I have traveled with Travelocity dozens of times. Every experience has been exceptional. I love the interactive map function that allows you to see the prices and locations of hotels in your destination city. But what I respect most is how accommodating Travelocity has been. I’m a pain in the butt in that I have canceled many Reservations. Travelocity has been very patient and accommodating with my quirky schedule. They’ve made exceptions and it made refunds when they’ve made mistakes. I love Travelocity

Travelocity, wander wiselly? More like tireless-ly....only after I purchased 3 or 4 deals, did I realize one could register using Facebook! I have 3 or 4 emails associated with different parts of the trip (my mistake), but once you associate the trip with Facebook and sign out....you must do it all over again every time you sign back in. This will be a headache for sure!

Don’t ever use Travelocity and/or their app. In big, bold letters,Travelocity says you will get 15% discount on your hotel stay the first time you use THEIR app to make your booking. Unfortunately, they forget to tell you, unless you read through the terms and conditions, that there is a maximum amount that can be credited to your stay. Very misleading. Secondly, it took their customer support 1 hour and 41 minutes to figure out themselves why their app would not apply the 15% discount. Go to Booking.com. They had what was supposed to be Travelocity discounted price as their main quoted price. My booking was completed in 5 minutes with Booking.com, as opposed to working through the customer service levels at Travelocity for almost 2 hours with no resolution. Darrell

Travelocity outsourcers its customer service to other countries that simply do not understand the American Business person. They are OK with dropping the ball, screwing up reservations, and simply not getting you what you need. I have been left in Miami to sleep in a parking lot because of Travelocity his mistake and then inability to either understand that they cause the problem or their refusal to admit that they caused the problem and just continued me on a Merry go round of telling me that they will book me another hotel and then after 20 minutes telling me that the hotel was not available… And then beginning again with the phrase is there anything else we can help you with as if it was the first time I was calling for a hotel. This company has done this to me in several countries and thanks to American Express I was able to find a place to stay in Puerto Rico when Travelocity screwed up yet again. When I was put into a hotel that cater to only dogs and their owners and stated at the front desk that I had no idea that it was a dog hotel and that I was allergic to dogs Travelocity then canceled my reservation without booking me anywhere else. I was then charged for that hotel and the hotel that I had to get on my own. Travelocity call the hotel the next day and screwed up the situation and made the owner of the hotel believe that I simply checked in and decided to check out for no reason. I had to call myself and speak to the hotel man who is very helpful and gave me a refund. No thanks to Travelocity

I am in China and had to change hotels. Went to Tripadvisor and was redirected to Travelicity to complete my booking. Needed 2 rooms for 2 nights. Booked, paid. Received confirmation. Did not read carefully(shame on me) for 2 rooms for 1 night! This has happened to me before on flight dates getting changed. Costing me 1) aggravation and 2) money Travelocity: there is a BUG in your code. This should not happen without an ‘are you sure you want to change your dates?’ Do yourself a favor: bypass and go directly to the hotel/airline websites.

We went through the extra effort of downloading the app to get the discount on our stay and it didn’t work. Apparently the coupon is only good at “select” hotels. Disappointed because you know that probably means that coupon only works at two obscure hotels in China. Otherwise, the app was okay. A little difficult to maneuver which would have easily been ignored had the coupon work.

Too many errors when trying to search. I had picked an 8 am flight and up until I saw my printed itinerary I noticed it was a 8 pm flight!! So times are messed up on the app. I have multiple problems trying to just even log into my own account which should have been a red flag. Also on the desktop they try to tell you that you get extra 15% off if you use the mobile app however; there is nowhere for you to put a promo code of any sort on the app.

I normally book my trips through this app. I do some price comparisons here and there but largely use this app. We stayed at a hotel recently and I e searched everywhere to write a review but can’t find it anywhere. I had to dig through emails to find my old itinerary to even get the info pulled back up as apparently you can’t look at past trips. Not even those that were a week ago. So even after looking up the itinerary I still couldn’t find a way to leave a review. So my suggestions to improve: have past trips posted or at least able to be found for x number of weeks. And make it easier to write reviews!!!!

Nightmare check in and no transparency on website

An hour later still trying to check in to my room. Contacted Travelocity and they contacted the hotel to find out what is going on. Travelocity assured me everything had been worked out and advised to continue with my reservation. The call was even escalated to a supervisor. Even after the supervisor call, I went back to the hotel and received the same response and a higher fee for a room I did not reserve. There was no transparency on the website and the hotel insists they are a first come first serve hotel. This was listed no where on the website. First booking with Travelocity was a fail and a bad experience. Now I will be going back to the other travel apps I use to book rooms. I’m very disappointed with the experience.

Slimmed down barely skinned version of Travelocity app. No access to any kind of trip history, no ability to book previously started trips. No preference settings for notifications. Notification 15 minutes before my last flight departure. Really? How useful could that POSSIBLY be?

Horrible experience. I booked round trip to chicago. I also bought INSURANCE. Got to chicago fine. When i went to return. No flight. That’s right. No flight home. I had to spend $1180 to get home. It was $250 to get there. Response from customer service? Your insurance doesnt cover that. No. It doesn’t cover me when YOUR WEBSITE fails to book MY FLIGHT. Pathetic.

I’ve been pleased with Travelocity and it’s app. On a couple occasions they have over booked the hotel we stayed in, and when we arrived there were no rooms. It was rather stressful finding another place to stay last minute, however the customer service was nice and refunded our money and gave us a $50 voucher for our inconvenience. On one occasion, I had wished it was more as it was Memorial Day weekend and we had to travel pretty far to find another vacant hotel in Denver, but it was their policy and the agent could not do more.

I was extremely vulnerable and crying with no help from the Agency that happily took my money. I had no idea nobody in Turkey spoke more than a few words of English, barely even hi or bye I was stranded in the wrong airport because it only said Istanbul Terminal 1 on the reservation. After checking in I was two hours from the airport my flight was leaving from. I stayed on the phone for an hour and a half until I was escalated to a amanger who took another hour to escalate me to another manager who kept me on the phone for 90 min and hung up on me. Eyes swollen and tired I booked a new flight to get home safe. None of this would have happened if the airport was specified, there are three international airports in Istanbul turkey and none of them have a terminal 1 .. maybe people should rely on using their brain and companies can stop automating and programming everything so the world can run as it should with people that care and integrity for their business. These days are long gone- will never book with Travelocity .. my mom Booked with Expedia and they at least credited her half the rebooking fee. That was after trying to get a full refund or a free stand by flight .. all in 20 minutes

Went online to book a getaway vacation I saw this vacation special hotel and airline to Saint Thomas so I went online to book suggested going to the app and getting a 15% discount so I did open vacation did not see a discount so I call after 30 minutes of being Whole day eventually came back to the phone gave me a 15% discount on the hotel we confirm all the reservation when I received my itinerary I had no flight to st Thomas you have to Swim there apparently so I called them and they said that I had to get a hold of the airline and give them all the information that I’ve given them to confirm my flight into St. Thomas even though I had an outgoing flight to St. Thomas one of the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever went through to get a three day weekend I will never ever use these folks yet

My family and I used Travelocity 8/18 to reserve a room while on our way to Florida. Upon “reserving” said room, Travelocity went ahead and immediately charged my account. When we got to the hotel we were informed that there was NO reservation made in my name nor any from Travelocity. The hotel was quickly running out of rooms so we had no choice but to go ahead and book another room and pay a second time. After checking I I phoned the Travelocity hotline and spoke to a complaint taker. The complaint taker listened to what I said then turned around and phoned the hotel to confirm my story. The complaint taker then told me that my story checked out and she would submit my complaint for a refund but this would not take place until Monday. Come Monday I received an email stating the hotel refused to refund my money for canceling the reservation, so it was my loss. I responded to the email and informed Travelocity that there was NO reservation made so NO reservation could be canceled, I simply wanted my money back that Travelocity had charged me. I immediately got an email from Travelocity from a “Do Not Reply” account at Travelocity. Seems as if Travelocity cannot admit their mistake and refuses to reimburse the money they charged me for services NOT provided.

Crashes, doesn’t allow you to check out, doesn’t let you apply discount codes. I’ve been sat in a hotel lobby trying to book my room for an hour and it keeps saying sorry can’t process. It allowed me to book my friends room but not mine - so they are sorted and I’m not. Called Travelocity. Zero help. Incompetent staff with zero skills that don’t speak English. I’m about to jump out the window with frustration. HATE travelocity!

I haven’t traveled in awhile but found that at times it was very confusing because of so many details, different languages and different procedures! Thank Gid for Travelocity! Booking through Travelocity made my trip unbelievably easy. Everything was in one place on my phone. I booked my plane, hotels and transportation through Travelocity. It showed up on my phone in the order that it was scheduled. Everything was in one place. I arranged for long term parking separately. I could access it through my email but it was difficult in the midst of traveling to find it. Next time I will do everything through Travelocity! At one point I needed to check in to two different airlines. Thank goodness for Travelocity because all my information was there in one spot! Everything I booked was exactly as described. I read the reviews and looked at the descriptions and they were very accurate! The other thing that was very helpful was they attached maps of each airport I was in. This made things so much easier because I could see where I needed to go for my next flight! I will always use Travelocity in the future!!

I tried to change my round trip flight from San Diego to San Francisco to a later return time (just by a few hours). The instructions for changing flights on the itinerary were simply to cancel the original flight and book a new one. There’s a note next to this that says “any cancellations within 24 hours will not be charged.” Because the instructions said I can only change my flight by canceling it, I took this to mean that there would be no extra charges—any reasonable person would. So I canceled the flight only to later see that the same flight I booked had gone up in rates (the later return time and original time were the same rate originally, and were the same but higher rate at this point). Had I known that I would be charged more for this, I would have never tried to change my original flight. But even if I wanted to keep my same flight, I would be charged more for rebooking it because I canceled it upon Travelocity’s instructions. So at that point I was screwed. Had I known this, I would have never tried to change my flight in the first place. I thought it was very misleading from Travelocity’s position and that I should not have been charged over $100 more for this. I spoke to customer service on the phone. They told me there was nothing they could do. I didn’t buy it. After going back and forth they said the best they could do was give me $50 off a hotel. I said that number sounded arbitrary (just coincidentally half of what I was overcharged for? Come on...), and that I should be refunded the full rate I was overcharged by. I then spoke to a supervisor. I retold my dilemma and the supervisor told me he talked to whomever he needed to talk to and that there was nothing they could do; they couldn’t give me ANY kind of refund. I told him that the representative I spoke to before him told me they could give me $50 off a hotel, so... that offer isn’t valid anymore? Was it ever valid in the first place? I didn’t buy it. They were lying to me. And so I said, “It feels like you guys are lying.” He never denied it. He still said there was nothing they could do. I said, “I *know* you guys are lying to me, which means you and the airlines you do business with stole over $100 from me, and I deserve full recompense for this.” After two hours of this (!!!) on the phone, he calmly said, “Oh actually it looks like we *can* make an exception and repay you by giving you $100 off a hotel.” They lied to me and actually tried to steal my money. Who else have they done this to? I only give two stars because the app itself works well, otherwise I’d give zero for shady business practices.

We used Travelocity to book the hotels for my honeymoon. Our last hotel didn’t take Amex and cancelled our reservation when we made it (2months before our trip).. which would have been fine if Travelocity had actually told us. In fact, that hotel was still listed in my itinerary on the app when we showed up there. Travelocity’s customer support was useless and only said that we will get a notification, which doesn’t help when I’m already at the hotel trying to figure out how to save our trip. Don’t risk your vacation, use another company!

Purchased 2flight tickets got to the airport wasn’t in DELTA system called Travelocity were told I couldn’t get a refund nor go in and chang anything I would have to purchase new tickets ended up 100.18$for 2 extra plus the 700$ on the tickets I purchased from Travelocity what a SCAM 😡🤬😠!!!

Most people use an app for convenience and ease of use. My first experience here caused me to ask my self Why use this app? I had a booking set up on their mobile site. Very easy to use. I then got a teaser advising me if I used the app I could get 15% off. I love a discount so I downloaded an app. After inputting my itinerary I went searching for the same itinerary. Not easy. Ok start w hotel. I input the specific name from their website and discovered the Embassy Suites by Hilton wasn’t an option. No explanation, nothing. So Why use this app? Don’t waste your time, the website is easier and has a lot more options.

I am extremely disappointed in this app and Travelocity. When you download and use the mobile app you are suppose to get 15% off. But that didn’t happen. After calling support and on hold for over hour i got no answers. I then went back to the app and decided to reach out to the mobile app support team trough messenger after waiting for an answer for over 30 mins i took matters in my own hands and somehow found the terms for this discount and found out this discount has already expire over a month ago. Why offer a discount that already expire! Disappointed in the lack of support and service with Travelocity. Will be taking my personal business and professional business elsewhere. I will be telling everyone my horrible experience on social media.

Be very careful. The booking is preloaded to charge you for all of the addons it can. If you dont manually decline they will charge for a lot of crap you dont want or need. For example - we got charged for travel insurance - didnt want it-but got charged for it. The one time I did buy it, had a death in family, and they refused to refund the ticket - no appeal! BS! Also once the booking is made/chg card number entered, app becomes much harder to navigate, easy to get hung up in them trying to get you to book hotel, book a rental car etc. not impressed

Submitted a bad review of a hotel I stayed at; specifically, Hampton Inn and Suites at Reagan National Airport, and they would not post it even though I followed the guidelines and would not give me back my money for one day even though I did not stay at the hotel. Will never use this travel site again.

I typically use Kayak but found a better rate on travelocity so I booked my flight and car online. Only to find out 3 days before I leave that only the car was confirmed so I had to scramble (and pay an extra $160) on a new flight. When i arrived to Nashville and went to Enterprise to pick up my car I find out the car is actually in downtown Nashville! I hear from the Enterprise folks this happens all the time. I will never use Travelocity again! And I would encourage others not to as well. Just use the company you are looking to work with - they can get you the same or better deal!

It doesn’t even deserve a f****g 1 star!!!! My Travelocity account shows a 12 hour delay departure time. Angelo nor the apparent male “supervisor” can’t see in their system. I was on the phone with Angelo requesting multiple times for Supervisor to help him. It took him 15 min before deciding to transfer me to his supervisor... who is another stupid staff in Travelocity!!! Their own app showing the updated flight info but claimed they can’t see it. Travelocity did not even e-mail me for the changes!!!! What kind of service is this Travelocity??? What kind of staff do u hire??? I got an answer for you. Stupid, incompetent employees! It reflects on you as a company that you are just in for the money with poor, lousy, stupid, customer service. Get out of this industry!

On Monday July 9, 2018 my friend & I were to travel from Minneapolis Mn to Zurich by way of Philadelphia. Our flight from Minneapolis was rescheduled without Travelocity informing us of an earlier flight time. I called & the girl I spoke with assured us it was rescheduled but when we went to the American Airlines desk it was totally messed up. No flight for my friend & no return flight for myself. So we called Travelocity again & after 5 hours on the phone they did nothing. An American Airlines rep was finally able to reschedule us for the next day & American Airlines paid for our hotel stay in Minneapolis that night. American Airlines said we had to talk to Travelocity before they could reschedule but I still don’t understand this. At any rate I will never never use Travelocity again!!!

This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any company. Completely incompetent customer service when I needed a simple cancellation due to an emergency medical situation. All they had to do was cancel a current flight and book a different one. They booked the additional flight without cancelling the original flight. With over 3 hours on the phone and they still can’t figure this out. This particular agent also told me she wasn’t experienced. Very difficult to even understand all of their accents, as I spoke with four different people during this interaction. I cannot even begin to describe how frustrating and completing ignorant this entire staff is.

I can find no way to add an itinerary item to the Apple Wallet or to Calendar. Also, trips booked as guest can never be added to My Trips, which means you always have to have the itinerary number to retrive the reservation. Probably I will uninstall this app.

If I knew about the noise problems that other customers had been complaining about I never would’ve booked that hotel. Now I can’t get my money back.

My trip starts next weekend. I'm very excited and I downloaded the app to make it a little "easier" to access my travel info. The first time I signed up online, I used my Facebook profile as my login. Now, trying to sign in to the app using my Facebook profile only gets a message about how "this email is already linked to a profile." I'm annoyed. I'll be deleting the app.

I booked a 3.5/4 star hotel at a great rate, 3 months prior to our New York trip. The trip was a birthday present to my son and it was our first time to the Big Apple. I had not received any communications from Travelocity about any changes but, when we finally arrived at the hotel, we found out the reservation was cancelled by their sister company, Expedia. On our first day in New York, I spent 4 hours on the phone with customer service who kept promising that they would fix it. We were tired and it was late so, we spent double the amount to stay the night at the hotel, who was nice enough to cut their rate in half for us. The following day, I called Travelocity for a follow up and was told a mixture of “you’re booked, you’re not booked” answers. They had not resolved the issue at all and we were faced again with paying double the amount to stay at the hotel. I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor who, after being on the phone for 6 hours this time, was able to book us to another hotel for the remainder of our trip. We couldn’t check in until the next day so, we had to pay for another night at the original hotel. Travelocity did credit us for most of the differences in hotel prices but they made it impossible for us to fully enjoy our vacation! The stress alone was taxing and I will never use them or Expedia again!!

All receptionist were good and provided good costumer service. However, the hotel smells bad. The breakfast is very humble. My 17 year old found a bug on his bed. I complained to the owner in the morning and asked that he’d change the sheets. We came back at 10pm and found the beds with the same sheets.

I haven’t traveled in awhile but found that at times it was very confusing because of so many details, different languages and different procedures! Thank Gid for Travelocity! Booking through Travelocity made my trip unbelievably easy. Everything was in one place on my phone. I booked my plane, hotels and transportation through Travelocity. It showed up on my phone in the order that it was scheduled. Everything was in one place. I arranged for long term parking separately. I could access it through my email but it was difficult in the midst of traveling to find it. Next time I will do everything through Travelocity! At one point I needed to check in to two different airlines. Thank goodness for Travelocity because all my information was there in one spot! Everything I booked was exactly as described. I read the reviews and looked at the descriptions and they were very accurate! The other thing that was very helpful was they attached maps of each airport I was in. This made things so much easier because I could see where I needed to go for my next flight! I will always use Travelocity in the future!!

The pictures shown are very nice but they do not tell you that you have to climb 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment, and this is very difficult when you have to carry up your luggage. There is no elevator or lift. Floors do not appear to be clean and show mildew in the grout, so we made sure we wore our slippers or shoes at all times. They have a full shower but it is very small and tight. The area of the apartment is in an excellent area of Florence; very close to restaurants, shops, and famous sites to see, so this made it better for us. If the season is cold, there is a lock on the dial to raise the temperature in the apartment, so that can be uncomfortable. There is a refrigerator and a microwave oven. They leave you 2 towels total and nothing for the kitchen. We were told if we needed more towels, we would have to pay for them. We loved the area, but we would never stay in this apartment again.

Where to begin? Connecting flights: recently while searching flights, Travelocity came up with itineraries which spanned 24 hours. In order to get realistic itineraries, I had to search for intermediate destinations and manually search for connecting flights which did not show up otherwise. Why is this? I found 2 hour layovers in place of 8 hour layovers. You aren’t doing us any favors by not showing us all the options. Not interested in hotels! As soon as a flight is booked, you inundate customers with “deals” to book hotels. If I wanted a hotel, I’d have selected “flights + hotel”. Give us a way to opt out if this hotel spam! Don’t send an absurd “offer” just as an excuse to send yet another email! I can’t find any way to manage preferences to opt out of frequent annoying emails like “IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your loyalty has paid off, here's this offer for ...”, which don’t represent any special fare. It appears my ONLY option is to unsubscribe entirely. Travelocity is doing itself and its customers a disservice by spamming customers with meaningless emails. You need a way to stop getting these useless emails without unsubscribing altogether. Otherwise I will just stop using Travelocity entirely. You make one choice easy: bye bye Travelocity!

This app is very user friendly and never crashes. The search functions make it a lot easier to find what you're looking for. I love using the map to find hotels because it's really easy to filter and manipulate. Travelocity itself is such a great service. It makes it so easy to plan your entire trip and there's always discounts, especially when you book things together. Their customer service is also incredibly helpful and generous. I had an emergency while abroad and with one phone call they helped me work everything out and get as much of a refund for my flights as I could. I only had to pay a cancellation fee to the airline.

My family and I used Travelocity 8/18 to reserve a room while on our way to Florida. Upon “reserving” said room, Travelocity went ahead and immediately charged my account. When we got to the hotel we were informed that there was NO reservation made in my name nor any from Travelocity. The hotel was quickly running out of rooms so we had no choice but to go ahead and book another room and pay a second time. After checking I I phoned the Travelocity hotline and spoke to a complaint taker. The complaint taker listened to what I said then turned around and phoned the hotel to confirm my story. The complaint taker then told me that my story checked out and she would submit my complaint for a refund but this would not take place until Monday. Come Monday I received an email stating the hotel refused to refund my money for canceling the reservation, so it was my loss. I responded to the email and informed Travelocity that there was NO reservation made so NO reservation could be canceled, I simply wanted my money back that Travelocity had charged me. I immediately got an email from Travelocity from a “Do Not Reply” account at Travelocity. Seems as if Travelocity cannot admit their mistake and refuses to reimburse the money they charged me for services NOT provided.

I was extremely vulnerable and crying with no help from the Agency that happily took my money. I had no idea nobody in Turkey spoke more than a few words of English, barely even hi or bye I was stranded in the wrong airport because it only said Istanbul Terminal 1 on the reservation. After checking in I was two hours from the airport my flight was leaving from. I stayed on the phone for an hour and a half until I was escalated to a amanger who took another hour to escalate me to another manager who kept me on the phone for 90 min and hung up on me. Eyes swollen and tired I booked a new flight to get home safe. None of this would have happened if the airport was specified, there are three international airports in Istanbul turkey and none of them have a terminal 1 .. maybe people should rely on using their brain and companies can stop automating and programming everything so the world can run as it should with people that care and integrity for their business. These days are long gone- will never book with Travelocity .. my mom Booked with Expedia and they at least credited her half the rebooking fee. That was after trying to get a full refund or a free stand by flight .. all in 20 minutes

Be careful when u are booing the hotel specific when it says all inclusive! I booked all inclusive hotel in Cancun /Vila del palmer Cancun luxury beach resort and app said room is all inclusive. Right after I purchased it, I received the confirmation email from Travelocity and thanks God I usually don't check, but this time I checked and I couldn't find all inclusive package in my reservation. They charged me too much for just regular room. I called costumer service and I was almost more than 2hr and 20 min on the line with them without getting any result. They said u can changed ur room and buy the other one which is $1200 more than this room that u reserved. U guys be careful when u are booking any hotel for out side of US in this website and specific with this app. I am very very disappointed with their costumer service and this app:(((((

I’ve used Travelocity for my airline and hotel bookings and I’ve always been satisfied. I had a problem one time (my fault!)with a last minute booking and the costumer service helped me reach the right people. With all the changes and expected fees, i honestly told customer service that it was my fault. I did not pay any charge fees for flight changes. In fact I got a check as a refund since they found a cheaper flight for my last minute booking. I’ve booked hotels internationally and locally and I always get the best deals through this app. Thanks guys!!!

I normally book my trips through this app. I do some price comparisons here and there but largely use this app. We stayed at a hotel recently and I e searched everywhere to write a review but can’t find it anywhere. I had to dig through emails to find my old itinerary to even get the info pulled back up as apparently you can’t look at past trips. Not even those that were a week ago. So even after looking up the itinerary I still couldn’t find a way to leave a review. So my suggestions to improve: have past trips posted or at least able to be found for x number of weeks. And make it easier to write reviews!!!!

Went online to book a getaway vacation I saw this vacation special hotel and airline to Saint Thomas so I went online to book suggested going to the app and getting a 15% discount so I did open vacation did not see a discount so I call after 30 minutes of being Whole day eventually came back to the phone gave me a 15% discount on the hotel we confirm all the reservation when I received my itinerary I had no flight to st Thomas you have to Swim there apparently so I called them and they said that I had to get a hold of the airline and give them all the information that I’ve given them to confirm my flight into St. Thomas even though I had an outgoing flight to St. Thomas one of the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever went through to get a three day weekend I will never ever use these folks yet

I have used Travelocity for so many years I really don’t remember. I have always gotten the best deals on cruises and airfare. I don’t use them for hotels though as I find those on my own. I have had to call for cancellations itinerary changes or just I changed my mind. And tho the phone calls can be a pain ... as in it’s hard to reach a real person... once you do they are always helpful and great. I will continue to use Travelocity for as long as I travel. And I travel far and wide often

Stayed at bikini beach resort, Panama City beach Florida. Travelocity falsely represented this resort and what it offered. I pick this resort based on what was offered and it having close access to the beach. The room was dirty. We had no running water. It was outdated. No internet access. No balcony. No pots/pans in the kitchen that was supposed to be fully stocked of utensils etc. there were a few forks. 2 plastic bowls and plates. The shower rained all over the bathroom. Construction on the hotel all over. No gripes on stairs my daughter fell down them and injured her hand. The showers by pool didn’t work. The room dafr had a broken off key in it. Parking was at your own risk if you could find it. My kid was offered drugs by another patron of the hotel. Do not stay here. 783. For 4 days was a waste of money. AND you have to rent your beach chair.

It doesn’t even deserve a f****g 1 star!!!! My Travelocity account shows a 12 hour delay departure time. Angelo nor the apparent male “supervisor” can’t see in their system. I was on the phone with Angelo requesting multiple times for Supervisor to help him. It took him 15 min before deciding to transfer me to his supervisor... who is another stupid staff in Travelocity!!! Their own app showing the updated flight info but claimed they can’t see it. Travelocity did not even e-mail me for the changes!!!! What kind of service is this Travelocity??? What kind of staff do u hire??? I got an answer for you. Stupid, incompetent employees! It reflects on you as a company that you are just in for the money with poor, lousy, stupid, customer service. Get out of this industry!

I’ve been pleased with Travelocity and it’s app. On a couple occasions they have over booked the hotel we stayed in, and when we arrived there were no rooms. It was rather stressful finding another place to stay last minute, however the customer service was nice and refunded our money and gave us a $50 voucher for our inconvenience. On one occasion, I had wished it was more as it was Memorial Day weekend and we had to travel pretty far to find another vacant hotel in Denver, but it was their policy and the agent could not do more.

This was a very nice room. Could have been dusted behind center nightstand as I had to move out of way to access the plug for my computer. The staff lady was very pleasant. I happen to like walking out the door to my car so outside corridors are fine with me. It was close to my destination. I am planning on staying there again. Free breakfast with all carbs no fruit. That was disappointing. All in all for the cost and convenience I would give it a 5.

I travel for business on a regular basis, which includes multi-day driving trips. I LOVE the ability to book lodging on the fly depending how I feel at the time, wherever I am. I can stop as early or go as late as I want and no more worrying that a traffic delay or a long break makes my hotel suddenly two hours farther than when I want to get to bed. I've also gotten some incredible rooms with deep discounts this way. Love it!

I was given a $100 “Good Will” coupon from Travelocity, but wasn’t informed that it has an expiration date, and that it was only accessible via the website. Since I do everything via the app, it was never applied to any of my many trips I’ve booked. I also never received a notice that it was expiring. When I called Travelocity to ask them to reinstate the coupon and apply it to a current trip, after being on hold and transferred around for 30 minutes they said they couldn’t do it. So the “Good Will” of Travelocity is very limited and restricted, and too bad for the customer if something goes wrong.

Their customer service is outsourced joke (guy could not speak very good English), their planning is hit and miss. Great reviews are the ones that went well. They will blame you for the ones that do not go well. I have had a few issues with them and they blame you. The latest one they came back and blamed me. Well, I have screen video of the transactions showing the facts. I am fed up with them. I have reached out asking to talk with a real rep but nothing but blaming me. My videos of the facts will go public but everyone else realize that are so many better travel sites that care about their customers. Avoid Travelocity!!!!

I travel quite a lot so always looking for best hotel rates. Travelocity is my first choice. My only complaint which is significant is if you have any booking changes, customer service is hugely inefficient. I spent over 2 hours on the phone yesterday talking to 3 people who didn’t speak English as their first language. Worst travel experience ever

I typically use Kayak but found a better rate on travelocity so I booked my flight and car online. Only to find out 3 days before I leave that only the car was confirmed so I had to scramble (and pay an extra $160) on a new flight. When i arrived to Nashville and went to Enterprise to pick up my car I find out the car is actually in downtown Nashville! I hear from the Enterprise folks this happens all the time. I will never use Travelocity again! And I would encourage others not to as well. Just use the company you are looking to work with - they can get you the same or better deal!

We used Travelocity to book the hotels for my honeymoon. Our last hotel didn’t take Amex and cancelled our reservation when we made it (2months before our trip).. which would have been fine if Travelocity had actually told us. In fact, that hotel was still listed in my itinerary on the app when we showed up there. Travelocity’s customer support was useless and only said that we will get a notification, which doesn’t help when I’m already at the hotel trying to figure out how to save our trip. Don’t risk your vacation, use another company!

Most people use an app for convenience and ease of use. My first experience here caused me to ask my self Why use this app? I had a booking set up on their mobile site. Very easy to use. I then got a teaser advising me if I used the app I could get 15% off. I love a discount so I downloaded an app. After inputting my itinerary I went searching for the same itinerary. Not easy. Ok start w hotel. I input the specific name from their website and discovered the Embassy Suites by Hilton wasn’t an option. No explanation, nothing. So Why use this app? Don’t waste your time, the website is easier and has a lot more options.

Then I ended up being able to attend the original dates and have now had to book a room again with Travelocity. They saved me on this misunderstanding from the seminar. Nightmare check in and no transparency on website

An hour later still trying to check in to my room. Contacted Travelocity and they contacted the hotel to find out what is going on. Travelocity assured me everything had been worked out and advised to continue with my reservation. The call was even escalated to a supervisor. Even after the supervisor call, I went back to the hotel and received the same response and a higher fee for a room I did not reserve. There was no transparency on the website and the hotel insists they are a first come first serve hotel. This was listed no where on the website. First booking with Travelocity was a fail and a bad experience. Now I will be going back to the other travel apps I use to book rooms. I’m very disappointed with the experience.

Let me tell you a story. I have been a devoted Travelocity customer for over a decade. Today I have switched to Expedia. I found a round trip Air Canada round trip flight to Shanghai on Travelocity. $940 total. When I went to check out, a pop up said, “Prices change rapidly. The price is now $1040. Continue?” Um, that was weird. I closed the app and restarted. Researched. Same flight. Prices had NOT changed. Same flight. $940. At checkout: “Prices change rapidly. The price is now $1040. Continue?” Weird. I went to Expedia. Found the EXACT SAME FLIGHT. Price? $940. And a wonderful pop up appeared: “What you see is what you get. No hidden fees.” Upon checkout? $940. The same $940. The only explanation is that Travelocity is having trouble competing and is now charging fake fees to stay competitive. If so, I am truly saddened. I really loved you Travelocity. My love is no longer. Travelocity customers BEWARE.

I used the app to book hotels originally - but to to plans changing, I had to rebook hotels, several times, during my stay. Travelocity and this app was a Lifesaver!! I didn’t bring all of my credit cards with me so it was super easy to just use the app and pay in US dollars without overseas transaction fees. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We went through the extra effort of downloading the app to get the discount on our stay and it didn’t work. Apparently the coupon is only good at “select” hotels. Disappointed because you know that probably means that coupon only works at two obscure hotels in China. Otherwise, the app was okay. A little difficult to maneuver which would have easily been ignored had the coupon work.

Be very careful. The booking is preloaded to charge you for all of the addons it can. If you dont manually decline they will charge for a lot of crap you dont want or need. For example - we got charged for travel insurance - didnt want it-but got charged for it. The one time I did buy it, had a death in family, and they refused to refund the ticket - no appeal! BS! Also once the booking is made/chg card number entered, app becomes much harder to navigate, easy to get hung up in them trying to get you to book hotel, book a rental car etc. not impressed

I just recently started using travelocity but I have used it quite a bit over the last couple months for hotels and flights. It’s easy to use and I haven’t had any trouble with any of my reservations. I haven’t used it to rent a car though, so I can’t comment on that.

This app has zero value. I’ve been trying to get information about a trip I purchased for my family for two days and I can’t get any information beyond the flight number and departure time. No info on boarding passes or gate info and the airline needs a record locator number which is also not in here. I tried to “text” them after their phone number sent me into an endless loop. The texting was the same. It took over 12 hours for a response- this is not 24 hour support!

Travelocity, wander wiselly? More like tireless-ly....only after I purchased 3 or 4 deals, did I realize one could register using Facebook! I have 3 or 4 emails associated with different parts of the trip (my mistake), but once you associate the trip with Facebook and sign out....you must do it all over again every time you sign back in. This will be a headache for sure!

When selecting a vacation (hotel & flight) you cannot select the 'class' of flight you want to search for. (Sad face) If you need an additional 'puddle-hopper' flight to an island you can't add all at once. I can't seem to 'heart' items in my mobile app. I want to 'save' resorts and compare, but cannot easily do that. I would like more sorting/filtering for vacations--like Scuba/PADI on site; dance club on site; etc. thanks.

I will never use Travelocity again and would discourage anyone from purchasing through them. When calling to speak with customer service, she was not helpful at all and did not know the answers to my questions. I had significant issues accessing my reservation/trip information and did not receive information regarding the booking until after it was complete and they charged my account.

I always book with Travelocity. My only wish is that there was a way to “favorite” or add to cart so it’s easier to shop around different towns. Or so you can have a line up of your top choices instead of having to remember. Add that and I’ll add the last stars.

I have used other travel apps successfully many times. First use of travelocity, hotel reservation NEVER arrived at hotel. Cancelling thru the travelocity website was a disaster because apparently the information I was entering to cancel did not match what they had online. I went round and round with customer service for over an hour trying to get the situation resolved. Bottom line, I will never use travelocity again.

I have traveled with Travelocity dozens of times. Every experience has been exceptional. I love the interactive map function that allows you to see the prices and locations of hotels in your destination city. But what I respect most is how accommodating Travelocity has been. I’m a pain in the butt in that I have canceled many Reservations. Travelocity has been very patient and accommodating with my quirky schedule. They’ve made exceptions and it made refunds when they’ve made mistakes. I love Travelocity

Don’t ever use Travelocity and/or their app. In big, bold letters,Travelocity says you will get 15% discount on your hotel stay the first time you use THEIR app to make your booking. Unfortunately, they forget to tell you, unless you read through the terms and conditions, that there is a maximum amount that can be credited to your stay. Very misleading. Secondly, it took their customer support 1 hour and 41 minutes to figure out themselves why their app would not apply the 15% discount. Go to Booking.com. They had what was supposed to be Travelocity discounted price as their main quoted price. My booking was completed in 5 minutes with Booking.com, as opposed to working through the customer service levels at Travelocity for almost 2 hours with no resolution. Darrell

Travelocity outsourcers its customer service to other countries that simply do not understand the American Business person. They are OK with dropping the ball, screwing up reservations, and simply not getting you what you need. I have been left in Miami to sleep in a parking lot because of Travelocity his mistake and then inability to either understand that they cause the problem or their refusal to admit that they caused the problem and just continued me on a Merry go round of telling me that they will book me another hotel and then after 20 minutes telling me that the hotel was not available… And then beginning again with the phrase is there anything else we can help you with as if it was the first time I was calling for a hotel. This company has done this to me in several countries and thanks to American Express I was able to find a place to stay in Puerto Rico when Travelocity screwed up yet again. When I was put into a hotel that cater to only dogs and their owners and stated at the front desk that I had no idea that it was a dog hotel and that I was allergic to dogs Travelocity then canceled my reservation without booking me anywhere else. I was then charged for that hotel and the hotel that I had to get on my own. Travelocity call the hotel the next day and screwed up the situation and made the owner of the hotel believe that I simply checked in and decided to check out for no reason. I had to call myself and speak to the hotel man who is very helpful and gave me a refund. No thanks to Travelocity

I am in China and had to change hotels. Went to Tripadvisor and was redirected to Travelicity to complete my booking. Needed 2 rooms for 2 nights. Booked, paid. Received confirmation. Did not read carefully(shame on me) for 2 rooms for 1 night! This has happened to me before on flight dates getting changed. Costing me 1) aggravation and 2) money Travelocity: there is a BUG in your code. This should not happen without an ‘are you sure you want to change your dates?’ Do yourself a favor: bypass and go directly to the hotel/airline websites.

Too many errors when trying to search. I had picked an 8 am flight and up until I saw my printed itinerary I noticed it was a 8 pm flight!! So times are messed up on the app. I have multiple problems trying to just even log into my own account which should have been a red flag. Also on the desktop they try to tell you that you get extra 15% off if you use the mobile app however; there is nowhere for you to put a promo code of any sort on the app.

I normally book my trips through this app. I do some price comparisons here and there but largely use this app. We stayed at a hotel recently and I e searched everywhere to write a review but can’t find it anywhere. I had to dig through emails to find my old itinerary to even get the info pulled back up as apparently you can’t look at past trips. Not even those that were a week ago. So even after looking up the itinerary I still couldn’t find a way to leave a review. So my suggestions to improve: have past trips posted or at least able to be found for x number of weeks. And make it easier to write reviews!!!!

Horrible experience. I booked round trip to chicago. I also bought INSURANCE. Got to chicago fine. When i went to return. No flight. That’s right. No flight home. I had to spend $1180 to get home. It was $250 to get there. Response from customer service? Your insurance doesnt cover that. No. It doesn’t cover me when YOUR WEBSITE fails to book MY FLIGHT. Pathetic.

I’ve been pleased with Travelocity and it’s app. On a couple occasions they have over booked the hotel we stayed in, and when we arrived there were no rooms. It was rather stressful finding another place to stay last minute, however the customer service was nice and refunded our money and gave us a $50 voucher for our inconvenience. On one occasion, I had wished it was more as it was Memorial Day weekend and we had to travel pretty far to find another vacant hotel in Denver, but it was their policy and the agent could not do more.

I was extremely vulnerable and crying with no help from the Agency that happily took my money. I had no idea nobody in Turkey spoke more than a few words of English, barely even hi or bye I was stranded in the wrong airport because it only said Istanbul Terminal 1 on the reservation. After checking in I was two hours from the airport my flight was leaving from. I stayed on the phone for an hour and a half until I was escalated to a amanger who took another hour to escalate me to another manager who kept me on the phone for 90 min and hung up on me. Eyes swollen and tired I booked a new flight to get home safe. None of this would have happened if the airport was specified, there are three international airports in Istanbul turkey and none of them have a terminal 1 .. maybe people should rely on using their brain and companies can stop automating and programming everything so the world can run as it should with people that care and integrity for their business. These days are long gone- will never book with Travelocity .. my mom Booked with Expedia and they at least credited her half the rebooking fee. That was after trying to get a full refund or a free stand by flight .. all in 20 minutes

Went online to book a getaway vacation I saw this vacation special hotel and airline to Saint Thomas so I went online to book suggested going to the app and getting a 15% discount so I did open vacation did not see a discount so I call after 30 minutes of being Whole day eventually came back to the phone gave me a 15% discount on the hotel we confirm all the reservation when I received my itinerary I had no flight to st Thomas you have to Swim there apparently so I called them and they said that I had to get a hold of the airline and give them all the information that I’ve given them to confirm my flight into St. Thomas even though I had an outgoing flight to St. Thomas one of the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever went through to get a three day weekend I will never ever use these folks yet

I called to make reservations after confirming my total I asked not once but twice if the resort fee was included in my total was told yes! Upon checking out I was charged a 28.50 resort fee!!! I am disgusted with Travelocity will never use them again!!!

My family and I used Travelocity 8/18 to reserve a room while on our way to Florida. Upon “reserving” said room, Travelocity went ahead and immediately charged my account. When we got to the hotel we were informed that there was NO reservation made in my name nor any from Travelocity. The hotel was quickly running out of rooms so we had no choice but to go ahead and book another room and pay a second time. After checking I I phoned the Travelocity hotline and spoke to a complaint taker. The complaint taker listened to what I said then turned around and phoned the hotel to confirm my story. The complaint taker then told me that my story checked out and she would submit my complaint for a refund but this would not take place until Monday. Come Monday I received an email stating the hotel refused to refund my money for canceling the reservation, so it was my loss. I responded to the email and informed Travelocity that there was NO reservation made so NO reservation could be canceled, I simply wanted my money back that Travelocity had charged me. I immediately got an email from Travelocity from a “Do Not Reply” account at Travelocity. Seems as if Travelocity cannot admit their mistake and refuses to reimburse the money they charged me for services NOT provided.

Crashes, doesn’t allow you to check out, doesn’t let you apply discount codes. I’ve been sat in a hotel lobby trying to book my room for an hour and it keeps saying sorry can’t process. It allowed me to book my friends room but not mine - so they are sorted and I’m not. Called Travelocity. Zero help. Incompetent staff with zero skills that don’t speak English. I’m about to jump out the window with frustration. HATE travelocity!

I haven’t traveled in awhile but found that at times it was very confusing because of so many details, different languages and different procedures! Thank Gid for Travelocity! Booking through Travelocity made my trip unbelievably easy. Everything was in one place on my phone. I booked my plane, hotels and transportation through Travelocity. It showed up on my phone in the order that it was scheduled. Everything was in one place. I arranged for long term parking separately. I could access it through my email but it was difficult in the midst of traveling to find it. Next time I will do everything through Travelocity! At one point I needed to check in to two different airlines. Thank goodness for Travelocity because all my information was there in one spot! Everything I booked was exactly as described. I read the reviews and looked at the descriptions and they were very accurate! The other thing that was very helpful was they attached maps of each airport I was in. This made things so much easier because I could see where I needed to go for my next flight! I will always use Travelocity in the future!!

I tried to change my round trip flight from San Diego to San Francisco to a later return time (just by a few hours). The instructions for changing flights on the itinerary were simply to cancel the original flight and book a new one. There’s a note next to this that says “any cancellations within 24 hours will not be charged.” Because the instructions said I can only change my flight by canceling it, I took this to mean that there would be no extra charges—any reasonable person would. So I canceled the flight only to later see that the same flight I booked had gone up in rates (the later return time and original time were the same rate originally, and were the same but higher rate at this point). Had I known that I would be charged more for this, I would have never tried to change my original flight. But even if I wanted to keep my same flight, I would be charged more for rebooking it because I canceled it upon Travelocity’s instructions. So at that point I was screwed. Had I known this, I would have never tried to change my flight in the first place. I thought it was very misleading from Travelocity’s position and that I should not have been charged over $100 more for this. I spoke to customer service on the phone. They told me there was nothing they could do. I didn’t buy it. After going back and forth they said the best they could do was give me $50 off a hotel. I said that number sounded arbitrary (just coincidentally half of what I was overcharged for? Come on...), and that I should be refunded the full rate I was overcharged by. I then spoke to a supervisor. I retold my dilemma and the supervisor told me he talked to whomever he needed to talk to and that there was nothing they could do; they couldn’t give me ANY kind of refund. I told him that the representative I spoke to before him told me they could give me $50 off a hotel, so... that offer isn’t valid anymore? Was it ever valid in the first place? I didn’t buy it. They were lying to me. And so I said, “It feels like you guys are lying.” He never denied it. He still said there was nothing they could do. I said, “I *know* you guys are lying to me, which means you and the airlines you do business with stole over $100 from me, and I deserve full recompense for this.” After two hours of this (!!!) on the phone, he calmly said, “Oh actually it looks like we *can* make an exception and repay you by giving you $100 off a hotel.” They lied to me and actually tried to steal my money. Who else have they done this to? I only give two stars because the app itself works well, otherwise I’d give zero for shady business practices.

We used Travelocity to book the hotels for my honeymoon. Our last hotel didn’t take Amex and cancelled our reservation when we made it (2months before our trip).. which would have been fine if Travelocity had actually told us. In fact, that hotel was still listed in my itinerary on the app when we showed up there. Travelocity’s customer support was useless and only said that we will get a notification, which doesn’t help when I’m already at the hotel trying to figure out how to save our trip. Don’t risk your vacation, use another company!

Most people use an app for convenience and ease of use. My first experience here caused me to ask my self Why use this app? I had a booking set up on their mobile site. Very easy to use. I then got a teaser advising me if I used the app I could get 15% off. I love a discount so I downloaded an app. After inputting my itinerary I went searching for the same itinerary. Not easy. Ok start w hotel. I input the specific name from their website and discovered the Embassy Suites by Hilton wasn’t an option. No explanation, nothing. So Why use this app? Don’t waste your time, the website is easier and has a lot more options.

I am extremely disappointed in this app and Travelocity. When you download and use the mobile app you are suppose to get 15% off. But that didn’t happen. After calling support and on hold for over hour i got no answers. I then went back to the app and decided to reach out to the mobile app support team trough messenger after waiting for an answer for over 30 mins i took matters in my own hands and somehow found the terms for this discount and found out this discount has already expire over a month ago. Why offer a discount that already expire! Disappointed in the lack of support and service with Travelocity. Will be taking my personal business and professional business elsewhere. I will be telling everyone my horrible experience on social media.

Be very careful. The booking is preloaded to charge you for all of the addons it can. If you dont manually decline they will charge for a lot of crap you dont want or need. For example - we got charged for travel insurance - didnt want it-but got charged for it. The one time I did buy it, had a death in family, and they refused to refund the ticket - no appeal! BS! Also once the booking is made/chg card number entered, app becomes much harder to navigate, easy to get hung up in them trying to get you to book hotel, book a rental car etc. not impressed

I typically use Kayak but found a better rate on travelocity so I booked my flight and car online. Only to find out 3 days before I leave that only the car was confirmed so I had to scramble (and pay an extra $160) on a new flight. When i arrived to Nashville and went to Enterprise to pick up my car I find out the car is actually in downtown Nashville! I hear from the Enterprise folks this happens all the time. I will never use Travelocity again! And I would encourage others not to as well. Just use the company you are looking to work with - they can get you the same or better deal!

It doesn’t even deserve a f****g 1 star!!!! My Travelocity account shows a 12 hour delay departure time. Angelo nor the apparent male “supervisor” can’t see in their system. I was on the phone with Angelo requesting multiple times for Supervisor to help him. It took him 15 min before deciding to transfer me to his supervisor... who is another stupid staff in Travelocity!!! Their own app showing the updated flight info but claimed they can’t see it. Travelocity did not even e-mail me for the changes!!!! What kind of service is this Travelocity??? What kind of staff do u hire??? I got an answer for you. Stupid, incompetent employees! It reflects on you as a company that you are just in for the money with poor, lousy, stupid, customer service. Get out of this industry!

On Monday July 9, 2018 my friend & I were to travel from Minneapolis Mn to Zurich by way of Philadelphia. Our flight from Minneapolis was rescheduled without Travelocity informing us of an earlier flight time. I called & the girl I spoke with assured us it was rescheduled but when we went to the American Airlines desk it was totally messed up. No flight for my friend & no return flight for myself. So we called Travelocity again & after 5 hours on the phone they did nothing. An American Airlines rep was finally able to reschedule us for the next day & American Airlines paid for our hotel stay in Minneapolis that night. American Airlines said we had to talk to Travelocity before they could reschedule but I still don’t understand this. At any rate I will never never use Travelocity again!!!

This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any company. Completely incompetent customer service when I needed a simple cancellation due to an emergency medical situation. All they had to do was cancel a current flight and book a different one. They booked the additional flight without cancelling the original flight. With over 3 hours on the phone and they still can’t figure this out. This particular agent also told me she wasn’t experienced. Very difficult to even understand all of their accents, as I spoke with four different people during this interaction. I cannot even begin to describe how frustrating and completing ignorant this entire staff is.

I can find no way to add an itinerary item to the Apple Wallet or to Calendar. Also, trips booked as guest can never be added to My Trips, which means you always have to have the itinerary number to retrive the reservation. Probably I will uninstall this app.

If I knew about the noise problems that other customers had been complaining about I never would’ve booked that hotel. Now I can’t get my money back.

My trip starts next weekend. I'm very excited and I downloaded the app to make it a little "easier" to access my travel info. The first time I signed up online, I used my Facebook profile as my login. Now, trying to sign in to the app using my Facebook profile only gets a message about how "this email is already linked to a profile." I'm annoyed. I'll be deleting the app.

I booked a 3.5/4 star hotel at a great rate, 3 months prior to our New York trip. The trip was a birthday present to my son and it was our first time to the Big Apple. I had not received any communications from Travelocity about any changes but, when we finally arrived at the hotel, we found out the reservation was cancelled by their sister company, Expedia. On our first day in New York, I spent 4 hours on the phone with customer service who kept promising that they would fix it. We were tired and it was late so, we spent double the amount to stay the night at the hotel, who was nice enough to cut their rate in half for us. The following day, I called Travelocity for a follow up and was told a mixture of “you’re booked, you’re not booked” answers. They had not resolved the issue at all and we were faced again with paying double the amount to stay at the hotel. I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor who, after being on the phone for 6 hours this time, was able to book us to another hotel for the remainder of our trip. We couldn’t check in until the next day so, we had to pay for another night at the original hotel. Travelocity did credit us for most of the differences in hotel prices but they made it impossible for us to fully enjoy our vacation! The stress alone was taxing and I will never use them or Expedia again!!

All receptionist were good and provided good costumer service. However, the hotel smells bad. The breakfast is very humble. My 17 year old found a bug on his bed. I complained to the owner in the morning and asked that he’d change the sheets. We came back at 10pm and found the beds with the same sheets.

Regency Hotel was probably once a very beautiful hotel it is run down is in disrepair and when I arrived I canceled my reservation they charge me for one night stay for canceling Travelocity did nothing to assist me in recouping my one night stay so I would say beware with Regency and Travelocity use another vendor.

The pictures shown are very nice but they do not tell you that you have to climb 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment, and this is very difficult when you have to carry up your luggage. There is no elevator or lift. Floors do not appear to be clean and show mildew in the grout, so we made sure we wore our slippers or shoes at all times. They have a full shower but it is very small and tight. The area of the apartment is in an excellent area of Florence; very close to restaurants, shops, and famous sites to see, so this made it better for us. If the season is cold, there is a lock on the dial to raise the temperature in the apartment, so that can be uncomfortable. There is a refrigerator and a microwave oven. They leave you 2 towels total and nothing for the kitchen. We were told if we needed more towels, we would have to pay for them. We loved the area, but we would never stay in this apartment again.

Where to begin? Connecting flights: recently while searching flights, Travelocity came up with itineraries which spanned 24 hours. In order to get realistic itineraries, I had to search for intermediate destinations and manually search for connecting flights which did not show up otherwise. Why is this? I found 2 hour layovers in place of 8 hour layovers. You aren’t doing us any favors by not showing us all the options. Not interested in hotels! As soon as a flight is booked, you inundate customers with “deals” to book hotels. If I wanted a hotel, I’d have selected “flights + hotel”. Give us a way to opt out if this hotel spam! Don’t send an absurd “offer” just as an excuse to send yet another email! I can’t find any way to manage preferences to opt out of frequent annoying emails like “IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your loyalty has paid off, here's this offer for ...”, which don’t represent any special fare. It appears my ONLY option is to unsubscribe entirely. Travelocity is doing itself and its customers a disservice by spamming customers with meaningless emails. You need a way to stop getting these useless emails without unsubscribing altogether. Otherwise I will just stop using Travelocity entirely. You make one choice easy: bye bye Travelocity!

This app is very user friendly and never crashes. The search functions make it a lot easier to find what you're looking for. I love using the map to find hotels because it's really easy to filter and manipulate. Travelocity itself is such a great service. It makes it so easy to plan your entire trip and there's always discounts, especially when you book things together. Their customer service is also incredibly helpful and generous. I had an emergency while abroad and with one phone call they helped me work everything out and get as much of a refund for my flights as I could. I only had to pay a cancellation fee to the airline.

When we got to the hotel we were informed that there was NO reservation made in my name nor any from Travelocity. The hotel was quickly running out of rooms so we had no choice but to go ahead and book another room and pay a second time. After checking I I phoned the Travelocity hotline and spoke to a complaint taker. The complaint taker listened to what I said then turned around and phoned the hotel to confirm my story. The complaint taker then told me that my story checked out and she would submit my complaint for a refund but this would not take place until Monday. Come Monday I received an email stating the hotel refused to refund my money for canceling the reservation, so it was my loss. I responded to the email and informed Travelocity that there was NO reservation made so NO reservation could be canceled, I simply wanted my money back that Travelocity had charged me. I immediately got an email from Travelocity from a “Do Not Reply” account at Travelocity. Seems as if Travelocity cannot admit their mistake and refuses to reimburse the money they charged me for services NOT provided.

I was extremely vulnerable and crying with no help from the Agency that happily took my money. I had no idea nobody in Turkey spoke more than a few words of English, barely even hi or bye I was stranded in the wrong airport because it only said Istanbul Terminal 1 on the reservation. After checking in I was two hours from the airport my flight was leaving from. I stayed on the phone for an hour and a half until I was escalated to a amanger who took another hour to escalate me to another manager who kept me on the phone for 90 min and hung up on me. Eyes swollen and tired I booked a new flight to get home safe. None of this would have happened if the airport was specified, there are three international airports in Istanbul turkey and none of them have a terminal 1 .. maybe people should rely on using their brain and companies can stop automating and programming everything so the world can run as it should with people that care and integrity for their business. These days are long gone- will never book with Travelocity .. my mom Booked with Expedia and they at least credited her half the rebooking fee. That was after trying to get a full refund or a free stand by flight .. all in 20 minutes

Be careful when u are booing the hotel specific when it says all inclusive! I booked all inclusive hotel in Cancun /Vila del palmer Cancun luxury beach resort and app said room is all inclusive. Right after I purchased it, I received the confirmation email from Travelocity and thanks God I usually don't check, but this time I checked and I couldn't find all inclusive package in my reservation. They charged me too much for just regular room. I called costumer service and I was almost more than 2hr and 20 min on the line with them without getting any result. They said u can changed ur room and buy the other one which is $1200 more than this room that u reserved. U guys be careful when u are booking any hotel for out side of US in this website and specific with this app. I am very very disappointed with their costumer service and this app:(((((

I’ve used Travelocity for my airline and hotel bookings and I’ve always been satisfied. I had a problem one time (my fault!)with a last minute booking and the costumer service helped me reach the right people. With all the changes and expected fees, i honestly told customer service that it was my fault. I did not pay any charge fees for flight changes. In fact I got a check as a refund since they found a cheaper flight for my last minute booking. I’ve booked hotels internationally and locally and I always get the best deals through this app. Thanks guys!!!

I normally book my trips through this app. I do some price comparisons here and there but largely use this app. We stayed at a hotel recently and I e searched everywhere to write a review but can’t find it anywhere. I had to dig through emails to find my old itinerary to even get the info pulled back up as apparently you can’t look at past trips. Not even those that were a week ago. So even after looking up the itinerary I still couldn’t find a way to leave a review. So my suggestions to improve: have past trips posted or at least able to be found for x number of weeks. And make it easier to write reviews!!!!

Went online to book a getaway vacation I saw this vacation special hotel and airline to Saint Thomas so I went online to book suggested going to the app and getting a 15% discount so I did open vacation did not see a discount so I call after 30 minutes of being Whole day eventually came back to the phone gave me a 15% discount on the hotel we confirm all the reservation when I received my itinerary I had no flight to st Thomas you have to Swim there apparently so I called them and they said that I had to get a hold of the airline and give them all the information that I’ve given them to confirm my flight into St. Thomas even though I had an outgoing flight to St. Thomas one of the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever went through to get a three day weekend I will never ever use these folks yet

On Monday July 9, 2018 my friend & I were to travel from Minneapolis Mn to Zurich by way of Philadelphia. Our flight from Minneapolis was rescheduled without Travelocity informing us of an earlier flight time. I called & the girl I spoke with assured us it was rescheduled but when we went to the American Airlines desk it was totally messed up. No flight for my friend & no return flight for myself. So we called Travelocity again & after 5 hours on the phone they did nothing. An American Airlines rep was finally able to reschedule us for the next day & American Airlines paid for our hotel stay in Minneapolis that night. American Airlines said we had to talk to Travelocity before they could reschedule but I still don’t understand this. At any rate I will never never use Travelocity again!!!

I have used Travelocity for so many years I really don’t remember. I have always gotten the best deals on cruises and airfare. I don’t use them for hotels though as I find those on my own. I have had to call for cancellations itinerary changes or just I changed my mind. And tho the phone calls can be a pain ... as in it’s hard to reach a real person... once you do they are always helpful and great. I will continue to use Travelocity for as long as I travel. And I travel far and wide often

Stayed at bikini beach resort, Panama City beach Florida. Travelocity falsely represented this resort and what it offered. I pick this resort based on what was offered and it having close access to the beach. The room was dirty. We had no running water. It was outdated. No internet access. No balcony. No pots/pans in the kitchen that was supposed to be fully stocked of utensils etc. there were a few forks. 2 plastic bowls and plates. The shower rained all over the bathroom. Construction on the hotel all over. No gripes on stairs my daughter fell down them and injured her hand. The showers by pool didn’t work. The room dafr had a broken off key in it. Parking was at your own risk if you could find it. My kid was offered drugs by another patron of the hotel. Do not stay here. 783. For 4 days was a waste of money. AND you have to rent your beach chair.

It doesn’t even deserve a f****g 1 star!!!! My Travelocity account shows a 12 hour delay departure time. Angelo nor the apparent male “supervisor” can’t see in their system. I was on the phone with Angelo requesting multiple times for Supervisor to help him. It took him 15 min before deciding to transfer me to his supervisor... who is another stupid staff in Travelocity!!! Their own app showing the updated flight info but claimed they can’t see it. Travelocity did not even e-mail me for the changes!!!! What kind of service is this Travelocity??? What kind of staff do u hire??? I got an answer for you. Stupid, incompetent employees! It reflects on you as a company that you are just in for the money with poor, lousy, stupid, customer service. Get out of this industry!

I’ve been pleased with Travelocity and it’s app. On a couple occasions they have over booked the hotel we stayed in, and when we arrived there were no rooms. It was rather stressful finding another place to stay last minute, however the customer service was nice and refunded our money and gave us a $50 voucher for our inconvenience. On one occasion, I had wished it was more as it was Memorial Day weekend and we had to travel pretty far to find another vacant hotel in Denver, but it was their policy and the agent could not do more.

This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any company. Completely incompetent customer service when I needed a simple cancellation due to an emergency medical situation. All they had to do was cancel a current flight and book a different one. They booked the additional flight without cancelling the original flight. With over 3 hours on the phone and they still can’t figure this out. This particular agent also told me she wasn’t experienced. Very difficult to even understand all of their accents, as I spoke with four different people during this interaction. I cannot even begin to describe how frustrating and completing ignorant this entire staff is.

This was a very nice room. Could have been dusted behind center nightstand as I had to move out of way to access the plug for my computer. The staff lady was very pleasant. I happen to like walking out the door to my car so outside corridors are fine with me. It was close to my destination. I am planning on staying there again. Free breakfast with all carbs no fruit. That was disappointing. All in all for the cost and convenience I would give it a 5.

I travel for business on a regular basis, which includes multi-day driving trips. I LOVE the ability to book lodging on the fly depending how I feel at the time, wherever I am. I can stop as early or go as late as I want and no more worrying that a traffic delay or a long break makes my hotel suddenly two hours farther than when I want to get to bed. I've also gotten some incredible rooms with deep discounts this way. Love it!

I love the ease and convenience of being able to book online from my phone and then added to my calendar to get it is to email instantly unfortunately sometimes some of the hotels I have booked have not been of low quality due to the hotels personal staff and it’s issues each individual hotel, but that has nothing to do with how awesome the Travelocity App thank you

I was given a $100 “Good Will” coupon from Travelocity, but wasn’t informed that it has an expiration date, and that it was only accessible via the website. Since I do everything via the app, it was never applied to any of my many trips I’ve booked. I also never received a notice that it was expiring. When I called Travelocity to ask them to reinstate the coupon and apply it to a current trip, after being on hold and transferred around for 30 minutes they said they couldn’t do it. So the “Good Will” of Travelocity is very limited and restricted, and too bad for the customer if something goes wrong.

Their customer service is outsourced joke (guy could not speak very good English), their planning is hit and miss. Great reviews are the ones that went well. They will blame you for the ones that do not go well. I have had a few issues with them and they blame you. The latest one they came back and blamed me. Well, I have screen video of the transactions showing the facts. I am fed up with them. I have reached out asking to talk with a real rep but nothing but blaming me. My videos of the facts will go public but everyone else realize that are so many better travel sites that care about their customers. Avoid Travelocity!!!!

I travel quite a lot so always looking for best hotel rates. Travelocity is my first choice. My only complaint which is significant is if you have any booking changes, customer service is hugely inefficient. I spent over 2 hours on the phone yesterday talking to 3 people who didn’t speak English as their first language. In addition to not knowing how to make changes the communication barrier was overwhelming. Finally got finished satisfactorily after wasting my morning.

I typically use Kayak but found a better rate on travelocity so I booked my flight and car online. Only to find out 3 days before I leave that only the car was confirmed so I had to scramble (and pay an extra $160) on a new flight. When i arrived to Nashville and went to Enterprise to pick up my car I find out the car is actually in downtown Nashville! I hear from the Enterprise folks this happens all the time. I will never use Travelocity again! And I would encourage others not to as well. Just use the company you are looking to work with - they can get you the same or better deal!

We used Travelocity to book the hotels for my honeymoon. Our last hotel didn’t take Amex and cancelled our reservation when we made it (2months before our trip).. which would have been fine if Travelocity had actually told us. In fact, that hotel was still listed in my itinerary on the app when we showed up there. Travelocity’s customer support was useless and only said that we will get a notification, which doesn’t help when I’m already at the hotel trying to figure out how to save our trip. Don’t risk your vacation, use another company!

Most people use an app for convenience and ease of use. My first experience here caused me to ask my self Why use this app? I had a booking set up on their mobile site. Very easy to use. I then got a teaser advising me if I used the app I could get 15% off. I love a discount so I downloaded an app. After inputting my itinerary I went searching for the same itinerary. Not easy. Ok start w hotel. I input the specific name from their website and discovered the Embassy Suites by Hilton wasn’t an option. No explanation, nothing. So Why use this app? Don’t waste your time, the website is easier and has a lot more options.

Then I ended up being able to attend the original dates and have now had to book a room again with Travelocity. They saved me on this misunderstanding from the seminar. Nightmare check in and no transparency on website

An hour later still trying to check in to my room. Contacted Travelocity and they contacted the hotel to find out what is going on. Travelocity assured me everything had been worked out and advised to continue with my reservation. The call was even escalated to a supervisor. Even after the supervisor call, I went back to the hotel and received the same response and a higher fee for a room I did not reserve. There was no transparency on the website and the hotel insists they are a first come first serve hotel. This was listed no where on the website. First booking with Travelocity was a fail and a bad experience. Now I will be going back to the other travel apps I use to book rooms. I’m very disappointed with the experience.

Let me tell you a story. I have been a devoted Travelocity customer for over a decade. Today I have switched to Expedia. I found a round trip Air Canada round trip flight to Shanghai on Travelocity. $940 total. When I went to check out, a pop up said, “Prices change rapidly. The price is now $1040. Continue?” Um, that was weird. I closed the app and restarted. Researched. Same flight. Prices had NOT changed. Same flight. $940. At checkout: “Prices change rapidly. The price is now $1040. Continue?” Weird. I went to Expedia. Found the EXACT SAME FLIGHT. Price? $940. And a wonderful pop up appeared: “What you see is what you get. No hidden fees.” Upon checkout? $940. The same $940. The only explanation is that Travelocity is having trouble competing and is now charging fake fees to stay competitive. If so, I am truly saddened. I really loved you Travelocity. My love is no longer. Travelocity customers BEWARE.

I used the app to book hotels originally - but to to plans changing, I had to rebook hotels, several times, during my stay. Travelocity and this app was a Lifesaver!! I didn’t bring all of my credit cards with me so it was super easy to just use the app and pay in US dollars without overseas transaction fees. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We went through the extra effort of downloading the app to get the discount on our stay and it didn’t work. Apparently the coupon is only good at “select” hotels. Disappointed because you know that probably means that coupon only works at two obscure hotels in China. Otherwise, the app was okay. A little difficult to maneuver which would have easily been ignored had the coupon work.

Be very careful. The booking is preloaded to charge you for all of the addons it can. If you dont manually decline they will charge for a lot of crap you dont want or need. For example - we got charged for travel insurance - didnt want it-but got charged for it. The one time I did buy it, had a death in family, and they refused to refund the ticket - no appeal! BS! Also once the booking is made/chg card number entered, app becomes much harder to navigate, easy to get hung up in them trying to get you to book hotel, book a rental car etc. not impressed

I just recently started using travelocity but I have used it quite a bit over the last couple months for hotels and flights. It’s easy to use and I haven’t had any trouble with any of my reservations. I haven’t used it to rent a car though, so I can’t comment on that.

This app has zero value. I’ve been trying to get information about a trip I purchased for my family for two days and I can’t get any information beyond the flight number and departure time. No info on boarding passes or gate info and the airline needs a record locator number which is also not in here. I tried to “text” them after their phone number sent me into an endless loop. The texting was the same. It took over 12 hours for a response- this is not 24 hour support!

Travelocity, wander wiselly? More like tireless-ly....only after I purchased 3 or 4 deals, did I realize one could register using Facebook! I have 3 or 4 emails associated with different parts of the trip (my mistake), but once you associate the trip with Facebook and sign out....you must do it all over again every time you sign back in. This will be a headache for sure!

When selecting a vacation (hotel & flight) you cannot select the 'class' of flight you want to search for. (Sad face) If you need an additional 'puddle-hopper' flight to an island you can't add all at once. I can't seem to 'heart' items in my mobile app. I want to 'save' resorts and compare, but cannot easily do that. I would like more sorting/filtering for vacations--like Scuba/PADI on site; dance club on site; etc. thanks.

I will never use Travelocity again and would discourage anyone from purchasing through them. When calling to speak with customer service, she was not helpful at all and did not know the answers to my questions. I had significant issues accessing my reservation/trip information and did not receive information regarding the booking until after it was complete and they charged my account.

I always book with Travelocity. My only wish is that there was a way to “favorite” or add to cart so it’s easier to shop around different towns. Or so you can have a line up of your top choices instead of having to remember. Add that and I’ll add the last stars.

I wish that the app would let you search by amenities. We have two dogs and they go everywhere with us but the app doesn’t allow me to search hotels based on pets. I frequently use their website instead. I would like to use the app more often.

I have used other travel apps successfully many times. First use of travelocity, hotel reservation NEVER arrived at hotel. Cancelling thru the travelocity website was a disaster because apparently the information I was entering to cancel did not match what they had online. I went round and round with customer service for over an hour trying to get the situation resolved. Bottom line, I will never use travelocity again.

Used the Travelocity app to book parts of our San Francisco vacation. It was quite easy searching and sorting. And the hotels mobile rates are sweet. Promotion codes were also easy to enter and payment was a breeze!
