Completely Unfair
by AgentEvan on 2020/10/24 15:58
Yes, this is phase 10 and it holds up to the original card game, but the issue with this game is that’s it’s computers that you play. Since it’s computers, you quickly realize that they can have stupidly unfair luck, and then you’ll never get the cards you want. They can get a run of eight within two turns but then you can’t get a set of three within ten turns. The computers also aim most of their skips at you for seemingly no reason. You’ll be on phase 2 and finish it, and someone on phase 5 will skip you even though someone on phase 7 has finished. One more thing, all of the strategy has been taken out. In the card game, you’ll have to pay attention to what others pick up to know what not to put down, in this one, you can’t do that because the computers will pick up completely random cards. They’ll pick up a blue six, but then they’ll immediately put down that blue six, what the heck?! If you consider getting this game, please remember that the computers are broken and unfair and you’ll have to be unbelievably lucky to win, at least this game is free though.
This game seems rigged.
by sissygurl8914 on 2020/10/24 15:45
I love to play this card game, so I tried this app one. At first it was fun at first but as you get higher in the levels, the game starts to become unfair and the computers start to win instantly. I find it very annoying and tiring of having to restart the same level over 5 or more times. Also this is supposed to be a fun game but it just causes headache because you can’t win.
Fun then not
by Tigxan13 on 2020/10/24 15:17
I loved this game in the beginning and then it just is frustrating. I tend to go back to it after a while of taking a break. You play against the computer and you may win a hand or 2, but that’s it. You can’t advance at all beyond a couple of games a round. It’s just not fun at all. If you had a chance to beat a level at all then maybe I would have kept the app, but I gave up and deleted it today. Not going back!!
Unfairly difficult
by bohemianbrina92 on 2020/10/24 14:56
This app is much harder to win at than a typical Phase 10 game. It seems as though some levels can only be won if you buy skips and wilds for real-world currency. Each hand requires 5 energy to play, and energy regenerates by 1 every 5 minutes. This is helpful if you’re trying to limit how much time you spend on the app but makes playing a little frustrating. I had high hopes for this game as my family and I love playing Phase 10 with traditional cards. I was disappointed and will be uninstalling.
Racket!
by kttrophy on 2020/10/24 14:34
Don’t waste your time on any of these games that say you will get money. Once you are 1 to 2 points in collecting, they freeze the game or give you 0 points. This is a waste of your time and I would not attempt it. I did it just to see if they do pay and they don’t. I had three games going on and it takes weeks to get to the total to win. They pay you .02 for each point. All three games have stopped me from collecting. This should all be illegal and I will file a complaint. They want you to hit the other games to play. Pay attention people. If you enjoy the games, that is one thing but don’t think for a minute you will get any money.
So frustrating
by Brandi8585 on 2020/10/24 13:51
Computer always wins, most of the time you don’t even get a chance to draw a card. 👎🏼👎🏼

Run out of Energy, FAST
by grayson&aidansmom on 2020/10/24 10:04
I do NOT like how you only have a certain amount of energy so you can only play a certain amount of games at a time. And some levels are way too hard without having to “buy a quick pack” for extra benefits. I really miss when games were for fun and not for someone to penny people to death. I liked it at first, but now I don’t like it much at all. I got this game to play Phase 10 without having to wait for a group of friends... but I still find myself in the waiting. Lame. This game is NOT GOOD. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Fun at first
by Muffinguts on 2020/10/23 16:01
This game was soooo fun at first. I finished the first journey and about half way through the second i got to a level where the AI is programmed to win at all cost. I played the same level for a week and was never able to pass it because most of the time the AI are delt exactly what they need to pass the phase on their first turn. Deleting the app.
Computer rigged
by KrysmissKandy on 2020/10/23 15:45
It’s obvious the games are rigged the further along in the game you get. I don’t play with money. Just for fun and when the computer gets 4 skips in a row and then goes out with the exact hand they need or 4 wild cards just as you were about to go out it’s obviously rigged to win. Also every time you decided to throw a card, you then draw( or the computer players all discard) the same thing. It’s ridiculously one sided and not randomly generated. Also the computer knows your hand. Which is unfair. Make it more fair like a real card game. This isn’t worth playing more than a couple rounds.

This game cheat so bad, lost more than 5 hands before it was even my turn. I don’t write reviews, but this is horrible.
Kinda lame
by Rosco Love on 2020/10/23 05:47
It was fun to play but i hate that you cant play against the person sitting next to you. Instead of pulling out the regular cards
Annoying
by RudaRu2 on 2020/10/23 02:52
Too much animation. I don’t need to see bouncy cards to tell me it’s my turn. My chest already hurts from the annoying tutorial. Short turns and more animation. I don’t have patience for this. Was hoping it was like the original game. Not a keeper for me.
Believe the reviews. It’s rigged.
by Kiana66 on 2020/10/23 02:03
The game begins with an extremely long tutorial that you cannot skip. The Bot competitors always seems to have wild cards or the exact cards they need to complete a phase while you can’t seem to catch a break....10 games in a row. Coins are pointless. They can (essentially) only buy you more coins. The game is ultra sensitive to mistake the move you interested for something else. At least 10 times I have tried to complete a phase only to “accidentally” have the card added to the output deck. EVEN WILD CARDS. The videos that you supposedly can watch for more pointless coin don’t work half the time. They are clearly trying to get you to spend money.
This game is awesome

I like this game because if your bored play this game also it is literally like the real phase ten game
Don’t bother
by nativetarbell on 2020/10/22 22:54
This game is a joke. You only win when it wants you to win. You play against the computer generated people and all they do is skip you and go out. Worst app that I have ever played. No thank you.
Maybe you should listen to the reviews
by Evnscncefollower on 2020/10/22 21:33
It takes 5 energy to start a level and then 5 more energy for each round of the level, win or lose, and energy only refills 1 per 5 minutes. LOL, ya’ll got jokes. Uninstall.
I love but...

Meh
by JE1817 on 2020/10/22 17:24
It started as a fun game but it only will let you collect chests and what not with a Facebook connected which I do not have. Then it became painfully obvious the computer almost always starts with the right cards
No multiplayer with friends.
by Supergumdrop11 on 2020/10/22 17:24
Me and my siblings downloaded in order to play together. However that is not an option. The advertisement is very misleading. Please make these changes soon.
Fun in the beginning
by Megs010011 on 2020/10/22 16:47
The first couple of days were fun, then you realize you never win due to the heavy AI. It get ridiculously hard to play and you spend all your “energy” repeating the same levels due to the AI going out on the first turn usually with an abundance of wild cards. I do not recommend this game.

They Cheat
by CelMS on 2020/10/22 11:51
The developers favorite response is the cards are dealt randomly.. Not True Bottom line if you like card games that are 3 against one and completely based around spending money to win.. this is your game The computer has the upper hand every time and the prices for things if you choose to buy are outrageous... so disappointed
Fun if you don’t mind kissing constantly.
by haiehwbrkdj on 2020/10/22 10:49
At first it was really fun however once you progress thru the first land in the journey it rapidly switched to annoying! Each hand costs 5 energies and it takes 5 min to earn 1 energy. The first 3 hands I didn’t even get to play bc someone else (which is the computer NOT another person!) would win before my turn. The next round I was up first and got to play once before someone else would go out. This happened like this for at least 20 hands... that is 100 energies... so 500 mins so 8 hrs. Of energy to replace but oh wait the highest it allows you to hold energy is 50 at a time. So I decided to play against other people and I kept getting horrible cards and losing. So I had a theory if I spent money I would get better cards. So I spent $10 to test out my theory and suddenly got half decent cards. But as soon as the items I spent actual money on was gone I went back to horrible hands and losing before I was even able to have a turn! So unless you plan on spending a lot of money don’t waste your time on this! Also they have an options to watch a video for things like energy or etc as most games do and about 80% you watch a video you don’t get your reward!

by fred'ssteak on 2020/10/22 06:42
Hard to enjoy the game when the generated opponent magically gets the cards they need after the first deal. Over and over again... Oh and how does this app have almost 5 stars when most of the reviews are bad? Hmmmmmm
Disappointed
by Shouldcookmore on 2020/10/22 05:08
I wanted to like this game and I played for a while... the hands are so short about 50% of the time I didn’t even get to play before the round is over. In the vs. computer, they have it programmed for the computer to win the majority of the time after about level 15... to slow you down maybe. The multiplayer is a bit better, but way, way too many skip cards. Several skip cards are played per round, more than a normal deck would even have. Games are supposed to be fun, this one was just sad and disappointing.

Be realistic
by usnavycop on 2020/10/22 02:23
This game was great at the beginning, for about, oh, 2 weeks. Then the algorithm tightened up and you cant win a game for about a week, if you play everyday. The computer players always have the right cards, never draw something that they do not need. then you lose. They are doing this to get you to buy more, and more energy. It’s ridiculous. DO NOT DOWNLOAD if you plan on wanting to advance. When they have special events, like the Halloween one currently happening, don't play, because you will not win.
Bonus video cards

by Cuddlebabe on 2020/10/21 23:14
Fun at first but after a while you start to notice some things..I’ve given this game multiple chances because I really wanted to like it but I end up getting too frustrated because it’s almost impossible to beat a level. It’s not cool when you get dealt a sucky hand and not one, not two, but ALL the “players” 9 times out of 10 have a wild card and end up winning before you’ve had a chance to sort your cards. The “players” can skip you more than once in a single game, not like the actual card game where you can only skip one person per game. Also, I’ve been skipped at starting a game MULTIPLE times. Very frustrating when you don’t get to start a game when you know it’s your turn. I understand it’s a strategic game and you have to lose some in order to win some, but it’s HIGHLY unfair and very biased in letting the computers win.
Don’t waste your time
by tyreeanna on 2020/10/21 22:50
This game is terribly irritating. Instead of enjoying the game I have been cussing these fake people out. You win some you lose some but in the end someone is going to lose an eye....phone! So don’t waste your time with this one, keep scrolling.
horrible
by SydneeShea on 2020/10/21 19:19
Fun at first but now it’s so rigged it isn’t even funny. Would give 0 stars if I could. It’s so frustrating to only need one more card and somehow the computer generated player has 4 wild cards lol. Deleted
EDITED—Disappointed
by 5ashp91 on 2020/10/21 16:50
ETA: I hate this app so much that I periodically check back at the reviews to read how much other people hate it, too. It’s therapeutic lol. This is the worst game I’ve ever played in my life. I have never been so frustrated by an app. To the developers: if you’re going to give another “tHe CaRdS aRe dEaLt RaNdOmLy” or “aLl PlAyErS aRe ReGaRdEd ThE sAmE” response, don’t even bother. It’s honestly insulting. I by no means expect to win every hand, but when I’m skipped 3 times in a row for 5 hands in row while every other player magically has the cards they need in the first turn for every single phase, it’s obvious that there’s a problem. Y’all need to be taken by the geese for your ridiculous responses. All of these people are not wrong. Your game is the problem. I have loved phase 10 since I was a kid, so I was super excited to find this app. Unfortunately, it’s very frustrating bc the bots almost always have all the cards for their phase in the first turn or two, meaning you hardly even get to play. You use 5 “lives” to play one single round, and more often than not, you don’t even get to play that round bc the bots phase out immediately. Also, y’all are delusional if y’all think I’m about to pay actual currency for a handful of lives that are useless bc of the way the game is set up. Y’all would be better off charging one time for the app
Totally have to pay for play
by 2gurls on 2020/10/21 16:00
Cant earn lightning... ever... so far no gems, very few coins. Seems you have to pay to play and I think that stinks....
Fun-ish
by breautrey13 on 2020/10/21 15:56
I read a few reviews and agree with what they all say. It is fun at first but it does feel like it gets impossible to win like the game is rigged for the computer players to win. I also just bought more energy with diamonds, 300 diamonds for 50 energy. After the first game (5 energy for each game) I noticed that the energy and depleted by 8 or 9 to 42/41. Then after the second game my energy level should be down to 40 now but the energy depleted to 27?! I only got to play four games before my energy was down to 3 not 30, very glitchy.
Extremely frustrating!
by KMunise on 2020/10/21 11:39
This game is seriously one of the most frustrating games I have ever played. The “hard” levels are near impossible to complete. The game is definitely rigged. Every time I’m about to win, I get skipped 3 times and magically the computer players have exactly what they need to complete the phase. It’s not “hard,” it’s completely unfair.
Would be fun without energy mechanic
by dupliciaa on 2020/10/21 02:22
The game is good and challenging. I could play it for hours if it weren’t for the need for “energy.” its just another micro transaction so the developers can get more money, but it ruins the experience. i could be in the middle of a level and have to stop because i don’t have enough energy. it’s annoying. i just want to play phase 10 uninterrupted.
Phase gone bad
by crazi85 on 2020/10/21 02:02
Computer will always win, computer always has the right cards on the first deal, that needs to be fixed! It’s annoying when the computer can’t even give you a chance....
Horrible
by Teleportation Ender on 2020/10/21 01:11
This game was fun at first but at one point if lost it. The opponent always finished their phases in the first two rounds. It was no fun because I never got my turn. After constantly losing I used all my energy replaying m the same level ten times. So I had to was a few minutes so I can lose ten more times. Make it more fair and I don’t have to use power ups to win.

Fun game but total money grab
by rachelelphick2 on 2020/10/20 23:42
I grew up playing this game with my family and loved it. This game on its own is fun, but you can tell it’s a total money grab. Everything is focused around you buying energy, coins, or diamonds. Even when I watch the ads for free things, it takes me out of the ad, but I don’t get energy or wild cards like I was promised for watching the ad. Very frustrating.
Often not given a chance to play. Bad settings.
by Blind iuser on 2020/10/20 22:09
This game started out terrific. It was very similar to the one I played with my friends in college when we played phase 10. I got into it and started enjoying it but then it started adding more players. You are not allowed to choose whether or not you go up against multiple players and you don’t get to have some time to practice with just the computer. So before long I kept getting into a game only to be denied a chance to play more than one move. I wasn’t even able to finish the hand much less try to win or lose against the competitors. Four or five times in a row the game was over before I even got to play. I’m very disappointed in this and I want people to know that this is not something you want to get into for relaxation. It is very frustrating even when you think you are good at the rules. We should be allowed to choose how many players we are willing to face and whether or not they are live players in another part of the world or the computer.
Rigged. Definitely
by Ahajdbdh on 2020/10/20 20:12
If I could give this game no stars I would. The game is totally rigged. When you play the journey and you’re playing against the bots. The bots always have like two or three wild cars in their hand and then on top of that they finish a phase in like twenty seconds. Even when I’m winning the first two phases the bot magically wins the phases likes it nothing. When you play online you rarely win and that pushes you towards to buy some coins or watching an ad for the coins. Most of the time the ad doesn’t even work for me to get my free coins. Edit: I gave this game another chance and it’s definitely rigged nothing changed. The developers keep saying that the cards are dealt at random and I can tell it’s not. The bots get two to three wild cards every time I play and not only that, but I would have to pull from the deck like fifteen times before I can even get a card I need. Don’t waste your time or money on this game. It is rigged and a waste of time.
Fun for a while but....
by tercars57 on 2020/10/20 19:48
This is a fun games but then the computer takes all the fun out of it. Never win, never get the luck of the draw and both computer players gain up on you.
Phase 10
by gmaspbsi09 on 2020/10/20 19:32
I am so disappointed. I love playing the actual card game, but this one always favors the opponents. I am constantly dealt impossible to win hands while the opponents are often dealt immediate winning hands. This has gone on for innumerable games, so it’s not just once in a while. It’s very frustrating.
Why are there ads BETWEEN parts of the same level?
by CJ&Bj on 2020/10/20 16:44
Fun game, nice gameplay... but suddenly, ads - not between levels, which might be tolerable, but between every. single. part. of each level. If you've just got a few minutes a day to escape, spending half of it letting ads play just so you can finish one game? No. Don't know why this changed, but no.
Gets you hooked but it cheats
by U r s Payne on 2020/10/20 14:06
We play Phase 10 at home and I enjoyed the variation of the game but when I let my niece play it on my phone I lost the ability to get back to my games. Also, I would be placing a card for a phase into the phase box and it moves it to the discard pile. Secondly, I place a skip card directly on an opponent and it doesn’t skip them. Tutorial could be improved, I learned by accident about the rewards of earning stars. So if you want to play to learn some variety of phases go for it. Just don’t get hooked as it cheats. At least my opponents at home do not cheat.
Computers are lucky
by bullet proof for you on 2020/10/20 12:49
Fun game for the most part and even though the cards are dealt randomly the computers usually have a randomly good hand. Occasionally I’ll have a randomly good had starting out but the computers almost always have a randomly good hand.
STOP THE ADS
by Dedrick87 on 2020/10/20 11:00
I took time out of my life, to find this in the app store and to write a review. I have been playing this game for months and love the actual game play. The thing about it that really gets under my skin is the ads. They happen so constantly and it's so frustrating. It use to be to where I could close out of the app and come back into it and the app would stop but now, no matter what I do, I have to listen to it. This is what is making me give it one Star. Then they try to extort you out of money but making you pay $2.99 if you want to remove the ads. That's is sad that we can't just enjoy your game without the ads for free. Some of the ads are 30 seconds long and make you want to pull your hair out as they have no relevance to anything important to me. Do better about getting rid of those annoying things please.
Awful one sided game
by JerseyShoreMomma on 2020/10/20 09:34
Just read these awful reviews! We all can’t be wrong and experiencing the same issues. After the 9th round it’s rigged to give the computer the advantage. All so you will make a purchase. Don’t waste your time.
Thought it would be better!!
by Lyssycarp on 2020/10/20 03:25
I absolutely love playing the real Phase 10 card game so I was stoked to see that there was an app. Little did I know it was more than just the card game. So I kept trying and found myself enjoying it until I got to level 14 and I’ve played it through all 6 phases 2-3 times every night and have not been able to get even one star!! Every time I get so close to beating the “Hardy” guy the other lady comes in and beats me. It’s so unreasonable and frustrating!!! I would love to keep playing if it wasn’t for the computers always have the right cards. I don’t expect them to never have the right cards but seriously, 3 out of 4 are computers and they always win?? That doesn’t sound right. Please fix this!!
Buggy
by StargatePhantom on 2020/10/20 02:43
The algorithm for choosing a winner does not work properly. When completing the last phase in the same round as the computer, but with fewer points and completing first, I am still given second place. Also, I would like the option of playing the full original game. The new phase types are interesting, but the original is still a popular card game for a reason.
Doesn’t work

Fun but discouraging
by cardograce on 2020/10/19 22:32
You have to use energy to play a hand. It costs 5 energy to play 1 hand and you only earn 1 energy per 5 minutes. So when you spend energy to play a hand, and the opponent goes out before you even draw a card, it’s really not that much fun.

Fun but rigged
by Starsearcher_2011 on 2020/10/19 22:00
The game is fun, but very rigged for the computer to win. I would have all the hands I need to complete a round, but the computer always goes first. They would complete their phase and go out on their first hand, before I even had a chance to lay my cards down. It’s very unfair. There’s almost no chance to win, which makes it very frustrating. I had the app for a few days and deleted it because of how frustrating it was.

Not worth it
by bzmingus on 2020/10/19 20:04
Spent the money for no ads. Was like $2.50 or $3.00. But you still have to “pay” 5 energy to play a round, and you still max out at 50 energy. So when you run out you’re done. You can buy more or wait forever for it to refill. I thought the whole point of paying was so that you could play. Guess not.

This app starts off fun but the more you play it the more you realize the app was designed a certain way bc the moves are ALWAYS the same and predictable. The player is usually set up to lose a few times against the other “default” or computer players. It’s very frustrating and you have to start the same game or round over and over until you finally win and can move on to the next journey. Most times the app will let the player get close to winning and all of a sudden a different default player comes back and wins. The programming needs to be switched up so it’s not so predictable. I can literally predict every move in the game and know what’s going to happen before it does.
Unfair
by DanariaMColeman on 2020/10/19 15:00
This game is very rigged . I love playing it but it’s like the game is very unfair at times . When I throw out a skip when there two people how do they end up still going ? That’s crazy . When it’s four people and I throw out a skip they go multiple times and when they skip me they go multiple times again ? This game is very unfair and I see why people are rating it like this .
Frustrating and stops being fun
by Stujerome on 2020/10/19 14:41
I was excited for this at first because I played this game as a kid with my family. That went away after the first few rounds. Like a lot of other reviews, it just gets to the point where the “computer” players are laying down on their first turn, regardless of what the phase is. 7 of one color? Run of 8? Random selection of colors and runs? Somehow they always lay down immediately. The canned responses all say it’s “random”, but playing this game as much as I did, the real likelihood of this happening is pretty rare. It’s also frustrating that even if you “win” it still makes you use energy to go to the next level. Most games, if you win, you get to keep going. Not this one. So you can be doing well but then end up having to wait 25 minutes before you can play again. There are coins you collect, but those appear to do nothing. This game is more frustrating than it is fun. So disappointed.
I Know You Love The Card Game But...
by The Newbie Professional on 2020/10/19 14:32
This isn’t going to be as fun as you’re expecting. You will lose 92% more than your will ever win. Unless you are buying gems and purchasing power-refills, you won’t get to play more than 3-5 (1-5 minute) rounds in one game before having to wait for refills. I had high expectations but the reality is this game wants your “coin”, not your enjoyment. Ima still play every now and then just because but I’ll probably be irritated by the end every time.
Uhhhhh
by Change the engery fees on 2020/10/19 14:12
They said this game is supposed to be like Gin Rummy type game, but unlike Gin you have to use energy for EVER LEVEL. This is so annoying because even when you win you still lose. It takes 25 energy’s just to play a full level that’s ridiculous. I don’t want to talk about the other issues of the game because that’s another chapter. It’s a cool game but dang is it really that serious to have to use an energy per game. Is it possible to play any level and just that level ALONE use 5 ENERGYS. For example, level 1 5 energy's ONLY to play. Compare to how it's set up now level one 5 energy's for 1.1, 5-1.2, 5-1.3,5-1.4 and even if I win any level I still have to pay 5 energy's to continue. There's no prize of energy’s when you win except to wait for your restore energy. I play Spades, Gin, Solitaire, and etc... they charge one flat fee and if does have levels like 10 you only charged once.
Fun until it’s not
by KellyK0505 on 2020/10/19 13:13
I wish I could just like another person’s review because a precious reviewer summed up the issue perfectly. This game is fun at first and then all of a sudden the computer starts getting all the cards they need the first time and you don’t even get a chance to play a card. Or they get all the cards they need very quickly and you repeatedly draw a 12 that you don’t need. It’s obvious the game is set up to give a huge advantage to the app players and not to the live player. At that point the game just becomes annoying.
Fun for the first couple rounds then it become impossible to win
by KEB9212 on 2020/10/19 05:28
after you get past a certain point in the game it makes it impossible for you to win the round. the computer will go from losing so bad to kicking your butt in 2 seconds.
It’s fun, but the game cheats

Not phase 10!!
by Squishy-Dick on 2020/10/19 02:51
I don't know what this is but this is not Phase 10! The phase 10 I know has 10 phases you do in order and against 1-3 people. If you complete the phase you move on the next phase. If you don't complete it you are stuck at that same level until you do. There was no method to the madness of phases or who I was playing against. Honestly it was not fun!
Fun but cheats

rigged

this game is so rigged the computers always just somehow have exactly what they need.
Don’t waste your time.
by RachelLeigh92 on 2020/10/18 21:54
Unfair and rigged. The computer always has the right cards. Also, why do I not get energy back if I win. I shouldn’t have to use 5 energy every time I want to play a phase. This game is garbage.
Too frustrating to be fun
by Iximox on 2020/10/18 21:50
After playing a while, it becomes really clear that the deal is not truly random and the bots will frequently get the best hands. It is not fun to play when the bots continually get all of the cards they need to go out on the first turn. On top of that, the ads have sound even when my phone is on silent.
SO ANNOYING!
by Klil7 on 2020/10/18 21:03
I know how to play the game already, but it will not let me exit out of the “instruction” phase. Every time you get to a new level it goes through more rules. I’m deleting now.

Such a fun game! I just downloaded yesterday this game and I haven't stopped.
The worst
by Bbybean on 2020/10/18 20:05
Completely rigged so the bots win. I have been stuck on the same level for like 100 games. Yes, I should just give up but I have the desire to finally beat these dumb bots. Anyway, it’s a waste of time & if you want to spend money on it you probably will get further but I am not so I rate this one negative stars.
Crappy Game
by GG Georgia Girl on 2020/10/18 17:44
Fun at first, then you get crappy cards while the other “players” make their phases. I guess they want you to buy power plays. Not happening. It’s bad enough I have to sit through the ads to get a wild card or skip. Deleting the app.
Earning stars
by P.eazy on 2020/10/18 14:37

Overly complex
by Zebrok on 2020/10/18 14:30
Great maybe for children but not if you’re looking to just play phase 10 without bells and whistles. There’s a forced tutorial which means almost every phase you have to slowly walk through how to play. There’s no option to turn this off.

It’s okay
by kmg20345 on 2020/10/18 03:24
I find this game addicting but I almost want to stop playing bc it’s so frustrating. I hate how bad the computer cheats. I was finally winning a game on my third or fourth attempt then all three players laid out the exact cards they needed after their turns and finished the round without me even being able to play. It’s very frustrating especially since I have to wait so long for energy. I wish they would either make the energy regenerate faster or make it to where you only lose energy if you don’t win the round. Also please stop letting the computer cheat so bad bc it takes all the fun out of it.
Definitely Rigged!!
by #Goodbye CB on 2020/10/17 22:09
It will allow you to win a couple of times but if you aren’t spending money the computer definitely has the ups on you. I deleted it became very frustrating!!
Money hungry
by MissNinaxoxo on 2020/10/17 21:57
This game is fun but you’re limited in what you can without paying. You get coins that I still don’t know what good they are. You don’t start off with gems or any real way to get more bonuses without paying. There are other games that I’ve purchased in game but they offer more than what what’s being offered here. They offer videos to watch for energy or a wild/skip card but the videos are 90% of the time lost in transit. Offer more for free, that will entice people to pa in game.
So rigged!
by Favorite😃 on 2020/10/17 17:35
This could be a fun game but their declarations of random dealing is laughable!
Don’t bother
by 5spd5thgen on 2020/10/17 13:30
Don’t bother. The odds and AI in this game are unreasonably difficult. You will spend hours trying to clear a level. It’s a cash grab, an attempt to get you to buy more lives and power ups to get past levels where the odds are clearly not in your favor EVER
Rigged

Halloween Bonus Games
by Hautelykecajenn on 2020/10/16 20:18
I love this game and additional seasonal games but I think the Halloween one is rigged. Barely give you wild or bonus cards. Me and the computer picked 20-30 cards and none were wild.
Stupid
by ugh!!!!122 on 2020/10/16 16:23

Phase 10 review
by flumuxed on 2020/10/16 03:44
I really thought I would like this app at first. But like other review, the computer doesn’t give me the cards I need very often. I feel like the game is rigged against me. Not much fun to play when you loose most of the time.
Pay to play only
by Ttt638 on 2020/10/16 01:45
To advance past about level 20 you MUST buy power ups. 150 points later I still can’t advance. Very suspicious computer advances. It’s fun up to a point. But you will not be able to keep advancing without paying more $$$. Game deleted. I’ll go back to playing the actual card game for real.
Fun for all...... yeah.... ok
by wish-it-was-better on 2020/10/15 23:48
This game cheats. Yeah it’s fun for the first few rounds but then as the game goes on it becomes increasingly obvious that the computer is going to win every time. The game is ok if you can get your friends online to play too and you play against your friends but one on one with the computer? You’re gonna lose every time mate. ***UPDATE*** Yep this game DEFINITELY cheats. First hand, EVERYONE miraculously has what they need in order to complete the specific hand but I have to draw multiple duplicates until the computer finally goes out. Complained about it in my first review. The manufacturer sends me a cookie cutter response “we will look into it and consider it in going forward.” Yeah right. Sure you will. NOT!!!! Don’t believe them and DON’T GET THIS GAME!!!!!! YOU’RE JUST GOING TO GET ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED!!!!!!
Ads keep crashing the game
by C-Note223 on 2020/10/15 23:34
Fun game and easy enough to learn and understand, but the ads keep crashing the game, which is frustrating. End a round, ad starts to load, then black screen. Want to watch an ad to get more coins? It starts to load the ad, then black screen. Nothing. Restart the app, and no coins. Frustrating.
This game!
by Amber warren on 2019/11/08 21:14
I have enjoyed this game. However! It’s impossible to get the remaining passes. The computer people get 5 wild per hand, they go out without myself getting a turn, I swear they have something against me. They skip me every level over and over and over. They’re cards that are dealt are unfair, and I swear it’s always the opposite of what I’m trying to do. If it’s a set of 4 I get a run, then the next hand it’s a run and I get 6 of the same number, so then I lose again. I’ve beat both modes, and I’ve been trying to replay back levels to get the final passes, but it’s impossible. And, the price of the gems, 50 gems per 5 energy that’s outrageous. Like come on????? Is there a reason why it’s so freaking high? You’ve programmed the journey mode to be unfair. I played the regular mode, and I breezed right through it. I don’t expect to easy that would be no fun. Changes need to be made. Honestly!!! It’s becoming more frustrating than anything and pointless at this point.
Fun for a while
by BaconManiacEatAlot on 2020/07/19 19:45
Fun at first. I finished the 1st journey and then went back to finish each level with 3 stars. Could only accomplish 2 stars on the last level - oh well, I moved on to the 2nd journey. Started becoming obvious that the computer always seemed to have the correct cards right at their first move, but I continued to play. Ads are generally able to just X out of them - sometimes you’re stuck waiting the 30 seconds. Then came level 25. Unless you’re spending money it has been impossible for me. Sometimes I’d start out ahead but then one player magically always has what they need and flies through every round and wins. I’ve lost all interest in this and will never revisit it. It’s not fun when you don’t have a chance to win; the other players always seem to skip you or have a handful of wild cards while you jut need 1 more to hit the phase; you are trying to finish a run of a color and the winners are going for the same color; you are going for a set of 4 and others are going for the same number; you throw down a 12 and now you keep picking a 12; the list goes on but I think you get the idea. It’s worth a download for a while but not a keeper. The score means nothing; if you tie a phase then whoever finished it first is declared winner even if you have zero points and they have -5000 points. Enjoy it while you can. Once you hit your brick wall then move on and don’t look back.
Game is fun but super unfair
by Joemizer on 2020/06/21 22:38
I’ve enjoyed playing phase 10 with my family for a while now so when I discovered this app I was really excited to play it, the first week it was fun and addicting but after that it’s not even worth playing. The computers cheat so badly, 9/10 they will have exactly what they need as soon as the round starts while you’re lucky to even get a set of 3 and if you’re one card away from going down the computer before you will do anything to keep you from going down, you’ll get skipped 2-3 times in a row or the computer will just pick up a card from the discard pile and immediately discard that same card to keep you from potentially grabbing a card you need from the discard pile (which is smart gameplay but they do it before they even go down so it’s like they know what you need). You’ll play on the same level over and over again for hours or sometimes days even only to get one star when you finally complete the level. And another bad thing is it takes 5 energy to play one round whether you win or lose and it takes 5 minutes to just get one energy so when you’re out of energy you have to wait 30 minutes to just play one round which you’ll most likely get set within the first 30 seconds of the round starting so it’s not even worth trying. This game has lots of potential to be a really fun game but the computers need to cut their cheating crap and give you a chance to enjoy it
Totally rigged
by itsallonesandzeros on 2020/09/29 01:00
This game is not a random dealt card game. It’s not fun when the computer is set to win a certain number of times and your own skill at keeping/discarding is pointless. The computer players are clearly given an advantage and I have experienced several times an impossible hand by the computer players. Other times i have received exactly the card I need only after being stuck on a level for several rounds. The timing of it working out for me is suspicious. There have been rounds that the computer player draws one card and can all of a sudden play multiple cards and win after nothing else has changed on the table and in the previous turns the computer couldn’t play. Several rounds will go by where the computer player is not able to play and just discards. Then all of a sudden they can play 3 or 4 cards out of their hand and win when nothing else has changed to make that possible. Knowing a card game is rigged is not fun at all. Glad I didn’t pay for this. Deleting. Oh, and the computer player pics are hideous. In response to the developer’s response, you are a liar. No way is this random. Just the fact that in each Journey game there is one computer player that goes way out ahead of the other computer players proves it. There is one who is set to win in each game. It couldn’t be more obvious. I have NEVER seen one computer player pass another computer player.
It’s fun but very frustrating
by Alexstarz92 on 2020/08/29 04:41
First of all I love this game. I played it with my boyfriends family for the first time this year and fell in love. I checked the App Store to see if there was an online version and I was very excited to learn about this one. Secondly there is so much wrong with this I can’t even. This game is rigged. I’ve never been this frustrated with a game in my life and I’ve played many games before that require you to pay a few dollars if you aren’t patient enough but no this is different. For some reason the place where you are supposed to get free coins doesn’t work (I’ve tried restarting and deleting the app many times and nothing work) this is very frustrating because now my coins are done and I can’t play and multiplayer games and on top of that it’s not like the coins come back after a couple mins...no if you are done you are just done. Many times I’ve played and the bots always seem to get the best hands. I swear to you there has been so many times I’ve entered a game and I haven’t even played come to find out they got like 3-4 wilds. The game is very unfair and it’s made a way that you have to keep purchasing even if you are patient. I feel it could have a lot of potential and that’s why I decided to give it 2 stars but other than that it’s just garbage to me now...sorry I hope this helps someone
Seriously could have made this app better if allowed to play with friends
by meg3627 on 2020/05/21 15:11
Seriously!! How can you let one or both or all of the computer players automatically have all the cards they need to pass the level!! And seriously the stars! I have played the same levels several times, I win and have less points than the computer players and I only get 2 stars? You have to go through every level sometimes 3 or 4 times before you can beat the computer! It’s insanely frustrating!! Plus you have to have diamonds to buy energy and the coins are useless unless you want to play other people but even then you have rude people telling you to hurry up when your turn just started! Plus you lose more coins when you don’t win and each level the amount of coins to play is outrageous! After playing a few levels you start to see the pattern of the computer players. And seriously 5 minutes for 1 energy is freaking ridiculous!! 50 diamonds for 5 energy bolts! Also 50 bolts max?? Why can’t you make it a 100 max full capacity?? Really!! You have to either pay or wait 25 minutes so you can play one round and lose!! Why don’t you make the game better by letting people play with family and friends virtually like we would be doing at any family gatherings! If you weren’t so focused on taking money from people, maybe you would have more people playing.
Glitchy, money centered, and unfair!
by Fernardo on 2020/04/08 04:41
Everything in this game is designed to get you to purchase something. 5 energy just to do PART of a level, even if you beat it. Most games, you only use energy or lives when you lose a level, but this one you use 5 every time. Not to mention it is 5 minutes to gain back ONE energy so it’s about half an hour for every PART of a level. Including the fact that since the computers often go out before you can even draw a card it takes several tries for each PART of a level, it’s very clear that they are trying to get you to purchase more energy or gems that you use to purchase energy. Also, I have noticed that lately when I do multiplayer, when I get back in the app, I have 0 coins. There was once when I had over 500 coins, lost 320, then returned and had 0. And just now I played a multiplayer match with 100 coins when i started. Won the match, won about 300 coins in it, but now is showing I have 0. Even though you cannot do anything with coins but multiplayer, it is a nice way to pass time while you are waiting half an hour to try your level again. Only reason I am playing this is because of the quarentine I am so bored. The only reviews I see for this app are negative yet they have a 4.8 star rating. Another glitch perhaps.
Fun until it isn’t
by Badkitty2474 on 2020/09/03 16:11
I like the different phases not included in the real game I also like being able to play solo and I understand luck of the draw and that the developers want you to spend real money I get all that ....but I have seen the computer pick up my discard then discard it so the next computer player could play it and there have also been levels where i play 3 computer players and they skip me to the point that I never get a turn so I waste my energy and / or diamonds and I’m stuck playing til they win ......the other thing is when I play against real players it seems as though if they are more experienced they seem to get their phases right off and go out and or skip me into infinity while I get one turn if I’m lucky. I also wish you could just forfeit a game and cut your losses rather than having to keep playing til the computer wins. On some games where you have 7 phases I have been stuck on a phase til I am 3-4 phases behind while all the computer players keep moving up all the while I’m using my energy to play the same phase over and over on a game i know i can’t catch up on..... if the game is gonna cheat you when you don’t pay I sure don’t wanna invest real money into it ....just saying.
Unbalanced, unfair, rigged
by B-dawg 22 on 2020/06/20 22:24
The majority of the time the computer players will layout within 3 turns and go out within 5. There are way too many occurrences of them going out on their first or second turn. Their hands are exponentially better than yours every single time. Whenever they need a run they get it or only need one care. Whenever they need a set they get it immediately. You however, get the opposite. When you need a run you get multiple of the same cards. When you need a set you almost always get a 1-10 run. The number of wilds or skips they receive is almost always greater than the amount you receive. This game needs a balancing act. I’ve been on the same boss level for over a month because of how broken it is. I’ve even tried cheating the system and quitting out before the game registers that they’ve gone out to try and get a better hand and literally nothing works. If you don’t watch ads for the bonus cards it’s hard to get anywhere for boss levels. Also expect to lose the bonus cards you get because it’s highly likely that when you use them the computer will go out before you even get a turn. On a completely different note if you don’t drag your skip to the player it’s just discarded. You should be able to drag to a player or put it on the discard pile and choose a player.
Yin/Yang...............Great game/Terrible game
by moejo5370 on 2020/08/12 22:34
It starts out like it’s gonna be the best game in the world and then they hit you with the reality that you’re never gonna win a game unless you’re dumping a ton of money into it. The first journey you start is pretty easy and as you get to the end of it you start to notice the computer ALWAYS finds a way to win. You will start a hand and miraculously the computer has drawn one card, it’s first card, and has completed the phase and has gone out before you can even draw a card. It gets worse in the second journey, ads popping more often, the computer blowing through the phases while you struggle to get the one card you’ve needed from the deal or the computer having 3 or 4 wild card a hand and you never seeing a single wild card. I love card games and Phase 10 is one of my favorite! But this version is ridiculous. I am now on the third journey and I have learned that when the computer starts beating you way too easily you can close down the app, kill it and go back into it and it resets it back to the start of that hand, not the beginning of the round. This has will help a little when the deck is stacked against you. I still have this game on my phone and will continue to fuss and play but be warned that if you download this game your frustration levels will go through the roof.
Phase 10: BROKEN GARBAGE!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD
by DaveWard06 on 2020/04/16 17:00
I love playing Phase 10, and have played for years. Recently, a friend told me about this app, so I excitedly downloaded it. At first, the app was very fun. Things went downhill quickly. (1) Upon reaching level 18, it became evident that the computer player “Glenn” was rigged to when every time. I’d be dealt a terrible hand repeatedly while EVERY TIME he would go out during his first turn. One time that this did happen on level 18, the computer player “Quinn” teamed up with “Glenn,” played skip cards on me 8 times in a row, then “Glenn” won the round. 8 skip cards in a row? THAT IS NOT STATISTICALLY POSSIBLE. THE COMPUTER IS CLEARLY CHEATING!! (2) It takes hours to fill up your diamonds, which will be gone in mere minutes trying to beat a cheating computer. This is a idiotic, greed-based model. (3) The game was fun at first, with few ads and the possibility to win. Now it’s impossible to beat the cheating computers, it takes ages to get a chance to play due to the diamond system, and ads incessantly pop-up, taking 30 seconds to 1 minute of your time before you’re allowed to return to play. Phase 10 Team - you want me to play this game and watch the ads for your revenue stream? FIX THE CHEATING. FIX THE DIAMOND SYSTEM. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!! The owners of the app should feel shame. You won’t get any more of my time, or what you really want: MONEY!
Average with potential
by 8384738291019474 on 2020/05/22 06:12
As a person who has played the game for over a decade, I was extremely excited to see this transformed for a mobile version. There seems to be plenty of content between the multiplayer and worlds. I enjoy the aspect of additions to phases (ex: odds of one color, 3 over 10, etc) and the multiplayer ‘online’ version. However, i have found that the game is extremely difficult to progress - with the energy being used even if you win, and the hard levels being seemingly impossible to win on the first try unless you pay real world money for skips or wild cards. The game started with a LONG tutorial that you cannot skip (with full volume and music blaring), and I have been playing for years. I was also disappointed that I can only receive the World chests if I have facebook, which I do not. Thats seems unfair to those that don’t want to have a social media account for whatever their personal reasons may be. Overall, the game has plenty of potential but many flaws. I have been playing for months and I still can’t figure out what the coins are for, which seems odd. Not to mention it seems like the reviews seem rigged.. the only detailed onesare negative reviews.

Would be a great game, but they do not follow the card game rules. I have been skipped 6 times in a row, and never got to draw a card. I was in a 6 phase set, on level 3, and the other 3 players were on level 1, i got skipped at least 3 times per level, and never got a chance to play again, as Kadin went out. He won all 5 hands in a row, and on at least 3 pf them he was dealt a perfect hand. This game needs to be more of a game of chance nit a rigged game. If you buy the powerups, you can almost certainly expect to get caught holding them. Much like other comments, if you need 3 sets of 2 or 7 odd of one color you can expect to be dealt a run of 7 or 8 or be dealt 3 even of every color. Not once when playing the real card game have i experienced such blatant card stacking. Developers of the app need to rethink their goal, as i deleted the app due to frustration, and would not purchase in app because of the blatant stacking of the cards, you could be certain that spending money would be a waste of time and money since the game appears to be stacked against you even with the free power ups. Don't waste you time with this app.....you will get frustrated and delete it like i did
SUCH A SHAME

Update: I keep wanting this game to be awesome so I keep playing it and it keeps being lame. I’m in the Savannah now and the levels have become un-winnable. The game simply will not give you the cards you need to pass, and the other players get everything they need in the first few draws. WHY ARE YOU RUINING THIS POTENTIALLY GREAT GAME, DEVELOPERS?!?! MAKE IT FAIR. I will watch your ads for as many wilds as double skips as you offer, I already paid you money to have the game itself be ad free. JUST MAKE IT FAIR. And also, LET US KEEP OUR ENERGY WHEN WE WIN!!!!!! C’mon you guys quit being greedy and lame. ALSO, please explain why you have so many stars when the reviews are bad...??????? Original review: This game could be so so great! The graphics are awesome and the game itself is so addicting! But (without going into too much detail) the whole point of it really is to give you not enough of anything to play the game and no way to get what you need except to pay for it with cold hard cash. Also, the AI players you play against are too lucky...it’s not realistic or fair. I would happily pay a one time fee for the game just to have it function more like a game and less like a rigged slot machine. Also, how are the positive reviews so high? All of the reviews I read were negative. Another cheat.
Definitely rigged
by MB86wr on 2020/10/14 07:04
Updated: instead of copying and pasting the same ole reply read your reviews and fix the issues.... Cards are definitely NOT random when you are getting dealt the exact same cards in the exact same step per level.....the bad reviews tell you what’s wrong fix the issues!!!! I love phase 10 as the card game but this app makes it horrible to play. It takes all the fun out of the game. You win and get to actually play the game at first but then you hit a certain level and it becomes impossible to win. I have seen the computer get everything on the first round, I have seen the computer lay down multiple discards, I’ve been skipped when there wasn’t a skip card etc..... the one that really blows my mind is the games within the game. For example they have a Halloween theme one right now.... the particular level I’m on literally goes the same way each time...I literally get dealt the exact same cards in each step and don’t win in the end every time. They always comment saying our developers are working or looking into this but nothing has obviously changed just look at all the reviews!!! The cards ARE NOT RANDOM, it is very much setup/rigged. It’s just a shame to ruin what is supposed to be a fun card game.
Temporary star pass and who’s really the winner?
by iWorlds on 2020/07/06 10:01
I happen to love the card game version of Phase 10. I downloaded the app thinking that it would be the same rules as in the card version. In the card version the person to complete the last phase is the winner. If there are two people who complete the last phase then the winner is the player with the fewest points. This is a big problem and causes for a lot of confusion. I feel as though the rules should be the same. After all the app version is indeed a virtual edition of the actual card game. There are things like this which discourage a user from playing. Also, I purchased the star pass while going through the journey. $4.99. Only to then realize that it was rendered useless in the journeys to follow. I do not appreciate paying for a “pass” which should be good for all areas where there is to be a pass used. Only to find out I spent my actual money to purchase a pass that has a expiration. Would have been helpful to know from the beginning, which I more than likely wouldn’t have purchased. Other than this it is a good game. Just would recommend paying attention when playing because this is NOT like the card version.
Needs Some Asjustments
by Sondais on 2020/10/06 23:17
Initially this seems like a lot of fun. However there are some things that makes me want to quit. 1. Each level has multiple phases and you have to pay five bolts to play each phase. The max you can earn for free is 50, which means there is a max of 10 phases before you either pay or wait hours to refill. A level can have 30 phases in it between all the tiers. 2. While the developers say that card distribution is random the computer players get all the cards they need on their first turns every time on the first phase of every level. This happens every single time leaving me with no move at all and a wicked high score as well. 3. There seems to be a scoring glitch. I can win every level (but the first one) and have the lowest score, but if I don’t win the final phase in a level (go out with no cards left) whoever goes completely out wins, even if they have 250 points to my 80. I think this game has potential but there is a huge money grab. While I don’t mind paying from time to time. To have more than a little bit of play time you have to pay frequently, which I can’t afford to do.
This app needs to get it together - look at your reviews!!
by fatjbatz on 2020/10/07 23:32
This app is bs. I’ve never been so frustrated by what’s supposed to be fun. The fact that the developers just lie in their response and say they programmed it to be totally random is a bunch of crap. The game gets noticeably harder as you go on, which makes sense for an app game I guess but eventually you just can’t win. Phase 10 is a game that has very little to do with skill and a lot to do with luck and timing. Taking luck out of the equation makes it no better (or more fair) than your average slot machine. As others have said, the computer players aren’t the only thing that’s unfair about this game. As far as I can tell, the coins are useless for anything but garnering more coins. Diamonds are incredibly overpriced for the amount of stuff they’ll get you - the lowest purchase point buys enough power-ups for two games, tops, which won’t even boost you a whole level in the off chance you do win. The game also caps your energy low enough so that you can only play for ten minutes at a time before having to wait hours to play again if you don’t want to spend money - but hey, $2 will get you a whole ‘nother 90 seconds of playtime! Wow! ...Maybe I’ll just go back to the card game.
CHEATING computers!!
by Alyssa27363829484 on 2020/03/05 05:59
This game is SO FUN! I had SO much fun playing it in real life and on my phone. I know the computers are supposed to be challenging and you can't win every single time, but tell me why I've played the 2nd "hard" level 12 times now and I've lost every single time!? It's really not fair how I'll be doing so well and I just have 2 cards to get rid of, then the computer will lay everything out and mess me up. It's really not fair how this has happened twice now where the computer won on the very first turn of the phase!! It's REALLY not fair when I wasted good Wild cards that you get before you have to use the gems (that you have to pay real money for) and that's just gone as soon as someone wins. It's almost as if this freaking game is PUSHING you to buy gems and energy just so you're able to get wild cards to make them into whatever card you need so you can win. I refuse to put real money into this game if it goes on like this. Also, once I was FINALLY the only one in the 6th phase, suddenly EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING REALLY WELL and I end up with -400 thus losing the entire game and needing to repeat the freaking level. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! Like another review said: Put them on "normal" not "extreme".
Good- not perfect.
by hARTzteacher on 2020/02/02 14:33
It’s fun, I like the variety of phases, phase numbers, and opponents in the journey mode. A few changes that would make this game great: being able to edit my name so I can have it linked to my Facebook account but not everyone when playing multiplayer can see my last name. Also, a multiplayer mode where we can play the true game against people we actually know would be great! (An option to choose how many phases to play would be an amazing addition with this!) My family is a big Phase 10 fan whenever we get together but we live hours apart. This would be fun to enjoy with them. With a chat option as well to make the social aspect of the game more social. Lastly, the ability to see what cards (for the Barbie event, or any future events) our friends need to help them out without having to message them with a list. For example, if I select the card I have multiples of (maybe I have 3 extras of card 22) hit the send button, it would pop up a list of only friends who need that card and let me select up to 3 because that’s how many extras i have. 🤗
Good and Bad
by Rusty.Pierce on 2020/04/27 13:03
I love the physical card game! My family plays it all the time. So I was excited when I saw it in the App Store, but that being said I think the five energy rule for just one round in a level of like 6 or 7 rounds is absolutely ridiculous! For example (if you start a level it costs five energy then you continue to move up which costs five energy for each round till you win, but wait if you lose a round you have to play that round again and again till you win or till you run out of energy). It would make more since to allow us to use energy on each level and not charge for every round in a level. I’m definitely not going to pay for energy each time I lose a level and waiting five minutes for one energy is literally unfair and poorly designed. I love the game and I want to continue to play it while I’m on the go, I just don’t see myself getting passed the absolutely stupid stupid stupid five energy rule. If the developers can fix that rule to where it’s more reasonable then I’d definitely recommend the game, but till that happens it’s a bust for me. For that reason alone I’m giving it two stars!
Good game but not very fair
by ashwe93 on 2020/07/24 22:13
So I noticed when you play the game you can exit out and replay a level without losing lives but you lose your cards that help out in the beginning if you lose them and I did a little test and noticed that no matter how many times I restart it even if I have good cards I somehow still lose I’ve retried a level 20 times now and no matter what I do I lose so I honestly think it’s somehow rigged. The ONLY way you can win a game that’s rigged to make you lose is buy and using as much power ups as you need and the price is honestly not fair because there is still a high chance you use those power ups and don’t even get a turn at all you just automatically lose before your turn and lose the power ups. I also with you can use the coins you win to buy energy or something because you can literally only use them for live games which I also feel are unfair because depending on your cards you can win before it’s even your turn. Idk the game just seems fishy to me but if it was actually fair it would be a good game.
potential but kinda bad
by whys so many names taken on 2020/07/13 04:22
It’s unnecessary that to have to use 5 energy to play one game only to have one of those bots go out before you even have a chance to play. It’s dumb that i’ve been stuck on a level for over a week and still can’t manage to get off the level. Giving the bots 3 or more wilds..for what? How did they have 5 even and 5 of one color without even pulling. I do suggest that you make it an option to skip a level if it takes a long time to get past it. With the level i’m on...i don’t think i’m gonna pass it any time soon cause those bots are literally ridiculous. So...there’s some more work y’all can put into to make it better. It’s just a really stressful game atm. When playing irl..it usually takes us ab 10 minutes to get past a level and that’s what makes it fun. In this game it takes 3 minutes max. That’s not fun. and i know that sometimes people get lucky and have their phase handed to them but how do the boys get them every time i open the game. That’s ridiculous. So yea....put some more work into it.
Disappointed
by a.butterfly on 2020/07/03 00:55
I want to say I love the app because I love the game, but the app seems to be “money hungry” rather than designed for you to have fun and it seems to be rigged against you. I should not be yelling at the app for moves that don’t make sense especially when they happen over and over. I noticed when I spend money I excel on the board, but when I do not it is programmed to make me loose over and over. The app players skip you even when it doesn’t make sense and skip you multiple times. Also, the app players tend to get dealt a winning hand. I have never hand a winning hand from the jump. I always have to work for it. Furthermore, why do we have to lose the 5 lighting bolts when you win the phase. In other games we do not loose lives when we excel the phase. My theory... money. Playing with actually ppl is a lot more fun. I think the app should feel Ike you are playing with actual ppl. App creators if you are reading this please fix the algorithms. You will have more people using the app and spend money on the app if it was fair and feel like you’re playing with actual people.
Game cheats you so you can buy wild cards.
by Yazmin Jazelle on 2020/03/31 21:33
This game would be so much fun if it wasn’t so rigged. It’s just so apparent that the game is cheating you. Every 5 levels or so there is a level marked with horns and during that level it’s soooooo clear that clothe computer just wont allow you to win. I mean it’s clear with the other levels too but level 15 i had to play about 17 times before the computer let me win. I think it’s so you can buy the wild and skip cards. (I did not spend any money but I think after you try a number of times it allows you to win) I play other phase 10 games on my phone and for some reason those feel more natural. It feels like he cards I pickup are random. Here it seems like the computer knows exactly what you need and won’t give it to you. It just gets ridiculously annoying. The only thing I really enjoy is playing against real people. But they need to ease off the “journey part” making the players better is one thing but making it so that the computer completes the phase as soon as cards are delt (every single time) is ridiculous. Just be less obvious.
Confusing
by Fairyjesus on 2020/08/16 04:38
The physical card game is fun and easy to understand but this freemium mobile version is just weird. I get the concept of the “energy” to play the game, (which I think is weird to begin with) but I was hoping I could find some kind of guide or help button to explain what the hell the different currencies are for. Diamonds can buy energy so you can play the game but...it’s a card game? Why would I spend money to get diamonds to eventually get energy just to play the game? Other than that, I have over 2k coins for some unknown reason. If I need to spend real money to buy diamonds that eventually buy coins, then what is the value of these coins? I just don’t get why there are extra currencies like coins/ice cream etc. with no explanation for what they can do. I really don’t like or support pay-to-play games and this is probably going to be one of those “play until I run out of energy and then not touch it for weeks/months” kind of games. All I need is a simple “help” button. Even Solitaire has a help button. I played that game when I was somewhere around 7 years old on Windows 95.
Horrible cheat of user experience
by Jhegs on 2020/09/05 21:24
I don’t write many reviews but this was one of the worse cases of cheating the user I have seen in a long time. Played 1 match of multiplayer for 1500 coins bet. Started off with 2925 coins and after the match I had zero coins after. Not to mention anytime that you earn a power up like starting with a wild or the double skip it automatically has the power up checked as if you want to use it for every match unless you remember to uncheck it every single time. Which if you want to play faster you try to keep playing forward. Oops I forgot to uncheck it! You have to spend 5 energy to play each and every round on each level??? Come on give me a break. Oh and did I forget to mention that even if you wait several days for your energy to just keep filling. There seems to be a cap on how much energy you can earn. But where is that cap? Does the cap raise higher if you spend money to buy gems to buy energy? I bet there is no cap on energy then. Plus all of the times the game selects the wrong card when dragging to the middle or trying to play on a phase. Absolutely the worst game in the App Store.
Cash Grab
by Relbelle on 2020/08/08 04:39
This game started out fun, but it quickly lost its appeal. BE WARNED, this app only wants to make money. And even if you spend the money to get the bonus cards (wild, skip 2), they are often wasted because the computer players will go down before you have a chance to use your bonus cards. The computer will skip you for multiple turns in a row, even if you have nothing in your hand, leaving all the players able to go out except for you. It doesn’t matter how many times you play a level, this game wants you to lose. As much as I loved this game in the beginning, my frustration has led me to delete the app and move on to something less rigged. The thing is, I will spend money on apps I enjoy—if I don’t feel like the app is cheating me. Spending money on this game is a waste because you may not even be able to use what you spent money on! It’s just gone, left in your hand to disappear when one of the computer players goes out. For that reason, this GREED by the app developer, I will no longer be playing this game. And if you’ve made it this far into my review, hopefully you can save yourself and AVOID THIS APP!!
Fun but bugs in system
by DvinDiva on 2020/08/18 04:14
I tried to “contact us” thru the app, but the “robot” couldn’t comprehend to address my issue and there’s no “other” option to submit any concerns, questions. I have played in my latest round where we both reached the final phase and the rules say the one with the lowest overall score wins - I won the 1st 2 rounds and we both finished the 3 rd - my final score was -5 and my opponent’s was -20 or -25, but they won! That’s not right. This is also occurring in the other game - the one that’s in the middle with a time limit of days - I’ve lost 3 times in playing for the exact same reasons. I love phase 10 & have played at home for many years. If you can’t fix it to correctly calculate the winner, then I’ll just have to quit playing here and go back to my real cards. This is an addictive game, but this is nerve wracking when it doesn’t calculate fairly. Your rules say the lower score breaks the tie, well it’s not happening.
Need more options for gameplay
by jenniferlee327 on 2020/09/04 07:55
It’s fun for a while and good for easy, mindless entertainment, but after awhile, especially on later levels it seems the computer players are given unfairly good cards. Some of the levels are almost impossible to beat and every computer player gets multiple wild cards or exactly what they need to complete a phase while skipping you even when you’re losing. More importantly, the animation for skipping players takes way too long and there is no way to speed it up or turn it off. There is also no way to quit a hand once you start it, so you are often forced to suffer through a hand even when you know you have lost. It is way, way too easy to accidentally discard a card you are trying to play in your phase or on another player’s phase, and there is no “undo” button - I have thrown out wild cards, skip cards, and cards I needed for my phase many times because the game has decided my finger hovered too close to the discard pile. Overall, fun for a while but needs some work on the interface and on the AI.
One sided! (Please Read)
by KierLeon on 2019/12/30 03:23
At first I thought this was so fun! But after a few days, I realized how one sided this game really is. The first few stages are fun and quick. And I absolutely love Phase 10! I thought it was such a fun twist. However, literally every PHASE (not level) you play is 5 energy!! You can ONLY get up to 50 energy saved up. It also takes a RIDICULOUS amount of time to even get energy. Once you past (I wanna say about) level 10, the “computer” players literally ONLY ever skip you. (Like 99% of the time) and most of that time you aren’t even close to being in the lead. They skip you for absolutely NO reason whatsoever. It ends up being very one sided. It’s not even fun to play anymore. I’ve been stuck on level 15 for over a week now because the bots/computers literally skip me all the time for no reason and seem to ALWAYS have the PERFECT hand which leads to me NOT being able to play at all that round. On top of that, any power ups you use (or intend on using and can’t due to the above mentioned defects) you just lose. Even if you don’t even get the chance to use them. Needless to say, I’m not pleased at all with this game.
Money hungry app
by bitchygal on 2020/05/19 19:42
This is a money centered game. at first it starts off kind of slow, I know how to play the game but they insist on walking you through all these rules and really slowly work you through the first 4 to 5 levels which is very boring. then when it starts getting good you realize that you have to pay in order to keep playing. you can’t just play for hours on end you have to have “energy” which you can purchase or you can wait about half an hour to gain more energy but then you can’t even complete a phase after you have waited half an hour. by level 15 you start playing more and more phases in a level but the computers are rigged to get their phase on their first play and they skip you over and over again which doesn’t allow you to get your phase and then they go out. Unless you decide to buy lots of skip cards and wild cards so you can get your phases sooner. This app should just have you pay for the app so that way you can enjoy the app! Very fun at first but clear it’s just a rip off app How they have almost 5 stars when every review is less than 3 stars doesn’t make sense.
HELP
by SeaOfLions on 2020/06/28 01:26
My game all of a sudden told me that I could not access parts of it anymore such as multiplayer, fortune hunt and treasure chests because I needed to be “online to use that feature”. I know for a fact that I had excellent internet connection and could not figure out why it consistently told me I needed to be online. I deleted the app and re-installed it to attempt to fix the issue. No luck. Now i’m lost without my account that had a ton of progress, coins and phase-bucks on it. All of that hard work and time down the drain. I attempted to recover my old account through the FAQ section. Useless and a waste of time. Nothing was helpful at all for my account recovery unless I had used Facebook to link to my Phase 10 account. I had used my apple ID to create my account, so the facebook route was useless to me. Theres not even an option to contact customer support via email unless filled out by the questionnaire. The questionnaire in itself is ridiculous. I NEED TO TALK TO AN ACTUAL PERSON SO I CAN GET MY ACCOUNT BACK. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!
AI has the upper hand
by Justin6297 on 2020/05/08 15:15
Computer players have the upper hand in every level. Like others have posted, they will lay their cards out before you even get a turn or you will get skipped multiple times. Going for that set of four 5s? Good luck. Anytime you need the last card, you will continue to draw the same number each time and could have already changed to a different number to collect. Most of the time when going for all of the same color....well the AI is going for that color too and will get what they need before you will. You will need skips and wilds to have a fraction of a chance, which of course costs real currency. The energy system is a joke. 5 energy to play just one hand of a phase set. It takes 25 minutes to obtain 5 energy. One phase set can be 5 hands to complete. Do the math....unless you pay to win, you will become frustrated. If you fail to lay down cards before the computer does, you will fall behind a hand and never catch up. After being stuck on level 18 for days, this is app is now removed from my device.
Brutal expensive and not user friendly
by stella524 on 2020/08/30 05:25
So disappointed. Fun game but ultimately far more expensive than any other similar game apps. $7 will get you enough to play 12 rounds but the rounds go fast. It often ends up being just 10-15 min of play. The ONLY way to progress is to purchase items that will give you an advantage. On the occasions I’ve done that however, seems the bots end up with the same or greater number of skips and wild cards. Mattel can claim the cards are random but that is BS. I’ve been stuck on the same hand in the same level for days on end. I keep replaying the level upon getting to that hand simply cannot achieve 4 even cards of one color. No lie, I have played the hand over a dozen times. I’m sure I could do it if I were to purchase the advantage, but I refuse. Simply will not spend another penny on this game that is clearly set up as a pay to win windfall for Mattel. ***Note too: while rated E for everyone, this is not a game for children. This is in reality, a fun family game that my kids have always enjoyed. This app however would make them cry within a half hour.
Needs some changes-please read
by Queen_Fishy on 2020/02/12 02:59
I thought this game was great, as I’m sure that’s what most people thought. I loved the variety of phases and the levels were challenging but fun... but after about level 10 I realized how hard it was becoming. Not so much the levels but just playing the game. Every time I wanted to move on I had to use 5 energy and you only about 50, they take a while to recharge, so you don’t get to play the game that much. When you do play the game you’ve just waisted energy because the opponent somehow gets a perfect hand and always skips you. May I remind you that they are programmed, not online players. Which I get that because it’s in levels but you still shouldn’t be skilled all the time and you need a change to play the game otherwise you’re waistline energy and time. Sorry, but this game needs a little help. :( I really like this game but it needs some changes if that can be done. After those changes have been made I’d be happy to give a 5 star rate with a good review.
Not like the in-person Phase 10
by money grab and rigged on 2020/04/30 04:30
I got this app because I’m a fan of the physical card game. This turned out to be nothing like it. The levels vary in difficulty, which means the “hard” levels sometimes do not even give you a turn before an opponent goes “out” and ends the phase. This does not happen when the levels are “easy.” In easy levels, I am also dealt more helpful cards. It’s annoying because the game chooses cards for you and the bot opponents, sometimes in your favor, sometimes not. I just want a fair deal left up to chance and some strategy. The game also is centered around wanting you to buy things. If you play online with other real players, you automatically have to gamble a minimum of 100 coins (I don’t even think you earn coins aside from gambling unless you buy them, so once you’re out, you’re out). I just wanted to play a friendly game without needing power-ups or in-game purchases. You also only have so much “energy” so when you run out, you’re forced to stop where you are in a game and wait 20 or so minutes.
Great Game ..buttt
by gff33 on 2020/02/07 00:24
I love Phase 10 and was very excited to use this app. But. Why have the Facebook friends if we can’t play with them ? That would be fun playing with them, it would only make sense instead of seeing how many stars they have. And the Phases are cool but why every time I start one the bots are already throwing down and moving on to the next set. Like I really had to play a level 50 times to pass it and the only reason I passed it was because I bought the pass so I can get wild cards and stuff. You guys need to do something about that. Let it be a fair game. I don’t want to win all the time but the boys winning every time until I buy something ? Ridiculous. And this waiting a hundred years for energy is ridiculous and we gotta use 5 a game ? Why not 2 or 3 or do it like you use a certain amount for a level or something. PLEASE FIX THIS. I read the reviews that have similar issues like me and nothing is being done. Let us enjoy the game instead of hating it
The only reason I gave it two stars was because I actually enjoyed it at first.

This game is so flawed it’s actually pretty funny. There’s a multiplayer mode but I’m 99% sure you’re actually playing bots. If you are playing a “real person” it’s not real time it’s probably just the account of a “real person”. In order to play multiplayer you have to win money acquired by your wins in multiplayer. The problem with this is there’s nothing to spend your money on. There’s no incentive to make you want to play the journey mode so you can unlock the next levels of multiplayer to win more money. Honestly, at first I enjoyed the game. I thought it was a pretty unique twist from the card game, especially because of how the multiplayer is. But after realizing the players I’m going against are nothing but bots and seeing I had nothing to spend the money on it got old rather quickly. Also.. the developers are insane for making us wait so long in order to get energy back. Especially because they charge 5 out of our 50 energies PER PHASE, NOT PER LEVEL. Preposterous!
Please read!

I love phase 10. It’s a fun game I’ve been playing for 20 years. This version is ridiculous. Each time you play it costs 5 energy and you could possibly not play a single card for 2-3 rounds straight. The “computer” players always seem to have the perfect hand every time and they constantly skip you and then go out while you just sit there and do nothing. You can purchase power-ups which is useless when you use them and can’t even play them because the “computer” keeps skipping you, and if you don’t use them you lose them. I think you should be able to keep power ups you don’t use and energy when you don’t even play a single card. Every 5 levels is a “boss” level. I was stuck on level 15 for a week! Maybe make the game more fair. I don’t want it to be easy, but maybe make it so its not so one sided. Ive gotten to the point where I don’t care if i get 1st place every hand, or even worry about the points...i just want to finish the phases and move on. It makes the game not fun in my opinion.
Stop! No! Don’t Do It!
by Zach in Pittsburgh on 2020/04/22 22:48
This game is RIDICULOUS!!! How in the world is it possible that the CPUs can get so many wild and skips cards each hand, beyond what’s even possible in a standard deck, leaving you DESTROYED?!?!?! Don’t even think about shooting for the 3 stars after completing a level due to the completely IMPRACTICAL criteria!!! Also, this app must have a different set of rules, because in standard play, if multiple players phase out on the last phase, the player with the lowest points accrued over game play is the winner; well guess what, NOT HERE, as the winner in these situation in the app somehow always goes to the CPU... SUSPICIOUS!!! Plus, the insistent prompts to buy wild and skip cards is ANNOYING but make sense because that’s they only way you’ll actually progress in this game!!! I would give zero stars if possible! This is definitely not a game for those who hold near and dear to the original Phase 10 card game! At the time of this review, in my over 5 weeks of quarantine due to COVID-19, this app ranks in the top 3 things I’ve hated about quarantine! Don’t download this app, but if you do, certainly don’t buy any in-app purchases! BOO!!!
Needs MAJOR work!!
by Mama.P on 2020/03/06 00:00
I was so excited to find this game b/c I love it in real life. I love the different levels and how it’s challenging and different than the original HOWEVER...it is ABSOLUTELY Ridiculous that if you complete the level you have to spend an additional 5 lives for each level. In every other game I play you don’t have to spend more money to advance as long as you don’t die during the level. I understand using energy if you don’t complete it or something along those lines but if I’m winning I shouldn’t have to use additional energy. Also, the fact that I can only get 50 energy max at a time with no way of getting more beyond spending actual money is a slap in the face especially since you have to use 5 per round no matter what! Additionally the coins... SERVE ZERO PURPOSE... it’s truly laughable...there’s absolutely nothing to use them on. It takes diamonds to get more energy and real money to get more diamonds. The coins do NOTHING!!! So people are out there watching ads waisting time for “free coins” when they do NOTHING! PLEASE Do us all a favor and overhaul this otherwise great game!
25 minutes per one hand!?
by Danielle DRep on 2020/03/28 22:27
I never write reviews on anything. I’m a big Phase 10 fan and think this a great twist on the game. I understand the frustration with the bots. They each get 2-5 wilds when you get none, and they skip only you which guarantees a loss once you get passed level 10 but I also know part of the game is the fact that you lose in one hand, or not even getting to your turn before someone goes out (my family has stories). My issue is that getting to level 10 takes what feels like 10 months. This “energy level” thing is BS. 5 for each hand, not even the level. If you win a hand, you don’t win it back to maybe sit and enjoy the game. You can use 5 energy and not even get a turn cause the bot was dealt a straight of 10 cards with 4 wilds then you have to wait 25 minutes to even try again. The concept of this energy thing makes absolutely no sense to me. If you fix this, or come up with an alternate plan for it, things would be great. Until then...I’ll play Best Fiends.
Obviously rigged
by Cm318 on 2020/04/16 17:00
I downloaded this several days ago and it’s very obvious that it’s set up to get you hooked and then get you to spend money. Starting off in journey mode for the 10 levels or so you miraculously are given such great hands to be able to get the cards you need... they show you how to use boosters and have it so that unless you UNclick them you go through them automatically. Levels with multiple phases make you use energy for every phase in that level. But as you get further along the computer characters you’re play against magically are given such great hands that they can lay their cards down in the very first turn... sometimes even winning the round before you get a turn...and that’s not rare, it’s almost every hand so that it’s basically impossible to win that level without a bunch of boosters. Those boosters are expensive too... takes a lot of diamonds or whatever they use to get just a few. Nothing like the real game at all. Multiplayer is ok. But be careful not to join a more expensive game and lose... all my coins were wiped out.
Ehh.
by Tnschools on 2020/07/31 17:57
Loved this game at first, but now it’s become more of a frustration. I first got it and it was so simple, I deleted it. Husband told me to give it another try, so I did. And had a lot of fun until world 3. Lucy ALWAYS wins. If she’s playing, she’s getting her phase and going out on the deal (which is annoying) just about every time. I’ve also noticed that if I’m two phases ahead, someone will most of the time pass me on first round and go out until I lose the round. After I’ve repeated the round 2-3 times, the computer finally lets me win. I loved the dice game that allowed for chances to win extra gems, energy, etc., but that’s gone now and the Barbie cards are dumb. I have 3 of almost every card and keep getting repeats, but none of the ones that I need to complete an “outfit”, which means I’m not able to get any additional energy, gems, coins, etc. I still play to pass the time, but it’s not half of as enjoyable as it was when I first downloaded it. As soon as I find something else to play, I will be deleting this.
Don’t download

I have always loved phase ten so I thought it’d be fun to have an app to play with. This game is so infuriating. If you are playing through the levels, the computers will often start with the exact hand that they need so you don’t even get one round before losing. Your points don’t matter at all if you don’t finish the last round first. You could have -5 points from getting second in the last round but if someone else finishes before you they win even if they have -500 points. When you play with other people (you have to pay with coins), you will lose coins unless you finish first. Plus somehow almost every time I play and lose, I lose the exact amount of coins I have left regardless of how many points behind I was. One game I had -5 points in the end, got second, and lost over 500 coins. It’s so infuriating and not worth the time. You’ll spend way more time sitting around waiting for your energy to come back than actually playing the infuriating game that you will lose 9/10. I have no idea how this game has such a high rating.

Annoying
by RudaRu2 on 2020/10/23 02:52
Too much animation.
This game is awesome

by nativetarbell on 2020/10/22 22:54
This game is a joke.
Uninstall.

No multiplayer with friends.

I do not recommend this game.

by CelMS on 2020/10/22 11:51
The developers favorite response is the cards are dealt randomly..

Games are supposed to be fun, this one was just sad and disappointing.

by usnavycop on 2020/10/22 02:23
This game was great at the beginning, for about, oh, 2 weeks.

Fun all day long

Doesn’t work
by Jines4450 on 2020/10/19 23:35
So if i complete a phase the computer doesn’t recognize it and then it counts points against me. Disappointing

Lots of fun

Good game by yourself
Not worth it
by bzmingus on 2020/10/19 20:04
Spent the money for no ads. Was like $2.50 or $3.00. But you still have to “pay” 5 energy to play a round, and you still max out at 50 energy. So when you run out you’re done. You can buy more or wait forever for it to refill. I thought the whole point of paying was so that you could play. Guess not.
Programming Too Obvious
by Fansmastic on 2020/10/19 18:46
This app starts off fun but the more you play it the more you realize the app was designed a certain way bc the moves are ALWAYS the same and predictable.

Not phase 10!!
by Squishy-Dick on 2020/10/19 02:51
I don't know what this is but this is not Phase 10! The phase 10 I know has 10 phases you do in order and against 1-3 people. If you complete the phase you move on the next phase. If you don't complete it you are stuck at that same level until you do. There was no method to the madness of phases or who I was playing against. Honestly it was not fun!

by RachelLeigh92 on 2020/10/18 21:54
Unfair and rigged.
SO ANNOYING!
by Klil7 on 2020/10/18 21:03

by Bbybean on 2020/10/18 20:05
Completely rigged so the bots win.
Deleting the app.

by Zebrok on 2020/10/18 14:30
Great maybe for children but not if you’re looking to just play phase 10 without bells and whistles. There’s a forced tutorial which means almost every phase you have to slowly walk through how to play. There’s no option to turn this off.

by kmg20345 on 2020/10/18 03:24
I find this game addicting but I almost want to stop playing bc it’s so frustrating.

Offer more for free, that will entice people to pa in game.

by 5spd5thgen on 2020/10/17 13:30
Don’t bother. The odds and AI in this game are unreasonably difficult. You will spend hours trying to clear a level. It’s a cash grab, an attempt to get you to buy more lives and power ups to get past levels where the odds are clearly not in your favor EVER

Pay to play only
by Ttt638 on 2020/10/16 01:45

Great concept, can not win
by Alohabeek on 2020/07/04 22:50
Would be a great game, but they do not follow the card game rules. Don't waste you time with this app.....you will get frustrated and delete it like i did
SUCH A SHAME
by Hoki Poki on 2020/09/11 19:39
Update: I keep wanting this game to be awesome so I keep playing it and it keeps being lame.
Cash Grab

Let us enjoy the game instead of hating it
The only reason I gave it two stars was because I actually enjoyed it at first.
by TUN3CHI on 2019/11/22 11:11
This game is so flawed it’s actually pretty funny.
Please read!
by Thunderbee22 on 2019/12/23 17:16
I love phase 10.
BOO!!!
Needs MAJOR work!!

Ehh.
