As soon as your flights delayed give it about 10 minutes and then the delayed time Becomes the new schedule time and it shows on time again it will continue to do that even if your flight is ultimately canceled till the next day it will show on time the next day… Ridiculous

Agent had me on hold 6 hours and 23 minutes and nothing was resolved. No follow up email resolution. Airline gave my brother a refund after a Schedule change, Travelocity as of today has been unable to secure the same refund for me for the SAME itinerary 7388106546769

This app has helped me several time to find something on the road. Prices and locations are usually very accessible. There are ocasional problems with vouchers at the hotel (the problem was the hotel’s problem) and the Travelocity team has always been helpful and resolved the issues.

When I first started using this app it was much easier to navigate. Today I was booking a package to get a better rate and feel like I was dooped. It started when the screen said “oops we hate it when this happens” or something to that affect and it went on to tell me that the price for the hotel was going up another 20 because they were selling out so fast!! So in haste I hurried up and picked the hotel which could have been made easier by giving me an option to know if it’s nearby where I’m traveling to but no. That’s not an option. Then it says something about travelers insurance and all this fine print but I’ve got to hurry and get that cheap price or it’s going to go up again. No mention of the cost of this “insurance “ I’ve always used travelocity to get rental cars and have never had any problems with canceling or changing my reservation but now I guess it’s absolutely set in stone that I take this room which when I called customer service not 5 minutes after I made the reservation because the rental car I’m also trying to book for some reason never asked me where I wanted to pick up the vehicle. It just assumed I wanted it in the town I am getting the hotel. So I called to clarify and to fix the pick up and drop off locations the customer service people barely spoke English and actually spoke very condescending to me because he figured I had done this huge error!! (good grief!!) He went on and on about how the hotel reservation is set in stone. Which is rather fishy in my opinion but not really a problem for me because it is right where I need to be. And I wasn’t asking for a cancellation I only wanted to modify the rental car pick up dates. So something that should have only taken a few minutes ended up wasting a huge chunk of my afternoon. I will think again before I use this service again. I also prefer speaking to people who can clearly enunciate the words in the English language. I would think a call center would hire people who could speak CLEARLY the language in which they are paid to speak. WITHOUT an attitude towards me the paying customer.

The app is great for finding trip options but once you’ve done that, I highly recommend you make your reservations at the actual company’s site. I made a flight reservation on an airline I don’t normally fly and could not check in on the Travelocity site, or the airline’s site. It’s kind of like your an unwanted step child. For the most part I never make a reservation on Travelocity and I’ve just been reminded why.

Multiple choices of car rental companies to choose from and able narrow field options. I like when reservation is confirmed you have confirmation number and the car rental confirmation number as well. My rental with Budget was no problem and they had my prior rental info on file. Be sure you have your own car insurance info if asked.

Multiple times I have had screw ups happen between what I have booked and what I get while at the hotel. I called this time the hotel to assure all is set for this weekends stay...and nope, wrong again. The hotel says Travelocity needs to change it and Travelocity says the hotel has to. Over this and will NOT USE this 3rd party booking again! The aggravation is NOT worth the $5 you save!!!

I tried to book a hotel with them, but there was some descriptions missing on what was offered for the price. I decided to call and talk to a representative. It was worthless. They just read from a script and don’t even understand the question that you’re trying to ask them. I asked for a manager and she told me that no one was available. Then she tried to help further by repeating the same thing she already told me. I asked for a manager again and this time she said ok, it will be just a couple minutes while they finish helping someone else. Put me on hold and 5 minutes later she comes back on and continues trying to help me. Hate to think what would have happened if I actually booked something and needed help on an issue. Last time I try them for travel.

We booked a hotel through Travelocity and when we arrived at our hotel only to find that there was no booking. Nope .. Travelocity let us down. We were fortunate enough to have had one more room available in Naples for Easter weekend. It took us almost a half an hour to figure out what to do and finally book that room... going back and forth with the front desk and Travelocity’s customer service who then had to talk to the front desk checkin... tremendously frustrating and embarrassing. Customer service is really going down the tube. Yelp buries good reviews unless the company pays for them.. and I am sure this review will be buried because it tells the truth... just call the hotel directly and save yourself a lot of frustration and unnecessary up charges. Happy Easter.

Called travelocity who told me I had no trips booked and the charge would fall off in a few days. Also told me I could purchase a new trip over the phone. We were on vacation in Seattle, and had booked The Red Lion in Kent to stay at, because from Travelocity’s website, the pictures made it look nice and clean, plus it had a pool and hot tub. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth and the pictures must have been taken the day it opened! Pulling into the parking lot, we saw a drug deal happening on the trunk of someone’s car. We walked in, and the woman working the front desk was about as unprofessional as it comes with a ratty looking spaghetti strap tank top and unkempt hair. On our way up to the room, we walked by the “pool” which was surrounded by paint cans and caution tape, and was totally empty. NONE of which was advertised online. Once we got into our room, the smell of air freshener was sickening, like whatever housekeeping they may have had was trying to cover up some nasty smell. THEN, as if ALL of this wasn’t bad enough, the bed skirt was COVERED in semen that was still dripping down to the floor, and there were tears in the sheets and bed skirt. CREEPY AND DEPLORABLE! Looks like the local hangout for prostitutes and drug dealers, and yet was advertised on Travelocity’s website as a great family hotel and a top pick of families. I will NEVER use Travelocity again!!! I was traveling alone with my 3 small children, and to show up to a slum like that after a full day, only to have to turn around and have to find an actual family friendly hotel in an unfamiliar area was UNACCEPTABLE. Fortunately I was able to book Embassy Suites through Priceline, as I was on the phone negotiating a refund with Travelocity. Not OK!

I wanted to book a flight and was nervous because they always say that if you don’t book 2 weeks ahead, you will pay a premium. So I paid a fare that was higher than I wanted to pay but was OK with it. Now I find that a week before the flight, prices have dropped be $100. I bought the price guarantee but found out that only works for 24 hours. What a gimmick! I am disappointed and paying way too much. Lesson learned! Don’t use ANY discount airfare because it isn’t a deal!!!

Booked two room but was only able to pay for one so two members of my family could go but the others could not because of a human error at Travelocity. Eventually got this resolved after 6 hours on the phone. Was supposed to get an email about a shore excursion credit within 72 hours and this did not happen in that time parameter. Do not ever book anything through this company.

I’ve been trying to bundle my airfare, rental car & hotel but had a little trouble doing that on this site. After making my selections & entering my payment method, I used the back arrow to check on something & had lost the CC info & the plain ticket info. Had to start over. A “save” button would be useful if you need to verify something before making the purchase.

I haven’t traveled in awhile but found that at times it was very confusing because of so many details, different languages and different procedures! Thank Gid for Travelocity! Booking through Travelocity made my trip unbelievably easy. Everything was in one place on my phone. I booked my plane, hotels and transportation through Travelocity. It showed up on my phone in the order that it was scheduled. Everything was in one place. I arranged for long term parking separately. I could access it through my email but it was difficult in the midst of traveling to find it. Next time I will do everything through Travelocity! At one point I needed to check in to two different airlines. Thank goodness for Travelocity because all my information was there in one spot! Everything I booked was exactly as described. I read the reviews and looked at the descriptions and they were very accurate! The other thing that was very helpful was they attached maps of each airport I was in. This made things so much easier because I could see where I needed to go for my next flight! I will always use Travelocity in the future!!

I booked a 3.5/4 star hotel at a great rate, 3 months prior to our New York trip. The trip was a birthday present to my son and it was our first time to the Big Apple. I had not received any communications from Travelocity about any changes but, when we finally arrived at the hotel, we found out the reservation was cancelled by their sister company, Expedia. On our first day in New York, I spent 4 hours on the phone with customer service who kept promising that they would fix it. We were tired and it was late so, we spent double the amount to stay the night at the hotel, who was nice enough to cut their rate in half for us. The following day, I called Travelocity for a follow up and was told a mixture of “you’re booked, you’re not booked” answers. They had not resolved the issue at all and we were faced again with paying double the amount to stay at the hotel. I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor who, after being on the phone for 6 hours this time, was able to book us to another hotel for the remainder of our trip. We couldn’t check in until the next day so, we had to pay for another night at the original hotel. Travelocity did credit us for most of the differences in hotel prices but they made it impossible for us to fully enjoy our vacation! The stress alone was taxing and I will never use them or Expedia again!!

App is super slow in updating my travel profile information. When trying to add my family members it takes forever. In addition, for the key required fields like date mm/did/yyyy, the app requires the slash marks but doesn’t populate then itself, which is very annoying. Also find the app super buggy when trying to look at trip information. I just added in trip details about where I want to go, such as hotel area for the place I am traveling, but it doesn’t save. It is very difficult to change the default (eg Cancun airport defaults to Cancun vicinity, whereas I want to change and keep hotel area to Riviera Maya). Also would love to be able to click a setting like, Only non-stop flights, to make mu searching more consistent. Long story short, is that the website is way easier and more efficient to use.

Be careful when u are booing the hotel specific when it says all inclusive! I booked all inclusive hotel in Cancun /Vila del palmer Cancun luxury beach resort and app said room is all inclusive. Right after I purchased it, I received the confirmation email from Travelocity and thanks God I usually don't check, but this time I checked and I couldn't find all inclusive package in my reservation. They charged me too much for just regular room. I called costumer service and I was almost more than 2hr and 20 min on the line with them without getting any result. They said u can changed ur room and buy the other one which is $1200 more than this room that u reserved. U guys be careful when u are booking any hotel for out side of US in this website and specific with this app. I am very very disappointed with their costumer service and this app:(((((

The pictures shown are very nice but they do not tell you that you have to climb 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment, and this is very difficult when you have to carry up your luggage. There is no elevator or lift. Floors do not appear to be clean and show mildew in the grout, so we made sure we wore our slippers or shoes at all times. They have a full shower but it is very small and tight. The area of the apartment is in an excellent area of Florence; very close to restaurants, shops, and famous sites to see, so this made it better for us. If the season is cold, there is a lock on the dial to raise the temperature in the apartment, so that can be uncomfortable. There is a refrigerator and a microwave oven. They leave you 2 towels total and nothing for the kitchen. We were told if we needed more towels, we would have to pay for them. We loved the area, but we would never stay in this apartment again.

Where to begin? Connecting flights: recently while searching flights, Travelocity came up with itineraries which spanned 24 hours. In order to get realistic itineraries, I had to search for intermediate destinations and manually search for connecting flights which did not show up otherwise. Why is this? I found 2 hour layovers in place of 8 hour layovers. You aren’t doing us any favors by not showing us all the options. Not interested in hotels! As soon as a flight is booked, you inundate customers with “deals” to book hotels. If I wanted a hotel, I’d have selected “flights + hotel”. Give us a way to opt out if this hotel spam! Don’t send an absurd “offer” just as an excuse to send yet another email! I can’t find any way to manage preferences to opt out of frequent annoying emails like “IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your loyalty has paid off, here's this offer for ...”, which don’t represent any special fare. It appears my ONLY option is to unsubscribe entirely. Travelocity is doing itself and its customers a disservice by spamming customers with meaningless emails. You need a way to stop getting these useless emails without unsubscribing altogether. Otherwise I will just stop using Travelocity entirely. You make one choice easy: bye bye Travelocity!

This app is very user friendly and never crashes. The search functions make it a lot easier to find what you're looking for. I love using the map to find hotels because it's really easy to filter and manipulate. Travelocity itself is such a great service. It makes it so easy to plan your entire trip and there's always discounts, especially when you book things together. Their customer service is also incredibly helpful and generous. I had an emergency while abroad and with one phone call they helped me work everything out and get as much of a refund for my flights as I could. I only had to pay a cancellation fee to the airline.

Spent over an hour on the phone with the barely comprehensible India call center because I wanted to use a flight credit to book a new flight. Asked to go from DCA to O’Hare and back, which ended up being too expensive. Decided to switch to Dulles instead of DCA. Finally thought I had flights from/to Dulles. Got an email saying they booked to from/to DALLAS not DULLES. I was perfectly clear with my instructions and repeated myself several times to the India call center. Obviously they don’t know anything about US geography and there’d be no logical reason to use DALLAS airport instead of DCA, which is in Virginia. Three calls and an hour an a half longer on the phone, and after waiting for Travelocity to decide whether THEY WOULD FIX THEIR OWN ERROR WITHOUT CHARGING ME, the snarky and unapologetic supervisor finally got me the correct flights. I’m done with Travelocity. Terrible service.

My family and I used Travelocity 8/18 to reserve a room while on our way to Florida. Upon “reserving” said room, Travelocity went ahead and immediately charged my account. When we got to the hotel we were informed that there was NO reservation made in my name nor any from Travelocity. The hotel was quickly running out of rooms so we had no choice but to go ahead and book another room and pay a second time. After checking I I phoned the Travelocity hotline and spoke to a complaint taker. The complaint taker listened to what I said then turned around and phoned the hotel to confirm my story. The complaint taker then told me that my story checked out and she would submit my complaint for a refund but this would not take place until Monday. Come Monday I received an email stating the hotel refused to refund my money for canceling the reservation, so it was my loss. I responded to the email and informed Travelocity that there was NO reservation made so NO reservation could be canceled, I simply wanted my money back that Travelocity had charged me. I immediately got an email from Travelocity from a “Do Not Reply” account at Travelocity. Seems as if Travelocity cannot admit their mistake and refuses to reimburse the money they charged me for services NOT provided.

4 stars instead of 5 because: Every now and then, it’s $5 more expensive to book through Expedia than through airline website. Also, most hotels, airlines, etc will work with you more easily if you didn’t book through a third party site. My TSA number does not end up on my boarding pass and neither do my frequent flier numbers-I end up booking and then going to the airline to link my TSA and to get the miles to accumulate. That’s annoying. But the deals are good, it simplifies travel planning, and I have used my expedia points recently and it was simple and really knocked the price down on a hotel room in LA.

I was extremely vulnerable and crying with no help from the Agency that happily took my money. I had no idea nobody in Turkey spoke more than a few words of English, barely even hi or bye I was stranded in the wrong airport because it only said Istanbul Terminal 1 on the reservation. After checking in I was two hours from the airport my flight was leaving from. I stayed on the phone for an hour and a half until I was escalated to a amanger who took another hour to escalate me to another manager who kept me on the phone for 90 min and hung up on me. Eyes swollen and tired I booked a new flight to get home safe. None of this would have happened if the airport was specified, there are three international airports in Istanbul turkey and none of them have a terminal 1 .. maybe people should rely on using their brain and companies can stop automating and programming everything so the world can run as it should with people that care and integrity for their business. These days are long gone- will never book with Travelocity .. my mom Booked with Expedia and they at least credited her half the rebooking fee. That was after trying to get a full refund or a free stand by flight .. all in 20 minutes

I tried to book a hotel with them, but there was some descriptions missing on what was offered for the price. I decided to call and talk to a representative. It was worthless. They just read from a script and don’t even understand the question that you’re trying to ask them. I asked for a manager and she told me that no one was available. Then she tried to help further by repeating the same thing she already told me. I asked for a manager again and this time she said ok, it will be just a couple minutes while they finish helping someone else. Put me on hold and 5 minutes later she comes back on and continues trying to help me. Hate to think what would have happened if I actually booked something and needed help on an issue. Last time I try them for travel.

I’ve used Travelocity for my airline and hotel bookings and I’ve always been satisfied. I had a problem one time (my fault!)with a last minute booking and the costumer service helped me reach the right people. With all the changes and expected fees, i honestly told customer service that it was my fault. I did not pay any charge fees for flight changes. In fact I got a check as a refund since they found a cheaper flight for my last minute booking. I’ve booked hotels internationally and locally and I always get the best deals through this app. Thanks guys!!!

I normally book my trips through this app. I do some price comparisons here and there but largely use this app. We stayed at a hotel recently and I e searched everywhere to write a review but can’t find it anywhere. I had to dig through emails to find my old itinerary to even get the info pulled back up as apparently you can’t look at past trips. Not even those that were a week ago. So even after looking up the itinerary I still couldn’t find a way to leave a review. So my suggestions to improve: have past trips posted or at least able to be found for x number of weeks. And make it easier to write reviews!!!!

Went online to book a getaway vacation I saw this vacation special hotel and airline to Saint Thomas so I went online to book suggested going to the app and getting a 15% discount so I did open vacation did not see a discount so I call after 30 minutes of being Whole day eventually came back to the phone gave me a 15% discount on the hotel we confirm all the reservation when I received my itinerary I had no flight to st Thomas you have to Swim there apparently so I called them and they said that I had to get a hold of the airline and give them all the information that I’ve given them to confirm my flight into St. Thomas even though I had an outgoing flight to St. Thomas one of the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever went through to get a three day weekend I will never ever use these folks yet

We booked a hotel through Travelocity and when we arrived at our hotel only to find that there was no booking. Nope .. Travelocity let us down. We were fortunate enough to have had one more room available in Naples for Easter weekend. It took us almost a half an hour to figure out what to do and finally book that room... going back and forth with the front desk and Travelocity’s customer service who then had to talk to the front desk checkin... tremendously frustrating and embarrassing. Customer service is really going down the tube. Yelp buries good reviews unless the company pays for them.. and I am sure this review will be buried because it tells the truth... just call the hotel directly and save yourself a lot of frustration and unnecessary up charges. On Monday July 9, 2018 my friend & I were to travel from Minneapolis Mn to Zurich by way of Philadelphia. Our flight from Minneapolis was rescheduled without Travelocity informing us of an earlier flight time. I called & the girl I spoke with assured us it was rescheduled but when we went to the American Airlines desk it was totally messed up. No flight for my friend & no return flight for myself. So we called Travelocity again & after 5 hours on the phone they did nothing. An American Airlines rep was finally able to reschedule us for the next day & American Airlines paid for our hotel stay in Minneapolis that night. American Airlines said we had to talk to Travelocity before they could reschedule but I still don’t understand this. At any rate I will never never use Travelocity again!!!

I have used Travelocity for so many years I really don’t remember. I have always gotten the best deals on cruises and airfare. I don’t use them for hotels though as I find those on my own. I have had to call for cancellations itinerary changes or just I changed my mind. And tho the phone calls can be a pain ... as in it’s hard to reach a real person... once you do they are always helpful and great. I will continue to use Travelocity for as long as I travel. And I travel far and wide often

Stayed at bikini beach resort, Panama City beach Florida. Travelocity falsely represented this resort and what it offered. I pick this resort based on what was offered and it having close access to the beach. The room was dirty. We had no running water. It was outdated. No internet access. No balcony. No pots/pans in the kitchen that was supposed to be fully stocked of utensils etc. there were a few forks. 2 plastic bowls and plates. The shower rained all over the bathroom. Construction on the hotel all over. No gripes on stairs my daughter fell down them and injured her hand. The showers by pool didn’t work. The room dafr had a broken off key in it. Parking was at your own risk if you could find it. My kid was offered drugs by another patron of the hotel. Do not stay here. 783. For 4 days was a waste of money. AND you have to rent your beach chair.

I’ve been pleased with Travelocity and it’s app. On a couple occasions they have over booked the hotel we stayed in, and when we arrived there were no rooms. It was rather stressful finding another place to stay last minute, however the customer service was nice and refunded our money and gave us a $50 voucher for our inconvenience. On one occasion, I had wished it was more as it was Memorial Day weekend and we had to travel pretty far to find another vacant hotel in Denver, but it was their policy and the agent could not do more.

This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any company. Completely incompetent customer service when I needed a simple cancellation due to an emergency medical situation. All they had to do was cancel a current flight and book a different one. They booked the additional flight without cancelling the original flight. With over 3 hours on the phone and they still can’t figure this out. This particular agent also told me she wasn’t experienced. Very difficult to even understand all of their accents, as I spoke with four different people during this interaction. I cannot even begin to describe how frustrating and completing ignorant this entire staff is.

I’ve been using the Travelocity app for over 15 years. I’ve been traveling all week and posting restaurant reviews and hotel reviews all week. As of yesterday, it seems as if the interface has changed. It all looks different, and you can no longer search for restaurant reviews. Also having issues. When trying to book a flight. When I tap into Parcher city, nothing happens. The keyboard doesn’t show up. If I tap like five times, then it finally will come up. I’ve tried clicking on app support, I’ve gone to the website is on my iPhone, clicked on Feedback and still haven’t heard anything. What is going on with your website and app?

I started booking my flight to ca and put all my information in and it keeps not going through. It said it was the card. So i try another card(stupid)and same thing. So i call. Good they had the information and im waiting till Monday. It’s Friday now. My problem is they do not address the problems with the app. I click the button it takes my money but I don’t get a ticket. Then this a hole suggests buying another ticket now that the money is coming back Monday. YOU TOOK ALL MY MONEY! 🤦🏾‍♂️ so now im waiting. Basically you have to call a representative to book thing. DONT USE THE APP. I’ll be back to tell you guys if i take my trip using travelocity

This was a very nice room. Could have been dusted behind center nightstand as I had to move out of way to access the plug for my computer. The staff lady was very pleasant. I happen to like walking out the door to my car so outside corridors are fine with me. It was close to my destination. I am planning on staying there again. Free breakfast with all carbs no fruit. That was disappointing. All in all for the cost and convenience I would give it a 5.

I travel for business on a regular basis, which includes multi-day driving trips. I LOVE the ability to book lodging on the fly depending how I feel at the time, wherever I am. I can stop as early or go as late as I want and no more worrying that a traffic delay or a long break makes my hotel suddenly two hours farther than when I want to get to bed. I've also gotten some incredible rooms with deep discounts this way. Love it!

I was given a $100 “Good Will” coupon from Travelocity, but wasn’t informed that it has an expiration date, and that it was only accessible via the website. Since I do everything via the app, it was never applied to any of my many trips I’ve booked. I also never received a notice that it was expiring. When I called Travelocity to ask them to reinstate the coupon and apply it to a current trip, after being on hold and transferred around for 30 minutes they said they couldn’t do it. So the “Good Will” of Travelocity is very limited and restricted, and too bad for the customer if something goes wrong.

Their customer service is outsourced joke (guy could not speak very good English), their planning is hit and miss. Great reviews are the ones that went well. They will blame you for the ones that do not go well. I have had a few issues with them and they blame you. The latest one they came back and blamed me. Well, I have screen video of the transactions showing the facts. I am fed up with them. I have reached out asking to talk with a real rep but nothing but blaming me. My videos of the facts will go public but everyone else realize that are so many better travel sites that care about their customers. Avoid Travelocity!!!!

I am pretty bothered with my first experience with Travelocity. I tried booking flights for our upcoming trip, but every time I would go to confirm I was prompted to wait and try again in a few minutes. Long story short, after following the prompts 5 times I was charged 5 times!! I do not have a confirmation for the flights that I have been charged for 5 times. I am upset to say the least! After calling customer service I was told that I will not be charged, but I have to wait 2-3 business days to find out for sure. Again, I still do not have the flights and 1400 dollars of mine is just floating around.

It’s incredibly frustrating and dishonest that you can spend so much time finding the perfect itinerary and go through the entire process to checkout aNd at the last second after hitting “submit payment” to get a notice that they “hate when this happens” and the price shoots up $300(+) extra dollars... and you either lose the trip details or are forced to pay it! I find it hard to believe the price went up that high in the 3 min it took me to complete the checkout ... they shld just reflect the prices for what they are instead of tricking people into thinking they’re actually getting a deal!!

We recently used their service to Puerto Rico We paid them for 3 nights, but we only stayed one night because the place we went to was terrible (acuarios) and we told them the same night about the issues. We decided to leave the next day and we even bought from them another 2 more nights to stay in another place and guess what? Now Travelocity is playing stupid with us saying that the hotel doesn’t want to refund the difference of the money we paid. If you are planning a vacation we recommend not to use this company to buy your package because they will do to you what they did to us.

It's the 8th time I use this app for my trips to New York. Until this day I have not faced any bad experiences while using Travelocity. Cancelling a booking was really simple with no charges and it finds rooms that fit perfectly for a couple. I've enjoyed using this app, I really recommend downloading it if you are looking for rooms and discounts and specially finding places hotels near specific areas you are interested in visiting.

I like when reservation is confirmed you have confirmation number and the car rental confirmation number as well. My rental with Budget was no problem and they had my prior rental info on file. I travel quite a lot so always looking for best hotel rates. Travelocity is my first choice. My only complaint which is significant is if you have any booking changes, customer service is hugely inefficient. I spent over 2 hours on the phone yesterday talking to 3 people who didn’t speak English as their first language. In addition to not knowing how to make changes the communication barrier was overwhelming. Finally got finished satisfactorily after wasting my morning.

I typically use Kayak but found a better rate on travelocity so I booked my flight and car online. Only to find out 3 days before I leave that only the car was confirmed so I had to scramble (and pay an extra $160) on a new flight. When i arrived to Nashville and went to Enterprise to pick up my car I find out the car is actually in downtown Nashville! I hear from the Enterprise folks this happens all the time. I will never use Travelocity again! And I would encourage others not to as well. Just use the company you are looking to work with - they can get you the same or better deal!

We used Travelocity to book the hotels for my honeymoon. Our last hotel didn’t take Amex and cancelled our reservation when we made it (2months before our trip).. which would have been fine if Travelocity had actually told us. In fact, that hotel was still listed in my itinerary on the app when we showed up there. Travelocity’s customer support was useless and only said that we will get a notification, which doesn’t help when I’m already at the hotel trying to figure out how to save our trip. Don’t risk your vacation, use another company!

Most people use an app for convenience and ease of use. My first experience here caused me to ask my self Why use this app? I had a booking set up on their mobile site. Very easy to use. I then got a teaser advising me if I used the app I could get 15% off. I love a discount so I downloaded an app. After inputting my itinerary I went searching for the same itinerary. Not easy. Ok start w hotel. I input the specific name from their website and discovered the Embassy Suites by Hilton wasn’t an option. No explanation, nothing. So Why use this app? Don’t waste your time, the website is easier and has a lot more options.

An hour later still trying to check in to my room. Contacted Travelocity and they contacted the hotel to find out what is going on. Travelocity assured me everything had been worked out and advised to continue with my reservation. The call was even escalated to a supervisor. Even after the supervisor call, I went back to the hotel and received the same response and a higher fee for a room I did not reserve. There was no transparency on the website and the hotel insists they are a first come first serve hotel. This was listed no where on the website. First booking with Travelocity was a fail and a bad experience. Now I will be going back to the other travel apps I use to book rooms. I’m very disappointed with the experience.

After making my selections & entering my payment method, I used the back arrow to check on something & had lost the CC info & the plain ticket info. Had to start over. A “save” button would be useful if you need to verify something before making the purchase.

Let me tell you a story. I have been a devoted Travelocity customer for over a decade. Today I have switched to Expedia. I found a round trip Air Canada round trip flight to Shanghai on Travelocity. $940 total. When I went to check out, a pop up said, “Prices change rapidly. The price is now $1040. Continue?” Um, that was weird. I closed the app and restarted. Researched. Same flight. Prices had NOT changed. Same flight. $940. At checkout: “Prices change rapidly. The price is now $1040. Continue?” Weird. I went to Expedia. Found the EXACT SAME FLIGHT. Price? $940. And a wonderful pop up appeared: “What you see is what you get. No hidden fees.” Upon checkout? $940. The same $940. The only explanation is that Travelocity is having trouble competing and is now charging fake fees to stay competitive. If so, I am truly saddened. I really loved you Travelocity. My love is no longer. Travelocity customers BEWARE.

So I paid a fare that was higher than I wanted to pay but was OK with it. Now I find that a week before the flight, prices have dropped be $100. I bought the price guarantee but found out that only works for 24 hours. What a gimmick! I am disappointed and paying way too much. Lesson learned! Don’t use ANY discount airfare because it isn’t a deal!!!

I’ve tried signing in on the app many times and it never works. There’s always various pop errors such as, “log in with website” to which it still shows an error message. I’ve booked many trips through Travelocity and was never able to use the convenience of the app.

I used the app to book hotels originally - but to to plans changing, I had to rebook hotels, several times, during my stay. Travelocity and this app was a Lifesaver!! I didn’t bring all of my credit cards with me so it was super easy to just use the app and pay in US dollars without overseas transaction fees. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Went for dinner last night at about 6pm. Hubby had Crusted Parmesan chicken and spaghetti squash which were both delicious. I had the new filet and lump crab cake. The filet was absolutely delicious. Crab cake was mostly filler. Definitely NOT lump crab. The place was not very busy, yet service was slow. Server was pleasant. We have been there several times and food is always delicious.

We went through the extra effort of downloading the app to get the discount on our stay and it didn’t work. Apparently the coupon is only good at “select” hotels. Disappointed because you know that probably means that coupon only works at two obscure hotels in China. Otherwise, the app was okay. A little difficult to maneuver which would have easily been ignored had the coupon work.

As soon as your flights delayed give it about 10 minutes and then the delayed time Becomes the new schedule time and it shows on time again it will continue to do that even if your flight is ultimately canceled till the next day it will show on time the next day… Ridiculous

This app has helped me several time to find something on the road. Prices and locations are usually very accessible. There are ocasional problems with vouchers at the hotel (the problem was the hotel’s problem) and the Travelocity team has always been helpful and resolved the issues.

When I first started using this app it was much easier to navigate. Today I was booking a package to get a better rate and feel like I was dooped. It started when the screen said “oops we hate it when this happens” or something to that affect and it went on to tell me that the price for the hotel was going up another 20 because they were selling out so fast!! So in haste I hurried up and picked the hotel which could have been made easier by giving me an option to know if it’s nearby where I’m traveling to but no. That’s not an option. Then it says something about travelers insurance and all this fine print but I’ve got to hurry and get that cheap price or it’s going to go up again. No mention of the cost of this “insurance “ I’ve always used travelocity to get rental cars and have never had any problems with canceling or changing my reservation but now I guess it’s absolutely set in stone that I take this room which when I called customer service not 5 minutes after I made the reservation because the rental car I’m also trying to book for some reason never asked me where I wanted to pick up the vehicle. It just assumed I wanted it in the town I am getting the hotel. So I called to clarify and to fix the pick up and drop off locations the customer service people barely spoke English and actually spoke very condescending to me because he figured I had done this huge error!! (good grief!!) He went on and on about how the hotel reservation is set in stone. Which is rather fishy in my opinion but not really a problem for me because it is right where I need to be. And I wasn’t asking for a cancellation I only wanted to modify the rental car pick up dates. So something that should have only taken a few minutes ended up wasting a huge chunk of my afternoon. I will think again before I use this service again. I also prefer speaking to people who can clearly enunciate the words in the English language. I would think a call center would hire people who could speak CLEARLY the language in which they are paid to speak. WITHOUT an attitude towards me the paying customer.

The app is great for finding trip options but once you’ve done that, I highly recommend you make your reservations at the actual company’s site. I made a flight reservation on an airline I don’t normally fly and could not check in on the Travelocity site, or the airline’s site. It’s kind of like your an unwanted step child. For the most part I never make a reservation on Travelocity and I’ve just been reminded why.

I like when reservation is confirmed you have confirmation number and the car rental confirmation number as well. My rental with Budget was no problem and they had my prior rental info on file. Be sure you have your own car insurance info if asked.

Multiple times I have had screw ups happen between what I have booked and what I get while at the hotel. I called this time the hotel to assure all is set for this weekends stay...and nope, wrong again. The hotel says Travelocity needs to change it and Travelocity says the hotel has to. Over this and will NOT USE this 3rd party booking again! The aggravation is NOT worth the $5 you save!!!

I tried to book a hotel with them, but there was some descriptions missing on what was offered for the price. I decided to call and talk to a representative. It was worthless. They just read from a script and don’t even understand the question that you’re trying to ask them. I asked for a manager and she told me that no one was available. Then she tried to help further by repeating the same thing she already told me. I asked for a manager again and this time she said ok, it will be just a couple minutes while they finish helping someone else. Put me on hold and 5 minutes later she comes back on and continues trying to help me. Hate to think what would have happened if I actually booked something and needed help on an issue. Last time I try them for travel.

We booked a hotel through Travelocity and when we arrived at our hotel only to find that there was no booking. Nope .. Travelocity let us down. We were fortunate enough to have had one more room available in Naples for Easter weekend. It took us almost a half an hour to figure out what to do and finally book that room... going back and forth with the front desk and Travelocity’s customer service who then had to talk to the front desk checkin... tremendously frustrating and embarrassing. Customer service is really going down the tube. Yelp buries good reviews unless the company pays for them.. and I am sure this review will be buried because it tells the truth... just call the hotel directly and save yourself a lot of frustration and unnecessary up charges. Happy Easter.

We were on vacation in Seattle, and had booked The Red Lion in Kent to stay at, because from Travelocity’s website, the pictures made it look nice and clean, plus it had a pool and hot tub. That couldn’t have been farther from the truth and the pictures must have been taken the day it opened! Pulling into the parking lot, we saw a drug deal happening on the trunk of someone’s car. We walked in, and the woman working the front desk was about as unprofessional as it comes with a ratty looking spaghetti strap tank top and unkempt hair. On our way up to the room, we walked by the “pool” which was surrounded by paint cans and caution tape, and was totally empty. NONE of which was advertised online. Once we got into our room, the smell of air freshener was sickening, like whatever housekeeping they may have had was trying to cover up some nasty smell. THEN, as if ALL of this wasn’t bad enough, the bed skirt was COVERED in semen that was still dripping down to the floor, and there were tears in the sheets and bed skirt. CREEPY AND DEPLORABLE! Looks like the local hangout for prostitutes and drug dealers, and yet was advertised on Travelocity’s website as a great family hotel and a top pick of families. I will NEVER use Travelocity again!!! I was traveling alone with my 3 small children, and to show up to a slum like that after a full day, only to have to turn around and have to find an actual family friendly hotel in an unfamiliar area was UNACCEPTABLE. Fortunately I was able to book Embassy Suites through Priceline, as I was on the phone negotiating a refund with Travelocity. Not OK!

Eventually got this resolved after 6 hours on the phone. Was supposed to get an email about a shore excursion credit within 72 hours and this did not happen in that time parameter. Do not ever book anything through this company.

I’ve been trying to bundle my airfare, rental car & hotel but had a little trouble doing that on this site. After making my selections & entering my payment method, I used the back arrow to check on something & had lost the CC info & the plain ticket info. Had to start over. A “save” button would be useful if you need to verify something before making the purchase.

I haven’t traveled in awhile but found that at times it was very confusing because of so many details, different languages and different procedures! Thank Gid for Travelocity! Booking through Travelocity made my trip unbelievably easy. Everything was in one place on my phone. I booked my plane, hotels and transportation through Travelocity. It showed up on my phone in the order that it was scheduled. Everything was in one place. I arranged for long term parking separately. I could access it through my email but it was difficult in the midst of traveling to find it. Next time I will do everything through Travelocity! At one point I needed to check in to two different airlines. Thank goodness for Travelocity because all my information was there in one spot! Everything I booked was exactly as described. I read the reviews and looked at the descriptions and they were very accurate! The other thing that was very helpful was they attached maps of each airport I was in. This made things so much easier because I could see where I needed to go for my next flight! I will always use Travelocity in the future!!

I booked a 3.5/4 star hotel at a great rate, 3 months prior to our New York trip. The trip was a birthday present to my son and it was our first time to the Big Apple. I had not received any communications from Travelocity about any changes but, when we finally arrived at the hotel, we found out the reservation was cancelled by their sister company, Expedia. On our first day in New York, I spent 4 hours on the phone with customer service who kept promising that they would fix it. We were tired and it was late so, we spent double the amount to stay the night at the hotel, who was nice enough to cut their rate in half for us. The following day, I called Travelocity for a follow up and was told a mixture of “you’re booked, you’re not booked” answers. They had not resolved the issue at all and we were faced again with paying double the amount to stay at the hotel. I finally demanded to speak to a supervisor who, after being on the phone for 6 hours this time, was able to book us to another hotel for the remainder of our trip. We couldn’t check in until the next day so, we had to pay for another night at the original hotel. Travelocity did credit us for most of the differences in hotel prices but they made it impossible for us to fully enjoy our vacation! The stress alone was taxing and I will never use them or Expedia again!!

App is super slow in updating my travel profile information. When trying to add my family members it takes forever. In addition, for the key required fields like date mm/did/yyyy, the app requires the slash marks but doesn’t populate then itself, which is very annoying. Also find the app super buggy when trying to look at trip information. I just added in trip details about where I want to go, such as hotel area for the place I am traveling, but it doesn’t save. It is very difficult to change the default (eg Cancun airport defaults to Cancun vicinity, whereas I want to change and keep hotel area to Riviera Maya). Also would love to be able to click a setting like, Only non-stop flights, to make mu searching more consistent. Long story short, is that the website is way easier and more efficient to use.

Be careful when u are booing the hotel specific when it says all inclusive! I booked all inclusive hotel in Cancun /Vila del palmer Cancun luxury beach resort and app said room is all inclusive. Right after I purchased it, I received the confirmation email from Travelocity and thanks God I usually don't check, but this time I checked and I couldn't find all inclusive package in my reservation. They charged me too much for just regular room. I called costumer service and I was almost more than 2hr and 20 min on the line with them without getting any result. They said u can changed ur room and buy the other one which is $1200 more than this room that u reserved. U guys be careful when u are booking any hotel for out side of US in this website and specific with this app. I am very very disappointed with their costumer service and this app:(((((

The pictures shown are very nice but they do not tell you that you have to climb 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment, and this is very difficult when you have to carry up your luggage. There is no elevator or lift. Floors do not appear to be clean and show mildew in the grout, so we made sure we wore our slippers or shoes at all times. They have a full shower but it is very small and tight. The area of the apartment is in an excellent area of Florence; very close to restaurants, shops, and famous sites to see, so this made it better for us. If the season is cold, there is a lock on the dial to raise the temperature in the apartment, so that can be uncomfortable. There is a refrigerator and a microwave oven. They leave you 2 towels total and nothing for the kitchen. We were told if we needed more towels, we would have to pay for them. We loved the area, but we would never stay in this apartment again.

Where to begin? Connecting flights: recently while searching flights, Travelocity came up with itineraries which spanned 24 hours. In order to get realistic itineraries, I had to search for intermediate destinations and manually search for connecting flights which did not show up otherwise. Why is this? I found 2 hour layovers in place of 8 hour layovers. You aren’t doing us any favors by not showing us all the options. Not interested in hotels! As soon as a flight is booked, you inundate customers with “deals” to book hotels. If I wanted a hotel, I’d have selected “flights + hotel”. Give us a way to opt out if this hotel spam! Don’t send an absurd “offer” just as an excuse to send yet another email! I can’t find any way to manage preferences to opt out of frequent annoying emails like “IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your loyalty has paid off, here's this offer for ...”, which don’t represent any special fare. It appears my ONLY option is to unsubscribe entirely. Travelocity is doing itself and its customers a disservice by spamming customers with meaningless emails. You need a way to stop getting these useless emails without unsubscribing altogether. Otherwise I will just stop using Travelocity entirely. You make one choice easy: bye bye Travelocity!

This app is very user friendly and never crashes. The search functions make it a lot easier to find what you're looking for. I love using the map to find hotels because it's really easy to filter and manipulate. Travelocity itself is such a great service. It makes it so easy to plan your entire trip and there's always discounts, especially when you book things together. Their customer service is also incredibly helpful and generous. I had an emergency while abroad and with one phone call they helped me work everything out and get as much of a refund for my flights as I could. I only had to pay a cancellation fee to the airline.

Spent over an hour on the phone with the barely comprehensible India call center because I wanted to use a flight credit to book a new flight. Asked to go from DCA to O’Hare and back, which ended up being too expensive. Decided to switch to Dulles instead of DCA. Finally thought I had flights from/to Dulles. Got an email saying they booked to from/to DALLAS not DULLES. I was perfectly clear with my instructions and repeated myself several times to the India call center. Obviously they don’t know anything about US geography and there’d be no logical reason to use DALLAS airport instead of DCA, which is in Virginia. Three calls and an hour an a half longer on the phone, and after waiting for Travelocity to decide whether THEY WOULD FIX THEIR OWN ERROR WITHOUT CHARGING ME, the snarky and unapologetic supervisor finally got me the correct flights. I’m done with Travelocity. Terrible service.

My family and I used Travelocity 8/18 to reserve a room while on our way to Florida. Upon “reserving” said room, Travelocity went ahead and immediately charged my account. When we got to the hotel we were informed that there was NO reservation made in my name nor any from Travelocity. The hotel was quickly running out of rooms so we had no choice but to go ahead and book another room and pay a second time. After checking I I phoned the Travelocity hotline and spoke to a complaint taker. The complaint taker listened to what I said then turned around and phoned the hotel to confirm my story. The complaint taker then told me that my story checked out and she would submit my complaint for a refund but this would not take place until Monday. Come Monday I received an email stating the hotel refused to refund my money for canceling the reservation, so it was my loss. I responded to the email and informed Travelocity that there was NO reservation made so NO reservation could be canceled, I simply wanted my money back that Travelocity had charged me. I immediately got an email from Travelocity from a “Do Not Reply” account at Travelocity. Seems as if Travelocity cannot admit their mistake and refuses to reimburse the money they charged me for services NOT provided.

4 stars instead of 5 because: Every now and then, it’s $5 more expensive to book through Expedia than through airline website. Also, most hotels, airlines, etc will work with you more easily if you didn’t book through a third party site. My TSA number does not end up on my boarding pass and neither do my frequent flier numbers-I end up booking and then going to the airline to link my TSA and to get the miles to accumulate. That’s annoying. But the deals are good, it simplifies travel planning, and I have used my expedia points recently and it was simple and really knocked the price down on a hotel room in LA.

I was extremely vulnerable and crying with no help from the Agency that happily took my money. I had no idea nobody in Turkey spoke more than a few words of English, barely even hi or bye I was stranded in the wrong airport because it only said Istanbul Terminal 1 on the reservation. After checking in I was two hours from the airport my flight was leaving from. I stayed on the phone for an hour and a half until I was escalated to a amanger who took another hour to escalate me to another manager who kept me on the phone for 90 min and hung up on me. Eyes swollen and tired I booked a new flight to get home safe. None of this would have happened if the airport was specified, there are three international airports in Istanbul turkey and none of them have a terminal 1 .. maybe people should rely on using their brain and companies can stop automating and programming everything so the world can run as it should with people that care and integrity for their business. These days are long gone- will never book with Travelocity .. my mom Booked with Expedia and they at least credited her half the rebooking fee. That was after trying to get a full refund or a free stand by flight .. all in 20 minutes

I tried to book a hotel with them, but there was some descriptions missing on what was offered for the price. I decided to call and talk to a representative. It was worthless. They just read from a script and don’t even understand the question that you’re trying to ask them. I asked for a manager and she told me that no one was available. Then she tried to help further by repeating the same thing she already told me. I asked for a manager again and this time she said ok, it will be just a couple minutes while they finish helping someone else. Put me on hold and 5 minutes later she comes back on and continues trying to help me. Hate to think what would have happened if I actually booked something and needed help on an issue. Last time I try them for travel.

I’ve used Travelocity for my airline and hotel bookings and I’ve always been satisfied. I had a problem one time (my fault!)with a last minute booking and the costumer service helped me reach the right people. With all the changes and expected fees, i honestly told customer service that it was my fault. I did not pay any charge fees for flight changes. In fact I got a check as a refund since they found a cheaper flight for my last minute booking. I’ve booked hotels internationally and locally and I always get the best deals through this app. Thanks guys!!!

I normally book my trips through this app. I do some price comparisons here and there but largely use this app. We stayed at a hotel recently and I e searched everywhere to write a review but can’t find it anywhere. I had to dig through emails to find my old itinerary to even get the info pulled back up as apparently you can’t look at past trips. Not even those that were a week ago. So even after looking up the itinerary I still couldn’t find a way to leave a review. So my suggestions to improve: have past trips posted or at least able to be found for x number of weeks. And make it easier to write reviews!!!!

Went online to book a getaway vacation I saw this vacation special hotel and airline to Saint Thomas so I went online to book suggested going to the app and getting a 15% discount so I did open vacation did not see a discount so I call after 30 minutes of being Whole day eventually came back to the phone gave me a 15% discount on the hotel we confirm all the reservation when I received my itinerary I had no flight to st Thomas you have to Swim there apparently so I called them and they said that I had to get a hold of the airline and give them all the information that I’ve given them to confirm my flight into St. Thomas even though I had an outgoing flight to St. Thomas one of the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever went through to get a three day weekend I will never ever use these folks yet

We booked a hotel through Travelocity and when we arrived at our hotel only to find that there was no booking. Nope .. Travelocity let us down. We were fortunate enough to have had one more room available in Naples for Easter weekend. It took us almost a half an hour to figure out what to do and finally book that room... going back and forth with the front desk and Travelocity’s customer service who then had to talk to the front desk checkin... tremendously frustrating and embarrassing. Customer service is really going down the tube. Yelp buries good reviews unless the company pays for them.. and I am sure this review will be buried because it tells the truth... just call the hotel directly and save yourself a lot of frustration and unnecessary up charges. On Monday July 9, 2018 my friend & I were to travel from Minneapolis Mn to Zurich by way of Philadelphia. Our flight from Minneapolis was rescheduled without Travelocity informing us of an earlier flight time. I called & the girl I spoke with assured us it was rescheduled but when we went to the American Airlines desk it was totally messed up. No flight for my friend & no return flight for myself. So we called Travelocity again & after 5 hours on the phone they did nothing. An American Airlines rep was finally able to reschedule us for the next day & American Airlines paid for our hotel stay in Minneapolis that night. American Airlines said we had to talk to Travelocity before they could reschedule but I still don’t understand this. At any rate I will never never use Travelocity again!!!

I have used Travelocity for so many years I really don’t remember. I have always gotten the best deals on cruises and airfare. I don’t use them for hotels though as I find those on my own. I have had to call for cancellations itinerary changes or just I changed my mind. And tho the phone calls can be a pain ... as in it’s hard to reach a real person... once you do they are always helpful and great. I will continue to use Travelocity for as long as I travel. And I travel far and wide often

Stayed at bikini beach resort, Panama City beach Florida. Travelocity falsely represented this resort and what it offered. I pick this resort based on what was offered and it having close access to the beach. The room was dirty. We had no running water. It was outdated. No internet access. No balcony. No pots/pans in the kitchen that was supposed to be fully stocked of utensils etc. there were a few forks. 2 plastic bowls and plates. The shower rained all over the bathroom. Construction on the hotel all over. No gripes on stairs my daughter fell down them and injured her hand. The showers by pool didn’t work. The room dafr had a broken off key in it. Parking was at your own risk if you could find it. My kid was offered drugs by another patron of the hotel. Do not stay here. 783. For 4 days was a waste of money. AND you have to rent your beach chair.

I’ve been pleased with Travelocity and it’s app. On a couple occasions they have over booked the hotel we stayed in, and when we arrived there were no rooms. It was rather stressful finding another place to stay last minute, however the customer service was nice and refunded our money and gave us a $50 voucher for our inconvenience. On one occasion, I had wished it was more as it was Memorial Day weekend and we had to travel pretty far to find another vacant hotel in Denver, but it was their policy and the agent could not do more.

This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any company. Completely incompetent customer service when I needed a simple cancellation due to an emergency medical situation. All they had to do was cancel a current flight and book a different one. They booked the additional flight without cancelling the original flight. With over 3 hours on the phone and they still can’t figure this out. This particular agent also told me she wasn’t experienced. Very difficult to even understand all of their accents, as I spoke with four different people during this interaction. I cannot even begin to describe how frustrating and completing ignorant this entire staff is.

I’ve been using the Travelocity app for over 15 years. I’ve been traveling all week and posting restaurant reviews and hotel reviews all week. As of yesterday, it seems as if the interface has changed. It all looks different, and you can no longer search for restaurant reviews. Also having issues. When trying to book a flight. When I tap into Parcher city, nothing happens. The keyboard doesn’t show up. If I tap like five times, then it finally will come up. I’ve tried clicking on app support, I’ve gone to the website is on my iPhone, clicked on Feedback and still haven’t heard anything. What is going on with your website and app?

I started booking my flight to ca and put all my information in and it keeps not going through. It said it was the card. So i try another card(stupid)and same thing. So i call. Good they had the information and im waiting till Monday. It’s Friday now. My problem is they do not address the problems with the app. I click the button it takes my money but I don’t get a ticket. Then this a hole suggests buying another ticket now that the money is coming back Monday. YOU TOOK ALL MY MONEY! 🤦🏾‍♂️ so now im waiting. Basically you have to call a representative to book thing. DONT USE THE APP. I’ll be back to tell you guys if i take my trip using travelocity

This was a very nice room. Could have been dusted behind center nightstand as I had to move out of way to access the plug for my computer. The staff lady was very pleasant. I happen to like walking out the door to my car so outside corridors are fine with me. It was close to my destination. I am planning on staying there again. Free breakfast with all carbs no fruit. That was disappointing. All in all for the cost and convenience I would give it a 5.

I travel for business on a regular basis, which includes multi-day driving trips. I LOVE the ability to book lodging on the fly depending how I feel at the time, wherever I am. I can stop as early or go as late as I want and no more worrying that a traffic delay or a long break makes my hotel suddenly two hours farther than when I want to get to bed. I've also gotten some incredible rooms with deep discounts this way. Love it!

I was given a $100 “Good Will” coupon from Travelocity, but wasn’t informed that it has an expiration date, and that it was only accessible via the website. Since I do everything via the app, it was never applied to any of my many trips I’ve booked. I also never received a notice that it was expiring. When I called Travelocity to ask them to reinstate the coupon and apply it to a current trip, after being on hold and transferred around for 30 minutes they said they couldn’t do it. So the “Good Will” of Travelocity is very limited and restricted, and too bad for the customer if something goes wrong.

Their customer service is outsourced joke (guy could not speak very good English), their planning is hit and miss. Great reviews are the ones that went well. They will blame you for the ones that do not go well. I have had a few issues with them and they blame you. The latest one they came back and blamed me. Well, I have screen video of the transactions showing the facts. I am fed up with them. I have reached out asking to talk with a real rep but nothing but blaming me. My videos of the facts will go public but everyone else realize that are so many better travel sites that care about their customers. Avoid Travelocity!!!!

I am pretty bothered with my first experience with Travelocity. I tried booking flights for our upcoming trip, but every time I would go to confirm I was prompted to wait and try again in a few minutes. Long story short, after following the prompts 5 times I was charged 5 times!! I do not have a confirmation for the flights that I have been charged for 5 times. I am upset to say the least! After calling customer service I was told that I will not be charged, but I have to wait 2-3 business days to find out for sure. Again, I still do not have the flights and 1400 dollars of mine is just floating around.

It’s incredibly frustrating and dishonest that you can spend so much time finding the perfect itinerary and go through the entire process to checkout aNd at the last second after hitting “submit payment” to get a notice that they “hate when this happens” and the price shoots up $300(+) extra dollars... and you either lose the trip details or are forced to pay it! I find it hard to believe the price went up that high in the 3 min it took me to complete the checkout ... they shld just reflect the prices for what they are instead of tricking people into thinking they’re actually getting a deal!!

We recently used their service to Puerto Rico We paid them for 3 nights, but we only stayed one night because the place we went to was terrible (acuarios) and we told them the same night about the issues. We decided to leave the next day and we even bought from them another 2 more nights to stay in another place and guess what? Now Travelocity is playing stupid with us saying that the hotel doesn’t want to refund the difference of the money we paid. If you are planning a vacation we recommend not to use this company to buy your package because they will do to you what they did to us.

It's the 8th time I use this app for my trips to New York. Until this day I have not faced any bad experiences while using Travelocity. Cancelling a booking was really simple with no charges and it finds rooms that fit perfectly for a couple. I've enjoyed using this app, I really recommend downloading it if you are looking for rooms and discounts and specially finding places hotels near specific areas you are interested in visiting.

I like when reservation is confirmed you have confirmation number and the car rental confirmation number as well. My rental with Budget was no problem and they had my prior rental info on file. I travel quite a lot so always looking for best hotel rates. Travelocity is my first choice. My only complaint which is significant is if you have any booking changes, customer service is hugely inefficient. I spent over 2 hours on the phone yesterday talking to 3 people who didn’t speak English as their first language. In addition to not knowing how to make changes the communication barrier was overwhelming. Finally got finished satisfactorily after wasting my morning.

I typically use Kayak but found a better rate on travelocity so I booked my flight and car online. Only to find out 3 days before I leave that only the car was confirmed so I had to scramble (and pay an extra $160) on a new flight. When i arrived to Nashville and went to Enterprise to pick up my car I find out the car is actually in downtown Nashville! I hear from the Enterprise folks this happens all the time. I will never use Travelocity again! And I would encourage others not to as well. Just use the company you are looking to work with - they can get you the same or better deal!

We used Travelocity to book the hotels for my honeymoon. Our last hotel didn’t take Amex and cancelled our reservation when we made it (2months before our trip).. which would have been fine if Travelocity had actually told us. In fact, that hotel was still listed in my itinerary on the app when we showed up there. Travelocity’s customer support was useless and only said that we will get a notification, which doesn’t help when I’m already at the hotel trying to figure out how to save our trip. Don’t risk your vacation, use another company!

Most people use an app for convenience and ease of use. My first experience here caused me to ask my self Why use this app? I had a booking set up on their mobile site. Very easy to use. I then got a teaser advising me if I used the app I could get 15% off. I love a discount so I downloaded an app. After inputting my itinerary I went searching for the same itinerary. Not easy. Ok start w hotel. I input the specific name from their website and discovered the Embassy Suites by Hilton wasn’t an option. No explanation, nothing. So Why use this app? Don’t waste your time, the website is easier and has a lot more options.

Then I ended up being able to attend the original dates and have now had to book a room again with Travelocity. They saved me on this misunderstanding from the seminar. Have complete trust in Booking With Travelocity. It has always proven to be the most reliable. I don’t worry at all about my booking. I have an ill family member in the Atlanta area that I’ve had to travel several times to help take care of. Has been a comfort booking through Travelocity even last minute I found Reasonable rates. And realistic ratings on the hotels. Thank you Travelocity!
Nightmare check in and no transparency on website

An hour later still trying to check in to my room. Contacted Travelocity and they contacted the hotel to find out what is going on. Travelocity assured me everything had been worked out and advised to continue with my reservation. The call was even escalated to a supervisor. Even after the supervisor call, I went back to the hotel and received the same response and a higher fee for a room I did not reserve. There was no transparency on the website and the hotel insists they are a first come first serve hotel. This was listed no where on the website. First booking with Travelocity was a fail and a bad experience. Now I will be going back to the other travel apps I use to book rooms. I’m very disappointed with the experience.

I’ve been trying to bundle my airfare, rental car & hotel but had a little trouble doing that on this site. After making my selections & entering my payment method, I used the back arrow to check on something & had lost the CC info & the plain ticket info. Had to start over. A “save” button would be useful if you need to verify something before making the purchase.

Let me tell you a story. I have been a devoted Travelocity customer for over a decade. Today I have switched to Expedia. I found a round trip Air Canada round trip flight to Shanghai on Travelocity. $940 total. When I went to check out, a pop up said, “Prices change rapidly. The price is now $1040. Continue?” Um, that was weird. I closed the app and restarted. Researched. Same flight. Prices had NOT changed. Same flight. $940. At checkout: “Prices change rapidly. The price is now $1040. Continue?” Weird. I went to Expedia. Found the EXACT SAME FLIGHT. Price? $940. And a wonderful pop up appeared: “What you see is what you get. No hidden fees.” Upon checkout? $940. The same $940. The only explanation is that Travelocity is having trouble competing and is now charging fake fees to stay competitive. If so, I am truly saddened. I really loved you Travelocity. My love is no longer. Travelocity customers BEWARE.

I wanted to book a flight and was nervous because they always say that if you don’t book 2 weeks ahead, you will pay a premium. So I paid a fare that was higher than I wanted to pay but was OK with it. Now I find that a week before the flight, prices have dropped be $100. I bought the price guarantee but found out that only works for 24 hours. What a gimmick! I am disappointed and paying way too much. Lesson learned! Don’t use ANY discount airfare because it isn’t a deal!!!

I’ve tried signing in on the app many times and it never works. There’s always various pop errors such as, “log in with website” to which it still shows an error message. I’ve booked many trips through Travelocity and was never able to use the convenience of the app.
This app was a lifesaver on my trip to India!!

I used the app to book hotels originally - but to to plans changing, I had to rebook hotels, several times, during my stay. Travelocity and this app was a Lifesaver!! I didn’t bring all of my credit cards with me so it was super easy to just use the app and pay in US dollars without overseas transaction fees. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Went for dinner last night at about 6pm. Hubby had Crusted Parmesan chicken and spaghetti squash which were both delicious. I had the new filet and lump crab cake. The filet was absolutely delicious. Crab cake was mostly filler. Definitely NOT lump crab. The place was not very busy, yet service was slow. Server was pleasant. We have been there several times and food is always delicious.

We went through the extra effort of downloading the app to get the discount on our stay and it didn’t work. Apparently the coupon is only good at “select” hotels. Disappointed because you know that probably means that coupon only works at two obscure hotels in China. Otherwise, the app was okay. A little difficult to maneuver which would have easily been ignored had the coupon work.
