Having problems
by lightfury Girl on 2021/07/23 03:24
Hi the app is great and all but recently I tried to open a photo and it won’t let me open it also when I try to post something it doesn’t or takes forever I tried lots of diff images that I drew or took with my camera none of them posted also when I try and ask for feedback on a drawing (which I can handle negative things) or logo no one can comment back I’d really prefer a comment section so I can also compliment the people who took the photos and maybe for equestrians (people who ride horses if who ever is reading this doesn’t know ( not to insult anyone)) I can give feedback on how they are riding or what they are using to make sure they know if something is going on and for people who are going to be rude maybe add a report button for people to report negative or inappropriate things and also an ignore button to blur out the words of that person
Not intuitive enough for me!
by Pianogott on 2021/07/21 02:49
I use the photo editing software that comes with my iPhone 12 Pro which is much easier to figure out and use by a tech bonehead like myself….
Too Sharp
by fdfygbmopg3xaqz%#$42 on 2021/07/21 01:53
The APP auto edits the photo, always making it so sharp that it ruins the photo. I’ve been able to just adjust the sharpness back to a natural look, but the APP is also destroying color. I’ve never seen another editor that does this. My photos looks better before I import it to the APP. The best I can do is try to undo what this app does to the images automatically, but with little success.
Great on the go
by nigtmarekat on 2021/07/20 14:47
Over all I like the app version as much as I like desktop one. My only wish that it can easier to you as mobile Lightroom
Used to be amazing
by CA Casper on 2021/07/19 23:17
Used to be an amazing 5-star app, but the latest releases all require subscriptions to do anything useful. I’d consider a flat fee upgrade, and there are multiple in-app purchases listed in the App Store, but no explanation of what they are or the differences between the upgrade plan options.
Bug out there!
by Sherap6 on 2021/07/19 13:16
While using theme>portraits (themes are not loading appropriately/at all.). Please fix this problem for me! I tried using iPhone se 1st Generation and iPad Pro 3rd generation (12.9 in). Failed on both of these devices. With Best Regards!

Extra Premium Payment When You Already Pay for a Subscription???!
by semc7593 on 2021/07/18 23:35
Honestly I love this app. More often then not I am editing photos on my phone on the go instead of going back home to my computer where I have an amazing setup. HOWEVER Adobe just moved SEVERAL features over to their premium package. I am not happy at all. I already pay for an Adobe cloud subscription but now if I want to use this on my phone to make comparable edits to a desktop I have to pay for another subscription……… not cool at all. Definitely won’t be using this product anymore. Now the app interface is plastered with this blue star constantly reminding you of all the features you now can’t use unless you upgrade. It seems cheap and unprofessional. If you pay for an Adobe subscription already then premium should be free instead of limiting the creativity for the people loyal to their products. So disappointed.
This app used to be good
by Jesusisamazing!!!!!!!!! on 2021/07/18 00:40
This app used to be amazing and great. But now everytime I click on an editing tool, it shows a promo add and when I cancel it, it removes all the edits I worked on. I wish it was better like it was before.
Adapt Photoshop Fix
by sofialandaz on 2021/07/17 23:39
I don’t like how this is the new app that replaced photoshop fix. Fix would acually let me blur exactly what i wanted with the brush and be able to see the brushes stroke in green or red depending on the efect. I would like this app to adapt to the features that Fix had.
I would’ve PAID to keep Photoshop Mix & Fix
by Eggplant Papi on 2021/07/17 06:28
Y’all had a great thing with Mix & Fix. Now y’all take several steps backwards to incorporate counterintuitive ideas like meme and quote templates? In Mix you could go in depth with something as small as how far I wanted the font to be spaced; now I’m reduced to having to sort through bland templates that restrict more than innovate. For the option of a a monthly subscription or $35 for the year, I should be able to add a simple solid lined border or add more than only 5 layers. On top of that, how on earth are you supposed to go from editing a photo to mixing layers without exiting back to the main page and the app asking if you want to safe your progress or discard. This app is absolute trash and I was one of the suckers that fed into the click bait that all the things I could do in Mix “and more” would be in Express. I can never get back the hour that I spent in this useless, pandering-to-social-media-culture app. Like the title said I would literally pay to get Mix back and keep the support going rather than attempt to sit through this horrible UI and useless features like the stickers and text templates. This app is trash.
Eh
by gamerproYT12 on 2021/07/17 05:07
Just make the app cost money at that point🤷‍♂️ cant do a single edit without the premium
Misleading trial period
by bwan76 on 2021/07/16 20:17
It says “Free for 3 days, then $34.99/year after trial.” It basically means free for 72 hours! But they charge on the 3rd day right away!
Terrible now
by anaxang on 2021/07/16 19:53
This app used to be really good & I used it all the time but this update is horrible, I can’t do the things I used to do, it goes very slow, it doesn’t let you make multiple marks with loading for a while after 1 small line, when I go to undo something it just moves to a different part of the picture. It’s just bad
Latest update loses TIFF exports?
by jgmaynard on 2021/07/16 06:22
I’m a pretty serious amateur astronomer, and PS Express was exactly what I needed to give astronomical photos a last touch up. I would open my nearly-finished .TIFF image in PS Express on my iPad, shine it up, and save it as a TIFF. As of the last update, PS Express will ONLY save as a .jpg. Was export to .TIFF discontinued? Please no! .JPG is a terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible format. There no longer seems to be any way to save in a lossless format! Im hoping there is still a way to export as .TIFF or .PNG. #teamlossless
Disappointed
by Sadnmj on 2021/07/16 00:37
Miss the days where I could make edits (I loved it) now I have to pay for it. So disappointed
You have to pay to use layers? Ridiculous!
by Amayax on 2021/07/15 12:43
False advertising. The description of this app makes it seem like you can do all of these things at once including adding layers. I literally just need to put one picture on top of another. But I open the layers tab and you have to PAY TO ADD MORE THAN ONE LAYER. Are you serious?! I’m gonna go to one of the millions of free apps that will let me do this with no hassle. I used to be a paying Adobe customer for over 10 years so the lack of accessibility in this app is incredibly insulting and offensive. What is the point of this app, Adobe??
NO DO NOT DOWNLOAD
by Hayden's opinion on 2021/07/15 11:02
Do NOT listen to all these people saying it is a great app because this app did not tell me I had to pay 35 DOLLARS A YEAR just to make photos! I had worked really hard and it took a long time to make my photo and then when I was finished IT SAID GET MEMBERSHIP AND MAKE AWESOME PHOTOS 35 DOLLARS A YEAR! I was outraged! Also I would give zero stars but that’s not aloud and I’m probably gonna get some little email or something saying how sorry they are! Well I do t wanna hear it! DO NOT GET THIS APP!!!!!!!!!😡😡 ⚠️DO NOT GET THIS APP⚠️
Disappointed
by ann hassel on 2021/07/14 17:59
It is very hard to understand how to work this app it says your projects are full can only have five and can’t delete without deleting the photos from all your storage really disappointed it’s a expensive app.
Yep, another app worthy of a 1 star (0 stars if it was possible)
by Zippy O G on 2021/07/14 04:47
Please, do not say the app is free to use when: -it requires an account to use -offers a subscription service -Asks for age verification It annoys me to NO END when all these subscription services offers no one time payment!
It’s trash bruh👎
by DaGoatBoii on 2021/07/14 00:10
Boi this app is trash it’s good and all but it’s not free and I think that’s stupid because I just want to use the app for my thumbnails and you have to pay to do stuff ITS TRASH DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS AT ALL!😡😤
Capitalist scam
by Blueskies_243 on 2021/07/13 15:13
What is the point of paying $60 a month for the creative cloud if you still can’t use the apps without paying more subscription fees.
Prefer Photoshop Mix
by RyukyuTy on 2021/07/13 01:00
I like the idea of the apps being bundled together, but I find some of the functionality counterintuitive. I found Photoshop Mix far easier to use. I’m really trying to like this app, but I just find it painful in some respects despite being pretty good with other photo apps and all the other Adobe desktop versions.
Photo access
by staywoke6666 on 2021/07/12 23:53
EDIT: Since my original review they have updated the app to allow you to select your photos again. Wonderful app, it is my go to!!!!! Thanks for fixing this developers 😊 ORIGINAL : I paid for a yearly subscription for this app because I’ve used the free version for years. Just recently it now requires access to ALL my photos for me to even use the app. I don’t think that seems fair and doesn’t seem necessary. If this is updated, I would be happy to change my review as this was a great app, but that is a huge invasion of privacy to be a requirement to use this app.
I used to love this app
by Garglejob on 2021/07/12 14:57
I used to love this app. I used it constantly and I bought the premium add-on. Now, whatever I bought has disappeared and has been replaced with a subscription that I don’t want. It is also now super tacky and covered with ads. You have to click through so many offers just to do what you used to be able to do. Don’t bother.
Wow talk about poor UZ
by Novedredle on 2021/07/11 20:51
I know adobe is rough but seriously, this UX on a nearly 1000$ iphone 12 mini is horrendous. I know i should be using my ipad but come on…multi million $$$ org can figure out screen resolution?
a big step backwards
by bcctn3 on 2021/07/11 14:09
I gave this app a try and ended up deleting it. Not user friendly and about everything you click on takes you to the App Store to make a purchase. As a long time Adobe user, sad to see it come to this. For now, I’m staying with Adobe Mix/Fix until no longer supported. Wish Adobe would have just combined this to Apps into one.
Clickbait?!?
by Kaden Carrngton on 2021/07/11 04:59
The AppStore said that this app was for 4+ right, but the app said that I was not able to sign up. I don’t know what the cause of this is but I gave this app a small 1 star review. It just doesn’t deserve more than a 3 star review. If you want me to give this app a better review that up your game.
Cancel free trial of PS EXPRESS
by Nanapubos on 2021/07/11 03:10
Hello, can you please explain to me how I cancel the free trial of PS EXPRESS that I accepted by mistake today 07/10/2021 because I am not interested in purchasing this service. Thank you
Unnecessarily Difficult
by blowmei on 2021/07/10 15:02
The new app definitely is packed with even more features than before bringing it closer to the options of the desktop version which is cool for experienced PS users. Unfortunately, Adobe app designers have managed to make what should be a simple few clicks completely not intuitive and confusing for newer adopters of PS. Hopping between PS and Mix is one of many examples of the nonsensical design. Even the "help" module and tutorial do not explain how to return to PS with your work after creating a layer in mix. If these apps are intended to get new users and a new generation to adopt Adobe products, then Adobe has a ways to go facing stiff competition from many other apps that make photo editing easy breezy.
Why does this have to be paid app?
by Boulevaard on 2021/07/10 06:08
I would not have a problem making a ONE-TIME PURCHASE if 9.99 or something like that in order to get the pro features. Only offering a subscription option to an app that used to be completely free is absurd. It is a great app, but it would be better if it did not have a money-hungry company behind it. You will get five stars when I get to pay once for this version. The last things professionals need are more subscriptions to pay for on top of those we have to cover for PC apps.
Terrible experience
by Dnafrequency on 2021/07/09 19:51
Treats you like a moron. Can’t even start using the app without having to be driven through a product immersion path like a cattle. Then once you start tweaking something like tone for first time you get another pop up that’s like “durrr here’s how to play with color!” Screw this app I deleted it.
Camera profile missing
by Mkywalst2 on 2021/07/09 15:50
I cannot import my photos from my iPhone 12 promax because the camera profile is missing so all raw photos that were taken are useless and so is this app
Used for Free for Years, Suddenly Charges $$
by SMHSMH<3 on 2021/07/09 15:20
The non-advanced version of this app had so many awesome free features, and they’ve pretty much been whittled down to nothing. Wish I’d had a heads up so I could’ve refused an update. If it were a one-time purchase I’d probably go ahead and get it because I do like the app. But I’m not going to pay 5 bucks a month for something I used to get free. Stupid and expensive.
Photoshop why!?
by lakshdc on 2021/07/09 14:10
The update is horrible. Hate hate hate it. Yay another great photo editor has ruined themselves. I loved this app before!

You will not give me my shared subscription!
by rollingthatsme on 2021/07/08 20:54
I just today was given the bundle subscription because my free PS Express makes me buy what I have had for free, for years! Now I can’t use any of that paid “shared subscription” without taking this 3 day premium trail. If I click on it I don’t know if I will be billed or not if I don’t cancel in exactly 3 days. I should have been transitioned seamlessly according to getting subscription guidelines. Is there any support at all at Adobe?
So sad
by Vicznutz on 2021/07/08 00:51
The best application I’ve ever known for the device was Photoshop fix and mix, this new platform has some nice specific qualities but in comparison is dumbed down and much less flexible, accurate, user friendly and capable… I’ll only give the one star for the past applications but I’ll be moving to affinity

by Violates my privacy! on 2021/07/07 23:50

Update Ruined it
by Steve5938262 on 2021/07/05 21:01
I’ve used this app for a couple years it was always amazing and it had always been pretty much free. Now all of a sudden you have to pay for almost everything. It’s ridiculous.

Needs a major update
by Tazzman777 on 2021/07/04 20:30
Can’t change the size of the healing brush. Won’t allow you to liquefy around the edge of the screen. App crashes when switching between filters. I may have to unsubscribe from Adobe products if this isn’t fixed soon.
Purchase Didnt Work
by cmarcum1 on 2021/07/04 18:20
Purchased a yearly subscription but the app never would upgrade. Every time I used a filter that wasn’t free, the app would pop up and say “Purchase Complete. Waiting for feature activation.” Leaving it on this screen for 20 mins did nothing. It never did complete. Asked for refund.
Scam
by Bulangan on 2021/07/04 18:16
Stay away from this app!
Fun with pictures
by dodgedabullett on 2021/07/04 16:12
When I downloaded this app it was free. I use it allot with my pictures and had fun trying out new things with it! But for some reason it wants me to pay now & I don’t get it. If it wasn’t for that, I would have given 5 stars. The next time that I use it, if it still wants me to pay for it, I will delete it.
App is ruined
by Emuhlee5764 on 2021/07/04 06:12
Literally all I want to do is select a small part of the photo and then flip it. And now that Photoshop MIX is gone I can’t do it with this junky app.
“Free” trial expires early
by Ninjahalfie on 2021/07/03 22:12
I tried this app for the 3 day trial period. It did not have enough edit options to be worth paying for me, so I went to cancel the subscription, and the Apple app had already tried charging me before the free trial had ended. Thankfully my bank held the charge and contacted me. The app tried charging me today as well, even though I’d canceled it yesterday.
Bad update
by R. E. L. on 2021/07/03 21:18
I can't figure out how to save to camera roll since the last update. It keeps prompting me to sign up for free 3 day trial, after which I'll be charged a monthly fee. I'm not trying to do anything but put a border around a photo, not something I'm going to pay for when there are apps that let me do that for free. I need to be able to edit and save without being pestered to sign up for a free trial of something I'll never subscribe to, and I certainly don't want to have to screenshot every time because I can't figure out the update. Please fix, or if it's subscription only, please indicate that so people like myself can delete it and stop taking up space on our phones. I don't want to be screenshotting stuff I'm supposed to be paying for, but it's always been a free app and I see nothing to indicate that's no longer the case. It seems I just can't figure it out. Please fix if this is a bug. If this is no longer a free app with in app purchases, maybe it would be appropriate to put a notice in the app saying so, or at least make it impossible to begin editing without subscribing.
Won’t work
by boiler813 on 2021/07/03 01:46
The app clearly isn’t working right. Can hardly do anything on it. You try and make collages and select photos and blanks just come up. Very disappointing.

Take me back!
by JL McM on 2021/07/02 17:57
I’ve been playing around with ps for awhile and it’s ok. Back in the 90’s I had a Windows version of Photshop 5.5. I loved using the layers editing to create my own art. I loved that app but as new versions of Windows came along, I couldn’t use it anymore. Is there an inexpensive Windows 10 Adobe tool available that would do the things that Photoshop 5.5 used to do? Thank you!
This app has great features but Photoshop Mix and Fix were better
by M@rshmallo on 2021/07/02 03:35
I like the ease of use of this app and it feels more polished. The interface is excellent but when the app first opens, it takes too long to be able to get to fixing a picture. I mostly use Photoshop when I need to get people in or out of photos and this still directs me to use Photoshop Mix to do that. I might as well just keep using Procreate for that.

At the risk of having my accounts messed with...again.
by feloniouspunk70 on 2021/06/30 17:26
I wasn’t paying attention. My fault really. However- the fine folks at Adobe took all of my files and folders -from all Adobe Apps, and kept them until I paid for another PSEx sub. I am pretty sure I had already bought a lifetime sub to that app. Like I said, I need to pay better attention. I missed a well paying gig that could have been super easy on my phone. iOS and my iPhone were the only option at the time. C’est la vie. Lessons learned? Back up all Adobe files offline somewhere. Read the fine print. Pay attention to these companies that ruthlessly prey on absentminded people like myself. That said- I love you Adobe! Thank you for giving me my files back. 🤌🏼
Beware! Bait and Switch!
by D segal on 2021/06/30 16:06
I have had this app for years and it never required a monthly subscription. Now it’s suddenly a paid app. Okay, there seems to be some pretty cool updates. Plus, it offers the first 3 months free with a trial subscription, so I agree and sign up only to find out that I am not getting three months free in addition to the month paid for. It expires and renews a month from today! Not cool and canceled! UPDATE! Still not canceled! When I got this app years ago, it was free to use. Much to my surprise, you recently added a fee. I NEVER sign up for monthly subscriptions but the trial of the “new improved paid version” said I would get 3 months free before being billed. Lies!! I was immediately billed and got zero months free, so I wrote to you asking why. I never received a response!! Not I am being billed again after asking to cancel. This is a bait and switch. I no longer want this app! I would like to cancel immediately! Do NOT bill my account!
Preferred photoshop fix as it’s own app
by Junk Gsx on 2021/06/30 05:58
The simplicity of photoshop fix was exactly why I used it. I don’t see why the app is no longer available in the app store. Even if some features are in express, why discontinue an app? The interface of express is awful and difficult to use relative to fix. I hate it.
Un-needed update

I greatly enjoyed Photoshop Mix and how it worked though it's unfortunately been discontinued. I have tried the "updated" and newer app though I find it much more complicated and less effecient, especially the cut/add tools.
Prefer not to share all photos
by Jewelzht on 2021/06/29 19:09
Bring back the privacy permission setting to let the app access only selected photos. The app now requires “allow access to all photos” to be turned on in order to use the app at all. Not cool.
Corp gonna Corp
by Chris is this 707 on 2021/06/29 18:43
I loved this app for the longest time. But Adobe being Adobe they had to make it overpriced at some point like all their other products. What’s the most annoying is that many functions that were free you now have to pay a monthly subscription for. A monthly subscription for a phone app!!! If this was reasonably priced I wouldn’t even care, but it ain’t even close to reasonable. Make a free product or don’t. Don’t go playing with my heart. I especially feel bad for the PR guy who is paid to respond to all these comments with corporate platitudes promising nothing in response to these bad changes.

Bring back Photoshop Mix
by Jayoh96 on 2021/06/28 23:41
Adobe removed the great Photoshop Mix application in favor of its more well skinned but less well designed and less intuitive cousin, Photoshop Express. Then Adobe put the features required to even come close to the same edit functions as Photoshop Mix behind a pay wall. Sad to see the good things die. Adobe Photoshop Mix
by SunflowerApplehead on 2021/06/28 16:15
Please bring back Adobe Photoshop Mix on the App Store, even if for a limited time. It was the best free editing app I had and everything and all of my work on it is gone. As someone who edits a lot it was a vital app for me. I don’t keep up with app updates or anything so I had no idea it was being taken off. I deleted it for storage but planned to download it again to my surprise; it’s gone. Please please please put it back on the App Store, literally everything is gone.
Every update is worse than its predecessor
by MaxAgHammer on 2021/06/28 12:39
Update: thanks to Timmy Becks, another reviewer and _____le who pointed out that users should delete this app and reinstall it, instead of updating it, to clear the obnoxious and creepy “Adobe PS requires access to all photos” issue. Timmy’s advice worked, unlike summs22’s, which neglected the important first step of deleting the app. Deleting and then reinstalling causes the nice big “x” to appear in the upper left, and then you can selectively grant access to the photos you wish to edit, instead of letting Adobe look at everything on your phone. Smart users will delete this app for good and find an alternative. What other negative reviewers are posting is correct: lots of features that were once free to use are now inaccessible without an Adobe subscription, and the app’s overall performance is slower and the UI is more cumbersome and obtrusive than it ever has been. I pine for the good old days of Photogene 4.
Y’all really ruined whole apps
by yinz are shady on 2021/06/28 01:02
It’s really shady and dirty that y’all took multiple stand alone apps and hid them behind a pay wall. Used to be able to download photoshop mix and photoshop fix by themselves and now we can’t, and now at least photoshop mix is hidden behind a pay wall. Give it back.
At least is has RAW support unlike the photoshop app for iPad
by Hannibalhannibal on 2021/06/27 02:47
Had to delete and redownload to get access to my subscription. Has decent features and works well. It’s best feature is RAW support. Which means I use this app on my iPad too, because the “full” photoshop app still doesnt, two years after Adobe promised it.

Money hungry as always
by Aubrie Midori on 2021/06/26 00:00
Adobe announced it was discontinuing PS fix and mix and that the features would be integrated into PS express. HOWEVER, the entire fix and mix function is stuck behind an overpriced paywall because Adobe always has and always will only ever care about money. So thanks for killing two great apps for monetary gain.

Ruined by horrible UI and scummy practices
by PewDiePie7 on 2021/06/25 16:09
This app used to be a 5/5. It was easy to use, loaded stuff quickly, and had a large amount of tools for free. It was an app I recommend my friends get because I really felt it was a solid picture editor. This app is now a shell of its former self. Everything takes ages to load and sometimes items will just sit there and infinitely load, forcing you to either give up or close out the app entirely. The UI has been made slower and more confusing, and worse of all, things that used to be free to use are now locked behind a scummy subscription service. It’s not even a couple of tools that were free are now locked behind a pay wall, it’s almost half of what they used to provide. I don’t know what happened behind the scenes here but this app has been thoroughly ruined.
Why is your logo on my photographs???
by Argghhh is already taken! on 2021/06/25 14:29
Placing your logo on my photographs is outrageous. I just saw this feature. It is my photograph, not yours. I have happily used your editing app for years. Now I must erase this every time I edit a photo? Why are you doing this? You need to advertise on my work? Please STOP this practice. Do you have a way to eliminate this?

Wasted time
by bruhguy4 on 2021/06/25 00:24
I’ve always been a content user of Adobe’s Photoshop. I recently decided to use this app for business I’ve started lately that involves removing the background of different photos. It is tedious, and takes patience and steadiness to define the outline of each object. For whatever reason, every time I’ve used this app/tool, my app has crashed 10 minutes into refining the edges of a picture. I’ll edit a photo for 10 minutes and then it’ll crash without saving my edits. I’ll unhappily do it all over again, just for it to crash again. It’s absolutely infuriating. I paid the $5 to use this tool, just for it to waste my time and patience.

What’s up with all the complaints?
by Tommy Becks on 2021/06/23 11:59
It is hilarious to me to see what people are complaining about. We have one guy complaining that there’s no auto fill for passwords and another user MagXHammer claiming that there’s no privacy control. Dude, delete the app, reopen it, and you will be asked to give access to all photos. Don’t hit yes. There’s an X at the top left. Hit it and then it will bring you to the main screen in which you will be given the option to choose what photo access you wish to give. What a bunch of cry babies. App works great. No problems.
Not very happy about it
by Evelia Contreras on 2021/06/23 08:45
I had got the free trial to see if it was good enough to get for a longer period of time. Then it charged me the money when I had just gotten the free trial to try out the app. Not very happy with that.
Not a fan of merged app
by iluvedward1 on 2021/06/23 08:17
My biggest want in this app is the perspective crop tool. Add that and there’s really nothing you couldn’t do editing wise to photos… if you are willing to pay for premium features. Don’t get me wrong, this app is still worth it for the filters and light/color adjustments, but most of the cool and fun stuff is premium. I am not a fan of losing Photoshop Mix support. I don’t mind the Fix app being integrated with Express, but the Mix app is my go to app for removing backgrounds and creating layered and blended photos. I also am not a fan of 95% of the features that are free on the current Mix & Fix apps are now only available through a premium subscription. And the tools and ease of use has severely diminished. I think it’s a mistake to stop supporting the Photoshop Mix app. I’d rather pay to use that than something that in my opinion is diminished quality. If you bring the Mix platform as is to the Express app and not have it all in premium only, I might change my mind.

Cutout is Smartcut
by Polishpanda_ on 2021/06/21 20:09
Biggest part to editing is cutting out backgrounds. This smartcut highlights the background nicely. But then what?! Nothing works. It doesn’t save a png it just looks red and nothing else is useful about it. When you save to camera roll it’s just a regular photo. How does this work?? Want a 5star rating than give 5 star effort to fixing this issue.
No keychain support
by sr. frosky on 2021/06/21 16:38
The most basic functionality of supporting password field protocols which allow one to use stored passwords (keychain/1-pass/etc) and thus strong passwords is not supported. Requiring simple passwords or insecure copy/paste. Can’t think much of an app developer that fails at such basic level
Adobe photoshop editing app review
by anniemericle on 2020/06/18 15:51
I’ve only recently started using this app! It’s been on my phone for a while but i didn’t really have any interest in it. My phone used to be my mom’s and she had all the Adobe apps because she worked for the company! Anyways moving to the review part of this. I found it to be helpful to edit my photos that I took either of nature or myself or friends or find cool photos on the internet and kind of add on to their beauty. I then discovered the discovery page where people share their edits. I love it! I’ve always wanted people to see what I can do with photography as photography has a very special place in my heart. I love how people can like your photos. It’s like Instagram but it’s not like Instagram. What I mean by that is people share photos about their lives or what seems important to them and whether someone likes it or not you don’t have to worry about people thinking otherwise. The thing that separates this app from any other social media is there are no area for comments. I know comments are like the danger zones in social media! It’s scary to enter the comments not knowing what someone may think of what you post. This app makes me feel safe and comfortable about what i post. So over all I would recommend this app to anyone from 9 and up!
So much fun!
by YachtieM on 2020/08/22 16:23
I’m having a lot of fun designing my own inspirational posts from my own photos. Adobe PsX makes this very easy with the editing of each layer. There could be some minor improvements, eg in the stroke for fonts (I haven’t figured out to cancel out of that once it’s in place without deleting the text and starting over completely) and the choice background color of the message in combination with the font color (which I would like to be able to make my own combinations for), or the spot correction that doesn’t allow for spot darkening/lightening, as far as I can tell and the spot correction that takes a blob from not always the best next spot over & creating a layering of branches instead of a darker spot in the background kind of thing. Overall this app provides a lot of excellent features. There are also other Adobe apps that connect into it with ease, but I haven’t had the need to use them in conjunction with this one. My concern is that at some point Adobe will turn around and charge me for use of the whole thing or have a monthly subscription for it making an older version obsolete, as is my experience with another Adobe product I used for years and don’t use enough to get a monthly for. This trepidation and minor adjustment mentioned above (maybe I need to check out the help section on this) made me drop a star. In the end Adobe is amazing and does deliver with its photo development apps.
Product Review With Request
by Westway72Tn on 2021/05/29 10:22
I've used Adobes photo apps for a long time and honestly think that their app layouts are Numero Uno. Lightroom, PS Express, and Photo Fix are used everyday and I couldn't do what I do without Adobe. Well I probably could, but it wouldn't be as easy as it is now. Now If I was able to design the final piece to my -Adobe Photo Maintenance Collection-, it would be an app that would allow the user to analyze any photograph to determine if that photo is actually the original image, or if it's been munipulated. An example of munipulation would be receiving an image that has possibly been overlayed with another image, maybe it's had parts removed by cutout, or something was erased. An app like that would be to cool. If possible the app would attempt to reconstruct the image to it's original glory. The user could just tap a fix photo button and the program would attempt to remove as much of the overlay / cover-up as possible, then it would attempt to rebuild the photo to it's original look. While your at it could you all throw in a simple -Focus My Blurred Photo button-. Just take a blurred photo that's recognizable and bring it into focus. I mean it's all 1's and 0's right? I'm sure you guys and girls at Adobe have got this wrapped up already. Cheers!
Love being able to use Photoshop on my iPhone!
by LMCallais on 2021/04/27 17:46
I have been using Photoshop since I was assigned to PSYOP in the Army in 1992. I had received a minor in Studio Art with an emphasis in B&W Photography during the good old film days and Photoshop blew my mind! I was an Interrogator/Linguist/Interpreter and when I saw the Illustrators being able to manipulate the digital images I made sure to shadow them when I had finished my translations. Good thing I did because I was called upon to use the skills I had learned when we had no Illustrator available. After I finished my Army Career, I obtained a job which required me to use Photoshop in my daily duties. I loved how Adobe has continued to evolve and improve Photoshop over the the almost 2 decades that I have enjoyed using it. I now use Photoshop on a personal capacity. It amazes me that Photoshop is available on my phone and iPad. I am currently retired and Service Connected Disabled Veteran who also has Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, I have enjoyed learning compositing skills. I have done a series of self portraits showing my journey with Multiple Sclerosis. I have done other series, also. I share them with friends and the local Art guild. I believe that I will have a subscription to Photoshop - and the entire Suite, forever!

Easily a 5 Star app if not for adobe’s constant angling for more money and more user data, updates that reduce functionality and unexpectedly lock you out of the app just so they can demand your email address in order to track and market to you. They already had the market cornered and had one of the most loyal customer bases of an software company that they’ve built up since the earliest days of Macintosh computers. They are ubiquitous in the desktop publishing industry world wide with zero competitors in sight (at least once quark dodo’ed out). Now that they’ve introduced their monthly leasing structure for their flagship products they are not only destroying what they’ve built up until now but more importantly they’ve stopped cultivating younger generations of loyal users who will choose other photo editing software packages that have a relatively minimal one price tag. No ones going to stop using photoshop who’s used it for years but students and other new users will be using other more affordable options. Basically I rant to say that adobe decided to bleed the goose that laid the golden egg for bigger quarterly gains. Suckers ruining a good thing. But this app for the iOS is on point and tight, if you know what your doing and not just interested in pre-fab filters there’s an impressive amount of photo editing options here. Get it together before that golden egg laying goose flys the coop.
Best editing app ever!!!!

I love this app! It’s also free and I am so thankful for that because I don’t have that much money but I love taking photos it’s one of my hobbies. On this app u can add filters that look awesome. You can also add blur which makes the photo look great! This app is rlly easy to use and I rlly like it. Btw don’t like ever write reviews for apps but this app is the best and a must have for photographers or anyone rlly. I have pics that I don’t rlly like and want to delete but before I delete them I edit them in this app the I rlly like how it turns out and ❤️ the pick. I also recommend huji which is not rllya editing app but it’s a camera app, but I like ps express more. I high recommend this app fr yo. Get it lol. (Sry for any grammar mistakes I didn’t reread it cuz rn I want to edit more of my photos) Anyways trust me get this app u won’t regret it. When I tell someone and tell them to trust me on this I mean it and I know it’s true and they may not believe then but in the future they thank me so much. So u may not believe but just try and then maybe like spiritually thank me. P.S. your welcome for recommending it (ik that at least 94% of the people who read this comment will be so thankful, I did my calculations)
A mixed bag...
by GGTriGeek on 2018/11/15 00:19
There are some things I really like about the app, and some things I really dislike. Positives: I really like the ability to create custom looks. This is a huge time saver... pull up a photo, apply your own personal style, and the photo is ready to save. I also like the adjustment tools as a whole. They are intuitive, easy to use, and cover my needs for post processing. Negatives: I hate the social part of the app. Every time I start the app, someone’s hoot pops up and I need to exit this to get to my photos. For social feeds, I use Instagram and I shouldn’t be force fed social media just to modify my pictures. This is a more recent update... you didn’t get that splash screen in the past. Ideally we should be able to disable this in settings. The other negative is the app can be slow or crash at times. This has happened for well over a year, and I originally thought it was my old iPhone. Nope... same issues when I got my iPhone X at the end of last year. It will freeze on a photo and take a couple of minutes to make one adjustment. This doesn’t happen in other photo processing apps I’ve used, just this one. Overall, it’s still the app I use most often for ease of use... I just wish the social splash could be turned off, and that the stability would improve... and I’d give it a 5.
Undeserving of the photoshop name
by storeE8 on 2017/10/14 15:15
With affinity photo and other zillions of this type of app out there, this is kind of an embarrassment. To each their own, and not knocking anyone for liking it, but as a professional, this app - and their others - are not what you’d expect from adobe if you’ve relied on them for desktop software in the past. I can see plenty of instagrammers and selfie takers loving this, and that’s great - it’s nice to go beyond what apple stock apps and Instagram filters have to offer. 👍 However - Their scatterings of iOS apps meant to ‘add up’ to a pseudo-desktop ‘suite’ of features and offerings is exactly that - scattered. And highly frustrating because of it. There should be a much more robust amalgam of these apps for the iPad. Which the competition has already completed, so one must assume that adobe was and is always going to consider their iOS apps as lightweight apps for your phone only. Too bad, really. I appreciate adobe sketch, and I know that some of these apps have some perks and are designed fairly well, so it’s not like incompetence, it’s a plain and metered decision by adobe. With their pricey subscription model on desktop, and this ‘strategy’ for iOS, I can’t see them being top dog for much longer. Affinity and others may swallow them up while they remain somewhat oblivious and/or too profit-minded to survive this mobile/new-school editing software revolution.
Please help🙏🏻

Hello, I know I probably won’t get a response but it’s worth a shot. I have downloaded more photo editing apps than you can imagine. I have tried so hard to figure this issue out and I can’t for the life of me. So I’m really desperate at this point. Can you please tell me how to resize an image without compromising the photo? PSexpress gives you the aspect ratio presets for different social media platforms to choose from. But, it doesn’t matter what I choose because it always cuts off my photo. I don’t want to do that. I want to be able to fit in the FULL size photo. If it means I could crop it into being a full sized photo, I would be willing to loose on the quality. And, I don’t want to put it on a white background so that the photo fits in that square because I would still be loosing on the photo. I want to be able to resize to whatever dimension I need to in order to fit the photo in different social media platforms. I know that a lot of these platforms automatically compress the photo for you but, I would like to resize it before I upload so I don’t compromise the photo, and it doesn’t get cut off. I have watch many videos yet, I can never get it. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could suggest what I can do to fix this frustrating problem. I would be so grateful!!

I have used the free photoshop express app on several generations of iPhones. Before Apple had editing right there in your iPhone photos. But honestly, even since the Apple editing has been included I still prefer using this Photoshop app. I’m no professional by any means so I have no idea how to articulate what it is that’s better lol but. I feel it’s extremely user friendly and has great options and features/tools to use in the free version (I’ve never even considered the premium). And... if you have used any other photo editing apps then you KNOW what I mean about the apps just suddenly kicking you out. Seriously aggravating when they just suddenly shut down and close the app thereby losing your edits and whatnot. I have never had that issue with this photoshop express. There are no advertisements either like some apps have. Previously, I would have said that I wish it had a couple other features so that I didn’t have to go to another second or third app to doodle on the pics or add a text overlay etc. but it appears as if they have added these things now! So, before I start sounding like a paid advertisement lol I digress.
Must have for everyone of all ages and with beginner to advanced knowledge of photo “editing”
by K.C Morgan on 2018/12/19 17:55
It’s everything you can expect from Adobe! The favorite , to me anyway, is the collages variety! It’s not just squares beside each other, you got everything you can imagine including cool shapes like triangles or circles with as many photos as you can want( I don’t know that for sure , but so far I have used a collage with 12 photos and it looked awesome! The shapes also are aligned in many ways to make a huge impact and you can also size them each individually. It literally almost limitless what you can accomplish with these bold and exciting new look of collages! You can also add text with many options of the best fonts and can input them with “templates “ that are basically awesome quotes that you see on Pinterest or Facebook except you can edit the words, font, and color even the alignment ! Highly recommend !!!! I used it to sell things on offer up , eBay, or any site because it enables you to put everything on the first photo along with the price or info in a eye catching design that entices buyers to click to view your item(s)!!!
StopPromoting me to review this
by neverusingticketmasteragain on 2021/03/24 22:22
Iv reviewed this app like 20 time and continue to get printed to(like there isn’t even a x to close the window it just keeps bringing me here. And it’s always when stuff gets worse. Stop asking me to review it lol I pay for the premium or whatever and I’m bombarded with stupid “adds” while I can only edit photos 10/20 at a time before everything I click and every file prompts “cannot be opened”. Reset the app and I can edit maybe 6 more before the errors come again. Random crashing as if I actually go on a streak of editing without errors, but that’s less frustrating than having to reset the app every 10 minutes so I can actually get some editing done... Also the update that made it so I can’t access/edit photos from my own phone, on because the app needs to now be connected to the internet so you have the option to post on their “social media” built in dashboard.... I don’t want that.... I want to edit my photos..... I don’t need to see other peoples work(even if it is cool) I need to edit the photos on my phone so I can download/upload/take more photos to continue the cycle.... Ask me to review. I do it because the close button is blocked, do a stupid review, go back edit one photo and BOOM REVIEW OUR SHITASS APP. Well it would be better if I didn’t have to review the app every photo I crop and and center.... plus whatever else I wrote before...
Easy to use
by Anne643152 on 2019/10/10 01:46
Great if you have an online store. My god this shaved about 40min per picture compared to what I was using before for stark white-flat-lays. Basically you only need basic understanding of... using apps... and you’ll be able to mess around with this and figure it out even if you’ve never used it before. Honestly. It’s user friendly IMO and way less “computer person” (lol) than the full photoshop computer program, yet you can edit pictures and make them look nearly as professional, or just as, depending on what you’re doing (like in my case to make the white backgrounds- this app lets me make pro-level ones). If you just want a picture to edit your selfies, this is probably a bit more advanced photoediting than say, FaceTune, and you probably need to know how to edit pix a bit more than you do on that app. But for anything professional, products, to make nature/scenic pix pop, to add text, etc- it’s fantastic. Also, it makes the best collages of any app I’ve ever used. Hands down. I really never review apps, but I love this one. And I love the sister apps that go with it. Fantastical. Seriously have no complaints that I can think of.
Best app for amateurs and professionals while on their phone
by Gregknowles22 on 2019/05/08 03:59
I started using Adobe Photoshop in 1992 while in College to become a photojournalist. I remember still the awe I felt going to Mrs. V’s class. What incredible things would I see today? I try to hold on to those feelings in a world now full of altered images. It’s exciting, yet sad, that we seem to have lost ourselves in the realm of the surreal. I believe this app is incredible. There is no competition for handheld devices. Constantly improving while keeping its roots steady. At this point, I use the remove flaws tool as I used the original clone tool with great precision. If you’re at all confused or frightened by all the options photoshop has to offer, my advice to you is the words Mrs. V once told me...Just play. If I could give you any advice for improvement, I’d say look to the filters on instagram. I still prefer their options to any others offered here. And the effects offered by Carbon are brilliant! I’d add a Leica effect for selective focus and unique background pixilation and a hasselblad effect for a medium format look. That’s all. And if I could have my old clone tool with the choice of brushes...I’d be in Heaven. Thank you!
Textual Evidence Taken Out of Context
by Tessla555 on 2021/05/31 05:19
Hmm, it asked me to write suggestions on how to improve the text options in PS Express, however, I am scratching my head because the title to this screen now requests a review. I’ll do both, I surmise. Onward! This document is a basic bar graph. I figure it is worth noting that while I opened fresco, I closed it once I realized it doesn’t have the bar graph function. Because I often find myself pondering the quality and experience a person employs when writing reviews, I will also add that I create more in the field of writing and wish to do my own typography when I publish my magnum opus; this does not qualify me for an educated review on either photography, meme making, or scrapbooking. I did find it punctual that this review asking me to comment on the type features in PSExpress was requested at precisely the moment I was airdropping my image to my iMac out of frustration with the ongoing options that didn’t fit. I offer little, but the reason is more from my hands’ neuropathy than fodder for discussion: Please create make a text box that I can format with my own pizazz, perhaps with the other prepared styles if necessary.
Always the standard
by gdongusgold on 2019/05/01 08:13
Sure, I’ll get excited about a new app with a unique feature or one with the standard offerings packaged differently enough to qualify as a novelty or disguise itself as a convenience - but they always fail to perform for long (usually get sluggish or think annoying commercials are what I deserve for using the product) and my excitement gives way to rational thought, and rational thinking is the antidote to impulse buying. But I win because while I may be out a couple dollars I learned something and I end up where I was doing well and knew the team on the other side of the app represent the gold standard in their industry. The only less than stellar features I’ve found were in the collage mode where resizing is not as simple as I’d like. Turns out it’s easier to delete the cell or whole collage than it is to edit it or find the help menu in a hurry. Every other feature and function is top notch and you can count on the Adobe team to keep it running smoothly.

I held off writing a review because I hoped Adobe would fix this problem. I enjoy this app very much and it's a robust, useful, full-featured app. BUT....accessing it via the Photos app (e.g., by clicking Edit and using PS Express to edit the photo in the Photos app interface) has become buggy all of a sudden. More than 75% of the time I edit a pic this way, when I go to save it the screen will go black and the little "working" animation will twirl around and around. And it never saves the changes. INFURIATING. Often I will close the Photos app, reopen it and try to edit it again only for the same result. Sometimes a third time is the charm and it will save the photo edits. Opening the PS Express app before doing this doesn't change the outcome. I prefer being able to quickly edit it via the Photos app as the workflow is easier than loading manually in PS Express directly (when I have many to go through). This only started about 2 months ago. I have iPhone 8, 256GB, latest iOS updates. Please please fix this, it's been a bug for long enough. Contact me if you'd like me to video record this happening or for help recreating the issue. Thanks!
My go-to app for quick edits
by Korubisutaa on 2017/12/11 20:13
I love all of the Adobe CC suite apps but this one probably gets the most day to day use. Unlike other editing apps, I've never had a crash and lost work, it is extremely stable, and doesn't lag when applying changes... Unlike some other apps that are badly optimized as far as ram usage. I like that you can make and save your own filters, in other apps I can achieve the same look I want but if I want to apply it to multiple images it's a pain in the neck of remembering the order of settings and their intensity. With PS Express that hassle is no more. It's so versatile too, I can use it to crop and adjust before importing (easily, I might add) into another image editing app, but I can ALSO do the reverse and use PS Express for the finishing touches. It all depends on the task at hand and what I want to achieve. I'd give it five stars if it had layers, though importing into Mix, among others, gives me that option so it's only a minor annoyance as some images could be done fully in Express if it gave the option for layers. But it's a really amazing app nonetheless and I highly recommend it.
Powerful app when it works
by Airika8oh on 2021/06/08 11:19
I love using this app to quickly edit my cell phone photos. The variety and ease of the tools are great and allow me to make precise edits to get my photos to look exactly the way I want. I have many presets that I’ve created and saved to the “My Looks” menu that make it easy to replicate my favorite edits across many photos over time- a huge benefit to speed and consistency. However, the app is buggy. It freezes or crashes often. It can be very slow and get “stuck” when switching between menus in the app. And sometimes, it just won’t open certain images. These issues have not been a deal breaker for me- usually shutting down the app and restarting is all that is needed. But it is frustrating and slows down the process when I’m trying to edit several photos. One other wish for this app: once I save a series of edits to “My Looks”- I can no longer see the edit “recipe” for that edit. I wish there was a way to look at the “Looks” you’ve created and see the edits that you used to create that look. Overall, great app- very powerful and gets used almost daily. Like most things in life, does have room for improvements.
No longer works for iPhone!
by dancingheart67 on 2020/03/04 14:31
Ok I updated my phone app and very little is open, it says I need a subscription. How is it that it all continues to work on my iPad? I remember paying a one time fee (on my iPhone) that opened the adobe suite in the past. So I can only edit on my iPad only and all the adobe products seem very integrated on my iPad, but not on my iphone nothing works and pictures won’t open between any adobe apps. and I am logged in. I’ve hit restore purchases and nothing happens. There is nowhere in the app to buy any subscriptions or purchases, and nothing works correctly. So I give it three stars because it works (for now) on the iPad and all my purchases are there and open and apps still work, but not at all on the iPhone. And you can’t find any instructions on what to do to get purchases back or where to go to purchase again. There is no way to email the devs in any app. No instructions for iPhone at all and what works on my iPad does not handoff to iPhone! It was great and now is actually worthless (as I do most of my picture taking and editing on my iPhone) unless I airdrop my photos to my iPad.
I use PS more often than I thought I would
by jbiancalana on 2017/11/19 20:09
I am a hobby photographer, so had a hard time justifying the monthly subscription fee. However, I use the whole suite of Adobe photo manipulation tools more often than I thought I would. In addition, my photography also has significantly improved not just because of post editing, but because I am more thoughtful about what I can do post-editing. For example, I would often take tight photos and shoot jpegs only because I did not take the time to edit my photos. Since I know I will process my photos after a shoot, I don’t take super tight shots because I know I can do a far better job cropping with software than through a viewfinder. Also, I am almost never frustrated from overcropping when taking the photo anymore. I also always shoot raw giving me the additional flexibility to adjust exposure settings if I didn’t get it right the first time. Finally, I am far more selective about what photos I keep since editing is a little time consuming.
It’s ok
by L1zz1e P on 2020/07/28 06:30
Use it every day but that’s bc the other one isn’t showing up. the previous adobe all access version better for ipad. like fresco a lot tho - i think adobe needs to work on not only creating new products like fresco but empowering the community of creatives better. adobe bridge and lightroom now have many overlaps —- no one young uses bridge but it’s an imperative application!!! empower your community w knowledge. this isn’t about creating a super user friendly dumb down adobe bc you want regular people to use it... this should be focused on empowering designers of all breeds, whether graphic illustration photographer etc. LASTLY - YOU NEEED A LIVE WORK OR MOODBOARDING TOOL LIKE ENVISION FOR PHOTOSHOOTS and moodboards that can literally take the CD from an interactive call sheet where all members of the board can discuss the concepts before, during, and after the photoshoot, not to mention the features that automate create palettes.... adobe envision is the next frontier for you - it’s a creative lab that helps make big creative endeavors as painless as possible.
Excellent App; Two Suggestions...
by JustaRottenGirl on 2018/01/28 19:13
This will make your photos freaking sparkle! A sweet and free photo editing app that offers a lovely and helpful arrangement of filters, effects, and tools for your general and extra photo needs. It has a sleek design and I genuinely enjoy using it. It made my regular old photos pop within a few seconds- it looked like I’d taken professional photos- pretty impressive! I even edit HD wallpapers to my taste- super sweet. However, there are 2 suggestions I’d make: 1. The ability to save while you’re editing, I.e. ‘save progress’ instead of just saving once at the end. Sometimes I get stopped in the middle of editing to take another photo or just because I have to leave the app. 2. Allow users to apply more than one design effect per save. It’s laid out so that the editing process goes in order from filters/design effects, to cropping, lighting/color/clarity/contrast adjustments, to red eye etc. So you can’t apply more than one design effect per process- ex. If I wanted to add the design effect of ‘soft’ AND ‘spring’ I’d have to edit the first time with one, save it, and edit the new photo again to apply the second design effect- which is a tad annoying because often times I’d like to layer my effects. I usually just edit the new saved photo to curbside this feature. Overall an excellent introduction into photo editing apps- this is making me consider investing in more editing apps. I’m highly pleased with this :) solid 4/5!!
People should read descriptions
by DayWalkerDANI on 2020/12/19 17:41
This isn’t photoshop, it’s PS express and is strictly a very basic photo editor, primarily for editing photos for like social media and stuff. It’s pretty obvious based on recent reviews that people aren’t reading descriptions and then writing negative reviews because they failed to read and just hit download, and because they want products for free. This app is great for very basic photo adjustments and expression. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate, and provides all the basic photo editing one needs. It’s not Photoshop and isn’t for removing parts of images, if you want that, you’ll have to use PS on a desktop. Not sure why people expect everything to be free, it’s 2020 and people need to pay their bills and eat, to expect developers to just give you their hard work for free is plain silly and selfish. If you don’t want to pay for it, find another app full of ads instead of complaining on reviews that you have to pay for a product you’re using.
Not all exceptional things have to be complicated
by Blue Phoenix radio on 2020/08/26 04:09
I’ve been an Adobe product user for about 25 years, and I’ve seen the rise of different suites of programs but no program has defined Adobe more than Photoshop. This mobile version is a useful tool, it’s not complex it’s missing a lot of features you would think would be a part of Photoshop… But it is for the phone, and it is for the wider world of users. That being said it is an invaluable tool, and those who have Adobe software for other operating system should remember that you have extra feature of expanded features, easy login… And flawless saving across all your Adobe accounts through your login. The only question is why aren’t you already using it? My family stays enthusiastically engaged with Adobe products including my husband and my teenage children who are artists and filmmakers. Photoshop will give you a tool, where are you take it from there is entirely up to you.
Used to be amazing.. but keeps getting worse.
by BrendanXC on 2020/08/02 03:34
I used to love this app and everything about it. I’m sure to most professional photographers it may not be much, but for me, it does all I need, plus some. I have used this app for quite some time. There were issues in the past that happened very rarely that I was able to just look past due to the updates and bug fixes. However, now it’s basically not even worth it anymore. Half of the filters don’t work! I’ll tap one (one of my favorites) only to see it puts it back to its original setting and doesn’t put a filter on the photo at all, even though it says I have applied it. Before it would just be a few filters and then like I said before, an app update with bug fixes would help. Not literally 50-60% of the filters don’t work. You tap them only to see they put your photo back to the original setting. And no, this isn’t due to a premium setting type filter either. It’s both premium and basic filters. This app is practically useless now, which is a real shame because it was me favorite for the longest time.
All Functions Continuously Frozen
by Ironsidefan on 2019/03/19 06:44
I installed this app on my iPhone XS Max around four weeks back. It had a different design user interface that all made sense, and worked. I initially installed it to use its photo mirror reverse feature, but afterward began discovering what all else it was capable of. Several weeks passed which during I was notified and installed an update from the developer. At the end of that period I needed to utilize the mirror reverse feature again, and discovered the changes to the layout of the user interface. From that point until now nothing works. It is all frozen except for a function labeled “Collage”. I notified the developer, and they replied requesting screen captures of what was showing, as well as clarification of the situation. They replied three times altogether, but since have gone “silent”. I told them in my first message that if nothing changed after a week, that I would be permanently deleting their app as in its current state it is nothing more than completely useless when all of its icon controls remain in effect as an “oil painting”. As I have not received any further communication from them tonight I followed through, and permanently deleted their app.
Better!
by Damagetwin2077 on 2018/01/06 20:13
Update 2: Kudos to the developers who actually read these comments and care about user experience. The recent update allows for solid color backgrounds for collages however, this doesn’t completely fix the issue because of a few issues. 1. The color pallets for borders and backgrounds are different. 2. The color sliders for the CMYK and RGB are difficult to get a specific number on and 3. Even if you pick the same color, which is easiest to do using the themes, there is still a hairline border between the edge of the border and the edge of the background. I miss when I could just add radius to the border and not have to mess with the background. Update 1:This app was recently updated but the issue with collages remains. When you apply a radius borders the app creates a white layer that makes your border look terrible. There isn’t a solid fill option to fill the White later just patterns and gradients. The new update is a step backwards. The collage maker is not completely functional because you can't get rid of edges with out Mix. The text editor is woefully under powered compared to Fontcandy.
Photoshop again had proven itself to Adobe as something
by DJ Derk Jickface on 2021/04/05 00:54
I’ve been using Adobe‘s photo shop for almost a decade and I got to say, that’s 10 years. Not only do I use adobe Photoshop for my photos. But Ben 10 years . I enjoy it when using the program. I’ve noticed that. But when I’m using a different program than adobe Photoshop, let’s say Google earth… it is such a different experience that I can’t even compare it to Adobe for a shop, and that’s kind of a shame if you don’t think about it really. I got to take a nap. I can’t give it five stars because it’s actually adobe Photoshop and not my cousin anymore .Only the app of which the app is used for what the app was billed for is when I choose to review the app because I use it and that’s true too if you think about it when I was 10 years ago. It seems that adobe Photoshop only feels like a photo editing software as good as Adobe‘s photo shop, only when you’re using Adobe Photoshop. But who’s really to say that any of that is something that happens? Ty Me that’s too.
Love this app
by Lofuel717 on 2019/07/20 02:49
It’s great! Even though I am still slowly learning the ends & outs of everything it has to offer, so far I am all about it! I don’t have a lot of time to sit and work on a photo for a long time very often & with ps express I don’t have to. It’s simple and speedy so I can see good results within a few minutes. You can have a great photo where your smile is perfect but possibly have a few blemishes (or in my case, wrinkles) & with this app you can smooth them away, essentially perfecting your photo. If you have a picture that just needs “something” but you don’t know what it is, you can always use the magic wand & see what this app can do for your picture. I am amazed at a few that I had just about decided to throw away but with one tap they were not only save worthy, they became frame worthy. I highly recommend this app for your photo fixes. There is not anything about it that deserves less than a five star review! All in all a great app!
Amazingly easy photo editing app
by Taxykab on 2020/07/18 03:17
This one of the easiest photo editing apps out there. I’ve tried a few and so far I click with this one, i like how the tools are organized and the tool capabilities match the users skill level: beginner, intermediate and advanced. I’ve even used this on the fly at work when I needed to meet a deadline. Photo was too dark so emailed photo to personal email, edited on phone, emailed back to work email. I would give this app 4 and 3/4 stars if I could because there are a few issues that annoy me. 1) I like the photo collage feature - but developers - LET ME PRINT A COLLAGE TO AN 8x10 photo paper size!!! Some of us old schoolers want to PRINT the collage, not see it online. 2) Developers - increase the # of photos I can add to a collage. 3) Developers - please please please - organize photos like Apple so it is searchable by All/Day/Month/Year. It is a pain to scroll through a year of photos, on my phone, to find/edit the one I want.
My “Go To” Photo Editing App
by OhDiedraDarling on 2019/07/29 21:45
PS Express by Adobe is my main “go to app.” Among the 4 or 5 photo apps I most use, PS Express: is my fav.’ I’d estimate I do 60 to 70% of my photo editing in PS Ex. I recall my incompetence w even basic level Adobe Photoshop those days. Photoshop Pro’s higher functions were so beyond my skill they nearly gave me nightmares. After smart phones w infinite apps came along, I found PS Ex’ a quick learn (suiting my habit of reading user manuals only as a last resort 😬). I see positives even in unpleasant changes when I can. In 2007, a repeat DUI offender forever altered my life by crashing into me head-on at high-speed. Till then, I’d enjoyed a familial gift at photography w little time to feed the skill. That awful crash forced me into a less physical lifestyle. I was thus able to pursue photography enough to be homespun into a photo editing junkie :-). Without PS express, I wouldn’t have developed the skills to feed my interest. I consider taking photo’ classes. Thanks PS Express & Adobe!
The tool for creators on the go!
by KoriThePen on 2021/03/23 19:13
This application is a must-have for any creator working on multiple photos in advance or on the go. It allows you to express precisely what you want quickly and efficiently, which is exactly what the world of social media now demands regularly. Some of the things you can do are limited, but that's the major sacrifice you make when it comes to a more mobile-friendly version of photoshop. You shouldn't expect this to replace all other editing software entirely. Still, it will make your work life more efficient if you sacrifice a bit of perfection for a more manageable workload. Unless your audience is taking a microscope to your photos, I promise they won't be seeing a significant difference. I'd say for those major photoshop projects, definitely use the full photoshop or other complete editing software. Still, for the social media photos that need a bit of work or multi-client small companies who also might be on the move a lot, this is going to be your best friend.
Needed a photo editor that did more than just add filters
by AmandaWaseskuk on 2019/01/06 15:49
This photo editor works great! And so far it is completely free, I have not run into anything that says “premium only” or anything like that. I had access to everything on the app. All you have to do is sign in via Facebook or Google and then you just get to work editing your photos. I had a picture that I took at Christmas that had some red eye, blemishes, and the sun light made a very weird line across my forehead in the picture. I was able to fix all of these things as well as add a great filter, which was hard to choose because they have so many! And it gives you the option to add a little bit of each one instead of just messing with how much of one filter like most ones do. You are completely creatively free in how you choose to edit your photos. I’m glad I downloaded this and will probably use it to fix up most of not all of my photos in the future!
My staple
by Hhxfjmcdh on 2021/05/02 02:48
I’ve been using these Photoshop Expresses for years. I’ve been through 4 progressively newer models of iPads, about to get my 5th, & Photoshop Express has always been my staple. I like to draw & dink around and I mess with photos a lot. I have more than a dozen different photo editors, collage makers, and artsy apps. But still, none have come even close to what Express can do. Enlight is good but not close. The best thing about The Adobe Expresses is that they constantly update and add new features and mini apps to go along with the others. I’ve been thinking for a few weeks now that I wish they had better filters to work pictures that’s available while in Express Fix. Low & behold what do I find as I opened the app, a page showing off all the new filters available. Now I gotta go look at the other new stuff. Wow its almost like Christmas! Oh wait, timings off. 🎄Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays. Now go get Express.
Freelance to Professional
by Leandera Greenwood on 2017/09/20 13:25
This app is absolutely stunning! From allowing you to rotate and transform horizontal axis views ect. from the new update, to color blocking, lighting, and every possible filter and feature in between it is a high recommendation to both beginners and pros alike. I've used this app for about 4 years now and never once had it failed me. To think, I started off as a beginner finding random things to photograph and awkwardly squatting in the supermarket aisle so "the bottles hit the lights just right" to now having my hobby as a career! The biggest shocker is all I have ever used for my photography is a simple iPhone 6 camera.. My pro secret is any camera is the perfect camera with the right editor. The only thing I would like to recommend is layering, like having one filter on and being able to add another ontop of it. But until then, I'll manage by just saving one filter edit to my phone and simply re-editing it.
TERRIBLE BUGS
by KaitlynKaitlyn on 2020/09/14 13:17
I subscribed to Photoshop Express mobile and it’s garbage. It will not confirm my purchase even though I have paid for a month. It will say “Purchase Confirmed. Waiting for feature activation.” with a white background and loading wheel and will stay that way nonstop. I will click purchase again and it will say “Purchasing...” and nothing happens. I will click “Restore purchase” and it will have a “Restoring purchases” message with no change, same loading wheel. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it multiple times and nothing changes, same errors, always. It will ask if I want a 3 day trial even though I am subscribed, and even if I try to confirm that, I get the first “Purchase confirmed. Waiting for feature activation...” message AGAIN. There is nothing that will hey this app to work for me to export edits and use all tools EVEN THOUGH I HAVE PAID. Trying to get help for their “support” is ridiculous. I’ve just been out through the loop multiple times in that regard even. I don’t understand the high ratings because I can’t be the only one with this error. My phone is an XS Max and fully up to date on software. It’s literal GARBAGE for an app.
Bad update
by R. E. L. on 2021/07/03 21:18
I can't figure out how to save to camera roll since the last update.
Great for all enthusiasts
by photosynthesislove on 2020/08/09 00:16
It’s pretty fantastic - I’m runnining it on N iPad Pro with raw files from a 5d mark III and it has no problems at all - I love the mirror effect but I wish it would allow for fuller frame or an option for a rectangular finish - either way it slays the other tablet and phone apps I’ve used in the past to be frank this is the first time I’ve been satisfied with the functionality and creative flexibility in any photo finishing app that I was able/willing to travel for 6 weeks with no computer - the save function “to camera roll” only was my number one complaint on the trip - ne ice to enjoy a batch function for us Lightroom lovers that just need a temp correction for a fbook post - would love to know if that is coming or already available in another app. Bravo any way - super functional easy to use easy to run on this iPad anyway - an imagine on the larger iPad Pro w the 6gb ram it would be starling fast - 3 Cheers =)

I’ve been using Photoshop since 2004 and to say my experience just keeps getting better is an understatement. Picasso said, “everything you can imagine is real.” Photoshop makes this a reality. The are no limits on what you can make in photoshop. The photoshop express app is amazing in that it is jam packed with the best of Photoshop. It even allows you to create double and multiple exposure photos on your phone! The filters are one of my most favorite gifts offered by Photoshop Express because there is such a nice variety of them and bc some are rich in color and tone and others are lighter in color and focus more on the design of the image. If you want a one stop and go no further photo editing app, this one is it. Heck, just read through the other reviews and ask yourself if any other photo editing app has as many statistically good ones as this one does. ✌️
Glitchy
by MezzoMH on 2018/08/16 05:11
I love Photoshop, but recently it’s really glitchy when I am making collages. It stretches the picture when I try to save it to my camera roll, and any text becomes very distorted. I’ve been having to screenshot my collages and crop them from my camera roll. It’s also really glitchy when trying to add text to the collages. It keeps randomly switching the text/themes. It will also randomly undo things I’ve done, and it’s hard to get it back to the way I want it. It sometimes even freezes, and I can’t do anything with it and have to close the app, then go back in to start over. If I could find another app that makes edits as nice as Photoshop, I’d definitely use it instead. It’s just become so frustrating... It takes me at least three times as long to do a collage, just working around the glitches. I haven’t run into any issues while just editing photos, but there are definitely some problems with the collage portion of the app that need to be worked out.
Decent app
by Mrs. Swayze on 2021/03/21 16:44
I like the app and all, however, if I’m paying for a subscription I want to be able to use it on all my platforms. For example I have this on my phone obviously but if I want it on my laptop I have to pay for that too if not a different version of it. Makes editing a bit hard on a cell phone. Especially if you have giant man hands like me. Also, I wish there were more editing options on this app like background removal and different templates. Lately I’m having issues saving my work. It just freezes and I have to close the app and I can’t get the photo saved. I keep checking for an update and there isn’t one. It’s definitely not worth the 30 some bucks a year if you ask me. Maybe if you added Lightroom , and regular photoshop in with it , and allowing the option to some how get the app on my MacBook, I could fathom paying the price! I would also like to be able to delete backgrounds too
Great Achievements

I have nothing bad to say about this photo app because it’s a Great App . I belong to some photo restoration groups on Facebook , and have been given rave reviews on a lot of photos I’ve worked on . I’m always asked what program I use I recommend this app , and they too have great results with repairing and restoring photos for free . We don’t charge anything for the service that we give to our group members , some photos are beyond help but I give them a try to show the person I put time and effort in trying to achieve the results they expect from our group members . The app is easy to use and gives great results - it gives many options and filters to work with . I gave it a Five Star rating , because I really like it and you will not be disappointed in downloading and using it . And look into the new updated Versions of PhotoShop .
Great but could easily be greater...

Currently has a few bugs and glitches, especially as it correlates with your photos library and it’s own saves etc. A few other little features would make this a stellar app, like being able to isolate (maybe by drawing a lasso tool) in order to perform edits on particular areas of the photo, dial in specific colors in HSL and to edit/composite a few layers would be super! Also, to simultaneously apply filters, like HDR & White Balance, and “Looks” etc. All in all, I’m very grateful for the app and find it really helps do what Photos simply cannot. Ps. Would love to subscribe, but being we’re a non-profit w/ limited resources for marketing and communications, adding 9.99 a month for something we’ll only publish or use a couple times a month (as we haven’t dedicated staff for it) is a tad steep. It’s not that 9.99 breaks the bank, but when added to the total tech & communications budget it adds up 😅
So close to being super useful...just misses the mark.
by badchicken987 on 2019/07/05 16:42
I downloaded this app with the expectation that it would be as useful both for my art business as a way to make quick composites of my stock and, personally to make cute collages of my son. The inability to manually manipulate the shape, placement, and size of each photo makes it extremely frustrating to use. Say nothing of the fact that you can’t adjust the image to fit in the window. Honestly, it’s faster and less frustrating for me to just get out the laptop when I want to make a collage. There are several (albeit less reputable) websites where it’s also easier. That said, the photo editor is fun and I appreciate the variety of formatting for the collage background, so that you can be sure your work will show correctly on Insta or Facebook. Just not what I expected from Photoshop🤷🏻‍♀️
Puts limits on files
by CleverNameGoesHere on 2019/09/03 20:53
Pictures I edit using this app and then save to my camera roll are unable to be seen by other apps. For example, I edit a picture & save to my camera roll, then open Snapchat to post it and the picture isn’t there. All other pictures appear except ones that I’ve edited using this app. (The problem isn’t limited to Snapchat, that’s just an example!) The pictures are visible in my camera roll in the built in iOS Photos but not if I’m viewing the iOS camera roll from a different app. There is absolutely no support for this app. None. I tried for hours to get someone to help me solve the problem of the disappearing photos and all they would tell me is to go to the forums... and if you’ve been to the forums you know how unhelpful they are. I know it’s a free app but if you’re going to put restrictions on photos you need to be upfront about it. I’ve paid for various things to be unlocked in the past but all of those are lost because everything is now free and yet I can no longer post or share the photos I’ve edited to the media I want. What a joke.
Awesome even for Amateur
by Mc12062011 on 2018/10/25 15:38
Unfortunately I don’t know much about photography, and I’m also a beginner artist. I needed to edit a photo for both clarity and color of a cat. I’m working with colored pencils which is especially challenging. This app has so many options! Even as an amateur, I was able to play around with the options to make my photo easier to use as my reference. I still have a lot to learn on taking photos that show detailed fur, but this app really gave me something I could work with. My cat is an orange tabby and I was able to get colors that closer matched her actual tint. I was also able to save it to my photo roll so I have both original (although this app does state that original is never lost) and the edited version. It will accomplish more than I will ever comprehend so I think both experienced and novices will find this app very helpful.

Update Ruined it
by Steve5938262 on 2021/07/05 21:01

I might as well just keep using Procreate for that.

by feloniouspunk70 on 2021/06/30 17:26
I wasn’t paying attention.
I hate it.

These old corporate tactics don’t work anymore, you’ll drive your business to shambles.
Which means I use this app on my iPad too, because the “full” photoshop app still doesnt, two years after Adobe promised it.

by Aubrie Midori on 2021/06/26 00:00
Adobe announced it was discontinuing PS fix and mix and that the features would be integrated into PS express.

Wasted time
by bruhguy4 on 2021/06/25 00:24
I’ve always been a content user of Adobe’s Photoshop.

No problems.

by Evelia Contreras on 2021/06/23 08:45

Honestly
by Tintek on 2018/10/21 18:55
Easily a 5 Star app if not for adobe’s constant angling for more money and more user data, updates that reduce functionality and unexpectedly lock you out of the app just so they can demand your email address in order to track and market to you.

Bug with Recent updates (~2mo's ago)
by Bwa236 on 2019/04/09 05:21
I held off writing a review because I hoped Adobe would fix this problem.
Great for all enthusiasts

Decent app

Not a fan of merged app
