False advertising and double charges
by brimorninghh syafh on 2021/05/05 04:40
I got an ad for this app and it looked great but nothing I saw on the ad is actually in the app and I got some “offer” for half off a “lifetime” subscription but then was charged weekly for a “premium subscription” that still doesn’t allow you to view everything on the app. The original picture that made me interested in the app is nowhere on there.
Not working properly
by linaa492 on 2021/05/02 04:07
I’m trying to get my routines set up but the times I put don’t stay. For example, if I put something like drink water at 8 am it goes back to the default time so the reminders don’t work properly. I tried emailing the support team and still no answer. I paid for the year and the app doesn’t even work.
Can you help me?
by bannaheaddddd on 2021/04/29 23:55
I was so happy to get this app it looked really good and I feel like I could have done so much but every time I try to click on one challenge and asked me for money but then I clicked ask but then I would always say I have to read it and it was just freeze and I can never go actually to the challenge. I don’t know how to use this app can someone please help me!
Buyer Beware
by BluntBish2 on 2021/04/29 20:57
They double charged me for lifetime access. Rude. App deleted.
Becareful
by Danyale M on 2021/04/28 20:00
They ask for payment or a subscription, which is all good. But you make the payment and then they pop up with it being half the price. Shady
Are you gonna let me experience the app?
by calizco on 2021/04/27 13:06
I was very curious about this app. I wanted to try it before I made a major app purchase, so I tried the 49 cent option for the first week, but I can’t get past the 19.99 one time sign up. It won’t let me go beyond that screen to test the app out. So now I’ve wasted 49 cents for an app I can’t even try. Don’t offer to unlock the app in a trial and then not do it,
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.
by anon754895368644685 on 2021/04/27 09:50
the reviews tend to show to 5 star reviews first so that’s why I gave it 5 stars. don’t download this app. I was double charged for a lifetime subscription that I did NOT authorize! you have to buy a subscription to even get into the app, which I was pretty much tricked I into buying. then right after, I was offered the same subscription at half price and since I was tricked into buying the other & it hadn’t taken anything out of my account, I decided to go for the half price. I was charged for both!!!!! $40 then $20 right after and most the features on the app are STILL LOCKED. I’m very angry but these people don’t respond when you tell them about this. i’m contacting apple directly and my bank. be careful and don’t download rhi’s app it’s a SCAM.
Disappointing - lacking list - money hungry app
by AshleyLK on 2021/04/27 02:59
Honestly, it’s like they took lists from Pinterest and added it to a calendar. For $20 I’m really disappointed. Plus they want you to pay additional money to unlock further features despite boasting a lifetime membership for $20. Rip off. I can just make the same thing in Notes and my calendar. Additionally, there are hardly any habit lists.

They expect you to really play monthly
by Yeyi001 on 2021/04/25 19:02
Can’t do anything unless you pay monthly, it’s ridiculous for a simple reminder. Like they couldn’t do a one time charge, such a thing is definitely not worth a monthly payment 🙄
Not enough opportunity to try the app out before payment
by Rarrar5 on 2021/04/25 07:36
Really disappointed when I download apps like this to try out. Every click leads to the payment page and it’s nearly impossible to test the app at all without paying for it first or writing a review in exchange for trying the app (which seems deceiving to customers that the company encourages people to leave reviews before having the opportunity to use the product). The free trial Is 3 days, and I didn’t bother because the point of the app is to track weekly and monthly challenges/goals.
Buyer’s remorse
by cbearit on 2021/04/24 03:22
I had to pay for this app before being allowed to see what I was paying for. $40 later and I’m so dissatisfied. Totally feel ripped off. I was a fool for trusting the 4.4 star rating. Dooped and foolish decision.
Completely misleading
by Ben.grander on 2021/04/23 13:03
The ad for the app was clean and something I would have absolutely wanted to use, so when it asked if I wanted a lifetime subscription for half off ($20) I thought sure. Problem was that the app was nothing like it advertised and has stupid challenges that aren’t flexible at all. AVOID THIS SCAM
Click Bait
by Aunt Scary on 2021/04/23 12:10
The ad seemed to show many many lists of options for habits and goals from the serious time management to lists of movies seen. As someone looking for some new ideas for hobbies I was interested but you couldn’t see all the options before paying and after doing the unlock all I was very disappointed by the minimal amount of challenges and how many of even those do not apply to me and my life. The options I wanted may be available after paying even more but I’m so annoyed that I am unwilling to look further or invest more.
What?
by Biaya23 on 2021/04/23 10:29
49 cents to even look at the app and yet it seems every feature is still locked. :/
Subscription is not optional
by izzy_92837401 on 2021/04/22 02:14
Not like most apps, they do not have a free version.
What’s the point of having a free version?
by drea1710 on 2021/04/21 17:00
I’m trying to see if this app would be worth purchasing for $20+ and I can’t get
I can’t even try it out!
by JayeBklyn on 2021/04/21 14:54
So many screens to sign up for a subscription! Can a person at least try it out first? I’ll be deleting this app ASAP.
Clickbait
by Fiveofus on 2021/04/21 13:55
I couldn’t even open it without getting upgrade screens to pay. Even tho I opted for the week 49 cent trial I couldn’t get past the screen where they offered me a lower lifetime subscription. It just stayed there even after the timer expired. I couldn’t even start over because it said I already had the week sub but I couldn’t see any content. I figured an app that prevents you seeing what it offers is an app that doesn’t offer much. I saw it as an ad on Facebook. I’ve never had luck with FB ads so I should’ve known better. Do yourself a favor and get a different app.
Money Pit
by Jhonn1985 on 2021/04/19 15:03
Not only does the app want you to pay before you can even view it, many of the resources still aren’t available even if you fall for the trap and pay for a lifetime subscription. I spring for the week trial at first ($0.49), then the app offered me a discount for the lifetime subscription: only $19.99 (down from $39.99). I fell for it. Imagine my frustration, disappointment, and disgust when it then wanted to charge me again for access to additional resources. I thought I was buying a full-access subscription. Think again. I immediately canceled my subscription and deleted the app
Why do i have to put a review

“Free” to download...but that’s it
by GilTrejo on 2021/04/19 12:53
Too many 1-star reviews that go unaddressed by the developers...why???
Zero stars
by Bambieblondebabe on 2021/04/18 20:13
So I get that some apps are paid apps. Developers spend a lot of time and energy creating things, and yes they should be paid. But this app appears to be “free with some paid content” telling me I can use at least some of the app. Nope. Immediately I am prompted to pay for a week, a month or lifetime for 40$. Too rich for my blood, especially having NO IDEA if the app is useful or something I actually want. Maybe the “try before you buy” method would be better...
I love you guys
by _bruce91 on 2021/04/15 07:33
I’ve tried to form a running habit for many years now but now I got HabitBox and my life completely changed. Thank you so much for the app you are making! Please add more challenges. The ones you have are awesome<3

I downloaded this application, but I don’t know it’s not specially formatted for iPad. Therefore, I was confused when I couldn't find an option to reduce the font size. I really want to be able to zoom out, because everything on the iPad is big. But I realized that, this is a very large phone version, and there is no way to shrink the text or make other changes to discover more habits immediately. I like the colors. I like the layout and the way you can register with just one click, even if you exceed your goal, you can complete it every day and stay focused. Many applications only allow you to check in and "confirm" the maximum number of days you said you will complete the task. Hence, if you go over, you will not be able to record them. But With this application, you can at least see and record that you have completed this operation (but can your percentage exceed 100%? I forgot to check...I just want to format it as an iPad! (And someday desktop!) I just want to be able to view my habits at any time and not feel like a granny who can’t see clearly. (No offense to grandmothers and blind people)

Download “Fabulous” instead!
by BornUnderABlondeSign on 2021/04/14 04:54
I had to purchase a subscription to even LOOK at the app which should’ve been a giant red flag, but it looked good in the Facebook ad. Ha! WRONG. It’s inflexible and disorganized. For example, in the “morning routine” challenge, you don’t get to customize anything or tailor it to your needs. Just a list of random b.s. that may or may not even interest you. I paid for a month of NOTHING. Sure would be nice to get my $ back, seeing as how you have to pay to even check it out. Developers: not even allowing folks to peruse the app before subscribing is shady and makes you look like crooks. Even a 24-hour free trial is better than nothing and a week is even better. Which is why I recommend Fabulous. You DO get a lengthy free trial of the premium version, and the basic version is FREE. A lot of folks do just fine with the basic! You can customize every single challenge or habit to suit your lifestyle and preferences.

Using an app is not really my thing. I believed using a habit tracker is a dumb idea. But I was always failing at some habits on a daily basis. I’ve attempted Streaker...But I was not wooed by the one color theme. I tried Productive...but it just too difficult for my taste and worse of it, I needed to pay upfront before testing it. Then I tried HabitBox...and it was all I needed! They will let you take a look at the app by giving you access to create initial habits. If you need limitless habit creation simply purchase the HabitBox bundle and not the growth bundle. It is super simple, intuitive with great color palette. With enough detail customization, you can buy into this whole habit tracking concept. I’ve had the app for 1 day so I don’t know, if it’ll boom my productiveness yet. But I honestly have devoted resources to the concept and am looking ahead to a few results. Thanks guys!

I have used the free version of the app many times, but I always find myself subscribing. I have tried millions of other reminders/habit trackers/health apps but I keep coming back and paying for this one. This is the best app I have found that Provides the perfect amount of customization without feeling overwhelming. The user interface is very easy to use. You can create as many habits as you need. You can choose to develop or eliminate an habit (only apps I find.! ) even setting a numerous reminder for an habit. For example, I have the memory of drinking water every two hours on weekdays, but not on weekends because I don’t want to be awakened. My only suggestion is to add more colors to represent the habits of people like me, who have about 1 million habits that I have to be responsible for.

by ureryiug on 2021/04/13 17:14
I've been determined to build better habits the past few few months. I have tried a lot of apps all this while but this one is my favorite. The interface is straightforward and clean and the dark theme is just my favorite so I’m biased lol. Viewing your objectives is straightforward as it looks, however what I love most is the ability to set goals and desires for the week and month as well. A lot of the apps I've attempted earlier than are very centered on daily habits. Which is ideal and all. In theory, it need to result in extra productivity. But as I've studied in some books and first hand experience, the scope may be very constrained and while you fail to satisfy your objectives you begin to feel awful about your progress in preference to feeling extra inspired to get back on track. This app is great due to the fact you could increase your view to month-to-month targets and not feel awful if you slip up right here and there due to the fact you have made remarkable progress than you can imagine. On the other hand their challenges are just for people who like the opposite and I know that my friends enjoy them a lot

App Useful but billing mistake with no response from support
by CellistRockStar on 2021/04/08 21:45
I have now emailed support twice after I was double-charged for the subscription. There is no consistent subscription strategy when you first get the app, I can ended up get to the .49 for the first week. But I was still locked out of several things and I was really frustrated and confused so I deleted the app and cancelled the subscription. After a little bit I read the reviews and they seemed really good so I figured I should give it a chance. So I reinstalled the app. Even though i had already paid for a .49 subscription, I again got tons of subscription pop ups so I choose the option for 3-days-free then 30$/3months after, which in practice should mean 3-free days, then being charged foe the 3-months if I don’t cancel before the 3 days. However I was immediately charged the $30. I have emailed their support email twice (5-days ago and 3 days ago), giving them the chance to address this directly, and they haven’t responded at all.
Pay or nothing.
by Swisherswetha on 2021/04/08 20:37
Ads looked nice would have loved a cleaning schedule to try out this app! But upon download literally the home page only has challenges you click to start only to bring up a subscription window - you basically only have access to creating your own lists per day per hour etc. If I can make my own habit lists why would I be downloading an app called HabitBox? IMO bad business practice in general. If I don’t even know the app works for me why would I sink $10 a month? No free trial or no free challenges to motivate users.

by mschro3 on 2021/04/08 16:01
NOT AS ADVERTISED. Every little thing costs money, just to access it. I felt this app had more to offer from other productivity apps but it has less, unless you pay up. I’d rather test it out and see how it goes then have to pay right away which wasn’t an option.
Obvious Scam
by pvfssvg Feds CB hgcvb on 2021/04/08 11:25
Can we actually preview the app before being asked to pay for it? I downloaded this app and before I got to see what it’s like, I was prompted to pay. What kind of scam is this? It is clearly a trap. They want you to pay upfront before even being able to view or use the app because clearly they know you would not pay if you really knew what the app was like —I’m assuming it’s nothing like what’s advertised; basically trash. Then I decided to check out it reviews and they have confirmed it!! I won’t be biting. Delete. Delete.

Has potential
by MarqFields on 2021/04/03 12:43
This app has potential to be great but I’ve only had it for a few minutes and there are already issues that get in the way of functioning. 1. On the main challenge page, the cleaning is stuck, and you can’t scroll or click them. 2. Why isn’t there a page for accepted challenges? It’s difficult to navigate. 3. Make sure the app works if you’re offering all these discounts. I paid $20 in hopes that it would function well, and currently there are too many issues to be worth the money. I’d be happy to beta test or something because I definitely see the potential here. I’ll be sticking with it because I paid for it, and also in hopes that the issues are fixed.

Apparently the people who run the app like to scam people. Check out the reviews on Facebook and other social media profiles reviews to confirm. Paid for a year, never gained the access, and they will not answer an email. Won’t answer any other form of contact. They’ve been just taking people’s money and not providing what was purchased. Don’t do it.

Nice habits, poor delivery
by waybedalevafe on 2021/03/17 03:45
I love the habits that they offer to improve you as a person. Also the 30 day challenges and daily challenges were very interesting and I was looking forward to completing them. I signed up for several challenges and daily habits. I went to sleep looking forward to the next day to start my challenges and new habits. Here’s the bad part: the app doesn’t notify you at all through out the day so you can stick with the new habits and follow through on your challenges. There is no accountability. I wanted reminders throughout the day to take the thinking out of it and that way a new good habit would be formed. But it didn’t. The only thing it let me know at the end of the day was whether or not I competed the challenges.
What the pop up?
by cwhohoo on 2021/03/16 07:03
I’ve purchased the add but at each step there is an add pop up that I have to watch at the very least, half of before moving to the next step... where another add pops up. It is seriously becoming annoying and I’m not easily annoyed... It makes this app tedious and I feel that I will become less likely to use it (even after spending money on it) just so I don’t have to spend more time on the add then I am actually utilizing the app- it’s gross really.

I was shown an ad with a cleaning schedule and I downloaded the app thinking it looked cool. Was met with a $0.49 charge to even enter the app: DUMB. Whatever, I tried it. Maybe it’s a game changer and I’ll want to do the annual subscription. But, before I get to see the app, I’m met with an offer to pay $20 for the year. I almost did it, but with a minute to decide I wanted to see the dang app to begin. Thank goodness I did cause the app is nothing like the ad. I wouldnt recommend. Keep your 0.49 cents and don’t waste your time. To the dev and marketing teams: clean it up. Advertise the app in its current state, not some dreamworld that hasn’t been developed yet. Don’t let me buy the free trial for 0.49 cents and then tell me I need the full app to see certain areas. That’s poor business.

I selected the option to pay monthly but was charged the full yearly price so i figured i might as well start using this app i got to the app and everything i click on is trying to charge me again! Now that I’ve paid $40 for the year it’s still trying to charge me 9.99 a month. The app barely does anything. This app is a scam
Says it’s free to get, but it’s not free to use!
by BambiS78 on 2021/03/10 21:40
I got this app because I have ADHD and need help organizing my life. This app was suggested to me and when I saw it was free to download I was super excited! Until I started using it, it asks 2 questions then immediately says to use the app you have to pay a one time fee of $19.99. If it costs a one time fee of $19.99 to use, WHY NOT MAKE IT COST $20 to download! This is either a scam or bad business. 😡

I thought this was going to be something I liked and would use everyday. It wouldn’t let me get past the main screen without paying something first. After that it asked me for a lifetime warranty for TWENTY dollars. It’s originally FORTY so I went ahead and got it. Turns out this app is not customizable in the challenges, it ended up charging my card forty dollars instead of twenty and there’s no way for me to get that money back. Highly disappointed with this and the way they just took money and didn’t even give me the discount I was supposed to get.
Falsely Advertised
by chestermanche on 2021/03/10 16:34
Falsely advertised. I was shown some cleaning check list, and all these nice templates, downloaded the app and you have to subscribe in order to see what the app is really like...... total waste of money. Dumb “challenges”, not helpful in anyway. Your to-do list on your iPhone is 10x better than this app. I want my money back.
AWFUL DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I bought a lifetime membership because I saw an ad I liked and the reviews were good. WORST APP! There’s barely anything worth 30$ on here and the ads are so false from what it is! I WANT A REFUND!

I never write bad reviews but I just had to. Seriously... with all the ads nonstop it’s hard to even use the app. I couldn’t even get to the meat of the app. Just watching ads anytime I click on anything. Maybe this could have been a cool app- IF YOU LET ME SEE WHAT ITS EVEN ABOUT BEFORE SOLICITING TO BUY IN FULL OR SUBSCRIBE AND TELL ME TO WATCH AD AFTER AD. Also your downloads take forever
DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE ANYTHING!! STAY FAR AWAY
by Erin872406 on 2021/03/09 22:30
I came across a Facebook ad for this app recently because the ad showed this super detailed all inclusive checklist for cleaning. The ad said something like the last cleaning checklist you’ll ever need. So like an idiot I decided to take advantage of the “discounted” rate for lifetime subscription at 19.99. Then I go looking for the checklist that was advertised on fb and can’t find it anywhere. Not only do you have to pay a subscription fee to use the service if you wanna use any of the checklists you have to pay an additional 9.99. Which I also paid thinking maybe I would see more checklists after I paid. No, it doesn’t exist. I reached out to the app developers about getting a refund because their Facebook ad doesn’t match up with what their app actually offers they told me we don’t do refunds and that they do offer checklists. But at no point did they tell me where to find the one featured in the Facebook ad probably because it doesn’t exist! They said reach out to Apple to get a refund that way because they weren’t going to refund my money. I did put in a request through Apple for a refund since the digital good was not as advertised. STAY FAR AWAY.
Nothing works

I even paid for the subscription and this thing doesn’t allow me to do any of the challenges.
App States it’s Free To Use But It Isn’t
by Deinera nailo on 2021/03/09 07:14
When looking up the app it states it is free to use. But immediately when opening it and putting in a user name it asked you to pay $39.99. You can’t even try it out for a short time to see the features and if it would work for you. No way will I pay that much for an app that I can’t tell if it will be a good fit for me.

by CindyGirl419 on 2021/03/08 13:48
I liked the idea of a daily checklist of things to get done, particularly a cleaning list. However, the cleaning list is like Day 1 do the dishes, day 2 make the bed. That is so stupid. You need to do those things every day. Why are they not all on a daily checklist? That’s what I was hoping for.
Misleading
by keenie0320 on 2021/03/07 13:24
Definitely not what’s advertised. You pay for the lifetime access and they have other in app purchases. That’s annoying. On top of that it didn’t do what the advertisement says it does. I have a free app that does the same thing. Not worth the money. Requested a refund!
Misleading scam
by Stitchinwright on 2021/03/06 15:01
I downloaded this app because it appeared to be a habit tracker that would be extremely useful. $40 just to open the app. Ok not a huge deal, but it’s another $10-$20 to get the content for each tracker. Will be requesting a refund. Don’t waste your time!!!
Complete rip off!!
by idkmybffeva on 2021/03/06 14:44
Don’t fall for it! When I started my free trial, before I could even use the app they offered 50% off the one-time lifetime cost but you had to decide in one minute. So I agreed thinking I would still get the 3-day free trial before I committed. Once I got into the app it had like 7 items to choose from and one of them was on finance which I said I didn’t need. So I cancelled my subscription right away and within a minute I was charged $19.99 for the lifetime membership that I will never use. Don’t waste your time and money, seriously there are a ton of other good apps out there that have nothing to hide by allowing you to have full access of the app before you commit. This app knows it’s trash, that’s why it tricks you into paying before you use.
DO NOT PAY FOR THIS
by Megan.Reed. on 2021/03/06 01:59

I saw a weekly cleaning check list on TikTok that made it seem easy to use and helpful but it’s not at all what I was expecting. You have to pay for the app and to download check lists you have to pay additional fees. I might as well create my own I don’t need this app which I could get a refund!

I saw the add on Facebook and thought to myself omg this is exactly what I need. A schedule to help me clean and stay organized. Especially with 2 under 2. Well I download the app and assumed it was free and figured they would charge for premium service. Well as soon as I open the app they start marketing and I try the 3 day trial. (Btw I just downloaded the app like 15 minutes ago and I’m already canceling and uninstalling) and I can’t even enjoy the app or review it because everything requires me to pay. SMH. How do I know if I want to pay for something that I can’t even try.
DO NOT BUY THIS SCAMMY APP 🚨
by piperrrr214 on 2021/03/04 01:49
Saw an ad for this and thought it looked like it would be super helpful. Downloaded it and realized that you have to pay to even access the app. Whatever, did that. Then before even showing you the app it gives an option to buy the app for lifetime for $19.99. I was feeling optimistic and decided to do this. Don’t make my mistake. This is the worst $20 I’ve ever spent. I was most interested in it because of the checklists, these were literally why I downloaded the app. Turns outtttt, AFTER buying the app for $20 you then also have to pay for the checklists! As for the “challenges” that are available with the lifetime membership at least... there’s maybe about 20-25 that are available. All are highly specific and things I personally don’t need guidance on achieving. The steps in each challenge are even more specific and seemingly unrealistic. Like I previously said, don’t make the mistake I did in buying this app. I don’t normally leave reviews for something like this, but if writing a review could stop someone else from making the same regretful purchase, it’ll worth it.
Sounds good in theory....
by MelJ0819 on 2021/03/03 23:13
I thought this app sounded absolutely amazing. I downloaded it and was excited to start the 3 day trial. It said that, after 3 days I would be billed $40-ish for the rest of the year. Not a bad price. BUT once I started it prompted me to pay $9.99/mo for full access and there’s a pop up every time I click on something asking if I want them to remind me when my 3 day trial is up. That’s a cool feature (the reminder) but I can’t tap on anything on the app without it popping up. And, $40/year PLUS $9.99/mo? Nooooo, that’s crazy. I can’t even use it right now.
Charged me after asking to cancel. 🤬
by Emmalie b on 2021/03/03 01:44
I signed up for the free, three day trial and within the first hour after signing up realized I did not like the app. I sent three emails asking to cancel that night and one the following day. Well, here we are on day four or five and I’ve been charged $39.99. This is absolutely absurd and needs to be fixed immediately.

I have emailed their support email twice (5-days ago and 3 days ago), giving them the chance to address this directly, and they haven’t responded at all.

the reviews tend to show to 5 star reviews first so that’s why I gave it 5 stars. don’t download this app.

I don’t know how to use this app can someone please help me!
Not as advertised.
by Appreciative.user on 2021/03/12 01:42
I was shown an ad with a cleaning schedule and I downloaded the app thinking it looked cool.
Do not download
by ekp0717 on 2021/01/06 17:17
I never write reviews. But this app is awful to say the least. It is just a scam. They post ads on Facebook showing how great it is. They have extremely limited content. And to even look at the content you have to pay! I bought the lifetime membership for $40 and then immediately it showed me a pop up for half off. Thinking that it would only show me that because I wasn’t going to buy, I agreed. It charged me an addition $20. So I paid $60 for an app I never even saw. Once I get into the content, there is nothing. And the “habits” aren’t even worth your time. Luckily I have been issued a refund and deleted the app. You are better off doing something else or finding inspiration off Pinterest because this app is worthless.
Don’t do it
by TheGFamily12345 on 2021/02/22 20:15
.49 just to check it out but still have no access to things and then a weekly, monthly or lifetime subscription. Not anything like the ad on Facebook. I went into the app by paying .49 and immediately knew it was different than advertised - they also rip you off by saying pay $40 for a lifetime subscription and then offer it for $20 afterwards (supposedly even if you pay the $40). All I know is this seems like a scam. Someone is really good at marketing. I canceled thru Apple ID and will be reporting them through the App Store. After reading other reviews I will be watching to ensure they don’t take more of my money as it looks like others have canceled and still been charged.
Double charge?
by Kitialynne on 2020/12/26 06:23
I downloaded this app hoping it’d help me keep track of things like a book list to read or movies to watch like advertised. I went to purchase the lifetime membership before I could fully understand what was even apart or offered with this app (my mistake) and as I was finishing up with the purchase of the lifetime membership, a popup came up for a half price. Thinking it would cancel out the other, I went for it. Now I need to figure out how to get something back because I’ve been charged twice for the same purchase. I am not happy with with this product or being charged twice.
Not even good as a task manager
by Kelley679 on 2020/12/23 10:00
I have to believe the people that developed this App were good at Marketing but not so strong on the organizational or technical front. As others have said, the ads are misleading to the strength of being able to schedule your own habits + create a resolution with a strong schedule of tasks. If you choose one of their preprogrammed schedules, it works. If you try to create one of your own, not only is the UI not friendly to this, buttons to create tasks just do not work. Meaning you can’t even use work arounds to use as a low grade task manager. Outlook is actually more user friendly :|

I LOVE this app. As a person who prefers keeping everything in one organized and accessible place, this is my GO-TO on a daily! I also love the different challenges and often use them to create my new daily routine. I also have a great digital planner here. It's extremely reasonably priced too!
Not what you think 👎🏼
by A garey on 2020/12/30 04:49
First off, the ad that introduced this app to me made it seem like it was customizable to personality trait. I assumed they would at least outline the personality types OR even note which habits lend themselves to those types. Second, it’s .49 to even access the app. Ok whatever I’ll try it for that. But then you don’t even get full access?! How do I even know if I want an annual subscription without knowing the apps functions. Third, maybe develop the app a little future. I’ve never seen a habit app have so few helpful choices.
Ad is misleading
by BangtanGirlScout on 2020/12/25 21:32
Like a lot of other people, I saw the ad on FB and saw all of the 30 day challenges and thought it looked really cool. The ad is nothing like the actual app. The actual app is not worth the $40 I paid for the lifetime membership (which was my own fault for not just trying it first). It’s basically the same as any free habit tracker app but with a few 7-10 day challenges that all appear to basically be the same ideas (wake up early, meditate, etc). Wouldn’t be a bad app if it was only a few bucks and advertised correctly.

This app was awful! You can't even preview it before you buy it. I was against buying something I couldn't try. Then it offered me the half off deal like other people mentioned. So I said whatever I'll try it. I purchased it and it was NOTHING like the Facebook ad showed. They give you maybe 50 habits to break but the items in the "habit" don't even help you break the bad habit, or develop a new one. For example the 21 day cleaning challenge "day 1, clean sink, take a picture." "Day 2...., take a picture" the only habit I'm developing is using my phone more!"

The options I wanted may be available after paying even more but I’m so annoyed that I am unwilling to look further or invest more.

I came to this app from the incredible advertisements that I have seen on Facebook and Instagram because of the amazing customizable features and how it “fits to your routine” ... it costs $40 to even SEE the content of the app. Not only did I pay that, I was immediately offered 50% off AFTER purchasing the regular premium rate. I attempted contacting customer service for the app- it does not exist. Infuriated, I tried to request a refund TWICE from Apple and was denied. This app is a scam and they just want your money. DO NOT buy the lifetime access, complete waste of $40.
Will Still Charge You Even If You Pay The One Time Fee
by Kae... on 2021/01/20 19:47
I paid the “lifetime” payment and it went through but my subscription says weekly for 7.99 still. I emailed their help email regarding the issues and never got a response. They charged me for two weeks on top of the lifetime payment I made in the first place. Honestly you can set up a system like this on your own and curated to you by making reminders in your main reminders app on your phone and setting durations that you want. Don’t get swindled over a basic app 🤷🏻‍♀️
Delete. Delete.

Frustrating.
by ashcmay on 2021/01/05 23:59
I downloaded to see if this was something I would be interested in using, and it would not let me use it without paying. I decided why not, and tried it out. It was too simplistic for my needs, and I felt like it wasn’t worth my time. Now, here is where the frustration comes in. There is no way to cancel your subscription to their services within the app or in the AppStore. I have emailed their support line to see if I can get a refund, so we will see how things work out in the long run.

Zero stars
by Bambieblondebabe on 2021/04/18 20:13
So I get that some apps are paid apps.
Glitchy and you have to pay to even use it
by Goopeople on 2020/12/28 10:54
I tried to set reminders on habits but I couldn’t scroll down to set the time on the habit without the dismiss button being in the way. I was also forced to pay 0.49 cents to use it, when I’m immediately uninstalling it. Garbage garbage garbage. They make the ad look really good because spending a few hundred on that to draw in a million people paying 0.49 is still financially a win for them, even if the app doesn’t work.

Brilliant app, I use it to organize home life on my iPhone and it’s just as good as for work; instinctive, powerful and I can already see the benefits to my productivity one week in.
I’d give this zero stars if I could.
by ash o 92 on 2021/03/14 20:54
I saw an ad for this app and thought it looked interesting, so I downloaded it. However you can’t even get into the app without purchasing a membership. How in the world would I know if I want a membership without even being able to explore the app. I deleted the app off my phone, maybe if they give the option to explore the app, I’ll revisit-until then don’t waste your time!
Not something I would esp. use for the price
by Jackster11113 on 2021/02/27 15:11
I bought a full year access to this and once I got in to see what it was I was VERY disappointed. In Two weeks to a better you challenge the to dos are “take refular breaks” (that’s not a typo... that’s how it is in the app) and “create deadlines” and “quit multitasking “. Minimalism challenge. Day 1 Purge your wardrobe. (That’s often a weeklong task!) Day 2 Read a book. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I wrote them asking for a refund.
They’ll take your money. Good luck actually getting to use the app.
by Me.Profection on 2021/03/29 11:26
Apparently the people who run the app like to scam people. Check out the reviews on Facebook and other social media profiles reviews to confirm. Paid for a year, never gained the access, and they will not answer an email. Won’t answer any other form of contact. They’ve been just taking people’s money and not providing what was purchased. Don’t do it.

Scam of money
by boymommy1997 on 2021/02/22 12:27
Total trash scam! It said 50% of so total would have been $19 instead they charged $42!!!!! Not worth it totally upset doesn’t do anything different than what Apple reminders do for free! Unless you buy the over priced PDFs you can also find for FREEE! I am not one to complain I was so disappointed I spent $20 bucks then I checked my bank account and in fact it wasn’t JUST $20.... 0 stars in my opinion.
APP IS ONLY FREE TO DOWNLOAD!
by Maybelle96 on 2021/02/27 08:29
Downloaded it to help with daily cleaning schedule and you can’t even use one of the daily task subjects unless you pay for the subscription! It’s ridiculous!! How could you expect someone to pay to use the app without having some features be free to see if people actually like it? What if someone buys it and ends up hating something about it? That’s their money down the drain.
Read What Others Have Said - Don’t Buy It!
by hibookwor on 2020/12/26 04:29
I will be requesting my money back. False advertising. I got suckered in by the “discount” and the ads...After I purchased it, I realized how lame it really is. So many better free options out there like Fabulous or Moodlinks. Then I noticed the positive reviews are fake! Identical reviews with two different usernames. Last time I trust an IG ad. Bummer. Don’t think it will be different for you 😉
Disappointing - lacking list - money hungry app
by AshleyLK on 2021/04/27 02:59
Honestly, it’s like they took lists from Pinterest and added it to a calendar. For $20 I’m really disappointed. Plus they want you to pay additional money to unlock further features despite boasting a lifetime membership for $20. Rip off. I can just make the same thing in Notes and my calendar. Additionally, there are hardly any habit lists.
This is horrible
by copper.head on 2021/04/05 04:26
They made this app to get money without actually helping anyone. There is no customization and everything costs money. You open the app to a few and then they charge you again to even use it and you don’t get access to everything unless you pay even more fees. Just save your time and money and don’t even try it
Nothing like the Facebook ad
by Efn2012 on 2020/12/10 06:30
This is nothing like what you’ll see in the Facebook ad. It’s a cool app to track stuff but expensive for something to make lists on. 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you’re looking for challenges hit up Netflix and set your own events on your phone

by BabyBritt710 on 2021/03/29 17:00

I selected the option to pay monthly but was charged the full yearly price so i figured i might as well start using this app i got to the app and everything i click on is trying to charge me again! Now that I’ve paid $40 for the year it’s still trying to charge me 9.99 a month. The app barely does anything. This app is a scam

I paid for the year and the app doesn’t even work.

by calizco on 2021/04/27 13:06
I was very curious about this app.
I’m very angry but these people don’t respond when you tell them about this. i’m contacting apple directly and my bank. be careful and don’t download rhi’s app it’s a SCAM.

by Yeyi001 on 2021/04/25 19:02
Can’t do anything unless you pay monthly, it’s ridiculous for a simple reminder.
The options I wanted may be available after paying even more but I’m so annoyed that I am unwilling to look further or invest more.

by Fiveofus on 2021/04/21 13:55
I couldn’t even open it without getting upgrade screens to pay.

Money wall!

There is a money wall that makes you subscribe to even know what features you are buying 😂 super money grab and doubt they have as many features as anydo

Delete. Delete.

So difficult to find contact information for Habitbox. I paid the $0.49 trial to test drive. Still wants $9.99 for each challenge I click on. I feel like you scammed me. Wasn't clear when signing up. Usuay when you pay for premium access you get premium access. Someone contact me!

by copper.head on 2021/04/05 04:26
They made this app to get money without actually helping anyone. There is no customization and everything costs money. You open the app to a few and then they charge you again to even use it and you don’t get access to everything unless you pay even more fees. Just save your time and money and don’t even try it
Not worth it

I decided to give it a try for a month 9.99 and then it popped up saying that it would only be 20.00 for a year but they went ahead and charged me 30.00. Total scam don’t waist your money also the ad was extremely misleading not at all but it seems!

by BabyBritt710 on 2021/03/29 17:00
I got the app to try out, I actually do like it but I think it’s a rip off for what it offers. I went ahead and bought it on a trial 30 days lol. I hope they add more !!!! If they don’t I’m canceling & deleting.

I deleted the app off my phone, maybe if they give the option to explore the app, I’ll revisit-until then don’t waste your time!

by cdfurg on 2021/03/12 08:40

Not as advertised.
by Appreciative.user on 2021/03/12 01:42
I was shown an ad with a cleaning schedule and I downloaded the app thinking it looked cool.
Super angry.

Overcharged and app not working
by Darbydolly on 2021/03/11 10:13
I selected the option to pay monthly but was charged the full yearly price so i figured i might as well start using this app i got to the app and everything i click on is trying to charge me again!
Terrible/Scam
by hannahlenelle on 2021/03/10 19:47
I thought this was going to be something I liked and would use everyday.

Not as advertised.
by Appreciative.user on 2021/03/12 01:42
I was shown an ad with a cleaning schedule and I downloaded the app thinking it looked cool.
Don’t do it
by TheGFamily12345 on 2021/02/22 20:15
.49 just to check it out but still have no access to things and then a weekly, monthly or lifetime subscription.

Scam!!
by steph2rey95 on 2021/03/04 09:39
I saw the add on Facebook and thought to myself omg this is exactly what I need.
Clickbait
by Fiveofus on 2021/04/21 13:55
I couldn’t even open it without getting upgrade screens to pay.
Not what you see
by Ashleyj0yyy on 2021/02/21 16:05
This app was awful!
Terrible/Scam
by hannahlenelle on 2021/03/10 19:47
I thought this was going to be something I liked and would use everyday.
Click Bait
by Aunt Scary on 2021/04/23 12:10
The ad seemed to show many many lists of options for habits and goals from the serious time management to lists of movies seen.
This app is a scam
by JessMarie93 on 2021/02/15 20:38
I came to this app from the incredible advertisements that I have seen on Facebook and Instagram because of the amazing customizable features and how it “fits to your routine” ... it costs $40 to even SEE the content of the app.
Delete.

I love you guys
by _bruce91 on 2021/04/15 07:33
I’ve tried to form a running habit for many years now but now I got HabitBox and my life completely changed. Thank you so much for the app you are making! Please add more challenges. The ones you have are awesome<3
Zero stars
by Bambieblondebabe on 2021/04/18 20:13
So I get that some apps are paid apps.
What the pop up?
by cwhohoo on 2021/03/16 07:03
I’ve purchased the add but at each step there is an add pop up that I have to watch at the very least, half of before moving to the next step... where another add pops up. It is seriously becoming annoying and I’m not easily annoyed... It makes this app tedious and I feel that I will become less likely to use it (even after spending money on it) just so I don’t have to spend more time on the add then I am actually utilizing the app- it’s gross really.

by mr.dengi03 on 2020/12/19 23:11
Brilliant app, I use it to organize home life on my iPhone and it’s just as good as for work; instinctive, powerful and I can already see the benefits to my productivity one week in.
App needs more if they’re going to charge
by BabyBritt710 on 2021/03/29 17:00
I got the app to try out, I actually do like it but I think it’s a rip off for what it offers. I went ahead and bought it on a trial 30 days lol. I hope they add more !!!! If they don’t I’m canceling & deleting.
Overcharged and app not working
by Darbydolly on 2021/03/11 10:13
I selected the option to pay monthly but was charged the full yearly price so i figured i might as well start using this app i got to the app and everything i click on is trying to charge me again! Now that I’ve paid $40 for the year it’s still trying to charge me 9.99 a month. The app barely does anything. This app is a scam
