Great game but some improvement is needed
by Daniel14456433 on 2019/12/14 14:53
This game is pretty great so far. The combat is fun and exploring the world during quests is pretty great too. This is about what I would expect for a mobile version of an Elder Scrolls game. I also like the town-building aspect. However the micro transactions need to go. I would much rather pay a full price up front to unlock everything and get rid of all the timers and gems. I’d be willing to pay a similar price to console or PC games. Or let people play a few quests and build a few things for free, then pay to unlock the full version. Also the combat is good but sometimes having to hold down before attacking isn’t intuitive. Maybe swiping motions would be better? Like swipe right or left to swing your sword right or left?
Addictive but frustrating
by julianna162 on 2019/12/14 11:17
I’ll start off by saying I really love this game!! I honestly could play it for hours! With that being said, I’ve noticed that if you have to leave a quest early for whatever reason or you die, and you try to return to the quest at a later time, you will likely have issues completing the quest. For example, I was playing the Silk Farm Hunt quest and died. The next day I tried to play the quest again, but the key I needed to open one of the gates was no longer available. I found it the first time I played, but the second time it just simply wasn’t there. This isn’t the first time I’ve been unable to finish a quest due to some kind of issue that appears after having played through at least once before.
update problems

Arena battles.
by Blaithin76 on 2019/12/14 07:14
I like the game but the arena battles are pretty unfair. I’m level 35 and everyone they match me up against is either 3 to 4 levels higher or they have super resistance or weapons. I refuse to pay for upgrades just to compete. Make the matches more fair. Everyone they match me up against has armor at least 50 to 100 more then me. You pretty much win right there.
Rebalance Arena
by xXBassAckwrdsXx on 2019/12/14 06:20
I love this game, but I’d like to see three things (one of which I don’t expect to see): PLEASE rebalance the arena matchmaking. I get matched with nothing but high level, high gear players. There aren’t any fairly balanced matches. Also, there’s pretty much only one playstyle: standard fighter who can cast spells. It would be nice to flesh out a class system and balance the game so they can be playable (slash and smash is pretty much the only effective playstyle). Finally, if you rebalanced the encounter/fight system, it would be nice to have ranged weapons, but I don’t anticipate this happening, as I said.

Only thing wrong is the arena
by lose account3105 on 2019/12/14 01:59
A very great game. The graphics are pretty good and the gameplay is amazing. The different ways you can go with the game is amazing and I would suggest this game to anybody. The only problem that I have (this is for the game designers) is that powers like poison, fire and ice are just to overpowered in the arena. As I am playing in the arena, my opener is sitting with his shield up and the only time he attacks is when I’m stunned, which they usually use two or three spells that immediately take away about 3/4 of my HP. The shield stunning brings me up to my next point. I think that it shouldn’t be as effective and that it makes fights in the arena not as fun or interesting. As for the rest of the game, it is amazing. The only part of the game that could be improved is the arena( which I understand because it just came out). Thank you so much if you read this and are considering changing the arena.
Great story and combat
by Jurrasic-refund on 2019/12/14 01:58
Very addictive, my only complaint is the movement system, it could be smoother. Otherwise a great game

by KirtAngle on 2019/12/14 01:38
Terrible, compares nothing to the real Skyrim. This game is just badly thought out , the play style is just whack because I want to actually move my character around and right more freely and even wonder around more freely but I can’t. Work on this game and continue to update it, keep it up 👍🏽.
Seems fun but

Arena is trash
by Rebel817 on 2019/12/13 23:26
Great update. Arena is annoying. Annoying enough to make me put my phone down. Pretty sure that’s not the plan you guys had . Mismatched battles. I know I need to change my perks but why? Should have a set for arena and a set for regular play. In the meantime I’ll just put this away till the next update.
Loading time

Terrible, full of micro transactions
by silentfury007 on 2019/12/13 23:17
This game is garbage. You have to pay out the nose to do anything. There’s no content, and seriously, let’s stop giving Bethesda any money until they make actually quality games again.
I can’t even play!

Update: Screw this game: update 1.5 did nothing to improve it
by Stquincy on 2019/12/13 17:17
Man I hate this game. I’ll never play it again. Unfortunately, I paid real money (not too much), and I regret it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD this money grabbing game! These G.E.D. high school diploma developers are just trying to rip you off. I’ve been waiting for the new “update” 1.5, and it’s terrible. Whatever you do, don’t read the 5 star reviews, read the 1 star reviews, which are real. Bethesda seems to “hide” the 1 star reviews because they know it’s all true. Guarantee Bethesda will discontinue this “Early Access” game soon, like they did the cad game, so PLEASE don’t waste any real money. It will always be “Early Access” because it’s such a bad game. The PVP arena is a joke. Guess everyone in there spent over $1,000,000 dollars or something because you can never win. Combat is just as unbalanced as it always has been. All I do is use health potions and die. And do you know how much these creep developers charge for health potions? Played a 1 skull quest (and I’m level 41 with good gear, tempered and repaired). Well, after using about three health potions, dead. Same as before. Most unbalanced combat system ever. Again, do you know how much health potions cost in this game? Bethesda: do the right thing, fire your developers, and pull this BS game off the store and stop trying to hype it up.
Just stuck on loading screen

Game not worth it if I can’t play it
Arena Crashing
by Spiritcrush00r on 2019/12/13 14:40
Obsessed with this game but I keep losing trophies because the app crashes almost every time I do arena. Also, during quests, health should regenerate when you’re not in combat. It’s dumb that it doesn’t.
They don’t care
by Dota guy on 2019/12/13 13:44
You’ll invest 3 years and tons of money to this game and they just cancel it out of nowhere. Look at Elder Scrolls Legends. Don’t trust this company
Thank god
by dankmemer69h3h3 on 2019/12/13 12:29
Literally dropped the game after getting to level 15 because of the stupid chest timers, and extremely hard gameplay with little loot gain. New update should change that, right? I’ve already spent close to 80$ on the game and even then I STILL got tired of it because of those other 2 problems. Hopefully I get my money’s worth now.
Playability
by Mr_Shy_Guy on 2019/12/13 08:03
I have heard and seen good reviews about this game and wanted to give it a try, but I am unable to do so because it remains on a loading screen when I try to play it. I have tried several solutions, uninstalling and re-installing, shutting my device off and turning it back on and nothing seems to work.
fun game But, i have been getting 1 bug lately
by RmegTN on 2019/12/13 06:58
lately whenever i enter a battle for the arena the game force closes automatically, it use to fo it after i win the 1st battle, now it does it right before the battle even starts
better controls
by YGK.2x on 2019/12/13 06:26
i feel like the controls could be better, add better on screen controls where we can jump and fight with buttons it would be so much better thank you🤧 plzzz implement this idea it would be for the better really 😭😭
Stellar synopsis

Great

No chest timer is a major step forward to show that the publisher has listened to users. I took a month off until i saw this update.
Arena mode
by ShadowNight713 on 2019/12/13 05:36
Great game will update review when they fix the crashes. Doesn’t make sense to gain maybe 20 trophies in arena win but because game crashes mid battle I lose 100 trophies.
NO FREE WORLD
by Sage88888888123 on 2019/12/13 05:16
You’re improving a city but the game lacks a lot relative to the rest of the pc game series... I think I may be expecting too much but elder scrolls was too good to pass up on so I have higher standards now
Great game!
by hempthegreen on 2019/12/13 01:04
I’ve been a f2p player for a while now. Lv 22 ! The graphics are amazing , gameplay amazing! After the recent update with addition guilds, extra loot and better rewards given when you find a secret door, pvp and trading with guild members; I’d say the game is very well designed so far and can’t wait until the full launch of the game! Some things I’d like to see added to the game; - able to roam outside of the city like the Console versions (even if it was a Expansion pack that you’d have to buy) I’d buy it! - little larger Dungeons - Little larger character skill tree - promotions within a guild etc Overall I give this game a 5/5 stars because for the quality And gameplay for a free to play game it’s unreal . Well done!
Double wielding sword combat
by BDillDill on 2019/12/12 23:13
I’d like it if you added double wielding swords and when you hold down on one half of the screen it would swing with that sword and it would still be able to block and it would block in a x shape with the blades
I love this game
by civ master on 2019/12/12 22:46
I’ve been an Elder Scrolls fan since Morrowind and I have to say I’ve been waiting for this. The gameplay is user friendly although the tutorial lacks a bit anyone who is a fan will be able to pick this game up and excel with ease. With that in mind I just have a couple things none of which affect my 5 star rating but would make this already great game that much better. 1. Trading I love how you have it set up so that you can help your mates but this is very limited. Currently you can pick one resource that you need every 8 hours and you can only donate every few hours. I feel that this is lacking and until newer players build up their town with more shops it’s very hard to unload unwanted gear and get the gold you desperately need. Why not open a market in the main screen where people can buy and sell with all players not just friends people can post their goods for a price and other people can buy them who might not be as built up. This could also help higher ranked players to sell their obsolete but very useful items to players who are looking for a little boost or maybe bigger players can buy huge items they only dream of from people who are better its a win-win. Either way the current format is very restrictive as I would love to help my clan mates more than once per day. 2.Third person perspective I love this game but it is annoying that I can’t see my character performing in the gear if worked so hard to get. Every RPG I’ve ever played had an option to use the character in 3rd person and without the open exploration format of comparable RPGs it should be pretty easy for devs to accomplish this. All and all a very fine game I can’t wait to be the arena grand master some day thanks very much for such an awesome way to burn my free time BaldyTheEagle

Arena mode is great - FIX TROPHIES
by Ry guy 1234567 on 2019/12/12 22:15
Arena update is awesome. Idk why some people are criticizing it. The matchmaking seems to have absolutely nothing to do with trophies and rank. It matches you with someone close to your level and close to your attack/armor rating. It’s such a fair system. I can have 300 trophies and be dueling a guy with 500 but it’s okay because we have the exact same (or very similar) stats and therefore the same chance of winning. Occasionally I get someone a bit too high for me or a bit too low, but 90% of the time, I get a good, competitive match. Right now I’m ranked in the top 200 (which might not be impressive seeing as it’s only day 2 of arena) and I have yet to face anyone with a higher amount of trophies than me. Which makes sense because most people with more trophies than me are wayyyyy to high level for me to beat right now. So your rank depends on your trophies and your trophies depend on wins and losses, not personal level. That way, lower level people can still be ranked high because they are winning competitive matches consistently against people around their level with gear similar to theirs (at least that’s what it seems to be for now. Hope they keep it this way). Your arena rank has little to do with your actual level and more to do with if you are good at winning duels. While money is definitely a factor in arena mode, the matches tend to give you people with similar armor ratings, making it much less pay to win than what was first expected. Also the emotes are fantastic come out with more (preferably free to get somehow, maybe in elder chests? That would give us more of a reason to open elder chests rather than wait to open them until level 46+ when we are guaranteed the good stuff). UPDATE: Please patch how many trophies you lose per loss. 1) I gain like 6-12 trophies each win and then lose like 50 to a guy with less trophies than me but the same or higher stats and equipment. 2) MY GAME CRASHED AND I LOST 91 TROPHIES????? I love the arena but if this isn’t patched soon, it will ruin it.
New Update is Garbage
by Oli Ben Zani on 2019/12/12 20:19
Following the update the game gets stuck on the load screen or if I manage to get in the game crashes during the middle of a quest. Overall I find this game to be very disappointing. I am at Level 49 but continually have no chance when fighting the opposition even when the mission is set at the one star difficulty. I think the whole thing may be a con to get you to spend actual money on the game.
Crashes
by HeartlessFiend on 2019/12/12 19:45
Literally played the game 1 time, I enjoyed the game but unfortunately I cannot play it anymore as now I try to log in it crashes every single time!
I’m addicted to this game!
by tylerbigham on 2019/12/12 19:36
I started playing this when the early access first started and I love it. The graphics are great and controls are easy to use on mobile. And now they’ve added the arena and guilds which is super cool. I can’t wait to see what else they add in the future!
arena matchmaking is broken.
by Lam1993 on 2019/12/12 19:32
Arena mode is good for the gold, but it is broken. You could be doing so well then you get someone that is hacking or exploiting and your health and stamina stop regenerating or the opponent can’t be defeated even though he has zero health and keeps regenerating his health. Thanks Bethesda. Was almost at the third arena till you gave me three of these exploiters. It is not fair how you only gain 1-3 points on a win and lose 60 points from a supposed loss. If they weren’t exploiting I would have won those too! This review is staying one star till you fix that problem.
Nice Game For iPad
by FLUXFAZE on 2019/12/12 19:15
Updated to version 1.5 on iPad 6th gen. Nice new features. Still crashing a lot in no discernible pattern, even when it’s the only app up and running on the iPad. So can’t tell if its poor memory management or method swizzling issues. Getting to a point that aggravation from all the crashes isn’t worth playing the game anymore. In addition to reducing crash frequency, creation of gear sets for selection of a set for a specific type of fight will reduce tedium of switching four or five items of gear each time a new fight spec requirement arises. UPDATE: After closing all apps and doing a forced restart of the iPad crashes are less frequent. We’ll see if they ramp up again (as they have after doing this preciously). Char lvl 59 and geared up to handle any NPC type so I decided to make an in-app purchase of the Ice & Light Bundle while it was in sale at 60% off as thanks to Bethesda for a game I have enjoyed playing, despite the crashing issues. The purchase transaction seemed to process through without error but have not received the goods yet. If they ever do arrive, I’ll make a second purchase for Gems. UPDATE: Crash frequency increasing again after forced restart. In-App purchase from the store apparently was never processed at all which is fine because version 1.5 is all screwed up. Arena NPCs are unbeatable even though they’re multiple levels below my character and my character is thoroughly geared up now and able to handle quest NPCs fine. I’ll just continue playing for free until Bethesda fixes more defects in the game.
Stupid
by Taster763 on 2019/12/12 19:11
Hate the arena. I always get matched with opponents who are way stronger and that I can’t beat so basically it’s pointless. I want a full refund
Arena keeps crashing
by HedgeSpin on 2019/12/12 18:36
Overall a good experience, however, since arena has been introduced the app keeps crashing. Lost a lot of progress as the app would crash in the middle of a fight. At least the app should know that it crashed and should not reduce the progress points made by the player. Please restore lost progress due to crashes.
Great Action-RPG game! Only 1 or 2 bugs.
by Idriss3000 on 2019/12/12 17:37
If you’re and fan of console and PC games, you’ll love Blades. The customization of your character and town is very cool. I think it’s one of the key factors that keep the player immersed in the game. Cons: There’s a bug in the “difficulty ratings” when taking on Jobs for the town “Quests and side Jobs are NOT balanced”. This really needs to be addressed.
Silk Hunt
by james the uknown on 2019/12/12 13:05
Every time I go into silk hunt there is no spider eggs to destroy therefore I cannot get the second key to complete the level and I cannot continue the story. If this bug is fixed this is a five star experience with great features
Good game
by Mst0rm7 on 2019/12/12 12:22
This game is cool but one thing is the controls, I guess it’ll take some time to get used to. Not really a mobile gamer like the new generation.
Love it but arena needs work!!
by CharlieP_18 on 2019/12/12 11:07
Arena is still a working progress which is cool but it’s super laggy and glitchy and some opponents are just way too strong to match with
Was fun, now just a rage game.
by perform888 on 2019/12/12 07:28
I love this game a lot...before. I have been experiencing issues of people who are level 33 being extremely strong and easily killing me. Everything now is overpowered. In a undangerous quest, I can easily be killed by s goblin. Everything is so overpowered. I’m level 39 and I can now be easily killed. This game was once my favorite game, now, I don think so. Also with the long sword maces and war axes, they were once slow, but this? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? While small weapons like daggers and light hsmmers are way faster than any other weapon, this is disappointing. Just disappointing. Further into this game I noticed other people’s weapons are way faster than mine and that they get far less time in the shock mode
Good, but...
by Gollyspy on 2019/12/12 07:02
Amazing game, but the new arena update is buggy. The game regularly crashes mid-battle, which affects your overall arena standing. At minimum, there should be some sort of compensation for the crashes! Hopefully it’s fixed soon.

Excellent update, needs work
by Keyboard jam 1648472 on 2019/12/12 05:15
Honestly I’m pleasantly surprised by how fair the developers were with the chests! Getting rid of the timers was the best and refunding gems spent on expanding the sheet slots and increasing the inventory size was absolutely beautifully done! The long expected area is here and and unexpected guild option is very cool! Top notch this game has definitely earned its 5 stars back! Some people are cheating in the arena. Some how my successful hits are dealing zero damage it’s like I’m not hitting them and they are not dodging or anything. Also arena shouldn’t wear down your equipment.
I love it!!! Makes me want to play Skyrim so you win
by Twinster277 on 2019/12/12 05:06

Too slow moving
by Forsworn1725 on 2019/12/12 04:12
When I saw Skyrim I thought it would be a combat filled rpg like game, similar to the original. Instead I get a city building vibe, it takes too long to rebuild the city, everything is too expensive and it just feels kinda slow. Honestly could be an impressive mobile game without the slowness.

Legendary Artifacts? What are those.
by Jordan ma girl on 2019/12/12 03:44
I was researching this game a while back trying to figure out an easy way to get the artifacts like Lord’s Mail or Molag Bal’s Mace, and it said that you used to be able to get them from the abyss, so I guess what I’m saying is, could you add them to extremely difficult quests, or perhaps add them back to the abyss. Thx, love the game btw.

Arena PVP is broken
by baspaw on 2019/12/12 02:48
The game has a communication error and quits causing you to lose your pvp arena match and many of the points you worked hard to get. This happens about 2 in 5 matches and if you are matched up with someone with a much lower rating than you, expect to lose a bunch of points when the game decides to quit itself because the developers created a broken pvp system. There is so much potential, but right now this game is broken and a waste of time because of it.
Impossible to advance without paying
by sheepgoat555 on 2019/12/12 02:38
I am currently level 16, and after about 14, getting levels can take weeks, mainly because to get you pay, them make adventures impossible without better equipment, which you can only get by paying or advancing in the game. This review however, is not totally negative. I love the game, the pvp mode is a good solution, although ranked matches need some work. It is a great. Totally suggest, just prepare to be frustrated over having to pay to advance after level 14
Game was cool
by Crazychicen on 2019/12/12 02:05
I loved the game but The game doesn’t let me pass the rebuilding the town center so I think you should add a way to delete your character
It’s great, really.
by Brnbrnnnnmm on 2019/12/12 02:03
To keep this constructive I feel no need to tell you how great the game is coming along because it is. Bethesda is leading the wave in great iOS games and what they potentially could be. My feedback would be to a team take a look at the quest and how balanced they are. I find my character having either quest that have all 5 skulls (very difficult) to having no skull quest (very easy with no real gain) because of this I find my character having no real way of grinding quest. I can’t take more then 2 enemies in a 5 skull quest. And the lesser skull quest don’t give enough to compensate for the fact that quest come in ever however many hours. Which means either spend money or close the app. And seeing as how youv removed the timer on chest I think you guys are trying your best to blend the in app purchase mechanic with a real meaty game (like all Bethesda games are) so in summary - make quest more dynamic in difficulty - offer more ways to make gold -remove the quest timer For what it’s worth, doing either of those would make the experience more enjoyable.

So far so good, I’ve been playing for about 3 days I’m level 14 and my town is level 4. The quests have gotten increasingly more challenging fairly fast which is great because it gives me a reason to grind out the quests for better level up materials. I like that the update makes the chest free to open so I can use the gems to speed up the progress on my town. 3rd person view would be nice, and I think the ability to visit other players cities would be awesome as well. I’m definitely gonna stick around to see how you guys (developers) progress. Great game!

I’m getting degraded in the Arena for losing connection to my opponent. Also when my opponent quits, the screen freezes and I can’t do anything but quit the game.

Arena is not good
by Biofreeze868 on 2019/12/12 00:09
I was looking forward to the arena mode but I can’t seem to win that much I have all exquisite gear and am several levels above the enemy or several below and either way I can’t win which either they are cheating or the game is horribly imbalanced which I’m going to say some of both the single player is fun I would say stay away from the Arena mode until they work out the bugs
Awesome!

This is one of the best games you could find on the App Store. The game is really fun, and addicting! And am really happy how the game is developing. It’s getting better and better by each update. Though, I have been running in to some problems. When am playing through a Mission/Job. It kicks be out of the app randomly, I know it’s not my iPad because it didn’t do this before the Christmas update. Another bug is when you get finished killing anything and walk over the dead body it glitches like crazy then stops and gets stuck in a awkward position. Other then that the game is perfect. Have a nice day. edit: ok so, I have been seeing more bugs after play for awhile more. When am going back to my town after completing a mission, it kicks me out of the game. And I have to start the mission over again (sometimes). And when am opening a chest it kicks my out of the game as well. Anyway I’ll get back to you if I find more.. if I can play the game for at least 10 minutes.
OMG 😱 SO COOL!

My Prior Negative Review Was Deleted For Some Reason. Goes with the Game
by DCmapa on 2019/12/11 22:24
UPDATE: Okay the pluses to the new update are good — no timers and more loot. Issues are still: 1. Guilds— I can visit others and see how good or bad their towns are. I can buy the same stuff in my town. I can get hit up to share my stuff. So, what else can i do? Nothing so far. We can’t even trade. 2. Arena — Many times opponents with allegedly lower stats can hit me 2-3 times and I lose. Often the controls won’t work to even let me hit back. The damage to my armor costs so much to repair it is not worth it. I did win twice when the other player got disconnected cause the program is buggy. Looking at the leaderboard and I see that in less than 24 hours someone already has 900 wins? 900. Each fight is between 3-5 minutes. That means this person played for 2 days straight without stopping — in 24hours. 3. Jobs — more loot is very nice, but making one of the regular characters a “boss” doesn’t do that much. Still would be nice to travel. 4. Chests. Let me pick when to open pls. I don’t need to have them all opened immediately. 5. Game crashes a lot. ONE MAJOR PLUS — the chests are upgraded in the secret rooms. Up to Gold even. So that is major. I’d like to roam. I’d like to be able to improve my stuff without have in to spend 1 million gp and wait a year to get some rare substance. Can we have something for the townsfolk to do? Can we go into the buildings or even the Town Hall? Can we get some credit from the town and shops for spending millions to make them look nice? Again, this game is larger in memory than the original Elder Scrolls with a mil-fraction of the land mass. Since it’s online why can’t we roam? Update from One Star Review: I’m level 58, Town level 10 with 4.3 million gp. Now at three stars. Better. Guilds are cool sounding but not much. Arena is okay but lots of people with same mythical armor that is somehow way above mine. Lots more loot and all jobs have a designated boss. NO CHEST TIMERS. YAY.

This is definitely one of the better mobile games haven’t found for a while after Ark. There are a few things I would like to see change. The first one is dual wielding. Whenever I played Skyrim I would typically dual wield, but after a couple days playing, I haven’t seen the option to do that. Another thing is dialogue. I know that This is still early access but more voice acting would be nice. Now last but not least, is open world exploration. I loved skyrim for its open world concept. But I think it was lost on this game so if there are any huge changes you’re thinking of doing that would be awesome to see. Thank you for your time
I love the new update, but…
by Wolf Shadowcaster on 2019/12/11 19:32
I love the game, and the new update looks great, but you really need to work on the lag problem for the arena. If either player has a bad connection, attacks won’t connect, regardless of what the opponent is doing. And while some matches will disconnect, it’s tiresome have rounds time out because you can’t attack the opponent.
Great game, new bug
by IMT2016 on 2019/12/11 19:17
I enjoy the game, but since the most recent update there has been a visual glitch that I’ve been experiencing. When opening the game and sitting in the menus or in town there’s a large box and smaller white boxes about halfway up the screen
Great until 1.5 update.
by Blakeg94 on 2019/12/11 19:07
I never really got into the elder scrolls games until this one. Everything was going good until I did the update on it and played it for about an hour. It closed my game out and now when I try to open it it’s starts loading and then kicks me back to my home screen closing itself again. Idk if anyone else is having this problem but it’s the only downside I have seen so far.
Glitch?

I used to play this game a lot, but then it got extremely repetitive and eventually to a point where it seemed like it took weeks to make an further progress. But I have a small problem. I had started out as an Argonian with an Argonian name, but I decided to change to a Breton before noticing you can’t change your name. The game overall is fine, it’s just the fact that you can’t definitively “start over”, per se.
Ok update
by Drastyz on 2019/12/11 16:25
It’s cool and all that they removed the chest timers (probably because of all of the backlash they got for the Fallout 1st bs) but they also added emotes, which is a sign they’re just gonna add lots of microtransactions to compensate for the loss in gem usage. Also I’ve noticed the critical hits don’t work like they did before the update. I’ve gotten like 2 total critical hits doing more than 5 quests. It’s sad to see Bethesda crumble and turn into EA. I’d rather pay upfront for a good product like the old school no-online PS2 days knowing it won’t have money grabbing tactics.

Leaderboard penalty for unstable arena servers?
by smroe96 on 2019/12/11 10:12
I loved the arena in new update, but n the last four hours, the stability dropped and I either got disconnected or my app crashed in multiple arena fights. When I managed to successfully reload app, I had lost about 40 arena trophies for a match I had been winning but got disconnected from by server. That is BS. After hours of the app not loading, the first arena match back disconnected at the moment of victory and I dropped over 140 trophies. Not fair play. I’m going to wait and see if it gets better before I spend any more time and effort trying to climb leaderboard.

Love this series
by GainGreeen on 2019/10/01 03:09
I have loved and played this series for a while now. They are notoriously detailed and isn’t the kind of game you can rush through in a Ref Bull binge on Saturday night. That’s actually the cool part to me. I’ve spent like 10 bucks and really didn’t have to but I was so impatient and excited to play that I just pulled the trigger on it. I’m level 11 now and it absolutely got a lot harder on me quickly and suddenly. My town is level 5 because I only recently started concentrating on upgrading it. It changes a lot of the game up and provides more options for quests. I’ve got okay armor, green shield with fire resist, a legendary sword that is pretty sweet and a green pendant. It’s a little harder to find premium gems than I’d like on quests but as you level up they award you with decent bags of them. Graphically it looks identical to the console version of the game. Only request I have for developers is to make the 3rd person zoom out option available like on the console version of the game. I’m just WAY more of a third person RPG’er than first person. I’m an older gamer and first person makes me dizzy sometimes. JS. Please keep working on this because I’m hooked and can’t wait to see where this goes. I played Order n Chaos for 3 years and would grind for hours to get what I needed to upgrade stuff. I also spent about 2,000 bucks on stuff but felt that every dollar was worth it. Don’t regret any of it. This could be my next “every free second” RPG.
Perfect for mobile
by inkdupskin on 2019/06/20 12:23
I've played this for awhile now. I also read all the reviews where people are saying is boring or hard around level 9. Here's the deal, this game is awesome if played correctly I'm currently level 24, with my town about level 7 ( just a bit under ), I don't know if people are not building their towns up, but that actually expands the game, brings in new missions, upgrading shops gives better options to craft or buy with in game currency. Early on when things are easy upgrade your inventory slots and chest capacity with the free premium gems they give you ( I get a lot free fighting in the dungeons) I have over 700 now, never bought anything. Time your chest timers around your work day, open gold while you sleep, never run into waiting issues. As far as combat and complaining about dying, here's a tip get the healing dodge and upgrade it, choose your talents and perks wisely, craft health absorbing armor and jewelry, with the right loadout, and proper potion planning, no quest is too difficult, the challenging ones are harder because they're supposed to be, you'll have a wonderful feeling of accomplishment when they drop a free legendary chest on you. I'm level 24, all eleven gear, rings and necklace, usually have 15-20 various chests to cycle through, over 700 premium gems saved up from free drops, haven't spent a dime of real life currency. Play smart play often, this is an unbelievable free offering from the elder scrolls franchise!!!!
Fantastic, fantastic!!!
by Johnny Johnny Sykes on 2019/08/01 16:38
I played for a month before writing this review because I understand it is still a beta release, Blades, in my opinion is by far the best game on a cellphone and trust me that I should be a critic I have played and deleted thousands of games. With all that being said Blades has amazing graphics that I would expect on a console, the gameplay is amazingly polished especially because you can tell they are improving it daily, when I first started Blades would shut down or freeze every so often (once a day) and now I cannot remember the last time that has happened. The pace of the game seems perfect to me as some days I don’t have as much time I will open the treasure chests and construct new buildings in my city and on the days I want to grind for gold, material or weapons etc etc... Blades surely lets me decide my own pace. I believe Bethesda is by far the best game developing company ever to make games so this is not a impartial review, I already knew I would love this game as I have from everything they have ever released. So far the only thing I would like added to Blades is the ability to change between first person and third person as so many of Bethesda games have done in the past, it is amazing that this game is free because I dropped many other games off of my phone, Blades is all I need. Thank you Bethesda and also a thanks goes out to whoever read this book I just wrote.
Entertaining
by Tug Boat Builder on 2019/06/21 02:00
The game is entertaining and can easily be finished with f2p. P2P will obviously have a massive advantage, but this is almost completely mitigated late game. The game becomes repetitive and a grind after level 35ish, which is fine for me and many other players, but may not be your ideal game. As a higher level it will take hours of gameplay for a single level with the game only currently having a few different maps and job types; maybe 40 different jobs in total. The mission difficulty is currently far to easy as once you can make the top gear you can stand still against the hardest enemies in a job for a full minute before they will kill you; add in abilities that heal/mitigate damage and they can't harm you. The developers are actively updating, but are sadly making the game easier and easier. Overall I am happy giving it a 5 star since it has entertained me and will continue to entertain me for many hours. I would suggest to the developers to make the game harder, and perhaps add in kill stats to know how many kills you have and damage you have done. Perhaps in in-game dossier to see enemy stats. My biggest issue is that the level-up rewards are completely unbalanced and worthless. 300,000 experience for a level and 5 grand soul gems was rather disappointing and should either be converted to far higher amounts or simply give us gems.
Strong Start
by Supahfly90 on 2019/06/19 04:30
Currently this game is in Early Access as I write this review. As a long time fan of the Elder Scrolls series I had my guard up when starting this game. It’s not an open-world as you might expect. It’s quite linear where you have to upgrade your town after it’s been destroyed and you do this by completing quests and jobs to collect gold, materials, and equipment for your character. So it has all of the basic RPG elements. The reason why I have given it five stars is because of how well the system works on a mobile game. Most mobile games are terrible in my opinion and this one has quality. There are the options to open up chests quicker and have more inventory slots and gold by paying real money, but you don’t feel as if you have to pay real money to actually progress and enjoy the game. Just be patient. The graphics are truly incredible for a mobile game and the ability to seamlessly switch from portrait to landscape mode and have the game keep up is impressive. I do wish there was more variety to the dungeon layouts as well as to the settings for the dungeons. Such as having open layouts where you don’t feel like you’re going in such a linear path and I think it would give it more of an “open world” feel.
Beautiful money pit
by Brindlehund on 2019/10/13 20:12
I am at level 36, so have spent time and money on this game. It is fun and frustrating. Game play is good, I like the way you can combine spells and weapons play. Graphics are beautiful. It is worth just looking around in the game. The money pit is subtle. It is hard to find or buy the ingredients for health potions and they are rare in chests. Healing skills are not easy to use, and unless you only do easy quests and jobs, you will need health potions, lots of them. Many jobs are over your level. With health potions you can tackle them, but without them you can only handle the lower level jobs. At this point, I have spent serious money on the game and still have a stack of jobs too difficult for my character. You can buy missing ingredients with gems and you can buy gems with real money. You will eventually have to spend money, lots of it, to challenge yourself. A smaller frustration is you cannot use even high level two handed weapons on enemies near your level. Neither the two handed weapon, nor your spells will offer sufficient defense. Another frustration is the merchants never seem to have enough gold to buy the loot you don’t need, and if you sell low level supplies, you will have a really tough time finding them later on. This means you need a large pack. You can increase your pack size with skill points or gems. You will get a few gems in the game, but not as many as you need. Best phone game around, but expensive.
Great start
by the kid with the hat on 2019/05/08 17:43
I think its fun and it's got potential. Obviously right now there's not a lot of variety and some parts are pretty unbalanced, but it looks beautiful and reminds me of the console games without just trying to copy them (although i was a little sad the bears weren't tougher). I think y'all did a great job so far, and here's just a few more specific suggestions I hope y'all consider: 1. Quick weapon/shield swap button in combat. Considering the dungeons currently consist entirely of walking up to enemies and fighting them one on one, the fact that in challenging missions you often need to open up the menu to optimize your loadout for every other battle is kind of a pain. Eg, the way most crypt levels are all wights and skeletons, which have the exact opposite resistance/weakness. Does it remind me of the console games? Yeah. Is it still annoying? Yeah. A button in the corner to quick swap your loadout would be awesome. 2. Library or something. I'm sure y'all are working on lots more buildings already, but i'd just like to suggest that one hold the information on enemy weaknesses, resistances, abilities etc. It's just confusing to try to remember the tips. You could even make it quest based, like the researcher guy says go kill 10 wights and he'll add them to the library or whatever. Just an idea to add more variety to the town and help the player keep track of all the game elements.
Fix it

This game has great potential but it’s not there yet , I have been playing a couple of days now and I’ve noticed that it’s very hard to continue with out paying money as far as graphics go it’s wonderful but it still lags and glitches a lot , the thing that bothers me is that I was on a level that 4/5 skill and that’s not that hard but I killed 4 troll who had hit/attacked a lot more than the last but even though I have a full bar of health I some how die from two hits?, not to mention almost every time I tried to hit a button to use my magic or my abilities it wouldn’t let me , the game has so much potential but what bothers me is you have to pay to win . The features I wish they would add are some of the simple ones that I think would make a really big difference and let the player enjoy the game more , like being able to carry around food that would be awesome one level I only had two things to eat and ultimately ended up losing , I wish you could find more building materials sometimes if I’m luck I could get like 3 maybe 4 on a quest or job , I also feel they could maybe allow followers that would be cool but this game has a lot of potential. Thanks for making a game like this for the phone but I hope to see you improve it in the future I wouldn’t mind if you had to pay like 10 bucks for a full game like Skyrim kinda rather than pay like 100+ to get what I need to complete a level then ultimately pay more plus some in the future.
Huge potential
by CptSteampunk on 2019/06/16 18:44
So far, I’m really enjoying this game. The combat is unique, way different from what I would have ever expected. It’s a really good surprise. I like the combat a lot, and since this is a mobile game, it makes it easy to use, so it’s not overwhelming you just trying to get one hit in like some other games I have played. Story isn’t too engaging just yet, but I’m only level 9 as of writing this. The chest unlocking feature, I’ve seen this a lot and I quite frankly enjoy opening silver chests, since they’re worth they hour long wait. Gold chests are also exciting to open. Wooden chests almost always have resources I badly need to build up my town. When I get new items, I’m actually just constantly checking if stuff gets easier so I can have more of a challenge, and progress in this good game. Building up a town to unlock missions is a way to make you prepared for other missions and an easy way to add new characters into the story, so as you develop your city, so does the story. This is a great idea, glad you did it. Great mobile game, easy to learn how to play and what you do, and it’s really fun. Okay, a big thing that I think can change is the quest system. So far it’s just repeating the same thing, but in different areas for slightly different reasons, over and over for progress in the game. I guess that’s not so bad, so keep up the good work.
A little disappointed
by Defcon106 on 2019/05/21 16:26
This game is actually pretty good and very pretty. The combat is actually a little less clunky than Skyrim somehow, but also really slow. I know it’s a mobile game so I’m willing to forgive that, but you can’t move while you fight, which I don’t fully understand. The reason I’m only giving this 3 stars is the network issues. You’d think that Bethesda would have learned from fallout 76 that a always connected game is garbage, but it is mobile and therefore a cash grab. They always want to offer you things in the store, even during single player quests, so you always have to be connected. I have a few spots I like to play games that don’t have the best connection, like the subway and I can’t play this one at all. I miss my gameboy, where the whole game was right there to play and enjoy, we just don’t get that anymore because of online shops. It’s just sad because this could be a really fun game, but I’ll probably get bored with all the waiting for loading so I’m probably not going to bother spending anything on it. All the stuff you buy is just for materials and gear that you could get from rewards for the quests, but you can’t do the quests unless you have a great connection. I even got dropped from a quest because of a weak connection and lost 5 gems (the premium currency). Give me an offline mode and I’ll probably continue playing. At least there are no ads.
A pretty money pit
by Agamemnerd on 2019/08/02 13:42
Without spending money, you’ll progress slowly in this game. My typical experience is dungeons will give you about 1500 gold and cost 2000 gold in repairs on your armor and weapons – logging in daily for free handouts will offset this if you were happy only actually play once a week., Materials are rarely available at vendors – upgrading vendors upgrades their materials but they stop selling the ‘older/common’ stuff when in fact they should have more of that stuff - which you need for tempering/enhancing your armor and weapons... The game will actually punish you if you upgrade your town past what your current level is in terms of the armor and weapons you would like to forge or upgrade. I hope this gets fixed. The other option is spending gems for materials you can’t really farm, can’t buy from vendors, and only drop rarely during play – pay to win(ish). It’s a beta game; I hope they rebalance it so that paying to win is an option but not a requirement; right now it pretty much is a requirement. Biggest gripe: vendors that are upgraded offer better stuff in terms of weapons, armor, potions, materials; they need to continue to offer even more of the older stuff that they originally sold. Having to use gems to pay for Dwarven ingots because my blacksmith only sells ebony is ridiculous.
Great Game
by A nickname for review on 2019/11/15 13:14
Oct 2019: Elder scrolls has great graphics, a well thought through story line, and is very playable on iPad. I love the opt out of analytics feature. It took some time to kick in (24 hours). The last game I played showed no respect to players in this area, conducted fraudulent pay to play charges, and ruined any hope I will lightly provide donations to game devs ever again. My rating will move to five stars if a subscription cost were possible rather than pay to play which is full of privacy invading and insulting advertising tactics. Third party views would make it perfect. Update November 2019: I have been thoroughly enjoying this game! It is challenging yet free to play is possible. The graphics in the game outshine any mobile game I have played so far. It has never crashed once. It keeps providing delicious graphical surprises just when I thought I saw the same pattern one too many times. I haven’t had this much fun since playing Eternium. Well done! This game is not just eye candy though, you need to work out which gear will be effective for each encounter in order to receive achievable quests. The potions are tricky and could use improvement, it is unclear in which conditions they become available above the health bar, whether they stack etc.
Unenjoyable reward structure
by Quartz Collector on 2019/05/06 20:29
While Blades provides some level of satisfying dungeon crawler gameplay with the combat, earning the rewards is not at all a fun experience. Being unable to open any of the chests I find during a dungeon run because I have a 1 or 6 hour timer running on opening a better chest is disappointing. The changes to silver chests have helped with the bloat on chest capacity, minorly, but requires that I spend more time worrying about timers. Collecting the variety of materials needed to construct buildings, craft weapons and armor, or potions is dull as it is either through chests or jobs, the repeatable grind of side-missions. The main quest does provide needed materials early on, but is hardly a reliable source later. Blades feels most like a lootbox collector, and the result is that the moderately enjoyable gameplay lost its value once I felt like I was stuck in a pointless loop. Do a quest or a job, collect chests and sparse materials, open chests and/or spend materials on crafting or building, repair and repeat. The ultimate goal of that cycle is to... enable the continuation of that cycle, but with better gear and buildings to provide you with the game’s RPG mechanics. Many games do this, Blades has done it poorly if it has made me so painfully aware of its gameplay loop without offering something of substance. Perhaps its a limitation of conventional mobile game design, which is a shame, because the hardware can handle much more than the standard.
Solid for early access. I hate pay to play
by "Darius" on 2019/05/05 21:55
This is a wonderful mobile version of elder scrolls. Pretty, entertaining, and just plain fun. It’s simple, but something you can thoughtlessly sink a few hours into. Which is fortunate because if you’re not willing to sit through some clash of clans style build times, you’re gunna have yourself a bad time. The biggest problem is everything in the game past level 5 is a half an hour or more to accomplish anything, and buildings feel useless and meaningless more often than not. The quests are a little repetitive, but nothing we haven’t seen before. The biggest problem is that after gearing up after 20 hours of blacksmithing decent armor, you find yourself at a wall. At around level 9 i found the most severe difficulty spike of any game in recent memory. Every fight in the game went from “yeah if you swing enough they’ll die and you take no damage” to “if you don’t have at least 1 potion per enemy you’re gunna die even if you perfect shield everything” I’ve tried grinding and leveling up, but honestly the armor and quest differential is insignificant compared to the jump in power of enemies. While i seriously enjoyed the first few mindless hours of gameplay, i wish there either was no difficulty spike, or it came in late game. Not when it feels like you’ve barely gotten anything done after 7 hours.
Amazing game

Being a person who really enjoys dungeon crawler games, I find this to be an awesome game. A lot of people are complaining about level 10+ being too hard, but the game isn’t hard AT ALL. If you need gold or building resources go to the ‘job’ tab under the quests section and you will typically get 1 star or two star difficulty jobs that reward equipment and other goodies. Don’t try and win quests that are 5 star because they were made to be difficult to lower level players. Upgrading gear can help make fights a lot easier as well. Consider crafting gear with better stats, or temper your weapon/armor piece for increased stats. If it is possible, upgrade your blacksmith to unlock better items in the shop and under the craft section. Another frequent complaint is that chests take too long to open. Don’t ever open golden/silver chests as soon as you start playing the game, because you will be unable to open other chests until the timer expires. You can always increase your storage space for gems by pressing the plus button. This game is a really great game with good gameplay and amazing graphics. I would definitely suggest this to anyone who is looking for something fun to play.
Limited
by hftvdjffg on 2019/05/17 02:16
I’ve been a fan of the Elder Scrolls since the 90’s, and i am so sorry that I don’t have better things to say about this game. The graphics are beautiful, but the game play is limited. Movement is limited. You can’t run, jump, climb, fly, swim, or go outside the limited fixed paths. You must fix up a town that no one will ever see. The town is small and there is only one. You can’t leave your town and explore the world. You never journey anywhere. There are no maps. You can’t make your own house or go inside any buildings. There is little to no freedom or creativity. The players still don’t talk. The dialog is prescribed. The quests are limited. My battles the first day are just like my battles after 21 levels. The same monsters are just harder to fight, so all my extra armor, better skills, magic weapons are all nullified. It does offer some variety in the way you can fight an opponent and you can develop a little more skill when fighting. But you can’t run away from an opponent, use any of the environment to your advantage, use any sort of missile weapon, sneak up on an opponent, or have any other outcome than either you die or they die. I’m saddened that I game isn’t more fun to play; I really wanted it to be great. It’s a fraction of the same old game and not as fun.
Game review a plus
by Jay D B on 2019/09/13 00:14
I didn’t see a lot of marketing for this game but over all the graphics are great. Combat wise it general but the different things you can do make it interesting. Spells, different weapons, different armor, abilities, and 3 a skills trees (spells, perks, and abilities). I haven’t gone through a lot of the story but so fare it seems interesting and holds me into the game. My only dislike is the time it takes for treasure chests to open. 5seconds for wood chest, 1hr for silver, 6hrs for gold. There are 2 more chests that I have yet to get but I can assure you it’s a much longer time frame. I’m used to games where the vendor has unlimited money to buy my vendor trash but these don’t. They have a limited amount that increases when you purchase items, over time, or an upgrade. I enjoy building my own town in addition to the customizing with added features. It just gets more expensive and material needy the higher your town prestige gets. This is of course a free to play game with in-app purchases but it is not a pay to win. I’m currently at level 23 and have yet to spend a dime of real-world currency. I would enjoy this game even more if they would just change the vendor buys and the timer on the chests.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Bethesda!
by ust00pid on 2019/06/13 21:15
As it turns out, this really is the best mobile game in history! I was one of the few folks lucky enough to play early access and I love EVERYTHING about the game. Having a reason to put it down once you reach a chest cap, having to grind 10x as hard as paying players for a chance at the good loot/items and you guys making grinding seem like something worth picking up the phone and opening the app. I wrote a 4 star review before, after the E3 update, but as it turns out I misunderstood an in game mechanic. I was ready weeks ago to write a 5 star beaming review and didn't have time. I got time today! If you don’t love this game, I respect your opinion. Don’t mind me, I’ll be over here with my dragon plate armor and lvl 10 buildings 🙌🏾. If you can’t see yourself competing with pay to win players, this is not for you. If all you want is a mainstream video game company to give their all to make the best mobile version of their catalog then you are welcome!!! Thank you Bethesda and everyone involved. Not just for letting me play early, but for getting this sooo right. You can’t please everyone, but you sure did right by me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very well done.
Entertaining and fun, but money grab
by M1key-_- on 2019/09/08 13:45
This is a fun RPG for mobile but this game will just about force the player into spending actual money to continue your positive experience. I’m level 25 and I have had no issues, up until this point. After playing for about 2 weeks, I’ve noticed my chest stash is continuously building up. I cannot keep up with the gold chests and silver chest, to the point where I no long have room for more chest that I find in quests. I have even spent premium gems to increase chest stash size, but the amount of chests continue to grow. I have 16 golden chests and 14 silver chests. How am I supposed to open all the gold chests and open up slots for new chests? Each gold chests requires 6 hours to open: 14 x 6 = 84 hours. That’s over 3 days folks, and that’s assuming one would begin unlocking a chest immediately after one has been open, but that is unreasonable. Add in the silver chests and it’s over 4 days. If I continue playing, I will consistently have to stop playing quests and completely focus on opening chests for 3 to 4 days at a time to clear my chest cache... watching a timer is not fun. Why can’t we choose to delete chests? Deleting a chest should be a no-brainer and should be a decision that the player makes. It would be even better if we could sell them but again, this is a strategic money grab to force the player into opening these.
Has promise but...
by OldManGenX on 2019/05/16 13:19
The good: Graphically this game doesn't disappoint. Controls are finally customizable, but incomplete. There needs to be additional options to hot swap weapons and quick use of poisons/potions. The initial story line is decent enough to keep you interested until ~level 30. I do like the town building feature, but I would also like some option for switching building positions. Overall game play fighting is fluid, even when playing in portrait or landscape. The bad: Does require a stable internet connection. If your phone switches to different wifi signals automatically, you'll need to re-sync. Typical P2W options, but not necessary for initial and mid game. The ugly: End game design needs thorough vetting. Gear repair costs escalate significantly, but gold accumulation from mobs or jobs falls well short of what's required to maintain gear. No option to disenchant gear to recoup some materials and try to re-enchant gear. High end materials for enchanting and crafting are only achievable by opening chests. Gear rewards for chests do not align with character level, especially for the top two chest options. As a result, the grind for decent end game gear is out of reach. End game design warrants skill tree focus on health management as a requirement, and therefore limits flexibility with how gear should be enchanted to maintain survivability.
Good game with some small flaws
by ktamb on 2019/09/18 11:33
I was pleasantly surprised by how much you can do on this game. It has quests and a bit of a story and crafting. It’s not completely open world but it is a mobile game not a console. I’ve spent a lot of time enjoying this game and I will continue to. There are two flaws that I have noticed from the beginning. There is one flaw that I think can be fixed and one that probably can’t. It won’t stop me from playing though. The first flaw is in combat. The way the combat is designed there are too many ways for spells to not work. I like being a spell caster and I feel like spells have been pretty useless especially at low levels. Better to have an enchanted weapon. Spells can be interrupted by you being hit but also if you do something like block or swing a weapon it interrupts the spell too. And you can’t attack something from a distance like a squishy spell caster would do. Weapons are much faster and do more damage with combos. The combat could be fixed though. The bigger problem may not be fixable. Because the game requires a constant link to WiFi I keep getting booted off. Every time I go into the game it takes forever to load and if the WiFi has a hiccup I end up watching the loading screen again.
Elder scrolls on the go
by A.B.Money on 2019/05/05 02:22
First I have played this game since early release , I have not spent a dime of real money and have made it to level 13. The latest update gives gems that you could purchase for easy jobs to complete. This game is simple and fun to play. The controls are easy , one hand tap to go or landscape mode with virtual joysticks. The combat is a simple tap and release timing mechanic that still makes the fights challenging and fun. The quest are a bit repetitive in the job section with easy collecting missions and the enemies seem to be a bit tougher then the mission rates. You are punished for missing a block with low health. However once you access the alchemy shop you can brew potions at a cheap rate. The update made jobs more worthy with bigger rewards for completing. Weapons and armor offer different enchantments and stats that affect enemies differently depending on the type. If you have played any elder scrolls games this is exactly what you could expect for a mobile version. There is even a hometown that you rebuild and add different shops and housing for population growth. The game overall is simple and easy, it picks up wherever you left off after you close your phone and definitely gets you through a bored moment. Worth the download
Repetitive dungeon looting, slow advancement
by Ggggggg3344 on 2019/05/02 05:01
Let’s start positive. The game looks great and plays well on my phone. The enemies are diverse and their resistances/weaknesses make them interesting. Fighting is pretty smooth as well. I liked what I have seen of the storyline. But...I found this game underwhelming. I was hoping for another Morrowind or Skyrim experience, but this is not it. I am a longtime Elder scrolls fan and would gladly pay for another RPG, but the freemium model gets very frustrating, very quickly. I soon hit a point where I was too weak to continue the main quest, and my chest allotment was full. Looting without gaining chests costs more in item repairs than you gain. My options were put the game down or pay. I put it down... for a month. I just got back in out of boredom, but I’m in the same boring spot. Other complaints: the dungeons are very, very repetitive, you have to complete quests in one go and they often backload the difficult enemies. It’s frustrating to spend 10 minutes on a quest and have to repeat it from the start. After a few attempts, it makes you wonder if you’re spending your time wisely. You can sell items to vendors for one-fifteenth of what you buy them for. Basically, my interest ran out of steam because I was not advancing my character enough. I’m still an Elder Scrolls fan and eagerly await their next non-freemium game.
Lots of Potential, but needs some work.
by Trearel on 2019/05/19 03:54
I’ve been playing for a while now (level 22) and I can say that I’ve enjoyed the game. However somewhere around level 15 the game came to an absolute crawl it was like going from 100 to 1 in a matter of 1 level. After crossing that threshold doing the main quests was replaced with having to do a large amount of jobs and Abyss runs in order to get the gear and material needed to progress. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad thing but there needs to be some balancing done to the story and quest, because there is a lot of time in between the story you kind of forget what was going on. In short it just gets super grindy, like Destiny 1 grindy. I wish I was smart enough to come up with the solution for this, but I’m not one to be the expert on how all that works out. Maybe tone down the difficulty on the quests and creatures. For instance trolls are so bad right now. Their regen is manageable but extremely excessive. And because the game is gear dependent, leveling isn’t really that amazing. That’s just my thoughts over all game is good especially for early access, but I think we have a little ways to go before we are there.
Love this game but something about potions needs to change.
by Power Pringle on 2019/10/16 23:21
Love this game and I’m going to keep this review short, everything is amazing in this game it doesn’t blow anything up for micro transactions and if you ask me you can get a lot of gems with spending money on this game and it makes it fun that it’s now blowing up micro transactions all in your face. But let me talk about potions. Health potions to be clear. Garlic is an common item yet so hard to get. That or lavender. Yeah you have to grind to get items but even the alchemist over prices her stuff and it has mad the game well let’s just say unenjoyable from this part. It’s hard to complete some quests or missions without health potions granted that some of the maps have food lying around the other maps don’t. And it’s extremely hard to grind out missions just so I can make health potions. Chests will sometimes give you garlic or the alchemist ingredients you need which is amazing but I just feel that there should be a constant stock on ingredients at the alchemist and it would be easier to get money and buy ingredients off her instead of sometimes finding key ingredients that are suppose to be “common” to get. Other than that this game is FANTASTIC KEEP IT GOING PLEASE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Kim’s review of Blades
by Persian Leopard on 2019/09/12 12:44
Even though the game is still in the development stage, it’s incredibly well made. The game gives you character customization choices in which you can choose from the ten Elder Scrolls races and have customization choices that mirror those in Skyrim. The game takes place after the Empire has been defeated by the Thalmor, and the player character is the last surviving member of the Blades, who has escaped back to his/her home town only to find it has been razed. These events kickstart the adventure as you work to rebuild your home town and investigate the attack. The graphics are quite good considering that this is a cell phone game. I found myself enjoying both the storyline and the characters with whom you interact. The game isn’t complete yet, so there are lines which are not yet voiced, no map, no 3rd person view available, and in combat your weapons sort of float in that there is no visible hand gripping them. Even though this game is still being developed, I highly recommend it, and despite the above issues, the game is still incredibly complete with both character and town leveling systems.
Only playing because I don’t have Skyrim anymore.
by aeros.mommy on 2019/09/16 06:38
This app is alright, it’s kinda nice to have something similar to Skyrim right on my phone. (I don’t have a ps4 anymore) However I think they need to add a few things to make it perfect. First of all, I get so irritated because of how hard it is to acquire health potions. I only have one alchemist’s shop right now and it’s annoying that they only carry one potion at a time. It takes way too long to get missions done b/c of this, cause you literally struggle to survive. And your gems run out so fast, it’s hard to even buy some that way. (I don’t have actual money to spend on this app) Second, I was really disappointed when I figured out that you can explore outside of the town like in other games. You can only do that if you’re on a mission and I can’t stand it. You feel so confined. I get that it’s mobile so you won’t get much but that’s really limiting the apps potential. And lastly, again, the exploration is so limited. You can’t even go into buildings that are within your city! I’m not extremely far in the game and I know there’s a lot to unlock but the fact that I can’t go into the buildings I create is pretty dumb. Don’t get me wrong this is a fun pastime, but don’t get your expectations too high.
Fine but needs work
by Aurora Roarer on 2019/06/15 23:07
The game so far is enjoyable, though it is annoying how my chest inventory is filled with silver chests that stop me from playing nonstop but I understand why it is that way (make it a litter more time consuming to get the better stuff out of them). I would really appreciate a quicker way to switch weapons out in the middle of battle rather than navigate through 4 screens. I would also appreciate being able to easily choose the order the abilities and spells show on the combat screen, as once I grow use to it being one way if I switch out a skill it will completely mess up the order so instead of healing I use poison on the skeletons. I understand that it is an early access so I do not expect everything to be perfect. I would also appreciate a way to figure out the enemies weaknesses more easily even if it is just navigating through the help log to find it in the middle of combat (instead of learning about them in the quick screen transitions). I would also appreciate some of the smaller things explained in the help log, like when you enchant something you may get a bonus or two abilities. Just some ideas to help the experience.
High potential wasted by timers and bottlenecks
by NickerPL on 2019/06/29 18:39
The game has potential but the way it is designed to bottleneck players with egregious timers is insane... imagine Skyrim with a less compelling world, very basic and boring story, basic combat, very basic and repetitive level design, and most importantly TIMERS that are all over the game and ruin the experience (e.g. you got a good chest reward from a quest and want to open it? Good luck waiting hours until the chest opening timer finishes so you can finally be rewarded with the chest’s contents; you asked the blacksmith to craft you a piece of armor? Good luck waiting until the timer finishes; you want to build a building to improve your city? TIMERS; You want to craft potions? TIMERS; Enchant gear? TIMERS. Et cetera). The way I see it, Bethesda puts the gamer between a rock and a hard place because you can either NOT purchase their expensive currency and suffer, OR you buy the overpriced currency and speed up the timers. Those timers ultimately left me with a feeling of "I’m not willing to invest a year of my time to get through all of this content due to the bottlenecking timers that are delaying me; it would just make me feel like I wasted a year of my life for a very unrewarding experience". Give it a try if you want but personally, I said "hard pass” after a little over a week.
Blades by Bethesda
by Scottagain on 2019/06/11 19:32
I have spent no money on this game so far and am already at level 20. There were times when I thought there was nothing to do and jobs were above what I could do but I could always grind it out in the abyss. I’ve swapped out to Orchish equipment and keep a supply of heal potions in case I run in to trouble in the quests. One thing they do not have is dual wielding, but hoping for that later. It’s not as open world as Skyrim but what do you expect for a phone app. I have gone to playing this the most on my phone and have mostly dropped the other apps and maybe will play them if I am tempering or opening a chest. Those that are spending money on this game I think are just impatient. I can wait for things to come available as long as there is something to do. You can jump in and out of the Abyss to go after what you really need and sometimes the quests will give you what you are looking for. Sometimes you can get around the monsters to get the quest done. They will chase after you and sometime you run into another monster down a hall and end up fighting both of them. Great game!
Reviews lie
by CookedbyCarma on 2019/08/23 16:53
This is not for the impatient teenager or middle schooler who wants to play a sword fighting game. This is for the teenager or young adult or even adults in general who enjoy real in depth RPG games. It’s not as in depth as a computer RPG or a console elder scrolls but it is magnificent still. Although one thing I would recommend is a more broad approach to areas you do quests in. It’s pretty much the same dungeons with different or stronger monsters as you progress with the subtle extension during main quests. But still I’ve been playing a week now and I’m level 25 with matching armor, town level 6. You can progress if you take the time to play the game how it’s made to be played. I haven’t spent any real money either, open your gold chests when you sleep, your silver chests whenever you aren’t on the game and your wood chests when you’re playing. Pay attention to the race of your character and the bonuses that come with it. Pay attention to the weaknesses of your enemy. Use your poisons and sometimes take a chance on missions that are max difficulty as they prove to be quite easy sometimes.

So I’ve been waiting well over the 24 hour time period most people say it takes them to get early access. I understand they can’t let everyone on at once, but a little communication on how long I’ll have to wait would be great. Seems like Bethesda is struggling in that department, especially with the confusion about the iPhone 6. I know people say it was on the website, but it really should’ve been on the App Store as well. If they only cater to hardcore fans who crawl on their website every day, they are going to have a hard time staying relevant. Add the fact that it was already released late...you just expect a little better from a major publisher, although that seems to be the the way Bethesda is headed lately. Hope I can change my star rating when I actually get to play the game 🙄 Finally playing game. It’s very fun. Can’t wait for full version to come out. I do hate how there seems to be a response delay after clicking to unlock chests, that makes you accidentally use gems to open them immediately. Seems a little too convenient for that not to be happening by design...either way, they need to fix it.
Repetitive and unbalanced.
by worried4theusa on 2019/06/01 15:23
Having hit lvl 42, the game becomes and endless grind of two things. Dungeon and caves. The same creatures pounding on them till dead. While that may ok if there significant growth in the game after that but the gold reward cost is very low and the armor/weapon repair cost high. It will take over 300k gold to upgrade the smithy to the last level 10 but yet by the time I have completed 3-4 jobs, I would have only made a few hundred in gold. We can choose to not repair anything and go through the game with broken armor but then getting through a 3-5 * job becomes very difficult to survive. Reduce the repair cost significantly and open the game up to new undiscovered lands and then the rating would go up. It could be a fun game but right now it is not living up to its reputation as the Elderscrolls fame we’ve come to enjoy and support. Right now, the only thing I do is check in, get the free daily item and maybe do a challenge. After that, it’s not interesting anymore. Lastly, don’t let these rating fool you. Someone at Bethesda or somewhere else deleted a massive amount of 1* comments to make it appear that this game has overwhelming favor. It does not. Someone is hiding the fact that the game in its present form is boring and badly designed. It has potential but they have been slow to make it interesting.
Awesome, but keeps crashing
by Moonseeker-the-Cat on 2019/08/14 00:56
This game is truly great, it’s like a pocket Skyrim, which I think was the aim. One of the problems, though, is it ends up being slightly restrictive in gameplay options, due to the health being kinda low compared to damage output by enemies in quests above the easiest rank. It requires you to maximize health in skills, spells, and armor, which can be difficult to do early on. It’s tough to find renewable resources as they change every quest, and the shops don’t always have what you need. (For example, I went on several difficult quests and after a while, finished my health potions. I went to buy and brew some more, and promptly realized I only had enough for two tiny health potions, and there were only three at the shop. It made out for five, and not enough left over for poison resistance.) I might just be doing it wrong, though... The other thing, that I KNOW I’m not doing wrong, is that the app keeps crashing on me. I’ve lost my progress on several quests after crashes. Connectivity doesn’t seem to be a problem, as I have a stable one that doesn’t usually fluctuate. I hope this gets fixed in a future update.
Milking the Franchise
by Chronocyst on 2019/07/28 17:16
I love Elder Scrolls games, and I like Blades, but everything costs way too much for even the simplest things. I understand that app games are designed to make money, but there is a point when the greed of the developer takes all the fun out of the game. You have to work way too hard for very little advance or loot. Example: Why are gems needed to temper equipment? It seems just an excuse to buy more things that don’t seem relevant to what is being done, and even ridiculous items like decorations cost as much as buildings do in the beginning. Everything hyper-inflates in cost as you gain town prestige also. Why? The sheer cost of everything makes me only interested in this game, as a once-in-a-while game to play, as compared to Skyrim... the game I couldn’t put down, and still play to this day. I am disappointed that this franchise is going downhill because of greed. Strike one was making new Elder Scrolls games mmo’s. Playing with idiots online is not fun for me, and takes away from the feeling of being immersed in the fantasy. I feel that Blades is strike two. Skyrim and Oblivion were works of art. Graphics and animations are stunning, but gameplay is being sacrificed. Why ruin the recipe?
This game “should” be a 10 but...
by Guataguano on 2019/05/05 23:23
Blades is an amazing looking game. It’s gameplay is very smooth on my iPhone XS MAX. I preordered this game the day it was announced and have been waiting patiently. I’m in the early access and I was so excited until I needed gems. I’ve been playing a lil game called Star Wars galaxy of heroes for the last 3 years. People complain about their micro transaction but you can still progress. I’m no stranger to dropping a couple of dollars in a game I like but in ESB it’s out of control. Changes need to be made. In Blades, My one “BIG” and only complaint is the micro transactions. CHEESE AND RICE AND ALL THATS HOLY! It’s ridiculous. Just about everything is behind a gem or time wall that cost gems to get through. It’s pretty depressing. I am currently level 22 and I have spent ($40) money since I was granted access. I don’t regret it but it’s at a point now that to progress I have to pay in some way shape or form. That’s not fun. It’s a well made and beautiful game but the micro transactions is ruining my experience. **Update** I’m level 43 now. The game is beautiful. Content has gone pretty dry and the developers seem to have poor communication with the ESB community. Small updates and shadow updates. It’s in a weird place.
Love it
by Redwoodacre on 2019/10/04 22:14
My 5 favorite games are Oblivion, Skyrim, Morrowind, Witcher 3 and Dragon Age Origins; so I was so excited to see Blades. I’m not a big fan of games that have in app purchases but so far this is not bad. I have played for about two days. I did purchase one bundle for 4.99 but I don’t feel like I had to to be able to play, and I felt it was worth how much fun I was having. You arrive at your town of birth to find it recently raided and sacked by mercenaries. You get to help find and rescue scattered villagers and help rebuild. Building takes time, sometimes a few hours, opening a chest takes time (5sec for a would expect chest, up to 6hrs real time for a gold chest) or you can use gems that you’ve either found or purchased with real money. If you have the time it’s no big deal. I can see push notifications would be handy to let you know the chest is open. I miss that there is no map feature (unless I just didn’t see it) and no bow. Otherwise I like the combat for it being on my phone. For exploring I like it wide screen and combat I like it tall screen. Great graphics!
Terrible grab and your money!!!
by Maxious1972 on 2019/07/23 17:44
This is the most up front game I’ve seen that is designed to only allow you to continue by dumping more money into the game after original purchase. You literally cannot proceed without buying more from the online store. For starters, you can’t self heal in any real fashion. There’s food but your not allowed to keep any spares you find and don’t need at that time. Never have I seen any RPG that won’t allow you to heal. Therefore, you’re required to use extremely light healings “abilities” and those only work if “timed” right. Your gear will NEVER come for free meaning all the “treasure chest” give is gold, materials for crafting gear, and ALWAYS gear that’s too low for you to use so you sell them...o.O Also, you can level past 50 but there’s point because NOTHING INCREASES. Your health, stamina, magic, and skill points all stay the same. How’s that for further screwing you over. So all in all, it’s a P2P game unless you have no life and spend 10 hours/day playing to collect the materials necessary to craft gear. Have you ever played a game where you’ll never ever find a weapon that’s powerful enough to actually be useful? How about a game that takes weeks to gain the materials for enchanting just to realize your enchant bonus is random. STAY AWAY FROM THE MOST WORTHLESS GAME EVER!!!!
It’s ok
by BlakeBaten619 on 2019/10/24 01:40
It’s a fun game, but why do you have to build stuff and everyone has to do everything for you? You are pretty much useless... you can’t make potions yourself, can’t smelt/craft, can’t enchant; everyone does it for you and you have to spend a bunch of materials from chests that take forever to open (but you can empty your wallet to make it go faster). Oh and if you want to reset your skills/attributes you don’t need to grind for some gold or anything, just give them all your irl money and it’ll be no problem. Also, the liches are sooooo over powered. They regenerate pretty much as fast as you can damage them, making them near invincible, and they do by far the most damage from any other enemy. Balance the game a bit... every time I see a lich, I either leave or try to run around it. Also make something to be able to delete/get rid of chests... I don’t want a ton of silver and gold chests at a time because then I don’t have any room for a lot of wooden chests to open between the longer ones. If you made the game online, you wouldn’t have to make it so pay to play, because people will buy cosmetic stuff (especially if they know that means the game will not be pay to play).
Great Elder Scrolls Fix!
by aph313 on 2019/07/01 21:59
I still play Skyrim frequently, but as only who has played that game knows, one thing leads to another which leads to another which leads to another... Before you know it you’ve sunk 6 hours into the game. Well this is a great pick up and play game where you can play in 10-20 minute intervals without getting completely sucked in (which is fine in moderation). Also it is very convenient to have it on my iPad so I can carry the Elder Scrolls with me anywhere! There are plenty of references to the main Elder Scrolls franchise which is a huge plus as well (look out for Sheogorath). My only complaint is that it is pretty unapologetic in its approach to cutting a profit. I understand, this is a free-to-play app that obviously had many people working on it, but I guess the old fashioned man in me still can’t get used to micro transactions. I will be sure to invest in this game as needed, because the team at Bethesda really does deserve a pat on the back for this one, but I just wish it wasn’t as blatant. I can’t wait to see how the game continues to expand!
Loved it
by WolfPacker 2.0 on 2019/11/14 14:34
I was so happy & appreciative when I found this game for iOS & initially had many positive things to say about it. Unfortunately, there are several aspects of this app that have taken much of the enjoyment out of this game. The first is an inability to stack enchantments. Second, the high cost to buy healing potions & the need for garlic to brew ANY potion (incidentally, garlic is basically non existent in game unless you buy it). Third is that somewhere after level 40 it’s become virtually impossible to block during combat with some NPCs, to the extent that clicking on the shield icon works maybe 50% of the time at best. Even on jobs that are ranked 3 or lower difficulty it’s very hard to complete the job/quest with one life. Additionally, these characters hit you so fast, so many times, & throw so many spells at you that you’re unable to block, swing, throw a spell, or in general have any hopes of completing the job unless you happen to have a rejuvenation scroll or you’re so frustrated you waste gems in order to continue. I know exactly why this is happening & I have no problem paying for extra gems b/c I love this game. However, I will NOT do so through extortion, which is what this game devolves into after about level 40 or so.
Engaging, free, and easy to pick up
by rjnarcissus on 2019/11/30 16:41
This is a beautiful, simple yet engaging, game that is comparable to console games. Of course, as a mobile game, there isn’t as much open exploring, but the dungeons and other locations allow for some exploring and have a few hidden rooms that are fun to find. There is enough narrative to get you emotionally invested and enough combat to keep you active. The gameplay is easy and simplistic, but not to a point where you’ll be bored. The graphics are phenomenal for a mobile game (playing on an iPhone X). I have a had a wonderful time building up skills, finding armor and weaponry, and helping rebuild my town. I have not had to buy anything to feel like I get the full experience of the game. You can easily, without frustration, play this game without spending any money on any extra things. If anything, I would say that some of the quests and jobs get a little repetitive, especially in the beginning when you don’t have enough experience to do or unlock harder quests. But every game has some grinding, right?
Great mobile adaptation of an Elder Scrolls game
by Celebilove on 2019/07/23 01:29
I am relatively new to TES series of games. I just started playing Skyrim last year when a friend gave me her old xbox and a copy of the game, and since then I have learned about and thoroughly enjoyed the expansive gameplay and universe created by the folks at Bathesda. So, when I saw they had come out with a mobile game, I was so pumped! So far, I am a huge fan of this game. The gameplay is great, I love the graphics and the story lines are interesting and I like the added components of building up your town and things like that. I think that, with the limitations of it being a mobile game, it is a wonderful representation of the Elder Scrolls franchise and I really enjoy it! If you are smart with your timing on opening chests and spend your resources wisely, you won’t have to pay any real world money for gems or coins. I haven’t paid a cent, and my character is Lv 26 and I have progressed significantly in several quest lines. Basically, I love this game and I have been suggesting it to everyone I know who likes the Elder Scrolls games!
A game that shows promise
by Ignissus Firebrand on 2019/07/07 00:34
Blades is pretty much as good as TES could get, at this point on mobile, with a few exceptions. I gave the gave 4 stars, nonetheless, due to the immersion the game brings to the table, the graphical detail that pushes current hardware to the max, in some cases, and the sheer joy of the combat and character development functions of the game...but the combat can be bittersweet, at times, due to a current flaw that absolutely must be fixed by devs in order for this to be completely worthy of bearing the name The Elder Scrolls. The touch screen function occasionally and annoyingly detects an attempted weapon swing in the lower right corner of the screen while disabling the ability for you to use your skills and spells!!! This is unacceptable. Also, Elder Scrolls without Lorebooks is not Elder Scrolls at all. This is essential and must be added. Log July 6th 2019: Game is improving, with increased addition of new NPC voices. Still no lorebooks as of yet that I can find. I may not be far enough in though. Game lacks story depth IMO. This may be fixed upon future patches
Good to kill some time
by Houstone on 2019/05/07 20:06
Enjoying it more than I thought. Open the 5sec chests while playing, and save the hour+ ones to click open before logging out. Don’t spend any gems especially during early game. They seem to come pretty regularly, and you’ll have enough for purple or blue legendary chests with amazing equipment. I’ve bought 2 already playing free for a week, and the gear is amazing. You can upgrade all the gear in game from white(worst) to purple(best) Try to save your revive spells for Abyss which unlocks early. Don’t push your luck if you aren’t leveled & geared. I accidentally used all mine early reviving & dying to the same enemy. Go to Abyss once you have an alchemist who can make you more healing potions. Each level deeper gives you XP & Gold modifier. While every 4 or 5 enemies killed gives you better & better chests, and crafting items. I’ve had no need to spend money on it, but if I’m still playing in a month I’ll drop $5 just to pay for the game if i continue to enjoy it. 1 star off as I have only seen a few interior assets, and only 1 tile sets. More could be further in though.
Can’t give it five stars yet.
by mythran on 2019/05/01 21:08
This game has beautiful graphics and an intuitive movement system that seems easy to get used to. Ive been playing for about a month on early access and have enjoyed the game for the most part. Micro transaction games are the unfortunate norm and this is no exception. My main gripe is the real dollar cost of items offered. 10$ for an epic weapon that you will have to replace quickly is a bit excessive even for an adult such as myself. The other annoying bit is the skull difficulty rating. Getting suckered into a daily job where a cave troll is the first creature you are challenged with is not cool. I can kill most things with my character but not the cave trolls. They seem a bit too tough to show up against a level 20 character wearing exquisite dwarves plate armor and easily kill that that character while it carries a nice shield. I do not enjoy a challenge but that is frustrating. Maybe some adjustments are still needed. I play ESO and loved Skyrim. I had high hopes for this game and preordered it. I’m not thinking this one will be one I play for very long due to the cost.
Good game and getting better
by Aaron233rd on 2019/06/15 20:13
So far, every update is improving the game, keeping it balanced, and keeping my attention. The most recent update with jewelry has been great. I appreciate the way the game structured so you are not forced to purchase anything to enjoy all parts of the game. The last update did motivate me to make a purchase just out of appreciation. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because it’s still in ‘Early Access’ but I’m looking forward to more improvements and the Arena being unlocked. If I can make a suggestion: expand the Challenges to include one Dailey and one Weekly challenge to mirror the daily and weekly quests. These challenges could reward a level appropriate item or materials instead of gold just to make it different. The challenges could be as simple as completing a certain number of regular challenges, a certain number of jobs, or it could be the same as the current challenges but with higher much requirements. I think that might be an easy way to improve the game. I love what you’re doing with it to date, keep it up!
Difficulty Spikes
by sonofdog55 on 2019/05/07 19:07
I should preface this by saying I’m a huge fan of other Elder Scrolls titles, so I went into this with open eyes. I was excited by the idea of being able to explore this universe, even if it was abridged, on my phone, and at first I enjoyed it; quests and jobs were satisfying if a little repetitive, real-world time delays got a little annoying, but overall it was a fun little game to play for a few hours. Now though, I’ve hit an absolutely insane difficulty spike, after playing for maybe two days (level 12). In what seems to be some sort of overcorrection, where in earlier levels enemies were quite easy or at least not absurdly challenging, once you get to the Bloodgaurd story line the quests become insane. Even the jobs are impossible, including those ranked very low in difficulty. It gets to the point were after two enemies I’ve either got to spend all of my health potions or I’ve essentially resigned myself to an early exit. This won’t work, it doesn’t keep people coming back to the game, it’s unduly frustrating, and it takes away from actually engaging with the plot and in tinkering with your town.
Excellent Elder Scrolls app!!!
by Bacon Juice on Toast on 2019/09/13 12:22
If you liked Skyrim, and wish you could play from your phone, this one’s for you. The game uses many meshes, items, and even voice actors from the popular Skyrim game. That makes this feel like a well-made Skyrim mod. The major difference is that this is NOT an open-world game. iPhone apps juuust can’t handle that. So instead imagine being trapped in Helgen. You can only leave to complete repetitive “dungeons”, and you must rebuild the burnt-up town. Dungeons seem to be a randomly generated series of sections that may repeat and two dungeons may be very alike, but they ARE beautifully detailed. Enemies are also repetitive. Finding chests is like a gift/curse combo because yay stuff, but you have to wait a very VERY long time to open some chests, and they pile up. I guess the app wants to make some money which is the purpose of most apps, it I think this will shortly become unplayable if I don’t pay because of the limited space for chests. Anyway for now it’s just awesome to have some fun, well-made Elder Scrolls content! So over all, despite my impending chest problem, I LOVE IT!!!

Can’t get past making a character
by John A K on 2019/12/12 06:43
All these reviews of playing but I’ve had the app downloaded for months now and nothing has changed and all I can ever do is make a character and then it crashes and makes me do it again

Makes me want to play Skyrim so you win
by Twinster277 on 2019/12/12 05:06
Best game so far on the App Store
Too slow moving
by Forsworn1725 on 2019/12/12 04:12
When I saw Skyrim I thought it would be a combat filled rpg like game, similar to the original. Instead I get a city building vibe, it takes too long to rebuild the city, everything is too expensive and it just feels kinda slow. Honestly could be an impressive mobile game without the slowness.
Crash all the time

Captivating
by Martin.C93 on 2019/12/12 01:30
So far so good, I’ve been playing for about 3 days I’m level 14 and my town is level 4. Great game!

by Biofreeze868 on 2019/12/12 00:09
I was looking forward to the arena mode but I can’t seem to win that much I have all exquisite gear and am several levels above the enemy or several below and either way I can’t win which either they are cheating or the game is horribly imbalanced which I’m going to say some of both the single player is fun I would say stay away from the Arena mode until they work out the bugs
Awesome!
by black-hat-hacker. . . on 2019/12/11 22:59
This is one of the best games you could find on the App Store.

Glitch?
by Taylormenfolk on 2019/12/11 19:05

Great start

Amazing game
by Ho Really? on 2019/06/22 02:58
Being a person who really enjoys dungeon crawler games, I find this to be an awesome game.

Great game!

Love it
