert and I would certainly buy tickets from StubHub again in the future.

I got a very bad experience. I bought a ticket for me and my friends for this concert. We were so excited. Don't get me wrong we got a good deal and a good buy. It never come to my mind cause it look like legitimate and with their assurance thing. I told my other friends to buy it here cause it was a nice deal. But...... good thing we went there early cause we found out that our ticket was a fraud. It was one of the embarrassing moment in my life. We were escorted to the front desk. They took our ticket. People look at us like a theft. I called their hotline but no answer. I used their 24/7 online chat but after waiting and waiting.. they disconnected me. I was so embarrassed to my friends and to the people that i told them about it. I end up buying the expensive ticket and my friends ticket.... So lesson learned.... be very careful. After complaining since jan 1. I got my refund just right now after two calls and ofcourse another waiting game. One star for the refund. Hopefully this will help you. Dont get fool about their assurance that it is legit... call the office or call the company...

I bought tickets for the monster jam of your app and I agreed to buy 3 tickets for my wife, son and I . I had put 3 tickets but it only purchased one. I screenshot the picture showing that i purchased 3 . Check my email and said I only got one ticket? So I called stub hub customer service to see why i only got one ticket. When I got a hold of them they hanged me up. So I called again and they hanged me up again . On the 4th time they finally didn’t hang me up. I started to tell them why are you hanging me up and why do I only have one ticket when I agreed to buy 3 on your app? So I had to purchase the other 2 tickets through the phone .not only that it doesn’t say if kid go in free at a certain age. My son is 1 and 9months and just found out he could go in for free. So I just got frustrated and mad and paid for a ticket i didn’t have to get because you guys lacked the information in how old kids have to be to go in for free. The first and last time Ima purchased anything through you guys. FYI I got the screenshot saying I purchased 3 tickets

When I went to purchase tickets, I was terrified of all the bad reviews so instead of blindly buying them online, I called them and told the automated messenger that I wanted to buy tickets. I was on hold for about 20 minutes and Fred picked up. I explained to him my worries and all the bad reviews and he explained to me how the company works and that he could help me purchase the tickets over the phone instead of online. I purchased them, the order went through. I got the tickets in my email the minute after the order went through. I had no problems getting the tickets and the price they told me was the price that came off of my account. No scams. If you’re worried about getting scammed by this company, but their tickets online!!! They are officially Ticketmaster tickets that I received. Fred was wonderful over the phone.

I was so excited that I could buy a ticket to see Hamilton the next night while visiting Cleveland. When I got to the theater, I was shocked that the show had already started. After the show, I checked and Stub hub had given me the wrong time for the show in at least three different places (email, text, etc. ) Three people next to me arrived late too! Although Stub Hub claims to “guarantee” their tickets “100%”, it was really hard to find a telephone number to call them about this problem. I spent hours on the phone and was offered a lot of apologies and a credit for the fees that I had paid to be used on my next order. After a lot of back and forth and asking to speak to this manager and that manager, they agreed to give me a cash refund for half of the ticket price. I’m not sure if they really did or not. It was so annoying that It took hours of work to get a partial refund. They should have offered it right away or agreed to give me a credit so I could see the part that I missed! I would not use this service again!

Bought some tickets by mistake (my bad there). Of course, no refunds. Stubhub will happily collect $70 in fees on the $200 tickets. So, only recourse is to sell them at a similar price. Relist the tickets at $200, another $15 in fees on each ticket. Enjoy the money, you ridiculous bozos! Thanks for literally nothing! Whoops, just kidding, the tickets can’t be relisted from the app or their website either! Guess I’m stuck with em. The customer service is friendly. They attempted to relist the tickets for me, but also encounter an error with no explanation. Now the issue has to be escalated because *news flash* the app isn’t capable of doing half of the things it’s supposed to do. What a grand old time I’m having. Hopefully, pending the actual sale of said tickets, I will only have paid $100 for nothing instead of $270 for nothing. Overall, would not recommend unless you own significant stock in this company.

I wanted to buy tickets for a Los Angeles Dodgers game the day before to avoid buying them at the stadium as I usually do. Redownloaded their app to buy the tickets, after finding them, had to update my new address and card info, but the tickets were for the wrong date. There is no any to stop the transaction. Called the immediately, even though it is difficult to find their phone number on their app. Talked with their rep about what had just occurred, and was informed that there is nothing I could do about date. I explained to them about the error date, keep in mind that the game had already started and I live two hours away, even though I did attempt to stop the transaction, once checked out they will not do anything about the situation other than offer to resale them for less than half for what I bought them, remember game had already started, who was really going to buy tickets after an event starts and make to see it. Won't be using them and don't recommend anyone to them.

After purchasing tickets less then a week before the Friday NYC Comic Con, They were sent next day delivery but were not delivered, tracking showed they were still out for delivery. Stub Hub’s Customer service rep felt my discouragement and went above and beyond to make it right for me. It was too late to issue me tickets on that Friday because i work all week and didn’t realized i actually never got them until the day of the event, my friends were already gone. I mentioned that my friends were going again on Saturday and so they issued me tickets for Saturday which turned out to be an even better day according to my friends who had an all week pass. I really appreciate you for trying to make it right, I had a great time to my first ever Comic Con.

I had misplaced physical tickets mailed to me from a HubStub app purchase, traveling out of state to Lakers game. I called customer service, was told that they couldn't do anything to replace tickets but could try to show Staples Center ticket office my HubStub receipt from my app for reprints. At Staples office, I was told that my seats were actually resold on the Lakers ticket exchange and I wouldn't have been allowed entry even if I had the physical tickets, as they were scanned already. So I purchased tickets I couldn't use from the HubStub app. I called back HubStub customer service, and instead of investigating the seller who sold me tickets, the rep kept questioning me on my story and intimated that I was lying or trying to get money back. This is ridiculous, being turned down at the game with 5 people in my party, after driving 7 hours and paying over $620. StubHub not investigating the seller is maddening. I will never use StubHub again and I would recommend anyone who is reading this to get tickets using another method.

Imagine you are excited to go to the game, see that concert or show. You research and pull the trigger. Now they send you a ticket, you are not sure if it walk work but you are hopeful, you get to the venue and... nope. It doesn’t work. The guy taking the tickets just wants you to get out of the way, sorry. Cant come in. Ticket office wont help, and now you realize not only dod you look se your money but you ruined an event you looked forward to for a longtime. There is no sympathy and absolutely no support. Maybe it was your lack of the coding or high tech knowledge, maybe you are a victim of fraud. One thing for sure, they do not care and you ate on your own. Maybe it works for you, this time. But know you will not have any support if it doesn’t. Very sad.

StubHub has pretty much the worst customer service on the face of the planet. They’ll try to make themselves look good on social media and then show you who they really are on phone calls and private messages. They sent me an email saying a buyer needed a refund because the venue wouldn’t let them in because Ticketmaster refunded my tickets. I sent them back an email telling them the buyer wasn’t being truthful about the Ticketmaster refund, and I could provide bank statements to prove it. They never responded. Then two nights ago I contacted them because I was having trouble logging into my account. They then let me know my account had been passed to a collections agency. They had 0 right to do this considering they never gave me notice and never responded to my last email. I am appalled and furious. You don’t just mess with people’s credit. People need credit in very important areas of their lives. I will NEVER use StubHub again and deleted the app from my phone.

Stubhub is run by scammers. Ive tried to sell and buy tickets here, and each time, they stole from me and failed to do their job. When i tried to sell tickets, they either claim no one bought them and sold them (thereby stealing my ticket) or they sell them after i take the ticket down/use them myself and slap me a penalty fee for doing so. This company is super dishonest and their customer service, though responsive, is like a robot and doesnt understand that their business is unfair to the customers. When i tried buying tickets, they sold me ones that got me into the arena, but other people with the “same”tickets were sitting at my seat. And when i complained, they did nothing because they said the tickets they sold me were real. This company is built on bull$hit, lies and deceit. There is more trust in buying/selling tickets offline or other websites/apps. Stubhub is like the communist dictator that history hates and curses upon. So be warned, stubhub steals!!!

OMG.... wth is going ON?! This thing is AWFUL!! Tried to change price on tickets I had listed, wouldn’t let me. Tried to deactivate, which it DID let me, then reactivate, which it WOULDN’T let me. Tried and tried and tried. Uninstalled the app and re-installed it (after “re-booting” my phone). No help. Tried to do a new listing. Wouldn’t let me. Gave up for the day. Tried the next day. No luck. Went to the website. Same freaking issues. Tried to find a work-around by posting a “similar” sale, and changed the seats... which it allowed. But then I was going to delete the old posting (which it also allowed), and then update the seat numbers to the correct numbers on the new posting, but it had deleted THAT posting, too. What...the....Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll?!?!?!?! Went into the menu and got “sell tickets” and it’s just circling for-EVAH. Guess what? I will be selling my Pearl Jam/Fenway tix through another venue. Stub Hub - you snooze, you LOOSE. Get your crap together! Honesty.

This was my First time on stubhub to sell a Harry Potter broadway ticket when my trip got cancelled. I bought the ticket for $500 on stubhub a couple of weeks prior. I couldn’t get the app to list my tickets so after searching for quite a while for a phone number on the site, I called to get help. I spoke with a nice young woman and she said she got the necessary permission to sell. No luck, so I called again the next day, and was assured that this time it would work. Still no luck. Called a third time and was on hold for over an hour and Dean was going to call me back; never did. Finally, the day before the show I reached James who figured out that someone had locked it up on one of the prior calls and he fixed it. Finally! 45 minutes later the listing expired. This is a ridiculous app to sell on, even their customer service reps couldn’t figure out how to make it happen. They would assume no responsibility for the problem. Don’t be tempted to buy on this site.

I accidentally purchased tickets to a concert at the wrong venue. Partially, this was due to the app crashing and me re-entering several times until the purchase. I didn’t realize it would default to a certain date/venue. So I didn’t notice, as the email confirming barely notes in small type the location. It’s a very busy looking email and they send tons of emails advertising. Weeks later, I go to the concert (I think I paid for) and it’s wrong day/venue and it’s past. So they take zero concern about this, after clearly seeing I purchased the correct venue (last min just before walking in). My fault is not catching the error, but they can clearly see I didn’t attend the earlier error event AND THEY DON’T CARE. So buyer beware, I won’t use them again (as they hide behind as middle man). Buy direct and avoid Stuhub. Don’t make the expensive mistake I made. And beware that their tickets look lower priced, but really aren't with all the fees.

The application is not user friendly and when you contact your customer support specialists they are not trained on how to navigate the application. I was trying to update my address which I found that you could not do that in the app by calling (this information should be provided on the app) and the agent was unable to help navigate me to confirm my address was updated. I develop applications for a living and to confirm my updated address I had to go to the help option, type what I needed, re-sign in with my credentials which I then needed to verify it was not fraud (why should I have to log into the app again when I was already signed in and was only using the search/help function), then when it took me to my profile I had to search several tabs before seeing my address. Several opportunities for your company to enhance within this reply. I hope the right people get this information and make a change.

I wish I could give this review negative stars for how terrible an experience I've had with StubHub. I purchased last minute tickets to an event the day it took place. I was told that I would be contacted by an "associate" to arrange for the deliver of my tickets and thought nothing of it. 3 hours before the event started I had not been contacted by anyone regarding the tickets and began to get worried so I called customer service. I was told that I would be given a call back within the next 30 minutes with an update. An hour goes by with nothing so I call customer service again and am given the same response. Needless to say I never received my tickets. Having not received the tickets I assumed I would receive a refund given their "money back guarantee" but I was sadly mistaken. This event happened nearly a month ago and I've called customer service numerous times and have been told that I would be contacted shortly but have never been called or emailed back. They've basically stolen $300 from me. I was not once called to arrange a pick up of my tickets nor given an update throughout this entire process. If anyone reads this review please take my advice and choose a different ticket supplier. While many others have used Stubhub and received amazing deals on tickets, if you're unfortunate to not receive your tickets you will NOT be refunded your money!

Reality is, you may not like paying fees but EVERY SERVICE charges for their service. It’s how people in the SERVICE industry make money. Please remember, you're not just purchasing tickets, you’re paying for a service - a WORLD CLASS experience compared to all the other ticket service vendors I’ve tried. The Stub Hub experience always seems to be superior and for me, the ability to transact with ApplePay is fantastic. A PayPal addition WOULD be nice (it may already exist, just not prominently), but the seamless nature of Mobile searching, ticket sorting and checkout, combined with producing proof of purchase on my phone at most venues is an excellent experience. (Sometimes printout is required - contingent upon the venue.)

I’m not sure why some are saying customer service is bad, but my experience with Stubhub Customer service was phenomenal. I lost my ticket the day before my concert and obviously it’s my fault. I contacted Stubhub twice by chat, and they were very very kind to me and tried to contact the seller to help me. Then, the day of the show, I received a phone call saying they called the concert hall. I would just give my name and they would give me another ticked to attend the show(Dear Evan Hansen). I was really sad the whole day thinking I couldn’t watch the show and Stubhub helped me a lot and I was so happy. Even though, it was my fault to lose my tickets. 11/10. I would recommend Stubhub.

I love using Stub Hub for all my entertainment! They are quick and reliable source for event tickets/seating. I have tried Zigabid and let me tell you... DON’T USE THEM. They had all sorts of trouble with their website. Their response time was lousy, I finally gave up (after repeated request for help via email - no one responded in a timely manner) I finally had asked for credit card refund because I no longer trust nor have faith in their website. Someone did call back trying to save the sales and gave a poor excuse “I didn’t have my cell phone with me at the time.” In this day and age everything is automated and recorded in “real time”. Should not have kept the consumer wait.

If your selling tickets on this site or any site, your trying at least to recoup what you paid for those tickets. Yes in many cases you try for more, but generally your just trying to regain your cost. As time expires and the game is near you start to lower your price again to get close to what you paid. Stubhub abandons all the sellers here because why? They want to sell tickets, they want to recoup their fees to sell these tickets. They really don’t want these tickets priced at cost they want the tickets to sell below the cost to push the market to buy. They don’t send you ideas about selling them at cost they send you emails that tell you your tickets are priced too high. And they allow sellers to price their tickets well below their cost which drives our price down. There has to be some minimum ticket prices that are set for whatever your selling. Then at least the seller can try to recoup their costs.

I had listed physical tickets to an event and 3 days before the event, I got an email at 1am that said my tickets sold and to send by the end of the day. I’m at home with my first born 6 day old son so I don’t exactly have a lot of time to mail the tickets. Anyways, I drop it off at a UPS kiosk at 8pm. Because it wasn’t sent out at the end of the day, but the next day, I was charged $30 which was 40% of the sale price. I’m not upset about not getting paid out, if the buyer didn’t get in time, I don’t deserve the sale; I’m upset that I still was charged for doing my best with the situation that was dealt to me. When I called stubhub, they said that this is a pretty unique situation and you rarely get less than 24 hours to complete a sale. I guess I’m just unlucky. If only the customer service folks had a heart and instead of trying to make a buck at everyone’s expense. I’m done with them.
Beyond Confusing and Convoluted

Stub hub has made the ticket but process beyond confusing and convoluted. When you buy your tickets there is a chance you could be buy mobile only tickets and it won’t say this anywhere in the purchasing process!! When I talked to one customer service agent she gave me the wrong directions and I downloaded and fought with the stub hub app for hours for no reason. After transferring the tickets to my account, I was NEVER able to view them via the stub hub website or app. I was finally able to get ahold of a customer service agent that was kind enough to email actual direction then I had to download the app to the event venue before I was ever able to get my tickets which was only 3 hours before the event started after driving 3 hours to get to said event. It doesn’t seem like whoever makes the application for StubHub is really all that good at it. They appear to have broken the Wallet section again. There is no way to stick the tickets into your Wallet now. I suspect that StubHub may no longer want you to be able to do that. That way you can send your tickets to your friends and they don’t know anything about it. They want you to send the tickets within their own application, so they can collect the information for marketing purposes. Makes me angry. Update: Response to developer. No, in this case, major-league baseball tickets, they have been available for use with Wallet for several years now. In fact I have one currently in my wallet that came from The previous version of StubHub. This is not the first time your app developers have broken the Wallet application with StubHub or, failed to keep up with the operating system versions from Apple. Update: April 2019. Added a star as the wallet functionality is working again. I would have added another but I’m now seeing pop up ads while I’m browsing. Incredibly annoying and demonstrates the greed of stubhub. Seriously, a 26% markup fee on each ticket?

I bought a ticket to Emerald City Comic Con Friday general admission at over double face value. When I received my ticket in the mail it was a kid’s all-week pass. Thinking this was a simple mistake I called customer service and was told that there was a comment by the seller that it was a child’s ticket. I told them I saw no comment when I bought the ticket. Also there is no such thing as a Friday kid’s ticket. The only Friday ticket was a general admittance ticket. The only children’s ticket was an all-week pass (with a face value 40% of a Friday GA ticket). Also the order confirmation email didn’t mention anything about a kid’s ticket. Customer service told me this was my fault. I should have read the special comments and the seller had provided a way in for a child on Friday which according to them is what I ordered. I asked about their guaranteed entry policy and they said that it doesn’t apply to this. They said I can’t resell the ticket as the event was so close and they suggested I sell it to a friend or family member. I never raised my voice and remained calm, but I was told that as we are not getting any closer to coming to an understanding he (the call center manager) was going to be forced to disconnect the call. I’ve never been treated like that by any customer service. Unapologetic amd treating me like I’m trying to scam them.

We bought tickets to a ball game through stub hub and it said we would get our tickets through this app. So bit my and I loaded the app and tried to run it. It got set up and before it could get to showing us anything related to our account it crashed. Now it won’t even get past the splash screen. Really? If there is a network problem the app can’t handle, it should catch it and present and error screen, not just stop. Maybe this was acceptable when smart phones first came out but now it is unacceptable. I sure hope the app works when we need the tickets for the game, which thankfully isn’t for a few weeks.

Bought tickets and was guaranteed by Stub Hub that they would be delivered. The app itself shows I have tickets but if I try and view tickets it just says something went wrong so I have no way of actually gettin into the event. It’s a scam of actually receiving tickets you buy. Customer service keeps “ contacting the seller” or so they say and then tells me that the seller has transferred the tickets, but the venue, Ticketmaster have no record of the tickets. I don’t believe stub hub actually verifies the tickets they sell are real and the buyer is just taking a huge financial risk by purchasing fake tickets and then stub hub won’t back the guaranteed refund policy they advertise. Their only response was “ check your spam folders for delivery”. It’s like they believe people wouldn’t check those and when you tell them it’s been checked they will say they will look into and contact you back but then never do.

The App has a lot of great features. The ability to easily navigate stadium seating charts is high level. The interface is well designed and easy to use. I also love being able to see the field view from where your seats are. I should probably give this App 5 stars but 2 things drive me crazy. First I’m not able to see my gift card credit when I’m purchasing my tickets. Big miss! Secondly the App violates the cardinal sin of Apps. Don’t make me log in every time I use the App. It’s not really an App then, now is it? The reason for Apps in the first place is convenience. If I have to log in nearly every single time I might as well pull out my computer. That alone is worth deducting 2 stars. You could have won it all but these issues cost you a championship.

I had tickets listed on StubHub. Sold them. Gave extra tickets, hard copy and PDF. Customer service tried to contact me and 20 minutes later they overcharged me over $300 to replace tickets that were already good tickets . I responded in less than one hour to their attempt to contact me. But they had already spent three hundred extra dollars of my money. They gave my buyer seats in a different section when my seats were front row seats. I could have resolved the scenario in less than an hour by the way. And when they charged me that extra $300. They didn't say what it was for. So I had to contact them over 2 hours to try and get a resolution. I did not talk to a manager the same day. Then they tried to call me back and left a voicemail. And claimed the issue is resolved. Because they're too cowardly to actually talk to a person who has a valid claim. Also, they cancel/close sales days before the event if hard-printed Tix, and time of start for PDF. People still looking to buy Tix at discount during event. Who does that harm? Why can't they allow people to leave hard Tix at will-call? Easy to verify with Video or acknowledgment from event management. There's no way I can recover my $300 from them, or appeal my claim. I'll guarantee you this; they'll always get theirs!!

Attempted to purchase tickets via the Stub Hub app as I have done numerous times. The tickets did not show up in the app and the confirmation email was not delivered right after purchase. After giving it some time and the tickets still not delivered, I went back into the app and ordered tickets, thinking the initial purchase didn’t go through. After the second purchase the tickets appeared and a confirmation email was received. Approximately 30 minutes later, I received a second confirmation email for the first order. We immediately contacted Stub Hub and was told they have had issues with this and have since made upgrades to the app to avoid this situation. They refused to credit my account and stated the best they could do would be to re-list the tickets. I can’t imagine the money this greedy company makes just off type of issue. Never again!!

I have had problems in past events in which someone was suppose to send me an email with ticket transfers and they never did so I ended up being screwed the day of event ... only purchase if you know you’ll have time and internet access to go tru excess bs that goes into retrieving a ticket .... look to make sure it’s gonna be instantly delivery or ready on your phone application. They never refunded me but rather gave me a voucher... which was aggravating . Be careful ! Besides that, it’s okay website except their EXTREMELY high fee$79 dollars so end up being same price as Ticket master and Ticket master has better customer service. I would only use this app if all my other options have exhausted.

Zero Stars! Crap rating system won't let you give 0 stars. Bought tickets less than 48hrs before event. Said tickets were available for download and print. Bought tickets, then app said seller had until the next day to make the tickets printable!!!! That's less than 24 hours before the event. I was supposed to leave for my weekend plans but now I can't because this awful app will let people sell you tickets they don't even have. Tried live chat and after voicing my problem was promptly disconnected. Guaranteed in time for event means before the event...apparently up to 1 second before. They don't have to give you time to make it to the event....nice guarantee. It's like permission to steal from you. Use one of the other 30 ticket apps as stub hub doesn't give a crap about you or your plans or selling actual tickets that are available to print when you buy them.

Sold tickets to a sold out show last minute. Then one week later buyer claims they were invalid. Tickets were bought directly from the venue, never had any issues with tickets from there before. Received an email from StubHub saying I had 2 days to respond with a scan report. Called the venue and asked for a scan report. Told the manager would call me back which he never did. Called StubHub during business hours, left a message, no one called me back. Sent Stubhub a copy of my receipt for the tickets. Two days later StubHub charged me for the ticket price plus $70. Beware, if you sell your digital tickets and the buyer can’t open the tickets on their phone for some reason or finds a better deal somewhere else or decides not to go they can claim the tickets are invalid and StubHub will charge you. I’m out $200 now, lesson learned, total scam, never again...

I love what stub hub has done in the past. They were much more transparent and reasonable with their prices. Things have clearly changed over the last year or so and I will be looking for a company that isn’t trying to pillage it’s users. I’m shopping for shark playoff tickets for game 7 right now. A pair of tickets that cost about 200 a piece, stub hub is trying to take an additional $75 per ticket!!!! What the actual $&@$? So instead of being about $400, the price would be over $550. $150 commission for two tickets to go to an already expensive game? I did not purchase any tickets to tomorrow nights game 7 from stub hub for my dad and I based on the principle of the matter. How can stub hub justify that commission??? That doesn’t take into consideration the fee, whatever that is, that they are charging the seller. Talk about double dipping and up charging for a simple but cool service, no thanks! I’ve used stub hub for years. Looking for something else that’s not trying to pillage and rip off it’s long time users, not to mention anyone joining now that doesn’t know better. Very disappointing and I truest hope they provide their great service at a much more reasonable price. Very disappointed with this most recent experience.

I was viewing tickets yesterday. I clicked on them and saw a PayPal email that is not my PayPal email address but the email address of the account that I had the last tickets I purchased emailed to. I have NO ASSOCIATED PayPal Account with that email. I clicked on the PayPal email address, hoping to understand why it was listed as my PayPal account. This triggered a purchase with no notice to me at all!!!! No screen saying I had purchased them. This is due to an iPhone issue. If you have selected one- touch for log in, the tickets will purchase as “one-touch”. And with no notification to me other than through email. If it were not for the email, I would have had no idea I purchased these tickets. I now have a $740 charge on my PayPal. I am disputing this charge. My PayPal is not set up with one- touch. This is fraudulent.

Mostly use them to buy tickets, which I've never had an issue with. Once had an issue with the sellers listing being inaccurate and they refunded the purchase. Only complaints are on the app features- when you pull tickets up on your phone and say "see tickets", you either have to print them or email them - why can't you just display them? LiveNation has that feature, wish SH would add it. And the one time I tried to list tickets I had purchased on SH, I got a message that they weren't allowed to be sold- although the other 2 I purchased could be listed. With a few tweaks they could have a stellar app, but for now it's still a good one.

No complaints. I was a little disappointed that I needed to download the app to get my tickets, but once I got the app my life would never be the same. Signing in and having to travel to other apps, like Facebook, is seamless. The app asks you to optionally check your favorite artists that are in the area; I checked a few of my favorites. I then got a glimpse of all their upcoming dates near me. Then, the app uses a fantastic “suggested for you” algorithm to find other favorites. It managed to find a ton of my favorite music and comic acts that I didn’t even check as my favorites. And I got my tickets!

Almost every review is bad, how do they deserve a 4.8??? My very first review ever First time using this app... Bought upcoming tickets to a concert, spent time picking out just where I want to sit, not many seats left for this event ,purchased two tickets, got the confirmation and my card was charged Two days later, get an email from them The seats you had chosen aren’t available, but we’ve got you better ones... Uggg no you didn’t Tried logging into my account, it’s been frozen, called them on the phone, over a hour spent unfreezing my account. They didn’t want to refund my money until I reminded them they didn’t give me the seating I requested. Refund granted, all good, I get a email telling me how sorry they are for the mix up, that my refund has been approved and by the way, those tickets we offered you, they are still valid, go to the concert and have fun on us. Wow!!! However, this again was not true, when I tried to print them it would not let me , called them and again another excuse that they shouldn’t have sent me that message. So beware, they advertise tickets they don’t have, they are very hard to give you a refund, and they promise you things but don’t deliver .. Stay away

I get why you charge service fees, and I know there are minimums even if you go through your competitors. I’m sure yours are equal to or lower than your competitors as well. Is there a way where you could offer incentives (for example) if you purchase tickets for 3 separate events you get a service fee free ticket purchase buying tickets at listed value. I know this would overall lower revenue in some areas, but you have the usability down, I think it would increase repeat customers offsetting the service fee. Just a thought as I don’t know the dynamics of StubHubs business model.

I highly highly do not recommend using StubHub to buy any tickets for anything. We bought 4 tickets to a bucks game, and we had the printed receipt and tickets in hand. We arrived to the game, and someone had already used our 4 tickets!! The bucks stadium could not do anything for us, so we had to talk to Stub hub customer service in the ticket office of the stadium. They said this happens often, where the ticket seller oversells or sells the same tickets to multiple people. If this is such a problem then why don’t they fix it. The bucks did all they can do, and Stub hub customer service helped us by refunding our money. But we still didn’t get to see a game that night, due to the poor things on StubHubs hands. For this reason I do not recommend purchasing through StubHub I recommend Ticketmaster instead.

Literally the worst experience I have ever had in my life buying tickets. They give you 0 confidence in the fact you will get your tickets until the day of and I really feel like that’s something you should know before buying. Also when asking customer service what happens if you don’t get the tickets you bought they will tell you they will try to get you into the event with similar tickets but if you don’t want that they will give you your money back. I wanted to cancel my ticket and use another company that gave me more peace of mind that I would get the tickets I wanted they informed me that I couldn’t cancel my order but could sell the tickets that I didn’t even have to someone else and would have to transfer them the tickets when/if I got the. IF ZERO STARS WAS AN OPTION I WOULD HAVE CHOSE IT.

Option to transfer only a portion of purchased tickets (to my friends) has been removed. Now you can only transfer ALL of the tickets in an order at once. It worked fine last MLB and NFL seasons last year; but now that functionality is gone. As less and less venues accept .pdf hard copy printed tickets, congratulations on making things even more difficult.

Purchase tickets to a show in February the show was postponed. I called for refund or exchange they told me no. I ordered the tickets according to my work schedule, who knows when the next show will be available. It’s almost June that’s 4 months, like people can just waste money like that in a poor economy Better Business Bureau should be notified of this rip off

I bought a ticket last minute. I received an email, but when I went to get the ticket I could not access it. There is no contact phone number in the email nor on the website or app. I tried for 30 minutes, the ticket sales Person at the theater tried to help It should not be this difficult to to access your ticket you just bought?? I had to make a last minute decision and buy another ticket at the ticket booth as the play had already started!! When I finally found a chat service later to to get a refund , the chat person said the seller fulfilled the order and that I should have called to get help. No refund. Seriously!!? With what phone number ??? I had to seriously search for it for 15 minutes! Such a SCAM and very poor customer service.

Stubhub sold me tickets that clearly had an obstructed view, but after discussing with the agent, he said they were not required to list obstructions unless the facility listed them as obstructions. He saw the pictures I sent and agreed the view was bad. I would have thought ticket owners, in this case, STH, would at least be contacted to discuss the issue. He said they don’t do that. Now moving to Vivid resellers to see if they are any improvement over Stubhub as they now have endorsements from Mike Golic.

I used the app for the first time and was never sent any email in regards to printing the tickets or gaining access to the tickets. So I had no way of knowing they needed to be printed beforehand. As a result we ended up missing an hour of the event. When I asked for any compensation from StubHub they refused, stating they sent the email needed even though I have no proof they ever sent it. One supervisor went as far as to call me unbelievable. As someone who has worked in customer relations for years I have never said that to anyone, nor have I ever been called that before. Two out of the three service reps I spoke with were completely rude. Beware, spend your money elsewhere.

The company doesn't own any of the tickets, it's owned by Ebay. I've been sent the wrong tickets and they would not refund my purchase, they told me I would have to resell them on their site of course. I will never buy anything from this company or Ebay again, app for both companies deleted. A friend of mine works at eBay and employees are told to leave good app reviews, scam!

App is great, map is the best amongst any of the ticket sales apps by a lot. Wish I could set certain default preferences with my login. Specifically showing prices with fees included, sort tickets by price, and selecting a specific section or zone to display for a favorite venue. Define by venue should let you search for the venue rather than display a huge list based on location. Otherwise, great app.

Took me 1 hour to unsuccessfully change expiration date with the ap, my phone, and web site. Eventually had to call customer service (the number of which is not anywhere on the website). Service rep was very helpful but i am tired of this service many glitches and problems. Should have better service for the fees they charge

I love what stub hub has done in the past. They were much more transparent and reasonable with their prices. Things have clearly changed over the last year or so and I will be looking for a company that isn’t trying to pillage it’s users. I’m shopping for shark playoff tickets for game 7 right now. A pair of tickets that cost about 200 a piece, stub hub is trying to take an additional $75 per ticket!!!! What the actual $&@$? So instead of being about $400, the price would be over $550. $150 commission for two tickets to go to an already expensive game? I did not purchase any tickets to tomorrow nights game 7 from stub hub for my dad and I based on the principle of the matter. How can stub hub justify that commission??? That doesn’t take into consideration the fee, whatever that is, that they are charging the seller. Talk about double dipping and up charging for a simple but cool service, no thanks! I’ve used stub hub for years. Looking for something else that’s not trying to pillage and rip off it’s long time users, not to mention anyone joining now that doesn’t know better. Very disappointing and I truest hope they provide their great service at a much more reasonable price. Very disappointed with this most recent experience.

I downloaded this app only out of necessity. It adds a surcharge to tickets worthy of Ticketmaster but with half the connivence. I don’t need to be bombarded with ads for shows and events I’m not interested in. All I wanted was my tickets but they can’t be added to Wallet like with other services. I’d advise any venue using this service to reconsider and go with eventbright or brown paper bag tickets. They let you print from home.

Took a risk to buy tickets to a tennis match a few hours before the schedule was announced in hopes to see my favourite player Federer. Got lucky and he was slotted for when my tickets were for. Stubhub then decided to cancel my tickets and give me a refund. Does it have anything to do with the fact that those tickets were now worth 5x as much since Federer was playing? What a shill of a company. Never again. Their “Guarantee” is meaningless and they didn’t try to find me similar tickets at all - said the others are too expensive now. Shocker. Hope someone with more money brings a class action suit against these scammers.

I was trying to resell two tickets on this app and it would not let me upload the two tickets together or individually. It would only let me upload one ticket and then said that there was an error when I uploaded the second ticket as an individual sale(because it would not give me the option to upload two tickets at a time). There are so many fees when the ticket is listed that you have to up the price to get the amount back you want. The customer service email does not work and there was a wait over the phone. The only way to get a hold of customer service with this company is by their live chat. I’m not sure what the issue even was because customer service was not even helpful with providing solutions or answers.

I don’t know how or why people don’t mind paying these types of fees. A 10% fee is realistic, but paying $30 in fees for tickets that total $100 is just outrageous. Companies like this & Ticketmaster are the reason I rarely go to concerts or events anymore. My complaint with this app is that it should show the complete total price of the ticket upfront not after during checkout.

I purchased tickets to a Miami Heat game and I’ve used StubHub in the past for concerts and ice shows. It’s such a well known brand, you would think they are very accommodating and reliable when you spend hundreds of dollars on their application or website. You would be mistaken. I made an order and realized on the confirmation email that the tickets would not be delivered until two days prior to the event. Typically when you put the option of online delivery, you receive the e-mail with the tickets. Simple process and you have obtained already what you’ve purchased. That wasn’t the case here. I would have to wait from January all the way to April to receive my tickets, 48 hours before the game I’m attending. I called on the same day that I purchased to tickets to request a refund and the online service agent told me the “date of the delivery” was shown three times prior to confirming the purchase, and therefore they could not give me a refund. If this was months later after the purchase was made, I would understand. But I was able to notice it within minutes of the confirmation e-mail. I called my credit card company and once the charge is confirmed (it’s still pending), then I’ll have to go through the hassle to dispute it. What a hassle and a scam. You’ve been warned.

On-the-go usability of this app is infuriating. Customer service amounts to, "Awww, I'm so sorry to hear that you don't like being screwed out of your hard earned money but we would be happy to do nothing about it." When the app fails to tell you that it needs to be updated and instead just says that your email and password don't match (despite resetting the password), you'll end up having to get on a mobile browser. The mobile browser experience is also awful. A new tab opens at every press and when the new tab opens you will be right where you were on the last tab. If you do finally make a purchase and realize instantly that you've just purchased the wrong seats because your fingers are too big and the words on the screen too small, so sorry; you are SOL. If you are trying to set up a way to receive money from selling your tickets, you will have to get on the browser too as you cannot use a card already saved to the app and this information cannot be added on the app. I hope you have PayPal. If not, you will need a check to enter your account and routing numbers. (I always carry a check with me.) I sincerely hope I have convinced you not to install this app. If not, good luck.

I will never use StubHub again! I purchased 4 tickets for a Cubs game. I was concerned about the seats right away, and had multiple conversations over several weeks with them about my concerns. I was assured the seats were together (even despite there being a listing from another sale, in the same section, with seats between mine!) I eventually relisted the seats, using the "realist tickets" option on the StubHub website, and purchased other tickets elsewhere for peace of mind. The week of the event I was notified that I listed my seats incorrectly. I was told I would have to delete my Listing, and list my tickets as sets if two, and I would need to enter the ticket SKUs. I explained that I purchased 4 tickets, together, and it seemed shady I couldnt sell them together as a set of 4. I did delete my listing, and entered all the SKUs (despite being a resale), and relisted my tickets. I was then notified the DAY OF THE GAME, as I was on my way to the game, that StubHub had deactivated my listing. They stated I needed to re-enter everything again. I explained that is not an option, since I was currently traveling. Needless to say, I did not end up selling my tickets. StubHub is a complete joke.

I purchased Blake Shelton tickets for tonight's concert and still haven't gotten my tickets. The sellers received my money and were suppose to download the tickets yesterday. I have called StubHub for the last two days and now the best they are offering is to stand up or a refund bc the only available seats left cost more than the tickets I paid for. It's not my fault..I wanted the tickets I paid for. They need to charge the seller for the cost of upgrading my tickets. I for one can't stand and my daughter's present is ruined if they don't make this right. We are suppose to leave in an hour and I still don't have tickets and I'm out a few hundreds of dollars. And one soon to be disappointed daughter when she finds out we dont have the tickets. This was a gift for her and also something she's looking forward to after taking her SAT test all morning. Way to go StubHub for not caring about your customers who have no control over what available tickets are left a few hours before the event. Guess you rather have empty seats than to make this right. TicketMaster will be my go to from now on. This was suppose to be a fun mother/daughter night.

I am not inclined to write reviews but have been very disappointed with Stub Hub. The major issue is with updating prices in the app. When I type in an updated price it does not update my new price after I save it. It does work when I use the bar to adjust the price but when I want to go above their suggested range the bar selection is not useful. Use a Desktop to manage your prices. I’d also find it useful to have a countdown to event time- when i have unused tickets it would be helpful to get a notification so I can drop the price more dramatically to get a sale. It is also good to know that when an event’s official start time begins the listing is removed. Is this necessary? Sometimes people will pay to see part of an event. The final issue is that reposting the same tickets you need to be careful- they will not allow you to do this without a “review process” which takes an unspecified amount of time. This happened when I had 4 tickets listed and wished to give one away, reposted the remaining 3 tickets within 24 hours of game time. Don’t do it. That being said I like stub hub overall- just beware of its limitations.

This is my first experience with using your app to try and resale tickets that I am stuck with. I am not happy with how your company is taxing me and the buyer for every purchase. Y’all get us at buy and at the sale. That’s called double dipping and frankly it’s just not good business. I have very little faith that by using your app I will resale these tickets I got stuck with. I feel that your sliding scale is in place so your company can sale your tickets first and not give your clients a fair opportunity to sell there’s. I don’t like how your company puts a best deal sliding scale on each ticket being sold directing the potential buyer to avoid a purchase. I can go on and on. I think you need to hire me to come in a re organize this much needed money pit you call a company. I’m on the outside looking in and from what my experience has been and from what I see i can tell you that I will never purchase another ticket from this company again. Oh and one more thing. I was trying to buy concert tickets from stubhub. The first time for some reason under my own account my debit wasent able to go through when it has no problems or information wrong. The next day tryed to buy the tickets with my credit card, 4 times putting the cards information and personal information in (each separate time) they denied my credit card. Calling customer service, then to have the employee UNLOCK my card that had no problems to then see if, for the 5th time, purchasing the concert tickets. He apologized for my experience and then said he would transfer me over to the buying department to make sure I was able to get the tickets. My call was then dropped from Stubhub somehow getting transferred. Calling back Customer service again as I tryed to purchase the tickets. I was then finally able to buy the tickets the 6 time entering my information, with no help from the customer service employee. Very disappointed in my experience as I have used Stub Hub before with no problems. Very unprofessional and hassling this whole process was.

Back in August, I was looking for ticket sell applications for a concert that was taking place at the end of October, and I ran into StubHub. With lots of reviews and a great rating, I didn’t think twice and started the order. Everything worked perfect, got two tickets for a good price....well, it was still very high, but Ticketmaster would sell exactly the same seating position twice as expensive, so I was very happy I closed the deal. Then I started reading reviews from customers and was shocked at how many bad reviews there were, so I started freaking out, thinking what if I don’t get the tickets, what if they are doubles, what if they aren’t legit and will not scan. So I lived with this anxiety those 2 months until the concert took place. Happily, everything went great, we had a great time at the concert and I would certainly buy tickets from StubHub again in the future.

I got a very bad experience. I bought a ticket for me and my friends for this concert. We were so excited. Don't get me wrong we got a good deal and a good buy. It never come to my mind cause it look like legitimate and with their assurance thing. I told my other friends to buy it here cause it was a nice deal. But...... good thing we went there early cause we found out that our ticket was a fraud. It was one of the embarrassing moment in my life. We were escorted to the front desk. They took our ticket. People look at us like a theft. I called their hotline but no answer. I used their 24/7 online chat but after waiting and waiting.. they disconnected me. I was so embarrassed to my friends and to the people that i told them about it. I end up buying the expensive ticket and my friends ticket.... So lesson learned.... be very careful. After complaining since jan 1. I got my refund just right now after two calls and ofcourse another waiting game. One star for the refund. Hopefully this will help you. Dont get fool about their assurance that it is legit... call the office or call the company...

I bought tickets for the monster jam of your app and I agreed to buy 3 tickets for my wife, son and I . I had put 3 tickets but it only purchased one. I screenshot the picture showing that i purchased 3 . Check my email and said I only got one ticket? So I called stub hub customer service to see why i only got one ticket. When I got a hold of them they hanged me up. So I called again and they hanged me up again . On the 4th time they finally didn’t hang me up. I started to tell them why are you hanging me up and why do I only have one ticket when I agreed to buy 3 on your app? So I had to purchase the other 2 tickets through the phone .not only that it doesn’t say if kid go in free at a certain age. My son is 1 and 9months and just found out he could go in for free. So I just got frustrated and mad and paid for a ticket i didn’t have to get because you guys lacked the information in how old kids have to be to go in for free. When I went to purchase tickets, I was terrified of all the bad reviews so instead of blindly buying them online, I called them and told the automated messenger that I wanted to buy tickets. I was on hold for about 20 minutes and Fred picked up. I explained to him my worries and all the bad reviews and he explained to me how the company works and that he could help me purchase the tickets over the phone instead of online. I purchased them, the order went through. I got the tickets in my email the minute after the order went through. I had no problems getting the tickets and the price they told me was the price that came off of my account. No scams. If you’re worried about getting scammed by this company, but their tickets online!!! They are officially Ticketmaster tickets that I received. Fred was wonderful over the phone.

I was so excited that I could buy a ticket to see Hamilton the next night while visiting Cleveland. When I got to the theater, I was shocked that the show had already started. After the show, I checked and Stub hub had given me the wrong time for the show in at least three different places (email, text, etc. ) Three people next to me arrived late too! Although Stub Hub claims to “guarantee” their tickets “100%”, it was really hard to find a telephone number to call them about this problem. I spent hours on the phone and was offered a lot of apologies and a credit for the fees that I had paid to be used on my next order. After a lot of back and forth and asking to speak to this manager and that manager, they agreed to give me a cash refund for half of the ticket price. I’m not sure if they really did or not. It was so annoying that It took hours of work to get a partial refund. They should have offered it right away or agreed to give me a credit so I could see the part that I missed! I would not use this service again!

Bought some tickets by mistake (my bad there). Of course, no refunds. Stubhub will happily collect $70 in fees on the $200 tickets. So, only recourse is to sell them at a similar price. Relist the tickets at $200, another $15 in fees on each ticket. Enjoy the money, you ridiculous bozos! Thanks for literally nothing! Whoops, just kidding, the tickets can’t be relisted from the app or their website either! Guess I’m stuck with em. The customer service is friendly. They attempted to relist the tickets for me, but also encounter an error with no explanation. Now the issue has to be escalated because *news flash* the app isn’t capable of doing half of the things it’s supposed to do. What a grand old time I’m having. Hopefully, pending the actual sale of said tickets, I will only have paid $100 for nothing instead of $270 for nothing. Overall, would not recommend unless you own significant stock in this company.

I wanted to buy tickets for a Los Angeles Dodgers game the day before to avoid buying them at the stadium as I usually do. Redownloaded their app to buy the tickets, after finding them, had to update my new address and card info, but the tickets were for the wrong date. There is no any to stop the transaction. Called the immediately, even though it is difficult to find their phone number on their app. Talked with their rep about what had just occurred, and was informed that there is nothing I could do about date. I explained to them about the error date, keep in mind that the game had already started and I live two hours away, even though I did attempt to stop the transaction, once checked out they will not do anything about the situation other than offer to resale them for less than half for what I bought them, remember game had already started, who was really going to buy tickets after an event starts and make to see it. Won't be using them and don't recommend anyone to them.

After purchasing tickets less then a week before the Friday NYC Comic Con, They were sent next day delivery but were not delivered, tracking showed they were still out for delivery. Stub Hub’s Customer service rep felt my discouragement and went above and beyond to make it right for me. It was too late to issue me tickets on that Friday because i work all week and didn’t realized i actually never got them until the day of the event, my friends were already gone. I mentioned that my friends were going again on Saturday and so they issued me tickets for Saturday which turned out to be an even better day according to my friends who had an all week pass. I really appreciate you for trying to make it right, I had a great time to my first ever Comic Con.

I had misplaced physical tickets mailed to me from a HubStub app purchase, traveling out of state to Lakers game. I called customer service, was told that they couldn't do anything to replace tickets but could try to show Staples Center ticket office my HubStub receipt from my app for reprints. At Staples office, I was told that my seats were actually resold on the Lakers ticket exchange and I wouldn't have been allowed entry even if I had the physical tickets, as they were scanned already. So I purchased tickets I couldn't use from the HubStub app. I called back HubStub customer service, and instead of investigating the seller who sold me tickets, the rep kept questioning me on my story and intimated that I was lying or trying to get money back. This is ridiculous, being turned down at the game with 5 people in my party, after driving 7 hours and paying over $620. StubHub not investigating the seller is maddening. I will never use StubHub again and I would recommend anyone who is reading this to get tickets using another method.

Imagine you are excited to go to the game, see that concert or show. You research and pull the trigger. Now they send you a ticket, you are not sure if it walk work but you are hopeful, you get to the venue and... nope. It doesn’t work. The guy taking the tickets just wants you to get out of the way, sorry. Cant come in. Ticket office wont help, and now you realize not only dod you look se your money but you ruined an event you looked forward to for a longtime. There is no sympathy and absolutely no support. Maybe it was your lack of the coding or high tech knowledge, maybe you are a victim of fraud. One thing for sure, they do not care and you ate on your own. Maybe it works for you, this time. But know you will not have any support if it doesn’t. Very sad.

StubHub has pretty much the worst customer service on the face of the planet. They’ll try to make themselves look good on social media and then show you who they really are on phone calls and private messages. They sent me an email saying a buyer needed a refund because the venue wouldn’t let them in because Ticketmaster refunded my tickets. I sent them back an email telling them the buyer wasn’t being truthful about the Ticketmaster refund, and I could provide bank statements to prove it. They never responded. Then two nights ago I contacted them because I was having trouble logging into my account. They then let me know my account had been passed to a collections agency. They had 0 right to do this considering they never gave me notice and never responded to my last email. I am appalled and furious. You don’t just mess with people’s credit. People need credit in very important areas of their lives. I will NEVER use StubHub again and deleted the app from my phone.

Stubhub is run by scammers. Ive tried to sell and buy tickets here, and each time, they stole from me and failed to do their job. When i tried to sell tickets, they either claim no one bought them and sold them (thereby stealing my ticket) or they sell them after i take the ticket down/use them myself and slap me a penalty fee for doing so. This company is super dishonest and their customer service, though responsive, is like a robot and doesnt understand that their business is unfair to the customers. When i tried buying tickets, they sold me ones that got me into the arena, but other people with the “same”tickets were sitting at my seat. And when i complained, they did nothing because they said the tickets they sold me were real. This company is built on bull$hit, lies and deceit. There is more trust in buying/selling tickets offline or other websites/apps. Stubhub is like the communist dictator that history hates and curses upon. So be warned, stubhub steals!!!

OMG.... wth is going ON?! This thing is AWFUL!! Tried to change price on tickets I had listed, wouldn’t let me. Tried to deactivate, which it DID let me, then reactivate, which it WOULDN’T let me. Tried and tried and tried. Uninstalled the app and re-installed it (after “re-booting” my phone). No help. Tried to do a new listing. Wouldn’t let me. Gave up for the day. Tried the next day. No luck. Went to the website. Same freaking issues. Tried to find a work-around by posting a “similar” sale, and changed the seats... which it allowed. But then I was going to delete the old posting (which it also allowed), and then update the seat numbers to the correct numbers on the new posting, but it had deleted THAT posting, too. What...the....Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll?!?!?!?! Went into the menu and got “sell tickets” and it’s just circling for-EVAH. Guess what? I will be selling my Pearl Jam/Fenway tix through another venue. Stub Hub - you snooze, you LOOSE. Get your crap together! Honesty.

This was my First time on stubhub to sell a Harry Potter broadway ticket when my trip got cancelled. I bought the ticket for $500 on stubhub a couple of weeks prior. I couldn’t get the app to list my tickets so after searching for quite a while for a phone number on the site, I called to get help. I spoke with a nice young woman and she said she got the necessary permission to sell. No luck, so I called again the next day, and was assured that this time it would work. Still no luck. Called a third time and was on hold for over an hour and Dean was going to call me back; never did. Finally, the day before the show I reached James who figured out that someone had locked it up on one of the prior calls and he fixed it. Finally! 45 minutes later the listing expired. This is a ridiculous app to sell on, even their customer service reps couldn’t figure out how to make it happen. They would assume no responsibility for the problem. Don’t be tempted to buy on this site.

I accidentally purchased tickets to a concert at the wrong venue. Partially, this was due to the app crashing and me re-entering several times until the purchase. I didn’t realize it would default to a certain date/venue. So I didn’t notice, as the email confirming barely notes in small type the location. It’s a very busy looking email and they send tons of emails advertising. Weeks later, I go to the concert (I think I paid for) and it’s wrong day/venue and it’s past. So they take zero concern about this, after clearly seeing I purchased the correct venue (last min just before walking in). My fault is not catching the error, but they can clearly see I didn’t attend the earlier error event AND THEY DON’T CARE. So buyer beware, I won’t use them again (as they hide behind as middle man). Buy direct and avoid Stuhub. Don’t make the expensive mistake I made. And beware that their tickets look lower priced, but really aren't with all the fees.

The application is not user friendly and when you contact your customer support specialists they are not trained on how to navigate the application. I was trying to update my address which I found that you could not do that in the app by calling (this information should be provided on the app) and the agent was unable to help navigate me to confirm my address was updated. I develop applications for a living and to confirm my updated address I had to go to the help option, type what I needed, re-sign in with my credentials which I then needed to verify it was not fraud (why should I have to log into the app again when I was already signed in and was only using the search/help function), then when it took me to my profile I had to search several tabs before seeing my address. Several opportunities for your company to enhance within this reply. I hope the right people get this information and make a change.

I wish I could give this review negative stars for how terrible an experience I've had with StubHub. I purchased last minute tickets to an event the day it took place. I was told that I would be contacted by an "associate" to arrange for the deliver of my tickets and thought nothing of it. 3 hours before the event started I had not been contacted by anyone regarding the tickets and began to get worried so I called customer service. I was told that I would be given a call back within the next 30 minutes with an update. An hour goes by with nothing so I call customer service again and am given the same response. Needless to say I never received my tickets. Having not received the tickets I assumed I would receive a refund given their "money back guarantee" but I was sadly mistaken. This event happened nearly a month ago and I've called customer service numerous times and have been told that I would be contacted shortly but have never been called or emailed back. They've basically stolen $300 from me. I was not once called to arrange a pick up of my tickets nor given an update throughout this entire process. If anyone reads this review please take my advice and choose a different ticket supplier. While many others have used Stubhub and received amazing deals on tickets, if you're unfortunate to not receive your tickets you will NOT be refunded your money!

Reality is, you may not like paying fees but EVERY SERVICE charges for their service. It’s how people in the SERVICE industry make money. Please remember, you're not just purchasing tickets, you’re paying for a service - a WORLD CLASS experience compared to all the other ticket service vendors I’ve tried. The Stub Hub experience always seems to be superior and for me, the ability to transact with ApplePay is fantastic. A PayPal addition WOULD be nice (it may already exist, just not prominently), but the seamless nature of Mobile searching, ticket sorting and checkout, combined with producing proof of purchase on my phone at most venues is an excellent experience. (Sometimes printout is required - contingent upon the venue.)

I’m not sure why some are saying customer service is bad, but my experience with Stubhub Customer service was phenomenal. I lost my ticket the day before my concert and obviously it’s my fault. I contacted Stubhub twice by chat, and they were very very kind to me and tried to contact the seller to help me. Then, the day of the show, I received a phone call saying they called the concert hall. I would just give my name and they would give me another ticked to attend the show(Dear Evan Hansen). I was really sad the whole day thinking I couldn’t watch the show and Stubhub helped me a lot and I was so happy. Even though, it was my fault to lose my tickets. 11/10. I would recommend Stubhub.

I love using Stub Hub for all my entertainment! They are quick and reliable source for event tickets/seating. I have tried Zigabid and let me tell you... DON’T USE THEM. They had all sorts of trouble with their website. Their response time was lousy, I finally gave up (after repeated request for help via email - no one responded in a timely manner) I finally had asked for credit card refund because I no longer trust nor have faith in their website. Someone did call back trying to save the sales and gave a poor excuse “I didn’t have my cell phone with me at the time.” In this day and age everything is automated and recorded in “real time”. Should not have kept the consumer wait.

If your selling tickets on this site or any site, your trying at least to recoup what you paid for those tickets. Yes in many cases you try for more, but generally your just trying to regain your cost. As time expires and the game is near you start to lower your price again to get close to what you paid. Stubhub abandons all the sellers here because why? They want to sell tickets, they want to recoup their fees to sell these tickets. They really don’t want these tickets priced at cost they want the tickets to sell below the cost to push the market to buy. They don’t send you ideas about selling them at cost they send you emails that tell you your tickets are priced too high. And they allow sellers to price their tickets well below their cost which drives our price down. There has to be some minimum ticket prices that are set for whatever your selling. Then at least the seller can try to recoup their costs.

I had listed physical tickets to an event and 3 days before the event, I got an email at 1am that said my tickets sold and to send by the end of the day. I’m at home with my first born 6 day old son so I don’t exactly have a lot of time to mail the tickets. Anyways, I drop it off at a UPS kiosk at 8pm. Because it wasn’t sent out at the end of the day, but the next day, I was charged $30 which was 40% of the sale price. I’m not upset about not getting paid out, if the buyer didn’t get in time, I don’t deserve the sale; I’m upset that I still was charged for doing my best with the situation that was dealt to me. When I called stubhub, they said that this is a pretty unique situation and you rarely get less than 24 hours to complete a sale. I guess I’m just unlucky. If only the customer service folks had a heart and instead of trying to make a buck at everyone’s expense. I’m done with them.
Beyond Confusing and Convoluted

Stub hub has made the ticket but process beyond confusing and convoluted. When you buy your tickets there is a chance you could be buy mobile only tickets and it won’t say this anywhere in the purchasing process!! When I talked to one customer service agent she gave me the wrong directions and I downloaded and fought with the stub hub app for hours for no reason. After transferring the tickets to my account, I was NEVER able to view them via the stub hub website or app. I was finally able to get ahold of a customer service agent that was kind enough to email actual direction then I had to download the app to the event venue before I was ever able to get my tickets which was only 3 hours before the event started after driving 3 hours to get to said event. Stub hub has made these entire experience much more stressful and I will NEVER NEVER buy tickets to ANYTHING from stub hub again!!!

It doesn’t seem like whoever makes the application for StubHub is really all that good at it. They appear to have broken the Wallet section again. There is no way to stick the tickets into your Wallet now. I suspect that StubHub may no longer want you to be able to do that. That way you can send your tickets to your friends and they don’t know anything about it. They want you to send the tickets within their own application, so they can collect the information for marketing purposes. Makes me angry. Update: Response to developer. No, in this case, major-league baseball tickets, they have been available for use with Wallet for several years now. In fact I have one currently in my wallet that came from The previous version of StubHub. This is not the first time your app developers have broken the Wallet application with StubHub or, failed to keep up with the operating system versions from Apple. Update: April 2019. Added a star as the wallet functionality is working again. I would have added another but I’m now seeing pop up ads while I’m browsing. Incredibly annoying and demonstrates the greed of stubhub. Seriously, a 26% markup fee on each ticket?

I bought a ticket to Emerald City Comic Con Friday general admission at over double face value. When I received my ticket in the mail it was a kid’s all-week pass. Thinking this was a simple mistake I called customer service and was told that there was a comment by the seller that it was a child’s ticket. I told them I saw no comment when I bought the ticket. Also there is no such thing as a Friday kid’s ticket. The only Friday ticket was a general admittance ticket. The only children’s ticket was an all-week pass (with a face value 40% of a Friday GA ticket). Also the order confirmation email didn’t mention anything about a kid’s ticket. Customer service told me this was my fault. I should have read the special comments and the seller had provided a way in for a child on Friday which according to them is what I ordered. I asked about their guaranteed entry policy and they said that it doesn’t apply to this. They said I can’t resell the ticket as the event was so close and they suggested I sell it to a friend or family member. I never raised my voice and remained calm, but I was told that as we are not getting any closer to coming to an understanding he (the call center manager) was going to be forced to disconnect the call. I’ve never been treated like that by any customer service. Unapologetic amd treating me like I’m trying to scam them.

We bought tickets to a ball game through stub hub and it said we would get our tickets through this app. So bit my and I loaded the app and tried to run it. It got set up and before it could get to showing us anything related to our account it crashed. Now it won’t even get past the splash screen. Really? If there is a network problem the app can’t handle, it should catch it and present and error screen, not just stop. Maybe this was acceptable when smart phones first came out but now it is unacceptable. I sure hope the app works when we need the tickets for the game, which thankfully isn’t for a few weeks.

Bought tickets and was guaranteed by Stub Hub that they would be delivered. The app itself shows I have tickets but if I try and view tickets it just says something went wrong so I have no way of actually gettin into the event. It’s a scam of actually receiving tickets you buy. Customer service keeps “ contacting the seller” or so they say and then tells me that the seller has transferred the tickets, but the venue, Ticketmaster have no record of the tickets. I don’t believe stub hub actually verifies the tickets they sell are real and the buyer is just taking a huge financial risk by purchasing fake tickets and then stub hub won’t back the guaranteed refund policy they advertise. Their only response was “ check your spam folders for delivery”. It’s like they believe people wouldn’t check those and when you tell them it’s been checked they will say they will look into and contact you back but then never do.

The App has a lot of great features. The ability to easily navigate stadium seating charts is high level. The interface is well designed and easy to use. I also love being able to see the field view from where your seats are. I should probably give this App 5 stars but 2 things drive me crazy. First I’m not able to see my gift card credit when I’m purchasing my tickets. Big miss! Secondly the App violates the cardinal sin of Apps. Don’t make me log in every time I use the App. It’s not really an App then, now is it? The reason for Apps in the first place is convenience. If I have to log in nearly every single time I might as well pull out my computer. That alone is worth deducting 2 stars. You could have won it all but these issues cost you a championship.

I had tickets listed on StubHub. Sold them. Gave extra tickets, hard copy and PDF. Customer service tried to contact me and 20 minutes later they overcharged me over $300 to replace tickets that were already good tickets . I responded in less than one hour to their attempt to contact me. But they had already spent three hundred extra dollars of my money. They gave my buyer seats in a different section when my seats were front row seats. I could have resolved the scenario in less than an hour by the way. And when they charged me that extra $300. They didn't say what it was for. So I had to contact them over 2 hours to try and get a resolution. I did not talk to a manager the same day. Then they tried to call me back and left a voicemail. And claimed the issue is resolved. Because they're too cowardly to actually talk to a person who has a valid claim. Also, they cancel/close sales days before the event if hard-printed Tix, and time of start for PDF. People still looking to buy Tix at discount during event. Who does that harm? Why can't they allow people to leave hard Tix at will-call? Easy to verify with Video or acknowledgment from event management. There's no way I can recover my $300 from them, or appeal my claim. I'll guarantee you this; they'll always get theirs!!

Attempted to purchase tickets via the Stub Hub app as I have done numerous times. The tickets did not show up in the app and the confirmation email was not delivered right after purchase. After giving it some time and the tickets still not delivered, I went back into the app and ordered tickets, thinking the initial purchase didn’t go through. After the second purchase the tickets appeared and a confirmation email was received. Approximately 30 minutes later, I received a second confirmation email for the first order. We immediately contacted Stub Hub and was told they have had issues with this and have since made upgrades to the app to avoid this situation. They refused to credit my account and stated the best they could do would be to re-list the tickets. I can’t imagine the money this greedy company makes just off type of issue. Never again!!

I have had problems in past events in which someone was suppose to send me an email with ticket transfers and they never did so I ended up being screwed the day of event ... only purchase if you know you’ll have time and internet access to go tru excess bs that goes into retrieving a ticket .... look to make sure it’s gonna be instantly delivery or ready on your phone application. They never refunded me but rather gave me a voucher... which was aggravating . Be careful ! Besides that, it’s okay website except their EXTREMELY high fee$79 dollars so end up being same price as Ticket master and Ticket master has better customer service. I would only use this app if all my other options have exhausted.

Zero Stars! Crap rating system won't let you give 0 stars. Bought tickets less than 48hrs before event. Said tickets were available for download and print. Bought tickets, then app said seller had until the next day to make the tickets printable!!!! That's less than 24 hours before the event. I was supposed to leave for my weekend plans but now I can't because this awful app will let people sell you tickets they don't even have. Tried live chat and after voicing my problem was promptly disconnected. Guaranteed in time for event means before the event...apparently up to 1 second before. They don't have to give you time to make it to the event....nice guarantee. It's like permission to steal from you. Use one of the other 30 ticket apps as stub hub doesn't give a crap about you or your plans or selling actual tickets that are available to print when you buy them.

Sold tickets to a sold out show last minute. Then one week later buyer claims they were invalid. Tickets were bought directly from the venue, never had any issues with tickets from there before. Received an email from StubHub saying I had 2 days to respond with a scan report. Called the venue and asked for a scan report. Told the manager would call me back which he never did. Called StubHub during business hours, left a message, no one called me back. Sent Stubhub a copy of my receipt for the tickets. Two days later StubHub charged me for the ticket price plus $70. Beware, if you sell your digital tickets and the buyer can’t open the tickets on their phone for some reason or finds a better deal somewhere else or decides not to go they can claim the tickets are invalid and StubHub will charge you. I’m out $200 now, lesson learned, total scam, never again...

I love what stub hub has done in the past. They were much more transparent and reasonable with their prices. Things have clearly changed over the last year or so and I will be looking for a company that isn’t trying to pillage it’s users. I’m shopping for shark playoff tickets for game 7 right now. A pair of tickets that cost about 200 a piece, stub hub is trying to take an additional $75 per ticket!!!! What the actual $&@$? So instead of being about $400, the price would be over $550. $150 commission for two tickets to go to an already expensive game? I did not purchase any tickets to tomorrow nights game 7 from stub hub for my dad and I based on the principle of the matter. How can stub hub justify that commission??? That doesn’t take into consideration the fee, whatever that is, that they are charging the seller. Talk about double dipping and up charging for a simple but cool service, no thanks! I’ve used stub hub for years. Looking for something else that’s not trying to pillage and rip off it’s long time users, not to mention anyone joining now that doesn’t know better. Very disappointing and I truest hope they provide their great service at a much more reasonable price. Very disappointed with this most recent experience.

I was viewing tickets yesterday. I clicked on them and saw a PayPal email that is not my PayPal email address but the email address of the account that I had the last tickets I purchased emailed to. I have NO ASSOCIATED PayPal Account with that email. I clicked on the PayPal email address, hoping to understand why it was listed as my PayPal account. This triggered a purchase with no notice to me at all!!!! No screen saying I had purchased them. This is due to an iPhone issue. If you have selected one- touch for log in, the tickets will purchase as “one-touch”. And with no notification to me other than through email. If it were not for the email, I would have had no idea I purchased these tickets. I now have a $740 charge on my PayPal. I am disputing this charge. My PayPal is not set up with one- touch. This is fraudulent.

Mostly use them to buy tickets, which I've never had an issue with. Once had an issue with the sellers listing being inaccurate and they refunded the purchase. Only complaints are on the app features- when you pull tickets up on your phone and say "see tickets", you either have to print them or email them - why can't you just display them? LiveNation has that feature, wish SH would add it. And the one time I tried to list tickets I had purchased on SH, I got a message that they weren't allowed to be sold- although the other 2 I purchased could be listed. With a few tweaks they could have a stellar app, but for now it's still a good one.

No complaints. I was a little disappointed that I needed to download the app to get my tickets, but once I got the app my life would never be the same. Signing in and having to travel to other apps, like Facebook, is seamless. The app asks you to optionally check your favorite artists that are in the area; I checked a few of my favorites. I then got a glimpse of all their upcoming dates near me. Then, the app uses a fantastic “suggested for you” algorithm to find other favorites. It managed to find a ton of my favorite music and comic acts that I didn’t even check as my favorites. And I got my tickets!
First time using stubhub, BAD

Almost every review is bad, how do they deserve a 4.8??? My very first review ever First time using this app... Bought upcoming tickets to a concert, spent time picking out just where I want to sit, not many seats left for this event ,purchased two tickets, got the confirmation and my card was charged Two days later, get an email from them The seats you had chosen aren’t available, but we’ve got you better ones... Uggg no you didn’t Tried logging into my account, it’s been frozen, called them on the phone, over a hour spent unfreezing my account. They didn’t want to refund my money until I reminded them they didn’t give me the seating I requested. Refund granted, all good, I get a email telling me how sorry they are for the mix up, that my refund has been approved and by the way, those tickets we offered you, they are still valid, go to the concert and have fun on us. Wow!!! However, this again was not true, when I tried to print them it would not let me , called them and again another excuse that they shouldn’t have sent me that message. So beware, they advertise tickets they don’t have, they are very hard to give you a refund, and they promise you things but don’t deliver .. Stay away
Any Chance to Lower Fees offer Discounts?

I get why you charge service fees, and I know there are minimums even if you go through your competitors. I’m sure yours are equal to or lower than your competitors as well. Is there a way where you could offer incentives (for example) if you purchase tickets for 3 separate events you get a service fee free ticket purchase buying tickets at listed value. I know this would overall lower revenue in some areas, but you have the usability down, I think it would increase repeat customers offsetting the service fee. Just a thought as I don’t know the dynamics of StubHubs business model.

I highly highly do not recommend using StubHub to buy any tickets for anything. We bought 4 tickets to a bucks game, and we had the printed receipt and tickets in hand. We arrived to the game, and someone had already used our 4 tickets!! The bucks stadium could not do anything for us, so we had to talk to Stub hub customer service in the ticket office of the stadium. They said this happens often, where the ticket seller oversells or sells the same tickets to multiple people. If this is such a problem then why don’t they fix it. The bucks did all they can do, and Stub hub customer service helped us by refunding our money. But we still didn’t get to see a game that night, due to the poor things on StubHubs hands. For this reason I do not recommend purchasing through StubHub I recommend Ticketmaster instead.

Literally the worst experience I have ever had in my life buying tickets. They give you 0 confidence in the fact you will get your tickets until the day of and I really feel like that’s something you should know before buying. Also when asking customer service what happens if you don’t get the tickets you bought they will tell you they will try to get you into the event with similar tickets but if you don’t want that they will give you your money back. I wanted to cancel my ticket and use another company that gave me more peace of mind that I would get the tickets I wanted they informed me that I couldn’t cancel my order but could sell the tickets that I didn’t even have to someone else and would have to transfer them the tickets when/if I got the. IF ZERO STARS WAS AN OPTION I WOULD HAVE CHOSE IT.
