Until I got through the tutorial and closed the app for a couple days. After that, I open the app and I get a full screen pop up asking me to subscribe. I can do anything with the app and have never had a chance to use it. It’s going to take more than a good looking tutorial to make me use the app at this point.

I’m stuck on the sub page after clicking one edit. I don’t even know how the app works so I can atleast decide if I like it or not. Horrible marketing and strategy. I’ll gladly pay $12 a month for canva and figure out how to do videos!

This story editor could potentially be super cool but for $12/ month or (2.99/week as they say) it’s not worth it. I’m not sure how you’re getting away with calling this a free app just because you do a 3day free trial... and you have to sign up in order to get that free 3day trial.
I’m so disappointed and you totally wasted my time.
Also, it seems pretty apparent that most of the good reviews on here are completely fake.

Let me at least use the app!!!! You gotta stop with the pop up to sub every 5 seconds!!! I don’t even know how to use the app!!! I can’t use the app cause you won’t stop with the begging to sub. Make good apps and let people use them. If the app is good they’ll buy but I’m not going to do a free trial so you hope I forget and you charge me after 3 days... DO BETTER!

The idea behind it is awesome - but it needs more development. I have an IPhone XR and it’s non-responsive to my touch. When I try to scroll to see all of the designs it does nothing. The only design that reacts is the first one which is pre-highlighted. Hopefully this gets fixed because I love the concept of what you have designed. Thanks

While there are several things that are great about this app, one of the things that is not is that you can adjust animations or remove them. Also/ it only can access “camera roll” on your iPhone, not google drive or iCloud- So I have to download all of the pictures from there onto my phone whenever I want to make a new story 🙄

This app used to be completely free and my favorite tool to use as a social media manager. I log on one day and the options are became limited. I login two weeks later and it wouldn’t let me get passed the page forcing you to pay for a subscription. Truly a shame I had to uninstall.

Also it’s too many steps to edit and add photos from my album to the platform. I love the aesthetics but as a platform it’s too complex considering all the other platforms I use as a social media manager.

Deleted it almost immediately. Clicked on the pro button to see what the price would be for the full, which was too expensive and then it wouldn’t let me leave the page to go back and edit a story. I like the app but I haven't used it in a couple of weeks. I don't remember there being a free trial for this app. I don't remember there being a subscription fee either. I would much rather spend a one time fee to purchase the whole app instead of charging me weekly. It was nice while it lasted. The templates are great, just not sure when the switch happened. I went from being able to use the templates only to now find out it was a free trial. I honestly don't remember this app having in-app purchases.

I’m all for supporting apps and devs, but this one blows.
1. Mostly chick/fashion oriented.
2. Only 3 free ones, but to use them, it pops up an ad to force you to subscribe. But it won’t let you say no. I’m not subscribing even to get the 3-day free trial just to try your app in first place. So you can’t go back to the free ones. Close the app and reopen, and it immediately goes to the “subscribe if you want to even look at this app!”
3. $3/wk subscription? Pfft. Cheaper and better ones out there.

But When an app advertises as not having any fees and then waits for you to start a project, then find out you can’t do anything unless you pay. Including leave the upgrade page. It’s shady and deliberately advertising miss information and inferring false expectation. Over promised, under delivered. There are many story edit app options that don’t have the need to deceive potential customers. I would pick any app over this. Lame move devs

Looks like a great premise, I know this app is new so I’m sure there will be tweaks. A few things I wish would be added, the ability to save hexadecimal color codes from one edit segment to transfer to another. Save colors most recently used to a reference palette. Right now if I want to use the same color in two different modules I just have to guess and hope they are close. Would also love the ability to change font size. Not sure if I am missing that option but I can’t find it anywhere. Also I noticed a few of the templates were kind of glitchy. Overall I like it and I think if improvements are made and it will be a great story/video app for social media.

when I downloaded the App everything was free, after the last Update, now almost everything is paying and even the draft I had created was erased. $2.99 weekly? better said ... $12 per month. and the last update did not notify that they began to charge. These templates are great, the app unfortunately, for me randomly decides what photos it will let me use, and ofen doesn’t access my Google Drive. Stuff doesn’t post as advertised, but beautiful templates. I don’t think it works with iPhone, likely amazing on android.

I’m so frustrated with this app. It could be great, however it keeps freezing on me over and over again. It’s not only freezing in the app but it takes a minute to exit the app because the entire phone FREEZES! I’ll wait to see if there’s any kind of update and re-evaluate it later. I love the templates but I can’t even edit them. My gallery doesn’t load, and when it does load it isn’t in the same order as my gallery appears on my phone. So for example, I just downloaded an edited photo from the VSCO app and when I open my gallery on the Story App the picture doesn’t appear as the first photo in my gallery. I’m sure if I took the time to scroll through the gallery I could find the photo but I have over 16,000 photos so that would just ruin my day. It also doesn’t give you the option to search your albums you have saved in your phones photo gallery to further help that situation to work smoother. Currently my gallery isn’t even loading when opening the app so I can’t even use it. I’m connected to WiFi and have good connection so it’s not an iCloud downloading my photos issue because I’m able to use my photo gallery with other apps.

I’ve edited a couple of templates and they do not retain the same lettering or formatting as they do with other apps. You can’t adjust or move the wording, I’ve had this weird faded overlap that doesn’t go away (was not featured on the template, so don’t know why is there). Was excited to pre-order but am completely disappointed.

The app is good, and works except for being a little slow. However, it’s missing the entire point. The entire point is to have videos for story that have a ratio 16:9 but the app saves your stories to post at a ratio of 4:5

I’m all for supporting apps and devs, but this one blows.
1. Mostly chick/fashion oriented.
2. Only 3 free ones, but to use them, it pops up an ad to force you to subscribe. But it won’t let you say no. I’m not subscribing even to get the 3-day free trial just to try your app in first place. So you can’t go back to the free ones. Close the app and reopen, and it immediately goes to the “subscribe if you want to even look at this app!”
3. $3/wk subscription? Pfft. Cheaper and better ones out there.
Don’t waste your time.

Deleted it almost immediately. Clicked on the pro button to see what the price would be for the full, which was too expensive and then it wouldn’t let me leave the page to go back and edit a story. Every time I clicked the back button, it would pop and say “Are you sure?” Yes I’m effing sure! I hate apps like this! If the app is good, people will buy it, quit with this sleazy high pressure BS.

when I downloaded the App everything was free, after the last Update, now almost everything is paying and even the draft I had created was erased. $2.99 weekly? better said ... $12 per month. and the last update did not notify that they began to charge. I understand that you have to monetize, but you also have to be honest and not cheat to capture clients.

Upon opening i was greeted with a very simple tutorial, what makes this app so good is all the different advertisement options that are present and it does things so well compared to other apps.

Until I got through the tutorial and closed the app for a couple days. After that, I open the app and I get a full screen pop up asking me to subscribe. I can do anything with the app and have never had a chance to use it. It’s going to take more than a good looking tutorial to make me use the app at this point.
Doesn’t Work Well

The idea behind it is awesome - but it needs more development. I have an IPhone XR and it’s non-responsive to my touch. When I try to scroll to see all of the designs it does nothing. The only design that reacts is the first one which is pre-highlighted. Hopefully this gets fixed because I love the concept of what you have designed. Thanks

This story editor could potentially be super cool but for $12/ month or (2.99/week as they say) it’s not worth it. I’m not sure how you’re getting away with calling this a free app just because you do a 3day free trial... and you have to sign up in order to get that free 3day trial.
I’m so disappointed and you totally wasted my time.
Also, it seems pretty apparent that most of the good reviews on here are completely fake.

Let me at least use the app!!!! You gotta stop with the pop up to sub every 5 seconds!!! I don’t even know how to use the app!!! I can’t use the app cause you won’t stop with the begging to sub. Make good apps and let people use them. If the app is good they’ll buy but I’m not going to do a free trial so you hope I forget and you charge me after 3 days... DO BETTER!

A wonderful app to use but WHAT THE HECK is wrong now that i am unable to go back to the app as the app launches its shows the pro version promo and the back button on the top left doesn’t work. Please fix it not everyone wants a paid version
Freezing Frustration

I’m so frustrated with this app. It could be great, however it keeps freezing on me over and over again. It’s not only freezing in the app but it takes a minute to exit the app because the entire phone FREEZES! I’ll wait to see if there’s any kind of update and re-evaluate it later. For now, it’s garbage.

Trouble With The Templates

I’ve edited a couple of templates and they do not retain the same lettering or formatting as they do with other apps. You can’t adjust or move the wording, I’ve had this weird faded overlap that doesn’t go away (was not featured on the template, so don’t know why is there). Was excited to pre-order but am completely disappointed.

As soon as the tutorial was over, it kept making this subscriber page pop up. When I tried to exit out it said “Are you sure?” And there was no exiting that page until you clicked the subscribe button. I hate this app. Never download it. It’s unbelievable.

This app used to be completely free and my favorite tool to use as a social media manager. I log on one day and the options are became limited. I login two weeks later and it wouldn’t let me get passed the page forcing you to pay for a subscription. Truly a shame I had to uninstall.

I wish I could add my logo or branded stickers within the app....severely limiting its usefulness. However, the design and current content is amazing quality. The music options are outstanding for the animated video content.

The app is good, and works except for being a little slow. However, it’s missing the entire point. The entire point is to have videos for story that have a ratio 16:9 but the app saves your stories to post at a ratio of 4:5

I’m really liking this App; it could use a feature to change the font size, change the opacity of each image, & add the ability to delete / add layers & change order.
Over all this is a very nice App. PLEASE DON’T screw up the really good progress.

Unusable after the last update

Most of features became paid after the last update (that were free before!) and there is a bug that prevents from closing advertisement popup. Deleting the app, there are others much better.

The stock photo library is glitching so badly I have to close the app and lose all my progress. Unless this issue is fixed I’d just stick to using your own photo library.

I don’t tend to leave reviews on apps and I just delete them if I don’t like them, but this is THE WORST APP. It doesn’t even let you edit anything because it stays stuck on the “purchase” screen. No matter what you do it will just stay stuck on that screenz

So I tried to make a story it basically forced me to subscribe for a free trial. My mistake I said I’d cancel before the three days but guess what. THERES NO OPTION OR ANYTHING TO CANCEL !! Deleting immediately and so mad. Way to force people to buy from your stupid app that doesn’t even work!
