Almond chicken too rough to eat.
by Will2450 on 2021/01/20 00:00
So very very disappointed. The chicken was too tough to chew. We ended up throwing away a $14.60 dinner. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Cox services
by susu3guns on 2021/01/19 21:13
I had been a Cox subscriber for years..for good and bad. And believe me most of it was bad. Most recently I tried cancelling my service because I was moving into a new home and Centurylink offered the same if not better services for $12 less a month. Well every time I tried to cancel my service I was given the run around and I was told to go in to a Cox store site. I’m a medical provider and this was challenging and then finally Cox called me because they had a request foe new services at my old address, and then they finally cancel my service, 4 days after it had billed and then they proceeded to tell me that I will be responsible to pay the billed amount due because I didn’t call earlier. Good riddance abs just be cautious when you use Cox, they’re always trying to make more money for nothing better..

I’d give -star if we had option. My Pillow is good for the first month but after that be ready to wash and hot dry once a week to get fullness back. And if you don’t buy from website but instead from a big box store My Pillow doesn’t stand by warranty.

Coast Dental, St Petersburg, Fl
by dentist headache. on 2021/01/19 15:04
DO NOT GO THERE. They are unprofessional, disorganized, money centered over patient care. Corporate medicine at its worst. First off I was told I would need thousands of dollars of work and they have a credit card I could apply for. I was told I needed root canal. I asked how much my co pay would be. I was told $216. I said let’s schedule it. When I show up for my appointment I get another dentist. She says you are here for a consultation aren’t you. I said no! I’m here for the root canal. I have already had a consultation. So she says I GUESS I can do it. FIRST RED FLAG. Then she asked me what tooth she would be working on? SECOND RED FLAG. Thinking at this point I should just leave. She left to retrieve my records. Comes back and says she knows what tooth it is now. That will be $560 co pay. I said WHAT? That’s more than double what you previously quoted me. She said it is $560. How do you want to pay? Needless to say they won’t get the chance to work on me or will they ever. I have a new dentist. A privately owned dentist group.
Save Your Money
by T.Bonds on 2021/01/19 14:13
Beyond Unprofessional! As I presently sit in the lobby I’m subject to listening to the staff discuss personal matters. They are swearing have seemingly forgotten that I am waiting here. Save your money, this place is not designed to help anyone, and I highly doubt the persons working here are licensed.

Great Fitness Store
by Erin Lizzy G on 2021/01/19 01:51
This is my second purchase from The Fitness Superstore, I bought a Stairmaster a few months back and it is amazing, its commercial grade and works great. I just bought the bodysolid pro dual cable machine. It arrived quickly and they professionally assembled it in my garage. It turned out great and has really added to my home gym. Its very sturdy and well made, and easy to use. Thank you! I will definitely recommend this store to my friends. The customer service is also exceptional.

Liberty tax service
by girmett on 2021/01/18 19:33
Liberty tax service in Franklin Ma had been doing my taxes for 2 years. In the 3rd year they discovered they had done my taxes wrong the first 2 years, I ended up owing the government over 6,000 dollars. After charging me 500 dollars every year they wouldn’t even help pay for their mistake. What ever you do ,Do not utilize Liberty tax service . I couldn’t post this without a rating, there should be a place for Zero stars. Thank you!!!!

Mostly helpful
by Ganesha yogi on 2021/01/18 16:30
When I travel, Yelp usually will help me find some great places. I only wish they would add a filter that works. When I search for “organic restaurant” many times I’ll get something like McDonalds. I know that’s wrong. I also would love to see an environmentally friendly filter, which means restaurants don’t serve plastic or styrofoam containers to go. Overall it helps save time I searching for a restaurant, and the reviews are usually spot on. Only once was a restaurant a four star and it was terrible. I’ve also found some restaurants that were a three star and they were fantastic, so it’s helpful to be able to read why they give the rating that they do.

Have to pay to keep good reviews showing?
by jomanaandyodaddy on 2021/01/18 14:53
I’ve heard from 4 completely separate business owners that Yelp offers to keep the “good” reviews showing for a fee. You don’t want to pay that fee? Well then the good reviews go down below in the ‘not currently recommended’ section. Don’t trust Yelp reviews based upon the Yelps recommended status, read the not recommended as well. Seems like a shady practice standard Yelp.

annoying
by annoyed18282 on 2021/01/18 12:31
I dont want the app, I want a browser friendly website. Being redirected to the app store and harassed to download the app whenever I want to read a few simple reviews is annoying. I dont want to have the app taking up extra space. Why have the online browser if its practically useless ?
Best date night ever 2021
by Robin1021K on 2021/01/18 12:12
Extraordinary. It meets elite standards, I had the Soy Wasabi Tuna Tartare, and it was the best, the flavor was everything fresh, next I had the 10 oz fillet mignon with Truffled Stand Up Mac & Cheese, the steak had so much flavor the sauce on the side was not even used! I paired this with two glasses of wine. To finish this night off how could I not try dessert, which was the Banana Foster Cream Pie with rum ice cream. The rum ice cream with fresh bananas was delicious food and; the pie was okay but not for me. The staff is always ready to help, the premises are extremely clean, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented. Best service during COVID. Thank you, Kelsey C. I went home a happy woman!

COVID Petri Dish!!
by kmudda35 on 2021/01/18 08:16
This place isn’t follow COVID guidelines at all!! The employees & customers are not wearing masks or social distancing, people are sitting at the bar & indoors for long periods of time eating and drinking, there are very large crowds gathering both indoors & crowding parking lots and when business manager is confronted about these issues he blows you off and ignores you. The manager & staff discuss with their customers that COVID is some made up phenomenon and don’t care consider customer safety by implementing COVID protocols. They need to be reported ASAP before they become a major COVID spreader if they haven’t already & I’m appalled that the health and safety services or property manager has not stepped in to shut these people down!!

by Gabriel Mccreary on 2021/01/18 05:29
I brought my 160 pound Cane Corso Italian mastiff to Jessica. He was a wreck. He was dirty and neglected. I felt really bad but knew I had to find a groomer. I searched her out and she was new to the area but totally comfortable with handling big dogs. I would suggest Jessica to anyone who needs some TLC for their baby! Thank you, Gabriel!

Texas Roadhouse Lima why don’t the cooks wear mask???
by Rhodesstatern on 2021/01/18 02:11
texas Roadhouse lima food was good but both times I’ve been there in the last couple of months I noticed 90% of the staff have their mask below the nose and NONE of the cooks or staff preparing the food have mask on at all!!! I do not feel like they are taking my health seriously and therefore this long time customer will NOT be back. and I’m not exaggerating folks No one in the back from the cooks to the prep persons, to the chick talking the whole time she was making bread wear mask at all! I just can’t!! how inconsiderate.

Burgers and Brew in Boise
by Ralphlynn on 2021/01/18 01:41
We ordered 2 orders of their finger steaks which they advertise as great. With the pandemic this was a real treat for us, even though we had to do carry out. If these had been brought to my table I would have sent them back. As it was it was to late once they got home. The entire meal was overcooked, in fact the onion rings were burnt and were not able to be eaten. Too bad that we tried to treat ourselves and got burned.

Automated software is stupid
by Beefcakes101 on 2021/01/18 01:30
The fact that I gave a 1 star to a restaurant for getting food poisoning and the automated software states my review is not recommended and “not helpful to the community” is absolutely ridiculous. How is getting food poisoning and giving an honest review seen as a not recommended review so it doesn’t show for others to see as a warning? Highly disappointed and very biased when it was my first and very honest review.

WARNING: UNAUTHORIZED TRACKING!!!
by SendingOutAnSOS on 2021/01/17 23:30
UPDATE: Yelp no longer allows users to view book marks unless they provide access to location tracking. Yet another example of this being a very shady run app. I have zero trust that the app has any integrity. Without granting any permission, Yelp auto connected to my social media accounts and was obtaining information on my posts and locations. It wasn’t until I logged into the Yelp setting that I discovered this and many other disturbing auto settings including tracking, sharing of data, pushing of notifications, etc. Shame on both Yelp and Apple for permitting this kind of behavior.

Tried to call to order
by bisato madd on 2021/01/17 19:45
Tried to call for 20 mins. Since 11:30 am Because their website say they open at 11:30, no answer and after tries went straight to voice message. So disappointed Went to this restaurant pre-covid and food was great, but they need to do a better job in this period where you can only do takeout or delivery. Also their special all you can eat to go is not available if you order on their website.
Unsatisfactory
by rls05 on 2021/01/17 18:55
Sorry but I was disappointed with the stone drift spa. My girlfriends and I go away every year at this time for a weekend getaway whether we stay local in Illinois or head out to other states in the U.S. My friend made the appointments back in November for two, head to toe packages, and one, tranquility package. My Swedish massage didn’t last 50 minutes, and she forgot to do the front of my legs entirely. Then the manicurist and the pedicurist weren’t told we requested gel pedicures when we made the reservations. It felt like a battle and inconvenience to remind them that this is what we asked for and planned for when we called in the reservations. The pedicurist didn’t trim or soften cuticles , give a leg scrub, or remove calluses. For what I pay for a deluxe pedicure at home compared to this pedicure it didn’t perform well at all. I would think for the price of the packages that services would match the overall cost. I go to the spa at least once a month and have a gel pedicure twice a month at home and this fell far below my overall expectations for the area. Unsatisfied customer

I have had to use Mellon Restoration after personal property damage. They responded within an hour of my call for help. The quality of service is impeccable. Sadly our home was damaged again within a year. I called Mellon Restoration and they were at our house in an hour. By the end of day one, the damage was covered and they worked tirelessly for weeks to restore our home to its natural beauty! I will recommend them to everyone I know. I could nit ask fir a better company to help us while we were at our lowest! Thank you to an amazing company. You deserve more than 5 stars.

Great Food and Unique Atmosphere
by Sloane W on 2021/01/17 15:00
This place has been on my places to visit for over a year for Sunday breakfast/brunch. Finally made it today. It did not disappoint. Chicory coffee, authentic bengetes. I had the blue crab omelette with a side of creole, husband had the chicken and bengetes and we had a mixed order of bengetes. Way too much food but their menu was so delicious it was hard to narrow it down. Highly recommend.

by Inchik1981 on 2021/01/17 07:45
I have Yelped for the past 10 years and left good reviws and bad reviews depending on the experience I had with the restaurant or an establishment I have been dealing with. Well I recently left a 3 Star teview for a restaurant that the food was OK but definitely the staff had attitude ( I didn’t call anyone names, just said the staff could be a lot nicer) and the Business Owner that pays Yelp money every month definitely did not like my comment so Yelp took my comment down.. this is the email I got from them: IF YELP WILL BE TAKING DOWN BAD REVIEWS BECAUSE THE OWNER PAYS THEM MONEY, THEN WHERE IS THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH OR EVEN HONESTY IN THIS???!!!! NO THANK YOU, deleted my app! YOU GUYS ARE HYPOCRITES!!! Hello, We're reaching out to let you know that our moderators removed your review of Peoria Artisan Brewery. We typically remove reviews that describe individuals or situations with objectionable terms that go beyond simply reviewing a customer experience with a business. We ask that reviewers avoid commentary that reinforces negative cultural stereotypes, makes light of physical or sexual violence, or otherwise includes unnecessarily graphic or offensive descriptions. In this case, we felt that your content crossed that line, even if you didn't intend it to. Building ambience from the outside is stellar but it stopped there. The barbecue was a great disappointment...From the taste to the service to the cost. You’re much better bet for a good barbecue is Stan’s in Issaquah.I so wanted this backyard barbecue to where I live to be a hit but it just missed the mark

Yelp is a Racist Company
by kurt89523 on 2021/01/17 02:59
Unfortunately, Yelp classifies business owners by their race, which by definition is racist. If you want an apolitical app, Tripadvisor appears to treat businesses equally, without regard to the color of one’s skin.

This restaurant was always our go-to place to eat and have a drink until the Coronavirus hit. It is close to our home and has good food. One problem is that when we initially arrive there is never anyone there to greet us upon arrival. We usually have to wait for a busy waitress to finish with the customers she is serving. I know they have a limited amount of servers but I would think they would have a designated person to greet incoming diners. We have had to wait, sometimes over five minutes, for someone to seat us. The food is good and waitresses are always pleasant and attentive once we're seated, and well worth the wait. There is a sign when entering that says, "please wait to be seated." If diners could seat themselves it might help. We like this restaurant and their food, so we will go back after the Covid-19 is under control.
USPro Moving Company
by Herestothecrooks on 2021/01/14 06:06
This appears to be a scam. I’ve just been taken for $1400 and four days extreme stress as well as all the money it cost me to get another truck and find people to help me load and drive it. Never want to do this to yourself. In my opinion US pro moving is a scam out of Florida where they have a list of drivers in different states promise dates and then whoever shows up may show up or they may not in any case you’ve already paid $1500 retainer which is nonrefundable cleverly and signed a 15 page ‘we have all the rights form leaving you with no truck no movers and no money. When you call to complain and ask where your truck is, they tell you a story about the dispatcher and the last truck and claim no responsibility for what happens between you and the truck in fact they say it’s not an emergency when you ask where your truck is. When you insist that you are now 71 years old standing in the driveway with all your stuff and have to have a truck and that’s an emergency for you, they don’t care. I survived this experience, but I hope you don’t make the same mistake of reading the online recommendations on the webpage and on Google because I’m not sure this company really existsExcept to scam people like me who don’t do their homework well enough.
Love it!

Being Yelp elite, I use Yelp everyday, everywhere I go. I cannot go into any new business, or consider visiting an already visited one,Without first reading reviews or my prior review. It saves me a lot of time that would’ve been wasted frequenting a restaurant that I have had multiple bad experiences at!I’ve also shared many new places that my followers have enjoyed checking out for the first time as well as I have checked out places of people that I follow what I’m looking for something new or different. I’m very picky so the details are important to me. I need to know how the services, how clean the restaurant is, how they’re practicing Covid measures, if their food is fresh or they’re just reheating some frozen food, is it affordable, do they have any specials that are worth getting, etc. Without yolk I don’t know how I would find many businesses when I need something, anything! AC /appliance parts? Check! Good mechanics ? Check! Good home inspectors? Check! Good place to take the kids on a Saturday morning? Check! You just can’t go wrong!
My go-to app for food!
by 098Drift on 2021/01/15 07:50
I’ve used this app for years l, and it has always served its purpose. I hate how it’s more social media-centric now, but it’s changing with the times I guess. Yelp makes it easy to find any business, from restaurants to barbers and electricians. There are so many complaints about Yelp, particularly about reviews being “hidden” or business owners being “bullied” into paying for advertisement. I agree; the latter is wrong, especially during these times. Here’s a solution, though: If you don’t like Yelp, then get your business off their website! People love to complain but are doing absolutely nothing about it. By removing your business profile from Yelp, you don’t have to worry about reviews or fake 5-star reviews from being hidden. Find another place to advertise your business! If that isn’t the problem, maybe the food or service you offer isn’t as good as you think after all!

Bought a vehicle here . Told me he is a Christian and he is telling me truth the vehicle is in immaculate condition. When I drove it it said 178,000 on the speedometer and after I bought it the next day I went to change the tire and the truck started stalling when I got it AutoZone the put it on the machine and all of a sudden the speedometer jumped to 278,000 miles . Not only is this questionable but when I went to buy the truck he only wanted to accept cash. He called me to ask my name he said he would have paperwork ready if I was sure I wanted it. I gave him my name and address he wanted. I got to the office and even before I gave him all the money he had the title signed over and put in my name without me signing any contract or paperwork etc. I didn’t even sign the back of the title. It was all done so now I question the notary in his office . Their is a ticking and the engine and transmission needs to be replaced so much is wrong with this car I can’t list everything. Stay clear of them it isn’t worth you loosing and dealing with this fake Christian man he is a liar and unscrupulous business man.
A Visionary Foodie Chef
by Chef Ap on 2020/12/28 09:19
I absolutely LOOOVE Yelp. I’m a Foodie first Chef second and Analysis third. If ever I go out somewhere I write honest reviews which is great that you can do I feel whether good experience or bad when dining a restaurant should always know how they’re doing. I seriously won’t go to a place without visiting Yelp first no matter the day or time I always need to see a visual of the menu, what I may want that’s described on the menu see what it looks like, see how it’s plated. My friends call me crazy for being so intense but as any chef knows you eat with your eyes firsthand. My friends also will call me and say I ordered from wherever and I should’ve read the reviews and saw visuals because I wasted my money. Yelp isn’t to be taken lightly you can get a lot of insight whether it’s Food to A Therapist to Auto Shops it’s helpful. I hope it never changes
Highly recommend using Yelp
by CianneMcG on 2021/01/11 23:45
I use Yelp constantly to help me look for a specific type of restaurant, to check hours that a store is open, to try to find the nearest auto parts store, to hire a handyman, and especially to check reviews on a business to help me decide whether I want to go there or not. The only problem I ever have is not the fault of Yelp, but a lot of businesses do not keep their information current. I have checked posted hours that the store is open, and drove all the way there only to find out that it is closed. That is very frustrating and would prevent me from going there again because I can’t trust what their page states. Businesses are doing themselves a disservice by this and I highly encourage them to update their Yelp page any time they make any type of change that affects a customer.
Ruins conservative business allowing Leftist slander
by PRFaust on 2020/12/14 22:16
Yelp allows faux reviews with no way to correct or challenge the review and Yelp doesn’t allow good legit reviews of genuine customers. For example: three one star reviews of my business were from three people who genuinely were never customers (I.e., they live in other states and stated explicitly that they wrote their views for political reasons). Their words are slanderous and politically motivated and don’t even have anything to do with my business. If I try to correct the review, which I tried to do, Yelp holds up these three one star reviews as legitimate (“We don’t take sides”) and hides two five star reviews from legitimate actual customers. But if the reviews are about “experiences” that never actually occurred, then how does one correct it? This company needs to be more fair. (Not to mention 5 of the 5 star reviews by actual customers was suppressed and not calculated with the other reviews and would have created a 4+ star rating instead of a 2.5 star rating. Get rid of the “Fake News” of yelp, it hurts businesses).
International House Of Prejudice
by Franky Giovanni on 2021/01/16 16:27
Very rude and difficult people not willing to work with you. They will not provide you with a mask if you do not have one, which is part of the CDC Guidelines, because “they don’t have time to hand them out” the lady working the front said, as she was standing there looking around doing nothing. The only guidelines they follow is that you need to wear a mask to walk 2 feet to your table. The lady at the front was very rude, she would not allow me to sit down with my mask and have my son bring my mask outside to my wife who was waiting patiently so she can walk to the table and sit down because “it doesn’t follow the guidelines”. Also walking back and talking about us with other employees. At that point it was clear that she was just going out of her way to make it difficult for us to be able to eat there for obvious reasons! They do not want the business of someone with out a mask on, even if you are willing to comply and cooperate. They make sure of this because they won’t even give you one, they only choose to follow the CDC guidelines that suit them.
Lane Bryant
by Ginacalautti on 2021/01/17 01:35
Taken advantage during COVID ordered online Purchased three blazers figure I return at store if one don’t fit. Went to mall to return or exchange for smaller size. Found out store closed 1 1/2 years ago. I called the customer service asked to send shipping label for return was told they don’t do that. why is there not a return label enclosed with the order. They said they can email me one that’s great but I don’t have a printer and I don’t have a job at this point so I can exchange it at another store luckily 6 miles away for a total of $17 to go to another state for free and I wouldn’t have to pay the six dollar return fee. I ask Lane Bryant to mail me a return label they refused. They kept using Covid as an excuse at one point I had to tell them everybody is dealing with Covid not just Lane Bryant finally getting nowhere I am getting ripped off I now have to pay $17 in tolls to return items I purchased plus the gas plus the aggravation and inconsiderate attitude from the customer service representative be careful before you order they do not offer return labels.
If you like getting treated like garbage, go there!
by AnonymousReviews2895 on 2020/12/29 20:13
If you’re a beginner, I beg you do not go to this store. They will literally laugh in your face when you ask them questions, trying to get help with a product. I actively try to avoid this store to the point where I drove 2 hours out of my way to get a compound bow somewhere else, as a Christmas present for my brother. The store will not be named as this is a review and not promoting another business. When I first went there a couple years ago I was treated with no respect and I jotted it down to the employees having a bad day so I didn’t write my review then. However, today my brother went to the store with questions and as I stated above was laughed at by an employee. As stated in other reviews my brother was greeted by a nice short blonde woman that treated him with respect. Unfortunately, one strong link in a chain, doesn’t save the chain. So seeing as how nothing has changed I have written this review in hopes that it reaches as many people as it can. Thank you to everyone who has read this and have a great day!
Texas road house pick up
by dissatisfied in ec on 2021/01/04 21:54
Texas road house used to have curb side pick up -they hVe now put up walls to enclose the pick up window and not have their employees bring meals to the cars - we ordered for pick up on New Year’s Eve - there was nothing mentioned in the app about no curbside pick up and that customers were expected to stand out side for half an hour after their order was ready to pick up - the explanation I received was that it was too cold for their employees to go outside to deliver the meals - but it was ok to have customers stand outside in 19 degree temps for half and hour to pick up their food - the manager was unwilling to even allow any compensation for the inconvenience. I myself will never order from Texas road house again as they apparently really do not cars about their customers at all.
Yelp is a shady company
by idgaf135643 on 2020/12/20 03:51
As a small business owner, Yelp used to call my business every few weeks to sign up for their advertising. I finally gave in since I thought why not give it a try. If it doesn’t work at least they will stop hassling me. After 5 months of unsuccessful advertising, I realized that they kept charging my account, even though I had only signed up for 3 months. (Salesperson wanted me to sign up for 6 but I disagreed) When I called Yelp, it turns out they had secretly hanged the contract to 6 months, even though I had a clear verbal communication with my salesperson that I only wanted 3 months. Apparently there was fine print that I missed upon signing but when I read the contract I thought it looked fine. When I called to dispute, the sales representative told me that he would transfer me to “customer support” department, and I ended up talking to an extremely rude person who basically said they will not refund me the money. If you’re reading this, just search online for the countless stories from small business owners about their poor experiences with Yelp and its unethical, greedy management. It starts at the top with companies like Yelp, and they are obviously a company that focuses on profitability over providing a unique service to improve our society. I believe this is the main reason Yelp has stagnated in their stock price over the past 5 years and will never take their company to the next level.
Only opinion no truth
by Competitive Games Rock on 2021/01/10 01:09
Honestly one of the worst apps of available on the market place you can have 10 people who don’t enjoy a restaurant but thousands of love it but unfortunately yelp only puts up the bad reviews or from reviews of the complainers. I’m reading about one the most popular restaurants called Spices Del Mar (for example) you can never find a place to sit down there take out is always 30 minutes meaning they’re overly busy yeah if you read their yelps they’ll be considered a horrible place to eat. Bottom line the place is phenomenal yelp as a biased horrible opinionated yup that absolutely does that portrayed the truth. The same can be applied chill local Roberto‘s restaurant which everybody knows about mine is always out the door but if you read the Yelps The place will be considered horrible and we all know that is phenomenal.. Yelp needs to be shut down, if they can take the presidents Twitter account away they definitely can shut Yelp down also. Bottom line don’t believe anything you see on this app
Read privacy policy first, no web functions
by Mishlz1 on 2020/10/19 18:47
I deleted this app after reading their privacy policy and using one of their functions that helps you get quotes from businesses. The app asks for a lot of your information like address and phone number, that they do not pass on to the businesses, so there is absolutely no reason they need that information other then they want it. Their privacy policy is horrible as well, they have no respect for anyone’s privacy. I always read the reviews they say are not recommended, the ones they claim do not meet their standards, whatever those are. These are usually the best and most honest reviews. I’ve been told by a lot of business owners that if they do not pay, their reviews are not always posted. Occasionally I use the version through the web browser, that intentionally has very little function to it. When you try to look at anything you get directed to the App Store to download the app. Maybe one day when they learn what privacy means.
Homey
by Neeners0220 on 2020/12/13 20:37
Ordering furniture unseen in person can be a daunting task. Although we were only moving into an apartment temporarily, I wanted our place to look as close to ”homey” as possible. My experience with CORT was seamless, thanks to Christian (from the Ft. Lauderdale store). He was professional, responsive, and proactive. Christian initiated contact with the management office at my building even before the leasing agent called me and arranged delivery before Thanksgiving! The selection was minimal because I waited too long to order before the snowbirds came for the winter. The pieces, however, were either in good or great condition, so much so that I added more furniture to my order after they were delivered. Christian helped me select some pieces that I wanted to exchange and was candid about an item's condition. I can’t recall all the names, but special thanks to the movers, especially Mark, who kept a positive attitude despite working with a half working elevator. The furniture was handled with care and professionally assembled. One guy even helped me decide where to place the sofa. 🙂 Thank you, CORT, for helping us transform what could've looked like a cold corporate apartment into a cozy temporary abode. Until our next move.
Going Downhill
by ElizabethVictoria23 on 2020/10/09 04:34
I had yelp for years and used it almost for everything. Today I decided to finally delete it. First, the reviews are not accurate. They censor a lot of reviews. They hide real reviews from real customers. They manipulate the feedback based on how much the businesses spend go advertise. When I started my business I had many people in my industry advise me to not spend a penny on yelp. I haven’t any money on yelp. I have real clients that have left me 5 star reviews. Some show up on my account but the majority are hidden. Many others in my industry have had to pay lots of money for the deceiving way in which yelp charges them for advertising. Great for big business, but screws over small business. As a consumer, I think it’s very deceiving. They manipulate the data. It’s like paying for reviews. And recently they announced they are now going to start doing socially policing businesses. I’m done with this company. I hope another competitor comes out. I’m done with yelp. Bye scammer.
Use it all the time but annoying sponsored adds
by Emwilflower on 2019/03/30 01:12
I love this app but the sponsored adds are annoying especially when they aren’t part of your modification on search. Also annoying when you go to read reviews on a place and they actually have SPONSORED reviews or something for other restaurants as your scrolling for other restaurants. Not only are these adds irrelevant to your search, but it’s made me misread reviews for places thinking they were for the place I was looking up. HOWEVER! I will continue to use this app because despite the annoyances like, it’s still extremely useful overall and I’ve even used it to schedule appointments for hair and nails. But usually use for food. Still recommend it for looking up places.
Bring back photo categories
by Vaughn B on 2020/11/20 02:50
I generally love Yelp - use it multiple times a day. But there’s ONE CHANGE in the latest deploy that drives me INSANE. Used to be when you look at a business profile’s pictures, you could tap on categories like “inside,” “outside,” and “menu” to jump to pics of those things. This made life easy if I wanted to size up the vibe for COVID or kid compatibility, or wanted to peruse the menu before picking or to phone in an order. Generally the menu pics are more reliable than the digital equivalent. I don’t understand why, but the latest build seems to have removed that tagging & filtering ability which is maddening and makes Yelp much less useful to me. Now I have to doomscroll through dozens or hundreds of photos to find a menu or patio shot. What a waste of time! Why would you take AWAY a time saving feature? I might switch to Google maps reviews.
Nightmare
by Craig & Christine on 2020/12/08 17:46
I am so sorry to have to write this about a local company when we tried to give them a chance. At every step of the way there was a mistake and, while as customers we were extremely frustrated, they did not treat us right and talked back to us. The product was totally damaged upon install and they claimed to stand by product but in the interim charged our card incorrectly a few times and also against what they declared they would do as they indicated that we would not need to pay remaining amount until product installed correctly. We were told we had one POC yet that individual never followed up with us. Discount was not applied correctly either. They do not understand the adage that the customer is right. My goodness. What an immense headache for a simple project. The left hand does not know what the right is doing here. Too many people involved. We will not use them again and caution all to proceed with immense caution. So sad.
Bell Lexus North Scottsdale Rocks!
by RDM542 on 2020/11/02 00:49
I’ve purchased many cars in my life but the service at Bell Lexus is so exceptional I had to write a review. Roy was extremely patient and took plenty of time to explain the different cars. He insisted I drive each car to really “get the feel” of the car. Once I settled on the perfect car he and Kyle took the time to fully explain each of the bells and whistles on the car. Mark in finance gave me all my options as far as “extras” and payments, etc. And a shout out to Matt and Braxton, who were so friendly and accommodating. This dealership is just top notch. Go see them for your next car. You won’t be disappointed. BTW. Their service department is amazing. My service writer David Bonnell is just the best
Good but could use improvements
by Ric M. on 2019/01/31 03:44
Still my preferred app to check out restaurants. A couple of suggestions. I like that people can check in. It would make more sense if there was an option to geographically base the check ins. Say for example you go a business trip and there was an awesome restaurant you visited but couldn't remember what the name was or where it was located. While you remembered to check in, it was roughly about 3 years ago. You have to spend several minutes scrolling and scrolling through your saved check ins to find the general timeframe of when you went there. More often than not, I will skip over it and it just leads to frustration. Make check ins more useful. The same repetitive questions keep coming up. For attire, answering either casual or formal would generally suffice. I don't think people filter places specifically looking for a divvy or hipster venue. I think one of the more useful things you could add is average wait time and harness the database of loyal users. If you could ask if wait time is less than 5 min, less than 30 min, or greater than an hour for walk ins, that would help users prioritize their list of possible selections. Hope these suggestions make it to the next update.
Automatic opening of app- STOP
by ettie3 on 2018/02/01 02:12
UPDATE: Nothing has changed. I give the app a chance by clicking on a link in safari, knowing I will be redirected. I don’t get redirected to what I was previously reading. This is so ridiculous and tiresome. Clearly y’all don’t want people to use your site. ******* I am so tired of you guys forcing me to use this app while I am browsing on safari. It should be an option we can turn off. And if it's not offered, you do a great job of hiding the ball and making people search to figure it out. My use of this app is a choice. If I want to visit the website, I should not be forced to interact with the app. I thought you would have addressed this by now but nope. One star for tone deafness and really messed up advertising. Also: If you're going to force people to open the app when using safari and looking at the mobile site, make sure it works and people are actually directed to the site they were looking at on safari.
They keep making their bookmarks feature worse and worse
by CaliPharoah on 2018/05/25 21:43
Who is in charge of this design? I use the bookmarks feature extensively and it has only gotten worse. Now in order to see my bookmarks on the app, I have to select “more” from the menu at the bottom, then select “bookmarks” which doesn’t actually take you to your bookmarks but to the collections feature which is pretty useless IMO and then click “bookmarks”. Fine I’ve lived with that since the last bad update but now you have no way of seeing whether the restaurant is open or closed without having to click on the individual business. You can’t see it from the list or the map anymore at all and it makes bookmarks so much less useful on the fly. I was hoping they would add a feature to show bookmarks by “open now” like you can with the search function but instead they crippled the function even more. This is a huge step backwards
Needs to prioritize reviews better
by Sashazur on 2018/02/08 05:05
It doesn't make sense that even for places with hundreds of reviews, the app lists reviews in random order... You might see a six month old review on top, followed by one from five years ago, then one from last week, etc. This makes it harder to tell if a place with overall good ratings has gone downhill recently, or if a place with overall bad ones has started improving. About the only way I can see this seemingly random order making sense is when a business suddenly gets a bunch of mostly good or bad reviews due to sketchy reasons - but that likely doesn't happen often. One other comment... I know people complain about how businesses can pay to get listed first, but the app makes it obvious by showing the "ad" symbol etc. and Yelp has to make money somehow.
Worst Business Decision EVER
by Jakey long on 2018/10/08 22:45
I’ve been in business for 13 years and never used any advertising to gain new clients from the internet or traditional advertising methods. I get new clients from referrals from current clients. I thought I’d join YELP just to have an online presence. Since that decision 1 month ago, I’ve been promised help with my business listing by Valentina my customer service rep at YELP (never happened). I have received 9 calls from other sites trying to get me to pay money to get my business listing to the top of a google search. I’ve also been charged $118 by YELP but Im not sure why. Valentina assured me I had a $300 credit to give my company exposure. (Randomly put my business at the top of the page when searching for my category of service) When I emailed Valentina, my customer service rep at YELP about the charge, she said she had no idea why I was charged and suggested I contact YELP billing. BOTTOM LINE: Dony join YELP for advertising, it’s a scam!
Garbage.
by Nickname is taken ugh on 2018/06/07 20:49
I don’t ever write reviews, but I feel compelled to about this sham of an app. Every time I’m looking into a business for whatever reason, the top searches all yield the same results: Yelp. Then, in the middle of what I’m trying to read, I’m forced to stop because Yelp wants me to go to their app. After months of this, I relented. Mistake. Not only does the app never have any useful information, but when I find something on the website and then “continue in app” it takes me to a page completely unrelated to what I was just reading! It’s such a scam. Don’t waste your time with this awful app, and don’t waste your time with Yelp! It’s a garbage website, with more ads than info. They obviously make lots of money to have the monopoly on Google searches, and I wish that would change, because all I want to know is who has the best sushi in my area and I might never know. Delete the app before you throw your phone across the room.
Do Not Trust Reviews on Yelp
by Cauffman97 on 2020/08/22 18:58
Yelp uses extortion tactics to get small business owners to pay for advertising or they will only display 25% or less of a business’s reviews and mainly only show the negative reviews unless the business owner agrees to advertise with them. Try looking in the “not recommended” section on Yelp. This is where you will find the honest 5 star reviews. I have seen a business with hundreds of 5 star reviews but only in the “not recommended” section. All of the ones displayed and counted are the very few bad reviews business owners get. This is why places don’t show up in order or closest to your location because Yelp manipulates all of it.....Only showing businesses that advertise with them. Everyone should watch the documentary “Billion Dollar Bully” before ever using Yelp again to decide where to go. Word of mouth reviews are the best reviews anyone can ever get about a business. After that, trust Google.
LESS than 1 star
by SoCalLannette on 2018/08/22 21:54
As a business owner I know not every single customer will love you but Yelp lets anyone say WHATEVER they want, even lies with no proof and the business owner can only respond to the review! Yelp will not assist business owners in removing reviews that are lies! I am a Yelp user and I have been a loyal advertiser until today! I received a 1 star review from a customer that was in my store last week, her review is about 10 paragraphs long and contradicts herself multiple times, not only that but what she says is a lie and I have proof but does Yelp care? NO! Does Yelp care that I was screamed at by someone unstable for 30 minutes and I never raised my voice and do they care that she was given a full refund? NO! Does Yelp care that I was told by my other clients in my store and 2 of my employees that I needed to call the police on this woman? NO! Does Yelp care that out of her 19 reviews she has left for other stores, over 10 of them are 1 star? NO!
Very helpful
by Gravity Warrior on 2018/01/29 22:43
Use this app often to research anyplace unfamiliar, especially restaurants. I like to see real deal pictures from the customers and not just the dressed up ones they want you to see. I do find reviews can be skewed. Some people just can’t be pleased like complaining about a 30 minute wait at a restaurant on Friday night or a 2 star review because of something that was superficial and likely an honest mistake like putting the appetizer on the wrong check with a party of 3 couples. When taking all this into account I find this app extremely helpful and informative. So far it has helped my family find several favorite local go to spots. We especially rely on it when traveling.
Yelp's Review
by Wyverk on 2017/09/13 16:13
Yelp is quite an amazing app. Many use it to rate first experiences of restaurants, gyms, clothing stores, you name it. Others rate what they have been going to their whole life. Either way, it is a great tool to use in order to understand whether a place you want to check out is good or not. Another bonus to this app is the fact that some businesses are willing to give free product and bonuses just for liking them and leaving a review on yelp. One thing that does confuse me is that a place for show four reviews actually have more than hundred. I'm guessing Yelp either has some algorithm to determine if a review is legitimate or yelp has certain preferences towards certain businesses. Who knows?
YELP
by AKPitman on 2019/09/24 20:08
I love Yelp! For a long time I had never even heard of Yelp. I was going to restaurants and writing reviews on the food I was getting every place I went. I have always considered myself a good judge of great food, mediocre food, and terrible food. I also believe in telling the truth, but without being downright rude. I then discovered Yelp and started reading reviews of places. I loved reading everyone’s opinion of all the different places. I don’t really remember how I got started writing for Yelp, but I’m glad I do because I love every minute of it. Meeting some of the Yelpers has been a treat too! Real people writing real opinions about food and businesses. Thank you YELP for allowing me to be a part of a wonderful organization.
What’s the agenda here? Or just incompetence?
by MC2020202 on 2018/11/29 05:28
Three different patrons left our business STELLAR reviews today on Yelp (first time I ever mentioned our presence on Yelp or had their link on our Web site [already removed]). Within a few hours, one of said customers contacts me to let me know her review was pulled by Yelp or made invisible, without reason or explanation. Why? I had no idea for her. Even worse, during the same timeframe, some older gentlemen we’ve never dealt with leaves a terrible, one-star review for us — even though he SPECIFICALLY CITES in his write up that he’s actually talking about an entirely different company with a somewhat similar name... It’s just unacceptable and infuriating... after this realization, I noticed that numerous other positive reviews that have been left by our patrons, were for some reason being made invisible and uncounted by Yelp. In the Cannabis industry (my company is a medical research and education organization), there are too many other resources for reviews available to even acknowledge Yelp. Resources which are UNIMPEACHABLE in credibility, cross-referencing IP addresses, among many other authenticity verifying protocols. This will now be a topic at our regional conference next Monday — I’ve already contacted the president of the Commission for my state, and I will be unequivocally recommending a boycott of Yelp for the entire Cannabis Industry.
Incentives
by Artierce on 2018/03/15 02:32
Love this app! Use it often. Yelp has allowed me to further develop my critical and creative thinking! It has sparked the food critic in me. Which in turn helped me cipher between bias and unbiased opinion. A hat off to their development team, for keeping up with updates. Best features come in handy ...Such as the check in rewards for visits at participating venues. To the social status, and awards for rankings. One thing am not keen on. Is the image share. Within app—taking images, then resulting with yelp insignia all over the image one takes. What’s up with that? In a way that feature has discouraged me from taking images. No biggie. In all this app is fun to use and gives me incentives to continue using it! Thanks Yelp!

I've been a very frequent business traveler for over 20 years. In that time I've been my experience seeing the country grow more and more interesting. Yelp has made the travel more interesting and fulfilling than ever before. In fact I always find anything from gasoline to entertainment using Yelp. I've learned the ins and outs of interpreting reviews and I cannot remember a poor experience after finding a place with Yelp. It's become my right hand when it comes to nearly every commerce transaction in my life. Yelp is a remarkable tool for finding excellent food, service, and entertainment. I will always recommend it to friends and always use it at every opportunity.
😍😍😍
by Samsk1201 on 2017/09/13 15:32
I don't know any other app that does the job like yelp, and there's a reason to that. Yelp is unique in that there's a whole community that shares their experiences about restaurants all over the world. The app is so easy to use and user-friendly. I couldn't have asked for more from an app, and I believe this app will change your life, at least in the area of knowing what restaurants and joints to check out. Although the ratings and reviews may be opinionated, you're better off trying a new restaurant with the affirmation of good reviews on yelp, than trying one on your own whim (from experience). So if you haven't tried yelp, which is highly unlikely, then go ahead and give it a shot.
Yelp Exposes Bad Business & Scammers
by Kingof4rst on 2019/02/19 16:16
I am glad this app exists. In today’s world, unfortunately, there are many businesses who take advantage of customers. Businesses can’t alter or change the bad things they have done on Yelp and holds them accountable! They are like the police of the businesses for consumerism! Totally support this type of honestly and accountability from consumers and others. For the business owners who get mad or disagree, maybe you should check yourself! It’s too bad they didn’t have an app for the businesses who treat employees bad for future prospects, who are looking for work. For the businesses who do their consumers right thumbs up to you ! Keep up the good fight! Keep the businesses honest!! Thumbs up to yelp!!
My go to for out of town travel
by CorsonClan on 2020/12/30 23:55
I love Yelp and so does my crew. We typically find ourselves out of town quite a bit between my son’s hockey games and my daughter’s horse shows plus vacations. Whenever we travel (at least over the last 3-5 years) we look for the non-touristy / local favorites and we turn to Yelp to do it. I have yet to have a bad experience at a place we have found with good reviews on Yelp. Unlike other sites it’s not about what pics you are posting - it’s about the actual establishment and how much folks like or dislike it. Based on the reviews you can tell who is generally grumpy and who is trying to steer their fellow man kind in good directions. I highly recommend Yelp!!!
pointless
by ItsTori_0103 on 2017/12/12 23:14
so if i’m looking on my phone for something and don’t have yelp its basically pointless for me to even try. and then again i’m seeing that honest reviews are being shot down by yelp to help save companies reputations? so why would i even trust the app? the app makes it so hard for me to find actual information about a place without being redirected to this screen being prompted to download an app that isn’t 100% honest and will feed me only what it wants me to know about some restaurant or some dog park where i just want to see some pictures. Advice to apple and yelp. make information a choice not a prompt to download some stupid app. it makes it so inconvenient and ill never want to use my iphone again to look things up on maps or anything. id be happy running another app or another system to get around this horrible way of trying to get people to download every app you promote.
It Takes a Village

We have traveled all over the world, and thanks to Yelp, our experiences are getting better and better. The Yelp community has some terrific people who provide honest reviews. Because of this, we have not had a bad meal (while traveling) for 2-3 years! In fact, my daughter’s dance group always asks where we are going to eat because Yelp has been so wonderful about helping me find hidden gems in strange cities. The Yelp community has also provided us with some new experiences - reviewing restaurants and shops in areas we would not have ventured on our own. Thank you all for helping me save time and money, and for helping me to provide unique experiences for my kids.
Customer service needs a little more aloha!
by daohana1 on 2020/12/05 21:15
Just called to try and place an order to support this place. Not always on this side of the island so we were looking forward to the food here. Kalbi and hamburger steak was ono the last time we were here. Too bad sistah was sassy and couldn’t handle some simple questions. When asking my daughter if she wanted a mini or regular, the person taking the order went “oh my gosh!” With a heavy sigh! I guess she didn’t realize she said it out loud or something, but it wasn’t like she was trying to hide it either. Asked if there was someone else to speak to to take my order. She replied there was none. So I told her I’d call back. I’m hoping to get someone with some aloha. I hope no one else has to deal with this kind of customer service from here today. Keep the aloha alive!
Unfair reviews
by dogs4pkc on 2019/10/12 04:02
I don’t understand how they can say they aren’t biased. There is often no rhyme or reason why some reviews are selected as “not recommended” and others, all factors the same, are left in recommended. I frequent a specific business often, my one luxury is getting acrylics done on my nails. Yet when I have more to say, instead of allowing it to post as an update, as they do for other customers, they separate the updates and post it under not recommended, leaving only the latest update. When I sort the reviews by the most recent first, even though the update is 4 days ago, it does not appear as recent. Since so many reviews are posted under not recommended, even those with 5 stars, it causes me to pause and question what is really going on. I’ve researched all their explanations but haven’t seen them applied.
Medical clinics
by KTdid12345 on 2019/05/30 16:37
You must take medical providers/facilities off yelp. This app is single handedly demoralizing the practice of medicine in ways you will see clearly until physicians practices are owned by pharmaceutical / insurance companies / Coca Cola (any other corp w the funds to lead marketing). Hospitals are now branding. Emergency rooms are branding. This is unavoidable for facilities who wish to stay afloat in practice where reimbursement is becoming directly dependent on public opinion. Soon to be indistinguishable from retail, food industry, politics. Make no mistake this evolution is already happening behind the scenes. You must consider the level of corruption to which you are leaving medicine vulnerable, and what this means for patient care in the near future. You are industry leaders in this arena and have the opportunity to cap the damage and take bold ethical position early. Medicine was never meant to be ‘reviewed.’ If you continue to treat as a retail provider, this is what this practice will become.
Honesty
by Sherrie Ann on 2017/10/23 16:56
That’s what you get when you read a yelp review. No one gets paid to write a review unlike an advertisement. Remember how it used to be? You’d go to a place, the service, the products or the food were terrible, and you let your friends know about it. The owners never got any feedback generally and you just never went back. Yelp gives consumers a voice and owners constructive knowledge of how to improve. It’s no wonder that reviews can either boost or detract from Sales. It gives power to the consumer. Let’s face it, Honolulu is not cheap. And if you’re going to pay that much for something, you have the right to have something that is delicious, experience good service and a good product.
BIG BIG BIG LIAR
by Doan Grace on 2018/11/06 09:45
Money is their first priority. They don’t care how hard people work to deserve their 5-star review. They have no glue or point except for deleting 5-star review just because you don’t pay for their ads. They told me that they treat those paying customers and non-paying customers the same, but I think that many business owners out there already experienced and knew Yelp is big liar. When you pay, they keep all the 5-star review and pull it to the 1st page. When you don’t pay, they delete those 5-star and pull the 1-star up. What such a dishonest business like that !!!!!! Please please please BOYCOTT YELPPPPPP. There are still google and facebook which are amazing for both customers and business owners. One more thing, they already delete our 23 5-star reviews on our page just because we refuse to pay a penny to them !!!!!! Be aware guysssss, don’t be fooled by this dishonest business !!!!!!
Use it all the time
by Mkematt on 2019/04/26 21:27
Yelp rocks. I use it when I travel, when guests are in town, when it’s date night, just to see what’s new, etc. so I use it a lot. At least a few times a week most weeks, and sometimes multiple times a day. I find it's better than any of the other services like it by a mile. It’s outlasted nearly all the other restaurant review sites for a reason. It’s not perfect, like when I’m in a big city with a ton of options, lots of times I find there are one or two places missing from Yelp. Or if you’re in a small town you’ll find a highly rated place that really isn’t all that great. But that’s hardly Yelps fault. The app rocks. I love it and use it all the time.
So much fun!
by Loonie Lisa on 2019/01/09 03:27
I adore learning about new as well as old local, especially small independent business'. And this is just the place for doing so. Like many I have always taken pictures of my good food. So I continue to go through all my digital photo files finding photos and writting reviews. Some say they 'hide' the unfavorable reviews. But I only want to know of the good anyway. We all have a bad experience from time to time. I just read a bad review of Trader Joe's in Spokane. It was months old and hadn't been hidden? Anyway it is a great way to be in the know and is really fun to participate. Be a foodie, pretend to be a critic, post fun photos and even make friends who enjoy similar finds. So far oh so good.
Great app, but some very annoying glitches...
by Alexkaay on 2019/04/05 08:53
Yelp is an awesome app but there are some glitches but that make it super irritating to use! The main one is that every time I go to look at a restaurant’s photos, it’ll freeze after a minute or two and then I have to close the app and restart it and search all over again. This happens every time I use the app without fail. Another glitch is when I search for a restaurant on Google, find their yelp page, click on the link and a message prompts asking if I want to open the page in the Yelp app. I click ‘yes’ and the app opens but not the restaurant’s page. I have to then search for it, which is not a huge deal but kinda defeats the purpose of me opening it on Yelp rather than simply clicking on the page from Google.

Almond chicken too rough to eat.

Good riddance abs just be cautious when you use Cox, they’re always trying to make more money for nothing better..

by dentist headache. on 2021/01/19 15:04
DO NOT GO THERE.

Thank you!!!!

by Ganesha yogi on 2021/01/18 16:30
When I travel, Yelp usually will help me find some great places.

Seems like a shady practice standard Yelp.

by annoyed18282 on 2021/01/18 12:31
I dont want the app, I want a browser friendly website.

I do not feel like they are taking my health seriously and therefore this long time customer will NOT be back. and I’m not exaggerating folks No one in the back from the cooks to the prep persons, to the chick talking the whole time she was making bread wear mask at all!

Shame on both Yelp and Apple for permitting this kind of behavior.

by bisato madd on 2021/01/17 19:45
Tried to call for 20 mins.

Way too much food but their menu was so delicious it was hard to narrow it down. Highly recommend.

YELP DISCRIMINATIION!!!
by Inchik1981 on 2021/01/17 07:45
I have Yelped for the past 10 years and left good reviws and bad reviews depending on the experience I had with the restaurant or an establishment I have been dealing with.

Love it!
by LauralynCaramagno on 2021/01/11 20:44
Being Yelp elite, I use Yelp everyday, everywhere I go.

I will always recommend it to friends and always use it at every opportunity.

by Samsk1201 on 2017/09/13 15:32
I don't know any other app that does the job like yelp, and there's a reason to that.
I highly recommend Yelp!!!
pointless

so if i’m looking on my phone for something and don’t have yelp its basically pointless for me to even try. and then again i’m seeing that honest reviews are being shot down by yelp to help save companies reputations? so why would i even trust the app? the app makes it so hard for me to find actual information about a place without being redirected to this screen being prompted to download an app that isn’t 100% honest and will feed me only what it wants me to know about some restaurant or some dog park where i just want to see some pictures.
