Got the Disney app immediately after lunch, so excited... so disappointed!!!! Just like long lines at the park, wait in line 2 hours and the ride breaks down... this app can’t stream without interruption. I haven’t been able to watch guardians of the galaxy 2 without trying like eight times now!!! And I just spent a another hour trying to watch the first 15 minutes of Ragnarok... Walt would be so ???? I loved Disneyland as a kid and now I hate everything about it. And this app is about to be delete. This I have said before and no one at Disney is it listening. 12/12/2019

I love watching Disney and Disney plus has all my favorites, but it has difficulty connecting to WiFi and does not stream smoothly. If connection is just barely shy of strong, it disconnects. Even at my university where the WiFi is fine for everything else including other streaming sites and services, Disney plus does not load unless no one is using the internet. Please fix because I love watching.

It would be nice if it didn’t lag so much. I understand that it’s probably from a lot of people using the app at the same time but it’s still frustrating watching a movie and then all you get is audio with spotty video for *up to* 20 Minutes. Other than that it’s great, but my kids are upset y’all took incredibles away 😂. It’s a great app that’s worth the money. I know it will get situated.

Love love lovveee disney+ the only slight problem is when I want to watch a downloaded tv series. I click on it and works great but then around the middle of an episode it starts buffering and I’m not able to watch the rest of it.

The sound in every movie I’ve watch goes from 100% randomly drops as low as 20% then jumps back up for no reason very annoying even makes some movies unwatchable would like to see it fixed

I love the content provided and the app itself looks great. The download feature, though, seems to have a critical flaw. If you try to play back when offline, like on my daughter’s iPad on a road trip, it won’t play. It says something about not verifying license. Same thing on a plane without WiFi. The license should be issued at time of download for some period on time. In daughters case, I downloaded night before road trip. I know you want to secure your content, but the whole point of the download feature is to watch later when OFFLINE.

But they really need to work out the bugs. Episodes of old shows out of order or just plain missing and entire seasons of shows missing. 3 stars because it has so much potential. I’ll probably return sometime in the future to give it another shot, but even at its current price point, it just isn’t worth it.

Signed up, created an account for my daughter and chatted with live Disney support. There is 1 email account to login. You can create multiple profiles, you can even create a profile for your child with “our friendly restrictions”...but here is the embarrassment... There are no separate logins. Your children login with your master account. Your kid can simply turn off and “kid friendly” restrictions you set. Your kid can simply switch over to your profile. You kid can even change your password or the account email address all together... Disney live rep recommends you talk to your child an explain the profile is theirs and not to change it or to switch accounts or to change the account settings. Ok, I trust my daughter, but working in IT security for many years, this is such a simple fix instead of relying on the honor system, Disney should be embarrassed!! Was this a high school computer science project that ran out of time?
Annoying glitches

I downloaded mandalorian and have been watching it throughout my day, and I’ve been experiencing bug after bug. The most common bug is that while watching the show, the video will randomly stop while the audio continues. I try skipping it back, skipping it forward and coming back to where I was, closing the app and coming back to the place I was, and the video will still be paused. Keep in mind these episodes are DOWNLOADED. The most annoying glitch I’ve faced involved halfway through an episode, the credits started showing, and when I skip past the credits the episode closes out about 20 minutes in, far from the end. Skipping it back all the way only brings it however far back the credits ended. For example, if the glitch happens and the credits end at 20:56, when I skip it back all the way it only skips back to 20:56 from the end, even when the episode timer shows 00:00. It’s super frustrating, and closing the app doesn’t fix these glitches. Just waiting around fixes these but I really don’t wanna stop and wait 10 times an episode for something I downloaded.

I love Disney+ but although there are many favorite movies and show there is still one show that is not on there that I was looking forward to the most when I downloaded Disney+ which is A.N.T Farm. If you can that show it would be great, thank you.

This app freezes way too much!!! Honestly, if I choose to watch a movie, I know it’s gonna freeze at least 3-4 times. Now I just revert back to always using Netflix only because I don’t wanna deal with the freezing.

Disappointing. There are so many little things that other platforms have improved on over the years, how did Disney not check out the competition and get a jump start. The app is overly simple with very little ability to navigate. You constantly have to navigate back the the home screen and then step by step to your destination. The ‘continue watching’ list (in my opinion the most important space in a streaming app) tends to not show up; and when it does you have no ability to open the show’s page (thus allowing for episode selection). There is no skip to next episode button. No episode selection while in video. No tracker to show what you’ve previously watched (to know what episode your on). And difficult navigation to your own watchlist. The app is great for browsing and that’s about it, but since most people have a good understanding of what Disney has to offer this isn’t all that important. I love having access to all this content but that’s not what Disney+ is, it’s an experience and it’s lacking.

So far I love the Disney+ app. There are great movie choices and the app is very easy to use. My only suggestion would be that there needs to be more movies with audio description. I got Disney+ specifically so a blind family member could listen to movies. However, many of the movies he would like to listen to do not have audio description.

I like the app and the content, but it seems as though it only works on the devices it's downloaded on. We use our phones for our Wi-Fi and it uses way less data if we download first and then play rather than steaming everything. But, on the app on the AppleTV there is not an option to download first and if we download them on our phone or tablets first and then try to use airplay, it stops the movie and says it has encountered a problem. It is a brand new AppleTV, so it is not an issue with it being an older generation AppleTV.

The content is good but I am very disappointed that I cannot watch on anything but my iPhone. I use an apple hdmi adapter to watch all other streaming networks on my tv but this one is block. This makes the app very difficult for my family to use. Honestly we don’t use it at all because of this issue.

I downloaded Disney Plus because i've heard good and excellent review about this app but then Disney Plus denied my card and said it's from another country even though my card is a Visa card... Disney plus should accept different countries Visa card because i really want to access in the app and use Disney Plus ! I'm really sad and upset :(

The app let me make an account and it worked perfectly fine the first day. But now it won’t work at all. I’ve restarted my phone. Changed between WiFi and data. Uninstalled the app. Logged out. But I keep getting the message that it’s having trouble connecting to my account.

It never saves we’re i leave off on a show I could be on season three of something then when I put it back on it plays season one and the first episode it makes no sense or I’ll watch half of something turn it off and then when I’m not busy I’ll put it on and it won’t even show on recently watched them when I find it it plays from the beginning instead of we’re I left off it is so annoying

DO NOT PASS THIS CHANCE!!! This is the best tv app ever made!!! Recommend for legit anyone! I never can stop watching the simpsons or mandalorian, this is so addicting. The only problem I have is I was wondering if there could be a fix to pausing and playing videos. It lags and if I try to press pause and start really fast it just has to load for the rest of the episode, and I’d ask that the movie Enchanted to be added to DisneyPlus. U been using Disney+ since I got it Downloaded on November 12, 2019, and it’s a great app for watching old shows that Netflix had before. There are only two things I found that maybe be use in a future update(if you still continue following peoples complains.) 1, for downloads, I think people would be most impressed if there was a filter setting in the download section. 2, I was a little disappointed when I couldn’t find two movies me and my sister’s like, and that is “Enchanted,” and “Anastasia.”(if you can tell me when they come out on Disney+. That said, this app is “Better than Netflix,” and I hope you will work one a update soon. :)

I loved the app when it first came out but for the past two weeks now I haven’t not been able to use the app on my Xbox or my phone because it won’t work with the internet. The only time the app works on my phone is when my internet is turned off on my phone and I use my data to watch it but that doesn’t fix the app not working on my Xbox. Would be nice if this was fixed because now I’ve been paying for an app that hasn’t worked in two weeks. But it is nice when the app actually works

I love the app. But they really need to add an option to end sessions. Gave my password to my brother but I want to option to log him out when I want to (like how Netflix does it). Also when I change my password, IT DOES NOT LOG OUT OTHER DEVICES!! Changed my password on my account and my brother is still logged on. NEEDS THD OPTION TO LOG SOMEONE PUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER CHANGING PASSWORD! Lots of security issues with the app that need to be fixed overall. But it’s a great app. JUST ADD THD OPTIONS TO TERMINATE SESSIONS, LOG OUT OTHER DEVICES, AND LOG PEOPLE OUT AFTER CHANGING PASSWORD!

I feel the 1 week trial should be 30 days. Netflix, Hulu gives its users at least a month to get a feel of the apps content. Another thing—why isn’t Disney+ available on ALL Smart TVS? It’s unfair if you have a samsung tv 2015 model and you can’t even find it on the AppStore. I want to be able to watch Disney+ on my TV too!

This is an amazing app, but i seem to be having an issue with downloading series/movies, the app will say it is downloaded, but it will only let me play half of the episode/movie, or it won’t let me play it at all.

This is the worst streaming service, period. No other service; Netflix, amazon, crunchy roll, or any minor third party; when you download something it corrupts 100 percent. Close your iPad while watching offline, open it ten minutes later, ERROR. This service is worse than streaming apps you haven’t heard of. Complete failure in providing any payable service. If you’re not getting it for free you’re a fool.

So Im love with the app it has all my old shows an movies that don’t come on tv anymore I absolutely love it but I have one problem it’s the watchlist I’ve added a bunch of movies to it but it’s only showing me maybe 20 movies when Ik I have added way more than that I like to just browse threw my list to see what I want to watch not try to remember the name of the movie if this could be fixed this would be tremendously appreciated an I would highly recommend this app to anyone who loves all things Disney

Here are my issues with Disney+ The main screen: The main screen is a series’s of rows of thumbnails, just like Netflix’s setup... but there is barely anything there. What I mean is, you scroll through about ten or so titles in each category which is in reality a tiny fraction of what’s actually available. So, in order to find something to watch you have to think about a title you’re looking for and search for it in the search bar. What I found even dumber was that the same thing is true in the more specific “categories” sections. For example... you can visit the Star Wars category and scroll through all day long and NEVER find “The Last Jedi” but it’s totally available, you have to search for it though. Dumb. So dumb. Subtitles: My partner is hearing impaired and we watch tv with subtitles on 100% of the time. The subtitles on Disney+ across all of the platform always show up about 6 seconds too early, causing confusion about who is speaking on screen. Loading: There is always loading problems. Skipping, loading, restarting when the scene finally loads up... really annoying. I actually turned off the app and decided to watch Avengers:Endgame on a different platform. One that doesn’t have loading issues. All in all I’m not impressed. But I paid for the year so I guess I’ll tune in again when the new Marvel TV shows come out in the spring, binge those, and cancel.

So I have one question and complaint. so why isn’t ant farm one of the best Disney shows ever to exist not on here???like that was most kids child hood. That show was the best and I expect the app to have like it says all the Disney movies and shows yet Netflix,Hulu,sling,and prime don’t have ant farm so I go to the Disney app thinking it has everything and what don’t you have ant farm and it’s not like a show that had one season and wasn’t a hit so if you would PLEASE CONSIDER adding a few more titles ant farm being included sorry but I gave up on punctuation ... otherwise the app is good 👍🏽

The movie/tv content is fantastic. However someone hacked my account and there’s stuff i never watched and no one else but my wife uses it and she uses her profile and she said there’s shows she never watched showing up. There’s no way to force logout, also there’s some tv shows I tried to watch but did not like and it stays on continue watching and I can’t remove it. There should be a option to remove things from watch history or remove shows you don’t want to keep watching or a option to remove from continue watching. Sometimes when you click add to watchlist it will show a check mark and then when you want to remove it from watch list the check mark is gone and reclicking and unclicking it does not remove films from watch list. Other than that once all this is worked out it’ll be a great contender.

The app has a long way to go, there are multiple bugs, the worst of which is downloaded content not showing inside the app, but clearly present in the iPhone’s storage space breakdown.

I am a college student and subscribed to Disney plus the same day that it came out. I really enjoyed all of the shows and great Disney movies that came with the subscription. Unfortunately several weeks later the service suddenly stopped working on the WiFi network of my college campus. The problem has nothing to do with our WiFi, everything else works fine. After contacting Disney plus about the issue they said that our network was whitelisted for some reason and that issue would be resolved within 1-2 business days. Well the issue wasn’t resolved and despite contacting them several more times it is still not fixed. Our campus IT department has now contacted them and we are told the issue will be fixed in 24-48 hour, but of course still isn’t fixed. It has been a week now of no service, and still nobody on our campus can use Disney plus, so the dozens, if not hundreds of students at my school who subscribed haven’t been able to watch here for a week. As far I’m concerned Disney owes everyone at my college a refund. Throughout this whole process they have been very evasive about the issue, and while they’ve continued to assure us it will be fixed, I still can’t access the service that I payed for. You would think that the largest entertainment conglomerate in the world wouldn’t take a week to fix an issue that’s affecting so many customers, but clearly they can’t be bothered. They call it Disney magic, but as far as I’m concerned it’s just a Disney rip-off.

I can’t log into any of my devices. I was logged in on my phone but then the app decided to log me out. Now I can’t log in. So I ended up canceling my subscription (thank god I can do that thru apple)

Content is great and app is easy to use. App regularly freezes Apple TV 4K. We have to power off and power on Apple TV. Hope Disney updates app soon to fix freezes.

I love watching all the movies but there are some shows that aren’t on Disney plus like Mighty Med, and Maleficent, and Logan. Mighty Med was a all time favorite of mine and I’m disappointed that the show was not on Disney plus. All the complaints aside this app is pretty good.

This would totally be a five-star review if the app didn’t crash every few minutes while trying to watch ANY movie. There is serious bug issues that need to be fixed and the app needs updating. Half the time we can’t get past the Disney logo at the start of a movie before we get another “Oops” message.😡 Coming from a company of Disney’s size and scope, not to mention reputation, I expected better.

Amazing library however loads of connection issues. Constantly having the movie/show I’m watching freeze and say “uh oh a problem has occurred”. Restart the app and try again only to find out it’s going to do it again.

So I’ve been using Disney+ since it launched & it’s great!! The only real issue I have is that not everything I added to my watchlist appears on it. There’s several shows & movies that I added and it shows they were added, but they don’t show up in my watchlist. I even tried deleting everything out of my watchlist and starting it from scratch. But no, that didn’t fix the problem. It’s just kind of frustrating when you go to look for something you added to your watchlist and it’s not there.

The app supposedly doesn’t work on WiFi which seems like a basic issue that needs to be fixed quick. Also doesn’t have many features that Netflix and Hulu have to resume videos and a better watchlist. It needs some work...

So Im using the app for a while and I love it, but if I pause and exit out and try to go back in to where I left off it makes me go back to the start of the movie. I really hope this gets fixed and some of the disney tv shows are out of order like Phineas and Ferb. But overall I love it

DOES NOT WORK WITH CHROME CAST! First question I asked was is it compatible with chrome cast TVs? Everything said yes, signed myself up to find out the app doesn’t even connect! Googled how to troubleshoot, even contacted google to make sure their side was running smoothly. All I can find as far as help is, “delete the app and reinstall” DOESN'T WORK, “send troubleshoot code to google” GOOGLE SAYS ITS DISNEY, “update all apps used for streaming” EVERYTHING BUT DISNEY RUNS JUST FINE!!! Seems as though Disney would rather rack up subscriptions than fix the issues for the ones they already have!! FIX THIS!

I want to give 5 stars but my issue is my daughter watches Disney+ on the iPad in the car but it doesn’t continue playing the next episodes. I’ve tried going in setting to change it but there is no such thing. So if I don’t have a passenger to push play for next episode she’s stuck watching nothing. Also I apple air play it to my TVs and have the same issues. I also hate that if I want to look for other things in the app. The show that I’m air playing stops. Other then that I’m in love with this app. My favorite is the The Imagineering Story. Sooooooo good.

This app is very good and has a lot of Disney classics that I love. They are just missing some shows that I LOVE A.n.t farm, dog with a blog, I didn’t do it, etc. Also a problem I have had with the app is there is no continue watching section which I find very Anyoing, especially when you are watching a series. So I hope Disney can update the app and put more shows out there and a continue watching section.

Can you add movies that just came out like....descendants 3 and everything new that just came out but obviously if there out of the movie theaters. So can you please add my suggestion? PLEASE fix the Roku Disney app for poor connections. Disney+ buffers every 45 seconds and I don’t have this issue with my Netflix app so there must be something that Netflix is doing to help us folks with slow connections.

Love this app I like how it has all the old original movies I also like how any age group can watch and it still be good. I just wish it had more of the remakes and they don’t really update the page when you get on the the app which I wish they did so you can see more movie and show suggestions. I also wish that they didn’t schedule the new movies to get added on in 2 years or in a year. They did a really good job making the app itself I just wish they put more movies on sooner and put a page of all the movies being added from closest to furthest away. The app is good for all age groups and is enjoyably for the whole family.

I’ve been using the Disney plus app ever since the app came out (3 wks), and I’ve been having one issue after another. The app is a very amazing app with loads of Disney favourites and classics for the whole family to enjoy, from my childhood and I have had a great experience with using it. But, there have been a few bumps in the road when it came to me using the app on my PS4 console. I’ll experience problems such as; when I go to rewind something, the movie/show I’m watching will back out and show what will play next. This will not happen when i go to dast forward - only when I go to rewind something. I’ve also noticed very recently that when I add things to my watch list — what ever’s on the bottom will disappear and will no longer be accessable to me. Meaning, I’ll still be able to watch it, but it will no longer be in my Watchlist and this upsets me a lot. I am very happy that I now have something other than and better than Netflix. My only issue is the rewind feature (mainly on my game console) and the Watchlist adding ability. Aside from all the issues and technical difficulties I&#39;ve been facing, the app is very beautiful - bright, colourful, great movies and shows, huge variety of content for the entire family and even the price is affordable and to my liking. I do highly recommend this app to all who enjoys Disney. Just make sure to be aware of the problems I&#39;ve faced I&#39;ve you decide to use it on your video game console or even your television.

I love the content on Disney+ overall, and it’s so amazing to have all of the classic content I grew up with at my fingertips. Much of the content is great and can be watched over and over again, with tons of hours of streaming available for any major Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, or National Geographic fan. With that being said, the app is in need of some major updates. The first and most glaring issue is the “Continue Watching” section or “Watch Again” functionality. With Disney, much of the content is self explanatory and is simple to find because we know what it is called. But for the other stuff, such as National Geographic, it can be hard to identify what I watched already or what I need to continue. Please add this function as soon as possible! Another issue is the inability to view show or movies synopsis without clicking into the show on Apple TV. For instance, when you pull up Gordon Ramsay Uncharted on the Apple TV app, you can mouse over it and get a picture of Gordon Ramsay standing in front of an ocean front. The problem is, what is the show about? Is Gordon Ramsay going to chart the ocean? Is he going to cook in uncharted territories? Will he take the ocean? Who knows! With much of the content, this is easily seen past because the content is already familiar, but with new content and more things being added I think this is a definite need to make selecting a show more interesting and simple.

Overall I like Disney+. I think it is a great idea and it is wonderful to have all the movies in one place. As much as I love it, I would only give this app a 4 out of 5 star review because of a few things I have come across when having this app for a week or so now. My first thing I would point out is the no “Continue watching” bar. This is a common thing that people have pointed it to me and I have realized is a inconvenience as well. I don’t like how you have to go back and find what you were watching to continue watching it (if I even remember what I was watching). My next thing that I have found is that the movie may seem that it is on the platform but is not actually. I have realized this with some of the Marvel movies. I was looking forward to watching all of them in chronological order. As I was saving them to my “watch later” bar, I relived that even though it may seem that they are on the platform they may not come on till later in the year. I was disappointed as why would they seem like they have it on and it is not actually there. My suggestion is to have a place where all the movies or shows that are coming soon are and they are separated from the movies and shows are that are already on the platform. These are a few of my suggestions that I would greatly appreciate were reviewed.

I love how they have ALL the Disney Chanel Originals which was the biggest thing I was wanting. I’ve only been exploring for a little while but it has sooo much. I am frustrated with not having a “currently watching” list though, that is a pretty necessary thing when I stop watching for a bit I don’t want to have to re-search for my show. That is the only reason it is not 5 stars. One last thing is I’ve read that some older movies may be censored due to racial or ethnic jokes/slurs or whatever. I really hope they DO NOT do this because that is not only changing beloved movies and shows it is an attempt to alter history. Whether it is approved of or not in today’s society it is a fact that people thought differently in former years and it shows in how they made everything from film to art to books. If there is concern on how it will affect today’s children then it should be seen as a conversation point not something to remove, and if it offends adults then they have the right not to watch it same as we all do for anything. If censoring must be done then make it optional so that those who want to watch the shows in their entirety can freely do so. Having a commentary or intro series for each explaining the societal and cultural environment of the time would be welcome

Addendum: They added a continue watching and a recommended for you. Increased to 4 stars, now just waiting for new content to see how it goes. I got this app for the bew star wars stuff coming out which is awesome. And it has things from the vault, old cartoons. It has sub sections: star wars/disney/marvel etc. that being said. Theirs things to work on. Theirs no continue watching, you need to either add it to your current watch to the watchlist or search every time. And it wont always remember where you left off especially for shows itll just replay ep 1 however i havent had this issue with movies, it remembers my place most times. It freezes often requiring you to close and reopen the app(ps4) havent had freeze issues on tablet. Itll also freeze and then go back a minute replaying things as it tries to correct itself. The current library is very limited to older disney movies. As i believe other streaming oroviders have current contracts for certain movies they prolly wont be able to add them to disney+ till other hulu/netflix movies are done with their contracts example is a limited marvel movie selection. They have plans to add more shows/movies so i think itll be like netflix where they add and remove shows and movies. When its less buggy I’ll prolly give it 4-5 stars at that time.

I LOVE this app and have really enjoyed introducing my kiddos to all of the classics! I feel like I am a kid again and am in 7th heaven when I come home and ALL of the Disney movies are just waiting for me! My kids love it and everyone has a new favorite show. All of our other streaming services have officially been forgotten so thank you Disney for saving my hard earned money and for putting all of the most amazing movies in one place!! Please do not remove older shows due to older views and fear of offending people. I love all Disney movies and appreciate them for what they were and acknowledge that views have drastically changed over the decades. Some items may be offensive, even to me as a African American woman but as so many other have pointed out these are better used as talking points for our children. We cannot alway run from the offensive history that we have, it happened, and it is better to learn from it than pretend like it has always been perfect (which it is far from perfect today). Also, I really hope we can an area that shows what we are “currently watching” and when I open up the movie it could have the bar that shows how much was completed. I know we have a “watchlist” but it doesn’t help having to search each time.

I use Disney plus all the time to watch all of my favorite Disney shows and movies. There are a lot of problems that will HAVE to be figured out! But the one that upsets me the most, actually two or more: one; if I switch devices it will often forget where I was in an episode and restart it from the beginning forcing me to skip to where I left off. Also unlike a lot of other streaming platforms, there is no PROGRESS BAR per episode, to show how far you have watched through an episode. If you open the show it will not automatically place you in the season you are watching, you have to go and choose season and scroll to the correct one. On the mobile app there is no way to view episodes if you click on the resume watching box, unlike a lot of other platforms! My mobile device will also often not automatically play the next episode, when I was a kid I dreamed of the day it would automatically play the next episode and guess what everyone else has figured it out! I like the blue circle around the play button about 5 seconds, but it is often not there! So frustrating! I like the idea and content but the curtain should have been held as we say in show business, before release!

Here is the thing, I love Disney, my family loves Disney. Everyone young and old loves Disney. I think it’s an amazing app, with some even better features, and yes it has a bunch of glitches (which I’m not stressing about because in time those would be fixed), there are some things missing, (again could be fixed in the future, maybe something’s just need to be developed better, whatever the case may be). Those things don’t bother me. This is what I don’t like...,, ...The majority of the people who’ll be using this app are people who aren’t tech savvy or children. They aren’t always using the most up to date device or software, some children that are using Disney plus (which o can attest to) are children using gen 3 iPads. Or iPhone 4s. Things that are Easy in the hands of children. But unfortunately the app doesn’t support those devices, as they are too old for use. It would be fantastic if it was, I think they would have a lot more viewership but at this rate it’s very hard to use such a wonderful app on such an old device. I mean Netflix does work on things that old. Disney please consider this. Not everyone can or will upgrade a child’s device just so they can watch Disney movies.

Just kidding.. but really Disney+ may be a competitor to Netflix but since I started my free trial &amp; now Verizon promotion subscription - my family &amp; I have been watching Disney+ non-stop. Of course being that this is a new app there are some small bugs but nothing that isn’t going to deter a Disney fan from loving this app anyway! Some of the movies listed aren’t available until certain dates like January 1, 2020 or sometime in April but it’s not all of the movies and I think for the most part most the hit movies are available to watch. It would be nice to have an open platform with all the movies available but you know what? For only $6.99 a month you can’t beat that. Thank you Disney for being a millennial-friendly subscription - all your movies especially Pixar have grown with my generation in mind. We appreciate you! If you have a Verizon unlimited plan definitely enroll in the Disney+ promotion it is so worth it not only for those of you who have children but sometimes us adults need some Disney magic in our lives as well - pretty sure Walt Disney himself said something of that sort at one point. Don’t come for me if he didn’t but I’m pretty sure he did :)

Overall I love Disney plus. There are so many shows/movies to select from that it’s hard for a Disney lover to decide where to start. Since today was launch day I know there will be some kinks that need to be worked out. I just wanted to list some issues or recommendations that could/should possibly be addressed in a future update. I saw one review mention that stuff they were adding to their watchlist wasn’t saving. I ran into that same issue. Another issue I ran into was my auto play wasn’t working. I have that setting turned on but when watching a series it does not automatically play the next episode. I also noticed that an episode was missing from season 1 of the little mermaid series. My recommendations for possible updates are: (1) add a “continue watching” section that shows what I was last watching and didn’t finish. (2)when watching a series have the episodes that users have watched marked in some way that shows they’ve been watched. Currently having to remember what episode I left off on. (3) maybe add a DCOM section so all those are in one place. Overall, I love Disney+ and I’m so excited to keep streaming all my Disney favorites

The app is perfect, but these crazy reviewers are the boneheads ..look people right now there is no feature of “what I watched last “ or history the app would slow down you want that go back to netflix and stay there. Just because you can add 7 people to your account is does not always mean you should. You really trust those 7 people with your account info? Remember only 4 streams allowed and You have should known that you have to have control over these devices. If your password gets changed it will be your fault deal with it. Then you free phone deal will not matter at all. The movies could and will edited if Disney sees fit you should have know this. 4.3 ? No no no 5.5 and nothing else . The app engine is pure and clean cues up easy , logo guides are clear to understand and easy find. Pick Your items then play them from the largest Disney library of gems no worries 🎥🎧🎬 Before anymore stupid comments or ideas come to past here read FQA page please! To anyone else read the fine print know what you paying for people. This pure Disney can not get any better than that nuff said . 🇬🇧🎸🔥

I absolutely love Disney+ it has brought me back to my childhood and that’s a wonderful thing to give to the world right now. All the Disney channel originals i could never find anywhere else is all right here and it makes my heart so full of happiness and nostalgia. But there’s a few issues as others have said. First, why does it have the second movie and not the first one for some titles not all but I have been noticing it with a few movies. Like with National Treasure for example, the first one’s not coming out till April 2020 what was the thought process there?! Second, when you go to rewind a movie with the touch screen in your phone it’s not accurate at all. I’ll go to a certain time take my finger off gently i might add and then it either jumps way ahead or behind of what I actually chose. Third, like others said the continued watching section is terrible why do i have to go back and search for where i was on some movies I’ve never seen, that’s just asking for spoilers just like the rewinding situation. I think with some adjustments you have yourself a truly fantastic app and a gift to the world. Thank you. 🤍

It’s cool that it has older tv shows that I grew up watching, no doubt I love that!, however it doesn’t resume my tv shows, I often times have to look for the exact one I left off at. It’s really annoying. (Especially when you have a crying child!) It also needs the “you just watched this” feature right up front so I don’t have to go searching for it. When I get on to Disney plus it’s always the same movies.. and I’m not interested in those. I want to see only what I’m interested in. That’s the reason why I bought it. Another feature it needs is. “Because you watched this, we suggest you watch that” I’m getting bored of the same things, nothing new is on there. Well not that I know of.... another suggestion that you also separate the “coming soon” movies from the other ones. People can get excited about the up coming year, instead of being supper bummed when they see they have to wait till the month of November in the year 2020 to see the movie or tv shows. I was really upset when I realized I couldn’t watch what I wanted till next Christmas. I’m not to excited about this any more. It’s not a good set up. I feel i was conned out of my money. I bought the year subscription and I wish I hadn’t.

So our family of Disney-lovers find Disney+ to be everything we wanted it to be! Can’t wait for more of the original content to be released, also! I just have a minor suggestion for a future update that would make things a lot easier for us (and I’m sure others). Our son LOVES to watch the Mickey &amp; Friends shorts. So much so, that we re-watch them constantly. However, after an episode is over and it’s continued to auto-play, if we go back to a previously played episode, it stars playing at the credits. There is no “play from the beginning button”. That leaves me scrambling to manually hold down the rewind button. Now it’s not so bad to have to rewind something, but the real problem is once that episode that I rewound is over, it will auto play the next episode and (because it was previously viewed) starts playing that from the credits again! It’s extremely frustrating considering the episodes are only 3-4 minutes long. On the Disney Now app, if the episodes were played to completion, any rewatches go back to the beginning. PLEASE MAKE THIS A FUTURE UPDATE! I fear my sanity and productivity are in jeopardy until this is fixed.
Great Service, Missing One Key Feature

My wife and kids and I love the service so far! There’s tons of stuff for everyone to watch and we’re enjoying showing them the classic movies we watched as kids. The app works quite much better now that they’ve squashed some bugs and added the all important continue watching feature. The app is still not perfect however. After using the app more, I’ve noticed some peculiarities that don’t make much sense. The first is that when someone watches something on their profile, it will often show up on the continue watching list on my profile even though I’ve never watched that show on my profile. This happens quite often with my son’s episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The other weird thing I’ve run into is that Moana can not be found on a child’s profile. This means my 5 year old who loves Moana must have an adult account that is more difficult for her to navigate in order to watch her favorite movie on the service. Overall, we’re very happy both with the service and the app. Once a few minor tweaks are made, I think Disney+ will be able to play ball with the big dogs.

I love this app and have had it for a little while now. All my favorite Disney channel original movies in one place, talk about a childhood dream come true! The only issue I have had that doesn’t seem to have been addressed in the update, is that my watchlist isn’t working right. Currently, it’s missing some shows and movies that I can look up and see that I’ve added to my watchlist already, though it’s not showing up when I open the watchlist. The watchlist is also duplicating the items that do show up on the list. I’m not sure if this is connected to the other problem I noted above or if it is a completely different issue. Obviously, I still love the app and have even recommended it to a few people. I just wanted to mention this issue that I am having as the other reviews I have read didn’t seem to mention this. I hope this is an easy fix, as I do think this app is great. Disney as a company is amazing! I am so grateful that I can watch all the movies and shows I love that are more recent, while also having the option to revisit some old favorites that I grew up watching (and loving).

Alright, so this is going to be short and sweet. Disney plus is amazing, I use it all the time to watch my favorite movies, and recently I’ve been binge watching the marvel movies. It works out pretty well for me. New episodes come out within a few days (which is pretty awesome), you get to watch anything owned by Disney, and it’s just awesome. (Especially The Mandalorian) But there is one thing that could make it better, and I’ve seen other people make this suggestion too. Disney plus should definitely have a “currently watching” section. It’s the one thing left that I need. Otherwise I have to look up the movie that I’m watching, find the right one, and hope it starts off where I ended. And it does, but I think it’d take a little less time and effort if you put a currently watching section right on the top bar of your home screen. That way I can click the app, scroll down a tiny, tiny little bit, and click the movie or show that I’m watching. So yeah, my suggestion (which you should totally add) would be a currently watching section. Otherwise, Disney plus is basically perfect for me.

Okay to start off I’ve never wanted to make a review of anything but this is something I wanna talk about! When they brought this up I was like it’s not like they’ll have Snow White or Crash and Bernstein! But when got the app this morning...🤯! SOMUCH CONTENT! Basically my whole childhood, my siblings childhood, my parents childhood, my Grandparents childhood, and Even my great grandparents childhood! I mean Starting off with Disney! So many TV Shows I can’t find anywhere! So many movies! So many series! And way to many things to even count! Marvel has the OG X-Men y’all! I mean I’m not even kidding! We have some Star Wars! With CLONE WARS!!!!!! And they got some FOX OG’S! Including AVATAR,HOME ALONE, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, THE SIMPSONS, THE SOUND OF MUSIC AND MORE!!!! Take my advice and get it plz y’all! If you don’t like these and like documentaries😒... they got those too with... National Geographic? I’m being honest I don’t really like Nat Geo but HEY THEY STILL GOT IT! But being honest there is some technical difficulties Disney is having so if it says “No Connection” just exit and re-enter it’s no big deal! So take my advise and get this!

The service is off the a great start and I have no doubt that Disney will continue to add more movies, shows, and shorts as it continues. However, while there is a lot of stuff in the service at launch, much of it feels like filler material and some of the things not included can felt. Such as not a single Indiana Jones movie, or the fact that Disney now owns all of Fox’s catalog but only include the Simpsons and avatar. No alien or fox X-men movie? I know these will probably be added later on but I feel like a streaming service that wants to truly compete with other platforms like Netflix should have many of these films already included to form an unbeatable backbone and then continue to support the platform with original content and other new releases after their run in movie theaters. Otherwise you get what we have now, which is a service that has a couple of main classics here and there, and a few originals, but is mostly made up of Disney channel original content and lots of live action D-list filler movies that only someone who grew up with would enjoy watching for nostalgic reasons.

I have an account and like I didn’t want to be selfish so I let my friends come on it since you can add up to 7 people. The thing is, what if one day I decided I don’t want them on it anymore but they refuse to leave. I can’t do anything abt it except cancel the subscription but then everyone else would be effected by just one person . The owner should be able to have more control. Like the owner can do stuff with other profiles and manage stuff more and ppl who aren’t the owner of it shouldn’t be able to like change or go on other ppls profile unless allowed or something. Like you can go on the owners profile even if your not the owner. The last thing is, I trust my friends so I gave them the password to it so they can login but what if for some reason(I doubt the ppl that are on my account would do this bc they are my closest friends) but one day they could just decided to change the password because even if your not the owner of the account, you can still change the password which isn’t right. But that’s all I have to say

Getting two stars because of this app missing the simplest streaming features out there across all devices. Not being able to easily resume a movie/show gets beyond irritating. Especially when they release a resume feature couple weeks after launch only to find out it’s broken, you have to manually search through the app each time to find what you were watching; find it, hit resume and it simply restarts. Thought it was my device messing up, but same happens on mobile, pc, fire stick and playstation. Don’t understand how such a big company that claims to be the new kings of streaming can’t even manage to have the simplest features work. Playbacks constantly skip where the video freezes and the audio continues. This can last 5-10 seconds, goes in a loading loop and then rewinds back to the spot before it hit the video freeze. This has also been happening since launch and happens quite often. Overall it’s a pretty crappy app that was rushed and never optimized for common use. Great selection but unless you want to deal with a headache trying to watch what you want, i’d wait till Disney decides to fix this app as it feels like a Beta testing.

Let me start like so many reviews by saying that the amount of content is out of this world. I will just say I look forward to updates on this app. 1.) I would like a way to mark what episodes I’ve watched already in a series. My memory isn’t good enough to do this for long seeing as my mind is filled with the needs of my cats. 2.) I would like a “last watched” section to easily remind me what I was watching before my cats got into a major fight and I went running from my comfy chair to save my poor fat cat from her distress inflicted by my sleek sporty male cat. 3.) When my lap is being occupied by a sleeping cat, I don’t often have hands to touch my phone between episodes and since the auto play option isn’t working between episodes, poor fat cat is having to move once again. While the app is working well for my cat’s diet and fitness plan, I think these slight modifications would make it more cat lady friendly. And yes, if you did read this all the way through, the first thing we watched was Aristocats.

Your content is there. The app needs work. Profiles need personalization or more than just having a watchlist. For example, there’s no “continue watching” section so hope you know where to find whatever it is you were watching. Also, you can something to your watchlist. Finish it, but without knowing how to manipulate the bugs, remove it from your watchlist. Strolling through all the features, you can click on a show, and even if it’s in your watchlist, it won’t show that it’s in your watchlist, leaving you to believe programs you add to your watchlist aren’t actually there. In regards to manipulating the system to take something off of your watchlist, you have to click add to watchlist to ADD it again, then click it again to remove it. That seems to be the only way to remove a show from your watchlist. And this is a problem on ALL my devices not just mobile devices. This includes the Apple TV, and the firestick app. Disney, y’all are great but with so much content on this service, a person needs a better way to keep track of what’s in their watchlist and what they’ve been watching. Please correct this.

I hate to sound like I’m parroting other reviews, but... I honestly can’t think of another word to describe Disney+ aside from fantastic. From some of the earliest classics that put the name “Walt Disney” on the map, to the legendary pictures that make up the face of the studio and the stream of new films, shows, and other projects, there’s something on here for almost everyone. I understand that at the time of this review, the service is just over a week old, but if there is at least one thing I would like to add to Disney+, it would be the addition of a section dedicated to some of the content that Disney has rights to (and might add to the service) that are geared towards more mature audiences, such as “The X-Files,” “Deadpool,” and other such properties or materials that might not be suitable for younger audiences (in case such a proposition isn’t already in effect). Aside from that suggestion, this is definitely a streaming platform for fans of Disney and beyond.
Great content, series pages need work

The amount and quality of the content here is great. However the way older TV series are being handled is inconsistent and pretty rough. Some pre-HD shows are presented in their original 4:3 aspect ratio and look fine, but others for some reason are zoomed in, stretching the image and cropping the top and bottom of the screen which looks terrible, and there is no option to switch. Additionally, nearly all the shows I browsed had every episode listed under one season, which means you can’t look for episodes by season and have to scroll right through dozens of episodes to find what you want. Some episodes are mistitled or misnumbered, meaning they auto play out of the intended viewing order. And if you plan on watching a whole series, it doesn’t appear to save your spot so you have to again scroll through the 50-80 episodes of “season 1” to find where you left off. Hopefully these issues will be addressed soon because the rest of the platform seems great and I am very excited for how much content is available to stream for the first time ever thanks to this platform.

I absolutely love having all the movies in one place. The movies from the vault are such a blessing and it’s like I’m reliving my childhood again but the app itself could use a bit of improvement. I love how they offer a variety of section to search in and maybe find a diamond in the rough to watch but then when you do and suddenly get distracted, you lose your movie and oops! You forgot what it was called!! So I definitely definitely think it needs a “continue watching” section. Also I heard about some of the older classics being ban being of the culture it depicts... I think this is not smart at all and hope it does NOT happen. Yes those movies depict a culture of a time that is no longer relevant, but it’s still history. What’s the good in censoring history when it’s a fact that it happened? Those movies are just what they are, classic. Definitely, most definitely, should not be put back away. Over all love the app but maybe they could make some improvements!

This app has all the old and new Disney including all the other major companies like Marvel and Star Wars. It didn’t have new releases but I will hope that they will be available here before release on Red box and other sites after they leave the box office. The reason I am giving three stars is there needs to be improvements made and this is a new app. There is no place to stop and save in the middle of shows and movies. It also does not tell you what you have already watched, so it is hard to pick up unless you remember yourself. I also wish they had a “currently watching” tab included with the “my watchlist” just to make the app easier to navigate. That being said I have always loved Disney and this app is a great new way to rewatch all of my older favorites that I didn’t have easier access to before this platform. Continue improving on this app Disney and there will have more people subscribed than it already does now. I recommend this product highly as it is reasonably priced as well for the amount of content you are given, and also has multiple profile options.

I am not giving 5 stars for a couple of reasons... First, there isn’t a “recently watched” or “continue watching” area in the home screen. Every time I want to continue watching where I left off, I have to go to my profile and then to my watch list and select from there, which brings me to my second issue. If you are watching a tv series, you select the series you’re watching from your watch list, then you have to scroll down past each episode and hopefully remember which episode you’ve left off on, because if you just click the play button at the top without going to the actual episode, it starts at the very first episode and very first season. Also, unlike Netflix, if you’ve watched an episode, it doesn’t show you in some way (a progress bar or check mark) that you’ve already seen that episode. Other than those 2 things, so far I am enjoying Disney+! I love Disney, and I am curious and excited to check out the “through the years” of Mickey Mouse!

Let me start off by saying this is truly is a beautiful app, and well worth the wait for the sheer amount of titles that Disney has graced us with. That being said, the initial glitches and hiccups were definitely to be expected with the overwhelming number of first-time users. However, the app is still very well designed and all encompassing, while still leaving plenty of room for future growth. I would like to see a “Continue Watching” section (emulating similar streaming apps) as I find it time-consuming to be continuously searching for what I was watching rather than having it conveniently placed on top of the list at launch. The saving grace to this minor flaw is that the app does allow for auto play, so you don’t have to go back and fast-forward to where you were previously watching. In summary, Disney + is highly anticipated app that lives up to most expectations, and can be easily improved with consumer feedback within the coming months.

Overall the content is great! There are some concerns about the app though that I hope gets fixed. Here are a few: 1) there needs to be a continue watching section so you don’t have to re-search the movie or show you were watching and have to remember which episode you were on, 2) if you’ve added something to your watchlist it should show that if you click on it again and should have a way to remove it from the list after watching, and 3) the “recommended for you” category doesn’t seem to change and is showing the same stuff even after watching multiple things so I do not believe it takes into consideration what you seem interested in. All of these also make it seem useless to have separate profiles if a single person’s specific shows are not going to show up as continue watching or recommended. Again love that I have all of this Disney content now, but would also love to see improvement in the app itself!

The content is great. The UI is relatively friendly on both IOS and AppleTV. However, why is there not an option to resume play or to start over when you pick a movie? Having a young child we watch the same movies. Over. And over. Being able to restart from the beginning for the 90th viewing of Little Mermaid would be nice to be done at the touch of a button instead of having to pause and rewind. Also, why no chapter skip/chapter select feature to skip automatically to that one scene that the kids just have to watch repeatedly? It feels like I’m reliving my childhood not only in movies that are being viewed but also in how I’m viewing them since it’s akin to watching on VHS. If they can get these small issues resolved, which should arguably have been there at launch, it will be a 5* review. PS, Mandalorian is great! Update: the above issues for restart and resume have already been addressed. Chapter select still lacking though.

Download, login, and browsing happened with perfection... the first surprise. Then the content, WOW. I knew they had to offer a lot since the claims being made by Disney prior to launch were quite bold... and they weren’t kidding, the library is comprehensive, extensively built starting with the very 1st Mickey Mouse film, and including practically everything you could possibly want from Disney (a few movies or offerings have an upcoming release date if they’re not currently available, and I certainly expected a few titles to be withheld for many possible reasons, so not disappointed about that). I’m personally very excited to check out all the National Geographic shows &amp; movies that I browsed through, and watch a whole lot of movies I loved as a child &amp; haven’t encountered for 30 years! But AS FOR MY YOUNG CHILD, this will now bring a lot of happiness to his life as we get to share all the incredible Disney movies with him now!! YAY!!!!! Thank you Disney!

First let me make it plain that I love Disney+. However, there are things that are needed, and I can’t figure out why they were ignored. First, WHY is there not a “continue watching” or “recently viewed” section??? It’s very annoying that we have to search for what we were watching. Secondly, when I’m setting in my chair trying to find something to watch, it can be very hard to see the title from across the room. When I hover over the movie, there should be some sort of pop up that helps me see the selection title more clearly, the rating and a short snapshot of what the selection is about. Thirdly, when I pick up watching the movie from where I left off, it says “play” instead of “continue watching”. I realize you’re trying to be different than your competitors but there are some things they’ve been doing right for a really long time. Do what they’re doing and STOP TRYING TO REINVENT THE WHEEL! I’ve paid for a year’s subscription but will probably cancel if these simple things aren’t fixed. By the way, I took one star off for each of the three complaints listed.

Just downloaded the app. I loved how clean and simple the design is. Disney’s enormous library is immediately apparent. From Marvel to Snow White, it’s all hear. As a parent of two, I really like the streamlined nature of the kids section. I was prepared to add every Toy Story movie on my own, but instead there is an entire curated collection made by Disney for easy discovery. Having all your favorite Disney movies in one place will turn digging through binders of DVDs to find your copy of Hocus Pocus at Halloween an absolute breeze. With Mandalorian already out and Marvel with a lineup of original series to come, Disney there for the parents too. All I ask is that a back button of some sort be added to the top left of page for the movies you tap on. The little X in the top right is ok, but it being on the left on smartphones is way more natural, even a drag and remove would be good. Fantastic showing from Disney otherwise. 5 stars

Disney+ has been amazing, so far! My family and I are thrilled to be watching all the old shows and movies again, as well as, all the new content! I love the Mandalorion.. so freaking good! However, I do feel there are some major key things missing that could help improve Disney+ overall experience! 1) to start, having to fast forward through the movie or show to where you left off gets real annoying real quick! Or, even having to remember which episode you are on next. 2) there should be a newly added section or some sort of indication to know that there’s a new episode or a new movie uploaded to Disney+. 3) My family and I watch it on our Samsung Smart TV which works great, but the only issue I see is when you click into a couple of shows and then click a suggested show or movie, in order for me to get back to the home screen I have to constantly click the back button. There should be a menu pop up or a way to instantly click to get to the home page or go back straight to your watchlist. 4) Speaking of the watchlist something is wrong with the add button. You can add a show or movie to your watchlist, however you can’t deselect it from your watchlist. I’m sure there could be plenty more improvements I can help resolve, but overall, great job! I know it just came out, and we all knew there were going to be bugs and things to improve on from the start. Keep up the great work!

So the app is great and has so much but is too much shorts that are not really interesting but no Indiana Jones I mean Indiana Jones is even at Disney world. But maybe babies will watch the shorts but I think they are a waste of time and are really stupid and stop supporting gay people it is wrong read your bibles and stop making movies about nerds and wimps and maybe make them about people who actually have talents and stop making your Disney Chanel stuff so stupid they’re so stupid and are not even entertaining like nobody wants to watch people bash each other with a stick in the head those are my complaints and one more thing stop making live action remakes it makes nobody remember the old ones you walk up to a kid and you say have you seen Aladdin and they say yes but they are really just talking about the remake and if you keep making them then don’t try to shove communism and demacratism and atheism down are throats and don’t make stuff so stupid

While I am pleased with the service overall, there are a few things about it that I find to be disappointing. It is mildly inconvenient that my watch list isn’t shown on the main page, but what’s even more inconvenient is the fact that the service doesn’t seem to keep track of where I left off while watching a tv series. Every other streaming platform has a “continue watching” function, but Disney + lacks this ability. On a minor note, the available content is great. However, when I first heard there would be a Disney+ streaming service, the first two shows I got excited about finally being able to stream from beginning to end were The Famous Jett Jackson and The Proud Family. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered neither show was available on the service. I hope one day these get added to the service, but for now. I guess I’ll just settle for That’s So Raven and Lizzie McGuire.

Buggy. Incomplete. Almost like a Beta? While this is a new platform and is bound to have room for improvement on its initial launch, I am surprised (and honestly quite disappointed) that a company of Disney’s caliber neglected to polish their flagship streaming service this much. It fails to incorporate important elements of what I would consider basic streaming user experience while boasting a user interface that feels clunky and often quite glitchy. However their programs are organized decently well which could be a testament to their forethought or the fact that there just isn’t that much variety in content yet. Missing elements: - ANY way to track series or films that you are in the middle of watching. You have to go re-search it again. - Even when you find the new program it does not track which episodes have been completed. - No way to customize your home page to your favorite programs. Glitches: - Switching from user to user will glitch - Loading series will sometimes glitch to where only certain episodes will show- sometimes no episodes will show! - During streaming difficulty in scrubbing to a specific spot Positives: - Disney content. Let’s be honest it’s why we’re all here. Their years of labor and/or buying up other companies’ labor has paid off. - Easy to find a specific show or movie. (Just wish I didn’t always have to!) Long way to go in my opinion to be a polished well established streaming service, but they’re in the right track.
Awful customer service

So I probably spent more then 8 hours talking to customer service and how I was told a different price and how the bundle works and then I find out I’m getting charged more for the subscription then what I was told the day of lunch and I called again today and spoke with two different supervisors that told me two completely different answers on everything and then I had to call again and speak to a manager just to say that they are sorry and that he couldn’t control what his employees say to customers and I find it unacceptable that a well establish company can’t control what pricing they’re employees are giving the customers on the 1800 number this Is a full on scam and for the people that are in charge of this subscription can’t do there jobs then why are they there I’m so upset set I wouldn’t ever what to do this to my favorite company but they basically screwed me over and it’s sad to say Since I’ve loved and supported Disney all of my life and how everyone knows me as a Disney freak since I always make sure I have at least something Disney every day most of the week I look like I’m going to Disney land head to toe

I am 29 years old and will never forget growing up watching Disney movies. When I heard about the streaming service I couldn’t wait to download. Upon downloading I was not upset at all. Neat design, easy to use, and immediately you see newer marvel movies, as well as some of the old classics. The choices are endless. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I first downloaded it on my PlayStation and the app said it couldn’t connect to Disney+. Checked my internet first and everything was good there. Instead just downloaded on my phone for now. I also got to the same message a few times on my phone but it was within the app instead of at first when booting it. Also just to see the amount of videos I tried to go to “A to Z” and see everything and i wasn’t able to get past “Aliens of the Deep”. I do understand that all new apps have kinks to work out so I look forward to seeing the updates, as well as watch it on my PlayStation.

Big disney fan. I was so excited for this app. I really do love the content. All my favorite movies from my childhood, and all my favorite original series and movies. I love the movies. I get to sit down and enjoy a movie with my daughter for an excellent price thank you disney for thinking about the lower class. I really did think it was going to be expensive and almost didn’t try it out. Here are my buts. When i see a movie and have to leave mid way. I would be nice to login and be able to see and just start it. Instead i have to search for and then press play. And sometimes it restarts. Same for the shows. I love the simpsons but when i go back to watch i have go to the season i was on. Then scroll until i find the last episode. Sometimes its hard because i cant remember and there is no way to tell if i have already seen it. So of you could please work on that, to me, the app would be perfect. Thank you. Every time I click on a video to watch it says oops something went wrong, the sound doesn’t line up with the characters talking, or when it finally does start to work it will buffer forever while my internet is great, and start playing in English AD, then it will almost immediately say oops something went wrong. I don’t even select the English AD it just automatically starts playing and when I try to switch it back to regular English it locks up and takes forever. I can’t even close my phone. Tried to contact support and tried the online chat. Told me my wait time was less than 30 mins. At the 30 min mark it kicked me off. So I called and was on hold for 2 hours just for the person to tell me that he was having trouble with his app too and it was a technical difficulty and to try back in a few hours! I pay for this and don’t want to have to wait to watch it. It’s not even been out that long so why is it already messing up so bad! It would be wonderful to watch all the shows that I loved during my childhood.

Love Disney love that most movies are available. But here&#39;s the caveat that&#39;s not listed. For some movies a not available in your area error message comes up. I&#39;m in the United States. Not sure but maybe if a cable network is showing movie in my area, I have to wait to watch? I&#39;m also a smidgen peeved that recent movie releases currently on cable pay per view, are not available on the Disney stream yet, despite Disney marketing saying that they would be. Two examples are the live action Aladdin and the live action Lion King. No reason why these two aren&#39;t streaming as neither is in theaters now. The only other issue I see so far is the lists. For example, pull up Marvel. Not all Marvel movies are listed under this tab. But if you do a search on an actual movie title it comes up. So all in all this is still a great value and I will probably continue to subscribe. There are so many great movies on here. Hopefully these things I mentioned can be attributed to a new streaming service getting off the ground and will be fixed shortly.

Ok so I got this as part of my 1 year trial as my family are Verizon Wireless Customers. I was looking forward to Natural Geographic but when I searched through the Nat. Geo. Tab I noticed my favorite Nat. Geo. Show wasn’t there. My favorite National Geographic show is Alaska State Troopers. It’s not on there...Why? I mean I understand that Alaska State Troopers isn’t always Family appropriate but it shows the world as it is up in “The Last Frontier”. There is plenty of things that’ll keep me occupied. Also another thing... “Everything” Marvel Comics. The Punisher is Marvel. There may be a NETFLIX series called “The Punisher” but, there are two “The Punisher” Movies that were made, “The Punisher” and “The Punisher: War Zone”. BOTH WERE MADE BY MARVEL! Sure both are Rated R and were made over ten years ago but shouldn’t we get them. Oh and there isn’t Fantastic Four, There’s the TV show but the Original early 2000’s movies and the 2015 remake aren’t on Disney+. There are no X-MEN movies either. The only X-MEN movies that are Rated R are Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and Logan. Come on Disney ADD THEM!!! Add every one of the Movies and the One TV show on to Disney+,Please?
All the favorites, one small problem

Just like everyone else here, I was very excited to use Disney+ and watch all the old favorites along with the new original shows. I’m very happy with the service thus far but I’ve been having an issue with the auto play feature since the release of the app. I use my iPhone X to cast Disney+ movies/shows to my Google ChromeCast. When watching a show, the app will stop streaming after the second episode. It’ll go back to the placeholder screen that says “Ready to cast” but it won’t let me select the next episode. I have to disconnect my phone from the ChromeCast, close the app, then re-open it and reconnect to the ChromeCast. After that I can play the next episode but the same thing happens again after the second episode. Not sure what the issue is, this doesn’t happen when I use other streaming apps like Netflix or HBO GO. A fix to this would be appreciated. Other than that, Disney+ has been great.
Continue Watching Restarts Episode

So, I gave this four stars because I do love the app and would love to give it five stars if only this one problem would be fixed. I was initially annoyed about the no “continue watching” feature but with the update that fixed my problem. Or so I thought... when I first got the continue watching update it worked on all of my devices. Unfortunately, now- no matter what device I am on- it restarts the episode that I was on. The continue watching will show me my show and say 7 mins remaining, or something like that, but when I click on it it will load to the beginning of that episode. This is not the worst because I will fast forward to where I was, but I do feel it is an inconvenience and would love for it get fixed. Again I would like to emphasize my love for this app and getting to rewatch all of my favorite Disney shows and movies. Please fix this little bug so I can change my review to five stars.
Hard for Younger Kids to Navigate

This is a really good app, and I can see it only getting better. Baby Yoda needs to be a profile picture option. I have a sister who has poor vision and can’t read, and the app is hard to navigate for her. She goes off of pictures to find her favorite movies and shows. I think Disney+ needs to take some pointers from Netflix’s kid section. It’s very easy for children to navigate, even if they can’t read. I feel like the categories need to be better organized. I don’t know what a lot of the category titles mean. The content is amazing, but I hope they add more or keep rotating content. I binge watch TV, and I see me running out of things to watch in a couple of months. It seems like the app has content more geared towards kids, but is hard for them to navigate. I love the watchlist though, because I went through all the movies and TV and was able to add her favorites, so she only has to look through those.

There is not a “continue watching” or “recently watched” section so you have to search for what you were previously watching. Then let’s say it’s a TV show, you can’t just press play at the top bc it’ll play episode 1 each time starting you from the beginning. So you can’t press play so you have to search for the episode where you left off. And Disney+ doesn’t make it easier to search for the last episode you watched because all the episodes don’t have that colored bar many streaming services have that show how much of an episode you watched or if you had watched it at all. It looks like an app created for children in it simplicity. These are just some of the “settings” I&#39;ve taken for granted that other streaming services offer aside from this app. Other than these minor problems that I’m sure will come with it’s future updates, it’s content is amazing and worth the price.

So, the interface design is elegant and clean, I haven’t experienced any weird lagging or anything of the sort and the image quality is really great (I can’t say for sure as far as audio because I don’t have a setup that could allow me to fully appreciate this at the moment). However, my biggest issue with the service right now, and this is not just for the iOS app, but for every format including Roku and the website itself, is the fact that there isn’t a “keep watching” section, thus making me have to do a manual search if whatever I’m watching isn’t immediately recommended to me or manually saved to my watchlist. To this I’d also like to point out that when I do the search, I’ll often have to remember where I left off in a series because if I just search what I was watching and press play, it’ll just play from Season 1 episode 1 of whatever series I choose, regardless of the device I’m watching from. Other than that good job guys!

Got the Disney app immediately after lunch, so excited... so disappointed!!!! Just like long lines at the park, wait in line 2 hours and the ride breaks down... this app can’t stream without interruption. I haven’t been able to watch guardians of the galaxy 2 without trying like eight times now!!! And I just spent a another hour trying to watch the first 15 minutes of Ragnarok... Walt would be so ???? I loved Disneyland as a kid and now I hate everything about it. And this app is about to be delete. This I have said before and no one at Disney is it listening. 12/12/2019

I love watching Disney and Disney plus has all my favorites, but it has difficulty connecting to WiFi and does not stream smoothly. If connection is just barely shy of strong, it disconnects. Even at my university where the WiFi is fine for everything else including other streaming sites and services, Disney plus does not load unless no one is using the internet. Please fix because I love watching.

It would be nice if it didn’t lag so much. I understand that it’s probably from a lot of people using the app at the same time but it’s still frustrating watching a movie and then all you get is audio with spotty video for *up to* 20 Minutes. Other than that it’s great, but my kids are upset y’all took incredibles away 😂. It’s a great app that’s worth the money. I know it will get situated.

The sound in every movie I’ve watch goes from 100% randomly drops as low as 20% then jumps back up for no reason very annoying even makes some movies unwatchable would like to see it fixed

I love the content provided and the app itself looks great. The download feature, though, seems to have a critical flaw. If you try to play back when offline, like on my daughter’s iPad on a road trip, it won’t play. It says something about not verifying license. Same thing on a plane without WiFi. The license should be issued at time of download for some period on time. In daughters case, I downloaded night before road trip. I know you want to secure your content, but the whole point of the download feature is to watch later when OFFLINE.

But they really need to work out the bugs. Episodes of old shows out of order or just plain missing and entire seasons of shows missing. 3 stars because it has so much potential. I’ll probably return sometime in the future to give it another shot, but even at its current price point, it just isn’t worth it.

Signed up, created an account for my daughter and chatted with live Disney support. There is 1 email account to login. You can create multiple profiles, you can even create a profile for your child with “our friendly restrictions”...but here is the embarrassment... There are no separate logins. Your children login with your master account. Your kid can simply turn off and “kid friendly” restrictions you set. Your kid can simply switch over to your profile. You kid can even change your password or the account email address all together... Disney live rep recommends you talk to your child an explain the profile is theirs and not to change it or to switch accounts or to change the account settings. Ok, I trust my daughter, but working in IT security for many years, this is such a simple fix instead of relying on the honor system, Disney should be embarrassed!! Was this a high school computer science project that ran out of time?
Annoying glitches

I downloaded mandalorian and have been watching it throughout my day, and I’ve been experiencing bug after bug. The most common bug is that while watching the show, the video will randomly stop while the audio continues. I try skipping it back, skipping it forward and coming back to where I was, closing the app and coming back to the place I was, and the video will still be paused. Keep in mind these episodes are DOWNLOADED. The most annoying glitch I’ve faced involved halfway through an episode, the credits started showing, and when I skip past the credits the episode closes out about 20 minutes in, far from the end. Skipping it back all the way only brings it however far back the credits ended. For example, if the glitch happens and the credits end at 20:56, when I skip it back all the way it only skips back to 20:56 from the end, even when the episode timer shows 00:00. It’s super frustrating, and closing the app doesn’t fix these glitches. Just waiting around fixes these but I really don’t wanna stop and wait 10 times an episode for something I downloaded.

This app freezes way too much!!! Honestly, if I choose to watch a movie, I know it’s gonna freeze at least 3-4 times. Now I just revert back to always using Netflix only because I don’t wanna deal with the freezing.

Disappointing. There are so many little things that other platforms have improved on over the years, how did Disney not check out the competition and get a jump start. The app is overly simple with very little ability to navigate. You constantly have to navigate back the the home screen and then step by step to your destination. The ‘continue watching’ list (in my opinion the most important space in a streaming app) tends to not show up; and when it does you have no ability to open the show’s page (thus allowing for episode selection). There is no skip to next episode button. No episode selection while in video. No tracker to show what you’ve previously watched (to know what episode your on). And difficult navigation to your own watchlist. The app is great for browsing and that’s about it, but since most people have a good understanding of what Disney has to offer this isn’t all that important. I love having access to all this content but that’s not what Disney+ is, it’s an experience and it’s lacking.

So far I love the Disney+ app. There are great movie choices and the app is very easy to use. My only suggestion would be that there needs to be more movies with audio description. I got Disney+ specifically so a blind family member could listen to movies. However, many of the movies he would like to listen to do not have audio description.

I like the app and the content, but it seems as though it only works on the devices it&#39;s downloaded on. We use our phones for our Wi-Fi and it uses way less data if we download first and then play rather than steaming everything. But, on the app on the AppleTV there is not an option to download first and if we download them on our phone or tablets first and then try to use airplay, it stops the movie and says it has encountered a problem. It is a brand new AppleTV, so it is not an issue with it being an older generation AppleTV.

The content is good but I am very disappointed that I cannot watch on anything but my iPhone. I use an apple hdmi adapter to watch all other streaming networks on my tv but this one is block. This makes the app very difficult for my family to use. Honestly we don’t use it at all because of this issue.

I downloaded Disney Plus because i&#39;ve heard good and excellent review about this app but then Disney Plus denied my card and said it&#39;s from another country even though my card is a Visa card... The app let me make an account and it worked perfectly fine the first day. But now it won’t work at all. I’ve restarted my phone. Changed between WiFi and data. Uninstalled the app. Logged out. But I keep getting the message that it’s having trouble connecting to my account.

It never saves we’re i leave off on a show I could be on season three of something then when I put it back on it plays season one and the first episode it makes no sense or I’ll watch half of something turn it off and then when I’m not busy I’ll put it on and it won’t even show on recently watched them when I find it it plays from the beginning instead of we’re I left off it is so annoying

DO NOT PASS THIS CHANCE!!! This is the best tv app ever made!!! Recommend for legit anyone! I never can stop watching the simpsons or mandalorian, this is so addicting. The only problem I have is I was wondering if there could be a fix to pausing and playing videos. It lags and if I try to press pause and start really fast it just has to load for the rest of the episode, and I’d ask that the movie Enchanted to be added to DisneyPlus. U been using Disney+ since I got it Downloaded on November 12, 2019, and it’s a great app for watching old shows that Netflix had before. There are only two things I found that maybe be use in a future update(if you still continue following peoples complains.) 1, for downloads, I think people would be most impressed if there was a filter setting in the download section. 2, I was a little disappointed when I couldn’t find two movies me and my sister’s like, and that is “Enchanted,” and “Anastasia.”(if you can tell me when they come out on Disney+. That said, this app is “Better than Netflix,” and I hope you will work one a update soon. :)

I loved the app when it first came out but for the past two weeks now I haven’t not been able to use the app on my Xbox or my phone because it won’t work with the internet. The only time the app works on my phone is when my internet is turned off on my phone and I use my data to watch it but that doesn’t fix the app not working on my Xbox. Would be nice if this was fixed because now I’ve been paying for an app that hasn’t worked in two weeks. But it is nice when the app actually works

I love the app. But they really need to add an option to end sessions. Gave my password to my brother but I want to option to log him out when I want to (like how Netflix does it). Also when I change my password, IT DOES NOT LOG OUT OTHER DEVICES!! Changed my password on my account and my brother is still logged on. NEEDS THD OPTION TO LOG SOMEONE PUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER CHANGING PASSWORD! Lots of security issues with the app that need to be fixed overall. But it’s a great app. JUST ADD THD OPTIONS TO TERMINATE SESSIONS, LOG OUT OTHER DEVICES, AND LOG PEOPLE OUT AFTER CHANGING PASSWORD!

I feel the 1 week trial should be 30 days. Netflix, Hulu gives its users at least a month to get a feel of the apps content. Another thing—why isn’t Disney+ available on ALL Smart TVS? It’s unfair if you have a samsung tv 2015 model and you can’t even find it on the AppStore. I want to be able to watch Disney+ on my TV too!

This is the worst streaming service, period. No other service; Netflix, amazon, crunchy roll, or any minor third party; when you download something it corrupts 100 percent. Close your iPad while watching offline, open it ten minutes later, ERROR. This service is worse than streaming apps you haven’t heard of. Complete failure in providing any payable service. If you’re not getting it for free you’re a fool.

Here are my issues with Disney+ The main screen: The main screen is a series’s of rows of thumbnails, just like Netflix’s setup... but there is barely anything there. What I mean is, you scroll through about ten or so titles in each category which is in reality a tiny fraction of what’s actually available. So, in order to find something to watch you have to think about a title you’re looking for and search for it in the search bar. What I found even dumber was that the same thing is true in the more specific “categories” sections. For example... you can visit the Star Wars category and scroll through all day long and NEVER find “The Last Jedi” but it’s totally available, you have to search for it though. Dumb. So dumb. Subtitles: My partner is hearing impaired and we watch tv with subtitles on 100% of the time. The subtitles on Disney+ across all of the platform always show up about 6 seconds too early, causing confusion about who is speaking on screen. Loading: There is always loading problems. Skipping, loading, restarting when the scene finally loads up... really annoying. I actually turned off the app and decided to watch Avengers:Endgame on a different platform. One that doesn’t have loading issues. All in all I’m not impressed. But I paid for the year so I guess I’ll tune in again when the new Marvel TV shows come out in the spring, binge those, and cancel.

So I have one question and complaint. so why isn’t ant farm one of the best Disney shows ever to exist not on here???like that was most kids child hood. That show was the best and I expect the app to have like it says all the Disney movies and shows yet Netflix,Hulu,sling,and prime don’t have ant farm so I go to the Disney app thinking it has everything and what don’t you have ant farm and it’s not like a show that had one season and wasn’t a hit so if you would PLEASE CONSIDER adding a few more titles ant farm being included sorry but I gave up on punctuation ... otherwise the app is good 👍🏽

The movie/tv content is fantastic. However someone hacked my account and there’s stuff i never watched and no one else but my wife uses it and she uses her profile and she said there’s shows she never watched showing up. There’s no way to force logout, also there’s some tv shows I tried to watch but did not like and it stays on continue watching and I can’t remove it. There should be a option to remove things from watch history or remove shows you don’t want to keep watching or a option to remove from continue watching. Sometimes when you click add to watchlist it will show a check mark and then when you want to remove it from watch list the check mark is gone and reclicking and unclicking it does not remove films from watch list. Other than that once all this is worked out it’ll be a great contender.

I am a college student and subscribed to Disney plus the same day that it came out. I really enjoyed all of the shows and great Disney movies that came with the subscription. Unfortunately several weeks later the service suddenly stopped working on the WiFi network of my college campus. The problem has nothing to do with our WiFi, everything else works fine. After contacting Disney plus about the issue they said that our network was whitelisted for some reason and that issue would be resolved within 1-2 business days. Well the issue wasn’t resolved and despite contacting them several more times it is still not fixed. Our campus IT department has now contacted them and we are told the issue will be fixed in 24-48 hour, but of course still isn’t fixed. It has been a week now of no service, and still nobody on our campus can use Disney plus, so the dozens, if not hundreds of students at my school who subscribed haven’t been able to watch here for a week. As far I’m concerned Disney owes everyone at my college a refund. Throughout this whole process they have been very evasive about the issue, and while they’ve continued to assure us it will be fixed, I still can’t access the service that I payed for. You would think that the largest entertainment conglomerate in the world wouldn’t take a week to fix an issue that’s affecting so many customers, but clearly they can’t be bothered. They call it Disney magic, but as far as I’m concerned it’s just a Disney rip-off.

I can’t log into any of my devices. I was logged in on my phone but then the app decided to log me out. Now I can’t log in. So I ended up canceling my subscription (thank god I can do that thru apple)

I love watching all the movies but there are some shows that aren’t on Disney plus like Mighty Med, and Maleficent, and Logan. Mighty Med was a all time favorite of mine and I’m disappointed that the show was not on Disney plus. All the complaints aside this app is pretty good.

This would totally be a five-star review if the app didn’t crash every few minutes while trying to watch ANY movie. There is serious bug issues that need to be fixed and the app needs updating. Half the time we can’t get past the Disney logo at the start of a movie before we get another “Oops” message.😡 Coming from a company of Disney’s size and scope, not to mention reputation, I expected better.

Amazing library however loads of connection issues. Constantly having the movie/show I’m watching freeze and say “uh oh a problem has occurred”. Restart the app and try again only to find out it’s going to do it again.

So I’ve been using Disney+ since it launched &amp; it’s great!! The only real issue I have is that not everything I added to my watchlist appears on it. There’s several shows &amp; movies that I added and it shows they were added, but they don’t show up in my watchlist. I even tried deleting everything out of my watchlist and starting it from scratch. But no, that didn’t fix the problem. It’s just kind of frustrating when you go to look for something you added to your watchlist and it’s not there.

So Im using the app for a while and I love it, but if I pause and exit out and try to go back in to where I left off it makes me go back to the start of the movie. I really hope this gets fixed and some of the disney tv shows are out of order like Phineas and Ferb. But overall I love it

DOES NOT WORK WITH CHROME CAST! First question I asked was is it compatible with chrome cast TVs? Everything said yes, signed myself up to find out the app doesn’t even connect! Googled how to troubleshoot, even contacted google to make sure their side was running smoothly. All I can find as far as help is, “delete the app and reinstall” DOESN&#39;T WORK, “send troubleshoot code to google” GOOGLE SAYS ITS DISNEY, “update all apps used for streaming” EVERYTHING BUT DISNEY RUNS JUST FINE!!! Seems as though Disney would rather rack up subscriptions than fix the issues for the ones they already have!! FIX THIS!

I want to give 5 stars but my issue is my daughter watches Disney+ on the iPad in the car but it doesn’t continue playing the next episodes. I’ve tried going in setting to change it but there is no such thing. So if I don’t have a passenger to push play for next episode she’s stuck watching nothing. Also I apple air play it to my TVs and have the same issues. I also hate that if I want to look for other things in the app. The show that I’m air playing stops. Other then that I’m in love with this app. My favorite is the The Imagineering Story. Sooooooo good.

This app is very good and has a lot of Disney classics that I love. They are just missing some shows that I LOVE A.n.t farm, dog with a blog, I didn’t do it, etc. Also a problem I have had with the app is there is no continue watching section which I find very Anyoing, especially when you are watching a series. So I hope Disney can update the app and put more shows out there and a continue watching section.

PLEASE fix the Roku Disney app for poor connections. Disney+ buffers every 45 seconds and I don’t have this issue with my Netflix app so there must be something that Netflix is doing to help us folks with slow connections.

Love this app I like how it has all the old original movies I also like how any age group can watch and it still be good. I just wish it had more of the remakes and they don’t really update the page when you get on the the app which I wish they did so you can see more movie and show suggestions. I also wish that they didn’t schedule the new movies to get added on in 2 years or in a year. They did a really good job making the app itself I just wish they put more movies on sooner and put a page of all the movies being added from closest to furthest away. The app is good for all age groups and is enjoyably for the whole family.

I’ve been using the Disney plus app ever since the app came out (3 wks), and I’ve been having one issue after another. The app is a very amazing app with loads of Disney favourites and classics for the whole family to enjoy, from my childhood and I have had a great experience with using it. But, there have been a few bumps in the road when it came to me using the app on my PS4 console. I’ll experience problems such as; when I go to rewind something, the movie/show I’m watching will back out and show what will play next. This will not happen when i go to dast forward - only when I go to rewind something. I’ve also noticed very recently that when I add things to my watch list — what ever’s on the bottom will disappear and will no longer be accessable to me. Meaning, I’ll still be able to watch it, but it will no longer be in my Watchlist and this upsets me a lot. I am very happy that I now have something other than and better than Netflix. My only issue is the rewind feature (mainly on my game console) and the Watchlist adding ability. Aside from all the issues and technical difficulties I&#39;ve been facing, the app is very beautiful - bright, colourful, great movies and shows, huge variety of content for the entire family and even the price is affordable and to my liking. I do highly recommend this app to all who enjoys Disney. Just make sure to be aware of the problems I&#39;ve faced I&#39;ve you decide to use it on your video game console or even your television.

I love the content on Disney+ overall, and it’s so amazing to have all of the classic content I grew up with at my fingertips. Much of the content is great and can be watched over and over again, with tons of hours of streaming available for any major Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, or National Geographic fan. With that being said, the app is in need of some major updates. The first and most glaring issue is the “Continue Watching” section or “Watch Again” functionality. With Disney, much of the content is self explanatory and is simple to find because we know what it is called. But for the other stuff, such as National Geographic, it can be hard to identify what I watched already or what I need to continue. Please add this function as soon as possible! Another issue is the inability to view show or movies synopsis without clicking into the show on Apple TV. For instance, when you pull up Gordon Ramsay Uncharted on the Apple TV app, you can mouse over it and get a picture of Gordon Ramsay standing in front of an ocean front. The problem is, what is the show about? Is Gordon Ramsay going to chart the ocean? Is he going to cook in uncharted territories? Will he take the ocean? Who knows! With much of the content, this is easily seen past because the content is already familiar, but with new content and more things being added I think this is a definite need to make selecting a show more interesting and simple.

Overall I like Disney+. I think it is a great idea and it is wonderful to have all the movies in one place. As much as I love it, I would only give this app a 4 out of 5 star review because of a few things I have come across when having this app for a week or so now. My first thing I would point out is the no “Continue watching” bar. This is a common thing that people have pointed it to me and I have realized is a inconvenience as well. I don’t like how you have to go back and find what you were watching to continue watching it (if I even remember what I was watching). My next thing that I have found is that the movie may seem that it is on the platform but is not actually. I have realized this with some of the Marvel movies. I was looking forward to watching all of them in chronological order. As I was saving them to my “watch later” bar, I relived that even though it may seem that they are on the platform they may not come on till later in the year. I was disappointed as why would they seem like they have it on and it is not actually there. My suggestion is to have a place where all the movies or shows that are coming soon are and they are separated from the movies and shows are that are already on the platform. These are a few of my suggestions that I would greatly appreciate were reviewed.

I love how they have ALL the Disney Chanel Originals which was the biggest thing I was wanting. I’ve only been exploring for a little while but it has sooo much. I am frustrated with not having a “currently watching” list though, that is a pretty necessary thing when I stop watching for a bit I don’t want to have to re-search for my show. That is the only reason it is not 5 stars. One last thing is I’ve read that some older movies may be censored due to racial or ethnic jokes/slurs or whatever. I really hope they DO NOT do this because that is not only changing beloved movies and shows it is an attempt to alter history. Whether it is approved of or not in today’s society it is a fact that people thought differently in former years and it shows in how they made everything from film to art to books. If there is concern on how it will affect today’s children then it should be seen as a conversation point not something to remove, and if it offends adults then they have the right not to watch it same as we all do for anything. If censoring must be done then make it optional so that those who want to watch the shows in their entirety can freely do so. Having a commentary or intro series for each explaining the societal and cultural environment of the time would be welcome

Addendum: They added a continue watching and a recommended for you. Increased to 4 stars, now just waiting for new content to see how it goes. I got this app for the bew star wars stuff coming out which is awesome. And it has things from the vault, old cartoons. It has sub sections: star wars/disney/marvel etc. that being said. Theirs things to work on. Theirs no continue watching, you need to either add it to your current watch to the watchlist or search every time. And it wont always remember where you left off especially for shows itll just replay ep 1 however i havent had this issue with movies, it remembers my place most times. It freezes often requiring you to close and reopen the app(ps4) havent had freeze issues on tablet. Itll also freeze and then go back a minute replaying things as it tries to correct itself. The current library is very limited to older disney movies. As i believe other streaming oroviders have current contracts for certain movies they prolly wont be able to add them to disney+ till other hulu/netflix movies are done with their contracts example is a limited marvel movie selection. They have plans to add more shows/movies so i think itll be like netflix where they add and remove shows and movies. When its less buggy I’ll prolly give it 4-5 stars at that time.

I LOVE this app and have really enjoyed introducing my kiddos to all of the classics! I feel like I am a kid again and am in 7th heaven when I come home and ALL of the Disney movies are just waiting for me! My kids love it and everyone has a new favorite show. All of our other streaming services have officially been forgotten so thank you Disney for saving my hard earned money and for putting all of the most amazing movies in one place!! Please do not remove older shows due to older views and fear of offending people. I love all Disney movies and appreciate them for what they were and acknowledge that views have drastically changed over the decades. Some items may be offensive, even to me as a African American woman but as so many other have pointed out these are better used as talking points for our children. We cannot alway run from the offensive history that we have, it happened, and it is better to learn from it than pretend like it has always been perfect (which it is far from perfect today). Also, I really hope we can an area that shows what we are “currently watching” and when I open up the movie it could have the bar that shows how much was completed. I know we have a “watchlist” but it doesn’t help having to search each time.

I use Disney plus all the time to watch all of my favorite Disney shows and movies. There are a lot of problems that will HAVE to be figured out! But the one that upsets me the most, actually two or more: one; if I switch devices it will often forget where I was in an episode and restart it from the beginning forcing me to skip to where I left off. Also unlike a lot of other streaming platforms, there is no PROGRESS BAR per episode, to show how far you have watched through an episode. If you open the show it will not automatically place you in the season you are watching, you have to go and choose season and scroll to the correct one. On the mobile app there is no way to view episodes if you click on the resume watching box, unlike a lot of other platforms! My mobile device will also often not automatically play the next episode, when I was a kid I dreamed of the day it would automatically play the next episode and guess what everyone else has figured it out! I like the blue circle around the play button about 5 seconds, but it is often not there! So frustrating! I like the idea and content but the curtain should have been held as we say in show business, before release!

Here is the thing, I love Disney, my family loves Disney. Everyone young and old loves Disney. I think it’s an amazing app, with some even better features, and yes it has a bunch of glitches (which I’m not stressing about because in time those would be fixed), there are some things missing, (again could be fixed in the future, maybe something’s just need to be developed better, whatever the case may be). Those things don’t bother me. This is what I don’t like...,, ...The majority of the people who’ll be using this app are people who aren’t tech savvy or children. They aren’t always using the most up to date device or software, some children that are using Disney plus (which o can attest to) are children using gen 3 iPads. Or iPhone 4s. Things that are Easy in the hands of children. But unfortunately the app doesn’t support those devices, as they are too old for use. It would be fantastic if it was, I think they would have a lot more viewership but at this rate it’s very hard to use such a wonderful app on such an old device. I mean Netflix does work on things that old. Disney please consider this. Not everyone can or will upgrade a child’s device just so they can watch Disney movies.

Just kidding.. but really Disney+ may be a competitor to Netflix but since I started my free trial &amp; now Verizon promotion subscription - my family &amp; I have been watching Disney+ non-stop. Of course being that this is a new app there are some small bugs but nothing that isn’t going to deter a Disney fan from loving this app anyway! Some of the movies listed aren’t available until certain dates like January 1, 2020 or sometime in April but it’s not all of the movies and I think for the most part most the hit movies are available to watch. It would be nice to have an open platform with all the movies available but you know what? For only $6.99 a month you can’t beat that. Thank you Disney for being a millennial-friendly subscription - all your movies especially Pixar have grown with my generation in mind. We appreciate you! If you have a Verizon unlimited plan definitely enroll in the Disney+ promotion it is so worth it not only for those of you who have children but sometimes us adults need some Disney magic in our lives as well - pretty sure Walt Disney himself said something of that sort at one point. Don’t come for me if he didn’t but I’m pretty sure he did :)

Overall I love Disney plus. There are so many shows/movies to select from that it’s hard for a Disney lover to decide where to start. Since today was launch day I know there will be some kinks that need to be worked out. I just wanted to list some issues or recommendations that could/should possibly be addressed in a future update. I saw one review mention that stuff they were adding to their watchlist wasn’t saving. I ran into that same issue. Another issue I ran into was my auto play wasn’t working. I have that setting turned on but when watching a series it does not automatically play the next episode. I also noticed that an episode was missing from season 1 of the little mermaid series. My recommendations for possible updates are: (1) add a “continue watching” section that shows what I was last watching and didn’t finish. (2)when watching a series have the episodes that users have watched marked in some way that shows they’ve been watched. Currently having to remember what episode I left off on. (3) maybe add a DCOM section so all those are in one place. Overall, I love Disney+ and I’m so excited to keep streaming all my Disney favorites

The app is perfect, but these crazy reviewers are the boneheads ..look people right now there is no feature of “what I watched last “ or history the app would slow down you want that go back to netflix and stay there. Just because you can add 7 people to your account is does not always mean you should. You really trust those 7 people with your account info? Remember only 4 streams allowed and You have should known that you have to have control over these devices. If your password gets changed it will be your fault deal with it. Then you free phone deal will not matter at all. The movies could and will edited if Disney sees fit you should have know this. 4.3 ? No no no 5.5 and nothing else . The app engine is pure and clean cues up easy , logo guides are clear to understand and easy find. Pick Your items then play them from the largest Disney library of gems no worries 🎥🎧🎬 Before anymore stupid comments or ideas come to past here read FQA page please! To anyone else read the fine print know what you paying for people. This pure Disney can not get any better than that nuff said . 🇬🇧🎸🔥

I absolutely love Disney+ it has brought me back to my childhood and that’s a wonderful thing to give to the world right now. All the Disney channel originals i could never find anywhere else is all right here and it makes my heart so full of happiness and nostalgia. But there’s a few issues as others have said. First, why does it have the second movie and not the first one for some titles not all but I have been noticing it with a few movies. Like with National Treasure for example, the first one’s not coming out till April 2020 what was the thought process there?! Second, when you go to rewind a movie with the touch screen in your phone it’s not accurate at all. I’ll go to a certain time take my finger off gently i might add and then it either jumps way ahead or behind of what I actually chose. Third, like others said the continued watching section is terrible why do i have to go back and search for where i was on some movies I’ve never seen, that’s just asking for spoilers just like the rewinding situation. I think with some adjustments you have yourself a truly fantastic app and a gift to the world. Thank you. 🤍

It’s cool that it has older tv shows that I grew up watching, no doubt I love that!, however it doesn’t resume my tv shows, I often times have to look for the exact one I left off at. It’s really annoying. (Especially when you have a crying child!) It also needs the “you just watched this” feature right up front so I don’t have to go searching for it. When I get on to Disney plus it’s always the same movies.. and I’m not interested in those. I want to see only what I’m interested in. That’s the reason why I bought it. Another feature it needs is. “Because you watched this, we suggest you watch that” I’m getting bored of the same things, nothing new is on there. Well not that I know of.... another suggestion that you also separate the “coming soon” movies from the other ones. People can get excited about the up coming year, instead of being supper bummed when they see they have to wait till the month of November in the year 2020 to see the movie or tv shows. I was really upset when I realized I couldn’t watch what I wanted till next Christmas. I’m not to excited about this any more. It’s not a good set up. I feel i was conned out of my money. I bought the year subscription and I wish I hadn’t.

So our family of Disney-lovers find Disney+ to be everything we wanted it to be! Can’t wait for more of the original content to be released, also! I just have a minor suggestion for a future update that would make things a lot easier for us (and I’m sure others). Our son LOVES to watch the Mickey &amp; Friends shorts. So much so, that we re-watch them constantly. However, after an episode is over and it’s continued to auto-play, if we go back to a previously played episode, it stars playing at the credits. There is no “play from the beginning button”. That leaves me scrambling to manually hold down the rewind button. Now it’s not so bad to have to rewind something, but the real problem is once that episode that I rewound is over, it will auto play the next episode and (because it was previously viewed) starts playing that from the credits again! It’s extremely frustrating considering the episodes are only 3-4 minutes long. On the Disney Now app, if the episodes were played to completion, any rewatches go back to the beginning. PLEASE MAKE THIS A FUTURE UPDATE! I fear my sanity and productivity are in jeopardy until this is fixed.
Great Service, Missing One Key Feature

My wife and kids and I love the service so far! There’s tons of stuff for everyone to watch and we’re enjoying showing them the classic movies we watched as kids. The app works quite much better now that they’ve squashed some bugs and added the all important continue watching feature. The app is still not perfect however. After using the app more, I’ve noticed some peculiarities that don’t make much sense. The first is that when someone watches something on their profile, it will often show up on the continue watching list on my profile even though I’ve never watched that show on my profile. This happens quite often with my son’s episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. The other weird thing I’ve run into is that Moana can not be found on a child’s profile. This means my 5 year old who loves Moana must have an adult account that is more difficult for her to navigate in order to watch her favorite movie on the service. Overall, we’re very happy both with the service and the app. Once a few minor tweaks are made, I think Disney+ will be able to play ball with the big dogs.

I love this app and have had it for a little while now. All my favorite Disney channel original movies in one place, talk about a childhood dream come true! The only issue I have had that doesn’t seem to have been addressed in the update, is that my watchlist isn’t working right. Currently, it’s missing some shows and movies that I can look up and see that I’ve added to my watchlist already, though it’s not showing up when I open the watchlist. The watchlist is also duplicating the items that do show up on the list. I’m not sure if this is connected to the other problem I noted above or if it is a completely different issue. Obviously, I still love the app and have even recommended it to a few people. I just wanted to mention this issue that I am having as the other reviews I have read didn’t seem to mention this. I hope this is an easy fix, as I do think this app is great. Disney as a company is amazing! I am so grateful that I can watch all the movies and shows I love that are more recent, while also having the option to revisit some old favorites that I grew up watching (and loving).

It works out pretty well for me. New episodes come out within a few days (which is pretty awesome), you get to watch anything owned by Disney, and it’s just awesome. (Especially The Mandalorian) But there is one thing that could make it better, and I’ve seen other people make this suggestion too. Disney plus should definitely have a “currently watching” section. It’s the one thing left that I need. Otherwise I have to look up the movie that I’m watching, find the right one, and hope it starts off where I ended. And it does, but I think it’d take a little less time and effort if you put a currently watching section right on the top bar of your home screen. That way I can click the app, scroll down a tiny, tiny little bit, and click the movie or show that I’m watching. So yeah, my suggestion (which you should totally add) would be a currently watching section. Otherwise, Disney plus is basically perfect for me.

Okay to start off I’ve never wanted to make a review of anything but this is something I wanna talk about! When they brought this up I was like it’s not like they’ll have Snow White or Crash and Bernstein! But when got the app this morning...🤯! SOMUCH CONTENT! Basically my whole childhood, my siblings childhood, my parents childhood, my Grandparents childhood, and Even my great grandparents childhood! I mean Starting off with Disney! So many TV Shows I can’t find anywhere! So many movies! So many series! And way to many things to even count! Marvel has the OG X-Men y’all! I mean I’m not even kidding! We have some Star Wars! With CLONE WARS!!!!!! And they got some FOX OG’S! Including AVATAR,HOME ALONE, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, THE SIMPSONS, THE SOUND OF MUSIC AND MORE!!!! Take my advice and get it plz y’all! If you don’t like these and like documentaries😒... they got those too with... National Geographic? I’m being honest I don’t really like Nat Geo but HEY THEY STILL GOT IT! But being honest there is some technical difficulties Disney is having so if it says “No Connection” just exit and re-enter it’s no big deal! So take my advise and get this!

The service is off the a great start and I have no doubt that Disney will continue to add more movies, shows, and shorts as it continues. However, while there is a lot of stuff in the service at launch, much of it feels like filler material and some of the things not included can felt. Such as not a single Indiana Jones movie, or the fact that Disney now owns all of Fox’s catalog but only include the Simpsons and avatar. No alien or fox X-men movie? I know these will probably be added later on but I feel like a streaming service that wants to truly compete with other platforms like Netflix should have many of these films already included to form an unbeatable backbone and then continue to support the platform with original content and other new releases after their run in movie theaters. Otherwise you get what we have now, which is a service that has a couple of main classics here and there, and a few originals, but is mostly made up of Disney channel original content and lots of live action D-list filler movies that only someone who grew up with would enjoy watching for nostalgic reasons.

I have an account and like I didn’t want to be selfish so I let my friends come on it since you can add up to 7 people. The thing is, what if one day I decided I don’t want them on it anymore but they refuse to leave. I can’t do anything abt it except cancel the subscription but then everyone else would be effected by just one person . The owner should be able to have more control. Like the owner can do stuff with other profiles and manage stuff more and ppl who aren’t the owner of it shouldn’t be able to like change or go on other ppls profile unless allowed or something. Like you can go on the owners profile even if your not the owner. The last thing is, I trust my friends so I gave them the password to it so they can login but what if for some reason(I doubt the ppl that are on my account would do this bc they are my closest friends) but one day they could just decided to change the password because even if your not the owner of the account, you can still change the password which isn’t right. But that’s all I have to say

Getting two stars because of this app missing the simplest streaming features out there across all devices. Not being able to easily resume a movie/show gets beyond irritating. Especially when they release a resume feature couple weeks after launch only to find out it’s broken, you have to manually search through the app each time to find what you were watching; find it, hit resume and it simply restarts. Thought it was my device messing up, but same happens on mobile, pc, fire stick and playstation. Don’t understand how such a big company that claims to be the new kings of streaming can’t even manage to have the simplest features work. Playbacks constantly skip where the video freezes and the audio continues. This can last 5-10 seconds, goes in a loading loop and then rewinds back to the spot before it hit the video freeze. This has also been happening since launch and happens quite often. Overall it’s a pretty crappy app that was rushed and never optimized for common use. Great selection but unless you want to deal with a headache trying to watch what you want, i’d wait till Disney decides to fix this app as it feels like a Beta testing.

Let me start like so many reviews by saying that the amount of content is out of this world. I will just say I look forward to updates on this app. 1.) I would like a way to mark what episodes I’ve watched already in a series. My memory isn’t good enough to do this for long seeing as my mind is filled with the needs of my cats. 2.) I would like a “last watched” section to easily remind me what I was watching before my cats got into a major fight and I went running from my comfy chair to save my poor fat cat from her distress inflicted by my sleek sporty male cat. 3.) When my lap is being occupied by a sleeping cat, I don’t often have hands to touch my phone between episodes and since the auto play option isn’t working between episodes, poor fat cat is having to move once again. While the app is working well for my cat’s diet and fitness plan, I think these slight modifications would make it more cat lady friendly. And yes, if you did read this all the way through, the first thing we watched was Aristocats.

Your content is there. The app needs work. Profiles need personalization or more than just having a watchlist. For example, there’s no “continue watching” section so hope you know where to find whatever it is you were watching. Also, you can something to your watchlist. Finish it, but without knowing how to manipulate the bugs, remove it from your watchlist. Strolling through all the features, you can click on a show, and even if it’s in your watchlist, it won’t show that it’s in your watchlist, leaving you to believe programs you add to your watchlist aren’t actually there. In regards to manipulating the system to take something off of your watchlist, you have to click add to watchlist to ADD it again, then click it again to remove it. That seems to be the only way to remove a show from your watchlist. And this is a problem on ALL my devices not just mobile devices. This includes the Apple TV, and the firestick app. Disney, y’all are great but with so much content on this service, a person needs a better way to keep track of what’s in their watchlist and what they’ve been watching. Please correct this.

I hate to sound like I’m parroting other reviews, but... I honestly can’t think of another word to describe Disney+ aside from fantastic. From some of the earliest classics that put the name “Walt Disney” on the map, to the legendary pictures that make up the face of the studio and the stream of new films, shows, and other projects, there’s something on here for almost everyone. I understand that at the time of this review, the service is just over a week old, but if there is at least one thing I would like to add to Disney+, it would be the addition of a section dedicated to some of the content that Disney has rights to (and might add to the service) that are geared towards more mature audiences, such as “The X-Files,” “Deadpool,” and other such properties or materials that might not be suitable for younger audiences (in case such a proposition isn’t already in effect). Aside from that suggestion, this is definitely a streaming platform for fans of Disney and beyond.

The amount and quality of the content here is great. However the way older TV series are being handled is inconsistent and pretty rough. Some pre-HD shows are presented in their original 4:3 aspect ratio and look fine, but others for some reason are zoomed in, stretching the image and cropping the top and bottom of the screen which looks terrible, and there is no option to switch. Additionally, nearly all the shows I browsed had every episode listed under one season, which means you can’t look for episodes by season and have to scroll right through dozens of episodes to find what you want. Some episodes are mistitled or misnumbered, meaning they auto play out of the intended viewing order. And if you plan on watching a whole series, it doesn’t appear to save your spot so you have to again scroll through the 50-80 episodes of “season 1” to find where you left off. Hopefully these issues will be addressed soon because the rest of the platform seems great and I am very excited for how much content is available to stream for the first time ever thanks to this platform.

I absolutely love having all the movies in one place. The movies from the vault are such a blessing and it’s like I’m reliving my childhood again but the app itself could use a bit of improvement. I love how they offer a variety of section to search in and maybe find a diamond in the rough to watch but then when you do and suddenly get distracted, you lose your movie and oops! You forgot what it was called!! So I definitely definitely think it needs a “continue watching” section. Also I heard about some of the older classics being ban being of the culture it depicts... I think this is not smart at all and hope it does NOT happen. Yes those movies depict a culture of a time that is no longer relevant, but it’s still history. What’s the good in censoring history when it’s a fact that it happened? Those movies are just what they are, classic. Definitely, most definitely, should not be put back away. Over all love the app but maybe they could make some improvements!

This app has all the old and new Disney including all the other major companies like Marvel and Star Wars. It didn’t have new releases but I will hope that they will be available here before release on Red box and other sites after they leave the box office. The reason I am giving three stars is there needs to be improvements made and this is a new app. There is no place to stop and save in the middle of shows and movies. It also does not tell you what you have already watched, so it is hard to pick up unless you remember yourself. I also wish they had a “currently watching” tab included with the “my watchlist” just to make the app easier to navigate. That being said I have always loved Disney and this app is a great new way to rewatch all of my older favorites that I didn’t have easier access to before this platform. Continue improving on this app Disney and there will have more people subscribed than it already does now. I recommend this product highly as it is reasonably priced as well for the amount of content you are given, and also has multiple profile options.

I am not giving 5 stars for a couple of reasons... First, there isn’t a “recently watched” or “continue watching” area in the home screen. Every time I want to continue watching where I left off, I have to go to my profile and then to my watch list and select from there, which brings me to my second issue. If you are watching a tv series, you select the series you’re watching from your watch list, then you have to scroll down past each episode and hopefully remember which episode you’ve left off on, because if you just click the play button at the top without going to the actual episode, it starts at the very first episode and very first season. Also, unlike Netflix, if you’ve watched an episode, it doesn’t show you in some way (a progress bar or check mark) that you’ve already seen that episode. Other than those 2 things, so far I am enjoying Disney+! I love Disney, and I am curious and excited to check out the “through the years” of Mickey Mouse!

Let me start off by saying this is truly is a beautiful app, and well worth the wait for the sheer amount of titles that Disney has graced us with. That being said, the initial glitches and hiccups were definitely to be expected with the overwhelming number of first-time users. However, the app is still very well designed and all encompassing, while still leaving plenty of room for future growth. I would like to see a “Continue Watching” section (emulating similar streaming apps) as I find it time-consuming to be continuously searching for what I was watching rather than having it conveniently placed on top of the list at launch. The saving grace to this minor flaw is that the app does allow for auto play, so you don’t have to go back and fast-forward to where you were previously watching. In summary, Disney + is highly anticipated app that lives up to most expectations, and can be easily improved with consumer feedback within the coming months.

Overall the content is great! There are some concerns about the app though that I hope gets fixed. Here are a few: 1) there needs to be a continue watching section so you don’t have to re-search the movie or show you were watching and have to remember which episode you were on, 2) if you’ve added something to your watchlist it should show that if you click on it again and should have a way to remove it from the list after watching, and 3) the “recommended for you” category doesn’t seem to change and is showing the same stuff even after watching multiple things so I do not believe it takes into consideration what you seem interested in. All of these also make it seem useless to have separate profiles if a single person’s specific shows are not going to show up as continue watching or recommended. Again love that I have all of this Disney content now, but would also love to see improvement in the app itself!

The content is great. The UI is relatively friendly on both IOS and AppleTV. However, why is there not an option to resume play or to start over when you pick a movie? Having a young child we watch the same movies. Over. And over. Being able to restart from the beginning for the 90th viewing of Little Mermaid would be nice to be done at the touch of a button instead of having to pause and rewind. Also, why no chapter skip/chapter select feature to skip automatically to that one scene that the kids just have to watch repeatedly? It feels like I’m reliving my childhood not only in movies that are being viewed but also in how I’m viewing them since it’s akin to watching on VHS. If they can get these small issues resolved, which should arguably have been there at launch, it will be a 5* review. PS, Mandalorian is great! Update: the above issues for restart and resume have already been addressed. Chapter select still lacking though.

Download, login, and browsing happened with perfection... the first surprise. Then the content, WOW. I knew they had to offer a lot since the claims being made by Disney prior to launch were quite bold... and they weren’t kidding, the library is comprehensive, extensively built starting with the very 1st Mickey Mouse film, and including practically everything you could possibly want from Disney (a few movies or offerings have an upcoming release date if they’re not currently available, and I certainly expected a few titles to be withheld for many possible reasons, so not disappointed about that). I’m personally very excited to check out all the National Geographic shows &amp; movies that I browsed through, and watch a whole lot of movies I loved as a child &amp; haven’t encountered for 30 years! But AS FOR MY YOUNG CHILD, this will now bring a lot of happiness to his life as we get to share all the incredible Disney movies with him now!! YAY!!!!! Thank you Disney!

First let me make it plain that I love Disney+. However, there are things that are needed, and I can’t figure out why they were ignored. First, WHY is there not a “continue watching” or “recently viewed” section??? It’s very annoying that we have to search for what we were watching. Secondly, when I’m setting in my chair trying to find something to watch, it can be very hard to see the title from across the room. When I hover over the movie, there should be some sort of pop up that helps me see the selection title more clearly, the rating and a short snapshot of what the selection is about. Thirdly, when I pick up watching the movie from where I left off, it says “play” instead of “continue watching”. I realize you’re trying to be different than your competitors but there are some things they’ve been doing right for a really long time. Do what they’re doing and STOP TRYING TO REINVENT THE WHEEL! I’ve paid for a year’s subscription but will probably cancel if these simple things aren’t fixed. By the way, I took one star off for each of the three complaints listed.

Just downloaded the app. I loved how clean and simple the design is. Disney’s enormous library is immediately apparent. From Marvel to Snow White, it’s all hear. As a parent of two, I really like the streamlined nature of the kids section. I was prepared to add every Toy Story movie on my own, but instead there is an entire curated collection made by Disney for easy discovery. Having all your favorite Disney movies in one place will turn digging through binders of DVDs to find your copy of Hocus Pocus at Halloween an absolute breeze. With Mandalorian already out and Marvel with a lineup of original series to come, Disney there for the parents too. All I ask is that a back button of some sort be added to the top left of page for the movies you tap on. The little X in the top right is ok, but it being on the left on smartphones is way more natural, even a drag and remove would be good. Fantastic showing from Disney otherwise. 5 stars

Disney+ has been amazing, so far! My family and I are thrilled to be watching all the old shows and movies again, as well as, all the new content! I love the Mandalorion.. so freaking good! However, I do feel there are some major key things missing that could help improve Disney+ overall experience! 1) to start, having to fast forward through the movie or show to where you left off gets real annoying real quick! Or, even having to remember which episode you are on next. 2) there should be a newly added section or some sort of indication to know that there’s a new episode or a new movie uploaded to Disney+. 3) My family and I watch it on our Samsung Smart TV which works great, but the only issue I see is when you click into a couple of shows and then click a suggested show or movie, in order for me to get back to the home screen I have to constantly click the back button. There should be a menu pop up or a way to instantly click to get to the home page or go back straight to your watchlist. 4) Speaking of the watchlist something is wrong with the add button. You can add a show or movie to your watchlist, however you can’t deselect it from your watchlist. I’m sure there could be plenty more improvements I can help resolve, but overall, great job! I know it just came out, and we all knew there were going to be bugs and things to improve on from the start. Keep up the great work!

So the app is great and has so much but is too much shorts that are not really interesting but no Indiana Jones I mean Indiana Jones is even at Disney world. But maybe babies will watch the shorts but I think they are a waste of time and are really stupid and stop supporting gay people it is wrong read your bibles and stop making movies about nerds and wimps and maybe make them about people who actually have talents and stop making your Disney Chanel stuff so stupid they’re so stupid and are not even entertaining like nobody wants to watch people bash each other with a stick in the head those are my complaints and one more thing stop making live action remakes it makes nobody remember the old ones you walk up to a kid and you say have you seen Aladdin and they say yes but they are really just talking about the remake and if you keep making them then don’t try to shove communism and demacratism and atheism down are throats and don’t make stuff so stupid

While I am pleased with the service overall, there are a few things about it that I find to be disappointing. It is mildly inconvenient that my watch list isn’t shown on the main page, but what’s even more inconvenient is the fact that the service doesn’t seem to keep track of where I left off while watching a tv series. Every other streaming platform has a “continue watching” function, but Disney + lacks this ability. On a minor note, the available content is great. However, when I first heard there would be a Disney+ streaming service, the first two shows I got excited about finally being able to stream from beginning to end were The Famous Jett Jackson and The Proud Family. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered neither show was available on the service. I hope one day these get added to the service, but for now. I guess I’ll just settle for That’s So Raven and Lizzie McGuire.

Buggy. Incomplete. Almost like a Beta? While this is a new platform and is bound to have room for improvement on its initial launch, I am surprised (and honestly quite disappointed) that a company of Disney’s caliber neglected to polish their flagship streaming service this much. It fails to incorporate important elements of what I would consider basic streaming user experience while boasting a user interface that feels clunky and often quite glitchy. However their programs are organized decently well which could be a testament to their forethought or the fact that there just isn’t that much variety in content yet. Missing elements: - ANY way to track series or films that you are in the middle of watching. You have to go re-search it again. - Even when you find the new program it does not track which episodes have been completed. - No way to customize your home page to your favorite programs. Glitches: - Switching from user to user will glitch - Loading series will sometimes glitch to where only certain episodes will show- sometimes no episodes will show! - During streaming difficulty in scrubbing to a specific spot Positives: - Disney content. Let’s be honest it’s why we’re all here. Their years of labor and/or buying up other companies’ labor has paid off. - Easy to find a specific show or movie. (Just wish I didn’t always have to!) Long way to go in my opinion to be a polished well established streaming service, but they’re in the right track.
Awful customer service

So I probably spent more then 8 hours talking to customer service and how I was told a different price and how the bundle works and then I find out I’m getting charged more for the subscription then what I was told the day of lunch and I called again today and spoke with two different supervisors that told me two completely different answers on everything and then I had to call again and speak to a manager just to say that they are sorry and that he couldn’t control what his employees say to customers and I find it unacceptable that a well establish company can’t control what pricing they’re employees are giving the customers on the 1800 number this Is a full on scam and for the people that are in charge of this subscription can’t do there jobs then why are they there I’m so upset set I wouldn’t ever what to do this to my favorite company but they basically screwed me over and it’s sad to say Since I’ve loved and supported Disney all of my life and how everyone knows me as a Disney freak since I always make sure I have at least something Disney every day most of the week I look like I’m going to Disney land head to toe

I am 29 years old and will never forget growing up watching Disney movies. When I heard about the streaming service I couldn’t wait to download. Upon downloading I was not upset at all. Neat design, easy to use, and immediately you see newer marvel movies, as well as some of the old classics. The choices are endless. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I first downloaded it on my PlayStation and the app said it couldn’t connect to Disney+. Checked my internet first and everything was good there. Instead just downloaded on my phone for now. I also got to the same message a few times on my phone but it was within the app instead of at first when booting it. Also just to see the amount of videos I tried to go to “A to Z” and see everything and i wasn’t able to get past “Aliens of the Deep”. I do understand that all new apps have kinks to work out so I look forward to seeing the updates, as well as watch it on my PlayStation.
Needs some tweaking.

Big disney fan. I was so excited for this app. I really do love the content. All my favorite movies from my childhood, and all my favorite original series and movies. I love the movies. I get to sit down and enjoy a movie with my daughter for an excellent price thank you disney for thinking about the lower class. I really did think it was going to be expensive and almost didn’t try it out. Here are my buts. When i see a movie and have to leave mid way. I would be nice to login and be able to see and just start it. Instead i have to search for and then press play. And sometimes it restarts. Same for the shows. I love the simpsons but when i go back to watch i have go to the season i was on. Then scroll until i find the last episode. Sometimes its hard because i cant remember and there is no way to tell if i have already seen it. So of you could please work on that, to me, the app would be perfect. Thank you. Every time I click on a video to watch it says oops something went wrong, the sound doesn’t line up with the characters talking, or when it finally does start to work it will buffer forever while my internet is great, and start playing in English AD, then it will almost immediately say oops something went wrong. I don’t even select the English AD it just automatically starts playing and when I try to switch it back to regular English it locks up and takes forever. I can’t even close my phone. Tried to contact support and tried the online chat. Told me my wait time was less than 30 mins. At the 30 min mark it kicked me off. So I called and was on hold for 2 hours just for the person to tell me that he was having trouble with his app too and it was a technical difficulty and to try back in a few hours! I pay for this and don’t want to have to wait to watch it. It’s not even been out that long so why is it already messing up so bad! It would be wonderful to watch all the shows that I loved during my childhood.

Love Disney love that most movies are available. But here&#39;s the caveat that&#39;s not listed. For some movies a not available in your area error message comes up. I&#39;m in the United States. Not sure but maybe if a cable network is showing movie in my area, I have to wait to watch? I&#39;m also a smidgen peeved that recent movie releases currently on cable pay per view, are not available on the Disney stream yet, despite Disney marketing saying that they would be. Two examples are the live action Aladdin and the live action Lion King. No reason why these two aren&#39;t streaming as neither is in theaters now. The only other issue I see so far is the lists. For example, pull up Marvel. Not all Marvel movies are listed under this tab. But if you do a search on an actual movie title it comes up. So all in all this is still a great value and I will probably continue to subscribe. There are so many great movies on here. Hopefully these things I mentioned can be attributed to a new streaming service getting off the ground and will be fixed shortly.

Ok so I got this as part of my 1 year trial as my family are Verizon Wireless Customers. I was looking forward to Natural Geographic but when I searched through the Nat. Geo. Tab I noticed my favorite Nat. Geo. Show wasn’t there. My favorite National Geographic show is Alaska State Troopers. It’s not on there...Why? I mean I understand that Alaska State Troopers isn’t always Family appropriate but it shows the world as it is up in “The Last Frontier”. There is plenty of things that’ll keep me occupied. Also another thing... “Everything” Marvel Comics. The Punisher is Marvel. There may be a NETFLIX series called “The Punisher” but, there are two “The Punisher” Movies that were made, “The Punisher” and “The Punisher: War Zone”. BOTH WERE MADE BY MARVEL! Sure both are Rated R and were made over ten years ago but shouldn’t we get them. Oh and there isn’t Fantastic Four, There’s the TV show but the Original early 2000’s movies and the 2015 remake aren’t on Disney+. There are no X-MEN movies either. The only X-MEN movies that are Rated R are Deadpool, Deadpool 2, and Logan. Come on Disney ADD THEM!!! Add every one of the Movies and the One TV show on to Disney+,Please?
All the favorites, one small problem

Just like everyone else here, I was very excited to use Disney+ and watch all the old favorites along with the new original shows. I’m very happy with the service thus far but I’ve been having an issue with the auto play feature since the release of the app. I use my iPhone X to cast Disney+ movies/shows to my Google ChromeCast. When watching a show, the app will stop streaming after the second episode. It’ll go back to the placeholder screen that says “Ready to cast” but it won’t let me select the next episode. I have to disconnect my phone from the ChromeCast, close the app, then re-open it and reconnect to the ChromeCast. After that I can play the next episode but the same thing happens again after the second episode. Not sure what the issue is, this doesn’t happen when I use other streaming apps like Netflix or HBO GO. A fix to this would be appreciated. Other than that, Disney+ has been great.
Continue Watching Restarts Episode

So, I gave this four stars because I do love the app and would love to give it five stars if only this one problem would be fixed. I was initially annoyed about the no “continue watching” feature but with the update that fixed my problem. Or so I thought... when I first got the continue watching update it worked on all of my devices. Unfortunately, now- no matter what device I am on- it restarts the episode that I was on. The continue watching will show me my show and say 7 mins remaining, or something like that, but when I click on it it will load to the beginning of that episode. This is not the worst because I will fast forward to where I was, but I do feel it is an inconvenience and would love for it get fixed. Again I would like to emphasize my love for this app and getting to rewatch all of my favorite Disney shows and movies. Please fix this little bug so I can change my review to five stars.
Hard for Younger Kids to Navigate

This is a really good app, and I can see it only getting better. Baby Yoda needs to be a profile picture option. I have a sister who has poor vision and can’t read, and the app is hard to navigate for her. She goes off of pictures to find her favorite movies and shows. I think Disney+ needs to take some pointers from Netflix’s kid section. It’s very easy for children to navigate, even if they can’t read. I feel like the categories need to be better organized. I don’t know what a lot of the category titles mean. The content is amazing, but I hope they add more or keep rotating content. I binge watch TV, and I see me running out of things to watch in a couple of months. It seems like the app has content more geared towards kids, but is hard for them to navigate. I love the watchlist though, because I went through all the movies and TV and was able to add her favorites, so she only has to look through those.
Minor “settings” not included with Disney+

There is not a “continue watching” or “recently watched” section so you have to search for what you were previously watching. Then let’s say it’s a TV show, you can’t just press play at the top bc it’ll play episode 1 each time starting you from the beginning. So you can’t press play so you have to search for the episode where you left off. And Disney+ doesn’t make it easier to search for the last episode you watched because all the episodes don’t have that colored bar many streaming services have that show how much of an episode you watched or if you had watched it at all. It looks like an app created for children in it simplicity. These are just some of the “settings” I&#39;ve taken for granted that other streaming services offer aside from this app. Other than these minor problems that I’m sure will come with it’s future updates, it’s content is amazing and worth the price.

So, the interface design is elegant and clean, I haven’t experienced any weird lagging or anything of the sort and the image quality is really great (I can’t say for sure as far as audio because I don’t have a setup that could allow me to fully appreciate this at the moment). However, my biggest issue with the service right now, and this is not just for the iOS app, but for every format including Roku and the website itself, is the fact that there isn’t a “keep watching” section, thus making me have to do a manual search if whatever I’m watching isn’t immediately recommended to me or manually saved to my watchlist. To this I’d also like to point out that when I do the search, I’ll often have to remember where I left off in a series because if I just search what I was watching and press play, it’ll just play from Season 1 episode 1 of whatever series I choose, regardless of the device I’m watching from. Other than that good job guys!
