Don’t say it’s “compatible” when it doesn’t work for iPhone 6 😕😐
Terrible customer support
by Goontoo on 2019/10/21 05:49
This game has terrible cutomer support. When trying to get an issue resolved you only get a pre-generated response and no real help at all!
Bugs bugs and oh yeah bugs
by Tapstar2k on 2019/10/21 05:08
The main quest line has been bugged for months, if not a year or so. I’ve done every solution they have given. Hangman’s Wood does not progress properly and reloads at the same dead end. GL to you all, I won’t be spending any more time on this.

Not enough refinement
by jefhai on 2019/10/21 01:28
Great for early access, but just because it’s a mobile game doesn’t mean it shouldn’t live up to Skyrim level detail. We need a true Elder Scrolls game on mobile. Even if it’s the size of Morrowind... I’ll pay $60 for a true Elder Scrolls game on mobile, but not micro transactions!
Great app. !!
by Metal Kitty on 2019/10/21 00:20
Fantastic game and thank y’all !! MAGA🇺🇸
Worth forking over cash? Not yet.
by Google-centric on 2019/10/21 00:20
Entertaining app, but Bethesda makes it clear you need to pay to actually play (at a decent pace) before even seeing if it’s actually fun. Waiting to open standard chests is irritating. Why waste 5 seconds of my time? To trick me into spending that gem? Yes, it’s equal to a penny, but still, it’s draining my patience. I mean I earned them, right? What if I actually spend $5 for a chest? Do I have to wait an hour before that opens? I wouldn’t put it past you. Don’t get me wrong, the mechanics are awesome and make it feel like a polished app, but I find the story and development too shallow. The only fun part is leveling up but I assume that would be far and between the higher you progress. It’s early access and you’re not forced to spend anything, but I know there are tons of frugal individuals like myself who are more than willing to pay as long as you first let us play and have a good story to sell us.
Great Elder Scrolls Mobile Port
by emlit! on 2019/10/21 00:12
If you’re looking for an enjoyable RPG for your mobile device and loved Skyrim, Blades is worth a try. It’s a beautiful game, not overly complex, and fun to play. It’s easy to get sucked in for hours if you’re not careful. I like the town development mechanic, which helps adds another element to the game. While the game would benefit from Infinity Blade combat, the fighting system isn’t bad. The quests are a bit on the sparse side and a few more dungeon environments are needed. Regardless, it’s a really good mobile RPG that scratched a much-needed itch.
Could be so much better but still solid
by sad sad mannnnn on 2019/10/20 23:16
I really like the game, it reminds me a lot of the time I spent playing my favorite game in the world (Skyrim). I am disappointed by a few things, though. First of all, why is there no jumping/falling/terrain movement? It’s super frustrating to not be able to walk forward because there’s a 1 foot tall log in front of me...step over it? Come on Bethesda, it’s 2019. Second, it seems as though there are only two difficulties for quests: ridiculously easy & brutally difficult. I enjoy difficult games, so I like that there are hard quests, but I think it would make the game twice as good if the difficulty of quests increased gradually instead of going from so easy it’s boring to ridiculously hard. There’s only a couple of intermediate difficulty quests where you can build experience, gain levels, etc. Third, why are the NPCs so boring? In Skyrim I loved going and talking to all the NPCs because you’d always find cool side quests and get deeper into the lore of the ES universe. I think more diverse dialogue options and more depth to the NPCs would add a lot to this game. I think the chest system is alright but there should be other ways to grind materials. Combat system is awesome and my favorite part of the game. My only complaints are that once you start a fight, you’re in the fight until you or the enemy is killed. This destroys any kind of rogue/stealth play style that made Skyrim so much fun. Please add perks/abilities/spells related to this play style like sneak, illusion magic, speech, etc. Also where’s the conjuration magic? The Abyss is GENIUS and I’m so glad it’s a part of the game, would’ve been a really cool feature in Skyrim. I realize this is mobile and the functionality will be limited in some ways, but I see a lot of potential for the official release of this game and I think if you guys take some of my requests to heart this could be something really special. Great work!
So Far
by Anonymous 3.0 on 2019/10/20 22:38
Game will not run on my iPad Pro with up-to-date software. Many tickets, no response. Months, and many updates, later, it still doesn’t run.
Great graphics. Fairly fun game. Way too expensive.
by cad2112 on 2019/10/20 22:05
The graphics in this game are astounding. The game is fairly fun, a bit repetitive for my taste, and far too expensive. Yes one can play for free and enjoy it, but if you want to sink your teeth in prepare to open your wallet. I guess I was hoping for a bit more depth like Skyrim. I paid what? Some $50 USD for it and got some serious usage and a ton of depth out of it. Blades wants a hefty sum that could be blown in game very quickly. The lack of depth keeps me clinging to my wallet. Which I am generally more than happy to part with for Bethesda. It will be interesting to see where they take Blades. If it goes deeper I may be persuaded to open my wallet a bit. In the meantime I’ll wander around the Abyss and wish for more.
Could be great.
by crillic on 2019/10/20 20:57
It’s fantastic but the controls are iffy. That and I keep getting booted at random times. Please fix. I want this game to be a 5 star number one app.
Surprising and Immersive
by Lyonsishere on 2019/10/20 18:02
This game is completely immersive; wonderful. Better graphics than the original oblivion on a phone, I’m stunned. I would recommend to anyone.
PLEASE ADD A PET SYSTEM!
by fvtcr on 2019/10/20 15:24
This could be like a secondary character system. Your pets will help you fight and collect chests. Keep them in a beast den and make them stronger.PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE TO BLADES IN A NEARBY FUTURE UPDATE!.
Waiting for app support
by Tobdude on 2019/10/20 14:57
Has been over a week with no response. Advertised discounts/special deals in app and didn’t honor them. Huge disappointment from a loyal customer.
Runs better on Android hardware!
by dharmaboy1 on 2019/10/20 13:22
Bethesda, I love this game and it was running a solid 55 - 60fps framerate on my OnePlus 7 Pro but when I upgraded to the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the performance degraded to something more of 30fps framerate when doesn't feel as smooth/fun to play anymore. Please unlock full performance and iPhone hardware! Otherwise, a 5 star game indeed! Thank you.
Well it was fun at first.
by Jerome from Nibbatown on 2019/10/20 12:22
It’s a well made mobile ES game. Up until a certain point. Then they make it painfully obvious that it’s a pay to progress game. I had superior and remarkable everything. Weapon and armor. Yet I couldn’t even get past the 6th or 7th story mission because they were still too difficult. They make it so obvious that they want you to pay them for gems to skip everything. I thought you were better than this Bethesda. But I guess you’ve just turned into yet another greedy development company. Honestly I’d rather just pay $10 for the game upfront but nope, you guys need that micro transaction income because ya’ll are getting desperate.
Chest
by that_one_guy_sam on 2019/10/20 10:49
The chest system makes the game not so great.
Pretty Good
by Mammon1836392 on 2019/10/20 05:59
It’s pretty good. Definitely not as good as Skyrim but still good. Gets boring after a little bit
Downgrade again
by Saboteur X on 2019/10/20 04:32
Last update made this game unfair again. Overpowered enemies, overpriced repairs, etc. pay to play. Thanks Bethesda

I love this game so much it’s so addicting
Break out your wallet
by Bert from the Coast on 2019/10/20 03:59
I don’t have a problem with micro transactions, but they went overboard with them. You’re pretty well crippled without spending money. And you are only really buying bandaids. It’s just set up as a huge money sink. Until they revamp the system, or change gem costs, this game isn’t worth playing unless you’ve got a several hundred dollars to sink into this game.
Issue with balance
by SPLaurent on 2019/10/20 03:12
With the last update, enemy spells are way overpowered. Almost impossible to beat
Interesting setup.
by Oooouch wasted my time!! on 2019/10/20 02:45
Would have been nice to very rooms a bit more but the activities and action are fair to keep interest. Reduction in chest timing would be more appreciated. It is worth the effort thusfar. Only played for a day and got to level 6. Pretty straight forward. I like it. Plan to continue
Help!
by Lilly the unicorn 🦄 on 2019/10/20 01:09
I’m sooo confused! I opened up the game after installing it. It gave a little story which I thought was cool and then showed me how to attack. Everything’s going great and it plops me in the middle of a forest with no tutorial, directions, or anything what so ever. Like what do I need to do to advance and level up? I can walk around but that’s about it. I can’t interact with any of the objects, trees, etc. What do I do??
Why is it so grey? Who is my character?
by nniiiiccckkk nnaaaammmeeee on 2019/10/20 00:53
I have loved and played all the previous elder scrolls games. Morrowind being my favorite. I was excited for this game but i hate it. Its always in the dang town? Like how do i explore? It doesnt have that free open world thing like the other games. Even elder scrolls online has this effect for the most part. Every time i open the app im in the drab grey boring village and it makes me want to quit immediatley because of how boring it is. Why dont we start out as slaves? Who are we in this game? If they made some intro and gave the player more investment into the game due to backstory and what not it would be cool. Its almost like only a fan of TES could love this. Theres no mercy for newcomers. I would hate for someone having this to be their first TES experience. The way you start off and the way you enter the game each time is just terrible in my opinion.
Game closing out

Can you please update game keep closing me out other than that this is an amazing app
Microtransaction garbage
by VorpalHex on 2019/10/19 23:31
Tech wise, the game is fine if a bit simple. Unfortunately it is marred by the usual microtransaction garbage found in such "free to play" games. Silly limits forcing you to pay money or time to open chests, an unwanted "build your base" mechanic that requires either regular babysitting or paying more money, and of course a cash shop for other boons. Beyond the pale and a mark of shame on the elder scrolls franchise - Bethesda, what happened to you?
Beautiful
by totally obsessed in this game on 2019/10/19 23:21
Stunning graphics, easy control, exciting missions. All what you would want in a game. I did have one concerning issue that probably won’t happen to you others. Whenever I clicked on the app to play, the game for some reason crashed. I did it over and over again. Then, I found that I had to update it. I did that and, hoping and expecting it to open again, it continually crashed on me. The crash happens almost immediately after I open the app. Please fix this issue, it would really make me happier. Thanks, and for all those who have not downloaded this yet, download now and enjoy this beautiful work of art. You guys please help my app to open please I’m desperate for more blades!
Super fun, good graphics, but crashes often.
by gayestlord on 2019/10/19 23:14
I like this game, it’s super fun and has great graphics. The reason I gave 4 stars, though, is because the app keeps on crashing mid-quest and it’s a little bit glitchy.
How the what?!!!!
by LightYagani on 2019/10/19 22:58
How the fkkkk did they get this on a phone!!! Mmmmm been playing elder since Morrowind. Gimmy more please!!! Finally something to play on phone!!!!
Totally Addicted!
by bunga5180 on 2019/10/19 21:28
I have been playing this game for over a month and I love it so much. And havent paid a CENT! Ive progressed in the game and done really well and at the second highest type of armor without paying any money. My boyfriend got me really into Skyrim but he lives 5 hours away so I dont get to play it much so I needed a substitute and I love this game. It fits with my busy life - good for when I barely have time to play and suits my needs when I have lots of time to play. Sure, some things can be repetitive when you’re just doing the side jobs and not the main quests, but then it just makes it easier to get money and supplies. Plus, it’s a mobile game! Dont expect Playstation or Xbox quality on a phone. But the graphics are absolutely beautiful, and I love playing this game!
Impressed
by newest old fan on 2019/10/19 21:25
So I just found out about this game and I’m a massive fan of the series so of course I had to download. I’ve been playing a few hours now and I am already hooked. Totally delivers the graphics and game style you expect just simplified for my phone. Currently building up my town and player in one of the most beautiful and customizable game series that you can find. 100% recommend for new players and old fans alike!

Dose not support
by Derpy niple on 2019/10/19 18:29
SERIOUSLY I waited 4 months for this to come out and The game dosen’t support my device. It looks like a good game but I can’t play because it dose not support my device. I wish it did but it dosen’t so maybe you could make it available on IPad mini 2. Thanks for reading this. P.S I really think you should make it support iPad mini 2
Very Good Game
by Amelia413 on 2019/10/19 17:11
Great game! There are only a few things that I would suggest, like more of an open world option for exploring and a way to be a little more mischievous. But that’s it! Good game 10:10
Communication errors
by adam wade adams on 2019/10/19 15:40
It seems lately I’m plagued with communication errors. It also seems to make my phone run hot. The Halloween theme they just dropped is cool. On iPhone XS Max. UPDATE: Please get this thing balanced. I don’t know what changed. But even basic enemies are now OP. Frustrating. If we need to spend money to not die constantly just tell me now so I can delete this off my phone UPDATE 2: Goblin wizards seriously OP, or anything using poison. Impossible to find sapphires.
Does not work with iPadOS 13
by KBowz on 2019/10/19 15:27
Ever since iPadOS 13 came out the app just crashes when I try to launch it on my 9.7” iPad Pro. I contacted Bethesda and was told by their developers “Yea, it’s a known issue, you will just have to wait until we get around to fixing it.” Which stinks, because there is a special Fall event going on that I just can’t enjoy.
Unbalanced; waiting to see if intentional
by Skyler 612 on 2019/10/19 14:43
Basically a melee game with promise. Overall it’s fun but very unbalanced. Healing options are very limited and get worse as you progress. It’s an early dev game so I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt that it will improve soon BUT it’s most likely an intentional pay to play mechanism that will send this game into a rather full trash can... Too bad; could have been great.

Redundant, but a fun time-killer
by Concerned_Player654 on 2019/10/18 23:59
A bit dry and redundant mechanical wise - but overall enjoyable for Elder Scroll fans who enjoy the classic dungeon / reward pattern.
I did enjoy Blades, but...review is invisible here

All of the quests and jobs are 5 skulls and it seems I will never advance to play any of them. It’s just no fun anymore.

Latest Update is unplayable
by Skitz66 on 2019/10/18 22:24
Graphics are amazing. The story line is ok, although needs more frequent updating and level tweaking. With the Halloween update, the game is unplayable. At level 39 I have completed all quest content. Jobs are consistently 10-15 levels above me. Which just means death and draining my money to pay for repairs. Since the spell casting upgrade, I am one-shotted by any spellcasting mob of my level. I cannot progress in the Abyss because 3 level 30 casters will end my run. There is literally nothing I can do in game without paying loads of real money which I will not do.

Good until about Level 25
by mfoxxe on 2019/10/18 19:16
I Love this series, and this game was great and playable until about level 25. As that point the only options are to pay lots of money (I already paid $15 to get here) or so lame jobs over and over again. Even then you have to repair and it’s almost impossible to move the story forward. I like the main quest and wish I could play it, but I think I would have to pay $50+ for maybe a week or two of more game. I also only play maybe 30-45 min a day. I miss the old days where you could just buy a game.....
Good Concept, Great Lore, Bugged Game
by HateCraze on 2019/10/18 18:37
I love Elder Scrolls. I’ve played them since Morrowwind. That said this game crashes constantly, combos don’t register well, and the cost to reward ratio is way off. Please fix this game and make it the game we all know you can make.

Don’t Waste Your Money on this game!
by Stquincy on 2019/10/18 16:40
So unbalanced with regard to combat. I’m so mad that I spent additional real $$$ on this game. Don’t spend any real money on this game. It blows. Don’t believe the hype or 5-star reviews. Money grabbing BS game.
Typical money grab
by Javaldas on 2019/10/18 11:49
Ok so the game looks amazing, graphics are very nice and some cool quests and story line, that being said there are issues. As many have mentioned the chest timers are a joke and tedious, the cost to repair armor vs the quest rewards is not at all balanced and why should it cost me more to build a house when my town is lvl 5 than it did when it was level 1?? I’m using the same materials!! The reason?, this is just your typical money grab from Bethesda, many of their games are exactly alike. Once you reach a certain lvl in game play your forced to spend money to advance. Sorry Bethesda not again, not ever again. I uninstalled. Oh, and did you ever notice how Bethesda NEVET seems to reply to these reviews from their players....ever. I challenge someone from Bethesda to respond to my review.....even if it’s the janitor.
Really upset
by Mike$25 on 2019/10/18 10:42
Beyond upset with this game. Things were going great up until I reached level 34 and this new bogus update! Two skull level and I’m getting smashed on trying to kill the undead! Green toxic poison WIPES my healh bar in SECONDS! Thanks Bethesda! Trying to force people to buy buy buy! -insert middle finger here -
A great game..if your rich
by krispe1 on 2019/10/18 10:06

New update Nerfed the game
by Spetsu on 2019/10/18 03:07
The greed of this company is getting worse. The abyss has seriously been nerfed and good rewards and progressing to deeper levels is now impossible. Couple that with selective item shopping in the town stores and you’re driven to buy the loot boxes. That’s what they are.? I liked the Game at first but the latest adjustments are just more attempts to squeeze money from this game.
Good game....BUT.....
by Nikky1966 on 2019/10/17 22:55
Be prepared to pay a lot of money if you want to progress! There’s never enough money for people like these developers! They have no shame! And no free world ability! Hate that! Yes game play is great, BUT! It’s the same looking caves, and dungeons! Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Update 9-4-2019 iVE SPENT OVER 100.00 playing this game, not on my one year old iPad, it keeps crashing, so I’ve done all the things one is supposed to do, restart the game, the iPad, uninstall the app, reinstall...etc....and IT STILL CRASHES CONSTANTLY!!! COME ON DEVELOPERS! FIX IT! Update 10/17/2019 It’s been over two months and now the app crashes every time I attempt to open it! I’ve spent over 100.00 building up my character! I’ve sent more than two email pleading with them to fix the bug. I have a 2018 iPad and should have no problems playing the game! They won’t fix it!
Why?
by Julie Marden on 2019/10/17 22:10

by RyannMB on 2019/10/17 19:36
I have really enjoyed playing, and am shocked that a game of such high quality can be with me anywhere I go for free. There are in app purchases, but I haven’t found it necessary to buy anything yet.
Have some ideas.
by wolfeman1989 on 2019/10/17 19:00
I like to start by saying I’m a huge Skyrim fan., but this needs to be more like the real Skyrim. The context of the game is cheesy and not well thought out, each dungeon is slow processing and the controls are not what you expect from a elders scrolls game play. My idea would be take all the maps from pubg and combine them to make Skyrim, that way it would be an open world.then just add older ruin structures with people.. and missions with monsters. Easy...
Too costly to maintain weapons
by Jsf12 on 2019/10/17 18:48
I spend 750-1500 to repair my equipment after every mission. The rewards need to be more than that range. I am a level 23. Can these possibly be reduced? When a mission gives you 1600 gold coin but you have to spend almost all of it to repair the rewards are almost pointless. This is true even if the reward is not gold. I end up having to sell equipment/supplies to repair.
PAY TO PLAY

Love this game but something about potions needs to change.
by Power Pringle on 2019/10/16 23:21
Love this game and I’m going to keep this review short, everything is amazing in this game it doesn’t blow anything up for micro transactions and if you ask me you can get a lot of gems with spending money on this game and it makes it fun that it’s now blowing up micro transactions all in your face. But let me talk about potions. Health potions to be clear. Garlic is an common item yet so hard to get. That or lavender. Yeah you have to grind to get items but even the alchemist over prices her stuff and it has mad the game well let’s just say unenjoyable from this part. It’s hard to complete some quests or missions without health potions granted that some of the maps have food lying around the other maps don’t. And it’s extremely hard to grind out missions just so I can make health potions. Chests will sometimes give you garlic or the alchemist ingredients you need which is amazing but I just feel that there should be a constant stock on ingredients at the alchemist and it would be easier to get money and buy ingredients off her instead of sometimes finding key ingredients that are suppose to be “common” to get. Other than that this game is FANTASTIC KEEP IT GOING PLEASE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The core gameplay is a worse version of the Infinity Blade series. There are also many time constraints which make you wait hours at first then days and weeks and maybe some make you wait months but I won’t be sticking around to find out.

Initially I gave this a 5 star rating early in my playing. Great graphics, fairly pay to win but with some flexibility but as I reached higher levels (36) it has pretty much become impossible. I really liked the game at first, but as I can no longer progress despite augmented armor and weapons, my expenditure on such has proved utterly hopeless. Now the only resort to to do the repetitive Abyss over and over. Too bad. The final blow is it’s pretty much impossible to contact support.
Good But...
by Splataboy on 2019/10/16 20:40
Great game but needs a lot of work to actually keep u here or make u want to actually play a lot. Character scaling to enemies is pretty bad ... you could get fresh new upgraded armor way ahead of when u could if u are smart , you would think you would be stronger or at least be able to defend better but no there literally no change throughout the whole game u will always be very underpowered for most of the game including quests and just in general even if u are at the correct lvl u will be way weaker for some dumb reason most of the time even if your over the required level by even 3 levels.

Always deleting reviews
by Patrickingoldenvalley on 2019/10/16 19:11
I check back on my reviews to see how often they are deleted. This is the third time I have rewritten a review for this game. It is a horrible game. When it was released it was about 20% complete. The amount of greed from the company is and was so bad they updated the game to lower the amount of micro transactions! Just terrible. Bethesda is on my Do Not Buy list. They have not released a complete game in a long time. Their corporate motto must be charge them full price weekly
Did it again
by bVBg eqkl;rwn oi;vsdjzxl on 2019/10/16 18:50
Developers did it again. Great game but when there is a new version it undoes some needed corrections. Love the new quests. But repairs now cost too much AGAIN, certain opponents deal way too much damage AGAIN, very slow switching between weapon and shield, ranking system does not properly reflect actual difficulty AGAIN, and the better chests have all but disappeared. Really love playing and anxiously awaiting a new update.

I love this game. I play it every moment I’m free until I get home to my Xbox where I’m actually playing Morrowind. Would also highly recommend playing it to. Even though it’s difficult the game is actually really fun!
Pay-to-play or grind
by Digghappy on 2019/10/16 13:29
As other reviewers have noted, the visual design of the game is beautiful. More folks have crafted loving responses to the awful pay-to-win, gem-based conspicuous consumption issue, which is still valid. The holiday update was fun for a couple of days but the game is a repetitive grind that doesn’t even come close to the console/PC versions. Who wants to grind for gold just to hand all their cash monies over to Lond? His trade-in price scheme is a ripoff. I mean, I feel bad about leaving the villagers to all of the goblins, and necromancers, and assorted whatnots, but jeez, have you seen the costs of enchants these days? And the attitude that goes along with it. Quite frankly, some of these villagers are quite rude. How can you not remember my name? I’m the one who kills all of your trolls and made everything look like a castle instead of busted up burnt. You know what, I think I’m going to sit right here and wait for some chests to open. They can save themselves for awhile until they stop gouging me for services and start paying me in a fair wage. Have fun with the liches. Uninstall until Bethesda has a new CEO.

Game is having problems
by iceangel8505 on 2019/10/16 07:34
Every time I try to open the game it instantly automatically closes on me I can’t keep it open, an I’m level 51 now when I hit lvl 51 it didn’t give me my skill points, & on top of it I need more major quests to do because the little jobs are getting a little boring
Compared to its state of development, it is junk. Four stars
by Dudyclause on 2019/10/16 05:57
Here’s the thing. It’s nice, but they could make more money with half priced and half silver chests. It should take thirty minutes to fix. This we do people. We rate it lower until they fix it. They did a splendid job with some atrocious game design and stars should reflect that until they longer than is acceptable. Then they dont deserve four stars. It should take no more than thirty minutes to fix silver chests and they will more money. Just say its its junk for now and they refuse to fix it and people will see that its a beta bethesda isnt committed to fixing quick enough. Chests. Should start at ten gems and take thirty mi uspts so down to five. They will make much more money when people feel like spending money is worth it, and they will greedily fix gold chests, and the other issues and probably update better. Other than that.., This game is awesome! It’s in beta. Well. Um. It’s not at my standards yet but whatever. It is so versatile, you can play it like you want. It has beta problems and some lackluster, but it is all ready good. Mobile games are very annoying and allot of games are just made a certain way and have limits they don't need. This is an elder-scroll game, you can do elder-scroll crap. Change all your rings in mid swing (enemie’s) shoot a spell, do it again, to optimize weapons or getting hit, fine you can do that. Why? Because dragon breaks. According to the laws of probability you could have had each load out, load out and all the probabilities (that actually get chosen by people in different timelines) get merged in dragon breaks, so you can do that crap.

Eh.
by Kee gra-Boldahg on 2019/10/16 02:25
It’s so. . . Flat, I guess is the word. Boring, maybe. Good for passing time but, like all games nowadays, focuses waaaaay too much on micro-transactions. You can’t even change the name of your city or character after starting either, nor can you delete the save file because it’s account based. Not the worst mobile game I’ve played, but there are certainly better time-wasters than this.

I’ve tried turning my phone off and on again, deleting the app and the app data and redownloading, and waiting for up to ten minutes on the loading screen. Nothing worked. I wish I hadn’t gotten so addicted to the game before it wouldn’t let me get back in. Please fix it so I can get back to being addicted!
Scam and fraud
by Nightwng2000 on 2019/10/16 00:23
What is being described as a "lag" is, in fact, an intentional programming freeze of player functions. This isn't "stun", it's ocurring even when not in combat. The control of your character ceases while all other activity, including enemy attacks and even background setting such as leaves falling, continues. "lag" involves ALL activity freezing, causing a stutter effect. The end purpose is to force players to purchase addons such as gems to continue to play. One can also see from reviews and posts on Bethesda's forums that this "lag" occurs with batches of players at different times so as to claim it is not intentional when clearly it is. Several tech industry legal experts are now investigating and are seeing this fake "lag" as a tool to force some players to make unnecessary and over inflated costly purchases just to play. Bethesda has fallen into the mobile game pay to play trap and the developers and publisher are taking advantage through unethical and very likely illegal programming methods. Players who cheat or abuse the system are punished and banned by game companies for their unethical acts. It's time developers and publishers were held to high standards, as well as the law, as well. Maybe the US and other countries should adopt the same system as some European countries and ban games that use the in game purchase systems. Maybe then we'll find more ethical developers and less "lag" filled games. Update 1.4 further breaks the balance by reducing your effectiveness to one fourth what it was for those who are not paying to strengthen their character, even past level 50 which has a partial cap set to it to further force purchases. The investigation by expert programmers and attorneys into the company's and developer's illegal activities has been given a boost by this latest update. It's time they were held responsible for their illegal acts.

Love this series
by GainGreeen on 2019/10/01 03:09
I have loved and played this series for a while now. They are notoriously detailed and isn’t the kind of game you can rush through in a Ref Bull binge on Saturday night. That’s actually the cool part to me. I’ve spent like 10 bucks and really didn’t have to but I was so impatient and excited to play that I just pulled the trigger on it. I’m level 11 now and it absolutely got a lot harder on me quickly and suddenly. My town is level 5 because I only recently started concentrating on upgrading it. It changes a lot of the game up and provides more options for quests. I’ve got okay armor, green shield with fire resist, a legendary sword that is pretty sweet and a green pendant. It’s a little harder to find premium gems than I’d like on quests but as you level up they award you with decent bags of them. Graphically it looks identical to the console version of the game. Only request I have for developers is to make the 3rd person zoom out option available like on the console version of the game. I’m just WAY more of a third person RPG’er than first person. I’m an older gamer and first person makes me dizzy sometimes. JS. Please keep working on this because I’m hooked and can’t wait to see where this goes. I played Order n Chaos for 3 years and would grind for hours to get what I needed to upgrade stuff. I also spent about 2,000 bucks on stuff but felt that every dollar was worth it. Don’t regret any of it. This could be my next “every free second” RPG.
Perfect for mobile
by inkdupskin on 2019/06/20 12:23
I've played this for awhile now. I also read all the reviews where people are saying is boring or hard around level 9. Here's the deal, this game is awesome if played correctly I'm currently level 24, with my town about level 7 ( just a bit under ), I don't know if people are not building their towns up, but that actually expands the game, brings in new missions, upgrading shops gives better options to craft or buy with in game currency. Early on when things are easy upgrade your inventory slots and chest capacity with the free premium gems they give you ( I get a lot free fighting in the dungeons) I have over 700 now, never bought anything. Time your chest timers around your work day, open gold while you sleep, never run into waiting issues. As far as combat and complaining about dying, here's a tip get the healing dodge and upgrade it, choose your talents and perks wisely, craft health absorbing armor and jewelry, with the right loadout, and proper potion planning, no quest is too difficult, the challenging ones are harder because they're supposed to be, you'll have a wonderful feeling of accomplishment when they drop a free legendary chest on you. I'm level 24, all eleven gear, rings and necklace, usually have 15-20 various chests to cycle through, over 700 premium gems saved up from free drops, haven't spent a dime of real life currency. Play smart play often, this is an unbelievable free offering from the elder scrolls franchise!!!!
Fantastic, fantastic!!!
by Johnny Johnny Sykes on 2019/08/01 16:38
I played for a month before writing this review because I understand it is still a beta release, Blades, in my opinion is by far the best game on a cellphone and trust me that I should be a critic I have played and deleted thousands of games. With all that being said Blades has amazing graphics that I would expect on a console, the gameplay is amazingly polished especially because you can tell they are improving it daily, when I first started Blades would shut down or freeze every so often (once a day) and now I cannot remember the last time that has happened. The pace of the game seems perfect to me as some days I don’t have as much time I will open the treasure chests and construct new buildings in my city and on the days I want to grind for gold, material or weapons etc etc... Blades surely lets me decide my own pace. I believe Bethesda is by far the best game developing company ever to make games so this is not a impartial review, I already knew I would love this game as I have from everything they have ever released. So far the only thing I would like added to Blades is the ability to change between first person and third person as so many of Bethesda games have done in the past, it is amazing that this game is free because I dropped many other games off of my phone, Blades is all I need. Thank you Bethesda and also a thanks goes out to whoever read this book I just wrote.
Entertaining
by Tug Boat Builder on 2019/06/21 02:00
The game is entertaining and can easily be finished with f2p. P2P will obviously have a massive advantage, but this is almost completely mitigated late game. The game becomes repetitive and a grind after level 35ish, which is fine for me and many other players, but may not be your ideal game. As a higher level it will take hours of gameplay for a single level with the game only currently having a few different maps and job types; maybe 40 different jobs in total. The mission difficulty is currently far to easy as once you can make the top gear you can stand still against the hardest enemies in a job for a full minute before they will kill you; add in abilities that heal/mitigate damage and they can't harm you. The developers are actively updating, but are sadly making the game easier and easier. Overall I am happy giving it a 5 star since it has entertained me and will continue to entertain me for many hours. I would suggest to the developers to make the game harder, and perhaps add in kill stats to know how many kills you have and damage you have done. Perhaps in in-game dossier to see enemy stats. My biggest issue is that the level-up rewards are completely unbalanced and worthless. 300,000 experience for a level and 5 grand soul gems was rather disappointing and should either be converted to far higher amounts or simply give us gems.
Strong Start
by Supahfly90 on 2019/06/19 04:30
Currently this game is in Early Access as I write this review. As a long time fan of the Elder Scrolls series I had my guard up when starting this game. It’s not an open-world as you might expect. It’s quite linear where you have to upgrade your town after it’s been destroyed and you do this by completing quests and jobs to collect gold, materials, and equipment for your character. So it has all of the basic RPG elements. The reason why I have given it five stars is because of how well the system works on a mobile game. Most mobile games are terrible in my opinion and this one has quality. There are the options to open up chests quicker and have more inventory slots and gold by paying real money, but you don’t feel as if you have to pay real money to actually progress and enjoy the game. Just be patient. The graphics are truly incredible for a mobile game and the ability to seamlessly switch from portrait to landscape mode and have the game keep up is impressive. I do wish there was more variety to the dungeon layouts as well as to the settings for the dungeons. Such as having open layouts where you don’t feel like you’re going in such a linear path and I think it would give it more of an “open world” feel.
Beautiful money pit
by Brindlehund on 2019/10/13 20:12
I am at level 36, so have spent time and money on this game. It is fun and frustrating. Game play is good, I like the way you can combine spells and weapons play. Graphics are beautiful. It is worth just looking around in the game. The money pit is subtle. It is hard to find or buy the ingredients for health potions and they are rare in chests. Healing skills are not easy to use, and unless you only do easy quests and jobs, you will need health potions, lots of them. Many jobs are over your level. With health potions you can tackle them, but without them you can only handle the lower level jobs. At this point, I have spent serious money on the game and still have a stack of jobs too difficult for my character. You can buy missing ingredients with gems and you can buy gems with real money. You will eventually have to spend money, lots of it, to challenge yourself. A smaller frustration is you cannot use even high level two handed weapons on enemies near your level. Neither the two handed weapon, nor your spells will offer sufficient defense. Another frustration is the merchants never seem to have enough gold to buy the loot you don’t need, and if you sell low level supplies, you will have a really tough time finding them later on. This means you need a large pack. You can increase your pack size with skill points or gems. You will get a few gems in the game, but not as many as you need. Best phone game around, but expensive.
Great start
by the kid with the hat on 2019/05/08 17:43
I think its fun and it's got potential. Obviously right now there's not a lot of variety and some parts are pretty unbalanced, but it looks beautiful and reminds me of the console games without just trying to copy them (although i was a little sad the bears weren't tougher). I think y'all did a great job so far, and here's just a few more specific suggestions I hope y'all consider: 1. Quick weapon/shield swap button in combat. Considering the dungeons currently consist entirely of walking up to enemies and fighting them one on one, the fact that in challenging missions you often need to open up the menu to optimize your loadout for every other battle is kind of a pain. Eg, the way most crypt levels are all wights and skeletons, which have the exact opposite resistance/weakness. Does it remind me of the console games? Yeah. Is it still annoying? Yeah. A button in the corner to quick swap your loadout would be awesome. 2. Library or something. I'm sure y'all are working on lots more buildings already, but i'd just like to suggest that one hold the information on enemy weaknesses, resistances, abilities etc. It's just confusing to try to remember the tips. You could even make it quest based, like the researcher guy says go kill 10 wights and he'll add them to the library or whatever. Just an idea to add more variety to the town and help the player keep track of all the game elements.
Fix it
by 41029110000 on 2019/05/03 06:01
This game has great potential but it’s not there yet , I have been playing a couple of days now and I’ve noticed that it’s very hard to continue with out paying money as far as graphics go it’s wonderful but it still lags and glitches a lot , the thing that bothers me is that I was on a level that 4/5 skill and that’s not that hard but I killed 4 troll who had hit/attacked a lot more than the last but even though I have a full bar of health I some how die from two hits?, not to mention almost every time I tried to hit a button to use my magic or my abilities it wouldn’t let me , the game has so much potential but what bothers me is you have to pay to win . The features I wish they would add are some of the simple ones that I think would make a really big difference and let the player enjoy the game more , like being able to carry around food that would be awesome one level I only had two things to eat and ultimately ended up losing , I wish you could find more building materials sometimes if I’m luck I could get like 3 maybe 4 on a quest or job , I also feel they could maybe allow followers that would be cool but this game has a lot of potential. Thanks for making a game like this for the phone but I hope to see you improve it in the future I wouldn’t mind if you had to pay like 10 bucks for a full game like Skyrim kinda rather than pay like 100+ to get what I need to complete a level then ultimately pay more plus some in the future.
Huge potential
by CptSteampunk on 2019/06/16 18:44
So far, I’m really enjoying this game. The combat is unique, way different from what I would have ever expected. It’s a really good surprise. I like the combat a lot, and since this is a mobile game, it makes it easy to use, so it’s not overwhelming you just trying to get one hit in like some other games I have played. Story isn’t too engaging just yet, but I’m only level 9 as of writing this. The chest unlocking feature, I’ve seen this a lot and I quite frankly enjoy opening silver chests, since they’re worth they hour long wait. Gold chests are also exciting to open. Wooden chests almost always have resources I badly need to build up my town. When I get new items, I’m actually just constantly checking if stuff gets easier so I can have more of a challenge, and progress in this good game. Building up a town to unlock missions is a way to make you prepared for other missions and an easy way to add new characters into the story, so as you develop your city, so does the story. This is a great idea, glad you did it. Great mobile game, easy to learn how to play and what you do, and it’s really fun. Okay, a big thing that I think can change is the quest system. So far it’s just repeating the same thing, but in different areas for slightly different reasons, over and over for progress in the game. I guess that’s not so bad, so keep up the good work.
A little disappointed
by Defcon106 on 2019/05/21 16:26
This game is actually pretty good and very pretty. The combat is actually a little less clunky than Skyrim somehow, but also really slow. I know it’s a mobile game so I’m willing to forgive that, but you can’t move while you fight, which I don’t fully understand. The reason I’m only giving this 3 stars is the network issues. You’d think that Bethesda would have learned from fallout 76 that a always connected game is garbage, but it is mobile and therefore a cash grab. They always want to offer you things in the store, even during single player quests, so you always have to be connected. I have a few spots I like to play games that don’t have the best connection, like the subway and I can’t play this one at all. I miss my gameboy, where the whole game was right there to play and enjoy, we just don’t get that anymore because of online shops. It’s just sad because this could be a really fun game, but I’ll probably get bored with all the waiting for loading so I’m probably not going to bother spending anything on it. All the stuff you buy is just for materials and gear that you could get from rewards for the quests, but you can’t do the quests unless you have a great connection. I even got dropped from a quest because of a weak connection and lost 5 gems (the premium currency). Give me an offline mode and I’ll probably continue playing. At least there are no ads.
A pretty money pit
by Agamemnerd on 2019/08/02 13:42
Without spending money, you’ll progress slowly in this game. My typical experience is dungeons will give you about 1500 gold and cost 2000 gold in repairs on your armor and weapons – logging in daily for free handouts will offset this if you were happy only actually play once a week., Materials are rarely available at vendors – upgrading vendors upgrades their materials but they stop selling the ‘older/common’ stuff when in fact they should have more of that stuff - which you need for tempering/enhancing your armor and weapons... The game will actually punish you if you upgrade your town past what your current level is in terms of the armor and weapons you would like to forge or upgrade. I hope this gets fixed. The other option is spending gems for materials you can’t really farm, can’t buy from vendors, and only drop rarely during play – pay to win(ish). It’s a beta game; I hope they rebalance it so that paying to win is an option but not a requirement; right now it pretty much is a requirement. Biggest gripe: vendors that are upgraded offer better stuff in terms of weapons, armor, potions, materials; they need to continue to offer even more of the older stuff that they originally sold. Having to use gems to pay for Dwarven ingots because my blacksmith only sells ebony is ridiculous.
Amazing game
by Ho Really? on 2019/06/22 02:58
Being a person who really enjoys dungeon crawler games, I find this to be an awesome game. A lot of people are complaining about level 10+ being too hard, but the game isn’t hard AT ALL. If you need gold or building resources go to the ‘job’ tab under the quests section and you will typically get 1 star or two star difficulty jobs that reward equipment and other goodies. Don’t try and win quests that are 5 star because they were made to be difficult to lower level players. Upgrading gear can help make fights a lot easier as well. Consider crafting gear with better stats, or temper your weapon/armor piece for increased stats. If it is possible, upgrade your blacksmith to unlock better items in the shop and under the craft section. Another frequent complaint is that chests take too long to open. Don’t ever open golden/silver chests as soon as you start playing the game, because you will be unable to open other chests until the timer expires. You can always increase your storage space for gems by pressing the plus button. This game is a really great game with good gameplay and amazing graphics. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who is looking for something fun to play.
Unenjoyable reward structure
by Quartz Collector on 2019/05/06 20:29
While Blades provides some level of satisfying dungeon crawler gameplay with the combat, earning the rewards is not at all a fun experience. Being unable to open any of the chests I find during a dungeon run because I have a 1 or 6 hour timer running on opening a better chest is disappointing. The changes to silver chests have helped with the bloat on chest capacity, minorly, but requires that I spend more time worrying about timers. Collecting the variety of materials needed to construct buildings, craft weapons and armor, or potions is dull as it is either through chests or jobs, the repeatable grind of side-missions. The main quest does provide needed materials early on, but is hardly a reliable source later. Blades feels most like a lootbox collector, and the result is that the moderately enjoyable gameplay lost its value once I felt like I was stuck in a pointless loop. Do a quest or a job, collect chests and sparse materials, open chests and/or spend materials on crafting or building, repair and repeat. The ultimate goal of that cycle is to... enable the continuation of that cycle, but with better gear and buildings to provide you with the game’s RPG mechanics. Many games do this, Blades has done it poorly if it has made me so painfully aware of its gameplay loop without offering something of substance. Perhaps its a limitation of conventional mobile game design, which is a shame, because the hardware can handle much more than the standard.
Solid for early access. I hate pay to play
by "Darius" on 2019/05/05 21:55
This is a wonderful mobile version of elder scrolls. Pretty, entertaining, and just plain fun. It’s simple, but something you can thoughtlessly sink a few hours into. Which is fortunate because if you’re not willing to sit through some clash of clans style build times, you’re gunna have yourself a bad time. The biggest problem is everything in the game past level 5 is a half an hour or more to accomplish anything, and buildings feel useless and meaningless more often than not. The quests are a little repetitive, but nothing we haven’t seen before. The biggest problem is that after gearing up after 20 hours of blacksmithing decent armor, you find yourself at a wall. At around level 9 i found the most severe difficulty spike of any game in recent memory. Every fight in the game went from “yeah if you swing enough they’ll die and you take no damage” to “if you don’t have at least 1 potion per enemy you’re gunna die even if you perfect shield everything” I’ve tried grinding and leveling up, but honestly the armor and quest differential is insignificant compared to the jump in power of enemies. While i seriously enjoyed the first few mindless hours of gameplay, i wish there either was no difficulty spike, or it came in late game. Not when it feels like you’ve barely gotten anything done after 7 hours.
Limited
by hftvdjffg on 2019/05/17 02:16
I’ve been a fan of the Elder Scrolls since the 90’s, and i am so sorry that I don’t have better things to say about this game. The graphics are beautiful, but the game play is limited. Movement is limited. You can’t run, jump, climb, fly, swim, or go outside the limited fixed paths. You must fix up a town that no one will ever see. The town is small and there is only one. You can’t leave your town and explore the world. You never journey anywhere. There are no maps. You can’t make your own house or go inside any buildings. There is little to no freedom or creativity. The players still don’t talk. The dialog is prescribed. The quests are limited. My battles the first day are just like my battles after 21 levels. The same monsters are just harder to fight, so all my extra armor, better skills, magic weapons are all nullified. It does offer some variety in the way you can fight an opponent and you can develop a little more skill when fighting. But you can’t run away from an opponent, use any of the environment to your advantage, use any sort of missile weapon, sneak up on an opponent, or have any other outcome than either you die or they die. I’m saddened that I game isn’t more fun to play; I really wanted it to be great. It’s a fraction of the same old game and not as fun.
Game review a plus
by Jay D B on 2019/09/13 00:14
I didn’t see a lot of marketing for this game but over all the graphics are great. Combat wise it general but the different things you can do make it interesting. Spells, different weapons, different armor, abilities, and 3 a skills trees (spells, perks, and abilities). I haven’t gone through a lot of the story but so fare it seems interesting and holds me into the game. My only dislike is the time it takes for treasure chests to open. 5seconds for wood chest, 1hr for silver, 6hrs for gold. There are 2 more chests that I have yet to get but I can assure you it’s a much longer time frame. I’m used to games where the vendor has unlimited money to buy my vendor trash but these don’t. They have a limited amount that increases when you purchase items, over time, or an upgrade. I enjoy building my own town in addition to the customizing with added features. It just gets more expensive and material needy the higher your town prestige gets. This is of course a free to play game with in-app purchases but it is not a pay to win. I’m currently at level 23 and have yet to spend a dime of real-world currency. I would enjoy this game even more if they would just change the vendor buys and the timer on the chests.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Bethesda!
by ust00pid on 2019/06/13 21:15
As it turns out, this really is the best mobile game in history! I was one of the few folks lucky enough to play early access and I love EVERYTHING about the game. Having a reason to put it down once you reach a chest cap, having to grind 10x as hard as paying players for a chance at the good loot/items and you guys making grinding seem like something worth picking up the phone and opening the app. I wrote a 4 star review before, after the E3 update, but as it turns out I misunderstood an in game mechanic. I was ready weeks ago to write a 5 star beaming review and didn't have time. I got time today! If you don’t love this game, I respect your opinion. Don’t mind me, I’ll be over here with my dragon plate armor and lvl 10 buildings 🙌🏾. If you can’t see yourself competing with pay to win players, this is not for you. If all you want is a mainstream video game company to give their all to make the best mobile version of their catalog then you are welcome!!! Thank you Bethesda and everyone involved. Not just for letting me play early, but for getting this sooo right. You can’t please everyone, but you sure did right by me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very well done.
Entertaining and fun, but money grab
by M1key-_- on 2019/09/08 13:45
This is a fun RPG for mobile but this game will just about force the player into spending actual money to continue your positive experience. I’m level 25 and I have had no issues, up until this point. After playing for about 2 weeks, I’ve noticed my chest stash is continuously building up. I cannot keep up with the gold chests and silver chest, to the point where I no long have room for more chest that I find in quests. I have even spent premium gems to increase chest stash size, but the amount of chests continue to grow. I have 16 golden chests and 14 silver chests. How am I supposed to open all the gold chests and open up slots for new chests? Each gold chests requires 6 hours to open: 14 x 6 = 84 hours. That’s over 3 days folks, and that’s assuming one would begin unlocking a chest immediately after one has been open, but that is unreasonable. Add in the silver chests and it’s over 4 days. If I continue playing, I will consistently have to stop playing quests and completely focus on opening chests for 3 to 4 days at a time to clear my chest cache... watching a timer is not fun. Why can’t we choose to delete chests? Deleting a chest should be a no-brainer and should be a decision that the player makes. It would be even better if we could sell them but again, this is a strategic money grab to force the player into opening these.
Has promise but...
by OldManGenX on 2019/05/16 13:19
The good: Graphically this game doesn't disappoint. Controls are finally customizable, but incomplete. There needs to be additional options to hot swap weapons and quick use of poisons/potions. The initial story line is decent enough to keep you interested until ~level 30. I do like the town building feature, but I would also like some option for switching building positions. Overall game play fighting is fluid, even when playing in portrait or landscape. The bad: Does require a stable internet connection. If your phone switches to different wifi signals automatically, you'll need to re-sync. Typical P2W options, but not necessary for initial and mid game. The ugly: End game design needs thorough vetting. Gear repair costs escalate significantly, but gold accumulation from mobs or jobs falls well short of what's required to maintain gear. No option to disenchant gear to recoup some materials and try to re-enchant gear. High end materials for enchanting and crafting are only achievable by opening chests. Gear rewards for chests do not align with character level, especially for the top two chest options. As a result, the grind for decent end game gear is out of reach. End game design warrants skill tree focus on health management as a requirement, and therefore limits flexibility with how gear should be enchanted to maintain survivability.
Elder scrolls on the go
by A.B.Money on 2019/05/05 02:22
First I have played this game since early release , I have not spent a dime of real money and have made it to level 13. The latest update gives gems that you could purchase for easy jobs to complete. This game is simple and fun to play. The controls are easy , one hand tap to go or landscape mode with virtual joysticks. The combat is a simple tap and release timing mechanic that still makes the fights challenging and fun. The quest are a bit repetitive in the job section with easy collecting missions and the enemies seem to be a bit tougher then the mission rates. You are punished for missing a block with low health. However once you access the alchemy shop you can brew potions at a cheap rate. The update made jobs more worthy with bigger rewards for completing. Weapons and armor offer different enchantments and stats that affect enemies differently depending on the type. If you have played any elder scrolls games this is exactly what you could expect for a mobile version. There is even a hometown that you rebuild and add different shops and housing for population growth. The game overall is simple and easy, it picks up wherever you left off after you close your phone and definitely gets you through a bored moment. Worth the download
Good game with some small flaws
by ktamb on 2019/09/18 11:33
I was pleasantly surprised by how much you can do on this game. It has quests and a bit of a story and crafting. It’s not completely open world but it is a mobile game not a console. I’ve spent a lot of time enjoying this game and I will continue to. There are two flaws that I have noticed from the beginning. There is one flaw that I think can be fixed and one that probably can’t. It won’t stop me from playing though. The first flaw is in combat. The way the combat is designed there are too many ways for spells to not work. I like being a spell caster and I feel like spells have been pretty useless especially at low levels. Better to have an enchanted weapon. Spells can be interrupted by you being hit but also if you do something like block or swing a weapon it interrupts the spell too. And you can’t attack something from a distance like a squishy spell caster would do. Weapons are much faster and do more damage with combos. The combat could be fixed though. The bigger problem may not be fixable. Because the game requires a constant link to WiFi I keep getting booted off. Every time I go into the game it takes forever to load and if the WiFi has a hiccup I end up watching the loading screen again.
Repetitive dungeon looting, slow advancement
by Ggggggg3344 on 2019/05/02 05:01
Let’s start positive. The game looks great and plays well on my phone. The enemies are diverse and their resistances/weaknesses make them interesting. Fighting is pretty smooth as well. I liked what I have seen of the storyline. But...I found this game underwhelming. I was hoping for another Morrowind or Skyrim experience, but this is not it. I am a longtime Elder scrolls fan and would gladly pay for another RPG, but the freemium model gets very frustrating, very quickly. I soon hit a point where I was too weak to continue the main quest, and my chest allotment was full. Looting without gaining chests costs more in item repairs than you gain. My options were put the game down or pay. I put it down... for a month. I just got back in out of boredom, but I’m in the same boring spot. Other complaints: the dungeons are very, very repetitive, you have to complete quests in one go and they often backload the difficult enemies. It’s frustrating to spend 10 minutes on a quest and have to repeat it from the start. After a few attempts, it makes you wonder if you’re spending your time wisely. You can sell items to vendors for one-fifteenth of what you buy them for. Basically, my interest ran out of steam because I was not advancing my character enough. I’m still an Elder Scrolls fan and eagerly await their next non-freemium game.
Lots of Potential, but needs some work.
by Trearel on 2019/05/19 03:54
I’ve been playing for a while now (level 22) and I can say that I’ve enjoyed the game. However somewhere around level 15 the game came to an absolute crawl it was like going from 100 to 1 in a matter of 1 level. After crossing that threshold doing the main quests was replaced with having to do a large amount of jobs and Abyss runs in order to get the gear and material needed to progress. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad thing but there needs to be some balancing done to the story and quest, because there is a lot of time in between the story you kind of forget what was going on. In short it just gets super grindy, like Destiny 1 grindy. I wish I was smart enough to come up with the solution for this, but I’m not one to be the expert on how all that works out. Maybe tone down the difficulty on the quests and creatures. For instance trolls are so bad right now. Their regen is manageable but extremely excessive. And because the game is gear dependent, leveling isn’t really that amazing. That’s just my thoughts over all game is good especially for early access, but I think we have a little ways to go before we are there.
Enjoying it, but...
by KrysM22 on 2019/10/03 01:34
I’ve been enjoying the app, and they made a lot of updates that have improved it, in my opinion. Yes, it can be a little boring if you don’t want to pay, but I don’t mind a little grinding, and I like the incentive to put it down for a while. However, there is one *major* annoyance. Every now and then, the app will forget who I am. Sometimes, I just need to re-enter my login info, nbd. Sometimes, though, I have to do more. In a previous version it would make me create a new character, and then give me the option to keep it or to use my previously saved version. That was a little annoying, and the first time it happened I panicked a little until I saw that I just had to go through the steps to make a throwaway character before I could get back to my old game. Now, though, I have to go through the whole tutorial, and make a new character before I’m allowed to log back in and use my old game. There doesn’t appear to be a bypass or any way to skip all of that. It’s really frustrating, and happens with some regularity. Like I said, overall I really like the app. When they fix this issue, or show me where I can go around it myself, they can have their fifth star back.
Good for now
by Rifle lord on 2019/06/21 15:35
It’s a decent game. Should definitely get the ability to carry excess food though because I see it all the time where I’m healthy as I pass it and up comes say a wispmother/necromancer(whose poison cloud is just unfair to the max) and they rough me up a bit; enough to want that edible that’s now too far to get(especially if I ducked an enemy patrol to get to said mancer or wispmom. Would love to see more variety with the arena fight quests because it’s just been the same 2 iron weapon wielders that I’m crushing with orc and dwarf gear. Most of all multiple enchantments should be possible including adding more advanced ones after for example I have a 2nd tier dwarf fire mace and would love to add the speed ability to it but can’t. Finally the chest times are outta whack; 5 seconds for a wood chest but an hour for silver is a Grand Canyon jump; and opening 1 silver at a time isn’t efficient enough because they pile up so much faster than they unlock. Perhaps add a multi chest open function ie have 10 silver chests open 1-10 for an increasing 1-10 hr overnight timer. No difference in time taken but much more efficient to empty inventories and I’d do more quests with higher odds of dying so people may buy more revives so you make money.
Kim’s review of Blades
by Persian Leopard on 2019/09/12 12:44
Even though the game is still in the development stage, it’s incredibly well made. The game gives you character customization choices in which you can choose from the ten Elder Scrolls races and have customization choices that mirror those in Skyrim. The game takes place after the Empire has been defeated by the Thalmor, and the player character is the last surviving member of the Blades, who has escaped back to his/her home town only to find it has been razed. These events kickstart the adventure as you work to rebuild your home town and investigate the attack. The graphics are quite good considering that this is a cell phone game. I found myself enjoying both the storyline and the characters with whom you interact. The game isn’t complete yet, so there are lines which are not yet voiced, no map, no 3rd person view available, and in combat your weapons sort of float in that there is no visible hand gripping them. Even though this game is still being developed, I highly recommend it, and despite the above issues, the game is still incredibly complete with both character and town leveling systems.
Only playing because I don’t have Skyrim anymore.
by aeros.mommy on 2019/09/16 06:38
This app is alright, it’s kinda nice to have something similar to Skyrim right on my phone. (I don’t have a ps4 anymore) However I think they need to add a few things to make it perfect. First of all, I get so irritated because of how hard it is to acquire health potions. I only have one alchemist’s shop right now and it’s annoying that they only carry one potion at a time. It takes way too long to get missions done b/c of this, cause you literally struggle to survive. And your gems run out so fast, it’s hard to even buy some that way. (I don’t have actual money to spend on this app) Second, I was really disappointed when I figured out that you can explore outside of the town like in other games. You can only do that if you’re on a mission and I can’t stand it. You feel so confined. I get that it’s mobile so you won’t get much but that’s really limiting the apps potential. And lastly, again, the exploration is so limited. You can’t even go into buildings that are within your city! I’m not extremely far in the game and I know there’s a lot to unlock but the fact that I can’t go into the buildings I create is pretty dumb. Don’t get me wrong this is a fun pastime, but don’t get your expectations too high.
Fine but needs work
by Aurora Roarer on 2019/06/15 23:07
The game so far is enjoyable, though it is annoying how my chest inventory is filled with silver chests that stop me from playing nonstop but I understand why it is that way (make it a litter more time consuming to get the better stuff out of them). I would really appreciate a quicker way to switch weapons out in the middle of battle rather than navigate through 4 screens. I would also appreciate being able to easily choose the order the abilities and spells show on the combat screen, as once I grow use to it being one way if I switch out a skill it will completely mess up the order so instead of healing I use poison on the skeletons. I understand that it is an early access so I do not expect everything to be perfect. I would also appreciate a way to figure out the enemies weaknesses more easily even if it is just navigating through the help log to find it in the middle of combat (instead of learning about them in the quick screen transitions). I would also appreciate some of the smaller things explained in the help log, like when you enchant something you may get a bonus or two abilities. Just some ideas to help the experience.
High potential wasted by timers and bottlenecks
by NickerPL on 2019/06/29 18:39
The game has potential but the way it is designed to bottleneck players with egregious timers is insane... imagine Skyrim with a less compelling world, very basic and boring story, basic combat, very basic and repetitive level design, and most importantly TIMERS that are all over the game and ruin the experience (e.g. you got a good chest reward from a quest and want to open it? Good luck waiting hours until the chest opening timer finishes so you can finally be rewarded with the chest’s contents; you asked the blacksmith to craft you a piece of armor? Good luck waiting until the timer finishes; you want to build a building to improve your city? TIMERS; You want to craft potions? TIMERS; Enchant gear? TIMERS. Et cetera). The way I see it, Bethesda puts the gamer between a rock and a hard place because you can either NOT purchase their expensive currency and suffer, OR you buy the overpriced currency and speed up the timers. Those timers ultimately left me with a feeling of "I’m not willing to invest a year of my time to get through all of this content due to the bottlenecking timers that are delaying me; it would just make me feel like I wasted a year of my life for a very unrewarding experience". Give it a try if you want but personally, I said "hard pass” after a little over a week.
Blades by Bethesda
by Scottagain on 2019/06/11 19:32
I have spent no money on this game so far and am already at level 20. There were times when I thought there was nothing to do and jobs were above what I could do but I could always grind it out in the abyss. I’ve swapped out to Orchish equipment and keep a supply of heal potions in case I run in to trouble in the quests. One thing they do not have is dual wielding, but hoping for that later. It’s not as open world as Skyrim but what do you expect for a phone app. I have gone to playing this the most on my phone and have mostly dropped the other apps and maybe will play them if I am tempering or opening a chest. Those that are spending money on this game I think are just impatient. I can wait for things to come available as long as there is something to do. You can jump in and out of the Abyss to go after what you really need and sometimes the quests will give you what you are looking for. Sometimes you can get around the monsters to get the quest done. They will chase after you and sometime you run into another monster down a hall and end up fighting both of them. Great game!
Reviews lie

This is not for the impatient teenager or middle schooler who wants to play a sword fighting game. This is for the teenager or young adult or even adults in general who enjoy real in depth RPG games. It’s not as in depth as a computer RPG or a console elder scrolls but it is magnificent still. Although one thing I would recommend is a more broad approach to areas you do quests in. It’s pretty much the same dungeons with different or stronger monsters as you progress with the subtle extension during main quests. But still I’ve been playing a week now and I’m level 25 with matching armor, town level 6. You can progress if you take the time to play the game how it’s made to be played. I haven’t spent any real money either, open your gold chests when you sleep, your silver chests whenever you aren’t on the game and your wood chests when you’re playing. Pay attention to the race of your character and the bonuses that come with it. Pay attention to the weaknesses of your enemy. Use your poisons and sometimes take a chance on missions that are max difficulty as they prove to be quite easy sometimes.

So I’ve been waiting well over the 24 hour time period most people say it takes them to get early access. I understand they can’t let everyone on at once, but a little communication on how long I’ll have to wait would be great. Seems like Bethesda is struggling in that department, especially with the confusion about the iPhone 6. I know people say it was on the website, but it really should’ve been on the App Store as well. If they only cater to hardcore fans who crawl on their website every day, they are going to have a hard time staying relevant. Add the fact that it was already released late...you just expect a little better from a major publisher, although that seems to be the the way Bethesda is headed lately. Hope I can change my star rating when I actually get to play the game 🙄 Finally playing game. It’s very fun. Can’t wait for full version to come out. I do hate how there seems to be a response delay after clicking to unlock chests, that makes you accidentally use gems to open them immediately. Seems a little too convenient for that not to be happening by design...either way, they need to fix it.
Repetitive and unbalanced.
by worried4theusa on 2019/06/01 15:23
Having hit lvl 42, the game becomes and endless grind of two things. Dungeon and caves. The same creatures pounding on them till dead. While that may ok if there significant growth in the game after that but the gold reward cost is very low and the armor/weapon repair cost high. It will take over 300k gold to upgrade the smithy to the last level 10 but yet by the time I have completed 3-4 jobs, I would have only made a few hundred in gold. We can choose to not repair anything and go through the game with broken armor but then getting through a 3-5 * job becomes very difficult to survive. Reduce the repair cost significantly and open the game up to new undiscovered lands and then the rating would go up. It could be a fun game but right now it is not living up to its reputation as the Elderscrolls fame we’ve come to enjoy and support. Right now, the only thing I do is check in, get the free daily item and maybe do a challenge. After that, it’s not interesting anymore. Lastly, don’t let these rating fool you. Someone at Bethesda or somewhere else deleted a massive amount of 1* comments to make it appear that this game has overwhelming favor. It does not. Someone is hiding the fact that the game in its present form is boring and badly designed. It has potential but they have been slow to make it interesting.
Love it

My 5 favorite games are Oblivion, Skyrim, Morrowind, Witcher 3 and Dragon Age Origins; so I was so excited to see Blades. I’m not a big fan of games that have in app purchases but so far this is not bad. I have played for about two days. I did purchase one bundle for 4.99 but I don’t feel like I had to to be able to play, and I felt it was worth how much fun I was having. You arrive at your town of birth to find it recently raided and sacked by mercenaries. You get to help find and rescue scattered villagers and help rebuild. Building takes time, sometimes a few hours, opening a chest takes time (5sec for a would expect chest, up to 6hrs real time for a gold chest) or you can use gems that you’ve either found or purchased with real money. If you have the time it’s no big deal. I can see push notifications would be handy to let you know the chest is open. I miss that there is no map feature (unless I just didn’t see it) and no bow. Otherwise I like the combat for it being on my phone. For exploring I like it wide screen and combat I like it tall screen. Great graphics!
Awesome, but keeps crashing
by Moonseeker-the-Cat on 2019/08/14 00:56
This game is truly great, it’s like a pocket Skyrim, which I think was the aim. One of the problems, though, is it ends up being slightly restrictive in gameplay options, due to the health being kinda low compared to damage output by enemies in quests above the easiest rank. It requires you to maximize health in skills, spells, and armor, which can be difficult to do early on. It’s tough to find renewable resources as they change every quest, and the shops don’t always have what you need. (For example, I went on several difficult quests and after a while, finished my health potions. I went to buy and brew some more, and promptly realized I only had enough for two tiny health potions, and there were only three at the shop. It made out for five, and not enough left over for poison resistance.) I might just be doing it wrong, though... The other thing, that I KNOW I’m not doing wrong, is that the app keeps crashing on me. I’ve lost my progress on several quests after crashes. Connectivity doesn’t seem to be a problem, as I have a stable one that doesn’t usually fluctuate. I hope this gets fixed in a future update.
Milking the Franchise
by Chronocyst on 2019/07/28 17:16
I love Elder Scrolls games, and I like Blades, but everything costs way too much for even the simplest things. I understand that app games are designed to make money, but there is a point when the greed of the developer takes all the fun out of the game. You have to work way too hard for very little advance or loot. Example: Why are gems needed to temper equipment? It seems just an excuse to buy more things that don’t seem relevant to what is being done, and even ridiculous items like decorations cost as much as buildings do in the beginning. Everything hyper-inflates in cost as you gain town prestige also. Why? The sheer cost of everything makes me only interested in this game, as a once-in-a-while game to play, as compared to Skyrim... the game I couldn’t put down, and still play to this day. I am disappointed that this franchise is going downhill because of greed. Strike one was making new Elder Scrolls games mmo’s. Playing with idiots online is not fun for me, and takes away from the feeling of being immersed in the fantasy. I feel that Blades is strike two. Skyrim and Oblivion were works of art. Graphics and animations are stunning, but gameplay is being sacrificed. Why ruin the recipe?
This game “should” be a 10 but...
by Guataguano on 2019/05/05 23:23
Blades is an amazing looking game. It’s gameplay is very smooth on my iPhone XS MAX. I preordered this game the day it was announced and have been waiting patiently. I’m in the early access and I was so excited until I needed gems. I’ve been playing a lil game called Star Wars galaxy of heroes for the last 3 years. People complain about their micro transaction but you can still progress. I’m no stranger to dropping a couple of dollars in a game I like but in ESB it’s out of control. Changes need to be made. In Blades, My one “BIG” and only complaint is the micro transactions. CHEESE AND RICE AND ALL THATS HOLY! It’s ridiculous. Just about everything is behind a gem or time wall that cost gems to get through. It’s pretty depressing. I am currently level 22 and I have spent ($40) money since I was granted access. I don’t regret it but it’s at a point now that to progress I have to pay in some way shape or form. That’s not fun. It’s a well made and beautiful game but the micro transactions is ruining my experience. **Update** I’m level 43 now. The game is beautiful. Content has gone pretty dry and the developers seem to have poor communication with the ESB community. Small updates and shadow updates. It’s in a weird place.
Terrible grab and your money!!!
by Maxious1972 on 2019/07/23 17:44
This is the most up front game I’ve seen that is designed to only allow you to continue by dumping more money into the game after original purchase. You literally cannot proceed without buying more from the online store. For starters, you can’t self heal in any real fashion. There’s food but your not allowed to keep any spares you find and don’t need at that time. Never have I seen any RPG that won’t allow you to heal. Therefore, you’re required to use extremely light healings “abilities” and those only work if “timed” right. Your gear will NEVER come for free meaning all the “treasure chest” give is gold, materials for crafting gear, and ALWAYS gear that’s too low for you to use so you sell them...o.O Also, you can level past 50 but there’s point because NOTHING INCREASES. Your health, stamina, magic, and skill points all stay the same. How’s that for further screwing you over. So all in all, it’s a P2P game unless you have no life and spend 10 hours/day playing to collect the materials necessary to craft gear. Have you ever played a game where you’ll never ever find a weapon that’s powerful enough to actually be useful? How about a game that takes weeks to gain the materials for enchanting just to realize your enchant bonus is random. STAY AWAY FROM THE MOST WORTHLESS GAME EVER!!!!
Great Elder Scrolls Fix!
by aph313 on 2019/07/01 21:59
I still play Skyrim frequently, but as only who has played that game knows, one thing leads to another which leads to another which leads to another... Before you know it you’ve sunk 6 hours into the game. Well this is a great pick up and play game where you can play in 10-20 minute intervals without getting completely sucked in (which is fine in moderation). Also it is very convenient to have it on my iPad so I can carry the Elder Scrolls with me anywhere! There are plenty of references to the main Elder Scrolls franchise which is a huge plus as well (look out for Sheogorath). My only complaint is that it is pretty unapologetic in its approach to cutting a profit. I understand, this is a free-to-play app that obviously had many people working on it, but I guess the old fashioned man in me still can’t get used to micro transactions. I will be sure to invest in this game as needed, because the team at Bethesda really does deserve a pat on the back for this one, but I just wish it wasn’t as blatant. I can’t wait to see how the game continues to expand!
Great mobile adaptation of an Elder Scrolls game
by Celebilove on 2019/07/23 01:29
I am relatively new to TES series of games. I just started playing Skyrim last year when a friend gave me her old xbox and a copy of the game, and since then I have learned about and thoroughly enjoyed the expansive gameplay and universe created by the folks at Bathesda. So, when I saw they had come out with a mobile game, I was so pumped! So far, I am a huge fan of this game. The gameplay is great, I love the graphics and the story lines are interesting and I like the added components of building up your town and things like that. I think that, with the limitations of it being a mobile game, it is a wonderful representation of the Elder Scrolls franchise and I really enjoy it! If you are smart with your timing on opening chests and spend your resources wisely, you won’t have to pay any real world money for gems or coins. I haven’t paid a cent, and my character is Lv 26 and I have progressed significantly in several quest lines. Basically, I love this game and I have been suggesting it to everyone I know who likes the Elder Scrolls games!
A game that shows promise
by Ignissus Firebrand on 2019/07/07 00:34
Blades is pretty much as good as TES could get, at this point on mobile, with a few exceptions. I gave the gave 4 stars, nonetheless, due to the immersion the game brings to the table, the graphical detail that pushes current hardware to the max, in some cases, and the sheer joy of the combat and character development functions of the game...but the combat can be bittersweet, at times, due to a current flaw that absolutely must be fixed by devs in order for this to be completely worthy of bearing the name The Elder Scrolls. The touch screen function occasionally and annoyingly detects an attempted weapon swing in the lower right corner of the screen while disabling the ability for you to use your skills and spells!!! This is unacceptable. Also, Elder Scrolls without Lorebooks is not Elder Scrolls at all. This is essential and must be added. Log July 6th 2019: Game is improving, with increased addition of new NPC voices. Still no lorebooks as of yet that I can find. I may not be far enough in though. Game lacks story depth IMO. This may be fixed upon future patches
Good to kill some time
by Houstone on 2019/05/07 20:06
Enjoying it more than I thought. Open the 5sec chests while playing, and save the hour+ ones to click open before logging out. Don’t spend any gems especially during early game. They seem to come pretty regularly, and you’ll have enough for purple or blue legendary chests with amazing equipment. I’ve bought 2 already playing free for a week, and the gear is amazing. You can upgrade all the gear in game from white(worst) to purple(best) Try to save your revive spells for Abyss which unlocks early. Don’t push your luck if you aren’t leveled & geared. I accidentally used all mine early reviving & dying to the same enemy. Go to Abyss once you have an alchemist who can make you more healing potions. Each level deeper gives you XP & Gold modifier. While every 4 or 5 enemies killed gives you better & better chests, and crafting items. I’ve had no need to spend money on it, but if I’m still playing in a month I’ll drop $5 just to pay for the game if i continue to enjoy it. 1 star off as I have only seen a few interior assets, and only 1 tile sets. More could be further in though.
Still waiting on enchanting fixes!!!
by PitiphulMe on 2019/07/09 12:47
Enchanting is awful, the game ruins almost all of my enchants by putting something I don’t want on my enchanted item. A Remarkable Ebony Longsword of Blizzards does NOT need to be more effective at setting things on fire. Its a remarkable waste of enchanting materials. Enchanting materials like fire salts are too hard to come by, I should get enchant materials when I salvage an enchanted item. I should be able to re-roll bonus enchants that are not beneficial to my equipment. If I am making a fire suit to defend against fire damage, then I do not need a bonus to fire damage on that suit, since the enemy will obviously be resistant to fire, would make sense to have a better system that works. When we get that, I will give a 5 star, because this is otherwise a great game, if not, it will get more and more annoyed and I will either drop rating further, or quit game, or both. A little picky factor I would add, I should be able to temper my enchants, just like I do my gear, if this enchanter has the power to imbue fire on a weapon, he should have the power to upgrade that fire damage without having to bring him a whole new weapon, it only make sense.
Can’t give it five stars yet.

This game has beautiful graphics and an intuitive movement system that seems easy to get used to. Ive been playing for about a month on early access and have enjoyed the game for the most part. Micro transaction games are the unfortunate norm and this is no exception. My main gripe is the real dollar cost of items offered. 10$ for an epic weapon that you will have to replace quickly is a bit excessive even for an adult such as myself. The other annoying bit is the skull difficulty rating. Getting suckered into a daily job where a cave troll is the first creature you are challenged with is not cool. I can kill most things with my character but not the cave trolls. They seem a bit too tough to show up against a level 20 character wearing exquisite dwarves plate armor and easily kill that that character while it carries a nice shield. I do not enjoy a challenge but that is frustrating. Maybe some adjustments are still needed. I play ESO and loved Skyrim. I had high hopes for this game and preordered it. I’m not thinking this one will be one I play for very long due to the cost.
Good game and getting better
by Aaron233rd on 2019/06/15 20:13
So far, every update is improving the game, keeping it balanced, and keeping my attention. The most recent update with jewelry has been great. I appreciate the way the game structured so you are not forced to purchase anything to enjoy all parts of the game. The last update did motivate me to make a purchase just out of appreciation. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because it’s still in ‘Early Access’ but I’m looking forward to more improvements and the Arena being unlocked. If I can make a suggestion: expand the Challenges to include one Dailey and one Weekly challenge to mirror the daily and weekly quests. These challenges could reward a level appropriate item or materials instead of gold just to make it different. The challenges could be as simple as completing a certain number of regular challenges, a certain number of jobs, or it could be the same as the current challenges but with higher much requirements. I think that might be an easy way to improve the game. I love what you’re doing with it to date, keep it up!
Difficulty Spikes
by sonofdog55 on 2019/05/07 19:07
I should preface this by saying I’m a huge fan of other Elder Scrolls titles, so I went into this with open eyes. I was excited by the idea of being able to explore this universe, even if it was abridged, on my phone, and at first I enjoyed it; quests and jobs were satisfying if a little repetitive, real-world time delays got a little annoying, but overall it was a fun little game to play for a few hours. Now though, I’ve hit an absolutely insane difficulty spike, after playing for maybe two days (level 12). In what seems to be some sort of overcorrection, where in earlier levels enemies were quite easy or at least not absurdly challenging, once you get to the Bloodgaurd story line the quests become insane. Even the jobs are impossible, including those ranked very low in difficulty. It gets to the point were after two enemies I’ve either got to spend all of my health potions or I’ve essentially resigned myself to an early exit. This won’t work, it doesn’t keep people coming back to the game, it’s unduly frustrating, and it takes away from actually engaging with the plot and in tinkering with your town.
Excellent Elder Scrolls app!!!
by Bacon Juice on Toast on 2019/09/13 12:22
If you liked Skyrim, and wish you could play from your phone, this one’s for you. The game uses many meshes, items, and even voice actors from the popular Skyrim game. That makes this feel like a well-made Skyrim mod. The major difference is that this is NOT an open-world game. iPhone apps juuust can’t handle that. So instead imagine being trapped in Helgen. You can only leave to complete repetitive “dungeons”, and you must rebuild the burnt-up town. Dungeons seem to be a randomly generated series of sections that may repeat and two dungeons may be very alike, but they ARE beautifully detailed. Enemies are also repetitive. Finding chests is like a gift/curse combo because yay stuff, but you have to wait a very VERY long time to open some chests, and they pile up. I guess the app wants to make some money which is the purpose of most apps, it I think this will shortly become unplayable if I don’t pay because of the limited space for chests. Anyway for now it’s just awesome to have some fun, well-made Elder Scrolls content! So over all, despite my impending chest problem, I LOVE IT!!!
Completely unbalanced
by Finger witch on 2019/06/10 03:22
Ok guys- to begin the game looks great in places-is fun to play- and will keep you busy for a few days. HOWEVER——once you reach a point - maybe level 12 or 13- everything changes. The difficulty ramps up so quickly that you will soon burn up all your resources to just get through a couple quests !! You will need a health potion for just about each enemy you face- your weapons won’t do enough consistent damage- and you cannot upgrade any armor or weapon past a certain a certain level because you cannot farm any resources. Also - your magic is worthless because you cannot cast quick enough to get it off in time...so forget that option. The game seems to skip the middle ground and goes straight to forcing you to pay for advanced gear. And also- the gold it takes to repair your gear is completely unbalanced compared to what you can find along the way. I wonder if the developers have even played this game - much less listened to the reviews of actual players who have attempted this game. Here’s you bottom line——wait for diablo to hit the mobile devices- or maybe FROMSOFTWARE will throw us a bone.... i wanted this game to be rewarding- but it fails for me.

Chest

Pretty Good

It’s pretty good. Definitely not as good as Skyrim but still good. Gets boring after a little bit
Downgrade again

Impressed

So I just found out about this game and I’m a massive fan of the series so of course I had to download. I’ve been playing a few hours now and I am already hooked. Totally delivers the graphics and game style you expect just simplified for my phone. Currently building up my town and player in one of the most beautiful and customizable game series that you can find. 100% recommend for new players and old fans alike!

I wish it did but it dosen’t so maybe you could make it available on IPad mini 2. Thanks for reading this. P.S I really think you should make it support iPad mini 2
Very Good Game
by Amelia413 on 2019/10/19 17:11

Too bad; could have been great.

by Concerned_Player654 on 2019/10/18 23:59
A bit dry and redundant mechanical wise - but overall enjoyable for Elder Scroll fans who enjoy the classic dungeon / reward pattern.

Amazing and addictive.

-insert middle finger here -
A great game..if your rich
by krispe1 on 2019/10/18 10:06
Buy buy buy buy buy buy buy. A good game if you wanna spend for gems every time you die. Or buy a gem pack that would last 2 days tops for $100.
Issues?

I would give the game more of a rating but the game won’t even open for me, never has . Why?

Boring and Lots of Time Delays
by MrsLJ on 2019/10/16 22:11
The core gameplay is a worse version of the Infinity Blade series. There are also many time constraints which make you wait hours at first then days and weeks and maybe some make you wait months but I won’t be sticking around to find out.
Elder scrolls blades
by Mm"9$7Xz on 2019/10/16 22:10
Initially I gave this a 5 star rating early in my playing.

According to the laws of probability you could have had each load out, load out and all the probabilities (that actually get chosen by people in different timelines) get merged in dragon breaks, so you can do that crap.

by Kee gra-Boldahg on 2019/10/16 02:25
It’s so. .

Great start

Fix it

Great game!
