Great app
by Claire O'Hair on 2019/05/25 00:52
Ok soooo... I’ve been using this and it is AMAZING! But it’s not as good as Apple Music, I can explain it because... Pandora is better than Apple Music but this app is better than Pandora soooo... yeah.
Worked okay before, now terrible.
by Jnosnikta on 2019/05/24 23:33
I listen to a Los Angeles radio station on the app that I can’t listen to anymore locally since I live in New Hampshire. It’s always been a bit glitchy. Yesterday I couldn’t listen to anything but the same commercial over and over agin, and today, while I could listen to some of the the segments of the show, it started playing commercials in the middle of the segments. This afternoon I tried to submit a “contact us” query and can’t get that to go through. I guess if you want to pay for the premium app this might go away, but I am a bit disappointed that I may have to now pay to listen to a station that plays commercials to begin with.

Pales to iPhone Podcasts
by TJTackleberry on 2019/05/24 22:25
Just tried the podcast function on this app and noticed a disappointing feature - when I shut off the car stereo or switch to the radio (in the car stereo) and come back to the podcast, the stereo starts playing default music from the iPod. When I use the Podcast feature by iPhone or am playing music from the iPod and do the same thing, when I come back it picks up exactly where I left off with me not having to do anything. For the podcast function in iHeartRadio, I’ve got to reopen the app and select it manually. Not the best option when our state just passed a very restrictive no cell phone use law. There’s a button on my steering wheel that I just have to hit until I get to what output I want and don’t have to touch the phone.
It is a very good app

by DC Wallen on 2019/05/24 22:01

Works great with my iPhone 6 , works with little to no signal, I like that they are working putting new music and upcoming artists The only thing missing is an offline option
$ more important than listeners
by Elktrks on 2019/05/24 17:59
I love the idea behind iHeatradio because I get to listen to the stations I like, but I literally have ran (I listen when running) 1.5 miles without hearing a single song....JUST COMMERCIALS! Talk about letting the air out of your sails, try doing an exercise with motivation, only to have the motivation be all about paying the bills..I.e. commercials. Saying “now another hour of your favorite music” only to heat at least one commercial between two songs & then a 10-15 minute street has of solid commercials...UGGGGGGGGGH! So now I’m forced to listen to either music on my phone or Amazon music. Hey iHeart....try spreading out the commercials instead of hammering them all at once...just a suggestion. As for recommendations...I DO NOT RECOMMEND iHeartradio for the above very reason. Until it’s resolved...too-da-loo!
Why ?
by piratical1 on 2019/05/24 17:09
Why do I pay for ad free service but I am receiving them anyway?

It works really good and I love. This App works really good with ESPN stations.
Not perfect
by Bman fan on 2019/05/24 16:48
I like listening to KFI on the app. What I noticed is that part of the news gets cut off with iHeart app commercials. Really annoying!!!

by Albreito on 2019/05/24 15:24
Now on my iphone your app just stops working if it wants to dosent stay on my lock screen your ads keep screwing up my songs u advertise add free listening and every ten min is another ad that just messes up my phone and wont let stuff play unless i pause and un pause it to make your stupid ads pop up
App constantly stops after playing one or two songs from a selected artist
by Foxy RoxZ on 2019/05/24 15:16
Have had this app for quite a wile. Not sure what happened. Very disappointed. Have defeated and reloaded the app several times with the same results. Very frustrated.
Great music streaming, little personal input
by larenfoody on 2019/05/24 14:41
I am very pleased with the genres and variety iHeart plays. I really like that you can search a specific artist and then get many songs of the same genre but not necessarily the same artist. My only complaint is that if you want to replay or play a specific song, you have to pay for it. Paying for ad-free listening and creating playlists is one thing, but simple services like replay or song choice I think should be free.
Sneaky

Don’t Download for Streaming
by Licia819 on 2019/05/24 10:07
I have listened to Z100 for 20 years and I hate that fact how much it has changed. It’s a 4 hour show that when you listen to the podcast, you are only getting 2 hours of content. The remainder is commercials and Ariana Grande or some other poppy song that will play on repeat. It’s really sad that they water down such a great show just for commercial money. It also has no memory to the station. Every morning it will have a station I would never listen to appear and I have to start the whole search process again. It’s just a shame how much this company is ruining a great show.

Handy App
by LoveTheUpdate(: on 2019/05/24 05:07
this app comes in hand when you want to get caught up with the newest music when it’s released, also keeps you very updated when it comes to music related news.
Give it 5 stars..... but.......

Wish I could do more with the free part
My favorite by far
by ActuallyARealReveiwer on 2019/05/24 04:16
I have used this and pandora but iHeartRadio is far more superior. I have used in since not long after it was released on the App Store and I do not regret it. The only problem I have with it is that you have to pay to do a couple things that you could do before but it is not a big deal. You get 6 free skips a day without it and once you use the app for a week or so, you tend to rarely use them because it automatically adjusts to play more music that is similar to the ones you hit the like button on. I love it and I will never stop using it.

Not satisfied
by Jb1legend on 2019/05/23 22:55
iHeart insists on shoving pod casts down our throats. Also when I’m on my favorites channel songs are thrown in way outside my selected tracks and musical tastes. Even after a thumbs down.

If only there were negative stars...
by fabesmeister on 2019/05/23 19:40
Maybe the worst application out there. If the app isn’t skipping from podcast episodes randomly, it is not working while using it then apps. Impossible to continue a podcast where I left off and I particularly enjoy their upgraded service which doesn’t really do anything, whose strategic location allows you to sign up by mistake. The app freezes and needs to be restarted often, and the saved podcasts don’t necessarily work offline either. The only reason why this app is still in use is because of the captive audience based on the existing radio programs affiliated to this company. For a conglomerate, this company should be expected to do better in the 21st century.
Unauthorized charges
by Minnesotaitoonz on 2019/05/23 19:10
I found out today I’ve been paying a monthly charge for subscription to IHeartRadio that automatically renews. I NEVER would have signed up since I haven’t been using the service in months. So... your app must have “tricked” me into signing up when I had no intent to!! I’ve deleted your lousy app.
Ads
by Kuroyukihime6 on 2019/05/23 19:00
So the ads before podcast are a thing now, and the buffering is killing my listening to a radio stream.
Crashing
by lckdldb on 2019/05/23 17:56
For the past few months the app constantly crashes like sporadically when I’m listening to podcasts. I wasn’t going to say anything, but I see the iHeartRadio is now the best app for podcasts so I thought I’d share bc i completely disagree.
Podcast listening is awful
by Steiny70 on 2019/05/23 17:29
A radio station I listen to switched where they put their podcasts to IHeart and lHeart’s podcast format is not very user friendly. There isn’t a skip forward or backward function unless you’re in the app. If I tap my pause button on my headphones, my headphones start playing music... Spotify and Apple have far superior podcast ability
Please Stop cutting off the news to run commercials
by Jodi Roth on 2019/05/23 16:21
I use the iHeart app every single day. It’s the only source I use to get updates on the news. It’s very frustrating when KFI begins the news break and within 15 seconds the news is cut off with back to back commercials.
iOS 12 issues?
by mcbgrad on 2019/05/23 15:44
App wouldn’t open after latest update, restarted phone to no avail. Removed and reloaded the app but now I no longer have access to my playlist because I have to redownload it when on WiFi or use a ton of data that I do not have. A little notice would have been nice so I could have done this when I had WiFi available.

Deceptive advertising with
by Towingsolutions on 2019/05/23 14:57
In the free version Multiple times has the ad for the paid subscription pop up with the thumb print preloaded to confirm and I got stuck paying for a month of service. Reverting back requires logging into ITunes and unsubscribing. While in subscription mode, you would think the pop ups stop... nope, beware of podcast pop ups that you don’t want. Accidentally bump it while listening to your favorite tune and your deep into some political agenda discussion. When this unwanted subscription is over, the app is getting deleted.

I appreciate having access to so many radio stations
Constant pausing and searching for signal
by irirsheyes66 on 2019/05/23 12:30
The options for stations is good. I enjoy the weekly mixed tape. I don’t like the fact that it is always searching for signal whether using WiFi or cellular data to connect.
Disappointed
by BlueBirdx39 on 2019/05/23 12:20
I have been listening to iHeartRadio free app for many years but recently I was somehow added to their pay subscription through iTunes. I never wanted this. This leaves me disappointed.

Stop forcing things on me
by Sydneyiscoolx on 2019/05/23 12:04
I’m about to download a separate radio and podcast app. This app forces me to follow/download podcasts I don’t care about. I accidentally bought the $5 monthly subscription I didn’t want because that forced its way up on my screen while I was pressing the home button. This app is too pushy.
Recent update is garbage
by Stryker123456789 on 2019/05/23 10:49
Most recent update has removed the app while it’s running from my screen so it’s impossible to pause or skip songs without going back into the app. That’s hot garbage
Worked great then stopped
by ncw37 on 2019/05/23 08:56
All the stations are jumbled and playing songs over each other. Have no idea why this hasn’t been fixed. Listening to one station with dj’s talking, and playing two different songs at the same time now. All of them are doing it. Quality control fail for at least two weeks. Deleting app. Too many others out there.
Unhappy
by tired of money grubbers on 2019/05/23 05:04
I liked IHeart at first but I cannot delete any songs from my play list without upgrading and paying more money. I should be able to delete songs if I change my mind about them. Seems like I am gonna cancel my subscription because I should be able to delete songs I don’t want on my playlist

Weird problems
by Kingbobo24 on 2019/05/22 23:52
I use this app to listen to KFI AM 640 and sometimes in the middle of people talking, it will just cut to a random commercial goes back to the talking but with a big chunk of time missing. Usually puts me back into the broadcast then puts my back into a commercial. Another issue is that it won’t connect to any station. I have to crash the app out multiple times then it works. Could be great but these weird issues make me give it a 1 Star Review.
Could be better.
by Empie9901 on 2019/05/22 21:29
Why can’t I add podcasts to playlists? If I could, then I could put them on my Garmin. Website told me to get premium so that I can transfer playlists to my watch, but that turned out to be useless.

For the last several months this has lots of long breaks of dead silence and continued repeating the same news reports over and over
lousy & getting worse
by entitymike on 2019/05/22 03:08
Been listening to one news channel these past few years. The commercial breaks are terrible. Right when they’re going from the program to news headlines, commercials interrupt. And then commercials overlap & interrupt again. Cut off half way through. They promote free podcasts & free app but you suffer & pay the price having to listen to their mind numbing advertisers.
The worst app
by Transmaster on 2019/05/22 02:25
The ad’s are obnoxious. Now they are blocking local news reports on KFI. Than there are the pop overs trying to get you to subscribe. A microscopic “x” to close the popover and if you get into the main popover you are subscribed. I realize iHeart is bankrupt and needs all of the money they can get their hands on but these crap pop over are crap I will not tolerate. Today it was some sort ad video add they would not stop. Screw it I am deleting this crap app. Call Apple and they said it was a 3rd party app and there eas not much about it. The is true it is a third rate app.

Not like the Windows App...
by apbeilchick on 2019/05/21 19:29
Why can’t I get the same experience as the Windows app on the iPhone? I am able to select a station and scan to other similar genre stations. I have to go pick individual stations when I want to change it up if I don’t like the current song or there are long running commercials. It’s the radio for heavens sake. I should be able to easily get to the next station easily on the iPhone. I’m surprised the feature set on the Windows app is so much more than the iPhone. You might want to sync up your development and marketing teams and deliver a similar user experience across all platforms. This is pathetic especially when most of your users should be on a mobile device. I shouldn’t have to pay for plus to get more features that I can get on other platforms. Updated on 5/21/2019: now this app is not available for the Mac. Come on iHeartRadio, If I can use it on my iPhone, I should be able to use it on my Mac. Can I rate iHeartRadio as zero stars?
Buggy
by Grimmace420 on 2019/05/21 19:04
This app is super buggy, ads pop in for no good reason, and often it will just get stuck on 30 second loops, Plays about 30 seconds of a program, then pauses and buffers and then goes back to the beginning of the 30 second program. It did this for a straight 25 minutes because I just wanted to see how long it would go and after that I shut it off and was not able to catch the end of the show I was listening to.

Was the best...now commercial driven
by Cstill299 on 2019/05/21 17:18
Even without the premium access this was my go to radio app but something changed very recently and a commercial plays in between EVERY SONG! The radio doesn’t even do that! Come on iHeartRadio...music over money...give us a break with the excessive advertising. Please. I don’t want all of my years of iHeartRadio listening to come to an end.
Misleading
by fabfredd on 2019/05/21 17:00
Several of the podcasts are not even available. They represent them as choices to listen to, but then when you click on them you receive a message about the podcast being unavailable for download because the podcaster has reached there daily bandwidth allowance. You shouldn’t mislead your customers with choices we obviously can not make!!!! 🤬🤬🤬

Why the change??
by AZNboys on 2019/05/21 15:40
Update: this issue seemed to be fixed for several months. Sadly, we are back to doubled up ads. I’m missing the news on the NEWS station (KFI in Cali. Bill Handel morning show) So frustrating. Just play a normal supply of ads. Quit impeding on the actual radio show! I listen to a news/talk station that’s out of state. The last few weeks, iHeart has started playing extra commercials during the news updates. Stop it! Play the regular commercials like normal. Why are you adding commercials when they break for news? It’s a news station and I miss the news now. Makes no sense. So disappointing. I used to love iHeart but they are doubling up on advertising and you miss the radio programming. What a shame.
Was great on Windows Phone, new web app version six
by Nominally Normal on 2017/12/10 18:10
Loved this app on my Windows Phone, installed it when I was forced to switch to iPhone (which has been an inferior user experience in almost every way - it can’t even do autocorrect as well as the WP, but I digress), and it was pretty similar throughout the fall of 2017... logged in today, December, to find everything changed. I can’t figure out how to get to my favorite artist-based station (can find artist in search, but there doesn’t seem to be a station option anymore?) can’t find the Recently Played Songs list once I’m playing a station. It’s fine to change things, but not in such an extreme way that it appears so nonsensical to even fairly on-top-of-things users that they can’t easily find the features that are important to them. I don’t know if it was a web app before, but it must be because I don’t recall downloading an update and everything is just a little off, not polished and smooth like a native app would be. I expected that sort of thing on a minority platform like WP, but it’s really disappointing to have a worse experience on a brand new iPhone. Anyway, this app is in need of some major organizing/UI changes before it can match the user experience of previous versions. If I have to put in hours curating my stations (which looks like the direction this is going), as opposed to having a variety of stations that are good, just need minor tweaks to be great, I’d might as well use Pandora!
iHeartRadio
by toddster70 on 2018/02/04 11:50
I would have given it a five star BC I simply love being too listen to my home rock station when I'm working BC I work out of town most of time. But for some crazy reason lately it has started at 100% volume, even just now I got a head start on it and began working it down to about 60 % for it just to jump right back full blast even though I was holding down on volume button. Now I really can't explain how out why it would be turning down and almost to the half mark just for it to jump to the full volume while I'm still holding on the volume but this is not some thing that I can take or tolerate at 615 am nor will my boss's or work mates at this time in the morning and hell it could give some one a heart attack when u go from nor hearing a thing where a needle could be able to be heard hitting the floor. But you could say every one is awake today after this Bluetooth box going off. Please let me know what could and out can be done and if it's anything to do on my part in really sorry for not given the extra star but I had the volume working down for it to start over. Thanks and please have this fixed or fixed for me. Have no complaints about anything else so everyone download this app and listen to your favorite tubes so day and all the time for free.
Subscription is too expensive
by StotkaGirls on 2018/10/06 03:55
Almost but not quite 5🌟, would have kept my monthly subscription but it’s way too costly. For just radio I thought, but considering it’s only $15 or so it’s not that bad. It would be great for a disc jockey (DJ) or a wedding event you can actually set up your own play lists so it can just continue playing continuously. Unless you feel the need to have the DJ interact with you like your in a pub or event to interact with the crowd. I’m sure that if you had issues to where you didn’t have a DJ show up for work then this would work for most small town or small scale clubs that’s holding only 50/75 people or so. I will say that most of the time I am able to find just about anything I want to listen when I had the subscription. And I didn’t have to listen to commercials. It’s really nice cause if you are a big music fan who buys a lot of tracks per month then I would just personally purchase a subscription to the iHeartRadio app. It’s just that cool. But being that I don’t buy that much music and I just couldn’t see spending that kind of money per month.
Good App (Usually...)
by Rosemaryadventure23 on 2018/01/05 02:52
Edit: It seems like all of the other problems I list below are gone now, due to the fact that I can’t get the app to play ANY music now. None of my stations work, they all constantly have a loading symbol, and where the artist’s other songs/info are, it says, “Artist Profile is not available at this time”. The app is completely useless to me at this point because it doesn’t do anything, and this started today only a few hours ago. This can’t be a phone problem because I have the latest iOS on a brand new iPhone 8. I’m hoping this will be fixed soon. I've used this app for a few years, and I've discovered many new artists and songs through this app. However, I've been experiencing a few problems lately. My biggest problem is that sometimes the app will refresh in the middle of a song, and not just pause it, but get rid of the song completely. I'm not sure if I can fix this in my phone settings or if it's an app issue, but this has never happened before. Another issue is that some ads with sound play at the same time as a song, which is obviously annoying. Overall, it is a good app and does what it promises, but with a few bugs.
WOW
by Darbie+doo on 2019/04/27 05:00
I first got a iHeartRadio as a free app when I first got my mobile device. It was free it was fun and the music was good because I could listen to it anywhere. That was about three years ago, now so much of the free things have been replaced by paid services that if I want to change anything that I had set up three years ago I can’t do it unless I pay them their fees to change anything on my accounts. You really have to love progress. On top of that because my mobile device is constantly logged on it doesn’t recognize the passwords I set up before they changed their site so now when I go to login online to try and change things it doesn’t recognize me. It’s a blast trying to reset my passwords and prove I’m not a freaking robot, great job iHeartRadio. I think it’s pretty funny that I have to prove I’m not a robot to reset my password but they can send automated email responses to folks. I’ve had these kind of problems before and they’ll send a generated email that says hey look up these corresponding posts on the forums to see if they match your problems. It’s all fun and games until the autistic guy wants to talk to a person then everybody hides behind a computer screen, if you find this funny awesome, if you don’t, fix it. It’s just one guys opinion.
To download or Not to d/l ?
by cbry1188 on 2018/05/23 19:58
I was going to dl the iheartradio Free app & thought I would check out the reviews before doing so. I was quite intrigued by the various array of issues that people pointed out, so I kept reading... first few reviews, I saw the response to the Reviewer’s issues by iheartradio was that they wanted to resolve whatever issues they were having & to please contact (email) them, so they can further address the problem(s). I thought, “Wow, they really do want to make sure that the problem is resolved for that person & seem to be taking that extra step in doing so.” Then I kept reading....I would have to say that each & every review that I read, the response was always the same , “pls contact (email) us, so that we can look into this issue and help you resolve it. “ Then I realized, why wouldn’t they address the issue or at least write down a foot note to the review, addressing the outcome & HOW it was corrected!!! I decided NOT to dl the app at this time bc I’m not if all the issues written about were ADDRESSED & CORRECTED ?? It’s great that you guys address the concerns and ask people to contact you for help -but how about letting the rest of us reading the reviews know how things turned out? Were the issues corrected & MORE IMPORTANTLY, How??
Tricked into automatically enrolling.
by Buckeye chris on 2018/09/15 16:05
I’ll start by saying I love the IHeartRadio app. I’ve been using it for almost 10 years now. It’s great because I travel for work and when in my truck in areas where there’s no local stations I can still have music. Plus I love all the podcasts. For instance I listen to the Alan Cox show that’s airs in Cleveland Ohio. They have all the shows from the past year so even if I miss a day or two I can go back and listen. However yesterday when I opened the app I had a popup window asking me to subscribe to a monthly trial. I tried to close the window and it automatically enrolled me in monthly subscriptions. I’m amazed apps can even get away with this. You basically tricked me into getting the subscription. You took advantage of the in-app purchase and since I have touch ID enabled there’s no way to avoid it. Judging by the reviews and the post on the Apple forums this is happening to a lot of people. I was able to contact Apple and let them know what was going on and have the charges blocked. I shouldn’t have had to go through this process at all. I feel bad for all the people that aren’t going to realize it happened and be billed. If this happens again I will delete this app.
Way too easy to accidentally subscribe
by brappleye3 on 2018/10/15 16:44
I haven't minded the iHeartRadio app and service and it generally works very well and it’s easy to use. However... I was listening to the radio while riding my bike recently, and pulled my phone out to change the station I was listening to, and somehow managed to accidentally subscribe to the “Plus” service while attempting to lock my phone after. Sorry, it shouldn’t be this easy to subscribe to your paid services, or if it is, it needs to be easier to reverse it immediately so I don’t have to live with a subscription/charges I don’t care to have. I didn’t bother to call Apple to have the charge removed since it seemed like a hassle hardly worth $6. I was able to discontinue the subscription in my Apple account so I won’t get recurring charges. It’s just frustrating that I managed to buy something I didn’t intend to. It should require a few steps to get to the purchase, especially for a recurring subscription! If it manages to happen again, you can bet I will stop using this app and find a different way to stream the stations I listen to.
American Top 40 with Casey Kasem!
by wxntrafficfan on 2018/08/14 18:38
Back when I had my car, I was paying $30/month for Sirius XM expressly for the purpose of listening to one Casey Kasem show each week. Someone on Facebook had suggested that I login to iHeartRadio and simply search “Casey Kasem”, and I found a channel that streams just American Top 40 shows from the 70s and 80s 24/7! Being only 25, I was never able to listen to his shows live, and Casey had passed just as I started getting into his shows in 2014. I had previously only kept iHeartRadio on my iPhone and iPad to be able to stream a station out of Grand Rapids, Michigan in November and December each year when they switch to Christmas music. Needless to say, I stream American Top 40 through iHeartRadio at least 1-2 hours a day, and often listen to it for extended periods while at work. Thank you iHeartRadio for making it possible for me to listen to an icon I didn’t get to know until it was too late.
The app slows everything down and even stops internet connection
by Jesuslovesme4ever on 2018/09/18 08:09
I wanted to like IHeart Radio but every time, I download the app (which I have downloaded and re downloaded multiple times), it significantly slows my internet connection or even stops it. It also takes forever to load one song on the app and much can't be done on the app when a song is buffering. I even tried closing apps and deleting one or two apps and the app still slows everything down- a lot or even stops apps and the internet all together. Every time, I download the app, the internet stops working and as soon as I delete the app, everything on my phone works normally and fast again. I like that there is a decent selection to choose from (although it seems like Apple Music and Google Play have more variety in music) and the radio station selection is awesome. This app would be great if only the app didn't slow things down. I really wish this app worked. If only it were fast and didn't halt internet connection. I've never had these problems with any other music streaming app.
Unable to download podcasts for the last week
by 837394Hal on 2019/02/03 23:38
I love the app and I never leave a review on things. I’m reporting an issue. It was a little over a week ago. An update was sent out. Now I’m not able to download any podcasts. I’m forced to stream them only. It just keeps popping up with the message “unable to download” it repeatedly pops up ever couple seconds. I’ve checked to ensure I have given the app proper permissions. Please fix this issue. I get that I can’t download music or other things. Since I’m not a paying sub. As a free user I can only download podcasts. Which is good for me. I’ve always downloaded the Elvis Duran and the morning show. Along with three other Elvis Duran related shows. We really need the issue fixed, because it’s making me go over my data. I just got a text about being close to my 22.5 gig limit. I checked to see what is using my data. IHeartRadio has used 7 gigs in the last week. That’s because it’s fully loading the episode every single time I open up to listen. I will be forced to not use the app if this isn’t fixed. I will find something different. Love you all so please!!
App on repeat
by KyngEclipse on 2019/03/30 19:50
I do enjoy using the app every morning to get my daily dose of radio. However, lately it’s like the app has been on repeat. I know there’s a delay from the live radio broadcast, but why are the conversations starting over. In the middle of the conversations it goes silent for a few seconds and then the conversations start over from a certain point and it does this repeatedly for about 15-20 minutes. Sometimes it corrects itself but today it’s really gotten out of hand, I’ve missed over half of the live content because the first 30 seconds have been on constant repeat. It’s becoming annoying and makes me want to look towards other internet radio providers because it’s becoming too much to deal with now. *Update* Decided to come back and drop the rating due to the “help” that was offered from the developers. Why am I being asked for so much info that they should already have and also be asked to do this and that repeatedly when I already told the support team what was done to try and correct the issue. Dealing with support for this past week has been no help at all.
Preffered over Pandora
by Moe The Messenger on 2017/12/23 11:48
I have used this app for about 3 years was pleased with the free version. I’ve seen it updated & pay for it to open up a few more features to find songs, some I can & some I can’t, but I pay the $5.99/month to repeat a single song once & some very limited song searching. I believed this app is good because I can mix genres of music & it’s intuitive enough to know when I need my gospel/Christian playlist vs. the other artists/songs that I’ve like in the past. It also offers suggestions & it doesn’t appear to be so commercialized, I repeat NOT a commercial distribution list of who you are forced to like. Some of my local/Independent artists have songs that I’m able to find. I’m thankful for that. I’m not an iTunes type of person. I hate I lost ALL of my music after switching from an iPhone 4 to iPhone 6s. It made my day to hear my own music that aren’t published on iTunes, so I’m glad to at least be able to search for the ones that I once had on here.
I love the content, but not the updates
by Sammich12 on 2017/12/17 22:34
I first got iHeartRadio on my old ipod on ios6 and I loved it. They had a setting where I could explore music or listen to mostly the same stuff. They did away with that and I miss it. Since then they’ve made the sleep timer harder to access, and everytime I open the app I’m baraged with an ad to try to upgrade to a paid version. I don’ mind seeing that maybe once a week, but I’m using other apps more because I get this annoying self add every time I open the app. It’s also harder to find the most recent radio stations I listen to. It keeps getting harder and harder with the new updates. Lastly, I love the play on start-up feature, but lately it doesn’t work (even when turned on in the settings) probably because of the ad I have to close out of. I’ve dug out my old ipod and I now mostly listen to iHeartRadio from that with whatever version ios6 can handle
Good but could be better
by RyanDred on 2017/11/16 01:15
Honestly, this app is better than pandora. However, my main two issues with it are the dislike feature and the song selections when you choose a specific band or artist. 1. Dislike feature: The problem with it is that if you click the dislike button on a song, that same song will keep coming back later until you’ve disliked it 3-4 times. Then after about a month it’ll come back again 2. Band/artist song selection: My major issues with this feature is that when you choose a band you want to listen to, the app will play almost anything but that band/artist. For example, if you choose fallout boy the app will play a fallout boy song once in every ten songs or so. Therefore what is the point in being able to select an artist. Now I’m not saying I don’t want to hear things outside of the band/artist I have chosen, however, it would be nice to hear the chosen band/artist at least every other song or so.
Subscription
by Funbro1 on 2018/09/19 10:53
I was charged $5.99 for a subscription that I was “tricked” into signing up for. I canceled the subscription within minutes of discovering that I had signed up for it, but ended up being charged anyway. I went to the online help on the iHeartRadio app to verify that my subscription was canceled and there is no unsubscribe button to hit. I then emailed iHeartRadio and received this response. “iHeartRadio Customer Support does not internally handle subscriptions processed through Apple. However, if you need to cancel your subscription, you can do so by following the procedure below:” I folloedthe procedure “below” only to get to a dead end. I sure hope I don’t get charged again, I guess I will have to open up a dispute through my credit card company at this point. In the future I will be very very careful what buttons that I tap. It’s a shame that the app gets updated and changes around so much that it is unfamiliar if you don’t use it every single day. Through the many updates I have also lost my favorite stations and my saved stations, and it gets really frustrating.
iHeart Radio App for iPhone 7
by HnTresS on 2019/03/08 22:52
I have been listening to the music on this app for over a week now and I can't enough of it. They made it easy to navigate with great features. It works for me and I haven't experienced any problems as of yet. I think that this app is awesome and I usually don't write many reviews on things unless it's worth my time. Besides there is an app for everything now a days to sit there and rate them all when you download or use them would take a while, at least in my case. I recommend iHeart Radio for those of you who love music without tons of commercial breaks. Thanks iHeart Radio and keep up the good work. So far you have a really great thing going for you and I hope that it doesn't change to much over time with a bunch of pointless improvements or updates that aren't necessary to the users or listeners.
Used to work better
by OriginalDino on 2017/11/28 19:57
Before the last update, iHeartRadio would resume the last station I was listening to when it connected with my car’s bluetooth. After the previous update, I started having to hit the channel down button on my steering wheel to get it to start playing. Fine, whatever. But since the last update even that no longer works; I have to open the app and manually tap the specific station I want. Every. Single. Time. Also, since the last update, every time I start the station, I get a 30-second video ad. Uh, a VIDEO ad, on iHeart RADIO? Seems a bit self-defeating, especially since many of the video ads have no audio indication of what they are advertising. So I’ve just learned to turn the audio down to zero when first starting, until the word ADVERTISEMENT goes away from my radio display. I tried iHeartAuto once, thinking to would be better suited to what I wanted, but that app was completely hopeless.
Radio is still king
by DisneyLouisiana on 2019/01/23 05:59
I love radio and I mean real radio. IHeartRadio definitely fills my plate with what I love. I traveled for work and found great stations and shows that I continue listening to. It’s great to tune into a station from home when I’m hundreds of miles away and listening to what’s going on in my local area. They also have great streaming stations and the “Mixtape” is awesome. I didn’t give it five stars because after years with stock radios my wife got me a JVC stereo for my truck which had this awesome iHeartRadio feature. After multiple tries of connecting I went to the iHeartRadio support and the feature is no longer supported by iHeartRadio. I know I can just listen to it through usb or Bluetooth but I was looking forward to this feature on my new radio. Now I noticed that they have IHeartRadio “Auto” app. So now I have to have two apps ?? I actually pay for this one and I’m thinking of stopping because it’s a little frustrating.
In A World Where Danger Is Everywhere...
by Pastorlarry on 2018/11/07 19:10
I was a subscriber to a popular satellite radio company who shall remain nameless. 🤔🤷‍♂️😂 Well, I found myself in between jobs and needing to find a way to stay caught up on what was going on in the worlds of sports, current world events, and the like. I had downloaded the iHeart Radio iPhone application a few years ago, but I never used it. Actually, I had forgotten about it due to the metal plate in my head negatively reacting to the use of my microwave when preparing my burritos. (My bowels would release and I would forget who I was for about an hour or so.) Anyway, I decided to utilize the application so as to experiment with and experience the full effects of the frequently promoted pleasure of said application. I must say that I was quite amazed at the vast and diverse selections at my fingertips! I am very thankful for the opportunity to listen to my favourite programs! I give this application 4 stars due to the excellence in which they approach this stubborn, never say die medium known as ”Radio.” Download it now and find out what you are missing! Also, if you too have a metal plate in your head, your reception will increase by at least 80%! iHeart radio and unlimited data...it is like heaven on earth, it is like Ireland without the pipe bombs. It is 🎯💯 GOLD!
Don’t waste your money
by Lilmama88888888 on 2018/02/06 14:59
This app isn’t even worth downloading the free version, definitely don’t throw your money away for the paid version. 30% of the time I can’t get anything to load on here. When I actually can get it to work, it takes about 3 minutes to load. It rarely remembers where I left off on the podcasts. For example, right now, when it started up, after 3 minutes of waiting, it started playing a podcast I had already listened to. I kept trying to go to the Podcast I had already listened to about half of. The circle around the play button would go around and around for about 4 minutes and then it would go back to the previous podcast. After about 8 tried and wasting 20 minutes, it finally played the one I wanted, but started back over at the beginning, I had to spend another 5 minutes figuring out where I left off. There are so many other places to listen to music and podcasts, go elsewhere, unless you like constantly wasting 20 minutes of your day waiting for things to load.
I do love the radio options
by Cherie Fairy on 2018/08/09 06:06
Although there are a few things I feel that could be better. I feel like skipping songs shouldn’t be an exclusive thing only paid membership people can do an unlimited amount of times, cause on the radio station that is titled my name’s favorites, a lot of stuff is mixed in there that I don’t actually listen to. And also, despite giving them the thumbs down, they reappear again. What’s the point of giving that song a thumbs down if it’s just going to show up again? I know I’m nitpicky, but these are things I feel that could make the experience better for the users that can not afford a membership or a subscription. Cause right now I cannot work and I wanna listen to music how I want to...and that’s skipping over stuff I don’t like to get to what I do like.
So many new problem
by Clarence kidney420 on 2018/10/06 19:23
Since the last update the app has been going crazy I pay monthly every month and it switches songs in the middle of listening to a song volume goes up and down like crazy and you can never find a number to talk to a person it makes me not want to pay with card monthly fee tried the free one does the same thing I would’ve given five stars but the new update messed it all up. They just keep saying it’s going to be fixed by their developers but they are not fixing it it has been almost 2 months paying $15 a month and they still have not even change thing and the only thing that they said was that they were working on it it’s all bull they don’t care about the people paying money the only way to get in touch with them is by email don’t waste your money they are as stupid as most people are these days horrible customer service maybe if they fix my radio station correctly I will give them a better review to be continued ?
App Issue
by Fjohn52 on 2019/02/28 14:31
For the third time, the app has gotten me to sign up for the $5.99 monthly version when I didn’t intend to. This didn’t happen ever until a couple of months ago. I pick up the phone to turn in the app and it asks for my thumbprint. Odd, but I do it. Then it says thanks for for subscription. There is no easy way to correct the mistake. It will let you cancel, but the charge isn’t reversed and I am stuck with it for a month. The first time, I spent a long time on the phone and email with Apple and PayPal. I eventually got the money reversed. The second time, I kicked myself for not having recognized it was happening again and I just canceled it and sucked up the $5.99 that I had to pay for a month of service I didn’t ask work. It happened again today and I am super frustrated. There must be something in this version of the app that is causing this because it never happened before. One had to go through a couple of steps to subscribe to the extra cost service.
Fantastic Music
by MillionsLost on 2019/04/17 01:30
I have used iHeart Radio for about 3 years. I never have a problem finding the music I am interested in. The selection of live radio stations and genres is fabulous. I have lived in three different Countries besides the U.S. and it is fun to be able to find a “local station” from where I used to reside. iHeart makes it possible for me to stay current with the artists from these small Countries. This past weekend I went on a road trip through mountains. There were many places that Wi-Fi and even LTE were not available. iHeart radio continued playing through many of these places. Even when the radio stations on my radio weren’t playing. It really did make the trip better, having my favorite music along for the drive! Thanks iHeart!
Ghosts Playing With My Phone??
by Tmama711 on 2017/10/28 11:57
I use this app every single day to listen to my local radio station morning show. I’ve never had an issue, always runs really smoothly, except for an occasional “dead air” or skip in the middle of a song. I don’t use it for much more, not even rating songs. Here’s my problem... I turn it off when I’m ready to walk out the door to go to work, and it randomly starts playing again. The app is completely turned off and closed. This happens several times a day. Even while I’m at work. I ended up deleting the app and reinstalled it hoping that would fix the problem. It didn’t. So I deleted it again to ensure that I wouldn’t be humiliated at work again by the random music playing from my purse. I download the app again because like I said, I listen to Elvis every single day but this is getting seriously old and annoying.
Too many repetitive commercials for radi
by Hagarpun on 2018/07/05 12:07
I like the app. I use the app for listening to my favorite radio station, WTKS 104.1. It can be glitchy at times, but I think it may have to do with cellular issues. The reason why I’m giving it 2 stars is because at every commercial break, it plays the same commercials over and over and over. I know the commercials played are a way to generate income for the app but it’s ridiculous how many times these same commercials are played. I personally will not ever buy any product or service from any company advertising on real radio because it’s sickening listening to them over and over. The funny thing is is that a lot of other listeners will complain about the app for this reason, on the air. Now, if I could pay the subscription to get more local commercials, I would pay for it not to hear the same commercials over and over and over. Are you listening iHeart radio?
So many songs I never wanted to hear
by LusitaniaAngel313 on 2017/12/20 09:10
So the only reason why I’m not ranking this 5 stars is my own favorites station. Before I had a pretty finite selection and I was cool with that! Now I’m flooded by songs I don’t really care for and it seems if I thumb them down, they return days later (example being Uptown Funk which I completely despise)! While yes the station will play some of the songs I do care for, once they switch to what they THINK I like, good luck getting my songs to play again. Also it annoys me when the same station flat out quits and won’t play anything! Like it ran out of content! Now I will admit this station has pulled some interesting surprises like pulling Jump by Rihanna to the station which made me happy as can be. I still listen wholeheartedly because where else can I blast CENTURIES into my ears? ;)
Best Radio App
by BUST123 on 2018/07/22 02:11
EDITED: The one issue I had was resolved. I use this app frequently and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you. ... Aside from the following issue, this app is awesome. I love the ability to listen to radio through my phone. Hopefully this gets resolved, my rating would be higher. Nearly every time I open the app, it automatically tries to make an in app purchase and asks for my finger print. This has something to do with the pop up offer that comes up every time I open the app. Instead of allowing me to dismiss the offer, it acts like I clicked on it. I could easily have accidentally subscribed to your paid service if I wasn’t paying close attention. Based on the reviews, this appears to already have happened to several other unsuspecting users. Please find a way to prevent this pop up from showing up every time I open the app. I understand you need a source revenue and have no problem with advertisements. But I’m not interested in making any purchases and would like to enjoy this free app without the risk of accidentally paying for a subscription each time I open it. I will update my review when this is resolved.
This application need some serious accessibility work done on it
by Themusicman08 on 2018/12/10 16:07
I am a voiceover user and I’ve noticed for several updates now that this application seems to be broken. Trying to contact I heart on the website is also out of the question because you have to use a capture to see the visual aspect and if you are blind it’s not possible. The buttons at the bottom of the app on the iPhone are not labeled. You have to have someone tell you what they are so that you can add your own custom labels to these buttons. This is a major problem. Also, why is it that I’m getting notifications about Podcasts that I no longer follow? I’ve unfollowed those podcasts. Yet I’m still getting notifications about them. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I do not have in app purchases at all. So something is wrong here. Please fix the issues that I have brought forth. I would greatly appreciate it.

I love it. Amy is my favorite. I drive all day starting 430 am to 5 pm doing deliveries. I listen all day, Monday thru Friday. The local host lean a little left, but they always give the other side. They are fair. I listen to RUSH, Tom Sullivan and the Sheriff. And then Kitty takes me home. You have a great staff. Your news is informative and accurate. The CBS affiliate reporter sometimes is not. Your station will correct that immediately. I appreciate this station because they don’t try to sway my opinion. I appreciate all the hosts and like your line up. Of course RUSH is right leaning, Tom is middle of the road and the sheriff puts the topic as it applies to the law. I like that. I don’t care for his “deputy “ fill in host and miss the sheriff when he is gone. Love all of you. Keep up the good work!!
Better Than Radio
by Alphadogtucker on 2018/01/25 18:39
I use this app every day. You can “create” “stations” that play music similar to your choice such as a band or style, although choices off the mainstrsam can be very limited. For example, if you choose Taiko, it won’t be long before Zaideco or Euro muzac is playing. IHR has a great selection of AM and FM radio stations. Great for listening to the news back home or that talk radio program that doesn’t play in your area. The trade-off here is the repetitive, ear-grating PSAs and ads that they play over the stations’ ads. If I could, I would pay the subscription price just to get rid of those awful PSAs. Don’t forget podcasts. IHR has a great collection with many categories. I listen to several about business and career skills. My favorites, though, are Ben Shapiro and Wretched Radio. Shapiro is a sharp political commentator who examines all sides and does not let party loyalty or ideology get in the way. Wretched Radio keeps you aware of movements and deviations from biblical Christianity but without the judgmentalism (except where it’s been earned). There are so many choices, it’s impossible to keep up. And you don’t have problems with interference or fading, as long as you have a good Internet connection.
it's not as grand as it was
by Allanah M. on 2018/04/11 20:30
The principal of it was splendid. The last update that I’ve done completely changed the look. The look is nothing. Nothing compared to how it works which has changed dramatically. I can’t access my saved stations. Saved not meaning my favorites as they were different on purpose. The app now starts off playing the last station and if I want to change the station I have to go through my now limited ability to see stations to do so. Clicking on it doesn’t change it instantly anymore and it takes ages for it to load a list I personally don’t care for and change the station. It’s overly complex for no reason. Having a list is fine after you’ve started my saved station or if it was a new station for me to see what would be on it. I throughly dislike it, and I forgot why I didn’t update it. I will go through iTunes and undo the update.
Generous 3 stars. Only because I love the morning show
by Chasingkeri on 2018/01/05 21:34
Dear iheart executive people, Why on earth would I even consider your premium version if you can't get the free app right? I haven't been able to listen to anything Elvis Duran in months because the pause button just spins and spins and hardly ever starts playing. I try the 15 min morning show, Elvis Duran replay channel, acquired taste podcast, Elvis Duran on demand and nothing works!! Finally today after months of attempts and ultimately giving up after about 20 minutes of silence it worked after 35 min. But I was attempting to listen to acquired taste and instead the ED replay channel started playing! So I tried to switch back to acquired taste and spins and silence again!!! What's up, iheart??!?
Good app ( sort of )
by Niablix on 2019/04/07 05:00
I’ve listened to this app for years discovering new artist I like and dislike but it’s on accident. Many times when I decide I want to listen to my station ( imagine dragons ) some other song will pop up! ( Panic! At The Disco ) please fix this so only songs written by that band or singer or something very similar will pop up when you listen to a station. Also I don’t understand why I have to pay $6.00 more just to skip songs I don’t like or pick a certain song on a station I want to listen to instead of having to listen all through a station I might not like just to listen to that song. Besides that I love IHeartRadio listening to my rock station while I’m busy or simply just being a lazy couch potato.... so please fix at least the first thing.
Stop the REPETITIVE ads!!!
by Bears99 on 2018/01/10 15:27
An American Red Cross ad played 15 times in a row today. That is ridiculous. This isn’t the first time either. It happens every time I use this app. Also, it seems every few months the ad that repeats over and over changes. A while ago it was about Jimmy and his grandpa talking about light bulbs, then it was about Alison and seat belt safety, now it’s for blood donation. I’ve written about this before and you replied saying “we need to have ads to support us to give you the best musical experience”. Well listening to an ad on an endless loop is hardly a great experience. So now every time I hear the Red Cross ad I know it’s going to repeat so I have to restart the app. Somethings that works, but mostly it restarts the ad repetition all over again. So I just have to sit there and listen to the ad until it stops. It happened today from 10:15 am through 10:25 am EST. I was listening to the Loop. You need to fix your crappy ad algorithms.
Bug needs fixing...
by Kim & Trone on 2019/01/29 14:47
There’s a glitch in the app that needs to be fixed ASAP. When I play an artist station (in this example, it’s Lindsey Stirling) and I tap to replay a song, a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT song begins to play. On a hunch, I went back into the replay menu yesterday and tapped on the song currently playing to see what would happen and lo and behold the song I originally wanted to replay started playing! What’s interesting is that the song that I “skipped by going to replay domes back on exactly two tracks later. The same happens if I let the “wrong” replay song play through—the song I really wanted to replay comes back on two tracks later. It’s really frustrating and I like the vast majority of the songs that play on the artist station I listen to daily, so it feels like I’m skipping stuff I like just to replay a song I want to hear. Even my 9-year-old noticed it! Please fix this.
Used to be the best but now
by wndyeliza on 2018/02/16 05:36
I down loaded iHeart Radio several years ago and was a very loyal listener because l could get any artist l wanted even some of the lesser known ones ( NOT flavor of the year types). I’m punching in favs having a good time. Well, lost my job and hasn’t opened the app now l find all of the things l used to do for free l get the opportunity to pay for. Why do l have to pay for their bad management? Yes, l know they almost went bankrupt, but why are you screwing the fans? We are the ones who come to the festivals paying big bucks, so now l get to subscribe to get my unlimited plays back, what does that hurt you guys that you need money for it? If you’re that close to going BK then re-organize so you don’t hurt the people who came to you in the first place and kisten to your stations on/off the app. You have a good thing, don’t get greedy.
STOP HIDING SAVED STATIONS!
by Hansoloicanthearyou on 2017/12/21 22:20
This new update was the last straw for me. Every update the app gets less and less useful and harder to use. First off the “for you” page is completely worthless. Stop making that the landing page. Second, every single time you update the app it becomes harder and harder to find my saved stations. It is sooooo annoying! I should be able to just hit the app and it starts playing the last station I listened to. Sometimes it will sometimes it seems to have no idea what I listened to last so I have to hunt around the app to find my saved stations. Then once I get used to how to find it you update it again and move the saved stations AGAIN. The landing page should be simple - recently played stations and then your favorite stations on a scrolling list. I shouldn’t have to hunt around the app for 10 minutes trying to find them.
Love for my local station, BUT....
by CoolMomsRock! on 2018/10/10 17:38
Few things I don’t like. I considered paying for this because I use it a lot and was interested in the other paid features. Glad I used the free trial (since canceled). I used “my favorites” that’s supposed to play just what I’ve liked, and it played a mess of songs that not only didn’t I like, I’d most certainly never made the effort to click like in the first place. I prefer the pandora option of being able to create a station based on multiple songs or artists. And lastly, hello... why offer a “lyrics” option if there are never any lyrics available? Nothing worth than an ear worm with lyrics you know you’re not hearing right. So I ‘ll continue to use multiples until one music app gets it 100% right.
Tricked me into paying for a subscription
by MigrantFarmer on 2018/08/03 14:30
About a month ago, a pop-up got me to click on a free trial that I didn’t care for. Clearly, the X to exit the pop-up is too small, and you can unintentionally hit the ad instead of the X. Once the free trial ended, another pop-up came up yesterday when I was trying to turn on iHeartRadio. I thought I dismissed it, but a message kept coming up asking me to enter my iTunes password. Every time I dismissed that iTunes password request, it kept coming back. I assumed it was for an update, so eventually I just gave in and entered the password. I didn’t know it was to make a purchase. There was no other indication that the password would force a subscription. That is shady as hell. This company is pathetic for taking advantage of people like this. It makes sense why they are doing this forced subscription trick, though. These guys have been losing money since 2017. Nobody cares about their trash app.
Charges for the Plus?
by PrilWag80 on 2018/08/17 19:00
*Update, I have received a refund after several calls and chats with Apple Support. I am still not happy that there was not an email sent from IHeart radio telling me my free trial was ending so I wouldn’t have to go through all of this. I have sent them an email stating such. I am very unsatisfied with how I was treated when it came to being charged for the IHeart Plus which I didn’t even notice a difference in my app to know that something was different. I did not get a notice that I was about to be charged for something that I don’t even want and when I contacted support all I got was “well you know better for next time sorry we can’t refund your money even though you canceled on the day it was supposed to renew.” So in the end I paid $5.99 for something that I didn’t want. The least you can do is send an email to people saying Hey you are about to get charged if you don’t cancel so I would have known.
Radio with a heart
by Big Big Big Big A1 John on 2018/07/21 04:46
I love listening to Q 95 in Indianapolis. I even want to great so the concert tickets to go see Joan Jett and the black hearts Have a great time, fantastic concert. I would love for you 95 and I hurt radio to sponsor my wedding. I was a schoolteacher and was injured by a careless/rumored to be drunk driver. I have been through a great deal of therapy and testing to deal with by Trumatic brain injury. I met a wonderful woman who understands me and cares about me even though I have a serious brain injury. Raising money for the wedding has been extremely challenging, we’re not looking to do anything elaborate. Even a simple wedding is very costly. It’s amazing what a wedding dress cost. I’m hoping that I hurt radio will see this and being a radio with a heart help sponsor the wedding.
iHeart Radio

I ❤️ed this app before they started making ppl. sign up to use it. I don’t ❤️ it anymore. I don’t use it anymore on my newer iPad and iPhone b/c u started making ppl. sign up to use it. I only use it on my older iPad b/c I can listen to music w/out having to sign up to use it. It’s a little annoying b/c I have to hit a button all the time. And when I put music in there to play, it disappears, so every time I have to search for it again. And also u make ppl. use their email address if there’s any concerns. I absolutely refuse to use this app unless u change it back, so ppl. don’t have to sign up to use it, and so ppl. don’t have to use their email address to talk to someone about concerns. I’d give it 5 stars if ppl. can listen to music w/out having to sign up to use it, use an email address, having to hit a button, having to search for music every time b/c it disappears, but I’m giving it a 1. I’d give it 0 if I could.
Can’t remove “Favorites Radio”
by aliwade44 on 2019/04/02 13:11
I installed the app solely to listen to live radio stations. I’ve added the stations that I want, but the app insists that the top of my list should always be something called “Favorites Radio”. I have no interest in any kind of curated list of songs, and I don’t want to see this. Every time I delete it, it reappears in a few minutes. And it’s always at the top of the list, so I can’t even move it to the bottom, out of the way. I already created an account that has my demographic information, and the app will track everything that I listen to. This is the value that IHeart gets out of giving the app for free. Please stop trying to “add value” by doing things that I clearly don’t want (as shown by deleting the unwanted station many times, over and over again).

What Happened?
by Chjvhjgcgvfvvbcgf on 2017/10/12 10:38
This app used to be great but they removed a lot of good features. A few problems that I have include not being able to make stations from songs anymore, and the app is slow because it loads so many ads. When I try to scroll through the recently played stations, it stops often and loads the "you have been selected for a free month of premium" but I don't want to use it yet. Another problem I have is that I can't seem to find the list of recently played songs where you can like or dislike the songs. Since the app loads ads often I press the skip song multiple times thinking the app is just being slow and I accidentally skip a song that I like and want to press like to add it to my favorites playlist. If you removed the recently played songs feature, please bring it back.
Great music system, it's better than public radio!
by Safety Valve on 2018/03/22 22:20
I highly enjoy listening to this on the PC and my phone, I can listen to music off season... no other normal public radio station (such as the ones you listen to in your car) can do, other than I Heart Radio, just plug in your favorite music genere (mine mains ones are Smooth Jazz, 80's and Sometimes on a blue moon Hoiliday music, when I am feeling "In The Mood") I remember listining to I heart radio as early as 2010 or 2011 in High School (we did not have a system at home that could support sound at the time) I plugged Smooth Jazz in the search tab and my enjoyment with the company grew if you could give I Heart Radio 10 stars I'd Give it 10/10!
I only use this for lack of options
by CheeseMcTits on 2019/03/11 23:43
I’ve used this app for years and recently, on a daily basis. I’m a fan of a local talk show and I work third shift so I listen to the podcast while I work. But recently there has been a problem where the stream will stop and I’m forced to either close or reopen the app forcing me to watch another add. Almost seems suspicious that it would force me to watch an add every time. It’s unacceptable when it happens 2 or 4 times in a sitting. My app is up to date as well. And when I reopened the app while experiencing this issue. It suggested I listen to the Joe Rogan Experience through iHeart radio which is laughable because I listen to it on iTunes which doesn’t force you to view adds and doesn’t have those “you’ve been selected” adds pop up with just the right amount of timing so you inadvertently click on it and it takes you to the purchase screen.

It is a very good app

by Elktrks on 2019/05/24 17:59
I love the idea behind iHeatradio because I get to listen to the stations I like, but I literally have ran (I listen when running) 1.5 miles without hearing a single song....JUST COMMERCIALS!

Paying for ad-free listening and creating playlists is one thing, but simple services like replay or song choice I think should be free.

by Licia819 on 2019/05/24 10:07
I have listened to Z100 for 20 years and I hate that fact how much it has changed.

Constant pausing and searching for signal
by irirsheyes66 on 2019/05/23 12:30
The options for stations is good. I enjoy the weekly mixed tape. I don’t like the fact that it is always searching for signal whether using WiFi or cellular data to connect.

Website told me to get premium so that I can transfer playlists to my watch, but that turned out to be useless.

lousy & getting worse
by entitymike on 2019/05/22 03:08
Been listening to one news channel these past few years.

It did this for a straight 25 minutes because I just wanted to see how long it would go and after that I shut it off and was not able to catch the end of the show I was listening to.

by Cstill299 on 2019/05/21 17:18
Even without the premium access this was my go to radio app but something changed very recently and a commercial plays in between EVERY SONG!
