I have been going to this salon for many years. My daughter who has spina bifida and is paraplegic has come too. These women have done our mani / pedi’s for years with no issues at all. They have always been kind and accommodating and with awesome service.

We have visited Rome two times and this was the first time we came to eat dinner at La Locanda di Bacco the food was GREAT and the service was excellent the ambience is very nice and the servers are very personable. I recommend this restaurant for everyone who visits Rome.

This was our first time dining here. Great curb appeal and the fact that they had valet parking caused us to come in. Upon entering we were esthetically pleased and were immediately escorted to a table. Drinks took a while but when the manager, Emily, heard that we had been waiting she immediately addressed the issue and was there to manage our table the rest of the time we were dining. Four of us all ordered different meals and they were all delicious. Great mimosas and the had a bread pudding smothered in bourbon that was amazing. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and indeed we were. With a manager like Emily running this restaurant you can’t go wrong. She makes sure that everyone has an amazing experience. Don’t miss out on the ambiance, service, and great food!!

I follow on Instagram and have been wanting to try Bacon and Butter for a long time. You did not let me down today. I took my older children there from the airport and we were all very happy with all our meals. The kitchen was very professional and so was the waiters. Standing room only outside. I am so glad we got there early. See you again soon.

DON’T EVER PURCHASE RAW COINS FROM SKYLINE COINS!!! Even coins in Capital holders can be open and cleaned. Since they have plastic screws that can open up the case itself and the customer will never know what’s believed to be untouched coins. To think this business is supported by Coin World is appalling. Maybe this is something Coin World Staffer’s should be alerted to. After all Coin World is a legitimate and trustworthy business but not if they support con artist businesses like this. Oh it is actual true that there is no one person to communicate with at Skyline Coins and their fastest response on (CONTACT US) on their webpage is if your dissatisfied simply send back the coins purchased. Can’t really do that once the customer has had the coins graded, only to have them returned as “Cleaned” (92). In some cases they won’t even encapsulate these scrubbed harshly coins. Stand clear of this place if your an honest coin collector. Always know it’s best to buy coins you can hold and see in your hand. Pictures never expose flaws. Happy Collecting
Hair extensions fell out after shampoo.

The stylist “Pulled” my hair to the point I had to scream at him to stop. Applied conditioner to my hair extensions which caused them to fall out right after the shampoo. Then he kept some of my extensions and never return them. This was my first visit and my last. I ended up walking out I was so disgusted with my stylus attitude. If you have hair Extensions I would definitely not go to Drybar!

Food is usually very good. Service on the other hand, not good.🙁 I had Becky, the manager, she was awesome as usual. Always a smile! Only one other waitress was smiling, looking like someone I would enjoy having wait on me.( blond girl, hair in ponytail). The gal seating people was very unfriendly, the only other person smiling and pleasant was the cashier. This has always been a go-to, not sure I’ll be back.🙁 I grew up in the food service industry, Becky should stand back and watch her staff, and not accept anything less than what she brings.

I had a problem with my air conditioning and cold at 7:30 AM on a Saturday morning. My usual service company, for the previous eight years, told me that they were closed for the weekend because of a family emergency. Must be a small company. Although I have never been a customer of Arlinghaus’s in the past, they responded very promptly and had a technician out within four hours. He quickly located and fixed the problem and the entire service call and repair was very reasonably priced. I am switching my heating and cooling maintenance to them.

These people really know their stuff! Very friendly and I will continue to use them. I even have my sister from Spruce Pine coming to bring her and her boyfriends things. A leather jacket , a belt and 3 pairs of shoes; one of them being his work boots. They are almost 2 hours away from their store. Yes they are that good! They will go out of their way to see that you are very happy.

Ordered a tuna sand- had to request the bread toasted and when some men came in after me the woman started their orders while I waited for the other worker to return to finish my sandwich as she also finished the men’s too. I had to wait for my sandwich until she finished the customer behind me. The only thing I can think is I am not local and I am a woman. I suggest you go across the street toWendy’s.

We purchased seats F 1 F 2 it was right on our phones but yet we were the ones that had to leave so beware of this cause there’s no customer service whatsoever !!

I was desperate and had sewer water backing up into my house. They gave me an estimate that included taking up plants/bushes and equipment. They didn’t take up any bushes and only used 2 guys with shovels. They way over charged me. Don’t hire them.

You can’t read Yelp reviews online without it wanting you to switch to the app. Well, fine. But they update it constantly so first, you have to update the app before you can continue reading. Then, once it’s updated, you open it, and it just brings you to the start page, instead of where you were originally reading reviews. This app has aggravated me more than any others I regularly use.

We like Yelp and use it a fair amount BUT it needs to allow half-star ratings! For me 5-stars are reserved for the very best with many places deserving mid-4 but not as low as a 4. Same goes for 3 to 4 star range - 3 being too low but 4 being too high.

Don’t go to this place if you’re any other color than white or a cute chick. You will not get in. My friends were harassed physically! My friend was African American and not allowed in because his “black Jordan’s”. Because of this a friend tried to leave the line and the security guard had the audacity to grab her! Then denied nicely dressed Indian men entrance to their establishment. You’re not the police force and you should most definitely not put hands on people who are are trying to avoid such a ridiculous establishment. You should be more public with your dress code if you wish to place rules and regulations.

This week I visited 24 Hour Fitness , in Ventura at the Pacific View Mall, to take a tour. I was told that due to liability issues I would need to fill out two forms on their computer sharing my personal contact information and more. I was hesitant. I asked how this info would be used and strongly said that I did not want to be contacted or emailed. I was assured that I wouldn’t be. They also took my driver’s license and wouldn’t return it until I had listened to their entire sales pitch. I reminded them that I came to see the pool and bikes only. It was a horrible visit. I wasn’t heard and my wishes were not respected. I have tried to unsubscribe from the emails that I am receiving daily and cannot. An error message blocks it every time. I called and spoke to Jazmin who gave me the tour and reminded her that I did not want to receive emails and she said she would speak to a superior and stop them. The emails keep coming. I regret the visit but am glad I checked out the facility. I felt it was dark and the layout congested. I much prefer the gym I am at. I definitely don’t want a membership where the team doesn’t listen to, or support, the interests of members, or prospective members .

Patrick from the Oceanside store is the MAN!!! We purchased a new refrigerator that was installed on a Sunday. Unfortunately the compressor on our new purchase gave out on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm as we were having $1,400 in food was being delivered for an event at our club the next day. We called the Oceanside store in a panic Patrick had another refrigerator delivered to us by 9:00 pm on. Thursday night. We are a customer for life and a fan of Patrick for life as well.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a night time bar in my life, some younger White bouncer choke slammed my friends girlfriend to the ground. All because he thought she took a hit of her vape inside the dance floor which never happened, he gave us a warning and at most 10 seconds later he ran up and choke slammed her to the ground for absolute no reason. Charges will be filed and we will never be coming back

Walmart In Lockport needs much professional attention. Inventory is always low, or depleted. Lack of employees staffed, or training & rudeness at its best. Cashiers that do not know how to do transactions. Customers walking away because their debit or link cards rejected because of poorly staffed undertrained cashiers. Store isn’t clean either. All areas!!!! Help fix this store for the locals that were so happy to see Walmart move in.

Worst place ever to live. Henderson show up on a regular basis to this complex dealing with domestic violence of a neighbor living directly underneath me. I came home on 4 different occasions to experience guns drawn and front door kicked to a neighbor living directly across from. I had management call me about a neighbor they were trying to evict wanting me to come in and fill out a statement. The management team are inadequate and definitely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this apt complex to anyone. They allow any type of person to move in just to have a filled complex not taking into consideration the safety of there other tenants.

I have visited Via Italia many times and I am never disappointed with the quality of the food. The food is hot and very good. The service is always ready to answer to what ever you need and offer two for one drinks at certain times. If you are there for lunch or dinner try this place and see Joanna who will insure you have a great meal.

My friend and I staying at Hotel Nichols across from restaurant told food was great. As soon as we walk in greeted by I presume owner/manager. As we sat down, got passed by several waitresses, everyone avoiding eye contact. No one offered us a menu fur 15 min until other told one of then to wait on us. Several others walked in got seated and waited on immediately, we still waited for menu or even someone to acknowledge us except owner. Funny thing, I am Hispanic and never seen this poor of service. Food was great!

You can never ever find a CLEAN shopping cart. They are dirty or trash in them always. They are out of everyday items daily. This week it was Yoplait yogurt, Tang, Countrytime lemonade, eggs. Among other grocery items. The front of the store had dirty and full trash can with spills on the front sidewalk. This is the entrance to your store. This is your first impression. Target we shop at your store every week and we expect a clean and well stocked store. It’s time for a change. There are other places to shop but we prefer Target since you are convenient. I must say the pharmacy goes above and beyond in their customer service. I give them a ten.

I never... I mean never leave reviews, but when I say that the staff at the Fairfield in Arlington is amazing that’s an understatement! The team here is so friendly and accommodating it’s refreshing! They have made my stay here so comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who works in customer service to remind oneself how great people feel when you treat them like guests! I gathered the name of the manager on duty, Nestor, and if he was the gentleman who helped me I must say that the Marriott group is privileged to have such a wonderful employee and I hope he is valued for his positive energy and great staff!!!

It’s been a number of years ago but my husband & I visited the Plymouth area. I had read in AAA book about a monument designated to the people who came over on the Mayflower. We visited this monument & were not disappointed. It is tall & beautifully carved. My ancestors names were on the sculpture along with others who made the trip. It’s amazing when you read about the Pligrims. So many died getting here. America was founded on struggling & working hard. We’ve had to fight for freedoms & still do. This is an amazing tribute to the tenacity that Americans had & still have. Good to know our history. Worth seeing it!

I had the absolute best popcorn and wanted every to know about this delicious company!! I have had the Tuxedo, the Holiday favorite. It has white and dark chocolate drizzled over the Carmel . It was beyond yummy! Today I purchased the Jalapeño Cheddar and was equally as impressed!! I had to put it away so I could enjoy while watching football tonight! I also wanted to mention it’s very affordable 😃

I went to Firestone’s for my birthday yesterday thinking that I would have a delectable meal. This place has gone downhill in the past year. We ordered oysters and asked for crackers to go with it. We were served about 8 oyster crackers to go with two dozen oysters. When asked for other types of crackers we were told that there were no other types of crackers in the restaurant. The waitress never brought the second drink we had ordered and we had to request bread for our meal. The goat cheese on the salad was non existant. The oysters were subpar (supposedly the chef selection). We were not given the opportunity to select the ones we wanted. . Other issues included loud patrons.

I took my cat in for a check up and get her vaccinations up to date Thursday 4:00 apt. While there the staff was actually very nice. A day after getting her in I had a follow up call to see if she had any reactions to the vaccination. I was at work, to my knowledge no. When I got home my cat had thrown up. I figured I would give it a day to see if this was a fluke or due to over eating. Didn’t want to overreact and assume ( especially since I have two kitties and didn’t see her get sick first hand). The next day she got sick again but it was past business hours (6pm on a Saturday) so I called Sunday when they opened(~11 am) and let them know she was having a reaction and could not keep food down. The customer service rep told me to go someplace else, they were too busy. Even though it was less than 72 hours since they saw her it was no longer their problem. I told her this didn’t sit right with me and I wanted the office manager to call. The woman would not give me the office managers name. Told me I could only speak to clinical. What was a clinical person going to do? At this point they already turned me away. I ended up having to call Pet Co to get a name to talk to about holding their staff accountable. After scouring the web I sent an email to their main address hoping someone would call. I ended up taking my cat to the emergency room because thrive would not see her. They gave her fluids and anti nausea and determined it was a bad reaction to the meds. Later in the week I got a call from the officer manager, Janet- where she openly talked about how they had issues with their call center and it was not right they sent me away. She said she would “try” to see what she could do to get my $220.00 er visit reimbursed since they should have seen me if my cat had a reaction. The whole time she kept saying they stand by their services and should have made time to get me in. So I asked to be reimbursed for my bill to go elsewhere. A couple days later I got a call that corporate would do nothing because ~65 hours is too late for them to help with a reaction, they refunded me $25.00. Not even three days had passed and when push came to shove thrive would not stand behind their manager claim that they should have made the time to see me as opposed to sending me off. My cat was no longer their problem. Yet no one told me during my apt if there was a reaction after x hours don’t call them. I was simply told if there was a bad reaction to call... glad I did, because they did nothing. The ER place I took my cat said to start bringing her to them, that if any animal has a reaction to a vaccine they will waive the visit fee. When I told them less than 72 hours later thrive directed me to go someplace else their staff was appalled. They fact they didn’t even put a dr on the phone to walk though my options was a “disgrace and lack of care” is how their vet described it. It’s rare for a pet to have a reaction but not unheard of. Thrive “tried” to help but ultimately told me to “go someplace else... they didn't have time.” You May save some money on your initial visit, but god forbid something happens they’re not going to help. They will send out away if it’s not within their time (still have no clue what that timeline is). Go someone else where they will take the time to address your pets concerns as opposed to pushing you off to someone else. Go read the reviews on the BBB site, there’s a reason they are not accreted and ranked so low. I should have been smart enough to avoid this place, I hope you are.

We just finished a delightful and delicious meal at the Riverhouse and closed the place. 6 of us dined on 6 different entrees. Everyone more than satisfied. Unique fresh ingredients combined to create an amazing meal. Friendly server taking time to chat. We arrived later after visiting Munsen falls and were not rushed at all. Enjoy!! We did!!

The reviews on businesses get removed because they believe that the reviews are fake or illegitimate. Yelp is not big in some towns so the people reviewing are probably real costumers writing honest reviews, but I guess they see them as fake profiles due to them not reviewing places much overtime or having friends added on yelp.

It used to be horrible, all the elevators were broken, and service was the worst, now the new management is great, we have a beautiful lawn and park, flowers, playground and shake shack and taco food tracks come for family picnic nights, movie nights, great families and kids lie here, dog runs, it’s clean and for the price,nothing beats it, the rooms are huge, the one drawback, they seem to test and fix water lines five times a year, so they turn it off for an afternoon, and it happens at least 3-5x every year..other than that, ignore the bad reviews, those should all be from years ago, this place changed a couple of years ago..drastically, for the better, thank goodness..and it’s a wonderful place for young people,old or families
Going down hill with new owners

We loved this place with the old owners. But the new owners have made some changes. The play space is the same and my kid still loves it. But the menu is different and they have much more junk food not only in the menu, but also on display for the kids so it’s a huge fight now when I tell my kid he can’t have Cheetos. I also really miss soup as an option. The biggest change for me is the music. They used to play soft music parents might enjoy. And I could sit and work on my laptop or read while my kids played. Now they play kids music all day and it seems louder though that may just be the distracting nature of kids music. I can only handle so much Baby Shark, We Are The Dinosaurs, and kid pop before my ears start bleeding. And their coffee machine is broken so you have to endure all this with no coffee. The old owner seemed to care about the experience of parents and kids. The new owners have forgotten about the parent experience. With all of the turn over, this place is going downhill. :(

I would give one star but it’s not possible. This was my first time at the shop a few of my coworkers go. When I walked in i sat down and waited for someone to acknowledge me. I let them know that I had an appointment at 3:30 and wanted to get a pedicure. The guy that scheduled my appointment had took another client so he was not ready. Ok boom. A lady comes get me and shows me my chair. She begins asking to choose the package I want. I had one ear piece in and she goes to the back and comes back and tries to throw the neck pillow around my neck. I’m yelling no wait. No hold on she still puts it around my neck. When she does she hits my ear knock my ear piece out in the water. Fast forward I ask for a nail tip she refuses and tells me no ugly. This way better. As she polished my big toe I said see that’s why I wanted a tip and she said no don’t look good. I have never went anywhere where they would not do what y you want. But hey this is a first. When I asked how I would be compensated for my air pod he no longer wanted to do my nails.

Horrible experience. My eleven year old toy poodle was overdue for her grooming because she has been sick and on meds. The staff member was rude from the outset, telling me there could up-charges at their discretion, even though they charge almost $70 as it is. She also mentioned I was lucky they could “squeeze her in”, though I made the appointment weeks ago. I had a bad feeling. I ignored my gut instinct to leave with my dog right then and there. (I already knew I’d never go back there because of their rude attitude.) Instead I left her there to be groomed, and that’s when things became a lot worse. Less than an hour later they called to tell me they cut her and she needed to go to the emergency vet. No apology was offered over the phone. I rushed to pick her up. They handed me my dog, bandaged and half shaven. They still did not even apologize to me. My dog was treated for about a 2 inch cut on her front leg. That’s a big cut for a small dog. Do your pet and yourself a favor, and stay away from there!

Yelp has 0 ways to contact them unless you want to report a specific business or are a business owner. Leaving this negative review is the only way I could think of to contact them about this issue. On some recent update they changed the layout on business pages where they put the phone number and a link to directions on the same line. This cuts off the last 5 digits of the phone number so you cannot see it. For phone users this isn't a problem because you can click and auto call, but for wifi or iPod users it just prevents us from getting the phone number in the app. Worse yet, the phone number is not included on the about page for businesses either which would be an easy fix! I now have to open yelp entries in Safari or google the business to get the phone number. This is really inconvenient and I'm considering deleting the app and just using the website, annoying!!!

I walked in the company nails . The owner was super rude to me . A nice worker was in the middle of my Pedicure at the massage part .she was told to take care of another person and I had to wait for another person for 20 min . They kept pushing me to different people . I asked for a color gel and the woman was rushing me and told me no we are going to use this . These people are money hungry and want to get in the most people they could . They charge just as much as a high end nail salon but there service is horrible . My feet still had to be worked on and they were rude and rushed me . I am in the beauty industry. I know the difference between good service and bad service . I tip well but how many workers am I supposed to tip . I’ll never go back there and I’ll never send my people from industry there . On top of that the woman cutt my Cuticles and I bled .they are still sore . I’m a hairdresser . How am I going to work in my business with sore fingers and open cuts .
Las Margaritas

Last night three friends and I went to Las Margaritas for dinner. We were seated right away and the hostess brought us water and chips. We asked to order drinks and she said she needed to get a waiter. We waited 40 minutes before anyone waited on us. He apologized and offered us all margaritas. The food and service was fair at best. When we finally got our checks the margaritas were included in the price. We asked to speak to the manager saying we would like some type of compensation for our long wait. He never came over, the waiter said that he asked but his manager would not compensate us. We asked why we were charged for the margaritas and he said the manager wouldn’t take them off. We asked again if he would remind the manager of our long wait and he came back giving us each less than a dollar off our bill. He only took 9 cents off one bill. The manager never came over and spoke directly to us. We will not be returning to Las Margaritas again.

This is one of the best apps there is and it’s literally my go to regarding all services. For example nail salons, hairdressers, restaurants and other establishments that offer any type of service or product. It has probably saved me thousands of dollars at this point from avoiding places not recommended. I also have to say most of the reviewers are ON POINT. Whether you’re looking to buy a new car from a “shady dealership” or wanting to try out a new hipster place for lunch- check it out on Yelp first. People provide you literally everything from price points to savings and deals to dishes that are out of this world! Never never never never go to this trap! Well they talk about the Americans “black” when they leave! The owners wife pretends to not speak English when she makes mistakes ! The Owner is evil and no one should ever go here ! The owners wife picked the wrong color off the table between my hands getting done and toes!! She said “ no it the same”😳then messed up the toe nail and wanted to repaint it to match the hands! I said look if the toes match then it’s fine!! Well after saying I don’t have time she grabbed the remover and saturated it remover grabbed my toe and rubbed it off all 4 layers and hand painting !!! Well after leaving the shop cause I was about to karate kick her in her neck! I go back saying now you gotta fix it!! The owner say ,” you NO want to Pay?” I said I already paid over $60 dollars and had an awful job! He said “get out you no come back my store!” So yes they are awful awful and horrible ! Go anywhere else !!!! Never again will they get a dime !!!!

I am ashamed to say that I absentmindedly left my handbag in my carriage. I didn’t realize it until I was 15 minutes away and ready for my second errand of the afternoon. I held myself together ( barely) and went directly to the very busy service desk. Rose (I hope I have the names right) knew just by the look on my face that I was in distress. The carriage person( the worst job in the store)found my handbag and turned it in! I had to identify myself and was given strict instructions not to reward my hero as it was against policy. I did ask his name, (Ricardo) found him, and thanked him for his honesty from the bottom of my heart. So, if you are in the Hamden store and see a big teddy bear of a young man thank him for his honesty and put your carriage back!

Over the past few years I purchased tires for my cars, my wife’s car, and my three children’s cars from Hank’s. I also sent friends. On the surface, Steve, the owner, seems really personable. However, first, he is very untruthful about selling at the lowest price. Easy to dispute, American Tires and Tires by Marc are generally sold at 10 to 12% lower for the exact tire. No big deal. I was naive and trusted Steve’s word. Second, if he does not have your size, he sells you what he has and claims that that was the size you had prior. Very easy to disprove; Calabasas Mercedes verified what I had on the car prior. The tires he sold rubbed on my car Steve lied. A big deal. Finally, he sold me 20 inch tires and wheels for my Mercedes SL55, claiming they were made for my car. I verified with multiple sources that the wheels he sold me were made for American cars, not metric. The wheels could not properly seat, were very dangerous, and did damage to my car. Avoid Hank’s Tires if you value your safety.

Jorge Lopez is the best plumber I’ve ever used! I had a leak in a pipe from the bathroom upstairs that was going down the pipe and leaving outside the kitchen sink wall through the siding. When I saw the puddle outside I called Jorge. Lucky for me my next door neighbor recommended Jorge as he’d used him for a rental house that had some issues. Jorge is fast, efficient, and best of all, THOROUGH and REASONABLY priced compared to other plumbers I’ve used. He is a very analytical problem solver. You will be impressed and satisfied. Best of all, he really will persist until he solves the problem! He also referred me to a good restoration company. He is also personable and a good explainer with patience as he works. I’m relieved that the leak is fixed!!!! He is the owner of the business and works alone.

I travel frequently and one of the hazards of frequent business travel is eating too many heavy meals, just because you don’t have time to find a place and get a look at the menu. Yelp makes it super easy to find a place that’s close, give you the menu, and let you check feedback from customers. Also important: tells you whether place is open or will be closing soon! I was mildly disappointed with the analog version of yelp offered in the recent update; I tried to order it for my previous boss, but they only deliver to loading docks that are open at 330am. Sounds a little sketchy to me. Need business-hour delivery of that 120,000-lb “gift”, yelp!
Map search is flawed

Summary: Map search results on iPhone include areas outside of map boundaries. I have had the Yelp app on several phones over the years and and I’m familiar with the website. I had it on my iPhone 6+ in the past but deleted it to save space about a year ago. Since then I have used the mobile website. I finally got tired of the nag screens telling me to view my search results on the app so I reloaded the app. When I search using map results I get places that are relatively nearby but not on the map. Very irritating to me. If I wanted results from other places I’d move the map or resize it. To Yelp: Stop giving me search results I don’t want or need. I just remembered another irritating thing about this app. Every time you change the search terms it resets the filters instead of keeping the previous ones.
Ocean Hai Restaurant & Wyndham Grand Hotel

We are from California and this is our first visit to Clear Water Beach. And for a number os reasons, some of which are listed below, it won’t be our last. First of all the resort is first class, as well as the staff. Friendly isn’t enough to describe their welcoming helpful service. That was the start. As we were still adjusting to the time change our first several meals at their restaurant Ocean Hai, a most exceptional Asian-fusion restaurant. Forget about labels, everything we ordered was wonderful, and the service terrific. Our first waiter, was there since the hotel opened, our last waiter, Andrew, was his first day there after training. Both were knowledgeable about every detail about each menu item. Very professional. Being from California my wife and I consider ourselves very particular about Sushi and Sashimi. Ocean Hai has a young, exceptional sushi chef. The fish was absolutely fresh. His knife skills were evident in the presentation. The flavor was as good as we’ve ever had. Does Clearwater realize what a treasure it has here? This kind of quality speaks volumes about the skill and experience of everyone behind the scenes.

This is the worst app I have ever dealt with (and I was user for years). Only low class uneducated people would continuously use such an app, telling blatant lies. There are garbage write ups over brief interactions with a business, without actually wanting to resolve what their issue with the business is first. Yelp only cares about numbers, high traffic and increasing their profits and this is not a platform that creates any goodness in this world. If I could give zero stars, I would. I fell for this idiocy in the beginning, ignorant to the real lack of value it actually has in this world. Where did my reviews go? Why are businesses scammed into paying yelp to have their good reviews available to the public? Crazy. I will no longer be a part of the bashing and negativity. I will no longer debase others in a platform that does not allow them to defend themselves properly in the public forum that it is. Google reviews is where it’s at. Sorry yelp. I’m done.
The Floor Store

Went to the Floor Store in West Stockbridge for an expert tile shower install and very disappointed. The tile walls in the shower are installed without waterproofing or a vapor barrier. When I asked about the waterproofing aspect Joe said the backerboard used was designed to get wet and evaporate within the material. Really? I can’t think of one person that would like this concept. This is Fiberrock backerboard that is water resistant, not waterproof. The manufacturer and most tile specialists recommend a vapor barrier. This was a sub-par job performed by someone who was not a tile specialist and no longer works for the Floor Store. In addition, the job was incomplete as there is a 1/4 inch exposed gap at top edge. Grout cracking throughout. The shower has never been used. Joe said the cracking is due to “house settling”. If the Floor Store stood behind the work, they would complete the job. Joe seemed like he wanted to help find a resolution but ultimately he made light of the situation on several occasions and said they did what they were hired to do.

Like many of the previous reviewers, I have experienced the same rotten treatment from Yelp. It is true. They do hide good reviews and post the bad ones. When I finally got a real person to talk to, the said my reviews in "queue" were questionable! There were 5 good, positive reviews and they would not post them! They said that if someone is not a "Yelper" and has only posted one review, it was not "credible"! I told them that my clientele was not of that generation who Yelp, do FB, Instagram, etc. and that if they were nice enough to take the time and learn how to write a review, it should be posted!!! I told them they were discriminating against the older generation as well as my business! I too asked to be removed from Yelp because I want no association with such an outfit and they said it was impossible to be taken off. YET, from people's reviews, they remove US for speaking up!! A big thumbs down for Yelp being so biased!!!!

Let me start by saying my husband and I have been coming here since it opened. We visit quite frequently and it’s the first place we recommend to friends and family visiting the area. We have brought many here to enjoy a nice dinner. In the past, I would definitely rate this 5 stars. The last few times we’ve been it hasn’t been near what it’s previously been and what has kept us coming back so many years. The last 2 visits there were flys flying around our table, and tonight there was a gnat flying around our table. Our service is usually great, but the quality of the food tonight was not acceptable. Not only were both of our meals cold, it was very bland. There was no flavor at all, my soda was flat and our salad was not good. The lettuce didn’t seem fresh and overloaded in dressing. Definitely not the experience we are used to. Sadly we’ll be taking a break for a while.

Woah inception... a review in a review. Before I started using yelp my life had very little meaning. Sure there was the occasional WWE Raw re-run (VHS tape from my childhood). Yet even Randy Savage, or as us true fans call him Randal Mario Poffo, cannot compare to the hours of value YELP has added to my life. For example, I am now the life of any situation I may find myself in. Whether a funeral or a Bat Mitzvah YELP has turned me into a regular good time guy. Little did I know that I was the ugly girl in some late 1990s romcom. All I needed was to put on my YELP glasses and everyone would behold my beautiful face. So if you want to be like me and attain “good time guy” status... Just hit that little download button... your life will never be the same, I promise.

Love the app & the improvements made. Wish they’d make the following updates... 1. When you do a search, please automatically sort by distance, closest to furthest. Then, allow the list to be filtered again by: stars, etc. 2. Please expand your listing to the Bahamas. Your GPS is off and everything falls under Nassau, NY instead of Nassau, Bahamas. If Facebook can find me and I can check in there, it would behoove you to do the same. 3. When someone sends a complement based on a tip or a review, it’s helpful to know the context of the complement as the receiver. “Joe B sent you a complement from you review or tip at XYZ” 4. Please allow the about me section allowing it to be modified within the app. Please add more questions and please allow more characters to the comments. If I try to go online, it jumps to the app. 5. Please trigger notifications when you are active in the Talk section so you know there was a response. I don’t get notifications. I just have to keep checking back. 6. Please require a person to have at least 25 friends, 25 reviews and 25 pics WITH an actual pic before they are allowed to message anyone. I am beyond sick and tired of the stalkers and trolls. Men will troll to hit on women. This is not a dating site and creeps are getting in.
Terrible dinner

Last night I went out for dinner with my husband, son and daughter-in-law. Never again!!!!!! We’re not from the area so when we are in the neighborhood we like spending time going out to eat. Once before my husband took out a burger and he loved it but last night was a horror. My husband ordered a soup that was tasteless. Our burgers were overly done on the outside which I ordered medium. Uchhhhh!!!!!I think the cook was different or else he was sleeping while cooking. The pickles were good as well as the cole slaw. I had to ask the waitress several times for more pickles and cole slaw but it was very busy last night so I really can’t blame her that much. I should have complained about the terrible burgers but I felt bad for the waitress cause she seemed stressed out since it was so busy. I expect to hear a response from management. I spoke with a friend who also ate there last night and she had the same feeling about the food that was served to her last night.

UPDATE: Nothing has changed. I give the app a chance by clicking on a link in safari, knowing I will be redirected. I don’t get redirected to what I was previously reading. This is so ridiculous and tiresome. Clearly y’all don’t want people to use your site. ******* I am so tired of you guys forcing me to use this app while I am browsing on safari. It should be an option we can turn off. And if it's not offered, you do a great job of hiding the ball and making people search to figure it out. My use of this app is a choice. If I want to visit the website, I should not be forced to interact with the app. I thought you would have addressed this by now but nope. One star for tone deafness and really messed up advertising. Also: If you're going to force people to open the app when using safari and looking at the mobile site, make sure it works and people are actually directed to the site they were looking at on safari.
Great food, fantastic service, fast correction

Title says it all, but correction needs elucidation: wanted unsweetened ice tea, but it pulled mango tea. I told the manager, who explained somebody had inadvertently changed the line from the back of the location to the front. She tried to pull the drink from the drive-up window station, but it was also mango tea. She offered to let the line clear by just draining the gallon or so still in the line, but since lunch customers were coming in quickly, I told her I would do it for her, too which she immediately agreed with a huge smile. She wouldn't even let me pay for the drink. Upshot: if a customer is reasonable every good manager will accommodate the Stuart and usually, it is to the customers benefit. Great job, Steffenie.

I will never take my dog there again. It is never clean. I’ve had several experiences there. I ask for bows on each side of her ears and I took one with me so I only had to pay for one she came out with no bows and they kept the one I gave them. When I took her this time. I ask for bows again. When I picked her up they didn’t put any in her hair again. They cut her hair so short they said they didn’t put them in because they cut her hair too short to put them in. They gave them to me. I told them I wanted her hair cut the same. She looked worst when she was done than when I took her. I had an appointment at 5:00 and when I got there the girl that was supposed to cut her hair. Wasn’t there so someone else took my information. And she took her so I could leave. My wife and I looked at a few cars over the Internet and found several we were interested in and contacted Chris Myers about them. I was connected with a salesman Cole Bertran who was very nice on the phone. We set up and appointment last Saturday May 18,2019. He had the cars pulled out front for us to go over. He then showed us another car we may have interest in and we made a decision right away. Cole was not pushy which my wife was very pleased about that. I would like to give Cole a shout out and a 10 on the service scale as a top salesman. I have purchased several trucks at Chris Myers and I must say that Cole was the best salesman I ever felt with here. Thanks Cole for a very good experience while purchasing a vehicle from your dealership.

A couple of weeks back I had the chance to visit planet Toyota in Matteson with my daughter Michaela Sorokas. I was looking for a used car. I did not really have an idea as to what kind or what your car I was looking for. The salesman that helped me was absolutely wonderful, kind, and extremely patient with me! It took me over four hours to make a decision. I was never pressured!! I was shown cars that I had questions on and when I finally decided on a car I was able to take it for a test drive. I could not say enough positive things over how grateful I am to planet Toyota. I have given out recommendations left and right to go visit planet Toyota in Mattson. I am extremely thankful and happy with the purchase I made.
Good but could use improvements

Still my preferred app to check out restaurants. A couple of suggestions. I like that people can check in. It would make more sense if there was an option to geographically base the check ins. Say for example you go a business trip and there was an awesome restaurant you visited but couldn't remember what the name was or where it was located. While you remembered to check in, it was roughly about 3 years ago. You have to spend several minutes scrolling and scrolling through your saved check ins to find the general timeframe of when you went there. More often than not, I will skip over it and it just leads to frustration. Make check ins more useful. The same repetitive questions keep coming up. For attire, answering either casual or formal would generally suffice. I don't think people filter places specifically looking for a divvy or hipster venue. I think one of the more useful things you could add is average wait time and harness the database of loyal users. If you could ask if wait time is less than 5 min, less than 30 min, or greater than an hour for walk ins, that would help users prioritize their list of possible selections. Hope these suggestions make it to the next update.

I’ve been in business for 13 years and never used any advertising to gain new clients from the internet or traditional advertising methods. I get new clients from referrals from current clients. I thought I’d join YELP just to have an online presence. Since that decision 1 month ago, I’ve been promised help with my business listing by Valentina my customer service rep at YELP (never happened). I have received 9 calls from other sites trying to get me to pay money to get my business listing to the top of a google search. I’ve also been charged $118 by YELP but Im not sure why. Valentina assured me I had a $300 credit to give my company exposure. (Randomly put my business at the top of the page when searching for my category of service) When I emailed Valentina, my customer service rep at YELP about the charge, she said she had no idea why I was charged and suggested I contact YELP billing. BOTTOM LINE: Dony join YELP for advertising, it’s a scam!
They keep making their bookmarks feature worse and worse

Who is in charge of this design? I use the bookmarks feature extensively and it has only gotten worse. Now in order to see my bookmarks on the app, I have to select “more” from the menu at the bottom, then select “bookmarks” which doesn’t actually take you to your bookmarks but to the collections feature which is pretty useless IMO and then click “bookmarks”. Fine I’ve lived with that since the last bad update but now you have no way of seeing whether the restaurant is open or closed without having to click on the individual business. You can’t see it from the list or the map anymore at all and it makes bookmarks so much less useful on the fly. I was hoping they would add a feature to show bookmarks by “open now” like you can with the search function but instead they crippled the function even more. This is a huge step backwards

After being in marketing for years I always understand what Yelp is, how it’s great for business, how to set up profiles, what it costs to list yourself on there as a premium account, etc etc. Up until recently I never used the app and never really thought it would be useful to me. I preached about, and helped with developing processes to get consumers to write good reviews.... did I mention for quite a few years? Meanwhile I was over here never writing any reviews myself or using the tool to my advantage! I’ve saved money, visited little places I didn’t know existed and have settled food decision wars in my house. I love Yelp now and told my husband I may be headed toward becoming a full on “Yelper” soon. 🤔😊
Needs to prioritize reviews better

It doesn't make sense that even for places with hundreds of reviews, the app lists reviews in random order... You might see a six month old review on top, followed by one from five years ago, then one from last week, etc. This makes it harder to tell if a place with overall good ratings has gone downhill recently, or if a place with overall bad ones has started improving. About the only way I can see this seemingly random order making sense is when a business suddenly gets a bunch of mostly good or bad reviews due to sketchy reasons - but that likely doesn't happen often. One other comment... I know people complain about how businesses can pay to get listed first, but the app makes it obvious by showing the "ad" symbol etc. and Yelp has to make money somehow.

Today August 2, 2019 I traveled from Fort Lawn South Carolina to Captain Steve’s this is a minimum of a 45 minute drive I admit I had not been to Captain Steve’s in a year or two but have always found it worth the trip today I am very unhappy. I spent a little over $51 travel to 45 minutes in anticipation of the best quality in service of food The one reason outside of the fact the food is and has always been superb was because you got a lot for your money today as I said I spent a little over $51 to get two plates with three items per plate shrimp oysters and scallops on my plate shrimp flounder and deviled crab on the other plate there was not the amount of food that I had planned to get especially for this price I am very disappointed and I will not be back for a while and I want this not to be anonymous my name is Shirley Cooper

I need one improvement made to Yelp. Reviewers need the ability to cast a zero star vote for merchants that fail to provide customer service. In other words, when you walk in a restaurant, and you receive zero greeting, zero signage instructions, no menu, no water, I will be right with you, no acknowledgement even though I’m delivering food right behind you, and no attention after an extended waiting period. Guess what, a zero rating is definitely warranted and in order. To rate higher than zero (1) causes the overall average rating of the restaurant to be inflated and potentially cause another customer to share a similar experience. Agree? To do otherwise, suggests that I should have left some form of monetary tip for having taken up that seat.

My parents have a place in chandler so when we come into town we’re always looking for good places to eat and have a good time. HAS KITCHEN is the perfect combination of both! We came here twice during our four day weekend vacation and got Bridget as our server both times. She’s great, sweet, and knows her stuff. Domenic the manager was such a great guy! Both days he was interacting with guests and making sure they were having a great experience. Food and drinks were SOOOO good! Dj was a awesome touch! The place stays busy but the service wasn’t hindered. Definitely recommend you check this place out. I will say I suggest coming a little earlier maybe 9-10 if you don’t want to wait. But the wait is sooo worth it if you do!

I love yelp because it is an all inclusive app that you can find anything that your looking for, from food to home maintenance. The great thing about it is the reviews and the pictures others post, it tells the true story of what your getting yourself into. I use Yelp for everything to finding places to hangout, to eat and even my vacations locations. Oh wait the best thing about Yelp is the discounts you get for checking in to places that use Yelp to advertise #awesome, I have gotten some good coupons and I like it as well for the badges and status you get for the check ins and reviews. Well I guess you can see I love to Yelp so I hope you become a Yelper yourself it will save you the time and headache trust me.

Use this app often to research anyplace unfamiliar, especially restaurants. I like to see real deal pictures from the customers and not just the dressed up ones they want you to see. I do find reviews can be skewed. Some people just can’t be pleased like complaining about a 30 minute wait at a restaurant on Friday night or a 2 star review because of something that was superficial and likely an honest mistake like putting the appetizer on the wrong check with a party of 3 couples. When taking all this into account I find this app extremely helpful and informative. So far it has helped my family find several favorite local go to spots. We especially rely on it when traveling.

Yelp is quite an amazing app. Many use it to rate first experiences of restaurants, gyms, clothing stores, you name it. Others rate what they have been going to their whole life. Either way, it is a great tool to use in order to understand whether a place you want to check out is good or not. Another bonus to this app is the fact that some businesses are willing to give free product and bonuses just for liking them and leaving a review on yelp. One thing that does confuse me is that a place for show four reviews actually have more than hundred. I'm guessing Yelp either has some algorithm to determine if a review is legitimate or yelp has certain preferences towards certain businesses. Who knows?
I Will Never Shop There Again

About 3 Months Ago my son was racially profiled in this store. He was asked to come to the back of the store because they suspected he was stealing. When he got to the back the store security showed him a picture of a person who the security system caught stealing in the past. The person on camera looked nothing like my son, the only thing they had an common was that they were both BLACK. I was called down to Adams to pick him up by Adams security, a white bald male. When I got there he was standing outside with 2 police officers, when I asked if my son was stealing he said No, but he is banned from the store. Why would he get banned if he was not stealing?? Adams used to be one of my favorite places to shop, but since this incident I will never step foot in there again. My 16 year old was banned for basically no reason at all other then being a young black male. Shame on Adams security (whatever his name is) and shame on Adams!!!

Love this app! Use it often. Yelp has allowed me to further develop my critical and creative thinking! It has sparked the food critic in me. Which in turn helped me cipher between bias and unbiased opinion. A hat off to their development team, for keeping up with updates. Best features come in handy ...Such as the check in rewards for visits at participating venues. To the social status, and awards for rankings. One thing am not keen on. Is the image share. Within app—taking images, then resulting with yelp insignia all over the image one takes. What’s up with that? In a way that feature has discouraged me from taking images. No biggie. In all this app is fun to use and gives me incentives to continue using it! Thanks Yelp!

I don’t ever write reviews, but I feel compelled to about this sham of an app. Every time I’m looking into a business for whatever reason, the top searches all yield the same results: Yelp. Then, in the middle of what I’m trying to read, I’m forced to stop because Yelp wants me to go to their app. After months of this, I relented. Mistake. Not only does the app never have any useful information, but when I find something on the website and then “continue in app” it takes me to a page completely unrelated to what I was just reading! It’s such a scam. Don’t waste your time with this awful app, and don’t waste your time with Yelp! It’s a garbage website, with more ads than info. They obviously make lots of money to have the monopoly on Google searches, and I wish that would change, because all I want to know is who has the best sushi in my area and I might never know. Delete the app before you throw your phone across the room.

I don't know any other app that does the job like yelp, and there's a reason to that. Yelp is unique in that there's a whole community that shares their experiences about restaurants all over the world. The app is so easy to use and user-friendly. I couldn't have asked for more from an app, and I believe this app will change your life, at least in the area of knowing what restaurants and joints to check out. Although the ratings and reviews may be opinionated, you're better off trying a new restaurant with the affirmation of good reviews on yelp, than trying one on your own whim (from experience). So if you haven't tried yelp, which is highly unlikely, then go ahead and give it a shot.
This app is a MUST HAVE if you want your coin spent for a good experience!

I use this app for everything! I tell my friends and family about it. I’m a very adventurous person so I love to try new restaurants, hair salons, nail salons, even night life when I’m in different cities! I don’t like to waste my time or spend my money for service I didn’t enjoy. Since I’ve been using this app faithfully, I can honestly say, I’m never let down. I love how this app lets people take a picture and post about their experience. Rather just reading a review about how great a dish was or how great this hairstylist achieved their haircut or color but can’t see it. Yelp allows every review be personal but very helpful for others. Thank you Yelp!

Three different patrons left our business STELLAR reviews today on Yelp (first time I ever mentioned our presence on Yelp or had their link on our Web site [already removed]). Within a few hours, one of said customers contacts me to let me know her review was pulled by Yelp or made invisible, without reason or explanation. Why? I had no idea for her. Even worse, during the same timeframe, some older gentlemen we’ve never dealt with leaves a terrible, one-star review for us — even though he SPECIFICALLY CITES in his write up that he’s actually talking about an entirely different company with a somewhat similar name... It’s just unacceptable and infuriating... after this realization, I noticed that numerous other positive reviews that have been left by our patrons, were for some reason being made invisible and uncounted by Yelp. In the Cannabis industry (my company is a medical research and education organization), there are too many other resources for reviews available to even acknowledge Yelp. Resources which are UNIMPEACHABLE in credibility, cross-referencing IP addresses, among many other authenticity verifying protocols. This will now be a topic at our regional conference next Monday — I’ve already contacted the president of the Commission for my state, and I will be unequivocally recommending a boycott of Yelp for the entire Cannabis Industry.

That’s what you get when you read a yelp review. No one gets paid to write a review unlike an advertisement. Remember how it used to be? You’d go to a place, the service, the products or the food were terrible, and you let your friends know about it. The owners never got any feedback generally and you just never went back. Yelp gives consumers a voice and owners constructive knowledge of how to improve. It’s no wonder that reviews can either boost or detract from Sales. It gives power to the consumer. Let’s face it, Honolulu is not cheap. And if you’re going to pay that much for something, you have the right to have something that is delicious, experience good service and a good product.

As a business owner I know not every single customer will love you but Yelp lets anyone say WHATEVER they want, even lies with no proof and the business owner can only respond to the review! Yelp will not assist business owners in removing reviews that are lies! I am a Yelp user and I have been a loyal advertiser until today! I received a 1 star review from a customer that was in my store last week, her review is about 10 paragraphs long and contradicts herself multiple times, not only that but what she says is a lie and I have proof but does Yelp care? NO! Does Yelp care that I was screamed at by someone unstable for 30 minutes and I never raised my voice and do they care that she was given a full refund? NO! Does Yelp care that I was told by my other clients in my store and 2 of my employees that I needed to call the police on this woman? NO! Does Yelp care that out of her 19 reviews she has left for other stores, over 10 of them are 1 star? NO!
Gutter guard installation-Joe Britton Roofing and siding

Contacted the above contractor with regards to having gutter guards installed. I used Britton’s roofing approximately 8 months ago for a new roofing. He not only gave me the best price but excellent customer service and the job was completed in one day. I can say the same thing with regards to the gutter guard install. Gutter guard installation occurred approximately 1 week after I had called. Very satisfied with the work performed on both installs. Would definitely recommend Britton’s Roofing. Joe cares about the quality of his work produced and he always makes sure his customer are satisfied with the work performed. I would use this contractor without any reservation for any upcoming work that I need don.
Leaves a lot to be desired

Person from major appliance came to do estimates for replacing all ignition parts for bbq and a new seal for fridge, gave him the original manual with complete parts list! Weeks later cleaner comes (this part was good) and next day repair guy-who apparently did NOT request all the ignators as told at estimate day and says has to order the other ones! To top that off the seal on fridge he left 1/2 inch gap in upper left corner-Wind blows door open as well as air escape!! Call and leave message same day about problem to come back and fix and never a return call on that! Then someone leaves message that will expediate parts still needed and they could not have known about (again-complete list was provided to person who came to look at and told needed all!) Now - still, weeks later, apparently no ‘expedite’ and still not fixed! And had to have someone else correct the fridge seal so door would close with no gap.

I have been going to this salon for many years. My daughter who has spina bifida and is paraplegic has come too. These women have done our mani / pedi’s for years with no issues at all. They have always been kind and accommodating and with awesome service.

We have visited Rome two times and this was the first time we came to eat dinner at La Locanda di Bacco the food was GREAT and the service was excellent the ambience is very nice and the servers are very personable. I recommend this restaurant for everyone who visits Rome.

This was our first time dining here. Great curb appeal and the fact that they had valet parking caused us to come in. Upon entering we were esthetically pleased and were immediately escorted to a table. Drinks took a while but when the manager, Emily, heard that we had been waiting she immediately addressed the issue and was there to manage our table the rest of the time we were dining. Four of us all ordered different meals and they were all delicious. Great mimosas and the had a bread pudding smothered in bourbon that was amazing. They bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and indeed we were. With a manager like Emily running this restaurant you can’t go wrong. She makes sure that everyone has an amazing experience. Don’t miss out on the ambiance, service, and great food!!

I follow on Instagram and have been wanting to try Bacon and Butter for a long time. You did not let me down today. I took my older children there from the airport and we were all very happy with all our meals. The kitchen was very professional and so was the waiters. Standing room only outside. DON’T EVER PURCHASE RAW COINS FROM SKYLINE COINS!!! Even coins in Capital holders can be open and cleaned. Since they have plastic screws that can open up the case itself and the customer will never know what’s believed to be untouched coins. To think this business is supported by Coin World is appalling. Maybe this is something Coin World Staffer’s should be alerted to. After all Coin World is a legitimate and trustworthy business but not if they support con artist businesses like this. Oh it is actual true that there is no one person to communicate with at Skyline Coins and their fastest response on (CONTACT US) on their webpage is if your dissatisfied simply send back the coins purchased. Can’t really do that once the customer has had the coins graded, only to have them returned as “Cleaned” (92). In some cases they won’t even encapsulate these scrubbed harshly coins. Stand clear of this place if your an honest coin collector. Always know it’s best to buy coins you can hold and see in your hand. Pictures never expose flaws. Happy Collecting

The stylist “Pulled” my hair to the point I had to scream at him to stop. Applied conditioner to my hair extensions which caused them to fall out right after the shampoo. Then he kept some of my extensions and never return them. This was my first visit and my last. I ended up walking out I was so disgusted with my stylus attitude. If you have hair Extensions I would definitely not go to Drybar!

Food is usually very good. Service on the other hand, not good.🙁 I had Becky, the manager, she was awesome as usual. Always a smile! Only one other waitress was smiling, looking like someone I would enjoy having wait on me.( blond girl, hair in ponytail). The gal seating people was very unfriendly, the only other person smiling and pleasant was the cashier. This has always been a go-to, not sure I’ll be back.🙁 I grew up in the food service industry, Becky should stand back and watch her staff, and not accept anything less than what she brings.

I had a problem with my air conditioning and cold at 7:30 AM on a Saturday morning. My usual service company, for the previous eight years, told me that they were closed for the weekend because of a family emergency. Must be a small company. Although I have never been a customer of Arlinghaus’s in the past, they responded very promptly and had a technician out within four hours. He quickly located and fixed the problem and the entire service call and repair was very reasonably priced. I am switching my heating and cooling maintenance to them.

These people really know their stuff! Very friendly and I will continue to use them. I even have my sister from Spruce Pine coming to bring her and her boyfriends things. A leather jacket , a belt and 3 pairs of shoes; one of them being his work boots. They are almost 2 hours away from their store. Yes they are that good! They will go out of their way to see that you are very happy.

Ordered a tuna sand- had to request the bread toasted and when some men came in after me the woman started their orders while I waited for the other worker to return to finish my sandwich as she also finished the men’s too. I had to wait for my sandwich until she finished the customer behind me. The only thing I can think is I am not local and I am a woman. I suggest you go across the street toWendy’s.

Will never return to this theater again !! They all act like they have to work for a living ! Then can’t get the seat situation right wow ! We purchased seats F 1 F 2 it was right on our phones but yet we were the ones that had to leave so beware of this cause there’s no customer service whatsoever !!

I was desperate and had sewer water backing up into my house. They gave me an estimate that included taking up plants/bushes and equipment. They didn’t take up any bushes and only used 2 guys with shovels. They way over charged me. Don’t hire them.

You can’t read Yelp reviews online without it wanting you to switch to the app. Well, fine. But they update it constantly so first, you have to update the app before you can continue reading. Then, once it’s updated, you open it, and it just brings you to the start page, instead of where you were originally reading reviews. This app has aggravated me more than any others I regularly use.

We like Yelp and use it a fair amount BUT it needs to allow half-star ratings! For me 5-stars are reserved for the very best with many places deserving mid-4 but not as low as a 4. Same goes for 3 to 4 star range - 3 being too low but 4 being too high.

Don’t go to this place if you’re any other color than white or a cute chick. You will not get in. My friends were harassed physically! My friend was African American and not allowed in because his “black Jordan’s”. Because of this a friend tried to leave the line and the security guard had the audacity to grab her! Then denied nicely dressed Indian men entrance to their establishment. You’re not the police force and you should most definitely not put hands on people who are are trying to avoid such a ridiculous establishment. You should be more public with your dress code if you wish to place rules and regulations.

This week I visited 24 Hour Fitness , in Ventura at the Pacific View Mall, to take a tour. I was told that due to liability issues I would need to fill out two forms on their computer sharing my personal contact information and more. I was hesitant. I asked how this info would be used and strongly said that I did not want to be contacted or emailed. I was assured that I wouldn’t be. They also took my driver’s license and wouldn’t return it until I had listened to their entire sales pitch. I reminded them that I came to see the pool and bikes only. It was a horrible visit. I wasn’t heard and my wishes were not respected. I have tried to unsubscribe from the emails that I am receiving daily and cannot. An error message blocks it every time. I called and spoke to Jazmin who gave me the tour and reminded her that I did not want to receive emails and she said she would speak to a superior and stop them. The emails keep coming. I regret the visit but am glad I checked out the facility. I felt it was dark and the layout congested. I much prefer the gym I am at. I definitely don’t want a membership where the team doesn’t listen to, or support, the interests of members, or prospective members .

Patrick from the Oceanside store is the MAN!!! We purchased a new refrigerator that was installed on a Sunday. Unfortunately the compressor on our new purchase gave out on Thursday evening at 7:30 pm as we were having $1,400 in food was being delivered for an event at our club the next day. We called the Oceanside store in a panic Patrick had another refrigerator delivered to us by 9:00 pm on. Thursday night. We are a customer for life and a fan of Patrick for life as well.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a night time bar in my life, some younger White bouncer choke slammed my friends girlfriend to the ground. All because he thought she took a hit of her vape inside the dance floor which never happened, he gave us a warning and at most 10 seconds later he ran up and choke slammed her to the ground for absolute no reason. Charges will be filed and we will never be coming back

Walmart In Lockport needs much professional attention. Inventory is always low, or depleted. Lack of employees staffed, or training & rudeness at its best. Cashiers that do not know how to do transactions. Customers walking away because their debit or link cards rejected because of poorly staffed undertrained cashiers. Store isn’t clean either. All areas!!!! Help fix this store for the locals that were so happy to see Walmart move in.

Worst place ever to live. Henderson show up on a regular basis to this complex dealing with domestic violence of a neighbor living directly underneath me. I came home on 4 different occasions to experience guns drawn and front door kicked to a neighbor living directly across from. I had management call me about a neighbor they were trying to evict wanting me to come in and fill out a statement. The management team are inadequate and definitely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this apt complex to anyone. They allow any type of person to move in just to have a filled complex not taking into consideration the safety of there other tenants.

I have visited Via Italia many times and I am never disappointed with the quality of the food. The food is hot and very good. The service is always ready to answer to what ever you need and offer two for one drinks at certain times. If you are there for lunch or dinner try this place and see Joanna who will insure you have a great meal.

My friend and I staying at Hotel Nichols across from restaurant told food was great. As soon as we walk in greeted by I presume owner/manager. As we sat down, got passed by several waitresses, everyone avoiding eye contact. No one offered us a menu fur 15 min until other told one of then to wait on us. Several others walked in got seated and waited on immediately, we still waited for menu or even someone to acknowledge us except owner. Funny thing, I am Hispanic and never seen this poor of service. Food was great!

You can never ever find a CLEAN shopping cart. They are dirty or trash in them always. They are out of everyday items daily. This week it was Yoplait yogurt, Tang, Countrytime lemonade, eggs. Among other grocery items. The front of the store had dirty and full trash can with spills on the front sidewalk. This is the entrance to your store. This is your first impression. Target we shop at your store every week and we expect a clean and well stocked store. It’s time for a change. There are other places to shop but we prefer Target since you are convenient. I must say the pharmacy goes above and beyond in their customer service. I give them a ten.

I never... I mean never leave reviews, but when I say that the staff at the Fairfield in Arlington is amazing that’s an understatement! The team here is so friendly and accommodating it’s refreshing! They have made my stay here so comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who works in customer service to remind oneself how great people feel when you treat them like guests! I gathered the name of the manager on duty, Nestor, and if he was the gentleman who helped me I must say that the Marriott group is privileged to have such a wonderful employee and I hope he is valued for his positive energy and great staff!!!

It’s been a number of years ago but my husband & I visited the Plymouth area. I had read in AAA book about a monument designated to the people who came over on the Mayflower. We visited this monument & were not disappointed. It is tall & beautifully carved. My ancestors names were on the sculpture along with others who made the trip. It’s amazing when you read about the Pligrims. So many died getting here. America was founded on struggling & working hard. We’ve had to fight for freedoms & still do. This is an amazing tribute to the tenacity that Americans had & still have. Good to know our history. Worth seeing it!

I had the absolute best popcorn and wanted every to know about this delicious company!! I have had the Tuxedo, the Holiday favorite. It has white and dark chocolate drizzled over the Carmel . It was beyond yummy! Today I purchased the Jalapeño Cheddar and was equally as impressed!! I had to put it away so I could enjoy while watching football tonight! I went to Firestone’s for my birthday yesterday thinking that I would have a delectable meal. This place has gone downhill in the past year. We ordered oysters and asked for crackers to go with it. We were served about 8 oyster crackers to go with two dozen oysters. When asked for other types of crackers we were told that there were no other types of crackers in the restaurant. The waitress never brought the second drink we had ordered and we had to request bread for our meal. The goat cheese on the salad was non existant. The oysters were subpar (supposedly the chef selection). We were not given the opportunity to select the ones we wanted. . Other issues included loud patrons.

I took my cat in for a check up and get her vaccinations up to date Thursday 4:00 apt. While there the staff was actually very nice. A day after getting her in I had a follow up call to see if she had any reactions to the vaccination. I was at work, to my knowledge no. When I got home my cat had thrown up. I figured I would give it a day to see if this was a fluke or due to over eating. Didn’t want to overreact and assume ( especially since I have two kitties and didn’t see her get sick first hand). The next day she got sick again but it was past business hours (6pm on a Saturday) so I called Sunday when they opened(~11 am) and let them know she was having a reaction and could not keep food down. The customer service rep told me to go someplace else, they were too busy. Even though it was less than 72 hours since they saw her it was no longer their problem. I told her this didn’t sit right with me and I wanted the office manager to call. The woman would not give me the office managers name. Told me I could only speak to clinical. What was a clinical person going to do? At this point they already turned me away. I ended up having to call Pet Co to get a name to talk to about holding their staff accountable. After scouring the web I sent an email to their main address hoping someone would call. I ended up taking my cat to the emergency room because thrive would not see her. They gave her fluids and anti nausea and determined it was a bad reaction to the meds. Later in the week I got a call from the officer manager, Janet- where she openly talked about how they had issues with their call center and it was not right they sent me away. She said she would “try” to see what she could do to get my $220.00 er visit reimbursed since they should have seen me if my cat had a reaction. The whole time she kept saying they stand by their services and should have made time to get me in. So I asked to be reimbursed for my bill to go elsewhere. A couple days later I got a call that corporate would do nothing because ~65 hours is too late for them to help with a reaction, they refunded me $25.00. Not even three days had passed and when push came to shove thrive would not stand behind their manager claim that they should have made the time to see me as opposed to sending me off. My cat was no longer their problem. Yet no one told me during my apt if there was a reaction after x hours don’t call them. I was simply told if there was a bad reaction to call... glad I did, because they did nothing. The ER place I took my cat said to start bringing her to them, that if any animal has a reaction to a vaccine they will waive the visit fee. When I told them less than 72 hours later thrive directed me to go someplace else their staff was appalled. They fact they didn’t even put a dr on the phone to walk though my options was a “disgrace and lack of care” is how their vet described it. It’s rare for a pet to have a reaction but not unheard of. Thrive “tried” to help but ultimately told me to “go someplace else... they didn't have time.” You May save some money on your initial visit, but god forbid something happens they’re not going to help. They will send out away if it’s not within their time (still have no clue what that timeline is). Go someone else where they will take the time to address your pets concerns as opposed to pushing you off to someone else. Go read the reviews on the BBB site, there’s a reason they are not accreted and ranked so low. I should have been smart enough to avoid this place, I hope you are.

We just finished a delightful and delicious meal at the Riverhouse and closed the place. 6 of us dined on 6 different entrees. Everyone more than satisfied. Unique fresh ingredients combined to create an amazing meal. Friendly server taking time to chat. We arrived later after visiting Munsen falls and were not rushed at all. Enjoy!! We did!!

The reviews on businesses get removed because they believe that the reviews are fake or illegitimate. Yelp is not big in some towns so the people reviewing are probably real costumers writing honest reviews, but I guess they see them as fake profiles due to them not reviewing places much overtime or having friends added on yelp.

It used to be horrible, all the elevators were broken, and service was the worst, now the new management is great, we have a beautiful lawn and park, flowers, playground and shake shack and taco food tracks come for family picnic nights, movie nights, great families and kids lie here, dog runs, it’s clean and for the price,nothing beats it, the rooms are huge, the one drawback, they seem to test and fix water lines five times a year, so they turn it off for an afternoon, and it happens at least 3-5x every year..other than that, ignore the bad reviews, those should all be from years ago, this place changed a couple of years ago..drastically, for the better, thank goodness..and it’s a wonderful place for young people,old or families
Going down hill with new owners

We loved this place with the old owners. But the new owners have made some changes. The play space is the same and my kid still loves it. But the menu is different and they have much more junk food not only in the menu, but also on display for the kids so it’s a huge fight now when I tell my kid he can’t have Cheetos. I also really miss soup as an option. The biggest change for me is the music. They used to play soft music parents might enjoy. And I could sit and work on my laptop or read while my kids played. Now they play kids music all day and it seems louder though that may just be the distracting nature of kids music. I can only handle so much Baby Shark, We Are The Dinosaurs, and kid pop before my ears start bleeding. And their coffee machine is broken so you have to endure all this with no coffee. The old owner seemed to care about the experience of parents and kids. The new owners have forgotten about the parent experience. With all of the turn over, this place is going downhill. :(

I would give one star but it’s not possible. This was my first time at the shop a few of my coworkers go. When I walked in i sat down and waited for someone to acknowledge me. I let them know that I had an appointment at 3:30 and wanted to get a pedicure. The guy that scheduled my appointment had took another client so he was not ready. Ok boom. A lady comes get me and shows me my chair. She begins asking to choose the package I want. I had one ear piece in and she goes to the back and comes back and tries to throw the neck pillow around my neck. I’m yelling no wait. No hold on she still puts it around my neck. When she does she hits my ear knock my ear piece out in the water. Fast forward I ask for a nail tip she refuses and tells me no ugly. This way better. As she polished my big toe I said see that’s why I wanted a tip and she said no don’t look good. I have never went anywhere where they would not do what y you want. But hey this is a first. When I asked how I would be compensated for my air pod he no longer wanted to do my nails.

Horrible experience. My eleven year old toy poodle was overdue for her grooming because she has been sick and on meds. The staff member was rude from the outset, telling me there could up-charges at their discretion, even though they charge almost $70 as it is. She also mentioned I was lucky they could “squeeze her in”, though I made the appointment weeks ago. I had a bad feeling. I ignored my gut instinct to leave with my dog right then and there. (I already knew I’d never go back there because of their rude attitude.) Instead I left her there to be groomed, and that’s when things became a lot worse. Less than an hour later they called to tell me they cut her and she needed to go to the emergency vet. No apology was offered over the phone. I rushed to pick her up. They handed me my dog, bandaged and half shaven. They still did not even apologize to me. My dog was treated for about a 2 inch cut on her front leg. That’s a big cut for a small dog. Do your pet and yourself a favor, and stay away from there!

Yelp has 0 ways to contact them unless you want to report a specific business or are a business owner. Leaving this negative review is the only way I could think of to contact them about this issue. On some recent update they changed the layout on business pages where they put the phone number and a link to directions on the same line. This cuts off the last 5 digits of the phone number so you cannot see it. For phone users this isn't a problem because you can click and auto call, but for wifi or iPod users it just prevents us from getting the phone number in the app. Worse yet, the phone number is not included on the about page for businesses either which would be an easy fix! I now have to open yelp entries in Safari or google the business to get the phone number. This is really inconvenient and I'm considering deleting the app and just using the website, annoying!!!

I walked in the company nails . The owner was super rude to me . A nice worker was in the middle of my Pedicure at the massage part .she was told to take care of another person and I had to wait for another person for 20 min . They kept pushing me to different people . I asked for a color gel and the woman was rushing me and told me no we are going to use this . These people are money hungry and want to get in the most people they could . They charge just as much as a high end nail salon but there service is horrible . My feet still had to be worked on and they were rude and rushed me . I am in the beauty industry. I know the difference between good service and bad service . I tip well but how many workers am I supposed to tip . I’ll never go back there and I’ll never send my people from industry there . On top of that the woman cutt my Cuticles and I bled .they are still sore . I’m a hairdresser . How am I going to work in my business with sore fingers and open cuts .
Las Margaritas

Last night three friends and I went to Las Margaritas for dinner. We were seated right away and the hostess brought us water and chips. We asked to order drinks and she said she needed to get a waiter. We waited 40 minutes before anyone waited on us. He apologized and offered us all margaritas. The food and service was fair at best. When we finally got our checks the margaritas were included in the price. We asked to speak to the manager saying we would like some type of compensation for our long wait. He never came over, the waiter said that he asked but his manager would not compensate us. We asked why we were charged for the margaritas and he said the manager wouldn’t take them off. We asked again if he would remind the manager of our long wait and he came back giving us each less than a dollar off our bill. He only took 9 cents off one bill. The manager never came over and spoke directly to us. We will not be returning to Las Margaritas again.

This is one of the best apps there is and it’s literally my go to regarding all services. For example nail salons, hairdressers, restaurants and other establishments that offer any type of service or product. It has probably saved me thousands of dollars at this point from avoiding places not recommended. I also have to say most of the reviewers are ON POINT. Whether you’re looking to buy a new car from a “shady dealership” or wanting to try out a new hipster place for lunch- check it out on Yelp first. People provide you literally everything from price points to savings and deals to dishes that are out of this world! If you’re looking for honest and upfront reviews of establishments in your area- this is the app for you!!

Never never never never go to this trap! Well they talk about the Americans “black” when they leave! The owners wife pretends to not speak English when she makes mistakes ! The Owner is evil and no one should ever go here ! The owners wife picked the wrong color off the table between my hands getting done and toes!! She said “ no it the same”😳then messed up the toe nail and wanted to repaint it to match the hands! I said look if the toes match then it’s fine!! Well after saying I don’t have time she grabbed the remover and saturated it remover grabbed my toe and rubbed it off all 4 layers and hand painting !!! Well after leaving the shop cause I was about to karate kick her in her neck! I go back saying now you gotta fix it!! The owner say ,” you NO want to Pay?” I said I already paid over $60 dollars and had an awful job! He said “get out you no come back my store!” So yes they are awful awful and horrible ! Go anywhere else !!!! Never again will they get a dime !!!!

I am ashamed to say that I absentmindedly left my handbag in my carriage. I didn’t realize it until I was 15 minutes away and ready for my second errand of the afternoon. I held myself together ( barely) and went directly to the very busy service desk. Rose (I hope I have the names right) knew just by the look on my face that I was in distress. The carriage person( the worst job in the store)found my handbag and turned it in! I had to identify myself and was given strict instructions not to reward my hero as it was against policy. I did ask his name, (Ricardo) found him, and thanked him for his honesty from the bottom of my heart. So, if you are in the Hamden store and see a big teddy bear of a young man thank him for his honesty and put your carriage back!

Over the past few years I purchased tires for my cars, my wife’s car, and my three children’s cars from Hank’s. I also sent friends. On the surface, Steve, the owner, seems really personable. However, first, he is very untruthful about selling at the lowest price. Easy to dispute, American Tires and Tires by Marc are generally sold at 10 to 12% lower for the exact tire. No big deal. I was naive and trusted Steve’s word. Second, if he does not have your size, he sells you what he has and claims that that was the size you had prior. Very easy to disprove; Calabasas Mercedes verified what I had on the car prior. The tires he sold rubbed on my car Steve lied. A big deal. Finally, he sold me 20 inch tires and wheels for my Mercedes SL55, claiming they were made for my car. I verified with multiple sources that the wheels he sold me were made for American cars, not metric. The wheels could not properly seat, were very dangerous, and did damage to my car. Avoid Hank’s Tires if you value your safety.

Jorge Lopez is the best plumber I’ve ever used! I had a leak in a pipe from the bathroom upstairs that was going down the pipe and leaving outside the kitchen sink wall through the siding. When I saw the puddle outside I called Jorge. Lucky for me my next door neighbor recommended Jorge as he’d used him for a rental house that had some issues. Jorge is fast, efficient, and best of all, THOROUGH and REASONABLY priced compared to other plumbers I’ve used. He is a very analytical problem solver. You will be impressed and satisfied. Best of all, he really will persist until he solves the problem! He also referred me to a good restoration company. He is also personable and a good explainer with patience as he works. I’m relieved that the leak is fixed!!!! He is the owner of the business and works alone.

I travel frequently and one of the hazards of frequent business travel is eating too many heavy meals, just because you don’t have time to find a place and get a look at the menu. Yelp makes it super easy to find a place that’s close, give you the menu, and let you check feedback from customers. Also important: tells you whether place is open or will be closing soon! I was mildly disappointed with the analog version of yelp offered in the recent update; I tried to order it for my previous boss, but they only deliver to loading docks that are open at 330am. Sounds a little sketchy to me. Need business-hour delivery of that 120,000-lb “gift”, yelp!
Map search is flawed

Summary: Map search results on iPhone include areas outside of map boundaries. I have had the Yelp app on several phones over the years and and I’m familiar with the website. I had it on my iPhone 6+ in the past but deleted it to save space about a year ago. Since then I have used the mobile website. I finally got tired of the nag screens telling me to view my search results on the app so I reloaded the app. When I search using map results I get places that are relatively nearby but not on the map. Very irritating to me. If I wanted results from other places I’d move the map or resize it. To Yelp: Stop giving me search results I don’t want or need. I just remembered another irritating thing about this app. Every time you change the search terms it resets the filters instead of keeping the previous ones.

We are from California and this is our first visit to Clear Water Beach. And for a number os reasons, some of which are listed below, it won’t be our last. First of all the resort is first class, as well as the staff. Friendly isn’t enough to describe their welcoming helpful service. That was the start. As we were still adjusting to the time change our first several meals at their restaurant Ocean Hai, a most exceptional Asian-fusion restaurant. Forget about labels, everything we ordered was wonderful, and the service terrific. Our first waiter, was there since the hotel opened, our last waiter, Andrew, was his first day there after training. Both were knowledgeable about every detail about each menu item. Very professional. Being from California my wife and I consider ourselves very particular about Sushi and Sashimi. Ocean Hai has a young, exceptional sushi chef. The fish was absolutely fresh. His knife skills were evident in the presentation. The flavor was as good as we’ve ever had. Does Clearwater realize what a treasure it has here? This kind of quality speaks volumes about the skill and experience of everyone behind the scenes.

This is the worst app I have ever dealt with (and I was user for years). Only low class uneducated people would continuously use such an app, telling blatant lies. There are garbage write ups over brief interactions with a business, without actually wanting to resolve what their issue with the business is first. Yelp only cares about numbers, high traffic and increasing their profits and this is not a platform that creates any goodness in this world. If I could give zero stars, I would. I fell for this idiocy in the beginning, ignorant to the real lack of value it actually has in this world. Where did my reviews go? Why are businesses scammed into paying yelp to have their good reviews available to the public? Crazy. I will no longer be a part of the bashing and negativity. I will no longer debase others in a platform that does not allow them to defend themselves properly in the public forum that it is. Google reviews is where it’s at. Sorry yelp. I’m done.
The Floor Store

Went to the Floor Store in West Stockbridge for an expert tile shower install and very disappointed. The tile walls in the shower are installed without waterproofing or a vapor barrier. When I asked about the waterproofing aspect Joe said the backerboard used was designed to get wet and evaporate within the material. Really? I can’t think of one person that would like this concept. This is Fiberrock backerboard that is water resistant, not waterproof. The manufacturer and most tile specialists recommend a vapor barrier. This was a sub-par job performed by someone who was not a tile specialist and no longer works for the Floor Store. In addition, the job was incomplete as there is a 1/4 inch exposed gap at top edge. Grout cracking throughout. The shower has never been used. Joe said the cracking is due to “house settling”. If the Floor Store stood behind the work, they would complete the job. Joe seemed like he wanted to help find a resolution but ultimately he made light of the situation on several occasions and said they did what they were hired to do.

Like many of the previous reviewers, I have experienced the same rotten treatment from Yelp. It is true. They do hide good reviews and post the bad ones. When I finally got a real person to talk to, the said my reviews in "queue" were questionable! There were 5 good, positive reviews and they would not post them! They said that if someone is not a "Yelper" and has only posted one review, it was not "credible"! I told them that my clientele was not of that generation who Yelp, do FB, Instagram, etc. and that if they were nice enough to take the time and learn how to write a review, it should be posted!!! I told them they were discriminating against the older generation as well as my business! I too asked to be removed from Yelp because I want no association with such an outfit and they said it was impossible to be taken off. YET, from people's reviews, they remove US for speaking up!! A big thumbs down for Yelp being so biased!!!!

Let me start by saying my husband and I have been coming here since it opened. We visit quite frequently and it’s the first place we recommend to friends and family visiting the area. We have brought many here to enjoy a nice dinner. In the past, I would definitely rate this 5 stars. The last few times we’ve been it hasn’t been near what it’s previously been and what has kept us coming back so many years. The last 2 visits there were flys flying around our table, and tonight there was a gnat flying around our table. Our service is usually great, but the quality of the food tonight was not acceptable. Not only were both of our meals cold, it was very bland. There was no flavor at all, my soda was flat and our salad was not good. The lettuce didn’t seem fresh and overloaded in dressing. Definitely not the experience we are used to. Sadly we’ll be taking a break for a while.

Woah inception... a review in a review. Before I started using yelp my life had very little meaning. Sure there was the occasional WWE Raw re-run (VHS tape from my childhood). Yet even Randy Savage, or as us true fans call him Randal Mario Poffo, cannot compare to the hours of value YELP has added to my life. For example, I am now the life of any situation I may find myself in. Whether a funeral or a Bat Mitzvah YELP has turned me into a regular good time guy. Little did I know that I was the ugly girl in some late 1990s romcom. All I needed was to put on my YELP glasses and everyone would behold my beautiful face. Love the app & the improvements made. Wish they’d make the following updates... 1. When you do a search, please automatically sort by distance, closest to furthest. Then, allow the list to be filtered again by: stars, etc. 2. Please expand your listing to the Bahamas. Your GPS is off and everything falls under Nassau, NY instead of Nassau, Bahamas. If Facebook can find me and I can check in there, it would behoove you to do the same. 3. When someone sends a complement based on a tip or a review, it’s helpful to know the context of the complement as the receiver. “Joe B sent you a complement from you review or tip at XYZ” 4. Please allow the about me section allowing it to be modified within the app. Please add more questions and please allow more characters to the comments. If I try to go online, it jumps to the app. 5. Please trigger notifications when you are active in the Talk section so you know there was a response. I don’t get notifications. I just have to keep checking back. 6. Please require a person to have at least 25 friends, 25 reviews and 25 pics WITH an actual pic before they are allowed to message anyone. I am beyond sick and tired of the stalkers and trolls. Men will troll to hit on women. This is not a dating site and creeps are getting in.
Terrible dinner

Last night I went out for dinner with my husband, son and daughter-in-law. Never again!!!!!! We’re not from the area so when we are in the neighborhood we like spending time going out to eat. Once before my husband took out a burger and he loved it but last night was a horror. My husband ordered a soup that was tasteless. Our burgers were overly done on the outside which I ordered medium. Uchhhhh!!!!!I think the cook was different or else he was sleeping while cooking. The pickles were good as well as the cole slaw. I had to ask the waitress several times for more pickles and cole slaw but it was very busy last night so I really can’t blame her that much. I should have complained about the terrible burgers but I felt bad for the waitress cause she seemed stressed out since it was so busy. I expect to hear a response from management. I spoke with a friend who also ate there last night and she had the same feeling about the food that was served to her last night.

UPDATE: Nothing has changed. I give the app a chance by clicking on a link in safari, knowing I will be redirected. I don’t get redirected to what I was previously reading. This is so ridiculous and tiresome. Clearly y’all don’t want people to use your site. ******* I am so tired of you guys forcing me to use this app while I am browsing on safari. It should be an option we can turn off. And if it's not offered, you do a great job of hiding the ball and making people search to figure it out. My use of this app is a choice. If I want to visit the website, I should not be forced to interact with the app. I thought you would have addressed this by now but nope. One star for tone deafness and really messed up advertising. Also: If you're going to force people to open the app when using safari and looking at the mobile site, make sure it works and people are actually directed to the site they were looking at on safari.

Title says it all, but correction needs elucidation: wanted unsweetened ice tea, but it pulled mango tea. I told the manager, who explained somebody had inadvertently changed the line from the back of the location to the front. She tried to pull the drink from the drive-up window station, but it was also mango tea. She offered to let the line clear by just draining the gallon or so still in the line, but since lunch customers were coming in quickly, I told her I would do it for her, too which she immediately agreed with a huge smile. She wouldn't even let me pay for the drink. Upshot: if a customer is reasonable every good manager will accommodate the Stuart and usually, it is to the customers benefit. Great job, Steffenie.

I will never take my dog there again. It is never clean. I’ve had several experiences there. I ask for bows on each side of her ears and I took one with me so I only had to pay for one she came out with no bows and they kept the one I gave them. When I took her this time. I ask for bows again. When I picked her up they didn’t put any in her hair again. They cut her hair so short they said they didn’t put them in because they cut her hair too short to put them in. They gave them to me. I told them I wanted her hair cut the same. She looked worst when she was done than when I took her. I had an appointment at 5:00 and when I got there the girl that was supposed to cut her hair. Wasn’t there so someone else took my information. And she took her so I could leave. She didn’t even smell like she had a bath. There is no one there to supervise.

My wife and I looked at a few cars over the Internet and found several we were interested in and contacted Chris Myers about them. I was connected with a salesman Cole Bertran who was very nice on the phone. We set up and appointment last Saturday May 18,2019. He had the cars pulled out front for us to go over. He then showed us another car we may have interest in and we made a decision right away. Cole was not pushy which my wife was very pleased about that. I would like to give Cole a shout out and a 10 on the service scale as a top salesman. I have purchased several trucks at Chris Myers and I must say that Cole was the best salesman I ever felt with here. Thanks Cole for a very good experience while purchasing a vehicle from your dealership.

A couple of weeks back I had the chance to visit planet Toyota in Matteson with my daughter Michaela Sorokas. I was looking for a used car. I did not really have an idea as to what kind or what your car I was looking for. The salesman that helped me was absolutely wonderful, kind, and extremely patient with me! It took me over four hours to make a decision. I was never pressured!! I was shown cars that I had questions on and when I finally decided on a car I was able to take it for a test drive. I could not say enough positive things over how grateful I am to planet Toyota. I have given out recommendations left and right to go visit planet Toyota in Mattson. I am extremely thankful and happy with the purchase I made.
Good but could use improvements

Still my preferred app to check out restaurants. A couple of suggestions. I like that people can check in. It would make more sense if there was an option to geographically base the check ins. Say for example you go a business trip and there was an awesome restaurant you visited but couldn't remember what the name was or where it was located. While you remembered to check in, it was roughly about 3 years ago. You have to spend several minutes scrolling and scrolling through your saved check ins to find the general timeframe of when you went there. More often than not, I will skip over it and it just leads to frustration. Make check ins more useful. The same repetitive questions keep coming up. For attire, answering either casual or formal would generally suffice. I don't think people filter places specifically looking for a divvy or hipster venue. I think one of the more useful things you could add is average wait time and harness the database of loyal users. If you could ask if wait time is less than 5 min, less than 30 min, or greater than an hour for walk ins, that would help users prioritize their list of possible selections. Hope these suggestions make it to the next update.

I’ve been in business for 13 years and never used any advertising to gain new clients from the internet or traditional advertising methods. I get new clients from referrals from current clients. I thought I’d join YELP just to have an online presence. Since that decision 1 month ago, I’ve been promised help with my business listing by Valentina my customer service rep at YELP (never happened). I have received 9 calls from other sites trying to get me to pay money to get my business listing to the top of a google search. I’ve also been charged $118 by YELP but Im not sure why. Valentina assured me I had a $300 credit to give my company exposure. (Randomly put my business at the top of the page when searching for my category of service) When I emailed Valentina, my customer service rep at YELP about the charge, she said she had no idea why I was charged and suggested I contact YELP billing. BOTTOM LINE: Dony join YELP for advertising, it’s a scam!
They keep making their bookmarks feature worse and worse

Who is in charge of this design? I use the bookmarks feature extensively and it has only gotten worse. Now in order to see my bookmarks on the app, I have to select “more” from the menu at the bottom, then select “bookmarks” which doesn’t actually take you to your bookmarks but to the collections feature which is pretty useless IMO and then click “bookmarks”. Fine I’ve lived with that since the last bad update but now you have no way of seeing whether the restaurant is open or closed without having to click on the individual business. You can’t see it from the list or the map anymore at all and it makes bookmarks so much less useful on the fly. I was hoping they would add a feature to show bookmarks by “open now” like you can with the search function but instead they crippled the function even more. This is a huge step backwards

After being in marketing for years I always understand what Yelp is, how it’s great for business, how to set up profiles, what it costs to list yourself on there as a premium account, etc etc. Up until recently I never used the app and never really thought it would be useful to me. I preached about, and helped with developing processes to get consumers to write good reviews.... did I mention for quite a few years? Meanwhile I was over here never writing any reviews myself or using the tool to my advantage! I’ve saved money, visited little places I didn’t know existed and have settled food decision wars in my house. I love Yelp now and told my husband I may be headed toward becoming a full on “Yelper” soon. 🤔😊
Needs to prioritize reviews better

It doesn't make sense that even for places with hundreds of reviews, the app lists reviews in random order... You might see a six month old review on top, followed by one from five years ago, then one from last week, etc. This makes it harder to tell if a place with overall good ratings has gone downhill recently, or if a place with overall bad ones has started improving. About the only way I can see this seemingly random order making sense is when a business suddenly gets a bunch of mostly good or bad reviews due to sketchy reasons - but that likely doesn't happen often. One other comment... I know people complain about how businesses can pay to get listed first, but the app makes it obvious by showing the "ad" symbol etc. and Yelp has to make money somehow.

Today August 2, 2019 I traveled from Fort Lawn South Carolina to Captain Steve’s this is a minimum of a 45 minute drive I admit I had not been to Captain Steve’s in a year or two but have always found it worth the trip today I am very unhappy. I spent a little over $51 travel to 45 minutes in anticipation of the best quality in service of food The one reason outside of the fact the food is and has always been superb was because you got a lot for your money today as I said I spent a little over $51 to get two plates with three items per plate shrimp oysters and scallops on my plate shrimp flounder and deviled crab on the other plate there was not the amount of food that I had planned to get especially for this price I am very disappointed and I will not be back for a while and I want this not to be anonymous my name is Shirley Cooper

I need one improvement made to Yelp. Reviewers need the ability to cast a zero star vote for merchants that fail to provide customer service. In other words, when you walk in a restaurant, and you receive zero greeting, zero signage instructions, no menu, no water, I will be right with you, no acknowledgement even though I’m delivering food right behind you, and no attention after an extended waiting period. Guess what, a zero rating is definitely warranted and in order. To rate higher than zero (1) causes the overall average rating of the restaurant to be inflated and potentially cause another customer to share a similar experience. Agree? To do otherwise, suggests that I should have left some form of monetary tip for having taken up that seat.

My parents have a place in chandler so when we come into town we’re always looking for good places to eat and have a good time. HAS KITCHEN is the perfect combination of both! We came here twice during our four day weekend vacation and got Bridget as our server both times. She’s great, sweet, and knows her stuff. Domenic the manager was such a great guy! Both days he was interacting with guests and making sure they were having a great experience. Food and drinks were SOOOO good! Dj was a awesome touch! The place stays busy but the service wasn’t hindered. Definitely recommend you check this place out. I will say I suggest coming a little earlier maybe 9-10 if you don’t want to wait. But the wait is sooo worth it if you do!

I love yelp because it is an all inclusive app that you can find anything that your looking for, from food to home maintenance. The great thing about it is the reviews and the pictures others post, it tells the true story of what your getting yourself into. I use Yelp for everything to finding places to hangout, to eat and even my vacations locations. Oh wait the best thing about Yelp is the discounts you get for checking in to places that use Yelp to advertise #awesome, I have gotten some good coupons and I like it as well for the badges and status you get for the check ins and reviews. Well I guess you can see I love to Yelp so I hope you become a Yelper yourself it will save you the time and headache trust me.

Use this app often to research anyplace unfamiliar, especially restaurants. I like to see real deal pictures from the customers and not just the dressed up ones they want you to see. I do find reviews can be skewed. Some people just can’t be pleased like complaining about a 30 minute wait at a restaurant on Friday night or a 2 star review because of something that was superficial and likely an honest mistake like putting the appetizer on the wrong check with a party of 3 couples. When taking all this into account I find this app extremely helpful and informative. So far it has helped my family find several favorite local go to spots. We especially rely on it when traveling.

Yelp is quite an amazing app. Many use it to rate first experiences of restaurants, gyms, clothing stores, you name it. Others rate what they have been going to their whole life. Either way, it is a great tool to use in order to understand whether a place you want to check out is good or not. Another bonus to this app is the fact that some businesses are willing to give free product and bonuses just for liking them and leaving a review on yelp. One thing that does confuse me is that a place for show four reviews actually have more than hundred. I'm guessing Yelp either has some algorithm to determine if a review is legitimate or yelp has certain preferences towards certain businesses. Who knows?
I Will Never Shop There Again

About 3 Months Ago my son was racially profiled in this store. He was asked to come to the back of the store because they suspected he was stealing. When he got to the back the store security showed him a picture of a person who the security system caught stealing in the past. The person on camera looked nothing like my son, the only thing they had an common was that they were both BLACK. I was called down to Adams to pick him up by Adams security, a white bald male. When I got there he was standing outside with 2 police officers, when I asked if my son was stealing he said No, but he is banned from the store. Why would he get banned if he was not stealing?? Adams used to be one of my favorite places to shop, but since this incident I will never step foot in there again. My 16 year old was banned for basically no reason at all other then being a young black male. Shame on Adams security (whatever his name is) and shame on Adams!!!

Love this app! Use it often. Yelp has allowed me to further develop my critical and creative thinking! It has sparked the food critic in me. Which in turn helped me cipher between bias and unbiased opinion. A hat off to their development team, for keeping up with updates. Best features come in handy ...Such as the check in rewards for visits at participating venues. To the social status, and awards for rankings. One thing am not keen on. Is the image share. Within app—taking images, then resulting with yelp insignia all over the image one takes. What’s up with that? In a way that feature has discouraged me from taking images. No biggie. In all this app is fun to use and gives me incentives to continue using it! Thanks Yelp!

I don’t ever write reviews, but I feel compelled to about this sham of an app. Every time I’m looking into a business for whatever reason, the top searches all yield the same results: Yelp. Then, in the middle of what I’m trying to read, I’m forced to stop because Yelp wants me to go to their app. After months of this, I relented. Mistake. Not only does the app never have any useful information, but when I find something on the website and then “continue in app” it takes me to a page completely unrelated to what I was just reading! It’s such a scam. Don’t waste your time with this awful app, and don’t waste your time with Yelp! It’s a garbage website, with more ads than info. They obviously make lots of money to have the monopoly on Google searches, and I wish that would change, because all I want to know is who has the best sushi in my area and I might never know. Delete the app before you throw your phone across the room.

I don't know any other app that does the job like yelp, and there's a reason to that. Yelp is unique in that there's a whole community that shares their experiences about restaurants all over the world. The app is so easy to use and user-friendly. I couldn't have asked for more from an app, and I believe this app will change your life, at least in the area of knowing what restaurants and joints to check out. Although the ratings and reviews may be opinionated, you're better off trying a new restaurant with the affirmation of good reviews on yelp, than trying one on your own whim (from experience). So if you haven't tried yelp, which is highly unlikely, then go ahead and give it a shot.
This app is a MUST HAVE if you want your coin spent for a good experience!

I use this app for everything! I tell my friends and family about it. I’m a very adventurous person so I love to try new restaurants, hair salons, nail salons, even night life when I’m in different cities! I don’t like to waste my time or spend my money for service I didn’t enjoy. Since I’ve been using this app faithfully, I can honestly say, I’m never let down. I love how this app lets people take a picture and post about their experience. Rather just reading a review about how great a dish was or how great this hairstylist achieved their haircut or color but can’t see it. Yelp allows every review be personal but very helpful for others. Thank you Yelp!

Three different patrons left our business STELLAR reviews today on Yelp (first time I ever mentioned our presence on Yelp or had their link on our Web site [already removed]). Within a few hours, one of said customers contacts me to let me know her review was pulled by Yelp or made invisible, without reason or explanation. Why? I had no idea for her. Even worse, during the same timeframe, some older gentlemen we’ve never dealt with leaves a terrible, one-star review for us — even though he SPECIFICALLY CITES in his write up that he’s actually talking about an entirely different company with a somewhat similar name... It’s just unacceptable and infuriating... after this realization, I noticed that numerous other positive reviews that have been left by our patrons, were for some reason being made invisible and uncounted by Yelp. In the Cannabis industry (my company is a medical research and education organization), there are too many other resources for reviews available to even acknowledge Yelp. Resources which are UNIMPEACHABLE in credibility, cross-referencing IP addresses, among many other authenticity verifying protocols. This will now be a topic at our regional conference next Monday — I’ve already contacted the president of the Commission for my state, and I will be unequivocally recommending a boycott of Yelp for the entire Cannabis Industry.

That’s what you get when you read a yelp review. No one gets paid to write a review unlike an advertisement. Remember how it used to be? You’d go to a place, the service, the products or the food were terrible, and you let your friends know about it. The owners never got any feedback generally and you just never went back. Yelp gives consumers a voice and owners constructive knowledge of how to improve. It’s no wonder that reviews can either boost or detract from Sales. It gives power to the consumer. Let’s face it, Honolulu is not cheap. And if you’re going to pay that much for something, you have the right to have something that is delicious, experience good service and a good product.

As a business owner I know not every single customer will love you but Yelp lets anyone say WHATEVER they want, even lies with no proof and the business owner can only respond to the review! Yelp will not assist business owners in removing reviews that are lies! I am a Yelp user and I have been a loyal advertiser until today! I received a 1 star review from a customer that was in my store last week, her review is about 10 paragraphs long and contradicts herself multiple times, not only that but what she says is a lie and I have proof but does Yelp care? NO! Does Yelp care that I was screamed at by someone unstable for 30 minutes and I never raised my voice and do they care that she was given a full refund? NO! Does Yelp care that I was told by my other clients in my store and 2 of my employees that I needed to call the police on this woman? NO! Does Yelp care that out of her 19 reviews she has left for other stores, over 10 of them are 1 star? NO!
Gutter guard installation-Joe Britton Roofing and siding

Contacted the above contractor with regards to having gutter guards installed. I used Britton’s roofing approximately 8 months ago for a new roofing. He not only gave me the best price but excellent customer service and the job was completed in one day. I can say the same thing with regards to the gutter guard install. Gutter guard installation occurred approximately 1 week after I had called. Very satisfied with the work performed on both installs. Would definitely recommend Britton’s Roofing. Joe cares about the quality of his work produced and he always makes sure his customer are satisfied with the work performed. I would use this contractor without any reservation for any upcoming work that I need don.
Leaves a lot to be desired

Person from major appliance came to do estimates for replacing all ignition parts for bbq and a new seal for fridge, gave him the original manual with complete parts list! Weeks later cleaner comes (this part was good) and next day repair guy-who apparently did NOT request all the ignators as told at estimate day and says has to order the other ones! To top that off the seal on fridge he left 1/2 inch gap in upper left corner-Wind blows door open as well as air escape!! Call and leave message same day about problem to come back and fix and never a return call on that! Then someone leaves message that will expediate parts still needed and they could not have known about (again-complete list was provided to person who came to look at and told needed all!) Now - still, weeks later, apparently no ‘expedite’ and still not fixed! And had to have someone else correct the fridge seal so door would close with no gap.
