It doesn’t allow you to change the language. I’m an American living in Ukraine, so to search for cars I’m forced to use Ukrainian which is impossible to understand every button, description, or guide. If I want to use English, it takes me to the UK, but I don’t need rides there. Imagine Ukrainians going to France. Oops, no Ukrainian unless you know French—just guess what each thing means. Even Uber or Bond Taxi allows English in Ukraine, and the drivers know about this, why not Bla Bla Car? Is it really that backwards thinking or is it just laziness to allow the options for multiple languages within a country? Unless you know someone who speaks the language of the country you’re in, this app is basically useless. That’s too bad because that’s a lot of lost profit for drivers and your company.

It’s really good idea but the app have so many issues. First of all that location doesn’t work properly, it put where the app want, than the price you need to fiz it 10 times to get your post whit price you want. When you want to change your details about ride, same you need more than 10 times to fix it. Please fix this problems

The app forces language and currency options based on your phone’s country settings. So if you have your phone settings in a different country to try to practice the language, it will force you to use the app in that language and use that country’s currency. As a user you don’t have the option to select your language and payment currency. This is so inflexible! Hope they fix it soon.

Language and currency situation

Developers, your users are travelers, please, take it into account. Even tho I travel in Mexico and ready to see price in pesos (I’d prefer in USD anyway), I do not speak Spanish. But there’s no any option to choose a language. I hadn’t even got an opportunity to enjoy your “allaboutdesign” app, because it’s obviously not all about users.

Uso o Bla BLA Car a mais de 2 anos , e sempre foi ótimo , o que venho percebendo é que estão crescendo sem planejamento, inserem passageiros no meio do caminho , MESMO VC RESSALTANDO QUE NÃO FAZ PARADAS , INSEREM DESVIOS ABSURDOS , que dizem ser 5 minutos e talvez quem não conhece o percurso seja induzido a erro pq o percurso é ZONA DE RISCO E OU ZONA DE MUITO TRÂNSITO, são 10km que se leva 1 hora para andar no RIO . Resumindo , tomem cuidado com essas sugestões do aplicativo , pq estão crescendo com péssima administração.

Depuis la mise à jour de l’application, il est désormais impossible de savoir combien de places sont encore disponibles dans une voiture lors d’un trajet. Non seulement ça ne permet pas de connaître l’urgence de la réservation mais on ne peut pas deviner non-plus si le conducteur met à disposition 2 ou 3 places derrières. Certains affichent l’option 2 places derrière mais d’autres non donc on est dans dans le doute.

I really enjoy using Blablacar had some great experiences. Unfortunately the app is not always smooth, it has delays or errors that don’t allow you to work with it as smoothly as you would want to.

You have to download the app in each country, sometimes each state or city. Annoying. A 12 year old in Silicon Valley with 48 hours of time could re-vamp this app. Not to mention how much more money could be made.

This app doesn’t let you change your language or region once you have made your account. I even tried making a new account and it wouldn’t work. Because my phone’s language is set to Spanish, it assumed I’m in Spain when I actually live in Slovakia. Therefore, it won’t show me any rides in Slovakia at all. The app also never gave me the chance to say where I live or to choose my language. VERY frustrating.

The app doesn’t function fluently. There are multiple glitches in the workflow that for some reason end up fine eventually but make the experience less than great. Receiving payment is not transparant at all.

I am an American traveler sitting with my friends in Ukraine and when I sign in, there are no rides on any common routes; when they sign in, there are tons of rides on the same routes and dates. They work in IT and we are all shocked that this international traveler app... isn’t international. The app gives false negatives and won’t show rides in other languages. Now I know why I couldn’t find rides for the past seven weeks! Total disaster. You can only get rides in your home countries. Otherwise .. good luck. Such a shame. We tested on multiple phones. Same results.

I don’t know what happened after the update. I uninstall and reinstall the app it still never give me any rides. Only shows on the website. The app becomes useless. But before the update it worked well. I used to use it every where. France, Spain, Russia. But now nothing works! Please fix it! Thanks!

I don’t write reviews often but I got to write about the bad experience I had with this app. A month ago in Romania, I got a chance to hear about this awesome service called BlaBlaCar from a cab driver. Me and my wife wanted to head to a city which was about a 100 miles away. I was new to that place and I was trying my best to avoid the train which takes a long time. I made a BlaBlaCar reservation from the station and luckily I found someone heading to the place. I was given the guy’s number to reach out to. I called that person to confirm the appointment and I requested him to pick me up at the station which was about 2 Kms from that place. He refused and I didn’t bother much about it. I took a cab to head to the pick up point. I paid double the price to head to the pickup point as the driver recognized that I am a tourist. I knew that he was charging me with a higher price but again I didn’t bother much. It was a long tiring day and we just wanted to head to the destination. We reached that place 30 minutes earlier, informed our rider (and he acknowledged ) and had lunch at a food truck in that same place. Our pickup was at 3:30 pm and I was expecting the guy to give me a call but he didn’t. When it became 3:35, I got a notification that the driver had cancelled. I tried calling him to see if it was an accident and the call went directly to voicemail. Now in an unknown city , we had to book a cab to go back to the station and find a train. Not only he cancelled but he made us come all the way from the station to the place that he wanted us to come. Thinking about it, the driver is not to be blamed. I would blame BlaBlaCar car for not providing a commitment service where both the driver and the riders are equally fined for not holding on to their commitments. I would not recommend this app to anyone.

Today I’ve installed this app and registered with email. I didn’t get email confirmation which I expected to get but anyway I tried to enter in with provided credentials. Nope. Wrong address or password. Surprise. I’ve entered just provided data. I tried to send myself a link for changing password. Nope. I didn’t get email with the link as well. So, there is no way to register with email

My driver canceled no me a few hours before my trip. Bla Bla makes the rider wait 7days for the driver to agree that they canceled. Feels like the driver has taken my money and I can’t do anything about it for a week. Not fair to the rider and let’s the driver scam riders traveling through on vacation since they will be long gone or out of country. Also I did try to book another driver. They had until 1:59pm to confirm a 4pm trip, but he never did accept the ride resulting in the app not allowing me to accept a ride from a third driver. Finally I just got a bus because it was my only option left. Could have missed connection. If you are traveling or not a local I would NEVER USE or TRUST THIS APP!!!

It would be great if the app ask for your language and your currency of choice! I live in France, speak English and use the Euro. I can choose France on the app and get Euros and French language or choose U.K., a place I’ve never been, and get English and pounds!

User cannot choose his language

As other reviewers have pointed out, this app sets the language according to the country chosen, making it effectively useless for many of us. I understand from developer responses to other reviews that they are working on this problem. There’s a feature for ID verification; my verifications failed repeatedly but no information as to why, or what to do was forthcoming. Following my initial posting of this review, the developer kindly contacted me to ask for further details. To me this indicates a good developer so I improved my rating. Furthermore, they are releasing new versions frequently.

I’m abroad and would need a car on my way back home. I’ve been using blabla and other carpool apps for years now, but this app does not work from my phone when it’s really important. Contantly crashes, I can not check the profile of the person I booked a ride with, also it doesn’t show the messages. Just downloaded the upgrade and nothing changed.

I would love to use this app, but unfortunately it seems impossible to change the language setting. I downloaded it while in Belgium and it will only use French. My French is seriously lacking so I don't feel comfortable using the app. I followed the developer's suggestion to another reviewer and checked that my phone settings are correct, but it makes no difference. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app while here in the US, but, nope, still in French. Why is this simple issue not corrected by now? Other apps let you choose language and currency.

O app é muito bom, uso sempre. Mas precisa melhorar em dois aspectos. Primeiro, deveria ter uma opção de reclamação do motorista via app, como o uber tem por exemplo. Segundo, quando o motorista percebe que desagradou em alguma coisa ele pode recusar a avaliação do passageiro e simplesmente não fazer e assim não aparecerá no perfil dele uma nota baixa. É um jeito de burlar e muito fácil. Assim muitos passageiros podem não ter o perfil adequado do motorista. Precisam melhorar nisso.

The first time I tried to use BlaBlaCar I was in Hungary. So ever since then I have been receiving emails in Hungarian. My language settings have always been in English, but I still get emails in Hungarian. So I have to copy and paste the emails into google translate, but since a lot of the words are abbreviated (I.e. various names of months), I can’t always figure out what the email says. There’s also no way to contact them about this, and I have tried for 2 years to get through their FAQ page to write them a message to fix this, with no luck. Please fix this, it’s incredibly annoying. I also noticed im not the only person to have this problem.

I previously created an account online which has the option of choosing USA. Now I try to download the iPhone app and it doesn’t have the USA options. When I try UK. Good idea for the service, but needs major improvements in user experience. Passengers can cancel booking at any time without any feedback to their rating. Drivers don’t know how reliable are passengers and can’t filter out them.

If I want English I have to change region to UK and have the currency in British pounds....this is pretty ridiculous that I can't change to the language I want (English) and to have the currency I want (Euros). I don't want to pay conversion fees to British pounds just to have it in English. Also the recommendation is to use the browser (and Google translate), but that defeats the purpose of having an app.

I am in Italy, and am unable to change the language to something I am comfortable using. This is my first time using the service, and my Italian is not up to a standard which would allow me to select a ride. There should be an option to use the service in a different language, while you are learning the language of the country.

Devs won’t fix crappy region and language settings

I see people have complained about this for years. And for years, this is why I haven’t used it. You open it up and it’s stuck in whatever language the country you are in uses. Developers, here’s a tip: when a lot of people are complaining about something, you should probably fix it. Unless you don’t like making money. Every other app has language settings when you first start it. This isn’t rocket science. Oh, and before you comment: my language and region is US/English. FIX. YOUR. APP. Edit: I know you’re aware of it. You have been for YEARS. Look how old some of the negative reviews talking about it are. Every time I consider trying your app, I see it’s still there. Are you in business or aren’t you? Do you want to make money or not? STOP BEING CHEAP AND LAZY AND FIX IT.

First time I used it to go to Malaga. It took me several hours to purchase the ride because of an error of processing my card that has more than enough money on it. Later I tried to go to Valencia and I was never able to purchase a ride. It kept coming up with error messages. I used 4 different cards and even used one of my friend’s cards and it was the same. I deleted the app and tried to get it back and log in and it told me to try another way of logging in even though my password was correct. The idea of the app is great and the one time I used it was fine but there are many bugs on the daily

I downloaded the app while in France, but my phone’s settings are in English. Even so, the app insisted on French. I’m back in the US, and traveling in Mexico frequently, but I’m still stuck using French and Euros. I know enough French to get around, but I’d much prefer English or Spanish. That you refuse to allow a language or currency change in the app shows that you fail to reconcile the diversity of your clientele. Do better. UPDATE: after a reply from the developer, advising me to change my region to the UK (I live in the US), I’d like to ask: Do the developers understand that this is an app for travelers, and thus it might be a nice feature to be able to customize options such as language and currency? Who wants to change the settings of their entire phone just to customize one single application? I’m presently in Mexico, and would love to use the BlaBlaCar app to book a car. But when I use the app, my only options are French and Euros. So, I go to the website, change to Mexico and Pesos, and set up alerts for new trips. Then, I get emails about new trip in English, with Pounds as the currency? Nobody wants to have to do all these unnecessary currency conversions, and nobody wants to struggle through a language they barely speak, unless the goal is to learn that language. BlaBlaCar as a service is great, but there are a LOT of improvements that have to be made before this app can deserve 5 stars.

Still no fix for search results from Serbia. You can try it, just set region. Everytime zero rides. When I change for example to Croatia then app is working, but currency is in HRK. Headache everytime, please fix it as soon as possible, BlaBla is great for ride sharing.

I love the idea of the app and have used it with friends except it’s not something you can rely on. Tried to book three different blablacars and each were cancelled or the driver didn’t respond in time. This app is great if you aren’t counting on it and are flexible, but if you have time restraints or have no other back up plans i wouldn’t use it.
Current version is a mess

The current version of this app is a total mess. I used this back in January, and that trip isn’t showing in my history. Also, the search feature is way too narrow, requiring one to select a specific time for departure. If there are no trips at that particular time, then it tells you that there are no trips available, without showing other options for the same day. When I search in either the app of website, it tells me that there are no trips. However, I have received multiple emails (as many as 12, maybe more) telling me that there are now available trips. When I tap it to book, it opens first the app, and then my browser. When I click “book ride”, it tells me that it is not possible for me to book on the UK version of the website (I’m not even British; I had to select that to get the app in English. Because of this, I am unable to verify my passport ID, as it is not UK issued. This has ALWAYS been a design flaw of BlaBlaCar, ever since I first checked it out, several years ago), and that I most go to whichever language version the driver uses (one driver was Polish, another Russian). The problem is that I DON’T SPEAK EITHER POLISH OR RUSSIAN, AND GOING TO THEIR VERSION OF THE WEBSITE IS EXCLUSIVELY IN THESE LANGUAGES! Seriously, this used to be a great app, a great experience, and is still a great idea. However, whatever has happened since last I used this (January 2018) is a mess, and has resulted in an unusable waste. Seriously, was there recently a personnel shift in their offices or something? Oh, and to top it off, their customer service is virtually nonexistent.

Since I updated iOS 12.1, app doesn’t work. I can’t find the rides, it always says network error or something like that. Hope it will be fixed soon.

If I would like to get a ride, I would have to pay 6€/ month to even book one ride. Carsharing should be possible for everyone and even the poorest people. please make a fee of 50ct per ride and i am fine. And i want to have a option to travel without insurance if it’s that what makes it expensive. I‘m quite angry on you guys

I downloaded the app because it showed up on Google maps as an alternative to local mass transit options but also because Lyft doesn’t exist here in Florence, IT. Anyhow, the interface is nice and for the most part intuitive to the user. The issue I have are that (1) it presents options that don’t really exist and ends up wasting bandwidth and time and (2) tends to have more server connectivity issues than expected. For example, I click on one option and i get a red banner that says it can’t find it. Or I get a message notification but when i click on the message icon i get a similar message. If those issues get fixed, I can see this being a good app.

Почему пассажиры должны платить за то, за что раньше не платили, в то время как люди, которые строят на этом бизнес не за что не платят. Long time user... still very imperfect app

The concept of ride sharing is great. But the application still remains to be perfected : 1- accepting automatically passengers is always a no-go for me. I do not want passengers that do not understand the concept of being on time. Therefore, I will not accept a passenger with a poor rating and I also tend to screen the passengers that have no history. Am I mean ? Possibly but I have been upset more than once by people who think the Blablacar driver is a chauffeur or a slave... so, I would only use the automatic acceptance if I could put conditions like the minimum rating of the passenger. 2- the application lets passengers book a ride very close to the starting time. This is really not practical. I have seen a passenger get really upset because, when she tried to book a ride at 6:20 am, I did not reply immediately. That was 1 hour before I was starting to drive !! Some drivers may accept this. I don’t. There should be an option to make these last minute reservations either more expensive or with much better warning messages. 3- when people book on a portion of your trip, they can do it while the trip has started. That means that you have to read the Blablacar app, while driving not to miss the requests !!! That’s dangerous. Again, passengers have to book early enough. Or a message shall be displayed to the passenger that needs a last minute booking that he can not be sure that his request is going to be seen. 4- the locations of the stops is always inprecise and impossible to verify when the journey has started. I have a long list of issues and I listed here only the one that I have in mind. Again, it’s sad to see how this app works and how much better it could be.

App shows different fares from the website. Also there are fares available online that you pay the driver directly. Can’t change the language and currency. App needs a lot of work. Better use the website instead.

We are from USA but the only way to get the app in English is to say we are from the UK That means our ID doesn’t match up as it is not UK ID. There appears to be no way to change language once the app is set up. There is no tech support in the app We’ve been charged but have not yet heard from driver and don’t know when/where we meet and there is nowhere in the app to ask for assistance. Good idea and we r crossing fingers that driver will answer our numerous texts and phone calls.

The company sometimes applies major workflow changes, for instance how payments are done. It would be nice if there would be notifications to the user to explain why there is a change and what actually changes. There is in fact some confusion amongst users as to how things work because of this. Also, the Messages section has never been very stable ever since I have used it, which is about a couple of years. Notifications come through, but if the user has the app open on the Messages section, One needs to exit the Messages section and come back in in order to refresh it and see new messages.

I downloaded the app while in France, but my phone’s settings are in English. Even so, the app insisted on French. I’m back in the US, and traveling in Mexico frequently, but I’m still stuck using French and Euros. I know enough French to get around, but I’d much prefer English or Spanish. That you refuse to allow a language or currency change in the app shows that you fail to reconcile the diversity of your clientele. Do better. UPDATE: after a reply from the developer, advising me to change my region to the UK (I live in the US), I’d like to ask: Do the developers understand that this is an app for travelers, and thus it might be a nice feature to be able to customize options such as language and currency? Who wants to change the settings of their entire phone just to customize one single application? I’m presently in Mexico, and would love to use the BlaBlaCar app to book a car. But when I use the app, my only options are French and Euros. So, I go to the website, change to Mexico and Pesos, and set up alerts for new trips. Then, I get emails about new trip in English, with Pounds as the currency? Nobody wants to have to do all these unnecessary currency conversions, and nobody wants to struggle through a language they barely speak, unless the goal is to learn that language. BlaBlaCar as a service is great, but there are a LOT of improvements that have to be made before this app can deserve 5 stars.

As other reviewers have pointed out, this app sets the language according to the country chosen, making it effectively useless for many of us. I understand from developer responses to other reviews that they are working on this problem. There’s a feature for ID verification; my verifications failed repeatedly but no information as to why, or what to do was forthcoming. Following my initial posting of this review, the developer kindly contacted me to ask for further details. To me this indicates a good developer so I improved my rating. Furthermore, they are releasing new versions frequently.

It doesn’t allow you to change the language. I’m an American living in Ukraine, so to search for cars I’m forced to use Ukrainian which is impossible to understand every button, description, or guide. If I want to use English, it takes me to the UK, but I don’t need rides there. Imagine Ukrainians going to France. Oops, no Ukrainian unless you know French—just guess what each thing means. Even Uber or Bond Taxi allows English in Ukraine, and the drivers know about this, why not Bla Bla Car? Is it really that backwards thinking or is it just laziness to allow the options for multiple languages within a country? Unless you know someone who speaks the language of the country you’re in, this app is basically useless. That’s too bad because that’s a lot of lost profit for drivers and your company.

I think you guys should make the app able to save the messages and the informations for the driver and for the trip information Because today I didn’t have internet reception and I was waiting for the woman in the place we agreed to meet at , and I tried to make sure that I’m in the right place but I couldn’t because I couldn’t see the messages in the app and I think it’s a problem if I need to see some information that might help me at the time . I see people have complained about this for years. And for years, this is why I haven’t used it. You open it up and it’s stuck in whatever language the country you are in uses. Developers, here’s a tip: when a lot of people are complaining about something, you should probably fix it. Unless you don’t like making money. Every other app has language settings when you first start it. This isn’t rocket science. Oh, and before you comment: my language and region is US/English. FIX. YOUR. APP. Edit: I know you’re aware of it. You have been for YEARS. Look how old some of the negative reviews talking about it are. Every time I consider trying your app, I see it’s still there. Are you in business or aren’t you? Do you want to make money or not? STOP BEING CHEAP AND LAZY AND FIX IT.

Great concept-- a long distance Uber in many respects. Expect to get to know the other passengers, because y'all will be spending multiple hours in a small car together. However! There needs to be differentiation between location and language. I'm an American visiting Spain at the moment. If I say I'm in Spain, the app turns to Spanish and has no option to change it. I have to pretend I'm in England, and read all prices in British Pounds, to use this service in Spain. Should be an easy fix that may happen by the time you read this review. Overall a great app.
Milan to Venice

I was looking up routes to find the quickest way from Milan to Venice and found blah blah car it seemed very professional and easy to use however I was unable to use this service because I needed an SMS sent to my phone. I am not sure if the app coordinates with United States phone numbers so I was unable to use it. It seems like a very convenient way to get around but was bummed the SMS was unable to coordinate with non local residents. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

My driver canceled no me a few hours before my trip. Bla Bla makes the rider wait 7days for the driver to agree that they canceled. Feels like the driver has taken my money and I can’t do anything about it for a week. Not fair to the rider and let’s the driver scam riders traveling through on vacation since they will be long gone or out of country. Also I did try to book another driver. They had until 1:59pm to confirm a 4pm trip, but he never did accept the ride resulting in the app not allowing me to accept a ride from a third driver. Finally I just got a bus because it was my only option left. Could have missed connection. If you are traveling or not a local I would NEVER USE or TRUST THIS APP!!!

Can't change language

I would love to use this app, but unfortunately it seems impossible to change the language setting. I downloaded it while in Belgium and it will only use French. My French is seriously lacking so I don't feel comfortable using the app. I followed the developer's suggestion to another reviewer and checked that my phone settings are correct, but it makes no difference. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app while here in the US, but, nope, still in French. Why is this simple issue not corrected by now? Other apps let you choose language and currency.

First time I used it to go to Malaga. It took me several hours to purchase the ride because of an error of processing my card that has more than enough money on it. Later I tried to go to Valencia and I was never able to purchase a ride. It kept coming up with error messages. I used 4 different cards and even used one of my friend’s cards and it was the same. I deleted the app and tried to get it back and log in and it told me to try another way of logging in even though my password was correct. The idea of the app is great and the one time I used it was fine but there are many bugs on the daily

I really enjoy using Blablacar had some great experiences. Unfortunately the app is not always smooth, it has delays or errors that don’t allow you to work with it as smoothly as you would want to.

I am an American traveler sitting with my friends in Ukraine and when I sign in, there are no rides on any common routes; when they sign in, there are tons of rides on the same routes and dates. They work in IT and we are all shocked that this international traveler app... isn’t international. The app gives false negatives and won’t show rides in other languages. Now I know why I couldn’t find rides for the past seven weeks! Total disaster. You can only get rides in your home countries. Otherwise .. good luck. Such a shame. We tested on multiple phones. Same results.

The app is good but still a lot space to improve. As many travelers we relocate temporarily in new cities/countries. One thing the app could improve is the option to change the language independently from the OS system location, also the currency should be have an option to see it in a different one. Offline retrieve of messages of data.

The app is not bad, few bugs. I believe the original concept is now over: people tend to use it as a long range taxi service but it’s not. Many passengers think the driver is an actual professional driver who gets paid. In fact, the fee the driver gets is bad, and BlaBlaCar takes a good commission (20-25%) and has very poor customer service. If a driver does not show, which seems to happen regularly, there is no compensation despite it can get people in trouble. For me as a driver, welcoming people in my car is like welcoming someone in my home. You can meet nice people, but some people are just there to enjoy a cheap ride and force themselves to be nice, against nature. I will not use it again, for the money you get as driver it’s worthless the effort to be nice.

The app lacks the important details and options the website has. Essentially all it does for me is keep track of the trips I've planned on the website bc its functionality is so limited. The most important tool for me is searched trips from my location without specifying a destination! It's such a great obvious option of the website that the app, seemingly for no reason, doesn't have.

The app forces language and currency options based on your phone’s country settings. So if you have your phone settings in a different country to try to practice the language, it will force you to use the app in that language and use that country’s currency. As a user you don’t have the option to select your language and payment currency. This is so inflexible! Hope they fix it soon.

Fatal flaw on the first screen

This may be the best app ever published. I would have no way of knowing. The first screen prompts me to choose my country from a list of countries that omits the US. Canada is not on the list, either. So I choose Mexico, and upon proceeding to the next screen, I discover first that all subsequent information will come to me in Spanish; and second, there is no way to go back to the first screen and change my preferred nation. In short, installing BlaBlaCar was a complete waste of my time.

This by far the worst app I have used for UI/UX. Idea is good and it works however I spent hours trying to change my language from a language I didn't understand. A good app gives you an option to change languages on the bottom of the app to make it easy for users. This is a simple task that should have been thought by the app creators long time ago!

I feel like I used to be able to scroll through the rides offered, but now you have to pick an exact date and time and location. Now when I have a free weekend I can't just casually see what's available, I have to look for something specific which may or may not even be offered.

First of all that location doesn’t work properly, it put where the app want, than the price you need to fiz it 10 times to get your post whit price you want. When you want to change your details about ride, same you need more than 10 times to fix it. Please fix this problems

I really like the App, its simplicity, clarity and the community, which has been really nice so far. The only thing that strikes me as odd is that there’s no support for emojis when using the in-App messaging. This would be a nice future feature!

This app doesn’t let you change your language or region once you have made your account. I even tried making a new account and it wouldn’t work. Because my phone’s language is set to Spanish, it assumed I’m in Spain when I actually live in Slovakia. Therefore, it won’t show me any rides in Slovakia at all. The app also never gave me the chance to say where I live or to choose my language. VERY frustrating.

The first time I tried to use BlaBlaCar I was in Hungary. So ever since then I have been receiving emails in Hungarian. My language settings have always been in English, but I still get emails in Hungarian. So I have to copy and paste the emails into google translate, but since a lot of the words are abbreviated (I.e. various names of months), I can’t always figure out what the email says. There’s also no way to contact them about this, and I have tried for 2 years to get through their FAQ page to write them a message to fix this, with no luck. Please fix this, it’s incredibly annoying. I also noticed im not the only person to have this problem.

If I want English I have to change region to UK and have the currency in British pounds....this is pretty ridiculous that I can't change to the language I want (English) and to have the currency I want (Euros). I don't want to pay conversion fees to British pounds just to have it in English. Also the recommendation is to use the browser (and Google translate), but that defeats the purpose of having an app.

I am in Italy, and am unable to change the language to something I am comfortable using. This is my first time using the service, and my Italian is not up to a standard which would allow me to select a ride. There should be an option to use the service in a different language, while you are learning the language of the country.

I’m abroad and would need a car on my way back home. I’ve been using blabla and other carpool apps for years now, but this app does not work from my phone when it’s really important. Contantly crashes, I can not check the profile of the person I booked a ride with, also it doesn’t show the messages. Just downloaded the upgrade and nothing changed.

Developers, your users are travelers, please, take it into account. Even tho I travel in Mexico and ready to see price in pesos (I’d prefer in USD anyway), I do not speak Spanish. But there’s no any option to choose a language. I hadn’t even got an opportunity to enjoy your “allaboutdesign” app, because it’s obviously not all about users.

Good idea for the service, but needs major improvements in user experience. Passengers can cancel booking at any time without any feedback to their rating. Drivers don’t know how reliable are passengers and can’t filter out them.

I don’t know what happened after the update. I uninstall and reinstall the app it still never give me any rides. Only shows on the website. The app becomes useless. But before the update it worked well. I used to use it every where. France, Spain, Russia. But now nothing works! Please fix it! Thanks!

I previously created an account online which has the option of choosing USA. Now I try to download the iPhone app and it doesn’t have the USA options. When I try UK. It won’t allow me to login since my account phone number is USA. Can someone in the app team help? Maybe you think Americans don’t use phone apps?

Trustworthy rides? Sounds nice, except when someone cancels the ride 15min before the agreed time and stops answering their phone. At that point you have no recourse, can’t report, nada. There’s also no easy way to contact the company. So, tonight we have to buy last minute train tickets or lose our hotel reservation. Thanks BlaBlaCar!

It would be great if the app ask for your language and your currency of choice! I live in France, speak English and use the Euro. I can choose France on the app and get Euros and French language or choose U.K., a place I’ve never been, and get English and pounds!
