Scaaan. is a mobile scanner app that will turn your iPhone into a powerful mobile scanner. Simple use, accurate scans, easy editing and sharing.
You can scan anything you need: contracts, books, to-do lists, paper notes, fax papers, receipts, ID cards and store your scans as high quality PDF or JPEG files.
All scanned documents are stored locally on your device and inaccessible to us and to any third-party.
SCAN. Using only your iPhone camera you can easily scan, save and print any document including:
- Contracts, Invoices, Bills, Tax Rolls, Business Cards, Letters
- To-do lists, Paper Notes, Whiteboards, Mindmaps, Receipts
- Book Pages, Articles
- ID cards, Credentials, Certificates
- Texts and documents that don't offer a digital copy;
CONVERT. Easily turn an image to editable text format with the OCR function. Extract text from a scanned document and then edit it as you wish.
Languages supported for text recognition: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Hebrew.
SAVE. You can save documents in high quality as PDF, JPEG or DOC.
SIGN. E-sign any docs by simply adding your signature to electronic documents with just a few taps.
SHARE. Easily share documents with others via social media, messengers or email attachment. Upload scans to cloud services like Dropbox or Google Drive or simply print it via any WI-FI printer.

Information about the auto-renewal of unlimited access subscription:
– You can subscribe for unlimited access to all features within the app

My favorite scanner app!

Scaaan app has many great functions for which I would really recommend using it. The one function I used the most is the possibility to edit pretty much any type of document. For instance I work a lot and write a number of notes and ideas. With this app I can easily scan them to my phone, edit, share and save them as one document, very comfortably and easily. Another great thing is scanning an id card to my phone that I can add to legal documents or just share them quickly as a jpeg or different type of document. So if I am opening any type of account that requires documents like this or signature, I can easily do all of it in the scanner app. It also runs really smoothly and has a user-friendly interface, which is something I really appreciate. I think it’s a must, you never know when you’ll need to deal with any type of document and this app will help you instantly. So in general it works well, makes clear PDFs, has a lot of adjustments and features. Lifetime purchase definitely worth the money. Has changed the way I scan and email document. Love it!

So thankful for this app 🙌🏻 because I usually travel a lot and when something pops in my email, I often immediately need to edit the document, sign invoice or scan it for further use, so this app is a saviour. I’ve been using it for a while now and haven’t found any problem. It’s really safe to use (as developer said, all documents are stored on my device, not on someones server 👀), all the documents are in one place and I don’t need to look for them to edit them again. Interface could be more appealing, but I’m okay with it, after all it’s an app with a long history and a lot of reviews 👍🏻. What’s great about this scanner is that I can easily work with any kind of document and convert handwritten notes or images into text (thanks to the convert function). What I usually do is that I edit document into the app for example by cropping the head, adding contrast, change color or else and I think this app is really wonderful at handling all of it. The documents are scanned in really high quality and can be in pdf or jpeg.

I’ve found the Scaaan to be exactly what I was looking for. Finding a way to digitally sign and scan documents has always been a hassle for me, cause other mobile scanners turned out to be not so perfect, as ads said. I was looking for something when I ran into this app and I could not be happier. It does exactly what I need it to do. You can easily scan docs in the app and work with them further, for example scan it to pdf or convert them into txt. It has all types of file that you need, everything is available. Sharing the documents from within the app has also proven to be easy with the share function and its many selections. I’m using it on the last iPhone and everything works smoothly. All the documents are in one place too, so it’s extremely simple when you have a lot of paperwork to do. I chose the subscription so I can edit even with more tools, but as I understood, you can use the app whether you choose subscription or not. Highly recommend this app for anyone who needs to always work with documents on a go! Easy to use, great interface and more importantly, it’s really friendly.

When I selected my subscription it says Full Access (1 week) NOT $9.99 BILLED WEEKLY. Then you can’t cancel from the app itself, you go to Apple Subscriptions and there is NO CANCLE SUBSCRIPTION button only a RESUBSCRIBE option for a DIFFERENT PLAN, it’s like you are locked in. They probably get an extra payment or two out of people before they notice and find a way to cancel (I’m still searching, reached out to Apple.) So they get A LOT OF FREE MONEY. The app itself worked decent, but the one star is for it feeling like you’ve been tricked & trapped and also a little scammy. (Typed fast, please excuse any typos)
